Angels Working Among Us | Mark Brazee | World Outreach Church

Sister Janet and myself for 47 years.

Been getting ready for something. He has

to prepare us for what he's preparing

for us. Has to get us ready for what

he's getting ready. And And there's

something in the works. And, you know,

we could tell being over in at the

firebase in Ladispoli, which is right

outside Rome. And we we got word from a

meeting they just had in Normandy in

France with the the Lobers, the the

meeting they just had over there. I

think it was a was it four services they

had there?

I think it is something like that. Uh

had people come from all over that part

of France, came in and did like a three

or four day meeting. Something's

happening over there right now, but

something's happening here, too.

And uh I just wanted to

uh

I wanted to just kind of take a a

thought. We may get back to this another

time. We've kind of bounced on this

off and on over the past few months. But

um just keep getting the phrase the

ministry of angels.

The ministry of angels.

And with that being the case, I'm going

to go over to Matthew, get to the right

place here, to Matthew's gospel, the

um

18th chapter and the 10th verse. And I'm

going to read it. I think I'm going to

read this out of the uh

uh Passion Translation.

It says here, Jesus says, "Take heed

that you despise not one of these little

ones, for I say unto you that in heaven

their angels do always behold the face

of my father which is in heaven."

Well, that's just been kind of rolling

around for a couple days. And this is

Jesus talking. He said, "I'm telling

you, don't despise these little ones,

for I'm saying unto you that in heaven

in heaven their angels the the little

ones in heaven their angels do always

behold the face of my father which is in

heaven."

So, if you go back through there, Jesus

is basically letting them know that um

from

the time we come into this earth to the

time we go out of this earth, we've got

supernatural help. There are angels that

have been given charge over us. And

Jesus is telling them their angels are

always in the face of the Father.

And I thought about that. I looked back

at my own life. I remember numerous

times when

uh boy, when I was just starting to get

my life right with God, I don't know how

I knew it. They didn't talk about it in

the church we grew up in, but somehow I

knew there were angels out there. I knew

they were doing things. I knew they were

taking care of me. I had some encounters

with some things. Nobody had told me

what it was. I knew it was angels.

Didn't see them, didn't hear them, but I

knew they were there. And if you go back

here, Jesus says, "Take heed to this

these little ones. Don't don't don't

despise them because their angels are

always in the face of the Father which

is in heaven." And I thought, you know,

really a lot of people have a lot of

different ideas and different

persuasions about that. But what it

appears to be is that from conception

on, every one of us had an angel

assigned to our case. Now, we know there

are 10,000s * 10,000s and 1,000s of

1,000s, so we know God hasn't run out of

angelic help there.

But from really best we can tell, and

there's no way to prove yay or nay, best

we can tell at at conception, everyone

has an angel assigned to watch over and

take care of them. And that angel is

there from the beginning to the end. I

was thinking about

16th chapter, I think it is of the

Luke's gospel where it says there was a

certain rich man clothed in purple and

fine linen and fared sumptuously every

day. And there was a you know, there

were then there was a a beggar named

Lazarus that was brought and laid daily

at his gate, uh you know, basically to

ask alms. He was a beggar.

And to cut this short, it says the the

rich man died

and in hell he lifted up his eyes. We we

know that whole story, but it says, "But

uh Lazarus died and said and was carried

by angels into Abraham's bosom or we'd

say paradise." And he went over into

that place which was a location for Old

Testament saints before the gospel was

fulfilled and before they could go into

the fulfillment of heaven. And so you go

back through here, we can see where in

the beginning Jesus said their angels

are ever before the face of my father

which is in heaven. Then you get Lazarus

over here who's a beggar that I don't

know exactly how old he was, but angels

when he died angels carried him into

Abraham's bosom. So we see that even in

a lifetime those angels are still there

working.

And if you go a little bit further yet,

I'll give you

a story of um

my my grandmother. My my uh you've heard

about my dad. If you knew him, you knew

my dad. And uh but my mom, she was the

quiet side of the family. And uh but she

uh her mother uh my grandma Heims, uh

I don't know how old she was. I'm

guessing I I don't recall. I think it

was late 80s maybe, but but um she ended

up going up uh into a a nursing home

that really just short period of time

before she left and went over to heaven.

