You know, when I was a kid, we were way
-
out in the country. Uh my dad was had a
-
farm, small farm. We lived way out in
-
the country, went to a little country
-
church. Uh I grew up as a kid, you know,
-
uh with a admiration for God. No doubt
-
about that. But my dad got a job in
-
town, went in the insurance business,
-
and and uh went into a bigger city. you
-
know, I think we had two stop lightss
-
and uh got in there and um over the
-
years uh got different friends,
-
different music, different connections,
-
different things and really just walked
-
away from the things of God. Totally
-
did. And so by the time I got into um
-
high school, I pretty much walked away
-
from the things of God. And by the time
-
I got into college, I was running away
-
from the things of God, seeing how far
-
away I could get. The funny thing is you
-
can go you can see how far away you can
-
get, but you're always going to run
-
right into him.
-
>> I didn't get that part figured out for a
-
while. But um
-
when I uh November 1972, it was my
-
second year of college and um it was it
-
was it wasn't very good. I was in
-
Anyway, uh wasn't a good a good uh lane
-
to be in. And uh so I went to a meeting
-
and and somebody talked me into it. I
-
said, "If you leave me alone, I'll go to
-
your meeting." So I kept my word. They
-
left me alone. I went to the meeting.
-
Went two nights in a row. Second night I
-
thought about time to quit running from
-
God. I think I better run to him. Walked
-
an aisle, prayed a prayer. And that was
-
November 1972
-
and been walking with God to some degree
-
ever since then. Just made a decision at
-
that time. Well, right after that,
-
I uh I located probably within maybe I
-
don't know three, four, five months,
-
something like that. I found a a
-
Christian bookstore. This was in uh East
-
Lancing, Michigan, where the school was,
-
Michigan State University. And I found a
-
little little Christian bookstore. And I
-
went in and and I didn't know there was
-
such a thing as a Christian bookstore. I
-
knew there was a Bible, but I didn't
-
know you're supposed to read it. And uh
-
so I went into this Christian bookstore
-
and I started looking at the books. And
-
of all the books, probably 99% of the
-
books in that place that I could have or
-
should have ought to have read,
-
something pulled me to a particular book
-
in there. I have no idea why, but I went
-
to a book called Great Revivals in
-
America.
-
Now, I didn't know what a revival was. I
-
had no idea, no concept what revival
-
was, but I went to that book. I think it
-
was, in fact, I've still got it. It's in
-
my library. I think I paid a$14 four
-
cents tax on that thing. And um bought
-
the book. And it was about great
-
revivals in America. I didn't know back
-
then that I was going to have the
-
privilege of living in the body of
-
Christ, being in the middle of what God
-
was doing uh a few years down the road
-
and be in the middle of probably one of
-
the greatest moves of God the earth has
-
ever seen. And that's what you and I are
-
alive for. I had no idea what a revival
-
was. But I want to talk a little bit
-
about that because in with all the
-
things we've got going on in the Middle
-
East and Africa uh Asia
-
around the world, all the uh wars,
-
rumors of wars and all that, we've got
-
one answer for all this, and the answer
-
is revival. Anytime anytime anytime we
-
see where the the uh the world is in the
-
mess and the church isn't far behind it,
-
we see when we're bumping up against
-
something that will make a change for
-
that and it's called revival. Now, you
-
know, somebody talked to us number of
-
years ago, there was a particular church
-
in another city, another state and a
-
friend of ours went into that particular
-
church and they called us on the phone.
-
They said, uh, they said, uh, our, uh,
-
our our church, uh, we're we we are we
-
are in the last day revival. I said,
-
great. That's good. I said, 'What's
-
going on? Said, we're growing. We're
-
we've we've doubled our crowd. I said,
-
well, you you've doubled your crowd, but
-
what's going on there? Well, what do you
-
mean what's going on? Well, you may have
-
doubled your crowd, but what what have
-
you got in there with the presence of
-
God? What do you have in there with
-
miracles? What do you have with signs
-
and wonders? What do you have going with
-
anything else in there? They said, "Huh?
-
I said, you know, we think revival is
-
just getting lots of people, but revival
-
goes way beyond that.
-
>> All right. And so now, have you found
-
the 85th Psalm, sixth verse there?
-
>> That's where the psalmist said, Lord,
-
will you not revive us
-
>> again? One time, one time just isn't
-
enough. Lord, will you will you not
-
revive us again that your people may
-
rejoice in you? See, back there, even
-
the psalmist cried out for a revival, a
-
move of God. you go back to the early
-
early part of the uh uh book of Exodus
-
uh and and uh God's people, they're
-
they're in bondage in in in Egypt, but
-
they're crying out. They got sick and
-
tired of being sick and tired. They
-
start crying out for a move of God. This
-
has been a history for about 6,000 years
-
now, where God's people, when the going
-
gets tough, they know enough to turn to
-
God.
-
>> And that's where we are right now. the
-
the the answer to where we are in the
-
world system right now is going to be um
-
revival. But see, we need to find out
-
what what is it going to be? I mean,
-
yeah, we're going to pray for revival.
-
How do we know if we get it? Well, we're
-
going to see more people come to church.
-
Well, that ought to be happening all the
-
time. What is going to what is the
-
revival actually going to be? Well,
-
revival um I've heard one
-
one uh one definition. I got a set of
-
set of cassettes.
-
Tell you how it tells you how old it
-
was. Uh I got a set of cassette uh
-
cassettes where somebody was teaching on
-
the subject of revival. He was a British
-
man talking about revival. I still have
-
it. In fact, in fact, it's in my phone
-
now. But um he talked about um revivals
-
that had broken out over the years. He
-
was old enough at the time he'd been
-
involved in a few of them. He knew Smith
-
Wigglesworth. He'd been around in
-
Wigglesworth's time. Saw the results of
-
that. uh that gift. But um revival was
-
defined as he put it this way. Revival
-
is simply defined as a restoration. It's
-
not just a restoration of a lot of
-
people. Revival is a restoration of the
-
presence of God. It's not how many
-
people you get. It's how much of God you
-
got. Revival is how much you get of the
-
pre in his presence is fullness of joy
-
at his right hand pleasures ever more.
-
He said, "Revival is a it's a uh it's
-
the restoration of the presence of God."
-
In fact, somebody else put it this way.
-
Uh revival is the inrush. I love this
-
one. Revival is the inrush of the spirit
-
into a body that threatens to become a
-
corpse.
-
I'll say that again. Revival is the
-
inrush of the spirit into a body that
-
threatens to become a corpse. Every time
-
the body of Christ gets to where we
-
we're just going down for the third
-
time, every time the church world looks
-
like we're in bad trouble, what what do
-
we get instead of getting we might
-
deserve judgment? We might have earned
-
judgment, but what we get instead of
-
judgment, we get revival. You can track
-
that all the way back through where
-
we've we've had some really rough times
-
in the history of the church world.
