  1. Jesus said, "Let not your heart be

  2. troubled." In John 14:1, "Let not your

    John 14:1

  3. heart be troubled. Believe in God,

  4. believe also in me.

  5. In my father's house are many mansions."

  6. You know, those mansions aren't really

  7. going to matter when we get there. Come

  8. on, thank God. But, you know, when we

  9. get there, he's all that's going to

  10. matter.

  11. >> If it were not so, listen to this very

  12. carefully. If it were not so, I would

  13. have told you. I go to prepare a place

  14. for you.

  15. And if I go and prepare a place for you,

  16. I will come again to receive you to

  17. myself.

  18. That where I am, there you may be also.

  19. I I would endeavor to say everything

  20. that the Lord Jesus did when he stepped

  21. out of time, out into time and space

  22. and became a baby and grew up as a man,

  23. as a human being, and took all of our

  24. sin, all of our sickness. Come on,

  25. somebody. All of the persecution, all of

  26. the oh, chastisement for our peace. He

  27. took everything.

  28. Huh? took it to hell, paid the ultimate

  29. price for it, came up out of there

  30. victorious. Amen. Why? So that we could

  31. be with him.

  32. Huh? So that where I am, you can be.

  33. You ever thought about that?

  34. Yeah. I thank you, Lord. Everything

  35. you've done for me, for this time on the

  36. earth, I'm so grateful, man. I I know

  37. what he's done. You know what he's done.

  38. He's so good. He's met our needs. Come

  39. on. He's even paid our bills at times.

  40. Come on. He's healed our bodies. In

  41. fact, we can walk in health because of

  42. it. Listen, he he's he's done so many

  43. good things. He's put us at the right

  44. place at the right time. You know, all

  45. this stuff is so good and I'm so

  46. grateful. But there's something more

  47. important. And that's the place he's

  48. prepared for us to be with him for all

  49. eternity. His heart motive is for us to

  50. be with him forever. That's how much he

  51. loves us.

  52. Oh man, I think we all need to think

  53. about that a little more some.

  54. He said, "Let not your heart be

  55. troubled."

  56. You know, so many things in this life

  57. just trouble, trouble, trouble.

  58. It's time to trouble the troubler.

  59. >> I know he's brought trouble to my life.

  60. [snorts]

  61. But I'm gonna give him some trouble. In

  62. fact, right now I'm giving him some. He

  63. don't like any of it. He don't like it

  64. when I'm in my prayer room and I'm

  65. praying and spending time with God on my

  66. face. He hates that. He hates it when

  67. I'm in the word and I'm I'm studying

  68. God's word and and I'm praying for

  69. tonight's sermon. Oh, he hates it. You

  70. know why? Because God's going to move

  71. and touch somebody's life and he don't

  72. like that. Well, too bad. How sad.

  73. because I get what I believe

  74. >> and I've already believed it and I've

  75. already expected something good to

  76. happen for somebody in here tonight

  77. >> because that's what it's all about. I'm

  78. just the vessel but the master's in the

  79. house and he wants to touch somebody.

  80. That's what he does. I said that's what

  81. he does. He touches people.

  82. Man, I don't know where we're

  83. Thank you, Lord.

  84. You know, I'm learning as I do this

  85. more. You know, there's something about

  86. that room back there.

  87. There is something about that room back

  88. there. And uh but you know, I'm finally

  89. getting to a place, and I'm just going

  90. to be a little transparent here, that I

  91. I just don't get so concerned anymore

  92. when I'm looking at my notes that I've

  93. spent weeks and weeks on meditating and

  94. I'm going,

  95. "Uh oh,

  96. what is that? Where are we going here? I

  97. don't even know what this means."

  98. But he does.

  99. He does. So we see here in in this first

  100. verse of John chapter 14, let not your

    John 14 chapter mention

  101. heart be troubled. Believe in God,

  102. believe also in me. And then he goes on

  103. to teach his disciples that God is me

  104. and I am God.

  105. You need to believe this. They were so

  106. hung up on the human side of Jesus that

  107. they were missing the supernatural Jesus

  108. who was God on the inside. And so they

  109. were they they kept questioning some

  110. things here. But then we get back down

  111. here to verse 27. And I let me just

  112. start at verse 26. And I want to read

  113. this to you. It says this, "But the

  114. helper, the Holy Spirit, whom [snorts]

  115. the Father will send in my name, he will

  116. teach you all things and bring to your

  117. remembrance all things that I said to

  118. you.

  119. Peace

  120. I leave you." That means peace is

  121. available, somebody.

  122. >> That means it's available.

  123. >> Peace I leave you.

