-
>> Apostle Paul says rejoice in the Lord
-
always. [music] Again I tell you
-
rejoice. That's the only place I can
-
find where he repeats himself. Like if
-
you don't hear me the first time I said
-
rejoice always. And again I'm going to
-
tell you rejoice always. We need to
-
learn. We need to not be just a hearer
-
only. But we need to do we need to learn
-
to rejoice in every situation because
-
rejoicing will turn that situation
-
around. Amen. Come on, give him a shout
-
of praise. [music] Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah. [music]
-
Glory. Hallelujah.
-
Glory [music] to God. Hallelujah.

Hallelujah.
-
But we are so glad to have you [music]
-
in the house tonight. We want to welcome
-
if you're watching streaming, wherever
-
you're watching from, drop us a line
-
right now. Just say, "Hey, I'm watching
-
from." Let us know where you're watching
-
from. But welcome. We're glad you're
-
joining us. So before you're seated,
-
turn around, shake hands with the people
-
around you. If you don't know their
-
name, introduce yourself and you may be
-
seated.
-
Well, this is the last night of prayer
-
con 26, but it's not the last night to
-
pray. [music]
-
You know, the Bible uh has a lot to say
-
about prayer. In the mornings, pastor
-
was sharing a little bit and teaching
-
and then we would pray. Um prayer can be
-
taught but there's a spirit of prayer
-
that has to be caught. And I believe
-
that uh in these evening meetings, these
-
morning meetings when we've been praying
-
[music] that we're all going home a
-
different way and that we've caught some
-
more of that spirit of prayer, how to
-
pray, when to pray, how to know like
-
this morning him uh pastor sharing on
-
the prayer of intercession and how to
-
know when the spirit of God is taking
-
hold together with you against
-
something.
-
Wow, it was amazing. So, um I want to
-
encourage you, pray, pray, pray. If
-
you're part of this church family, we've
-
got prayer groups that are going all
-
through the week. You are welcome to
-
join a prayer group. In fact, this is
-
open enrollment month uh the month of
-
January. Uh was just talking with uh
-
someone re right before service and we
-
may be starting another prayer group uh
-
that will start next uh 1 of February on
-
the persecuted church. A prayer group
-
for the persecuted church. We have a
-
responsibility to pray.
-
There are many many countries that do
-
not have the freedom we have. They would
-
give anything to be able to come and to
-
pray openly but they do so much hiding.
-
So much so much. We prayed uh on one
-
morning for Israel
-
much uncction not knowing what the week
-
was going to unfold. Things are are uh
-
steer they're uh they're what are they
-
doing? They're they're getting hot over
-
there. Things are starting to boil over
-
there. Then we prayed for the Middle
-
East yesterday and we we took on prayer
-
assignments this week. It was just an
-
interesting an interesting prayer con
-
where we were intentionally praying
-
about different situations and I just
-
believe that our prayers availed much
-
and we did business with God and the
-
fervent prayer of a righteous man,
-
righteous woman makes tremendous power
-
available, dynamic in its working. So,
-
so it's been a good week. I want to
-
thank again those who came in from um
-
out of town. I know people came in from
-
out of over the overseas. They came in
-
from all over the states. Thank you for
-
putting forth the effort to come. It
-
means a lot and I believe it'll make a
-
difference in the rest of your year. We
-
were praying out one service uh the
-
future. Praying out the future. Praying
-
out what's coming. And so again, we are
-
so thankful that you took the time to be
-
here. You took the time to join. And
-
those of you watching online, I believe
-
that same spirit of prayer you'll catch
-
right wherever you are, whatever country
-
you're in, whatever city you're in. So
-
continue with it. Don't stop now. Don't
-
stop now. Take it home with you. If
-
you're a pastor, take it home with you.
-
Impart it to your people. Um God is
-
looking for a church that prays. The
-
church went to fervent and earnest
-
prayer. And that's us. That's us. So I
-
just wanted to make mention of a couple
-
things. Um, we last night took up a
-
special offering. the whole offering
-
went to a a an ambassador in a closed
-
country that we were not we did not
-
mention in a situation that we did not
-
go into a lot of details about
-
um but but this individual uh is there
-
now and um there's no internet there's
-
no um cell phone so we've not had in any
-
communication with her but we're
-
believing wherever she is that their
-
angels encamped round about her, but she
-
ministers to orphans and to uh widows
-
whose husbands have vanished,
-
quote unquote.
-
And so um what an what an amazing
-
ministry. So there was a need that came
-
up to get them out of particular city.
-
And so how many of you would like to
-
know what came in the offering last
-
night?
-
>> Are you ready? She was needing 25,000.
-
We did a simple presentation. and give
-
you an opportunity to give. We had,
-
drum roll
-
31,000
-
500. Woohoo!
-
[music] Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. Yay!
-
Ha!
-
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
-
Glory to God.
-
supernatural supernatural offering. So,
-
I I just kind of danced a little jig
-
when we got that report this morning and
-
I knew y'all would be excited, too. And
-
there's more still coming in. It's just
-
So, as it comes in, we will continue. We
-
will get it to her. We know where to
-
send it. Uh she has no clue, but when
-
she will have a clue and so I believe
-
that that money will go to uh is going
-
to help her with this need that has came
-
up out of nowhere. So, um praise the
-
Lord. Thank you. Thank you for being
-
faithful to give and I believe that what
-
you planted will come back to you
-
multiplied over many times over because
-
that's just the nature of God. We give
-
and he gives back. Multi, he multiplies
-
it, remember? So, thank you. Thank you.
-
Thank you. Uh, couple more things. We
-
mentioned a book bundle on Sunday
-
morning. How many of you had got the
-
book bundle?
-
How many? Oh, well, that mean they were
-
gone like that after service. Literally,
-
there was a line a mile long. So, we did
-
our best to track down some more. They
-
arrived this afternoon. And so, um, we
-
had 25 more book bundles. And just now I
-
went back out to just check on the table
-
and there's four left. I'm like, "Wait,
-
where'd the 25 go?" And he said,
-
"They're gone." I'm like, "Gone where?"
-
He [laughter] said, "They're already
-
gone." So, four people you four people
-
want it. It's out there. It's the
-
passion for prayer which are excerpts
-
from some of the most amazing teachers
-
of prayer through the through the
-
through the years. Uh that's what that
-
book is. And then uh the imbounds it's a
-
it's a one minute devotional
-
leatherbound um on the subject of
-
prayer. So there's four left. So y'all
-
just fight over it or something.
-
[laughter]
-
Don't go get it now because there's no
-
one out there. But um and then one other
-
thing, we're going to be right back in
-
here um for another conference uh in
-
August is Fire for the Nations. I know
-
some of you come back for that. Yeah.
-
And that's going to be August 2 through
-
five. So put it on your radar. Get it on
-
your calendar. Don't go on vacation
-
during Fire for the Nations. Uh we have
-
a lot of ambassadors that come in for
-
that. And it just ignites them to go and
-
do another year or whatever on the
-
mission field. And it invites it ignites
-
us. It lights the fire in us. The why
-
why is mission so big. That's what Fire
-
for the Nations is all about. So, um
-
you're going to enjoy it. But that's
-
going to be here before we know it. This
-
is fe January. So, I don't even know
-
what month it's January, but the months
-
pass by so quickly. So, that's going to
-
be August 2 through 5 and hope to see
-
some of you back
-
>> [music]
-
>> um at that point. So, but again, thanks
-
for being here. We'll uh after service
-
get to tell as many of you as we can
-
goodbye. But just wanted to say we love
-
you. We appreciate you. We appreciate
-
you praying and loving to pray and
-
desiring to pray. [music] Continue to
-
pray. You're making a difference.
-
This is Robert, our uh pastoral care
-
captain.
-
>> Thank you, pastor. Wow.
-
I think we should just stand up for a
-
second and give God some praise for that
-
offering last night.
-
Hey, [music] thank you, Lord.
-
Thank you.
-
[music] Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
-
Thank you. Thank you.
-
Wow. Ain't he good?
-
>> Yeah. Well, it's offering time.
-
>> Yeah. Keep that excitement going. We
-
ain't done reaching the world yet.
-
Here's the different ways to give up on
-
the screens there. There's also uh
-
offering envelopes in the seatbacks in
-
front of you. Um if you would prefer to
-
use that. Um
-
the Bible says over in 1 Samuel, God
-
says, "He who honors me, I will honor."
-
James chapter 4 says, "Draw near to me
James 4 chapter mention
-
and I will draw near to you." Over in
-
Peter, it says something to the effect
-
of uh humble yourself under the mighty
-
hand of God and he will exalt you. You
-
know, there's just this principle of of
-
reciprocosity
-
with God.
-
It's reciprocal. It's not one of those,
-
you know, if you scratch my back, I'll
-
scratch your back. You know, it's one of
-
those things when you seek him with your
-
heart,
-
his goodness has an automatic flow to
-
your life. Amen. And it just kind of
-
reminded me as I was thinking about
-
this, I started thinking about Monday
-
night
-
as we came to honor him,
-
as we came to bless his name and to
-
praise him and to worship him with our
-
heart. Amen. That word honor there means
-
weight. And I don't know about you, but
-
I was sitting in my seat and I felt like
-
there was some weight of glory sitting
-
on me most of the night. And like Pastor
-
Mark said, these things, we may not know
-
what all happened on the inside of us
-
for a week or two or a month, but guess
-
what? Something happened.
-
>> Just like every other service in this
-
conference, something happened.
-
>> And God's so faithful to honor us when
-
we honor him. The Bible says this in
-
Proverbs chapter 3, very familiar. He
Proverbs 3 chapter mention
-
says, "Honor the Lord with your wealth
-
and with the first and best part of all
-
your income.
-
Then here's that uh uh that reciprocal
-
principle. Then your barns will be full
-
and your vats will overflow with fresh
-
wine." You know, it's almost like God
-
says, you know, when you honor me, I
-
just want to honor you more. [laughter]
-
I just want to honor you. So tonight and
-
every time we give, we should always
-
come with that heart, and I know we do,
-
to honor him, to bless his name, to put
-
him above all things. Amen. And watch
-
and see lives be changed just like what
-
happened last night. Hallelujah.
