Presence of God. 2 minutes in the

presence of God, you're going to be a

different person the rest of your life.

Hallelujah.

Thank you, dear Lord. That's a cry of

our heart. Breathe on us.

Hallelujah. Thank you, Father. May the

wind of the Spirit blow on us like it

did on the day of Pentecost. The power

of God, the fire of the Holy Ghost, the

wind [music] of the Spirit. Thank you,

dear Father. We're so hungry for all

that. You said, "Blessed is he who

hungers and thirsts after righteousness,

for he shall be filled."

Thank you, Lord. There's a hunger.

There's a hunger.

And as someone once said, if there's

somebody here that's not hungry, give

them a hunger for a hunger. Stir them up

for a hunger.

Something they've never known before.

Hallelujah, Father. Some of us remember

when all of a sudden there was a hunger

that came into our lives.

>> Hunger for the things of the Spirit.

Hunger for the presence of God. Hunger

for the supernatural. Some of us do

remember that. Even if it was a while

ago. Father, thank you. Thank you for

what that what that's done to us.

Stepping over into the presence of God.

You said in my in your presence is

fullness of joy at your right hand

pleasures evermore. So, one more time we

lift our hands and we give you thanks in

the wonderful name of Jesus.

Thank you for it, dear Father.

Hallelujah. We thank you for what you

have done. Thank you for what you are

doing, but thank you for what you're yet

to do.

The best is yet to come. You always save

the best [music] for last.

The marriage feast in Cana of Galilee.

Governor of the feast say, "Every day

they do things different here. You saved

the best for last. That's your nature,

dear [music] Lord. And we're coming into

the last." Hallelujah. We thank you now.

We thank you, you

Oh, we thank you for this city.

What you're doing in this [music] city.

We're grateful Father and every church

in this city in the whole area of this

city. But we do swing it back around

also. We thank you for what you're doing

in our heart our our our

hearts, our lives, our house. We thank

you for it dear Father.

Thank you Father for

for enabling us to be what you've called

us to be, do what you've called us to

do. [music]

We thank you for it dear Father.

Hallelujah. Thank you for helping each

one of us find our lane.

May we find each find our our wheelhouse

that we can walk [music] in that and be

a blessing to so many lives.

To the nations. Just like the Lobers.

What you're doing in

nations whether it be

uh

whether it be over in in

>> uh Turkey or whether it be in in uh

uh Greece or whether it be in in uh the

other nations over there in Italy and

>> thank you Father. You're doing some

wonderful things. Thank you for letting

us be a part of it.

We can't do it all but we can do

something.

And as someone [music] once said, "Do

something lest you do nothing." So thank

you for the privilege to do what we're

doing. And now Father, we thank you for

the service tonight.

And one more time we lift our hands and

we [music] just give you thanks.

And the heart cry just continues. Lord,

breathe on us.

Breathe on us. May the wind of the

spirit blow up on again

We command us to go.

Let's [music] just lift our voices.

Pray. Pray in the Holy Ghost.

Hallelujah. But beloved building up

yourselves on [music] your most holy

faith.

>> And the things of the Spirit will grow

clearer and clearer. And the things of

the Holy Ghost, many in this house will

come to know. Things of the Holy Ghost

will begin like a river to flow. Great

things are going to take place. There's

great outpouring of His might and His

grace. Things are headed this way, and

it's not way down the road, it's in this

current day. Great things will take

place.

The Spirit of God will flow like a river

because we've learning how to step over

and work with the giver. There's a great

hunger that's coming into this house,

and great things are in the process of

taking place. For in the days to come,

this place will see a great increase in

His grace. So, rejoice and be glad

because it's not like what you've had.

It's going to get bigger, it's going to

get better, it's going to get stronger

every day because you've learned how to

step over, [music] and

the price to pray and the price to pay.

So, rejoice [music] and be glad for

what's already

begun because in this house you're going

to be able to rise up and run.

Hallelujah. Well, let's give Him thanks.

Thank you, Lord.

Like a mighty flood, spiritual gifts by

the power of the blood. Mighty things,

mighty things are coming our way. We've

come and we're coming mightily into the

third day.

So many new folks, so many younger

generation, so many of every generation.

Places be filled far and wide. Cuz we're

going to come in here

because in your presence we're learning

to abide. [music]

Hallelujah. So Lord, we give you praise,

we give you thanks.

for what you're doing in our ranks.

And we just say one more time, Lord,

We're learning how to not only walk, but

we're learning how to run. So we thank

all we want to do, Lord, is jump in and

you can be seated.

Good to see everyone in church today.

Hallelujah.

As we've said before numerous times, you

know, we've got

friends, acquaintances, contacts, and a

lot of other nations. Got a friend

that's in

Where is he To where is he today? Babe,

he's in Malaysia.

Got one friend that's in Malaysia.

Couldn't track him down. Finally,

contacted him. Said, "Where are you?"

Said, "I'm in Malaysia."

