  8. >> I want to jump higher than before.

  9. Oh,

  10. >> I want to shout a little louder than

  20. I want to spin wilder than before.

  21. Oh,

  22. >> I want to shout a little louder.

  23. Oh freedom

  24. freom

  25. fre.

  26. There's no more shackles. No more

  27. chains. No more bondage. I am free.

  28. Yeah. Come on. If you know us, sing it

  29. with us. There's no more shackles. No

  30. more shackles. No more chains. No more

  31. love. I am free.

  32. No more shackles. No more chains. No

  33. more shackles. No more chains. No more

  34. bond. I am free.

  35. Yeah, there's no more shackles, no more

  36. chains. No more shackles, no more

  37. chains, no more bodies. I am free.

  38. With the spirit of the Lord, there's

  39. freedom. Say freedom. Freedom

  40. freedom

  41. freedom.

  42. Freedom.

  43. Freedom. Come on. You know what's no

  44. more. No more shackles. No more chains.

  45. No more bonding. Come on, we're free. I

  46. am free.

  47. >> Hallelujah.

  48. >> It's so good to be free. There's no more

  49. shackles. No more shackles. No more

  50. shame. No more bonds. I am free.

  51. >> When the spirit of the Lord is there is

  52. freedom. No more. No more shackles, no

  53. more chains, no more bonds. I am free.

  54. Yeah,

  63. I am free.

  64. Come on, one more time. Let's sing.

  65. Freedom. Freedom.

  66. Freedom.

  67. Freedom. Freedom.

  68. Freedom.

  69. >> Hallelujah. If you're free, just lift up

  70. a shout of praise. It's so good to be

  71. free. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hey, let's

  72. hear for freedom.

  73. Hallelujah.

  74. >> I don't know. I think Jesus set you a

  75. little more free than that.

  76. >> Can I hear just one just solid shout for

  77. what Jesus did for us? Just let me hear

  78. a good

  79. That's right. He paid the ultimate price

  80. so we could be free. Thank God. Thank

  81. God. Thank God. Well, I want to thank

  82. the first time guests as you're seated

  83. for being here today. Take a seat real

  84. quick. We're going to get through this.

  85. Uh if it is your first time, welcome

  86. you. I did meet someone for the first

  87. time. We were getting coffee together,

  88. but text the word welcome 918-2157066.

  89. We want to bless you for being here.

  90. This is your first time. If it's your

  91. first time online, just let us know

  92. where you're watching from. We have

  93. people watching all hours of the day,

  94. all parts of the world. We are World

  95. Outreach Church. All right. So again,

  96. text the word welcome to 918-2157066.

  97. If it is your first time, we want to

  98. bless you for being here. you get a free

  99. drink of your choice in the cafe after

  100. service. If you'd prefer not to text,

  101. you can fill out the form that's in the

  102. seat back in front of you. All right,

  103. we're going to plow right through this,

  104. guys. We're jumping right into offering.

  105. That's right. Praise God. Praise God.

  106. Listen, the Bible um and it's not

  107. incorrect, but the Bible's often called

  108. a book of promises, but I prefer it to

  109. call it a book of if thens. Okay? So if

  110. we do our part, then God is allowed to

  111. do his part, right? So often, you know,

  112. we're taught that it's a book of

  113. promises and and then we we treat it

  114. like it's just going to be automatic in

  115. our lives. But there's so many ifs

  116. that are then followed up by his then,

  117. right? And that is the way it works.

  118. That is the point of access. We have to

  119. move to allow God to move. Right? So if

  120. we do this, then this happens.

  121. Deuteronomy 28 is full of our little bit

  122. of if and his lot of bit of then. Right?

  123. We see verse after verse of all the

  124. blessings. Luke 6:38 says that if we

    Luke 6:38

  125. give, then it's given back to us. Good

  126. measure pressed down, shaken together,

  127. and running over. There is an if. And

  128. like always, his then is so much more

  129. than our little bitty if.

  130. >> Right? So we look in Malachi and we find

  131. that if we bring our tithes, then he's

  132. able to rebuke the devour and then he

  133. opens up the windows of heaven and pours

  134. out a blessing that we don't have room

  135. to contain. All these are contingent

  136. upon our ifs. Right? In Isaiah 58, we

  137. find that if we are generous,

  138. if we are generous, then listen to this,

  139. you guys ready? If we're generous, then

  140. our health springs forth speedily,

  141. >> right? The Lord can guide us continually

  142. and even our bones are strengthened,

  143. right? Sometimes it pays to be generous,

  144. >> right? I know I'm preaching to the

  145. choir, but still I'm preaching to the

  146. choir, right? So, there's a lot of ifs

  147. that are followed up by his whole bunch

  148. of thens, right? If we seek the kingdom

  149. first,

  150. >> then all these things are added unto us.

  151. So as you prepare your if right now,

  152. ready your heart to give joyfully

  153. because he follows our ifs up with his

  154. thens. And his thens are so much bigger

  155. than our ifs. All right. So, Father, as

  156. we give today, as we give of what we

  157. have, we thank you first and foremost

  158. that you've given seed for us to sew and

  159. bread for us to eat. But, but as we sew,

  160. we know that your word promises us that

  161. you are such a faithful God. And we know

  162. you to be a faithful God. We know you to

  163. be a good God. And as we give, we know

  164. that it is given back to us good

  165. measure, pressed down, shaken together,

  166. and running over. And we thank you for

  167. that now. and we thank you for this day

  168. and for this great nation in Jesus

  169. precious name. Amen. Now, as they take

  170. up the offering, we just ask that you

  171. turn your attention to the screens.

  172. This land

  173. I love.

  174. This land

  175. of the free. This land of purple

  176. mountain rivers wide wild. The soil of a

  177. billion seeds. Land of Chesapeake and

  178. Cherokee. Land of sojuners seekers. Land

  179. of progress and preacher with the beat

  180. of every burrow. And the hero of the

  181. classroom teacher. This land of Bell

  182. Thomas Edison. Land of Jackie Robinson,

  183. land of bandstand and farmland, blueg

  184. grass and graceand. This land is a

  185. Sunday meal still warm on the kitchen

  186. oven. The warm brilliance of Abraham

  187. Lincoln and the bravery of Harriet

  188. Tubman. This land is a good movie in the

  189. making. An idea in the waking light of

  190. liberty still blazing. A bold prayer in

  191. the praying. Yes, this land is a land

  192. where we never forget. Where we may

  193. fall, but we shall rise.

  194. Land of one small step for man. One

  195. giant leap for mankind. Land of these

  196. many states united, indivisible under

  197. God. Land of dreams on every street and

  198. hope on every block. Land of working.

  199. Land of waiting through the water,

  200. through our fears. Land of our father's

  201. blood. Land of our mother's tears. Land

  202. of 250 years of America. America, the

  203. young and old. America, the people.

  204. America, the beautiful.

  205. This land

  206. I love.

  207. Please stand for the national anthem.

  208. Say

  209. you see

  210. by the dawn early

  211. light.

  212. What so proudly

  213. we held

  214. at the twilight

  215. last gleaming

  216. whose broad stripes and bright stars

  217. through the perilous

  218. fight.

  219. For the ramp parts we watched

  220. were so gallently

  221. streaming.

  222. And the rockets

  223. red.

  224. The bombs bursting

  225. in air

  226. gave proof through the night.

  227. that a flag was still there.

  228. Oh, say does that star spangled

  229. man

  230. yet?

  231. For the land

  232. of the free

  233. and the home

  234. of

  235. Pray.

  236. You may be seated.

  237. As we celebrate the 250th

  238. year of this great nation, we want to

  239. take a moment to pause and honor those

  240. who have served and fought for our

  241. freedoms.

