-
You're listening to a message to go from at church.
-
We hope this message will.
-
Light up your day. What's my attitude? What's my attitude?
-
So you know, last year we activated discipleship and this
-
year it's revival and we will get to the eam
-
in the following years to come. All right, So what's
-
my attitude? And I'm going to be using scripture that
-
is quite I would say, I've not heard it in
-
this context before the Parable of the Talents, And we're
-
going to be reading from Matthew twenty five, verses fourteen
-
to thirty, and we'll see where we go with this.
-
All right. Now, this message came about as a result
-
of some conversations that I had, or have had with
-
some you know, with people.
-
Along the way of my journey, the way of my life.
-
And you know, there are lots of people who treat
-
their church like a coat, or like a shirt, or
-
like a piece of clothing as and when they want
-
to change it, oh, just get up and go, you know.
-
And this kind of bothered me, So I asked, these people,
-
didn't the Lord tell you to go?
-
What for the Lord tell me to go? What's wrong?
-
What I'm going to church? Man, I'm living here, I'm
-
going to another church. It's okay, what God is there
-
as well? God is here, God is everywhere.
-
This is what they tell me.
-
So I couldn't argue this point, you know, because it's true, right,
-
God is here, He's in another church, He's everywhere. So
-
I went to the one who could give me an answer.
-
So I ask the Lord, Lord, what do you think
-
about this? And this is how the Lord answered me.
-
For the Kingdom of Heaven.
-
Is like a man traveling to a far country who
-
called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. Wow,
-
the Kingdom of God.
-
Is like a man. You know.
-
When I read this parable, I am reading a parable
-
that speaks to me about God, my Father. Now, parables
-
are stories that have a very spiritual application. They may
-
not or may be true. But in this particular case,
-
I believe it is referring to God. And why I
-
say that, when you go towards the end of this parable,
-
you realize the power of this man and what he
-
could do. So it tells me that this is speaking
-
about God the Father.
-
So all those of us who think church is like.
-
A garment that we need to change, it's Okay, you
-
go to another church, but there's a greater truth behind them.
-
Let's discover it together. Now.
-
The Kingdom of Heaven is also a term that you know,
-
when the people who are writing the scripture never wanted
-
to use the word God. They revered the word God
-
so much that they would not use that word. Jesus
-
when he is speaking, he is speaking to a people
-
who understand this particular point. So when he is trying
-
to give a story of what God is like, he's
-
speaking to them in a language that they will understand.
-
So when they say Kingdom of God is like a man,
-
it is drawing if I were to tell the story
-
about God in a person that you might understand.
-
This is it. This is what Jesus is trying to
-
get at.
-
And it says that this man went to a far
-
away country. Why does it say far away country? Look,
-
I think this is wonderful for us that this man
-
can go to a far away country. You know what
-
it speaks to me of trust. It speaks to me
-
now if I am taking this to be God to us,
-
it's telling me that God trusts us. He trusts us
-
so much that he can go away. What did Jesus
-
say in Matthew twenty eight, go into the world and
-
preach the Gospeer Mackey disciples. The most important task on
-
God's heart? Who did God give it to us? And
-
he trusted so much he left? How many of us
-
can be like that?
-
You know?
-
Have you ever given a task to someone you don't trust?
-
You are always looking over the shoulder. You are never
-
far away.
-
True, not.
-
So if you got somebody looking over your shoulder, you've
-
gotta ask yourself, this guy really don't trust me? Now?
-
How many of you have said that before, or say
-
that now? Or where you work you say that? But
-
look at God he trusts you. Wow?
-
Now you say wow, We'll.
-
See Now it says who called?
-
Who called? Do you know that this is a calling.
-
The people that God called in this parable war?
-
Who he is? I like that you got it his
-
own servants? He did not call servants? Who are you?
-
And I a servant too? My kids stopped his door
-
on the chair. I cannot come to church today because
-
I got to look after his doore. Whose servant are you?
-
You know? Tell them about myself? When we had our kids.
-
My children were in church with us until two am,
-
three am in the morning. We would go to church
-
six am on Sunday and reach home two or three
-
am Monday morning, every Sunday without fail. How old were
-
my girls? One year old, one and a half two.
-
So you're thinking yourself, what bad parents? Let me tell
-
you something. Both of us realized very early on in
-
our relationship. We could never look after our children better
-
than God could.
-
So what did we do?
-
We sought to make it clear to God that when
-
we had our children, they would not control our devotion
-
to him. They would come along our devotion to him.
-
They would learn from our devotion to Him and not
-
the other way around. How so, unlike so many parents today,
-
And then you wonder why things don't go so well.
-
You know, my girl she dislocated her arm. Ashley here
-
at the age of one. She's crying and crying and crying.
-
And as bad parents decided we were at Sunday service
-
we needed to bless the Lord. My kid cried for
-
five hours or six hours? What bad parents?
