  1. You're listening to a message to go from at church.

  2. We hope this message will light.

  3. Up your tea. What's an agreement? Those of you are

  4. young and do not know what an agreement is, You

  5. better get to know it, because when you grow older,

  6. everything is an agreement. You go and work for people,

  7. you gotta sign an agreement. You buy a house, gotta

  8. sign agreement. You get a kite, you gotta buy an agreement.

  9. So there's an agreement for everything. So what is my agreement? Okay,

  10. let's hear what the Lord has to say in his word. Okay,

  11. we're gonna be doing the parable found in Matthew chapter twenty,

  12. reading from verse one. Now, I've always told you that

  13. when I read the Bible, there's many ways to read

  14. the Bible. You read it quietly. That's why a lot

  15. of people go to sleep, because when you read it quietly,

  16. like you read your novel, you go to sleep. But

  17. you can read it like it's a living book. You

  18. can read it aloud. You know, if you read the

  19. scripture aloud, not only are you using your mouth, but

  20. your years are being used, and your sight is being used,

  21. and you know it's it's really a great way to

  22. grow in the world. So this is or these are

  23. the words of Jesus, and therefore I'm going to do

  24. it a Jesus voice because I believe that when the

  25. Lord speaks to me. I try and imagine those first

  26. words that I heard that made me become a Christian,

  27. where I heard the Lord speak to me. It was

  28. an amazing voice, it was. It was so you know,

  29. strong yet full of compassion. So I do a bad job,

  30. all right, So this, you know, but I tried. Huh.

  31. That's because there's a difference in reading my normal voice,

  32. which has got actually no impact. So when I read

  33. it to myself, you know, I imagine that the Lord is

  34. reading it to me. Okay, So here goes for the

  35. Kingdom of Heaven is like a landowner who went out

  36. early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. Now,

  37. when he had agreed with the laborers for a denarious

  38. a day, he sent them into his vineyard. Got difference.

  39. Now, I.

  40. Mean, you know, it keptures you. Right, So when you

  41. read your scripture, you have to read it in such

  42. a way that it's going to really do something for you. Okay.

  43. But this is this is how I believe I'm trying

  44. to recreate the way the Lord spoke to me all

  45. those years ago. And this is how when he reads

  46. to me, because I don't imagine he's got my voice,

  47. so they so his voice. Okay, so let's delve into it.

  48. The Kingdom of Heaven. I remember speaking to you the

  49. last time, and I explained to you that the Kingdom

  50. of Heaven refers to whom God. It refers to God.

  51. You see, Jesus was speaking to whom. Jesus was speaking

  52. to the Jewish people who revered the name of God.

  53. They revered the name of God so much that they

  54. wouldn't say God. They say the Kingdom of Heaven because

  55. they were not worthy or holy enough to use the

  56. word God. So Jesus was speaking to them in a

  57. way that they understood. You know, Jesus was these are people.

  58. They were quite a strange group of people, all right.

  59. He was not going to change the very one thing

  60. that they seemed to get right. They revered the name

  61. of God. So Jesus was not going to say God

  62. the Father. He wasn't going to use the word God.

  63. He was not going to change what they had gotten right.

  64. What had they got right that reverence, reverence for the

  65. name of God, that that you know, ultimate position they

  66. were giving to that name. So Jesus used that language

  67. that they understood. He didn't change it, Okay, he didn't

  68. undermine the thing that they was getting right. They were

  69. getting right. And what was he doing. He I wanted

  70. to give an insight to them about who God was

  71. and is. So this parable about the laborers in the

  72. vineyard is a parable to help you understand God. When

  73. you and I read scripture, do we skim over what

  74. is the message behind the scripture? Many of us do.

  75. I've read this scripture for years, and I only understood

  76. it when the Lord said I want you to speak

  77. on this. And then when I started to meditate on

  78. it and go into it, I begin to understand it

  79. even more. I begin to see a lot of things. So,

  80. first thing is the owner went out early. How many

  81. of you wake up early? Don't put up your hands.

  82. How many of you just made it to church? I

  83. do not want to see your hands raised early? Do

  84. you know that God is active? God is not like

  85. us on time. Before the first person opened up the door,

  86. God was already here waiting for you. He was looking

  87. forward to your presence, and he was here waiting to

  88. meet you in your worship, and you and I we

  89. barely make it here on time. He is the Lord

  90. of lords, in the King of kings, by right, he

  91. should make his entrance when we come. But if you

  92. read an undersc understand scripture, God is God is working.

  93. You know, God is always working, He's always planning, He

  94. is always interested in something. You'll get to know what

  95. early suggests that what we deem is slow and lacking

  96. the understanding. God is already moving. You know God has

  97. three answers. Did you know that? What are the three answers?

  98. I can't hear you. Okay, let's do it again, Okay,

  99. all together? One, two, three, Yes, we love her. We

  100. love that answer. No, we don't like it, but we

  101. appreciate it comes very fast. But the one answer we

  102. cannot stand wait, true not design. You can raise your

  103. hands true not. Let's be honest. Let me tell you

  104. there is another form of weight. When God is silent.

