  1. You're listening to a message to go from axt church.

  2. We hope this message will light.

  3. Up your tea.

  4. I'm gonna share an excerpt of a letter, and I

  5. wanna see whether this resonates with you or not. Okay,

  6. so let's look out, la. Okay, it's coming, It's coming.

  7. The Word of God is coming to you, all right. Okay,

  8. this is a letter. Okay, I'm gonna read this letter

  9. with as much passion as I can, and you let

  10. me know whether this resonates with you at all. It says,

  11. if you only look at us, you might well miss

  12. the brightness. We carry this precious message around in an

  13. unadorned cleay pot of our ordinary lives.

  14. How many of you feel that you live ordinary lives? Okay,

  15. that's to.

  16. Prevent anyone from confusing God's incomparable power with us. As

  17. it is, there's not much chance of that. You know

  18. for yourselves that we are not much to look at. M. Yeah,

  19. we've been surrounded and battered by troubles, but we are

  20. not demoralized. We're not sure what to do, but we

  21. know that God knows what to do. We've been spiritually terrorized.

  22. How many you feel like you're terrorized or you've been

  23. going through you know, years maybe or being terrorized. But

  24. God hasn't left outside. We've been thrown down, but we

  25. haven't broken. How many of you can resonate with this

  26. that you feel that you know, life is not a

  27. bit of roses. Life is full of challenges, you know,

  28. left right center? How many of you were at homes

  29. last Friday?

  30. Homes Homes such a great homes rne so good.

  31. And in fact, the word is waiting on the Lord right,

  32. waiting on lot, And I think that spoke to so

  33. many of us. All of us are waiting on the

  34. lot for something. I'm waiting on the lot for breakthroughs,

  35. for the work that I'm doing right, And so sometimes.

  36. We feel like, ah, what do it?

  37. Nothing is moving and you feel stuck right, And God

  38. wants to unstuck us today.

  39. Amen.

  40. God wants to unstuck us.

  41. Amen.

  42. If not things are not changed around you, God wants

  43. to unstuck our mindset, because that's the biggest battle that

  44. we are fighting, right, the battle of the mind.

  45. All right, So you know, waiting on the lot.

  46. Yeah, if you're taking notes, this is what we're gonna

  47. delve into further because that really, you know, the whole

  48. idea of waiting the lot really stuck with me. Okay,

  49. And if you didn't know, just now that letter was

  50. actually a letter from the Bible. Yeah, Second Corinthian. Some

  51. some of you know the world God. Let me go

  52. to the actual not actual lit another version that you

  53. may be more familiar with. Okay, so let's go to

  54. the NKJV version. So I'm gonna read that.

  55. Let's go. This sounds more familiar.

  56. But we have treasures in earthen vessels that the excellence

  57. of the power may be of God and not of us.

  58. We are hot pressed on every side. Ooh this I

  59. feel like that. Oooh the bills are coming. Ooh, the

  60. dadlines are coming. Students, assignment you did exam coming and

  61. you're not prepared.

  62. Hot press on every side, yet not crushed. You're still here? Amen?

  63. Hey, Hello, you're here means you're not crushed yet. Okay,

  64. Praise God. We are perplexed, perplexing us. Some of the

  65. situations just now, John, pray for the petrol price a

  66. very perplexing. Why people make decisions like that to go

  67. to war, causing all of us to be perplexed, but

  68. not in despair. We are persecuted, but not forsaken. Some

  69. of you may be facing persecure right, but we are

  70. not forsaken.

  71. Can you remember that in the hardest moments.

  72. When you are being attacked on all sides, remember that

  73. God has not forsaken you.

  74. Amen. And it says struck down but not destroyed. Wow.

  75. I read through the whole Second Letter of Corinthians, and.

  76. It's so powerful. Do you know, It's so rich? And

  77. if you are this is taken from Second Corinthians.

  78. And if you are in that situation, can I encourage

  79. you to just read that letter.

  80. Just read the whole letter to find strengthen it.

  81. Really, it's so so needed for our soul in this time, right, Okay?

  82. So okay, so this is where we are right now.

  83. So I think we understand that, ha haw comer. Why

  84. Christian being a Christian so hot on? I thought being

  85. a Christian would insulate us from the troubles of this world.

  86. Right.

  87. So this is the reality that we live, and we

  88. live in a very broken world, and we will face

  89. broken people. In fact, some of your greatest hurts maybe

  90. people from church. Ooh ouch, because right, we say, how

  91. come Christian can be like that?

  92. Right? Our mindset, right, and it feels that whoa how come?

  93. You know?

  94. I thought once you become a Christian, everything's going to

  95. be easy, right, But it's not.

  96. It's not okay.

  97. So I want to tackle that challenge because that might

  98. be something that all of us are facing.

  99. And we're trying to trying to navigate this very sticky situation, right.

  100. And can I tell you that the Bible never shies.

  101. Away from this.

  102. The Bible speaks it plain and loud that this is

  103. what we're going through.

  104. Hello, this is from.

  105. The Word of God and written by Paul the Great Apostle.

  106. Do you think he had everything going for him?

  107. You know?

  108. After that rite, he goes on to say, uh, you

  109. know you want to talk about the super apostles, you know,

  110. because he was. They were tackling false apostles and false

  111. doctrines and teachings and the church that time.

  112. And we gotta be very careful friends, you know why.

  113. Because is seeping into all of us all these false doctrines.

  114. It depends on what you're watching, right. I only have

  115. forty five minutes with you, but you spend forty five

  116. hours watching I don't know what, and those could be

  117. the very false doctrines that seeks into your mind, and

  118. we gotta be very careful to guard our minds and

  119. our hearts right against what comes in to corrupt us. Amen, Okay,

  120. so let's move on. Let's move on. So this is

  121. us right, So what is my what's my next letter?

  122. Thank you Julie by the way, haha for helping me

  123. with this. Let's move on to the next one.

  124. Huh. Okay, So we talk about homes.

  125. We talk about homes, right, and those of you who

  126. have not had your homes, yeah, I pray that you

  127. will have a good one, but I wanted to kind

  128. of go deeper with that.

  129. Is that okay?

  130. And so we talk about habococ three seventeen and you'll

  131. know this by now, right. It says that though the

  132. fixtor may not blossom, I perpersonally look for a picture

  133. that's barren.

