And so God gave me.
-
These are the words God gave me.
-
I heard two words the last couple weeks as I've been praying because we kind of extended the time we were preaching together out and so I had more time than usual to prepare a message and so I'd been praying for a couple of weeks about what to share with y'all this morning.
-
I knew today was coming and I heard these two words.
-
The Holy Spirit said these two words to me.
-
I didn't hear an audible voice.
-
How many know that God speaks to you through the Holy Spirit?
-
In fact, the Bible tells us you're born again.
-
Paul talks about it.
-
He says it's an inward witness.
-
So I hear God all the time.
-
In fact a lot of times.
-
You'll notice when I'm preaching, I'll pause.
-
I usually stand on one side of the pulpit and I'll say uh-huh, uh-huh, thank you.
-
You know what that is.
-
I'm just hearing from God and I want to share what he wants me to share.
-
These are the two words that the Holy Spirit said to me.
-
He said I want you to share with your church these two words dream bigger, dream bigger.
-
I know Joshua and Caleb had to get the children of Israel that next generation.
-
They had to get them to dream bigger, because the first generation that came out of slavery, they came out, they went and smite out the land.
-
How many know, the land was just as good as God said.
-
It truly flowed with milk and honey.
-
But yet what did they say?
-
They said, oh, we can't go in there.
-
Everyone in there.
-
I don't believe they even talk like that.
-
I believe this is the way they sounded we can't go in there, they're too big and we're just little guys like grasshoppers, don't you believe?
-
The whiny little, snively guys, right, say stuff like that.
-
Then Joshua and Caleb are like are you kidding me?
-
We're well able, right, deep voice, let's go get it right now.
-
So they had to deal with a whole generation 40 years.
-
That whole generation died in the desert, didn't go into the promised land.
-
But think about this Joshua and Caleb had to stay on the next generation to make sure they didn't get the whining and complaining that their parents had.
-
Parents, don't be passing on no whining and complaining to your kids.
-
Brother Hagin said this.
-
He said I'd rather have someone in my church dealing dope than dealing doubt and unbelief.
-
I heard him say that.
-
I heard him say that in person.
-
One time I thought, man, if I'm a pastor, I don't know about that.
-
Brother Hagin, I think he's right.
-
I think he's right Now.
-
You dope dealers come in here now, but I get it.
-
So God said dream bigger.
-
And I truly believe this.
-
And this is what God said.
-
And I wrote a lot of these things down.
-
I put some notes in my phone, and a lot of times God will be speaking to me when I'm doing other things, and so I'll write something down.
-
Nicole and I talk about writing things down, make sure you have a way to write things down.
-
And so this is what I wrote down the Israelites needed the promised land so they could grow, so they could expand.
-
They needed a new land to grow in, amen.
-
And so think about it this way my grandma Craven, my grandma, had a green thumb.
-
She loved plants and she lived with us when I was little for a few years before she moved out, and so our house, we had this big stand that had all these houseplants on it and she was always taking care of them and always doing it, and each of us kids.
-
I remember I had this little white pot and it was in my bedroom and it had a violet in it and man, grandma was always planting and she was always taking plants and all of a sudden it'd be like well, this plant's getting too big so I need to take it out of this pot and put it in a bigger pot.
-
Well, how many know a plant can't grow any bigger if it's in too small a pot?
-
The plant wants to grow bigger, but it can't.
-
Why?
-
Because the pot's too small.
-
So what's God say?
-
Dream bigger Fish.
-
Do you know a fish will not outgrow its tank or its bowl.
-
I had a friend that had fish in college and he had these Oscars and he bought these Oscars at Walmart and they were like this, big, big.
-
Then he fed them goldfish.
-
Once they got big enough, he fed them.
-
Those things got to this big.
-
He kept having to get bigger tanks.
-
Another guy had piranha.
-
You'd feed those.
-
It was fun to watch when you were a kid.
-
It's just a guy thing.
-
The girl's like that sounds horrible.
