  1. Welcome to the first episode Church podcast.

  2. Our church mission is to love as God loves showing compassion

  3. Every Soul, thus, winning those souls and equipping them to be

  4. sent out to plant and to harvest.

  5. Thank you for joining us today. And we hope that you are blessed

  6. by today's podcast. One of Jesus said to his

  7. disciples Matthew 25 24, actually, the Lord was speaking

  8. about everything that was going to come about at the end of time

  9. at the end of the world. And they said Master how, how

  10. can we know that these things would be?

  11. Your what is it? What are the signs?

  12. What are we going to be looking for the first thing that he told

  13. them? He said, be not deceived said be

  14. not deceived because our our adversary is the master of

  15. deception a man and he said don't be deceived during those

  16. At times the times of the end times.

  17. And so we need to be alert but at the same time, we got to help

  18. others to see the truth, even to help others see the truth.

  19. And so we love the Lord, a man tonight if you're remain

  20. standing here this evening, we're going to go to the word of

  21. the Lord here this evening He-Man.

  22. And we're thankful for brother James Malone tonight.

  23. Amen. Were thankful for the years that

  24. he has been here with us and we're grateful for him.

  25. The a few weeks ago, he was gone due to just a purse.

  26. Trip and such and we were talking.

  27. I was talking really back in leadership prayer before church

  28. and said that a missed him and not just him but also the things

  29. that he just contributes to around here from by service to

  30. service, you know, leading us many times Opening Service and

  31. taking us to the Lord in prayer for people in need of it and and

  32. offering in all those things that you know just being on the

  33. opposite side of that same thing and that's not eat very much but

  34. it is, it really is. It's a very integral rho.

  35. Oh a man in placement within our services and I appreciate amen.

  36. His willingness to do that service after service after

  37. service. But he's going to come here

  38. tonight and he's going to speak to us with the lord has laid

  39. upon his heart, a man, and we're glad to each one of you are

  40. here. Glad for our guests that are

  41. here tonight. Amen as well.

  42. Amen. Let's just give an attention.

  43. If you will tonight to the word. Amy can we clap a hand into the

  44. Lord tonight? As brother, Malone, comes this

  45. evening and let's thank God. Amen, for him.

  46. Amen. So I tell you what, it's just

  47. really good to have those song Throwbacks.

  48. I know we kind of talked about it this morning and I tell you

  49. what, they just carried on in it and I'm good with it.

  50. They just bring back some memories.

  51. And and Pastor said well you know, when I'm not when I don't

  52. have to minister I can be a little bit more like liberal I

  53. guess. So he's able to he was able to

  54. get up here and sing. It is very good to see him back

  55. up here again and able to do that.

  56. Of course, when I always come to this Pulpit, I always want to

  57. give honor to pasture. Whether he's here or not, which

  58. more often than not, he's usually not here.

  59. But when he asked me to minister tonight, he said I'm going to be

  60. here. I'm gonna be there.

  61. So I don't know if maybe he heard my last time and he's

  62. like, you know what, I'm going to make you do it while I'm

  63. there this time. But he's here and he doesn't

  64. have to listen to it on podcast or anything gets to hear it

  65. live. Amen.

  66. And I appreciate everything that he does for me because he gets

  67. me out of my comfort zone. This, I'm going to be honest

  68. with you. This is out of my comfort zone.

  69. You guys know me. You guys know I like to talk but

  70. when it when everyone's just staring at me and I have to do

  71. all the talking and we don't get to conversate back and forth.

  72. It's a little bit different, it's a little bit like out of my

  73. comfort zone. And not only that, it's just

  74. ministering the word which takes on a whole new like fear for me.

  75. But, but I appreciate past, or not.

  76. And I've always said, and, I've told Brother Zach this, the

  77. other night that anytime Pastor asked me to do it.

  78. I'm gonna say yes. I don't know, it's because I

  79. know that there's a reason that he's asking me, especially even

  80. if he's here, that there's a reason that he's asking me,

  81. whether it's God speaking to him telling me to do it or just

  82. something that he feels that. All right, James, you have been

  83. a little bit of lakhs and I need you to do a little bit more,

  84. whatever he feels in his Spirit, but I appreciate him.

  85. I appreciate what he's doing? Of course, we talked about it,

  86. he does iron sharpens iron, and we just had it just this last

  87. Thursday and, and we don't get to have it every every month

  88. like we planned. But, but when we do get to, It

  89. is a vital intricate thing for me because just this last time,

  90. I was like, Pastor, why can't we have this couple weeks ago

  91. because it would have been a little bit more because just the

  92. information that he gave me kind of was very important for what I

  93. was getting ready to do today. Of course, I want to give

  94. honored of course, the rest of our ministry.

  95. Bishop is here tonight, sister. Maggie is here tonight, love and

  96. appreciate them. I love seeing them here.

