-
when the lights went out.
-
We know all that victory.
-
[singing and music]
-
The king of love had [singing] given up
-
his eyes.
-
It [music] was the darkest day in
-
history. [singing]
-
[music]
-
There on [singing] a cross they made for
-
sinners.
-
For every curse his blood atone.
-
Oh, one final breath and it
-
[music and singing] was finished.
-
But [singing] not the end we couldn't
-
know.
-
[music]
-
All [singing] the earth began to shake
-

When love was lost, he crossed eternity.
-
[singing]
-

-
Amen church.
-
>> Amen church.
-
[music] The reason you are here this
-
morning is because he is alive.
-
>> The reason why you have breath in your
-
lungs is because he is
-
>> alive.
-
>> He is alive.
-
>> Glory to God. Thank you, [music] Jesus.
-
Let's just lift our hands up one more
-
time and say, "Thank you, Jesus.
-
Thank you, [music] Jesus. You saved me,
-
redeemed me, washed me clean. I'm alive
-
because [music] of you. I have a family
-
because of you. I have a [music] future
-
because of you. He is alive. Amen,
-
church. Well, good morning. [music] Good
-
morning. Good morning. Good morning.
-
He's alive. You know, if there's one day
-
you should be extra [music] happy and
-
extra extra is today. There is a reason
-
for the joy. There's a reason why these
-
people are [music] here singing on this
-
stage. Not just because we don't have
-
anything else to do on Sunday. Is
-
because we have a purpose [music]
-
and his name is Jesus. Amen. Church, you
-
guys may be seated in the house for a
-
few minutes. We're so thankful that you
-
are [music] here this morning at World
-
Outreach Church. God is good. God is
-
good. God is good. [music] Well, this
-
morning, as I said, we're here with
-
purpose. We're here because there was
-
someone who died, was buried, and rose
-
again. The tomb is empty.
-
>> And that is why we are here. The church
-
exists to glorify his name. But apart
-
from just the glorification of his ma
-
name, we are here because we understand
-
that together we are better. That
-
together we are stronger. And that is
-
the beauty of the local church. This
-
morning, we want to welcome all of the
-
firsttime guests. If you I know it's a
-
little awkward sometimes. I've been in
-
that place before myself. I remember
-
when I first went to church there in
-
California. I'm like, why are these
-
people having me stand up? Makes no
-
sense whatsoever.
-
But this is just a way for us to first
-
identify who you are, but then to
-
celebrate you because you are the most
-
important person in this place apart
-
from Jesus Christ. You are so special.
-
And it's just a way for us to love on
-
you, a way for us to connect with you.
-
So if it's the first time that you are
-
in the house, in this house, in this
-
church, we would love for you just to
-
stand real quick. Real quick, real
-
quick. Stand to your feet. Stand for
-
your feet. Come here,
-
Charles. You looking fresh.
-
So if if I'm here doing this, [music]
-
pastor don't care. Get up. Stand up.
-
Give a hug to all these Tim back up.
-
Everyone stand up. I want you to give a
-
hug to these people. Come on. Come on.
-
Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on.
-
Welcome in the house. Welcome in the
-
house. You are you you ain't new. You I
-
I know who you are. Welcome in the
-
house. I know that's new for a lot of
-
you. Like what is going on? It's time.
-
It's time.
-
We are so happy for you and we want to
-
connect with you. So, [music] as always,
-
there's ways in which we can grow closer
-
to you. If you would like to text
-
welcome 918215,
-
it's here on the screen 7066.
-
We would love to talk with you. We have
-
people called pastoral care. We have
-
pastors and leaders here to walk with
-
you, to talk with you, to pray with you.
-
The beauty of the local church is to
-
connect, grow, and help you go deeper
-
with Christ. That is the beauty of the
-
ecclesia. And so we want to welcome you.
-
And after service we have something
-
super special for you. Super special
-
prepared for you. We have out there in
-
the coffee place some coffee time of
-
connection. And we are getting ready for
-
something real special in these new
-
days. There are meetings that we had. We
-
had a holy spirit meeting. Holy spirit
-
healing meeting was incredible. We want
-
to connect with you with that. We have
-
youth. We have young adults. There we
-
have kids. They have so many places for
-
you to grow your family. Well, I don't
-
have a family yet. That's the beauty of
-
the local church. You'll learn about
-
family. You'll learn about connection.
-
You'll learn about how to be a disciple
-
to go out into all the world and preach
-
the gospel. That's why WC exists. And so
-
this morning, if again, if it's your
-
first time, maybe you didn't stand up. I
-
get it. It's okay. But don't leave here
-
without connecting with somebody. After
-
service, we're going to be here up
-
front. We're going to be in the lobby.
-
There's some people with crash. Uh, I
-
said it in Portuguese. The tags,
-
lanyards. Yeah, there it is. Find us.
-
Don't leave here the same way you came
-
in. Don't leave here without connecting
-
to somebody.
-
Yesterday, we had an incredible
-
outreach, an incredible time, and I just
-
want to honor all those who served. It
-
was so special, the beginning of
-
something incredible.
-
And so we want to say thank you for all
-
the volunteers for coming. We have a
-
quick video that we'd love to show of
-
what took place and what is going to
-
continue to take place here in this city
-
and beyond as we reach out. Outreach
-
world outreach church the middle name of
-
our church outreach into this city and
-
beyond. Amen. Let's watch this video
-
real quick before we take up ti and
-
offerings.
-
all walks of life.
-
But the thing is is you sew a seed and
-
at some point
-
what does seeds do?
-
>> Every single seed grows. Every one of
-
them.
-
And the thing is is [music] they may not
-
work through this Sunday, but it may be
-
the following Sunday or the following
-
Sunday because because that's the moment
-
that they need it in the most because I
-
can really use some help right now.
-
Is there anybody here says, "I've never
-
given my heart to [music] Jesus and I
-
want to do that."
-
Is there anybody here right now? Just be
-
brave enough. [music] Thank you. Thank
-
you. Is there anybody else that says
-
that says I want to give my heart I want
-
to give my life to Jesus. Anybody else?
-
Hey buddy.
-
>> Hey both of y'all. Praise God. That's
-
what's up. Listen. [music] Listen. The
-
Bible says heaven is going crazy for you
-
guys right now. Crazy for you right now.
-
I want to pray a prayer. Is there
-
anybody? [music]
-
>> This will be one of the funnest
-
outreaches we have ever done at this
-
church. And we're going to look back and
-
say, "Wo, that was so so fun. Let's do
-
it again.
-
>> 1 2 3 4.
-
LET'S GO.
-
>> AMEN.
-
What a wonderful thing.
-
What a wonderful thing. You know, we're
-
not just about numbers, but something
-
that I've learned in business is data
-
doesn't lie. Numbers don't lie. And it's
-
something that is so important to us
-
because each one of those 900 plus
-
people that walk through is a soul. Is
-
someone that's so special. We don't do
-
outreaches without purpose. That's
-
something that we are always so focused
-
and locked in is what is the purpose?
