I heard about a meeting that was going

at the University of Michigan

remember it. They held it in the uh I

think it was in the basketball arena.

I'm not real sure, but it was about I

don't know 30

isn't

know what it was. I heard that meant,

didn't he? What? I didn't know what

Catholic was. Guy had been to a Catholic

church one time. Couldn't figure out

what all the water was about. all the

kneeling, all the holy water or whatever

it was. I didn't know, but I thought,

I'm going to go. I just got in my car

and left. And I drove over there and

went into that place. And all I know is

I parked my car, went in there, and um

it was I would say I don't know, maybe

2,000, maybe 3,000, maybe I don't know.

Couldn't even take a wild guess of um

spiritfilled, Holy Ghost fil, Bible

believing, tongue-talking,

uh Catholics, priests, nuns, and there

was just a spirit of worship that moved

into that place. I was in there. I don't

know. I was in there probably an hour,

hour and a half, something like that

before I had to turn around and go back

home. But looking back in there, I

thought, I don't know what this is. I

don't know what this is all about. But

this this presence, this is something I

want in my life. I want this. And uh

like I said, that's been a few years ago

now. But I believe that's where the

church is headed. I believe there's got

he who hungers and thirsts after

righteousness going to get filled. I

believe there's a a hunger coming in the

church world for the presence of God.

Once you get around that, you you just

can't you just can't settle for anything

less. Once you get around the glory,

nothing nothing takes its place. You

know, we could we could spend a lot of

time talking about that this morning. I

don't plan to right now, but we could

spend a lot of time talking about the

meetings we've been in. We were in a

meeting in Atlanta one time. The glory

of God was about three or four feet

thick just across the top of the

building. You walked in there, looked

up, and it's just this thick white fog

all over the top of the building. We

were one in Pontiac, Michigan. Same

thing there. We've had the privilege at

numerous times over the past 35 years,

something like that, to get in places

where the manifested presence of God was

there. And boy, sometimes bodies were

healed, people's lives were changed.

There's just something about getting

into that place. It's worth it's worth

making the investment to get in the

presence of God. And that's just up to

us. Well, if God wants to do it, he can

just do it. No, he wants to do it. He's

just looking for people that want him to

do it. He's looking for folks that'll

say, "God, I I'm hungry for what you've

got. I'm hungry for what you're uh

you're uh in the process of doing, and

I'm on board. Something's in the works."

I know. Uh uh we had we had uh our

healing and miracle service uh Friday

night and I know Angela made the

statement. She's talking about different

places. I think Germany, England,

France,

Italy, places over there that Pastor Jan

and I been we've been going there for

years and years and it's it's been good.

But we're getting reports of young

people, groups of young people on the

streets out there on their knees and on

their faces worshiping God. Something's

happening. Something's happening and

it's going to go global. It's just up to

us if we want to get in it or not. I I'm

on board.

>> Hallelujah. Glory to God. Well, Father,

we thank you in the wonderful name of

Jesus. We thank you, Father, for your

presence. In your presence is fullness

of joy. Your right hand pleasures ever

more. Father, thank you. We we have a we

have a longing for your presence and an

appreciation for your presence. And so,

Father, we're going to do what we know

to do in the days and weeks and months

and how however much time we got left.

We're going to do all we know to do to

make you comfortable in our place to to

make sure you are uh you're you're glad

to come here. And we thank you. We don't

want you just to come for a visitation.

We want you to come for habitation. And

we thank you for it in the wonderful

name of Jesus. Glory to God. And so now,

we thank you for the remainder of this

service this morning. Thank you, Father,

for ministering to us. Thank you,

Father. And and it's in your presence.

That's when bodies are healed and needs

are met. Answers come. So we thank you

for that in the wonderful name of Jesus.

Father, thank you more than anything for

your presence with us, with us, in us,

among us, around us, to us, for us.

We're thankful for it in Jesus name.

Father, hallelujah. Amen. Amen. Glory to

God. Well, it's good to see everyone

this morning. Good to have you here.

weather.