-
We'd have like 20 guys in our room.
-
Are you going to feed the piranha today?
-
But, right, have you ever seen koi?
-
Right, do you know koi are just goldfish.
-
But you see them in a pond and they can be huge.
-
But if you've had a goldfish in a little tiny bowl or a little thing.
-
It's just this big.
-
You think well, how in the world, how come my goldfish didn't get bigger?
-
Because it needs a bigger environment.
-
I know God says to dream bigger.
-
Why?
-
Because all you're believing me for is these little things.
-
But if I can get you to expand, you can receive more than you ever thought, amen.
-
So let's look at a couple of scriptures here.
-
Let's go to Joshua 24.
-
We're going to look at verse 13 in Joshua 24.
-
So continue to talk here about the Israelites.
-
Joshua 24, 13,.
-
God says I have given you a land for which you did not labor, cities which you did not build and you dwell in them.
-
You eat of vineyards and olive groves which you did not plant.
-
So what's God saying?
-
Look, I'm taking you to a place you didn't even have to do anything.
-
Do you believe that was beyond their wildest dream?
-
Just imagine that God says hey, you like olives, I'm going to move you in a place.
-
Someone else already took the time to plant those olive groves.
-
They tended them, they grew them up, right?
-
I'm looking back here, larry and Linda, I know they have a big garden, right?
-
What if God led them and said hey, I have a new house for you and the house is perfect for them, has everything that, linda.
-
I'm leaving you out, larry, because it doesn't really matter what you think when it comes to a house, right, but everything that Linda's ever dreamed about in a house to not only be able to be a blessing into the two of you as a couple, but when the family comes over and people come and boy, it's just perfect and it's just arranged exactly the way you like it, and even the walls are painted the color you like and the flowers out front are just like you like.
-
And then, when you look out the back patio door, there's a garden that's already been planted, that's already been perfectly marked, that's already exactly the way you'd want it.
-
Because most of the time when you move into a new house, right, the first thing you think is like, well, we got to change this, we're going to have to change that paint, we're going to have to do this.
-
We may have to right depending on your wife knock this wall out and expand this and do this Right.
-
Some of you have been dealing with it.
-
Chris and Sean have been dealing with it, but God says, god says someone's going to build something just for you.
-
They thought they were building it for them.
-
In fact, they weren't even sure why they put that finished basement in.
-
They weren't even sure why they added that extra bedroom.
-
They're not even sure why they made the bathroom that way, or the kitchen kitchen this way, or put in the extra storage.
-
They're just like, well, I guess we just do this.
-
They didn't even know it wasn't even for them, it was for you.
-
God says there are going to be things that are already taken care of.
-
That's how good God is.
-
But what do we have to do to get there?
-
We've got to dream bigger.
-
We've got to dream bigger.
-
Let's look at Isaiah 54.
-
Isaiah 54, verses 2 and 3.
-
Thank you, lord.
-
Listen to what the prophet Isaiah said.
-
This is a prophecy from God and it is as true today to us as it was when Isaiah wrote this down.
-
Listen to what God is saying to you.
-
How about this?
-
Everybody repeat after me Say the Bible.
-
Is God speaking to me?
-
So we're going to read the Bible.
-
So what is this?
-
This is God speaking to you.
-
This is what God wants you to hear today.
-
Enlarge the place of your tent.
-
Let them stretch out the curtains of your dwelling.
-
Do not spare.
-
Lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.
-
Anyone ever put a tent up?
-
I remember when I was in college my fraternity we made some money putting big tents up for tailgates at Mizzou.
-
They would pay us to go put those big tents up for groups to come and have a tailgate at.
-
You ever put up like a big tent?
-
I know it doesn't come with the little stakes you get with your little two-man tent from Walmart.
-
I mean it comes with big stakes and it takes a guy to hold that thing in.
-
It takes a couple guys with sledgehammers to put those things down.
-
We drive them down through the asphalt in parking lots.
-
Put those things down.
