  4. If you live in Northwest Missouri or Southern Iowa, we invite you to join us in person on a Sunday morning.

  6. The following is the third in a series of messages by guest minister, reverend Joseph Morris.

  7. Jesus, talking about authority, said I cast out devils with the finger of God, in other words, get away from them like that.

  8. Praise the Lord, amen, glory to God.

  9. Thank you for coming this morning.

  10. I sure have had a great time here with you.

  11. Man, I love everybody so hungry.

  12. Everybody loves the word.

  13. That means you get a good diet all the time.

  14. That's the way it should be.

  15. Just get good word, good word, good word, hallelujah.

  16. Sometimes we think well why we always are wanting to get everybody to come to church.

  17. It's the entrance of his word that gives light and it's the incorruptible seed.

  18. When it's sown, it grows up and it becomes.

  19. As a kid, you know, my mom did all her confessions when she got a hold of the word.

  20. I mean she could take her confession pack.

  21. We'd go water skiing She'd have confession packs on the boat.

  22. We'd go on vacation on the beach she's got her confession packs.

  23. We'd go to the pool she's got confession packs.

  24. She made me confess the word every single day.

  25. I made my daughter confess the word every single day.

  26. I can still go through all of them.

  27. I'd go Lauren, have you done your confessions?

  28. It's not about doing something to make it like a habit, it's that when you're sowing those words, they grow up and they become After being around.

  29. You know Brother Hagin's ministry for so many years.

  30. I went to Ramah 45 years ago, which I cannot believe that I was six, praise the Lord.

  31. And you know you hear Brother Hagin teach on Mark 11, 23 and 24.

  32. And the Lord showed me one time.

  33. He said you can you 11, 23, and 24.

  34. And the Lord showed me one time.

  35. He said you'll like this because you guys are taught the word so well.

  36. Jesus showed them.

  37. You can use your faith for desserts, figs.

  38. You can use your faith for obstacles, mountains, and you can use it for desires.

  39. So two-thirds of your faith were dessert and desires.

  40. One-third of your faith was to move a mountain.

  41. You don't even need all your faith to move a mountain, so two-thirds of your faith was to move a mountain.

  42. You don't even need all your faith to move a mountain.

  43. So two thirds of your faith was just to make you smile.

  44. Dessert and desires.

  45. Hallelujah, he wants you happy, amen.

  46. So we've been getting into end times.

  47. Lots of stuff happening all over the world right now.

  48. I mean just one thing after another, specifically with Iran, turkey and Russia the nations that are listed that attack Israel just after we leave.

  49. So those nations are all in position right now, which is kind of remarkable.

  50. If you had a checklist over the years I'd go okay.

  51. When I see that I'm going to freak out, when I see that I'm going to freak out, when I see that I'm going to freak out and pretty much all the freak outs have happened, I'm like wow.

  52. Like when you're playingts, they're doing some passes and all that.

  53. But when everybody lines up on the 35 or whatever yard line, you know that they're about to kick off, you know the game's about to start.

  54. And you got all the players for the Ezekiel 38 war.

  55. They're lined up ready to play.

  56. So it just means that the rapture is really closer than we think.

  57. So we're about to have a great change.

  58. So we'll get into a lot of that this morning.

  59. So grab your Bibles.

  60. I'll give you a couple of testimonies, maybe just one or two, and turn to Luke 21 again.

  61. I remember one time I was in Australia, I was in Sydney, I'd been to Brisbane and had a great time at the school there and then, when I was in Sydney, the worship pastor.

  62. He told his wife whatever you do, you make sure our daughter comes to church today because he had to go early to get ready for worship and all that.

  63. And he said, whatever you do, make sure she comes, because if she was tired or whatever didn't feel like going, you know sometimes that might happen.

  64. But he said you drag her, bring her to church.

  65. She didn't really want to come to church because she didn't want to hear about end times because she said, well, the end times guy's there and I don't really like end times.

  66. So I was preaching along and she was there about on the second row.

  67. I didn't know who she was but you could tell communication.

  68. 57% of communication is facial expression.

  69. 7% of what someone says is what people really get.

  70. So she's communicating to me with her face and her body language.

  71. She did not want to be there and so I was preaching along and I had a word of knowledge at the end that someone had burst their tailbone and I don't think I'd heard the words like the Lord said it like that and I said you're healed After the service.

  72. That young lady that didn't want to come, they drug her there.

  73. That morning.

  74. She came down.

  75. She said I'm eighth in pole vaulting in the nation of Australia.

  76. She said she was up real high and came back and landed right on her tailbone and hadn't been able to hardly sleep at night.

  77. And here the Lord healed her, just like that.

  78. Didn't want to come mad, because she's there and the Lord reaches out and loves on her.

  79. His mercy endures forever.

  80. Amen.

  81. Michael Calswip's church.

  82. I was praying for different people and the last night of the service there's someone here.

  83. It's like your sinuses got fried.

  84. I didn't really know what that meant, but I said you're healed.

  85. This lady came up to me afterwards and said listen.

  86. She said all day today I said over and over and over again there's no way he's going to call out what's wrong with me.

  87. There's no way he's going to call out what's wrong with me.

  88. There's no the opposite of the one with issue of blood like zero faith.

  89. And the last thing I called out was what was wrong with her.

  90. She got healed on that last one.

  91. She came down freaking out.

  92. I said the Lord is so merciful because that's not the normal way you receive, the normal ways you believe you receive and you have not doubt, doubt, doubt, doubt, doubt, doubt, doubt and call it.