-
What is the reason behind this? And the
-
reason is is that every single one of
-
those people have a story. And as we
-
walk with them through that story and as
-
we help them understand that story,
-
there's transformation in that. And so
-
that is the reason why we did this
-
outreach is to show up for the communion
-
and say, "We're here. We're here not
-
just to preach. We're not just here to
-
to to, you know, point the finger or
-
say, "Hey, you're not doing that right.
-
You're not doing that right." We're here
-
to walk with you and help you through
-
and navigate through the complexities of
-
life. And that is why we're so thankful
-
that we had the opportunity to reach the
-
city.
-
And it was so beautiful. I was talking
-
with Pastor Matlock. We had 14 plus
-
salvations. And that that we should
-
celebrate.
-
families being transformed. History's
-
being redefined forever.
-
God is good all of the time. In
-
missions, we're we're taught, you know,
-
yes, you give people fish. We gave
-
people a fish that day, but it's
-
important we teach them how to fish, but
-
sometimes you got to get them through
-
the door to teach them how to fish. Give
-
them a fighting chance.
-
>> And so, again, we want to welcome you.
-
If you're one of those people, welcome
-
home.
-
>> This is your home. and we will walk with
-
you. We will fight alongside of you in
-
this journey. Amen. You guys open your
-
Bibles real quick in 2 Samuel 24 verse
-
24.
-
It's a real interesting context. I won't
-
go too deep into it, but there's a a
-
portion of the scripture that stands out
-
to me. This is David
-
once again being an incredible type of
-
shadow of Christ.
-
And he says something interesting
-
because, you know, the story basically
-
is, you know, King David, he wanted to
-
build an altar
-
to the Lord to stop a plague. And then
-
there's a man that showed up and said,
-
"Hey, I'll give you all of these
-
things." What a wonderful thing is
-
wanting to be generous. There's
-
something that David specifically said
-
that just touches my heart, not just as
-
a pastor, but as an entrepreneur as
-
well. He said this. He says, "I will not
-
sacrifice
-
to the Lord
-
my God."
-
>> That's it. My God, burnt offerings that
-
costs me nothing.
-
I will not give an offering to the Lord
-
that which costs me nothing. So he
-
understood that there was something that
-
he had to do. Some force had to be given
-
in order to stand and say, "God, this is
-
my offering to you. May it be holy and
-
pleasing to you. This costs me
-
something."
-
And when we talk about money, sometimes
-
people get real uncomfortable when we
-
talk about finances. But we should be
-
talking more about godly finances, about
-
kingdom giving, because what we see here
-
is kingdom GIVING. IT'S NOT NATURAL
-
GIVING. IT'S KINGDOM giving because you
-
are a disciple of Christ. And if you're
-
not yet, you can learn how to be a
-
disciple of Christ and learn how to do
-
godly investing into the kingdom of God.
-
Because when you give into GODLY SOIL,
-
YOU SEE 900 people being reached. When
-
you give into godly SOIL, YOU SEE
-
NATIONS ALL around the world BEING
-
IMPACTED, CHURCHES RISING UP TO
-
ACCOMPLISH THAT which they've been
-
called to do. Forgive me, I'm a little
-
passionate. But when you TALK ABOUT
-
KINGDOM GIVING, I get excited because
-
I've been there on the mission field.
-
I've seen it with my own eyes. When
-
kingdom people invest into kingdom
-
ground,
-
>> that is the beauty of giving. David got
-
it and you better believe Jesus
-
understood it. That's why he gave
-
himself up as a sacrifice for humanity.
-
>> And look at what happened from that
-
sacrifice. The very soil, THE VERY PLACE
-
IN WHICH David had gave, he said, I will
-
pay for this was the very place that
-
Solomon would build the temple. meaning
-
you don't understand sometimes what
-
you're doing in the moment. But again,
-
divine divine word produces divine
-
results.
-
This is our responsibility, not God's.
-
So do your part and you better believe
-
that God will match it. He will walk
-
with you. Just activate [music] your
-
faith in Jesus name. There's ways to
-
give. Text WC Tulsa to 833-281-4456.
-
still blows my mind in the United States
-
how easy it is to give. We've all been
-
those missionaries. You know how hard it
-
is to give on the mission field
-
sometimes. WooC do that right there. Oh,
-
you can give online or you can do it the
-
old school way. We got envelopes and
-
there's so Yeah, I see you got that.
-
Raise it up. We raise it up high. That's
-
my man. Give. Give because it is our
-
great opportunity and privilege as
-
disciples to give. Amen. Everyone get
-
ready. Get ready for what's to come.
-
It's only going to get better. Amen.
-
Father of the living God, we thank you
-
for this morning. Bless [music] all
-
those that understand their
-
responsibility to tithe, to give, to
-
sacrifice [music] the wonderful things
-
that are ahead of us as the church
-
understands their great responsibility.
-
We thank you for this in Jesus mighty
-
name. And the church says,
-
>> "Amen."
-
>> Amen. As you guys finish giving, you can
-
stand as we continue in worship. We're
-
going to sing about the blood this
-
morning. I said we're going to sing
-
about the blood this morning. Anybody
-
[music] grateful for the blood? Anybody
-
know that the blood saved you? The blood
-
[music] cleansed you, washed you free of
-
all your sins. Amen. If it hadn't been
-
for [music and singing] the blood, where
-
would I be? Oh,
-
[music] come on. Let's just lift our
-
hands across the room. Oh, we worship
-
you, Lord. Thank you for the blood of
-
Jesus. The blood of the spotless lamb
-
[music] of God. We thank you. We thank
-
you. We thank you. We thank you, Lord.
-
[singing and music]
-
Oh,
-
see everything changed.
-
It's getting harder to [music] recognize
-
the person I [singing] was
-
before I encountered [music]
-
Christ. I don't walk like I used to.
-
Don't [music] talk like I used to.
-
I've been washed from the inside. Come
-
on. I've [music and singing] been
-
washed.
-
Hallelu. [singing]
-
Hallelu.
-
[music]
-
I know it was the blood. Could have
-
[singing and music] only been the blood.
-
Hallelu.
-
[music]
-
Hallelu.
-
I know [music] it [singing] was the
-
blood. Could have only been the blood.
-
Come on. Are you grateful for the blood
-
again?
-
>> I've been washed from the inside out.
-
[music]
-
See, I cannot [music and singing]
-
explain.
-
But nothing's more real than this. In
-
the presence [music and singing] of God.
-
When my heart experienced
-
when my shame hit the wayside [music]
-
and my sin met the most high. I was
-
washed [music] from the inside.
-
I was washed from the inside [music]
-
out.
-
Hallelu.
-
[singing]
-
Hallelujah.
-
[music]
-
I know it [singing] was the blood.
-

-
[music]
-
I know it was the blood. Could have only
-
been the blood. [singing]
-
>> Come on. If you know that the blood
-
still works, just lift up [music] a
-
praise right now.
-
>> I know that the blood still works.