-
We drive them down through the asphalt and parking lots.
-
I know you don't go put up your little door of the Explorer tent with big stakes like that.
-
No circus tent.
-
You ever see a circus tent?
-
Right, big stakes.
-
What's God say I need you to expand what you're doing.
-
Now look at what it says, For you shall expand to the right and left, but you're not going to expand until you start dreaming and thinking bigger.
-
He says you got to enlarge your own tent to receive what I've got for you?
-
What does God have?
-
God wants you to expand to the right and the left, not just you.
-
Look at what it says, and your descendants will inherit the nations and make desolate cities, inhabited Desolate cities.
-
Now.
-
So think about this.
-
What dead like a ghost town.
-
God says I'm going to take you in there and it's going to be beautiful.
-
I'm going to turn it around, but what do you got to do?
-
Dream bigger.
-
Everybody say dream bigger, dream bigger.
-
I've got to dream bigger.
-
You know, in the Bible, joseph was a dreamer.
-
When I thought of dreaming, the first person that came to mind was Joseph.
-
Joseph, right.
-
So we have Abraham, who had a covenant with God.
-
We have his son, isaac, which God promised him and gave him.
-
So we have Abraham Isaac, and then we have Isaac's had a couple sons, and the one that was part of the lineage here is Jacob.
-
And then Jacob had 12 boys and one of those boys was Joseph.
-
And Joseph is just, you know, being a kid, and all of a sudden he grows up and he's got all these brothers and he's one of the younger ones and he has a dream.
-
And in this dream he has a couple dreams.
-
So one, right, it's the stars worshiping the moon.
-
And then he has a dream where these stalks of wheat are bowed down and they're worshiping him.
-
And so Joseph already had a little trouble with his brothers because he had the fancy coat, because he was daddy's favorite.
-
My sister Ramona, she found this old article from the Albany Ledger and in it I think it was part of like a school newspaper part that they used to put in the paper, and in it they had interviewed my mom and my mom was just talking about being a mom and cooking and stuff, and so she shared some recipe stuff and she was talking about cooking and she said, oh, this recipe.
-
And she goes, this recipe I make, cf really likes this recipe.
-
Then you read the rest of it, they're all like, oh, isn't this neat?
-
And I said I'm not trying to say anything.
-
I said I'm the only child that she mentions in this interview.
-
I don't know.
-
I mean there are five of us.
-
She could have said Kent like this, or Kevin like this, or Ramona or Glenis your names aren't in there.
-
She said this, this one.
-
CF really likes this one.
-
So my sister Ramona, she's like well, you know, I think each of us at one point were her favorites and stuff.
-
She goes you were Grandma Craven's favorite, probably.
-
But I'm like, well, I'm just saying I'm the only one she mentioned.
-
So that was Joseph, right?
-
This is why I identify with Joseph being a favorite child, Praise the Lord.
-
And so Joseph was dad's favorite, so he had some problems with his brothers.
-
Then can you imagine he comes up and he says hey, you guys know, I think sometimes I'm going to be a leader and you guys are going to bow down and worship at my feet.
-
They're like that's it, we're done, the fancy coat was enough, we're done, let's kill him.
-
Then they're like let's not kill him, let's just sell him to some gypsies.
-
Any older siblings ever think about selling your younger siblings to gypsies?
-
Your parents catch you.
-
Where are you taking them?
-
Selling gypsies?
-
It's in the bible, I don't know.
-
It's in the bible.
-
How many of you know you're not supposed to do everything in the bible?
-
So he sold them to gypsies.
-
So he sold into slavery, ends up, gets to Egypt and because God's blessing was upon him, god's favor, no matter where you're at right, even in the pit, god can have his hand upon you.
-
So he ends up being a servant in Potiphar's house, who was a leader to the king of Egypt.
-
And then Potiphar's wife hits on him, lies about it, he gets thrown into jail.
-
And you think, well, what about his dream?
-
I know God's thoughts for you and dreams for you don't change based on your circumstance.
