You're listening to a message to go from axt church.
-
We hope this message will light up your tea.
-
Why revival? Okay? So what happened to all the past
-
revivals that you and I have read about all over
-
the world, The move of God, the impact of lives,
-
society transformed, and the amazing impact that has helped families
-
know only the reconcile, become very passionate for themselves and
-
for God. We praise the love for that. And in
-
Malaysia we also did have a number of places where
-
there was a revival that had happened, which I would
-
share with you later on about some place that I've
-
been that would encourage you and I pray that would
-
spur you to do what the law wants you to do.
-
In the in the seventies, the Burrial revival, the Bakalalan revival,
-
h the tag Nabo, those of you from Sabah taken Abo.
-
There was an amazing move of God's spirit there and
-
also in Sitiawan, over in Para Side and in a
-
number of places that pockets and pockets of revival. Why
-
would all these things happen? You know, when we think
-
about what God is doing in different places. Why revival
-
would take place in all these places? And how is it?
-
What are the some of the keynotes that we need
-
to understand so that we would know what it means
-
to really come together and seek the Lord and ask
-
him to do there Some of you remember, I think
-
with two three years ago? Was it before COVID? I
-
can't remember now. The Ashbury Revival something like about sixteen
-
days young people, you know, munisity students all meeting and
-
praying and worshiping NonStop, twenty four the whole time, and
-
a lot of people just lining up to come and
-
seek the presence of the Lord. What does that mean?
-
Is that what we want to see? Is that? Is
-
that the visible thing that we were talking about? Uh?
-
You know, it seems like I met quite a number
-
of people who are post pastors now and leaders in
-
the in the world. They're all part of this Jesus
-
movement revolution. Yeah, and a lot of them. There's all
-
a hippies, drug headaches, et cetera. All turn around and
-
now become effective for the Lord. But then you see
-
there's always a climax. It seems like there is always
-
ah descending kind of situation. The revival is not sustained.
-
Maybe they've lost bookers and UH. And I think that
-
your texts UH from UH from Habacok chapter two, chapter three,
-
verse to UH says it, let me read it. I
-
read the UH, the the New Living Testament, UH, rendering them.
-
I have heard about you, Lord. I'm feeled with all
-
by your amazing word wow. And this time of our
-
need in in our knee, help us or revive us
-
again as you did in years gone by, and in
-
your anger, because we have seen against you in your anger,
-
because we have lost boocus. In your anger, we seem
-
to concentrate on the revival and not you, Lord, remember
-
us with mercy. In some eighty five or six it
-
says like this, will you not revive us again? That
-
your people may rejoice in you? Yeah? Yeah, so that
-
says the thing. There's some recently where dear friend of
-
mine who passed away, and I was texting the wife.
-
I said, you know, I just want to say that
-
you know this, this this risk wrings in my heart.
-
It says in your presence in some succeed verse eleven,
-
in your presence there is fullness of joy. Do you
-
know where your husband has gone to? She he is
-
now in the fullness of joy, which I envy him
-
that he's there. And so that's how we we we
-
connect most of the time. You know, I like this
-
guy because he says, hey, uh, passport, when are you
-
going to change address? I said, So, what do you
-
mean by that? He said, oh, from your from your
-
what do you call it? Temporary address? To your permanent address?
-
And how many of you have this kind of thoughts out?
-
It's good, good to have these thoughts. Then you realize
-
that you have a permanent place somewhere. That's what Jesus said,
-
is it? In John said the fourteen He said, letting
-
on your hearty trouble, you believe in God, believe also
-
in me in my father's house. That are many mentions.
-
If you were not so, I would not have told you.
-
Jesus told his disciples. And then he says, you know
-
where I would prepare pray for you, and where where
-
I I'll come again and bring you to myself. So
-
there's a permanent addresser. Okay, that's why Thomas Thomas couldn't
-
understand all the time. Very yeah, he said, But if
-
he if Thomas would live today, he said, but how
-
do we go there? We don't have gps MA. But
-
you know, the Lord says on the way we say that.
-
Just now I'm the truth and I'm alive. All right.
-
All who come to me must come through, come to
-
the Father, must come to me. Amen, Praise the Lord.
-
So today I was thinking, how do I share with
-
the church revive? Yeah, but you know, I don't know
-
what what is the state and condition of your church?
-
But it's okay ah ah, because we're always talking the
-
other church, but this is a church. Hey, when you
-
point something, three fingers point to yourself. No. So I
-
would tell Bible stories. I'm not sure where the the
-
children will understand my Bible stories. By trust you catch
-
some truth, catch some points for revival. Ex Church, God
-
wants to revive you. Amen. So if you, if you
-
in your in your home group, maybe it's good to
-
just look through some of these old tuta men kind
-
of situation where we can glimpse certain kind of a
-
truth from all these places. I want to share with
-
you from first Semel Chapter one to four. Not I'm
-
not going to read the scripture references and on. It's
-
just for you to make note to follow what I'm
-
trying to say. What the Lord has put up my heart.
-
It is about reality, it's about spirit condition of God's people.
-
Even as we read in chapter one, in chapter one,
-
there is a woman by the name of Hannah, and
-
she was a desperate wife, desperate woman. She was being
-
looked down upon because she couldn't give any give birth
-
to any any child. She was being goaded all the
-
time by society and by the first wife of Elkanah.
