We just want to thank you, Lord.
-
You are so good.
-
>> You've been so good. You're always so
-
good. You're good. You're faithful.
-
We can put all our trust in you. You
-
never change. You never let us down.
-
Lord, we give you praise and thanks. We
-
we lift our hearts,
-
>> our hands,
-
>> our voices to you. Even right now, Lord,
-
we just take a moment extra just to just
-
to give you thanks for the Lord. He's
-
good and his mercy endures forever.
-
Thank you, dear Father. You're so good
-
to us. Always so good to us.
-
We're in your family, born again,
-
bloodbought, redeemed, new creatures
-
[music] in Christ, made the
-
righteousness of God in him. Father,
-
we're just so grateful and thankful. All
-
eternity, [music] we're going to have uh
-
opportunities to give you thanks.
-
And so, we thank you for the service
-
this morning, dear Father. What a
-
privilege to just spend time thanking
-
you.
-
>> You're [music] so worthy. You are so
-
worthy. Worthy. Worthy. Worthy. Worthy.
-
Worthy. Worthy. Worthy. Worthy is the
-
lamb that was slain. Worthy is the lion
-
of the tribe of Judah. Worthy is our
-
redeemer. Worthy is our savior.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Glory to God.
-
We'll always be grateful. We don't take
-
it lightly.
-
And we're thankful for it in Jesus name.
-
Hallelujah.
-
And father, we do thank you for the
-
remainder of this service this morning.
-
Do what you want to do. Go where you
-
want to go. Take it where you want it to
-
to to go. We [music] we thank you for
-
it, dear Father, as the Apostle Paul
-
said to the Ephesians, "And for me that
-
utterance may be given unto me, that I
-
may open my mouth boldly to make known
-
the mystery of the gospel." Father, we
-
thank you. [music] We thank you for
-
that. We thank you for utterance in the
-
Holy Ghost. We thank you for words to
-
speak, things that'll make a difference
-
in our lives, but work through our lives
-
to make a difference in others. We're
-
grateful for it. We're thankful in the
-
wonderful name of Jesus. Hallelujah.
-
Glory to God. Praise God. Amen. One more
-
time, let's just lift our hands and give
-
him thanks.
-
[music] He's worthy, worthy, worthy,
-
worthy. Glory to God. Glory, glory,
-
glory, glory, glory. [music]
-
Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah. Praise God. Thank you,
-
[music] Lord Jesus. Glory to God. Amen.
-
Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Good. Amen.
-
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise [music]
-
God. Well, go ahead and be seated.
-
Appreciate all of our young folks,
-
all of we young folks.
-
Hallelujah. Praise God. Good to see
-
everyone this morning. Hallelujah. Glory
-
to God. Praise God. Hallelujah.
-
Doesn't seem like we're quite finished
-
there. I'm just
-
fishing here, seeing what else we we
-
might need to do. Glory to God.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Praise God.
-
Praise God. Uh
-
just seeing if it's now or later. Glory
-
to God. Hallelujah. Well, I think we
-
ought to lift our hands one more time.
-
>> Just just just give him thanks. Just
-
give him thanks. Let's just give him
-
thanks. Let's just give our our praise
-
and our thanksgiving unto him. Father,
-
we don't take this lightly. This is not
-
an afterthought.
-
This is what we're all about.
-
We thank you for it. Hallelujah.
-
Glory to God. Glory to God. Glory to
-
God. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God.
-
Praise God. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Glory
-
to God. And then we need to do one more
-
thing before we move on. Um there is
-
someone in here
-
uh
-
that you you've got actually you've had
-
uh you've had pains through joints kind
-
of all over your body. It's not just in
-
your shoulder. It's not just in your hip
-
or something. You've had pains that have
-
been just kind of going through all
-
through your body. And in fact, the
-
pains are there right now. You're having
-
issues with some kind I don't know
-
what's caused it. I don't know if it's a
-
I don't know if it's a sickness, a
-
disease, an arthritis, if you've done
-
so. I I if you've had an accident, I
-
don't have a clue. I just know it's
-
somebody um I I think it's a I think
-
it's a man that's had uh you've had
-
problems with uh uh pains in the joints.
-
Actually, pain's just kind of going all
-
over your body. That's the only way I
-
can describe it. It's not like, well,
-
it's right here. It's right there. It's
-
just kind of all over. Who is that? Wave
-
your hand at me.
-
Is that you? Does that describe it? All
-
over. All over. Did you do something to
-
it? Is it just a
-
This is an old injury, but in recent
-
years, it's been getting worse and
-
worse.
-
Seems like. So, is there There's pain
-
there right now. kind of all over. We
-
just step right out into the aisle here.
-
Hallelujah. Glory to God. Well, we ought
-
to all lift our hands and thank God.
-
He's more than enough.
-
Glory to God. Hallelujah. Take about
-
four steps up this direction.
-
Okay. Now, just stop right there. Power
-
God's going to come on you. Lift your
-
hands up.
-
There's his presence right there. Thank
-
you, Father. I thank you, Lord. It's the
-
anointing that destroys the yoke. I
-
thank you for my brother. I thank you
-
for the power of God coming on him. It's
-
not going to come on and then go away.
-
Power of God's going to come on him and
-
cure all this. Whatever that was,
-
whatever that is that's been going
-
through his body, I thank you for
-
repairing that.
-
You're the one that repairs all these
-
things. And we do give you praise and
-
thanks for it in the name of Jesus.
-
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Glory to God.
-
Now, power of God's coming on you right
-
now. I don't know if you can tell that
-
or not, but I can. Hallelujah. Somebody
-
says, "Why didn't you have him come to
-
the front?" Didn't need to. He got about
-
that far and some power of God started
-
coming on him.
-
>> Hallelujah.
-
Now, tell me what's going on there.
-
>> No pain.
-
>> I'm sorry. Say that again.
-
>> Yeah. No pain. No pain in the shoulders.
-
No pain in the back. No pain in the
-
hips. No pain. No, no pain anywhere. And
-
it's been that way quite a while.
-
It's
-
>> from an old injury.
-
>> There's another wave of the power of God
-
coming on you right now. Just lift your
-
hands up. Take take another dose of
-
that. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Just
-
Just enjoy that. Just enjoy that.
-
Hallelujah. Glory to God. We ought to
-
praise God with him. Thank you, Father.
-
Hallelujah.
-
>> No more. No more. No more. No more. No
-
more. No more. Hallelujah. Glory to God.
-
Glory to God. Jesus took authority over
-
his spirit with one particular
-
individual in the gospels. He said, "Go
-
and and go and come back no more." That
-
just kind of rose up on the inside. Go.
-
And that stuff comes back no more.
-
>> Come back no more. Don't care what it
-
was. Don't care how bad it was. Doesn't
-
matter.
-
>> You got that.
-
>> Hallelujah. We're with you on this.
-
>> Hallelujah.
-
>> Oh yeah. Thank you, Lord. Thank you,
-
Lord. Thank you, Lord. Glory to God.
-
Praise God. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen.
-
Amen. Amen. Before we go any further,
-
somebody else uh I can't even tell you
-
what that's called now, but there's a
-
there's a something in your back, and
-
it's a common issue. It goes uh down
-
from your back down one leg. actually
-
goes right down almost into what I'd say
-
almost down into your ankle. Um, what is
-
that?