-
I got to dream bigger.
-
He still had this dream.
-
And then we see within the jail, right, a man comes in and he's there and he's got a dream, and David interprets and the man gets out and Joseph says hey, when you get out, make sure to mention me that I did this, get me out.
-
And then he gets out and you know what he does Doesn't even mention Joseph.
-
He's like oh, I interpreted that.
-
All right, how would you like to be Joseph?
-
You're like are you kidding me?
-
And so he's still in jail.
-
But then he gets promoted in jail.
-
Why, god's favor, god's blessing, but he's still holding on to the dream.
-
I know God wants you to hold on to the dream.
-
There are some dreams that God gave you when you were young.
-
God says I want you to hold on to those dreams.
-
Man, I was such a daydreamer when I was a kid.
-
Parents, don't ever squash dreaming in your child.
-
Your kid will say man, I dream I'm going to be president.
-
I dream, man, praise the Lord.
-
I know we need good presidents.
-
You see what happens when you don't have good leaders.
-
We need good presidents.
-
You see what happens when you don't have good leaders.
-
I got a dream.
-
I got a dream I'm going to be this, I'm going to be, praise God.
-
Then, right, the king has a dream that no one can interpret it, none of his wise men.
-
So they bring Joseph.
-
They're like well, there was this guy that interpreted a dream before Bring him out.
-
He interprets the dream seven years of blessing, followed by seven years of famine.
-
So the king is able to prepare for the famine and they save up all this stuff.
-
Well then, what ends up happening?
-
Israel doesn't have any food.
-
So they send Joseph's dad, jacob sends his brothers, joseph's brothers, to Egypt to ask for food.
-
And they get there and guess what?
-
They bowed down before their brother, exactly like he'd seen in his dream.
-
If you'll stick with it, if you'll stick with it, the dream that God has given you, you'll see it come to fruition.
-
You'll see it come to pass.
-
But you've got to dream bigger.
-
Amen, enlarge your tent.
-
What does enlarge your tent mean?
-
It means you need to enlarge your capacity to receive from God 10 minutes.
-
It means you need to enlarge your capacity to receive from God.
-
Nicole and I, right, we got to the point and we said, boy, we'd really like, instead of just buying meat, we'd like to be able to get half a beef get butchered.
-
Well, all we had we had a fridge and another fridge.
-
I know two little freezers above your fridge or beside your fridge isn't enough to put half a beef.
-
You know what we did?
-
Went and bought a big old, upright freezer.
-
Why we needed to enlarge our capacity to receive.
-
You need to enlarge your capacity to receive.
-
Go over with me to 1 Chronicles 4.
-
1 Chronicles 4 and verse 10.
-
So this is a prayer.
-
Honestly, that became really popular, I believe, in the early 2000s.
-
I know my mom had like a little magnet on her fridge that had this prayer.
-
So 1 Chronicles 4, verse 10 is what we're going to read.
-
Thank you, lord.
-
So this is what we know as the Jabez prayer.
-
So there's this man here in the Old Testament, jabez, and we see he's a good, godly man.
-
And listen to what his prayer was.
-
Jabez called on God, the God of Israel, saying listen to what his prayer was oh God, that you would bless me, indeed, and enlarge my territory, that your hand would be with me, that you would keep me from evil, that I would cause no pain.
-
So God granted him what he prayed.
-
So what was his prayer?
-
God enlarge me.
-
You know God wants to enlarge you.
-
Why?
-
So you can be a blessing, so other people can look and say, man, how did that happen in your life?
-
You say, man, god did it.
-
Jabez said, man, god blessed me.
-
You know what I prayed for God to enlarge my territory.
-
And he did.
-
Why?
-
So I can have more to bless others with Amen.
-
No, I've got to dream bigger.
-
You know, in Acts, chapter 2, the day of Pentecost, people get filled with the Holy Ghost, it tells us.