-
But Kinna said, you know, look, I really love you,
-
and so on. That's not good enough because there's something
-
that needs to rebirth from her heart and on. And
-
the Lord answered the prayer. And if you read in
-
chapter one when the Lord answered the prayer, wow, But
-
you see the way she prayed in chapter one, would
-
would also help you to understand why revival must take
-
place when there is a desperate cry and prayer to
-
the Lord. She she cried, she prayed bitterly, She prayed
-
with great sense of depth, no crying. We said, just now,
-
we want to dive deeper, dive deeper, dive deeper. And
-
that's what she did. And even she was misunderstood by Eli,
-
the high priest. You said, are you drunk so too
-
early to get drunk. You see, you don't know what
-
I'm talking about me be if she's quite witty, she say,
-
I'm drunk in the Lord. But that's what Paul says
-
that ah ah, do not be drunk with wine. What
-
is it? Be filled with the Holy Spirit. That's what
-
it means by being drunk in the Holy Spirit, because
-
when you're drunk the spirit you see when you are drunk.
-
When you're drunk because of alcohol, alcohol becomes king. No,
-
and so you don't know what you're talking about. Yeah,
-
some of you. Maybe you look at my size when
-
you think do I do I really play this game?
-
I play Rubby? You know, so yeah, I represented a
-
slangonna stay before. But you know when I see all
-
this basally after the game, drinking, drinking until all Then
-
they challenge me, He said why don't drink? I said, no,
-
I cannot. You know why I cannot because there's somebody
-
I need to be the person bringing you home. You
-
cannot drive, you know, Yeah, I saw I will be
-
your driver, and so so to be. She was so
-
pretty and the Lord heard a cry. And there's something
-
that we need to grasp when we talk about revival.
-
It has something to do with your be longing and
-
your desire to see God unswering the depths of your heart.
-
And and she when when when she received, when she
-
conceived Samuel, and she said, Samuel. The name Samuel means
-
it is what because this is what I asked the
-
Lord for. And I know that in her desperation, that's
-
what happened. And because of that, you know, but God's
-
plans unnoticed, because who is Samuels not just a baby
-
or name. By the time she was he was ready
-
to be in the temple. He was She offered Samuel. See,
-
when we talk about revival has to do with sacrifice,
-
has to do with giving, is to do with giving
-
of yourself. And the most precious person that she asked
-
of the Lord was given to the Lord to serve
-
in the temple. You know, the state of affairs during
-
the time of the of of what you call it,
-
the the condition of the children of visual rights and
-
so on, it is very very small and very uh.
-
You we like to say, uh, somehow things are not
-
right and uh and people seem to exhibit and that's
-
one of the things that the law wants to say
-
to you and to me. If things are not right
-
we don't address it. You got a problem. Yeah, So
-
that's why. That's why when when Samuel's put there children
-
a small boy learning from Eli. Yeah, he's a he's
-
a new bee, but he Eli is an old b Yeah.
-
And the old being you know what it does you
-
read incepret three. He is always in his usual place
-
in except one sorry first cemeter the tree verse one. Yeah,
-
and and the scripture tells us in that time of Eli,
-
there was hardly any vision. The word of the Lord
-
was rare. In other words, the connection is not there.
-
A lot of time situations like this, even in your
-
own life, in your family, in the in the community
-
that you're part of, in this church and so on,
-
things are not happening. It's like what a good friend
-
of mine keeps saying. He said, you know, it's same old,
-
same old things, same thing, same thing, until it is
-
same old Yeah. And so that's what happened Eli. But
-
you know, you're so good. God's plan is to read
-
to enable sam or to know the presence of the Lord,
-
and the scripture tells us in verse two, he says,
-
even though Eli was in his usual place, he's not
-
in the temple. Samuel was lying in the temple beside
-
the arc of the Lord. And that's something that you
-
and I need to grasp when you talk about revival,
-
is about the presence of the Lord. So am I
-
in the presence of the Lord? Oh am I going
-
all places? Yeah, and and and this, Yeah, this is
-
my work. This is my ministry. Sorry, it's not your ministry.
-
Is the lots of ministry? Yeah, okay, So that's why
-
in Hiperca, I observe your work. It is your work,
-
it's not my work. And because it is your work,
-
something is gonna happen because you are going to do that.
-
All right. It seems like in the samar No life
-
zone with Eli, there is all complacent, this neglect since
-
not address allowed to carry on. If you read in
-
chapter three, yeah, chapter three, his sons were were terrible,
-
wicked sons and so on. They dishonored the Lord in
-
so many ways, and yet Eli didn't do anything. He
-
just asked him why you do all this? Why you
-
do all this? Yeah? But he didn't do anything, and
-
the Lord's judgment was upon her. So if you see
-
the scenario like this, yeah, could there be a reviver? Yeah,
-
there could be if things were being addressed. But you
-
know they went into battle. You read in chapter four
-
and when they were into battle the loss and they said, oh,
-
maybe it's a good idea, Hopney and finnhas these are
-
the two guys who disgraces their father Eli, and they said,
-
let's take the ark of covenant, be goot powerful, bring
-
the presence of the Lord. And true, yeah, the first
-
thing's all got frightened. But the Lord was not going
-
to vindicate these two guys, and a lot of them
-
if you read in the scriptures of something like oh
-
thirty thousand of them lost their lives and so on.
-
And one guy always could come back and tell Eli Eli, Eli,
-
something has happened. Something has happened. What happened? He said,
-
both the sons are cure. Or besides that, what happened?
-
The ark has been stolen? Wow, that's way. What about
-
the presence of the Lord in you? Has it been stolen?