-
>> Sciatic. Thank you. Most a few people
-
have dealt with that. Thank you. The
-
sciatic. There's something about the
-
sciatic nerve. You've done something
-
about that. And it's it's been going
-
down. I I uh Well, it's went down one
-
leg or the other, but it seems to be
-
going down your right leg. And it goes
-
down not only to your knee, but it goes
-
down actually it's headed down almost
-
into your ankle at times. the sciatic
-
nerve. So, I'm guessing you've had that
-
looked at, adjusted, I don't know
-
whatever that is, but if that's you,
-
just just stand to your feet. You having
-
trouble with the sciatic nerve.
-
Hallelujah. All right. All right. Glory
-
to God. You got anybody else? Going
-
once, going twice. Hallelujah. I know
-
there's somebody else out here say,
-
"Well, I got my faith." Okay.
-
>> Well, somebody's on board with this.
-
Good.
-
Hallelujah. All right. It just seems
-
there's a couple more.
-
Okay. Just seems like we need to we need
-
to we need to go across the room here.
-
There's a couple more in here that have
-
been having trouble with that.
-
Hallelujah. Oh, okay. The with the
-
sciatic nerve. I don't know anything
-
about it. I just understand it's painful
-
and it can be painful clear down the leg
-
down into actually down into the ankle
-
at times. Hallelujah. Glory to God. All
-
right. Those of you that have been
-
having trouble with that, just hold just
-
raise your hands up now. There it is.
-
There's just a good healing presence in
-
here. Hallelujah. Thank you for it, dear
-
Father, in the wonderful name of Jesus.
-
Somebody just pulled somebody to their
-
feet. Is that you?
-
Are you shy about standing up?
-
Have you had trouble with that? Is there
-
trouble right now?
-
>> Where's the pain right now? Right there.
-
Where's the pain right now? Okay, check
-
again. Where's the pain right now?
-
Is it still Pain's still there?
-
I'm I'm I'm not asking you to make it
-
up. I'm just I'm asking a question.
-
Pain's still there on that right side?
-
Yeah, pain's still there.
-
I'm looking into a light. Just ignore
-
ignore me up here. Is the pain still
-
there on that right side?
-
>> All right, let's all just lift our hands
-
up and thank God with her.
-
>> In fact, there's one, two, three, four
-
with their hands up. Let's believe God
-
with them. Hallelujah. Five in Jesus
-
name. Father, we thank you for the name
-
in the name. In the name. And we we so
-
often put up with more than we need to
-
put up with because we've got a name. In
-
the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we
-
as a family, we take authority over
-
that. would command that sciatic nerve
-
to be back in place, the nerves to be
-
normal, the joints, the muscles, the
-
nerves, the fibers, the cells,
-
everything to be perfectly normal in the
-
name of There it is right there. There
-
it is. Like a wave coming through the
-
room. That's it right there. In the name
-
of Jesus. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Glory
-
to God. Glory to God. Well, let's all
-
lift our hands and thank God with them
-
for the power of God sweeping through
-
and healing their body from the top of
-
their heads to the soles of their feet
-
in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
-
Hallelujah. Glory to God. Glory to God.
-
Well, we you know, sometimes you can get
-
a little energetic. Well, just give him
-
a shout of thanks.
-
>> Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah. Glory to God. I'm gonna just
-
come back here just for a minute. That's
-
all right, isn't it?
-
>> Hallelujah. How you doing back here?
-
>> Pardon? Say that again. Uh,
-
>> the numbness.
-
>> The numbness started going away.
-
>> It was weird. It ought to be weird.
-
Yeah. Is the numbness still there?
-
>> No.
-
>> Is the pain still there?
-
>> No. Not really.
-
>> Not really.
-
>> No. No. Or not really?
-
>> Not really.
-
>> Not really. I'm just picking on you.
-
That's all right. That's all right.
-
Check it again. Just tell me what's
-
going on. Is the pain
-
>> It's not numb anymore.
-
>> It's not numb anymore and the pain's
-
gone.
-
>> Yeah.
-
>> So the sciatic nerve So everything's
-
good right now
-
>> and it's going to stay that way.
-
>> Has it been that way very long?
-
>> Yeah, I've heard it a while back.
-
>> You heard it a while back. So it's been
-
there for a while,
-
>> but the pain's gone
-
>> and the numbness is gone. And you're
-
you're healthy all the way from your
-
back down to your down to your ankle on
-
that right side. Yeah.
-
>> Is that right?
-
>> Lift your hands. Thank God for it.
-
Hallelujah. Father, we thank you. We're
-
with you. Glory to God. Well, we we
-
ought to thank God with her. Hallelujah.
-
Glory to God. Glory. Glory. Glory.
-
Glory. Appreciate you, brother.
-
Hallelujah. Glory to God. Hallelujah.
-
[music] Hallelujah. Glory to God. I
-
appreciate the family here. Everybody's
-
on board.
-
>> That's okay. We got all day. We got till
-
the rapture. Father in the name of
-
Jesus, we thank you so much
-
>> for what you have done, what you are
-
doing, but oh Father, for that which is
-
yet to come,
-
>> that which is yet to come.
-
>> Hallelujah. You always, you always, you
-
always. Hallelujah.
-
When uh Jesus did worked his first
-
miracle at the marriage feast in Canaan
-
of Galilee and the the governor of the
-
feast said most people serve the bad
-
stuff uh good stuff first, then the bad
-
stuff at the end. you do things
-
different. You saved the best for last.
-
That's the nature of Jesus. He just
-
keeps saving the best for last because
-
it keeps getting better. So, we thank
-
you for it. We trust you for utterance
-
in the name of Jesus. We thank you for
-
those that have been healed in their
-
body. And thank you for the other
-
healings that are taking place through
-
the room. Thank you that there going to
-
be people that are going to get home
-
this afternoon and realize the pain that
-
wasn't before isn't. Hallelujah. It's
-
going, going, going.
-
>> Hallelujah. There's a few more. Just few
-
more. Few more. Few more just across the
-
room. A few more just got a healing in
-
their body. Hallelujah. And I don't know
-
who that is watching over the internet.
-
Whoever you are, reach out and take
-
yours right now. If you want to put your
-
hand on the computer screen, if you just
-
want to raise your hand up, whoever you
-
are, take that healing right now.
-
There's no distance or time in the
-
spirit. If Paul could lay hands on a
-
piece of cloth, Acts the 19th chapter,
-
they could take that cloth to the sick
-
and lay it upon them. the sickness would
-
depart and the evil spirits would go out
-
of. If they if God could do that in Acts
-
the 19th chapter, he can do it in Acts
-
the 29th chapter.
-
>> In case you haven't got it, that's where
-
we are. This is we're we're living in
-
the 29th chapter. Praise God.
-
Hallelujah. Glory to God. All right.
-
Good. Thank you. Appreciate our our
-
worship team here. Glory to God.
-
Hallelujah.
-
All right. Glory to God. Well, we'll go
-
a little further and we'll just end up
-
with You never get done. You just find a
-
place to unhook and pick up a week or
-
two later. So,
-
uh, let's open our Bibles,
-
Bible, iPad, watch, notebook,
-
what, whatever you're reading from. But
-
I suggest you have something to read
-
from.
-
I'll say that again. I strongly suggest,
-
I don't know about you, I find out when
-
I when I got my life right with God.
-
November 1972, I had a Bible. I just
-
didn't know you're supposed to read it.
-
Is a Bible I got I think I got in church
-
when I was a kid. And I don't think I it
-
had a zipper on it. I don't think I ever
-
unzipped that thing. I don't even know
-
where the thing went. No idea. But I
-
tell you when I found out uh and I
-
started reading reading the the Bible,
-
it was a King James and uh man, I could
-
barely read English, you I mean, and uh
-
finally somebody gave me a a a green
-
hard coverver living Bible. And uh
-
that's all I needed to get started with.