-
We were? Right? But you see whose seven are we?
-
For us? I'm not telling you to do this. This
-
is how God taught us.
-
We gave our duty and her honor to God first,
-
immediately after service was over, we took our child to
-
the hospital and the doctor checked her out, said she's
-
probably dislocated her arm. Let me take an X ray.
-
Hold on, I'll get back to you. Let me go
-
and prepare. I looked at Elder Mabel. She was sitting
-
down with Ashley on her lap. I was standing and
-
I said, I don't like this. We were looking at
-
the Lord in prayer, so I laid hands, we prayed,
-
and I said, in Jesus' name, be healed. The moment
-
I finished that prayer in Jesus' name, I was standing
-
holding a toy. Ashley reached out with a hand that
-
was supposedly dislocated. She took the toy and she was
-
giggling and laughing all the way and just looking and say,
-
God is here there, there's no need for us to
-
be here. We got up, we went to the counter,
-
tolderness not necessary for the X ray.
-
My daughter is.
-
Healed, and we walked out exactly like that. Why could
-
we do that? Because we realized that God looked after
-
our children better than we could.
-
We are just his servants.
-
You better get knowledgeable or what it means to be
-
his servants.
-
Because time is very short. It is very very short.
-
His own servants call his servants are what a servant is?
-
A servant? Servant is also a bond servant.
-
What is a bond serven The guy that puts his
-
ear to the to the door and they shove and
-
all and then you know, to the to the door
-
door frame and blood comes out.
-
Servant for life. It's called a bond servant, all right.
-
You know. It is someone who says you're the Lord
-
and I'm not. I neighs can say that, Oh, I
-
don't like church today, So I'm gonna go to that
-
church and listen to that word. You know how this
-
message grew. You know what the Lord said to my question.
-
My people, A lot of them treat my house like
-
a restaurant. True, I don't like the food today. This quick,
-
the oal message is not good enough. I want honey chickens.
-
I go to the other church. I go to the
-
other church. This is not the kind of chicken I
-
was looking for. I like the chance you message. Go
-
to another church? Who is serving?
-
Who? What have we made God your cook? Seriously? We
-
have made God our cook.
-
Hey, guys, I apologize if I'm coming across strong because
-
I'm on head. I have been like this all week.
-
God is not our cook. Who do we serve? Do
-
we serve him? Or do we go to church to
-
be served. We were having this discussion in the car
-
on Friday, and the Lord gave something else. He said,
-
you know a lot of people now want to go
-
to big churches. Hey, I got nothing wrong, nothing against
-
big churches, a pleaser. Do not get me wrong. If
-
you're going to church to serve, praise the Lord. But
-
if you're going to church to get quitau, I have
-
something against that. So they go to a church. Let
-
me tell you something about God. Jesus when he preached
-
and he healed, The Bible tells me, I think it
-
is in Mark.
-
The people thronged around him.
-
There were crowds, There were thousands of people pushing up
-
against him. He didn't care. Can I tell you honestly,
-
not one of them touched him. Not one of them
-
made a difference where he was concerned, except the one
-
who crawled on the ground to touch his garment, the serpent.
-
The one touched his garment, and God healed all that
-
millions and those thousands. The Bible says, a multitude throng
-
the party, and he says, who touched me? And disciples?
-
You've gotta love the disciples. Lot, what's the matter with you?
-
There are thousands of people touching you, He says, You
-
don't understand when my servant touches me. Hour goes out,
-
whose servant are you? Are we going to a restaurant?
-
If you've never heard it before, let me tell you
-
church is not a restaurant. You come to church not
-
to hear the word alone. You come to church to
-
serve God. And you gotta ask yourself if you're not
-
doing anything to serve God. You have to answer that question.
-
Let's move on. Bible says that he delivered his goods
-
to his servant. You know, do you think it was alone?
-
My Bible tells me that he had not. It wasn't
-
just and entrusted. He yielded it up to them. He
-
surrendered it to them. He gave it to them. Man, Hey,
-
when God gives us talents, sir, it's not alone. That's
-
the difference. You read the scripture. Did he ever take
-
it back? He never took it back. And so we
-
wondered to ourselves, what do we do with that talent?
-
That God has given us the talent to sing. No,
-
I don't want to sing God, I don't want to
-
come on Thursday to practice. No, let's be honest. If
-
there's anyone who doesn't want to serve singing up here
-
is because they don't want to come to church and
-
practice on her Thursday, or they don't want to get
-
up and be the first one to church to do
-
the instruments. Hey, for ten years, I got up at
-
six in the morning with another guy, loaded up the
-
whole band with a roads piano. In case you think
-
a Road's piano weighs a pound, it weighs one hundred pounds.
