  5. Thank you for joining us today, and we hope that you are blessed

  6. by today's podcast. Turn to the New Testament book

  7. of Philippians chapter number 3, thankful for those who helped us

  8. in areas parking and and out letters this morning and going

  9. to basically put together a service schedule list, probably

  10. go on. Teachers the back with kids

  11. hemans. Grateful for everybody and their

  12. efforts Philippians 3. Remember camp meeting

  13. registration is open online. If you plan on going demand,

  14. Avail yourself of those services with rather, Jeff, Moses being

  15. Night speaker and brother. Jonathan Atkins evangelist.

  16. Jonathan Atkins day speaker. I know our lives will be blessed

  17. in him by their Ministries him. Philippians 3.

  18. I'm going to begin reading in verse number 10 real quickly in

  19. this. Don't necessarily go on the

  20. podcast right here, but asking the church to help me pray.

  21. We have our national symbols, the Lord.

  22. Jesus Christ General Ministry Conference coming up, very

  23. quickly in the month of June and horse have the privilege of

  24. ministering there. But in addition to that, there

  25. are several different offices on National level that are opening

  26. up and I have been spoken to on a few different things.

  27. Concerning fulfilling one of those National offices or being

  28. a part of a team for another and I've been praying along the

  29. journey for some time. Concerning this about what to

  30. do. I'm just asking you to help me.

  31. Pray God, give me a definitive Direction on what needs to be

  32. done. I am not politicking.

  33. I'm not a politician. I don't go around talking to

  34. people and saying, well, you know a rare.

  35. You get me in there and we'll make the assemblies great again.

  36. N. Okay, and I have always went by

  37. the thing that have God opens the door.

  38. I'll step through the door and so just as just be praying with

  39. me because I will don't want to do any misstep in any direction

  40. or anyway, so what you'd be serving, it will still you.

  41. Have you did. It's got to be the right man for

  42. the right time, if that's me. So be it.

  43. If not, so be, it He-Man. So, I'm just asking for your

  44. prayers and ever. Amen!

  45. Philippians chapter number 3 and verse number 10, The Apostle

  46. Paul States, these words that I may know him. the power of His

  47. Resurrection, The Fellowship of his sufferings Being made

  48. conformable unto his death. If by any means, I might attain

  49. unto the resurrection of the Dead.

  50. Not as though I had already attained. either were already

  51. perfect, but I follow after, if that, I may apprehend that for

  52. which also I am apprehended of Christ, Jesus.

  53. Paul says, I want to know him the power of his resurrection

  54. Fellowship of the sun. Basically his death, his burial,

  55. his resurrection. It's a but I'm not necessarily

  56. counted myself to fully attain interesting.

  57. I'm not killing myself to a fully attain.

  58. The resurrection of the Dead. And he makes this phrase in

  59. verse 12. He says I Endeavor to apprehend

  60. that for which also I am a free handed of Christ Jesus for a

  61. little while tonight Minister this the death burial and

  62. Resurrection. Now, what the death burial and

  63. Resurrection? Now, what?

  64. So much soul of Christendom is focused and arrange the realm.

  65. Those three primary, things of the death burial and

  66. Resurrection. This is those after that has

  67. been fulfilled or taken place. You've been initialized in a

  68. life then so now, what do we do? Where do we go from here?

  69. Lord, I come to you tonight, I'm asking God for your help Lord

  70. here this evening. God crafts there, somebody in

  71. this place. This will be a benefit to, and

  72. God, if it's not in this immediate Place, perhaps there

  73. is somebody by way of podcast Lord, that this will be of some

  74. help or benefit to I pray God. Regardless, whether it's here or

  75. whether it's their pray, O Lord for your anointing Lord, Jesus

  76. upon my lips of play. So, Lord today, God, just of

  77. online god, with your purpose, in your plan, God for the

  78. service tonight. God and I Lord, when I Lord to

  79. my home this evening. Lord, I will give you.

  80. Thanks and praise God. For what you do?

  81. Jesus name that I pray. He man a man.

  82. You may be seated tonight. Jesus name, the death burial and

  83. Resurrection. Now, what?

  84. While it is true this evening and it's already been emphasized

  85. over and over again today that Jesus died and that he was

  86. buried. And that the Bible says that God

  87. raised him up the story. However, does not stop there

  88. though. That seems to be a primary focus

  89. and a goal for every believer, for everything one.