-
And I found out you could God said what
-
he meant, meant what he said. He said
-
it, he'll do it. He spoke it. He'll make
-
it good. If we if we'll just believe it
-
and do it, God will he'll honor that.
-
He's just looking for somebody that'll
-
connect with him. And I finally said,
-
"God, I'm your candidate. I'm the guy
-
for this. I don't know if anybody else
-
knows what I found, but I was so glad to
-
find out he'll meet my needs, pay my
-
bills, heal my body, fix my head, fix my
-
he'll just, you know, whatever's going
-
on. I was so glad to find that out. And
-
I've been with them ever since. And I am
-
I'm a word guy. Okay. Somebody said to
-
me one time, "I don't need all that Holy
-
Ghost stuff. I'm a word person." I said,
-
"I don't know about you. I'll take
-
both."
-
>> Jesus was the word.
-
>> Okay? In the beginning was the word. The
-
word was with God. The word was God the
-
same as in the beginning with Jesus was
-
the word. But Jesus the word didn't do
-
any miracles until he's about 30 years
-
old. Baptized in the Jordan, came up out
-
of the water praying. The heavens
-
opened. The spirit of God descended in
-
bodily form like a dove upon him. And he
-
went out and started working miracles.
-
The word didn't work miracles until the
-
Holy Ghost and the word came together.
-
>> I think that's just good advice for all
-
of us. Let's be holy ghost and word
-
people. I've got to get going here or
-
we'll just be in this for till
-
Christmas. So anyway, [clears throat] um
-
we we'll look at Mark the 5th chapter.
-
We we I think we were here maybe a few
-
weeks ago and we'll come we'll swing
-
back around here. Mark chapter 5, but uh
Mark 5 chapter mention
-
to go back through we we just had a good
-
a good time of of worship, praise and
-
worship here this morning. I like that.
-
You know, a lot of times you go by a
-
church and they'll say, you know, Sunday
-
morning worship service, such and such a
-
time. But I've been to some of those
-
churches and there's no worship time. I
-
kind of like it. If they're going to say
-
it, let's do it. But anyway, anyway, I'm
-
going to take a little side trip here
-
for a few minutes. If we go back through
-
there, we just took time to worship. And
-
that's that's really what we do. We
-
worship God. We take time to get into
-
his presence. We thank him for what he's
-
done. We thank him for what he's doing.
-
We're grateful to him. Think about that.
-
creator of the universe. He's not only
-
with us, he's around us. He's in the
-
place, but he's
-
in us. Greater is he that's in you than
-
he that's in the world. So, so anyway,
-
going back through there, you know, we
-
we just take time to worship God. We we
-
could just do that from now through
-
eternity and we wouldn't have enough
-
time to give him what he's worthy and
-
what he's due. But anyway,
-
going back through there, um we uh
-
we we take time to praise and worship
-
God. Good good illustration of that this
-
morning. Didn't know we were going to go
-
there. Glad we did. But um you know but
-
the same but on the other side of this
-
thing most of us as humans we not only
-
take time to praise him worship him
-
thank him give him all the glory he's
-
worthy and honor and so on but most of
-
the time we need God to do something.
-
Okay we we either need or want him to do
-
something. Most of the time it's both.
-
Sometimes we need him to help us with
-
our needs. Sometimes we need to help him
-
heal with healing in our bodies
-
sometimes. But usually by being humans
-
on planet Earth until we step over to
-
the other side, most of the time we need
-
God to do something.
-
>> We need it. We need him to do something.
-
I I can think of a number of things
-
right now that I I am looking for God to
-
take care of. Anybody anybody else in
-
here got one of those or a dozen of
-
those or whatever? Well, it's just kind
-
of part of being human because we we are
-
a spirit. We have a soul. We live in a
-
body. We live on planet Earth. Satan's
-
the god of this place
-
of planet Satan is the god of planet
-
earth and and uh but he's not over he's
-
not god of the church so there's nothing
-
he can do. We're the ones that have the
-
dominion, the power, the authority. And
-
I want I want to get back around to that
-
in a few weeks time. I want to get back
-
around to the believer's authority. what
-
we've got,
-
>> what we have, what's been imparted and
-
planted on the inside of us, what we
-
have available to us that we so seldom
-
ever step over into, a lot of times, you
-
know, we're shooting ourselves in the
-
foot because we don't do what we're
-
equipped to do. Man, once we find out
-
who we are in him,
-
>> I spent time knowing who I was in me,
-
and it wasn't real pleasing. I started
-
reading my Bible. I found out who I was
-
in me. That's one thing. But I started
-
reading in my Bible and I found out who
-
I was in him. And when I started mixing
-
those two together, putting aside who I
-
am in me and started watching who I am
-
in him, when I when I got hold of that,
-
all of a sudden, my life took a turn the
-
other direction. Okay? In him, I live
-
and I move and I have my being. I'm the
-
righteousness of God. In him, I I'm a
-
new creature in Christ Jesus. Old things
-
are passed away. Behold, all things are
-
become new. And all things are of God.
-
And I've been given the ministry of
-
reconciliation. And I go tell people
-
you're not going to die and go to hell
-
cuz all the sins you committed. The only
-
thing that'll send you to hell is the
-
not receiving the one that paid the
-
price. So you don't go have to go to
-
hell.
-
>> So anyway, that's all extra.
-
But anyway, anyway, going back through
-
there, we we we need to see God do
-
things. We we long to see him do things.
-
But most of us, as we've said before,
-
most of us have a tendency to sit like a
-
a lump on a log and wait for God to come
-
by. We kind of do our kumbaya thing,
-
waiting for the Lord to come by and and
-
you know, God will come by and I heard
-
about how he he reached out and touched
-
so and so and he healed so and so. And
-
so often we're looking around for God to
-
come by and do for us something we ought
-
to be doing for us because he already
-
did for us what all he really needs to
-
do for us.
-
>> Do I need to say that again? You're all
-
looking at me kind of funny. So often
-
we're trying to get God to do something
-
and if we were listening real close,
-
we'd probably hear him say, "I already
-
did that. I paid the price. I took care
-
of you. I I I met your needs. I I I
-
fixed your finances. I healed your body.
-
I
-
>> and so often we're trying to twist his
-
arm to get him to do something that he
-
already did. So why are we trying to get
-
him to do it again if he's already paid
-
the price?
-
>> And if we understand who we are in
-
Christ, who I am in him, in me it's not
-
that good. Okay, I am not the sharpest
-
thing since, you know, sliced bread. I
-
understand that. But when I found out
-
from the Bible what the Bible says,
-
>> I've been delivered from the power of
-
darkness. I've been translated into the
-
kingdom of his dear son. I am so
-
thankful for what he's done. So often I
-
get back here wondering why God's not
-
doing something when he doesn't have to
-
do something because he already did do
-
something 2,000 years ago and he's just
-
looking for me to take hold of that.
-
>> It's not my message for today anyway.
-
That's this is going to come down the
-
road a few months maybe. But anyway,
-
but going back through there, we we need
-
to see God do things and and a lot of
-
times we're we're kind of push pushing
-
it, trying to get God, you know, God, I
-
need you to do this. I need you to do
-
that and oh Lord, you know, things are
-
in they're in such a mess in my family
-
and there's such a mess in my finances
-
and God, I got a mess in my in my in my
-
physical body. And and if we look
-
through the scriptures, most of what
-
we're pushing him to do, him already did
-
do it.