  105. Do you know that God's silence is an answer? You

  106. and I better learn that because a lot of God's

  107. answers are silence. You ask your so why God is

  108. slow to act? No, he has to arrange things. You

  109. didn't see me my card today, right, she always sends

  110. me every Sunday morning. I saw you come out today.

  111. I was early because I had to attend em, so

  112. you didn't see me. But let me tell you God

  113. is planning things while that silence is happening. He is

  114. already planning your answer. Did you know that? But you see,

  115. God doesn't only plan your answer. He plans to bless

  116. other people even as you are answered. Say God, I

  117. need a job. Will you help me get a job? Please? Lord,

  118. bless me with a job. And then you hear silence.

  119. You think God is slow, right, No, God is speaking

  120. to somebody else and say there's a person I want

  121. you to go and meet. I want you to give

  122. that person this job. And then out of the blue,

  123. this person some days later. Sometimes they will come and say, hey,

  124. God told me to tell you give you a job.

  125. So you got blessed, right, because God gave you a job.

  126. But guess who also got blessed the other person who

  127. was obedient. You say this never works, right, Let me

  128. tell you I was already over the age of fifty five.

  129. How many of you know at the age of fifty five,

  130. nobody wants to hire a man. That is the truth.

  131. Malitia is like that. When you're over the age of

  132. fifty five, they can't be bothered with you. Is a fact.

  133. So unlike other countries where you can work country sixty

  134. five seventy years old, they still value you, Malaysia does

  135. not do that, does not value you. All right, It's

  136. very hard to get a job once you cross that age.

  137. But I came to a stage where I say, Lord,

  138. it's time for me to move. At the age of

  139. fifty five, it's time for me to move. I said

  140. that prayer. Right then lo and behold. I get a call.

  141. Somebody calls me and says, can you come for an interview?

  142. So okay, because somebody else got my CV and gave

  143. it to somebody else and this person called me for

  144. an interview. When I went for the interview, the interview

  145. went for so well. I was troubled. Wow, something goes

  146. so well. You can also be troubled. Yes, you know

  147. what was the trouble? This time? I just might get

  148. the job. How can this be so troubling? You must

  149. remember my previous job. I'm working for fifteen years. I

  150. know it inside and out. To step out into a

  151. new environment, to step out into something new where nobody

  152. knows you not frightening. Frightening. So I was troubled. That

  153. night I went to sleep and I had a dream

  154. and in the dream, Lord appeared and said, take the job.

  155. It's going to be good for you. Wow. That happened.

  156. And dream next morning, I get a call. The director

  157. wants to see you. Okay. So one week later I

  158. went to meet the director. I promise you this is

  159. the truth. I'm telling you word for word. She's about

  160. to say something. I said, hang on a minute, can

  161. I tell you something? She said, yeah, go ahead, I said.

  162. I had a dream and in the dream, the Lord

  163. told me you're going to call and you're going to

  164. offer me the job, and I'm to take the job

  165. because it's going to be good for me. First time

  166. I'm speaking to her, my first words to her. This

  167. was my first words to her. You know what she said?

  168. She says, that's amazing because I had no position for you.

  169. But then the Lord spoke to me and told me

  170. make a position for him, give him the job. You

  171. will not regret it. Those were her first words to me,

  172. And I got the job. God is arranging things you

  173. better believe it all right. So Morning suggests that this

  174. was the first thing on God's mind. What was the

  175. first thing on God's mind? I need people to work

  176. in my vineyard. You and I better realize the way

  177. is God's vineyard here? It is God's vineyard. Is what

  178. the place where he grows? What grapes? Why did he

  179. choose a vineyard? Grapes? Is what grapes? If you realize,

  180. if you if you go into the book of jet Exodus,

  181. what was grapes? It was a symbol of blessing. Right,

  182. the land flowing with milk and honey. What did they

  183. bring back? Did they bring back the honey? No? Did

  184. they bring back the milk? No? What did they bring

  185. back the back? Grapes? And then what is grapes used

  186. to make wine? What is wine? A symbol of holy spirit? Guys,

  187. the important things to God is what his vineyard? Who

  188. is his vineyard? We are his vineyard? First thing on

  189. God's mind? Okay, now what did you do? He hired

  190. workers for the vineyard. God wants people involved in his service.

  191. He wants people involved in these things. Are you involved

  192. in these things? So it's not just harvest. He's not

  193. just pray to the Lord of the Hovest, because there's

  194. a hovest. But God is also interested in what He's

  195. interested in his field. What is the vineyard? Hey, guys,

  196. it's the world. What is he doing? What are you

  197. doing a vineyard? Well, before you get the grapes, what

  198. you gotta do, you gotta plant? Right? What am I doing?

  199. I'm planting the seed. I'm sharing the word. When you

  200. share the word, what are you doing? You're planting? Guys,

  201. how many of you have never shared? Don't put up behind?

