Things that need to be prayed. We will
-
pray. We will pray. So we thank you for
-
this day. We give you glory. We give you
-
honor. And everyone shouts hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah.
-
[music] Glory. Glory to God. Welcome to
-
Prayer Con 26. We're so glad you're
-
here. Why don't you do me a favor? Turn
-
around both directions and shake hands
-
with the people in front of you and the
-
people in back of you. If you don't know
-
their name, ask them their name. They
-
might be a first time guest. So go ahead
-
and
-
Hallelujah. Well, I want to personally
-
welcome you. We're so glad to have you
-
joining in the house. And for those of
-
you online, we welcome you as well. We
-
want to encourage you to enter in to
-
every aspect when we praise and when we
-
worship. Join us. wherever you're
-
watching from and when we pray, join in
-
with us. Don't be a spectator, be a
-
participator right where you are. But
-
again, we're glad that you're there and
-
we're glad that you're here. So, we do
-
welcome you. We kicked off this morning
-
and what a kickoff. Amen. God showed up.
-
God showed out. And you know, those
-
seven people that came forward,
-
was that not amazing?
-
Absolutely wonderful. Wonderful. and
-
they all received exactly what they had
-
need of. And so, um, I just believe that
-
God is moving across the earth. He's
-
moving. He's moving across the earth
-
because I believe that we're living in a
-
day where Jesus is coming soon. And
-
there's a call going out. There's a call
-
going out to draw near. Draw near like
-
never before. And so, that's what we're
-
here for this week. We're here to pray.
-
Prayer conference 2026.
-
And so, we're going to be praying. Um,
-
pastor said this morning he felt like we
-
would be praying regarding some
-
assignments. So, we'll just walk that
-
out and we'll follow the Holy Ghost
-
leading. How many of you say that's
-
okay?
-
>> That's okay. So, we pray on our end. We
-
prepare and then we come and we follow
-
and just flow where we he wants to flow.
-
That's where we'll get the most
-
accomplished by following his lead.
-
Amen. You know, we've got a lot of good
-
ideas, but we don't want our ideas. We
-
want his ideas. And so, um, so yeah. So,
-
we're just again glad that you are here.
-
We'll be here um tomorrow morning at
-
10:30 over in the youth building. There
-
will be no child care during those
-
meetings and they those morning services
-
will not be streaming, but we'll be
-
there Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
-
morning at 10:30. We'll be back in here
-
at 700 p.m. every night. And in the
-
evenings, we'll be streaming live. If
-
you are watching, drop a line. Let us
-
know where you're watching from. I know
-
that people are watching all over and um
-
even overseas they'll be watching later
-
or or watching now. Let us know where
-
you're watching from. Uh but we'll be
-
having kids ministry as well uh every
-
evening. And so teaching your kids how
-
to pray. You know, I wish uh I'd have
-
known some of the things that I know
-
now, but I'm very thankful for what I
-
did know. Born again at four, filled
-
with the Holy Ghost at eight, and raised
-
uh in a godly home. My mom and dad were
-
pastors. And so, uh, I'm very thankful
-
for my heritage, but not everyone has
-
that. And I know a lot more now. Let's
-
just say I know a lot more now than I
-
did then. And so, I'm thankful for
-
progress. Amen. And, uh, God's just
-
looking for a people who will be
-
faithful to pray. Faithful to pray, to
-
answer the call to pray. So, that's why
-
we're here this week. Um, so about maybe
-
it was last Sunday or the Sunday before,
-
I I uh put a challenge out to our church
-
family and I challenged everyone to read
-
your Bible through this year
-
and I just said I had run across um
-
something that uh
-
re yes Freda Lindsay uh used to tell
-
their students and used to do and it's
-
called the three five plan. How many of
-
you are familiar with that? The 35 plan.
-
You read three chapters every day,
-
Monday through Saturday. And on Friday
-
or Saturday, Sunday, sorry, on Sunday,
-
you read five chapters. So, I got up
-
really early this morning and got my
-
five chapters in. But I've been reading
-
three chapters every day. And if you'll
-
do that, by the end of December, we will
-
have read the entire Bible through.
-
Isn't that amazing? How do you eat an
-
elephant? One bite at a time. And so I
-
would encourage you um if you haven't
-
started a reading plan yet this year,
-
it's not too late. We're only 11 days
-
into the new year. I would encourage you
-
make a determination and a decision. I'm
-
going to read the entire Bible through.
-
I started in Matthew.
-
I just, you know, it's just easier
-
reading. And I just thought I want to
-
start in the New Testament, read the New
-
Testament, and then go back and read the
-
Old Testament. So I started in Matthew.
-
I finished Matthew. uh started in Mark
-
actually yesterday. But it was so
-
interesting. I loved reading in Matthew
-
about all the miracles,
-
the miracles of Jesus, what he did, how
-
he did it, why he did it. You can just
-
read and miracle after miracle. And
-
there's one miracle that I ran across
-
and I found out that this miracle is in
-
every four gospels. It's in Matthew,
-
it's in Mark, it's in Luke, and it's in
-
John. And it is the only miracle that is
-
in every four gospels. Guess what it is?
-
The feeding of the 5000.
-
Isn't that interesting? I never knew
-
that. It's in every four gospels. only
-
only miracle that's in every for every
-
gospel, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
-
So, I read it in Matthew and um and I've
-
always loved the story, but it just rose
-
up in me to encourage you with the fact
-
that
-
Jesus operates on a whole different
-
level than we do when it comes to math.
-
He likes to operate in the
-
multiplication tables.
-
Multiplication gets you where you're
-
going a lot faster than just addition.
-
And he doesn't subtract or divide,
-
but he multiplies. And so, um, so I was
-
reading that, reading the Gospels,
-
reading the story of the 5000 and how,
-
um, Jesus went to a a place to pray and
-
this huge crowd of 5,000 followed him.
-
We all know the story. But that's 5,000
-
men. For some reason, women and kids
-
didn't amount to anything.
-
But if we were to add the women and the
-
kids, it was probably anywhere between
-
10 and 15,000.
-
That's a lot of people. And so, I'm
-
going to include them because they were
-
important. So, he goes out and they've
-
been with them all day and it gets
-
begins to get dark and and uh the
-
disciples says, "We need to send them
-
into town to get food." Jesus says, "No,
-
let's feed them." And they're like,
-
"Well, we don't have any food." And
-
neither do they. And this little boy
-
steps up with probably what was his
-
supper, maybe his lunch, too. And it was
-
five loaves and two fish. And I'm sure
-
that those two fish were mullet.
-
How many of y'all have ever had mullet?
-
Oh, y'all missed half your life, man.
-
That's that's that's good. G Coast fish,
-
mullet. And so anyway, he had five
-
loaves and two fish. And the story goes
-
on to say that Jesus took the five
-
loaves of bread. And I was meditating on
-
it. You need to when you read the
-
gospels, read the miracles,
-
meditate on it. And I was thinking about
-
that. Five loaves and two fish.
-
Yeah. That's all he had. They came and
-
they brought it to Jesus. And I don't
-
care how big someone might project that
-
that those loaves of bread were. You
-
cannot get loaves of bread big enough to
-
feed 5,000 people. Come on, let's get
-
real about it. Can you imagine? You'd
-
have to have a semis semise plural carry
-
on those loaves of bread. No, they were
-
a normal size of bread. Five loaves and
-
two fish. And it says they brought them
-
to Jesus and he took them. And the first
-
thing he did, it says he blessed them
-
and gave thanks
-
and I just paused and I thought about
-
that.
-
How many times do we sit down in a
-
restaurant
-
and we're embarrassed to bow our head
-
and pray over our food and bless our
-
food and thank him for it? Jesus blessed
-
and thank God for those loaves of bread
-
and two fish. There are people in the
-
world, many people in the world that
-
have no food. We need to be thankful for
-
food. You need to be bold. Please don't
-
stand up in a restaurant and shout at
-
the top of your lungs. But don't be
-
embarrassed.
-
Thank God for the food and bless it.
-
Bless it. Our food needs blessing. So
-
that just stuck with me. I thought,
-
"Wow." Jesus even took time to thank the
-
father for the food, the bread, and he
-
blessed it. And then it said that he
-
began to break it up and give pieces of
-
it, parts of it to his disciples to
-
start feeding the 5000. And he began to
-
break more, give more, give more, give
-
more. They kept until every person
-
had bread and fish to eat. And when they
-
took up the leftovers,
-
they had 12 baskets of food left over.
-
More than they even started out with. To
-
me, that is a miracle of multiplication.
-
Major miracle. Major miracle. And guess
-
who I think got to take the 12 baskets
-
of food home?
-
The little boy, he probably took it home
-
to his parents, his grandparents, his
-
aunts, his uncles, and all the
-
neighbors. They're like, "Where did you
-
get this?" The master,
-
the master, he blessed it and multiplied
-
it, and this was what was left. And so,
-
I've heard that story all my life. God
-
is a God of multiplication.
-
Maybe you're in a situation where you
-
need something multiplied. you need
-
something multiplied. He's the God of
-
multiplication.
-
But you know, when we always just kind
-
of stop with the miracle of the 5000.
-
And as I'm reading through Matthew a few
-
chapters later, it starts talking about
-
the feeding of the 4,000.
-
You never hear about the feeding of the
-
4,000, but Jesus performed the same
-
miracle again. And this miracle is
-
actually in Matthew and Mark. Not all
-
four, but Matthew and Mark. He did the
-
same thing. He prayed over it. He
-
blessed it. He gave thanks. And then he
-
fed the multitude. Again, 4,000 men. My
-
guess is maybe 8 to 10,000 women and
-
children with the men. That's a bunch of
-
people. And this time, I think he had
-
seven loaves of bread. And it says a few
-
little fish, probably sardines.
-
But again, he blessed it and they began
-
handing it out. And this time they had
-
seven baskets full of leftovers. How do
-
you take How do you take five loaves of
-
bread, two mullet, or seven loaves of
-
bread and a bunch of sardines and feed
-
10,000 people? It's impossible.
-
But with God, all things are possible.
-
If you're looking at your bills and
-
you're sitting there going, "This is
-
impossible. This is impossible." Well,
-
God is the God of multiplication. I
-
can't explain the how, but all I know is
-
it's what he does. And if he did it in
-
those situations, he'll do it for us.
-
He'll do it for us. Take what you have.
-
Bless it. Give thanks. So, in fact,
-
there's a verse because I was like, this
-
word multiply kept going over and in me.
-
Multiplication. Multiplication. 2
-
Corinthians 9:10 in the New King James
-
says, "Now may he who supplies seed to
-
the swer and bread for food supply and
-
multiply the seed you have sown and
-
increase the fruits of your
-
righteousness." If you sit there and do
-
nothing, nothing's going to happen. But
-
it get some seed planted, seed sown. God
-
has a way of supernaturally
-
multiplying that seed to meet your need.
-
I'm convinced all things are possible to
-
him that what? Believes. So, Father, we
-
thank you right now for your word. We
-
thank you for the miracles. But the
-
miracles didn't stop. Huh? The miracles
-
still happen today. And that's the best
-
news of all. You are a God of miracles.
-
You are a God. You've never changed.
-
You'll never change. You're a God of
-
multiplication. So, Father, I thank you
-
as we give tonight. As we sew tonight,
-
we sew into the kingdom of God. The
-
kingdom of God. And that is good ground.
-
So, as we sew it, I thank you that you
-
multiply the seed sown back to us. We
-
give you thanks in the mighty name of
-
Jesus. Amen. The ways to give are up on
-
the screen. Um, for those of you who are
-
family, part of the church family, you
-
know, thank you for your giving and be
-
blessed.
-
I could see your name.
-
for [singing and music] all my life and
-
still find more [singing]
-
love.