-
There were times when the early early
-
days of the church, actually here in
-
America, when there were some well-known
-
writers that said, "The church is about
-
gone. Give us 25 to 30 years and there
-
will be no church. Well, there will
-
there was no more of that guy, but the
-
church is alive and well. And so if you
-
go back through
-
revival is it's again the restoration of
-
the presence of God. Well, what the
-
restoration of the presence of God means
-
we've had it and for some reason it's
-
gone away. I've been around long enough
-
now, okay, won't say how long. I've been
-
around long enough now that I' I've been
-
able to have my feet somewhere in some
-
kind of a revival, some kind of a move
-
of God about four different times.
-
They're coming quicker than they used
-
to. I've been able to get my feet just
-
in the on the edge of things. We'll
-
maybe get to that later on. We'll see.
-
But u I mean, I was I got my life right
-
with God right in the be really kind of
-
in the beginning of the charismatic
-
move. I didn't do really well with the
-
the standard church group. I wasn't real
-
good with pews and song books and all
-
that. But I'll tell you what, when I
-
started finding all these people, they
-
they got together. They had uh acoustic
-
guitars. They had hymns they were
-
singing out of the Psalms. Um they wore
-
tie-dye t-shirts. um the the the the
-
hippie movement when they when they went
-
from the hippie movement to the Jesus
-
revolution, something changed.
-
>> What happened was God came and visited a
-
group of people because they were
-
hungry.
-
>> And when that began to take place, I
-
thought, "This is what I've been looking
-
for. This is what I've been wanting." I,
-
you know, I wasn't against the church
-
world. I just couldn't stay awake. Okay?
-
I was looking for something that was
-
different than what I'd been around.
-
grew up in church, went to church, you
-
know, finally, actually when I was in
-
high school, I told my parents
-
respectfully, I wasn't I wasn't
-
disrespectful about it, but I said, you
-
know, I said, you just have to
-
understand, I said, church is really
-
dead, dull, dry, and poor and boring.
-
And I said, I I really, if you don't
-
mind, I said, I really, most my friends
-
end up down at the pool hall that time
-
of day. If you don't mind, I'm going to
-
skip the I'm going to skip the church.
-
I'm going to the pool hall.
-
And I think my dad looked at me and
-
said, I don't blame you. Go ahead. And
-
uh
-
and if you're around when he was around,
-
you probably wouldn't doubt that at all.
-
I see some people doing this thing. So
-
uh he actually the thing was he was
-
wishing he could go with me. But anyway,
-
vicariously going with me. But anyway, I
-
uh you know, I just remembered I was
-
looking for something different. And
-
when I walked the aisle, made a
-
commitment to Jesus at a meeting in in
-
it was actually at the Civic Center in
-
Lancing, Michigan. Uh Leighton Ford, he
-
was a associate of Billy Graham preached
-
that night. And I remember going there
-
two nights in a row. Second night I
-
walked the aisle and I made a commitment
-
to Jesus. And from there, I got involved
-
instantly. The guy that got me to the
-
meeting was one of the navigators.
-
I didn't know what a navigator was, but
-
the guy just wouldn't leave me alone. He
-
just stayed with me right after that.
-
Thank God. I went there for a while and
-
then I discovered the Campus Crusade for
-
Christ. And I thought, this is a little
-
more what I was looking for. And I got
-
into that. And so what happened was I
-
got into the middle of the charismatic
-
move in basically 19 about 1972,
-
something like that. Changed the course
-
of my life. Um, didn't know to go to
-
church. Didn't know there was a church
-
to go to. Didn't read the Bible. didn't
-
know I was supposed to, but I found out
-
a bunch of people that were looking for
-
something different. I found some people
-
real hungry and I got around the campus
-
crusade for Christ and and uh you know,
-
of course, I was in that until uh moved
-
back to my hometown, got into a
-
charismatic church there. Uh got filled
-
with the Holy Ghost and about that time
-
is when brother Hagen started uh Rama
-
1974 the year it started and I was in
-
the charter class there. Uh I didn't
-
know who Brother Hagen was. I didn't
-
know what a Rama was. Uh all I knew is
-
whatever that thing was, I was supposed
-
to go to it. And I packed a couple
-
suitcases, got a flight to Tulsa from
-
Michigan, came down here and got in the
-
middle. And that was the beginning of
-
when we switched kind of from the
-
charismatic move to what we called the
-
Word of Faith teaching revival.
-
But by my in my life, that was the
-
second really the second revival I'd
-
been able to get my toes in the waters
-
of. But to go back through there
-
where we're headed right now. Okay. If
-
there's something we should be looking
-
for, if there's something we should be
-
planning on, if there's something we
-
should be headed for, we should be
-
looking while all these wars and rumors
-
of wars are going in the world today. I
-
don't know how long this thing's going
-
to last in the Middle East. I don't know
-
how far it's going to go. But I do know
-
the answer to all this is that's going
-
to make a difference is revival.
-
>> It's the one thing you and I can push
-
toward. We can pray for. You see, the
-
psalmist said, "Lord," he said, "will
-
you not revive us
-
>> again." Once wasn't enough. I've been in
-
like four of them. But there's some the
-
big ones coming.
-
>> There's something there's something out
-
there. And God's raising up a generation
-
of believers that if we know what we're
-
doing, we get we've got ourselves ready
-
to get involved in something that's
-
going to shake the world like nothing
-
ever has before. There's what's called
-
the rain. Ask ye the Lord rain in the
-
time of the latter rain. He'll send
-
bright clouds, lightning, showers of
-
rain, grass to every man in his field.
-
Zechariah 10:1. We know we're headed
-
into something. God calls it the rain.
-
There's something he's called the
-
harvest. The husbandman waits for the
-
precious fruit of the earth. And he has
-
long patience for it until he receives
-
the early and the latter rain. What's he
-
waiting for? Harvest. He's waiting for
-
precious fruit of the earth. You and I,
-
you know, if we've got this wrong, we've
-
got it really wrong. Otherwise, we're
-
living at the at the beginning of an
-
outpouring of the reign of God, which is
-
the outpouring of his presence, which is
-
revival. We're living at the edge of
-
that, which will produce a great
-
harvest, which will bring in Jesus, and
-
we're all we're getting caught away.
-
We'll leave out of here, go out and
-
celebrate for seven years, come back
-
with him, and then away we go from
-
there. But now
-
t taking a look back through in looking
-
at what is it we're looking for? We're
-
looking for uh uh revival. Well, it's
-
it's a restoration of the presence of
-
God. Well, I don't know about you, uh I
-
remember the first time I got in the
-
presence of God, I said, "God, I don't
-
know what this is, but I got to have
-
more of it."