  93. Look how kind he is to do that just to love on his kids.

  94. His mercy is amazing.

  95. So let's pray, father.

  96. We thank you for your word today.

  97. Thank you for everyone that came out laurel sunday morning to hear your word.

  98. Bless them.

  99. I thank you for great strength and great peace have they that love thy law, and nothing shall offend them.

  100. Nothing can even come them, because greater is he that's in them than he that's in this world.

  101. Lord, we thank you that you've redeemed us from the curse of the law poverty, sickness and spiritual death.

  102. We have great peace today because we know who we are in Christ.

  103. Lord, you've already presented us holy, unblameable and unreprovable in your sight.

  104. So thank you for redeeming us.

  105. Thank you for making us like you, making us righteous.

  106. We're so amazed that you gave your life, so we honor you every service.

  107. We honor you, magnify you and glorify you.

  108. Help us, father, help us, every person in this room, for them to be a voice, to be a voice to wake up this generation that the king's about to come back.

  109. We thank you for that, lord.

  110. Give them grace, give them strength.

  111. We thank you for it.

  112. Father, in Jesus' wonderful name, Everybody say amen.

  113. I didn't say go to Luke, right, go to Luke 21.

  114. I don't know where I told you to go Luke 21,.

  115. Two minutes of review and you know it real well.

  116. But Jesus here in Luke 21 gives us some verses that make it super easy.

  117. And we're there in verse 24 of Luke 21.

  118. He said they'll fall by the edge of the sword and they'll be led away captive unto all nations, and Jerusalem will be trodden down or overthrown of the Gentiles or nations until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

  119. So we saw that in 1967, jerusalem gets won back.

  120. So here Jesus ties timing to a city Easy for us to grasp.

  121. That you could have said there's going to be a guy named Earl in the middle of Iowa.

  122. When Earl gets saved, you'll know I'm coming back.

  123. Well, everybody doesn't know where Earl is, but you know where Jerusalem is okay.

  124. So it's like the capital.

  125. That's a big deal, that it's the capital of Israel and I like it that everything got moved from Tel Aviv down to Jerusalem.

  126. I believe it was the guy in San Antonio went and told the president what was the guy in San Antonio?

  127. What is his name?

  128. Anyway, he went and told the president we need to move the thing down to Jerusalem.

  129. Said it the next day.

  130. Everybody else was afraid of what Saudi Arabia would do, jordan would do.

  131. Nobody did anything.

  132. So the capital is right there in Jerusalem.

  133. And here Jesus said when you see Israel get Jerusalem, something's up, time's up, pretty big deal.

  134. There's so many things that go along with that.

  135. Jesus talked about it and we know the Bible says that Jerusalem will be a cup of trembling for all nations.

  136. So everything about that's going to happen just before the coming of the Lord will focus around that city.

  137. Pretty interesting, because the Lord likes cities.

  138. So go down to verse 29, and he makes a parable to make what he had just said be even clearer.

  139. He said look at the fig tree.

  140. The fig tree is the nation of Israel and we know it got regathered in 1948 and Hitler killed 6 million Jews.

  141. Lucifer did everything he could to keep them from being regathered.

  142. I mean, think about that, the lengths that he went to to stop God's word from coming to pass.

  143. The one thing God said in the Bible that we would say he can't do, he's already done it.

  144. So he says here in verse 30, when they now shoot for their bud, you see and know of your own selves that summer or harvest is night hand, verse 31.

  145. Likewise, when you see these things come to pass.

  146. Know that word no.

  147. There's a big deal Anytime you see that word no, it brings boldness, ok, so people go.

  148. Well, why would you be strong about that?

  149. Because Jesus makes it so clear.

  150. He said no, that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand or near, and then he said well, verily, I say unto you, this generation, what generation?

  151. The one that sees Israel regathered in Jerusalem on back, this generation will not pass away till all is fulfilled.

  152. And there's many different ways you can do the math, but till all is fulfilled.

  153. And there's many different ways you can do the math, but they all point to right now.

  154. And if you want to get real technical because people sometimes do the German school and you teach on end times, the Germans will go.

  155. You have a question and answer, they'll go.

  156. Now you said so-and-so, so-and-so, no, no, no, the Bible says so-and-so and we're talking about generations, if you want.

  157. It says these are the generations from Adam to Jesus.

  158. You know what it was?

  159. It was 55 years.

  160. The average generation in the Old Testament was 40 years.

  161. The generation now is the lifespan of a man about 75 years, 74.9 if you Google it.

  162. So we're there.

  163. We're there.

  164. When you get all these numbers together you're like, wow, so we're blessed.

  165. Think of how privileged we are.

  166. Think about Anna and Simeon going into the temple.

  167. The Lord told them to go in and they wouldn't die until they saw the Messiah you talk about.

  168. You have an opportunity for frustration.

  169. You go into the temple every day.

  170. He's not there.

  171. Go in the next day, he's not there.

  172. Go in the next day, he's not there.

  173. We don't know how many times he went in, but I bet he went in every time.

  174. One of these times I'm coming in I'm Ghost came on him.

  175. He began to prophesy about the Redeemer of Israel right here.

  176. Glory to God.

  177. So think about that.

  178. At the first coming of the Lord, you had Mary and Joseph, maybe Elizabeth, zachariah.

  179. You had Anna, simeon.

  180. Was that six different people?

  181. I know there were more, but not a lot of people ready for the first coming.

  182. I mean, think about how under the radar that is out of the whole nation.

  183. How many people are in position?

  184. Six to 10.

  185. And even after Jesus was raised from the dead, he appeared to over 500 people.

  186. How many people came to the meeting at the upper room?

  187. 120.

  188. So after appearing alive, 120 came and he'd showed himself alive to over 500.

  189. So there's something about you and I making ourselves get in position.

  190. So this is what these things do right here.

  191. Looking at how bold those verses are, I mean that's pretty bold.

  192. Jesus goes if you see that and that you're it, tag you're it.

  193. So that brings confidence.

  194. I don't have to wait for something ethereal, I don't have to wait for a feeling, because that's how it's been in the past.