  124. My peace I give to my peace I give to

  125. you not as the world gives you know the

  126. world's peace is very temporary you know

  127. something good may happen and it's like

  128. yeah oh I feel so much better and then

  129. you know something else come along but

  130. Jesus peace is eternal it comes up from

  131. on the inside of our heart it's the joy

  132. of the Lord down on the inside and when

  133. we just look on the inside guess what

  134. here comes peace it doesn't matter what

  135. we're facing

  136. >> all Right?

  137. [snorts] Then he goes on to say, "Let

  138. not your heart be troubled, neither let

  139. it be afraid." It's amazing he said this

  140. twice in the same chapter.

  141. And one thing that I'm seeing in this

  142. chapter is this is a verse that we've

  143. been sitting on for some time here. And

  144. that's verse 12. Most assuredly I say to

  145. you, he who believes, let's just stop

  146. there for a second, you know.

  147. >> [clears throat]

  148. >> We can say yes, I believe.

  149. But do we?

  150. Jesus said,"Most

  151. assurely I say to you, he who believes

  152. in me, the works that I do, he will do

  153. also."

  154. I've been [clears throat] challenged on

  155. this.

  156. The Lord has been challenging me on

  157. this.

  158. Because the troubler brings tribulation

  159. to keep you from doing these works.

  160. If he can keep us in the natural just

  161. like the disciples kept getting stuck in

  162. the natural side of Jesus, right? Not

  163. realizing that he is God.

  164. The troubles of this life,

  165. the enemy's, he's real good at it.

  166. In fact, sometimes we're real good at it

  167. in our own life

  168. because it's not the trouble that's the

  169. issue. It's what we do with it when it

  170. comes because it's coming,

  171. right? What are we doing with it? That's

  172. just the question. What are we doing

  173. with it? But Jesus said, "He who

  174. believes in me,

  175. the works I do,

  176. he will do.

  177. Most assuredly I say to you, he who

  178. believes in me,

  179. the works I do, he will do also. And

  180. greater works than these he will do

  181. because I go to my father. And then he

  182. goes on to say this.

  183. Now, now you need to really think with

  184. me here for a second that this is very

  185. powerful words. This is the words of our

  186. Lord and Master. These words are eternal

  187. words. These words are full of power.

  188. He upholds all things by the word of

  189. his.

  190. These are powerful words. He goes on to

  191. say this. He said, "Whatever you ask in

  192. my name." You know, that has to be

  193. connected to his works.

  194. This ain't going, "Well, I need a BMW."

  195. Lord, give me a BMW. I ask for BMW. No,

  196. that's not what he's talking about here.

  197. HE'S TALKING ABOUT THE WORKS.

  198. You know, as I was meditating on this, I

  199. started to think about some things and

  200. and I'll tell you a quick story of the

  201. pond. Everybody want a pond story? So,

  202. you know, we just had that cold weather

  203. come through and and one afternoon I

  204. went out to the pond and the water was

  205. just fine. Nothing was frozen,

  206. everything. And I had a what fountain

  207. out there and I'm like, "Ah,

  208. it'll be okay."

  209. And then I got a text from mom

  210. [laughter]

  211. and everything was froze.

  212. And I felt that

  213. because it's a brand new fountain, man.

  214. It's nice. And you know, you can't if it

  215. freezes up and bursts, it's it's not

  216. going to be any good. So, guess what? I

  217. had to put on my

  218. But, you know, I remember taking a big

  219. old rock and I'm going to say, "Oh, it

  220. can't be that thick."

  221. And I threw it out there right by the

  222. fountain, you know, out in the middle.

  223. And it just bounced.

  224. And I remember Pastor Mark talking

  225. about,

  226. you know, when you walk and you step out

  227. in faith, sometimes you go, remember

  228. when he was back in Michigan, you just

  229. you just put your foot on that ice a

  230. little bit and then you start to just

  231. see see if it's good, if it's right, you

  232. know, and you take another step, you

  233. know.

  234. Yeah. Catch what I'm saying there.

  235. Anyway, so I had to get that out of

  236. there. So, I had to put on the the big

  237. boots

  238. and I had to break the ice.

  239. If I was going to get that out of there,

  240. I had to break the ice all the way to

  241. it. You know, the And it's cold.

  242. And I don't like cold. I'm originally

  243. from California, you know, so I'm still

  244. not used to any of it. But I'm breaking

  245. this ice and I'm breaking this ice and I

  246. break that ice all the way. You see,

  247. sometimes when we see somebody that's

  248. sick, we got to break the ice.

  249. If you believe,

  250. if you believe, you will do these works.