-
>> I got in the presence of God. It was so
-
thick I could barely stand up. I didn't
-
know what that was, but I said, God,
-
whatever this is, I got if if you still
-
do this today, I'm a candidate. I'm
-
going I will spend the rest of my life
-
going after your presence. First time I
-
got around it. I Nobody told me, you
-
know, you need to you need to pursue the
-
presence of God. I didn't know anything
-
about it, but I know when I got into a
-
meeting and I got face to face with the
-
presence of God, I thought, this is it.
-
Whatever this is, I got to have it. I
-
got my feet over in the glory of God and
-
something changed the course of my life.
-
I've never that was in 1975. I've never
-
been the same since then. I got around
-
that and I thought if this is available
-
I'm a candidate.
-
>> I can't settle for something else. I
-
said I told God I said, you know, he
-
knows what I'm thinking so I might as
-
well tell him.
-
That's not always the best idea. But you
-
know, I mean, you know, I I said, God,
-
I'll tell you what. I I I I uh I was in
-
uh college
-
where I I I got my life on the process
-
of getting right with God. That was not
-
an instant thing. It just took some time
-
to grow. Okay, which I'm still doing
-
that. But I said I uh I said, you know,
-
I went from there and I went to uh moved
-
from college, went back to my uh
-
hometown. Uh told my parents, I said, I
-
I don't know what I'm going to do. Uh I
-
I had two a little over two years in
-
college about little almost two and a
-
half and I said if I if I stay in
-
college this isn't going to work. I just
-
know the friends I had, the company I
-
had, the communication I had, everything
-
I'm around here, if I stay around here
-
long, this thing is not going to be able
-
to work. I wasn't I wasn't in a church.
-
I didn't wasn't reading my Bible. I
-
didn't know anything except I knew my
-
friends weren't very good for me and I
-
probably wasn't real good for them at
-
the time. I knew I'd gotten my life
-
right with God, but I thought, I don't
-
know what this is all about. All I know
-
is I've got to get out of here. I've got
-
to find something different. I've got
-
God's got something for me to do. I
-
don't know what it is, but whatever it
-
is, I'm ready to do it. So, I'm going to
-
move back to my hometown, small town in
-
Michigan. I'm going to move back to my
-
hometown. Mom and dad said, "Yes, move
-
in. Move back in your old room. Come on
-
in."
-
And uh I had gotten a a uh uh a real
-
estate license right out of high school,
-
right after I graduated. And uh so I
-
said, I'm going to activate my license.
-
I'm going to go into the real estate
-
business. I don't know why I didn't know
-
anything about real estate. And uh it
-
proved out in the first six months I
-
didn't make anything. But anyway,
-
I uh you know, I I I went back in and I
-
I went into the real estate business. I
-
started working in the real estate
-
company. Um, and I I a move of God broke
-
out in the young people in my hometown
-
from a lot of different churches. Uh, I
-
led the the the youth revival. I only
-
because I was the oldest one. I didn't
-
know any more than anybody else. But,
-
uh, things began to turn that direction.
-
And I remember saying, we we had some
-
meet we had some times when the Holy
-
Ghost showed up. We had some meetings
-
where the spirit of God fell in there.
-
We had some times when people were
-
healed. We had some miracles that were
-
done. We had a lot of there was we were
-
in the middle of the charismatic move.
-
And I remember telling the Lord, I said,
-
"Lord, I don't understand all this." But
-
I said, "U, if this is what you're going
-
to do, I'm on board. But if this is not
-
for today, I'm staying in real estate.
-
I'll make money. I'll support the
-
church. I'll do whatever I need to do.
-
But if this is if this is not available,
-
I'll love you and I'll serve you. But
-
this is ava if this is available, I'm
-
in. And I'm in 100%. and I'll pursue
-
this. I'll go after this. I don't
-
understand it, but I'm going whatever
-
this is, I like it. Well, I didn't know
-
what it was. It was the presence of God.
-
I'd get in meetings and just run face to
-
face with the presence of God. Okay? It
-
was different at different times.
-
Sometimes it was loud and boisterous.
-
Sometimes it was quiet. We're on our
-
face before God. But I got so hungry for
-
the things of God. I said, "God, all I
-
know is if you don't do this today, I'll
-
love you, but I'm just going to work in
-
the real estate business, make money,
-
and be happy. That's it. But if you do
-
this, I'm on board. I'll go anywhere.
-
I'll do anything. I'll go to any
-
country. I'll go to any d I'll go
-
anywhere. I'll do anything. If this is
-
what you do, I'm on board. That's just
-
that's all I can tell you. I don't
-
understand it, but I'm I'm on board."
-
Well,
-
uh, I began to I began to study revival.
-
didn't know. I didn't know that
-
if if I'm if I'm correct. We'll know
-
eventually. I didn't know that I was I
-
was born again to be in the middle of
-
the greatest move of God America's ever
-
seen.
-
>> And so were you.
-
>> We're not We're not here. We're We're
-
not here by accident. We're not in the
-
day we're in. We're not in the time
-
we're in. We're in the We're in the
-
middle of something today. When you look
-
out there and see everything going on,
-
whether it's Asia, whether it's Central
-
America, whether it's Africa, whether
-
it's wherever it is, the world is in a
-
mess out there and the only answer is
-
the church and the only answer the
-
church has is the presence of God.
-
So I began to study about that and I I I
-
started looking and I saw where
-
um every time again uh revival is
-
defined somebody defined it as the
-
inrush of the spirit into a body that
-
threatens to become a corpse. Well, you
-
know, I got in the charismatic move just
-
as things were beginning to dry up a
-
little bit. We'd gotten to the end of
-
the healing revival and there was a a
-
blank spot in there and then we had the
-
charismatic move and then out of that
-
came the Word of Faith teaching revival.
-
But in the middle of all that um looking
-
back through there I could I I was
-
beginning to track where every time
-
every time I I didn't have all the
-
information. There's um I see uh uh
-
Maddens over there. You know, there was
-
there was a move of God in u I think it
-
was in southern France. What in the
-
1500s? The Hugenats. Is that what it
-
was? The Hugenats. That's we think
-
that's what my family came out of. I
-
think I don't know how we got to
-
America, but I'm you know, we did. And
-
uh and then there was another one in in
-
uh uh another one in in the Czech Rep
-
Czechoslovakia area. There's revival
-
going on in Europe, but I didn't know
-
anything about that. But I began to
-
study what God did in in uh America. I
-
had a book, Great Revivals in America.
-
It was not a full gospel book, so they
-
left a couple of them out.