  195. Well, I just don't feel like he's coming right now.

  196. The whole thing about the coming of the Lord is it's not an ending, it's a beginning.

  197. You know, we talked last night about the pastor where we pay.

  198. You know, pin the suit on the pastor.

  199. Anybody remember that when they bought him a new suit and I gave my fender strap to that young man, to how the reaper overtook the sower.

  200. Well, I went back to Tulsa and I thought, well, I should go to the guitar store because I don't have a guitar now, because I gave my guitar away.

  201. So I went to look at them, walked in the guitar center and the Lord said why don't you learn how to play every instrument?

  202. You're going to live forever.

  203. Man, that caught me off guard.

  204. I wasn't ready for that I was like, wow, okay, here we go.

  205. So the Lord thinks a little different than we do and when it comes to all these things, these prophecies coming to pass, they're always sometimes a little different, different than what you think.

  206. In the 90s I remember I was in a service and I prophesied that Diane Sawyer would preach the gospel on a Friday night on ABC network like national network that's secular.

  207. And I thought, as I said that, I thought what did I just say?

  208. Well, about 2004,.

  209. I had a friend of mine call me.

  210. He said hey, turn your TV on.

  211. I said what I'd forgotten about that.

  212. He said turn your TV on.

  213. There was Diane Sawyer interviewing Mel Gibson and she said so you're telling me Jesus paid the penalty for Adam's sin?

  214. And he said that's right, we think of her preaching the gospel like Shamrock my God, you know, having to be like she's in a camp meeting, but here she preached the gospel on a Friday night on regular TV, saying Jesus paid the penalty for Adam's sin, wow.

  215. So sometimes it plays out a little different than what we think.

  216. You know, I envisioned it totally different than that.

  217. So here we have all these signs.

  218. We go through them every time.

  219. You've got the Hebrew language restored, ethiopian Jews brought back.

  220. You've got the fertility of the land of Israel.

  221. You've got the archway for Baal worship rebuilt in Palmyra.

  222. That's where the Tower of Babel was.

  223. I mean that's crazy, right there in Palmyra, syria, why the Talmud says that's the last sign you'll see for the Messiah comes.

  224. You got foxes on the Temple Mount, fish in the Dead Sea.

  225. The Dead Sea turned blood red where Sodom and Gomorrah was on the Day of Atonement.

  226. Last week you had a red rain in Iran.

  227. Now why do I say these things?

  228. Because the Bible, it's happening.

  229. What the Bible said would happen just before the Lord comes back.

  230. So you're kind of like oh my God, we're getting closer and closer and closer and closer.

  231. So it's exciting.

  232. You have 172 different species of predatory birds showed up in the land.

  233. I mean that's just radical.

  234. The ritual baths around the Temple Mount filled up with water First time in 2,000 years.

  235. You have Bishop Malachi.

  236. He had a vision of every pope that would be on the earth.

  237. Got it at 114 out of 114.

  238. The pope we have now is 114.

  239. So all of these signs are indicators, indicators that we're about to see Jesus.

  240. So that just means that I need to change.

  241. Whatever my thought pattern is, if I'm not doing the will of God, I don't have it fit into my life.

  242. It is my life, like you know.

  243. Sometimes we'll fit church into our life.

  244. No, church is your life.

  245. That went over real.

  246. Good.

  247. Good night, everybody.

  248. Drive safely.

  249. All right, start the car, I'll be right there.

  250. No, why do we say that?

  251. Because it's crucial.

  252. It's like in football when the play clock's counting down, I scream at the TV.

  253. If it looks like the quarterback's not looking at that play clock, I start freaking out Like dude, you're running out of time.

  254. The plays get more crucial and critical.

  255. When you're running out of time, it makes you speed up, like how many of you went to a car race?

  256. When the last lap, they do the white flag man, everybody stands up and you're maxing it out.

  257. You're redlining it.

  258. You're going as fast as you can.

  259. It's the most exciting lap.

  260. Well, we're on the last lap right now before the coming of the Lord, wow.

  261. So we just need to make some changes.

  262. So go with me, if you would.

  263. Let's go over to Thessalonians and let's look at the next event on God's calendar for us, because we have things that are flawlessly in order and it is so cool how God would prophesy it and then would have it come to pass so perfectly.

  264. It's almost like there's a God involved.

  265. So come to pass so perfectly.

  266. It's almost like there's a God involved.

  267. So let's look at the next event.

  268. And here in Thessalonians, this is the first letter written by Paul to the church.

  269. You think about it.

  270. What was the theme of the very first letter?

  271. The coming of the Lord.

  272. What did he preach about in those two letters?

  273. He preached about the rapture, the second coming, and about the Antichrist.

  274. Why?

  275. Because they thought they were in the tribulation, because Nero was taking Christians, dunking them in oil and hanging them up on poles to be nightlights.

  276. So they thought, well, this has to be the tribulation.

  277. So Paul's writing to this enemy and go no, no, you, you, the Antichrist, can't even be revealed until you depart.

  278. You have so much authority.

  279. He can't come on the scene because the Bible calls you Christ.

  280. You can't have the Christ and the Antichrist here at the same time.

  281. What concord hath Christ with Belial?

  282. So that's how much authority you have.

  283. We hear that and it's taught to us because I know how your pastors think.

  284. But you have so much dominion and so much authority that it's excessive.

  285. It's excessive, it's successful.

  286. Brother Hagin said.

  287. He told that one guy that had sugar diabetes.

  288. He said hey, while you're with me for two weeks on the road you won't register any sugar.

  289. The guy goes what?

  290. And he ate cakes and pies.

  291. Wasn't supposed to do that Ate cakes and pies.

  292. Checked his sugar level and his sugar level was normal.

  293. He said you know what I wish I could do this?

  294. Brother Hagin said while you're near me or my authority, your pancreas will come alive.

  295. Organs in your body will come alive.

  296. Because I say they will.

  297. That's how much authority you have Now.

  298. He's developed that and if that's new to you, you need to develop it in your life.

  299. Amen, because that's what you carry.

  300. So Paul's like don't worry, antichrist can't come on the scene until you leave Because you carry some stuff with you.