  90. That's ever been in the This, if you will of sin, the story does

  91. not stop. There.

  92. We emulate those steps of the death, burial and resurrection

  93. of Jesus Christ by obeying, the gospel through our repentance,

  94. through our baptism through, are receiving of the Holy Ghost, but

  95. this is not The end to settle back in our Laurel.

  96. So to speak. After are born again, experience

  97. is to misunderstand. Jesus is own Resurrection.

  98. The resurrection in and of itself was not the only climax

  99. in his story. Neither.

  100. Should it be the only climax in our story?

  101. We capitalize on the Passover or what is known.

  102. As Resurrection Day and we capitalize on a feast that

  103. happened. 50 days past that called Pentecost that we rally

  104. around as Pentecostals and Apostolic succession.

  105. We talked about Pentecost because it was the day in our

  106. estimation that the resurrection power was initialized in us.

  107. That what Jesus had happened to him at Passover was initialized

  108. Vietnam in US. On the day of Pentecost, the

  109. church, but there are some other aspects of his resurrection that

  110. we best not. Miss being Children of the most

  111. high God. The Bible tells us that Jesus

  112. was as I taught on Wednesday night.

  113. The first born, or the first begotten from the dead.

  114. In the sense that he rose from the dead into immortality.

  115. Amen? Others Rose as Mortals that

  116. would indeed die again. Not Christ Heroes as an immortal

  117. being never to die again. And so with this being said, the

  118. resurrection of Jesus is is about more than the Dead coming

  119. back to life. It is about the Dead coming back

  120. to life and continuing to live. It's about the Dead coming back

  121. to life and continuing to live. If if the Pentecostal Church in

  122. my personal estimation has failed in any area concerning

  123. the gospel, concerning the death, and the burial and the

  124. resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is in the fact that we have

  125. shared a have the dead can come to life, but we left them

  126. clueless about continuing to live victoriously.

  127. After they've been born again up the water and of the Be right.

  128. This is not me clicking. If you will, my timesheet

  129. saying, I've met the requirements of the three and

  130. now I can just settle back in my seat or in my home or in my save

  131. station and somehow just wait, patiently for the clouds to

  132. split. And the last Trump of God, the

  133. sound and I can just go and hope.

  134. No, no doubt folks. There is some living that goes

  135. on between the resurrection and the new birth of the church.

  136. And if that's the case for Jesus, that needs to be Be the

  137. case for those that are born again.

  138. Someone came in. I see in Scripture that Jesus

  139. didn't get up from the grave and then just go find some place of

  140. seclusion for the next 40 days that he was upon this Earth and

  141. just wait for his Ascension. He wasn't at home with his feet,

  142. propped up a men. Looking at the camels, going by

  143. just waiting for the time that he was to go up into the

  144. heavenlies. He wasn't twiddling.

  145. His thumbs. Amen.

  146. Just waiting to make his debut in the sky.

  147. So people could gaze at him and stare at him as he made his

  148. departure from the earth. Hallelujah.

  149. Someone say, amen. And if Jesus didn't spend his

  150. days after his resurrection like that.

  151. Neither should we, We Do. Some would say, Amen.

  152. Honey. What that means is this bishop.

  153. I don't need to either put myself in a place of seclusion

  154. and just be in the wings waiting.

  155. If you will for the last Jesus wasn't waiting for his Ascension

  156. and neither do I just need to be waiting around for the Rapture

  157. of the church. When the Trump of God shall

  158. skal. Ain't I don't want them to just

  159. be bystanders and say, there they go, but we haven't seen him

  160. for the past few days. Jesus arose from the tomb, he

  161. man, he walked among the people. He spoke with the people.

  162. He interact with the people. He didn't Miracles as he did

  163. before. Amen.

  164. He intermingled with the people. And the Bible tells me in the

  165. book of Acts that we've been in for a long time.

  166. Now, it tells me that Jesus after he resurrected shewed

  167. himself alive after his Passion, by many infallible proofs.

  168. Hooves being seen of them party days.

  169. And speaking the things that pertaining to the kingdom of

  170. God, what that means is this Jesus had some living even after

  171. the resurrection. There's more to this episode of

  172. Pentecost to life than just being born again.

  173. There's some living of the backside of your new birth

  174. experience. The Bible tells me First

  175. Corinthians 15. I'm unsure if I shared this

  176. scripture brother Zack, but if I didn't God bless me.