We got past the uh rain, most of it, I

think. But anyway, um let's open our

Bibles for a little bit to uh the book

of Colossians where the Apostle Paul's

writing this letter to the Colossian

church and Colossians chapter 1. We'll

just share a few things in here

and see where we go.

got a good week coming up.

>> 250 years. Pretty amazing. I don't know

where that's going to go, but there

we're going to have a service next uh

Sunday morning. Uh you want to be here,

and I would recommend you get here on

time. You don't want to try to find a

way to get in after it begins. Um make

sure you come in, get a seat, bring

folks with you. We're going to celebrate

250 years.

You know, you stop and think there's a

lot we could cover, but what God's

enabled us to do, we've done everything.

We've we've been the big brother to wars

around the the world, World War I, World

War II, we've got the Middle Eastern. We

We've been able to have God use us to

set a lot of people free and to keep

freedom in our nation. Yes, sir. There's

a lot of things that could have, should

have, would have happened in this

nation, but God's protected us and taken

care of us. And I'm thankful for that.

>> Very thankful for that. Hallelujah.

Glory to God. Praise God. Well, have you

found Colossians chapter 1 yet.

Colossians chapter 1. I'm going to kind

Colossians 1 · chapter mention

of cut it a little short here, but Paul

writing here to the Colossian believers,

he says in verse 12, he said, "Giving

thanks to the Father." Well, that's kind

of what we've been doing this morning,

giving thanks to him. He's worthy of

that. But he says, "Giving thanks unto

the Father, which has made us meat, we'd

say worthy, uh, able." He's made us meat

to be partakers of the inheritance of

the saints in light. God's made us, how

do he say that? He's made us meat, made

us able, made us worthy to be partakers

of the inheritance of the saints,

walking in the light. Once you get born

again, you start walking in the light.

There's an inheritance you have. You

become a child of God. You got his

genetics flowing in your veins.

>> And he goes on in here. He says, he

says, "Giving thanks to the father which

has made us meat, able, worthy." He had

to make us worthy. You and I, we never

could be worthy.

>> Work all we want, trial we want. We can

never make ourselves worthy. But he said

he's the one that made us meat, able,

qualified to be partakers of the

inheritance of the saints. And light.

I'm so glad he made me worthy of that. I

remember I remember when things started

making sense to me. It was uh November

1972 and all of a sudden I began to get

my life right with God and all and and

there was suddenly there was this place

where I knew I was right with God. I

knew I hadn't been before that been

running away instead of running to but I

started getting over into a place where

I knew that I was in a position with

him. I knew things were right between

God and me. I you know when you go in

life and you're not things are not where

they should be and it's not God's fault

and then when you get it switched around

where things are where they should be

you know the difference.

>> Anybody else ever been down that road?

>> But he goes on says giving thanks to the

father verse 12 which has made us meet

or able to be partakers of the

inheritance of the saints in light. It's

in light. It only works walking in the

light. If you walk in darkness it just

doesn't work. But he says in the light.

Now verse 13. Now he says who hath

delivered us. This is part I'm looking

for to start with. Who has delivered us?

Who has delivered us?

>> Who has delivered us?

>> Not can be, will be, could be, should

be. Who has delivered us who has

delivered us from what?

>> The power of darkness. And has

translated us into the kingdom of his

dear son. Well, he's done that. He has

delivered us from the power of darkness.

>> You know, um

actually we were uh Pastor Janet and I

were in doing a we're doing a meeting.

We're in a conference and there was some

there were some meetings going in

different meeting rooms in this place we

were at and um finished up the service

we had and I know a lady a lady came up

after the service came walking up there

and she pretty bold about it and she

walked up and she said uh I need to be

delivered

and I thought okay I'm not real sure

what this is about but we'll see. And I

said you do. She said I do. I said, "Who

told you?" She said, "I just know." And

I said, "How do you know?" "I just know

I need to be delivered." I said, "What

do you need to be delivered of? I got a

lot of stuff I need to be delivered of."

I said, "Well, how do you know you need

to be delivered?" "Well, I just know

that I don't." And she was she was kind

of getting a little aggravated at me.