-
[music] God,
-
your name, your name, [music] your name.
-
Oh yeah. Thank you for your name. Thank
-
you for your name. [music]
-
My hero, my provider,
-
my strong
-
name. Your name.
-
[music]
-
Come on. Thank you for the name. There's
-
power in the name. [music] There's
-
healing today.
-
Salvation in the name.
-
Call the name. [music]
-
Call the name. Call the name.
-
[music]
-
Shout Jesus. Shout Jesus from the
-
mountains. [music]
-
Jesus in the street. Jesus in Jesus
-
[music]
-
in [singing] the dark soul for every
-
enemy. Jesus for my [music]
-
[singing]
-
holy name.
-
Jesus. [music]
-
Shout Jesus from the mountains. Shout
-
Jesus [music]
-
from the [singing] mountains.
-
Jesus in the streets.
-
Jesus [music and singing] in the
-
darkness over every enemy.
-
[music] Jesus [singing] for my family.
-
I speak the holy name.
-
Jesus. [music]
-
You just got to shout his name. Shout
-
Jesus up. Shout [music and singing]
-
Jesus on the mountain.
-
>> Jesus in the street.
-
>> Jesus in the street. Oh
-
>> Jesus, [music and singing] in the
-
darkness we shout your name. We shout
-
your nameus. [music]
-
[singing]
-
>> I speak the name.
-
>> I speak the holy name.
-
Jesus. [music]
-
Come on. When there's no other words to
-
say, sometimes you just got to say one
-
name. The name above every other name.
-
There's a lot of names you can call when
-
you need help. When you're in pain, you
-
can call the doctor. When [music] you're
-
in legal trouble, you can call a lawyer.
-
But sometimes, no other name can save
-
like the name of Jesus. No other name
-
can pick you out of darkness and bring
-
[music] you all the way over into the
-
light like the name of Jesus. Sometimes
-
there's only one name that'll bring you
-
out. Sometimes there's only one name
-
that'll save one name that'll fix your
-
situation. And we've got to learn
-
[music] how to call his men first. Come
-
on. Is there anybody who can just say,
-
"I shout the name of Jesus [music] in
-
this place." Cuz he's worthy. Cuz he's
-
worthy. Cuz he's faithful.
-
Come on, shout [music] his name. Shout
-
his name. Call him. Call him. Call him
-
Jesus. [music]
-
Jesus be the name.
-
>> [music]
-
>> Jesus be.
-
[music]
-
Come on one more time. So shout [music]
-
Jesus. Shout Jesus from the mountain.
-
Jesus in [music] the street.
-
>> Jesus in the darkness.
-
>> Jesus in [singing] the darkness over
-
every enemy. [music]
-
Jesus for nothing. Jesus for [singing]
-
my family. I speak [music] the holy
-
name.
-
Jesus.
-
[music] Here we go. So shout Jesus.
-
Shout Jesus from the mountain.
-
Jesus in the streets.
-
>> Jesus in the darkness [music] over every
-
>> Come on, say his name. Say it. Jesus for
-
my family. [music]
-
I speak the holy name
-
Jesus.
-
Come on, shout his name. Shout [music]
-
his name. Jesus.
-
[music]
-
>> [music]
-
>> Come on, let's just lift our hands and
-
worship to him right now across the
-
room. Just sing your own voice. Sing
-
your own song. Jesus, we adore you.
-
Jesus, [music] we extol you.
-
Power in your name.
-
Healing in your name.
-
Oh,
-
only one name that can [music] save.
-
Only one name that can save.
-
Jesus. [music]
-
Jesus. Jesus. Jesus.
-
[music]
-
to all
-
[music]
-
>> cuz your name is powerless
-
>> and your name is healing.
-
>> Your name is life.
-
Oh yes it is.
-
You'll break every stronghold.
-
[music and singing]
-
>> Shine through the shadows.
-
Burn like a fire.
-
Keep it down. Your name. And your name
-
is power. [singing and music]
-
Your name is healing.
-
Your name [singing]
-
is life.
-
>> Come on. Break every
-
>> You break [music and singing] every
-
stronghold.
-
Shine through the shadows.
-
We're like [singing]
-
a fire.
-
>> Your name, your [singing] name is power.
-
>> Your name,
-
>> your [music] name is
-
>> Your name is life. Your [singing] name
-
is life.
-
>> Break [music and singing] every
-
stronghold.
-
Shine through the shadows.
-
Burn like [singing]
-
a fire.
-
Come on, let's just worship that again.
-
Oh, [music]
-
>> your name is life.
-
>> So much life in your name. So much power
-
in your name.
-
[music and singing]
-
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We lift you high. We
-
lift you high.
-
We exalt your name.
-
[music] We come to worship you. We come
-
to worship you. We come to worship you.
-
[music]
-
Let's do one more song. We [music] cry
-
holy, holy,
-
holy.
-
And we cry holy, holy, [singing]
-
holy.
-
>> Come on, help me out. We cry. [music]
-
>> We cry. Holy, [singing]
-
holy,
-
holy is the lamb is the lamb. [singing]
-
[music]
-
>> Oh, together we cry.
-
We cry holy, [singing]
-
holy. Your name is holy and we
-
[music and singing] cry holy, holy,
-