  301. So the answer to that is here.

  302. He goes on to verse 13 and continues Chapter 4, verse 13.

  303. He says but I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them, which are asleep, that you sorrow not even as others.

  304. He says, for the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel.

  305. The trump of God, the dead in Christ shall rise first, then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with him in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.

  306. So shall we ever be with the Lord.

  307. Wherefore, or because of this, comfort one another with these words.

  308. So he goes.

  309. I'm telling you this about the rapture to bring you comfort.

  310. Interesting how that would bring me comfort when I find out I'm not supposed to be here for those seven years.

  311. And if you keep reading the whole chapter he talks about you've not been appointed to wrath so many often the doctrines that come out about the rapture.

  312. People just get weird about the rapture.

  313. It's just an evacuations.

  314. You know you're getting evac'd.

  315. I mean, enoch walked with God, caught up, raptured.

  316. Elijah raptured that word.

  317. There is harpazo in the Greek, means taken.

  318. Remember.

  319. The sons of the prophets told Elisha don't you know?

  320. Your master's going to be taken from you today, that's that word.

  321. Well, people say well, the word rapture is not in the Bible.

  322. Yes, it is In the Latin.

  323. It's the word raptur, right there.

  324. It doesn't really matter what the verbiage is.

  325. We're here and we're going to be there.

  326. Just as your body has borne the image of the earthy, you're going to bear the image of the heavenly.

  327. The stain of Adam is going to be taken off of you and all of a sudden you're going to get that glorified body.

  328. Never gain weight again, never get, never get tired again.

  329. Glory to God.

  330. A body.

  331. That's just amazing.

  332. It's not ethereal or weird.

  333. It can be handled.

  334. So why do we need this rapture to happen?

  335. You need a new body and you don't need to be here for that last seven years.

  336. All these doctrines come out.

  337. Well, you know you got to go through the tribulation to purify you.

  338. If going through hell purified us, we'd all be glowing in the dark.

  339. It wouldn't even be weird how many of you write.

  340. Before you got married, you said honey, I know we're getting married in the next couple of weeks, but I'm going to have to have you go through hell for seven years before we do this Just to get you ready to be married to me.

  341. No, that's weird, but people think that about God?

  342. No, there's just some seven years of old covenant time.

  343. We'll get to here in a little bit that God owes them and he's going to pay them back.

  344. So we're going to be caught up.

  345. All the movies you saw in the 70s you know that were so scary and all that.

  346. It's not going to be weird or strange.

  347. We're just going to be one second.

  348. We're here.

  349. The Bible says it's an atomic second.

  350. It's a twinkling of an eye, the smallest amount of time that can't be divided.

  351. He's able to subdue even all things unto himself.

  352. He's going to say come up hither and all of a sudden your body is going to be recreated instantly and we will go rocking north, hallelujah.

  353. And you talk about a meet and greet with all your loved ones.

  354. We'll have a meet and greet there and we'll see them.

  355. Then we'll go to the reward seat of Christ, then we'll go to the marriage supper of the Lamb and then we'll come right back with him on white horses and we'll see the earth receive the king.

  356. Wow, the king of kings.

  357. What was it that Gabriel told Daniel?

  358. Daniel's going man, gabriel's showing Daniel the whole seven-year period.

  359. Daniel's like this doesn't look good.

  360. This is not.

  361. This house is going to play out.

  362. It was so catastrophic to Daniel because it was so much damage.

  363. And what did Gabriel say to him?

  364. Don't worry, the ancient of days will prevail, hallelujah, jesus.

  365. Jesus will prevail.

  366. He'll come back for his church and we'll be caught up.

  367. So here he writes this to them so they'll be happy and hopeful and comforted.

  368. He didn't say I'm telling you about the coming Lord so it can scare you so bad you can't even think straight.

  369. No, so let's always go to the Bible, let's find out why it's going to happen.

  370. Because you remember, the cherubim and seraphim have two wings that cover their feet, two wings that cover their face and two wings that they fly with.

  371. They're created to be the throne, yet they can't even handle his presence without covering their eyes.

  372. Remember in Exodus 19,.

  373. He, he said, put a fence around the mountain lest they even get near to gaze at me and die.

  374. Not because god's mad at him, he's just so radiant, holy.

  375. They weren't holy so they could look at him and it would kill him.

  376. So you need a new body.

  377. I mean, think about if seraphim have to shield their eyes and they're created to be there.

  378. I mean, we have no idea what we're in for here, because that's some brightness.

  379. We were talking about it last night.

  380. Richard Sigmund, this evangelist, years ago, got killed in a car wreck and all of a sudden he was in heaven for a while and he said man, a sunrise.

  381. He hadn't even thought about the sun coming up in heaven and it was Jesus walking up over the hill.

  382. The only thing he thought of the glory of God.

  383. Wow, hallelujah, amen.

  384. So see, we have this change coming.

  385. I like that the scripture always makes things clear where you can understand it.

  386. You know, remember on the road to Emmaus, when they were walking along and Jesus didn't want them, sad, he goes.

  387. Why are you guys so sad?

  388. And their eyes were beholden to who he was.

  389. I don't know how he does that, but I love that.

  390. So sad and their eyes were beholden to who he was.

  391. I don't know how he does that, but I love that that he can be walking with them.

  392. They don't even know it's jesus.

  393. And they see.

  394. Jesus said why are you guys sad?

  395. They said well, duh, they crucified our lord.

  396. If you've been around here.

  397. They were trying to say to him like I don't know where you're from, but if you're from where we're from.

  398. We knew about this.

  399. It wasn't good and the bible says he would have kept right on going, but they constrained him to stay for dinner.

  400. He stays for dinner.

  401. He takes them through the word, he shows them Christ in the Old Testament.

  402. It's better to meet him through the word than even seeing him face to face.

  403. Isn't that amazing?

  404. Takes them through the word, shows them Christ in the Old Testament, and then he breaks bread and disappears.

  405. And man, they freaked out, it was him.

  406. They said, did not our hearts burn?

  407. But then within us, the words that he spoke to us, his words are spirit in their life.

  408. Wow, man.

  409. And you think about it.

  410. So.

  411. So they went and told the disciples man, we saw him, we, we ate with him.

  412. He spoke to us, he gave us an easter lesson, took, took us through the old testament and and and, thomas, because I don't believe that, don't you love that, your buddies?