  202. How many have you never shared the word of God?

  203. It's time to start. I'm The other day I met

  204. a man. The man said, my father is ill. He's

  205. in hospital. He just came out. I said, can I

  206. go and talk to him? And this is another crisis? No,

  207. I I the people in the church have come to pray.

  208. When I said, if ever you need someone to talk

  209. to your dad or but he doesn't speak English, it

  210. doesn't matter. You can speak their language. Right, I speak

  211. to you, you speak to dream in the language. He understands. Why,

  212. Because I believe that when I talk to someone, I'm

  213. going to carry the power of the Holy Spirit to

  214. get the word of God in their life. Do you

  215. believe that about yourself? You should, because that's what God

  216. is trying to tell you. Okay, planting, Then you come

  217. to what is the watering? Well? Somebody else will also, Yeah,

  218. what are you doing in church? You're being watered what

  219. you already know it a lot. Now this is to

  220. strengthen you. What is it? What it's been? It's been

  221. given to you to give to get growth. Then there's

  222. a fertilizing. What is fertilizing? And hear you and I

  223. don't want to be disciple? Why you want to be disciple?

  224. Because you're so so afraid that people encroach on your life.

  225. Let me tell you, nobody wants to encroach on your

  226. personal life. Discipling is not about encroaching on your personal life,

  227. but it could be about telling you something you don't

  228. want to hear about yourself. So are you brave enough

  229. to grow? Are you brave enough to grow? Are you

  230. brave enough to develop? Then you got pruning? Man? Why

  231. you got what growing on you? You're not going to

  232. cut it off? You like to show people the water

  233. on your finger, So prettier, I had this big water

  234. on my finger, you know. So all the people say

  235. you like your what is it? Big one is a

  236. big one? No, I don't like the word. So why

  237. are you showing everybody what a pretty wor you have?

  238. Go and get it seen too. Because I had one

  239. big water on his finger, and I had a couple

  240. of wats on the other hands and the other fingers.

  241. So I went to the doctor. He removed the w

  242. He used electrocutterization. Do you know what happened when this

  243. big one fell off? Straight away? The other two also

  244. fell off without him touching. Then you look at my

  245. hands now, pretty So now when I show it's a

  246. testimony before the Lord love prettyness? Why I want to

  247. show whats? Guys? You gotta handle things. That's what That's

  248. what pruning is all about. That's what discipleship is all about.

  249. He's getting rid of the wats in your life. Why

  250. you like your watter very prettier, not pretty much? Get

  251. rid of it? Okay? Okay? Then there's also protecting? What

  252. protecting you are together? I can tell you your children here.

  253. Do you think anyone of us will allow somebody to

  254. come and harm them? There? You throw a stone? Ten

  255. of us will protect your child? Why is that? Because

  256. there is protection in the house of the Lord. People

  257. are willing to protect your children. Why the spirit of

  258. God is in all of us. Your child is our family,

  259. and lastly comes there have us? All right? So he

  260. agreed to pay them wan dinarres? Who did the agreement? God?

  261. So who did the negotiation? This is a key point.

  262. Who did the negotiation? It was the first group of

  263. people he approached at six am. Do you know there

  264. are people in the church who want to negotiate their way.

  265. I will serve you Lord only if be very careful,

  266. be very careful if your service of the Lord depends

  267. on agreement you make with him, because the Lord just

  268. might agree to it. Because when the Lord agrees to it,

  269. you got to ask yourself, are you going to be

  270. satisfied with the agreement you have made? Later part, we

  271. will learn something about this. They made the agreement, he agreed. Okay,

  272. it was negotiated. You get sent after agreement and not before.

  273. Let me tell you you want to be sent to

  274. serve the Lord, that you have to agree with the

  275. Lord and something. Either you agree with his proposal or

  276. he agrees with yours. That's what the scripture is about. Okay.

  277. This is why you may be called, but not sent.

  278. In there, all of us are called. The whole of

  279. mankind is called to be christin. Did you know that?

  280. Did you know that? When the scripture says that we

  281. were all destined to be believe us, it's true. When

  282. Jesus died in the cross, he didn't die for sam.

  283. He died for all. But you and I have a

  284. choice to make. We choose whether we want to receive

  285. it or not. All right, so you get sent after

  286. your call. Many of us are called, but we are

  287. not sent because we do not agree with the terms.

  288. I do not agree Lord with me having to sleep

  289. on the floor, so I will not go for missions.

  290. I went for missions to Indonesia. You go for house vegitation.

  291. You think you have chaser. You sit on the floor.

  292. I tell you I didn't know where to put my legs.

  293. You get cram squatting, you get crams sitting down and

  294. you stretch your legs. Cannot stretch your legs because when

  295. you stretch your leg you knock the guy in front

  296. of you. I tell you this is the whole time

  297. is moving like this, moving it because as getting cramps everywhere.

  298. But you see that's that is in like that's the truth.

  299. But does that stop you know? You do it anyway?

  300. Let me tell you. I went there. I said, I'm

  301. going to be very quiet. I'm not going to say

  302. anything because I don't speak the language. You know, I

  303. don't speak my molie. It's not so good. So I'm

  304. just going to go there. First time. I'm going. I'm

  305. just gonna go and listen. That's my plan, right tell

  306. God loved God had other plans. I went there. I'm

  307. already prophesying in Malay. Every house I went to with

  308. moving like this, moving like that, trying to stretch, put

  309. the leg in. I'm telling them the word of God.