>> Your name is holy.
-
>> We cry holy, [singing]
-
holy, [music]
-

-
And we cry [music and singing] holy,
-
holy,
-
holy.
-
And we cry [music and singing]
-
holy, holy,
-
holy
-
is [music] the name. [singing]
-
Come on, one more time. All together. We
-
cry. We cry. [singing and music]
-
Holy, holy,
-

-
we cry holy, [singing]
-

-
The lamb who sits on [music] the throne.
-

-
We cry holy, holy,
-

-
We cry holy, [singing]
-
holy,
-

-
[music and singing]
-
Be exalted, precious.
-
Receive our worship tonight.
-
The lamb [singing and music] of God.
-
Holy is the lamb.
-
The precious lamb.
-
The spotless lamb.
-
The lamb [music and singing] that was
-
slain for you and me.
-
Receive our worship tonight. The lamb
-
that was slain for you and me.

What an honor it is to worship you.
-
What an honor [singing] it is to worship
-
you.

-
you.

-
Glory to God.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Thank God for the lamb of God. Took away
-
the sins of the world. Aren't we
-
thrilled? Aren't we glad? All of
-
eternity we're going to be able to
-
praise him and thank him. Paid the
-
price. Laid down his mighty power and
-
glory. Stripped himself of his rightful
-
dignity. Came down here, became one of
-
us so he could redeem all of us.
-
Hallelujah. Glory to God. You know u
-
excuse me in [clears throat]
-
the book of Jude verse 20.
-
But building up yourselves
-
most holy faith praying in the Holy
-
Ghost. You don't build your faith, you
-
build up yourself.
-
>> So why don't we just, this is a prayer
-
con.
-
>> Why don't we just step over now and take
-
just a few minutes if you're filled with
-
the Holy Ghost, praying in other,
-
if you're filled with the Holy Ghost,
-
praying in other tongues, jump in. If
-
you're not, pray in English. But let's
-
just take but beloved, building up
-
yourselves on your most holy faith,
-
praying in the Holy Ghost. Let's take
-
just a few minutes and build ourselves.
-
Build up our inward man. Thank God we
-
are a spirit. We have a soul. We live in
-
a body. If you can build up that inward
-
man, building up yourselves on your most
-
holy faith. Praying in the Holy Ghost.
-
Father, we thank you now. Thank you for
-
the greater one who indwells us. our
-
teacher, our leader, and our guide. We
-
[clears throat] look to the one that
-
lives on the inside.
-
And now we trust him to give us
-
utterance. Building up ourselves on our
-
most holy faith, praying in the Holy
-
Ghost, keeping ourselves in the love of
-
God.
-
greatest
-
glorious
-
escala.
-
Building up an army of stol building up
-
an army of gulad skongal
-
who have been building up ourselves on
-
our most holy faith.
-
and
-
we thank you for it, dear Father. We
-
thank you. Thank you for what you've
-
done for us, what you've done in us,
-
what you're yet to do through us. We
-
thank you for it, dear Father. [music]
-
Who you've made us to be, who we're in,
-
and who's in us. We're grateful for the
-
great plan of redemption. I know whose I
-
am. I know who I am. I know who I belong
-
to. I know who I live in. I know who's
-
living in me. Oh, with all that working
-
on the inside, my my what you've made us
-
to be. Thank you, dear Father, for the
-
days to come, the church will rise up
-
and ahead we're going to run. A great
-
power of prayer is going to flow through
-
your body. A great move of the spirit in
-
the days to come. Oh my my. We're going
-
to quit crawling. We're going to rise up
-
and run. Rise up in the things of the
-
spirit and fly into your presence and
-
into your glory. And the last day church
-
is going to have a brand new story.
-
[music] And we thank you for it, dear
-
Father. And we ask you, we ask you,
-
Lord, teach us what we need to know.
-
Teach us how we need to flow. Oh yeah.
-
Let us know the things that'll make us
-
become what you've called us to be. We
-
can rise up and walk in a great victory.
-
Things never known before in the body of
-
Christ. Things never known before in the
-
B in in the New Testament church. But I
-
thank you, Lord, as we get hold of that
-
ahead. We're going to surge. So we thank
-
you for it in Jesus name. And we thank
-
you, Father, for the service tonight.
-
Thank you, Father, what teach us what we
-
need to know. Teach us what we need to
-
know, what we don't know. Teach us what
-
we haven't seen. Show us [music] what we
-
haven't heard. Speak to us. Prepare us,
-
oh Lord, for that which you prepared for
-
us. And we thank you for it in Jesus
-
name. Hallelujah. Amen. Amen. Well,
-
let's give him thanks.
-
[music] Hallelujah. Glory to God. Glory
-
to God.
-
Thank you, Father. Thank you. Thank you.
-
Thank you. Thank you, Father. Glory
-
[music] to God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
-
Glory. Glory. Glory. Praise God. Praise
-
God. Thank you, Father. Hallelujah.
-
Well, I guess you can go ahead and be
-
seated.
-
A wonderful time of worship.
-
As we said this morning, it was once
-
said, "The uh higher we go in praise,
-
the deeper we'll go in worship." The
-
deeper we go in worship, the further
-
we'll go into the glory. Further we go
-
into the glory, the more we're going to
-
step into his plan for the church.
-
Hallelujah. Just starts with praise.
-
Praise is the highest kind of prayer.
-
Amen. This is prayer conference.
-
Glad all of you are here. Those of you
-
from locally here, part of WOC, those of
-
you that have come in from other
-
locations, I see some folks that have
-
traveled a little distance to get here.
-
Appreciate you coming. Appreciate you
-
being here. Those watching online, I
-
know sometimes there are folks in other
-
countries. It's a little difficult, but
-
there's some folks in here that have
-
come from other countries to come in.
-
And uh anyway, um we're going to have uh
-
this is this is just the first night.
-
>> Hallelujah. We've still got uh tomorrow
-
and Tuesday and Wednesday. And um um
-
let's see where we go with this. You
-
know, when you start on the subject of
-
prayer, I was talking to Janet about it
-
just a couple days ago, and I said, you
-
know, I remember when um when uh
-
President Trump was in his first term, I
-
believe, and uh I I don't recall exactly
-
how the progression went, but I I'm
-
thinking he's the one that made a
-
statement one time, you know, they were
-
talking about I think it was COVID was
-
in the works, and he said, "Well, just
-
something about just give me 15 days.
-
Give us 15 days. Anybody else remember
-
that?
-
>> Yeah. Well, I thought that's easy. He
-
wants 15 days. We'll get we'll give him
-
15 days. And so we went online, you
-
know, and got got everything set up on a
-
a phone at the house and we're going to
-
we're going to we're going to take 15
-
days. We're going to pray. And I
-
thought, well, we'll do that for 15.
-
Well, we going 15 days. And CO hadn't
-
left. So, I thought, well, we might as
-
well just jump in the middle, keep
-
going.
-
And I don't know when that was, but I
-
think that was almost five years ago.
-
And uh last up till the past couple
-
weeks it got a little busier but up till
-
last couple weeks we were having four
-
four days a week. Monday, Tuesday,
-
Wednesday, Thursday we had noon hour
-
prayer 12 noon four days a week for the
-
last uh we started out with 15 days and
-
ended up with fi almost five years and
-
uh you know and I thought there's that's
-
good. The thing is you know when you
-
start say okay we're going to we're
-
going to have prayer conference. Well,
-
that's great. Except, you know, when you
-
start getting over into the subject of
-
prayer and you've been doing it for the
-
last five years, there's a lot. And uh
-
you know, the more the further you go
-
getting ready, the more there is to get
-
ready for. So, where where we're going
-
to go, only the Holy Ghost knows. But
-
that's all right because as long as he
-
does, we're in good shape. So, uh uh um
-
let's open our Bibles
-
to uh Romans chapter 1. Going to go a
Romans 1 chapter mention
-
little different direction with this.
-
We've still got three days after this,
-
so we're we're in good shape, morning
-
and night. But uh Romans chapter 1,
Romans 1 chapter mention
-
this has been stirring off and on for a
-
couple days and uh we'll see where
-
exactly we go with it. But uh Paul's
-
writing here to the Romans and uh we
-
love the city of Rome. We love I'm I'm
-
glad he did the work he did there, you
-
know, for for Pastor Janet, myself.