  413. I don't believe that.

  414. I won't believe it till I see the holes in his hands, until I see the hole in his side, I will not believe.

  415. Jesus, boom, walks right through the wall.

  416. He goes Thomas, reach into your hand, thrust it into my side, be not faithless but believing.

  417. He said my Lord and my God Freaked him out.

  418. Isn't that wild?

  419. And then they said well, he's a spirit.

  420. He goes, don't handle me.

  421. A spirit hath not flesh and bone as you see I have.

  422. So here he's trying to show him how normal he is.

  423. And then the next thing he said is do you have any meat?

  424. He didn't say do you have any kale?

  425. He didn't say do you have any salad?

  426. He said where's the beef?

  427. Come on, come on.

  428. So what he's trying to show you, he can be handled.

  429. He can walk through the wall, but he still wants normal food.

  430. So we think everything's going to be floating around or whatever.

  431. No, you're going to have a brand new body that can have food, but I don't know how it walks through the wall, but then it's still a solid.

  432. So we'll just see how the Lord teaches us what all that is.

  433. But it's glorified Hallelujah.

  434. So the life of your body won't be the blood, it'll be the presence of God himself.

  435. Man, man, oh man.

  436. How cool is that going to be?

  437. So let's look at qualifications.

  438. Go over to verse 14.

  439. Verse 14 shows us how we qualify for this.

  440. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also would sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

  441. So how we qualify is to be in Christ.

  442. I love that the Lord took performance out of the deal, just like with salvation, like there's nothing you can do to make you holy and there's nothing you can do to make you worthy of going up in the rapture other than being in the family.

  443. His blood purchased you, so that's how you're going up.

  444. I mean, oftentimes there's some weird doctrines talk about this, this, this, but it's all about works.

  445. In other words, if you put forth more effort, then you're going up in the rapture.

  446. You can't put forth enough effort to make you perfect.

  447. I was preaching in Galveston.

  448. This lady came up to me.

  449. She goes how dare you say that everybody's going up in the rapture that's born again.

  450. I said well, it's not about us, it's about him.

  451. He's the one that purchased you and the Lord always loves.

  452. The Holy Spirit loves to magnify Jesus.

  453. He said ask her whose works would she rather trust in, her works or your works?

  454. Man, oh man, I would rather trust in the Lord's works than my works, because, see, the rapture's not about me, it's about Him.

  455. He's getting His body back.

  456. We've tried to make it about if I'm cool enough or if I'm holy enough.

  457. How you go up in the rapture is to be born again.

  458. Glory to God, because you know how it is the Barney Fife in the morning.

  459. I call it the Barney Fife in the morning.

  460. Guys get a few miracles.

  461. They start walking different Going like this.

  462. That's kind of how it is with the rapture.

  463. It's like the donkey riding in Jerusalem.

  464. It's not the donkeys who's riding on the donkey.

  465. So we don't put forth effort to go up in the rapture.

  466. We go up because we're saved.

  467. So how cool is it?

  468. You got all these verses about the rapture and it's funny how the very verses that Jesus told us that people were thinking that you can't know when the Lord's coming back were basically him telling them I'm going to give you a two-day period when I'm coming back.

  469. It's so weird how perfect the Lord does all this stuff.

  470. So let's talk about it a little bit.

  471. This is really intriguing right here.

  472. There's not any mention in the gospels about the rapture because it's a mystery, just like the church age was a mystery.

  473. I mean, think about it.

  474. Jesus said I'm going to build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.

  475. They're like church.

  476. What's a church?

  477. We want a kingdom.

  478. Well, as things would go, he would say in John 14, in my father's house are many mansions.

  479. If you were not so, I would have told you.

  480. He gives us a little bit of a hint about the rapture.

  481. He goes, in my father's house are many mansions.

  482. If I was not so, I would have told you he goes.

  483. I go to prepare a place for you that where I am there you may be also.

  484. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I'll come again and receive you unto myself.

  485. Now, the weird thing about that was that was a Jewish wedding proposal.

  486. He's telling his staff will you marry me?

  487. Which that's kind of bizarre.

  488. But what would happen in a Jewish wedding proposal?

  489. A man would ask a woman to marry him.

  490. They'd be betrothed or engaged.

  491. The man would go back to his father's house.

  492. The father would oversee the building of a honeymoon suite and when the suite was ready, the father would tell his son go get your bride.