Acts 2 chapter mention
-
In Acts 2, it says when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all in one place and one accord, right up in the upper room, and there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind and there appeared unto them cloven tongues of fire that set upon each one of them and they all began to pray in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.
-
Right, that's Acts 2, 1 through 4.
-
Spilled out into the streets.
-
Spilled out into the streets and people are like ah, they're drunk man, they're just happy praying in the Holy Ghost.
-
Peter stands up, says this is that.
-
He says these are not drunk, as you suppose.
-
This is that which is spoken by the prophet Joel.
-
Then he quotes the prophet Joel.
-
He says in the last days God will pour out his spirit on all flesh.
-
Then he quotes what's going to happen in flesh.
-
Some of the things he quotes.
-
He says you're going to have visions.
-
Then he says you're going to dream dreams.
-
I know God wants you to dream.
-
You ever drive by the gas station when the lottery is so big it doesn't fit on that sign.
-
You dream You're like man.
-
What would it be like to have that?
-
What could I do if I had that?
-
You dream you think about the house you'd build.
-
You think about the car you'd buy.
-
You think about the vacation you'd take.
-
You think about all the people you could give to right?
-
Sometimes I will get on my calculator late at night and I'll put in a large number.
-
If you ever want to just do this.
-
There are people that are millionaires A million dollars.
-
I would take a million dollars a day.
-
If someone just said I'd like to give you a million, I would take it.
-
But if you just put in a million and then start going through your list of stuff, you go through a million pretty quick.
-
I know you don't think you would, but you do.
-
Especially if you're giving and doing, you go through a million pretty quick.
-
Well, you say, okay, how about 100 million?
-
Okay, that's a lot, but you can still go through 100 million.
-
You're like, what about a billion?
-
Man?
-
We're getting there at a billion.
-
But I would encourage you, try this number out for size 1 trillion.
-
That is a 1 with 12 zeros.
-
If you use your phone as a calculator, you're going to have to turn it sideways, because if your phone's like mine, I think 10 billion or 99 billion is as high as it goes Turn it sideways.
-
A trillion.
-
And I've done it before.
-
I put a trillion in and then I'm like I'm giving this and I'm doing this.
-
Right, if I ever have a trillion.
-
One thing I said I said, man, I can't wait till that.
-
Next Sunday I'm going to have envelopes and cards, everyone that walks in getting a million dollars, going to hand every family a million dollars.
-
Here's a million for you, right?
-
I'm like Oprah, you get a million, you get a million.
-
I know you'd be glad you came to church that Sunday.
-
Pastor handed out million dollar checks.
-
Then I'm like I'd give this much money to each of my siblings and Nicole's siblings I get an amen from this side Like I could give them each a hundred million dollars, 50 million dollars.
-
I give each of my nieces and nephews 10 billion dollars.
-
I could just go to Petty John's and say hey, next Sunday I want a bunch of trucks and cars outside of Lone Star.
-
People just show up and say you enjoy that million last week.
-
Go get you a new car today, new pickup today, praise the Lord, petty John's would be happy, you'd be happy, we'd all be happy, right?
-
I'm buying houses, I'm buying land, I'm taking vacations, I'm getting new cars.
-
I've done all that.
-
I've went through all the numbers and so a trillion is basically 1,000 billion and I've done all that and I'm like I've given to ministries and I'm building churches and I'm building us a church and I'm building churches all over and I'm sending missionaries and building Bible colleges and I'm like I've spent some money.
-
And then I look at that calculator it says $998 billion left.
-
I've spent $2 billion doing everything my little pea brain could think of at the most generous way I thought I could do, and I couldn't even crack.
-
I mean I couldn't even put a dent in a trillion.
-
So what's God say?
-
Dream bigger.
-
You thought that would do no.
-
Dream bigger, think bigger, amen.
-
Let's go over here to Ephesians, chapter 3.
Ephesians 3 chapter mention
-
Ephesians 3 and verse 20.
-
We're going to look at this in a couple of different translations here.
-
We'll look at it here in the New King James.
-
Look at Ephesians 3.20.