-
So when you talk about revival, is there the presence
-
of the Lord, Because if there's a powerful presence of
-
the Lord, people will notice. If there's a very powerful
-
presence of the Lord, people will be impacted by it.
-
I ask you, is that so for you? As you
-
pick up all the things. And you know when when
-
he was told that your two sons of kid, but
-
the art was stolen. You know, he was in his
-
usual place in where no in his rocking chair. Yeah,
-
he says that, and then he fell back and broke
-
his neck and he died. And that triggered the daughter
-
in law was pregnant and going to give birth, and
-
they said, oh, name name since this guy's name if
-
Eli said, no way, no way. You know why he
-
named she said, give the name to this boy Cabod.
-
And the word I cabod in Hebrew means no more glory.
-
The glory of the Lord has been taken away. So
-
he said, in many places that I've been to, it
-
seems like at once was something that's happening. But people
-
so that there will be since an address, there will
-
be things that are covered. A lot of people look
-
so good and well. Yeah, and uh so when I
-
asked them, are you in the welldem in the well?
-
I said, sorry, I don't seem to sense it, you know, yeah,
-
because the impact of the presence of God must be there.
-
And and that's why there's no impact of the presence
-
of God. Yeah, And that's why God raised Samuel. So
-
if you read Actually to the Tree, the Beginnings of
-
Learning to hear God. Yeah, because because uh Samy was
-
such an obedient boy and he heard one day he
-
heard his name and suddenly he thought Eli was calling.
-
Yes I'm here. No, No, I did call you a
-
hob he he got, he got no coma go get
-
track all. Yeah, because that's what the scripture says. He
-
couldn't see, you know, he couldn't see, probably not only
-
with his fiscal eyes, with his spiritual eyes. So he said, no,
-
I didn't call you. Secondy Again, No I didn't call you.
-
Third time, No, I didn't call you. Then he realized
-
that's about the best thing that Eli did for Samuel.
-
He said, the next time, when you hear this, say
-
speak Lord. Your servant is listening. I'm asking you to
-
this morning, when you hear the voice of God, are
-
you saying, speak Lord, I'm listening, because that's what revival
-
is all about. Because God will impart to you word
-
upon word, precept upon precept. Are you listening, because if
-
you're listening, that's what it is, and so on. You know,
-
the glory has left, but God still speaks to those
-
whose hearts are drawing clothes in And where was Samuel.
-
He was lying in the temple near the ark of Coveny,
-
near the presence of the Lord, even though later on
-
the ark would have been taken away. That's many other
-
different stories you read. You that it's an exciting time,
-
but you know that's what happened. I want to bring
-
to you that when Samuel heard the Lord and the
-
Lord spoke to him, the scripture tells us in the
-
same chapter that from then on, whatever Samuel spoke, no
-
word dropped to the crown. In other words, so powerful,
-
so accurate, so to the point. And that's what the
-
Lord wants to do in the in the sense when
-
there's a revolver movement, God will speak, and when he speaks,
-
you listen. And when you listen, you know that we
-
can move on. You know, for forty years. The children
-
of Israel life, this is the next story. You all
-
know this story. And they wondered in the wilderness. They complain, complain, complain,
-
because why they're all very egib Yeah, the Egypt already
-
inside them. Yeah, so how to take away to Egypt? Yeah,
-
So a lot of times we have the world still
-
inside us. Yeah, And that's why Jesus prayed in John
-
Tapter seventeen. You know, I pray that you do not
-
take them out of this world, but you will protect them.
-
You protect them because why they are still here doing
-
what you want them to do as you send me
-
on a mission. So I want to pray, pray that
-
this is something that you would begin to understand. And
-
so they were all in the wilderness for forty years.
-
Miracles happened, pillow club, pillow fire, this and then and
-
so on, and their shoes on every one. Now, no,
-
can you imagine that forty years shoes never worn out? Cloth,
-
no need to change one. Whah, I don't know how
-
how forty years wear the same thing? Uh? Yeah, today
-
I see all way more bad bad bagosh. So so
-
it is like this so this way himself is a miracle.
-
And then when when I say we we we won,
-
we won? Uh food food came from heaven? Mana, they
-
are mana? You know what's a mini of manna? What's this?
-
Why is this? It means? Why is this? Are so
-
you gotta beig curass lord when you move? What is this? Yeah,
-
because it's going to provide for you? And so on
-
and you say, we need meat. All meat came quails,
-
all games on until they eat until almost h w
-
people eat Durians right la and gos sick. Yeah. Yeah,
-
so so that's why when when when, when all these
-
things happen? When they need water, water was given to them,
-
et cetera. And yet you read in Some one zero
-
six there's account of them wandering to the wilderness, and
-
there at least three times it is said they did
-
not remember the kindness of the Lord. They did not
-
remember in verse seven, verse verse thirteen. I think they
-
forgot all that the Lord has done for them. Yeah,
-
and that was twenty one or so. And many many
-
times they wasted. They were wasted in their own sin.
-
Let's move for it. It is an old testament. There's
-
also a new testament. The last week of Jesus' life.
-
You all just celebrated resurrection Sunday. Yeah, And yet the
-
run up to the resurrection Sunday was something that was
-
so impactful. He started with Jesus in John recording for
-
us in John to be twelve, Jesus was telling them,
-
or what is to come? You know, I didn't just come.
-
There is an outcome of my mission here that's why
-
when when he said to the to the disciples, because
-
they asked, you know, what food are you gonna eat?