  251. Belief will make you take a step.

  252. That's so good. I'm preaching myself

  253. happy. It will make you take a step. If

  254. you believe something, you can't be held

  255. still.

  256. I knew that that fountain was coming out

  257. of that pond. So, I had to take some

  258. hard steps to get it out. But guess

  259. what? It came out and it's in good

  260. shape. Praise God. Thank you, Jesus.

  261. You know, one of the things that trouble

  262. me is sick people.

  263. If I see somebody in a wheelchair, I'm

  264. troubled.

  265. because uh we know who's behind that

  266. and I really don't want to see him in

  267. there.

  268. And the biggest thing that I've dealt

  269. with in my life

  270. was what if something don't happen

  271. or if I go over and pray with them or is

  272. it going to make them feel bad or

  273. uncomfortable

  274. or if I would just be led by the spirit?

  275. Because see, the spirit of God's going

  276. to take you places you're not

  277. comfortable with. If you think it's all

  278. going to be an easy little, oh yes, it's

  279. just a nice little glide. No, he is

  280. going to take you places. It's not

  281. comfortable. You'll have to step into

  282. something that's going to challenge your

  283. faith. And I think about guys like Smith

  284. Wigglesworth who did not care. He was

  285. not moved when he commanded something.

  286. He did not give an option to another

  287. answer.

  288. >> This is going to happen because I know

  289. who is in me and I know I can do these

  290. works because I believe and he said if I

  291. believe in him, I'm going to do those

  292. works.

  293. >> What keeps us from getting to that

  294. point? Did you see that?

  295. spit. [laughter]

  296. I wasn't looking at you, though, so

  297. we're good.

  298. You know what I mean, though?

  299. You know what I mean?

  300. You know, it's one thing to see somebody

  301. hurting and then just get all in your

  302. heart and go, "Oh, man, I just hate

  303. that."

  304. But the love of God has been shed abroad

  305. in our heart by the Holy Ghost.

  306. The greater one is on the inside of us.

  307. The same spirit that raised Jesus

  308. straight out of the grave to the place

  309. of all victory.

  310. Come on, somebody.

  311. So maybe it's time that we as believers

  312. in the house and we start breaking some

  313. ice.

  314. >> Let's just believe.

  315. Be led.

  316. be led, but don't don't let being led be

  317. an excuse to not do something

  318. because you're saying in your, "Well,

  319. I'm just not led."

  320. We all know his voice. Jesus said it in

  321. John chapter 10, "My sheep know my

    John 10 chapter mention

  322. voice."

  323. And guess his will is what? To heal. to

  324. set free, to deliver. And right here, it

  325. tells us it's his will for us to do his

  326. works,

  327. to do his works. I'm excited about it.

  328. I'm excited about it. Now, again, when I

  329. say be led, I'm not going to just jump

  330. out like Smith Wigglesworth and start

  331. punching people and, you know, I'm just

  332. not going to do that.

  333. But I'm going to let the compassion of

  334. Jesus Christ that blows up on the inside

  335. of my heart move me to walk through

  336. whatever I got to get through on this

  337. side and all the troubles I got to deal

  338. with to get to that place so that person

  339. can be free.

  340. >> That's what we're to do. We are the body

  341. of Christ. That's what Jesus did. He

  342. went around teaching.

  343. >> He went around

  344. >> and he went around

  345. We know it. He's so good to us.

  346. >> So, I find it interesting here that

  347. right sandwiched between, "Do not let

  348. your heart be troubled." We see this

  349. scripture saying, "He who believes in me

  350. will do the works that I do." You know,

  351. it's the troubles of life

  352. that hinder our faith.

  353. >> [snorts]

  354. >> True.

  355. There was a time in my life I was

  356. walking through something pretty

  357. difficult for me. And um

  358. and it seemed like that the trouble

  359. wasn't just one here and one down the

  360. road. It just seemed like they were

  361. coming, [laughter]

  362. right? They just kept coming.

  363. And I didn't if Oh, I just wish I would

  364. have been here then and know what I know

  365. now. But thank God he gets us through.

  366. Amen. But but

  367. so many things that you you're getting

  368. hit with a and all of it is a ploy

  369. because the very power of God is on the

  370. inside of you

  371. to overcome all of that. The very power

  372. of God is on the inside of you to change

  373. the circumstances in other people's

  374. lives.

  375. And the enemy doesn't like it.

  376. He don't care if you go to heaven. He

  377. just want to kill you because he knows

  378. how powerful you are.

  379. Right. But let me say that one more

  380. time. He He doesn't care.

  381. He just He He just rather kill you

  382. so that power is not released from you.