  177. Amen. First Corinthians 15 speaking

  178. about Jesus is activity in those 40 days.

  179. There was activity. Someone say Activity.

  180. There were things going on in the life of Jesus in those 40

  181. days. Yeah.

  182. The Bible says, First Corinthians 15 and verse number

  183. 1. Moreover Brethren the Apostle

  184. Paul writing, I declare unto you the gospel.

  185. Which I preached unto you which also ye have received and

  186. wherein ye stand by which also ye are saved.

  187. If ye keep in memory. What I preached unto you unless

  188. you believed in vain for, I delivered to use talking about

  189. the gospel here. You first of all, which I also

  190. received how that Christ died. There we go.

  191. For our sins, according to the scriptures.

  192. All right, and that he was buried.

  193. Yep. There we go, and that he rose

  194. again the third day, according to the scriptures.

  195. But he doesn't stop there. I've missed this all my life.

  196. I always just summed up the gospel in the death burial and

  197. the resurrection. But it's almost as Paul is

  198. including as part of the Gospel, not just the death, not just the

  199. burial and the resurrection, but the life that was lived after

  200. Resurrection, because he continues and says, and he was

  201. buried and that he rose again the third day, according to the

  202. scriptures and that he was seen of cephas and then of the

  203. twelve, and after that, he was seen about 500.

  204. At once of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but

  205. some are fallen asleep. He was also seen of James and

  206. then of the Apostles and last of all he was seen of me also as

  207. one born out of due time, the Apostle Paul was saying the

  208. gospel entails more than just repentance more than just

  209. baptism in Jesus name and more than the infilling of the Holy

  210. Ghost. The gospel also includes what

  211. you do with your life after you receive the Holy Ghost.

  212. Hey, babe. Hey man, it's so he explaining

  213. this to them. He men.

  214. He shoot himself Christ, shoot himself alive after his

  215. resurrection. It wasn't just enough.

  216. Amen. It wasn't just enough for Jesus

  217. to be up out of the grave and breathing and having respiration

  218. that was taking place. It wasn't just enough to have a

  219. Dakin tune. Amen.

  220. That everybody could point to and say, see he's not there

  221. anymore. Coaches show but the Bible says

  222. that he was seen among them. He was heard speaking among

  223. them. And by many infallible proofs.

  224. He substantiated the fact that he was the Living Lord and there

  225. was indeed an empty tomb. In so much.

  226. So even two generations later when the writer you Sidious was

  227. interviewed. He interviewed and had written

  228. concerning many people who had known this is documented

  229. history. If any people had known and had

  230. saw Jesus Christ during that 40 day period after his

  231. resurrection and they tell stories of Miracles that he

  232. performed even some sermons that he had preached and letters that

  233. he had written during those 40 days.

  234. After his resurrection, what? I'm trying to hammer home in our

  235. minds today, the idea of just being born again of the water

  236. and the spirit and we got our ticket and we just Buckle our

  237. seatbelts and it's all said and done.

  238. It's a bunch of baloney. I don't care how thin you slice

  239. it. It's still baloney.

  240. I'm here to tell you tonight. There is a life to be lived.

  241. Amen! Post-resurrection, post your

  242. experience with God. We need to figure out what our

  243. purpose is. We need to figure out what God

  244. would have us to do. We need to figure out Out as our

  245. days are numbered up on this Earth.

  246. What would God have me too? That think about this, this is

  247. convicting to me. But the last verse of the last

  248. gospel, which is the Gospel of John.

  249. He sums it up quite well because John 21 is actually some of the

  250. things that Jesus did in that 40 days.

  251. He says his John says, and there are also many other things,

  252. which Jesus did though, which if they should be written,

  253. everyone. I see.

  254. Pose that even the world itself could not contain the books.

  255. That should be written. Amen.

  256. It's hit me today. As my mind gravitated toward

  257. this verse of scripture. Perhaps.

  258. This is the way the off times. I have considered this verse of

  259. scripture that perhaps John was representing the whole Panorama

  260. if you will of the ministry of Jesus.

  261. Whenever he started his public Ministry after his Wilderness,

  262. testing until his Ascension, Maybe.

  263. I was saying from the time that Jesus started this ministry

  264. until he ascended, there could have been a whole lot more

  265. written in. Had it begun.