  134. Can you see that no fruit be on the vines?

  135. How many of you feel like there's no fruitfulness in

  136. your lives at this moment. It's like it's been months,

  137. it's been years. I've been praying, but there are no answers.

  138. Though the labor of the olive may fail and the

  139. feels yield no food, though the flock may be cut

  140. off from the fall and there be no herd in

  141. the stalls.

  142. Right.

  143. I think we went through this in our small groups

  144. our homes. And for those of you who have not,

  145. you're not part of us small group?

  146. Can I encourage you to join one? Can I church?

  147. This is how we grow, This is what we believe

  148. in acts. We believe in growing small. We need to

  149. come and rub each other, right, in a small group,

  150. so that we can go deeper with the lot. It's

  151. very easy to do church like this. Yeah, you just

  152. come and you just go. But if you want to

  153. be serious about growing with the Lord, then we need

  154. to get anchored. And here we believe that being anchored

  155. is being part of a small group. Right, you just

  156. continue to come and start serving there, start, you know,

  157. getting to know each other, opening up your lives to

  158. each other so that we may encourage each other, chur

  159. each other on right, and pray for one another, but

  160. also challenge each other.

  161. Can or not?

  162. Are you ready to be challenged? Because here like that,

  163. right I challenge you. There's no countability, but in your

  164. small group, you will be challenged and you will be

  165. accounted for. Yeah, that's why we do small groups. Okay,

  166. So so we did this and and so we had.

  167. A great discussion.

  168. So I had the privilege of visiting our newly planted.

  169. Homes as J zero three.

  170. Yeah awesome, okay, they have such great food, you know,

  171. and so I was happy to be there.

  172. I abandoned my own homes.

  173. Thank you to our own homes, you know, leaders for

  174. supporting me as I. Yeah.

  175. Yeah.

  176. And and you know, by the time we finish, for

  177. you're like, oh, you'll have to do what of course,

  178. so for right, you know, dinner and the late But

  179. we had such a good time understanding that this might

  180. be what you're facing right now. This might be exactly

  181. what you're facing right now. And yet what is our response,

  182. right and we know that our response because this is

  183. door the word do.

  184. Everything may be failing.

  185. Though, everything may seem like stuck, but then what So

  186. that's why there is hope in church, right because for

  187. the world out there, So what are.

  188. They waiting for.

  189. They're waiting for the world, the next world that's gonna

  190. be happening, right, They're waiting to see whether there's gonna

  191. be a peace truth. They're waiting to see who's gonna

  192. blast the next missile. That's what they are waiting for.

  193. But what are we waiting for? Come on, Christians, what

  194. are we waiting for? So because of this right, and

  195. that's why the beauty of this is, it does not

  196. stop here. Your newspaper, nobody knows newspaper now, your news portal,

  197. whatever is reading. It's all that you will tell you

  198. the facts.

  199. But then there is no after that.

  200. And I thank God that there is a verse eighteen, right,

  201. and what is verse eighteen?

  202. Let's go to verse eighteen.

  203. Just move on to the next Yeah, let's go on

  204. to the next one. Oh, don't have a let me

  205. read them. Suspense to you, suspends to you? Okay, um, okay,

  206. so we understand that. Oh, I didn't put it in

  207. the mind. Hey, you got your bibles for you. Turn

  208. to your bible, slah, don't put the stress on XTV alone.

  209. Okay. I think all of us need to be filed.

  210. Okay, by the way, can you please turn to habok Tree,

  211. then to Haberco tree. This is put your finger in

  212. there so that we will come back to it. Okay,

  213. Haburcle tree seventeen right, it says there.

  214. And so we're in this season of saying.

  215. We don't know what's gonna happen next, right, And so

  216. that's why we went into waiting upon the lot, correct, right,

  217. waiting upon the lot? Now I was looking through my nose.

  218. I actually spoke on waiting on the lot just October

  219. last year. Do you remember that you cannot remember?

  220. Never mind? That's why I repeat again?

  221. Long? Why you know why we just repeat because we

  222. all forget so it will look like a new message,

  223. right ah, never mind, we all need constantly reminders.

  224. Anyway.

  225. So the last time I shed about waiting on the lot,

  226. I shared from Isaiah forty to that do you want

  227. to remember that those who wait upon the lot char

  228. renew their strength? Right, they shall walk and not faining,

  229. They will run and not be weary.

  230. Yeah? Remember that?

  231. Okay, So if you forget, then you go back to

  232. the message to go right. But we're gonna focus on

  233. Haber cook tree.

  234. Uh.

  235. And it says this, and we are waiting upon the lot.

  236. So we we learned about this work cover. Do you

  237. remember that at homes to cover?

  238. Right? And what what what does it mean to cover?

  239. To wait? Okay?

  240. But do you remember that there is a deeper word

  241. to the word cover?

  242. Okay? And so this is where Julie can help me

  243. with the word cover. To wait is to cover, right,

  244. and so we say.

  245. Is to wait expectantly, to hope for something. But the

  246. primitive root of the word cover it comes from this

  247. word cove. Cove is a rope or a coil. Okay, right,

  248. you're thinking, Hey, how come waiting God? This word rope

  249. or coil? What does that even mean? So the actual

  250. full extension of the meaning to cover it means is

  251. to twist strands to I forgot to bring my rope,

  252. man tweet the strengths together to make the rope, to

  253. bind together.

  254. This is what to cover means, to bind together.

  255. And you might be wondering what does this mean as

  256. I'm waiting upon the Lord?

  257. Right? Well, what does it mean to bind?

  258. Because we firstly established earlier that.

  259. The situation that we are in right.

  260. Now, we all feel hopeless, right, we could feel hopeless,

  261. we could feel weak.

  262. But where is our strength? And we say that our

  263. strength comes from who from the Lord?

  264. Not from the US dollar, not from the patrol dollar,

  265. not from your paycheck, not from your wisdom, not from

  266. your connections, not from your titles, not from how much

  267. you have in your bank. Our strength comes from the Lord.