  383. And if he can keep you, listen, you're

  384. really dead if you're getting

  385. overwhelmed by tri trials and

  386. tribulations and you're allowing those

  387. in your life. Listen, we do have a

  388. responsibility in this one.

  389. Guess it's okay for me to go here

  390. over in uh I'll just let Jesus do the

  391. talking. How about that? Over here in

  392. John chapter 11, we see the story of

    John 11 chapter mention

  393. Lazarus.

  394. such an awesome, inspiring story and

  395. it's great. It's powerful. There's so

  396. much in this chapter that you could

  397. probably spend weeks and weeks and weeks

  398. just teaching on it. I couldn't, but

  399. somebody that's a real good teacher

  400. could.

  401. I could probably preach pretty good for

  402. a while. But but there's so much in

  403. here. But we see here

  404. in this chapter,

  405. Jesus really shows us how to over

  406. overcome trouble and what you do to do

  407. that.

  408. It's really good. Right here in verse

  409. 32, it says this, "When Mary," this is

  410. uh John chapter 11. When Mary came where

    John 11 chapter mention

  411. Jesus was, now this is Jesus is already

  412. there, you know, he's already spent two

  413. days away and then he's already there

  414. where where uh Lazarus is and the family

  415. is and all the people are. And it says

  416. this, "Then when Mary came to where

  417. Jesus was and saw him, she fell down at

  418. his feet, saying to him, Lord, if you

  419. had been here, my brother would have not

  420. died.

  421. Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping

  422. and the Jews who came with her weeping,

  423. he groaned in his spirit and was

  424. troubled.

  425. It's amazing. This is the same exact

  426. word that is in John chapter 14 verse

    John 14 chapter mention

  427. one and John chapter 14 uh verse 27.

    John 14 chapter mention

  428. This word troubled. It's the same exact

  429. word.

  430. Yes.

  431. Hallelujah.

  432. >> This word troubled means to shake. You

  433. ever been shaken by anything?

  434. Means to trouble. It means to disqu. You

  435. know, if you go over to Psalm 42,

  436. you find you find David's telling his

  437. soul, why are you disqued within me? Get

  438. up and praise the Lord.

  439. >> We did a little bit of that earlier,

  440. didn't we?

  441. >> That's what we do.

  442. How about this? To unsettle. You ever

  443. been unsettled about anything? Have we

  444. ever been unsettled? How about

  445. perplexed? How about anxious? How about

  446. a little bit more tr transparency?

  447. Um I remember the first time I got asked

  448. to do to do announcements.

  449. Even even better than that, the first

  450. time I got asked to speak, that's a

  451. whole story in itself

  452. because of the honor I have

  453. because of the fear of the God I have,

  454. [laughter]

  455. you know, and and and and those things.

  456. And and and it was a process for me to

  457. get up here because I don't take it

  458. lightly.

  459. I mean, I I there are times I try not to

  460. look this direction just to get through,

  461. but because I honor and I want to do it

  462. right, you know, I just want to be a

  463. blessing. I'm here to help, hold up

  464. their hands and help my pastors. I mean,

  465. that's my heart. That's all I care

  466. about, you know. But I had to deal with

  467. some other things. I was being troubled

  468. every time almost for for some time.

  469. And then the Lord helped me see it. Why,

  470. Robert?

  471. Robert's son, not Daniel's son, Robert's

  472. son. Why? Why are you Why are you even

  473. thinking about that? Am I with you? Am I

  474. in you?

  475. Yes, sir. What are you doing? Do you

  476. believe or not?

  477. You know, sometimes it's good to have

  478. that talk with the Lord and say, "Oh,

  479. yeah. Yeah, maybe I say saying one

  480. thing, but really right here it's a

  481. little different."

  482. You know, the children of Israel, God

  483. said this. He said, "What? Their lips

  484. worship me, but their hearts are far

  485. from me." And so, you know, I'm thankful

  486. for that. But we see here that Jesus was

  487. troubled and he did something about it.

  488. And and we all have to do something

  489. about it. And I guess that that might be

  490. a little bit of where I'm going tonight.

  491. You know, um if we do our part, oh man,

  492. he's so faithful to do his.

  493. And the one thing that will help us do

  494. our part is to always think about others

  495. first. It's what he says to do. Love,

  496. love, love, love is the key to

  497. everything, right? In fact, over in 16,

  498. John chapter 16, he said, "Love your

    John 16 chapter mention

  499. neighbor. Love your brothers. Love them

  500. no matter what. Just love. Let love come

  501. out.

  502. Because when love is there, that means

  503. you're more concerned about them than

  504. your little tribulation or your little

  505. trial. Because really, it's little. To

  506. God, all of these things we walk through

  507. are little to him.