And I said, "Well, yeah." I said, "You

know," I said, "I'll tell you what. I

have good news for you." Boy, her face

lit up. She said, "You do?" I said,

"Yes, I've got really good news for

you." I said, "Do you have a do you

happen to have a Bible with you?" I

noticed she didn't. So, I knew she was

in trouble already.

And I said, "Do you have a Bible with

you?" And I said, "Here, look at mine."

And I said, "Let's look over at

Colossians chapter 1 verse, I think it's

Colossians 1 · chapter mention

verse 13. Let's let's look at that where

it says, "Giving thanks unto the Father,

who has uh made us able to be partakers

of the inheritance of the saints in

light." Who has? I said, "Now read that

to me."

And I said, "Read that to me." She said,

"Who has?" I said, "Read it again. Who

has what?" I said, "Has what?" "Has has

done what?" "Has delivered us from the

power of darkness and has done what?"

"And has translated us into the kingdom

of his dear son or the son of his love."

I said, "What did that say?" Said,

"Well, it says he has delivered." I

said, "Well, did he or didn't he?" I

said, "You're trying to get what he's

already done. You're trying to get God

to do something that he did 2,000 years

ago. You want me to do something to get

you set free from what he set you free

from 2,000 years ago." And I said,

"You're trying to get something already

belongs to you." And then she got really

aggravated.

She said, "You're not getting rid of me

that easy." I said, "I'm not trying to

get rid of you." I said, "I'm trying to

help you." I said, I said, "The Bible

said he's has delivered us from the

power of darkness." And he has already,

past tense, he has delivered us from the

power of darkness and has what?

>> He's delivered me. And he's

>> translated me. Delivered means he set me

free from it. I don't know about you,

did you get set free from something when

you got right with God?

>> We won't even go down that road.

>> Said he has delivered us from all the

power of darkness and has what?

Translated us. Translated. Well, we've

been working we've working with worked

with interpreters, you know, for 47

years now. All over the world, over 50

nations worked with interpreters, you

know, interpret like somebody said,

there's interpreters, then there's

interrupters.

We've had lots of both. But anyway, so

but you go back through there. Who has

delivered us from the power of darkness

and has translated has translated us

into the kingdom of of his dear son.

He's delivered us and he's translated

us. He's transferred us. He's changed

us. I know what it's like to be around

an interpreter where somebody takes what

you say and changes what you say into

something else. You know, he said he

delivered us from the power of darkness

and he

translated us into the kingdom of his

dear son. I know what it's like to get

translated out of something. I know what

my life was like in 1972 and I know what

it was like by 1974. Everything had

changed. I got delivered and I got

translated. Took a little while to get

there. Had to have some help, but he

delivered me from the power of darkness

and he translated me into the kingdom of

his dear son. Well, anyway, this lady's

still standing there and I'm trying to

explain to her what you want is what

you've already got. You're trying to get

delivered and the Bible said you've

already been delivered. God just needs

you to rejoice over what you are instead

of what you're trying to get. And she

said, 'Well, you're not getting rid of

me that easy. I said, 'Ma'am, I'm not

trying to get rid of you. I'm trying to

help you, but I can't help you if you

don't believe the Bible. I'll give you

the Bible, then you make a decision

whether you're going to take it or leave

it. Well, then she got really

aggravated. I said, I tell you what, I

don't have all the answers, you know,

and there's other people. There's other

classes going on around here. I know

somebody that's in such and such a room

down the hall, and I know they're

they're a good Bible person. And I'll

tell you what, you go, maybe I don't

have the answer you're looking for. You

go down there, go into that room. The

class should be over by now. Go in there

and just ask them if they can get you

delivered of this, whatever it is. And

boy, she kind of stomped off. And u

uh the guy that was doing that other

class, I saw him a couple days later and

I said, "Oh, I've been meaning to catch

you. I be delivered." He said, "Ma'am, I

got good news for you." and when I over

on this side.

>> But then he says in verse 14, son, now

verse 14, in whom we have

>> no, we're not trying to get delivered.

We got

>> redemption.

The Bible is all about redemption.