-
But uh and going back through there, uh
-
every time every time America, you ever
-
stop we're we're an interesting group.
-
America's we are a group of pioneers.
-
Okay? And every time every time things
-
have gotten
-
dry in America, looking like things
-
weren't going to work out, every time
-
we've gotten to that point, God would
-
raise up a people to pray.
-
There's no such thing as a move of God
-
that's not produced by prayer.
-
>> Amen.
-
>> Something has to activate that.
-
Something has to get it moving. So God
-
would raise up some people to pray and
-
if they'd pray, we'd have an outpouring
-
and we would end up with a revival. in
-
reading about that going just going back
-
through for there was what they called
-
the great awakening
-
uh Peter I think it was Peter Cartright
-
it was in the second great awakening it
-
was up in New England and um he'd have
-
meetings out there in the out in the
-
fields and I was reading about that one
-
time and I think I got the right guy. He
-
said he had a meeting out there and he
-
said there was a bunch of young guys
-
that were climbing up in the trees. He
-
said he stopped and said get out of the
-
trees because when I start preaching the
-
power of God's going to fall. when it
-
does, when he falls, you'll fall. And I
-
don't need you getting injured falling
-
out of the trees. So, way back there in
-
the second great awakening, people were
-
falling under the power of God out there
-
in field meetings. Well, I kept reading
-
about these and then we get over to
-
actually into the right around 1800. Uh,
-
man, we're we're pushing our way. We're
-
into the Wild West out in in western
-
Kentucky. And um there was a uh there's
-
a a preacher out there. Uh James McGrady
-
was his name. Okay. And he James McGrady
-
was out there and and uh he was he was
-
pastoring a few small churches out in
-
this area. And it was kind of a lawless
-
area in America. If people were in
-
trouble, they'd go to Western Kentucky
-
because there was no law to come after
-
him there. And everybody knew that. So
-
McGrady's out there. He's pastoring
-
churches, but people are running
-
everywhere to get away from the law and
-
God. Well, he uh he decided to start
-
having people pray.
-
This was right around roughly late
-
1700s into the early 1800s. He started
-
getting people to pray and they'd pray.
-
They'd pray the first Monday of of every
-
month and then they prayed a little more
-
often. Well, they got to where more
-
people pray and more people were
-
praying. more people kept getting they
-
people started getting interested. Give
-
people something they like, they'll get
-
in the middle of it.
-
>> Yeah.
-
>> They began to start praying. And so
-
finally, McGrady said, "Uh, let's uh
-
we're going to have we're going to have
-
a uh we're going to have a prayer
-
meeting. We're we're going to have a
-
communion service." Okay, that sound
-
like a great idea. So, they started
-
getting word around to the area. This
-
was in the early early 1800s. they're
-
going to have a communion service out
-
there in a field out there. And they
-
they knew some people would come. They
-
didn't know who would show up. But when
-
they started having this communion
-
service, people kept coming and coming
-
and coming and coming there. And they
-
had they had horses and wagons. They had
-
Anyway, they ended up with last I I've
-
gotten a lot of different numbers. Last
-
one I got was they ended up they looked
-
out and they had a little over 13,000
-
people that showed up. They started out
-
with nothing but a bunch of rag tag
-
crazy
-
bad guys,
-
but they kept getting people praying.
-
And when they got praying, what
-
happened? God invaded. And it turned
-
into the great Western Kentucky revival.
-
And it began to sweep that whole section
-
of the nation. It went to cities, it
-
went to villages, it went to towns, it
-
went to states, it went all over that
-
region of America because somebody
-
prayed. And when they did, God invaded
-
it with a revival. Revival that swept
-
that whole part of our nation as as
-
early 1800s, you know, but we're we're a
-
we're a pioneer people. Give us 50
-
years, we'll find a way that we have to
-
have another one.
-
So by 1850, we're in a kind of a mess
-
again. All right. We're we're just about
-
to get into the Civil War. America's in
-
in we are headed into some problems.
-
Okay. And here's a guy Jeremiah Jeremiah
-
Lamir. He's a he's a guy up in New York
-
and uh the u the church world said they
-
needed him to do something and he said,
-
"Well, I think I'll just start a prayer
-
meeting." So, he talked to the uh the
-
Dutch Reform Church, New York City, and
-
they said, "Well, we have an upper room.
-
That's a good place to start. we got an
-
upper room and what we'll let we'll do
-
is we'll we'll um uh we'll let you use
-
that if you want. He said okay. So he
-
went around he he you know he printed
-
all these brochures and tacked them up
-
on polls around the c that that part of
-
the city. Said we're going to have a
-
noon hour prayer meeting such and such a
-
date. We wanted to invite everybody to
-
come. Well I think they they started it
-
out and I think they had four or five
-
people show up. Well I've been to prayer
-
meetings where you thought that was a
-
landslide. So they had four or five
-
people show up there and um before the
-
end of the meeting they had two or three
-
more showed up said well let's just keep
-
this going. So they had another one the
-
next week and another one the next week
-
and we won't go into all the details of
-
it but over a period of time all of a
-
sudden something happened. God invaded
-
that. Revival broke out. What's revival?
-
Restoration of the presence of God.
-
What's revival? Inrush of the spirit
-
into a body that threatens to become a
-
corpse. So all of a sudden what they
-
they they couldn't produce revival but
-
they could produ produce prayer. And so
-
they did that and and um
-
it swept across that whole section of
-
America. It went clear over into Ohio
-
into Pennsylvania was all through New
-
York. Uh one man covered that whole
-
section of America in his business. And
-
he said every city he went to he found
-
us a a a row of prayer meetings. the uh
-
the the business community had shut down
-
their businesses every day from 12 to
-
1:00 to let people go and pray. Imagine
-
that. They didn't want people competing
-
with each other. So, they shut had
-
everybody shut down their businesses.
-
And what they do is started out in New
-
York and they shut all the businesses
-
down and people went from went all over
-
just to take 12 to 1:00 to pray. And
-
that went all up and down the East
-
Coast. Um, you know, of course it was
-
still going when the civil war broke
-
out. It began to go into the tents of
-
where the wounded were uh from the civil
-
war and revival broke out in the tents
-
of the wounded. People were getting born
-
again. People were praying. Power of God
-
came in there. Well, next thing you
-
know, uh, it swept, it went across the
-
ocean. They said the power of God would
-
get so strong that they would get they'd
-
get word from uh freigherss, boats,
-
ships coming in into the into the harbor
-
in New York and they'd get word coming
-
in from those ships saying, "Send us a
-
preacher.