  493. And with a shout he would yell as he went down toward to get his bride.

  494. She would come out to meet him.

  495. I interviewed lady after lady after lady in Israel.

  496. I go okay, tell me how.

  497. Would you know how close it was for him to shout and come back there.

  498. She goes.

  499. Word would come to us that the room is done.

  500. You can kind of tell when the house is finished, you know if there's no walls or no lights or whatever.

  501. They didn't have lights back then.

  502. But whatever, you can tell when the house is about done.

  503. These ladies I asked.

  504. I said how would you know?

  505. They all said word would come to us, that the room's almost done and she said.

  506. I said how many days ahead would you know?

  507. They'd go about two days.

  508. We didn't want to put on $500 worth of perfume and it's six more months.

  509. It was about being a good steward.

  510. Now, think about that.

  511. They all said within two days.

  512. When Jesus said of that day and that hour, no man knows.

  513. He was telling them I'm coming back for you on Feast of Trumpets.

  514. He was telling them when the Lord was going to come back.

  515. Now, the Feast of Trumpets.

  516. Well, you ready for a lot of info.

  517. You ready, oh gosh, help us Everybody get ready.

  518. This is a lot of info.

  519. Hang with me, okay, the Feast of Trumpets was the feast.

  520. The first one was Passover.

  521. What happened on Passover?

  522. Jesus went to the cross, amazing Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.

  523. Jesus fulfilled these feasts perfectly.

  524. The next one unleavened bread.

  525. They took three pieces of bread, the middle piece, they folded it, they pierced it and they broke it.

  526. He said I am the bread of life, born in Bethlehem.

  527. You know what Bethlehem means Home of the bread.

  528. The next feast was firstfruits.

  529. What happened on firstfruits?

  530. He raised from the dead, all right.

  531. So the next feast, 50 days later, p Trumpets.

  532. When he said of that day and that hour, no man knows, they knew that meant the Feast of Trumpets.

  533. Now, what happened on the Feast of Trumpets was it was on the 29.5th day of the month, so you didn't know if it was on the 29th or the 30th.

  534. So the Sanhedrin would send two witnesses out to see when the new moon was.

  535. So they would know within a two-day period when it was going to happen.

  536. That's fine.

  537. When Jesus said that, they looked at each other and go.

  538. He's telling us a two-day period when he's going to come.

  539. So every year on Feast of Trumpets, get ready.

  540. I mean in America.

  541. I know exactly when it starts in Israel, I know exactly when it starts in America.

  542. And I'm going like this, I'm giving kind of a wave offering.

  543. I'm going, lord, I hope your flux capacitor is charged up.

  544. I don't want it to be like Star Trek, where half your body goes up or whatever.

  545. You know, I don't want it to be perfect.

  546. So the very thing that the world taught us, that we couldn't know when it was going to happen.

  547. The Lord tried to tell us when it was going to happen so we'd know why we would have a heads up.

  548. I'm giving you a heads up.

  549. And he even said when you see these things come to pass, lift up your heads.

  550. Your redemption draws nigh.

  551. Why he doesn't want you downtrodden, why he loves you.

  552. He loves you, he's not mad at you, he's not mad at you, not frustrated with you, he loves you and he's excited about you getting raptured.

  553. How cool is that going to be.

  554. I mean, think about that.

  555. I mean, this is how I thought with Colleen when we got married.

  556. I had a buddy of mine, david Ellis.

  557. He's Brother Copeland's piano player and he plays for Nancy Dufresne, and I had him in my back.

  558. He's one of my buddies.

  559. I had him in my backyard playing the piano.

  560. I had him play all of Colleen's favorite songs.

  561. While the girls, all the bridesmaids, were getting ready for the wedding, my wife had these two friends that were makeup artists for these movies, had them come there and get all the ladies ready, and David's playing the piano in the backyard.

  562. They had all the windows open in the fall of that year of September, I bought a little gift from Tiffany's, a little piece of jewelry in that little blue box, you know.

  563. So, while the girls were getting ready, I had my best man bring up that gift to my wife-to-be and a a present for them, and have the songs playing in the backyard.

  564. If I think like that, how do you think the Lord thinks about you?

  565. He's got some wonderful things ahead because we're about to go north.

  566. Are we ready for rapture practice?

  567. Come on, we're going to be caught up.

  568. We shall be changed.

  569. Wow, in a moment.

  570. In a twinkling of an eye he's able to subdue even all things unto himself.

  571. He's so powerful when he says come up hither, come up to the throne of God, you're going to be recreated.

  572. Whoo glory to God.

  573. Man, never get tired again.

  574. So when we talk about the rapture, what we should focus on for a little bit, and we will, then we'll go over to Daniel here in just a second.

  575. But we, for a little bit, and we will.

  576. Then we'll go over to Daniel here in just a second.

  577. But we should talk about the reward seat of Christ.

  578. This is the main thing we should focus on when we're caught up.

  579. Your very next appointment after you're caught up.

  580. We have all heard it in the Bible it's the judgment seat of Christ.

  581. Now, that's a mistranslation.

  582. The Greek word is the word.

  583. Bima means reward seat.

  584. Remember the Olympics?

  585. When a guy goes up on that podium, that's Olympics.

  586. When a guy goes up on that podium, that's where that word podium came from was from the judgment seat of Christ.

  587. All of a sudden, you're going to go up on that podium and fire's going to hit your life and what it's going to do?

  588. It's going to examine your works, not your sin.

  589. Sin was laid on Jesus.

  590. You'll never be judged for your sin because Jesus paid for it.

  591. Okay, so what is this for?

  592. This is to examine your works, whether they're wood, hay and stubble, or gold, silver and precious stones.

  593. Now, if it's wood, hay and stubble, it's probably things that were done to be seen of man, to be cool, and that pride's going to be taken out.

  594. I'd hate to have a bonfire.

  595. I'd hate for the angels to go everybody back up.

  596. This is not going to be good.

  597. What in the world was that?

  598. No, you don't want a bonfire.

  599. Now think of it wood, hay and stubbles all above the ground.

  600. It's what people see you do.

  601. You probably won't get a reward, for it's the hidden things of the heart, gold.

  602. Gold is your devotional life, okay, silver.

  603. What is silver?

  604. The tongue of the justice choice, silver, the stones?

  605. The priest would go into the presence of god for the people, not for himself.

  606. So, the things that you do, think about, all the things that you do with the right motive, you're going to get rewarded for it.

  607. So he wants to reward you and what will happen is you're going to be clothed with glory and honor.

  608. You wear your silver and gold and your stones.

  609. You, you will wear your faithfulness forever.

  610. You're going to be retrofitted right there.

  611. That fire is going to hit your life and going to burn up the things that weren't good, In other words, things that were done for the wrong motive and things that were done for the right motive.