His wife said, "Another country? He's in

Malaysia." You know, we we have friends

all over the world, but I tell you what,

uh it just doesn't get any better than

the good old USA.

You know, are we perfect? No. Oh, we're

a long ways from that. But, we're making

good progress.

And what God's done in our house in the

past 250 years,

um is nothing compared to what he's

going to do in the next however many we

got left. And uh you know, uh I

appreciate it.

I appreciate it. When when uh

I began to get things right with God in

my life and had no clue.

I still remember um getting ready to

take a trip to another continent. Had an

invitation to go and and it was

you know, basically, all the prices were

all paid. I thought, "This is great."

And uh so, I thought, "Yeah, I'm going

to go." And I thought, "Well, I you

know, I've I've got to go get some

shots."

Thank you. I've got to go get a lot of

shots. And uh and I thought, "Well,

maybe I need to pray about this."

Before I go to the health department and

start turning into a human pin cushion.

And uh so, I still I vividly remember

saying, "Lord, I don't know. I didn't

even I just said I'd go. Somebody

invited me. So, I just said, 'Well, I'll

go.'" And then I thought, "You know,

anytime you take a major step like that

where you're going to travel like 5, 6,

7,000 miles and to a place you've never

been before."

Um I said, "Lord, probably I should pray

about this. Should I go on this trip?"

And I'll never forget, I heard the Holy

Ghost. I mean, loud and clear on the

inside. He said, "Yes, this is what I've

called you to."

I never even thought about it. Never

thought about other nations.

Never thought about it. I was doing good

to get out of the state of Michigan when

I finally left and came down here to go

to Rhema when Brother Hagin started

that. But, uh you know, got down the

road and now to have the privilege to be

in to have gone to you know, so many

different locations by the leading of

the Holy Ghost. But, to always be able

to come back home and find out there's

no place there's no place like home.

Was it Dorothy that said that?

It's been a few years.

And I better get started. Hallelujah.

Um want to I want to just take a little

bit. We've we've covered a lot of

different directions. I want to take a

little bit of time today and talk about

uh

the power of God's word.

The power of his word.

Now, I don't know about you, you know,

maybe maybe you grew up around that. I

I've got a good friend that he said, "I

grew up I grew up under the church pew.

I grew up I grew up under the church

pew." And I thought, I don't I don't

remember church pews. I don't remember

anything about that.

Um you know, I remember where the

outhouse was. I remember but I you know,

it's like never didn't grow up around

that. But I've got friends that grew up

in church. They grew up they they grew

up knowing the presence of God. I've got

friends that grew up knowing the flow of

the Holy Ghost. You know, I mean if I

allow if I'd allow myself to get

jealous, I'd get jealous over it. You

know, because they did they grow up

around that. It was a

you know, for me kind of had to start

and when I started learning about the

things of the spirit, it was actually

starting around 1973,

something like that. And um had just

gotten my life right with God. And um

started learning about just finding

places to go. And you've heard me say I

went to a

uh University of Michigan. Uh that

wasn't where I went to school, but I

went to a University of Michigan to

um I think it was the basketball arena

if I remember right. Uh I just went by

myself. I was not advised I was advised

not to

um

by lots of places, but I thought I've

got to go see what this is. I thought

maybe it was a couple hundred people. I

got in and it was probably a couple

thousand people. Packed the place out.

And it was primarily a a uh um

a Catholic move. It was a a

a revival of Catholicism. It was going

it was in the the charismatic move. And

I went in there and it was probably like

I I don't know. I you know, I couldn't

have counted of course, but it seems

like it was maybe a couple thousand

people in there. And I just found a way

to park my car and I went in there and I

tell you the place was packed full of

people and it was Catholic men, Catholic

women, it was nuns, it was priests, it

was people in that what do you call the

habits, the the the outfits, people I

mean, folks everywhere. There were there

were people in the Catholic outfits

dancing in the aisles, people with their

hands raised, there was music going

everywhere and I thought and it that was

great.

But all I know is when I got into that

place, I thought I got in but I don't

want to get out because there was

something in there. I couldn't tell you

what it was, but by the time I left that

building, I knew I had just had an

encounter with the presence of God.

Well, that was 19 shoot, that was

probably 1973, something like that,

close to 74, but it changed the course

of my life.

And I've said before I was in the

in a meeting in Troy, Michigan at the

Hilton Hotel tent meeting out there

working for Brother Hagin and he

ministered on the glory of God one night

and there was a presence that came into

that tent.

I didn't want to leave the tent. I

didn't want to go back to my hotel room.

There was just something in there. And

once you once you have an encounter with

the presence of God, it'll it'll change

your life forever.

Okay? It doesn't make everything work

just absolutely perfectly.

But it'll change the course of your

life. So anyway, just to to spend a

little time on this,

I would just want to take just a few

minutes here and talk about the power of

his word.

Okay? Because I didn't know I I had a

Bible. I got one I think I think I was I

was actually water baptized in the

church we went to, I think.