  508. Yes, he loves us and he cares and he

  509. doesn't like it when we go through

  510. things. You know, he doesn't put those

  511. things on us.

  512. He doesn't. I know he didn't put what

  513. was on me on me,

  514. but I know who helped me. And I know who

  515. got me over. Come on, somebody.

  516. >> So Jesus, it says here, let me get back

  517. to my place. Jesus says here, verse 33,

  518. therefore when Jesus saw her weeping and

  519. the Jews that came with him with her

  520. were weeping, he groaned in his spirit.

  521. This word groan meaned indignation. It

  522. was an anger aroused by something that

  523. was unjust, unworthy, or just plain mean

  524. that was going on on the inside. He was

  525. ticked.

  526. In fact, I like to call it the God kind

  527. of mad

  528. because this was an attack of the evil

  529. one on his friend and his friend his

  530. friend's family and all these people

  531. that love this man and it didn't make

  532. him happy.

  533. He wasn't happy about it. So down deep

  534. he groaned. He was probably travailing

  535. in prayer. I believe he was this is all

  536. a story of prayer as well here. He was

  537. praying.

  538. He was praying.

  539. He was talking to the father through

  540. this. He was praying.

  541. He was talking to the father through

  542. this.

  543. He was praying.

  544. He was praying. He He wasn't talking to

  545. his disciples about it. He didn't call

  546. his mom. What do I do about Listen, you

  547. hearing me.

  548. He was praying.

  549. He was talking to his father.

  550. And he was troubled deep in his spirit.

  551. He was he was troubled. He was troubled

  552. and he was shaken

  553. because he was a man. He was the son of

  554. man.

  555. This is one of the areas he took for us.

  556. just one of many, many, many. But right

  557. here, we see that when he took this

  558. trouble and what he did with it shows us

  559. exactly what we can do

  560. >> and how we do it. Amen.

  561. So it goes on to say here, let me just

  562. read on a little bit. Says this,

  563. he was troubled and he said, where have

  564. you laid him?

  565. Where have you laid him? You know, the

  566. first thing I think about is first of

  567. all, he's praying. He's being led by the

  568. spirit. He's always led by the spirit.

  569. He's very troubled. He's very upset in

  570. one respect. Probably on the God side,

  571. the God mad kind, you know, and then on

  572. the other side, he's troubled as a man.

  573. He's troubled.

  574. And this time, he's just saying, "What

  575. next? What next?" You know, he took a

  576. step. Where you laid him? Uhoh. That

  577. opens up another door. What's this mean?

  578. What's this mean?

  579. Then he goes on to say this. He says,

  580. uh, they said to him, Lord, come and

  581. see. And Jesus wept. Here we go. We see

  582. another side of the man. This word wept

  583. here means. So, let me say this for

  584. anybody in the house. Here's

  585. [clears throat] a study tool for you. If

  586. you ever need to know what a word means

  587. in the Greek, all you have to do is go

  588. to Rick Ren [laughter] Rick Rener's

  589. books. Everybody knows that, right? So

  590. good. But this word actually means

  591. [clears throat]

  592. he cried out loud. He burst into tears

  593. and sobbed. And it's evident because it

  594. goes on to say uh that the Jews said,

  595. "See how he loved him."

  596. This word troubled actually means it can

  597. cause grief.

  598. But all of us know that when you go

  599. through grief, you don't hold on to

  600. that. If somebody steps over to heaven,

  601. you may grieve, but you don't hold on to

  602. that. That that can turn into some bad

  603. stuff, right? You we we don't do that.

  604. We don't sit in our grief CUZ WE KNOW.

  605. >> I SAID, "WE KNOW."

  606. And some of them said, "Could this man

  607. who opened the eyes of the blind also

  608. have kept this man from dying?

  609. This is your friendly family

  610. or your neighbor or your worker that has

  611. no faith,

  612. right? Trying to spread a little bit of

  613. that unbelief so that you hear it and

  614. then you start what? Questioning.

  615. Questioning.

  616. Then it goes on to say, ' Then Jesus

  617. again groaning in himself.

  618. He came to the tomb

  619. and it was a cave and a stone laid

  620. against it. And Jesus said, "Take away

  621. the stone." This was momentous. This was

  622. words coming straight out of his spirit.

  623. I believe he was being led by the spirit

  624. into this place. Come on, somebody. This

  625. trouble was not going to have the

  626. victory. The troubler was not going to

  627. win this one. And he believed. He

  628. believed number one who he was. And he

  629. believed who was in him. And he said,

  630. and he even said this to the disciples,

  631. even if you can't believe the words I

  632. speak, believe by the works that God is

  633. in me.