-
He said, my food, the food that I eat. You
-
don't understand. And so in John four thirty four he says,
-
my food is to do the will of him who
-
sent me, and to finish it. And that's what he did.
-
And the cross, he says, it is finished. Yeah, that's
-
that's how how as we cross what what what? What
-
the word of God is spoken will be fulfilled. That's
-
why Jesus said, I didn't come to abolish the law.
-
I come to fulfill it. And the Jews themselves couldn't
-
understand how this is possible, except step by step by
-
scriptures he took that donkey writing in they all said, oh,
-
this is our savior, this is our redeemer. This is
-
the one who's gonna take us uh and and and
-
get rid of all the Romans and so on. They
-
lost focused. They didn't understand who Jesus is. So he
-
is a king blessed, is a king that comes in
-
the name of the Lord. So it started with there.
-
And then when he said in chapter twelve, or John
-
in chapter twelve or Study two he says, if I'm
-
lifted up, I would draw all men to myself. They
-
didn't understand that, because Jesus is going to be crucified
-
and say, as we move move on. In chapter twelve,
-
Chapter thirteen, he says, in verse one, Jesus saw that
-
he was going to leave them, and he loved them
-
to the full extent. In other words, he loved them completely.
-
And how did he show his love? He showed his
-
love by washing the feet. He washed the feet the
-
person who is going to betray him. The wash the
-
feet of these person who's gonna deny him. He washed
-
the feet of those we're gonna run chabled in as
-
recorded for us, he Matthew twenty six firty six. I
-
want to bring that scenario to you. And so why
-
because there's so much high hopes about Jesus. Just like
-
the two guys who were working on the road to
-
the emails, he said, we had hope is a wrong expectation.
-
And a lot of times when we want revival, we
-
have wrong expectations. We say we want to see the
-
movement or we don't see God in it. We haven't
-
seen God in it, and that's why there's problem a
-
lot of times. Why there's a climax, and yet they
-
have lost focus. So there's something that we need to learn.
-
And Jesus talk about the resurrection, and when you talk
-
about the resurrection, you know these people couldn't understand him
-
initially when Lazarus was raised. In chapter eleven, exciting things
-
in Jesus tell mother, I am the resurrection in the
-
life those who believe in me, though they die, yet
-
shall he live? And in verse twenty six, those who
-
believe in me shall never die. But the question that's
-
not the end. He says, do you believe this? At
-
our times we only pay lip service to what is said.
-
We do not believe it. That's why Jesus keep asking
-
do you believe this? In March of the nine, verse
-
twenty three, he told this man who brought his son, Yeah,
-
who was who is this? A deaf and damn spirit
-
in him? And he says, you know, do you believe?
-
He says, help my unbelief, because Jesus said in verse
-
twenty three of chapter nine, he says everything is possible
-
to those who believe. And that's why they were still
-
very puzzled. They were already challenged. You will you must
-
remain in me and I remain in you. There were challenged,
-
I'm going to come and take you with me. I'm there, challenge,
-
it's so many Chapter fourteen of John, Chapter fifteen and
-
chapter sixteen told them the Holy Spirit is going to come.
-
But you know, when Jesus was arrested, everything ran out
-
of the window. Where are you Jesus? And a lot
-
of times in our desperation we asked that question. Two
-
And when we ask that question, it's not because he's
-
not there. You don't know. He had lost touch with him.
-
I like this guy who whom I met in prison
-
and ask him why do you do what he did?
-
And what do you do? He said kidnapping? I said
-
he deserved to be here? He said, yes, I deserve
-
to be here. I said, so, I said were you when?
-
Were you Christian? And me? He said, were you a
-
Christian when you do a kidnapping? He say yes? I said,
-
wh why you do that? Man? How can you do that?
-
He said? And what he said to me was very
-
very bretinent, because I've long left the Lord. He spoke
-
to me in Chinese or hunt you. That's why I'm
-
in darkness, That's why I do the works of darkness.
-
Now you understand where are you Jesus? But you're still
-
in darkness. Where are you, Jesus? What do you still do?
-
Cannot see? And light shines brightest in the darkness of places.
-
And this is a guy who taught me something that
-
the the the prisoner. He said, you know, yeah, it's true.
-
I was outside in darkness, but now I'm in the prison.
-
I'm in the light. I say, I say, don't talk nonsense.
-
You are in the prison, man, I'm not in a prison.
-
How can I be Yeah, I'm outside in the line
-
or so. I say, yeah. And then I promise him
-
and I have said this before, It's okay to depeat. Yeah,
-
because I'm already eight years old. I yeah, I can
-
repeat many things. So he says, you know fast, you listen.
-
I say, okay, I will listen. He says light does
-
not depend on the absence of darkness, but darkness depends
-
on the absence of light. When he first told me that,
-
I say, see again. I I don't quite grasp it.
-
You know, I say again, light does not depend on
-
the absence of darkness, but darkness depends on the absence
-
of light. That's why I don't have that line. I'm outside,
-
I do bad things. Law Now in the prison I
-
do good things. Are I said, what good things you do?
-
I pray for all my friends. Now, yeah, I pray
-
that you'll come to know the Lord. So anyone came
-
to know the Lord? Yes, because I'm in the light.
-
They see. It changed my life. You want to talk
-
about revival is about transformation. That that's why Paul says
-
in Romans twelve, verse two, he says, you know, do
-
not becomeformed to the patterns of this world, but be
-
transformed by the renewing of your mind. And when your
-
mind is renewed, Wow, something is gonna happen. So so
-
as you, as you begin to grasp this with these disciples.