  242. And as you hear the armed medley here,

  243. stand as you are uh sorry, I got a

  244. little distracted by it playing. Please

  245. stand as your Branch is recognized.

  246. Heat. Heat.

  247. United States Air Force.

  248. United States Navy.

  249. Heat. Heat.

  250. United States Marine.

  251. Heat. Heat.

  252. United States Army.

  253. Heat. Heat.

  254. Why don't you guys all rise? We're going

  255. to honor our country and sing a few

  256. patriotic songs. If you know it, why

  257. don't you join with us and sing?

  258. Oh, beautiful

  259. for spacious

  260. skies, for amber

  261. waves of grain,

  262. for purple

  263. mountain

  264. majesties

  265. above the fruited

  266. plain.

  267. America,

  268. America.

  269. God shed his grace on thee

  270. and crown thy good with brotherhood

  271. from sea to shining sea.

  272. Come on, if you know it, help us sing.

  273. Mine eyes have seen the glory.

  274. My eyes are seeing the glory of the

  275. coming of the Lord. He is trampling out

  276. the vintage where the grace of wrath are

  277. sword. He has loos the faithful

  278. lightning of his terrible sword. His

  279. truth is marching

  280. on.

  281. Glory,

  282. glory, hallelujah.

  283. Glory,

  284. glory, hallelujah.

  285. Glory,

  286. glory, hallelujah.

  287. His truth is maring

  288. on.

  289. Glory,

  290. glory, hallelujah.

  291. Glory,

  292. glory, hallelujah.

  293. Glory,

  294. glory, hallelujah.

  295. His truth is maring.

  296. God bless America.

  297. that I love.

  298. Stand beside her

  299. and guide her

  300. through the night with the light from

  301. above.

  302. From the mountains

  303. to the fairies

  304. to the ocean.

  305. I with

  306. God

  307. bless America,

  308. my home sweet

  309. home.

  310. God bless America,

  311. my home.

  312. Sweet.

  313. Oh,

  314. Hallelujah.

  315. My home sweet home.

  316. I brought a hanky just in case.

  317. You know, it's like the more we travel,

  318. the more places God sends us,

  319. the more thankful I am

  320. >> for America.

  321. >> I love America.

  322. >> And may God always bless America.

  323. I'm reminded of the scripture in Psalms

    Psalms 33:12

  324. 33:12

  325. that says, "Blessed is the nation

  326. whose God is the Lord."

  327. >> Blessed is the nation whose God is the

  328. Lord.

  329. >> As long as he's our Lord, our He will

  330. pour out blessings. So, we have a

  331. responsibility.

  332. We have a responsibility

  333. as people of this nation. A nation, what

  334. is a nation? It's made up of people.

  335. When it talks about nations in the

  336. Bible, it's not talking about the land.

  337. It's talking about, it's not talking

  338. about the flags. It's talking about the

  339. people. That's us. That's us. Blessed is

  340. the nation. Blessed are the people whose

  341. God is the Lord. I think one more time

  342. we should just lift up our hands and

  343. thank him. We thank you, Father God, for

  344. this nation. We thank you. We thank you.

  345. We thank you for this nation established

  346. 250 years ago.

  347. We thank you for our nation.

  348. Blessed, blessed, blessed is the nation

  349. whose God is the Lord.

  350. Thank you father. Thank you. We thank

  351. you for it. We don't take it for granted

  352. but we thank you in Jesus name. Amen.

  353. You can be seated.

  354. Hallelujah. Thanks guys. That was

  355. awesome.

  356. How many of you had a great fourth

  357. >> until last night?

  358. I'm like what is happening? What is

  359. happening? So um yeah. So, uh, so much

  360. for the fireworks and jinx. I don't

  361. think that they had them, unless they

  362. had them later. I don't know. But I

  363. could hear them as soon as the lightning

  364. and rain slowed down. I could hear pow

  365. pow pow pow. I thought, "Okay, someone's

  366. having fun." But uh we celebrated

  367. yesterday the 250th

  368. 250th

  369. anniversary

  370. of our country

  371. and the birth of a nation that was

  372. established by our forefathers

  373. with the principles of biblical

  374. principles.

  375. >> That's how it was established. That's

  376. how we started. Our foundation is based

  377. on biblical principles. So I started

  378. started doing some research and um I

  379. read where as early as 1864

  380. 1864

  381. coins being minted

  382. had the motto in God we trust 1864. Now

  383. the nation was established in 1776

  384. and this is 18964. You do the math

  385. because I can't talk and meet do math in

  386. my head at the same time. Not that I

  387. can't do math. No,

  388. I don't even know. But it wasn't that

  389. long after we were established that they

  390. begin to put on coins in God we trust.

  391. And then years later, they begin putting

  392. on our paper money. I don't know any

  393. other country in the world that has in

  394. God we trust on their currency. And

  395. we've h had lot handled lots of currency

  396. through the years. Every nation has its

  397. own currency. At least used to. Now the

  398. EU has the same. But for many years,

  399. every time you changed and crossed the

  400. border, it was a different currency. But

  401. I've never seen in God we trust on their

  402. currency. This was established in our

  403. early days as a nation. In God we trust.

  404. In fact, I found out that in 1956,

  405. which wasn't that long ago. That was the

  406. year I was born.

  407. 70 years ago to be exact. Not that long

  408. ago. Congress made in God we trust the

  409. official national motto.

  410. >> It's not just on our money just because

  411. someone decided to put it on our money.

  412. It is our official national motto in God

  413. we trust so that every time we look at

  414. our money, which is interesting to me.

  415. They're trying to move us to a cashless

  416. society. And when they move us to a

  417. cashless society, we no longer will have

  418. that reminder. I pulled this out of my

  419. wallet this morning. It's a quarter. It

  420. was a minted in 1986,

  421. which was 40 years ago. I know. I have a

  422. quarter that's been around for 40 years.

  423. It makes you wonder how many hands have

  424. had their hands on this, doesn't it?

  425. Never mind. Don't go there. I'm not even

  426. going to think about that. Why did I

  427. even say that? But it is true. Anyway,

  428. it has on it, in God we trust. In God,

  429. every coin that you have has in God we

  430. trust. Every I pulled out a dollar bill

  431. out of my wallet this morning. In God we

  432. trust. It's a reminder that our trust

  433. cannot be in man. Our trust cannot be in

  434. government.

  435. Our trust has to be in God.

  436. >> In God.

  437. Yes. Amen. Our founding fathers not only

  438. recognized the importance of our nation

  439. being established on biblical

  440. principles, but it also recognized that

  441. freedom is precious and worth

  442. protecting.

  443. For years and years, generations have

  444. sacrificed their lives

  445. to protect our freedom. For some of you,

  446. you may have lost a loved one in in a

  447. war in the past. Whether it was World

  448. War II or or all the wars that have been

  449. fought in the years past, you may have

  450. lost a loved one, but we honor them

  451. today. We're thankful and appreciate the

  452. fact that they were protecting our

  453. freedom. My dad was an army medic during

  454. World War II in Papa New Guinea and also

  455. the Philippines. And he took care of the

  456. wounded who were protecting and fighting

  457. for our freedom. We honor them today.

  458. I'm thankful for all the men and women

  459. who serve. This was so fun. Did you not

  460. love seeing the different military

  461. branches? We should do that again. I

  462. love that. Like right now. No,

  463. I love that. I got teeyed. I grabbed my

  464. Kleenex. I'm like, "Oh my lord, I'm

  465. getting teeyed during this first song.

  466. What is this morning going to be like?"

  467. It's okay. I'm prepared. But I love

  468. that. Thank you to each of you who

  469. served. Thank you. Yes.