-
Father, we thank you for the
-
opportunities to [music] give to you and
-
to honor you with our finances. Lord, be
-
blessed and be [music] glorified
-
in Jesus' name. Amen.
-
Amen. When you guys are done giving, you
-
can stand as we continue in worship.
-
We lift [music and singing] our hands to
-
you, Lord.
-
We lift [music and singing] our voice to
-
you, Lord.
-
And you spoke those words, [singing]
-
"Let there [music] be light." And it
-
was.
-
And in that same breath, the
-
[music and singing] stars fell in line.
-
With one voice creation cries, [music]
-
you [singing] do all things well.
-
Oh [music] yes, you do.
-
And you do all things well.
-
So be praised. [music]
-
Be praised
-
forever
-
[music] and always
-
be praised.
-
We glorify you with praise. Be
-
glorified. [music and singing]
-
Redeemed from the dark now [music] into
-
the light. transformed from [singing]
-
death to life. I heard your voice
-
calling my name. Now I'm [music]
-
standing in the light. You do all things
-
well.
-
We're standing in the light. You do all
-
things well.
-
So be praised. [music]
-
Be [singing] praised. We praise.
-
>> We praise. [music]
-
We praise.
-
>> We praise you, Lord.
-
We [music]
-
praise
-
>> forever
-
forever [singing]
-
and always.
-
[music]
-
>> Oh, be praised. Be glorified, Lord. You
-
>> we [music] glorify your name God.
-
>> We say be praised, be honored, be
-
adored. Praise [music]
-
be praised, be honored, be adored, be
-
[music]
-
when I think of all you've [music] done
-
and all the battles you brought me
-
[singing]
-
over. Hallelujah. [music]
-
Oh, [singing]
-
and all the [music] storms I saw you
-
call in my defense. My only [music] song
-
is hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah.
-
How you [music] never let me fall now
-
unto him who is [music] able.
-
Hallelujah.
-
me [music] cry hallelujah
-
and let there never be the day that I
-
don't have to bring you [music] praise.
-
Hallelujah.
-
When I think
-
>> when I [music] think of all you've done
-
and all the battles you brought me
-
[singing] over. Hallelujah. [music] When
-
I think of the goodness of God. Oh,
-
>> the storms are so [music]
-
conflu
-
[music]
-
to him who is able. Hallelujah.
-
He's [music] able
-
that I don't rise to bring [music] you
-
praise. Hallelujah.
-
>> We give you the highest praise. [music]
-
Give you the highest praise. Give you
-
>> We [music] give you the highest praise.
-
Give you the highest praise. We give you
-
[music]
-
>> We give you the highest praise. Give you
-
the highest praise.
-
>> From the rising of the sun,
-
>> we [music] give you the highest praise.
-
>> Give you the highest praise. [music]
-
>> We give you praise.
-
>> We give you the highest praise. Give you
-
[music and singing] the highest praise.
-
>> Sing. We give you praise, Lord.
-
>> We give you the highest praise. We give
-
you the highest praise. [music] Oh, we
-
give you praise.
-
>> We give you the highest praise. Give you
-
the [music] highest praise. We give you
-
praise.
-
>> We give you the highest praise. Give you
-
the [music] highest praise. Lift your
-
name higher. High. We give you the
-
highest praise. Give you the [music]
-
highest praise. So be praise.
-
Be [music]
-
praise.
-
Be praise.
-
>> We praise God.
-
>> We praise.
-
>> Be praise.
-
>> We praise. [music]
-
We praise
-
forever.
-
>> Forever [music]
-
and
-
all. In all the battles, you brought me
-
over. Hallelujah. [music]
-
[singing]
-
Come on, let's set our affections on the
-
faithful. [music] In all the storms my
-
soul
-
in my defense, my only song. Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Now you never [music]
-
before. Now unto him who is able.
-
[singing]
-
Hallelujah.
-
Now unto [music] him who's able to do
-
exceedingly abundantly above all faith
-
and let there [music] never be a day
-
that I don't rise to bring [music] you
-
praise. Hallelujah.
-
>> Hallelujah.
-
Yeah. Let
-

the praise.
-
>> Worthy of the glory and the honor.
-
[music]
-
Worthy of the glory and the honor.
-
So we lift our voice to you, Lord.
-
[music]
-
Oh, we magnify you. We magnify you,
-
Jesus. [music] We glorify your name. We
-
glorify you, Jesus. What a wonderful
-
God.
-
>> What a mighty God.
-
>> What a mighty God. What a mighty God.
-
>> What a glorious king. What a powerful
-
name it is. Oh,
-
come on. Just lift up a shout of praise
-
to the King.
-
[music]
-
We glorify you, Jesus.
-
We glorify you, [music] Jesus.

you, [music and singing]
-
Jesus. We praise you. We praise [music]
-
you.
-
We praise you. We praise you, Lord.
-
[music] We praise you. We praise you,
-
God.
-
Well, let's go ahead and give him
-
thanks. We praise you, Lord.
-
You're worthy.
-
You're worthy. Worthy. Worthy. Worthy.
-
Only you are worthy. Only you are
-
worthy. Only you could redeem us with
-
your own precious blood. Only you could
-
pay the price. Only you go could go
-
where we deserve to go. Take our place.
-
Hallelujah. You went where we belong so
-
we can go where you are. You became what
-
we were so we can be as you are. We're
-
thankful, dear Father. Thank you for the
-
great plan of redemption. Jesus came and
-
completed for us.
-
We weren't even here to ask for it. He
-
came and did it for us.
-
He was called the lamb slain from the
-
foundation of the world. We're thankful.
-
>> Hallelujah.
-
We're thankful, dear Father.
-
We're grateful. We're grateful. We're
-
grateful. And we're going to remind you
-
of that all through eternity. How
-
thankful we are. We're a chosen
-
generation, a royal priesthood, a holy
-
nation. We can show forth the praises of
-
him. Called us out of darkness into his
-
glorious light. Father, we're just
-
thankful. We're just [music] thankful.
-
Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
-
when we were in places where we didn't
-
know what we were going to do. We were
-
in places in uh in life, we didn't know
-
what we were going to do. Didn't know
-
where we're going to go. Didn't know
-
what was going to take place. Didn't
-
know if there was any kind of an answer
-
for us. Didn't know if that was going to
-
work [music] for us. But you reached
-
out. You reached out. Hallelujah. You
-
brought somebody to us with good news.
-
And we're thankful.
-
>> We're just thankful, dear Father.
-
Somebody brought us the good news.
-
Somebody brought us the gospel. Somebody
-
came and talked to us with a love of God
-
that takes away the sins of the world.
-
Somebody paid the price. Somebody took
-
time out of their schedule
-
to come and talk to us. Not condemning,
-
not demeaning, just came to tell us how
-
good life is. That you got a plan for
-
our life. Hallelujah. We didn't know
-
that. How would we know that? We didn't
-
know it. We hadn't read the Bible. We
-
didn't know it. But you sent somebody to
-
tell us. Almighty God has a plan for our
-
life and we're thankful for it, dear
-
Father, in the wonderful name of Jesus
-
Christ of Nazareth. Hallelujah. The one
-
that's high and lifted up and his train
-
fills the temple.
-
[music] Glory to God. We're we're
-
grateful and we're thankful. We thank
-
you in Jesus' name, Father. Hallelujah.
-
And we thank you for the service
-
tonight. Father, we we uh we take time
-
to thank you for this this week for a
-
prayer con.
-
There's some things we know you did, but
-
there's a lot we don't know you did.
-
There's some things that are beyond our
-
knowledge. They go way down on the
-
inside. There's some things you've done
-
for us, some things you've done in us,
-
some things you've done to us, some
-
things you're going to do through us.
-
And we're thankful for that, dear
-
Father. What a privilege to be in the
-
family of Almighty God. So, thank you
-
for this week that we've been able to
-
spend time together. Hallelujah. And I
-
thank you for everybody that's come,
-
those that haven't been able to come,
-
but they watched online. I pray over
-
every one of them, dear Father.
-
Everybody that's come to take part, come
-
to get something, to receive something,
-
to go do something. And I thank you for
-
each and every one. I thank you, Father.
-
I declare they'll never be the same.
-
Never, never, never, never, never,
-
never, never be the same in Jesus name.
-
And we're thankful for him, dear Father.
-
Thank you, Father, for meeting all their
-
needs, taking care of everything.
-
Hallelujah. And we thank you now for the
-
service tonight. And we just trust you
-
to um bring to pass what your will and
-
plan [music] is. As uh Jesus said in
-
what we call the Lord's Prayer, Father,
-
um thy will be done on earth the same as
-
it is in heaven. Your will's always done
-
in heaven, but we can pray and have it
-
done here on earth. So we pray for that
-
tonight. Thy will be done, oh Lord, in
-
this place tonight in Jesus name.
-
Whatever it may be, wherever it may go,
-
we thank you for it, dear Father. And
-
when it's all come to pass, then we'll
-
surely know. Hallelujah. We've been in
-
your presence. We thank you for it in
-
Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Amen. Praise
-
God. Glory to God. Well, you can go
-
ahead and be seated. Good to see
-
everybody here.
-
[clears throat] Glad you made it. Um, I
-
want to take a minute. Uh, I'm we're not
-
really, of course, never really exactly
-
sure where the end of a service is going
-
to go. So, Pastor Jan and I want to take
-
just a minute. And, uh, number one,
-
thank everybody for coming. Those of you
-
that have come from, you know, anywhere
-
from uh the next uh, subdivision down
-
the block or to another from another
-
city, state, or another nation. Thank
-
you. Thank you for taking the time,
-
those uh, watching online and uh, and to
-
go beyond that. Uh we're so thankful for
-
our staff and all the work they've put
-
in. Yeah,
-
[applause]
-
they worked hard
-
for our our core, our helps minister,
-
our core department worked hard.