  612. You're going to adorn.

  613. Your robe will have a stripe right here saying you came on Saturday night.

  614. It'll have stitching right here saying that you were a soul winner.

  615. It'll have stitching right here showing you were faithful.

  616. You won't have to tell anybody what you did in the church.

  617. They'll look at your robe Just like in the military.

  618. You don't have a military guy.

  619. He's got four stars here.

  620. He's got fruit all over his heart right here.

  621. Those badges right there.

  622. You see a purple heart.

  623. You know he got wounded in battle.

  624. He doesn't have to tell you he's had a tough time.

  625. You watch, your robe will indicate what you look like.

  626. You just want to make sure you're not having a Speedo bathing suit for the millennial reign.

  627. Come on, people go.

  628. Aha, didn't do anything during the church age, did you?

  629. No, because that's from the book of Daniel.

  630. You'll be clothed with glory and honor that's the word regal In the military.

  631. At night you wore dress whites.

  632. In the daytime you wore your khakis.

  633. You'd get fined.

  634. You got fined during World War II for wearing khakis.

  635. At night, you had to wear your dress whites.

  636. So he's going to clothe you with glory and honor and you're going to wear that faithfulness.

  637. How cool is that going to be?

  638. Think of John Wesley.

  639. John Wesley said give me 10 men that hate, sin and love God and I will change the world.

  640. Wow, and I will change the world.

  641. Wow.

  642. I guarantee when you see his robe you're going to go check that robe out.

  643. Wow, you won't be jealous.

  644. You'll be thrilled for him.

  645. Wow, he did the will of God, I was preaching over in the Ukraine gosh 35 years ago, and we were going out in the middle of this field and there was a concrete bunker.

  646. I thought it was like a bomb shelter.

  647. I said, what's that bomb shelter doing way out here in the middle of nowhere he goes?

  648. That's not a bomb shelter, that's a Methodist church.

  649. Wow, in the middle of nowhere in the Ukraine.

  650. All because John Wesley said give me 10 men that hate sin and love God and I'll change the world.

  651. Wow, blazed a trail.

  652. Wow.

  653. So you still have time to do something with your life.

  654. We want to give the Lord some gifts after going to that reward seat.

  655. You're going to get all this gold and silver.

  656. You want to give him stuff as you go to the marriage supper of the Lamb Wow.

  657. So that's what we should focus on.

  658. We still have time to do something that's eternal.

  659. We're building up a foundation of good things to come, laying hold of eternal life.

  660. So think about everything that you've done with the right motive You're going to get a reward for it.

  661. And everything that you've done with the right motive, you're going to get a reward for it.

  662. And the devil's turned that and you're going to the judgment seat.

  663. No, you're going to the reward seat.

  664. Wow, all right, grab your Bibles.

  665. One more thing.

  666. One more thing.

  667. This won't take too long, but it's probably the one thing that you can look at that shows you you can't be here during the tribulation.

  668. Actually, there's a couple of things we can go through next, but let's go to, let's go to Daniel.

  669. This will bless you.

  670. Go to Daniel, chapter nine.

  671. Now, this is complicated, but it's going to.

  672. We won't go through it too long, but I want you to get this because it's so good that it shows you you can't be here during the tribulation.

  673. I'm glad that the Bible is so clear about what it's going to be like, but now this is a lot of information here.

  674. For a minute, daniel nine really clears things up.

  675. It's so cool how the scripture always sets you free, always sets you free.

  676. So go to Daniel.

  677. It's page 994.

  678. If you've got a Bible like mine, how many are still glad you came, glad you made it?

  679. Come on.

  680. How many are glad you're not in surgery?

  681. Come on, that went over real good.

  682. Good night everybody.

  683. Drive safely, all right.

  684. Go to Daniel 9.

  685. Now this first part seems boring, but it really means something to us, so let's pay attention to it.

  686. But watch what he says in Daniel 9, verse 1.

    Daniel 9:1

  687. The first year of Darius, which was the son of, or whatever that is, which was the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans, in the first year of his reign, I, daniel, understood by books the number of years where the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, the prophet that he would accomplish 70 years in the desolation of Jerusalem.

  688. He goes well, I set my face under the Lord, god to seek by prayer and supplication with fasting, sackcloth and ashes.

  689. So Daniel goes okay, we're in prison.

  690. For 70 years.

  691. We're in prison and we can't be in the land.

  692. What's going on here?

  693. So he found out why they got put in prison like that for 70 years.

  694. Well, god told them to let the land rest every seven years, and guess what they started planting on that seventh year.

  695. Guess how long they did that?

  696. 490 years.

  697. So, god, let them go into captivity for 70 years to pay the land back what they owe the land.

  698. Look how flawless God was in the Old Testament.

  699. Okay, so keep that in your mind.

  700. Okay, how long did they miss it?

  701. 490 years.

  702. Remember Jesus?

  703. Peter asked Jesus, how many times do I forgive somebody?

  704. 70 times, seven, 490 times.

  705. Okay.

  706. So with that in your mind for a minute.

  707. How long did they miss it?

  708. 490 years.

  709. Watch Gabriel show Daniel this in verse 23.

  710. It's going to get to some of the coolest verses in the Bible ever here in a second Daniel 9.

  711. Look at verse 23.

  712. At the beginning of thy supplication, the commandment came forth.

  713. I'm come to show you that you're greatly beloved.

  714. Therefore, understand the matter and consider the vision.

  715. He goes okay, you guys missed it for 490 years.

  716. In verse 24 he goes 70 weeks are determined upon thy people, the jews, and upon the holy city, jerusalem.

  717. The word 70 weeks is just another way of saying 70 segments of 7 or 490 years.

  718. You missed it for 490.

  719. God's giving you guys another 490.

  720. What's it for?

  721. For the jews and for jerusalem?

  722. Now watch this.

  723. He keeps going.

  724. He says the holy city to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, bring in everlasting righteousness, seal up the vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy.