  470. Last night we had on the uh Washington

  471. DC commemoration of the 250th part of

  472. it, some of it in and out. We were in

  473. and out. that at one point um President

  474. Trump honored these veterans from World

  475. War II and one was 107 years old,

  476. one was 104 years old and he had them

  477. come out and salute the flag of the war

  478. they were in or or place that they were

  479. at. And I'm I'm like, "Oh, my land is

  480. I'm just so

  481. I love my nation and so appreciative."

  482. But these guys, they fought for us. They

  483. defended our freedom. Thank God for

  484. those who fought for us to defended our

  485. freedom. It's because of them that we

  486. still have freedom today. But I'm

  487. telling you, it's so important that we

  488. never take our freedom for granted. Do

  489. not take for granted what we have. Over

  490. the last se 47 years, we have been to

  491. many, many nations. I've never even sat

  492. down to count them. But we started out

  493. in traveling all over Africa and then we

  494. moved into the Asia area. Or maybe went

  495. to Asia first. No, we went to Africa

  496. first, but we were in different nations

  497. in Asia and then God moved us on over

  498. into Europe. We've been all over Europe.

  499. All over Europe. And I'm telling you,

  500. there's not one country that I've been

  501. to that I would trade this country for.

  502. >> I'll say that again. I've been I've been

  503. every My theme song is I've been

  504. everywhere, man. I've been everywhere.

  505. We've been everywhere. But there's not

  506. one country I would trade this country

  507. for.

  508. >> I'll say it again. Not one.

  509. >> Not one country, not one country I would

  510. trade this country for. And for anyone

  511. that that does not love being here, go

  512. ahead. Move.

  513. >> Go for it. I'll buy you the ticket.

  514. Move.

  515. Obviously,

  516. they've never traveled and been to some

  517. of these other countries

  518. >> because we have something that no other

  519. country has.

  520. >> You're taking your privilege for

  521. granted.

  522. >> Okay, we're moving right along.

  523. Is our country perfect? No.

  524. Is do we have problems? Yes. We're not

  525. There is no such thing as a perfect

  526. nation. none whatsoever. But very few

  527. countries have the freedom that we have

  528. and we should never take it for granted.

  529. In fact, yesterday at random I got a

  530. WhatsApp from a friend of ours that's

  531. French. She lives in France and she knew

  532. that we were celebrating the 250. So she

  533. sent a text or WhatsApp audio WhatsApp.

  534. She said, 'I just want to congratulate

  535. you on the 250th anniversary of of

  536. America.

  537. She went on to say, she says, we I'm

  538. obviously uh you born and raised in

  539. France. And she said, France is now a

  540. socialist nation.

  541. And she said this, and I'm going to

  542. quote her. She said, "Socialism is one

  543. step away from communism."

  544. thought it was very interesting that she

  545. would call or text an audio send me an

  546. audio message saying that. I thought,

  547. okay, this is coming from someone living

  548. under this a socialist system. And she

  549. says socialism is one step away from

  550. communism. It's so important that we

  551. know history.

  552. >> So important we know history. Okay,

  553. where are my high school students and my

  554. Gen Z's? Where y'all at? Okay, let me

  555. ask you something. I have a question.

  556. Have y'all learned anything about the

  557. Cold War?

  558. Has anyone not heard anything about the

  559. Cold War? Who knows never heard anything

  560. about the Cold War? Anyone in here not

  561. heard about the Cold War? How about the

  562. Iron Curtain?

  563. Okay, say if you haven't heard about the

  564. Iron Curtain, raise your hand with our

  565. with our young with our young adults,

  566. with our high school students. So I

  567. wonder what's being taught um sometimes

  568. in these in classes. Obviously

  569. not a lot

  570. because we need to know our history. We

  571. need to know the history of Europe. We

  572. need to know the history of the world

  573. basically. But um history there was a

  574. period in time from 1945 to 1991 which

  575. started at the very end of World War II.

  576. My dad was in World War II when it

  577. ended. So it 1945 to 1991 and that

  578. period of time was known as the cold war

  579. and it was a time of rivalry between the

  580. United States and the Soviet Union. And

  581. the reason it was called the cold war is

  582. because they never actually had combat

  583. one with another but their war was more

  584. of a war of competition.

  585. and they competed in the arms race,

  586. building nuclear weapons, the space

  587. race, espionage,

  588. economic and political competition being

  589. two different very two different forms

  590. of government. And then um

  591. with the economic and political

  592. competition, it was basically the the

  593. west versus the east, which would be

  594. communism. So God began sending us to

  595. Europe in the in the early 80s which was

  596. still during the cold war and we

  597. witnessed firsthand

  598. the effects of communism.

  599. The iron curtain

  600. uh was referred to as it was referred to

  601. was an invisible line from the north to

  602. the south of Europe

  603. dividing and marking the difference

  604. between Eastern Europe and Western

  605. Europe. The countries behind the Iron

  606. Curtain were Soviet Union, East Germany,

  607. Poland, Czechoslovakia,

  608. Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia,

  609. Albania.

  610. In fact, when we first started going, we

  611. we kept hearing about Albania. Albania

  612. is this little tiny country, but it was

  613. known and boasted of having the purest

  614. form of communism and atheism. That was

  615. their claim to fame. This little tiny

  616. culture, no one got in and no one got

  617. out from 1945 to 1991.

  618. in uh in what they did they all major

  619. industries in farmland were brought

  620. under state control.

  621. Opposition political parties were

  622. banned. Freedom of speech, religion, and

  623. the press was heavily restricted. In

  624. fact, in 1967, the president of Albania

  625. declared it to be the world's first

  626. officially atheist state,

  627. outlawing public religious practices,

  628. closing or destroying churches,

  629. imprisoning or executing many clergy and

  630. religious leaders, banned religious

  631. education and symbols. The goal was not

  632. to separate religion from state. The

  633. goal was to eliminate religion. totally

  634. eliminate God. Remember, we remember

  635. hearing stories. I mean, don't even

  636. think about going to Albania. No, they

  637. were so proud of the fact that God did

  638. not exist in Albania.

  639. Yeah, right. I remember we went into

  640. Hungary with another missionary be

  641. during communism.

  642. Hungary wasn't as strict a communist

  643. government as some of the other places,

  644. but we went into Hungary and we were we

  645. were scheduled to speak at a church. And

  646. I remember he picked us up where we were

  647. staying and we had our Bibles. And he

  648. says, "Oh, oh, wait, wait." Because we

  649. were going to walk. He says, "You have

  650. to put your Bible in a in a bag of some

  651. kind because if we're seen walking down

  652. the street with our Bible out in the

  653. open, they will arrest us."

  654. So after World War II, not only was

  655. Germany divided into two nations, East

  656. Germany being communist

  657. and then the West Germany being

  658. democratic government, the decision was

  659. made to divide the city of Berlin now in

  660. half. Now think about that. Can you

  661. imagine Tulsa being divided in half?

  662. Half of it is democratic government

  663. free. The other half is communism.

  664. That's what happened in Berlin. Reasons,

  665. you know, NATO or allies occupied part

  666. of it and and Soviet Union. And so they

  667. decided, let's let's just split it down

  668. the middle. So they did. They they

  669. separated it and um they began to build

  670. a wall in 1961

  671. and it was called the Berlin Wall. And

  672. the purpose of it was to keep uh East

  673. Germans from fleeing to the west

  674. Germany. But you know, I've never heard

  675. of any West Germans that wanted to flee

  676. into the east.

  677. Wonder why that was. H interesting,

  678. isn't it? But that Berlin Wall became

  679. the most famous section of the Iron

  680. Curtain, symbolizing the division

  681. between the communist governments of the

  682. East, the democratic governments of the

  683. West. That Berlin wall was a 12 foot

  684. wall, concrete, made out of concrete,

  685. solid,

  686. and on top would be armed guards with

  687. guns patrolling it. There were guard

  688. towers, barbwire fences. We saw the the

  689. Berlin Wall. We were there. We witnessed

  690. it. The whole thing, we witnessed it.