-
Send us a preacher." Something happened
-
here. We had a bunch of guys that were
-
laughing at these Christians that were
-
having prayer meetings and they'd come
-
down to make fun of them. Power of God
-
hit them. They're on their face before
-
God. Now we got prayer meetings going
-
all over our ship. We can't get anything
-
done. Send us a preacher to let us know
-
what to do about this. And the bottom
-
line is last I read, they figured this
-
went all over the east coast of America.
-
It went across the ocean. It went over
-
into Europe. And uh when all was said
-
and done, they said they figure well
-
over 1 million people were born again as
-
a result of the prayer revival.
-
>> Revival.
-
>> Revival. Think about that.
-
You couldn't get a thou you couldn't get
-
a million people saved with all the
-
preaching you could do. But a revival
-
broke out. When it did, it swept up and
-
down the east coast. It went over into
-
Europe. And they said last they could
-
tell it was roughly over a million
-
people that got born again as a result
-
of the prayer revival. So we've got a
-
we've got the the uh Kentucky, Western
-
Kentucky revival. Then we got the New
-
York revival. That brings us up to the
-
early 1900s. Well, we know what happens
-
then. We got Charles Pum who's got
-
people praying in Topeka, Kansas.
-
And they're they're hungry for they're
-
hungry for something. That's what starts
-
it all. You know, if we're not hungry,
-
we're not going to get anything.
-
>> But they got hungry. And they and they
-
began to pray. And when they did, they
-
uh
-
they were praying for they they found
-
they found over in Acts chapter 2,
Acts 2 chapter mention
-
there's what they call the baptism of
-
the Holy Spirit.
-
wasn't real popular back then. People
-
that got baptized in the Holy Ghost, a
-
lot of them were locked up. They thought
-
they were crazy,
-
but they uh they had people getting uh
-
baptized in the Holy Ghost and they'd
-
have these prayer meetings. Uh Parm
-
started a school and they'd have people
-
in the school. They began to pray. They
-
began to pray for today what God did
-
back in the book of Acts. And they
-
prayed and they prayed and they prayed
-
and they prayed and they prayed. People
-
started getting filled. Well, from there
-
it went, I think, down to Houston. I'm
-
not real sure. And a guy named Brother
-
Seymour
-
picked up on this. He got it started
-
down, I think it was in Texas, but then
-
he headed out for California to Isuza
-
Street. Okay. So, he goes out there,
-
Brother Seymour gets a little place,
-
Isuza Street, California, and u he he
-
went into this place, little place, and
-
got got a bunch of people to pray. He'd
-
pray with a cardboard box over his head
-
because he didn't want people giving him
-
the credit for whatever was going to
-
happen. So he'd put a cardboard box over
-
his head and he'd pray three, four hours
-
a day. Nothing happens. He finally said,
-
"God, nothing's happening." He said, the
-
Lord spoke to him and said, "You're not
-
praying enough." He said, "Lord, I'm
-
praying a lot." He said, "Increase." He
-
went on, he was praying eight hours a
-
day,
-
not in tongues. He was praying in
-
English, but he kept praying and praying
-
and praying. Well, we all know what
-
happened there. All of a sudden, people
-
started getting baptized in the Holy
-
Ghost, and a move of God broke out.
-
Revival broke out. We'd had the Pentec,
-
you know, I mean, we we've had the uh
-
Western Kentucky revival. We we had the
-
the uh uh awakening up in New England.
-
We had the New York prayer revival. But
-
all of a sudden, something broke out in
-
uh Isuza. And when it did, I don't know
-
about you, Pastor Janet and I, we've
-
been, I don't know, we've been to 50some
-
countries. I don't know where you can go
-
anywhere you want and you're going to
-
find a bunch of people baptized in the
-
Holy Ghost, praying in other tongues.
-
Anywhere you go, you can find a full
-
gospel church. Anywhere you can go, you
-
can find a charismatic move. Anywhere
-
you can go, you can find a bunch of
-
folks that are praying in other tongues.
-
It all happened because somebody went
-
after it. One revival, one revival
-
exploded in our nation. As a result, we
-
ended up with Church of God, Pentecostal
-
Church of God. We ended up with
-
Assemblies of God. We ended up with
-
denominations all over America. All of
-
them came out of a bunch of people in
-
the Isuza Street Revival. I've read
-
after that, read about that. Something
-
something broke out there. It was
-
amazing. There's a book out on uh uh
-
where the where the children as adults
-
they were telling people what it was
-
like when they were a kid in the zoos of
-
revival. It was amazing. I've still got
-
it. Again, I got the book in my library.
-
But they said it wasn't just what you
-
know you think well people just you know
-
they just prayed until they started
-
speaking in tongues. Power of God fell
-
in there. The glory came in. We ended up
-
the glory of God would get so thick in
-
there. We as kids, we'd bring glass jars
-
to church with us and we'd crawl under
-
the front chairs with glass jars because
-
the glory would get so thick. We wanted
-
to get some in the jar and take it home
-
with us.
-
>> Now, I don't know about you, I'm ready
-
for the glory to come into our church so
-
thick that the kids are coming in with
-
glass jars, plastic, I don't care. And
-
uh the where the glory gets so thick,
-
they want to try to take some of that
-
home with them.
-
Well, the kids could see it. And then
-
when that would happen, they'd look and
-
there'd be people in the back of the
-
building coming in in in wheelchairs.
-
The kids would go back there. Said they
-
we didn't wait for the adults. While the
-
adults are praying to get filled, the
-
kids are going to the back part. They're
-
going back there and they're finding
-
folks in wheelchairs and they're
-
grabbing them by the hands. The kids are
-
pulling them out of wheelchairs and
-
walking around the back part of the
-
building. They said people had u you
-
know this was this was back there early
-
early. This was in 1907 1908. A lot of
-
people had you know teeth that were
-
missing. These kids would go up and find
-
people with teeth missing, put their
-
fingers into their mouths and teeth
-
would grow right under their fingers.
-
They had teeth growing. They had people
-
getting up and walking out of
-
wheelchairs. This is what the children
-
saw. Hallelujah.
-
>> How would you like to have that in our
-
children's church?
-
>> Why not?
-
>> If they could have that in 1907, why
-
shouldn't we have it today in 2026?
-
>> Why? What was the difference? It was
-
revival.
-
>> It was revival that broke out. And you
-
can find, like I said, you can find it.
-
My goodness. You can go now in in
-
there's a move of God in Brazil. Been
-
going for years. Amazing move of God.
-
There's a move of God in the Philippine
-
Islands. Amazing move of God in the
-
Philippines. great things happening.