-
Big speakers like this big base speaker. Two of us
-
load on the van, take it out, carry it up
-
three flights of stairs because the hotel would not let
-
us use the lift, just the two of us, and
-
after service is over, get back again and send it
-
back to church in Klang. From Klang to kl ten
-
years I did that, and here some of us I've
-
been serving every week for the last month.
-
I'm so tired.
-
If you want to know why God gives me blessings,
-
this is it. I'm laying up for myself treasures in
-
heaven when I meet the Lord. He does not say,
-
depart from from me, I never knew you. If you
-
and I think that one safe, always say, well that's
-
the plan. But there's a part you have to play,
-
because I'll tell you this. My scripture tells me those
-
who heal the sick, those who cast out demons, those
-
who did miracles. Some of them did make it. You know,
-
Bible says, I think it's in Duke, Oh, Matthew, I
-
think it's It says, depart from me, I never knew you.
-
He's saying that to who the ones who healed the sick,
-
the ones who did miracles. Do you know that Judas
-
heal the sick? You read it, it's there. He gave
-
power to the twelve. They went out, they prayed for
-
the sick. Demons came out. Judas was one of them.
-
Judas make it to heaven. He made a decision to
-
betray the Lord. Whether you and I finish our journey
-
up with the Lord depends on our decision.
-
Do we want to see it through or not? Haha?
-
Do you want to see it through?
-
You know how close we are to the end. The
-
Bible says that when the people in the world turns
-
against he is chosen people, the end will come. As
-
of today, almost all of Europe has turned against his people,
-
leaving only one country. That one country is made up
-
of at this moment about fifty one or fifty two
-
percent that are supporting his country, his people, and forty
-
eight percent who don't.
-
Do you know how close it is?
-
The Americans are sorry, my American brothers and sisters. I'm
-
just speaking it like I like the Lord tells, make crazy,
-
no serious. They have known the Lord for so long
-
and they are willing to reject these people if the
-
current opposition ever take over the government again. They hate
-
his people and that will signal the end. Guys, how
-
many of you are under the age of sixty, Most
-
likely it will happen in your time. Me I always say,
-
the candle burns on both ends. When you're born, the
-
candle burns on both ends. One end is your life
-
is going. The other end is the Christ is coming.
-
So at the moment our candles has been more on
-
the other end, So some of you the candle might
-
be the Lord coming back. You have no time, You
-
have no time to get your act together. Those of
-
you are not serving now get to it, get to it. Okay,
-
deliver these goods for all that from delivered his goods.
-
And to one, okay this, I love this. And to one.
-
He gave five talents, to another, two and another one,
-
each according to what his own ability, his own ability,
-
and immediately he went on his journey. As I said it,
-
he gave. He did not consign those talents. He did
-
not loan those talents. He gave it to each of
-
according to what his own ability. Not an indictment or
-
one's character. This is not an indictment or one's character,
-
but specific to each person's distinct ability. I know those
-
are not those are my notes. For example, really asks
-
a guitarist to play the drums, he will ask a
-
guitarist to play guitar. I couldn't play the guitar. I
-
couldn't play the drums. But he said, Terrence, you play
-
the drums. Say okay, if you say so, I'll do it.
-
So I played the drums for twenty five years. How
-
could that be done well? He called a person who
-
was afraid and beating in a crashing sorry in a
-
wine press, to be a mighty man.
-
Novella.
-
You see, I wrote a song it's not what people
-
say I am, it's what it's who God says, I am.
-
I am who he says I am, I am who
-
I am. Since I am I wrote a song, I've
-
actually got it produced.
-
It's pretty good.
-
One to each according to his own ability. If there's
-
anyone here who says they have got no ability, either
-
my Bible is telling me a story or you are
-
telling me a story. Who do you think I will believe?
-
I believe my word of God. He gives to everyone
-
according to his own ability. So what is your ability?
-
Man? What is the ability? Do you know that the
-
person who got five.
-
And the person who got three and the person who
-
got one are the same. Go figure, Because if you
-
have the ability for three or two, and you have
-
the ability for two and you work with two, what
-
is it one hundred percent? You have five and you
-
work with four, you're only giving eighty percent. So the
-
ones I used to think about this fullest can do
-
so much. I cannot run like them. God has never
-
meant me to run like them. He's meant me to
-
run like me because the amount of talent he has
-
given me. That's what he expects from me. That's the
-
accounting he wants. He doesn't want the accounting that somebody
-
else is running. So that takes the pressure off of you.
-
You are not under any kind of pressure. You're only
-
under pressure to be the best that He knows you
-
can be, each according to his own ability, distinct unique.
-
Only to you.
-
My family members used to call me the fourth part
-
of the Trinity, God's brother.
-
That was my name.
-
The reason is because I always had an answer, and
-
that's maybe because I believe God always says an answer,
-
So I am like my father. That's okay, But I
-
realized where this help comes from. You know, when somebody
-
comes up to me after services, say what that was
-
a good message? You never find me, okay, this is
-
just me. You never find me saying oh it's all God.