  268. Now you see that?

  269. Okay, So the reason why I kind of went on

  270. this track was someone in the homes, right, she asked

  271. this question. And so we talk about, yeah, waiting on

  272. the law. We need to wait on the law. It

  273. means to trust and to surrender. And she asked, actually, how.

  274. Do we wait true or not? What do we do?

  275. Because we say waiting is not passive? Right, Remember that

  276. in your homes we say waiting is not passive? So actually,

  277. what do we do when we wait?

  278. Right?

  279. And so waiting is actually saying we are actively and

  280. I'm using the word active, we are actively binding ourselves.

  281. Our weakness with the strength of God. Do you see that?

  282. So to wait right, it means it doesn't mean I'm

  283. just sitting down here doing nothing.

  284. It means I am binding.

  285. Myself, tightening myself to God's strength, my weakness to his strength.

  286. And that is an active thing. You know. It doesn't

  287. mean I'm just sitting down and it's not waiting for

  288. the Lord. Yeah, can I just get this to you.

  289. You're not waiting for the Lord. You're waiting on the Lord.

  290. There is a great difference. Hello, if I'm the word

  291. waiting like the word waiter. If I'm waiting for some

  292. for God to come, I'm just gonna sit down and wait, right,

  293. that's waiting for someone to come. But when you're waiting

  294. on the Lord, it means I am now in the

  295. position of a waiter. What is the waiter do? What

  296. kind of waiter do you hate the most? Tell me, Ah,

  297. the waiter who like you, like hello, hello, he know,

  298. I'll put that towel right, they're like doing something right,

  299. not hy not.

  300. That waiter is not waiting on you. A good waiter.

  301. Looks at their customer and straight away pay attention. Focus,

  302. what do you need, sir? Straight away?

  303. Can I get you water? Right?

  304. That is a good waiter. So we want to learn

  305. how to wait upon God in the right way. Yeah,

  306. we're not just waiting for God to do something. Yeah, God,

  307. you change the world. God you say this, God you

  308. do that. No, we are waiting on the Lord. That

  309. makes us very different. Now we're just waiting for something

  310. to happen. We are waiting on God to make something happen.

  311. Amen.

  312. So this is something that is very important for us

  313. to catch friends because you're not doing nothing as you're

  314. waiting Okay, Now, so I want to bring us back

  315. to Psalms twenty seven. So flip to psumd twenty seven.

  316. So this is gonna be the main bulk of where

  317. we are gonna get how do we wait upon the Lord?

  318. Amen? All right? And I love Psalms twenty seven because

  319. it's so real.

  320. Right, it's so rich, and it's so real to what

  321. I just mentioned earlier, and I want to just read

  322. the most part of it.

  323. Okay, all right.

  324. He says here in verse one, the Lord is my

  325. Light and my salvation. Well, the first thing that David

  326. said this is a sum of David. He says that

  327. the Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall

  328. I fear? Come on, if there's something that's causing you sleepless, nnd,

  329. something that's causing your anxiety. David is saying, Hey, who

  330. are you looking at? Are you looking at the Lord?

  331. He says, the Lord is my light, The Lord is

  332. my salvation.

  333. Whom shall I fear? Hey? Friends, who shall you fear? Really?

  334. Is there anything that you fear? Name it and then

  335. you put it under Jesus. You know, we sang the

  336. song Jesus, your name is the name above every name,

  337. your name is the Higher. Then you bring that fear

  338. under the subjection of Jesus, under the name of Jesus' friends.

  339. This is how we wait.

  340. Yeah, we want to learn how to wait, right, so

  341. let's learn how to do that. Whom shall I feel?

  342. See the Lord says? The word says is the Lord

  343. is the.

  344. Strength of my life.

  345. We want strength, right, friends, we want strength because we

  346. feel we are weak. You know the thing is right,

  347. when we are hopeless, we feel weak. That's true psychologically.

  348. When you feel there's no tomorrow, you.

  349. Just you know it. Strength leaves your body.

  350. You know.

  351. Strength leaves your body when there's no hope, when there's hopelessness.

  352. So if you're feeling right, I'm so weak I cannot

  353. get up anymore.

  354. Can I tell you this word is for you? Yeah.

  355. Verse two, when the wicked came against me to eat

  356. up my flesh, well, some of you feel that your

  357. challenges is eating you up alive. My enemy and my

  358. foes they stumbled and fell. Though an army man it

  359. may and came against me. My heart shall not fear

  360. though war may rise against me. Wow, this is so real, right,

  361. there is a war rising against us in this I

  362. will be confident. Now, let's zoom in on this one thing.

  363. What do you desire? One thing I have desired of

  364. the Lord? That will I seek? That I may dwell

  365. in the house of the Lord all the days of

  366. my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord.

  367. And to inquiet in his temple.

  368. So how do we position ourselves as we are waiting?

  369. Firstly, we want to rejoice? Friends?

  370. Yeah, do you want to rejoice? Because hybacock tree eighteen?

  371. You know it says, though the victory may not blossom,

  372. though everything else, yet I will reach joys. Yet I

  373. will join in the God of my salvation. What is

  374. the word rejoice?

  375. Tell me what? What do you think is the word rejoice? Sorry?

  376. Be joyful? Okay? What else? How do you be joyful

  377. with thanksgiving? Okay? What else? How do you be joyful? Hey? Hello?

  378. Do you see just not?

  379. In when I was reading Proverbs, right, it says you

  380. shall rejoice right the women? And and you see again

  381. and again this world rejoice mark that. What does rejoice

  382. mean celebrate? How do you celebrate? Is this how we celebrate?

  383. And yet how many of us are like that? When

  384. we come before the Lord? Do you know the word joys. Yeah,

  385. let's go to this would rejoice It means alas right,

  386. and it means to jump for joy?

  387. Hello, did you jump for joy? Just now? You didn't?

  388. Right?

  389. That means we didn't rejoice? Is either you rejoice or

  390. you did not. It's an expression that you could see

  391. and our expression, I will joy in the Lord of

  392. my salvation, he.

  393. Says, I will spin around. How many of us spin

  394. around just now? Lucky l falla gola?

  395. Why?

  396. Yes, yeah, no, no, seriously, you think about it. You know,

  397. David right was praise You know how David praise God

  398. and a shamely right? He danced and he sings and

  399. just on that new song you would have was singing

  400. and dancing. How many of us sing and dance in

  401. the presence of God?