-
[applause]
-
We're grateful for that. And uh for
-
everybody that's gotten involved, we're
-
just thankful for that. Amen. Did I miss
-
anybody? Don't think so. Good.
-
Hallelujah. Praise God. Well, it's been
-
a been a good week. Been a good week.
-
And as you know, we've said before that
-
a lot of times coming into a meeting
-
like this, some meetings you come into
-
and if you're doing a a seminar on a
-
particular subject, then you kind of
-
know what you're going to do before you
-
get there. You're going to going to be
-
able to take a subject and take it
-
apart, put it back together, and all
-
that. But when you come into something
-
like a prayer conference, um all you
-
know for sure that you're going to do is
-
pray.
-
That's all you know to do. And uh and so
-
and we said when we started out uh I
-
think Sunday morning we made the
-
statement that you know um we we've
-
we've been I don't mean this you know in
-
a negative sense sort of but um yeah
-
we've all been to prayer meetings where
-
they do everything but pray.
-
Maybe you haven't been to one of those.
-
They're definitely a different form of
-
interesting and uh you know we we've
-
kind of all been to one of those along
-
the way somewhere where you go to a
-
prayer meeting and say what'd you pray
-
about do what you know and uh so we we
-
just said what we know for sure after
-
doing a number of prayer conferences I
-
have no idea how many we've done so far
-
but
-
um in doing that you know one thing we
-
know for sure is uh we're going to pray
-
and u and I we started out saying uh my
-
plan and it's it's uh It's um uh it's
-
work, but my my plan is to teach a
-
little shorter and pray a little longer.
-
Um you know, it's easy for a teacher to
-
teach and uh and teach and teach and
-
teach and it's easy to do that, but we
-
said we're going to do our best
-
discipline to teach a little shorter.
-
Now, the word's always good. Don't
-
misunderstand me. But if you don't take
-
the word and and apply something to it,
-
and the best time to apply something to
-
the word you get is to do it instantly.
-
Get it working. Get that seed down in
-
the ground. Get it working. So, so
-
anyway, but
-
>> [clears throat]
-
>> um uh it's been, you know, two, four,
-
six, what, seven services so far. And um
-
we've thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. U
-
got a lot of gone a lot of directions we
-
didn't know for sure. And I made the
-
statement at one point that uh I I was I
-
was kind of ex expecting uh the only way
-
I can describe it. I it just seemed to
-
me and you know you can I know you've
-
never done this but you know you can
-
misinterpret anything. You can
-
misconstrue what you get by the Holy
-
Ghost and put your own interpretation on
-
it. So you know don't want to do that
-
but it just seemed to me that there were
-
some areas that God was needing, wanting
-
whatever. uh us to get involved in and
-
lock arms with him and help him get
-
something done. And and we know
-
searching the scriptures, you have not
-
because you ask not. Ask and you shall
-
receive that your joy may be full. We we
-
know to do that and and um looking back
-
over the last three days um it just uh
-
it's there's some particular areas
-
seemed like to me that we we kind of
-
landed on some uh Holy Ghost fields out
-
there where we were able to to tap into
-
some certain things. And uh you know I
-
don't know about you but uh Monday night
-
uh I think was it Monday night my
-
night's running together but Monday
-
night we came in here and we had a place
-
in worship um beyond anything I've been
-
around in a long time and uh that was
-
wonderful and praise and worship praise
-
is the highest kind of prayer. So when
-
we just start out like that, uh there
-
are a lot of things I'm sure God did in
-
the middle of all that. And uh and then
-
and then another facet is uh we we
-
talked about how um I I made mention
-
that I was listening through uh I I
-
brother Hagen lives in my uh my iPhone.
-
It goes everywhere with me. I get in my
-
car, I plug it in and I start listening
-
and I I listen to him. You know, um
-
there are a lot of radio stations you
-
can tap into, but none of them are as
-
good as brother Hagen. So, I I get him
-
in there and and uh uh there was a uh um
-
a couple different sessions that that
-
I'd been, you know, listening to just
-
lately. And um I I went back through and
-
one in particular was I I don't know the
-
year. I've tried to get it's not on my
-
phone. It's just it's it's in there, but
-
I have no idea what year it came in. But
-
um goodness, I think it was uh after
-
Pastor Jen, I believe it was after we
-
got married, we went to a se brother
-
Hagen did a uh prayer seminar and we
-
went to that prayer seminar and uh he
-
was uh teaching of course teaching on
-
the subject of prayer and and you know
-
this is repetition. I talked about this
-
a few days ago, but we he was talking
-
about that and um
-
uh and one of the one of the things we
-
did emphasize in the beginning of the
-
week is I believe Paul, you know, Paul
-
wrote to the Romans and he said Romans
Romans 1 chapter mention
-
chapter 1 verse uh 10 and 11, he said,
-
you know, I want I'm praying for a
-
prosperous journey by the will of God to
-
come unto you. Verse 11, he says, "For I
-
long to see you. I long he just wrote
-
this amazing letter or he's writing this
-
amazing letter to him the book of
-
Romans. I don't know about you, I get a
-
lot of good out of the, you know, he
-
didn't say, "I'm I'm sending you a
-
really good letter. Just read it over
-
and over and over and over and over and
-
over and over and then start all over
-
again. You'll get everything you need."
-
And that you'd think that'd be enough.
-
If the word only was enough, then that
-
was all they would have needed. You
-
know, well, I need the word. That's all
-
I need. Well, funny thing was Jesus was
-
called the word.
-
>> Yeah.
-
>> In the beginning was the
-
>> word. The word was with God. The word
-
was God. The same as in the beginning
-
with God. all and we we know all these
-
truths from the scriptures. He's called
-
the word. But if you'll notice, the word
-
was on earth from the time he took on
-
flesh to dwell among us until we see him
-
at 12 years old. Then we see him again
-
at 30 years old. We see him when he's uh
-
baptized in the Jordan by John the
-
Baptist. He comes out of the water
-
praying. The heavens open, the spirit of
-
God descends in bodily form like a dove
-
remains upon him. He has a spirit
-
without measure. We see all that. And
-
then we find Jesus who had not worked a
-
miracle in the first 30 years of his
-
existence on planet earth. Okay. But
-
then all of a sudden when the Holy Ghost
-
came on him, the spirit of God came on
-
him. He said the spirit of we Luke 4th
-
chapter verse 17 I think he said the
-
spirit of the Lord's upon me because
-
he's anointed me. He left that anointing
-
behind when he came down here took on
-
flesh to dwell among us. He paid the
-
price stripped himself of his mighty
-
power and glory. came down here, took on
-
flesh and blood to dwell among us. And
-
when he did that, the Holy Ghost came on
-
him at about 30 years old approximately.
-
And when that happened, uh, from that
-
point on, I think it was John's gospel
-
where he said, "If everything Jesus did
-
could be written down, I don't suppose
-
the world itself could contain the
-
volumes." So there's no miracles for the
-
first 30 years of his existence on
-
earth. And then the last three years,
-
John said, "We couldn't write it all
-
down." It's when the word and the spirit
-
came together. And so with that being
-
the case um
-
we we made the statement that you know
-
Paul wrote and he said I long to I long
-
to see you. Romans chapter 1 vers 11 he
Romans 1 chapter mention
-
says for I long to see you. I long to
-
see you. Why? You got something I need.
-
We're going to receive big offerings.
-
We're going to No. What did he say? He
-
said I long to see you. Why? That I may
-
>> impart to you. I long to see you that I
-
may impart to you some spiritual gift.
-
some supernatural spiritual endowment,
-
some measure of the Holy Ghost. As we
-
used to saying, just one dose of the
-
Holy Ghost is not enough for me. I long
-
to see you that I may impart to you some
-
spiritual gift to the end you may be
-
established, made steady, sturdy, made
-
uh able to stand. And so I I we started
-
out earlier this week said, you know, I
-
really I really believed through the
-
week that um you know, there were times
-
uh you know, God with Numbers the 11th
-
chapter with Moses, God said, you bring
-
the seven 70 of the elders you have that
-
you think are the best in the group.
-
Bring them together and when my spirit
-
comes down on you, I'll take some what's
-
on you by my presence and I'll put it on
-
them and they'll help take carry the
-
load. Because before that, he had a
-
church of three million unsaved people.
-
and he said, "God, God, just kill me,
-
please. I can't I can't do this." So,
-
anyway, we we look back there and and um
-
uh the Holy Ghost came on, you know, it
-
was it was of course came on Moses back
-
there and then on the 70 and so on. But
-
Paul wrote and he said, "I long to see
-
that I may impart to you some spiritual
-
gift." And uh if he could do it back
-
there for the Romans, then God could do
-
it today for in in the church of Tulsa.
-
And so, he said, "We're just planning.
-
we're expecting. And if God can do that,
-
he sure he can do it through the laying
-
on of hands. Sure, he can do it through
-
uh association. Okay? Sure, he can do it
-
through through pieces of cloth like the
-
ministry of of Paul. But we just kind of
-
had a great expectation that if we just
-
get in his presence, we're going to get
-
something.
