  1. [music] What a name.

  2. >> What a name. What a name. [music]

  3. Wherefore God hath highly exalted him

  4. and given him a name above every name.

  5. [music]

  6. That at the name of Jesus, every knee

  7. shall bow. Things in heaven, things in

  8. earth, things under the earth, and every

  9. tongue confess Jesus Christ is Lord to

  10. the glory of God the Father. We got a

  11. name. [music] It's above sickness, above

  12. disease, above poverty, above lack,

  13. above war. We got a name. We got a name.

  14. Belongs to every one of us. It's in us.

  15. It's for [music] us. It belongs to us.

  16. That's our name. I got a name.

  17. Thank God for the name.

  18. Father, we're grateful. We're so

  19. grateful to be in your church [music] in

  20. the kingdom of God, the body of Christ.

  21. Thank you, Father. We know beyond the

  22. shadow of a doubt, greater [music] is he

  23. that's in us than he that's in the

  24. world. What? know you not that you're

  25. the temple of God and the spirit of God

  26. dwells on the inside [music] of you.

  27. Father, thank you for the great knowing

  28. in the church. We know we know whom we

  29. have believed and we're persuaded he's

  30. able to keep that which we've committed

  31. unto him against that day. Whatever

  32. comes along, we got a name. We got a

  33. name. We've got a name. Sickness has a

  34. name. Disease has a name. We got a

  35. greater name.

  36. Hallelujah.

  37. Glory to God.

  38. Hallelujah. [music]

  39. Hallelujah.

  40. And there's a wave of there's a wave of

  41. that presence in here now. It's been

  42. moving since the service started. Thank

  43. you. A wave of miracles, a wave of

  44. healings, a wave, a wave of the divine

  45. order of almighty God. So in the name of

  46. Jesus, in the name of Jesus, we take

  47. authority right now in this house. We

  48. take authority over sickness, disease,

  49. infirmity. We take authority over lung

  50. problems. We take authority over um

  51. oh so many things. Goodness, goodness,

  52. goodness. Thank you, dear father.

  53. Hallelujah. Thank you in the respiratory

  54. [music]

  55. area. Thank you, dear father. In the

  56. circulatory system, in the nervous

  57. system, Father, thank you. Thank you.

  58. There's a wave of divine healing

  59. sweeping through the place in Jesus'

  60. name. Backs being healed,

  61. joints being healed, arthritis

  62. dissolving and disappearing. Thank you

  63. for it, dear father. There's a wave of

  64. divine healing, divine health,

  65. divine results in Jesus name. And we

  66. take hold of that and we speak that out

  67. over this house. Even those watching

  68. online,

  69. we got a name greater than any other

  70. name. And we uh we appropriate that name

  71. even right now in the name of Jesus, the

  72. name above every name. And we thank you

  73. for it. We thank you for it. We thank

  74. you for it. You said in your word, he

  75. that believes has he that believes has

  76. everlasting life. He that believes has

  77. healing in their body. He that believes

  78. has deliverance from poverty. He that

  79. believes has If we believe it, we got

  80. it. So we got it. We've got it. It's

  81. ours in the name of Jesus. Jesus bought

  82. and paid for it and we took it.

  83. Hallelujah. We thank you in Jesus' name,

  84. Father. And we thank you, Father, for

  85. the remainder of the service today.

  86. Thank you for doing all you want to do.

  87. Thank you, Father, for what you are

  88. doing.

  89. We don't say that just as a cliche, but

  90. something is happening.

  91. >> We know that, Father. We don't know

  92. beyond that, and that's okay. We'll see

  93. it. We'll know it. Something is

  94. happening. Something in the church

  95. world. Yes. in this city. Yes. But even

  96. closer, something's happening in this

  97. house.

  98. >> You're getting us ready for what you're

  99. getting ready for us. And we thank you

  100. for it in Jesus name, Father.

  101. Hallelujah. Amen.

  102. >> Amen. Amen. Amen. Well, one more time,

  103. let's lift our hands and give him

  104. thanks. Thank you, Lord. Thank you,

  105. Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord.

  106. [music]

  107. Thank you, Lord.

  108. >> [music]

  109. >> Hallelujah.

  110. Glory. Glory. Glory. Praise God.

  111. Hallelujah. Can I think of Glory? Well,

  112. you may be seated. Thank you. Appreciate

  113. our appreciate our worship team.

  114. Our worship leaders.

  115. I'm so glad they don't just entertain,

  116. they lead.

  117. >> Hallelujah. Glory to God. Hallelujah.

  118. You know, I know I've used this phrase

  119. before, but it it's good to good enough

  120. to be repeated. You ever get to where

  121. you just know some things in your

  122. knower?

  123. >> That's just how things work. You know,

  124. greater is he that's in me than he

  125. that's in the world. Okay? We know from

  126. uh Romans 8:14,

    Romans 8:14

  127. as many as are led by the spirit of God,

  128. they are the sons of God. Once we're

  129. born again, the Holy Ghost moves on the

  130. inside. Greater is he that's in us than

  131. he that's in the world. And so some, you

  132. know, instead of somebody having to tell

  133. us from the outside, what we really get

  134. to know is what we know on the inside.

  135. And that that pertains that's not just

  136. church. That's every that's life. And uh

  137. um you know, I won't go any further

  138. because I really don't know where I'd go

  139. if I did. But uh I've got I've got some

  140. things actually started about 20 minutes

  141. ago. I got some things rolling on the

  142. inside. There's a knowing and my knower.

  143. Hallelujah. We'll see as we go along.

  144. We'll watch what it is. But God's

  145. getting us ready for what he's getting

  146. ready for us.

  147. >> You know, the head can't get anything

  148. done without a body.

  149. >> Just the way it works. But he's got a

  150. body. He's got a He's got a number of

  151. people in this house. Now, I can't speak

  152. for anybody else. I don't go there. But

  153. I I can speak for this place that God's

  154. got a he's got a lot of um busy, active,

  155. ready to go people in this house. And uh

  156. really that's all he needs, you know,

  157. doesn't need great uh ability, just

  158. needs great availability.

  159. >> And he's got that.

  160. >> Anybody that's in that, just raise one

  161. hand, say, "I'm available.

  162. >> I'm available."

  163. >> You just committed yourself.

  164. >> God God's got that written down up

  165. there. So anyway, anyway, this is this

  166. is a great interesting morning. Okay.

  167. There's just uh there's a lot of things

  168. happening right now. Um

  169. you know, I've told people before I'm a

  170. just by I I don't know if it's nature,

  171. personality, call, I don't know what it

  172. is, but I'm I'm personally I'm just not

  173. a real good maintainer.

  174. I maintain just so long and then I I I

  175. have this thing where I kind of get

  176. bored and uh I [laughter] heard that

  177. somebody said, "Uh oh." So, so, uh, but,

  178. um, you know, sometimes you just have to

  179. ride along with things until things

  180. begin to change. And, um, um, you know,

  181. there's just there's something in the

  182. works right now. And I like what it is.

  183. It's a there's a a stirring on the

  184. inside and it'll show up on the outside.

  185. Something on the inside working on the

  186. outside. Oh, what a change in our

  187. church. Hallelujah.

  188. So, so, um, we've got a lot of

  189. directions we could and should go, but

  190. you know, uh, some things just take a

  191. little more time than, uh, than we've

  192. got. And so, that's why we've got from

  193. now till the rapture of the church.

  194. Okay? So, we've got all that time. And

  195. when the rapture takes place, uh, you

  196. can stay if you want, but I plan to

  197. check out of here and, uh, go. First

  198. load, [snorts]

  199. >> second car, first load.

  200. First car is the dead and Christ rise

  201. first.

  202. >> [laughter]

  203. >> I'm taking second car, first load.

  204. Anyway,

  205. anyway, good to see everyone this

  206. morning. There is a when we got we

  207. walked in here, Pastor Jan and I were

  208. out over in the front and I thought,

  209. dear Lord, there's a shout in the house.

  210. There's just there's just there's just

  211. something going something's happening.