-
Does that mean I don't give the glory to God.
-
I give the glory to God in my opening prayer,
-
In my opening prayer, I've already said it seems it's
-
not me.
-
So what do when somebody comes and thanks me? You
-
know what I received? Lord? Thank you?
-
I heard it right. That's okay, Lord, thank you. I
-
didn't waste their time, So I'm grateful that I called
-
it right. It's okay, is you a learner? God's okay
-
with you, seeing what you've done. He's all right with it.
-
Each according to his own ability. Then he who received
-
the five talents when in traded with them and made
-
another five. And likewise he who had received two gained
-
two more.
-
Do you know what?
-
Both produced? One hundred? They were productive? Are you and
-
eye productive? We got to ask ourselves. Because the Lord
-
is coming soon? All it takes uh in November. In November,
-
if the Democrats win bought houses, you can be quite
-
sure that they will do everything in their power to
-
ensure the next president is from that party. And all
-
of them that are currently planning to run for one
-
of a better work could be considered to be communists
-
opposed to Jesus Christ, opposed to the people.
-
And what happens when that happens, ah excitement.
-
So both produce exactly the production value of their distinct ability.
-
Production value. You and I we have value. We have
-
value to produce. In case you don't know, I'm now
-
standing up here with a knee that is crazier. If
-
I want to walk this way, my knee wants to
-
go the other. Okay, it's loose and it's tight all.
-
At the same time, as I was worshiping the Lord,
-
I was still moving from left to right, nasty to
-
my knee. But you know why I do that? Because
-
the Lord looks at me and says, if I have
-
to give a good knee too, I'll give it to him,
-
because even though his knees better, he's still moving like
-
I live.
-
You and I are we living like God's alive.
-
If God were to give mobility, wouldn't he give mobility
-
to someone who's going to use it for his glory?
-
Why waste it on somebody who's not So you see it.
-
They produce according to their ability. Success comes in doing
-
what they could do best.
-
Wow, do you know.
-
That you are successful in the eyes of the Lord
-
if you are doing what you can do best, not
-
what they can do best, not what she can do best, what.
-
You can do best, but what can you do best?
-
You're going to ask the Lord when God asks you
-
to do something you can.
-
And sometimes, oh, but God never asked.
-
Me what your CPC? Who's representative? Whose representative is your
-
CPC owner? Who when your CPC comes and asks you, can.
-
You be a horse?
-
No?
-
No, no, I don't have a smile. Learn.
-
Your CPC is giving you an opportunity to do that
-
one thing you can do best when you say no?
-
Are you saying no to your CPC? Depart from me?
-
I never knew you. Hey, guys, this is real. I'm
-
speaking to you a real God. I'm not speaking to
-
your figment of my imagination. If you cannot stand at
-
the door and say hello to somebody, how on earth
-
are you going to be in heaven?
-
Because heaven is one big gull at time? Hey, hi,
-
how are you praise the Lord? Worship you a love?
-
It's a one hundred percent worship time.
-
If you cannot be worshiping down here, how on earth
-
you think you're gonna go up there?
-
Hey?
-
God is protective over his home. Okay, He's very protective.
-
Who's gonna get in? If you don't fit in, you
-
will not be there.
-
Serious. I'm sorry to say that. I'm not sorry to
-
say that. It's the truth.
-
Heaven is a one way door. You go in, you
-
cannot come out, you know, but you find it.
-
People big pick They pick big.
-
Churches, why so they can rush in and rush out unforeseen,
-
n seen, incognito, silent cia Christian. They come into service,
-
ten minutes before worship ends, and five minutes before worship
-
hands the outer door. Do you do the math and
-
you think you're going to be in heaven? Hey, I
-
go words for you. If you're not coming to worship
-
the Lord, don't come to church. Seriously, don't waste your time,
-
because God is not fool.
-
God is not.
-
Mocked whatsoever man reaps, whatsoever man sows that shall he reap?
-
You see, because you're so in it interested to get
-
in and get out? Do you think heaven is like
-
that you can go in and come out. You go in,
-
you cannot come out. Do you think if God is
-
interested to give his home too, do you think he's
-
interested to give it to somebody who will look after
-
his home or somebody who wants to rush away? Real questions,
-
because I'm speaking about a real God. Oh, this has
-
been bur me for all, for all this time I
-
got up in the morning. My knee is having this issue.
-
Right.
-
I'm used to doing a sub thirteen kilometer, and I'm
-
used to doing ten kilometers on a Sunday morning. I
-
could only manage two today, fourteen minutes twenty seconds.
-
That is so slow. I could only do two because
-
of my knee. But I did it for you.
-
I did it for me because I wanted God to speak.