-
>> And and I believe we did. I believe we
-
did. Most of the things I've ever gotten
-
from heaven like that, I didn't know I
-
got them until they were there for quite
-
a while. And all a sudden, they'd show
-
up and I'd think, I don't even know
-
where that came from. And I remember a
-
meeting I got into where the anointing
-
of God, the presence of God came in. So
-
anyway, um we we we talked about that
-
and and um and then you know going back
-
through uh in uh this meeting like I
-
said, Brother Hagen was teaching on
-
prayer
-
and and in doing that um he'd been doing
-
it for I I think maybe three or four
-
nights I'm guessing. I don't recall. I
-
don't even know exactly when the meeting
-
was at this point. But uh in in doing
-
that he he stops and he says okay now we
-
uh made a couple comments and he said uh
-
he said now he said the things we've
-
been talking about a move of God a
-
revival an outpouring of the spirit of
-
God a move of the Holy Ghost things
-
we've been talking about even here this
-
is talking in this service he said um in
-
those those those things we've been
-
talking about like that um you know uh
-
we're not we're not going to have those
-
things until we get the kind of prayer
-
that's going to give birth to those
-
things. The Apostle Paul wrote to the
-
Romans, chapter 4, I think it's verse
Romans 4 chapter mention
-
19, he said uh he said uh writing to
-
them, he said um uh you know, he said uh
-
talked about how he was going to uh he
-
wanted to to uh u pray over the minister
-
there. He said that you know that that
-
Christ may be formed in you. And so
-
going down that road, um, Brother Hagen
-
said in this service, he said, you know,
-
he said, so he said, there's a there's a
-
kind of prayer that we're not going to
-
have the move of God that we've been
-
looking for, asking for, preaching
-
about, we're not going to have that
-
until we get into a place where God can
-
give birth to that. Uh, again, as Paul
-
said, my little children of whom I
-
travail in birth again till Christ be
-
formed in you. until we get the kind of
-
praying that's going to do that. And he
-
said, "So, what I'm going to do now," he
-
said, "there's a I'm going to call
-
Brother Halverson up here." Well, I'd
-
heard his name, but I didn't have a clue
-
who he was. And he said, "Brother Phil
-
Halverson, I've known him for many
-
years." He said, "He's the real deal."
-
He said, "He's a real among other
-
things, he's a real intercessor, and I'm
-
going to have him come up here and he's
-
going to lead us." He said, "We have
-
people leading singing. We have people
-
lead worship. We let He says, "We have
-
people, we even have people leading some
-
prayer sometimes. But sometimes just
-
this little bit of prayer that we do, it
-
just doesn't do an awful lot of good.
-
But I'm going to have brother Halverson
-
come up and lead us in prayer because
-
until we get to where we're moving in
-
this kind of prayer, we're not going to
-
have the kind of move of God that we're
-
looking for." Well, I thought, well, you
-
know, Jen and I, we're we're sitting way
-
up in the nosebleleed section up here.
-
And I thought, I don't know what this
-
is, but if this is what's going to bring
-
it to pass, I want to know about it. And
-
so, Brother Halverson came up and I'm
-
expecting the spiritual giant to come up
-
and this guy comes up and takes the
-
microphone and away he goes. And the
-
minute he stepped up there, u you know,
-
real inter intercession, we talked about
-
it this morning,
-
real intercession is defined, best
-
definition I've ever heard is when the
-
the Holy Ghost takes hold together with
-
us against something. It's when the
-
spirit of God takes hold. It's not
-
intercession is not just when you pray
-
for your neighbor. You can do that
-
without intercession. Intercession is
-
not just when you pray. Intercession is
-
when you pray and the spirit of God
-
connects with you and you lock arms on
-
that and when he comes on you and the
-
two of you get together uh you're he
-
takes hold together with you against
-
something. And so um uh so anyway uh
-
brother Halverson began to pray. And I I
-
don't know about you if you've ever
-
heard that kind of praying. And uh I'm
-
going down this road for a purpose here
-
for just a moment. But uh I'd never
-
heard, you know, I'd been around Brother
-
Hagen for uh at that time probably a
-
couple years and I'd heard him pray. I
-
heard how he prayed at different times
-
and services and all that. But when
-
Brother Halverson got up there, began to
-
pray. Uh intercession, he he didn't
-
just, you know, it didn't take him 20
-
minutes to get there. He stepped up,
-
opened his mouth, the Holy Ghost fell on
-
him, and he began to pray by the spirit
-
of God. Intercession came on him, and he
-
began to pray in some ways I'd never
-
heard before. He launched out into in
-
tongues and then within a few moments
-
he's in English and then a few moments
-
later he's back in tongues and then he's
-
back in English and he's praying about
-
Monday, Monday, Monday and then he's
-
praying about America and then he's
-
praying he's going back and forth um
-
praying about different things. But it
-
was as the spirit of God took him into
-
these locations and he prayed I don't
-
know brother Hagen only had him up there
-
maybe five minutes at the most something
-
like that. But um there was a kind of
-
prayer that the only way I can describe
-
it is we're in this meeting. A lot of
-
friends of ours were in that meeting and
-
and uh [clears throat] a lot of those
-
people we'd see over the next I don't
-
know six months to a year. We'd be
-
someplace with them and we'd get
-
together to pray and I noticed that same
-
kind of prayer. They'd start praying
-
that same kind of prayer would come on
-
them. I noticed in my own life didn't
-
have any clue of any such a thing. They
-
didn't pray that way in the church where
-
I grew up. I can tell you that much. But
-
we'd get to praying and I'm telling you
-
that same that same
-
dimension of intercession would just
-
come on us. I said, ' God, I don't
-
understand all this, but I mean, I I'll
-
take this. In fact, just put me into a
-
into a cave somewhere. I'll do this rest
-
of my life. This is wonderful. And uh
-
and I I just say when over the past uh
-
well, we had Sunday, Monday, Tuesday,
-
and then this morning. So, we got, you
-
know, three and a half days and then
-
tonight. uh as we
-
uh unitedly prayed, you know, I'm
-
praying, but while I'm praying, I'm kind
-
of listening to hear where things are
-
going. And the only thing I can say is
-
the as we unitedly were there, one kind
-
of prayer is united prayer. And you
-
can't replace that with anything else.
-
And as we prayed like that, the the the
-
Holy Ghost came on. And there was a
-
dimension of prayer that we stepped over
-
into a number of times in the past three
-
days. And I, you know, the only thing I
-
could think of is this is what we ran
-
into with brother Philip Halverson a
-
number of years ago, but God deposited
-
that into a whole bunch of people in the
-
body of Christ. And a lot of us picked
-
up a measure of that. And when we got
-
together praying like that, we over the
-
past three and a half days, we have
-
covered a lot of territory with that
-
kind of prayer. That tells me this whole
-
thing started in in in my thinking that
-
that whole thing started with we're not
-
going to have a move of God like we're
-
talking about praying about desiring a
-
move of the spirit. We're not going to
-
have that until we do something to give
-
birth to that by the Holy Ghost. And to
-
me, it just felt like we're on the edge
-
of some of that for the past three days.
-
I believe God's been uh equipping us for
-
the days to come. I believe if we step
-
out, step in and continue to flow with
-
that. Okay, now we can't get this whole
-
group together. Some of you are from
-
other countries. We can't do this all
-
the time. But I'll tell you what, we can
-
get into our own prayer closet and tap
-
into that. Okay, so anyway, I got to get
-
moving here. All right, let's um let's
-
go over to um
-
uh 1 Timothy chapter 2.
1 Timothy 2 chapter mention
-
I said [snorts] the other day, I said,
-
'I really think there's some things that
-
God really um that he would uh like us
-
to um he'd like us to get ourselves
-
involved in. There's some things,
-
whether you want to call it a mandate,
-
an assignment,
-
whatever terminology we want to use. And
-
and I want to get to that just for a few
-
minutes this evening. Then we're going
-
to pray, okay? And you know, you never
-
you never get to where you're done
-
praying. You just unhook until you can
-
reconnect the next time. But that being
-
the case, um
-
1 Timothy chapter 2:1,
-
uh this is this is one of my uh go-to
-
scriptures. I I go to a lot in the area
-
of prayer. We do noon hour prayer four
-
days a week and uh you know online. And
-
this is one I go to a lot. It's it's
-
something it's a jumping off place. You
-
can jump off and find it's hard to find
-
your way back. But he says here chapter
-
2 vers1 where Paul writes here and he's
-
writing to um Timothy 1 Timothy 2:1 he's
-
writing to Timothy Paul is an older
-
minister and he's writing to Timothy a
-
young pastor in the church at Ephesus
-
we've been on we've been we've been
-
hanging out with Ephesus all week long
-
okay and uh so he says this chapter 2
-
verse one he said I exhort therefore
-
that first of all first of all now you
-
know I I thought about this we could
-
have started out Sunday morning with
-
this because he did say first of all,
-
but I think he's a little more lax on
-
that that we could we're still in the
-
same meeting, so I think we could go
-
back and do first of all now. But he
-
said, I exhort therefore that first of
-
all, first of all, he's going to give
-
some specific directions here to a young
-
pastor coming up. He's going to have a
-
big thriving strong church. He's going
-
to have a lot of work to do. And Paul's
-
giving him some some fatherly uh
-
apostles advice for him. And he said, "I
-
exhort therefore I encourage I I
-
admonish you. I exhort therefore that
-
first of all, first of all, so
-
apparently this ought to be coming. This
-
is before you pray for grandma. This
-
this is before you pray for Aunt Susie.
-
It doesn't make any difference. First of
-
all, it's good to pray for everybody."
-
But he starts here. He says, "I exhort
-
therefore that first of all
-
supplications, prayers,
-
intercessions, and giving of thanks."
-
See, he didn't just narrow it down to
-
just pray the prayer of faith over
-
somebody and they'll get it and you'll
-
be just fine. No, he said, "I exhort
-
there therefore that first of all,
-
supplications, prayers, intercessions,
-
and giving of thanks." He said, "I want
-
you to get to where you are so uh in
-
tune with the spirit of God that he can
-
lead you into what kind of prayer you
-
need to go." Sometimes, I mean, think
-
about it. Sometimes you might just need
-
to get into the prayer of giving thanks.
-
>> How many times did you say, "We're going
-
to have a prayer meeting tonight. We're
-
going to take all of our political
-
leaders that we all know and love so
-
much
-
and we're going to spend the whole
-
evening giving thanks for them. Lord,
-
we're just going to give thanks for all
-
of our how when was the last time you're
-
in a meeting like that? It's a kind of
-
prayer, supplication. Okay.
-
Supplication, prayers, intercessions.
-
Now that we talked about that this
-
morning and there's a lot more to that
-
than what we had time to cover, but
-
supplications, prayers, intercession,
-
and giving of thanks be Now he says for
-
all men. So everybody qualifies.