  402. Hio heio too left feet? Is it? Never mind? Too

  403. left fi?

  404. Still can praise the Lord because when we don't have

  405. this lightness, you know, then we get burdened, We get

  406. way down by the troubles of this world. So the

  407. way to bid that right is to say, God, I

  408. was still jump. Do you know to jump like that

  409. are to leap?

  410. Whoa.

  411. It's not like it's not something that you manufacture in

  412. a sense. You know, it's something that is really internal,

  413. something that's within you. So that means that you you

  414. don't like, let me jump. This is rejoicing. I'm rejoicing

  415. in the Lord. Right. It is something that comes out

  416. from within us.

  417. So I'm asking us do we have that within us?

  418. And that's why?

  419. Right? You know I learned this from my leaders. Okay,

  420. passa Sandra. Hello, you think she's just an energetic bunny. No,

  421. she is taking the word of God and living it out.

  422. Hello, we want to live out the word of God. No,

  423. what for we just read it.

  424. It's not going to change your life. Friends, Seriously, you

  425. want to experience the power of God. You try leaping

  426. and jumping.

  427. How would you feel?

  428. You know, Peter and Peter and John they were at

  429. the gate beautiful there was a lame man, right. Can

  430. you imagine if you're in a situation, situation, you've been

  431. lame for years? And Peter and John says, okay, look

  432. at me, look at me. And he looked up expecting

  433. Why what was he expecting?

  434. Money? Alms?

  435. Peters right, maybe just enough to vibrad And he says,

  436. look at me, silver and gold. I have not but

  437. in the name of Jesus, I command you to rise

  438. up and walk. And this is a word for some

  439. people here. I think some of us are very paralyzed

  440. in our spiritual lives. And God is saying to you,

  441. rise up and walk, Rise up.

  442. And what did the man do?

  443. He went walking and leaping and praising God.

  444. That's rejoicing. Hello.

  445. If you have not been rejoicing, I pray and God

  446. will give you that power and that energy to rejoice

  447. and to.

  448. Leap, to praise God as he deserves. Hello.

  449. This is not a performance. It's not a show for anyone.

  450. You're not performing for the extremers. Okay, No, seriously, if

  451. you want to rejoice, you want to leap, you want

  452. to you know, spin around.

  453. Let it be for the Lord he sees it. Mam.

  454. It's not for us, you know.

  455. And it's just an exercise to say, God, my heart

  456. is light before you. So number one, as you are

  457. waiting when things seem so difficult, right, would you rejoice? Yes?

  458. Would you rejoice?

  459. Would you dance in your bathroom and singing to the Lord.

  460. No one else is seeing this, you know, Like I said,

  461. you're not proving anything to anyone. You're just doing a

  462. hard check to see God. Am I really in this

  463. right position? Because what did Habakuk do? He says, even

  464. though everything fails yet yet? Is there a yet in

  465. your life?

  466. Friends? Is there a yet in your lives? Yet?

  467. I will still praise God even though that deal went through,

  468. even though that business closed down, even though that relationship

  469. went I.

  470. Will praise the Lord.

  471. I will still praising because he deserves my praise.

  472. Hello, he deserves it. This is how we wait. Even

  473. though yeah, I had.

  474. A bad experience, I will praise the Lord, leaping and

  475. jumping for the Lord.

  476. Amen, That's what we do. Second one, as.

  477. We're reading from Psalms twenty seven, One thing I have

  478. desired of the Lord? That will I see? What is

  479. the one thing that you desire? The one thing that

  480. we ask for? This is the Psalmis. He's saying, one

  481. thing I have desired of the Lord. We have many desires,

  482. your friends, but have we missed the one thing that

  483. we should desire for?

  484. There are many things that we desire for, but have

  485. we missed it?

  486. Because if we have missed it, then we say God,

  487. I've missed it.

  488. But I don't want to keep missing it.

  489. Amen, don't want to keep missing it now, right, And

  490. David says, one thing I've desired of the Lord, that

  491. will I seek that I may dwell in the house

  492. of the Lord all the days of my life. Do

  493. you see this picture? Is it a beautiful picture? This

  494. is at our last pray prayer rally, four times a year,

  495. and this is the house of God.

  496. Amen.

  497. When you come, you come to seek in God's presence,

  498. You come to dwell in the presence of God. Right,

  499. And it doesn't matter then now externally what happens. It's

  500. not the building. The House of God is not the building.

  501. The House of God is the people. We are abiding

  502. with others, people who believe, people who worship. Imen, would

  503. you desire this as you're waiting? Yeah, I'm talking about

  504. what do you do when you're waiting? Firstly, we say, rejoice, Rejoice,

  505. seek him the one thing that you desire, and dwell

  506. in His presence among his people. We're not trying to

  507. make your life difficult, friends, but this is the word

  508. of God.

  509. Why do you think we.

  510. Are prayer service altern a Tuesday? The next one is

  511. coming out on Tuesday. Why because we believe in prayer,

  512. Because we believe that prayer powers our church, that we

  513. cannot do this without prayer. You know, you think it's

  514. just easy to organize. You mightself just do an event organizing, Right,

  515. it's not. Everything that we do is powered by prayer.

  516. We believe in that. So we come together because we

  517. want to dwell amongst the brethrens who will encourage us,

  518. and to say, God, would you hear our prayer? And

  519. that's how powerful corporate prayer is. Right, I pray that

  520. when you know you make a decision to be there,

  521. make a decision. It's a choice, right, what do we

  522. choose one thing? And we say, oh yo, God, I

  523. don't know where you are in my life. Then come now,

  524. God's presence is with us.

  525. Amen. All right, so let's move on. Let's move on,

  526. seek and to dwell and to all the things.

  527. Oh okay, it's says here, and I'm going to read

  528. right in verse five or in the time of trouble,

  529. he shall hide me in his pavilion, in the secret

  530. place of his tabernacle, he shall hide me, and he

  531. shall set me high upon a rock.

  532. All right.

  533. It goes on to verse six. I'm gonna read verse six.

  534. And now my heat shall be lifted up above my

  535. enemies all around me. You see that when you go

  536. to God's presence and you sick and dwell in him,

  537. he says, now your head shall be lifted.