They gave me a Bible with a zipper cover

around it and to this day I have no idea

where it where it ended up. But you

know,

there was just something about that. I

thought

I want to get around this. I want I want

to but I didn't know about the power of

the word of God. I mean, I'm brand new

believer, so to speak, and I'm trying to

read this book, this Bible, and I can't

read any of it. Somebody finally had

mercy on me and gave me one of those red

green hard cover Living Bibles. That

saved my life, okay? Because I could

read it and understand parts of it.

But you know, but if we go back through

it and and you know, kind of go back

just oh roughly the past 100 120 years.

We go back through and we can see that,

you know, uh

in the beginning of the this last

century when we we go back to the

beginning of it and, you know, and we

have the the outpouring

starting around 1907 had the outpouring

of the Pentecostal. Okay? God did some

things in the in the Pentecostal

movement. And you know, we got Azusa

Street, we had

all you know, the

denominations came out of that. You

know, there was the the the Foursquare,

the Assemblies of God, the Church of

God. All this came out of that one

Brother Seymour and the Brother Frank

Bartleman was another part of the city,

but in on Azusa Street in in California

there, they started out with a move and

it it shook it shook the nation and it

ended up shaking the world, but it

started out started out as what we call

the Pentecostal outpouring. And it was

really it was primarily about getting

people

uh baptized in the Holy Ghost.

I mean, that's what that was all about.

You know, other things took place, of

course. There were healings, there were

miracles, all that took place, but

everything was about getting people

filled with the Holy Ghost. And it

started started roughly 1907 and went

really strong for quite a few years

after that. And so then we go a little

further and we get into uh the next

major move of God. God moves in waves.

>> Yes, he does.

>> He moves in waves. Whatever the body

needs, he'll bring a wave in for that.

And you know, and here we we'd been

through this this wonderful Pentecostal

outpouring

as you know, of course that was that was

before I came along but

you know you can read things I've read

books about it I've read books that

things that took place before the

Pentecostal move before during the

Pentecostal outpouring

the different voices that were God using

in that and so

in in reading about that I kept reading

on and then all of a sudden

I see that about 1947 another move came

in

okay they called it the healing revival

1940 we went through this Pentecostal

outpouring and all of a sudden here

comes another wave it's the what we call

the the uh

healing revival 1947-1958

there were tents you couldn't get all

the people in it was harder to it was

harder to it was harder to stay sick

than it was to get healed people were

getting healed of everything I used to

have some some uh VHS audios they're

hidden somewhere in our house I have no

idea where but I had some and you had to

have something from the Smithsonian to

be able to play them and watch them

but in watching that I saw I saw videos

of Oral Roberts sitting on the edge of a

platform people would come walking by

he'd lay hands on them they'd get up off

stretchers they'd get out of wheelchairs

people came in folks came from

everywhere they didn't come in just on a

stretcher they came in with suits ties

they came in they came in ready to get

up and walk off of that whatever they

are on get out of the wheelchairs they

came ready for miracles and they would

get them I saw saw videos of people

rolled in just barely breathing swing

their feet around get up swing their

feet around stand up and take off

walking and before long running saw all

these things seen videos of of

A. A. Allen and and

you know and we could go on and on don't

don't want to take time for that this

morning but saw so many people that in

this healing revival but the the message

for the

Pentecostal outpouring was the baptism

of the Holy Ghost

The message for a divine healing was

just what it was. It was getting people

healed of all manner of sickness and all

manner of disease, okay? You've heard

Pastor Janet talk about her

her dad was the the

the What was it? The

song leader for a meeting in Baton Rouge

and her uncle was one of the directors

on some things down there and he told

her he said that went for 7 weeks.

Had over 5,000 people saved. Went for 7

weeks. He said in that amount of time he

said I saw every kind of miracle you can

think of. Anything was available. I saw

it. I saw every kind of miracle, every

kind of healing. We saw everything. It

took place in a 7-week period down

there. It was a healing revival and it

was hard to stay sick in there.

So then

it takes us from 1947 to 1958 and then

we get into the 50s and then things are

things are beginning to calm down a

little bit and then all of a sudden what

you got is all these people that have

been healed and set free and delivered

out of the

the the the healing revival.

And next thing you know, all of a sudden

here comes God invading the

denominational world.

That's what I was in. I was American

Baptist.

And to this day I couldn't tell you what

had to do with America or Baptist. I

don't know, but that's where we went to

church when I went.

When I couldn't get out of it.

And and so anyway, so all of a sudden

here comes this move that comes in

really comes in the early 60s and we go

from a Pentecostal outpouring to a

healing revival to I'm headed somewhere

with this, by the way. To a

we we do we get into what we called the

ended up called the charismatic move.

And

a lot of us, what that was God invading

the denominational world.