-
>> Oh,
-
I know it still heals. It [music] still
-
saves. [singing]
-
>> I know the blood still works.
-
>> [music]
-
>> It's never been about performance,
-
perfection,
-
>> or striving [singing] for acceptance.
-
Let me tell [music] you,

-
by the blood. [music and singing]
-
Does anybody want to be worthy,

forgiven, [music]
-
justified [singing]
-
with living? Let me [music] tell you,
-
it's only [singing] by the love. Does

anybody want to be holy? Does anybody

for [music]
-
justifying?
-
[singing]
-
Let me tell you, [music]
-
it's only by the blood. And let the
-
[music] people of God [singing]

Hallelu.
-
[singing]
-
I [music] know it was the blood. Could
-
have only [singing] been the blood. If
-
the blood healed you, [music] if the
-
blood restored you, just shout his name.
-
Father, we're so grateful [music] for
-
the blood. Jesus, we're so grateful for
-
the blood.
-
>> Thank you, Jesus.
-
>> If it had not been for

[music and singing] the blood if it had

-
>> [music]
-
[music]
-
>> Hallelujah.
-
Well, welcome to Resurrection Sunday.
-
>> Hallelujah.
-
Glory to God. You know, Pastor Janet and
-
I've uh we've been to nations different
-
places around the world. I can think of
-
a couple places we've been to where uh
-
you we we'd be there maybe on Good
-
Friday and they'd have parades and
-
they'd have all kinds of statues and
-
have everything else and and have a
-
celebration for the death of Jesus, but
-
come Easter Sunday, everybody stayed
-
home. They'd celebrate the death, but
-
they didn't uh celebrate the
-
resurrection.
-
>> I'm thankful for the resurrection.
-
>> You know, it's um Yeah,
-
>> it's uh I'll come down here. The it's
-
it's all about the resurrection. If you
-
notice back through there, even when the
-
Apostle Paul went to uh uh Athens and he
-
preached about, you know, he preached
-
the message about the unknown god there,
-
some of the people said, "Well, we'll
-
come back and hear you a little bit
-
more. You know, some of this is good,
-
but we just don't understand about this
-
resurrection thing you're talking
-
about." You know, people didn't
-
understand what that was. They didn't
-
know about the resurrection of Jesus.
-
They didn't know. And if we stop and
-
think about it, it's um
-
it's all about the resurrection.
-
>> Amen.
-
>> It's all about the fact if he wouldn't
-
have been raised from the dead, we'd
-
still be in our sins.
-
>> If he wouldn't have paid that price, if
-
he wouldn't have been raised up, if God
-
wouldn't have raised him from the dead,
-
you know, in fact, we're celebrating
-
today. This is resurrection is the
-
greatest miracle ever to uh touch
-
humanity.
-
>> We're here. We're celebrating today.
-
We're celebrating what the the price God
-
paid for. The greatest miracle God ever
-
did was the resurrection.
-
>> You know, if you go back through there,
-
it wasn't the greatest miracle was not
-
creation. There was no resistance there.
-
>> In the beginning, God created the
-
heavens and the earth. The earth was
-
without form and void, and darkness was
-
upon the face of the deep. Spirit of God
-
moved upon that. There was no there was
-
no resistance. Well, it wasn't. That
-
wasn't the greatest miracle. You go a
-
little further. Greatest miracle.
-
greatest miracle wasn't when God
-
delivered uh Israel out of the bondage
-
of Egypt. He didn't really have a
-
problem with that. When he brought in
-
the greatest uh the Passover lamb, uh
-
all of Israel got out of there and all
-
the Egyptians came after him and they
-
all got flooded out in the Red Sea. It,
-
you know, God didn't have a problem with
-
that. So, that wasn't the greatest
-
miracle. And if you go on through there,
-
you just follow this through, we go on
-
and on and on. greatest miracle.
-
Greatest miracle was not even Jesus
-
coming into this earth. They didn't
-
know. They, you know, they were, they
-
knew he's coming, but they'd been
-
waiting 4,000 years for that since, uh,
-
Genesis 3:15 when God said, uh, I'll put
-
enmity, talking to the serpent, I'll put
-
emnity between thee and the woman,
-
between thy seed and he and her seed.
-
He'll bruise thy head, and thou shalt
-
bruise his heel. Well, you know, they
-
knew somebody was coming. They'd been
-
waiting 4,000 years. They didn't know
-
who they were looking for.
-
Jesus showed up and even then God had to
-
have the angels come and talk to the
-
shepherds out in the field and let them
-
know the redeemer had showed up. So
-
really it was kind of a surprise to
-
people. And so you go back through it
-
wasn't uh you know it wasn't creation,
-
it wasn't the Red Sea, it wasn't the
-
delivery of uh uh of Israel out of the
-
bondage of Egypt, you know, and you go
-
further and further and uh we can see
-
miracles all over. But uh uh it wasn't
-
even it wasn't even the death of Jesus.
-
It wasn't his death on the cross. Satan
-
been waiting 4,000 years for that. He
-
wanted he wanted to get Jesus. He wanted
-
to get him into his territory. Wanted to
-
get him down into the regions of hell.
-
He wanted to get that done. So all the
-
way through, we go through 4,000 years
-
that we're aware of. And all through
-
that time, there was no uh there was
-
really no not much resistance. The devil
-
had a few things he tried to get away
-
with, but he wasn't very wasn't very
-
good at it. And if you go back through,
-
we see that God did all these, you know,
-
miracles, but the greatest one, the
-
greatest miracle he came to was the
-
resurrection
-
>> because every other miracle, it was
-
okay. When we when he came to the
-
resurrection, there was resistance.
-
Every devil in hell wanted to stop the
-
resurrection of Jesus. They they they
-
didn't mind getting him. They just they
-
just wanted to keep him because, you
-
know, Satan knew that if there was one
-
raised from the dead, if there was one
-
firstborn of a new creation, then there
-
might be a second born.
-
>> There might be a third born. There might
-
be a fourth born. And you get 2,000
-
years down the road. And then there's
-
you and me.
-
>> And all of a sudden, there's all these
-
these new people. Jesus being the
-
firstborn of uh many brethren, the
-
firstborn of a new creation. when um
-
when all of a sudden Satan, you know, I
-
don't know. We don't know for sure, but
-
I wouldn't be surprised if if when Jesus
-
died on the cross, I wouldn't be
-
surprised if God had every devil in hell
-
take a sbatical
-
and say, "Come on together. We got to
-
make sure we've got him now. We got to
-
make sure we don't lose him. We've got
-
him. We got to make sure we keep him."
-
He really didn't know what he'd gotten
-
into. The princes of this world didn't
-
know what they were getting into. if
-
they had known the Bible said they would
-
not have crucified the Lord of glory.
-
They didn't know what was going on. And
-
so we look down the road and we see that
-
it was it was the death, it was the
-
burial, it was all about redemption, but
-
it had to be finished up with
-
resurrection.
-
>> They had we had to have a new creature.