-
I had this desire to get this message across, because
-
so much is it burning in my heart. But he
-
who had received the one went and dug it in
-
the ground, and he dis Lord's money. And after a
-
long time the Lord of those servants came and settled
-
the counts.
-
With them. There are those the ones who rush in
-
and rush out, don't want to serve.
-
These are the ones who've taken the talent that God
-
has given them and hid it in the ground. If
-
you're saying that you have no talent to serve the Lord,
-
then you're telling me my God is a liar. I
-
refuse to believe that God has given each one even
-
one talent. And if you are not using, what have
-
you done. You've hid it in ground, You put it
-
there where nobody can see. But you want to know something,
-
The Bible tells me the Lord came back. Hey, Jesus
-
is coming back, and he is coming back soon.
-
Soon, and very.
-
Soon we are gone to see the king soon and
-
very soon we are going to see the king soon,
-
and very soon we are going to see the King hellolujjah, hellolu. Yeah,
-
we are going to see the king. No more crying there.
-
We are going to see the king. No more crying there.
-
We are going let's see the king. No more crying there.
-
We are going to see the king. Hellelujah, hellolujah, we
-
are going to see the King.
-
I hope we see the king.
-
I hope we go to where there's no more crying,
-
because if we hear a lot of crying, we're not
-
with him, and then it's quite sad. So here we
-
got this joker. I call him a joker. The first
-
two traded right, the first who did something.
-
But this guy he left.
-
He departed Bible also saying he left her and he hit,
-
He left and he hid.
-
He took a direction away from the task. Haha. He
-
did a jonah.
-
He took a direction away from the task. It speaks
-
of intent. This was his intent. I will not do okay,
-
I don't want to get involved. I've been hurt before,
-
I've been there, done that. My time has come. Oh
-
and I love this one. My season is over. The
-
devil loves it when you speak those words, my season.
-
There is only one season to know and love the
-
Lord and serve him with all your heart, soul, in
-
mind and strength. That's the season you should be in.
-
If you're not in that season, you're in the devil season.
-
Oh I don't want to get involved. Somebody else will
-
do it. I'm on holiday. So when you go on
-
a holiday, you give up the ghost. You were away, couldn't.
-
Come to church.
-
You went to her another church. You're away, you went
-
to her Catholic church. He made an attempt, on a holiday,
-
or on a task or on work to do the
-
right thing. You know what that is, I'll explain.
-
To you know what.
-
So he dug in and hid it a rejection of
-
the entrustment. When you do not do what God has
-
told you to do, you have rejected and trustment. And
-
you think, and I think we're going to be with
-
the law. Ask yourself. You better ask yourself this question now,
-
because then.
-
You'll be too late.
-
Time. Do you know that we are given time to
-
get a act together? Every minute the Lord is away
-
and here we are trying. Lord comes soon. You know
-
why God is not coming soon. He's giving us time
-
to get an act together, because when it comes up,
-
we've got.
-
No more time act together or act not together. It's
-
over time.
-
So here received five talents, came and brought five other talents, saying, Lord,
-
you delivered to me five talents. Look, I've gained five
-
more talents besides them. Wow, the guy very excited. Man,
-
God you gave me I did. Oh, you preached a
-
good message? Thank you, Lord. I called it right. Lord,
-
I didn't waste that time. Can you see that's what
-
I'm trying to get it? Of course I think it's
-
the you think what the message came from me? No,
-
right from the very start, not my words, but yours.
-
So when you thank me, you know what I can receive.
-
Thank you for hearing right, thank you for being or
-
being into his word. I can receive that. I can
-
be grateful. That makes me happy. I didn't waste your time.
-
Why you come here and I waste your time? I
-
feel happier. God will judge me, you know. God will
-
take me to task because I wasted your time. And
-
he's Lord said to him, well done. He's a well
-
done when you do what the Lord tells you to do.
-
What is the blessing? Well done? Good and faithful servant.
-
You've been faithful of a few things. I will make
-
you ruler. Hey, he's a servant man. God will turn
-
you from a servant to a ruler when you are
-
faithful to what He's given you to do, from servant
-
to ruler. And then he says, enter into the joy
-
of Lord, the fellow who is not doing you. You
-
and I were not doing what the Lord tells us
-
to do it. He's going to say, enter into my joy. Hey,
-
God's not like us. You know, we are unclear. God
-
is very clear. He's very clear what objective he wants
-
to reach. He wants people who serve him to enter
-
his joy. Remember, I tell you the parable speaks also
-
about something that is real, something about God. Good describes
-
what originates from God, is empowered by him. So if
-
God gives you a talent, it comes from him. He
-
empowers you, and through faith, you will be able to
-
do it. It wasn't more money that the Lord was
-
pleased about. You know, do you think the Lord was
-
happy about more money? No, he was happy that the
-
guy used his talent. Faithfulness. This is what God is
-
seeking from us. We have to be faithful over the
-
gifts he's given us. Joy of the Lord refers to
-
someone supreme God, even so that is why I believe
-
this parable refers to God. Enter into the joy of
-
the Lord. Now, he who had received two talents came
-
and said, aha am I for time. I'm okay fifteen
-
minutes ago. Wow, praise the Lord. I'm not doing too bad.