  538. Up above your enemies all around you.

  539. Therefore, I will offer sacrifices of joy.

  540. Do you see that? Do you know? Sometimes, uh, to

  541. leap and to dance is a sacrifice. It's not automatic

  542. because you don't feel like it.

  543. How many of us feel like praising God when you

  544. receive the worst news of your life?

  545. Nobody? And so when your hands are so heavy, do

  546. you know.

  547. That it takes a lot of energy to say, God,

  548. I will praise you. Do you know this act is

  549. an act of the will. It's an act of sacrifice, sacrifice.

  550. You say, how do I sacrifice? Not through your money only?

  551. This is an act of sacrifice to praise God. Right,

  552. and so we say, God, WHOA my hands are so heavy?

  553. My hands are.

  554. But according to the word of God, I will rejoice.

  555. I will join the Lord of my salvation.

  556. I will praise you God. I don't understand. I feel

  557. I'm in the.

  558. Depth of my despair. But you are good.

  559. You are good, You are always good. And you begin

  560. to Thank God, you are good. You gave me life,

  561. You give me breath, You're gonna give me tomorrow. You

  562. give me my family, give me my church, you give

  563. me my homes. Can you see that you're turning things around?

  564. Your friends?

  565. God gave us the power to be able to speak

  566. into our situation. Do you know that that's why God

  567. gave us mouth. Out of the mouth comes words of

  568. life and death.

  569. So would you choose death or would you choose to

  570. speak life?

  571. So it's up to us, you know, God say up

  572. to Youlah? You want to say, what up to Youla?

  573. God says, I will always speak life because that's who

  574. I am. But who are you? Who are you? Do

  575. you speak prophesied death over your own situation? Or you cannot? Sailah? Sailah?

  576. Chinese people like to say h say it means die.

  577. We prophesied death over our own situation, And God say,

  578. has got power?

  579. Then you sailah. Do you know they've done this experiment right?

  580. When you continue to speak positive words to a plant

  581. and you will live. And you continue to speak next

  582. the words to a plan, he dies. You know you

  583. try yourself your experiment and tell me true or not

  584. it's true.

  585. Right, it's proven. You think, what is your bad breath?

  586. Is it? No? Is the power of our words, the

  587. power of our confession?

  588. What are you confessing? Friends?

  589. What are you confessing over your own life? What are

  590. you confessing over your own situation? So God is saying no,

  591. praise him, give him the glory, give him thanksgiving.

  592. Amen, And it says now verse seven.

  593. Here or Lord, when I cry with my voice, do

  594. you see that your voice has power? God says, God

  595. loves to hear your voice. Friends, So can you say

  596. your amens? When you say amen, you're saying God, I agree.

  597. It's a yes and amen. Right.

  598. You're doing this for yourself more, not for me? Right?

  599. Why why do we keep moms like I don't agree?

  600. You know, when something resonates, you say yes God, Amen,

  601. Amen to that. I receive that promise. I receive that

  602. word because that word is the word of God. So

  603. if you don't you don't say amen, you're like.

  604. Saying, oh, I don't. I don't believe this is the

  605. word of God? Do you do? You believe that? Everything

  606. you know?

  607. That's why I say, open your Biblella, so that you

  608. know that I'm not talking nonsense.

  609. I'm not saying my own words.

  610. I want to be true to the word of God,

  611. and I want to give you only the word of God.

  612. Amen.

  613. And it says that hear, Oh Lord, when I cry

  614. with my words, have mercy also upon me and answer me.

  615. When you say, seek my face my heart, say to

  616. you your face, Lord, I will seek.

  617. We are seeking the face of God, the presence of God.

  618. Not just his hands, a not just to answer our

  619. prayer with seeking God's face. Do not hide your face

  620. from me. Do not turn your served away in anger.

  621. You have been my help. Do not leave me, nor

  622. forsake me.

  623. Right.

  624. This is God's promise. Do not leave me, nor forsake me.

  625. This is a cry of David, and God says, I

  626. will never leave you nor forsake you. Right, Oh God

  627. of my salvation. Well verse that is very real. Where

  628. my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord

  629. will take care of me. Teach me your way, o Lord,

  630. and lead me in.

  631. A smooth path.

  632. Because of my enemies, do not deliver me to the

  633. will of my adversaries. For false witnesses have risen against me,

  634. and such as breathe out violence. We need to believe, friends,

  635. and this is what verse the teen says. Verse the

  636. Thing says this, I would have lost hearts. How many

  637. of us sometimes we're on the verge of losing our hearts.

  638. We are on the verge of lo using all our

  639. faith in God on the verch And David says, I

  640. would have lost heart unless I had believed that I

  641. would see the goodness of the Lord in the land

  642. of the Living.

  643. Amen. Do you believe? The question is what do you believe?

  644. We believe many things, friends, there's so many news reports

  645. out there, but what do we believe?

  646. And David is saying, I believe in the goodness of God?

  647. Do you know this is one.

  648. Of the most fundamental beliefs that you need to have

  649. in the face of your suffering and your persecution and

  650. your trials, that God is still good.

  651. Amen.

  652. Only Ali believes that God is still good. God is

  653. still good. Some of us find it very I have

  654. to say the Amen. You know, it's because we find

  655. it hard to believe that God is good. It's it's true,

  656. especially when things are so rotten around us, to actually

  657. say by faith, God is good, that's hard. That's hard.

  658. But we want to say God, you are still good.

  659. Because in actual fact, he's always been good. And it

  660. says that wait on the Lord, be of good courage,

  661. and he shall strengthen your heart.

  662. Be courageous.

  663. Do you know the other word of courage, right is

  664. to grow firm or too strong, or to fasten yourself

  665. to something. Do you know what courage is? You fasten

  666. yourself to something? Does it sound like cover? To bind

  667. yourself to something that is unshakable.

  668. That's how you get courage.

  669. You know, when the world is shaking, everything is you know,

  670. rocking your world, then you bind yourself to something that's unshakable.