  634. That same spirit.

  635. >> Oh, come on. Say it with me. That same

  636. spirit. That same spirit that raised

  637. Christ from the dead,

  638. that same spirit

  639. of God himself.

  640. That's why it's to your advantage he

  641. left. So that same spirit that was in

  642. him that done those works would come on

  643. on the inside of us. Holy Ghostfilled,

  644. tongue-alking believers.

  645. I don't know about you, but I'm getting

  646. more excited just thinking about it

  647. because I'm full.

  648. I'm full.

  649. And we're full of that power to do the

  650. works.

  651. But the troubler, the troubles, what we

  652. hold on to, what we take on in all of

  653. that, right?

  654. Okay.

  655. So he tells him to take away the stone.

  656. Then Martha,

  657. sister of him who was dead, said to

  658. him,"Lord, by this time there is a

  659. stench, for he has been dead for days."

  660. You know, he doesn't quit.

  661. They don't quit. He doesn't quit. Here

  662. comes another one. Here comes another

  663. one. Here comes another one.

  664. You see, if if if if the enemy could

  665. have kept Jesus from raising Lazarus

  666. from the dead, we find out at the end of

  667. this that many lives wouldn't have got

  668. born again.

  669. Because when he raised him up, man, some

  670. people got on. THEY SAID, "WHY YES, I

  671. believe."

  672. Hallelujah.

  673. Makes me think about this. So good.

  674. So good. When we step out and we start

  675. to do the works, we're going to win the

  676. world.

  677. We're going to if we do it the way Jesus

  678. did it, one thing Pastor Mark tells us

  679. all the time, he says, "I just want to

  680. know how he did it because if I can

  681. figure out how he did it, then I know

  682. how to do it. And if I do it the way he

  683. did it, then it'll get done." Doesn't he

  684. say that all the time? And guess what?

  685. I'm hanging on that word.

  686. I'm hanging on it tight.

  687. And Jesus is showing us right here. When

  688. he was troubled, what did he do? He just

  689. took steps of faith and said no. Toward

  690. it, not away from it.

  691. I'm getting excited.

  692. That same spirit.

  693. Jesus said to her, "Did I not say to

  694. you, if you would what?

  695. Believe, you would see the glory of

  696. God." You know, that's right to us right

  697. now, tonight. Right now, if you believe,

  698. you'll see the glory.

  699. And if we can keep that as our focal

  700. point as we are praying, as we are

  701. worshiping the father, as we're out in

  702. our workplace, as we're out in the

  703. shopping or whatever, as we're anywhere

  704. we're at in the world, and we are

  705. continually having our ears open to what

  706. the master is saying to us,

  707. that same spirit. And you'll know.

  708. And we can trouble the troubler.

  709. We can trouble the troubler.

  710. We can trouble the troubler because then

  711. we can go lay hands on that sick person

  712. and see them get healed. We can go

  713. minister the gospel to that person and

  714. see them get saved. Oh, come on,

  715. somebody. We can go and let the Holy

  716. Spirit that brings that word up from the

  717. inside of us and speak to that person,

  718. that person that's about to commit

  719. suicide,

  720. we don't even have to know it. And man,

  721. they're free.

  722. But if the troubles outweigh the faith,

  723. we got trouble.

  724. But we are the troublers to the

  725. troubler.

  726. We are the body of Christ. We are

  727. already in victory. We've already won.

  728. We stand in a place of victory. We

  729. already stand in a place that's won.

  730. We stand in the place where everything

  731. is done. All we have to do is put our

  732. hand on it. All we have to do is put our

  733. hand on it. Put our faith. Put our hand

  734. on it. Come on.

  735. I'm so excited. Jesus is our greatest

  736. example. He showed us right here. AND

  737. GUESS WHAT? LAZARUS, COME FORTH.

  738. And he did not question what he said. He

  739. did not expect a different outcome from

  740. what he said.

  741. It makes me think of Smith Wigglesworth.

  742. makes me think of these great giants

  743. that did these miracle healing things

  744. and all these powerful things God did

  745. through their lives and they didn't

  746. care.

  747. They just believed.

  748. And when they said it, that's it. It

  749. settled it. It's done. They're free.

  750. They're healed. THEY'RE GOING TO GET UP.

  751. THAT CANCER IS GOING TO COME OFF. THAT

  752. TUMOR'S GOING TO FALL TO THE GROUND.

  753. >> [snorts]

  754. >> NOW, the Lord has to tell you to do some

  755. of that

  756. like, you know, punch, slap, or any of

  757. that, but he doesn't have to tell you

  758. that when you see someone to start

  759. looking on the inside because then he

  760. starts to lead you.