-
We've we've spent a lot of time over in
-
Rome. We've got uh princes are here.
-
We've got a fire base in Rome and and uh
-
I think is there one in Sardinia? Is is
-
there one going? Got one in Sardinia.
-
See, we got to keep up with all this.
-
But anyway, got prayer bases that are
-
going in different places. And you know,
-
of course, Rome is one of them. So
-
that's uh you know, we're kind of
-
connected to this place. But Paul
-
writing to the Romans here, writing a
-
letter to him. He makes a statement
-
Romans chapter 1 verse 10. He says,
-
"Making a request, if by any means now
-
at length I might have a prosperous
-
journey." He's praying for a prosperous
-
journey. Nothing wrong with that. I've
-
had those that aren't quite so
-
prosperous. I'll take the prosperous
-
ones. Make a request if by any means now
-
at length I might have a prosperous
-
journey by the will of God to come to
-
you. In other words, I can write a
-
letter to you. I can write a really good
-
the book of Romans. It's a good letter.
-
He said, I can send a letter to you. He
-
says, but I I'm on a prosperous journey
-
by the will of God to come to you. Verse
-
11 says, for I long to see you. I can
-
write a letter. I can do a good letter.
-
It's a good letter. But he says, "But I
-
long to see you." Why? That I may impart
-
unto you some spiritual gift, some
-
supernatural spiritual endowment, some
-
dose of the Holy Ghost, some measure of
-
the third person of the Godhead. For I
-
long to see you that I may impart to you
-
some spiritual gift to the end. You
-
might Why does he want to do that? Does
-
he just want to have a good Holy Ghost
-
meeting? Well, that'd be worth it. But
-
he said, 'I I want I I I long to see you
-
that I may impart to you some spiritual
-
gift to the end you might be established
-
that you might be made to stand. You
-
might be made stable and sturdy and
-
stalwart. And he said, "I need I know if
-
I can get to you, I can send a letter to
-
you and you can get a great word, but if
-
I can get to you, you can get a great
-
presence. And there's something I know
-
that you're only going to get kind of
-
face to face. And I long to see you. I'm
-
praying for a prosperous journey by the
-
will of God that I might see you because
-
I long to impart to you some. Now, Paul
-
Paul wasn't going around, you know, with
-
a sack over his shoulder and a bunch of
-
gifts on the inside passing it out. But
-
I believe what he did was I believe he
-
went in um moving with the spirit of
-
God, flowing with the Holy Ghost, uh the
-
word, the spirit, and going to the
-
world. I believe that's what he did. And
-
he got to he wanted to get to Rome
-
because there's some things that he knew
-
if he could get to them, it would change
-
their lives. Well,
-
I I've been pondering this for a few
-
days now, and really I have been for a
-
number of weeks in different situations,
-
different meetings we've had. And uh
-
there's [clears throat] something in
-
that that um uh subject, making
-
deposits, impartations,
-
measures of the spirit of God,
-
something, you know. Yeah, I'm you know,
-
and I I I'm a word guy, okay? I I'm a
-
Bible guy. Have been for almost 50
-
years. and I will be for another 50.
-
Well, something like that. But anyway,
-
anyway, um yeah, I'm a Bible guy. I'm a
-
word. I love the word of God and I
-
always will, always have. I'm grateful
-
for the word of God. But if we think
-
that's going to take care of everything,
-
we we need to get another thought going
-
here because you Jesus was the word.
-
>> In the beginning was the word. The word
-
was with God. The word was God. The same
-
as in the beginning with God. So, he was
-
the word. We know that. But the word
-
didn't do any miracles until he came up
-
out of the water. Being baptized by John
-
the Baptist, came up out of the water
-
praying. The heavens opened. The spirit
-
of God descended in bodily form like a
-
dove. Came upon him. Remained upon him.
-
And after having no miracles, no signs,
-
no wonders, no healings, no
-
demonstrations for roughly 30 years.
-
Nothing. He didn't turn stones into
-
bicycles. He didn't work any miracles.
-
He didn't heal the sick, cleanse the
-
leper, raise the dead. Didn't do any of
-
that. But I'll tell you what, when the
-
Holy Ghost came on the word, the word
-
and the spirit came together and John
-
said, "I don't think if everything could
-
be written down, I don't think the world
-
would be able to contain all the
-
miracles he did.
-
>> None to uncountable ones." What was the
-
difference when the word and the spirit
-
came together?
-
>> And I believe that's what the Apostle
-
Paul knew. He'd been to the third
-
heaven. He knew some important things,
-
uh, some things unlawful to be uttered,
-
of course, but he knew about that. and
-
and he he said, "I long to see you
-
because I want to give you a measure of
-
something. I can send you a great
-
letter. I can send you a great message."
-
And that's good. It's going to help you,
-
but if I can get to you, I will bring to
-
you something that'll change the course
-
of your life, and it will establish you.
-
Now, I don't know about you,
-
when I got my life straightened out with
-
God in uh 1972,
-
when I got that done, a kind of student
-
at university running from God, running
-
as fast as I could to get away. No
-
matter where you go, he's there waiting
-
for you. And I was trying to get away,
-
you know, and and and I was trying to
-
find something that would work. And um
-
you know and and uh I I finally got my
-
life right with God. Began to start to
-
try to read a Bible and I was doing
-
pretty good with that. But I knew there
-
was something that I was needing and I
-
didn't know what it was. And I found a
-
major clue to it. Haven't got it all.
-
I'm still working on all that. But when
-
you go back through there, like Paul
-
said, I long to see you that I may
-
impart to you some spiritual gift, some
-
supernatural spiritual endowment, some
-
dose of the Holy Ghost. There's a song
-
we used to do in our Holy Ghost rallies.
-
Just one dose of the Holy Ghost is not
-
enough for me. I won't sing it to you,
-
but uh you know, but
-
but anyway, um
-
this subject where Paul wrote to that
-
on, you know, and and it's all through
-
the scriptures, old and new testament,
-
but when Paul wrote in there, he said,
-
"I long to see you that I that I may
-
impart." And I don't think he had the
-
the control over who to impart what and
-
to where and I don't think he had all
-
that. I it just looks to me like the
-
Apostle Paul. No, if he just followed
-
the Holy Ghost, went where he's supposed
-
to go, followed the spirit of God,
-
preach the word, let the Holy Ghost flow
-
as he does, people are going to get a
-
measure of the spirit of God, and it's
-
going to change their course of their
-
life, and it'll get them more
-
established.
-
>> You know, when when I began to get
-
things right with God, I knew I was
-
going to heaven. I knew things I I knew
-
I was okay, but I needed to I needed to
-
get established. My life was not too
-
awful steady right then. I did really
-
good for the first week or two
-
after I walked the aisle, prayed the
-
prayer, did a week or two, went back to
-
my dorm, and a week by the time I I was
-
through another week, then I I you know,
-
I thought I I need to go get another
-
dose of that something. And so I I need
-
I saw the need to be established.
-
Something that'll make you steady,
-
sturdy, make you stand, something
-
that'll make you stalwart. And I didn't
-
know what would do that. I didn't know
-
you were supposed to read the Bible.
-
That would have helped. But Paul even
-
said, "I can send you a letter, but I
-
need to see you that I may impart to you
-
some spiritual gift. To the end you
-
might be established, made to stand." um
-
[clears throat] that um
-
that became a real uh concept for me.
-
That was something that it changed the
-
course of my life. This has been I you
-
know we've got tonight we've got uh
-
tomorrow two services Tuesday two
-
Wednesday two and I believe in that time
-
uh I've just got a stirring that word
-
keeps rising up on the inside stalwart
-
established. I really believe if we'll
-
uh anticipate
-
and we'll pursue and go after that, I
-
believe every one of us can leave the
-
meeting by the time we finish Wednesday
-
night. I believe every one of us can
-