  310. In Basa, when I preached the message, I wrote the

  311. whole thing out because I thought to myself, no, I

  312. cannot make I cannot speak. So I did the whole

  313. message in English, translated all in Bahasa. The whole thing

  314. eleven pages if you read forty five minutes. So I

  315. went up there today the pul pitcher God said, put

  316. it paper aside, your mountain speak. So I look at

  317. elder rods, how am I doing? For Okay? For time me, Hey,

  318. you're five minutes more So, after I finished the five

  319. minutes and says, so okay, now you know forty minutes

  320. or forty five minutes in no, no, no, one and a

  321. half hours, that is the Lord. What are the terms?

  322. So anyway, as we let's go on. And he went

  323. out again at the third hour is their first hour

  324. sixty am? What is the third hour? Nine am? And

  325. you saw others standing idel of case up there, and

  326. he saw others standing in the idol in the marketplace,

  327. and he said to them, you also go into the vineyard.

  328. Whatever is right, I will give to you. The first

  329. one didn't tell us where the Lord went. We only

  330. understood that he went to the marketplace. When he talked

  331. to the second group, let me tell you he found

  332. them what idle? So you and I think the marketplace

  333. is going to all the time, look after us tell

  334. that to this he found them idle where in the

  335. place that's supposed to have all the jobs. You think

  336. the world loves you, so you want to serve the world.

  337. So many people say they are marketplace Christians. I have

  338. no love for that term. You are a Christian in

  339. the marketplace is a big difference. You don't bring the

  340. marketplace into the church. You take Christ into the marketplace.

  341. You go into the market, you think they love you.

  342. I always say, the world is out to get you.

  343. How do I know that these people were in the

  344. place of commerce and they didn't have a job, And

  345. who comes along? God? Coming work in my place? And

  346. whatever is fair I'll give you. Do you know that?

  347. Did they question how much it was? They took the

  348. Lord up at his offer? You know what that means?

  349. They trusted him. So can we trust God like that?

  350. Or do we have to have the terms spelled out

  351. like the first group? Can we trust that our God

  352. loves us enough to take care of us? Guys, you

  353. are going to school a lot of you you're in college.

  354. You think your brains is yours. Try giving it up

  355. to Jesus and see what some more it can happen,

  356. See how he can use you. You talk about you

  357. don't want to serve the Lord because it's going to

  358. take you away from your studies. I'm not telling what

  359. you want to do. I'll just tell you what I

  360. did when I was studying. I prayed for demon case

  361. for possession cases from ten am to four am in

  362. the morning, three am in the morning, have three hours sleep,

  363. Go to school, all right, go one whole day of school.

  364. Train the tennis team from one am to seven pm.

  365. Go back home, do my studies, have my dinner, wash

  366. my clothes from eight to ten am ten am. Go

  367. back to church to pray for deliverance cases. I am

  368. the only one on my situation to have passed the examine.

  369. Not just passed, I did very well. Is it my brains? No?

  370. I laid hands in the book and I say, God,

  371. you help me understand. Does that mean I didn't study? No?

  372. I studied. But you see, by trusting God. Every time

  373. I looked at my books and every time I read

  374. my work, I understood it. Am I intelligent? I was

  375. average as a student. What made the difference? God? Okay?

  376. So they went and what does God say? Who says?

  377. God does not care? Ah, because you don't have a job.

  378. God doesn't care. No, he cares. After three hours he

  379. goes looking. That means that he didn't stay for very long.

  380. After a little while, he's already looking for others. He's

  381. always looking for you. Doing nothing is not acceptable to

  382. the Lord. If you do not work, don't eat in

  383. the house of the Lord. It's not acceptable for you

  384. to be doing nothing. If you just come to the

  385. house of the Lord to receive the word. You know

  386. what you're doing. You're making God your cook. Remember the

  387. last message said, you're making God your servant. No, no, no, no, no.

  388. Wherever you are, you serve the Lord. Even means you

  389. have to straighten out a chair. That is service to

  390. the Lord. I'll remind you the first time I came

  391. to church. You know what I told the pastor, I

  392. will serve in church. What will you do? I will

  393. wash the toilets. I came from a position where I

  394. used to serve in church. Does that mean I come

  395. into church and I become a you know, a leader

  396. in church.

  397. No.

  398. To me, serving the Lord was whatever. It's God who

  399. raised up. And even when pastors started to raise Elder

  400. Mabel and myself we refused. You know, we said, no, no, no, pastor,

  401. we can do the job without the title. You know

  402. what pastor said, You don't understand. With the title comes

  403. the anointing. Because the office is anointed. Elder Mabel and

  404. myself will always submit to truth. That truth bore witness

  405. in our heart. On that basis, we said yes, not

  406. because we wanted to be known or or have some title.

  407. Not in our we we're not interested in that. The guys,

  408. you got to understand, serving the Lord is exciting. Okay,

  409. So he offers them work. He offers because he cares

  410. for them, and he cares for people in the world.

  411. Let's move on to Matthew twenty five. He says again,

  412. Now he goes out at what the sixth hour? What

  413. is the six hour? Noon? And then ninth hour, and

  414. did likewise. So nine am, twelve and three he goes

  415. out and he does like twise. He tells them, you're

  416. going to work for me. Whatever is good, I'll give you.