-
We had to have a firstborn of a new
-
creation. We had Jesus had to be not
-
only died and buried, he had to be
-
raised from the dead.
-
>> And so we look back through and we see
-
that here's God's plan. death, burial,
-
and resurrection of Jesus. And [snorts]
-
if you look back through um God told us,
-
I mean, like I said, Genesis 3:15, God
-
said, "I'll put enmity between thee and
-
the woman." That's of course when Adam
-
and Eve had sinned. I'm going to put
-
emnity between thee and the woman,
-
between thy seed and her seed. He'll
-
bruise thy head, thou shalt bruise his
-
heel. God prophesied that there would
-
come a redeemer. He predicted somebody
-
that would come and set all this right.
-
But they didn't know who they were
-
looking for. And all through creation,
-
all through 4,000 years, God kept making
-
these comments of what Jesus uh Isaiah
-
61 talked about Jesus ministry. We see
-
what his name would be. His name shall
-
be called wonderful counselor,
-
everlasting father, mighty God, prince
-
of peace. He said these things all the
-
way through, but all the way through you
-
just you could see somebody's coming.
-
They just didn't know who was going to
-
be or what he's going to look like. And
-
so they just kept watching, kept looking
-
for him, kept looking for the redeemer
-
to come. Okay? And when they got when
-
Jesus finally showed up here, they knew
-
they finally, you know, even the devil
-
said, "We know who you are. You're the
-
you're the son of God." Jesus disciples
-
finally got him. Even Peter,
-
he said to Peter, "Who who do men say I
-
am?" Well, some say that you're John the
-
Baptist, Jeremiah, one of the prophets.
-
He said, "Who do you say I am?"
-
Peter suddenly he said, "Well, you're
-
the Christ, the Son of the living God."
-
Jesus said, "Blessed art thou, Simon
-
Barjonah, for flesh and blood's not
-
revealed this unto thee, but my father
-
which is in heaven, and I'll give unto
-
thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven,"
-
and so on. Suddenly, Jesus disciples
-
have figured out who they're with.
-
They're with the son of God. They
-
they're with the redeemer, the one
-
that's been prophesied, predicted, the
-
one they've been looking for, the one
-
they've been waiting for. But if you go
-
back through there, Isaiah told them
-
what what this should look like. Isaiah
-
said back there 700 years before Jesus
-
came to this earth, took on flesh, and
-
dwelt among us. You look back there,
-
Isaiah 53:1 says, "Who's believed our
-
report? And to whom is the arm of the
-
Lord revealed?" You get down there to
-
the fourth verse and said, "Uh, surely
-
he bore our grief and carried our
-
sorrows." But really, the original text
-
should say, "Surely he bore our sickness
-
and carried our pains." Isaiah is
-
telling them what this redeemer is going
-
to do, what he's going to purchase, what
-
he's going to pay for. Then he goes on
-
in the fifth verse and he said, um,
-
says uh, but he was wounded for our
-
transgressions. He's looking 700 years
-
down the road talking about he's got a
-
vision. He's seeing what the redeemer is
-
going to look like, what the Messiah is
-
going to look like. He says back there
-
said, um, but he he's wounded for our
-
transgressions. He's bruised for our
-
iniquities. The chastisement of our
-
peace was upon him and with his stripes
-
we are healed. He looked down the road
-
700 years and saw somebody's going to
-
come take care of our sin problem.
-
Somebody's going to come take care of
-
our our mind problems. Somebody's going
-
to come and take care of our physical
-
healing issues and problems. So he
-
predicted this, prophesied this. So when
-
Jesus showed up, they should have
-
recognized who was here. Most of them
-
didn't, but they should have. So anyway,
-
we get down the road here and you get
-
700 years after that and suddenly
-
suddenly Jesus comes to us born of a
-
virgin. He comes to planet earth. The
-
the angel said unto you is born this day
-
in the city of David a savior which is
-
Christ the Lord. All of a sudden Jesus
-
arrives. He shows up. Okay. The
-
redeemer's here. The one that's going to
-
pay the price.
-
>> And so they're all watching. They're
-
they're looking. Um he's working signs,
-
wonders, and miracles. doesn't start
-
till he's 30 years old. But then we see
-
him at approximately 30 years old when
-
he steps into the fullness of his
-
ministry. Spends about three and a half
-
years healing the sick, cleansing the
-
leper, raising the dead, casting out
-
devils. He's doing everything he said he
-
would do from Isaiah 61. He is the
-
redeemer. He is the the Messiah. He's
-
the one that paid the price. And so, um,
-
we look at him there and we see in
-
He calls his disciples together to have
-
the Passover.
-
Okay? And he brought them all together.
-
This is just I mean we're coming right
-
up on the crucifixion. We look there and
-
and he brings them all together and he
-
said this this this this
-
cup, this is the new covenant in my
-
blood. This bread, this is my body
-
broken for you. He's trying to explain
-
to him. They have been prophesying,
-
predicting about the redeemer to come
-
for quite a few hundred years. And so
-
Jesus is having the Passover with them.
-
And about that time, you know, of
-
course, Judas went, he goes and and uh
-
sells Jesus out for a price.
-
And um we see that Jesus, they they take
-
him out. He's beaten. He's stoned. Uh
-
he's he's uh they put a crown of thorn
-
thorns on his head. Um they're they're
-
uh they took this his robe off, put a
-
purple robe on him and they put the
-
crown of thorns on him and then we see
-
they they take a a whip and they they
-
beat him. Best we can tell cat of nine
-
tales. They beat his you know by his
-
stripes we were healed. We can look all
-
through there and see Jesus uh is paying
-
the price. The redeemer, they're taking
-
him. They're beating him. They're making
-
fun of him. They're making fun of the
-
gifts of the spirit. They're pro saying
-
prophesy unto us. They're they're
-
they're predicting all these things.
-
They're making fun of his anointing, his
-
calling, his ministry. And then they
-
take him and they nail him to the cross.
-
They take the price. They He pays the
-
price. They take him. They nail him to
-
the cross. Putting nails in his in his
-
feet, nails in his hand. Okay. They've
-
nailed him to the cross. He's up there
-
and um at about uh 9:00 in the
-
afternoon,
-
about 9:00 in the afternoon, he cries
-
out and he says he says uh my God, my
-
God, why have you forsaken me? What's he
-
talking about? He had he had to pay the
-
price for us. Jesus was our substitute.
-
>> Okay? He he had to take where I was.
-
>> Yeah.
-
>> Okay. I don't know about you, I remember
-
number of years ago now I was my life
-
was not in a good place. In fact, it was
-
a pretty bad place. I wasn't sure where
-
things were headed. I wasn't sure what
-
choices I was going to make. And I was u
-
in a partic particular bad setting at
-
one one time and I wasn't sure where
-
things are going to go and I heard a
-
voice say, "Yeah, but if you go that
-
direction, where are you going to go?"