  691. And we were told stories from people

  692. over in West Germany of people that they

  693. they knew over into the East German East

  694. Berlin that would try to escape and they

  695. would be killed, shot. There was no

  696. escape. Yet behind those barriers, the

  697. gospel was moving right along in free

  698. course. It was spreading. And believers

  699. that were being persecuted remained

  700. faithful.

  701. Then God opened the door for us. I would

  702. say it was probably uh mid 80s now to go

  703. into a church in West Berlin

  704. every few weeks.

  705. And what we would do is teach in the

  706. Bible school. We would teach subjects

  707. like faith, healing,

  708. praise and worship, how to be led, just

  709. anything and everything in the Bible.

  710. and it was being translated into German.

  711. So we had a German translator with us.

  712. So it was bilingual, English, German. We

  713. did that every few weeks. We made so

  714. many video recordings. But what they

  715. would do with those video recordings is

  716. they would duplicate them

  717. and have someone smuggle them in to East

  718. Berlin. And once they reached East

  719. Berlin, they spread all over East

  720. Germany.

  721. You cannot stop the gospel.

  722. >> The gospel will not be contained or

  723. restrained. Those people risked their

  724. lives to smuggle these videos in. So

  725. over time we kept going back and over

  726. time they began to bring other

  727. translators, people that had come out of

  728. some of the other countries and ended up

  729. in East Ber West Berlin. They would use

  730. them to translate into different

  731. languages. I don't even know how many

  732. languages. Lots of the Eastern European

  733. languages were translated with these

  734. same English into whatever language or

  735. German into whatever language and they

  736. duplicated them more and more and more

  737. and they continued to smuggle them all

  738. over not just not just East Germany but

  739. now they're going all over the east. The

  740. word of God shall prevail.

  741. So um then in 88 this was all before all

  742. before the wall came down in 88 we were

  743. invited to speak at a government

  744. sanctioned a government sanctioned faith

  745. conference in East Berlin

  746. and um this is again before the wall

  747. came down and uh it was the first of its

  748. kind. The government gave us permission

  749. to come and give greetings.

  750. So we gave greetings with scripture.

  751. >> We greet you with you can do all things

  752. through Christ who strengthens you. It

  753. was our loophole just to give greetings.

  754. And so um every morning we were every

  755. morning we would get up. We would take

  756. the subway. There was a checkpoint. Have

  757. you ever heard of Checkpoint Charlie?

  758. Well that was for cars. This was the

  759. subway which had a Checkpoint Charlie

  760. basically underground when we would come

  761. up. But we didn't have a car so we were

  762. taking the subway. We would take the

  763. subway and we would come up and before

  764. we came out of the subway station, we

  765. would have to go through uh border

  766. control and they would be sitting in and

  767. if a man would be sitting in this little

  768. box. I can still see it in my mind and

  769. um you could only go up one at a time

  770. which I'm like he's my security blanket

  771. you know but we tried that and they you

  772. know he said want it. So, we went up. I

  773. went up and I was standing there and I

  774. handed him my passport and he looks at

  775. my passport and then he stares at me.

  776. Stares into my eyes. Doesn't say a word.

  777. Stares into my eyes. And I continued to

  778. just watch. Finally, I lifted up my

  779. bangs and I said, "It's me."

  780. And I laughed. He didn't laugh. I didn't

  781. think that was very funny. So, I went,

  782. "Okay, that's fine." So, uh, but every

  783. day and then we would come out the other

  784. side. They would give us a 12-h hour

  785. visa because we could not stay uh past

  786. the 12-hour visa or we would be

  787. arrested. So, but we would would come

  788. out the other side. There was this young

  789. man named Fred.

  790. He was sitting uh outside in this

  791. trabant. I don't know if any of you know

  792. what a trabant is, but it's it's like a

  793. square box of a vehicle that sounds like

  794. a a lawn mower when you start it. And

  795. it's not very big. It it was very very

  796. small for three people, but we we'd get

  797. in it with him and he would take us to

  798. the church.

  799. The first time we walked into church,

  800. it was full full of people.

  801. Three balconies full.

  802. Three balconies full. We didn't have any

  803. idea what to expect. You know, are we

  804. going to like a a a small little

  805. building that, you know, with a few

  806. people? We didn't care. We just knew we

  807. were supposed to get in there. And when

  808. we walked in,

  809. hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of

  810. people were worshiping God freely. They

  811. were okay to do what they wanted to do

  812. as well. It was a government sanctioned,

  813. so the government was aware. We weren't

  814. hiding anything. They weren't hiding

  815. anything. And as long as they were in

  816. that building, they could do whatever

  817. they wanted to do. And so we joined in

  818. with their worship. And it was so

  819. amazing to worship with people who

  820. outside of that building were were They

  821. didn't have freedom. But you know the

  822. Bible says where the spirit of the Lord

  823. is there is freedom and there was such

  824. freedom in those services. Uh it was

  825. something that we will never ever ever

  826. ever forget. So um every night then he

  827. would take us we would take us back drop

  828. us off at the subway and then we would

  829. repeat the same thing the next day. But

  830. a few years ago, someone who attended

  831. those meetings um was here in town and

  832. we met up with them and they said, "Did

  833. you know, this is just in recent years,

  834. they said, "Did you know that we found

  835. out that there were snipers on all the

  836. buildings around and they were watching

  837. who was going in and who was going out

  838. and they were watching you like,

  839. "No, but I have big angels."

  840. They don't miss a thing. They knew we

  841. were there, but because it was

  842. government sanctioned, we could do

  843. whatever we want in there. But he also

  844. told us, he said they found a list of

  845. pastors, some that were at that meeting,

  846. Christians, and the government had plans

  847. to uh kill them, either arrest them,

  848. send them to prison, and put them away,

  849. or to kill them. He said, "We found the

  850. list after the wall came down." But the

  851. word of the Lord began to spread

  852. throughout East Germany down on into um

  853. the other communist countries in Eastern

  854. Europe. And it said that the the uh they

  855. attribute it to the believers learning

  856. their authority.

  857. They learned to use and exercise their

  858. authority. They learned to use their

  859. faith to use their faith in prayer. And

  860. they begin to pray for that the Berlin

  861. Wall to come down. They begin to pray

  862. for that communist government regime to

  863. crumble. Crumble. And you know, we've

  864. heard through the years, yeah, we, you

  865. know, people in the West, yeah, we we we

  866. we prayed that wall down. And I'm like,

  867. no, you didn't. You might have tried to

  868. help, which you helped, but those people

  869. behind the wall learned of their

  870. authority and they prayed. And I'm

  871. telling you what, on November 9th, 1989,

  872. that wall was no more. Was no more. And

  873. the fall of the Berlin Wall was a

  874. powerful reminder that no human

  875. government can permanently stop the

  876. purposes of God. And when that wall

  877. fell, it didn't well, it didn't

  878. literally fall. The government changed.

  879. However, when that started happening, it

  880. was like a domino effect. nation after

  881. nation began to experience freedom.

  882. Then in the spring of 1990 after the

  883. wall had come down we could we could

  884. freely travel you know freedom of

  885. movement freedom of travel was not

  886. allowed to the uh East Germans or to

  887. anyone going into East Germany for that

  888. matter. But after the wall came down

  889. communism changed we were able to go

  890. into uh the east former East Germany. So

  891. we went to this city called Nordhousen

  892. to minister and there we connected again

  893. with our driver Fred Uve Winkler was his

  894. name. We were so glad to see him. There

  895. was just a God connection. We knew it

  896. from the very beginning. He was the

  897. kindest kindest young man. And so he we

  898. got to be talking with him and uh he had

  899. was getting really turned on to the word

  900. of God. And so we talked to him about

  901. bringing him over to America to go to a

  902. year of Rama.