  761. And there are so many lives,

  762. so many people hurting. In fact, tonight

  763. we we stopped at Quick Trip before we

  764. got here and I came outside and I was

  765. putting something in the trash and this

  766. lady come walking up and I could just

  767. hear her from behind me and she was

  768. talking on her phone through her, you

  769. know, and she was so distraught.

  770. She was so upset. She was hurting.

  771. She was troubled.

  772. It's all around.

  773. And we are the light of the world. We

  774. are the body of Christ. We are the hands

  775. and the feet. Amen.

  776. That's why when we start to just think

  777. about Jesus being on the inside of us,

  778. his spirit and him being in the room and

  779. him walking through here like Sunday

  780. morning,

  781. that's real stuff. eternal things,

  782. impartation things were happening.

  783. My goodness.

  784. And it's all in us. Amen. It's all in

  785. us. Say, "It's in me."

  786. >> Larry Keaton said it best. You got the

  787. goods.

  788. >> Amen. We got the goods. So, let me just

  789. end with this.

  790. Let not your heart be troubled. Do what

  791. the Lord says. Obey his command. Don't

  792. let it be trouble. When troubles come,

  793. start to trouble the troubler and watch

  794. things happen. When the trouble comes,

  795. start to look at what I can do, how I

  796. can be led, how I can be uh the hands

  797. and feet of Jesus

  798. and your troubles will fall away and

  799. people's lives will be changed. Amen. Do

  800. you agree with that?

  801. >> Father, we thank you so much for your

  802. word. We thank you for your time and

  803. your word. Lord, we're so grateful.

  804. We're so grateful. We thank you for your

  805. spirit

  806. that lives on the inside of us.

  807. We thank you, Father. We thank you,

  808. Lord. You said that we could do your

  809. works if we believe.

  810. If we believe. If we do what you say to

  811. do, we can do it. If we believe. If we

  812. believe. I thank you, Lord. Your word

  813. tells us

  814. if we believe. If we believe. That's

  815. your word. If we believe we can do what

  816. you're what you did on the earth, we

  817. thank you. I thank you for that. I I

  818. don't have to try to figure out how to

  819. do it. I I don't have to come up with my

  820. own power to get it done. I I don't have

  821. to. I just thank you, Lord, that we can

  822. just listen on the inside and know that

  823. the greater one on the inside of us, the

  824. love of God that's been shed abroad in

  825. our heart, oh hallelujah, will flow from

  826. us, Lord. The compassion of Jesus that's

  827. in us.

  828. We'll see the sick healed. We'll see the

  829. lame well. We'll see those who are lost

  830. come to Jesus. Hallelujah.

  831. Make us a blessing, Lord.

  832. Let that be our cry.

  833. Make us a blessing in this world,

  834. Father, to those you love. You love

  835. everyone.

  836. I thank you for everyone in this room.

  837. I thank you for the privilege it is to

  838. speak to them. And I thank you, Lord,

  839. that we are all people of faith here. We

  840. love you. And I ask you to touch every

  841. person's life right now in this room and

  842. those watching online.

  843. Those that may be walking through

  844. something, those that may be troubled at

  845. this moment,

  846. those that may be facing something very

  847. difficult.

  848. Those that may be dealing with something

  849. in their physical body.

  850. Those that may be hurt over a loved one

  851. that's not born again or or there's some

  852. strife in a family. Lord, that these

  853. things that come to steal and kill and

  854. destroy, I come against it in the name

  855. of Jesus right now.

  856. I come against it

  857. and I don't accept any other answer but

  858. FOR YOU TO STOP IT.

  859. Stop your troubling in the name of

  860. Jesus.

  861. I thank you, Holy Spirit, for your sweet

  862. embrace.

  863. You'll embrace these folks. You'll hold

  864. them close to your heart, Lord.

  865. [laughter]

  866. Yeah.

  867. And they'll sense it like they are right

  868. now.

  869. Right now.

  870. I thank you for that.

  871. And if there's anybody in here that's

  872. never made Jesus the Lord of your life,

  873. I don't want to not give you the

  874. opportunity to meet the master,

  875. the God that paid every price for you

  876. just to have you, just to love you, just

  877. to bless you, and just to be with you

  878. forever. He loves you that much.

  879. Hallelujah. So grateful to him. Or maybe

  880. you're here and you know Jesus, but

  881. maybe you've kind of got off track a

  882. little bit. Maybe you found yourself

  883. maybe at the wrong place at the wrong

  884. time, but you know he loves you so much.