  212. >> Yeah. as far as I'm concerned, it's

  213. happening for us, to us, in us, through

  214. us, and conferred upon us, as the

  215. amplified says. So anyway, um I'm going

  216. to go back through and just read a verse

  217. to start with out of Habach chapter 2,

  218. verse two. It's one probably we're all

  219. familiar with to some degree

  220. where it says, "And the Lord answered me

  221. and said, write the vision, make it

  222. plain upon tables,

  223. >> "That he may run that reads it." See,

  224. when we get it, it's not time to sit

  225. down and go, "Well, we'll just see if

  226. that happens." No, that he may run that

  227. readeth that for the vision is yet for

  228. an appointed time. I think that's where

  229. maybe a lot of us have had a little bit

  230. of discomfort over the decades, you

  231. know, because well, I got this great

  232. vision and I've been praying and

  233. believing God and doing everything I

  234. know to do and etc etc all that. Anyway,

  235. he says uh for the vision is yet for an

  236. it's for an appointed time. Okay. And uh

  237. it just some things just take time. You

  238. you can have some beginnings. You can

  239. have some momentum, but the vision

  240. itself is for an appointed time, but at

  241. the end it shall speak and not lie.

  242. Isn't it interesting? God knew enough to

  243. say it'll take it. It's not going to

  244. start happening till toward the end.

  245. There's some things for the church world

  246. that aren't going to happen until we get

  247. close to the end. And you can't get a

  248. lot closer to the end than we are right

  249. now.

  250. You know, I mean, we we've got uh an we

  251. have an armada.

  252. Isn't that what the pre the president

  253. called it? An armada of of uh of um uh

  254. ships and carriers and they're all and

  255. they're all headed over toward amazing.

  256. They're headed they're all headed over

  257. toward uh Iran, toward the Middle East.

  258. I don't know about you, I like that. I I

  259. kind of like the deal. I like I like

  260. having a I love now you can you can

  261. think whatever you want, believe

  262. whatever you want, say whatever you

  263. want, but if you start praying for the

  264. president, you'll say nice things.

  265. >> And if you're not saying nice things

  266. because you're not praying,

  267. >> well, I don't think he's right all the

  268. time. Well, are you?

  269. >> Just a joke. Anyway,

  270. anyway, there's so many things going on

  271. right now that uh you know they and and

  272. you know we're America's right in the

  273. middle of all these things. They may be

  274. thousands of miles away, but you know,

  275. this all kind of reflects back on us.

  276. And I just like the fact that he says at

  277. the end it's going to speak. Yeah,

  278. >> we're close to the end when we start

  279. seeing all these carriers and

  280. battleships and all this heading over

  281. toward heading over toward the Middle

  282. East. Uh that's kind of be it's kind of

  283. the focal point of everything toward the

  284. end and all you know all of our forces

  285. are heading that direction or a lot of

  286. them I should say. Uh what a time to be

  287. alive and well.

  288. >> Alive and well anyway.

  289. But at the end it shall speak and not

  290. lie though it tight for it. Oh, we're so

  291. good at waiting.

  292. >> [laughter and gasps]

  293. >> though it terry. Wait for it because it

  294. will surely come. It will not terry.

  295. There are things it just takes time to

  296. get them there. You know, I'm so glad

  297. God's been working on this for 6,000

  298. years and it's just taken some time to

  299. get things. Why? Because he's had to

  300. work through humans.

  301. >> Yeah.

  302. >> Not that anybody in here would qualify

  303. for that, but but um you know uh where

  304. we are right now, what an amazing time.

  305. What an amazing time. I I don't do a lot

  306. of watching the news because what was it

  307. Smith Wigglesworth told Lester Summerall

  308. one time he said had a newspaper under

  309. his arm. He said don't bring that thing

  310. in my house. He said why not? He said

  311. why read half truth when you got the

  312. whole truth. Bring your Bible and come

  313. in. So he had to throw his newspaper in

  314. the bushes and bring his Bible and go on

  315. the inside. Well, we're kind of at the

  316. same place and I don't mean that in a

  317. critical way, but the news is the news.

  318. their their job is to say whatever they

  319. want to say and sell papers and or news

  320. or whatever they do doesn't mean it's

  321. all true doesn't mean we're getting

  322. truth because we have a Bible we have

  323. truth and we've got the Holy Ghost on

  324. the inside of us that he knows all the

  325. truth and he and you know a lot of

  326. things he just doesn't tell us all of it

  327. he kind of lets us know on a need to

  328. know basis and sometimes what you need

  329. to know and what you do know are two

  330. different things but anyway moving along

  331. here

  332. says um uh you know the vision's for an

  333. appointed time. It will not terry it

  334. will come. And he said it's for the end.

  335. Well, I'd say we're about as close to

  336. the end of the church age as we're going

  337. to get. We're we're really close. We

  338. know the return of Jesus is out here,

  339. but the le church is leaving seven years

  340. earlier. So, you know, there's just a

  341. lot going on right now. And uh what a

  342. day to be alive. It's not a day to be

  343. afraid. My goodness, if if you're afraid

  344. of it, you need to go back and read your

  345. Bible. And if you can't watch the news

  346. without being afraid, then shut your TV

  347. off and go back to your Bible. That's

  348. all truth. So, uh, so anyway, um, in

  349. going back through that, it's it's

  350. vital. Uh, vision is so important.

  351. Vision is supernatural insight into

  352. where we're going. And vision is so

  353. vision's important for the church world.

  354. Vision is important for the body of

  355. Christ. Vision is important for the

  356. local church. And with that being the

  357. case, um, goodness, we mentioned it

  358. earlier when God began to we, Pastor

  359. Janet and I married 1979.

  360. >> Pardon me?

  361. Feb when

  362. checking to see if she remembers.

  363. Anyway,

  364. and I'm coming over here for a little

  365. while.

  366. I was going somewhere and I I I got

  367. myself confused. Anyway, um I was going

  368. somewhere right then. So,

  369. uh anyway, we we were married in in 79

  370. and uh we um began traveling within just

  371. a few weeks time. We traveled, you know,

  372. all over the United States. By the end

  373. of that year, we took our first trip to

  374. the nations and and uh began traveling

  375. all we traveled for about 19 years to

  376. the nations of the world. I I have no

  377. idea how many trips it was. I think I

  378. think about 250 something like that. I I

  379. don't know. Um all I know is last I

  380. checked we have like 5.2 uh million

  381. miles on just on one airline alone. Tell

  382. them they should have we should have our

  383. own seats embroidered with our names,

  384. but we don't. Anyway,

  385. so um and then God be to uh we pray. You

  386. know when you pray it's amazing what you

  387. pick up. you know, you can just move

  388. along through life and have a good time,

  389. but you begin to pray, you're going to

  390. pick up eternity. And so, we begin to

  391. pray and we had a there's a group of us

  392. that uh a number of names you'd

  393. recognize if you heard. We traveled the

  394. nations of the world and um uh we went

  395. to the Philippines, we went to

  396. throughout uh Europe, we went to um uh

  397. on and on to

  398. South America, I believe it was. Anyway,

  399. went all over. And and uh as we did

  400. that, all of a sudden we'd begin praying

  401. and um oh goodness, praying all of a

  402. sudden it'd be like um when I say you'd

  403. see something. I don't mean like open

  404. vision angels appearing. Sometimes you

  405. just get a glimpse of something in the

  406. future. Okay? And you can you can

  407. interpret it, you can misinterpret it.

  408. So you know so you don't take that and

  409. change your life about that. But you

  410. take that and you just begin to keep

  411. rolling that and see if it keeps coming

  412. back up or if it was just the pizza you

  413. had, you know, the day before. Just have

  414. to see. But anyway, we begin to just get

  415. glimpses of um a church. And we'd finish

  416. praying and I'd make the statement to

  417. there were like five or six of us. I'd

  418. make the statement. I'd say, "Keep

  419. running. I across something. It it uh it

  420. looks like a church." And I keep saying,

  421. "Lord, if I didn't know better, I'd

  422. think that was a church that's kind of

  423. that we keep running into when we pray."

  424. and and uh you know, we'd talk about it.