  671. And the world one person that we know is unshakable

  672. is our God. Amen, So bind yourself take courage, friends,

  673. This is how we gain our strength as we wait

  674. upon the Lord, as we wait for revival, as we

  675. wait for things to turn around. Because you know what

  676. is going to turn around. It will turn around, it

  677. doesn't matter how long. But what do we do in

  678. that weight? We need to bind us a be of

  679. good courage? Amen, bind ourselves to the one that never shakes.

  680. Okay, all right now? How you know we talk a

  681. lot about strength.

  682. Right you see the thing keep coming up, the strength

  683. of rejoice, strength, rejoice and nii Maya says, the joy

  684. of the Lord is mine. You know that, So how

  685. come we don't rejoice? If we don't rejoice, we don't

  686. get strength. Right, And so you see that this is

  687. this is our practice as believer us that we need

  688. to learn to rejoice praise God. We ax church is

  689. a praise generating church. This is one of our core values.

  690. We're gonna go through our core value soon, but we

  691. are a church that generates praise.

  692. You know what generator is dynamo? Power? Do namis the

  693. Holy Spirit?

  694. Can you see the connection that as we speak in tongues,

  695. as we praise, as we sing unto the Lord, we

  696. are generating power. You know, friends whoa, we are generating

  697. enough power to break through our circumstances. We are generally

  698. that power to say, God, you're victorious. And this is

  699. how we break through. We don't live under our circumstance.

  700. We live above our circumstances. That's what Christians have because

  701. we have Jesus who says, in this world you will

  702. have trials and tribulations. Jesus really see but he says,

  703. take heart, I have overcome the world. And so how

  704. do we tap into that power of Jesus Christ. Is

  705. we praise, we continue to praise him, We generate that

  706. power within our own spirits, and we see the word,

  707. the power of God move in our lives. How many

  708. of us want to live the power? You want to

  709. see God's power working your lives? Amen, I want to

  710. see that more and more. I'm like, so, God, I

  711. want to be a praise generation generator everywhere I go.

  712. You go into your office, you're going to your school, you're.

  713. Going to your campuses.

  714. You're praise generating, praising God right constantly. Like, no matter

  715. what exams read that come out, no matter what praise generating,

  716. just continue to praise God. Praise God. You're gonna see

  717. your life change. Friends, Really, really, this is a truth. Okay,

  718. this is not just a good idea. If you practice this,

  719. I guarantee you you will see results. I guarantee you

  720. that God will work something in you that you can't

  721. wait to give that so many next week. Seriously, Seriously,

  722. there's enough power of God to change your circumstances in

  723. an instance.

  724. It's just that we are not tapping into God's power. Right.

  725. So I want to give you this key, friends, I want.

  726. To give you this key so that you go into

  727. your week you are generating praise.

  728. There's a manner where your circumstances that you're generating praise

  729. when God is going to move.

  730. Amen.

  731. Amen?

  732. You know sometimes right, we talk about strength, right, and

  733. we say, ah, your God, you give me strength. Right, God,

  734. you give me strength. But do you know that we

  735. can tap into God's strength? And many times right, we

  736. see strength as something that's external. Right, we talk about money,

  737. we talk about connections. That's a kind of strength, kind

  738. of power. But do you know that there is a misconcept?

  739. Can I can I break a misconception to you? What

  740. do you think some looks like Samson's strongest man in

  741. the Bible?

  742. Right?

  743. Okay, so I have a picture of Samson. Oh can

  744. we go back to that?

  745. Can we go back? Oh?

  746. By the way, right, I just want to say, be

  747. of good courage.

  748. And I chose the picture. I didn't do all want

  749. it too much.

  750. But I just want to say our campus students.

  751. You guys wrong.

  752. Okay, we had our campus conference just last weekend and

  753. we sent all our students right, and they took up.

  754. Of course, this is Zoe where Zoe? Yeah, she preached.

  755. In x kk right, taking courage to do something she's

  756. never done before and to deliver the word of God.

  757. So many of our students went out and served right.

  758. And do you know that being courageous right is a

  759. step by step journey.

  760. Yeah.

  761. If you take one step and you say, how do

  762. you become courageous? How do you continue to bind yourself?

  763. You keep saying yes, Yeah, keep saying yes la.

  764. Okayla. You asked me to serve okaaler.

  765. Even though I got I only know one called Okaila,

  766. even though I have to wear a black bye o Kaila,

  767. even though I have to come early, Okayla. Yes, Lord,

  768. you're saying yes to God, And that's how you grow

  769. in your courage right, because it is when you're weak.

  770. Then you are.

  771. You know, but you never practice on me. We all

  772. know it as here hate knowledge. But if you want

  773. to see the power of God, then we need to

  774. practice it. Would you keep saying yes to God? Be

  775. of good courage. Don't give excuses low. We live by exploits,

  776. not excuse us. Yeah. So many of us fail to

  777. meet our destiny because of the excuses that we have.

  778. But God says, I want you to do great exploits

  779. great exploits for the Lord.

  780. Amen. Okay, so let's go, let's go right.

  781. So let let's move on to sam Oh, how do

  782. we know if someone is strong?

  783. Okay?

  784. And so I chicily asked one of the AI generator

  785. to say, what does Samson look like? Right?

  786. And so it generated for me? Or this this?

  787. This one maybe not a sense? Lah I should have

  788. clothed him with something.

  789. Haha.

  790. Do you know that many of us, in our children,

  791. Bible pictures and all that we imagine Samson like that,

  792. true or not? Muscle upon muscle because of what is

  793. he known for his strength?

  794. Ah? And the lady cutting the head? True or not?

  795. Many of us have this idea of strength that is

  796. something that is you know, natural. But can I tell

  797. you that God's strength is supernatural? Because in actual fact,

  798. the Bible scholar says, the real, more realistic type of

  799. image of Samson is the next one, same guy.

  800. What happened to the muscles? He didn't covered halla, halla

  801. to cover ha covered covered covered.

  802. Actually he was just like an ordinary man. No lean maybe,

  803. but not muscular.

  804. Because you think.

  805. About it, why would they say, hey, how come I

  806. Samsum was so strong? If you look at the earlier picture.

  807. You say, of course la natural, right, bodybuilder.

  808. Right.

  809. If someone is a bodybuilder nature, you say that person

  810. very strong.

  811. But when someone looks like a stick like John.

  812. Like that ah ah, but that strength, I want to

  813. say it, what was from his hair?