  725. Now, here we go.

  726. This is the place, the part that's so cool Verse 25.

  727. Know, therefore, and understand that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and build Jerusalem until the Messiah comes is going to be a certain amount of years.

  728. I'm going to add them up for you so you don't have to add them up.

  729. So here he says okay, gabriel goes all right, daniel, there's going to be a proclamation to rebuild Jerusalem and when that proclamation comes forward, jesus is going to come.

  730. After 483 years.

  731. So the commandment came forth we shall rebuild Jerusalem.

  732. Clock started.

  733. Gabriel said after 483 years he's going to come.

  734. Well, god gave them 490.

  735. So you remember, you know, jesus would never really tell people that he was the Messiah.

  736. He'd go.

  737. You go tell them what you see and what you hear.

  738. Remember that, over and over and over again, even John the Baptist, about to get his head cut off, he told him go ask him if he's the one, because it's not looking good for us.

  739. They're supposed to cut my head off.

  740. He said go tell them what you see and what you hear.

  741. But there came that day where Jesus came riding into Jerusalem on that donkey and they put the palm branches down Hosanna, hosanna, hosanna, blessed, is he who comes in the name of the Lord?

  742. They were saying oh man, don't let them say that You're admitting you're the Messiah.

  743. He said if they didn't do it, the rocks would cry out.

  744. Why?

  745. Because it was 483 years from when that commandment came forth.

  746. Think about it.

  747. So he came after 483.

  748. How many years did God give him?

  749. 490.

  750. God owes them seven years of old covenant time.

  751. That's the seven-year tribulation.

  752. He takes the church off the earth and repays them those seven years.

  753. And what happens in those seven years?

  754. You've got wormwood, you've got an asteroid that hits, you've got water turning to blood.

  755. You've got World War III.

  756. You've got nothing but hell on earth for seven years.

  757. And there's pressure put on people because some people just wait until the last minute.

  758. They always say there was no such thing as an atheist and a foxholder in World War II because you got bombs coming at you.

  759. There's something about bombs coming at you that make you make a decision, knowing that your eternal time is getting ready to hit you right in the face.

  760. I mean, my dad mocked God, cursed God his whole life.

  761. He has a stroke.

  762. I go into intensive care.

  763. He gets saved right there.

  764. The whole time of his life I tried to get him saved and he just nah, I'm not doing that when he had a stroke, got saved right there and died.

  765. He slid in.

  766. I mean, he barely made it in, but he made it.

  767. Look at the mercy of God to live like the devil your whole life and then slide right in.

  768. And if you go back and look at these verses here in Daniel 9, he gets even more detailed.

  769. He tells you that the tribulation doesn't start when the rapture happens.

  770. The tribulation starts when Israel signs a contract with the Antichrist In two months.

  771. Listen to this.

  772. You got this month.

  773. You got the red heifer is supposed to get sacrificed In two months.

  774. The UN is meeting with Macron in France over what?

  775. A seven-year agreement with Israel?

  776. A seven-year agreement with Israel?

  777. Now, I don't know if it's the one, but that's what they're meaning to talk about Now.

  778. We've already had several seven-year agreements signed with Israel.

  779. The PAC in 1992 was a seven-year agreement, but it wasn't the Antichrist.

  780. But you got the right players on the right field with the right ball.

  781. You don't have a basketball on the football field.

  782. You don't have a basketball in the football field.

  783. You don't have a baseball in the football field.

  784. You don't have a soccer ball.

  785. You got a football on a football field with the right quarterback, with the right nations coming together in two months to look at a seven-year agreement for Israel and the Palestinians.

  786. And it gets quiet when you preach that.

  787. But I'm just telling you, I used to preach it eight months ago.

  788. I used to preach it ten months ago.

  789. I preached it five years ago and we were a ways away from it.

  790. This was announced two months ago that this would happen in June.

  791. So you've got April and May and then it's going to happen.

  792. So that doesn't mean that's when that's going to be or you're going to be raptured.

  793. That just means that you're looking at things that are pushing people to fix things in the Middle East by signing peace accords for seven years.

  794. And we know what happens.

  795. The Bible says midway through that seven years, the Antichrist is going to come into the temple and say I'm God, because he'll probably say you guys don't need to kill animals anymore because it's so gross.

  796. I'll be God.

  797. Wow.

  798. And the Bible Jesus even quotes Daniel.

  799. That's the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel.

  800. Where the Antichrist comes in.

  801. You know what's wild?

  802. The Jews think he's the Messiah and all of a sudden he ends up being the devil incarnate man.

  803. That's an uh-oh moment right there for you.

  804. The very guy you think is Jesus or God, and it ends up being Lucifer.

  805. So we're just so privileged and so blessed that we're about to go through the biggest change that our life will probably ever have, and that is the rapture of the church.

  806. And we'll see him face to face and what will you say to him?

  807. What will you say when you see him as king?

  808. Wow, you think about people that got died or whatever, and just barely got saved and went into glory.

  809. You've had so much revelation about it, you know all about it, you know about his mercy and his kindness and his goodness, and you're going to see him.

  810. Hallelujah, I don't know.

  811. We used to do rapture practice.

  812. I don't think we have to today.

  813. We don't have to, but we're going to be caught up.

  814. Sure, glad you came today.

  815. Appreciate you taking the time to come, hear the word no fear.

  816. No fear about the coming of the Lord.

  817. Zero fear, zero fear about the rapture of the church.

  818. We used to sing all these songs about the coming of the Lord.

  819. I think there's going to be a renewal of those songs because there should be great joy.

  820. Therefore, the redeemed of the Lord shall return and come with singing undesigned, and everlasting joy will be upon their head.

  821. They will sing of gladness and joy, and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

  822. Well, that'll date me a little bit right there.

  823. That was about a 50 years ago song.

  824. Praise the Lord.