>> And that's really what he's endeavoring

to get across to us here. He says, "In

whom we have redemption through his

blood, even the forgiveness of sins." He

paid the price. He's already paid the

price for us. in whom we have

redemption. In whom we we have had to

have redemption since the first couple

chapters of the book of Genesis.

Uh you know, Adam had it made all right.

He was related to God. God God breathed

his own life into Adam. He had he had uh

uh really spirit, soul, and body. He was

in good shape. He was related to God.

Then if you come back around here, he

had he was spirit, soul, and body. He

was a three-part being and he had God's

this ability. You ever stop think about

it? He he had he was smart.

>> Three yeps on that. Okay. He was he was

a smart guy. You You ever stop thinking

about that?

God saw it wasn't good for Adam to be

alone. So, he brought all the creatures

to him and he said, "Here, name them."

He named every one of them. How'd you

like to do that? I don't know how many

there were back then, but he named every

one of them. named everyone. And the

best part was not only did he name them,

but he remembered what he named them.

So, not only did he have a supernatural

mind, he had a supernatural memory.

Memory is a supernatural thing.

>> It doesn't go away when you get old. It

just doesn't go away at all. Memory is a

supernatural thing. It works on the

inside. It comes from heaven. And when

you get you get born again, you've got

the wisdom of of God. You've got the

intelligence of God. You got the memory

of God.

Adam remembered what he named all those

creatures and there were probably a lot

of them. Okay, so he had supernatural

intelligence, supernatural memory. He

was blessed. I mean, God told him even

where the gold was buried.

>> Why would he do that? The mall wasn't

here yet. The outlet mall wasn't open.

Eve hadn't showed up yet.

[laughter]

And we'll just keep going here for a

little bit longer. Is that smart? I'm

being informed that that's a smart move.

Yes.

>> Wisdom.

>> That's wisdom. Yeah. Wisdom is

justified. Anyway,

anyway, if you go back through there,

Adam had he had it made. He had he had

blessing. He knew where the gold was

buried because the day was going to come

he was going to need it. He knew where

the gold was buried. He had supernatural

intelligence, supernatural memory. He

had uh you stop think there was no

sickness or disease on planet earth that

we could find. And if we look at the end

of chapter one of the book of Genesis,

God saw everything he made and it was

>> it was very good.

>> It was very God liked what he made. He

saw it wasn't good for man to be alone.

So he made all these critters and that

still wasn't enough. So he took a rib.

Do you know

Wisdom.

>> I wisdom. Thank you. [laughter]

Sometimes you just got to know when to

step over to wisdom.

Sometimes you got to say, I think that's

what was in that rib. But anyway,

I think it's about time for us to quit

and go home. We We'll come back next

week when we're 250 years old. But

anyway,

[laughter]

Yep. I'm getting agreement from row one

over here.

But Adam had all he had everything going

for him. Um he didn't need redemption.

Spirit, soul, and body. He had the life

of God in him. He had the wisdom of of

God. He had the intelligence of God. He

had the blessing of God. He had

everything. Everything was good. He's

he's got Eve. He's got family.

Everything's going good. And all of a

sudden, he makes one

bad move and he eats out of that tree.

God said, "Don't do not eat of the tree

of knowledge of good and evil, for in

the day that you do, you will surely

>> die." Heard a guy on the radio one time

said he was a preacher, I guess. But

anyway, he said, uh, he said, "God lied

to Adam." And I thought, "You're in

trouble already, buddy."

Said, "God lied to Adam." He said, "If

you eat of that tree, you'll die." He

ate of that tree, and he didn't die. And

I thought, "Because you don't know what

death is."

>> But anyway, another story. Now, so he's

uh uh looking back over there, we look

at at um Adam's got everything going for

him except he just made one bad move.

Adam and Eve ate of the tree that God

told him to or the fruit God told them

to stay away from the tree of knowledge

of good and evil and could have had the

tree. Think about it. They could have

had the tree of life and just stayed

there.

God said, "Put angel there and protect

the tree from them in case they don't

eat that tree because if they do,

they'll live forever." The tree of life

was there. And so anyway, we look back

there and you've got Adam and Eve. You

they've got everything going for him.