-
If you've been praying the Ephesians prayers Ephesians 1 and 3, then you've seen this verse.
-
Lewis says now to him God, who is able?
-
How many believe God is able?
-
Everybody say God is able.
-
What's he able to do?
-
Well, aren't you thankful?
-
Paul tells us he's able to do exceedingly, abundantly above.
-
I don't know Paul could have just wrote you know God's able to do above, but he didn't do that.
-
Paul used some extra words there.
-
He said exceedingly abundantly above All.
-
What?
-
All that you could ask, all that you could thank According to what His power that works in us Put up the Passion Translation.
-
Look at this in the Passion Translation, ephesians 3.20.
-
I like it.
-
Paul says never doubt you know what God's telling you today.
-
Never doubt what God's mighty power to do what, to work in you and accomplish all this, all that had been prayed before.
-
Now look at what God will do.
-
He will achieve infinitely more.
-
You remember when you first found out about the word infinity, man?
-
I remember I was a kid.
-
You'd be like I don't like you times 10.
-
I don't like you times 100.
-
You go back I don't like you infinity.
-
Then, when you're a kid, you know what you do.
-
I don't like you infinity plus one, because you don't know any better.
-
Our minds cannot grasp what infinity is.
-
Your mind has a real hard time with a trillion.
-
My mind does, but infinitely more.
-
That means you can't even fathom how much more God will do for you than you can dream.
-
What is it?
-
Infinitely more than what your greatest request you ever make, a request that you think is pretty great.
-
Hey, my birthday's coming up.
-
What would you like for dinner?
-
I got a request.
-
I want a big old, thick steak.
-
How about lobster?
-
How about some shrimp?
-
How about this?
-
You're like what do you think of that.
-
Well, I don't know, we can do a couple of those things.
-
How about a steak this big and a can of tuna fish?
-
Right, it says infinitely more than your greatest request.
-
Not only that your most unbelievable dream you ever dream about things.
-
Right, sometimes you just dream about a sandwich.
-
I'm just dreaming about a sandwich Right now.
-
Right, it's almost like I'm just dreaming about a sandwich.
-
But it says, no, your unbelievable dreams.
-
I like to dream and look at things.
-
I've always been that way.
-
I've been a big dreamer since I was a kid.
-
It says exceed your wildest imagination.
-
So sometimes I will look at floor plans of houses and stuff.
-
And so I was thinking I'm like, maybe if I could buy and I was looking, I'll get on Zillow or Realtorcom.
-
And one time I was looking I was like I wonder what the biggest plot of land you could buy in Montana or Wyoming is.
-
Land you could buy in Montana, wyoming is.
-
I found one in Montana.
-
It was like 12,000 acres.
-
You could see the mountains, you had all these streams and stuff.
-
I'm like, okay, no one mess with me on 12,000 acres, I'll have my own show on Paramount.
-
12,000 acres.
-
I'm like, well, if I'm going to have 12,000 acres, I'm going to need a house fitting of 12,000 acres.
-
So I found just recently I found this website of these people that build custom log cabins and so all the plans they have are ones they've actually built.
-
But you can get one similar, they say.
-
You can pick whatever you want.
-
You know what the largest log cabin they have on there I double-checked in between services to make sure Largest log cabin they have plan that they've built 37,000 square feet of cabin.
-
You say I wouldn't want to clean that.
-
I'm going to tell you right now if you can afford 37,000 square feet, you ain't cleaning it, you got a staff.
-
If you got 37,000 square feet, I think it had like 17 bedrooms, like 25 bathrooms, indoor pool, movie theater for 25 people.
-
I look at that sometimes I'm like boy, I don't need that.
-
But wouldn't that be something just to see?
-
Wouldn't that just be something to see Just in your mind?
-
You're like I can't even imagine.
-
That's beyond my wildest imagination.
-
I don't know.
-
Can I tell you those things actually exist?
-
That means, if they exist, that doesn't even outdo your most unbelievable dream.