-
Now, I'd been in church. I heard of
-
Jesus. I knew that. I'd just never done
-
much of anything about it. And here I am
-
in a situation that could go one way or
-
the other. And I heard a voice and I it
-
was in my car and I heard this voice
-
say, "Yeah, but if you go that way,
-
where are you going to end up?" Scared
-
the daylights out of me. Slowed my car
-
down, drove back to campus, went into my
-
dorm, and I thought, "I'm going to have
-
to do something." It was months after
-
that before I made a decision. went to a
-
meeting,
-
walked an aisle, prayed a prayer, prayed
-
a simple prayer, November 1972, prayed a
-
simple prayer, said, "Jesus, I make you
-
Lord of my life." That's all there is to
-
it. Been walking with God ever since.
-
But there was a time it was it was
-
pretty scary because all of a sudden the
-
reality is there's an eternity out there
-
and I'm not real sure which way I'm
-
going. I don't know there's a heaven,
-
there's a hell. I know there's both of
-
them and that the choice is not up to
-
God. He made his choice when he
-
purchased us through the death, burial,
-
and resurrection of Jesus. He made his
-
choice. Now, we all make ours. I've
-
always been thankful. Thankful for the
-
Holy Ghost. Thankful for the spirit of
-
God getting my attention. Thankful he
-
didn't leave me alone. I had some
-
difficult months coming up on that time
-
when I wasn't sure what direction I was
-
going to go. But every time I'd try to
-
think about some other directions, I'd
-
think about, "Yeah, but which direction
-
you gonna go?" If you leave this place,
-
your last breath down here, what's your
-
next breath going to be?
-
>> You exhale down here, where are you
-
going to inhale? There is a heaven,
-
there is a hell that much I believed.
-
But anyway,
-
anyway, Jesus was he was nailed to the
-
cross. We know that from the scriptures.
-
And about 9:00, which is about 3:00 in
-
the afternoon, he cried out and said,
-
"My God, my God, why have you forsaken
-
me?" Well, what's he doing? quoting
-
scriptures. But the the issue was he he
-
and God had had to separate. He he had
-
to take my place. He had to go where I
-
was. I was away from God. He had to take
-
a place away from God. He had to take my
-
sin. Had to take my sickness. Had to
-
take my disease. Had to take my failure.
-
He had to take my everything.
-
>> Had to take my place. He said, "My God,
-
my God, why have you forsaken me?"
-
And then Bible said then he took a
-
breath and gave up the ghost. Well, he
-
took he went to the cross which is where
-
I deserve to go. He was away from God
-
which is where I was. He took my place
-
on the cross. He did all that and then
-
when he died they took his body and put
-
him into a grave. Okay. What? He went
-
where I deserved to go. He took my
-
place. He was my substitute.
-
And so he did all that and but it didn't
-
stop there. You know, in the mind of the
-
religious community, they put Jesus in
-
the tomb and he's raised again the third
-
day. We know that. But you know, Jesus
-
had to go somewhere.
-
Absent from the body present with the
-
Lord for a believer. He had to go
-
somewhere. He had to take our place. He
-
had to take my place. Okay? So when they
-
took his body and put it into the tomb,
-
rolled the stone there, his body was in
-
there, but his spirit man had to go
-
where I deserve to go.
-
>> Bible said in the book of Acts, I will
-
not leave my soul in hell, nor suffer
-
thy holy one to see corruption. He had
-
to go where I deserve to go. Jesus took
-
my place there. He became what I was
-
before I could become what he is. He
-
took my place in separation from God. He
-
took my place where there was sickness
-
and there was disease and there was fear
-
and there was failure. He had to take
-
all my place. That's who I was. That's
-
where I was. And somebody had to take
-
that place. And Jesus did it. He was my
-
substitute.
-
And so when they put him in his body
-
into the tomb, his spirit man had to go
-
somewhere. Well, the spirit man had to
-
go where I was destined to go. Okay? And
-
so we know from the scriptures, thou
-
will not leave my s my soul in hell, nor
-
suffer thine holy one to see corruption.
-
paid the price, took my place, went into
-
the depths of hell. Okay, but you know,
-
nobody had ever been there and come
-
back. I know he was the son of God. I
-
know he was Jesus, but he had taken that
-
place and laid it aside. When he said,
-
"My God, my God, why have you forsaken
-
me?" He took that place and left it
-
aside. He went to a place nobody had
-
ever come back from. Nobody'd ever been
-
separated from God and come back. Nobody
-
had been spiritually dead and come back
-
to the father. Nobody had gone into the
-
depths of hell and come back in. Nobody
-
had ever been there.
-
Jesus took our place there and he went
-
into the depths of hell where you and I
-
belonged to go. Every one of us, the
-
Bible said, "For all have sinned and
-
come short of the glory of God." And the
-
wages of sin is death.
-
We've all missed it there. We'd all made
-
mistakes. We all hit the what we call
-
the age of accountability. We all hit a
-
place where all of a sudden we knew
-
there's a difference between right and
-
wrong. And every one of us when we hit
-
that place, every one of us chose wrong.
-
>> Just the way it worked. So everybody was
-
away. And Jesus didn't go for himself.
-
He didn't go just for me. He went for
-
the He went for the whole world.
-
>> For God so loved the
-
>> world, he gave his only begotten son. He
-
took my place. He took our place. He
-
took our place down. Went into the
-
depths of hell on the basis of the word
-
said, "You'll not leave my soul in hell,
-
nor suffer your holy one to see
-
corruption." He went into the depths of
-
hell believing God raised him back up.
-
Nobody had ever been there before. Yeah.
-
Well, he was the son of God. I get that.
-
But nobody had ever been to that place
-
before. He went down in there. He was
-
down there for three days. Now, I don't
-
know what it was like down there. I've
-
read different accounts of what people
-
think, but it doesn't make a whole lot
-
of difference to me. Jesus went down in
-
there. He took my place for three days.
-
He was down in the in the regions of
-
hell, in the regions of the damned, in
-
the regions of the devil's territory. He
-
was down where Satan was the the god
-
down there in in the the the regions of
-
hell. Took my place down there three for
-
three days. But at the third day,
-
>> the third day,
-
>> but the third day,
-
>> what's a song say? But on the third day,
-
the angel did tell Jesus is alive and
-
well. Something like that.
-
>> But the third day, God said, "The price
-
has been paid. Redemption's been
-
purchased. All of humanity had been
-
saved. All humanity had been purchased,
-
paid for. All humanity, somebody had to
-
pay for us. We couldn't do it for
-
ourselves. Somebody had to take our
-
place. Jesus went and took the place of
-
humanity down there. The greatest
-
miracle we've ever seen was redemption.
-
the death, burial, and resurrection of
-
Jesus where God reached down to Adam,
-
took every sin, every iniquity, every
-
sickness, every disease, every problem.
-
Took all that and pulled it all the way
-
up to the cross. Then he reached down to
-
today,
-
took our place, reached down to the end
-
of time out ahead of us, reached down
-
into the future, pulled it all back. He
-
reached into the beginning, pulled it up
-
to the cross, reached to the end, pulled
-
it back to the cross, and he laid it all
-
on Jesus.