  266. The world itself? Could not contain the pages

  267. thereof. But today it hit me since this

  268. is chapter 21. And since this is some of the

    Isaiah 21 chapter mention

  269. things that happened in that 40 day period after Jesus.

  270. Rex erection, I'm just toying with the idea in my mind or

  271. could John had been saying and simply implying and that Jesus

  272. did so many things in those last 40 days.

  273. Jesus did so many things things in those last 40 days after his

  274. resurrection that even the world itself could not contain the

  275. books necessary to write what he did.

  276. After his resurrection. Someone say, amen.

  277. And with that consideration, I want to ask us all a very honest

  278. question here tonight. Have you done anything

  279. meaningful with your life in Christ?

  280. That's been worth recording? Or have you been stuck on being

  281. brought into this new life? And you failed to continue to

  282. live? What I'm saying is it's very

  283. easy to become enamored. With having been saved from

  284. death to the place. You're so enamored, you forget,

  285. or you put off the fact that you need to live.

  286. She for some people in the New Testament scripture and empty

  287. tomb wasn't enough for them. Testimonies of other people, you

  288. read your Bible in the gospels. I have this week.

  289. I've reread all the accounts of of the resurrection of the Lord,

  290. throughout the scriptures in the gospels and there's testimonies

  291. of other people that have come to people that believed in Jesus

  292. and believed in Christ, testimonies people coming to

  293. them and saying we have seen the Living Lord.

  294. And for those who had been Believers, that was not enough.

  295. Mary Magdalene. And some of the ladies, some of

  296. the women had been to the Sepulchre.

  297. They returned from the Sepulchre.

  298. They were commissioned by the angels that they had seen, the

  299. angel said, go tell the apostles and all the others that he is,

  300. not here that he is risen. And so Mary Magdalene and the

  301. ladies leave the Sepulchre. They go back to the apostles and

  302. the Bible says to all the rest of the group and they tell them

  303. he is not there. But Has risen.

  304. And this is their recorded response to their testimony and

  305. Luke 24, 11, and their words seemed to them as Idle tales.

  306. And they believe they're not. For those people, they needed

  307. something more than just the concept that a resurrection had

  308. happened. They needed to see the life that

  309. came after the resurrection. They needed more than the story

  310. about somebody that had resurrected from the dead.

  311. They needed somebody to live the resurrected life before them.

  312. It wasn't enough to know all that happened to them.

  313. No, I want to see a played out in my own eyes in our life that

  314. Consider, if you will, the convincing that this is the

  315. reason why we, there, there is something Beyond New Birth.

  316. There is something that is required that we need to do

  317. that. We need to engage him.

  318. Consider. If you will the two on the road

  319. to Emmaus after the resurrection two disciples on the road to

  320. Emmaus after the Resurrection May begin to talk among

  321. themselves. They describe everything that

  322. has happened. Jesus shows up while there.

  323. Often, they do not realize it is Jesus, but they, he shows up and

  324. they're like, what are you talking about?

  325. You don't know what we're talking about and he's just

  326. playing, you know, playing it all up.

  327. No, I don't know. Tell me about this.

  328. So man, they start rehearsing it all.

  329. Well, Jesus of Nazareth, they start to tell how he was

  330. condemned to death. They begin to tell Jesus about

  331. how he was crucified and how they thought, and everybody

  332. thought that Jesus was to be the Redeemer of Israel to bring the

  333. nation of Israel back where it needed to be and this is this

  334. amazing. Me, they're talking to Jesus

  335. while they're telling him all this and they said the top it

  336. all, this is the third day. Because the promise and the

  337. thing that was spoken is on that per day.

  338. He's going to rise again. But listen to me, they went a

  339. little further while they talk above all that.

  340. It's the third day and then they start talking about Beach.

  341. Ladies Mary Magdalene in those ladies said there was some

  342. ladies that come and relate their experience with the angels

  343. at the Sepulchre and they talked about an empty tomb and they

  344. told others about it and even some of the others ran to the

  345. tomb and they verified what the Ted said yet still there seems

  346. to be no impact. Nothing going on and the Bible

  347. says later that day, as they constrain the Lord still not

  348. knowing it was him to come into the house.

  349. That whenever he broke bread, their eyes were opened and they

  350. realized who it was. And whenever they seen that, the

  351. Bible says they returned to right back to Jerusalem to tell

  352. others. This is what they said.