have a measure of the spirit of God and
-
be more established and made to stand
-
more than we ever have been before. I
-
just believe there's something in the
-
works. We've been backing up a step. We
-
have been in these new hour prayer
-
meetings we've been having for whatever
-
four years, something like that. One of
-
the things we keep praying about. There
-
were days we didn't we knew not what to
-
pray for as we ought. So we just let the
-
Holy Ghost help us. Okay. There were
-
other times we knew to pray about such
-
and such a thing. But uh you know one of
-
the things that we found ourselves
-
praying about a lot uh it it was you
-
know roughly a half hour something like
-
that four days a week. One of the things
-
we found ourselves praying about a lot
-
was a was a prayer revival.
-
Now, and I I remember, you know, over
-
many years now, I remember hearing you
-
you get around um uh folks that kind of
-
came out of the the uh uh Pentecostal
-
circles, people that came out of, you
-
know, whether it be Assembly of God,
-
Church of God, Pentecostal Church,
-
whatever. People that came out of the
-
Pentecostal circles, you finally
-
sometimes you get some of the older
-
folks,
-
whatever that means. But you know, but
-
I've had those folks tell us about
-
meetings they'd be in where they'd be in
-
a church service and the Holy Ghost
-
would fall. Power of God would fall.
-
Power of God. They didn't have to say,
-
"Okay, everybody, you know, take a knee.
-
Let's pray." When the Holy Ghost fell,
-
people fell. They got on their knees.
-
They got on their faces. They ran the
-
aisles. They danced. They shouted, but
-
they prayed. And they had a move of
-
prayer in the circles back then. And I
-
don't know about you, I've gotten a
-
little tired of trying to look for that
-
to happen. I'm ready for that to happen
-
where the Holy Ghost comes in and
-
invades.
-
>> He did it for years. Why should he not
-
be doing it today? Why should we have
-
gotten so sophisticated that we don't
-
have a prayer move in there?
-
>> It's available.
-
>> But there's something and I've got that
-
string. I don't know how close we are to
-
that, but I have a sense that we are
-
very close to another outpouring of
-
prayer. You know, you're not going to
-
have a great move of God till you have a
-
move of prayer. You're not going to have
-
a great revival until it's jump started
-
with a move of prayer. It's got to have
-
something to get it moving. Okay? And uh
-
so anyway, coming back around, I was uh
-
back in actually 19 it would have been
-
1975, May of 1975. I had I had uh left
-
Michigan, left my job back there, moved
-
down here, and uh Brother Hagen had just
-
started Rama Bible Training Center.
-
Okay. Started it in in uh 19 I think it
-
was uh uh what was September of 1974.
-
And uh I got in October,
-
just a couple weeks late, but I got in
-
there and and went through the uh went
-
through the school year. And I remember
-
brother Hagen, we got to the end and
-
he'd come in oh pretty consistently.
-
He'd go out and do meetings on the road,
-
but he'd come back in and he'd do a week
-
of meetings with we students. Sometimes
-
he'd do a meeting with the students in
-
the morning and open to the public at
-
night and but he spent a lot of time
-
with us.
-
Needed to
-
really needed to. But anyway, um we had
-
a a prayer conference. I think it was
-
January 1975. He had a uh the first
-
first annual prayer conference. And of
-
course now it's gone to winter Bible
-
seminar. And so it's it's gone along the
-
way. It's grown over the years. But um
-
we got to the end of the school year,
-
which would have been uh in May, and
-
we're about to graduate and everybody's
-
figuring out what they're going to do.
-
And I remember Brother Hagen said uh uh
-
and and I don't know about you, but I
-
you know, I when I got in his sessions,
-
I heard him teach things I'd never heard
-
before. They did not have that in the
-
church I grew up in. Yeah,
-
>> there's a lot they didn't have in the
-
church I grew up in. And so, you know,
-
so I I every time he'd teach and some
-
things that were new, I'd go back, you
-
know, to my apartment afterward and I'd
-
get my Bible out and I'd search that. I
-
wanted to make sure it was in the
-
scriptures.
-
>> I couldn't find anything that wasn't.
-
So, I'm listening real good. And he
-
said, "Now, come back uh whatever it
-
was." I think the next Monday, I'm not
-
real sure what it was, but he said,
-
"Come back in, you students, and those
-
of you that have a spouse, bring your
-
spouse with you. Bring them with you if
-
you'd like to. We're going to have a
-
laying on of hands service. I didn't
-
know what that meant, you know, didn't
-
have a clue about that. Said, "We're
-
going to have a laying out of hand
-
service and uh come in. We're going to
-
lay hands. We're going to separate you
-
out of here." You know back there in the
-
the book of acts the 13th chapter we
-
it's 13th chapter of acts verse one
-
there were in the church which was at
-
Antioch certain prophets and teachers
-
such as Barnabas and Saul named five
-
guys and said as they ministered to the
-
Lord and fasted the Holy Ghost said
-
separate unto me Barnabas and Saul for
-
the work to I've sent them and when
-
they'd fasted and prayed they laid laid
-
their hands on him sent forth. So he
-
used that as an example we're going to
-
do for you students what they did back
-
there in the church at Antioch. I
-
thought, well, we got a good scriptural
-
basis here. So, but I didn't know what
-
that was all about. So, we came back in
-
whenever he said to come in and there
-
were 58 of us, the students, some of the
-
guys had a spouse with him. And uh so he
-
he had us all line up and and uh you
-
know, some things some things just stick
-
with you, you know, it's like
-
life-changing. And so I'm in in the line
-
and he prayed for a line of people. was
-
it was just a little wooden building up
-
on uh you know north part of Sheridan
-
and he's u laying hands on everybody and
-
uh you know and and so I'm I'm in the
-
line. I'm in I got in my my place in the
-
line but he began to lay hands on people
-
and and I can still remember I don't
-
know what he prayed over anybody else. I
-
wasn't paying any attention. But when he
-
got to me, I can still remember he said,
-
"Now, Lord, as we lay hands on these
-
students, these graduating students, as
-
we lay our hands on them and send them
-
forth into that which you've called them
-
to do." And he went on prayed certain
-
things. Lord, I pray that you'll let
-
them know what it is they need to do.
-
Let them know where to start, how to
-
prayed certain things, not long, just a
-
little bit. And and he said, "Lord, and
-
I pray that you will impart to them some
-
that same spirit of faith that you put
-
in me so many years ago." Well, if
-
there's anything I knew about Brother
-
Hagen, I didn't know a lot about him,
-
but if there's anything I knew about
-
him, he really knew how to walk the walk
-
of faith. Been healed of incurable blood
-
disease. He had, you know, had a
-
deformed heart, had all this, and here
-
he is traveling the nation covering. So,
-
I said, well, I don't know what that is,
-
but God, if there's a spirit, I I knew,
-
you know, Paul wrote to the Corinthians
-
and said, we having the same spirit of
-
faith.
-
>> Okay, I knew that we having the So, I
-
knew there was an attitude. Not it's not
-
a different than the Holy Spirit, but
-
it's an attitude of faith. And I
-
thought, well, apparently there's an
-
attitude of faith.
-
>> Okay? And he said, "Lord, I pray that
-
you'll impart to them that same spirit
-
of faith that you put in me so many
-
years ago." When he said that, man, I
-
clicked into gear. About that time, he
-
put my hands on me and I felt absolutely
-
nothing. [laughter]
-
If it was there, I didn't know it. I
-
didn't fall. I didn't jump. I didn't
-
run. I didn't shout. I just went back to
-
my seat. That's all I knew. I thought I
-
don't know what that was, but he prayed
-
it, so I must have got it.
-
>> Now, I don't know how to explain it, but
-
you know, we'd been this this was 1974
-
into 1975. The the week I got to school,
-
like I said, a couple weeks late. We had
-
a guest minister in there, and he spent
-
the entire week, all morning long for
-
five days, he's teaching on uh Mark
-
11:23 and 24. He's teaching on the
-
prayer of faith. Never heard anything