-
All the sickness, all the disease, all
-
the sin, all the weakness, all the fear,
-
everything. God took all that from all
-
of time, all of humanity, the worst
-
person on earth,
-
the worst individual on earth. You go
-
back through there, you take some of
-
the, you know, you go to to to Hitler
-
and Mussolini and you go people that are
-
known for being really bad guys. Their
-
price was paid, too. God took their sin,
-
took their iniquities, took took
-
everything they' done, brought it all
-
together, laid it on Jesus, he paid for
-
the sin and sickness and disease and
-
mistakes of all of humanity.
-
>> Paid the price for us. And so Jesus,
-
when that was laid on him and he went
-
into the depths of hell, he took my
-
place so that later on I could take his
-
place.
-
>> He became sin. God laid on him the
-
iniquity of us all. He had paid all
-
that. Imagine all that. Jesus, who was
-
with the father from the beginning, let
-
God take all that by choice, God take
-
all that you and I had ever done, a
-
mistake, every mistake we'd ever made,
-
laid it all. Laid it all on Jesus. He
-
paid that price.
-
And for three days, he was in that spot.
-
Okay. What took place down there? I
-
don't know. I've heard, like I said,
-
I've heard a lot of different
-
explanations. I'm not sure I believe any
-
of them. Heard a lot of people say a lot
-
of different things. But the third day,
-
>> but on the third day, God said, "All
-
right, it's enough. Price has been paid,
-
blood's been shed, redemption's been
-
purchased, the price has been paid for
-
the sins of humanity. All have sinned
-
and come short of the glory of God."
-
Somebody's already had to do that. I
-
remember a
-
talking to a relative of mine a number
-
of years ago. I'd just gotten my life
-
right with God. And I went to see some
-
relatives and one was he was pretty
-
pretty rough guy. Okay. Didn't live real
-
good. And I was seeing some some family
-
members. Took a couple days to spend
-
with them. Good. They were actually good
-
close friends actually. And uh I I got
-
to talking to this one individual and I
-
said, "You know, you need to get your
-
life right with God." He said, "Yeah, I
-
know, but I can't." I said, "No, no, I"
-
I said, "I'm I'm serious. you need to
-
get your life right with you need to get
-
saved. He said, I know I can't. I said,
-
no, no, but you need to get saved. You
-
need to make Jesus Lord of your life. He
-
said, I can't do that. I said, why can't
-
you do that? He was probably maybe in
-
his 50s at the time. I'm not real sure.
-
I said, why can't you do that? He said,
-
he said, I just can't. I said, why can't
-
you do that? He said, I've made so many
-
mistakes.
-
I said, well, join the club.
-
>> We've all been floating in that boat. He
-
said, I've made so many mistakes. I I I
-
I can't do that. And I said, "Well, you
-
know, this guy named Saul of Tarsus was
-
having Christians put into prison and
-
taken and given to the lions." I said,
-
"Had people killed? Have you had people
-
killed?" He said, "Well, no, but I still
-
it wouldn't be right for me to get
-
saved. It wouldn't be right for me to go
-
to heaven. It wouldn't be right for me
-
to it just wouldn't be right." I said,
-
"Why not?" He says, He says, "Because
-
I've done so much wrong." And I said,
-
"You and everybody else." He said,
-
"Yeah, but you understand. You got to
-
understand." He said, "Somebody's got to
-
pay for that." And I said, 'You're the
-
first one I've ever heard that's got
-
that one right.
-
>> Somebody's got to pay Somebody's got to
-
pay. I can't I couldn't pay for my
-
mistakes. Couldn't pay for the sins I'd
-
committed. I couldn't pay for the stupid
-
things I'd done. Couldn't pay for the
-
people that were hurt. I couldn't do
-
that. But somebody had to.
-
>> All have sinned and come short of the
-
glory of God. The wages of sin is
-
>> death, separation from God. Okay? But I
-
couldn't fix that. I couldn't do
-
anything about it. And this individual
-
was smart enough to say, "I know. I know
-
I've made so many stupid mistakes and
-
somebody's got to pay for that." And I
-
said, "The best part is you're right.
-
Somebody has to. But the really good
-
part is somebody already did.
-
>> You're never going to go to hell because
-
of the sins you committed. The only
-
reason you'll go to hell is because you
-
don't receive the one that paid for your
-
sins.
-
>> Price has been paid. Blood's been shed.
-
Somebody's paid for everything you
-
everything you've all everything you've
-
ever done. Somebody's already paid.
-
Jesus came, saw you down here, the mess
-
you are, saw who you are, saw what
-
you've done, and took all that upon
-
himself, went to the cross, and died.
-
And he took your, if you were the only
-
one on earth, Jesus would have paid for
-
your mistakes.
-
>> So,
-
>> now, he didn't do anything with it that
-
day. I don't know. He's He's gone over
-
number of years ago and stepped over,
-
and I hope he thought about it quite a
-
bit. I know a lot of his family's gotten
-
saved since then, but I just thought,
-
you know, he uh he all he could remember
-
is I've made so many mistakes. Well, we
-
all have.
-
But Jesus, when he went to the cross and
-
died, he went down into hell down there
-
because he was taking our place. He went
-
into the prison I was destined to go
-
into. Okay? Took my place there. But the
-
third day,
-
>> third day, God said, "All right, the
-
price has been paid. The blood's been
-
shed. Redemption's been purchased.
-
Somebody's already paid for the sins of
-
humanity. Somebody's done the job. And
-
now, let's get this fixed. And when he
-
did that, the Holy Ghost, Jesus was
-
quickened in spirit. The Holy Ghost went
-
down into the regions of hell. Think
-
about that. Now, you've got Jesus the
-
son, you got the Holy Ghost, you got
-
twothirds of the Godhead in the regions
-
of hell down there. And all of a sudden,
-
Jesus gets quickened. He went from
-
spiritual death to spiritual life. All
-
of a sudden, he took a breath and became
-
a new creature in Christ. Firstborn of a
-
new creation. Firstborn among many
-
brethren. All of a sudden, he took a
-
breath and he is a new creature. And
-
think about that. In the regions of
-
hell, you got the firstborn of a new
-
creation.
-
>> He's in that place. And you know when
-
that happened, all of a sudden
-
everything changed.
-
>> He's got the Holy Ghost on him and in
-
him. He's got the spirit of God. And the
-
Bible said over there in Hebrews chapter
Hebrews 2 chapter mention
-
2, it said uh for as much as the
-
children are partakers of flesh and
-
blood, he also himself likewise took
-
part of the same that through death he
-
might destroy him that had the power
-
over death, that is the devil. What did
-
he do? He went there. He went into the
-
regions. I think he went into Satan's
-
throne room in hell.
-
>> Went down in there as a new creature in
-
Christ. Went in there and tore the place
-
up. Took the keys of death and hell.
-
destroyed him that had the power over
-
death, defeated and conquered the one
-
that had the keys of death and hell. He
-
paid the price.