  417. They accepted, there's acceptance, But you want to know something. Trust.

  418. They trusted him. So anytime of the day, he is

  419. still searching. God is always searching. God is God his

  420. eyes on you. Can you believe that God has his

  421. eyes on you. God never stops inviting you to come

  422. and do something for him. He never stops. He's always

  423. looking out for workers. Why, because he cares for his field.

  424. He cares for you. What is worse? Six nah comes

  425. about the eleventh hour? How many have you heard this

  426. term eleventh hour? Eleventh hour is equivalent to the last minute.

  427. You know your parents will always tell you, oh, you

  428. never study your whole life. Eleventh hour only you want

  429. to study here. In my case, I only had one

  430. hour a day or two hours a day to study.

  431. I made sure I did it. It was very fruitful.

  432. About the eleventh hour. He went out and found others

  433. standing idle. Oh, he's always looking for people who don't

  434. have something to do, because the world loves people who

  435. have nothing to do. The one loves you to have

  436. nothing to do. Did you know that? Because when you

  437. have nothing to do, the ones who are making money

  438. have something to do. Because those people in the world

  439. who are making money, I'm not interested that you make

  440. money with them. They want to make the money and

  441. keep it for themselves. Did you know that? So why

  442. have you been standing idle all day? What is the

  443. Lord's concern? Why heaven't you started working? You finish your degree.

  444. No such thing as next day retinal you finish before

  445. you finish your degree? Or do you start looking for

  446. a job? Why is that? Well? As students, your parents

  447. looked after you right the moment you finish being a student.

  448. Shouldn't you be looking after yourself. You want to grow

  449. into a strong adult, not a whimp. God didn't like

  450. to see people idle. So eleven hours, just down, eleven

  451. hours into the working day. How many of you know

  452. what the working day is now? In scripture? Working days

  453. twelve hours okay, from six in the morning to six

  454. in the evening. How many have you liked that? Raise

  455. your hands. There is this one billionaire you know. I

  456. think it was just recently reported. I can't remember his name. Billionaires.

  457. He said, all those people who want work life balancer,

  458. I wish that they worked for my competitors. That's what

  459. he said. Eleven hour? Does that mean you have to know? Hey, guys,

  460. you finished work at five five thirty, that one and

  461. a half hours, Go and spend doing something for the Lord.

  462. Call a friend, Hey, go out for a meal, let

  463. me share Jesus with you, or go and help somebody,

  464. Go and do something that glorifies the name of the Lord.

  465. Did you know then God is still looking for whom

  466. the ones that no one else wants eleven hour? Nobody

  467. wants them fifty five years old, nobody wants you. Nobody

  468. wants you at fifty five, But God is looking out

  469. for you. Did you know that God is still caring?

  470. He trusts you. No, there was no interview no interview,

  471. You got nothing to do. Come work for me, and

  472. whatever it is I'll give you. So it seems I

  473. say the crieteria was. I do not want to see

  474. people aimless, unwanted, or unproductive. God wants to see you productive.

  475. I want to give you a testimony. And all those

  476. you who have seen me during premitting already know. So

  477. just bear with me. Okay. The last time I came here,

  478. the last time I came up to preach, I could

  479. barely walk, if you remember, because my right knee was there.

  480. I struggled up the stairs and I was hobbling around it.

  481. It was the last It was one month ago, all right.

  482. And I hurt my knee on December eighteen, twenty twenty

  483. five doing someone going up and down the ladder, and

  484. I hurt my knee. I thought it would go away.

  485. It didn't go away, just go worse. I went to

  486. the hospital, got it x ray. They said, nothing is

  487. wrong with your bone. Oh it's your age, your muscles.

  488. You need to go for physiotherapies. Your muscles. Is I'm

  489. not ninety five, okay, I'm just sixty five. What is this?

  490. Cannot walk properly? So I went to the Lord, and

  491. I won't tell you how. I'll just cut the long

  492. story shot. One day, a person who's doing physiotherapy who

  493. happens to be uh the professor in the University of

  494. Cybergaya in this field, so me, Hey, you're having trouble

  495. walking out? Yeah, yeah, ye, you know. I don't know

  496. what's wrong. I've took it. I've taken an extray. Nothing wrong,

  497. But say you come and see me. When can you come? Okay,

  498. I'll come tomorrow Monday, So when you see this is

  499. the day after the service. I went to see him.

  500. He checked me out. I said, so, your doctor said

  501. nothing wrong? Yeah, yeah, yeah, extray nothing wrong. He says, well,

  502. I want you to know. Your right knee is dislocated.

  503. The kneecap was two inches lower than the left, is

  504. completely out of place. And then he said, hey, don't worry.

  505. You know why you know, I just there. He never

  506. even gave me a chance while talking. Suddenly I heard

  507. the sound he put it back in place. Immediately I

  508. could move my knee. Why that other doctor couldn't see

  509. is because swelling made it seem like I had a

  510. proper kneeked. Within two days after that, I started walking

  511. ten fifteen kilometers again two days. God saw me doing

  512. his work and whatever was good to him he would

  513. give me at the end of my workday. And I said, okay.