-
Even when Jesus resurrected in Monch of the sixteen, verse eleven,
-
when the women came to tell them, he said, ah,
-
this is not all women's nonsense. Cannot be mah. Yeah,
-
you read that in March chapter sixteen, verse eleven, or
-
in Real chapter twenty four, verse ten eleven. He says
-
that the women came didn't believe. They didn't believe. Yeah,
-
that's why he's so good. Jesus asked this question to
-
Master and to you also to me, also do you
-
believe this? I like the way somebody put it this way.
-
If you believe Jesus's reason, do not live as if
-
he's dead. Come on, is your live? He's real lived.
-
We will declared that just now, and I were saying,
-
just now, don't just sing come on. That's what it
-
means my spirit and truth. And I want to pray
-
that this is something that you need to focus and
-
so on. And as they didn't believe, then even the
-
guy who who who said I don't have the gps A,
-
he says, no, I didn't see him. Until I see him,
-
I won't believe. This is in John chapter twenty, verse
-
twenty five. Feel the doubts, fear, all kinds of sense
-
of hope, withness, lost expectation. A lot of times you
-
come into their concentration, but didn't Jesus tuk them unts
-
in such a way. And yet the real thing that happened,
-
the whole scenario. A lot of times when the real
-
thing happens, we don't see because why we are just
-
like Peter, when Jesus was walking in the water and
-
invited him to come come on, he did he look
-
at Jesus, he walk on the water, but when you
-
look at the waves, he fell inside. And the shortest
-
prayer is Lord saved me and the Lord saved him.
-
I want to share this with you because when you
-
talk about revival, it is when when Hypocrits says, I
-
heard We need a fresh word from the Lord to
-
say that, yes, I heard you, Lord, I heard you.
-
Now what are you going to do? All right? And
-
he says, I'm in awe of you? Wow, they're the
-
word in other versions says I fear. I'm afraid. It's
-
not afraid meaning you're so tuck good until you've going
-
to hide yourself. I'm afraid because why, Wow, I'm just
-
rismerized by your present. I'm musimerized by what you say
-
to me. Yeah, it's just like Samuel hearing the world,
-
hearing God speaking to him and wondering whether and when
-
did the Lord spoke to him? And he says, speak
-
yourself and listen. The Lord downloaded so amazing things to him.
-
This is what God wants to do, even for these days.
-
And we all know that in except one something happened.
-
Except the one verse two, verse three, verse four. He
-
says like this, Jesus went about proving to all those
-
who came to see him that he's alive. He spent
-
forty days doing revision costs, because all forgternity, all all fossilized,
-
fossilized by doubts, fossilize of fear, fossilized by all kinds
-
of hopeless situations. Come on, raise up in hope, Jesus
-
will tell them, and so on. That's why he walk
-
with the two guys from Jerusalem to Ymaeus and explain,
-
and what did What did they say? He said, when Jesus,
-
After Jesus did what he did and broke bread. And
-
then they say, this is Jesus too lately. Yeah, but
-
they recognized Jesus, and this is what they said. He says,
-
we're not our hearts burning revivals, fire burning. If that's
-
what it is, then I say to you actuals. Come on, yeah,
-
be on fire for the Lord. Okay. So the Lord
-
told them. In verse five of chapter one acts, he says,
-
wait in Jerusalem, because the Father's gift is about to
-
be given. We sang this now, Holy spirit fall, Holy
-
Spirit fall? Are you serious about it? When it falls?
-
You don't know what's happening when he falls. I've seen
-
literally what happened in a group of Bangladeshi people. I
-
was talking to them and said, we're talking about the
-
Holy Spirit, and said, Lord, you come, you come, and
-
all of them was so prepared vessels. I was shocked
-
because they were not shocked. Because all of them start
-
holding down all the whole hour. I only wish I
-
could show their picture and so on. The whole house
-
is all line out, but the next one now all
-
lying down. I said, Lord, what's going on? You shut up?
-
You don't know what you're talking about. You just see,
-
just see and hear. And when I and now before
-
the Lord, I cried and cried, cried. After one hour,
-
one by one day lifted up, they got up and
-
so on. I said, what the cod say to you? Wow,
-
amazing things men on. It was never the sain again.
-
You know why? Because they heard the word, they were
-
touched by the spirit and they move on. That's what
-
it should be all the time when we talk about revival.
-
So what happened while waiting the ten days? In except
-
one verse fourteen, what does he say? Regularly? They met,
-
They met women, children, a doubts, old people, all those
-
who cannot walk. Also, there are yeah, a lot of Dixes.
-
What were they doing? They were seeking the Lord and
-
revival has got to do is seeking the Lord. And
-
I pray that this is what you'll be seeking the Lord.
-
Seek the Lord while he may be found, call upon
-
him while he's near. And he's so near. They didn't
-
even because Jesus told him, yeah, you wait here, you
-
wait here, So wait doesn't mean don't do anything. Wait
-
means do something actively by seeking the Lord and so on.
-
But there was something among them that needed to be
-
that way, because every time they look at all the
-
apostles that Jesus appointed at one shot down and it
-
reminded them of Judas, reminded them of betrayal, redeminded them
-
of Pangianak. And how do we get rid of this?
-
Be placed with someone, And that's what they did with Matthias,
-
and the betrayaled spear was cleared Chapter one, chapter two.