  814. Samson's strength grows from his hair.

  815. So the strength that he had or was not dictated

  816. on his muscles.

  817. Did you see that? I'm trying to get at that.

  818. The image that we.

  819. Have of the strength of a person is not external.

  820. It's internal. And so when we look across, don't look

  821. at all that person must be very stronger because of

  822. all the muscles and whatnot. But it's actually the strength

  823. that God enables us immen. And in Samson it was

  824. the braided hair. How many of you logical or not

  825. to be able to push down a building because I

  826. have long hair? Nonsense? Huh yeah, uncut hair. It doesn't

  827. make sense, right. So God is trying to say, hello,

  828. this is my strength, and it might.

  829. Defeat your logic. Okay, logical, right?

  830. I mean in that sensor to us like what the

  831. strength of our hair is the strength of our body.

  832. It doesn't make sense. But God is trying to tell us.

  833. That my foolishness is greater than your wisdom of the world.

  834. It's like, okay, God, I get this, I get this.

  835. Okay.

  836. And so now it's very interesting because I'm gonna show you. Now,

  837. how many of you things that deers. Deers are very strong, dear,

  838. as the deer pans for the water. Yeah, this is

  839. a creature in the Bible.

  840. How many have you seen deers before? Oh? It's behind Okay,

  841. do you know the image of deer?

  842. Okay, welcome to zoo Nagara. Some of you never seen

  843. deer before. Okay, dear, look like that ownA huh then

  844. needs son oil? My husband hungry you Okay, he's thinking

  845. about food. Okay, don't think about food right now. He's

  846. very gimmy.

  847. So you know, sometimes we think.

  848. About deers, you know, we we Does it look strong

  849. to you, by the way?

  850. Oh?

  851. Yes, you know where I'm going with this, la right,

  852. But out on the outside it looks like a scorny

  853. sampson lar right, No, No, think about it in terms

  854. of the animal kingdom? Would you say like this is

  855. a strong anymore? This one losing hair.

  856. Looks so skinny, looks so skinny? Okay.

  857. So generally, generally we will not say that. Yeah, I

  858. want to be as strong as a dear would you

  859. not really? Lae? But do you know that it's very

  860. interesting because I want to show you a video clip

  861. of the first one. Yeah, so, Julie, can you just

  862. and not this not this on, this is the last one,

  863. not this on, not this one, not this one, this one.

  864. I want you to notice the steepness of the cliff. Eshuer,

  865. oh mar rock climbing. Oh so we have our old

  866. little ashure.

  867. Where's eshure?

  868. By the way, imagine you're doing it, Kenna.

  869. Now you see.

  870. The thing about deers, right, is that they are how

  871. many of you like heights, by the way, No, nobody

  872. likes hides. And you might be thinking, why why would

  873. the deer want to climb the cliff like that? Okay,

  874. tell me why do you think that the deer will

  875. want to climb the cliff?

  876. Safety from predators? Okay? For food? All right? Is it

  877. easy to climb for us?

  878. For us on train, it's probably going to be very difficult.

  879. But do you know that deers are especially me You know,

  880. you might think the Tanscrowny Lakes, right, it's like very weak,

  881. right and useless. But do you know that deers are

  882. the strongest when they are actually climbing up a heel

  883. like that? And so many of us right would look

  884. at our problems like a very steep hue and it's like, wow,

  885. this cliff, this mountain is so high, so steep. I

  886. don't know how to get up there. I don't know

  887. how to get up there. I want to show you

  888. another cliff that seems like, you know, it's really hard.

  889. Right.

  890. Maybe we seem that the situations around us cages in.

  891. How do we get out of it?

  892. Okay? So, Julie, the second video, this one, ah, this

  893. one not ai on this are not no no, this

  894. is real.

  895. This is real okay, And and it didn't even need

  896. to like you know, for more of us who have

  897. a high jump being in school before. Right, Wow, we

  898. go like a distance and you run and you were

  899. just surrounding it and you just leads. Okay, that is

  900. the power of the lakes to be able to jump

  901. up that way. But do you know something very funny

  902. what I discover about deers is most of the time

  903. the deers when they are faced, you know what they

  904. do when they see fences, They just run around it. True,

  905. not so so you might not know this, but when

  906. when deer this So, deers are a.

  907. Little bit dumbler.

  908. When they see the fans around them. Most of the

  909. time they will just run along it. But they did

  910. not know that they actually had the strength to leap

  911. like that deer.

  912. Just now they actually had it within them.

  913. It's just that they're like, alahm, my problem too big,

  914. fans too high.

  915. Let me just run around it. And then they and run.

  916. Do you know?

  917. The other image I have of a deer is like

  918. you know, a deer in the headlight. Normally, when when

  919. deers are faced with challenges, right, they.

  920. Like freeze, don't know what to do. Many Christians are

  921. like that when we're faced with our challenges, that will

  922. be like don't know what to do?

  923. No, But actually God had given us the ability to

  924. be able to climb up across the cliff, away from predators,

  925. away from.

  926. Danger, to look for food.

  927. Because as you are climbing up there, you know what's

  928. so special about the do you know what the deers

  929. can do? They got four feet right, the back feet

  930. can land exactly on the where the front feet went first,

  931. so they can actually trace exactly where the feet was

  932. in front of them so that they don't fall.

  933. Because the thing about the terrans is if you.

  934. Slip and fall right, then it's not a stable foot thing.

  935. But what they know is if this is a stable

  936. foot thing and they know it very quickly, they can

  937. quickly put their hind legs right exactly at the same spot.

  938. And that's that's how they went leaping like that, going

  939. up so sure footed.

  940. Do you know that their holes has two toes, toes.

  941. I call it the toes that can you know, keep

  942. your slipper and then put it there.

  943. You don't know what I'm walking about. Some of you do.

  944. Go back and try, you know, if you got slippers right,

  945. and you don't want to use your hands so that

  946. you use your toes to keep it and.