Didn't matter what denomination you were

in, God would find a way to invade your

place. You name it, whether it's

Catholic, Episcopal, Methodist, Baptist,

doesn't make any difference. God

invaded. He uh in a in a vision, if

you've read Brother Hagin's book in I

believe in visions and and Jesus

appeared to him in a vision and showed

him the outpouring of the Holy Ghost on

the on the denominational world and

showed him how he was going to invade

the denominational world with his spirit

and a lot of us got baptized in the Holy

Ghost, came into the things of God just

through that one outpouring. And it went

really from the '60s into what I would

say probably the um no, mid or

early '70s, something like that. And it

changed our lives. I mean, I was at

college, you know, that's where I got my

life right with God and before long I'm

in the Navigators, didn't know what they

were, but I was with them. Got in the

the

uh Navigators and then the I I every

every group they had on campus I was in

on that. Okay, I got in I wanted to know

what God was doing. I started going to

everything you could think of. All

right? And the guy that got me to the

meeting where I got my life right with

God was one of the Navigators and then

of course from there I went to the

Campus Crusade for Christ. I went I was

with him for a little while and I could

see things weren't going real well and I

thought I'm going to pack up and get out

of here while I'm still walking with

God. I packed up, moved back to my

hometown.

So, I never did finish college, okay?

Probably could have, would have, should

have, but I didn't and I thought God's

got something for me. I'm going to find

out what it is. So, I'm in the middle of

the charismatic move. We didn't know

that's what it was called, but uh we met

in church basements, we met in people's

living rooms, we met on fields out

behind that would let us. We

We just went everywhere there, okay? And

so, that brought us into the uh really

into the uh what I'd say the early

'70s.

So, by 1974,

uh I knew God had something for me to

do, but I didn't know what that meant.

We didn't know what a call was. We

didn't know what an anointing was. We

didn't know what anything was, but I

found out a few things and I packed a

couple suitcases, got on a plane, found

out about a man named Kenneth E. Hagin.

I didn't know who he was. I didn't know

what a Rhema was. I didn't know what

Bible school was. I just knew I had to

go do something. And when I left and

came here, I got to Tulsa in actually in

about September, roughly

September-October of 1974.

Came and got in school, and it was the

wildest looking bunch of people I'd ever

seen. I I I'm coming in with a white

shirt, a black tie, and a haircut, and I

they they thought I was a Mormon

missionary. And uh

but I came in there

anyway. Uh and and I I signed up and

came in the school, and that was the

beginning of a change the change in my

whole life. But what happened was we

went from the the the Pentecostal move

to the healing revival to the

charismatic move. And in the charismatic

move, boy, there's a bunch of us. We

didn't know anything, but there was a

lot of us.

And then all of a sudden we get in

there, and here comes a move where God

brings everything around. Brother

Hagin's really at the helm of this whole

thing. Best I could tell. There were a

lot of people involved. But all of a

sudden we came into a move that was

about the word.

Took me a while to get here.

But we had we got I can still remember

going to Bible school and Brother Hagin

he'd just stand up there, you know, just

he said, "I'm just meat and potatoes.

That's all you're going to get from me.

Nothing flashy, nothing just that's what

you're going to get from me. That's all

I've got to give you." And I thought,

"Whatever it is, I'll take it."

But we got in there and and uh he just

ministered the word. He'd come in, teach

for a week, go out and minister

somewhere else in the country, come in a

week or two later, teach for a week. We

went week after week after week after

week on on

the subject the word of God. If it's if

it's not in the word, he wouldn't even

give it to us. If you couldn't find it

in the Bible, he wouldn't bother telling

you about it. He said, "I'm not going to

give you opinions. I'm going to give you

Bible. Not going to give you what I

think. I'll give you what I know, and I

only know what the Bible says. And so

that everything was just like for the

first time everything started making

sense."

I had my still had my green living

Bible. Then I actually I got a King

James after that. That was really good.

But,

coming in there, um

I got I had the privilege of being in

what what I considered the beginning of

what we call the word of faith teaching

revival.

Any of you got in the middle of all

that, came in the beginning, middle,

end, something like that?

We've got a whole lot of folks. That was

the beginning for a lot of us. Nowhere

else to go, but I thought this is this

is what I've got to have what this is.

Whatever this man knows, I want to know

it. Whatever he'll teach, I'm going to

hang around till I get it. I'm going to

go to every every meeting he's got. I

will I will stand in line in the rain,

the snow, the sleet, I don't care where

it is. I'm going to get in the middle of

everything he's doing cuz there's

something he knows and I want to know

what it is because I see I see what it

does.

And it was all really, like I said, when

it comes down to it, everything was

about the word.

And I already told you that, right? That

the word is what we're going to talk

about for a few minutes. It's all about

the word.

Well, I said all that and then of

course, you know, we we got into it. It

was really about 1974,

roughly, and over came over into the

'80s and uh and then of course, we had a

joy movement, a few other uh what I'd

call mini revivals, my personal take on

it. But in the middle of it, the one

thing that it just seemed to work for

all of us was

whether it was charismatic move or

whatever, God brought in a move where he

just said, "I'm just going to give you

my word."

Just going to give you my word.