She sort of raised two families. An

amazing little lady. She was about 4'6

4'7. I don't know, something like that

about my mom's height. But she raised uh

two different families and uh and then

she got to where the kids were raised

and she

uh went into this

kind of a nursing home facility. And um

I I got word that one of my aunts uh

went to see her in there and uh said,

"You know, Mom, how's everything going?"

She said, "I just love it here. These

people are so nice to me. They feed me.

They take care of me." She said, "The

only thing is," she says, "there's been

a nice young blond-haired man standing

in that corner for about 3 days over

there waving at me, motioning for me to

go." And she said, "He's such a

nice-looking young man. I think I need

to go with him. So I'm I'm leaving out

of here." And I think it was within a

matter of hours they checked in on her,

had a smile on her face, and she checked

out and gone.

So what I'm saying is we've got angels

that are assigned to work with us on our

way in and we've got to sign we've got

angels that work with us until we go out

and then they take us to the other side.

Apparently escort us there. This guy

came. In fact, Pastor Janets parents

where they lived I think in their last

housing. Didn't they tell you one time

that a lot of people in that facility

when they get ready to go they they have

encounters. They they seem to see

angels. Well, people think they're just

hallucinating but a lot of the believers

when they get ready to leave they see

angels. They help us coming in but then

they help us when we go out.

And so the bottom line is from beginning

to end we've got an assignment to tap

into what God's prepared for us with

angelic help.

And to do that

it's so important that we do it. Most of

us most of us we spend our lives like

they say with our angels sitting by the

fire singing Kumbaya.

Not doing much of anything cuz we have a

It isn't that they can't figure out what

to do. It's we haven't given them. It's

not up to God to give them something to

do. It's up to us to give them something

to do.

And if you go back through there you

look at the scriptures and if you go to

Daniel the 9th and 10th chapters you go

back there in Daniel, you know,

he's fasting and he's praying. He's

mourning. He's need some some

information concerning the last days and

he's praying about this and suddenly an

angel shows up and says from the moment

you prayed the the answer came from the

the throne of God and God sent me. So,

for 21 days I've been

on my way here bringing the answer to

what you've been praying about but the

prince of Persia, you know, they're

still having trouble with that prince?

You still got the same country but

there's the same prince still over

there. Whole 'nother story. But anyway,

said but the prince of Persia detained

me for 21 days and I had to wait till

Michael came to help me so I could come

and bring you the answer.

So, anyway, but he said the minute you

prayed heaven sent an angel your

direction.

Our prayers open things up for angels to

start getting turned loose on our We

don't necessarily have to pray for

angels to come, but our prayer lives

release things for angels to start

working in our lives.

You know, and then you know, then you

can go other locations and see where um

throughout the scriptures that um

uh

we we see in the in the New Testament

that with uh

with with angels. It's not just prayers.

It says um

the 103rd Psalm 20th verse said, "Angels

mighty in strength." They're not the fat

little babies on the Valentine card.

They're not the They're not the the

women with the flowing gowns and all

that. Don't you know, if you believe

that, you just Anyway, um

but uh you know, we go back through

there and we can see in the scriptures

the 103rd Psalm 20th verse said, "And

his ministering spirits his angels

mighty in strength hearkening hearkening

to the voice of his word."

In fact, the Passion Translation says,

"Hearkening to the voice of his word so

that they can do it."

So, we've got angels. Number one,

they'll hearken to our prayers and

number two, they'll hearken to our

words.

Every time we take time, I've got a good

friend that he's over the years he's had

numerous encounters with angels and he

said there've been times when an angel

would show up in his room and he without

thinking he he'd quote a scripture of

something he's dealing with, said the

angel would disappear next thing you

know, the answer is coming to that. They

hearken to the voice of the word. Well,

if we'll remember on our span of time

here on earth from when we show up to

the time we leave, we have an army of

angels.

We've got We've got one we know of.

Jesus said their angel is ever beholding

the face of our Father which is in

heaven. We've got angels that are

assigned to us, mighty in strength

hearkening to the voice of his word and

they're here to do what we declare.

They're here to do what we say. They're

here to do what we pray. Most of the

things we need on Earth don't have to

come out of heaven.

I mean, think about that. Most of what

we need down here, it's the you know,

God doesn't have money trees pouring

dollar hundred dollar bills out from

That'd be nice, but most of what we need

down here doesn't come from heaven down.