  947. Then you can put it somewhere else.

  948. There's got those two toes, and these two toes right

  949. exactly have the same thing. They have the ability to

  950. grip the land which they are climbing, and it's so

  951. soft and it's like a rubber. Do you know, like

  952. I think when they're climbing, I don't rock climbing. Whatever

  953. you have grips, so your feet has that grip. So

  954. what I'm trying to tell you, friends, why am I

  955. talking about dear? You might be wondering because Habakok Tree

  956. nineteen says this. Do you know what Habocok Tree nineteen says,

  957. or not? Ah, God, dear there right. Habakok Tree nineteen says,

  958. the Lord God is my strength. He will make my

  959. feet like dear's feet, and he will make me walk

  960. on my high heels.

  961. This is the word of God.

  962. Did you ever wonder why Habakok says, I will still

  963. praise the Lord though nothing else happens, but God will

  964. make me make my feet like the dearest feet.

  965. What is God trying to say to us? He's trying

  966. to say, yes.

  967. Your cliffs will be there, Yes, your challenges is there.

  968. But I'm going to give you feet that causes you

  969. to climb that mountain. I'm not gonna remove it, you know,

  970. but I'm going to enable you.

  971. I'm gonna give you the strength.

  972. I'm gonna give you the equipping in your spirit so

  973. that you can climb that mountain.

  974. You can conquer that mountain.

  975. And when you guess what, when you're at the top

  976. of the mountain, you see down below and you say, God,

  977. this is you I have conquered this. I would rather

  978. us be conquerous. God causes conquerors, right, He didn't cause us.

  979. He didn't call us to just live life smoothly, smoothly.

  980. He causes us to be conquerous, to climb up so

  981. high up there that when you look at this, you're like,

  982. I'm ready for the next mountain.

  983. I'm ready because I'm made for this. God wants to

  984. make us ready.

  985. Friends, whatever challenges that you have, God is preparing us

  986. to climb and to make us able to navigate these challenges. Right,

  987. you go to the next night, Julie. It's not brute

  988. strength that God is looking at, but supernatural stability in

  989. dangerous places. We live in a dangerous world. Friends, this

  990. world is dangerous. But God, in our faith in Him,

  991. is going to give us this supernatural stability, this peace

  992. of God that surpasses all understanding. You remember this verse Philippians,

  993. the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. Well, God,

  994. our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus, So what

  995. is guarding our hearts? What is guarding our minds? We

  996. need to understand that God is with us and he

  997. is for us.

  998. Amen, Hallelijah amen, And how do I want to end this?

  999. I want us to maybe go to the final YouTube, Julie,

1000. can you show that one? Now you can't see this,

1001. but basically what the deer is, it's in a.

1002. Fight with a mountain lion. Do you see that.

1003. Some of us might feel that you want to play

1004. that again? As I'm talking, some of us might feel

1005. that we are defeated, that we are down on the ground,

1006. and that we are struggling. Right, We're struggling and we

1007. feel defeated. But do you see how the deer escapes that?

1008. Did they escape that by using all their mine? And

1009. I believe the deer gave a really good kicking to

1010. the mountain lion. Right, God says, I will make you

1011. like the deer's feet. I will make you walk on

1012. high heels. And do you know that many times the

1013. enemy is like the roaring lion. Tewod Peter says, this,

1014. be sober and vigilant because your adversary, read the devil,

1015. walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

1016. Do you know that we're all targets, friends, We're all

1017. targets because the moment we want to do God's work.

1018. The moment you want to be effective, the moment you

1019. say God, I want the revival, the fire of God

1020. to come into my lives. We gotta watch it because

1021. the devil looks at and say, oh, no, you're getting

1022. on fire, Queschin. Let me put you down, let me

1023. disappoint you, let me distract you a little bit so

1024. that you're down and ineffective for the work of God.

1025. And so that's why all of us write we go

1026. to life and like, oh, actually, my life, my work.

1027. We go I don't know why it's so hard to

1028. get it right. Why is it so hard to.

  1029. Get it right?

1030. Because you're fighting an enemy, We're fighting an invisible enemy.

1031. And so how do I want to end? Friends? And

1032. I want to end by looking unto Jesus a man?

  1033. Is that okay?

1034. Because our ltimately it is him, It is him whom

1035. we look at. How do we navigate this? How do

1036. we continue to climb high hills for the Lord? Hebrews twelve,

1037. Hebrews twelve, and I want us to take this home

  1038. and meditate on it.

1039. It says, therefore we also, since we.

1040. Are surrounded by such a great testimony, you know Hebrews

1041. is talking about the people of faith, right, those who

1042. have gone before Abraham who sacrifice his son, different ones.

1043. But do you know, at the end of Hebrews eleven,

1044. he says, some were stoned, some were sawn into two,

1045. some were tempted and were afflicted, tormented, some died. These

1046. are the heroes of faith, you know, heroes of faith.

1047. And that's why twelve says this. Therefore we also, since

1048. we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses,

1049. let us lay aside every weight and the sin which

1050. so easily ensnares us, and let us.

  1051. Run with endurance.

1052. Friends, we are called to run with endurance the race.

1053. That is set before us.

1054. You know, friends, I don't know how many more days

1055. we have, how many years we have to live, But

1056. every day that we have before us, it's a race.

1057. It's a race, and God calls us to run. But

1058. don't just run blindly, run with endurance. God wants us

1059. to keep the faith. How do we keep the faith?

1060. How do we run with endurance? And this is what

  1061. we need to do.

1062. Verse two. Looking unto Jesus.

1063. You see, when we are running, we're not just running

1064. away from the enemy. We're not just like running away

1065. from the enemy. We're not just running away from our problems.

1066. We are running looking unto Jesus. We are running towards Jesus. Amen,

1067. you're not running away from your problems, You're running towards Jesus.

1068. And when you run towards Jesus, he says this looking

1069. unto Jesus, the author and finishing of our faith.

1070. Do you want to end up in a finishing line?

1071. He says, And for who for the joy that was

1072. set before him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and

1073. has sat down at the right hand of the throne

  1074. of God.

1075. Jesus himself. Do you know Jesus when he went to

1076. the cross, he was running his race with endurance?

1077. How did he do it? Because he says, I'm looking

1078. at the joy that was set before him. There's something

1079. to look forward to. Friends, what are you looking forward to?

1080. Are you looking to Jesus? Are you running towards him?

1081. Or are you running away from him?

1082. I hope you've been blessed by this message.