You know? And I didn't care. That's all

I wanted. I didn't care for anything

else. I wasn't looking for a lot of

flash. I wasn't looking for a whole lot

of uh you know,

crazy stuff. I just wanted I just wanted

something that would work out every day.

I wanted something you'd get your body

healed. I wanted something you'd get

your needs met. I wanted something you

get your family changed. I just wanted

something that would work on a regular

basis. I just want something something

and you know, from the going to the God

said I hasten

my word

to perform it.

I've got it. If you'll believe it, I'll

do it. 55th chapter of Isaiah, he said,

"So shall my word be that goes forth out

of my mouth. It shall not return unto me

void, but it shall accomplish that which

I please and it'll prosper in the things

whereunto I send it." Isaiah 55, "If I

said it, I'll do it. If I spoke it, I'll

make it good. You can take that to the

bank."

I remember somebody said to me years ago

about a friend of mine said, "If he

gives you a word from heaven, like it or

not, probably you'll be able to take it

to the bank." And it really did prove

out over a period of years, but I

thought that's the way it is with God.

If he said it, you can take it to the

bank.

If he spoke it, he'll make it good. He

hastens his word to perform it. He's

it's not going to return to him void.

He's not going to make a decision

whether this works or not. If he didn't

want to do it, he wouldn't have said it.

If he couldn't make it happen, he

wouldn't have spoken it. This This is

This is not just God trying to do

something good. This is God's word.

And so we came into what I called the

word of faith teaching revival. It's had

a lot of different good names. Got a few

bad names along the way, but in the

middle of all that

and I said all that to say I've got a

a

stirring

whatever we want to call it. We're

coming into another move of the spirit

of God.

But I've been watching

and you know, it's it's

watch and pray.

I've been watching, I've been listening,

I've been learning, I've been trying to

watch things and I noticed what we

learned I I I remember some of the

things the Holy Ghost finally got across

to me. We

We had a there I was on the I was on the

beginning of a I thought God had called

me to be a deliverance minister.

And I was going to have deliverance

meetings. And I was going

Do you remember any of those? No, you

don't remember those. Do you remember

some?

And I thought that was my call. I went

to a meeting in Florida to a guy's

house. I won't say and you who it was,

but he's one of the big main four that

did all that. Find out where he lived,

went to his house, to a Bible study.

They kicked me out. But anyway,

but we had we had extreme discipleship,

extreme submission, extreme deliverance,

you name it extreme and we had it.

And we did it. And we messed it up.

I just wanted something that worked. I

just wanted something that would work on

a regular basis. I just want God, I just

want I want to know what you do. I don't

want to know what people do. I want to

know what you do.

And so we we hung around a lot. And I'm

still learning. This is 50 years down

the road. But you know, looking back at

that,

um

we're back at a place right now. I'm I'm

there's certain things that I heard

back there 50 years 50 years ago. It's a

long time.

There's certain things I heard in

meetings and I still remember when when

God supernaturally opened the door for

me to learn some things that I didn't

know before. I I learned some truths. I

learned some things that changed the

course of my life. I'm so grateful for

that. But we're 50 years down the road

and I I don't really like to say it, but

I'm noticing a lot of the things we

learned are not out there today.

I'm hearing things I'm hearing things

floating around in the

body of Christ that that's that's just

not the way God taught us that 50 years

ago. There were things he took extra

time to make sure we got extra truth and

we should have we you know,

we shouldn't let the well dry up from

next to us. And and I said all that to

say I have a sense.

If I'm wrong, you you you come see me

later on. That's all right. I've been

wrong before, probably be wrong again.

But I have a sense that there's another

wave coming.

There's another wave coming. It's it's

like it's you know, we've had the

charismatic, we've had the word of faith

that we we've had the teaching, we've

we've had all these, but I I have a

sense there's another wave coming.

Something out there that's heading our

direct This is the one thing I believe

it will turn into the outpouring of the

rain of God on the on the body of

Christ. I believe we'll we'll be able to

tap into this to see a harvest of souls

coming in. There's something coming our

way that's going to be a

a restoration of what we call

the

the word the word. Let's put it real

plainly.

Some of us learned some things and we're

grateful for it, but I there's some

things that I still want. There's some

things I'm still looking for. There's

some truths in the word of God that I

got to a degree, but I'm not satisfied

yet. There's some things and there's a

there's a wave

if you were in that move. If you got in

1940 1974 to 1984, whatever, if you got

in the middle of that move, you know

what it's like to be able to go to a

meeting and hey take a notebook, a

Bible, a pen, and a pencil and sit there

for 2 hours just waiting to get in and

then sit there for 2 more hours while

they teach you and know when you left

there you have been you're taking

something home is going to change the

course of your life. It'll change your

home, it'll change your family, it'll

change your health, it'll change your

finances. Something that and you don't

have to wonder is this right? Is this

true? Is you know, does anybody else

agree? I don't care if anybody agrees

with it or not. If it's from Genesis to

Revelation, I'm taking it.