-
As they were worshiping lots more worshiping, seeking the Lord,
-
waiting for the Lord. What happened? The horl is beak
-
came down when the rules became Now that on the
-
day of Pentecosts. What happened. They could hear sound wind,
-
they could see frames of tongues of fire, and they
-
could speak. They spoken tongues. So there was your sight
-
and there was also speech. Wow, and all those around
-
Suddenly this coward guy who who sway by heaven by
-
earth that he will be with Jesus, and he ran away.
-
He denied Jesus three times, stood up with the rest
-
of the disciples and addressed a big group of people. There.
-
Can you mention that's what unusual happenings will take place?
-
In twenty twenty four, I was with the pan people
-
in long Kabok in Barham. I've heard about Panan's before.
-
I've ministered to them before, and they're all malu malu
-
no ni banu bahlou you know. When I try to
-
get nearer to talk to them and so on, they
-
all yes. So they are so what they call it
-
of low self esteem because that's how they are looking
-
upon because they are nomadic people and so on. Can
-
God do something like this among them? I don't know.
-
A lot of people have been praying, and so from
-
among them a whole group have been praying. Not only
-
that they were fighting each other compound against campong. They
-
were sometimes killing each other. Many things are happening, but
-
you see and not really that is the most unhygienic places,
-
if they are in a campound. All right. I remember
-
the yb who was there at the place where I
-
was with him. He said, you know something has changed here.
-
I said, what do you mean? When I come here,
-
I have to avoid and look and look down because
-
everywhere there's a lot of you know, fysis or not
-
only dog physis, human physis. It's so unhygienic. People are
-
sick here and so on, and they're all very unkemp.
-
They're not used to doing that. He said, But today
-
I don't see the dogs around. They didn't kill the dogs.
-
I don't see any all the phyces around, not even
-
human phyces. Wow, the amashey is so amazing. Can you
-
imagine a thousand Banan people for forty different compounds met together.
-
Some came one one whole day, riding from Limbang all
-
the way four on the motorbile in Timber Road and
-
coming down just to hunger for the word of God.
-
And when I saw them, Wow, it was a different
-
kind of pananda I've seen, because it seems like no
-
I didn't see hello, but I saw the sense of
-
the presence of the Lord in them. I want to
-
tell you, you see this, this is what it is.
-
So then I asked them what happened. He said, we
-
have been praying and then the Lord has been moving
-
in a compound. I said, tell me about more stories.
-
And this is what is it. You know, when we're
-
praying and worshiping with NonStop almost every day, every day,
-
every day they're having you know, at nine, you know, intercession.
-
They go out, work, come back, pray and so on.
-
He said, Then we saw people along the road. They
-
are not believers. They fell down. They cried, and they
-
cried why because they're so affected by what the Lord
-
has done. And they move and he said, tell us
-
what to do, tell us what to do. And they
-
handed up all the amulets and all the giman and
-
all that kind of thing, and to be purned. Deliverance
-
took place, healing took place, Miracles took place. But that's
-
not all. At that point in time, a lot of them.
-
At the foot of the of the slope, we were
-
meeting the colleague God book it sorry. And then as
-
you were meeting and so on, suddenly there was a
-
word of the Lord Ah and then and then people
-
all between all the two come from all hugging each other, crying,
-
asking for forgiveness, repenting, and so on. That's one of
-
the key things that happened. And that's the first thing
-
that Peter said to the people who heard her message
-
of Atpedicause, what must we do in accept the two
-
verse thirty seven? What must we do? And he said,
-
repent and be baptized and receive the forgiveness of sin
-
and the gift of the Holy Spirit. There's something that
-
that that that seemed to be like the patent in
-
the revival, that the repentance must take place because you've
-
heard the Lord. Repentance must take place because the Lord
-
has convicted them. Repentance must take place because you long
-
for the holiness and the presence of the Lord, and
-
so on. And that's why being baptized as a witness.
-
Baptized is just a declaration of the witness that you've
-
seen in your life has happened. Yeah, I like the
-
way this oracy when I went to his compound, uh
-
some somewhere in the hall he We have visited the
-
place a number of times with the Then one day
-
he said, Hani mas ayah. I said, I said, uh, mama,
-
sort of patiosus Mama so aa, I said, oh my,
-
so i of baptism. Okay, yeah, a bit a bit,
-
a bit blur a bitter. So then I said, zeppa Siah.
-
Then TIGGERINSI okay, okay, so yes, every pended sudha. Then
-
they he said, they're all these, all the all the
-
images and whatever they have. And I said, I said, okay,
-
where where is the place? Is it the river there?
-
And the river there's a platform. Okay, it's quite deep.
-
So I said, no, I'm not going in it. Too deep.
-
I cannot swimmer. So there was another puzzle game. I
-
say you you thought, yeah, okay, you go inside that.
-
But actually there's a platform there. So they all went in.
-
The four guys went inside there. And then then this
-
I saw this too, but he was laughing away, say
-
hey yeah, yeah, yeah, my mind. So I said, your witness,
-
come on a say yes sah yeah, but yes it too.
-
It can digil. There's a lost humor of hope. Where
-
he said that. I couldn't help Marvin. I said, goodness
-
or thank you Lord, thank you Lord for the fish. Yeah,
-
and they all advertise it odd. Yeah. So when when
-
you actually see the outcome of the visitation of Holy Spae,
-
they're all recorded for you in except the two verse
-
forty two to forty seven, in Except four, verse thirty
-
two to thirty seven. Yeah, these are things are happening
-
among the long couple people and so on. And as
-
we begin to realize for the for the church at
-
that time, when Jesus rose again, they doubted the fearful, hopeless,
-
et cetera. It seems like all dogs were cast out,
-
born to place, all fears will diminished. They could stand up.