-
That means you're like I need an 80,000-square-foot cabin.
-
He'll outdo them all.
-
What's God want you to do Start to dream bigger.
-
So with that fact, I'm going to close here in just a moment.
-
So we are believing for land for a church.
-
I'm continuing to talk to realtors and talk to people, and so I was speaking to a friend of mine in St Louis and he's looking for land, and so this is what he said to me the other day on the phone.
-
He called me out of the blue and I know it was God and he said CF, this is what we're believing for.
-
And I said, man, that is good, I'm going to write that down.
-
So this is what he said about the land his church is looking for there in the suburbs of St Louis.
-
He said our new property needs to first be highly visible.
-
Well, what do we know about Lone Star?
-
Currently, we are not highly visible.
-
I'm out here throughout the week and the two people that happen to get lost and drive by here.
-
It is not highly visible.
-
That's why we're looking somewhere in the Highway 136 corridor between Albany and Bethany.
-
We want to be highly visible.
-
The next thing he said we want it to be easily accessible.
-
What did you notice on your drive to Lone Star today?
-
Was it easily accessible?
-
It was not easily accessible.
-
I said, man, I'm right.
-
I said this is just what.
-
And he and I have talked about numerous times how our churches are really in parallel with each other.
-
So I said, man, if that's what they're doing, I said I believe that's what God has for us Highly visible, easily accessible.
-
He said affordable.
-
Praise the Lord, we're believing it's not going to be exorbitant, the land that we're looking for, but it doesn't matter what the price is.
-
God is bigger than that and with future potential, meaning you're not just landlocked that, you have the ability.
-
If you need to build something else, you can do it, and so with that, I'm going to have Chris and if someone wants to help him, I made these little cards the other day and it's going to be kind of hard to see, but I've been looking at floor plans for a number of years and I printed out one, not that I would say is perfect, but has a lot of what I would like, and I will.
-
If anyone asks, I'll try to find a way to send a link to this online, because it is online that you can see it a little better, but you can get magnifying glass and see that, or if you just yeah, and so this isn't exactly it, but it has a lot of the stuff I like, and so you see a nice large foyer there and it has over on the left, when you get it, a little area for coffee and stuff, you know linked up area.
-
And then there in the front, in the middle, are offices.
-
It sure be nice for people that are doing stuff at church to have an office to go to and be able to go into.
-
And then it has classrooms that we could have for not only the children but also for some adult things that we'd like to add and be able to do.
-
And then at the top, if you look at the top, there's a fairly large room there at the top on the left that kind of has a little area that looks like a stage and it is.
-
That is the youth room.
-
So the youth would have an area to have their own ministry and places to worship, and then it would have a sanctuary.
-
I think the sanctuary would fit like 385, 400 people how many?
-
Know you don't want to build it just big enough.
-
Well, you know we want to hold an extra 15 people.
-
Well, you'd outgrow that pretty quick, god already told me.
-
Once we move, because we will now be highly visible and easily accessible, that we will see some really large growth fairly quickly because of those things.
-
And so you want to make sure you're big enough, but you don't want it so cavernous that it feels like you've got five people sitting in a thousand seat auditorium, and so we've looked at that and so that's not exactly it, but it's definitely an area.
-
So you say, well, why did you hand these out to us?
-
Because I want you to look at that and start to dream about it.
-
I look at this often.
-
Honestly.
-
I probably look at these plans and I've got about 10 of them that are similar, but this is one of my favorite ones.
-
I look at them probably every week.
-
I look at them.
-
I'm like man, that'd be awesome.
-
And there are some things.
-
I was talking to someone in between services.
-
I'm like there are some things I'd tweak and change and do something a little different or add this or that.
-
But I want you to need to get your dreams in front of you, because there are things that God will show you, and there are things right now.
-
I know that God has shown some of you in the past and you thought, well, that will never happen.
-
Or you thought how in the world am I going to make that happen?
-
You know, when the angel told Mary that she was going to have a child, she said how can that be?