  353. The Bible says, they told them the Lord is risen, indeed, what

  354. made that that so imperative to them now, rather than before.

  355. Because they had more than a story of the Resurrection.

  356. They had the life of a resurrected individual that

  357. lived and breathed and was seen right before their very eyes.

  358. Honey, they might know your story, but they need to see your

  359. life lived. They might have heard about what

  360. happened to you, but they need to see a live doubt.

  361. There's something beyond the resurrection.

  362. The reason why they went back and said indeed is because they

  363. had witnessed the life of the resurrected, Lord, right before

  364. their eyes. He shewed himself alive to them

  365. and they saw him and they heard him with their own ears.

  366. It wasn't a story being told by another, they had witnessed it

  367. for them self. See, Jesus, Jesus kept himself

  368. cloaked with purpose there for a moment with those two boys, but

  369. let's learn something from this tonight.

  370. Folks. From those to Emmaus, boys.

  371. It would serve listen to me as a church as people.

  372. That's been born again. It would serve our best interest

  373. and the interest. Listen to me in the interest of

  374. those that remain in the balance.

  375. On this new life thing on this, Holy Ghost experience.

  376. It would serve our best interest and their best interest.

  377. If we remove the cloak and make ourselves known to die

  378. generation. Because those boys whenever he

  379. made himself known and he departed, one looked at the

  380. other and said did not our hearts burn within us as he

  381. walked with us, but we didn't know he was the resurrected

  382. life. Honey.

  383. If you keep this thing cloaked up, you're going to rub

  384. shoulders with people and their hearts would have been within

  385. him and they're not going to know why unless you live the

  386. life of your Resurrection before them.

  387. That's something that's after all of this.

  388. So when he made himself known it removed all doubts, they said

  389. this is the life. This is he in deed.

  390. The Bible says, the Bible says that Paul back to our scripture

  391. setting. Philippians 3.

  392. He said that, I may know him. Here's this checklist.

  393. Okay. He then he then continues with

  394. his checklist that I might know him.

  395. Here we go. Power of his resurrection Chet.

  396. Paul was filled with the spirit. Holy God.

  397. Checklist, The Fellowship of his sufferings jet. 9A of spitting,

  398. the deep and Perils of my own countrymen.

  399. Forty Stripes. Save one, huh Tech.

  400. He said I bore my body, the marks, right?

  401. Check made conformable unto his death. admit baptism, check And

  402. then verse 11, if by any means, I might attain unto the

  403. resurrection of that. Now, Paul.

  404. What in the world are you do? You told us going through your

  405. checklist that I might know him and the power of his

  406. resurrection. You've received the baptism of

  407. the Holy Ghost and now you're saying if you might obtain my

  408. attain to the resurrection of the Dead, Paul, you, you've

  409. repented Paul, you you've been baptized and you've received the

  410. Holy Ghost, but you still say, if by any means you might attain

  411. and to the resurrection of the Dead, what in the world?

  412. I mean, you've done it. You have a ride.

  413. I mean, you're just waiting to walk through the Pearly Gates.

  414. You have the spirit of God in you.

  415. I mean, what more could there be?

  416. Now I understand tonight and I'm not going to I'm not going to

  417. get real trivial or earlier just dance back and forth over this.

  418. Understand on one hand, that the Apostle Paul may be talking

  419. about the resurrection of his body someday in the Rapture,

  420. that he's not yet attained, the resurrection of the Dead, He's

  421. not yet died and resurrected in a very physical since that, that

  422. his body someday and the Rapture.

  423. Amen will resurrect. But I also I am also very

  424. confident and I Is that Paul? Understood that the resurrection

  425. of the Dead isn't just about receiving the Holy Ghost.

  426. It's about as Jesus did showing yourself alive after the fact.

  427. Paul said, I've not yet attained.

  428. In other words, he says I got the Holy Ghost, but I've not yet

  429. attained. Paul had to write the gift of

  430. the. Holy Ghost was his birth

  431. certificate. Not as diploma.

  432. Hey, man, Paul wasn't perfect. He agreed that he wasn't.

  433. In other words. He's saying I'm not complete yet

  434. and the words he's saying there's a life to be lived after

  435. I've received the Holy Ghost. And then note the next phrase

  436. that Paul shares with us. And this should be our desired.