  425. We had were convinced that one of the

  426. other people in that group was going to

  427. be the one we're going to start a church

  428. and one of them was going to pastor it

  429. because I kept saying, "It's sure not

  430. me, okay? I I'm I am an itinerant. I am

  431. a born itinerant. I was born with a

  432. steering wheel in my hand. I tell you

  433. what, I'm I'm So anyway,

  434. to speed my way through this, um, we

  435. just, you know, we we we kept praying

  436. about this, praying about it until all

  437. of a sudden we knew that we knew that

  438. what God was dealing with us to do was

  439. to plant a local church. And I said,

  440. Lord, I I prayed I've tried to pray my

  441. way out of that. that I said, "Lord, I

  442. don't understand what this could be

  443. because I don't know how you go to the

  444. nations for 19 years and then come back

  445. and take a local church in a local

  446. city." And we really knew that Tulsa was

  447. the city. And I I said, "Lord, I don't

  448. know how you do I don't know. I don't

  449. know how you do that." And and and do

  450. both. Go to the nations of the world and

  451. also have a local church in the city. I

  452. I don't understand. That doesn't make

  453. any sense to me. And um but but I said,

  454. 'Lord, that does just it does not go

  455. away. The more we pray, the bigger it

  456. gets on the inside. This was uh this

  457. would have been uh 1990,

  458. it would have been rough roughly 1997, I

  459. believe. And this this went on for off

  460. and on for like a year and a half,

  461. something like that. Uh I don't believe

  462. in getting in a hurry, okay? I'm the I

  463. am the turtle on muscle relaxers. Okay.

  464. So, anyway,

  465. to to speed this up, we kept getting

  466. closer and closer, we found a place to

  467. meet. We we found East Central High

  468. School.

  469. There you go.

  470. What a spot. Uh and we live to tell.

  471. But, uh it was just a a number of weeks

  472. before we're going to start the first

  473. Sunday in in August. And I kept

  474. thinking, I just don't know. I won't go

  475. into why, but there was a lot of reasons

  476. why I just didn't know if this was going

  477. to work or not. Um, a lot of things were

  478. happening. Um, well, anyway, uh, just

  479. didn't know for sure. And so, Pastor

  480. Janet and I, this was before either one

  481. of us was called pastor, we we were

  482. doing a meeting uh, in the Houston,

  483. Texas area, and we had an afternoon off,

  484. and we said uh, we'd been to Brother

  485. Ostein's church, Lakewood Church. Uh,

  486. he'd built a beautiful new building, I

  487. think maybe 8,000 seats. I'm not real

  488. sure what it was at that time. Uh this

  489. is when he was still the pastor. Uh this

  490. was before Joel Ostein came along. He

  491. was there, but he was kind of doing the

  492. TV work, I think, if I remember right.

  493. Well, so we uh we said, "Let's drive

  494. over there and just I just want to see

  495. the building." You know, we we knew

  496. Brother Ostein from the fact that both

  497. of us had worked for Brother Hagen at

  498. one time or another. Brother Hagen, I

  499. was very close to Brother Ostein and

  500. we'd go do meetings down with him. We'd

  501. sometimes run his product table, run his

  502. prayer lines and whatever. And um

  503. actually from 197 January 1975 on, we

  504. would I was able to be in brother

  505. Ostein's church at different times with

  506. brother Hagen. And just that's where

  507. that's where people say, "Where'd you

  508. get your where'd you get your call to

  509. the nations?" I I kept saying, "I don't

  510. know. I don't know." And then one day I

  511. thought, "I do know. I got it from being

  512. in Brother Ostein's church for a week."

  513. Nations is such a tangible thing. being

  514. in there for a week. When I came out, I

  515. was not the same person. It's a tangible

  516. something that got on the inside of me

  517. and it's never gone away. That's a few

  518. years ago. So, we uh we said, "Well,

  519. we're going to drive over there. We'll

  520. go to Brother Ostein's and just see if

  521. we can just walk around the campus,

  522. maybe go in the front door, take a look

  523. at it, whatever. Don't want to bother

  524. anybody. We just want to go take a

  525. look." So, we went over there and uh you

  526. know, we we went to the church and uh

  527. whoever we talked to said, "Uh, oh,

  528. we'll have a man that'll that will um

  529. give you a tour of the campus." We said,

  530. "Well, yeah, that's great if if you have

  531. somebody that can do that." Here was

  532. this taller, stately, older gentleman.

  533. Older's relative.

  534. Yes, it is. And and um so we said, you

  535. know, and she said, "He'll he'll he'll

  536. walk you around the campus, show you the

  537. campus." And so he came and showed up.

  538. He's going to show us inside the

  539. auditorium and all that. And and just

  540. the kindest, amazing gentleman. We

  541. finally said, "Uh, do you know brother,

  542. brother Olstein?" He said, "Yeah, yeah."

  543. Said, "You know, how long have you known

  544. him?" "Oh, a long time. Where did you

  545. meet him?" said, "I'm the one that got

  546. him saved.

  547. I'm wherever you're going, I'm following

  548. you." What? So, so he showed us around

  549. and of course about that time his his

  550. radio goes off and he said, "Brother

  551. Ostein's on his way in. He heard you two

  552. were at the at the church and he was

  553. home. He wanted to come here and see

  554. you. I said, "Are you sure? This is

  555. Brother Ostein we're talking about." I

  556. was I wasn't sure that he really knew

  557. us. I didn't know. So anyway, he said,

  558. "Yeah, he's on his way in." So he came

  559. in. We went upstairs to his office and

  560. uh he began he was just the kindest

  561. probably one of the probably one of the

  562. greatest men I've ever met in the gospel

  563. and every other way. He just carried

  564. something about him. carried the world

  565. on the inside of him for one thing. And

  566. uh he uh

  567. so we're sitting there and and he you

  568. know he's just he's just friendly

  569. talking with us and I thought I can't

  570. stand it anymore. I knew he'd been uh

  571. frontier evangelist. I knew he'd done

  572. frontier evangelism. I knew he'd been in

  573. the Philippine Islands. I knew he was

  574. somewhere in Asia when the Holy Ghost

  575. spoke to him and said, "Go back to

  576. Houston and take Lakewood Baptist

  577. Church. Become the pastor. It's

  578. available. you become the pastor of

  579. that? Now, I knew that much just I'd

  580. heard that. And so I said, "R brother, I

  581. want to can I ask you a question." He

  582. said, "Sure, go ahead." And I said, "How

  583. long did you travel the nations of the

  584. world before you came back here and

  585. became pastor of Lakewood Baptist

  586. Church?" He said, "Well, let's see. It

  587. was" and he starts counting and all of a

  588. sudden he stopped. He said, "Why?

  589. Got something on your heart?" And I

  590. said, "Well, I don't know for sure." We

  591. were just weeks away from our first

  592. service and I thought I don't know

  593. whether to have a service or to pack up

  594. and leave town and just not come back

  595. for a couple of years. I don't know what

  596. to do. And he said, "You got something

  597. in your heart?" And I said, "Well, uh,

  598. maybe." You know, didn't want to commit

  599. myself right then. So, Pastor Janet and

  600. I were sitting there in his office. He

  601. said, "What is it?" I said, "Well, um,

  602. maybe a a church." And I thought, "If I

  603. can even say if I can verbalize that,

  604. it's a big start." Said, "Maybe maybe

  605. maybe a church." And uh so he asked us a

  606. couple questions and he said uh well he

  607. said now I'll say this I don't know I

  608. don't know if God's telling you to start

  609. a church or not. He said that's your

  610. department. You got to figure that one

  611. out. I thought you are no help at all.

  612. You [laughter] know you could you give

  613. us a word something. He said I don't

  614. know but he said but I will I will say

  615. one thing. You know sometimes somebody

  616. can make a statement that'll change your

  617. life. And when it comes from somebody

  618. like that that's walked the walk talked

  619. the talk lived the life. He said, 'I I I

  620. I can't say if it's right or wrong.

  621. That's your department. You're because

  622. whatever you do, you're going to have to

  623. live with it. Okay? Whether it's good,

  624. whether it's wrong, whether it's right,

  625. you got to live with it. He said, but I

  626. will say this sometimes,

  627. well, honestly, he said, you'll never,

  628. you know, you're wondering what can this

  629. work? How will this work? Said you'll

  630. never touch the world without a power

  631. base. That's what I'm trying to get to.

  632. I want to just cover a few things today.

  633. We'll have to we'll pick up another time

  634. and cover more of this. But he just sat

  635. there quietly said, "You'll never touch

  636. the world." See, my question was, "How

  637. can we continue to touch the world if we

  638. if we have start a church in Tulsa,

  639. Oklahoma? How can we do that?" And he

  640. makes this statement. He says, "You'll

  641. never never touch the world without a

  642. power base." And I thought, "Yeah, he's

  643. been to the nations of the world, came

  644. back, took this little church with about

  645. 200 people, stayed in there for years,

  646. and it began to grow and multiply, and

  647. now we're in his church of about 8,000

  648. seats, and they can't get all the people

  649. in." something happened.