  514. And what did he do? He healed my knee. Guys,

  515. that's what God is all about. And if you think

  516. that's not amazing, it is like having a new knee.

  517. You know, I don't even realize my knee is there.

  518. For four months, I couldn't, but remember I have a

  519. right knee, because it's always telling me I'm here, I'm here,

  520. I'm here in the night. I can feel it in

  521. the night. It's painful. Now it's like I don't have

  522. a right knee. It's not speaking to me. Oh, it's okay.

  523. I don't mind. God, okay, so let's move on. You're

  524. doing okay, okay, they said to him, because nobody hired us. Hey, guys,

  525. there are people who just don't care about you. The

  526. world doesn't care about you. So God ask them, why

  527. no work? Nobody wants to hire us eleventh hour, one

  528. hour before the end of the day. Which boss you

  529. know would hire someone to work one hour before the

  530. day ends? I know if nobody except one what is

  531. his name? Jesus, Jesus, and you and I, we think

  532. he counts with us. If anything, God doesn't count with us.

  533. You know, God just wants to bless us. The world

  534. counts with us. The world is very calculative, as the

  535. first group of people verse eight. So when evening it comes,

  536. the owner of the vineyard said to his terns, call

  537. the laborers and give them their wages, beginning with the

  538. last first, beginning with the last first? Why why the

  539. last first? All of us need to understand that we

  540. have to see the grace of God working. What does

  541. that mean? Well, think of it this way. You and I,

  542. we work for thirty five years, forty years, fifty years,

  543. slog for the Lord. Then we go and be with

  544. the Lord. Right, but have you seen those people? Are

  545. you just go and share Jesus loves you. Yes, I

  546. receive it immediately. Knock off. They going to be with

  547. the Lord. Then you say, in my word, I have

  548. to work for forty years to get the same blessing

  549. this guy is, you say, and you see he just

  550. received the Lord. He's already in heaven and I'm here

  551. still working. You calculate that way, it's the grace of God.

  552. Do you understand that we have lived longer in God's grace.

  553. He is such a blessing. The guy who received the

  554. Lord's grace just before he passed away never got to

  555. experience that. Do you see like God sees? Nor the

  556. last shall be first? Okay? First in the first should

  557. be last. It's okay, grace, So you say, oh that further,

  558. he cannot receive the Lord until I go and be

  559. with the Lord. So he can only receive the Lord

  560. fifty years time. Come on? Is that the way we

  561. believe things? When your children are you think you want

  562. your children to go through your hachi before they are blessed,

  563. or you do everything so that they can get to

  564. a better stage faster than you. What do you do right?

  565. What is that first should be last and last? Ye'll

  566. be first? I had this question asked to me. One

  567. man asked me. He says, you know my child is

  568. on the spectrum. My child asked me this question. I'm

  569. always the last to finish. Why is that? Whereas all

  570. the other friends of mine they finish first. So when

  571. this man told me that, I just looked at him

  572. and said, tell your child. In God's house, the first

  573. shall be last and the last first. So it doesn't matter.

  574. It's not a question of speed. It's a question of

  575. do you know Jesus. It's never been a question of speed.

  576. Can we rejoice that others receive salvation and just make

  577. it as opposed to us who have known him for

  578. years and have to work for our salvation, work out

  579. our salvation Matthew twenty nine, twenty Verses ninety ten. And

  580. when those king who were hired about the eleventh hour,

  581. they each received her denarius. Wow, eleventh hour, Praise God.

  582. God is so merciful. Even the eleventh hour Christiana gets

  583. just to come and be with the Lord. I mean,

  584. that's wonderful. That's God's grace. But when the first came,

  585. they supposed that they were going to receive more, and

  586. likewise received each and Denarias you see, they negotiated the price.

  587. When you negotiate out of a human spirit, when you

  588. negotiate out of your own personal greed, when you negotiate

  589. out of your own personal desires, can you be satisfied?

  590. You see, you cannot satisfy yourself. There's only one who

  591. can satisfy you. Those of you that do not know Jesus.

  592. Let me say it plain and clear. Only Jesus can

  593. satisfy you. Only Jesus can satisfy you. Although they negotiated it,

  594. they were not happy. So can the element of grace

  595. we receive from God be earned? Can you earn grace?

  596. You cannot earn grace? Can it be battered? Can you

  597. exchange it? God, you give me a grace life, I'll

  598. give you five hours of service. It cannot. Grace is grace.

  599. God gives it to you because He loves you. You

  600. cannot earn it. Can it be negotiated? Well, this scripture

  601. tells us it cannot, shows us very clearly, cannot be negotiated.

  602. The natural, the way of the world is to one more.

  603. Because we feel entitled, we feel we have a right.

  604. That's the problem. We feel we have a right. We

  605. have no rights. The only right we should have is

  606. the right to receive Jesus christis Lord and save it,

  607. and to do whatever he tells us willingly. And when

  608. they had received it, they complained against the landowner, saying,

  609. these last men have worked only one hour, and you

  610. made them equal to us, who are born the burden

  611. of the heat of the day. Let me read to

  612. you from Romans six twenty three. It says for the

  613. wages of sin is death, but the gift of God

  614. is eternal life in Christ Jesus, our Lord. It's a gift.