And God said, "If you eat of that tree,

you will die." And he did. He God came

looking for him to fellowship with him.

He said, "Where are you?" He said, "I

hid myself." Why? I was naked. How'd you

know you were naked? Well, I just knew.

Why? Did you eat of that tree? He said,

'Well, yeah, I did.' She told me to.

That's it.

Blair's going to get in trouble over

here. He's next in line.

And we again probably better quit pretty

soon. But anyway, anyway, we go back

through there. And so from that moment,

from the time Adam and Eve ate of the

tree, God told them to stay away from

the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

The minute they did that, they fell.

They they disassociated themselves from

God. They chose a new master. They chose

a new leader. They chose a new Lord.

They chose they chose uh that stupid

talking snake. Did all that. And and and

God said, Genesis 3:15, he said, "I will

put enmity between thee and the woman,

between thy seed and her seed. He'll

bruise thy head, thou shalt bruise his

heel." What'd he do? He said, "I'm going

to have to redeem you. You paid a price,

and you can't fix yourself. You can do

anything you want. You know, they they

put together fig leaves to try to cover

themselves up. They had to have skin.

Something had to die. Something had to

pay the price for their mistake. And so

you go back there and God said, "I will

put emnity between thee and the woman,

between thy seed and her seed, he'll

bruise thy head, thou shalt bruise his

heel." God told him, "I will fix this.

I will fix this." And last I checked it

was um it was about roughly through

3,200 years

before God

uh gave a vision to Isaiah and showed

him what redemption looked like. It took

a long time to bring that about. God God

prophesied the coming of Jesus.

Prophesied his death, his burial, his

resurrection, his ministry. Prophesied

everything about Jesus. Prophesied all

through the Old Testament. He kept

talking about Jesus coming. He kept he

kept doing that until the word was made

flesh and dwelt among us. We beheld his

glory. The glory is of the only begotten

of the father full of grace and truth.

He uh God did everything to get it ready

for us. But it took about 3,000 years to

get it all there. But he said, "I will

put em put enmity between thee and the

woman, between thy seed and her seed."

Then so you go back through there and

man had to have a redeemer. Redeem means

to purchase, pay for. Somebody somebody

had to pay for those mistakes.

I've used the example before. Had an

uncle that um he was he was pretty

rowdy. Uh actually he was a great guy.

He he and my aunt lived in their family

lived in Dallas. And I went down to see

him when I moved down here to go to

Rama. I went drove down to see him. And

um and um I I knew I knew he'd had a

pretty rough background. So, I'm sitting

there talking to my uncle and I said,

"You know, you you just need to get

saved." I said it nicely and he said,

"Wouldn't wouldn't be right for me to

get saved." So, he'd heard about it

before. He said, "It wouldn't be right

for me to get saved." I said, "Doesn't

matter whether it's right or not. You

need to Well, it wouldn't be right for

me to get saved. Wouldn't be right. It

wouldn't be right for me to go to

heaven. Wouldn't it wouldn't be right

for me to accept Jesus. Wouldn't be

right for me to be saved." I said, "Why

do you say that?" He said, "Uh, well, it

just wouldn't be right." I said, 'Wh

wouldn't it be right?' He said, 'It just

wouldn't. I said, ' Tell me, why would

it not be right?' He said, 'All I've

done, He said, 'I've done so much bad

stuff. He said, 'I, he says, I've done

so much stuff. He said, uh, somebody's

got to pay for that.

And I said, right now, you're smarter

than most of the body of Christ.

You know, somebody had to pay for that.

I said, the good part, the bad part is

somebody's got to pay. The good part is

somebody already did pay.

>> I said, somebody already paid for your

mistakes. Somebody already paid for

everything you did. Somebody doesn't

matter. I said, you know, the guy named

Saul of Tarsus, he was killing

Christians. Have you been doing that?

Well, no. And I said, well, you haven't

been as bad as him and he got saved,

wrote half the New Testament. I said,

you know, you can get help,

but it's up to you. You got you've got

to make the decision. And uh you know, I

last I I never did find out. Hadn't I

didn't see him again after that, but um

I don't know if he made the decision or

not. I think my aunt did. And I think

maybe Mon did. I'm not real sure. I know

some of my cousins have. I do know that

much. But he he said, "It just wouldn't

be right for me to go." Why? Because

somebody needs to pay the price. That's

what redemption's all about. When Adam

made the mistake, as an Adam, all fell.