  650. >> He said, "You'll never touch the world

  651. without a power base." And I will say

  652. this, he said, "Sometimes God will send

  653. you to the He's just not going to leave

  654. me alone.

  655. Sometimes God will send you to the

  656. nations so he can bring you back home

  657. where you can touch the whole world." He

  658. said, "That's what he did with me." He

  659. said, "I touch the whole world every

  660. week." He said, "I send back that's the

  661. days of, you know, videotapes and all

  662. that." He said, "I touch the world every

  663. Sunday." He said, "I go all over. I

  664. don't know how many nations I'm in. I

  665. don't know how many cities I'm in. I

  666. don't know how many places I'm in. All I

  667. know is I preach it here and they take

  668. it and send it all over the world. I

  669. preach in here and I touch the nations

  670. of the world. He said, I get to I get to

  671. touch the whole world from one place and

  672. I can still go anytime, any place I need

  673. to go and any place I want to go. I can

  674. I can still go anywhere. I still have

  675. the ability to do that.

  676. I thought, okay, solved. So, we he

  677. prayed with us. uh really told us we

  678. could within a few weeks time just

  679. before we I think we just started the

  680. church. He said uh come back down some

  681. Sunday afternoon, come for the evening

  682. service. He said, "I'll I'll pray for

  683. you here." We said, "That'd be good. We

  684. needed somebody just pray for us and

  685. needed some help." So we did. We went

  686. after service, flew down to Houston,

  687. went to the church, and uh we thought he

  688. was just going to call us up, you know,

  689. back to his office afterward. Middle of

  690. a service, he said, "Mark and Janet, I

  691. see you out there. Come up to the front.

  692. I need to pray for you two. Church full

  693. of people." thought, "Boy, there's no

  694. nothing like, you know, going public

  695. with we're going to start a church."

  696. But he called us up, had us get down on

  697. our knees, laid his hands on us, and

  698. prayed for us. Holy Ghost came on us.

  699. God imparted something into our lives

  700. that changed us forever. So anyway,

  701. anyway, we got our vision by sitting in

  702. John Ostein's office. Basically, he

  703. said, "You'll never touch the world

  704. without a power base." My question after

  705. that was, Lord, what's a power base?

  706. What's the power base? I've never been

  707. actively in a church. The minute I got

  708. my life right with God, I went to a

  709. couple churches for a short time.

  710. Brother Hagen started Rama. I got a

  711. couple suitcases, flew out here, began

  712. to work for him, and stayed on the road

  713. with him for at that time for a few

  714. years. So, I said, "Lord, I've never

  715. been around what you'd call a a power

  716. base. I don't even know what that is.

  717. You're going to have to give us some

  718. instruction for that." Well, you know,

  719. you have not because you

  720. >> ask not. ask and you shall receive that

  721. your joy may be full. So, we're praying

  722. about this and if you want to look at it

  723. now, we'll just take a few minutes and

  724. we're going to look over at the 13th

  725. chapter of the book of Acts.

  726. I said, Lord, I said, Lord, we've been

  727. to

  728. I have no idea how many churches we've

  729. been to. We've been to churches all over

  730. the world. We've been to churches all

  731. over Europe. We've been to churches all

  732. over Central uh South America. We've

  733. been to churches in Asia. We've been to

  734. churches in Australia. Lord, I said,

  735. Lord, we've been everywhere. And I said,

  736. I don't mean this wrong, but if you

  737. said, pick a church out that you feel

  738. like that's what it's if you're going to

  739. start a church, this is what it's

  740. supposed to look like. I said, Lord, if

  741. you told me to do that, I'd be in

  742. trouble because I cannot take I can't

  743. think of a church right now that I would

  744. say this is what I feel like it's

  745. supposed to look like. Not that one's

  746. good, one's bad, one's ugly. It's not

  747. like that. It's just I I have not seen

  748. one that looked like anything like it

  749. registered on the inside. So I said,

  750. "Lord, if we're going to start

  751. something, I I need to know what the

  752. vision is. What's this supposed to look

  753. like?" Well, we did really nothing more

  754. than just say, "Lord, what is this

  755. supposed to look like?" And the Holy

  756. Ghost took us to Acts the 13th chapter

  757. and gave us the the vision. This is the

  758. church that changed the world. Okay? And

  759. I'll I'll back up a little bit with

  760. this. If you go back through there,

  761. Jesus had given instructions to his

  762. disciples. We know the 14 24th chapter

  763. of Matthew's gospel, verse 14, um the

  764. disciples said, you know, Lord, when

  765. shall these things come to pass? What

  766. will be the signs of your coming and of

  767. the end of the world? That's first part

  768. of 24th chapter of Matthew. And then

  769. verse 14, Jesus said, and

  770. and he gave him an absolute and this

  771. gospel of the kingdom shall be preached.

  772. shall you don't get much better than

  773. that. This gospel of the kingdom shall

  774. be preached in all the world for a

  775. witness to every nation. They said,

  776. "Lord, what's going to be the sign of

  777. your coming and of the end of the age?"

  778. Okay, you asked, you get it? This gospel

  779. of the kingdom, not another one, not

  780. part of one, not just twothirds of a

  781. gospel, not the part you like,

  782. not the powerless one. This gospel of

  783. the kingdom shall be preached in all the

  784. world for witness to

  785. >> every nation.

  786. every nation. Every nation. He gave him

  787. instructions. This gospel of the kingdom

  788. shall be preached in all the world for

  789. witness to every nation. Then the end is

  790. going to come. Well, that's pretty

  791. plain. He said, "This gospel, every

  792. nation." Okay. Well, then you go over to

  793. Mark 16:15. Jesus talking to his

    Mark 16:15

  794. disciples. He said, "Go into all the

  795. world. Go into all the world. Preach the

  796. gospel to every creature." He didn't he

  797. didn't delete anybody. The good, the

  798. bad, the ugly, doesn't matter. Go into

  799. all the world, preach the gospel to

  800. every creature. He that believes and is

  801. baptized shall be saved. He that

  802. believes not shall be damned, and these

  803. signs shall follow them that believe. In

  804. my name, they'll cast out devils.

  805. They'll speak with new tongues. And we

  806. know the the the whole thing there. But

  807. notice he said, "Go into all the world,

  808. preach the gospel to every creature."

  809. So, we got Matthew 24:14. We got Markap

    Matthew 24:14

  810. 16:15. Then you got Acts chapter 1 vers8

    Acts 1 chapter mention

  811. when the disciples were talking to Jesus

  812. about when you coming back. And he said,

  813. "It's not for you to know the times, but

  814. Acts 1:8, but you shall receive power

    Acts 1:8

  815. after the Holy Ghost has come upon you,

  816. and you shall be witnesses unto me to

  817. every Jew you can find." Is that what he

  818. said?

  819. >> No. No. He said he said uh he said acts

    Acts 1 chapter mention

  820. chapter 1 vers8 uh this gospel talked

  821. about this you when you when you coming

  822. back what can we know he said he said uh

  823. talk to his disciples and he said this

  824. gospel this gospel this gospel this

  825. gospel all the world every nation every

  826. tongue every kindred every tribe isn't

  827. that what he said Acts chapter 1 vers8

    Acts 1 chapter mention

  828. go into all the world every creature

  829. every okay so he's giving given him the

  830. end result on that. Acts chapter 1:8

  831. this gospel of the kingdom shall be

  832. preached all the world witness to every

  833. nation then the end's going to come. You

  834. can't get much plainer. So we got

  835. Matthew 24 we got Mark 16 we got Acts

    Acts 1 chapter mention

  836. chapter 1 and that's just a few. Jesus

  837. for his really three and a half years of

  838. earthly ministry, he kept telling his

  839. disciples, "Every nation, all the world,

  840. every creature,

  841. every creature, not just every Jewish

  842. creature, every creature, every

  843. creature." Isn't that what he said? So,

  844. they've got their instructions and then

  845. he leaves.