-
I've never been with a man.
-
You know what God's given some of you some dreams, and you know what you said how can that be?
-
I can't do that.
-
You know what the angel answered to Mary.
-
He said the Holy Spirit is going to come upon you.
-
You know how you're going to get the dream God's given you.
-
The Holy Spirit's going to give you a path to get there, but you've got to walk it out.
-
Some, some of you and Nicole and I, we prayed about this and we talked about this honestly years ago probably 10 years ago or more longer than that and God told us.
-
He said there are people within your church that have million-dollar ideas.
-
Can I tell you, some of you.
-
Those ideas have already come to your mind and you thought what do I do with that idea?
-
There was something.
-
Years ago I had an idea for this little invention.
-
It wasn't much, it was a little ago.
-
I had an idea for this little invention.
-
It wasn't much, it was a little invention.
-
I did nothing with it.
-
I thought what am I going to do?
-
I think I was like 20 years old at the time.
-
What am I going to do with that?
-
You know what?
-
About eight or ten years later, I got on an airplane looking in one of those catalogs before we had phones and stuff and I looked and I opened up dollar idea.
-
But I didn't do anything with it.
-
So don't just have the dream, start to seek God.
-
How am I supposed to walk this out?
-
How am I supposed to get there?
-
Maybe you don't have all the answers, Guess what You're probably not going to, but the Holy Spirit does, and maybe not only he'll reveal them to you, but he'll tell you go talk to this person and you go talk to that person.
-
That person will unlock it.
-
They'll lead you to the next person, the next step Right.
-
Sometimes I feel like we're the people that are sitting on top of our roofs and the flood came and a boat comes by and a helicopter comes by, everything comes by, and we're like God, why aren't you doing anything?
-
God says I gave you ways out.
-
Everybody say dream bigger.
-
Now I'm telling you you, we're going to start to dream bigger.
-
I'm going to start to dream bigger.
-
I've I've allowed doubt and and things to cloud my mind at times, to the point where we don't talk about our dreams enough.
-
We, we, we, we discourage our dreams within people in the church.
-
We discourage dreamers in our, in our family and our kids.
-
Kids say something you're like hey, I want to go to vacation here.
-
My kids crazy ideas.
-
My son's always sending me I hope he's watching it.
-
He's always sending me to hey, dad, I think you should buy this.
-
The other day he's like he, he, he and I talk, he goes, I think you should get the there, there's a car we were talking about.
-
He said no, I really do think you should get this.
-
I'm like boy, you know, I'm just saying or he'll say you know where it would be a really good place to go on vacation?
-
I'm like Branson.
-
He's like Tokyo, dubai, right, he's always saying this.
-
But you know what we do.
-
We're like are you kidding me?
-
We can't do that.
-
We can't go to Cameron, stay at that hotel with the water slide that comes outside by McDonald's.
-
Seriously, do we not do that all the time?
-
You know what we should do.
-
Man, dream bigger.
-
You know what I've started doing with Bo when he says stuff like that.
-
I said, okay, tokyo.
-
I said I looked up airline tickets to Tokyo, bo.
-
I said you know what I looked up?
-
I looked up those ones that lay flat.
-
I said you know what it'd take for us to go to Tokyo?
-
Lay flat the whole way.
-
He said how much?
-
I said about $30,000.
-
No, total, that's total About $34,000.
-
What do we do?
-
Dream big?
-
I don't know.
-
You want your kids to dream big.
-
You don't want your kids.
-
You know what I dream of?
-
Daddy, what, having just a little more than you and Mommy.
-
No, you should dream bigger than Mommy and I, man, be a dreamer.
-
Joseph was a dreamer.
-
You know what he got?
-
Everything that God showed him in his dream.
-
Man, I hope something stirred on the inside of you today.
-
Something stirred, I hope, that a fire that maybe went out years ago that all of a sudden you're like I'm lighting that thing back up today.
-
I'm going to light that fire, amen.
-