He He made the mistake. And and that,

you know, death came on the entire

world. It all came on all of us. For all

of sin had come short of the glory of

God. He's already, you know, he he uh he

got us in trouble. Adam got us in in

trouble over all that. Made that

mistake. And um

God said, "I'll take care of this. It's

going to take me a while, but I will

take care of this." And so, we get down

the road. Let's take a look real quickly

over at Isaiah the the uh 53rd chapter

just for a moment, and we'll finish this

up for this morning. Isaiah 53.

Isaiah the 53rd chapter.

So if we go back through here, I mean,

you stop and think about it.

For all have sinned and come short of

the glory of God. Somebody's got to pay.

Somebody had to pay for all that. Nobody

could do it. There was not there was not

righteous blood on planet earth. There

was no blood that was available. There

was no sinless, spotless lamb of God.

There was nobody to do it. God only had

one son and he gave him. And up until

that point, there was nobody to pay the

price for us. Nobody else could do that.

We could try to get I remember a good

friend of mine uh

right after I got right with God sitting

in front of the

grocery store down there. We were

sitting in the in the parking lot out

there and uh he he had a bit of an

alcohol problem and we were sitting

there talking. I said, "Man, you you uh

you need to get right with God. You

know, you just need to you just need to

make a decision to get right with God."

He said, "I am doing everything I know

to do to get right with God. I'm trying

to do everything good. I'm trying to do

everything right." And I said, "You're

never going to do everything right.

You've proved that all already. You've

done everything wrong. You're never

going to do everything right. It's not

what you can do. It's what somebody did

for you. Somebody's had to pay the price

for you. You're going to have to make

the decision.

Well, I'm trying. Well, I said, quit

trying and just do it. All you got to do

is say, "Jesus, I make you Lord of my

life." And let him do what he does. He's

the one that paid the price. He's the

one that shed his blood. He's the one

that died. Well, I know. I'm just

trying. I'm just trying. Well, I'll back

it up a little bit. He uh uh actually we

still stay in contact. Every Christmas

we make a telephone call and um uh I

knew him, I knew his wife. She was in

another school system and u I I talked

to them one time and I said just wanted

to know and I named him and I said and

and I knew she'd actually I'd prayed led

her to Jesus.

Saw her one time after a meeting and I

talked about getting saved and prayed a

prayer with her. She married him a

little bit later and I said, and I

called and I said, I want to make sure

this friend of mine, I want to make sure

when he goes, because he was in pretty

rough shape physically. I said, I want

to make sure when he goes, he's going to

heaven. She goes, oh, he knows who his

savior is. He's got that all figured

out. We watched we watch um

got to get her name back. Anyway, um

it'll come back.

There's a lady uh minister said, "We

watch her. We watch her all the time."

And I thought, well, he got it. He got

it set. You know, I don't know that he

ever got what you call sanctified, but

he sure got saved.

But anyway, let me find a place to to

shut this down.

We'll probably pick this up another

time. It's all about redemption.

[snorts] Somebody had to pay the price.

Somebody had to pay for what I did.

Somebody had to pay for my mistakes.

Somebody had to pay for what I did

wrong. Somebody had to pay for what

happened in my Somebody Somebody had to

do the job. I I could work on it. I

could try to, but somebody had to

release me from the prison of sin and

get me out of there. And nobody else

could do it. The only one that could was

the one that shed the blood. Bible said,

"He entered once into the holy place,

having obtained eternal redemption for

us." He had the only blood on planet

Earth or in the universe that could pay

for my mistakes.

And so, if we go back through here, just

backing up, we'll make this real quick.

If you go back through there

that um from Genesis 2 on mankind was in

trouble. God was covering the sins of

mankind, covering them up with the blood

of bulls and goats and so on. And then

we get down the road and and 700 years

before Jesus comes to planet earth

before he takes on flesh to dwell among

us. says in Isaiah 53,

Isaiah says here, God says really to

Isaiah said, "Who has believed our

report?" He's going to start this out.