  903. And so through a series of miracles, he

  904. was able to get a visa. This is like the

  905. next year after the wall came, not not

  906. even a year later.

  907. He able to get a visa. We were able to

  908. bring him over and he attended Rama for

  909. a solid year and then went back and he

  910. began pastoring. We stayed connected

  911. through the years. We actually went back

  912. over. He invited us to come do his

  913. wedding. So we flew over a couple years

  914. later, did his wedding. Now he's uh

  915. still pastoring. He's a father and he's

  916. a grandfather. So what does that say? He

  917. his kids must have gotten married really

  918. young,

  919. but we've stayed in touch through the

  920. years.

  921. Uh it's just, you know, when you get

  922. connections like that, it's a God thing.

  923. And so we've stayed in touch. And a few

  924. weeks ago, I reached out to him because

  925. when I knew we were going to do this

  926. service, I just started having things

  927. run roll over in me and roll around in

  928. me that I needed to share because we

  929. have to know. We have to know. We have

  930. to be informed. And so, um, I I just

  931. said, "Could you describe life under

  932. communism?"

  933. And he replied, and this is what he

  934. sent. Dear Janet, I often think back on

  935. those times in the 80s when you and your

  936. wonderful husband used to come to East

  937. Germany before the wall came down. You

  938. were such a blessing and encouragement

  939. to us all. You have swn so much seed

  940. into us over the years and decades. A

  941. lot of fruit came forth from that,

  942. probably more than you know and even can

  943. imagine. The level of persecution of

  944. Christians during the rule of communism

  945. varied between the different East

  946. European countries. In East Germany, it

  947. wasn't by far as brutal as in countries

  948. like the Soviet Union and Romania. It

  949. was not against the law to be a

  950. Christian or gather in our church

  951. facilities, but it was not allowed to

  952. start new churches or be visible in any

  953. way as a Christian or a body of

  954. believers in public. Our government

  955. thought that Christianity would

  956. eventually die out if they would hedge

  957. us in our church environment. And to a

  958. certain degree, that plan succeeded.

  959. As believers, we would not join the

  960. communist youth organizations or the

  961. communist party because they were

  962. strictly atheist and anti-God.

  963. But the price for that was not being

  964. able to have any kind of career in our

  965. society. So, a lot of Christians left

  966. the church for the sake of a seemingly

  967. good and more successful life. They

  968. compromised and thought they could be

  969. undercover Christians with no official

  970. ties to a church and hardly ever talked

  971. about their faith in God. They became

  972. members of the Communist Party and came

  973. up through the ranks in the system. But

  974. their children and grandchildren never

  975. heard anything about God, but were

  976. indoctrinated with com communist

  977. propaganda.

  978. But thanks to you and others, a remnant

  979. remained during those 40 years of

  980. communism that we had in our country.

  981. You broke the bread of life to us and

  982. fed us good and solid teaching that was

  983. very scarce during those years in our

  984. part of the country. Of course, you or

  985. other Westerners were not allowed by our

  986. government to speak in our meetings

  987. because you were considered enemies of

  988. our precious socialist country. The law

  989. required you as foreigners to submit

  990. your messages weeks in advance to the

  991. communist officials and have them edited

  992. and eventually approved. And then you

  993. also would have to apply for a special

  994. religious visa weeks or even months in

  995. advance. But you know, we never did that

  996. because the law left a loophole open. If

  997. you would visit one of our meetings

  998. spontaneously on a tourist visa, you

  999. were allowed to give a brief greeting

1000. address. So that was our story towards

1001. the government if anyone asked. Of

1002. course, there were always spies from the

1003. secret police in our meetings and they

1004. knew exactly what was going on. I assume

1005. they even had a file on you. But because

1006. your message was never political and

1007. your ministry never was visible in

1008. public outside our church environment,

1009. they did not intervene. If they would

1010. have understood the spiritual magnitude

1011. and effect of the message you brought to

1012. us, they probably would have stopped you

1013. and kicked you out of the country.

1014. In the city of Su where we are at right

1015. now, the percentage of atheists is still

1016. extremely high. A lot of people don't

1017. even know what Christmas or Easter is

1018. all about, but this is about to change.

1019. They are finding Jesus and it's so

1020. beautiful to see. You don't have to deal

1021. with a lot of religious mindsets. They

1022. are like a blank sheet of paper.

1023. Please say hello to your whole

1024. congregation from us. And please warn

  1025. them.

1026. Communism is a very evil system that

1027. destroys whole nations. We have

  1028. firsthand experience with that.

  1029. blessings, Fred.

  1030. Pretty amazing. Pretty sobering.

1031. So, today is not a political service.

1032. Today is a day about freedom. This is

1033. all about freedom, protecting our

  1034. freedoms. It's what we've done since

1035. since the country was born. For 250

1036. years, we've protected our freedom. And

1037. as Fred said, called it an evil system.

1038. This evil system seems to be trying to

1039. stick its head up. But we must pray. We

1040. must use our authority. We must take a

1041. stand against whatever the devil has

1042. tried to plan for our nation. He cannot

1043. have our nation. Blessed is the nation

1044. whose God is the Lord.

1045. >> That's why we must obey what he said to

1046. us to pray to pray for those in

1047. authority. Pray for those that we just

1048. the ones we like. That's easy.

1049. No, we don't pray for just the ones we

1050. like. He said, "Pray period. Pray for

1051. those in authority." So, we have a

1052. responsibility to do that. Why? So that

1053. we will live a quiet and peaceful life.

1054. We must always thank God for our

1055. freedoms. We must guard and protect our

1056. freedoms so that history does not repeat

  1057. itself in our nation.

1058. But as wonderful as those freedoms are,

1059. the greatest freedom of all is the

1060. freedom Jesus came to provide.

1061. That freedom, true freedom, comes from

1062. Jesus. And it's a freedom that no

1063. government can can grant and no

1064. government can take. Jesus came to set

1065. us free from bondage, just like we were

1066. singing about in the very early part of

1067. the service. And the greatest chains of

  1068. bondage

  1069. are usually invisible.

1070. They're invisible chains like chain of

  1071. guilt,

1072. the chain of chain of shame, the chain

  1073. of addiction,

1074. the chain of bitterness, the chain of

1075. fear, the chain of pride. They're not

1076. tangible. You can't see them. You can't

1077. touch them. But I'm telling you what,

1078. they are very real. And they are chains

1079. of bondage which Jesus came to set us

1080. free from. A person can live in a free

1081. country and still be imprisoned by

  1082. invisible chains of bondage.

1083. But Jesus came to break the chains once

  1084. and for all.

1085. >> At the cross. Yes. At the cross. He paid

1086. the debt of sin. Through his

1087. resurrection. He defeated the power of

1088. death. And through his spirit he gives

1089. believers the power. the power to live a

  1090. new life.

1091. >> The Apostle Paul wrote in Galatians 5:1,

    Galatians 5:1

1092. "At last, we have freedom. For Christ

1093. has set us free. We must always cherish

1094. this truth and firmly refuse to go back

1095. into bondage of our past. When we

  1096. received Jesus, a complete

1097. transformation took place. The we became

1098. new creatures in Christ. Old thing

1099. passed away. Behold, all was new. that

1100. person, that former person no longer

  1101. exists. We aren't just repaired. We've

1102. been recreated. I'll say that again. We

1103. aren't just repaired. We are recreated

1104. by God to live in freedom.

1105. >> And only Jesus only Jesus

  1106. provides that freedom.

1107. >> And that freedom that lasts.

1108. But more importantly than anything, we

1109. thank them for our blessings. We thank

1110. him for our freedoms, but we must always

  1111. thank him for Jesus.