And it better be in the new the new

books and

so anyway

there's something coming.

I'm convinced. Now again, if I'm wrong,

I'll I'll be the first one to admit

that, but I'll be very surprised if I

am. There's something coming and even

though it may come in different facets

and different directions, I believe one

thing we have to have is the truth of

the Bible.

I heard some things while back and I

thought I can't believe I can't believe

I'm hearing what I'm hearing. Okay, not

in a critical way, but I'm thinking we

were we had the privilege of learning

some of these things 50 years ago. Why

did we let it go?

Why did we the church world? I know, but

if you can let it go, you can pick it

back up.

If we let it go, we let it go, and if we

let it go, we can pick it back up

because we know the author.

The author and finisher of our faith.

And so, uh, just to go back through,

we have all these different wonderful

moves of the spirit of God

that we've had, you know, really just

the past 120 years. That's That's not

much compared to what? 6,000 years since

Jesus or since, uh,

uh, the creation.

And if you go back through, um,

God's told us through the word, he's

told us he has told us what his word

will do.

All right, I'll go through a few of

these and we'll we'll finish this up cuz

we we haven't got all that much time.

But if you go back through there, um, in

the

Joshua chapter 1 verse 8,

Joshua 1:8

this

You're a step ahead of me. That's good.

That is not a complaint.

This book of the law

There it's on the screen. This book of

the law

This book of the law, God way back there

in Joshua, God said, "This book of the

law shall not

depart out of your mouth." I kept

wondering why God didn't didn't want it

coming out of our mouth. No, he said,

"With this book of the law shall not

depart out of your mouth." What he's

saying, "It'll not stop coming out of

your mouth."

This book of the law shall not stop

coming out out of your mouth, but thou

shalt

meditate on it.

He's talking to us about what'll change

our lives.

I still remember when I saw that word

meditate, I had I thought, "I got to

find out what this means." This book of

the law shall not depart out of your

mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein

day and night that thou mayest observe

to do according to all that's written

therein, for then

then God will do good things. No, then

thou shalt make I'll give you King

James. Then thou shalt make thy way

prosperous, then thou shalt have

good success. One translation says,

"Then you'll deal wisely in all the

affairs of life."

I read that and I thought, "God already

He gave me a a promise here. If I'll do

what he said to do, he will make sure

that I can lean over into this and deal

wisely in all the affairs of life."

Now, have I done that? Probably not.

But, have I taken day and night into

meditate on the word? Probably not. But,

I've noticed when I do my part, God will

always do his.

But, thou shall meditate therein.

Meditate. Meditate. What does he mean

meditate? Sleep? No, meditate means to

talk,

to mutter,

to talk out loud to yourself.

You know, in most of the world system,

if you talk out loud to yourself, they

want to lock you up.

You're one of those people. But, I found

out that's how you get the word working

for you. But, thou shall meditate to

thou shall meditate, thou shall meditate

therein. Therein. In there. What? Thou

shall meditate. That means you'll talk

to yourself.

One translation says to roar. I try not

to do too much of that in public, but

you'll meditate therein day and night

that you may observe to do. Uh if I'm

not doing it, maybe it's because I

haven't been meditating.

If I'm not doing what I know to do, if

I'm not doing what God said to do, maybe

I have not been meditating on the word

day and night that I may observe to do

according to all that's written there. I

know what's written in there, but if I'm

not doing it, maybe it's because I'm not

plugged into that yet.

And if I will take time day and night,

day and night. Sometimes you'll find

yourself waking up at night and you'll

find a scripture rolling around.

Sometimes you just get it during the

day. Sometimes you're driving to work.

Sometimes you're going to school. But,

you'll get verses that'll just I can

still remember when I got hold of uh

Philippians 4:19.

Didn't have any money.

I was in real estate at the time, not

making any money there, but I can still

remember I said, "God, I've got to have

some money. I got to be able to pay some

bills."

And I still remember I just opened my

Bible up.

I didn't open it for anything

particular. I just opened it.

One of those charismatic-y things, you

know. I opened it up and it opened. It

didn't open to Leviticus. I didn't go to

the animal sacrifices. I opened it and

it went to to uh to Philippians chapter

Philippians 4:19

4 verse 19. Says, um

uh

God writing back there. And he says over

there that talked about um the word of

God.

He said back there, "The word of God.

The The word of God. The word of God. He

watches over his word to perform it."

And I read that and I thought, "He said

he'll do it."

He wrote it in there and I thought, "I

just found over there

that he said that he would do his word.

If I'll take it and believe it, he'll do

it." That got on the inside of me.

He said, "My God shall supply

all

your need

according to his riches and glory by

Christ Jesus." He's not going to do it

according to what I got. He's going to

do it according to what he's got.

I didn't have anything. I didn't have

anything to offer.

But he did.

Throne room's got a lot of the the

throne room's good. Gold streets, got

safes, they got, you know, everything.

But I read you know, I read that and it

that got on the inside of me.