What God did was he went back there 700

years before Jesus came to planet earth,

took on flesh to dwell among us. 700

years before he came here, God gave

Isaiah a picture of what redemption

looked like. Nobody knew. Nobody had

seen Jesus. They didn't know what he's

going to look like, but he got a picture

of this. God showed Isaiah a picture of

the death, burial, and resurrection of

Jesus. And we'll just hit a part of this

now, but it says in 5 uh chapter 53

verse one, who's believed our report. I

like the way he starts out here. He

didn't say this is working for

everybody. He said, who's believed our

report? This doesn't work for everybody.

It only works for those that believe.

>> Okay? For the friends of mine, I found

out they believed. for my uncle. I think

he believed, you know, but it was a

choice. But he says here, "Who has

believed our report? And to whom is the

what he said? Who's believed our report?

And to whom is the arm of the Lord re

the arm of the Lord? God doesn't roll

his sleeves up and go to work for

anybody except the ones that believe

him.

>> Amen.

>> Who's believed our report? And to whom

is the arm of the Lord revealed? Let's

just jump down to verse four. And he

begins to explain to us what redemption

really looks like. Somebody had to pay

the price. I couldn't do it. You

couldn't do it. Nobody could do it. And

only if there was only one human. There

was only one person, only one with the

with the uh blood, sinless, spotless

lamb of of God. The blood says in verse

four, surely,

absolutely, beyond a shadow of a doubt,

talking about Jesus, surely he hath

what?

>> Surely he's borne our griefs.

What's he doing? He's going to tell us

about redemption.

Okay, the Bible said, "Let the redeemed

of the Lord say so." He's going to tell

us about redemption. Said, "Surely,

surely, absolutely of the truth. Surely

he has borne our griefs and carried our

sorrows." That's not real clear to us.

If you go back through, most

translations say, "Surely he has borne

our sickness and carried our pain."

Absolutely, somebody had to pay for

starts out saying, "Surely he's borne my

sickness and carried my pain." Somebody

had to pay for that. But then he goes on

said, "But he was wounded for our

transgressions." Well, let's go on. Hit

one more verse here.

Yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten

of God, and afflicted. Verse five, but

he was wounded for our transgressions.

He was wounded for my transgressions. He

paid the price. He was he was pierced

for my mistakes.

He did we did esteem him stricken,

smitten of God, and afflicted. But he

was wounded for my transgressions. He

was bruised for my iniquities.

The chastisement of my peace was upon

him. And with his stripes, what did he

say? We are healed. Mankind fell.

Spirit, soul, and body. We had the mind

of we we we had this amazing

supernatural ability. We're smart. We

had the mind of God working for us.

Spirit, soul, and body. And in one

swipe, Adam lost all that.

three about 3,200 years later, God gives

uh Isaiah a vision of what redemption

looks like. Gives him a picture of this

700 years before Jesus takes on flesh

and dwells among us. God shows it to to

uh uh Isaiah shows him what it looks

like and it said says right here, "But

he was wounded for our transgressions,

bruised for our iniquities. Chastisement

of our peace was upon him and with his

stripes we are healed. Man fell spirit,

soul, and body. Jesus redeemed him.

Redeemed us spirit, soul, and body.

Somebody had to pay the price. It wasn't

halfway done. It wasn't twothirds of the

way done. We lost. We were lost. Spirit,

soul, and body. God sent Jesus to pay

for spirit, soul, and body. We Isaiah

saw it. Jesus paid for it through his

death, burial, and resurrection. Now we

walk in it.

>> Thank God for redemption.

>> The price has already been paid. We can

go back there and we can see it in

Isaiah. We can see it in Genesis. We can

see it all through the scriptures. But

we do know from the scriptures the price

has already been paid

>> whose own self bear our sins in his own

body on the tree. That we being dead to

sin should live under righteousness. By

whose stripes

we are healed. Hallelujah. Glory to God.

Let's all stand to our feet.