-
like that. never heard that before. And
-
so I'm I'm real hungry for this. But
-
we'll put it this way. By the time I'd
-
gone through nine months of school, if
-
there's anything I'd heard, it was
-
faith.
-
>> We had Dr. Fred Price in. We had Kenneth
-
Copeland in. We had Brother Hagen in. We
-
had uh we could go on and on. Anybody
-
that wasn't even anybody yet came in and
-
taught in the school. People you could
-
go down the road in four or five years
-
and oh, everybody knew him. Back in
-
those days, nobody knew him. But they
-
came in. They're friends of Brother
-
Hagens. had come in and uh you know so
-
so
-
where you know I I didn't know what I
-
was looking for but I knew I'd heard
-
faith taught every way you could I'd
-
heard it taught so many ways I I didn't
-
know which way was working. I finally
-
told God I said Lord I I I hate to say
-
this but I'm confused. I've heard faith
-
taught from so many directions I don't
-
even know which one to start with. If
-
you'd help me with that I would greatly
-
appreciate it. And nothing happened. But
-
anyway, anyway,
-
about a week after that, I don't know
-
how to explain it, but about a week
-
after that, all of a sudden, something
-
went off on the inside of me. I couldn't
-
feel it. I couldn't describe it to you.
-
I couldn't tell you what it was, but all
-
I know is something got on the inside of
-
me. And when it did, I thought, just
-
give me somewhere to go. I don't care
-
where it is. I don't care how bad it is.
-
I don't care what nation it is. just
-
give me somewhere to go because I'm
-
going to go and get me a one-way ticket
-
because I don't plan to come back. There
-
was something got in me that there's no
-
such thing as impossible.
-
>> Now, I've tried for a long time to
-
figure out what that was. And I finally
-
looked back a couple weeks and
-
remembered that laying out of hand
-
service when he said, "Lord, I I pray
-
that you'll impart to them that same
-
spirit of faith." Something got
-
deposited in my life. I saw the reality
-
of that. I wasn't I didn't go looking
-
for it. I didn't say, "Lord, I'm going
-
to go to Raymond, get a Holy Ghost
-
deposit." I just wanted to be able to
-
graduate. That was questionable at
-
times.
-
[laughter]
-
Anyway, then I went to work for him and
-
it really got worse. Bless his heart,
-
brother. He had a he had a job to do.
-
But anyway,
-
but over time I I I began to study that
-
and I began to see that uh the numbers
-
the 11th chapter when when Moses he he
-
said God [gasps and sighs] I got I'll
-
I'll kind of explain this. He said,
-
"God, I got a church of three million
-
people." You know, could you imagine
-
having a church of three million people
-
and none of them saved? [laughter]
-
>> That's not a church. That's a nightmare.
-
He said, you know, he said, "Lord, Lord,
-
I've got all these people. I can't do
-
this. Lord, I got a good idea. How about
-
you just kill me?
-
[laughter]
-
Just kill me. Let me go to heaven." Oh,
-
God, let me go to heaven. Just kill me.
-
And of course, God, you know, he's on
-
the other side of this. He goes, "Oh, I
-
got a better idea." When he says that,
-
anyway, he says, "Just pick out 70 of
-
your your your best leaders and bring
-
them aside. Get them into the
-
tabernacle. When you do, I'm going to
-
come down there. when I do my spirit I'm
-
going to take some of my spirit off of
-
you and I'm going to put it on them and
-
they're going to get what you got and
-
they're going to help you with this and
-
you're going to fulfill your call.
-
>> Well, I kept looking through there
-
um uh Numbers the 27th chapter when uh
-
uh you know God spoke to um
-
Moses and he said you know go get Elijah
-
and and put your hands on him give him
-
some of your honor. We don't know what
-
that was. But then you go to the end of
-
the book of Deuteronomy, I think it's
-
the 34th chapter, and he says, and he
-
said Joshua was filled with the spirit
-
of wisdom
-
because Moses had laid his hands upon
-
him. He got a deposit of the Holy Ghost.
-
Well, I kept seeing that. And of course,
-
we know Elijah and Elisha. Elijah had
-
the anointing of God on him. But Elisha
-
walked with him for 15 years. And
-
finally, Elijah said, "What do you
-
want?" He said, "You want fame? You want
-
fortune? You want money?" He said, "I
-
just want what you got,
-
>> but I don't want to stop there. I don't
-
want what you got. I want to double what
-
you got because if one can help all that
-
many people, then a double can help
-
twice as many people. I want a double
-
portion. He said, "Well, you've asked a
-
hard thing, but if you see me when I go
-
now, he's got a guy that's on him like a
-
coat of paint. If you see me, if you see
-
me when I go, you're going to get it."
-
He can't get away from this. Every time
-
he goes somewhere, I'm going to Gilgal.
-
I'm going to No, he's not getting away
-
anywhere because he said, "If you see me
-
when I go, you're going to get it."
-
And we of course we know when uh you
-
know they they went to the river and and
-
and Elijah parted it went over on the
-
other side. Elisha standing on the other
-
side of the river watching of course and
-
uh Elijah threw the mantle out of the
-
the uh chariot of fire. Threw the mantle
-
out of there and Elisha went and picked
-
it up and what did he say? He said,
-
"Where is the Lord God of Elijah?" split
-
the waters and went and did exactly
-
twice as many miracles. He was one
-
miracle short when he died and they put
-
a guy on his bones in there in the tomb
-
and he got raised from the dead. He he
-
got exactly twice as many miracles. But
-
there was something about that
-
impartation deposits of the Holy Ghost
-
all through the old. Then you get over
-
into the new and you see the same thing
-
working there. Well,
-
uh, yeah, I just remember back there
-
around those times I, uh, I had the
-
privilege to work for Brother Hagen.
-
Okay. It was just, it was just divine,
-
just divine something. I, you know, I
-
finished up. I was going to go back to,
-
you know, to Michigan, go back into real
-
estate. I was going to do all that. But,
-
uh, they needed a couple guys to go on
-
the road with them that summer. Brother
-
Hagen did. So Doug Jones, who's still on
-
the staff there at Rama, one of the
-
instructors, and he and I were neither
-
one of us had anything particular we
-
needed to do. So they asked if we'd go
-
to work for him. We said, "Well, sure.
-
Of course we'll do that." So we went on
-
the road and Doug's job was to run the
-
prayer uh rooms, get people born again,
-
filled with the Holy Ghost. My job was
-
to be I was the catcher for the prayer
-
lines. That was my job. I said, "God, I
-
will do this the rest of my life. I will
-
catch for Brother Hagen. I don't care if
-
it's a million people. I will catch for
-
him the I I got I had pulled muscles. I
-
got stuck with hat pins. I'm telling you
-
what, it was a rough life.
-
But I'll tell you what, in those times,
-
>> in those times, I remember we were doing
-
a meeting in uh goodness, I I think it
-
was in Florida and Brother Hagen's doing
-
the the the the line
-
and uh and I'm we I mean, we didn't have
-
like four or five catchers. I was the
-
catching team and I thought if I don't
-
get it right, he's not going to
-
appreciate that. He was a very kind man,
-
but he didn't want to mess up his prayer
-
lines. And so, so we're we're going down
-
and it was a a church with pews in it.
-
And I'm catching people and he and the
-
anointing was so strong and he was
-
moving so fast and and I was catching
-
people. I'd get one in this hand, one in
-
this hand. And and anyway, got to the
-
end of the rope. I don't know what
-
happened, but all of a sudden, the power
-
of God fell. And when it did, it hit me.
-
And I didn't I didn't go down. I went
-
over the end of the pew, landed in the
-
aisle on the other side of the pew, laid
-
there, and I thought, "This is so good."
-
I thought, "But Brother Hagen is not
-
going to ask how good this is." So I
-
crawled out from under that presence.
-
The glory was in there. And I came out
-
of there, and I don't know how to
-
explain it, but it changed my life. I
-
got a deposit of the Holy Ghost. I
-
didn't go looking for it. It wasn't
-
laying on of hands. you know, it it w it
-
wasn't even just association. Something
-
happened getting over into his presence.
-