It's out here and it has to come in. And

so, what God does, he's got an army of

helpers down here assigned to us to

bring in that. In fact, Hebrews, the

first chapter, says they're ministering

spirits are sent forth to minister to

minister not to, but to minister for

those to be heirs of salvation.

They're here They're They're assigned to

our lives, and if we don't understand

they're here to help me.

Whether I ever see him or not, whether I

ever hear him or not.

I was uh goodness, Pastor Janet and I,

we were at a meeting in Fort Worth,

Texas, where I believe it was one of

Brother Copeland's meetings years ago.

And uh I was really we're we're finding

our way into some

areas of ministry, and uh it was it was

uh Remember Paul said to the

Corinthians, he said there's a great

door and effectual before me. I think

it's the 16th chapter of uh 1

Corinthians. He said, "There's a great

door and effectual before me, but there

are many adversaries." Now, I don't know

if you've ever had a good big door. I

don't know if you've ever run into the

adversaries, but sometimes when there's

a door that God's getting ready for you

to go into, sometimes you'll run into

some stuff on your way through.

Y'all looking at me funny. If you

haven't, God bless you. But anyway, I

was running into some things and and and

I I didn't hear I didn't see anything,

but we're standing outside one of the

hotels downtown uh Fort Worth. Pastor

Janet and I were actually talking to

some friends, and I I heard, not out

here, but I heard in here, I heard this

voice saying, "I'm sent from the throne

of God to garrison your mind and to help

you with this thing." I was commissioned

by the prayers and gave me the name of a

prayer lady that we knew, didn't know

well, but we knew her. She's been

praying and God used that to send me.

I'm here to garrison your mind and help

you with this thing. Well, within a

couple days time, all that

stuff we're running into lifted and

left.

But see, you're back there the same

thing. Angels are here. What we need,

often times, it's not heaven coming down

and glory filling my soul. A lot of

times, it's just what we need that's

already done here on Earth. And the

answer that we're looking for is

available to us, but a lot of times,

God's using his

earthly army down here, angels, to take

care of some things.

But I'm going to finish with this. We

we're not going to go more than a just a

few more minutes.

But um there's a number of things that

have been really stirring in me about

where we are heading, we, not just WOC,

but we, the body of Christ. We, the

church. We, the church in America.

Not just uh Europe, not just uh Africa,

not just Central America, not just South

America. We, the church in

um in the USA and in Tulsa.

God's getting us ready for some things.

There's going to be And and there's it's

going to include a lot of activity,

spiritual activity, not by might, not by

power, but by the spirit of God. A lot

of activity by um

angels doing their job. They're mighty

in strength. They hearken to the voice

of his word. We don't have to see them.

I was in this auditorium.

It was just I think it was just before

COVID. COVID was just about to hit. I

was in this auditorium on a Saturday

afternoon praying for the Sunday morning

service. There were three of us in here

praying. Three of us guys were in here

praying.

And um all of a sudden, we we had a uh a

a big boom thing over here. The camera

was on that. It was right over here on

this side of the auditorium. And all of

a sudden, I looked over. I didn't see

anything. I but I knew somebody was over

there.

And I knew it wasn't anything bad. I

knew it wasn't Jesus. I didn't know what

it was, but there was somebody over

there by that. And all of a sudden, I

didn't hear it from over there. I heard

it in here. On the inside said, "I'm

sent from the throne of God, and I'm

going to take care of three things for

you.

And I'll take care of it now." Well,

without thinking, I just said, "Oh, my

God supplies all my need according to

his riches and glory by Christ Jesus."

What do they do? They hearken to the

voice of his word. So, I gave him word.

Just like that, what whoever that was

disappeared. I mean, instantly

disappeared. And within a

probably six little less than six

months' time, the first thing that that

angel said that they were sent to take

care of came to pass in a very very very

supernatural way. It's one of the

greatest miracles we've ever had in in

the in the ministry of 47 years. And it

just took place. Just I mean, seemed to

be kind of, you know, no big deal, but

it was a big deal.

>> Yeah.

And uh and then and there's two other

things that are in there's they're in

the works. I'll put it that way. And

there's an there it's not just an angel,

it's an angel that oversees things, and

there was a number of them that are

working together. This one apparently

was heading things up. Well,

all I'm saying is we're heading into

something, and we've got more heavenly

help than we ever thought of.