-
>> He went in there and took that all
-
apart. And then when he came out, the
-
Bible said in Colossians chapter 2, and
Colossians 2 chapter mention
-
having spoiled principalities and
-
powers,
-
>> he not only whipped the devil in his
-
territory, he didn't kill him, he just
-
dismembered him. [laughter]
-
>> And then he spoiled principalities and
-
powers. Every devil, every You'll never
-
run into a devil that's not already
-
defeated. That's right.
-
>> I've heard people say, "Oh, you know,
-
there's big devils, little devils,
-
medium devils." No, there's only one
-
kind of devil. There's defeated devils.
-
>> Yeah, but the devil's been giving me
-
trouble. We'll give some back because
-
Jesus whipped him 2,000 years ago.
-
>> Jesus went into his own territory, went
-
into the his throne room, took the keys
-
of death and hell, conquered him,
-
whipped him, took away all of his
-
dominion, all of his power, all of his
-
authority, spoiled principalities and
-
powers. got all that done and then he
-
came shooting up out of there.
-
>> The women went to the uh tomb.
-
>> And when they got there, there was a guy
-
sitting there, an angel said, "Don't
-
look for him here. He's not here. He's
-
risen."
-
>> Early the early the third day, he came
-
bouncing up out firstborn from the dead.
-
>> Paid the price for us. Now, I don't know
-
about you, I've read that over for many
-
years. I was so glad November 1972, I
-
was so glad I could read that and find
-
out he paid the price for me.
-
>> That would have been me. That was me
-
that deserved to go down there. That was
-
me that deserved everything that came on
-
him. That was me that deserved to pay
-
for what he paid for. That was me that
-
made the mistakes. That was me that did
-
the dumb things. That was me that sinned
-
and came short of the glory of God. That
-
was me that did all that. But thank God,
-
God so loved me that he sent his son to
-
pay the price for me. And when Jesus
-
paid that price, I he took where I was
-
going so I can go where he is.
-
>> He was the firstborn of of a new
-
creation. And 2,000 years down the road,
-
I got to be one of those newborn ones,
-
>> new creature in Christ.
-
>> It's a it's a choice. There's a move of
-
God taking place in in the world right
-
now. It's happening in a lot of nations.
-
It's happening in a lot of cities. saw a
-
a deal on the news yesterday. There's a
-
newscaster that's doing a a a video
-
thing on the move of God, a move of God
-
spiritually speaking in America. It was
-
Jews, it was Gentiles, it was it was it
-
was Catholics, you name it. And he's
-
bringing all these people together and
-
showed all these videos of all these
-
young people with their hands raised.
-
They're getting water back. Something
-
something's happening.
-
>> But thank God we get to make our choice.
-
We get to it's not well I'll just die
-
and see where God's going to send me.
-
No, you are already destined for hell
-
because of mistakes. We can make a
-
choice and make our destiny going into
-
heaven.
-
>> You can have that never wonder again
-
where you're going to go.
-
>> You don't have to wonder, you know, if I
-
take my last breath, where am I going to
-
go? If I take my last breath, if I have
-
a mistake, something happens, what
-
what's going to happen? You can set that
-
thing in motion right now.
-
>> That's your choice. I'm going to ask you
-
just to bow your heads just for a
-
moment.
-
just really wanted to take a few minutes
-
this morning to give invitations.
-
I remember the meeting I went to. I
-
still remember the I I can remember the
-
aisle way I walked down. I I think I was
-
one of the first ones down there. My
-
feet started moving and I couldn't get
-
them stopped. I took a walk down to the
-
front of that. I was one of the first
-
ones down there and they said, "Well,
-
we're going to have you do this, this,
-
and this." I said, "No, just leave me in
-
prayer. I know what this is going to
-
do." I was prayed. I prayed. I went back
-
in my car, went back to my college dorm
-
room. My roommate said, "Where you
-
been?" And I said, "I went to a
-
meeting." They said, "What kind of
-
meeting?" I said, "A church meeting."
-
Said, "What happened?" I said, "I got
-
saved." And they said, "Saved from
-
what?" I said, "I don't know what I got
-
saved from. I just know I'm not going to
-
hell anymore."
-
>> And you don't have to either because
-
you're going the same direction.
-
But with your heads bowed and your eyes
-
closed,
-
if you're here today and you you you may
-
not know where you're going. Maybe you
-
were raised in I was raised in church. I
-
just never did anything about it. Maybe
-
you don't know where you're going. Maybe
-
you were raised in church. Maybe you
-
never been to church.
-
But if you were to take your last breath
-
today, where would you end up? There is
-
an eternity.
-
Well, I don't know if I believe in
-
heaven or hell. It's out there. You
-
believe it or not, there's a heaven. and
-
there's a hell and the choice is going
-
to be up to you. Which one do you want
-
to go for? Once you get it settled, you
-
got it settled. If you're here today and
-
you've never made Jesus Lord of your
-
life, you've never gotten this settled
-
right, never become what the Bible calls
-
a new creature in Christ, new species of
-
being that never before existed. If you
-
if you don't have that settled, I want
-
to I want to pray for you. Okay? I know
-
we got some folks I saw that we got some
-
folks that are here with us for the
-
first time. We're so glad you're here.
-
>> But the most important thing is making
-
sure that you know where you're headed,
-
>> knowing where you're going. As I said,
-
there's a move of God going on around
-
the globe. Make sure you're in it.
-
Choice is up to you. So, I'm going to
-
ask you, heads bowed, eyes closed.
-
Christians are praying. If you're here
-
today, say, "Pastor, would you pray for
-
me? I need to get this right. If I died
-
today, I don't know where I'd go. If I
-
was to take my last breath down here
-
today, I'm not sure where my next breath
-
would be. I don't know what I believe. I
-
don't know where I'm going. Get that
-
settled. Get that settled. You'll never
-
have to wonder again. Never have to wake
-
up in the morning and wonder. Never have
-
to go to sleep at night and wonder. You
-
can get that settled. I know where I'm
-
going. I know whom I have believed and
-
I'm persuaded he's able to keep that
-
which I've committed unto him against
-
that day. If you've never invited Jesus
-
into your life, you're not right with
-
God. It's not his fault. He paid the
-
price. Shed the blood. Went to the
-
cross.
-
Paid for your sin. Iniquity, sickness,
-
disease. Paid for everything. If you
-
haven't done anything about that, now's
-
the time when you can. If that's you,
-
wave your hand at me. Not going to
-
embarrass you. I want to pray for you.
-
If you're here today and you say,
-
"Pastor, pray for me. I want to invite
-
Jesus into my life. I want to know where
-
I'm going.
-
I want to get this right.
-
I know people that are saved. I'm just
-
not. Maybe you don't know if you've got
-
it settled or not. I know a lot of
-
people know a lot of people. They just
-
didn't know if they had it settled or
-
not. They don't know. Well, I don't
-
know. I just don't know if I died. I
-
just don't know where I'd go. You might
-
as well get that settled before you
-
leave church this morning. It's your
-
choice. Anybody here, just wave your
-
hand at me. Say, "Pastor, pray for me. I
-
want to invite Jesus into my life. I
-
want to know I'm saved."