  437. This should be our mission, our mission of Discovery for every

  438. last single one of us sitting on the sound of my voice tonight.

  439. Listen to Paul's and x-rays here.

  440. He says, But I follow after yet that I met at every hand that

  441. for which also, I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

  442. He says, I follow after, it's in the next verses, Paul's going to

  443. go to his his race analogy about pressing toward the mark of the

  444. prize of the High Calling which is in Christ.

  445. Jesus. Our lord.

  446. He says, I'm going to follow after that.

  447. Means I'm going to run or I'm going to flee.

  448. I'm gonna run swiftly in order to catch a person or a Dang, it

  449. means that he's going to be engaged if you will.

  450. Figuratively in a race to swiftly reach his.

  451. Do, you know what? Paul understood?

  452. Paul understood that his born-again experience was more.

  453. Then essential and necessary steps for heaven.

  454. Here's where Taft. Paul knew.

  455. That Jesus had saved him here. It is on purpose for a purpose.

  456. And Paul was not satisfied until he caught the purpose for which

  457. Jesus had saved him. That's the reason why he says, I

  458. follow after. If I might apprehend or I might

  459. grasp that for which also, I am caught or grasped by Christ

  460. Jesus. And other words Christ saved me

  461. with a reason and I'm going to continue on the journey to I

  462. find out what the reason was he say.

  463. Me poor. That goes beyond your repentance

  464. that goes beyond, your baptism. That goes beyond your new birth.

  465. We got to come to terms with God.

  466. Why did you save me? What's my purpose?

  467. What's the reason? What are you want me to do after

  468. my resurrection? Someone say, Amen.

  469. I agree. Were all baptized by one Spirit

  470. into one body, but we need to be seeking out.

  471. What our purpose is in the body. If God Saint Paul with a purpose

  472. in mind, I am convinced that he is saying this all with a

  473. purpose. In mind.

  474. And in spite of, I don't care who they are, make tell you

  475. there are no unnecessary members in the body.

  476. Our repentance our baptism in our Holy Ghost and filling

  477. Brothers, Hank McGee, put us all in the body, but it's once we're

  478. in the body. We need to be seeking after that

  479. reason, why purpose God saved us for in the show and say, Amen.

  480. Sorry State a different way 11 version said like this, our task

  481. in life is to do this lay a lay hold of what?

  482. Lay a hold of that, for which Christ laid, a hold of us, lay

  483. hold of that, for which Christ laid, hold of us.

  484. And so, Paul here in the Philippian scripture has made a

  485. vow about himself about among the Philippians.

  486. This, that after I've experienced the resurrection

  487. power, after I've experienced the infilling of the Holy Ghost.

  488. I'm going to go on to go on living until I discovered

  489. Purpose that God has for me, the Apostle Paul.

  490. See, here's the thing. There'll be other blow Jose.

  491. It was sitting somewhere in a hut or a mud David building that

  492. they got the Holy Ghost and they're sitting there till the

  493. second coming of Christ. Paul says, but I know I'm not

  494. here without him. Want me here for a purpose and

  495. I'm not going to be satisfied till I figure out what that is.

  496. So I'm going to do some living on the backside of my

  497. resurrection. So he's going to live his life,

  498. trying to fulfill that purpose. He's going to follow after it.

  499. He's going to run after that go. He's going to run after that

  500. goal. What his purpose is columnist.

  501. Her obtained wrote in the San Francisco Chronicle.

  502. He said every morning. In Africa, a gazelle wakes up.

  503. It knows, it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will

  504. be killed. He said every morning, align

  505. wakes up and it knows. It must outrun the slowest,

  506. gazelle, or it will starve to death.

  507. He said it doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a

  508. gazelle. He said, but when the sun's

  509. comes up, you better be running. What I'm saying is this your

  510. purpose might not be my purpose. And my purpose might not be your

  511. purpose. But we all need to be involved

  512. in the Endeavor of trying to figure out what our purpose in

  513. one might be aligned. And another might be a gazelle.

  514. But whenever the new day comes, I got some living to do on the

  515. backside of my resurrection. Someone came in.

  516. So God has a purpose for you. And here's the thing, folks.

  517. The impact of your purpose is amazing, ROFL to those that are

  518. in need of the Assurance of the Salvation message.

  519. Your purpose is a measurable to those upon whom are counting on

  520. you. Bible says in Philippians 3 and

  521. verse 15. He goes on.