-
Church is exploding over there. Things
-
are beginning to break out. We know some
-
things that are about to take place in
-
Japan. There's some things in um some of
-
the major cities in Europe, whether it
-
be Paris or Rome or or uh um some of the
-
other cities there. Things are beginning
-
to break out. Why? Because there's a
-
hunger and there's prayer and there's a
-
move of God. Something's breaking out. I
-
uh and we've gone long enough for today,
-
but I uh you know, I I was in the
-
middle, like I said, the charismatic
-
move. And then when that be that
-
switched over, I was in the charismatic
-
move, baptized in the Holy Ghost,
-
praying in other tongues, didn't know
-
anything. I just knew I was filled. I
-
began to realize you need to read the
-
Bible if you plan for this to last. And
-
um
-
Brother Hagen had started Rama. And I
-
didn't know who he was. I didn't know
-
what a Rama was. I just saw an article
-
about it and I thought I've got to go
-
there. Talked to my dad. He was the half
-
part owner of the company I was in. And
-
he said I said, "Dad, I I'll go another
-
year." He said, "No, go now." He said,
-
"You're miserable. Go down there." So I
-
called, got him on the phone and I said,
-
"I want to come to your school." And
-
they said, "If you can make it in the
-
next two weeks, you can come." Said, "Do
-
I need to fill out an application?" "No,
-
if you can get here, you can come." I
-
never did fill out an application, but I
-
was in the very first year in the
-
charter class. Came down here, ended up
-
working for brother Hagen uh on and off
-
for about five years time.
-
Got down here because I was hungry. And
-
there was a we'd been through I'd been
-
in the middle of the charismatic move.
-
But all of a sudden, this is the
-
presence of God coming in a different
-
way. This is a this is a this is a move
-
of uh u hunger for the word of God.
-
We called it a word of faith teaching
-
revival. Changed the course of my life.
-
We could go on and on. Went from there
-
to a joy move. I don't know if any of
-
you were in that or not. Joy move broke
-
out, broke out, broke out. We got in the
-
middle of it. We're in it for about five
-
years time. Went all over the world. We
-
just start preaching the word and people
-
would just start falling out under the
-
power of God. People laughing, people
-
dancing, people rejoicing. We didn't do
-
it. We're just trying to preach the
-
Bible. But there was a joy move that
-
broke out. But I'm going to find a place
-
to close this. I said all that to say
-
where we are right now. If if revival is
-
an inrush of the spirit into a body that
-
threatens to become a corpse, if there's
-
a time if there's ever been a time the
-
church needed a great reviving, it's
-
right now. We've got a mess going in
-
Africa. We got a mess going in central
-
really Middle East. We got a mess going
-
in Asia. We got a mess going in Europe.
-
We got me We got messes going
-
everywhere. And there's some good things
-
happening in the church.
-
There's some growth happening in the
-
church. There's some numerical growth in
-
the church. But I'm looking for
-
somewhere. I don't know about you, I got
-
this hunger in me. What
-
we I was in a I was working for brother
-
Hagen. We he did a meeting at one
-
particular point and uh my goodness, the
-
meeting was so strong. power of God was
-
so thick in that in that meeting
-
and uh didn't do any good to talk to
-
brother Hagen. He wouldn't bother
-
talking to you anyway.
-
But as we headed out of the service, it
-
was so strong and I was walking with him
-
back to toward his hotel room and I
-
said, "Uh, Brother Hagen," I said, "That
-
was that was uh that was amazing
-
service." That's all I'm, you know, no
-
use trying to, you know, inflate his ego
-
or anything else. He didn't listen. But
-
I said, "That was an amazing service."
-
I'll never forget he said he stopped and
-
he said you know he said yeah but after
-
you bet around the big stuff he said
-
this little stuff just doesn't satisfy
-
you anymore and I thought if this is the
-
little stuff
-
I'm going after the big stuff if this is
-
the little stuff I'm going after the big
-
stuff if this is what it is if he was
-
around something signs and wonders and
-
miracles and healings and demonstrations
-
of the Holy Ghost if he was around that
-
for years before we ever started meet
-
doing the meetings where I worked for
-
him. If that's what it was like back in
-
the earlier day and then he gets into
-
what I'm thinking was the greatest
-
meeting I've ever been around. He said,
-
"Well, it's it's okay." He said, "But
-
this little stuff just doesn't satisfy
-
you when you've been around bigger
-
stuff." I said, "God, if you got bigger
-
stuff, I'm a candidate.
-
But God, I believe there's a people.
-
And the spirit of God's raising up a
-
remnant. He's raising up a group of
-
people with a hunger in their heart and
-
ready to jump in and start. Something's
-
coming our way and we're coming into the
-
fullness of that day. Power of God will
-
fall like a river and we're going to
-
watch the outpouring of the giver. So be
-
prepared and ready to go because with
-
the spirit of God, you and I are going
-
to learn how to flow. Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah. Well, let's give him thanks.
-
>> Hallelujah. We thank you for it, dear
-
father. Lord, I pray I pray I pray,
-
Father. Of course, we pray for Israel.
-
You said uh you said uh to really to
-
pray for the peace of Jerusalem. And we
-
do that because you asked us to. We pray
-
for the peace of God. We pray for again
-
for the koi over there doing what you've
-
called them to do. But we bring it even
-
back around here. Lord, there's
-
something about America. Something about
-
the call of God on America. We've not
-
yet seen what we're going to see. We've
-
not yet done what we're going to do.
-
We've seen miracles. We've seen healing
-
signs and wonders. We've been in the the
-
healing revival of the 40s and 50s.
-
We've been in the charismatic move of
-
the 60s. Been in the word of faith in
-
the 70s.
-
Charismatic move in the 60s. Father,
-
there's something something something.
-
There's a stirring. There's a a stirring
-
on the inside of us. Lord, I know it
-
just it just rolls in there. It just
-
rolls. I know it has been really,
-
especially the last couple weeks here.
-
There's something rolling, just rolling
-
on the inside that you're getting uh the
-
church ready for. You're getting not
-
just a few people. You're getting the
-
church ready for. You're raising up a a
-
remnant. You're raising up a a
-
generation. So I ask you, Lord, prepare
-
us for that which you've prepared for
-
us. What we don't know, tell us. What we
-
haven't seen, show unto us. What we
-
haven't heard, speak unto us. Prepare
-
us, dear Lord, for that which you have
-
for that which you've prepared for us.