  846. He's given them their directions. Cloud

  847. receives him up out of their sight and

  848. they're standing there gazing up into

  849. heaven. And the angel said, "Why stand

  850. you gazing up into heaven?" this same

  851. Jesus is coming back in the same manner

  852. is leaving in go get busy.

  853. >> Yeah.

  854. >> So they got busy and so for the next six

  855. years they went everywhere. He said he

  856. said um talked about Jerusalem, Judea,

  857. Samaria and the uttermost parts of the

  858. world. Man, they nailed it in Jerusalem.

  859. They didn't go anywhere else. And six

  860. years later,

  861. six years later, Stephen was stoned. He

  862. had so he had so many miracles they took

  863. him out and stoned him. I want miracles.

  864. I don't know if I want that many, you

  865. know, but

  866. but anyway. Anyway, and so the disciples

  867. were because of the persecution, they're

  868. spreading out. Isn't it interesting?

  869. They spread, you can read Acts chapter

  870. uh chapter 8 verse one, first couple

  871. verses. And they went to Judea and they

  872. went to Jerusalem. And I thought that's

  873. where he told them to go to start with.

  874. Acts 18. Okay. You'll receive power

  875. after the Holy Ghost has come upon you

  876. and you'll be witnesses unto me both in

  877. Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria and the

  878. uttermost parts of the world. They got

  879. as far as Jerusalem got stuck.

  880. And so now Stephen gets stoned. They

  881. decided I think we'll move.

  882. So they went out uh you know they they

  883. they got busy out there went to Judea

  884. Samaria. That's where he told them to

  885. go. They didn't go by choice. They went

  886. by out of persecution.

  887. And and if short course on this, if you

  888. read that's six years after the

  889. resurrection for six years, they didn't

  890. take it anywhere other than Jerusalem

  891. and and the Jewish nation. They just

  892. didn't get it. Like somebody said, they

  893. were looking at the gospel through

  894. religious colored glasses. They just

  895. didn't get it. Okay? And really, Acts

    Acts 8 chapter mention

  896. chapter 8 said they went to Jerusalem,

  897. Judea, Samaria. They went everywhere

  898. except the apostles.

  899. You can read Acts chapter 8 verse 1 2

    Acts 8:1

  900. and 3. The apostles they were the only

  901. one they didn't believe. They were the

  902. ones he gave the instructions to. Now

  903. I'm not going I'm not criticizing them.

  904. I don't want to see them on the other

  905. side and have them say you really you

  906. really Anyway,

  907. but they didn't go. It said they went

  908. everywhere except the apostles. They

  909. didn't go anywhere. So we see this and

  910. to bring it down to the end for what

  911. we've got for today, I'll finish it with

  912. this. we uh

  913. they wouldn't go anywhere. What what you

  914. what you going to do? I mean, if you

  915. know, if you if you hired somebody to

  916. come paint your house and they painted

  917. the front door knob

  918. and they came back the next day and

  919. painted painted the front door knob and

  920. they came back the next week and painted

  921. the front and you know, six months

  922. later, you've got layers of paint on the

  923. front door knob. Well, we painted it.

  924. Yeah, but you you did the painting, but

  925. you didn't paint what I told you to

  926. paint. What do you think God's going to

  927. do with that? He told us to go to every

  928. nation, every tongue, every kindred,

  929. every tribe. And they're stuck there in

  930. Israel. And a couple of them headed out

  931. to Jerusalem and Judea.

  932. But they didn't go beyond that. What's

  933. he going What's he going to do? Okay.

  934. He's not going to he's not going to

  935. start a new ministry gift. Apostle,

  936. prophet, evangelist, pastor, teacher,

  937. and obedient.

  938. Not going to start a new He's not going

  939. to start a new ministry gift. Not going

  940. to start a Not going to start a new

  941. spiritual gift.

  942. What's he going to do? How's he If this

  943. gospel doesn't go to the nations of the

  944. world, then the if it doesn't, then

  945. redemption

  946. is worthless.

  947. >> If it doesn't go to the nations of the

  948. world, then the job didn't get done.

  949. This is not just for Jerusalem. It's not

  950. just it's not just for the Jews. This is

  951. every nation, every tongue, so on. But

  952. they're not going. So what's he do? He

  953. doesn't start a new ministry gift. He

  954. doesn't start a new spiritual gift.

  955. What's he do? He starts a new church.

  956. There's only one way to fix this. The

  957. church in Jerusalem wasn't doing their

  958. job. Well, I know. Let me say this. They

  959. weren't doing the job he gave them to do

  960. concerning the nations of the world as

  961. far as we can tell. All right? I don't

  962. want to criticize them. I'm not don't

  963. want to get on bad side. But they

  964. weren't going anywhere with that. So,

  965. all of a sudden, here goes some of these

  966. guys that were running for their life.

  967. They go to a few different cities and

  968. and some of them went to a place called

  969. Antioch.

  970. They go to Antioch and they start

  971. preaching. First thing it says they be

  972. they start preaching to the Greeks.

  973. Can you believe that? They're breaking

  974. all the laws, the rules, the

  975. regulations. They're they're they're

  976. they're preaching to the Greeks and lots

  977. of people got saved. They just hadn't

  978. heard before. Nobody took time to take

  979. the good news to them. Lots of people

  980. got saved. You can find that in I

  981. believe the 11th chapter of the book of

  982. Acts. People start getting saved and so

  983. they went Jerusalem heard about this. So

  984. they send Barnabas. Okay. He goes over

  985. there. He's a good man, full of faith,

  986. full of the Holy Ghost. He's a great

  987. guy. He's a loving guy. And he goes over

  988. and he kind of takes over the work. Uh

  989. they never called him pastor. I don't

  990. know what he was called, but anyway, he

  991. just took over the work. So he's over

  992. there at this place called Antioch. Lots

  993. of people getting saved. Lots of

  994. non-Jewish people getting saved. lots of

  995. Greek speakaking people getting saved.

  996. Lots going on over there and and um

  997. I love the fact that all of a sudden he

  998. realizes he he can't do all this by

  999. himself. So, isn't it interesting if you

1000. read that you can find it for yourself?

1001. He did not go back to Jerusalem to get

  1002. help.

  1003. >> Did he?

1004. >> Some of you just looking at me. You can

1005. read it. He didn't go back to Jerusalem

1006. and say, "Man, I got to have some guy

1007. send me some help." No. What'd he do? He

1008. headed out and found a guy named Saul of

1009. Tarsus. He found what who we would later

1010. call the Apostle Paul. Why did he go

1011. after Paul instead of after Jerusalem?

1012. Why did he go after this guy out in the

1013. middle of nowhere that's already been

1014. famous for killing Christians? Why did

1015. he go find him instead of going to

1016. Jerusalem and just getting getting more

1017. of the people that already knew what he

1018. knew and believed what he believed and

1019. they got the same DNA? Why did he go

  1020. after Paul?

1021. Because this is going to be a different

1022. kind of church, different different

1023. course, a different direction, different

1024. DNA. And he's got to find somebody. The

1025. difference between Jerusalem at the

1026. time, they knew the death, burial, and

1027. resurrection of Jesus. But this guy

1028. named Saul had been caught up to the

1029. third heaven, heard things unlawful to

1030. be uttered. He he had he didn't know as

1031. much about the death, burial, and

1032. resurrection. He just knew what took

1033. place between the death and the

1034. resurrection. He knew redemption. He

1035. knew what took place in there between

1036. times. He knew what happened those three

1037. days. He saw what it was all like. And

  1038. the church needed redemption.

1039. >> So he went to find a guy that knew

1040. didn't just know the death, burial, and

1041. resurrection. Just didn't know exactly

1042. what the cross looked like. He went and

1043. found the guy that had been to the third

1044. heaven, found out what was going on and

1045. knew the gospel, knew redemption,

1046. brought him back, and they got together

1047. and they taught the church there in

1048. Antioch. They taught it for a year

  1049. straight.

1050. Can you imagine sitting under Saul of

1051. Tarsus, listening to him preach

1052. redemption to you for a solid year?

1053. >> That's when you want to take a good

  1054. notebook with you. Yeah,

1055. >> he heard things unlawful to be uttered.

1056. I don't know if he talked about that or

1057. not, but he was teaching for he had Paul

1058. and Barnabas and Saul. They're teaching

  1059. for a whole year.