-
He who had received two talents came and said, Lord,
-
you delivered to me two talents. Look, I've gained two
-
more talents besides them. So now how many percent? One
-
hundred percent? But the guy I don't want produce five?
-
Do you think God cares? That's why God is a
-
just god. He's not a fair god. Oh want a
-
thing to say, But God refers to him as being
-
just himself.
-
Is being just?
-
So being just is about seeing things from a proper perspective.
-
We would see things. That is, we look at all
-
the rich people in the world. We say, wow, they
-
must be really good. You know how many rich people
-
do not enter the joy of the Lord. It's not
-
about money, honey. The Lord said to him, well done,
-
well done, too well. No, the other one got five.
-
This one meet to God said what well done, well done?
-
You have been faithful over her few things. I will
-
make you ruler servant to ruler and I don't mean
-
that straight thing that you put on your paper and
-
draw a line.
-
I don't mean that. Okay. He's not gonna make you
-
a ruler. Okay, it's gonna make you a ruler. Ruler Okay, hmmm. Enter,
-
there's another one.
-
He says, enter, Enter into the joy of your lo
-
Do you know there is no record read it? There
-
is no record of the master taking back the money?
-
Wow?
-
Does that mean you become richer? Hallelujah, Praise the Lord, Amen,
-
Glory to God. Yes, he gave his servants to trade in.
-
In fact, he let them keep it. God has never
-
been interested in the money. Or is it to say
-
he's never been interested in the talent? Well, he's been
-
interested in you. Okay, He's been interested in your faithfulness.
-
He is interested that your faithfulness be productive.
-
How are we producing? Now?
-
You understand why I once went to this big church Again,
-
why they keep talking about big churches. I am never
-
interested to see church growth to transfer.
-
Sorry, don't interest me.
-
I would love church growth through new souls, not church transfers. Okay,
-
I've been to one huge church, this huge church in Singapore.
-
You know I won't tell you the name. There is
-
a huge church. We were there once holiday. You know holiday,
-
what you must do, go to church. So we were
-
on holiday, we went to church and this was it
-
was like they had their service in the World Trade Center.
-
He was huge.
-
There may have been five to ten thousand people there.
-
So we were like anseler. We were visitors here. We
-
tell visitors you sit down. Everybody comes shake here and hello, Hi,
-
how are you good to see you? Praise the Lord,
-
give you give. We were visitors, me, my wife, the
-
two girls, us four.
-
And no more. We were there. Did anyone even say
-
hello to us?
-
No nobody came to say hello to us. In fact,
-
we were treated like cattle city. The guys in black
-
were faces. They look like some concert god, the same
-
way the concert gods treat you when you go to
-
a concert. This is how they were treating us. So
-
we take out a photograph to capture the moment. I
-
was like, oh no, no, no, no camera, no camera out,
-
cann up. So I gotta ask you, this is what
-
God means for his house to be because this is
-
a this is a very very big restaurant. They expected
-
the people to come in and just get food. I
-
don't think they were really interested in the fellowship. So
-
we tend to want to go to these places to
-
get lost.
-
Don't don't. Don't be like that.
-
So the one who received the one talent say, everybody
-
has to give an account whether you are a talented
-
person or you got no talent. That's what you think
-
it is. I dare any one of you to go
-
before the Lord and say, God, I got no talent.
-
I dare you.
-
I dare you to tell Jesus you came up. Why
-
you're accounting from me? What talent did you give me?
-
So I'll pray and ask Lord, can I be there?
-
No it this happens. I want to see whether anybody
-
dares say, no, you didn't give talent.
-
No.
-
So anyway, let me tell you the heart of this person.
-
It was his heart.
-
You see.
-
It is when you when you use the talents God
-
gives you. You know what you're using. You're using your heart.
-
Just look at this guy. Look at this guy. Then
-
he who received the one talent came and said, Lord,
-
I knew you to be a hot man, reaping where
-
you have not sown, in gathering where you have not scattered. See,
-
And I was afraid. And when it hit your talent
-
in the ground. Look, yeah, there is what you got.
-
There.
-
You can have it back. You don't waste my time day,
-
Why you waste your timidi date, I.
-
Asked for it. I didn't ask for that talent. What
-
take it back? Lad?
-
You dare tell it to God when you see him.
-
But you know this guy dead. Not only did he
-
do it, he say, you know, I know what kind
-
of person you are.
-
You know.