-
Everybody would we if we if we were
-
alive back in the 30s, whatever, would
-
we have pray would we have been
-
comfortable praying for Adolf Hitler?
-
Are
-
>> you kidding me? No. No. No. But he
-
needed it more than anybody.
-
But anyway, I exhort therefore the first
-
of all supplications, prayers,
-
intercession, and giving of thanks be
-
made for all men. He didn't exclude.
-
There's nobody that is disqualified.
-
Doesn't matter who it is. Doesn't matter
-
how ugly they are. Doesn't matter how
-
good, bad, indifferent, doesn't make any
-
difference. If they are a person, then
-
they do qualify.
-
>> Now, I don't know about you, I've had
-
people in my life for over the years
-
when I first got saved, there were
-
people I thought I ain't praying for
-
them, you know. [laughter]
-
Uh-uh. No, no, not on a good day or a
-
bad day. Not going to do it. And then
-
I'd read my Bible and I think I don't
-
have a choice in this. Start praying. It
-
is the funniest thing. You start praying
-
for people, you quit being aggravated at
-
them.
-
>> And if you're aggravated at them, you're
-
not praying for them.
-
>> Well, I don't know if I like the
-
political leaders. Well, I I [laughter]
-
[gasps] I can take a wild guess about
-
you. You ain't praying for them
-
>> because once you start praying for
-
somebody, you lo you lose all the
-
animosity.
-
I don't none of you have any animosity.
-
I get that. I get that. You know, but
-
I've heard people say things, ugly
-
things in days gone by. And you know,
-
and of course, President Trump, he's
-
such a
-
>> mildmannered. Yeah.
-
Yeah. Mildmannered. That's the term I'm
-
looking for. Easygoing, mildmannered.
-
You know, just you know, you know, you
-
know, [laughter]
-
he's always going to be sweet and kind
-
walking in. No, like somebody said, we
-
didn't we didn't get a pope. We got a
-
president.
-
But uh and folks have their opinions,
-
but stop. Bottom line, I'm getting way
-
off course. I don't know if I'm ever
-
going to find my way back. Open the
-
door, let me out, and then we'll lock
-
it. Anyway, he says, "I exhort therefore
-
that first of all, supplications,
-
prayers, intercessions, and giving of
-
thanks be made for
-
>> all men."
-
>> All men, all mankind. Doesn't matter who
-
doesn't matter how ugly they've been.
-
Doesn't matter how mean they've been.
-
Doesn't matter whe you like them or not.
-
In fact, the worse they are, the
-
probably the more we ought to be praying
-
for them.
-
>> So anyway, that's extra that don't
-
charge me for I won't charge you for
-
that one. So anyway, supplications,
-
prayers, intercessions, and giving of
-
thanks be made for be made for all men.
-
But then he gets more specific on this
-
in this particular context. He says for
-
kings and those in in authority. So in
-
other words, don't just pray for your
-
friends, your neighbors, your relatives,
-
your loved ones. Bring that back around
-
because the main purpose of this is to
-
pray for kings and those that are in
-
authority. Those in a a place of of u uh
-
authority.
-
Somebody's making decisions that affect
-
your life. For this is good. Pray for
-
kings and those that are in authority
-
that we now what'd he say that we might
-
we pray for them. So apparently them are
-
not part of we. So apparently they're
-
not believers. Apparently they're not
-
Christians. Apparently they're not
-
church folks. But he said, "Pray for
-
them anyway so that we might lead a
-
quiet and peaceable life and all
-
godliness and honesty." Or one
-
translation says, "All freedom of
-
religion and high moral standards."
-
>> Well, last I checked, the church world
-
isn't necessarily living in all kinds of
-
freedom and high moral standards.
-
>> We won't even go down that road. If
-
we're not there, it's not God's fault.
-
If we're not there, he's holding the
-
church accountable.
-
Oh, I don't want to hear about that.
-
Well, we'll stay there for a few minutes
-
and you can get glad in the same shoes
-
you got mad. And anyway, anyway, in
-
going back through there, he's writing
-
here. He says, I exhort therefore that
-
first of all, supplication. I'm I'm
-
heading somewhere with this.
-
Supplications, prayers, intercession,
-
giving of thanks be made for all men,
-
for kings, and for those that are in
-
authority, that we might lead a quiet
-
and peaceable life in all godliness and
-
honesty. For this is good and
-
acceptable. Wouldn't you want to do
-
what's good and acceptable in the sight
-
of God? Who would have all men? He said
-
that would have all men to be saved and
-
to come under the knowledge of the
-
truth. Apparently, our praying for our
-
leadership has something to do with all
-
men being saved. It has something to do
-
with harvest. It has something to do
-
with re revival. Has something to do
-
with the move of God. I don't know about
-
you, but probably there was a time
-
before November of 1972, there's
-
probably some situations where I
-
probably wasn't the nicest guy in the
-
world.
-
Maybe I was probably not. Okay, I'm so
-
I'm glad people didn't judge me on the
-
account of what I was like at that time
-
cuz it wasn't always real good. I was so
-
glad that people went after me. Anyway,
-
George Fiero, the guy, would not leave
-
me alone. He was in my dorm. He would
-
not leave me alone. He's one of the
-
navigators. I said, "You're one of those
-
people?" He said, "Yes, I am." I said,
-
"Well, good. I don't want I I'm not
-
interested." He said, "Good. You go to
-
my meeting and then I'll leave you
-
alone. I'm not going to your meeting."
-
He said, "You go and I'll leave you
-
alone." I said, "No, leave me alone." He
-
said, "I'll leave you alone when you go
-
to my meeting." Thought, "Who are you?
-
Who put you on my case?"
-
So, I finally went to the meeting and it
-
wasn't bad. So, I went the next meeting,
-
walked an aisle, prayed to receive
-
Jesus, and I've been walking with him
-
ever since. Somebody came after me in
-
the middle of being ugly to them.
-
>> You can't judge a book by the cover,
-
man. You can't tell. You can't tell what
-
how bad somebody's looking for answers.
-
You have no idea because usually the
-
people looking the hardest for the
-
answers can be just the meanest folks
-
about the whole thing and and just get
-
on your case and and want you to leave
-
them alone, but they don't really want
-
you to leave them alone. They just
-
>> Right.
-
>> Yeah. Anyway, now in going back through
-
here, got to get moving. In going back
-
through here, he said, um,
-
he makes this statement, for this is
-
good and acceptable in the sight of God,
-
who would have all men to be saved and
-
to come under the knowledge of the truth
-
and so on. This whole chapter is good.
-
And uh, in talking about that, I uh, I
-
remember it was um, I I think it was
-
right. I think it was in this
-
auditorium. I think it was I think this
-
was after we expanded the the auditorium
-
here and it was it would have been um
-
October of 2008.
-
It was it you know the the the elections
-
you know where Barack Obama was elected
-
president uh which would have been uh
-
November of 2008. This was October and
-
uh you know and and really all I I I
-
told church I said I I don't get this. I
-
don't have any uncction to come in and
-
pray about the elections. I just have to
-
I've got uncction to come pray for the
-
nation. Don't know why. I don't know. I
-
can't tell you anything about that.
-
We're just going to come together and I
-
think we did that for a week or so. I'm
-
not real sure. But we we come in here
-
night after night and one night I'm just
-
walking along over right over in this
-
area
-
and and I heard on the inside, okay? It
-
wasn't a booming voice. It wasn't an
-
angelic visitation. I just heard on the
-
inside. I just heard inside just the
-
witness of the spirit, the voice of
-
stillness heard on the inside. There are
-
three spirits that have been unleashed
-
upon America again.
-
Okay, now that'll get your attention.
-
There are three spirits that have been
-
unleashed upon America again uh to try
-
to destroy her and I want you to do
-
something about it. I'm thinking, um,
-
you want who to do what? You know, I
-
don't have a clue what he's talking
-
about. Okay, this was 2008, October
-
2008. And I didn't even really know what
-
that meant. Well, you know, I got to
-
thinking about that and I think I told
-
the church, I said, I, you know, we we
-
just need to do something about this.
-
There are three spirits that have been
-
unleashed upon America again to try to
-
destroy her. And when he said, you're
-
going to have to do something about it,
-
I you know, I was smart enough to know
-
he didn't mean I have going to have to
-
do something about it. He meant we the
-
church are going to have to do something
-
about it. And so that much I knew. Well,
-
you know, in moving along, we um
-
a little while later, I was looking
-
through Brother Hagen's book on uh it
-
was it was originally the original copy
-
was called The Art of Intercession. They
-
re-edited the book and it came out, I
-
think, the art the art of prayer. Okay.
-
But I I cut my teeth on the art of
-
intercession. I've probably got multiple
-
copies of that and I spent a lot of time
-
reading that. Well, I dug that back out.
-
But I hadn't read it in quite a while.
-
And I got to one of the last chapters
-
and um in in going back through there,
-
one of the chapters was interceding for
-
your nation. And um when I when I got to
-
looking at that, I I pulled up that
-
chapter and in looking at that chapter,
-
uh I all of a sudden it's like uh I got
-
a good view of what was going going on.
-
And brother Hagen was talking in this in
-
this chapter and he said uh use this
-
verse, you know, where where uh Paul
-
wrote and he said uh um writing to
-
Timothy, I exhort therefore that first
-
of all supplications, prayers,
-
intercession, giving of thanks be made
-
for all men, for kings and for those
-
that are in authority. Used that verse
-
in there. And then he went on and and
-
talked about um how uh he was uh they
-
were doing camp meeting. Camp meeting
-
1979.
-
The last night of camp meeting they were
-
it was at the civic center downtown in
-
Tulsa. And um you know they had a a
-
suite up there where all the guest
-
ministers and other friends could go up
-
afterward. And they're up there you know
-
just fellowship and having a good time.