  615. Are you working for the wage? Or are we receiving

  616. a gift? Guys, you and I we sit in this chair.

  617. Is it because we think we're earning a wage? It's

  618. a gift. So don't pat yourself on the shoulder when

  619. you say I just made it to church on time.

  620. You got nothing to be proud of because you could

  621. be looking at the Lord's gift and maybe just not

  622. looking at it the right way. The grace of God

  623. is not earned, It is received, it is accepted. You

  624. do not receive more of it because you got it early.

  625. But we should rejoice that we have had longer to

  626. live in it. We have had longer to live in

  627. the grace of God, and that should be a blessing

  628. in itself. Don't you think that is a reward in itself?

  629. Maybe that is why we grudge working for Jesus. Hm.

  630. We feel he is an unfair pay master. We feel

  631. that Jesus is an unfair pay master. You know, that's

  632. why this concept of fairness. How many of you like

  633. the concept of fairness. See you sure hands Okay, one

  634. honest person, praise the Lord. Okay, a fewer. Let me

  635. tell you something about fairness. Okay. Fairness is a human construct.

  636. Fairness is a human sentiment. Humans one fairness. God wants justness.

  637. God is a just God. If we are truthful, he

  638. is not fair, he is just. You know what is

  639. the thing about justness? Justness looks at the heart. Fairness

  640. looks at the external. That's why we cannot understand. I mean,

  641. it is unfair. Right, you work for thirty five years,

  642. then you go and be with the Lord, and you

  643. get the same well done, my good and faithful servin

  644. coming to the house of the Lord. Whereas the guy

  645. who just received the Lord five minutes before he passed

  646. away also says, well done, my good and faithful servien

  647. to enjoy the Lord. Not fair word ray not. But

  648. it's just. Why is it just? Because God died for

  649. everybody and anyone who receives the Lord, it is their

  650. right before the Lord to receive Jesus and to get

  651. into his house and to become saved and to be

  652. living with him forever. That's the way it is. Hey,

  653. when you change the way you look. When we change

  654. the way we look and move from fairness to justice,

  655. from fairness to justness, we understand our God better. We

  656. complain less. So what is the source of our complaint?

  657. We believe Jesus is unfair? Hah? Can we be honest

  658. about that? You want to change? Look at it? Honestly?

  659. God is a just the master. This one I have

  660. to use to Jesus voice again Matthew twenty, Verses thirteen

  661. and fourteen. But he but he answered one of them

  662. and said, friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did

  663. you not agree with me? For a denarius? Take what

  664. is yours and go your way. I wish to give

  665. to the last man the same as to you. I

  666. am not doing wrong just because you think it's unfair,

  667. because I am just. You never want God to tell

  668. you here's what you agreed, take and go. There are

  669. many people who have become very successful in life, and

  670. one wonders whether they ever make it to heaven or not.

  671. Scripture says it's easier for a camel to pass through

  672. the eye of needle than for Richmond to enter into heaven.

  673. Not impossible, just more difficult. Why is that it could

  674. be because of this right fairness versus justice. I'm doing

  675. no wrong. God is saying I own everything. If I

  676. want to give to someone, that is my choice. Why

  677. do you grudge me that? If you are working just

  678. for the pay or your give of yourself according to

  679. your perceived reward. Let's never work for the Lord like

  680. that done. We work according to how he thinks he

  681. should pay us, how we think he should pay us.

  682. Please don't do that. You work for the Lord because

  683. you love him. That should be the only criteria. M

  684. be satisfied, and be satisfied with your lord in life.

  685. That that's why. That's what it means by take what

  686. is yours and go your way. You don't ever want

  687. the Lord to count with you as you count with him.

  688. Bible says he owns a cattle of a thousand hills,

  689. All right, what does he do? And he decides to

  690. give you? Press down, shaking together, running over. That's how

  691. the Lord gives to you. Do you want him to

  692. count back the same way you count to him? You

  693. give one penny and he gives you back one penny?

  694. Is that what you want? But if you work for

  695. grace in your life, you will stay. Look at the

  696. persons who came in at nine, twelve, three and five.

  697. They had no agreement with him except to work, and

  698. whatever he decided to give them they would receive. Correct,

  699. What was that? The grace of God? But if you

  700. work for grace in your life, you will stay. You

  701. will stay, isn't it? What will your idea be? God?

  702. You are generous. I like the first group in negotiated

  703. unfair m Remember he just told those who were not

  704. satisfied to go if they were not satisfied. The only

  705. ones who made it fast were the first. Be careful

  706. if you are the first not to let greed, dissent, resentment,

  707. desire capture your heart. Let me give you a word

  708. of warning from scripture. Likewise, you young people, submit yourself

  709. to your elders. You know I always tell my kids

  710. before the age of ten, we are your world. When

  711. you become a teenager, you think we are irrelevant. You

  712. know it all, really, you know it always it what

  713. the scriptures say. Submit yourself to your elders, to people

  714. who have lived longer than you, to people who have

  715. eaten more Salt's Chinese saying, right, I've eaten more salt.