And if we'll do our job, if we'll do our

praying, and if we'll do our saying,

we'll do our getting. Yes.

Well, but I need God to do such and

such. That's great, but what are you

saying?

I I need I need God to do need some

needs that I've got. Yeah, but what are

you saying? I need God to do some

healings, but what are you saying? I

need God to take care of some things in

my family. Great, but what are you

saying?

Not just what you want, but what are you

saying that what God said? They hearken

hearken they hearken to the voice of his

word.

Not just if you carry a Bible around,

and not just if God says it, it's not

just if he he's already said it, they're

needing somebody down here to say it.

And if we'll get hold of that thing,

find out what is it what is it that I

need God to do? What is it I'm looking

for him to do? What is it he's stirring

on the inside of me? And I'm going to

start

verbalizing that.

Okay? With what took place with that

angel over there, what, a few years ago

now, already partially took place, but

we haven't seen anything yet. When it

all comes to pass, I'll let you know.

Before that, it's not necessary. But

there's some things that he said, "I'm

going to take care of this, this, and

this." And he already took care of one,

and there's two more that are in the

works. But it wasn't just Yeah, great.

It's okay. My God supp- One of What do I

need to do? I need to line my words up

with God's word.

Give them what God said about it. I gave

them what God said, and the first one

came to pass in a a very uh

big way. I'll put it that way.

And so uh So, anyway,

uh going back through,

we we're getting ready for what God's

getting ready for us. Okay? And what

happens from the time you and I from the

moment of conception until from the time

we come in until the time we get out,

from the time we come into this earth

until the time we leave out of here,

we've got a heavenly army that's on our

team, on our side, and it's our job to

make sure we're giving them something to

do. We Like I said, we don't want them

sitting by the campfire singing Kumbaya

and wondering why good things are not

happening more often. Why don't you

know, all those things happen to other

people. I've heard about people getting

this kind of miracle, people getting

that kind of miracle. Great. What kind

of miracle are you and I getting?

Well, I just don't get that many. Well,

what are you doing about it? Are you

giving God something to work with?

Sometimes sometimes he's got he's he can

do the job, he just needs something down

here to work with.

That comes from us. And it comes from

you and I giving those words out

because they hearken they hearken

diligently to the voice of his word.

And I'll just give you a couple of

examples. There's just some things that

I've studied for a long time and still

don't know much about. But you go back

through there and

we were in I was thinking this about it

this morning because Larry and Angela

Keaton had that great service here, was

it 2 weeks ago? Something like that. And

they're over in

Poland right now.

They had a school, they had a church

there. They're over there doing they

have a yearly conference and they're

over there. They're right now. Probably

just about finishing the night service.

But

I was over there.

Actually, I think I flew over by myself

if I remember right and went into this

actual conference.

And um

uh getting ready to do the night

service.

And and I heard the spirit of God on the

inside say, "I'm going to work through

angels tonight."

I said, "Okay."

So I said, "Lord, I agree with that. I

thank you, Lord, you work through the

ministry of angels. You did that, you do

that, you're going to do it tonight. I

you said it and therefore I agree with

it. I thank you, Lord, you're working

through the through the ministry of

angels tonight." Well, I don't know what

that means, okay? Didn't see one, didn't

hear one. Well,

finished up the service, ministered to

people,

and um

actually spirit of God dealt with us,

you know, called people up that are

having major issues in their in the

middle part of their back.

So we called those folks up and had a

line of people there.

Ministered to those people. After the

service, this older gentleman came

walking up the the aisle, came to the

front, found one of the interpreters and

said, "I've never been to anything like

this in my life.

Somebody just told me to come to the

service, so I did. I've never been to a

place I don't know anything about this.

You know, the man the guy up front was

telling people to come up if they had

back problems and he said, 'I did, but I

didn't know what he's talking about.'

Never heard never seen anything like

that before." He said, "So I'm standing

there and people up there there where

he's putting his hands on them and

they're falling down on the floor." And

he said, "But I'm standing back there."

And he said, "All of a sudden

all of a sudden." And he said, "But I've

had I've had tumors up and down my

back."

He said, "Up and down my I have spinal

tumors of some kind." He said, "All up

and down my back.