>> And oh goodness, I mean, you know,
-
Pastor Janet and I we were in uh I'll
-
I'll finish up with this in a few
-
minutes. We were in uh
-
uh Fort Worth. I believe it was Bob
-
Nichols church, I think, wasn't it?
-
>> Yeah. Brother Hagen had a meeting there
-
and and I said, "We we're going wherever
-
we need to go. I'm going to get some
-
more of this
-
because I know every time we get around
-
that, we get something. And when we get
-
something, we can go deposit something.
-
>> And so we man, we would we'd cancel
-
meetings. We'd go down, you know, drive
-
down, get a hotel room, and we'd go to
-
all the services. Well, we were in a
-
service one night, and uh Brother
-
Hagen's ministering, and he it went it
-
went really long, okay? And uh people
-
people start getting up walking out. And
-
I thought I wouldn't do that if I was
-
you. We've been around him a long time.
-
And when all the unbelief walks out,
-
it's when the faith comes in.
-
So about that time, bunch of people
-
walked out and I thought, I will be here
-
tomorrow morning. If he's preaching, I'm
-
sitting. I we we will stay here. And
-
about that time and and we were we were
-
beginning to do a lot of work in uh
-
throughout the continent of Europe and
-
uh brother Hagen uh man it was just if
-
we got in a meeting like that we didn't
-
pull on it. We didn't do anything to try
-
to steer the meeting but it wasn't
-
uncommon for him to look out see us and
-
say Mark and Janet come up here I need
-
to lay hands on you. I think I'll take
-
that. Whatever it is I'll take a double.
-
But he that was one of those meetings.
-
He's on the platform and he said I see
-
Mark and Janet up there. Come up here. I
-
need to lay hands on you, too. So, boy,
-
we headed up there. Thought I don't I
-
don't know what it is, but I'll take it.
-
I'm a firm believer in having deposits
-
of the Holy Ghost, impartations of the
-
spirit of God. Don't know if you feel
-
it. Don't care if you feel it. Doesn't
-
make any difference. I'm going to get
-
something. We We'll get something. We
-
didn't go to meetings just see what was
-
going to happen. We went to pick
-
something up so we could take it to the
-
nations.
-
So, so anyway, we got up on the platform
-
up there and uh maybe my wife can help
-
me with who we got up there and she and
-
I are standing on the platform and
-
brother Hagen is looking toward us like
-
he's going to lay hands on us and he's
-
got Ra. Was it Ray Gene?
-
>> Raene Rene will everybody know Raene.
-
>> Raene was behind him and it was in he
-
was pretty stocky at the time. He's
-
right behind brother Hagen. So we got us
-
here. You got Brother Hagen here. You
-
got Raine behind him. I don't know if
-
there's anybody behind them. Then
-
there's a catcher behind each one of us.
-
So we have this whole group of people up
-
there. And all I know is brother Hagen
-
reached out and he began prophesying
-
about us to us about what was going to
-
come, what was going to happen in the
-
nations, what would take place in
-
different locations. He began to say
-
things. And as he laid hands on us, all
-
I know is I just have this recollection
-
of not just falling, but flying backward
-
into the laps of the catchers behind us.
-
Next thing I know, I'm on the floor. My
-
lovely wife's on the floor next to me.
-
There's two catchers that are underneath
-
us. Brother Hagen's on top of us. Ray
-
Jean's on top of him. And I think
-
another guy or two on top of him. We had
-
we had a you know we used to do those in
-
you know after football games we we
-
yeah
-
I thought I don't know if I I don't know
-
how to get out from under here and I'm
-
not sure I want to get out from under
-
here.
-
We we got up off of that group and after
-
the service we were headed somewhere and
-
we saw Brother Hagen. He said you pull
-
me down. I said well why would I pull
-
you down? I didn't pull you down. He
-
said somebody pulled me down. I said I
-
didn't do it on us. He said, "All I know
-
is when I laid hands on you," he said,
-
"Something great re gree reached on the
-
inside of me and pulled me down and I
-
when I fell down, I went down on top of
-
you." I said, "Well, I knew I knew that
-
happened." [laughter] But I said, "No, I
-
didn't grab a hold of you. I didn't pull
-
you down. I didn't do anything except
-
went in to get something."
-
>> Now, I'm going to get to something.
-
We're going to finish with this. So,
-
we're talking about deposits of the Holy
-
Ghost, impartations of the spirit of
-
God. probably all of us could go through
-
and talk about times where there have
-
been landmarks in our lives where all of
-
a sudden just one encounter with the
-
Holy Ghost and it it gave us something
-
that made us stand. I don't know how to
-
describe it other than those those
-
encounters were the very things that
-
were that uh enabled me to stand in
-
times when I probably didn't know if I
-
could stand. I was in faith. I was
-
believing God doing everything I could
-
do. But I I just didn't I you know this
-
is all new territory. They didn't have
-
this in the church I grew up in. And so
-
I'm, you know, I'm ready for something,
-
but I need I need something like that.
-
And
-
little further ahead, I couldn't even
-
tell you when it was, but we were in a
-
meeting. I think were we both in that
-
meeting? In that meeting with Phil
-
Halerson,
-
I think so. We went to this meeting. I I
-
think really I think it was Brother
-
Hagen had uh a prayer conference uh at
-
Rama. He's ministering in the night
-
services. We're sitting I don't know
-
back toward the nosebleleed section back
-
there somewhere. We're sitting back
-
there and um Brother Hegman teaching on
-
prayer. See you. I didn't lose my
-
direction. I know where I'm going pretty
-
much. And uh he's been teaching on
-
prayer and he says now he said now he
-
says in our meetings he said we
-
sometimes have people that'll lead us in
-
singing and that's good. Sometimes we'll
-
have somebody come up and lead us in
-
prayer. And if it's the right kind of
-
prayer, that's good. If it's just kind
-
of these little things that we do,
-
there's not much to it. Doesn't really
-
produce anything, but you know, we'll
-
let some people lead us in a little bit
-
of prayer sometimes. We'll let somebody
-
lead us in singing. But he says, but he
-
said, I see brother Phil Halverson. Now,
-
I'd heard the name, but I didn't know
-
who this man was. Okay? He, you know,
-
I'd heard he's like a giant in the
-
kingdom, but when he walked up, I
-
thought he's not a giant at all. Okay?
-
But when they said, he said, 'I see
-
brother Phil Halverson. Brother Phil,
-
come up here. I've known Brother H
-
Philip Halverson for a long time. And he
-
said, uh, I'm going to have him. He's
-
going to come up here. And he says, he's
-
an intercessor. I've known him for
-
years. He said, he's accurate. He flows
-
with the spirit of God. I want him to
-
come up here. He's going to lead us in
-
prayer. Well, I'd seen people leading in
-
prayer, but not anything like that. And
-
he said, we've been talking about
-
revival. We've been talking about an
-
outpouring of the spirit of God. We've
-
been talking about a move of the Holy
-
Ghost and we're going to have that. But
-
he says we're not going to have it with
-
the kind of prayer we're used to having.
-
It's not going to come to pass until we
-
have the kind of prayer that Brother
-
Halverson's going to demonstrate.
-
Demonstrate demonstrate by the Holy
-
Ghost. Until he does that, until we get
-
that, we're not going to go any further.
-
>> Okay, that's a little, you know, my
-
interpretation on most of that. But he
-
said until we get there, we're not going
-
to go any we have there's a move of God
-
we've been talking about, praying about,
-
preaching about. It's not going to
-
happen until we until we get to this
-
place that you only get there by the
-
spirit of God. So, Brother Halverson,
-
come up here and just lead us in prayer.
-
Well, I didn't know what to expect.
-
Okay. I'd been around Brother Hagen when
-
he prayed. I'd been around some other
-
meetings. When Brother Halverson got up
-
there, he he got up, took the mic, and
-
it was like fire fell in the place. I
-
don't know how to describe it any way
-
other than that except he began to pray
-
by the Holy Ghost. He prayed in a way
-
I'd never heard before. He'd go a little
-
while in tongues and then he'd switch
-
over and some words would come out in