-
him said the spirit of God came on him
-
and he said it was about midnight and I
-
I told the other men he said the Holy
-
Ghost came on me and he said I stopped
-
and ministered to every one of them by
-
the spirit of God and he said I got to
-
pray I got to pray and he said I've had
-
the spirit of God come on me at
-
different times but I've never had it
-
come I've had it two or three times in
-
my life to that same degree and he said
-
uh so he said I got to praying about it
-
he said I started at midnight and I
-
finally quit praying when I did I
-
thought it had been probably an hour or
-
so it was 4:00 in the morning been
-
praying the the Holy Ghost came on me.
-
Prayed till 4:00 in the morning. But he
-
said um in this in this I want to just
-
kind of see if I can kind of hurry
-
through this and we're going to pray. He
-
said in this um
-
he said uh now now he said uh the spirit
-
of God showed up and he said this was
-
again this was um probably the end of
-
July 1979 it would have been in this he
-
said all of a sudden he said I saw uh
-
God showed me he said I saw
-
three
-
he said they would be almost like giant
-
froglike creatures. Well, sometimes evil
-
spirits can show up in the spirit
-
different ways. You look in Genesis or
-
uh Revelation, I think 15th chapter
-
talks about these three spirits that
-
were coming, you know, through the book
-
of Revelation, and they looked like
-
froglike creatures. But he said, "I saw
-
these three creatures coming up
-
technically coming up, as we'd say, out
-
of the Atlantic." And he said, one of
-
them was already out of the water. They
-
were like the size of a giant whale. One
-
of them came up out of the water and the
-
other two were just sticking their heads
-
up and they're they're about to invade
-
the nation. This was uh you know he's
-
seeing this in July of uh 1979
-
and he said uh they they came out and
-
they they began to come across the the
-
na they're heading out to try to destroy
-
the nation. Okay. Now you know and again
-
and you can misinterpret anything when
-
you start seeing things like that. It's
-
not that there's going to this big big
-
old ugly creature going to come walking
-
down the streets and start slapping
-
people. Um it's creatures like that. Uh
-
evil spirits have to work through
-
people. You know, Galatia uh Ephesians
-
chapter chapter 6 verse 10 11 something
-
like that. He says uh for we wrestle not
-
against flesh and blood but against
-
principalities, powers, rulers of the
-
darkness of this world, wicked spirits
-
in heavenly places. you know our you
-
know the bottom line people are not our
-
problem but the thing is people yield to
-
the wrong spirits and then they become a
-
problem
-
>> and so really that's what that was all
-
about was he was showing him he said
-
there are three spirits and this is 1979
-
there are three spirits and he's seeing
-
this these three spirits coming up out
-
of the Atlantic well doesn't mean
-
they're coming out of the ocean okay see
-
is usually a picture of large masses of
-
people so you know to get a good look at
-
this what he's saying is there are going
-
to be evil spirits are going to try to
-
work through the lives of individ
-
individuals in our nation and they're
-
going to try to work through leadership
-
and if you don't do your job concerning
-
praying for the leadership they are
-
going to cause real problems in the
-
nation. That's my interpretation of it.
-
So he's he's um
-
explaining this and then he said the
-
Holy Ghost the Lord spoke to him in this
-
visitation. He said I talked to you and
-
showed you this same thing back in this
-
is 1979. I showed you this thing back in
-
1970 and he said I showed you you saw
-
almost the same thing. There were three
-
spirits looked a little different, but
-
they're coming out of the east coast and
-
they ran clear across the nation. And he
-
said, "I told you what to do about it,
-
and you didn't do it." That's to what
-
you don't want to hear from the head of
-
the church. He said, "You didn't do what
-
I told you to do about that. And because
-
you didn't do that, there are things
-
that happened in your nation that
-
shouldn't have and wouldn't have
-
happened if you'd have done your job."
-
He said, "A man, I just fell down on the
-
floor and wept." I said, "Oh, God, I'm
-
so sorry. I didn't do what you told me
-
to do." And to kind of put a cap on this
-
part, he said, uh, there were things
-
coming into your nation back roughly
-
around 1970. This visitation came in
-
1970. He said, ' There are some things
-
coming across your nation. There were
-
three spirits that were unleashed upon
-
your nation to try to destroy and you
-
didn't do anything about it. And he
-
said, because of that, he said, you had
-
Watergate.
-
Everybody blamed president. He said, I'm
-
not going to hold him accountable. I'm
-
holding the church accountable when the
-
when we all get up before the throne of
-
God. I'm not I'm not going to hold the
-
president accountable for what happened
-
with Watergate. I'm going to hold the
-
church accountable because they weren't
-
praying for him.
-
And he said um he said and and then he
-
said and then and then he said and I I
-
remembered you know right after this I
-
don't know about you but um you know the
-
uh right at late60s I think it was 1969
-
was the the uh um uh when you know we
-
had the the big uh rock festival
-
>> Woodstock. Some of you know what that
-
was.
-
I had friends that went
-
tried to get me to go. Thought if I did,
-
my mother would have the US marshals out
-
looking for me and her right on the
-
front lines. But anyway,
-
Woodstock. So, I mean, we're looking
-
back at the late 60s, early 70s, and
-
there's Woodstock, there's the the
-
unrest in America, there's the the the
-
Kent State shootings, there's the the oh
-
my goodness, the Woodstock generation,
-
there's the hippie movement, there's
-
craziness in the nation. Does anybody
-
remember that?
-
>> Yeah, I try not to remember much of it,
-
but you know, a lot of us were around at
-
that. I was in college right around that
-
time, and it was full of crazy people.
-
My dorm was full of crazy people. Of
-
course, I wasn't one of them, but
-
Anyway, so looking back through there,
-
um
-
Jesus told him, "If you'd have done if
-
you would have done what I told you to
-
do,
-
then the then the uh the Watergate thing
-
wouldn't have happened. You could have
-
stopped that. You could have stopped
-
that." Uh how many remember when we had
-
uh goodness, it was uh Detroit, it was
-
uh Watts, it was Harlem. uh the the the
-
cities that were on fire, the areas that
-
were being burned down. He said those
-
fires would not have taken place, the
-
the the racial unrest, the financial
-
mess, the political unrest, all that.
-
That would not have happened. I I showed
-
you what was coming and I told you what
-
to do about it. You didn't do anything
-
about it. And he said, "I'm telling you
-
right now, there's some things coming
-
again." And he said, "It's different,
-
but it's sort of going to be the same
-
and you're going to have to do something
-
about it this time." He said, "Lord,
-
I'll do it. I'll do it. I'll do it." and
-
he said, "It'll be a little bit
-
different, but there's some things
-
coming concerning your president." It
-
wasn't too long after that that Ronald
-
Reagan had the assassination attempt.
-
They didn't think he was going to make
-
it. He's almost dead when they got him
-
to the hospital. He raised up and
-
finished his presidency. Okay? They
-
said, "There's some things concerning
-
the president. There's some things
-
concerning the finances. There's he said
-
there are three spirits and they're
-
going to try to affect the political
-
upheaval.
-
They're going to try to affect the
-
racial or social system. They're going
-
to try to affect the financial system in
-
your nation and you're going to have to
-
do something. If you'll do what you're
-
supposed to do and get the church
-
praying, then it's going to those things
-
won't come to pass. And so this, you
-
know, of course, this was 1970 and I I
-
didn't start walking with God till I was
-
until 72. So this is all news to me. But
-
going back through there when this came
-
in 1970, I remember that we were in
-
those meetings. We were in the camp
-
meeting that year. and and um you know
-
and and Jesus talked to him about this
-
and said you're going to have to do
-
something about this and he did and
-
Ronald Reagan, President Reagan's life
-
was spared, the financial things turned
-
around pretty good. We we had a good
-
season around that time. The church did
-
its job. Well, okay, I said all that to
-
say this. I didn't have a visitation. I
-
did not have a a a vision. I didn't have
-
an angelic visitation. But walking
-
across the auditorium, I did hear
-
there's a uh there are three spirits.
-
Now, I knew in 70 and I knew in 79 when
-
I read back through that book, the the
-
art of intercession that these three
-
spirits are going to influence people to
-
do what they do, which would be
-
financial, it would be econom or uh
-
financial, it would be social, and it
-
would be political.
-
And and so I knew that was, you know, I
-
knew that was kind of how these three
-
things WERE GOING. WELL, I'M walking
-
over here in the auditorium and I hear
-
on the inside there are three spirits
-
that have been unleashed upon America
-
again. When he said again, I thought
-
apparently this has been here before to
-
try to destroy her. And you're going to
-
have to do something about it. I knew he
-
didn't mean me. He I knew he meant the
-
church. We didn't do our job in 1970. We
-
did okay in 1979, but when we hit 2008,
-
we better get this right or we're going
-
to have a mess in our nation.
-
>> Okay? And and uh so I I the church I
-
believe the church prayed. I believe we
-
did our job by the Holy Ghost. I believe
-
we we we nullified some things. I
-
believe we minimized some things. I
-
believe we stopped some things. I
-
believe the church did our job and it
-
changed the whole it changed things.
-
Those three spirits were out to try to
-
raise people up and get people in
-
positions uh of some kind of authority
-
to try to mess with our country and turn
-
it into a wreck. But they didn't get to
-
do it. We're alive and well today. And
-
and u I'm going to stop with this
-
because we could go on and on, but but
-
this has been stirring in me for weeks
-
now. And I didn't have the same
-
encounter. Okay. Had that uh in 2008.
-
And then a number of years later, the
-
same thing kind of rose up on the inside
-
again. It wasn't as strong. It wasn't as
-
strong. But I did know there's something
-
that we the church. I don't know why
-
this keeps coming. It's it has goes in a
-
cycle. I don't know why we in the church
-
have to keep getting back down to
-
business and running this stuff off, but
-
we do have to. And I could be totally
-
wrong if I am. You know, the thing is if
-
I'm wrong, it doesn't hurt to pray.
-
>> Look at it that way. But it's been the
-
past, I don't know, couple weeks here.