-
You're a horrible person. Why you did you give it
-
to me? I want to work for you.
-
That's his heart.
-
Listen again. And I was afraid and hid your talent
-
in the ground.
-
Look there you have what is yours?
-
Take it in all The one with one talent claimed
-
to be fully knowledgeable of his master. He claimed to
-
know who God was. He was a severe miscalculation. Okay, severe.
-
Do not miscalculate your relationship with God. Who, yes, do
-
not miscalculate ten minutes I'm doing okay, ah, do not
-
miscalculate your relationship with God. Many of us think one
-
safe always say it's a miscalculation.
-
If we live like that and we think we're gonna.
-
Enter into the joy of the Lord, it's a miscalculation.
-
I'm here to tell you today. Don't miscalculate. I do
-
believe once they've always saved her. By the way I
-
believe that. I believe there's only one person who can
-
give up.
-
Salvation. That's me, myself. As far as God is concerned,
-
I'm safe.
-
But you see, for me to give up my salvation
-
is for me to miscalculate my relationship with me. I've miscalculated.
-
Don't for a minuting God is us a don't for
-
a menting. God thinks like us. If you want to
-
have a thought, start thinking like God. Do not think
-
God thinks like us.
-
He knew you to be. He says you're a hard man.
-
You know this word is scallous. His word is scaled
-
us hard or tough.
-
Hush He thinks God is hush. He thinks God is
-
severe is Yes, he's hard.
-
To me.
-
You know this is like have you been in Singapore
-
ho pabula? How many have you been a hop papular
-
in Singapore? You know when it is? You know the
-
old ones may know it. Have you been on a
-
when there one's a horrible place? They show you all
-
the different versions of hell, all the different tortures and
-
stuff that goes on in hell, and that's what those
-
people think God is like. No, that is what the
-
devil is like. Do not think God is like the devil.
-
He's not. You know, if God is.
-
Long suffering and you say he's hard and passion, what
-
are we doing. We are miscalculating God again. That's what
-
this person called God. We are accusing God of something
-
he is not.
-
He loves us.
-
Does that mean because he loves us, he will not
-
send us away. No, you send yourself away because you
-
do not allow him to say those words.
-
Enter into my joy to me.
-
His statement reflects his contempt of God. He basically accused
-
God of being unjust, and rather than face that, just
-
return of the talent to God. I do not need you,
-
nor do I want to work for you. I will
-
not work with you. I will not serve. I will
-
not be a host. I will not serve in express
-
So I will not shake somebody's hand and welcome them
-
into the house of the Lord. I played the guitar,
-
I will not do it for the glory of God.
-
Leave me alone, you understand. Don't get me wrong. I
-
know we're tired. You mean to say I'm not tired.
-
I wake up in the morning with eggs from my
-
head to my toast. I am in pain all the time.
-
Oh why doesn't God hear you?
-
Well?
-
At this stage of my life, I'm more interested in
-
showing God that I'm still alive in Him despite these pains.
-
You see there things They are deeper things. And the
-
higher and deeper things go beyond our feelings. They go
-
beyond our likes and dislikes. These are deeper things. If
-
we're looking for the Lord to say, enter into my
-
my joy, you better believe my knee had better not
-
stop me from praising the Lord.
-
Well, for the sake of my.
-
Knee, I go away from the joy of the Lord.
-
I think the Chinese was shaw. No, I don't want
-
to be like that. Not to do what God has
-
given us talents to do equates to wickedness.
-
I didn't say it. He did.
-
When God gives us a talent and we do not
-
use it, the Bible says this is wickedness. So now
-
as we go into this deeper understanding, don't tell me
-
God is everywhere. Don't tell me what I already know.
-
God is everywhere. Don't tell me God is in every church.
-
I know God is in every church. You want to
-
tell me something, Tell me I serve. I may be
-
living here, but I will serve there. If you cannot
-
say you're serving in any place that you call your church,
-
and you're just going there to eat and get fat,
-
you may just have a spiritual heart attack. Work those
-
muscles spiritually. It also means a hurtful and evil added
-
you wicked. You're lazy and wicked serve and it also
-
means these words are hurtful, evil calamitists you know, as
-
calamitists are always in trouble. Diseased who You're a diseased person.
-
He is how God looks at you. When you don't
-
do what He tells you to do. You look, you
-
look to him as diseased. Culpable, you know, culpable homicide.
-
It means you are responsible. Also huh, derelict, vicious, atrocious, atrocious, mischief, malice.
-
You look, you give God the look of guilt. Oh,
-
this one you won't like. You look like the devil.
-
That's what this word means. You look like the devil,
-
sinners your influence.
-
Lazy.