1060. Teaching for teaching redemption for and

1061. you notice the next part of that, I

1062. think it's the end of verse 11 said,

  1063. "And they were called.

1064. >> What were they called there?

1065. >> First place, they were called believers.

1066. They were they were called a lot of

1067. different names, but the first place

1068. they were called Christians was in

  1069. >> Antioch. Christian means

1070. >> Christlike because all of a sudden now

1071. you got a bunch of people. They're not

1072. just good folks. They're like Jesus.

  1073. They're they're they're

1074. partakers of the gospel. They've been

1075. sitting for a year learning the death,

1076. burial, resurrection of Jesus. Learn

1077. what he did for the three days when he

1078. was we couldn't see him. His body was

1079. buried. what happened before he was

1080. raised from the dead. Those those three

1081. days, where was he? What was he doing?

1082. Paul knew that. That's why we have the

1083. Pauline epistles cuz what he knew, what

1084. he saw, what he learned. And so they're

  1085. they're learning all that. And let's

1086. finish with this. Okay, we we can go for

1087. hours on this, but anyway. Anyway, so

1088. you've got this church in Antioch, got

1089. Barnabas and Saul that I don't know what

1090. they were. I don't know what their title

1091. was. I don't know who was the leadership

  1092. of the church. I don't know. I've read

  1093. it hundreds of times. There's a lot I

1094. don't know about yet. I'm going to learn

1095. some one of these days if it's

1096. available. But then here's the part I

1097. want to finish up with. And then when

1098. God really starts stirring us about a

1099. vision for what he wants the church to

1100. be like, um, I how you get it there, we

1101. didn't know. How you get it there, we

1102. still don't know. You got it not by

1103. might, not by power, but

1104. >> by the spirit of God. It's the only way

1105. to do it is by the Holy Ghost. And you

1106. got to be connected with him.

1107. >> Gotta got to go with the flow. Got to

1108. follow the inside. But anyway, let's

1109. just go through this quickly. Some other

1110. time we'll spend more time with it. But

1111. if you go back to Acts 13:1, this is the

    Acts 13:1

  1112. church at Antioch.

  1113. They've had a Bible school for a year.

1114. That's what I call it. They got the

1115. whole church, Barnabas and Paul, Saul.

  1116. They're they're they're

1117. ministering for a solid year. Can you

1118. imagine what those people must have

1119. known? No wonder they changed the world.

1120. >> But anyway, anyway, Acts 13:1 says, "Now

    Acts 13:1

1121. there were, now that we're in the what?

1122. There's like four or five things we'll

1123. just land on real quick and then another

1124. time we'll pick up there." Acts 13:1

    Acts 13:1

1125. says, "Now there, you know, is was this

1126. just a good Bible study? Was this a good

1127. um missions outreach team?" No. Says,

1128. "Now there were," you can read it. Sound

1129. now there were now that we're in the

  1130. >> church.

  1131. >> The what?

  1132. >> Church.

  1133. >> The what?

  1134. >> Church.

  1135. >> There's a Before anything else, it was a

  1136. church. God's into churches. God's into

1137. churches. Everything else is important.

  1138. Evangelism's important. Frontier

  1139. evangelism is important. Teaching

1140. centers are important. Bible schools are

1141. those things are all vitally important.

1142. But before it was anything else, it was

1143. a church. Now there were in the

1144. >> church which was at Antioch. First thing

1145. God wanted us to know is this is the

1146. operation of this place will you know

1147. I've had people used to say well what

1148. you have working in your lives it won't

1149. work in the local church I thought

1150. you're reading the wrong verses because

1151. now there were in the

1152. >> church which was at Antioch certain now

1153. notice it let's let's see what this

1154. place looked like if we can see what the

1155. church at Antioch looked like we'll know

1156. really a lot parts of what God wants us

1157. to look like now there were in the

1158. church which was at Antioch certain

1159. prophets and teachers So in this church

  1160. first and foremost it's a supernatural

  1161. place.

1162. >> Take out the supernatural, you've just

1163. lost the church. Now they were in the

1164. church which was at Antioch. Certain

1165. >> prophets and teachers, not dry, dull,

1166. dead teachers like they had under the

1167. law. These are Holy Ghost anointed

1168. teachers. Now they were in the church

1169. which was at Antioch. Certain prophets

  1170. and teachers.

1171. Okay. And what are they doing back there

1172. now? They're not running the place. It

  1173. just there's a it's a place they could

1174. be comfortable. God began to deal with

1175. us. Make sure your church has a place

1176. where ministers can feel comfortable.

1177. Okay? It doesn't mean you're going to

1178. put them to work all the time. It means

1179. they're going to be able to be

1180. comfortable in a place like that. Maybe

1181. be used maybe be used by the Holy Ghost.

1182. But that's what that is the Antioch

1183. church. He starts out first thing there

1184. were in the church which was at Antioch

1185. certain prophets and teachers such as

1186. I'll give you well Barnabas and Saul and

1187. Simeon and so on and Saul.

1188. There are certain prophets and teachers.

1189. Now we don't know was it the whole

1190. church in there? I don't know. Were

1191. there more ministry gifts in there? I

1192. don't know. He just gave us the names of

1193. those five such as Barnabas and Simeon

1194. and Lucius ofSirene and and Manan who

1195. had been a foster brother with Herod the

1196. tark and so we've got a few names in

1197. there said uh as they now notice here's

1198. what we're looking for. You've got these

1199. gifts in there but as they ministered to

  1200. the Lord

1201. they didn't just sit in there have Bible

1202. studies. They didn't minister to each

1203. other. They didn't just run around

1204. giving each other words. No, as they

1205. ministered, what were these gifts doing?

1206. They're ministering to the Lord. This is

1207. a place. This the the the first function

1208. we can see in the church at Antioch was

1209. they ministered to the Lord. It was a

1210. place. Minister means pray, praise,

1211. worship, sing praises, linger in his

  1212. presence.

1213. >> Ministering to the Lord means you

1214. minister. Don't not even minister about

1215. him or minister about you.

1216. >> How bad it's been, how bad it's getting,

1217. what are we going to do with all the bad

1218. stuff. This is not about ministering to

1219. us or for us or through us or about us.

1220. They ministered to the Lord. As they

  1221. ministered to the Lord,

  1222. well, they're what do they're

1223. ministering to him? What happens as they

1224. ministered to the Lord? The Holy Ghost

1225. said, what did they do? They set things

1226. up where they could talk to God and he

1227. could talk back to them.

1228. >> A church that doesn't have space for God

  1229. to reply.

  1230. >> Something's wrong.

1231. >> As they ministered to the Lord and

1232. fasted, the Holy Ghost said,

  1233. >> "Man, it's a I love this. It's a church

  1234. where God can talk."

  1235. >> Yeah.

1236. >> The Holy Ghost said, "Separate unto me."

1237. It was a place of separation. God could

1238. take the best gifts he's got and could

1239. separate them and launch them to the

1240. nations of the world. didn't get any

1241. better than Barnabas and Saul. But it

1242. said as as they ministered to the Lord

1243. and fasted, the Holy Ghost said,

1244. "Separate unto me Barnabas and Saul, for

1245. the work room to He'd already called

1246. them. He just needed the church to send

1247. them. Churches ought to be sending

  1248. places.

1249. >> It ought to be a place where people can

1250. be launched into what they're called to

  1251. do."

1252. Now, there's a lot more to it than that.

1253. As they ministered to the Lord and

1254. fasted, the Holy Ghost said, "Separate

1255. unto me Barnabas and Saul for the worker

1256. and to have called them." And when

1257. they'd fasted and prayed, they laid

1258. there. It ought to be a place for the

1259. laying on of hands. The local church

1260. ought to be a place where laying on of

1261. hands is a doctrine of Christ.

1262. >> Hebrews chapter 6, you find it in there.

    Hebrews 6 chapter mention

1263. As they ministered to the to the Lord

1264. and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, you

1265. know, and and when they'd fasted and

1266. prayed, they laid their hands on them.

1267. Well, why' they do that? God's a God of

  1268. impartations.

1269. Contact of hands transmits his virtue

1270. into their beings. What are they doing?

1271. They're passing something on. These guys

1272. have got something to do. They need all

1273. the help they can get. As they laid

1274. their hands on him, as they fasted and

1275. prayed, laid their hands on them, the uh

1276. they and they launched them out. I've

1277. got to find a place to quit here. And

1278. they departed to solution and and went

1279. out. And let's just finish it with this.