-
Um, and and I don't know, it's not
-
because of what's on the news. I mean,
-
you've got you've got the upheaval in
-
goodness right now. I don't know. And I
-
don't mean this to throw off on certain
-
cities, but certain upheaval in Portland
-
and in uh Minneapolis and in I think in
-
Chicago. There are certain cities that
-
seem to have an upheaval. Well, we don't
-
wrestle against flesh and blood.
-
>> And we have to understand people are not
-
the problem. They may look like it and
-
act like it, but I'll tell you what, if
-
you if you let spirits get into these
-
places and find people that'll yield to
-
them, you'll end up with a technical
-
mess. And uh and I could be wrong, okay?
-
Hope I am. You know, you ever hope
-
you're wrong? I do quite often, but um
-
it just there's just something it seems
-
like in my in in my seamer. Okay. It
-
just seems like there's something
-
working out there. Something working.
-
And it says those same three kinds of
-
spirits that keep getting unleashed upon
-
America. It's financial, it's political,
-
and and it's uh social. And it'll get
-
people at each other's throats. It gets
-
racial. It gets people trying to kill
-
their own brothers and sisters and and
-
and people get ugly about things and
-
then the financial things get into a
-
mess and everybody gets in the middle of
-
that and the whole nation and it's all
-
about stopping the harvest.
-
>> It's all about stopping the harvest. I
-
don't know about you, I'm not willing to
-
give in that easy.
-
>> And I'm just going to I just wanted to
-
go this far and there's no use going any
-
further. If you want to get Brother
-
Hagen's book on uh the art of prayer,
-
something like that, read back through
-
it, uh it'll be good. You'll be glad you
-
got it. But I'd like us to pray. It just
-
seemed to me that one more thing we
-
needed to do before we finish the week
-
is to first of all take time to pray for
-
kings and those that are in authority.
-
We need I don't know about you. We need
-
to pray for our president.
-
>> Is he right, wrong, I don't I don't care
-
if he's right or wrong. We need to pray
-
for him,
-
>> our vice president. We need to pray for
-
the Supreme Court. How'd you like their
-
job? No, thank you. How about Congress?
-
How about And this goes this this
-
follows the trail. We need to be praying
-
for our governors. We need to pray for
-
our mayors.
-
>> We need to pray for city councils.
-
Anybody that's making decisions that
-
affect the church
-
in one way or another, we can pray for
-
them. When he says he he didn't tell us
-
to go chasing demons and try to get
-
frogs and and whales out of our country.
-
What he's saying is if we will pray,
-
that's how it all starts. If we will
-
pray for kings and those that are in
-
authority, we can lead a quiet and
-
peaceable life in all godliness and
-
honesty. And there's just a stirring a
-
stirring that's going on right now. And
-
we I mean sure we can jump over the
-
pond. We could pray for Israel. We
-
that's you know pray for the peace of
-
Jerusalem. We could pray for Iran. Okay,
-
that you know President Trump has said
-
you know you mess you mess with the
-
protesters. I am going to take care of
-
you. And they are all scared because
-
they know he's just wild enough he'll do
-
it. He'll put boots on the ground and
-
they'll just take care of a lot of
-
people. And uh so there's all this going
-
on. But I think if we just start with
-
our own country, if we just start with
-
with President Trump, Vice President
-
Vance, we pray for the Supreme Court for
-
for Congress, if we'll do our job and
-
pray for them, I believe we can pray for
-
them that we have a a quiet and
-
peaceable life in all godliness and
-
honesty. And if it comes on us like
-
that, it's going to start spreading out
-
to how we influence other nations. Like
-
somebody said, when America sneezes, the
-
world catches a cold. If we'll just do
-
our job, what we have here will spread
-
its way over to the Middle East. It'll
-
go over to to southern Europe. It'll go
-
over into Sudan. It'll go into Africa.
-
If we do our job, then our leadership
-
will do things that will cause it to be
-
peaceful in our own nation. And so, uh,
-
we've gone long enough, went longer than
-
I I planned on, but let's let's just
-
take a some time and let's pray for our
-
leaders. Let's do what we know to pray
-
for our leaders. We have the authority.
-
There's ain't nobody on planet earth
-
that has any more authority than the
-
church.
-
>> Amen.
-
>> I I'm going to say that again.
-
>> There's nobody on earth that has any
-
more authority than the church.
-
>> Second Thessalonians says we are
-
restraining force.
-
>> I don't even I don't even have to just
-
get ugly about it. If I just walk on
-
planet Earth, I am a restraining force.
-
The Antichrist can't even step into
-
power as long as you and I are alive.
-
>> And there's nothing he can do about it.
-
just by the fact we're alive and well.
-
We're doing good here. We're doing our
-
job. And the Antichrist says he can't
-
even get into his place until we check
-
out of here through the rapture. That's
-
how much dominion we have. That's
-
without doing it. Think if we do
-
something.
-
>> Think if we pray. Think if we jump into
-
our spot. I got to quit talking. Let's
-
pray. If you want to stand, if you want
-
to kneel, uh if you want to walk, you
-
find there's not a good and bad posture.
-
Just find where you're comfortable and
-
where you can give utterance to what's
-
on the inside. You've got the authority
-
on the inside of you to stop this stuff
-
that would try to mess with humans and
-
get our nation off course. It's not
-
going to happen. Not going to happen.
-
Not on our watch.
-
>> Thank you, dear Father. We thank you so
-
much for the privilege to be able to
-
pray. We don't take that lightly. We
-
don't take it lightly, dear Father. We
-
thank you that we are a, as Paul said, a
-
restraining force on planet Earth.
-
There's nothing anybody can do if we if
-
we put a stop to it.
-
And I believe, dear Father, now I don't
-
know. I can't really say for sure, but
-
it just seems to me it seems to me we're
-
bumping up against another one of those
-
things where where we're getting there's
-
we're getting a lot done on a worldwide
-
scale, but it just seems to me that
-
there's some things we need to get done
-
concerning putting a stop to this so
-
that we don't have to put up with this
-
mess. the the the deal we got with
-
Somalia, the deal we've got with uh uh
-
uh Putin and and Zillinsky and the deal
-
we've got with uh um with uh uh Israel
-
and the nations around Israel and so
-
many places, dear Father. There's so
-
much on the world scale and here we are
-
the one force on the planet that has the
-
power to be able to jump in, lock arms
-
with you and put a stop to a lot of
-
this. How much can we stop it all? I
-
don't know. But we'll stop all we can.
-
Stop it, minimize it, neutralize it, do
-
away with it. And so we thank you,
-
Father, now Holy Ghost, we look to you
-
to give us utterance.
-
and
-
you and you.
-
So we lift our voices. We lift our
-
voices. We lift our voices. We lift our
-
faith. We lift our voices. We lift our
-
authority. We lift our dominion in the
-
manga in the name. We got a name. We got
-
a name. We got a name. We got a name. We
-
got a name. Nobody else has that name.
-
It's just the church. We've got a name
-
that at the name of Jesus, every knee
-
shall bow. Every tongue should confess
-
that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory
-
of God the Father.
-
I understand that, Father. I there's
-
that that that verse just keeps rolling
-
inside. For we wrestle not against flesh
-
and blood, but against principalities
-
and powers and rulers of the darkness of
-
this world and wicked spirits in
-
heavenly places. I thank you, dear Lord.
-
It doesn't matter what we wrestle
-
against. We have dominion. We have
-
authority.
-
And if we'll step into our place, there
-
will be a mighty move of the spirit of
-
God.
-
Nations, nations, nations, nations in
-
the nations.
-
Into the east, into the east. Oh, the
-
east, the east, the east, the east, the
-
east. Oh.
-
Oh my
-
into the Monday.
-
Oh,
-
if we just realized, if we just knew, if
-
we just realized
-
oh,
-
we
-
pray, dear father. Oh, all those
-
wonderful people over in the nation of
-
uh Iran. All those na all those people,
-
all those persons, all those people,
-
there's a move of the spirit, move of
-
the Holy Ghost sweeping through the
-
nation of Iran. In a moment, they just
-
need some backing. Needs some backing.
-
Well, maybe the nation will help. Maybe
-
our president will help. Maybe our
-
military will help. But one thing for
-
sure is the church can help. Engels,
-
angels, angels, angels, angels. No evil
-
shall befall them. No plague shall come
-
nigh their dwelling. For you'll give
-
your angels charge over them to keep
-
them in all they their their ways.
-
You'll bear them up in their hands lest
-
they dash their foot against a stone.
-
Thousand may fall at their side. 10,000
-
at their right hand, but it'll not come
-
near them. Only with their eyes will
-
they see and behold the reward of the
-
wicked.
-
Whatever the Ayatollah wants to do,
-
he's running up against the church.
-
running up against the church

-
blessed as we are.
-
But to take hold of who we are, what we
-
are, what we have. And point that at the
-
nations of the world. And we pray,
-
Father, we pray for our president. We
-
pray right now, we just take our arms of
-
faith and prayer and we wrap it around
-
President Trump, Vice President Vance.
-
We wrap our arms of faith and prayer
-
around the Supreme Court, around
-
Congress, any
-
all those people, all those people, all
-
those people that have the ears that

have the ears that have the ears of our

authority, scal always be the same.
-
Oh, father know I know I know I know
-
father that just really keeps rising

-
spirit. Move of the spirit. There's a
-
move of the spirit. There's a move of
-
the spirit. Oh, we listen closely. We
-
can almost hear it. Yes. As the as the

prophet of old said, there's a sound of

-
Spirits that have uh leapfrogged across
-
the nation. They've leaprogged across
-
the nation. They've leaprost leapfrogged
-
across the nation to try to produce some
-
manifestation. But we put a stop to it.
-
We put a halt today. No, we can do that
-
because we know how to pray.
-
Oh. Oh, yeah. No, you you got I get What

-
Hallelujah.
-
>> Hallelujah. Glory to God. Praise [music]
-
God.
-
>> Praise God.
-
Glory to God.
-
>> Well, I I believe we're finished for
-
tonight.
-
>> Well, you can always pray more.
-
>> Well, always more praying we could do,
-
but I believe there's something that's
-
got stirred on the inside of us. And
-
we'll just we'll just bring our supply
-
in the days to come. Going to make it.