-
And when you're told not to preach about Jesus in
-
accept four, verse twenty, he says, you know we cannot help,
-
but shared I appreach the things Ah that were seen
-
and heard, and this is you and I have you seen?
-
Have you heard? Have you experienced? If that's what it is,
-
then we need to carry on to speak that and
-
the Lord will bring to his power signs and won days.
-
In March of the sixteen, verse twenty, he says, when
-
Jesus say, go and preach the gospel, and these are
-
the things that happened. You read from verse fifteen right
-
up to verse verse nineteen in verse twenty, the scripture
-
records for us they went everywhere to share the good news.
-
Obedience they heard, they obeyed, and because they obeyed with
-
the preaching we talk about the good news system. We
-
sank now the good news. And then what happened the
-
Lord working with them with the proclamation of the word
-
was science miracles. Miracles are not the focus, but miracles
-
will help them understand that. Yes, Lord, this is what
-
you're doing, even in our medicine, Solan. And it is
-
just like in Execuel tip twenty seven, the Lord used
-
Ezequiel to give us a picture of the state of
-
affairs in the among the children of his words. They were,
-
in example, they've lost all hope. They never dreamed they
-
could go back anymore. But then again, you see when
-
when that happened, then the Lord brought him and he says,
-
this vision is a value of the dry bones in
-
Execul tip to thirty seven and verse one fourteen, and
-
in the venue dry bones. And he brought me there,
-
and the exequel say, I saw, yeah, so many bones
-
all dried up there and so on, And the Lord
-
asked him this question, son of men, can these bones live?
-
And what did the Lord say, the lots? Can these
-
bones leave? And I answered the Lord, oh, sovereign Lord,
-
only you know, So the focus is on the Lord,
-
not on the bones, because the bones can live, because
-
only you know. In verse eleven of Ezekiel thirty seven,
-
he says, you know when when when the Lord told
-
him to prophesy, then then this this was the command,
-
he said, you know, this was what they say. That
-
means those who are all dead bones, all lying there already.
-
This is what they used to say. He said, you know,
-
we we are dried up. We are there's no hope,
-
and we're cut off. That's why we need revival. If
-
you are dried up, the Lord wants to refresh you.
-
If you are if you if you come into a
-
situation where you have no hope, hope comes only from God. Yeah.
-
In Romans of the fifteen, verse thirteen, he says, made
-
the God of hope, grant you joy and peace as
-
you trust him and overflow with hope by the power
-
the Holy Spirit. You read it, it's said in Romans
-
fifteen thirteen. So as there's no hope, yeah, there's no
-
hope means you're cut off. Now reconnect and that's why
-
when when when when the when the Lord spoke to Ezekiel,
-
he says, oh, only you know, then speak speak to
-
the bones, prophesied with the bone. So the word, the
-
powerful word of God. Get back to the word, get
-
back to the to what God is saying to you,
-
Get back to all that He's going to speak to
-
you so dearly and so on. Yeah, the word is
-
so important. Yeah, it's not a focus on just reading
-
the word. No, is a focus of saying that the
-
word of God is not only just word of God,
-
is word of life. And when you read in Book
-
of Acts, he says, and the word increase and the
-
word grew Why because people were touched by the word
-
of God. And I say to you, that's what it is.
-
This guy who used to be condemned, prisoner, and so on.
-
And he says, I have only twenty three hours. I say,
-
what you mean twenty three hours? Because one day twenty
-
four hours, one hour I can come out and walk.
-
After that I must twenty three hours in my cell.
-
I said, then what do you do this? Someone gave
-
me a Bible. I read, I read, I read, I said,
-
did you understand said fallen. For many times, I don't
-
I don't know what it is. Yeah, and I don't
-
know why I'm reading. But I suppose that's the only
-
book I have to read. So how many times you read?
-
Many times? I read and read and read. And one
-
day I saw this word, seek the Lord and he'll
-
be found. And I saw the Lord. I said, Lord,
-
I don't know what this means. If I believe in
-
this word, it means true, and make it true in
-
my life. And then he came to know the law
-
by himself. And not only that, he wrote in a cell.
-
I said, where do you go? In? Right there? For
-
what he said, so that the next guy can see. Man.
-
So he keep writing, writing, writing all that. No, and
-
then no need that. Then the toies, rainy, I'm free now,
-
they said, you you got met ready? I saw a maazola.
-
That's what they say, and so but true. One day,
-
at his last appeal, three judges as a prosecutor, what
-
what are the changes. He's been condemned to death already,
-
this is an appeal, he said, we drop all charges.
-
He's today, he's all being on he said. Then the judge, well,
-
he's standing here. You're free now, how free my things
-
in the prison. See take the agib out, come on.
-
But they did bring him back, and so yeah, long
-
story shot. Yeah, today's she's saving the Lord. He he
-
attended tumbling, but every day he's a tiktoking every day.