1280. When they launched out of that place,

1281. they had the church behind them. Church

1282. sent them out. They've already prayed.

  1283. They've already fasted. They've already

1284. spoke to them. All that. The only thing

1285. I can think of to send them out was to

  1286. do it financially.

1287. They got to have some money to go where

  1288. they're going to go. I don't know how

1289. this all happened, but that they must

1290. have been in a generous church.

  1291. >> Well, we're there.

  1292. >> This is a generous place.

1293. >> Yes, it is. We'll touch the world over

1294. the how however much time we got left.

1295. As they ministered to the Lord and

1296. fasted, the Holy Ghost said separate.

1297. They did that and they launched him out

1298. of there and they be and they being sent

1299. forth by the Holy Ghost departed to

1300. solution headed out there. Well,

  1301. I don't know. I've studied the best I

1302. can and best I can tell is in the days

1303. to come the Apostle Paul was responsible

1304. for starting 20 churches and 20 nations.

1305. You know, you can't do a lot better than

  1306. that. in 101 15 years started 20

1307. churches. No internet, no FaceTime,

1308. >> no Tik Tok. They He didn't have

1309. anything. He didn't have anything except

  1310. the anointing of God.

  1311. >> Started started 20 churches. Wrote

1312. letters. Start started the Pauline

1313. epistles. Wrote letters to the churches.

1314. Changed our lives. It's what we live in

1315. today. Anyway, we got to get stopped

1316. here. We could go on for hours, but

1317. anyway, if you read the 13th chapter of

1318. the book of Acts, the first three, four

1319. chapters, you'll get a general idea of

1320. what God wants us to look like. And I

1321. will finish it with this phrase.

1322. What was it all about? Separate Barnabas

1323. and Saul. He didn't send everybody out,

1324. just sent those two out. Separate

1325. Barnabas and Saul for the work to I've

1326. called them. When they fasted and

1327. prayed, they laid their hands on him,

1328. sent him forth. They being sent forth by

1329. the Holy Ghost departed to solution.

1330. some and in in the years to come they

1331. started over 20 churches in difficult

1332. regions beyond. Everything was about

  1333. planting churches.

1334. Everything was about planting churches.

1335. Everything was about It wasn't just

1336. about having a nice local church. That's

1337. great. Yeah, you need that. It wasn't

1338. just about having a nice local church.

1339. It was about planting churches in the

1340. nations of the world. That's what the

1341. call was all about. That's why God went

1342. so far out of his way to make sure the

1343. anointing of God got on them to equip

1344. them to launch them out planting

  1345. churches.

1346. I can't say a whole lot more about that

  1347. right now because I don't know a whole

1348. lot more. But I do know one thing God

1349. stirred in our hearts and back 1997

1350. of the things that he stirred on the

1351. inside of us with the day the day would

1352. come when we'd be able to plant Antioch

1353. churches in different regions of the

1354. world. And I believe it. Somebody says,

1355. "How you going to do it?" But I haven't

  1356. got that part.

  1357. I I I got the what, I just haven't got

1358. the how. So, let's all stand to our

  1359. feet.

1360. Father, in the name of Jesus, thank you

1361. so much for this. Yes. Thank you, Lord.

1362. Thank you for this service. What's being

1363. done, what will be done, what's going to

1364. take place, what shall take place, your

1365. will, your plan, your purpose in the

1366. lives of all of us. Father, I thank you.

1367. Thank you for this place spiritually and

1368. m and uh and even numerically. Thank you

1369. Lord. This place will grow and grow and

1370. grow and grow and grow. Not just grow in

1371. this city but grow in the nations of the

1372. world. Thank you father for raising up

1373. this house for what you have for it to

1374. do. And we're grateful for it. We thank

  1375. you in Jesus name.

  1376. Hallelujah.

1377. >> And while heads are bowed and eyes are

  1378. closed, Christians are praying.

1379. If you're in here today and you say,

  1380. "Pastor Mark, I I don't know. I I'm just

  1381. not right with God. I I you know, I I've

1382. been to church or I haven't been to

1383. church. I never been saved or I got

1384. saved at one time, but I'm just away

1385. from God, and I want to get that right

1386. before I leave here today. Would you

  1387. pray for me?"

  1388. There's nothing like knowing you're away

1389. from God. That's a horrible thing. And

1390. on the other side, there's nothing like

1391. knowing you're connected with God.

1392. Hallelujah. that you're walking with

1393. him, upright before him, in good place

1394. with him. If you're right with God, not

1395. I'm not saying you cut somebody off in

1396. traffic this morning. Maybe you did,

  1397. maybe you didn't. I don't know. But if

1398. you can say, "I'm just I'm just not

1399. right with God. I'm not right with God.

  1400. It's not his fault. I'm just I'm just

1401. away from him." I've been there. A lot

1402. of you have been there. But once you've

1403. been there, you don't ever want to go

  1404. there again.

1405. If that's you, wave your hand at me. I

1406. want to pray for you. I'm not going to

1407. embarrass you. I want to pray for you.

1408. Anybody here? Pray, Pastor Mark, pray

1409. for me. I want to I want to get my life

1410. back right with God. Maybe you've never

1411. been there. Maybe you've been there

  1412. before.

1413. I was there when I was in elementary

1414. school. I remember [music] it walking up

1415. right before God. By the time I got to

  1416. high school, I didn't know if I even

1417. cared or not. By the time I got to

  1418. college, I wasn't sure if I really even

1419. was sure I believed in him. I mean, I

1420. had a lot of questions. Everything got

1421. messed up. Bad friends, bad music,

  1422. bad stuff.

1423. If that's you, wave your hand at me. I

1424. want to pray for you.

1425. Anyone here, just slip your hand up. Not

1426. going to embarrass you. Just want to

  1427. pray for you.

1428. Hallelujah. All right. Father, in the

1429. name of Jesus, we thank you right now.

1430. Thank you for what you've done this

1431. morning and what you're doing this

1432. morning. And we thank you for what's

1433. coming in the days ahead. We thank you

1434. in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Amen.

1435. Hallelujah. Praise God. We got one more

  1436. thing to do.

1437. You going to take that? You want me to

1438. take that or? No, you want me to take

1439. that? Okay. I'm going to squeeze this

1440. into briefly. Um, Pastor Jan and I have

1441. been, we've gone to the nations, like I

  1442. said, I don't know, last I knew about

1443. 250 trips to the nations, give or take a

  1444. hundred, I don't know. But, um, been a

1445. lot of places, been to 50ome nations, I

  1446. think. But, um,

  1447. there's a nation we've never been to.

1448. People tried to get us to go for 40

  1449. years. I said, I don't want to go. No, I

  1450. don't want to go there. I couldn't tell

1451. you. I don't want If you want to go,

1452. talk to Joe. I'm not I don't want to go,

1453. you know, just just no. It's just And uh

1454. people kept saying, "You need to take a

1455. you know, people said go with us. Go on

1456. a tour group with us to Israel." I said,

  1457. "I don't do tour buses.

  1458. Just doesn't work for me. I'm a hermit.

1459. I'll head for the woods. I'm just not

1460. going to ride a tour bus." And not that

1461. that's wrong or bad, just not good for

1462. me. So anyway, make a long story short,

1463. people talked to us for years about

1464. going. had a lot of friends that took

1465. trips, took tours, took churches, did

  1466. all that. Great.

1467. And uh all I know is it was okay until

  1468. we got to praying.

1469. And we got to praying what, a year and a

1470. half ago, something like that.

1471. Two years ago, we don't we don't get in

1472. a rush. two years ago, we get to praying

1473. and as we'd prayed, it was kind of like

1474. when we prayed back in the late 90s and

1475. all of a sudden there was a church. We

1476. got to praying and all of a sudden we're

1477. we're looking out on the streets of

  1478. Jerusalem and I'm going, I don't know

1479. who that is, but that is not me. You

1480. know, I'm I'm you know, they they they

1481. shoot bombs at each other over there. I

1482. you know, I've been around bad places,

  1483. but I I don't think that's us.

1484. But it wouldn't go away. And it kept

1485. getting bigger and bigger and bigger. So

1486. all of a sudden we we contacted Joe. I

  1487. said, "If we're going, we're go if we're

1488. going we're going with Joe Morris.