-
I remember sitting with a friend of mine
-
on the curb out in front of a grocery
-
store complex in my hometown.
-
Got talking to him. He had alcohol
-
issues. Had some other things going on.
-
I said, "Man, you got to get your life
-
right with God. I know what you're
-
running into. I know how you're living.
-
I know what your life's like. I
-
understand that. That's okay. God
-
doesn't have a problem with that. You
-
just need to do something about that."
-
He said, "Well, I'm trying to live
-
right." I said, "You can try all you
-
want. you're never going to be able to.
-
God paid the price.
-
I just want to
-
lead you in the right direction. I want
-
to pray with you. Couldn't get him to
-
listen.
-
Talk to him on the phone. He had
-
actually he and his wife a couple years
-
ago. Talked to him on the phone. They
-
live in another state. He was one of my
-
best friends growing up. Talked to him
-
on the phone and um his wife said, "Oh,
-
don't be concerned about him. He knows
-
who his savior is now."
-
I said, "Boy, okay, my job's done."
-
>> But if you don't know where you're
-
going, you haven't got it settled, you
-
don't know Jesus as your savior, I want
-
to pray for you. Maybe you've been to
-
church lots of times. Maybe you've never
-
been to church. Doesn't make any
-
difference. If you've never invited
-
Jesus into your life, I'm telling you
-
right now, uh, today, the Bible said,
-
"Today is the day of salvation. Now is
-
the accepted time. Today, if you hear
-
his voice, don't harden your heart.
-
Don't back away. Don't back off. Now is
-
a good time to jump in and join in with
-
the rest of us. If that's you, again, if
-
that's you, just wave your hand at me. I
-
want to pray for you.
-
Anyone in here? Maybe you've been away
-
from God. Maybe you've been what we call
-
backsliden. Things aren't right between
-
you and God. Maybe you grew up in
-
church, but you've been away. If that's
-
you, again, just want to give you an
-
invitation.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Glory to God. Praise God. Well, let's
-
all stand to our feet. Father, in the
-
name of Jesus, I pray right now. I pray
-
for this house. I pray, Father, for
-
everybody here, those that are watching
-
online, those that are on live
-
streaming. I thank you, Father, for
-
everybody that's in the place. Thank
-
you, Father, for those that have been to
-
church before, those that have never
-
been to church before. I pray for them
-
right now, dear Father. I pray for them.
-
I pray I just reach out for out of out
-
of my heart. I pray, Father, they'll
-
make the right decision. and they'll
-
make the right choice before they end up
-
taking their last breath. They'll make
-
Jesus Lord of their life. And I thank
-
you for it in the wonderful name of
-
Jesus. Dear Father, hallelujah. Blessed
-
be the name of the Lord. I pray that
-
you'll just keep stirring them. Let them
-
know, let them know there's a choice
-
they can make. Anytime, day or night,
-
all they've got to do is make a simple
-
prayer. Jesus, come into my heart. Make
-
me a new creature. I invite you in now.
-
I thank you for that in the wonderful
-
name of Jesus. Dear father, I thank you
-
in Jesus name. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
-
Amen. Amen. Amen. Well, let's lift our
-
hands and give God thanks.
-
[music]
-
Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. I do
-
know that some uh made some decisions
-
yesterday at the outreach and that is
-
amazing. One one major announcement I
-
want to give before we all uh get super
-
excited and check our raffle tickets.
-
Uh I wanted to make an announcement real
-
quick.
-
This Wednesday, April the 18th, we're
-
having water baptisms. Some of you have
-
signed up.
-
I'm sorry, the 8th. Not this not this
-
win. Uh yes.
-
You know what? Just look at the ETH.
-
just look at whatever day that is cuz
-
[music] clearly I'm not on earth. Uh so
-
whenever that's going to be, you know, I
-
don't April the 8th, we're having water
-
baptisms. If you made a decision, this
-
is the next step. And I tell you that so
-
many people have I I've heard testimony
-
after testimony. have seen testimonies
-
where people have gone that next step,
-
went through with the water baptism, and
-
not only did they know what they were
-
called to do, things that were were were
-
dog in their trail were broken off their
-
life, they come up a different person.
-
They come up a different person. Now,
-
listen, that's the next step in your
-
faith walk. So, make sure that you sign
-
up for that. You can scan that QR code
-
or you can hit the info center on your
-
way out and sign up for that. But that
-
is the 8th and we will be having that
-
coming up and that is a Wednesday night
-
just so you're aware. So make sure you
-
are aware as I again was not. Um you
-
know but but I'm going to uh raffle off
-
a little something. But before I do
-
that, if you are first-time guests, I
-
know we had more first-time guests
-
than than than stood up. And that's
-
okay. That's okay. Okay, it's a little
-
intimidating to stand up in front of a
-
group of a ton of people. However, if
-
this is your first time, please text the
-
word welcome to 918-2157066.
-
We want to bless you guys, okay? We want
-
to bless you guys and and we'll be right
-
out here in the cafe right after. We'll
-
we want to hook you up with something.
-
Okay? All right. So, uh I'm going to
-
now draw the raffle.
-
Thank you, Miss Felicia. All right. Here
-
we go. Here's [music] the ticket. Oh,
-
the drum roll is ready.
-
Hope you have your tickets ready. This
-
raffle is for a $500 Visa gift card.
-
[laughter]
-
All right. So, it's a yellow ticket,
-
just so you're aware. You should have
-
been able to trade that in on your way
-
in. The last three of this ticket
-
zero.
-
Look at your cards. Look at your card or
-
your tickets. Zero is the first letter
-
number. Jeez, where am I at? Six.
-
1
-
0 6 1. You got it.
-
[music]
-
You got it. Yeah. All right.
-
Hey,
-
that is a $500 Visa gift card. Thank you
-
so much for being here today. Hey, make
-
sure that you come back. We just like as
-
Pastor Ryan was saying, you know, this
-
place has something for everybody and no
-
two services are alike. Obviously, this
-
is Easter Sunday, so we're not going to
-
be doing this again, but but be here as
-
much as you can because you're going to
-
find out that what you need is in this
-
place, right? And we have community for
-
you. We have opportunities for you. The
-
outreach yesterday was amazing. I want
-
to again commend everyone, all of our
-
volunteers, 120 plus volunteers. Thank
-
you so much. Couldn't have done it
-
without you guys. We had 900 plus in
-
attendance and over 14 decisions were
-
made for Jesus yesterday. Just so you
-
guys are aware, we do have pastoral care
-
that'll be up here for you. If you need
-
prayer for anything in particular, come
-
right up. Um they'll be up here waiting
-
on you. We're going to say our vision
-
statement and you guys can go have an
-
awesome Easter Sunday with your family.
-
We live by the word. We're led by the
-
spirit. We love the world. Love you
-
guys. See you guys on Wednesday,
-
whatever day that is.