And it just that that wasn't that was 19

actually 1970

2 3 and it never went away.

It still just rolls. My God will supply

all your need according to his riches

and glory by Christ Jesus. That got on

the inside of me.

It just got in there and once it got on

the inside, it just doesn't go away.

And so anyway, looking at all that, it's

it's

I'm looking at this going

um

we need another outpouring and a fresh

outpouring of the spirit of God. Those

things God taught us

50 45 50 years ago, they're great.

They're great, but if we don't watch it,

we let it run out like a leaking vessel.

If we don't watch it, it's it gets in

here and then it runs out and we got to

kind of start all over again. I've got a

stirring that some of the things we

learned back there, we're going to

relearn again.

Some of the things

they may they may not be as fresh as

they were back there, but we can get a

fresh start on this thing.

There's freshness in the word of God.

There's some things God if we'll get in

there he'll re-teach us.

He didn't forget how to do it and we

didn't forget how to learn.

But if you go back through there, he

said, "Okay, Galatia." And I'll find a

place here to close this. If you go back

to

Joshua chapter 1 verse 8 where he says,

"This book of the law

This book of the law shall not depart

because then then you will make your way

prosperous, then you will will deal

don't know about you. When I saw that

there's a way I can live where I can

deal wisely in all the affairs of life,

I want to do that.

It's not that I have all the brains and

all the right answers, but I got I got

somebody in me that does if I'll just do

what he said to do.

Well, how about if you just go to

chapter

Psalm 1 verse 1?

Psalms 1:1

Blessed.

Anything starts out with blessed, I'm

going to read that.

Blessed. Blessed.

To be envied, prosperous.

Blessed is the man or woman

that walks not after the counsel of the

ungodly, stands in the way of sinners,

sits in the seat of the scornful. Well,

I'd be I'd been in all those places.

Blessed is the man that walks not after

the counsel of the ungodly, stands in

the way of sinners, sits in the seat of

the scornful, but

his delight is in

the law of the Lord or we'd say in the

word of God.

It's It's not a big trick. He just said

if you'll just quit hanging around

people that are bad and ugly and hang

around what's good,

stick with the word.

Isn't that what he said? But his delight

is in the

law of the Lord and in his law doth he

There's that word again. Meditate day

and night. See Josh Joshua 1:8, meditate

Joshua 1:8

day and night. Psalm 1, meditate day and

night.

Paul wrote to the Proverbs to to

actually over there to Timothy. He said,

"Take these things, meditate on them,

give yourself wholly to them, that your

profiting may appear to all." How'd you

like to get to where everybody could

look at you and go, "That guy is

blessed."

Everything he does works. Everything he

does prospers. Every his businesses

work. Everything he Something He may be

not be the the sharpest knife in the

drawer, but everything he does it's

working for him. Why? Why? It's not cuz

we're the smartest, it's because we know

who he is.

I know this is really kind of 101,

but I've got a stirring that the body of

Christ we need to we need we need a

great revival of the word of God. If

we'll get to where we'll find what God

says, believe it and do it, he'll watch

over it to perform it. All he needs us

to do is read the word and believe it.

He said, "It's my word and I'll do it."

He didn't lie.

Okay?

And so, oh goodness, we could go on and

on, but anyway, um and I'll finish with

this. If you just go back through to uh

uh

goodness, Proverbs 4:20.

Proverbs 4:20

Proverbs 4:20. Now, we could spend all

Proverbs 4:20

all morning, we could get into halfway

through the afternoon on that. We won't.

But if you go to Proverbs chapter 4

Proverbs 4:20

verse 20, the author Proverbs is it's a

it's a book written by smart people.

Proverbs says um

he's writing in there and he says uh "My

son,

it's a father trying to help his son not

to live with the spirit of stupid on

him. It's a father going, "I'm going to

help you with this thing." He says there

in Proverbs chapter 4 verse 20,

Proverbs 4:20

"My son,

attend to my words.

Put my word first place in your life.

Make sure it's the most important thing

in your life. Make sure it's the most

important possession you got, whether

it's on your watch, your phone, your

computer, wherever it is. Make sure it's

the most important thing you got. But my

son, attend to my words.

Isn't that what Paul did?

He gets up 14 days in a storm. They're

going to throw the prisoners overboard

next. He gets up and he says, "Be of

good cheer."

You just love these guys, right?

For I believe God that it shall be

Well, I got a great idea. I think we can

make this No, he said I He said No, he

said uh

Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer, for I

believe God. For 27th chapter of the

book of Acts, okay?

Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer, for I

believe God that it shall be even as it

was told me. For an angel of God, whose

I am and whom I serve, stood by me this

night and said the boat will go under,

but everybody be saved.

All you got to do is just ride along

with me. We'll go on shore and we'll be

just fine. Nobody will die. Nobody will

drown. Everybody's going to be all

right. Why? Because God told me that.

Well, who are you?

You're a prisoner.

Who told you this thing's going to go

under and everybody's going to be fine?