I live in pain. I suffer with that." He

said,

"But all of a sudden some who somebody

behind me just reached up and put their

their hand on my back."

"Well, I turned around to tell them

don't do that. I got a problem back

there." I turned around to tell them to

stop, but when I turned around there was

nobody there.

There was a hand on my back, but there

was no person back there behind the

hand. I don't know what that was, but

when that all stopped the tumors all

disappeared. My back's totally well. Can

anybody tell me what that was?" And

thank God one of the workers could say,

"Yeah, I can tell you what it was."

Okay?

So so there were there've been instances

like that where you hear at the World

Outreach Church. We're

in

East Central.

Thank God for East Central High School.

And we were there we were having a

service on a Sunday morning and um

uh there was a man that had come in.

Uh he was a businessman and uh his his

his the company worked for had major

division out on the East Coast

somewhere. And there was a a guy that

was I guess maybe one of his bosses that

came out to do something and he said,

"Why don't you come to church with me?"

And the guy said, "Yeah." Okay. So, he

came on Sunday morning. They're sitting

way in the back.

The guy's got something pretty strong

wrong with him. I don't recall what it

was. Physically, he had a real major

issue. He's sitting back there and this

was on a

a Sunday morning. When we started out

early in the early days, we had a lot of

a lot of flow of the Holy Ghost on on

Sunday morning services.

And we're headed back into that.

So, just get ready. Okay. We're we're

going back in. We've been in a in an

interim time for some other things to

take place. But, there's sitting way it

was kind of a tilted

tilted

uh

auditorium.

Sitting up in the back, and the guy

leans over the the guest turned leans

over to the guy from our church and

said,

"Somebody's got their hand on me. Who

who is that?" He looked over. He said,

"There's nobody there." He said, "Yeah,

there is. Somebody's got their hand on

my on my back. Somebody's got their hand

on me. I can tell it's hot. I can feel

it. There's somebody's got their hand on

me."

Said and he said, "I'll talk to you

later."

And they left the service and then went

back finished the the job and the guy

went back to wherever it was on the East

Coast and called his friend here in

Tulsa and said, "Just thought I'd let

you know all the symptoms are gone, all

the pain's gone, everything else is

gone. Whatever took place that morning,

it I I got an instant healing in my

body." And of course, the guy from the

church said, "Well, I'll now I'll tell

you what it was." And it was an angel

that had come in. Well, we need to get

ready for that.

We can go on and on. There was a I'll

give you another another case and we'll

we'll finish up another time.

But, um

um

>> [clears throat]

>> There's a

a church in Colorado

where I worked a number of years ago.

Now, I was a youth pastor of all things.

And uh

uh

we pastored Jan and I we'd gotten

married. We're traveling full-time on

the road. And um we're going into We'd

been to another meeting. I think at

Pastor Sam Carson's if I recall right.

His it was around 4th of July. We went

to this meeting at his church and then

we're going to finish up and then we're

going to fly uh to uh Denver and then go

to this church in Colorado and pick up

on that meeting and go three or four

days there.

Well, we're down there and somebody

said, "Man, you should have been here

yesterday." Don't you just love it when

people do that?

Jesus came walking in, walked through

the wall, and asked for it. You have

been. No.

Somebody said, "You should have been

here yesterday." Said, "Why?" Said,

"Well,

um we had so-and-so." Named a particular

minister. Uh in fact, if I recall, I

think it was Ed Dufresne.

You know, we used to laugh about it cuz

he he'd get up in the pulpit and he'd

say, "Wild Eddie's back." And I thought

he'd lived that out. He

would he'd get up and flow with the Holy

Ghost, have miracles, amazing things

took place. But he said he uh

the people told him said there was Ed,

if I recall, right? And said he was on

the platform. They had a big like a

grand piano up on the platform. And he

was there and um

said he just got up and he said uh I

don't know what's needed, but he said

there's somebody here that needs a new

heart.

Somebody you you don't need just a

healing, you need a new heart. Whoever

you are, come down here.

And a few people came to the front and

this one gentleman, I I don't know, I'm

guessing maybe maybe in his 60s at the

most, came down there and he said,

"That's me. I need a new heart." And he

said, "Well, you're the one I'm looking

for because he said, 'When I called you

down here,' he said, 'there's been an

angel standing behind the piano back

there all through the service holding a

brand new heart for somebody.' He He's

bring He brought a heart from heaven.