-
And we and we're looking he we're
-
looking for him to do something. He's
-
looking for us to take something. Now,
-
we have to understand though that going
-
back through there because he is not
-
only God, he's also our loving, kind,
-
heavenly father. And there's something
-
about a father, you know, I I look back
-
when I was a kid and realize my my dad
-
did a lot of stuff for me that he just
-
did. I didn't necessarily ask him to.
-
I'm not real sure I needed him to, but
-
just because he was father, he did that.
-
>> All right. And so if we look at that
-
that God's got this father side and
-
there is a side of God where he will uh
-
sometimes God will just reach out and do
-
some things just because he's a loving
-
good kind he heavenly father and and and
-
don't let that bother you if he does
-
that. And and I've not I don't know
-
about you but I've noticed the younger I
-
was in Christ the more he stepped out
-
and did things like that. And the more I
-
grew up in Christ, the more he expected
-
me to reach out and take some things
-
like that and not just get it, but go
-
out and deliver it to some other people.
-
>> But I I mean, for instance, you go
-
there's this there's this amazingly
-
wonderful, kind, compassionate side of
-
God where, you know, he doesn't have a
-
problem with, oh, you got needs again,
-
boy, you are a pain. God doesn't have
-
any pains. Even if I thought I was for a
-
while, he doesn't have any of pains like
-
that. But sometimes, you know, it's not
-
it's not like God's going you again. It
-
doesn't work like that. But sometimes
-
God will just because because he cares
-
about us and because he knows maybe we
-
don't know some things we're going to
-
know if we get down the road a little
-
bit. Sometimes we don't know some things
-
today we're going to know next week
-
>> or next month or next year. So there's
-
some things we're going to get hold of
-
even if we I'm not even going to ask if
-
any hands, but are there things you wish
-
you knew now? you wish you knew, but you
-
really don't know now, but you're going
-
to know eventually. There's there's
-
things in Christ, things in the plan of
-
God that you're going to get hold of,
-
but maybe it's not real clear to you
-
right now. There's a side of God where
-
he says, "Okay, I'm going to I am going
-
to pick up and carry you for a little
-
bit.
-
>> I'll take care of some things for a
-
little bit. All right. Now, if I'm going
-
to sit back, like I said, sit by the
-
fire singing kumbaya, waiting for God to
-
come and take care of that. It may not
-
happen because that's not the original
-
plan
-
>> for me to sit and do nothing so he can
-
do everything.
-
>> He already did everything
-
>> in him. He I live and I move and I have
-
my being. But if we go back through
-
there, there is there is this this
-
wonderful amazing side to God where he
-
has just left himself room in the
-
scriptures. He always stays scriptural.
-
He's left himself room in the scriptures
-
to do some things for us, in us, to us,
-
through us, taking care of us. He's left
-
himself room to do some things like
-
that. Probably if we went around the
-
room, every one of us has had probably
-
half a dozen of those.
-
>> Maybe this week, I don't know. But
-
anyway, a lot of us have had some things
-
like that. But you go back through and
-
God shows us that. For instance, you go
-
back through and John the uh fifth
-
chapter says we're starting around verse
-
two. Now, there is in Jerusalem by the
-
sheep market a pool which is called in
-
the Hebrew Hebrew tongue Bethesda. Okay,
-
there's there I'll go through that
-
again. There is in Jerusalem by the
-
sheep market a pool which is called in
-
the Hebrew tongue Bethesda. Okay, there
-
it's on the screen. Uh it's called
-
Bethesda. It's having five porches. They
-
say these porches were fairly good size.
-
History tells us, legend tells us there
-
was a wealthy man that saw all these
-
people. There was a great multitude of
-
people at this pool of Bethesda. Sick,
-
lame, poor. You know, there was a very
-
wealthy man that came and built these
-
leantos so people wouldn't have to lay
-
out in the sun because there's one man,
-
we're going to talk about him in just a
-
minute. He'd been sick for 38 years.
-
That's a long time to be in the sun. If
-
you've been around Oklahoma the last
-
three weeks,
-
>> warm's warm.
-
So anyway, in going through there, it
-
says, "Now there is in Jerusalem by the
-
sheep market of the pool, which is
-
called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda,
-
having five porches. In these five
-
porches lay great multitude, great, not
-
just a bunch of people, but a great m
-
how many is a great multitude. It's more
-
than a multitude. It's a great mult
-
there's a great multitude of people." Uh
-
says right there, you can read it with
-
me in case you don't have your Bible
-
with you. There's a great multitude of
-
uh sick folk, blind, halt, withered,
-
waiting. They're all waiting for the
-
moving of the water. For at a certain
-
season, an angel would come down and
-
trouble the waters. Come down. He didn't
-
come up. This he didn't come. He didn't
-
bring it up out of the out of hell. He
-
came down. Angels aren't healers.
-
They're messengers.
-
>> You don't thank the pizza guy for making
-
the pizza. All he does is deliver it.
-
Messengers. Angels are not the ones
-
doing the miracles. They just deliver
-
some things. But he goes on it and says
-
uh there were there was a there was a
-
great multitude of people out of all it
-
says right there um angel it says I'll
-
I'll start for the sake of time for an
-
angel went down at a certain season into
-
the pool and troubled the waters and
-
whosoever first stepped in after the
-
after the troubling of the waters was
-
made whole of whatsoever disease he had.
-
Now think about this here's a great
-
multitude of impotent folk by this pool
-
of Bethesda. Bethesda means house of
-
mercy. This is the mercy of God. This is
-
under the law, under the Old Testament.
-
And ever so, they didn't have a
-
calendar. Nobody knew when the angel was
-
coming. Nobody, they didn't have the,
-
you know, the the fifth Sunday. They
-
didn't have the second Tuesday. They
-
didn't know when the angel was coming.
-
They just knew every now and then this
-
angel's coming down out of heaven with
-
something for somebody. And and when he
-
did, he troubled the waters. And
-
whosoever then first first first
-
whoever then stepped in first was made
-
whole of whatsoever disease he had.
-
Okay. So we see this this you know this
-
great uh move going on here and the
-
place people are coming from everywhere
-
and but it goes there and says there was
-
a there was a man that been he was he'd
-
been sick 30 30 think about that 38
-
years. Do you know how long 38 years is?
-
It's a long time. Here's a guy that's
-
been there. I We don't know how long
-
he's been at the pool of Bethesda, but
-
he's been sick 38 years. And he's there
-
now. He's sick now. He's maybe under a
-
lean too now. We don't know what he's
-
doing, but he's sick. He's been sick 38
-
years. Jesus didn't walk up there. The
-
the the man didn't say, "I see Jesus
-
coming. I need a healing in my No, he
-
didn't say that. He's just laying there
-
38 years sick." Okay? And Jesus saw him
-
and knew he'd been a long a long time in
-
that case. And he said to him, he comes
-
up there and he says, "Wilt thou," King
-
James,
-
"Wilt thou be made whole?" This guy
-
goes, "Sir,
-
I he didn't say, "Sir, I'd love to be."
-
No, he said, "Sir, I have no man when
-
the waters are troubled to put me into
-
the pool, but while I'm coming, another
-
always stepeth down before me." So this
-
guy's been sick 38 years. He's been by
-
this pool for who knows how long. Every
-
time he sees the waters get troubled,
-
somebody gets there ahead of him.
-
Apparently, somebody had maybe somebody
-
they could hire to pick him up, carry
-
him in. I don't know. All I know is he
-
said, "Every time the waters get
-
troubled, I don't get there in time.
-
Somebody always gets there ahead of me."
-
So Jesus said, "Is it your will to be
-
healed?" He said, "I can't."
-
You ever talk to one of those folks?