-
English and then he'd go back into
-
tongues and then a whole paragraph would
-
come out in English and he'd pray about
-
Monday, Monday. No, Tuesday, that's
-
Tuesday. And he'd pray about the next
-
week and then he prays about little
-
pieces that you didn't have a clue what
-
it was about. But all I know is the
-
longer he prayed, the stronger it got in
-
there. There was a presence that came in
-
that room. There was something so big in
-
there that I thought, Lord, I don't even
-
know what this is. I've never been
-
around this before, but I want some of
-
that.
-
>> I've I've wanted a a healing anointing.
-
I've wanted the power of God to come on
-
with a a tangible anointing and in of
-
healing in my hand. There there were
-
things that I was looking for, watching
-
for some things that had taken place
-
over the past few years, but there was
-
something about prayer I just didn't
-
feel like I'd ever really tapped into.
-
When we finished that service that
-
night, I I couldn't describe it except
-
we had uh a lot of friends that were in
-
that service. I don't know if it did
-
other nights. I don't know if it went on
-
from there, but there were friends of
-
ours that were in that service. And we
-
would end up uh a lot of times we'd go
-
to we'd go to brother Hagen's meeting
-
somewhere. He's doing Holy Ghost
-
meetings or something. We'd go to the
-
meeting, but beforehand we'd get in we'd
-
get with a group of people that had also
-
gone to those meetings that had been in
-
that service. We'd get to praying with
-
them and I all of a sudden I thought
-
they all pray like brother Phil.
-
They're praying the same way. They're
-
praying the same way in English. Then
-
they switch over and they pray in other
-
tongues and they go back and forth. And
-
I thought I don't understand this. And
-
next thing I'm trying to pray and I
-
can't stay in English. And I'm going
-
back and forth. And my whole life
-
changed. My prayer life changed in one
-
night.
-
>> It's not where it's going to be, but
-
it's a long ways from where it was.
-
Something changed in me. The ability to
-
tap into the Holy Ghost. Yield to the
-
spirit of God. And and I just said all
-
that. We're going to we're going to take
-
some time to pray for a little bit here.
-
But I said all that to say this has been
-
stirring in me for a few days, number of
-
days now. I really believe there's a
-
there's a spirit of prayer. There's an
-
attitude of prayer. There's a presence
-
of prayer. And I believe I don't believe
-
we're going to get where we're we need
-
to get. We can we're going to talk about
-
I think some things about revival
-
outpourings, demonstrations,
-
manifestations of the Holy Ghost. We're
-
going to do some of that in the next
-
three days, but I don't personally I
-
don't believe we're going to get there
-
without being able to pray like that. I
-
I don't believe we can do it with just
-
the kind of prayer maybe some of us grew
-
up around, maybe we've seen before.
-
We're not going to get there with that
-
kind of there's got to be something.
-
It's a if you want to call it a a facet
-
of intercession, call it whatever you
-
want, but there's
-
there's a
-
There's a realm and a dimension of the
-
spirit of God held in reserve for those
-
that'll tap into that and push into the
-
future. And it's just hovering and
-
waiting until others will reach out,
-
pick it up, take it on the inside, begin
-
to flow. Because the ones that do into
-
the plan of God, they will go and
-
demonstrations will rise up coming right
-
out of heaven. And the power of God will
-
demonstrate.
-
Lives will change, bodies will heal,
-
dead will be raised, many things will
-
take place, but it's going to come by
-
his power. And it's going to come out of
-
his grace. Hallelujah.
-
>> Hallelujah. And he's getting us ready
-
for that.
-
>> Say, who gets that? Who wants it?
-
>> Who's ready to go after it?
-
>> Who's ready to say, God, I I I'm not the
-
sharpest knife in the drawer, but I want
-
some of that. I'm hungry for that. I I
-
may not know everything everybody else
-
knows. I just know what I know, and I
-
know what you know. And if you'll just
-
if you'll just trust me with that, if
-
you'll teach me about that, if I can go
-
to get over into a place of prayer and
-
learn how to jump in and out and flow
-
with the spirit of God, it'll change the
-
course of my life.
-
>> We could go on and on and on and on and
-
on and on. See Larry and Angela over
-
there, princess. See Dana back there.
-
Wild woman. Anyway, yes. I mean, I could
-
go up and down the I I can see. Were any
-
of you guys in that meeting with Phil
-
Halverson? Do you Were any of you in
-
that service? Greg, were you there?
-
There was something about that. I don't
-
know how to describe, but there was
-
something about that. It was so
-
tangible. And that's what Paul said. I
-
long to see that I may impart to you
-
some
-
measure of the spirit.
-
To the end you might be established. I
-
believe God did something in a lot of
-
our lives to establish us.
-
>> We're not where we're going to go, but
-
we're a long ways from where we started.
-
And and I I really believe in the next
-
three days, I believe there's going to
-
be deposits of the Holy Ghost.
-
>> God's going to drop some things on the
-
inside of us. We may not see it, feel
-
it, taste it, smell it. We may not be,
-
but we may get down the road, another
-
week or so, two weeks or so, whatever,
-
and find ourselves, we be we begin to
-
pray, and all of a sudden, there's
-
something rolling out of the inside of
-
us like we've never known before.
-
Something bigger than earth, something
-
greater on the inside we've ever been to
-
before. And when we do, if we learn to
-
flow with that, yield to that, move with
-
that, oh my goodness, what God will do
-
to raise up a group of people,
-
wild, crazy, remnant,
-
rag tag, whatever you want to call us,
-
God will raise up a people.
-
>> Amen.
-
>> Then I believe we can shake the world.
-
>> He shook it with 120. Why shouldn't he
-
be able to do it today?
-
>> Let's all stand to our feet.
-
>> Hallelujah. Glory to God. Let's just
-
take some time to pray about uh about a
-
about a prayer revival.
-
About a prayer revival. You have not
-
because you ask not. Ask and you shall
-
receive that your joy may be full. You
-
know, if that if that wasn't available,
-
why would why would we seem to get
-
stirred to ask for that?
-
>> Why would there be something on the
-
inside of us that says, "I want to be in
-
the middle of that."
-
I see Pastor Eddie turn over here. I've
-
still got in my phone that that message
-
you did on leading from your knees. I
-
that's in my phone. I pull it out,
-
listen to it every now and then. There's
-
something on that something that God put
-
on the inside of you. God, you were
-
what? A youth pastor. You're a youth
-
pastor, but he puts something on the
-
inside of you and you're still carrying
-
that. These things are permanent. They
-
don't come and go. They're permanent if
-
we'll just if we'll just tap in and flow
-
with those things. Hallelujah. Glory to
-
God. Well, let's just take some time to
-
pray. If you're filled with the Holy
-
Ghost, great. If you're not, pray in
-
English, whatever. If you're not filled
-
with the Holy Ghost and want to be, just
-
head for the front. We'll lay hands on
-
you and you will be filled with the Holy
-
Ghost. That's your choice. But now,
-
Father, we're going to lift our hands
-
and lift our voices and
-
lift our hearts, dear Father. There's
-
something about that.
-
Something about that, Father.
-
And you you
-
and youast
-
and you're raising up a galad raising up
-
an end time army walking in your glory.
-
Walking in your power, walking in the
-
fullness of the Holy Ghost. It's

-
where we've been, but thank you for
-
where we're going,

-
Father. I thank you, Lord. I thank you.

that in the next few days, it's going to
-
be a lot of deposits made, going to be a
-
lot of changes that'll take place. I

-
anything according to your will, you
-
hear us.
-
>> And if we know you hear us, whatsoever
-
we ask, we know you we have the petition
-
we desired of you. So we we know,
-
Father, things are in the works. Things
-
are in the works. We're able to pray out
-
your plan. Some of it, but there's much
-
more to come. So we thank you in Jesus
-
name, Father. Hallelujah. Amen. Amen.