1112. Because the greatest Declaration of

1113. Independence was not signed in

1114. Philadelphia. It was accomplished at

  1115. Calvary.

  1116. At Calvary.

1117. And when the sun sets us free, we are

  1118. free indeed.

1119. Come on, just lift up your hands.

1120. >> We thank you, Father. We thank you for

1121. our freedom. We thank you for this

1122. nation. We thank you, Lord. We give you

1123. praise. We give you glory. Hallelujah,

  1124. Pastor Mark.

  1125. Thank you, Pastor Janet.

  1126. >> Yes,

1127. these things are so important. so

  1128. necessary.

1129. You know, these things she's

1130. rehearsing, reiterating, uh, you know,

1131. it's kind of wild to look back about a

1132. hundred years and realize that was us.

1133. Uh, not a hundred but a few.

1134. But to go into those countries, um, like

1135. she said, what's the song I've been

1136. everywhere, man? Uh, we started out,

1137. goodness, when we got married, she she

1138. was brave enough to what's what's the

1139. verse? She says, "Whisoever thou goest,

1140. I will go." You know, she she prayed

1141. that at our uh wedding. And uh I think

1142. there are times she thought, "What in

1143. the world did I get myself into?"

1144. Because we we had God has given us the

1145. the privilege to go to a lot of places.

  1146. Uh I don't know. She We haven't really

1147. We used to count it up. Finally just

1148. gave up counting. Once we hit 50ome

1149. nations after that, I have no idea how

1150. many places we've been. Doesn't make any

1151. difference. But um um uh before we close

1152. this morning, uh I want us to pray. I'm

1153. going to pray for the nation. You know,

1154. just so many things uh you know,

1155. goodness, talking about going into East

  1156. Germany, East Berlin. Uh

1157. you know, uh oh, and on and on and on.

1158. Actually, we were just in a meeting. We

1159. just got home yesterday from uh Pastor

1160. Sam Carr's Freedom Crusade in Shreport.

1161. We've been going every year for many

  1162. years now, and it's always a a blessing,

1163. a treat for us. But this year, we got to

1164. meet uh two different couples. One um uh

1165. one couple real close to Greg and Carol

1166. uh from from uh Africa. Thank you. And

1167. uh uh and then there was another couple

1168. we met and uh we got talking to them for

1169. a few minutes and and u uh they uh they

1170. were from they said we said where you

1171. from? They said we we're over here from

  1172. from uh uh

1173. Bulgaria for and I said oh yeah I said

1174. we we're in Sophia at one time and

  1175. that's apparently the area they're from.

1176. and uh said, "Yeah, we we went to right

1177. after the Berlin Wall came down, we uh

1178. we took a trip over into, you know,

1179. Bulgaria began to open up and we went

1180. into Sophia, Bulgaria. We were in a

1181. meeting. Uh it was kind of in a was in a

1182. kind of a fairly big room, but it was

  1183. like a basement."

1184. And uh uh I said, "Yeah, we did a

1185. meeting over there." I can still

1186. remember it because I remember God

1187. people were getting healed people. I

1188. mean, we weren't laying hands on folks.

1189. They were getting healed, doubting the

1190. crowd. God was just God was just moving.

1191. These people, they had God taken away

1192. from them for 50 years and all of a

1193. sudden they had the freedom to meet him.

1194. And all he did was just start preaching

1195. the gospel and people would start

1196. getting results. And we had these little

1197. old Bulgarian uh women coming to the

1198. front and one had gotten healed of back

1199. problems and one had gotten healed of

1200. another problem. And God was doing

1201. amazing things. And I said, "Yeah." I

1202. said, "We we did a meeting over there.

1203. Had a wonderful time over there in

1204. Sophia and had this this young amazing

1205. young lady. She'd been put into prison

1206. more than once. Taken, I should say,

1207. taken to prison more than once because

1208. she spoke English. They thought because

1209. she spoke English, she must be a spy.

1210. And so, she'd gone in for that. And I

1211. said, "Yeah." I said, "This really sweet

1212. young lady." Uh, her name was, I think,

1213. Liji. And, uh, he said, "Oh, yeah. She's

1214. still going strong over there." This

  1215. that was 19 1990, so we're a couple

1216. years down the road. But uh you know

1217. just so much to to go back over there

1218. now and see a communist system and you

1219. know you might might as well be honest

1220. about it. Communism is not a doctrinal

1221. thing. Communism is not a political

1222. issue. Communism is a spirit.

1223. >> Do I need to say that again?

1224. >> You know if you don't think so, you're

1225. talking to the wrong person. And uh

1226. communism is it's the operation of a

1227. spirit that gets a hold of people to run

1228. God out and bring the devil in. And uh

1229. you know so to go back over there and to

1230. see uh the communist system, it was you

1231. know right out of pretty pretty much out

1232. of Moscow, but the communist system that

1233. was in uh throughout primarily Eastern

1234. Europe with of course a lot of other

1235. places. But uh in that particular system

1236. um going back over there to to to talk

1237. to people now and I said oh I said you

1238. know Sophia Bulgaria was a you know it

1239. was a interesting place and he said he

1240. said we we have I don't know how many

1241. churches they have here there now he and

1242. his wife pastor there amazing people and

1243. he said uh you wouldn't recognize it now

  1244. it's a different place and I thought to

1245. see what God can do from 1990

1246. to 2026 six, he said, "You wouldn't

1247. recognize the place now. Everything's

1248. totally different there." And I thought

1249. to see what the gospel will do in a

1250. nation if we just let God have his

1251. opportunity. Let the word do what it's

1252. supposed to do. Just continue to preach

1253. the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and

1254. get people to hear it, believe it, act

1255. on it, and do it. Uh it'll it'll change

1256. a nation. That's why America is what

  1257. America is

1258. >> just because of the gospel.

1259. >> Just because of the gospel and people

1260. that heard it, believed it, and did it.

1261. And uh and we have we have not seen the

1262. best yet. And so I just wanted to land

  1263. on a couple things. There's a so many

1264. directions we could go. And uh every

1265. time Pastor Jan every time she'd land on

1266. something, I think, "Oh yeah, we could

1267. we could land on that and go another

1268. hour." But uh not at this particular

  1269. point. But anyway, um

1270. you know, uh to go back through and just

1271. to see uh what what God has done in the

1272. different nations, particularly in that

1273. part of the world, what he's done in

1274. this nation, what he's done in America,

1275. where we are, what we've got, um you

  1276. know, uh

1277. you know, I talked to somebody the other

1278. day and I said, I'd made the comment I

1279. said, you know, it doesn't matter where

1280. you go, you can go to the best nations

1281. in the world, but wherever you go, you

1282. know, if you really honest about it.

1283. When you get get back to America, you

1284. want to get out and kiss the ground

1285. because there's nothing nothing like it

1286. isn't just like being home. It's like

1287. being in something something that has a

1288. a presence to it. Like she said, our

1289. money God raised up a nation where he

1290. could put his name on everything.

1291. >> God raised up a nation where we could

1292. send money everywhere, send people

1293. everywhere, send the gospel everywhere,

1294. send the message everywhere. God raised

1295. up a nation for one specific purpose,

1296. and that's for the goodness of the Lord

1297. Jesus Christ. And so, uh, so anyway, we

1298. want to take just a moment. We want to,

1299. uh, want to pray. Uh, you know, Paul,

1300. Paul, the Apostle Paul made the

  1301. statement

  1302. to, uh, the Thessalonians.