  716. I love salt by the way while people don't want

  717. to put a lot of salt in the food I love,

  718. so I love salty chips. I love salty food. Yes,

  719. all of you be submissive to one another and be

  720. clothed with what you may lay tea. You know what

  721. is humility? You don't know the best, you don't know

  722. it all. We're all in this together. Is so much

  723. better than I know it all. Hm. God resists the proud,

  724. but gives grace to the humble. This is in one

  725. Peter fivey five. Okay, but he gives more grace and

  726. therefore he says, God resists the proud and and but

  727. gives grace to the humble, repeated again. This son is

  728. in James four verse six. Okay, I just share it

  729. makes no sense and all h one Peter five five

  730. five five James Peter four six four five one up

  731. and then five six one down. So before and after

  732. always remember he gives grace to the humble. Right, it

  733. makes sense only to me. The longer we are served

  734. the Lord, can we rejoice that we have had more

  735. time to live and experience God's grace as opposed to

  736. receive it at the last minute. That's the only claim

  737. to fame I have, you know, the only claim to

  738. fame I have is I've lived longer as a believer,

  739. and I enjoyed blessing after blessing after blessing, miracle after

  740. miracle after miracle. Some miracles are too personal, I cannot

  741. share all right, but they are miracles none the same.

  742. And I think to myself, my word, Lord, you are

  743. so wonderful, You're so Intelli's amazing what you what you

  744. come up with. I always am amazed what God, what

  745. ideas God can give. And that's why God keeps on

  746. giving ideas, you know, because I do not say I'm

  747. smart enough to do it myself. Okay, we're coming to

  748. the end soon, okay. Us fifteen and sixteen. I have

  749. five minutes to go. Oh, praise the Lord. We're doing

  750. good time. You're all happy, right, somebody's even clapping. Okay?

  751. Verse fifteen. Is it not lawful for me? Okay, let's

  752. do this in Jesus woice again? Is it not lawful

  753. for me to do what I wish with my own things?

  754. Or is your eye evil? Because I am good? So

  755. the last will be first and the first last. For

  756. many a cord, but few chosen. God is good. God

  757. is good. Let us not have an evil eye against

  758. this good God. And you you know how we have

  759. an evil eye when we pronounce judgment on God. You say,

  760. we don't pronounce judgment or God. God, You're so unfair.

  761. How many of you have ever said that to God?

  762. I have God? You're so unfair? You know what? The

  763. scripture calls that an evil eye. We have seen wrong.

  764. But praise the Lord. He'll forgive us. Say God, forgive me. Lord.

  765. I was young and filled with foolish ideas. I did

  766. not know any better. Please forgive me in Jesus' name.

  767. And what does the Bible say? He forgives. God is sovereign.

  768. He answers to no one but himself. Okay, many are called,

  769. we are all called, all of us are called. But

  770. the chosen are those that receive His rewards with humility,

  771. alignment to His will and without murmuring. See that's the

  772. difference between called and chosen. We lose the chosen status

  773. to pride, greed, envy of the Master's generosity. How do

  774. we protect it? And this if you've forgotten everything about

  775. this message, if you can't remember anything about what I've shared, today.

  776. I want you to remember this. The reward, if you

  777. read the whole passage, The reward was not about the

  778. length of time worked. It has never been about the

  779. length of time worked. You know what was the reward.

  780. The reward was for saying yes to Jesus. Those that

  781. came at nine said what, Yes, come and work for me,

  782. and whatever is right I will give you. They said yes.

  783. The people that came in at twelve and at three,

  784. he said, what, come and work for me, and whatever

  785. is right I will give you what? Did they say? Yes?

  786. The person that came in at eleven o'clock, no, sorry,

  787. person that came in at five pm, He said, come

  788. and work for me and whatever is right, I will

  789. give you what? Did they say? Yes? And the Lord

  790. rewarded them. If you read that scripture, all these group

  791. of people, he did not say take and go. Is

  792. it in scripture? He only said it to one group

  793. of people, the people who negotiated their own way, who

  794. felt entitled and grumbled. You can say yes to the Lord.

  795. It has to be a genuine yes. So, guys, if

  796. you don't remember anything about what I've said this morning,

  797. just remember this. Say yes to Jesus. Each and every time.

  798. Serving the Lord doesn't mean that you know yourself like

  799. how you know I serve? Maybe I come up and share,

  800. or maybe it's he comes and plays a music instrument.

  801. But can you formally serve the Lord in arranging chairs?

  802. Do something in the house of the Lord. Do you

  803. know that it was not an informal arrangement? And pastors right,

  804. Look at all these things. Were they formal or informal arrangements?

  805. They were all formal arrangements. Come and work for you

  806. and I will pay you. What is right? All formal arrangements.

  807. God wants us to be involved in his house. Isn't

  808. it wonderful If everyone in the house the Lord is

  809. serving in some capacity, then we are all servants. We

  810. are not customers. Let us not be a customer. Let

  811. us be a servant of the Lord. Praise the Lord.

  812. I hope this word has reached you this morning. Let's

  813. say yes to the Lord.

  814. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