There's a brand new heart for somebody

and that's you. You're going to get a

brand new heart today." Guy says, "Well,

I need it cuz they've told me I'm not

going to live long." In fact, he said,

"My brother died." And I I knew his

brother. He said, "My brother died a

year or two ago and he said I was coming

out to this meeting. I was going to go

by, you know, where his the tombstone

the the gravestone was. Go by and just

say, you know, I'll be with you soon.

They're telling me I'm not going to last

long. So I I thought I'd come out here

and get one more trip to Colorado and

then I I just thought I'd let you know

I'm going to be in heaven soon. I'll be

with you."

And he said, "I came to tell him that."

And he said, "But," he said, "when when

he went to that service, he went back to

the hotel." he said he'd grab a suitcase

and take it one step at a time.

Another step at a time. Another step

could barely get up the steps to the

hotel room. He said, "I got back to the

hotel." And he said, "All of a sudden I

realized the power of God came on me and

I ran all the way to the top and I ran

all the way to the bottom and I ran all

the way to the top and ran all the way

to the bottom." He said, "Then I got my

wife and we got in the car, we went out

to the graveyard and I went to where my

brother's gravestone was and said,

'Well, buddy,

just thought I'd let you know you're

going to have to wait a while cuz God

healed me. I got a new heart. I'm not

going to be coming to see you for quite

a while now. I got a lot more to do

here. Got a brand new heart.' But he

said it was an angel that brought that

to Angels aren't healers, they're

messengers. An angel brought that.

I know another one like that. I won't go

into it now. Another One case just like

that took place in northern part of

Canada.

Somebody needed a new heart. They didn't

just need a

a healing, they needed a replacement.

Got a heart. It went It went across the

country in the tabloid magazines. Person

gets new heart. They said by the next

night folks were coming from all over

the country with crystals and and I mean

everything you can think of to come in

cuz if people wanted new hearts, they

thought if they'd get in there they'd

get a new heart. This guy came in, this

lady I believe it was, got a a brand new

heart. Well, what it was there was an

angel that was standing over there on

the side of the room, stood through the

whole service holding a heart for

somebody, delivered it and that person

got an instant instant miracle.

We could go on and on, but I'm telling

you there is a there's a ministry of

angels.

Okay? They're not doing the miracles,

they're messengers.

They're down here to do the work. Jesus

is the healer, he's the miracle worker,

but he's got to have some cooperation

down here and if he could just find some

believers that say, "I think I'll get in

the middle of that. I think I'll get my

words lined up with God's words and

we're going going some miracles down

here. I've got a I got a knowing in my

knower.

I don't have all the answers.

Fact, sometimes I'm not sure I got many

of them.

But I tell you the ones I do have, I'm

pretty persuaded of and I'm I'm very

convinced very convinced we're about to

see some real demonstrations whether we

see it with our eyes, whether we hear it

with our ears, we're about to see some

demonstrations of angels coming in and

working with the head of the church, the

Lord Jesus to deliver what he bought and

paid for. And we're going to see people

getting amazing miracles. Like I said a

few minutes ago, the lady that had the

internally.

I mean, everything was replaced. Was an

angel in on that? I don't know.

I don't have any idea.

I've got a I've got a a number of other

cases of things like that that I've

seen, watched, or known about over the

years. We're going to get on

in on a bunch of that.

God's in the miracle business.

Hallelujah. Glory to God. Well, now I

know that's not quite a a Mother's Day

message, but

moms, you can get in on it, too.

My grandmothers prayed for me.

I know my mom prayed for me, bless her

heart. She got gray hair just trying to

keep up with me.

And I'm not going to say another word

about that. But anyway, anyway,

let's all just bow our heads.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray

over this house. Father, there's a

stirring in my heart

that what you raised us up for is still

going to come to pass. Thank you, dear

Lord. Thank you. We're a we're kind of a

splinter group in the body. We we've got

a particular facet, we've got a

wheelhouse,

a lane that we're to run in and we're

going to do our job.

We at WOC, we're do we're doing our job

in what you want done. And so, I pray

over this house right now. And I thank

you. You're going to be sending people

in from north, south, east, and west.

You're going to keep sending more and

more people. There's an influx of

younger folks that are coming in.