1303. And, uh, he made I, I'll read the first

  1304. couple verses, chapter 2, 2

    2 Thessalonians 2 chapter mention

1305. Thessalonians chapter 2, verse one. Now

1306. we beseech you, brethren, by the coming

1307. of our Lord Jesus Christ, that by and by

1308. our gathering together unto him, talking

1309. about the return of Jesus, the rapture

1310. of the church, that ye be not soon

1311. shaken in mind or be troubled, neither

1312. by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter,

1313. as from us, is the as that as that the

1314. day of Christ is at hand. Let no man

1315. deceive you by any means for that day

1316. the return of the Lord Jesus even up to

1317. the you know the the the

1318. part after the church leaves. Okay, the

1319. tribulation period. He says for let no

1320. man deceive you by any means for that

1321. day shall not come except there shall

1322. come first a great departure. One

1323. translation says falling away but if you

1324. go back the amplified says there's going

1325. to come a great departure as in the

1326. departure of the church. that day will

1327. not come except there will come first a

1328. great departure and then the man of sin

1329. shall be revealed the son of predition.

1330. And anyway, you know, the church was

1331. getting a little confused back there.

1332. They thought we're heading into the

1333. tribulation period. And Paul said, don't

1334. let that bother you because the

1335. tribulation's not going to come till the

1336. church is gone. And the church is going

1337. to go and when the church goes, the

1338. tribulation will start and it'll be the

1339. seven years and so on. But um

1340. they had a little issue with that. So

1341. Paul said, "Don't let anybody don't let

1342. anyone deceive you because there will

1343. come a tribulation time. There will come

  1344. a there's there's going to come some

  1345. difficult times. There'll come a a

1346. seven-year period where the Antichrist

1347. will come into power, but he'll never be

1348. able to step into his place, his throne.

1349. He'll never be able to do that until the

1350. church is gone." And you know, I was

1351. just thinking about that a while ago. We

1352. we sometimes forget the authority we

1353. have. There's a lot that could, should,

1354. would take place in America, but it

1355. can't as long as you and I are here.

1356. >> As long as we are on planet Earth, as

1357. long as we are in our nation, there's

1358. something about this place that because

1359. the church is alive and well, there's a

1360. lot that the devil wants to do, but he

1361. can't do. The Antichrist would love to

1362. step into power and take over. He can't

1363. do anything until the church goes.

1364. And that may not be far away, but

1365. anyway. And then of course of Paul you

1366. know writing to Timothy he said 1

    1 Timothy 2 chapter mention

1367. Timothy chapter 2 he said uh I exhort

1368. therefore that first of all and this is

1369. why we're going to pray. I exhort

1370. therefore that first of all

  1371. supplications prayers intercessions and

1372. giving of thanks be made for all men but

1373. especially for kings and those in

1374. authority. Why? So that we may lead a

1375. quiet and peaceable life in all

1376. godliness and honesty. One translation

1377. says and all freedom of religion and

1378. high moral standards. for this is good

1379. and acceptable in the sight of God who

1380. would have all men to be saved and to

1381. come unto the knowledge of the truth.

1382. And you can go back through that. You

1383. can find that 1 Timothy chapter uh two

1384. starting in verse one. And um I was

1385. thinking about that and as we start to

1386. head over into prayer, we're going to

  1387. pray corporately. I'll pray and we're

1388. all going to pray. Uh good way to finish

1389. the this birthday service 250 years. But

  1390. I remember uh I've got it. It's It's

1391. actually in my It's in my iPad and it's

1392. in my iPhone and it's in my car. It goes

1393. everywhere with me. Um uh October 10th,

  1394. 1974.

1395. October 10th, there was a service in

  1396. Longmont, Colorado. October 10th, 1974.

  1397. Brother Hagen, I didn't know what a

1398. prophet was. I knew what a nonprofit

  1399. was. I just didn't know what a prophet

1400. was. I had just shown up here at Rama. I

  1401. didn't know what a Rama was. I didn't

  1402. know what I was doing. I didn't know

1403. what a Bible school was. I just knew I

1404. needed to come to this place in Tulsa,

1405. whatever it was. I'd been in real

1406. estate. I just turned my license in and

1407. packed a suitcase and flew down here.

1408. Had a friend that had an apartment down

1409. here. He said I could crash on his couch

1410. for a while. And uh but I came down here

  1411. and

1412. and I got in really in just a week or

1413. two before that. Brother Hagen was doing

1414. a meeting in Colorado and he stepped

1415. over into that place, the the what we

1416. call the office of the prophet. Okay, he

1417. walked in that he was a prophet and a

1418. teacher. Okay, there is that that those

1419. gift stars are still alive and well

1420. today. And he uh um stepped over into

  1421. that place. Okay, October 10th, 1974

1422. evening service and stepped over into

1423. that place. And I won't go into all of

1424. it because it was a whole service. But

1425. at one particular point, he he landed on

1426. one particular thing and he made this

1427. statement. He said, "No, America is not

  1428. finished.

1429. America's not done. The best yet in so

1430. many words. I'll put it this way. The

1431. best is yet to come." This is a few

1432. years ago, but he made this statement

1433. and he said, "And there will be one that

1434. will come on the scenes." All right.

1435. Now, you can you can take things the

1436. Holy Ghost says and you can try to

  1437. interpret it, misinterpret it,

1438. miscalculate it, do anything. I tried

1439. all that. So, I really don't know

1440. exactly what all this meant. But this

  1441. was in October 10th, 1974.

1442. And um he said, "There will come one.

1443. There will come one on the scene who

1444. will say, I'll walk in his way. I'll

1445. obey Lord. I'll the Lord. I I will take

1446. this nation in the right direction."

1447. That's not exactly what it was. I've

1448. still got it in my phone. And I've got

1449. the exact wording of it. It's I still

1450. have it on on on audio. But um you know,

  1451. I I I remember, you know, back I

1452. remember the time when I thought he must

1453. have been talking about uh you know,

1454. President uh Ronald Reagan because he

1455. did rise up and and lead the nation. You

1456. know, he's the one that stood up and

1457. said, you know, Mr. Gorbachev, take down

1458. this wall. He he did lead this nation in

  1459. a great way. And I don't I know there

1460. are people of different opinions and

  1461. different persuasions and different

1462. ideas and all that, you know. Um but uh

1463. right now God didn't really give he

1464. didn't give us a pope. He gave us a

  1465. president.

1466. >> And whether folks like him or not has

1467. got nothing to do whether whether folks

1468. agree with him or not has nothing to do

1469. with it because he's been able to be

1470. into a place and in so many words been

1471. able to stand in a place and lead the

1472. nation in the things of the of the

1473. spirit of God. Some war wars have been

1474. stopped. Some have been slowed down.

  1475. There've been a whole lot that's going

1476. on. Whether it's in Israel, whether it's

1477. in the Ukraine, whatever. But God raised

1478. up a man and there are Bible studies

1479. that are taking place in the White

1480. House. There are things going on. There

1481. are people that are praying there. There

1482. are folks that are uh worshiping God.

  1483. There's there's a lot going on. And uh

1484. the bottom line, whether we agree or

1485. not, whether we like it or not, we have

1486. one responsibility. The reason the

1487. church, excuse me, the reason the

1488. nations where it is is because of the

  1489. church,

1490. >> good, bad, or ugly, it's going to be up

1491. to the church. Where we go in the days

1492. to come is going to be up to the church.

1493. There, we've not yet seen our best days.

1494. We've not yet seen the greatest rain.

1495. We've not yet seen the greatest harvest.

1496. We've not yet seen the greatest uh

1497. ministry of the Holy Ghost bringing in

1498. masses of souls into the kingdom of God,

1499. not only around the world, but also in

  1500. this nation.

1501. >> Okay. Well, when when's God going to do

1502. it? It's not up to God anymore. He left

1503. it up to the church.

1504. >> That's what Paul was writing to the

1505. church in to the Thessalonians. He's

1506. left it up to us. Okay? We We're going

1507. to get from God. You have not because

  1508. you

1509. >> ask not. Ask and you shall receive that

1510. your joy may be full. God's given the

1511. church the responsibility and the

1512. authority and the dominion to pray. And

1513. if we'll do our job, God will um elevate

1514. and cause a Holy Ghost explosion in our

1515. nation. And uh one of the things we need

1516. to pray is God, give us one more

1517. opportunity to raise up a generation of

1518. folks and send them to the nations of

  1519. the world.