-
TikTok me. Yeah, I said, stop talking me. I'm a
-
believer already, TikTok other people. Yeah, so I want to
-
say to you, Yeah, amazing things happen when, yeah, revival
-
takes place. So it's sannamon, can these woman's leave only
-
you know? Then the Lord says, prophesy over the bones,
-
use a word. Then when when there was some movement
-
and so on, but you know they all still bud,
-
We're all skeletons, all right, clear away, he said, speak
-
breath into the met And then in verse eleven, he says,
-
when that has happened, you know what happened the whole place,
-
It became a vast arm. So there's a mission. God
-
doesn't bring revival just like that. He brings revival so
-
that not only the spirit is present, not only the
-
word is known, not only his voice is heard, is
-
so that we can move on. Actious. This is what
-
God wants you to do. This is what God is
-
saying to you. Yeah, even as you move on, even
-
as he speaks to you. You know, when this guy,
-
when I first met him, he came to know the Lord.
-
But then something happened. I didn't see him for some time,
-
and then I heard he was hospitalized. And he was
-
in the hospital and he has a very strange blood
-
disease which the doctors don't even know what to do.
-
And as he was lying there, his friends called me.
-
He said, Passer, what do we do? I say, what's happening.
-
He's in a coma. Oh cooma, oamar. All the tubes
-
are and the doctor said, Er, I think very soon.
-
Better take him home, better to die at Homer. That's
-
what happened. So they didn't take him. They said, I
-
remember you said, Passer, you said these words in joints
-
of the sixth verse sixty three. Jesus said these words,
-
the spirit gives life, the flesh counts for nothing. The
-
words said, I speak a life and spirit. So I said, yeah,
-
I did. So what are you going to do? Well?
-
One of us have this idea? I say, is it
-
your idea or somebody's idea? No? Is the Holy Spirit?
-
Tell us? I said, what the Holy spit tell you
-
from nine pm to six am, read all the words
-
of Jesus. Why because in a comma you can hear,
-
you can hear the word of God. So then they
-
asked me, canna, I said, I didn't tell you to do.
-
It's a holy spirit told you, so he must follow
-
lor don't follow me, follow holy Spirit. Okay. So they started.
-
They took their own turn. Day one, day two, day three,
-
day four. By the time day five or eady, doctor
-
said a time to take him home and then he
-
said no, No, They continued. They continued, they continued. By
-
the day nine, something happened. The guy reading already lost
-
all hope, wondering what's going to happen, And then there
-
was a stirring. He thought, oh, maybe this last breath today,
-
and then he started. He tried to get up, he
-
tried to sit up, he tried to stand up. He said.
-
Then he called the medical person. I said, this guy
-
stood up and wow, and in his incubator day he's
-
telling them I heard every word that he spoke. I
-
heard Jesus words, and I saw Jesus. And he says,
-
go back and tell the people. Within the week it
-
was his charge within three months. With three months, I
-
went to interview him. He told me all these things
-
and says, so, what are you going to do about it?
-
He says, this is what he said, And I want
-
to say to you as in conclusion, there's no reason
-
why I should not follow him all the way. You
-
want revival, That's what happened. You want revival, You need
-
to hear God's word. You need you need to hear
-
what God is saying to you. You want revival, get
-
back to the Word because it is a word of life,
-
all right. That's why. That's why Paul wrote to Timothy.
-
Do you know that all scriptures is inspired by God?
-
It is positible for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, and
-
for training in righteousness. About Verse seventeen says, so that
-
the man of God. It means you are that man
-
of God that God is set aside. You will be
-
fully thoroughly equipped. In other words, we need to be equipped.
-
We need to be equipped with a word which we
-
need to be to be filled with the spirit and
-
be moved as God wants to do. And as you
-
read these very words from Hybaco, then let me just
-
end know with this I have heard about you, Lord,
-
Are you hearing him? The fresh word needs a comer.
-
I am feeled with awe by your amazing words. Are
-
you in awe of fear of His holiness? In the
-
time of our need? Revive us, Lord, we are desperate.
-
Our condition may not be dry bones like this, but
-
we're dry. Our condition may not be cut off, but
-
we are. We feel cut off. Lord, revive us so
-
that we have hoped in you and no nean.
-
Just revive reaviv us now so that means a desperation
-
needs to be there, and in your anger, yes, unfair, repent.
-
So that you'll be here and be made whole. I
-
want to challenge you, brothers and sisters. You may say, oh, well,
-
that's amazing message. Maybe hopefully it is what I want
-
to say to you. It is not about me. It's
-
not about the message is about what the Lord has
-
spoken to you. You didn't come this morning just to
-
listen to a message. You came to be transformed by
-
the spirit. You came so that when you leave this
-
place people will experience amazing touch of God that they
-
have had beginning in a house in a household. And
-
I like this guy who used to be an extremist
-
when he came to know the Lord. He said, do
-
you know the first person that noticed that I know
-
Jesus is my wife because I treated her. I did
-
it like an object. When I say when she did
-
something nice, I said, thank you so young? My wife
-
told me you've got mad. It's good to go mad
-
for Jesus. Yeah, that's how young people are. You all
-
use a lot of ecronyms. I cannot said, this is
-
the one young people. The window came me, come back, pastor,
-
we're all mad. I said, what did the speakers say
-
to you? Yeah, he told us we're all mad Christians.
-
I said, what is mad Christians? What does it mean?
-
He said, you're not mad for Jesus. Huh, m Ad
-
means make a difference a pastor you don't know? Are
-
Oh how come you don't know? I said, But so
-
do you think I'm meant or not say you're not?
-
You're mad? Pastors? All, So let me just close its.
-
I appeal to you from Romans steps of twelve US one.
-
I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, that you present
-
your body as a living sacrifice. God is not interested
-
in dat. People. Homer people God is interested in those
-
that were be alive in Him so that it will
-
be an acceptable worship to you.
-
We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