1489. That's just all there is to it. I'm not

1490. going to go with anybody else. Not

1491. interested in going with anybody else."

1492. And uh so we had a trip all planned and

1493. uh I think it was early maybe early

1494. October, year and a half ago.

1495. October. Well, we had were ready to go

1496. just before that. And I'm I'm walking

1497. past a TV in a in a hotel. uh cafe thing

1498. downstairs. And I look at the TV and

1499. they're showing Israel being bombed by

1500. Hamas and a war broke out in the 7th of

1501. October. Yeah. A year and a half ago,

1502. whatever it was, and Tel Aviv airport

1503. was shut down. We had to cancel our

1504. tickets. So, here we are two years

1505. later. All of a sudden, it came back in

1506. like a fury. And it just hasn't gone

1507. away. So, we contact I mean short

  1508. suddenly notice.

1509. So, we got hold of Call Joe. Like I

1510. said, if you don't know, Call Joe.

1511. >> If you're around here much, you know

1512. that there's the hand of God's on on Joe

1513. Morse for many things, but one of them

1514. is one of them is what's going in the

1515. Middle East. And so, we we called him

1516. up, got him on the phone, said, "We're

1517. thinking about going. You want to go?"

1518. He said, "You know, I've got two weeks

1519. in uh I got two weeks in February." And

1520. he said, "I got nothing booked in there.

1521. That just doesn't happen." So, yeah,

1522. let's go. So, we leave tomorrow morning

  1523. at 10:30. We're heading for uh we're

1524. we're going to go Yeah. [applause]

1525. And so, uh we're going to we're going to

1526. spend we're we're taking two parts of

1527. the trip. We're going to spend half the

1528. trip in Israel in Jerusalem. The other

1529. half we're coming back through, um uh

1530. Athens, Greece. Uh we used to have a

1531. school there. We used to do meetings

1532. there. Amazing place. So, uh we're going

1533. to split it half and half. We're going

1534. to start out in Jerusalem and we're

1535. going to spend about five or six days

1536. there, something like that. And then

1537. we're going to come back through Greece

1538. and spend about four days there and then

1539. we're going to come back home. So

  1540. go ahead.

1541. >> So when we're in obviously when we get

1542. to Jerusalem, we're going to be with the

  1543. kois

1544. >> at our firebase Israel and um some

1545. interesting things have happened there.

1546. Even just this last week, I'm telling

1547. you uh things that they've been waiting

1548. for for years uh have taken place this

1549. last week. they were uh without going

1550. into it, but God is moving in that

1551. nation. So, but we're going with Joe.

1552. Joe is going with us. [music] Whatever.

1553. We're going with you. We're going to

1554. follow your lead, brother. So, the last

1555. couple weeks, we've been calling them

1556. every day. Okay. Do you have still have

1557. a piece about going? Things are getting

  1558. a little um

  1559. >> Iran. [music]

1560. >> Busy over there in Iran. Yes. So, uh but

1561. you know what? We have a peace. All

1562. three of us. We said if any of us don't

1563. we lose our peace, we're not going. I

1564. [music] don't plan to spend my time in a

1565. bomb shelter. So, um, but we all have

1566. peace about it. We know that we're going

1567. with an entourage of angels.

  1568. >> Sure.

1569. >> Encamped around about us. No fear here.

1570. >> So, um, so Joe, you come up and we're

1571. going to do what he just preached about.

1572. We're going to be sent out. Yeah.

  1573. >> From this place.

1574. >> Um, [music] and so Joe will come. We had

1575. asked Larry and Angela if you guys will

1576. come um and pray over us. Clar and

1577. Angela, for those of you who are maybe

1578. newer to the church, we had schools for

1579. many, many years throughout the world.

1580. And they did um one of our first schools

1581. in the Czech Republic and then they did

1582. uh moved to Poland and they established

  1583. a church, transitioned into a church.

1584. And so come over here, y'all. Why y'all

1585. so far away? So where do you want us?

1586. You We just want you to do what you

  1587. >> It's up to you.

1588. >> You tell us where to go.

  1589. >> Yeah.

  1590. >> Joe, ask Joe.

  1591. >> Joe knows.

1592. >> Joe knows. If you don't know, ask Joe.

1593. >> Turn around. You want to face the crowd?

  1594. >> Yeah, let's go.

  1595. >> Okay.

1596. >> So, Father, in the name of Jesus, as a

1597. [music] church body, as a family here,

1598. we we surround our pastors and Joe with

1599. faith [music] and love. And we thank you

1600. that the angels encamp round about them,

1601. that they should not even dash their

1602. foot against the stone. [music] We thank

  1603. you, Father, that they'll know they'll

1604. be at the right place at the right time

1605. and [music] there'll be no harm to them

1606. and they'll have great grace upon

1607. [music] them, Father. They'll know where

1608. to be at the right time. And we just

1609. [music] thank you, Father, that it

  1610. impartations

1611. from these nations and they'll take

1612. impartations into these nations. Father,

1613. we thank you. We thank you. They know

  1614. what to do. [music]

1615. that you will speak to them in a way

  1616. that they'll it'll be

  1617. they'll know beyond a shadow of a doubt

1618. the [music] things that supposed to

1619. transpire, Father. And we just thank you

1620. for it in Jesus' name.

1621. >> And we thank you, Father God, for divine

  1622. utterance in prayer. [music]

1623. Thank you, Father God, that they will

1624. step right into a flow of prayer, Father

1625. God, that will take them into some

1626. deeper places even than they've not been

1627. before. But thank you, Father God, that

1628. air this trip is over. They will know

1629. things they did not know before. They

1630. will know in greater detail the where,

1631. the [music] when, the how, with whom. It

1632. will be crystal clear. And [music] so,

1633. Father, we thank you for divine

1634. protection over every piece of equipment

1635. that they're on, every airport that they

1636. enter, every vehicle that they take.

1637. Father, thank you in the name of Jesus

  1638. for impartations.

1639. And so, as a church body now, we send

1640. them forth in the fullness of the

1641. blessing of Christ in Jesus name. Thank

1642. you, Lord. Thank you, Father.

1643. Thank you Lord. Thank you Lord. Thank

1644. you Lord. Thank you Lord. Thank you

1645. Lord. Thank you father. Thank you

1646. father. Thank you father. Thank you

1647. Lord. Thank you Lord. Thank you Lord.

1648. Thank you Lord. Thank you for father.

1649. Thank you in Jesus name.

  1650. >> Hallelujah.

  1651. >> Mighty mighty mighty.

  1652. >> Yes.

1653. In Jesus name. And thank you that

  1654. they'll be a blessing and encouragement

1655. to the kois as well.

1656. >> Yeah. in Jesus name.

1657. >> Do you have anything? Yeah, you're good.

  1658. Good. Okay.

1659. Okay. We [music] we appreciate your

1660. prayers and we appreciate your faith.

1661. Um, and I don't say that lightly. It

1662. means the world to us. We traveled for

1663. years to the nations of the world

  1664. without a local church

  1665. family

1666. holding the ropes for us. It's a world

1667. of difference. World of difference to be

1668. able to go and know know there's folks

1669. that are keep they got their antennas up

1670. and they're standing with us makes a

1671. world. So, thank you. Thank you. Thank

  1672. you. We're g we'll come back with good

1673. reports. And as we've always said,

1674. whenever we go, whenever he sends us

1675. places, we make sure that you are more

1676. than well taken care of.

1677. >> Thus, Annette Caps will be here on next

  1678. Sunday. [music]

1679. We'll be in Israel, but Annette, so make

1680. sure you're here. Also, this Wednesday

1681. night, we have Robert going to be

1682. covering the pullpit. So, come here,

1683. Robert. And then the following Wednesday

1684. night will be Pastor Bruce.

1685. >> So, um, you guys are going to be in

1686. great hands. We have full confidence in

1687. God has sent and and um you'll be taken

1688. care of well taken care of and then

1689. we'll be back. We'll only miss one

1690. Sunday. So we come back on the 20th. So

1691. um thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

  1692. Thank you. Thank you.

1693. >> We love and appreciate you. You mean the

1694. world to us. Thank you.

1695. Aren't you glad you came today?

1696. Wow. Don't you love our pastors?

1697. What an example, huh? Yeah. Let's just

  1698. give them