  522. He says, let us therefore as many as be perfect, you wasn't

  523. claiming to be perfect. But he says, as many as as be,

  524. it's something that we are going toward be thus minded.

  525. Doing what? Trying to seek out, what the

  526. purpose is for our lives. On the backside of our new birth

  527. experience. If anything, you'd be otherwise

  528. minded if anything, he'd be, otherwise minded, God shall

  529. Reveal even this unto you. He says, nevertheless.

  530. Whereto, we have already attained.

  531. Let us walk by the same Rule and let us mind the same thing.

  532. He said, Brethren be followers together, me and mark them,

  533. which walk. So as ye have us for an

  534. ensample. Listen to me to see.

  535. Oh, he's conveying the few things here.

  536. Number one. I believe he's conveying that

  537. one of the greatest frustrations to finding your purpose is

  538. mistaking. Someone else's purpose for your

  539. own. Did that make sense?

  540. Does that make sense? When the greatest frustrations

  541. in you trying to find your purpose is trying to adopt

  542. somebody else's purpose as your own?

  543. Because too often. I believe we assume our

  544. trajectory in our Christian experience.

  545. Post Resurrection will mirror the exact image of another and I

  546. Do by no means I Do by no means refute tonight, but there are

  547. some non-negotiable threads a similarity in all of our lives,

  548. but there will also be some nuances to that's just specific

  549. to your purpose and your purpose that God has saved to you for.

  550. Paul admonishes, the Philippians.

  551. This is important. Listen to me.

  552. Paul admonishes, the Philippians.

  553. He says you all. You want you want to get off

  554. track concerning what you should be doing.

  555. Post Resurrection. He said, then I admonish you to

  556. stray away from Civil War breaking out among you.

  557. Let me tell you a present day. Syria is a good indication.

  558. And Civil War has nothing but havoc and a cost to it.

  559. Here's what he says. He said, if there's some point.

  560. On which you see things differently.

  561. He said God will make it clear to you.

  562. That's what he said. You know what he said though in

  563. the meanwhile, let's go forward on the road.

  564. That's already brought us to where we are.

  565. He says rather than losing time and what we should be doing on

  566. the backside of our Resurrection.

  567. Because we see things a little differently than the brother or

  568. a little off from our sister. He said, let's continue.

  569. Traveling The Proven Road. That's brought us to where we

  570. are. He's telling me.

  571. So I don't want you boys to be getting held up over some petty

  572. differences among yourselves, because one perceives a thing as

  573. different way, or a particular way.

  574. He says for that matter, he says Don't need to be super imposing

  575. our purpose on other people. So not only can you get

  576. frustrated by trying to cling somebody else's purpose.

  577. You can frustrate other people by putting your purpose on them.

  578. Not everybody was meant to be a preacher.

  579. Not, everybody was meant to be a Sunday school teacher.

  580. Not everybody was meant to be a musician.

  581. But we all were meant to be prayer warriors, some Bible

  582. readers, and pastors and dedicated.

  583. There is a Common Thread, we all have nuances, but I'm not going

  584. to put my purpose on you. If you don't try to pull your

  585. purpose on me that we all that some living to do on the

  586. backside of our new birth experience.

  587. Just what I want you boys to do, is to continue to know this

  588. tried-and-true road. Hey, man, that brought us to

  589. where at rather than being stifled over these little

  590. points. If you will, these little

  591. subjective points and questions continue on this road of

  592. purpose. Now, it serves to reason, Paul

  593. seems to describe. That God would reveal it to

  594. them. Meaning this that God will give

  595. clarity as they continue to walk the road that brought them to

  596. where they are. Keep traveling this same away

  597. your because it's been faithful. And getting you to where you're

  598. at. And he finally says brothers be

  599. United if you will, he says, let's be United.

  600. Let's be followers together. Let's be United following my

  601. rule of life. In other words, take you, some

  602. models people that people that is modeled.

  603. If you will live in life after their new birth experience of

  604. finding their purpose, initializing that and living it

  605. out. Find you some people like that

  606. that you can model after that. You can study them.

  607. Don't follow these novices though.

  608. Don't listen to people. That that That that says all you

  609. don't have to worry about that and they're not engaged in their

  610. purpose. The last thing you want to do is

  611. follow somebody that's not found their own purpose yet.