-
Hallelujah. Not only in America, but
-
other places. Lord, I look back there
-
and see the madness. I thank you,
-
Father, for the work that they've done
-
over there in uh in that section of
-
Europe. I thank you, Father. Thank you
-
for as good as it has been, nothing
-
compared to what it's going to be. I
-
thank you, Father, for the other
-
locations that I can look out and see
-
some folks. Some some here naturally,
-
some by the Holy Ghost. There's some
-
people. You're raising up people for an
-
outpouring of the spirit of God. You're
-
just looking for a people to get hungry
-
and pray. And if we do, then uh you'll
-
do what you said you'd do. Great move of
-
the spirit of God. So, I thank you for
-
it in the wonderful name of Jesus. Lord,
-
there's a a stirring in my heart. Where
-
we are is great. It's good. It's
-
wonderful, but it's nothing compared to
-
where you're going to take us. There is
-
a there is a deep stirring, deep calls
-
to deep. There's something way down on
-
the inside, dear Lord. I don't know how
-
to describe it. I do my best and I can't
-
seem to even get to the edge of it, but
-
there's something way on the inside. If
-
I was to go around the crowd, I would
-
say probably twothirds of the people in
-
here would be able to say, "I get it.
-
That's working on the inside of me.
-
Something is on the inside of me.
-
Something greater is in me than what I'm
-
walking in." And I thank you, Lord. I
-
pray over this house in the name of
-
Jesus. Lord, prepare us for that which
-
you prepared for us. For the best, the
-
greatest is just ahead.
-
Hallelujah. And we thank you for it in
-
Jesus wonderful name. Father, I I Lord,
-
I I've just there's something way down
-
inside. I don't honestly don't know what
-
to do with it yet. Something on the
-
inside.
-
Uh that part I do know. I I do
-
understand that part. I I get I get that
-
part. I don't know what to do or how I I
-
don't know what to do with it, but
-
you'll have to show us. Holy Ghost, the
-
teacher you that that's what you do. So,
-
I look to you to do that. But I thank
-
you right now, dear Father. Hallelujah.
-
I thank you just for this house right
-
here, the nations, the places, the
-
cities, the locations.
-
Just a little bit of hunger and some
-
prayer and things can break out here and
-
break out there. So I thank you for it
-
in Jesus name. Father, hallelujah. Thank
-
you. Thank you. Thank you. The greater
-
one's living in us. He's given us
-
uncction. He's given us utterance. And
-
what you've said, you'll do. What you
-
spoke, you'll make it good. We thank you
-
for it in Jesus name, Father. Amen.
-
Amen. And amen. While heads are bowed
-
and eyes are closed, if you're here
-
today and you'd say, "Pastor Mark, I uh
-
I got a hunger like that on the inside
-
of me. I never would have told anybody.
-
I probably couldn't have explained it,
-
but there's something on the inside of
-
me. Whatever you're talking about, I
-
want to be in the middle of that. But
-
I'm really I'm just not I need to get my
-
life right with God to start with.
-
I'm like you were when you were back in
-
college. I I you know had a love for
-
God, but I just didn't have time to hang
-
around with him. If your life isn't
-
where it needs to be with God, I want to
-
pray for you. Would you just raise your
-
hand? If you'd say that, my life's not
-
where it needs to be with God. Pray for
-
me. I want to get some things right
-
today. I want I want to know I'm in the
-
right place with God. I want to know my
-
life's where it needs to be. I want to
-
know I'm in position for God to fill me
-
up
-
and launch me out. If that's you, just
-
write Yeah. Just wave a hand at me. I
-
want to pray for you. Anybody here say,
-
"Pray for me. I want to make I I want to
-
get my life right with God. I'm not
-
where I need to be, should be, ought to
-
be, and I want to get to that place."
-
Anybody here?
-
Okay, I see a hand.
-
Good. Thank you. Anybody else? Not going
-
to embarrass you. I want to pray for
-
you. Anybody else?
-
I'll look across the room one more time
-
here. Say, "Pastor Mark, pray for me.
-
Pray for me." Good. Thank you. Anybody
-
else? Pray for me. Pray for me. God's
-
got You know, I don't know about you, I
-
knew from the time I was I knew the time
-
I was in second grade, God had something
-
for me to do.
-
Church I was in, God didn't give you
-
something to do. We didn't know what a
-
call was. Didn't know what he what what
-
a commission was. We didn't know.
-
But it never went away. When I was away,
-
it didn't go away.
-
I used to preach to my friends, you need
-
to get right with God. I wasn't right
-
with God. But I'd preach to them, you
-
need to get right with God. God's got
-
something for you to do. Some of them
-
are today. Some are pastoring churches.
-
Some are doing things.
-
If you'd say, "Pastor, pray for me.
-
God's got something. If there's
-
something I'm supposed to be doing, I
-
don't know what it is. Pray for me. I
-
want to I want to get my life right so I
-
can be in the middle of whatever it is
-
he's doing. I want to be a part of that.
-
Anybody else?
-
Hallelujah.
-
Maybe you'd say, "Well, I I you know, I
-
I know I know I'm right with God, but
-
I've never been filled with the Holy
-
Spirit.
-
I did that when I was in
-
been I'd been out of college for about a
-
year. Went to a Pentecostal church on a
-
Thursday morning. Got filled with the
-
Holy Ghost. Changed the course of my
-
life. If you never been filled with the
-
Holy Spirit, you need that power in your
-
life. Just raise your hand up. I want to
-
pray for you.
-
Good. Thank you, sir. Anybody else?
-
Thank you. Anybody else say, "Pray for
-
me. I want to be filled with the spirit
-
of God. I want to I want to be filled
-
with the Holy Ghost." Anybody else? Just
-
Just wave your hand at me.
-
Good. Thank you. Anybody else? Pray for
-
me. I want that. I want that power in my
-
life. I want to be able to speak in a
-
heavenly language to Almighty God. Speak
-
mysteries to him. Anybody else?
-
Hallelujah. All right. If you just look
-
up here at me, in fact, let's all stand
-
to our feet. If you raised your hand,
-
even if you didn't raise your hand, but
-
you wish you would have. No, you should
-
have. I'm not going to embarrass you. I
-
want to pray for you. If that's you,
-
come join me down here in the front.
-
Not going to come make I'm not going to
-
make you say anything uh publicly. Not
-
going to embarrass you. Wouldn't do that
-
for anything.
-
Good.
-
>> You want to be filled with the Holy
-
Ghost?
-
>> Absolutely.
-
>> Absolutely. Good. You're in the right
-
place, brother.
-
>> I want a gentle drop. Okay.
-
>> You want a gentle drop? You're going to
-
You'll be fine. Okay. All right. Good.
-
Good. Hang out here. Anybody else? We
-
had a number of other hands. If you
-
raised your hand, come join me. We'll
-
wait for you.
-
>> Feeling lonely.
-
He doesn't want to stay here by himself.
-
>> There we go.
-
>> Good.
-
>> You ready for a miracle today?
-
>> Yes, sir.
-
>> Good. Anybody else? Just a couple more
-
hands. We'll wait.
-
>> Anybody else?