-
>> You is it your will to be healed? Well,
-
I would, but I I can't. I've been I've
-
been I've I've had them lay hands on me
-
until I've got friction burns on my
-
forehead. I'm probably never going to
-
get anything. You know, I tell I'm too
-
slow. I'm too dumb. Something just isn't
-
going to work. Somebody always gets
-
ahead of me. God just must like somebody
-
better.
-
So, he just says, "I got no man to put
-
me into the pool while another, you
-
know, when the angel troubles the water,
-
but while I'm coming, another always
-
stepeth down before me." Jesus didn't
-
say, "Well, I'm going to set you up on a
-
14-week correspondence course.
-
Get your computer out there and you I
-
want you to open this up. I'm going to
-
have somebody come by and, you know, run
-
you through the scriptures. We'll we'll
-
get you better in probably a year or
-
two, but just hang on. It's been 38.
-
What's a couple more?"
-
What'd he say? He said, "I have no man
-
to w when the waters are troubled to put
-
me into the pu the pool, but while I'm
-
coming, another always stepeth down
-
before me." What' Jesus say? He just
-
said, "Get up and walk."
-
>> Yeah.
-
>> There's no faith in operation.
-
You get down the road here a couple
-
verses and he's carrying he's carrying
-
his bed on the Sabbath. And the
-
religious leaders go, "What are you
-
doing?" He said, "I'm carrying my bed."
-
He said, "You can't do that." He said,
-
"I I can't help it. The guy that healed
-
me told me to do it." They said, "Who
-
was it?" And he said, "I have no idea
-
who it was. Some guy walked up said,
-
"Get up. Take up your bed and walk." So
-
I took it and walked. And I don't know
-
who the guy was. He did. It wasn't like
-
he saw Jesus and he got healed. He just
-
Somebody walked up and said, "Get up if
-
you want to." The power of God came on
-
him. He got up and he walked out of
-
there perfectly healed. The next day
-
they see him walking. He goes, "I don't
-
know who that was. The guy told me to
-
get up, so I did. Been sick 38 years and
-
I am perfectly well." Now
-
the part I want to get to is there was
-
no that we can tell. There was no faith
-
involved in this at all. He wasn't
-
expecting anything. He wasn't planning
-
on anything. He was just existing until
-
time to go on home. You know, he's not
-
getting anything. But Jesus walks up
-
there with okay, no special anything, no
-
special uncction or anything. He walks
-
up there says, "Is it your will to be
-
healed? I can't." Says, "Well, get up
-
and walk anyway." He got up and walked
-
away perfectly whole. There is this
-
side. Jesus did that. H the ninth
-
chapter of Mark's uh John's gospel,
-
there was a a man that was blind from
-
birth and the disciples said, "Master,
-
who did sin? This man or his parents?"
-
Said he's born blind. Jesus said,
-
"Neither this man sin nor his parents,
-
neither one of them." It was not a sin.
-
It was just sin on the human race.
-
But that the works of God should be made
-
manifest in him. I must work the works
-
of him that sent me while it's still
-
day. The night cometh when no man can
-
walk work. And and when he had thus
-
spoken, he spat on the ground, made clay
-
of the spittle, anointed the man's eyes,
-
and said, "Go wash in the pool of
-
Silom." And he did. Legend tells us
-
there was a boy that led him to the pool
-
of Silom. Okay? Because he couldn't see.
-
When he came out of the water, he came
-
back seeing. So there were times, now he
-
didn't say he was crying out for
-
healing. The disciples said, "Master,
-
who sinned, this guy or his parents?"
-
Jesus said, "Neither one. That wasn't
-
the issue. It's just it's just it's sin
-
in the human race. That's what did
-
this." Okay. The sin in the human race
-
caused it and the redeemer is going to
-
settle it.
-
>> So anyway, so we see so we can we could
-
go on and on. Okay. Uh Mark chapter 5,
Mark 5 chapter mention
-
chapter 6, chapter 7, chapter 8. We we
-
can go through and see certain cases
-
about 20 22 23% of the time Jesus got
-
somebody a miracle in his ministry.
-
There's about a quarter of the time
-
somebody got a freebie.
-
I don't know about you, I like freebies.
-
>> Anybody in here ever gotten a freebie? I
-
mean, you were just sitting there
-
minding your own business and all a
-
sudden the power of God came on you and
-
you're going, "Wow, I am better."
-
Anybody in here ever got one of those?
-
Aren't those wonderful?
-
>> Don't you wish you'd get one of those
-
every time? No. But anyway,
-
I'm not sure how far we're going to get
-
with this this morning, but Whoa. Yeah.
-
So anyway, but the part I want to get to
-
is a few times about 25 23% of the time
-
if you go through and count it, people
-
are going to get something just out of
-
the wonderful, merciful, loving kindness
-
of the father god.
-
>> And when you get one of those, you're
-
really thankful for. We had a friend of
-
ours that was in a meeting here,
-
goodness, number of years ago. I think
-
it was at a Fire for the Nations if I
-
remember right. And they had they had
-
such severe back problems they rented a
-
a a van and had somebody put them in the
-
back and drove them halfway across the
-
country to get them into the meetings
-
down here. They had a very severe back
-
problems. They're sitting on the front
-
row and the power of God came on them.
-
Didn't even talk. It wasn't even a part
-
of what was going on in the meeting.
-
Just sitting minding their own business
-
on the front row. A minister of the
-
gospel.
-
Okay. Not somebody looking for a
-
freebie. They just wanted to come get in
-
the meetings. had to get put in the back
-
of a van and driven down here in pain,
-
sitting on the front row in pain in the
-
service. Power of God came on them
-
perfectly, instantly healed. Within a
-
week's time, they're back out playing
-
golf and last I knew they're still doing
-
great, still doing wonderful. So, there
-
are times like that. It's not do you
-
qualify or do you not qualify? I don't
-
know anything about any of that. I just
-
know there's this merciful side of God
-
and sometimes he'll do that. Well,
-
when's he going to do it? I don't know.
-
It's this I don't like to use the word
-
sovereign because it gets so abused.
-
>> God's a sovereign God. No, he doesn't
-
sovereignly steal. He doesn't
-
sovereignly kill. He doesn't sovereignly
-
destroy. He doesn't sovereignly till
-
figure out what you can put up with.
-
>> Sovereign just simply means he's got a
-
side to him where he'll step out because
-
of his goodness and do something for you
-
didn't even know you had coming.
-
>> You didn't deserve it. You didn't earn
-
it. You didn't buy it. You didn't
-
purchase it. You didn't pay for it. you.
-
It just came on you. Somebody says, "I
-
don't know why. I don't know." Ask him
-
if he tells you just enjoy it. Don't
-
even tell me. I don't want to know. But
-
the part I want to get to, have you
-
found Mark chapter 5 yet?
Mark 5 chapter mention
-
We're not going to get anywhere.
-
Eventually, we'll get there. I've been
-
trying to get here for about a month.
-
We'll get back around there eventually.
-
But going back through here, there is
-
this side where God will do some things.
-
We had a lot of hands in here. Somebody
-
said, "I got a free I got a freebie,
-
man. I just, you know, I did when I I
-
meant I was just barely walking with
-
God." I was at the in the fellowship
-
hall of the American Baptist Church. If
-
there's if you're
-
if you're going to get a miracle, it's
-
probably not in that hall down there. I
-
don't know. I'd never heard about
-
anybody getting one. I I don't know. I
-
don't mean that mean. I just, you know.