An angel of God came and told him that.

Okay? What do you do? He decided

whatever said, I'm going to believe it.

Whatever spoken, I'm going to consider

it true.

What if we did that with our lives? What

if we read our Bibles and find something

really good in there said just I just

made a decision, this is truth for me.

My God supplies all my need.

No weapon formed against me can prosper.

I've just made a decision, if it's in

that book, I'm believing it. If God said

it, I'm taking it. I may not know how to

do it. I may not understand it, but I'm

smart enough to go God's smarter than me

and I'm taking that. I am going to take

that and I'm going to I'm going to run

with that.

And we could go on.

He goes, you know, uh

it's my son, attend to my word, incline

thine ear unto my saying.

Goodness gracious, a whole people, a

whole group of people, a multitude of

people

Luke the 6th chapter, verse 17,

multitude of people out of Jerusalem,

Judaea, seacoast of Tyre and Sidon,

which came to find Jesus to

hear him

and to be healed of their diseases. And

they were And they heard and they were

healed everyone. Why did it work?

Because they took time to hear.

Most of our

shortcomings and failures and faults

come because we haven't taken time. We

can read.

We can jump, shout, and run, have

wonderful times. We can go to We can go

to Holy Ghost meetings. Those are great,

but what are we doing with what we hear?

What What are we doing? My son, attend

to my words, incline thine

ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart

from thine eyes. Peter messed up there.

He's walking on the water in the middle

of a storm, but he took his eyes off

the word

and started to sink. Thank God Jesus

grabbed him, took him back.

But you think about that. What happened

Why did everything change? He took his

eyes off the word.

Incline your ear to my sayings. Let them

not depart from thine eyes. Keep them in

the midst of thine heart, for they, my

words, are life unto those that find

them, health, healing, and medicine to

all their flesh.

I got I have a healing here.

I've got a result. I have got somebody

to meet my needs, pay my bills. I got

somebody who can fix everything I can

break. I've got somebody and all I got

to do is get into the Bible and see what

God has to say about it. Take it,

believe it, act on it, and watch him

bring it to pass.

Hallelujah. Let's stand to our feet.

I think we ought to just lift our hands

and just make a commit commitment God,

I'm going to talk to myself.

God, I'm going to be one of those

people.

They may think I'm crazy. I'll give them

a good reason. I'm going to talk to

myself.

I'm going to meditate, mutter. I'm going

to I am going to I'm going to talk to

myself. I'm going to I am going to build

my inward man up. I'm going to build

what's on the inside of me. I'm going to

I'm going to get filled with what God

said in his word. He said he'd meet all

my needs. I'm just I'm going to get so

full of that, I can't believe anything

else.

He said, "By whose stripes I was

healed." I'm going to get so full of

that that there can't be anything in my

body other than healing and health

working in me.

I just know what I know. I know a little

bit about what I can do, but the

difference is I know what God can do.

Hallelujah. Father, in the name of

Jesus, we make a decision. We're going

to take hold of what you said. It's your

word. It's your word. It's It's the word

of almighty God, creator of the

universe. It's not that we know so much,

it's just the one

The fact we do know who knows so much.

So, I thank you for that, dear Father.

It all comes back to the seed.

Everything comes back to the seed.

Incorruptible seed lives and abides

forever. If I If I just step over and

get my feet planted in there Get in that

lane and walk in that lane. If I'll do

that, you will hasten and watch over

your word to perform it. So, we take

that, dear Lord.

We take that. We know We don't have all

the answers, but we have the one that

does have all the answers. And so, I

thank you for it, dear Father. May we

bring this around to where it's a

not something we do, but it's a part of

our lives.

And we thank you for it in Jesus name.

Hallelujah. Glory to God. Now, if you

just bow your heads, close your eyes

just for a moment.

As I've said before, I remember the time

when my life wasn't

right with God. My choice.

My I was raised in church,

but I wasn't right with God. But, I

remember I remember getting in the

middle of some meetings where I could

get right with God. And I remember I

remember going to a meeting and coming

back to my dorm realizing, "I don't know

what happened, but I just got my life

right with God. Whatever that means." I

don't know Didn't know what it meant.

Backslid a couple times in the next week

or two, but I got my life right with

God.

And if you're here today and you just

say, "Pastor, I don't I don't have

Things aren't right between God and me."

I I know about him. I've heard of him.

I've read about him, but

we don't we don't have a good working

relationship, and I want to get the

things of God working in my life. I want

I want to know that he and I have a good

connection, and it's it's up to me now.

He's never turned me down for anything.

If that's you, I want just If that's

you, just raise your hand say, "Pastor,

pray for me. I'm ready to get my life

right with God."

He's not holding any good thing back

from me. He freely gives all things. If

that's you, wave your hand at me. I want

to pray for you. Anyone in here?

Oh, Father, in the name of Jesus, I

thank you so much. I thank you for the

power of your word. Almighty God is

hastening and watch over in his word to

perform it. It will do it. You'll make

it good.