-
We're going to continue to make a
-
difference. No doubt about it. No doubt.
-
We are the church.
-
[music]
-
>> We are the church.
-
>> We are the church. It's we are the body
-
of Christ. We got a name.
-
>> We got a kingdom. We have the authority.
-
We have the dominion.
-
>> Hallelujah. We got the Holy Ghost.
-
>> Praise God. So let's give him thanks.
-
>> Father, you said in everything,
-
in everything,
-
in everything by prayer and supplication
-
with thanksgiving, that your requests
-
may be made known unto God. And the Oh,
-
yeah. I know. I know that. I know that,
-
Lord. I'm thankful for that. I'm
-
thankful for that. I'm thankful [music]
-
for that. I'm thankful for that. I'm
-
thankful for that. Yeah.
-
>> Yes. You got you, Lord, you got I don't
-
I don't know even know what that all
-
means, but there's just something about
-
the mighty ones. The mighty ones. The
-
mighty ones. Who's that? I don't know. I
-
believe it's people in the kingdom that
-
know how to use the name. The mighty
-
ones. Hallelujah.
-
>> Hallelujah.
-
>> Hallelujah. We used to have the
-
opportunity back when Phil and Fern
-
Halverson when they were still actually
-
primarily when they were still here in
-
Broken Arrow and uh we had the
-
opportunity
-
few different times.
-
You know, I
-
I'm I'm not one to kind of push my way
-
through to too many things, but we had
-
uh crossed paths with when brother
-
Halverson, when brother Hagen called him
-
up to that meeting, and I think it was
-
at camp meeting that year, and brother
-
Halverson was there. I I couldn't tell
-
you where exactly we were, but he was
-
around the front after service and I
-
thought, why not? So, my lovely wife and
-
I walked over there, said, "Don't mean
-
to interrupt you. Don't mean to offend
-
you. Don't please forgive us if we
-
shouldn't be doing this, but do you ever
-
We're hungry. You know, when you're
-
hungry, you'll get out of yourself.
-
>> Said, "Do you ever do you ever you I
-
know you you live here in I think Broken
-
Air, if I recall. Do you ever um
-
uh do you ever have meetings where you
-
you pray and you let some folks join you
-
to pray?"
-
And I thought, you know, he he he could
-
easily say, "You need to go away. you
-
know, you you you are way out of your
-
you're way out of your your your your
-
lane. And uh he said, "We're wondering
-
when you're going to ask,
-
okay."
-
And they said, you know, and they said,
-
"Come to our place such and such." I
-
think it was in the next week. Come to
-
our place. Come, you know, a certain
-
certain afternoon and said, "Come over.
-
We'll pray." Thought boy. Yeah. So we
-
went over there and we you know we had a
-
you know a cup of tea coffee I don't
-
know what it was something and talked to
-
him for a little while just the nicest
-
nicest kindest people and then but you
-
know all of a sudden he says okay let's
-
pray and we went out into the living
-
room and just sat down cross-legged on
-
the floor and he began to pray and you
-
know we're of course we're praying but
-
we're praying and listening. I thought I
-
want to know how this all works. I'm
-
hungry for this. So we're just sitting
-
in the middle of their living room and
-
he's praying, you know, Fern, she's
-
praying, he's praying and all of a
-
sudden, man, he's praying about he's
-
praying about he's praying in tongues
-
and all a sudden he go, "Neie, niece,
-
niece." And then he's back in tongues
-
again. A little while later, "Nie,
-
niece." Well, we finally finished finish
-
praying. He looked, he goes, "Uh, you
-
got a niece that's having trouble
-
somewhere?" And of course, his wife was
-
just so funny. She said, "Oh, Phil." She
-
said, "This couple, they're getting
-
ready to go to Nice, France next week.
-
you're praying about their trip. Oh,
-
okay. [laughter]
-
I was real thankful for her. I wasn't
-
going to try to correct it, but anyway,
-
but boy, we had some times like that. We
-
we've had the we've had the privilege to
-
get around some folks like that. All I
-
know is it's so tangible. You can pick
-
it up and take it home with you.
-
>> I believe we're all
-
>> taking some things home with us.
-
>> I believe we're all taking some things
-
home with us. Somebody goes, "What? Why
-
do you believe that?" cuz I'm planning
-
to.
-
>> I don't go to meetings to just go do
-
something. I plan to get something. I I
-
want to go home a different way than I
-
came in.
-
>> And I believe we're all doing the same
-
thing. I believe we're getting
-
something. And if we'll do something
-
with that, you don't have to. You don't
-
have to say, "Well, I just don't have
-
six or eight hours to pray." Have you
-
got six or eight minutes?
-
>> Give the supply you've got
-
>> and what you what you give, God will
-
multiply that for you. So So anyway,
-
hallelujah. Sam, you got anything?
-
>> Sure. Go right ahead. I think Janice's
-
got a mic there.
-
>> Hey, this won't take me just a second. I
-
got to chew my peppermint first.
-
But um you know I was talking to Greg
-
Fritz and I were talking um
-
a little bit a little bit about this and
-
um and uh you know the Apostle Paul
-
u [clears throat] basically taught us
-
how to pray.
-
>> You you go through you go through his
-
his writing. He taught us how to pray.
-
He he gave us instructions. I mean, from
-
from going talking to the church at
-
Corenth about being carnal to talking
-
about him praying in the spirit and and
-
praying in other tongues. And so, he he
-
taught us all these great uh great
-
things, but there was something that
-
just kept sticking out at me. and um uh
-
in in second Corinthians and and it's in
-
several places but um but but he
-
[clears throat] was talking um you know
-
about God working in God working in his
-
life and in in in verse 10 of 2
-
Corinthians 1 he said who delivered us
-
from so great a death and does deliver
-
us and whom we trust that he will still
-
deliver us now now he's talking about
-
himself where he is and where he's one.
-
Okay, now listen. This is important. But
-
now listen to this phrase. You also
-
helping together in prayer for us.
-
>> Yes.
-
>> Helping together in prayer for us. Now,
-
you know, I I and I I don't I didn't ask
-
permission to do this, but I'm going to
-
do it. I I just do it anyway, you know.
-
But
-
>> Mark and Mark and Janet, but to Mark has
-
spent this whole time
-
teaching us about something very
-
important that we've got to get a hold
-
of.
-
>> But you know what?
-
Anytime somebody steps out to do
-
something like that, they're going to be
-
challenged.
-
It's not it's not a lightweight thing.
-
It's not something you Oh, well, you
-
know, that's that's Mark. He pre prays
-
all the time. He He's all right. Well,
-
Paul wasn't all right.
-
Paul wasn't all right. He said, "I I
-
need your help. I need your help to pray
-
pray with me because I have been
-
delivered. He and I like the way he said
-
it. You know, I had a deliverance, you
-
know, and he did deliver me and he's
-
still going to deliver me." But now
-
listen to what he said with you helping
-
together.
-
And it's important that we understand
-
that that that we don't just uh take
-
this and we go off with it, you know,
-
and we're we certainly going to pray
-
about other things, but we need to hook
-
up with Mark Mark and Jen because this
-
is a word from the Lord.
-
>> And it's something we need to pray with
-
them and pray for them and and and
-
believe God with them about this because
-
I just want to tell you, listen, I I I'm
-
not bragging. This is not a bragging
-
point at all, but I I go all over the
-
place and I don't ever I don't hear
-
anybody talking like this
-
>> and it needs to be said.
-
>> We've got to grab hold of some things.
-
>> So, here's what I want you to do. Okay,
-
we're going we're going to be just
-
missed a minute. Stand up with me.
-
Stretch out your Janet. Come up here.
-
Just stand up here. Now, we're not going
-
to have a prayer circle or, you know,
-
get them in a chair or anything like
-
that, but I I just want you to pray over
-
this couple right now. stretch out your
-
hands and just pray over them right now.
-
Father, we just thank you for Mark and
-
Janet. We thank you for the commitment
-
that they've made, Father, to you and to
-
your work. And Lord, to your favor for
-
them in Europe as they go and set up
-
these fire bases and Father, all that
-
you've called them to do. Lord, I thank
-
you that you bring your strength into
-
their lives, your wisdom into their
-
lives, your divine protection into their
-
lives. No weapon formed against them
-
will prosper. No evil shall befall them.
-
Lord, I thank you right now that any
-
design upon them, upon their lives, upon
-
their ministry, Father, it's brought to
-
not in the name of Jesus that they'll
-
fulfill the days of their life in
-
ministry and and walk in all the
-
fullness, all the fullness that you have
-
for them. And I thank you for your great
-
grace in this season. Your great grace
-
on them in this season to communicate
-
the spiritual things that we need to
-
walk in and to live in and abide in. And
-
we thank you for it. Lord, we just speak
-
your blessings over them in Jesus name.
-
Amen. Amen.
-
Amen. Praise God. Amen.
-
>> [applause]
-
>> Hallelu Hal Hallelujah.
-
>> Thank you, Pastor. That's Pastor Sam
-
Carr from Shreport. I'm sure all of you
-
know him by now. Hallelujah. Vital part
-
of this this house. Hallelujah. Thank
-
you, Pastor Sam. Appreciate it. We take
-
that. I gladly take that. [laughter]
-
Hallelujah. How about you? Glory to God.
-
Well, anything else, babe? we got to do.
-
Again, thank you everybody. Thank you
-
for coming. Thank you for
-
investing the time, the finances, the
-
effort coming in here. I I know what it
-
takes. Been to a lot of meetings in a
-
lot of years now, but thank you for
-
doing that. And uh we appreciate you.
-
And again, you know, for our core, our
-
our staff, um everybody that works
-
everything around here. Uh it it just
-
takes a bunch of people to get this done
-
and we're just grateful for that group.
-
So, thank you so much and uh we'll see
-
you at the next meeting, wherever that
-
one's going to be. All right, have a
-
wonderful evening and a good trip back
-
home, wherever that is.