-
Anyway, and um man, I didn't know. I you
-
know I man I was having allergy problems
-
and I was needing to go back and get a
-
weekly injection shot for that and all
-
that and all of a sudden all these
-
things start happening. I everybody
-
we're a bunch of young people in there.
-
We're just we're just popcorn prayers.
-
One here, one here, one here. We don't
-
get any answers. We just pray and
-
without thinking I I just said, "God, do
-
you Man, I need I need to get back and
-
get my my allergy injection. I need a
-
healing. Do you ever do things like
-
that?" It was a negative request. It was
-
a question and instantly all the
-
symptoms left never came back. I said,
-
"God, that's great. That's re do you do
-
this all the time." So anyway,
-
so going back through there, there there
-
is this amazingly wonderful
-
kind, compassionate side of the father
-
god because he's father and he loves us
-
and he takes care of us and he'll do
-
some things for us, but he doesn't want
-
us sitting back just waiting for that to
-
be the way we get everything. God wants
-
more out of us. You know, when when he
-
made us new creatures in Christ, he had
-
a plan for our lives, not just to keep
-
going over and trying to figure out how
-
to get something. He wants us to go out
-
and make something happen.
-
So, anyway, that being the case, um, in
-
Mark chapter 5, let's look at a couple
Mark 5 chapter mention
-
things in here. Um, what we really find
-
out is God's plan is not for us to sit
-
back and wait for something to happen.
-
You know, God and his one of mercy and
-
wisdom and all that. Yeah, I'll take it
-
that way. But God means more for you and
-
I to make something happen. He He needs
-
an army of believers. He needs some
-
folks to make something happen. He He
-
needs the church to rise up and be the
-
church. Okay? And so anyway, going back
-
through here, um sometimes God does just
-
reach out and do some things like that.
-
But as a general as a general rule,
-
okay, I I I can't put a formula on that
-
for you, but as a general rule, God's
-
wanting us to not just to go try to get
-
something to happen, but to make
-
something happen. God wants us to be
-
believers,
-
okay? Not just not just sit back and
-
sing kumbaya. He's not wanting that.
-
He's wanting us to live and act, walk,
-
and talk like believers. So anyway, that
-
being the case, if we go back through
-
here, Mark 5:2
-
says, "And there was a certain woman.
-
There a certain woman had an issue of
-
blood." Now, we was went through this a
-
few weeks ago,
-
but uh my my question is um well, we'll
-
go through this. Uh Mark 5:2, certain
-
woman had an issue of blood 12 years,
-
suffered many things, and many 12 years.
-
So, we've already talked about the guy
-
at the pool of Bethesda. He'd been sick
-
38 years. Okay, there's another woman
-
that been sick for 12 years. uh spirit
-
of infirmity here. This woman,
-
Mark 5:2, certain woman had an issue of
-
blood. 12 years, 12 years. We don't know
-
if this was cancer. We don't know what
-
it was. God didn't write it in there.
-
They probably didn't have a name for it
-
back then. Anyway, woman certain there
-
was a there was Mark 5:2. certain woman
-
had an issue of blood 12 years suffered
-
many things of many physicians spent all
-
she had nothing better but rather grew
-
worse. So here is a here is a case a a a
-
surely going to fail not going to work
-
case. We don't see her with any family.
-
She's by herself. She doesn't have any
-
money. Said she spent all of her living.
-
She's not getting better. She's this is
-
not a chronic thing. This is a terminal
-
thing. She's not getting better. She's
-
getting worse. This thing's not going to
-
just bother her the rest of her life.
-
It's going to cut her life short. No
-
money, no family, no help. Religion
-
can't help her. The the law couldn't
-
help her. Going into the synagogue
-
couldn't help her. Nobody's going to
-
help her. Okay? She's even considered
-
unclean under the Levitical law. She's
-
not She came up to behind Jesus and
-
touched the hem of his garment. She's
-
not supposed to touch him because she's
-
unclean. She's not supposed to touch a
-
clean person.
-
If she did, then he's supposed to go be
-
unclean for a certain period of time.
-
This is just this woman doesn't have
-
anything going for her. She might have
-
had family, but it doesn't look like it
-
because when she gets to Jesus, there's
-
nobody helping her to get to him.
-
Nobody's helping her to crawl up there.
-
Nobody's got her by the hand. Nobody.
-
Hey, nobody helping her.
-
You thought you had it bad.
-
So, she comes up there. She uh
-
certain woman had an issue of blood 12
-
years, suffered many things of many
-
physician. She'd been to every doctor in
-
the country. I don't know. They didn't
-
just have a family physician, man. She'd
-
been to every doctor around there. I
-
don't know what they had for help, but
-
it probably wasn't worth much. Okay.
-
Suffered suffered many things. Medical
-
science was painful. It's not real great
-
today always, but back there. Suffered
-
many things of many physicians. spent
-
all she had was re nothing better but
-
rather grew worse
-
and now all of a sudden she when she
-
hears of Jesus she comes from the press
-
behind and touches his garment for she
-
said if I if I may touch but his clothes
-
I shall behold straightway the fountain
-
of her blood was dried up she felt in
-
her body she is healed of that plague
-
Jesus immediately knowing in himself
-
that virtue or power had flowed out of
-
him turned him about in the press and
-
said I knew you're coming I saw
-
he didn't see her
-
We have this mentality. God just he, you
-
know, he just he just knows everything.
-
Yeah, he does. But to a certain degree,
-
here's Jesus in his earthly ministry.
-
She comes in the press behind, touches
-
his garment, and he stops. He felt power
-
go out of him. No, my I love I love
-
reading this because the Bible said
-
there was a multitude of people
-
thronging him, but if they're thronging,
-
they're touching him. But he didn't stop
-
and say, "Somebody touched me." When he
-
finally did that, his disciples said,
-
"Master, you see the multitude thronging
-
you, and you say who to?" He ignored
-
them, looked around about to see her
-
that had done this thing. The woman,
-
fearing and trembling, knowing what was
-
done done in her, came and fell down
-
before him, told him all the truth. He
-
said, "Daughter,
-
your faith made you whole." See, the
-
thing is, it wasn't that somebody
-
touched him with their hands. Somebody
-
touched him with their faith.
-
>> All right? A lot of people touched him
-
with their hands and nothing happened.
-
If he'd have said, "My power made you
-
whole." Everybody would have said, "How
-
come your power didn't make me whole? I
-
need a healing." When he said,
-
"Daughter, your faith made you whole."
-
Everybody knew why she got healed. They
-
didn't. She came in faith. They came a
-
hoping and a praying.
-
>> She came in the press behind and touched
-
his garment. Touched the hem of his
-
garment. She's going to touch and run
-
because she's not supposed to be out
-
there in public getting something. When
-
she touched him, all of a sudden she
-
felt in her body she's healed of that
-
plague. When you've been sick for
-
certain woman has had an issue of blood
-
12 years, been sick that long and all of
-
a sudden she touches the hem of his
-
garment, feels power flow into her body
-
instantly. She's hit healthy in her body
-
and Jesus Jesus stops and he says,
-
"Who touched me? Who touched me?"
-
Everybody's touching him. Why does he
-
say, "Who touched me?" because somebody
-
came in with the touch of faith. He was
-
looking for and waiting for that. My
-
question is, what did what did she do? I
-
want to know what she did. What did this
-
woman do? Sick, broke, alone, everything
-
wrong, family's gone, money's gone. What
-
did she do to be able to come up in the
-
press behind and touch the hem of his
-
garment? What did she do? If I can find
-
what she did to get healed, I can know
-
what I can do to get healed.
-
If I know what she did to get healing in
-
her body, I know what I can tell other
-
people.