-
I remember being in those meetings. I'd
-
stand back there, my mother would
-
work on me until I went to a meeting and
-
I'd sit way in the back and hang on to
-
the pew until my knuckles all turned
-
white until I could get out of there
-
until I finally went to the one where um
-
I didn't have a chair to hang on to. My
-
feet started moving and I was in I was
-
one of the first ones in the meeting.
-
Prayed a simple prayer and here we are
-
50 years later.
-
Anybody else? Seems like there a couple
-
more. You want to either get your life
-
right with God or you want to be
-
baptized in the Holy Spirit. That's if
-
that's you. Just wave your hand and
-
we'll wait for you.
-
All right, gentlemen. We're going to
-
pray for you. All right, if you just bow
-
your heads, close your eyes. I want to
-
pray for you. Father, I thank you for
-
these two gentlemen that have come to
-
receive from you. Never be they'll never
-
be the same.
-
I thank you, Father. Thank you for
-
meeting their need. Thank you. When they
-
leave today, they're going to know
-
they're right with you. They're going to
-
know they're baptized in the Holy
-
Spirit. They're going to know they can
-
pray in other tongues anytime they so
-
desire. I thank you, Lord. They'll never
-
be the same after today in the wonderful
-
name of Jesus. I thank you, Father, for
-
meeting every need they've got in a
-
supernatural way. I thank you in Jesus
-
name, Father. Amen. Amen. Amen.
-
Hallelujah. All right. Now, I could lead
-
you in a prayer here. Take some extra
-
time. That'd be good. But I'm going to
-
ask you
-
to go with this couple for a few
-
minutes. They're not going to keep you.
-
Doesn't take long. Gonna go right
-
through those doors just for a few
-
minutes. They're they're just going to
-
make sure you got what you came for.
-
>> Okay.
-
>> So, if you don't mind doing that, I
-
would appreciate it if if you came with
-
somebody. I'm sure they'll wait for you.
-
>> I I see they came with you. You came.
-
Yeah. Good. Good. Good. You You came
-
with them?
-
>> I sure did.
-
>> They'll wait. I know they'll wait. We'll
-
We'll make sure they
-
>> passing by on the street. Come on.
-
>> Picked you back up. I'm glad they did.
-
It's good to see you. Good to meet you.
-
>> God bless you.
-
>> Bless you. Good to meet you. If you'll
-
just follow this couple right here,
-
they're going to share a couple of
-
verses with you. Make sure you get what
-
you came for. Well, let's go ahead and
-
give them a hand.
-
>> I want to do one more thing while you're
-
still standing. I just spotted David
-
Hawkins in the crowd. Come on down here.
-
You all know David Hawkins. He's part of
-
us, but this is his last service uh
-
until August. He'll be back for Far for
-
the Nations, but he is headed to
-
Thailand, helping with the crusade
-
there, but he is moving to Japan.
-
>> He's going to be living. Yes. Go ahead.
-
We're excited.
-
This is something uh he's been praying
-
about and staying in touch with us
-
about. And uh he went he went in
-
December and and then back again in
-
February. He told us after his trip in
-
December, he said, "I felt something in
-
my spirit that I've never felt it." And
-
and he's been going to countries for
-
years. Something in my spirit that I I'm
-
telling you, he says, "I don't know what
-
it is, but I've got to go back soon, and
-
I believe I'll know." So, he went back
-
in February. We met with him. And he
-
said, "I'm supposed to move there." And
-
we're like, "Yes." So, we need to just
-
pray over him. Japan, uh, in the natural
-
has been a very, very hard place for
-
missionaries. But they said that about
-
France. That's not true in France
-
anymore. It won't be true in Japan.
-
>> They call it a missionary graveyard.
-
>> Well, that's what they used to call
-
France when I grew up. Yeah, that's what
-
they So now they now Japan is the new
-
missionary graveyard. But you used to be
-
used to be. So he is part of us. You
-
guys know his face around. He's travels
-
a lot. He's overseas a lot. But this is
-
home. And so I just I looked at him and
-
I was like, we need to we need to pray
-
over you. So congregation, stretch your
-
hands out. We are gonna pray and he is
-
going to obey.
-
>> Father, we thank you. Thank you, Father.
-
You're just looking for for people to
-
go.
-
>> Yeah.
-
>> You said the harvest is plenteous and
-
labors are few. And I thank you, Lord.
-
You're just looking for labors. You get
-
the people. You'll send the money.
-
You'll send the help. You'll send the
-
work. So, I thank you right now. Thank
-
you as this nation uh opens up
-
supernaturally opens up. Not by might,
-
not by power, but by the spirit of God.
-
So we pray for David. We thank you,
-
Lord, for the right connections.
-
>> Thank you,
-
>> the right connections, the right
-
connections,
-
the favor with God and man. We we we uh
-
we lay hands on him
-
>> and we put ourselves in agreement with
-
him. Thank you, Lord, that these doors
-
will open
-
>> and uh contacts will be made and uh
-
great things will be done.
-
>> There's a move of God that'll break out
-
in Japan. Yes.
-
>> Great move.
-
>> Great move. It was said after World War
-
II, "Send me a thousand missionaries and
-
we'll change the nation." But they
-
didn't go. Well, they're going to go
-
now.
-
>> Hallelujah. Hallelujah. All it takes is
-
one with the fire of God and things will
-
explode. So, we thank you for it. We lay
-
hands on him. We pray over them. Oh, we
-
>> thank you, Lord.
-
We thank you for it in Jesus name,
-
Father. Hallelujah. Amen. Well, I'll
-
tell you, let's reach our hands out and
-
thank God with them for a supernatural
-
favor into that land, into that nation
-
with God and man in Jesus name. Amen.
-
Amen.
-
>> Hug his neck. Tell him you love him.
-
Cover him in prayer. Yeah. And if you
-
feel led, do what we used to do when I
-
was a kid growing up called Pentecostal
-
handshakes. Put some money in his hand.
-
Bless you guys. Robert.
-
Amen.
-
What a great service today. Yes, we can
-
rejoice. Amen. Well, quickly, a couple
-
of reminders. Um, if you were a
-
first-time guest, uh, don't forget to
-
text to, uh, welcome 918-2157066.

-
church, our city, and our nation. Amen.

to come together and pray. Also, we have
-
Prime Timers Italian food.

March the 7th.
-
And I'm going to say this for ages 60

Italian food, right? And it's anyway, so
-
we're going to have potluck. So bring an
-
Italian dish, salad, bread, or dessert
-
to share. Sign up by March 4th uh at the
-
connect center or on the mobile app.
-
Also, we'll have pastoral care
-
assistance right here on the front to
-
pray with anybody needing prayer
-
concerning anything. We love you. We
-
want to pray with you. We want to agree
-
with you. And we want to see you get
-
your answers. Amen. So let's say our WOC
-
vision statement