-
The word lazy comes from the word achmeros MirOS sounds
-
very much cling on ochnros means to hesitate me, taddy, tardy,
-
where you come later? Hey, carefula taddy, Same word as wicked,
-
same word as lazy. Applying to who the one who
-
did not get into the joy of the Lord ognoros
-
reluctant your attitude. You're slotful, you're unambitious, disinterested. Ah, but
-
God is kind, Never for a minute thing God is
-
not kind?
-
Whoa God? You're so hard?
-
Don't be like that joker. Don't be like that joker,
-
but be like this. In verse twenty seven, it says,
-
so you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers,
-
and at my coming I would receive my own back
-
with interest. I thought about this, Well, Lord, what is
-
this money in the bankers? What is this interest? There
-
is always something we can do, Always something we can do,
-
however small it might be. It is a forward step
-
that grows. I give you an example. Tell them about myself.
-
I'll talk about myself. I've been forty seven years in
-
the Lord. I have and more life as a believer
-
that some of you are.
-
Even alive, all right. During that time I have.
-
Witnessed, I have shared, I brought people to the Lord,
-
I prayed for the sick. I have seen demons. I've
-
seen possessed people delivered from demons. I have been punched
-
in the face, I have been ostracized by my family,
-
cut off, I have been ridiculed. I've had all these
-
things happen in forty seven years. And now I come
-
to church and not some, but all my leaders are
-
younger than me. Oh, from the top right down, every
-
one of these leaders, they are younger than.
-
Oh.
-
Zero mean, it's remaining. Some are saying, praise the Lord.
-
I can't take this anymore. I'm finishing soon, all right.
-
I have to do what the Lord tells me to do.
-
And yet all my leaders, all of them, are younger
-
than me. When they come and ask me to do something.
-
Have anyone of you ever here? What are you talking?
-
You know better?
-
I know better? Who are you to tell me what
-
to do? Have you ever heard me? In fact? What
-
do I say? Okay?
-
I may registered disagreement sometimes, which is normal. You allow
-
even Lord allows you to disagree. No, but you know
-
what you got to follow it up with? You know what,
-
just plain obedience. You don't have to agree, but you
-
have to do. Why is the Lord continuous continued bless
-
us and amiable in myself. Why we shouldn't be here,
-
but we are because the Lord's involved. It's money in
-
the bank, it's interest.
-
Some of you are.
-
The Lord has called you to be up here to
-
worship the Lord with music and song, but you don't
-
want to do it. Will you at least be a host?
-
You know what that is? Money in the bank.
-
Will you at least and shake somebody's hand and welcome
-
them in. Will you go and talk to someone and say,
-
do you know Jesus, can I be of help you?
-
Money in the bank? Money in the bank.
-
So at least when the Lord comes back, you do
-
not say, here's your money. Say Lord, you gave me talents,
-
I didn't use it. Forgive me lot, but I did
-
put some money in the bank, and here's some interests.
-
Well done, my good servant, faithful may not be there.
-
You made it into my joy by the skin of
-
your teeth. Maybe you'll hear that from the Lord. But certainly,
-
because if I read the scripture says that he will
-
not say, depart from me, because you say, at least
-
I would have received something. The trench is full of
-
people earning interest, true or not. Don't be interested earnes
-
go from servants to rulers. Okay, so take the talent
-
from him.
-
You don't serve the Lord, you lose.
-
Everything, you know, So take the talent from him and
-
give it to him who has talents. And yeah, I'll
-
be ending, so relaxed. Don't lose everything. That only happens
-
when we do nothing. You know, when we do nothing,
-
we lose everything. We lose everything when we do nothing.
-
It's the master's house. It's the Master's house. He gives
-
talents to servants, not visitors. If you serve in the
-
house of the Lord, he gives you talents. If you
-
come to have a quit your message, that's all you
-
will get. Because you have made God your servant. Do
-
not make God your servant. Visitors who keep going to
-
one church to another take God as a cook. Go
-
to these restaurants called church to sample the cuisine or
-
the word. The ideas are tickled with the good food.
-
But they will not trade the talents God has given them,
-
nor will they serve God in any capacity to give
-
God interest. They want to come in and leave. What
-
a dangerous place to be. For to everyone who has
-
more will be given, more will be given and he
-
who and he will have in abundance. But from him
-
who does not have, even what he has will be
-
taken away. And this is why I say this passage
-
refers to God, because it says, and cast the unprofitable
-
servant into the outer darkness, there will be weeping and
-
gnashing of teeth. Who is the one where has the
-
authority to do that?
-
God? And God alone? Are you faithful? God wants to
-
give you more.
-
Remember He did not take back the money from his servants,
-
but ask them into his home. Come in if you
-
want to remain lazies. He not only does God strip
-
you of what you have, the last verse says he
-
won't have anything to do with you. Oo. Revival comes
-
with having the right attitude and devotion to do what
-
the Lord has called us to do. It all starts
-
the praise the Lord. I have given God my one
-
talent for today.