  1520. >> Okay? We need

  1521. >> and I I don't need to go any further

1522. with this, but we need we need another

1523. we need another outpouring of a group of

1524. people with a pioneer spirit about them.

  1525. >> I don't know about you. I don't know if

1526. any of you remember that from the, you

1527. know, from the 70s and the 80s and over

1528. into the early 90s, but there was an

1529. outpouring of folks coming from

1530. everywhere that just had a pioneer

1531. spirit about them. Just get out of my

  1532. way. I don't need money. I don't need

  1533. stuff. I don't need I don't need

  1534. equipment. I don't I don't need visas.

1535. Just Just give me an opportunity. I'll

1536. go change a nation. And today, they're

1537. all over the world. People that had a

1538. pioneer spirit. We need one more

1539. outpouring of the Holy Ghost, God, to

1540. raise up, you know, the Gen Z's are

1541. going to be the best people in the world

1542. to touch the nations of the world,

1543. >> but they're not taking our spot.

1544. Hallelujah. Anyway, let's go ahead and

1545. let's just stand to our feet and let's

1546. take a moment to pray.

1547. >> Let's pray for this nation, for divine

  1548. protection. I don't know about you, I I

  1549. I know I know I can I can I can, for

1550. lack of a better term, I can smell that

1551. that communist spirit. I can get into a

1552. nation and know what the I we can get in

1553. there and basically tell you what the

1554. government system is because it's not

  1555. just a government system. It's a spirit.

1556. You can get into a country and you can

1557. almost smell that thing. And it's not

  1558. coming in this nation.

1559. >> It's trying in New York. It's trying in

  1560. Colorado. It's trying in Chicago. It's

  1561. trying in California. It's trying. It's

1562. trying anywhere some folks will yield to

1563. that. We're not blaming the people

  1564. who has the authority.

1565. >> It's up to us. Let's pray. Father, in

1566. the wonderful name of Jesus. Thank we

1567. thank you. We thank you. We thank you

1568. Lord. We are eternally eternally

  1569. permanently grateful. Eternally grateful

1570. for the gospel, for the good news, for

  1571. redemption,

1572. for the price you've already paid. We're

  1573. we're we're already so grateful, so

1574. thankful. If that's all there was, that

1575. would be great. But that's not all there

1576. is. And we're eternally grateful for

1577. what you've done for us and in us and to

1578. us and through us. But for we've not yet

1579. seen our best days. We've not yet seen

1580. your best ways, Father. There's the best

1581. that's yet to come. The church is about

1582. to rise up and run. Great things are

1583. going to take place. But you left that

1584. authority up to the church. The the

1585. Antichrist can't even take his place

1586. until we're gone. And you said what

1587. we're supposed to do is pray for kings

1588. and those that are in authority. So we

1589. take time right now. We pray first of

1590. all for our leadership, our president.

1591. We pray for President Trump, dear

1592. Father. We pray for his health, his

1593. protection, his wisdom, his energy. We

1594. pray for the for him to do exactly what

1595. he needs to do by your direction. We

1596. trust you to lead and guide what he

1597. needs to do for the uh for the health

1598. and well-being of the church so we can

1599. do our job. So we pray for our

1600. president, our vice president. We pray

1601. for the Supreme Court. We pray for

1602. Congress. We pray for the governors. We

1603. pray for the mayors. Father, all those

1604. in authority. We pray, Father, for kings

1605. and those that are in authority that we

1606. may lead a quiet and peaceable life in

1607. all godliness and honesty. We pray for

1608. them, dear father, in the name of Jesus.

  1609. >> Hallelujah.

1610. >> We thank you for that, dear father. Our

1611. prayers avail much. Our prayers avail

1612. much. Much can't be done by the devil

1613. because the church is still here. Much

1614. will never take place from the kingdom

1615. of darkness because the kingdom of light

1616. is in full force down here. So we thank

1617. you for that, Father. And we pray. We

1618. pray in the name of Jesus. We pray,

1619. Father. Hallelujah. And we we lift up

  1620. the church now.

1621. >> We lift up the church. May there come a

1622. a great explosion of your power, your

1623. presence in the church world. May we

1624. come into a place we haven't been to in

1625. years. May there be a an outpouring of a

1626. a pioneer spirit. I know, dear Lord,

  1627. there's a stirring on the inside.

  1628. There's a dimension of a pioneer spirit

1629. if we just Lord, give us one more shot

1630. at that. Give us one more opportunity to

1631. take the good news of Jesus to the

1632. nations of the world. Give us one more

1633. opportunity to send the Gen Z's to send

  1634. uh send every generation.

1635. Send groups from every gen. Give us

1636. Lord, give us one more opportunity.

1637. the money will come, the doors will

1638. come, the visas will come. What we need

1639. is for the people to come. We thank you,

1640. dear Father, and we trust you for that.

1641. Thank you, Father. We pray over this

1642. nation. We We are so grateful for 250

1643. years, but thank you, Father. Maybe

  1644. we've got 50 left. I don't know what

1645. we've got left, but in the time we got

1646. left, I pray that you'll give us the

1647. opportunity to do what you raised this

1648. nation up to do. You put your name on

1649. everything. You put your presence on

1650. everything. You raised it up. You've

1651. given us the freedom to go all over the

1652. world with the good news of Jesus. We

1653. have the privilege. We have the ability.

1654. We have the authority. Now all we need

  1655. is the people

1656. and we thank you for it in the wonderful

  1657. name of Jesus. Hallelujah.

1658. >> Glory to God. Hallelujah. Before we

  1659. leave,

1660. there will be a great demonstration of

1661. your power, your wisdom, your authority,

1662. your dominion. And we thank you for it

1663. in Jesus name. Father. Hallelujah. Well,

1664. let's lift our hands and give him

  1665. thanks.

1666. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord.

  1667. Thank you, Lord.

1668. Great is the Lord and greatly to be

1669. praised. Thank you, Father. We thank you

1670. for a demonstration of your power, your

1671. presence, your dominion. We We thank you

1672. for a great demonstration of what you

1673. can do in and to and for through the

  1674. church.

1675. We trust you for that and we thank you

1676. in Jesus name, Father. Hallelujah. Glory

1677. to God. Amen. Amen. If you just bow your

1678. heads, close your eyes just for a

  1679. moment.

1680. Just a good time. What what it's all

1681. about is God raised up a nation with the

1682. ability to take the gospel of Jesus

1683. Christ all over the world. But it just

1684. starts at home. If you're here this

1685. morning and you've never made Jesus Lord

1686. of your life, things aren't right

1687. between you and God. If they're not, you

1688. know it. I knew it when it wasn't things

1689. weren't right between God and me and it

  1690. wasn't his fault.

1691. And it all got changed when I made a

1692. decision to change it. Went to a

1693. meeting, walked an aisle, prayed a

1694. prayer. Here I am 50 years later. If

1695. you've never made Jesus Lord of your

1696. life, if things aren't in place where

1697. they should be between you and God, I

1698. want to pray for you. Would you just

1699. raise your just wave your hand at me? If

1700. you say, "Pastor, pray for me. I want to

1701. I want to get my life right with God

1702. today. I want to get things where they

1703. need to be. I want to I want to know

1704. when I leave this building this morning

1705. that if I left this earth, I know where

1706. I would go. I I want that as an

1707. assurance that I know where my life's

1708. headed. If that's you, wave your hand at

1709. me. Anybody here say, "Pastor, pray for

1710. me. I want to make Jesus Lord of my

1711. life. I want to know I'm going to

1712. heaven. I want to know where my life is