-
When he said, "Daughter, your faith made
-
you whole." Like somebody said, people
-
say, "Well, healing's been done away
-
with." Nobody's going to say, "Faith's
-
been done away with."
-
>> If her faith made her whole, anybody can
-
tap into that. God's no respector of
-
persons.
-
>> So, anyway, we'll go just a few more
-
minutes here, then we'll finish up. Um,
-
I I I've wanted to know and I'm I'm just
-
getting to point A here, so we're not
-
going to get far. But my question was,
-
what did what did she do? How did this
-
woman with everything going wrong,
-
nothing going right for her? Okay, she's
-
she's dying. That's all there is. What's
-
What did she do? See, so often we're
-
we're looking for God to do something.
-
Now, none of you do. Nobody here does
-
that. But so often we're looking for God
-
to come by and do something for us. I
-
don't God didn't come by and do
-
something for her. Jesus stopped and
-
said, "Who touched me? I want to know
-
what did she do? If we can just figure
-
this out, I if I need to see God do
-
something in my life, he's needing me to
-
do something to activate that. If we as
-
believers, if we can find out what God
-
wants to do, how he wants this done in
-
our life, if we can activate that, then
-
we can go through life watching God do
-
all kinds of things and we can tell
-
other people how they can get the same
-
miracles. God wants to do stuff for
-
people, but he's needing us to do our
-
part. If I'm going to sit back and just
-
wait for him to do something, it might
-
happen, probably it won't. I could be at
-
the pool of Bethesda, maybe get
-
something, maybe not. But if I can find
-
out if I find out what this lady did,
-
maybe I can do the same thing, get the
-
same result.
-
What did she What did this lady do? What
-
did she do that turned her life around?
-
Sick 12 years, suffered many things and
-
many physicians. What did she do that
-
made the difference? How did this How
-
did she turn her life around? Okay.
-
First time I ever heard brother Hagen.
-
Didn't know who Kenneth Hagen was. I was
-
at a full gospel businessmen's meeting
-
and right outside Detroit, Michigan. I
-
just heard the full gospel businessmen
-
were full gospel. So, I figured they
-
must have miracles all the time. I went
-
in and this guy named Kennethy Hagen is
-
ministering in there. I don't know who
-
he is. No idea, but I got a a decent
-
seat. And he and he stood up and he
-
said, "Uh, I'm going to teach a message
-
tonight. I was talking to the Lord
-
Jesus. He appeared to me in a vision and
-
I, you know, going through all this. And
-
he said, I said, Lord, there's something
-
I feel like you've been trying to get
-
across to me. I've been reading the
-
scriptures and there's something you're
-
trying to get across to me, but I can't
-
seem to get hold of what it is. Would
-
you tell me what that is? Said Jesus
-
turned around and said, "Sure, I'd be
-
glad to." He says, "If you look at Mark
-
5, verse 25 through verse 34, you're
-
going to find this woman wrote her own
-
ticket with God." I thought, "Huh?"
-
I had no idea what he's talking about. I
-
just glad I was going to heaven. Okay.
-
Didn't know anything about writing your
-
own ticket with God. When he said that
-
though, that stuck with me. That was 19
-
about 197
-
early 1974. That stuck with me from that
-
day on. I thought if you can write your
-
own ticket with God. I'm going to start
-
writing tickets.
-
>> I'm not going to sit around and wait
-
sing what might take place, what God
-
might do, what he might take a liken to
-
me about. I'm not waiting for all that.
-
If I can write, if Jesus appeared to him
-
in a vision and said, "Here's what you
-
can do." Go to Mark chapter 5:2. I'm
-
going to show you how you can write your
-
own ticket with God. And if you'll do
-
that, you can receive anything from God
-
that you need to see him do. All right.
-
I heard that and I said, I saw it later
-
in a book, and I thought, if that's how
-
this works, I'm going to be writing
-
tickets from now on.
-
>> I'm going to be a ticket writer. I am
-
going to I am going to make sure that
-
this starts working for me. If Jesus
-
said that to brother Hagen and he told
-
him to write it into a book and put it
-
on a cassette, if he did all that, I'm
-
going down that road.
-
>> Have I got it right every time? No. But
-
I got it right a bunch of times.
-
>> You can write your own ticket with God.
-
What did this woman do? Nobody in that
-
crowd got a healing
-
that we know of. They all needed,
-
wanted, desired something. But nobody
-
got anything until the sick, broke,
-
dying,
-
alone woman, crawls in the press behind,
-
touches the hem of his garment. Power
-
flows out of him into her. He stops and
-
says, "Somebody touched me. Who was
-
that?" She fell down before him, told
-
him all the truth. And and he
-
said,"Woman, your faith made you whole.
-
Go in peace and behold of thy plague."
-
If she could do that, I want to know how
-
this works.
-
God's no respector of persons. If she
-
could do it back there 2,000 years ago,
-
you and I can do the same thing. If we
-
just find what did what did she do? I
-
want to know what did this lady do to
-
turn her life around. Now, I know nobody
-
in here needs your life turned around.
-
Everybody's healthy, everybody's
-
blessed, prosperous, everybody, your
-
mind's doing good, your body's great,
-
you everything's No, probably a few
-
people need a few things in here. I want
-
to know if God's no respector of persons
-
and if this woman can get a miracle in
-
her body in the middle of a crowd being
-
so sick she's not supposed to be in
-
public. I want to know what she did
-
because I want to figure out how to do
-
the same thing. If it's available, I am
-
in line
-
>> and so are you.
-
>> Where did we I started a couple weeks
-
ago. We started here. So, we're going to
-
finish up here and we'll pick up another
-
week. But if you go back through there,
-
what what did she do? What did she do
-
that changed her life?
-
Okay. Did she did she fast for 30 days?
-
Okay. What did she do? What did she do
-
that made a difference in her life?
-
Certain woman had Mark chapter 5:25.
-
Certain woman had an issue of blood 12
-
years. Suffered many things and many
-
physicians spent all she had nothing
-
better but rather grew worse when she
-
>> when she heard what changed the course
-
of her life. I don't see anybody in that
-
crowd of people that heard anything.
-
They touched, they tried, but I don't
-
see anybody trying. I don't see anybody
-
hearing anything until she heard. When
-
she heard, she got healed.
-
>> It's It started with her. What did What
-
did Proverbs 4:20 say? My son, attend to
-
my words. Incline thine ear unto my
-
sayings. Where people mess it up a lot
-
as we're trying to get something that a
-
shortcut.
-
>> I don't I haven't got time to hear all
-
this.
-
We got no excuse in America.
-
>> You can put it on your phone, your iPad,
-
your computer. You can put it in your
-
car. You can put it in your Bible. You
-
can put it anywhere. You can find
-
something like that. My phone is full of
-
messages. If I want to hear something, I
-
can hear it every day. It's available
-
there. Maybe not in Afghanistan or maybe
-
not in Iran. I don't know. But there are
-
places they don't. But I do know we have
-
no
-
>> excuse.
-
We have no excuse for not hearing. If I
-
don't hear, it's my own fault. If I
-
don't get results that you get by
-
hearing and I don't hear, then it's
-
somebody's fault that's mine.
-
So, I can I can make a change in that. I
-
can take time and hear. How much should
-
I hear? That's easy. Hear it here until
-
you get it here until you see it working
-
out here.
-
>> Y'all just looking at me funny.
-
>> It works. It works.
-
>> God is no
-
>> respector of persons.
-
Okay?