  885. His arms are always wide open. He's

  886. always ready for you just to say, "Yes,

  887. Lord. Yes, Lord. I I need to come home.

  888. Oh, he's so good to us." Amen. He's so

  889. good to you. He loves you so much. And

  890. maybe you're here and you've never been

  891. filled with the Holy Spirit, with the

  892. evidence of speaking in tongues. I tell

  893. you, oh, one of the most powerful things

  894. that can happen in your life is to get

  895. filled with the Holy Spirit. And you can

  896. pray in another language, pray mysteries

  897. out. You can pray to God the Father in a

  898. language when you don't know how to

  899. pray, you know how to pray. And you can

  900. pray in the spirit. Hallelujah. And

  901. he'll edify and build you up on the

  902. inside. Oh, because he loves you so

  903. much.

  904. I said he loves you so much.

  905. If there's anybody on one of those

  906. calls, just lift up your hand real

  907. quick.

  908. I'm looking across and I know it's a

  909. Wednesday night, but

  910. hallelujah. We thank you, Lord. We thank

  911. you.

  912. Come on, somebody. We thank you, Lord.

  913. We thank you. Come on. We thank you. We

  914. thank you. We thank you. We thank you,

  915. Lord. Oh, we're so grateful to you,

  916. Father. We thank you.

  917. Oh, we thank you. We thank you. We thank

  918. you. We thank you.

  919. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank

  920. you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you,

  921. Lord. Well, he's good to us. Amen.

  922. >> So glad to be with you all tonight.

  923. Thank you so much. Love you all so much.

  924. Have a great rest of your week and we'll

  925. see you Sunday. Okay, don't leave yet.

  926. We still have some announcements. So,

  927. >> praise God.

  928. Was

  929. anybody else blessed by that word from

  930. heaven?

  931. Praise God.

  932. Man, I think sometimes it's so easy to

  933. just like take for granted the truths

  934. that are coming from the Bible, from

  935. these stories because we've heard them

  936. before. And, you know, we [music] can

  937. get into our own

  938. uh we can be in our head about what we

  939. think something means. But, man, it's

  940. just uh

  941. just the truth. Praise God. And for me,

  942. what stands out is in this particular um

  943. story of the gospel is just like the

  944. humanity of Jesus.

  945. The humanity of Jesus that that we don't

  946. have a high priest that cannot be

  947. touched with the feelings of our

  948. infirmities. Hebrews said, you know,

  949. um because I feel like for me, you know,

  950. there can be this I'm not a personally a

  951. person that likes to cry and stuff like

  952. that, you know. Um, I am a masculine

  953. male, you know, but

  954. but Jesus, you know, is literally the

  955. alpha, bro. You know, like he he's the

  956. alpha and the omega. And he him seeing

  957. them weeping, he caught those feelings

  958. as well [music] and like had compassion.

  959. And it's just so vivid to me seeing him

  960. with tears

  961. moving towards the tomb with a

  962. determination,

  963. you know, that he knows this whole thing

  964. is about to turn around, that this whole

  965. thing is about to flip. And I bet it was

  966. pretty epic. He's like, "Roll the stone

  967. away." You know, it's just

  968. it's just awesome. Praise God.

  969. Amen. And uh just knowing that no like

  970. you don't get any like more of a

  971. hopeless situation than dead. They've

  972. already like put you in the wrapping

  973. situation in the tomb, you know, the the

  974. thing is already like the stone is

  975. already on the cave. But but we have a

  976. God who who can go to the the lowest

  977. lows and and he feels our pain and he

  978. can raise us back to life. And uh praise

  979. God. I'm just so thankful for that. That

  980. know that'll put a tear in a masculine

  981. man's eye. Come on, somebody. Praise

  982. God. So, I'm just so thankful for that.

  983. Well, um

  984. again, if you're a first- time guest, so

  985. glad that you came to us. Please text

  986. the word welcome to 918-2157066.

  987. Um we uh have a free drink for you in

  988. our cafe. Speaking of cafe drinks, we've

  989. got a couple of cool new cafe drinks in

  990. the cafe. Um, we've got this

  991. chocolatecovered strawberry latte,

  992. um, which looks delectable. And we have

  993. a chocolate raspberry latte, which just

  994. looks great. So, um, at this moment, I I

  995. wish that I were a first- time guest cuz

  996. it would be real neat to have one of

  997. those. If anyone is feeling any

  998. generosity,

  999. praise God. Um, so if you're a first-

1000. time guest, we're going to treat you to

1001. something like that. With that said,

1002. that's all of the announcements that we

1003. have. Let's go ahead and say our vision

1004. statement together. We live by the word.

1005. We're led by the spirit. We love the

1006. world. You guys have an awesome rest of

  1007. your week.