  612. That bear on. Resurrection.

  613. You don't want to be somebody that setting in the house

  614. waiting for the Rapture because you've been born again.

  615. You don't want to follow that example.

  616. Do you want to find the example? Somebody that they're out there?

  617. They're trying to you know, what they're even failing sometimes

  618. but in the process each time, they're getting closer to what

  619. the reason why God saved them and it was more than just a have

  620. another number in the heavenlies.

  621. Someone said, sorry. I'll wrap this thing up and

  622. we'll put it in the Easter egg before we go home.

  623. Please listen to me in these just you as little moments here.

  624. The death, the burial, the resurrection now.

  625. I read in your hearing this. 18 and through 20 and I don't have

  626. that after parenthetically Paul Stakes for many walk of whom I

  627. have told you often and now tell you even weeping that they are

  628. enemies of the Cross of Christ. Who's in is destruction, whose

  629. God is their belly, whose glory is their shame?

  630. Who mind? Listen Earthly things?

  631. He says for our conversation is in heaven.

  632. And from whence also, we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus

  633. Christ Paul sums, all these things up by saying, this that

  634. there are genome Philippians those that are enemies.

  635. Of the cross. Of Christ.

  636. I want to point bring some clarifiers here for us tonight.

  637. The enemies of the Cross of Christ.

  638. Or not those that refuse to identify with him and

  639. repentance. Refuse to identify with him in

  640. baptism or refuse to be recipients of the infilling of

  641. the Holy Ghost. The enemies of the Cross of

  642. Christ, are the ones that have experienced the power of his

  643. death, the power of His burial and the power of his

  644. resurrection. But they live their lives,

  645. minding Earthly things and they don't live after they've been

  646. resurrected. In other words, they have

  647. availed themselves of the work of Christ, but they've not

  648. sought out their purpose. In Christ.

  649. Big not made no attempts. They are no Journey any race, no

  650. walking no furtherance to try to discover why God saved them.

  651. They squandered their time post-resurrection on meaningless

  652. things. They served their time

  653. post-resurrection on temporal. Thinks they are producing no

  654. infallible proofs about what's happened in their life.

  655. They're neither seen nor are they heard concerning?

  656. The things of the kingdom of God, as Jesus was after his

  657. resurrection. Their lives are consumed with

  658. the kingdom of this world. And Paul simply States,

  659. contrasting them to himself and what he desired Philippians to

  660. be. He says, but our conversation.

  661. Is it heaven? Are the enemies of the Cross.

  662. They want the gift but they don't want to seek out their

  663. purpose and they keep just Tethered to the Earthly and the

  664. worldly. He says we have the same

  665. experience, but we're seeking out our purpose.

  666. In our conversation is Heavenly things.

  667. Our conversation is Heavenly things because I understand

  668. there's a life to be lived after.

  669. After the resurrection. Forty days.

  670. After his passion, many infallible proofs seen and heard

  671. of him. I want.

  672. I want someday. Whenever I leave this earth.

  673. It not to be the first time that some has seen and heard and have

  674. had proof. That we were born again, of

  675. water and the spirit, my prayer is that when I leave this earth

  676. someday. I will have been just short if

  677. not have had my hand on the purpose of why God brought me

  678. into his precious body among his precious family.

  679. Whom do you don't know what your purpose is?

  680. Every day are seeking every day. Oh, but Pastor, you know, yeah,

  681. you know six plus years in evangelism and that your purpose

  682. your pastor. Now, you know, teach Bible says,

  683. let me tell you I'm constantly in search warrant.

  684. Punch the lien search for it. My question is, do you have

  685. anything recorded about how you've been in search of your

  686. compass? Because it's more than your

  687. repentance. It's more than your baptism.

  688. It's more than that. You have some living to do on

  689. the backside of your experience. You need to find your purpose

  690. was as I need to find that for which Christ apprehended me.

  691. I need to find that for which he every ended.

  692. Why why need to lay hold of the reason why he laid a hold of me?

  693. The death, the burial and the resurrection, but now what

  694. there's some living to do on the backside of our resurrections,

  695. if we could just bow our heads in this place.

  696. Thank you for listening. If you would like more

  697. information about our services and activities, you can find us

  698. on Facebook Instagram and Twitter with the username fac

  699. MC. Again, that's fac, MC.

  700. Thank you and have a blessed day.