-
>> He doesn't care if you're a sick Jew, a
-
sick Gentile. He doesn't care where
-
you're from. Doesn't make any difference
-
for God. It does not make a bit of
-
difference. If you'll do what he says to
-
do, you'll get what he said you can get.
-
>> And he didn't make it difficult. My
-
goodness, he made it so simple. We We
-
have to
-
We almost have to intentionally not get
-
it. Well, I just don't like taking all
-
that time. Well,
-
We'll just leave that one alone for
-
right now and I'm going to find a place
-
to unhook here. But anyway, what was
-
what was what what made the difference
-
in her life when she had
-
>> heard okay I'll hit I'll hit a couple
-
high points and when we come back
-
sometime we'll finish this part up. But
-
anyway, if you go back to uh Luke's
-
gospel, the fifth chapter, there was a
-
bunch of people, scribes, Pharisees, and
-
doctors of the law came by there and
-
Jesus was in the house
-
>> teaching.
-
Didn't say it was healing, but it said,
-
"And the power of the Lord was
-
>> was what?"
-
>> You've been reading this is good. The
-
power of the Lord was present to heal.
-
Now, don't stop there. Power of the Lord
-
was present to heal
-
>> them. God wouldn't have sent his power
-
to heal them if he didn't want them
-
healed. And if there wasn't enough power
-
to heal all of them and all them could
-
have been healed and probably if they
-
were as ordinary as they were, they
-
probably all needed healing.
-
Power of the Lord was present to heal
-
them. But if you read that through, a
-
guy came down through the roof and got
-
healed.
-
>> He had to come down, you know, from the
-
second level up there, get healed, ready
-
to run for his life. Because the people
-
that came in there, they weren't coming
-
to get healed. They were trying to find
-
Jesus saying something they could accuse
-
him of.
-
But what were they doing? They're up
-
there. They're the God sent the power of
-
the Lord present to heal them. That
-
means he wanted them. He wouldn't have
-
sent it if he didn't want them healed.
-
He wouldn't have sent it if he couldn't
-
heal them. He did all that and they
-
didn't. Not one got a healing in their
-
body. This guy gets healed and they
-
don't even like it. Who's he think he is
-
getting healed? Who's does Jesus think
-
he is healing somebody on a wrong day?
-
Got all kinds of upset.
-
That's the fifth chapter of Luke's
-
gospel. Then you go to the sixth chapter
-
and it said all this people great
-
multitude of people out of the all the
-
region roundabout. Jerusalem, Judea,
-
Samaria, all this other people from all
-
the region roundabout, they all came
-
together to hear him. Somebody's a step
-
ahead of me. Okay, that's good. I'll
-
take that. They came to hear him and to
-
be healed of their infirmities. And as
-
many as touched him were made whole. for
-
they want virtue out of him and healed
-
them all. Luke 6, none of them got
-
healed. Or Luke 5, Luke 6, they all got
-
healed. How come nobody got it in one
-
chapter and everybody got it in the
-
other chapter? Well, God's just that way
-
sometimes. Some sometimes he likes some
-
folks and some just say, "You just
-
irritate me. You just bug me today."
-
No.
-
Luke 5. Nobody gets it except the guy
-
coming down through the roof and his
-
friends lowered him down and ran for
-
their life. He gets healed. Luke 6,
-
everybody gets healed. Why did God
-
change? He didn't. God didn't change.
-
The people did. Every Nobody came to
-
hear in Luke 5. Everybody came in Luke
-
6. Who are the ones that got healed? The
-
ones that heard. Well, that's enough for
-
today. Let's all stand to our feet.
-
Father, we're grateful. We're so
-
grateful. Father, you you are no
-
respector of persons. You You made all
-
the goodness available for all of us. We
-
didn't earn it. We didn't deserve it. We
-
didn't We weren't even around to ask for
-
it when you purchased and paid the price
-
when you when you redeemed us and shed
-
the blood of Jesus for us. We're
-
grateful for that, Father. And so right
-
now, I pray this will get on the inside
-
of us. Just a simple truth. If I'll just
-
take time to hear, if I can hear, I can
-
get healed. If I can hear, I can get
-
healed. If I can hear, I can get healed.
-
Or if I will hear, I will get healed. If
-
I'll just do my part, you always do your
-
part. And so, Father, I pray that we'll
-
just get this. That it'll not just be
-
another message we've heard from
-
somewhere. I pray this will get on the
-
inside of us and something will get on
-
way down on the inside of us. That Jesus
-
said, "Let these things sink down into
-
your ears."
-
So, I'm I'm I'm looking for that, dear
-
Lord, for that to get on the inside of
-
every one of us. Whether it's for
-
healing for our bodies or our needs
-
being met, our bills being paid, our
-
family being straightened out. Father,
-
there's so many things we we need to see
-
you doing.
-
We're just looking for you to do it. But
-
you paid the price. You're looking for
-
us to act on that. Oh, and there's more
-
to it than that. I understand that,
-
Lord. We'll get to that another time.
-
But there's so many so many simple
-
truths you put in your word. We're we're
-
waiting for you to do it. You're waiting
-
for us to take it. And so, I thank you
-
for that, dear Father. You left it up to
-
us and we're grateful, dear Father. You
-
wouldn't have left it up to us if
-
something to take it. [music] So, we
-
thank you for it in Jesus name, Father.
-
Hallelujah. Glory to God. And while
-
heads bowed and eyes are closed and
-
Christians are praying, if you're here
-
today and you say, "I just need God to
-
do some things in my life and I'm not
-
really even walking with him, right?
-
I'm not walking with God. Either not
-
born again, never been saved, or I I got
-
saved and I've been away from God. My
-
life's just not where it should be. I
-
I'm I'm away from God. I'm away from his
-
will and plan for my life. I'm away from
-
what he wants for for me." If you're
-
here and you'd say, "Pastor, I'm just
-
not where I should be with God. And I I
-
want to get that changed today. I want
-
to turn my life around. I want to I want
-
to do what you said in your word I could
-
do where I can reach out and take hold
-
of what Jesus paid for. Not sitting by
-
waiting to see what he will do. I'm
-
going to tap into what he did do. So,
-
Father, if there are people in here that
-
have never made Jesus Lord of their
-
lives, or if they've been away from
-
Almighty God, they've they've [music]
-
turned their life away, turned around
-
into the practice of sin and wrongdoing,
-
and things just aren't right. They're
-
not where they should be. It's not your
-
fault, anybody. It's It's our own fault,
-
but if we did it, we can change it. So,
-
I ask you to speak to hearts now. So,
-
while heads are bowed and eyes are
-
closed, if you're here today, say,
-
"Pastor, I want to get things right with
-
God today.
-
If you're never if you never been saved,
-
now is the time. Today is the day of
-
salvation." If you're if you're away
-
from God, don't wait any longer to come
-
back. Today is the day of salvation.
-
If that's you, wave your hand at me.
-
Anybody here say, "Pastor, pray for me.
-
I I need to get things right with God
-
today. My life is not where it should
-
be. It is a train wreck. Things are not
-
right between God and me, and it's not
-
his fault." If that's you, wave your
-
hand at me. Anybody here?
-
Hallelujah.
-
Glory to God. Praise God. All right.
-
Anybody here? Look across the room one
-
more time.
-
Father, we thank you in the wonderful
-
name of Jesus. I thank you so much.
-
The price you paid for us. The price you
-
paid for us. We're so thankful for it,
-
dear Father. You've done so much and all
-
you need us to do is reach out and take
-
hold of what you did. We thank you for
-
it in Jesus wonderful name, Father.
-
Hallelujah. [music] Amen. Amen. Amen.
-
Glory to God. Hallelujah.