  97. I know they hate missing here. I know we said last time that

  98. the, when they've been gone due to the Pain and not being able

  99. to be here and waiting on the surgery is the longest they've

  100. ever been out of church. And I know that they hate not

  101. being here and I appreciate them, and the Masons and, and

  102. what they do. And like I said, bring it in the

  103. songs, brother. Nathan, I love, you know, this.

  104. I know you've left kind of, like, gotten back a little bit

  105. more on the singing, But when you sing it just does something

  106. for my spirit. You just got a voice that just,

  107. I don't know. Just brings back those old

  108. memories because when I first came here, you were the only one

  109. singing with a little bit of help, but it just brings back

  110. and I just love to hear you sing.

  111. I appreciate you for like and I know you told us your vocal

  112. cords are stripped, but he's still getting up here singing

  113. and and I appreciate him for what he does.

  114. That is a sacrifice Sometimes sometimes we Overlook it because

  115. it is a talent that some of us lack and and it may come easier

  116. for others, but it is a sacrifice to do.

  117. What he does day in and day out, but I appreciate the ministry.

  118. I appreciate what they're doing for me and in my life.

  119. But while I have, you standing will go ahead and go to the

  120. reading of the word and I'll let you sit and we'll see where we

  121. go tonight. But my scripture, I want to

  122. start off with tonight. Is it crazy ass?

  123. These 3? This will be 1 through 8 and

  124. many of you have heard this. It's nothing new but it's a

  125. scripture that just kind of came to me and was something that God

  126. is just dealing with me with that.

  127. It says scripture, verse 1 says to everything, there is a season

  128. and a time to every purpose under the heaven.

  129. We know this a time to be born and a time to die.

  130. A time to plant and a time to pluck up that, which was planted

  131. A Time to Kill. And a time to heal, a time to

  132. break down, and a time to build up a time to weep and a time to

  133. laugh, a time to mourn. Born and a time to dance, a time

  134. to Cast Away stones and a time to gather Stones together.

  135. A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing a time to

  136. get and a time to lose a time to keep and a time to Cast Away a

  137. time to Rend and a time to sew a time to keep silence and a time

  138. to speak, a time to love and a time to hate a time of war and a

  139. time of Peace Ecclesiastes here is telling us that there is a

  140. time for Everything there. If you read through everything

  141. that there's a time for, there's nothing in your life that there

  142. is not a season and a time for. And and I want to minister just

  143. on this topic tonight. Just a little longer, just a

  144. little longer. Will you help me pray tonight?

  145. Lord, we love you. We praise.

  146. You got Lord, we thank you for what you're doing in the

  147. service. God for the sweet presence that

  148. I already feel in here. God, lord, we just ask God, that

  149. your hand would be upon this message.

  150. God, Lord, let it be Anointed God lord remove any air from my

  151. lungs. My lips.

  152. Got a lord though. It may come from a familiar

  153. voice to these people. But Lord, let it be your words

  154. that are spoken Through Me, Jesus.

  155. I thank you, God, for what you're doing and what you're

  156. going to do. And I'm going to give you all

  157. the glory that you so deserve in the name of Jesus, we pray.

  158. Amen. Amen.

  159. And you may be seated tonight. Just a little longer is is just

  160. a the title that came to me. I often talk and you know,

  161. whenever I'm told the chi come up with a messy or, you know,

  162. I'm asked a minister, I'm trying to think bouquet God, what do

  163. you want me to do? And and he like I said, he

  164. usually comes to me with a title, some little thought.

  165. And then I've just really kind of like got to expound on it.

  166. But this week Pastor came to me two weeks ago and asked me if I

  167. wanted Minister today. For me, that seems pretty

  168. rushed. But but usually the, you know,

  169. there's a problem, you know, it is there's there's there's it's

  170. okay, but but for some reason, this time, nothing was wanting

  171. to come into my head like, it's like, okay.

  172. Alright, there's no thoughts. There's no like I've, you know,

  173. jotted some stuff down. I didn't know if maybe I was

  174. going to have to go to the archives, break something else

  175. out. Like all right, I've already

  176. minister to let's let's brush the dust off of this.

  177. I didn't know what what I was needing to do but But I'm just.

  178. All right God, what do you want to do?

  179. And then this this I guess it was started last Sunday.

  180. My car was just making a sound. It was making a sound.

  181. I tell you and it did not sound good, I was in the parking lot

  182. and I was, I thought I knew what it was.

  183. So I was looking up a video right before service of how to

  184. fix it and brother, Mike was standing outside and and he

  185. heard my car and I come walking in.

  186. He goes, what are you trying to do?

  187. Start that thing? No, it was just running, it was,

  188. it was having issues. And I had Monday off of work, so

  189. I had Sunday, it was making noise.

  190. I had Monday off of work. I was like, all right, we're

  191. going to see what this problem is.

  192. I thought it may have been an idler pulley for anyone, that

  193. knows what that is. It's just, it's just something

  194. on the engine, okay? And I looked up a video, it

  195. didn't look that hard to change. It was fine.

  196. Well, okay, I had the day off and I'm like, all right, we're

  197. going to work on this, come to find out, it end up being like a

  198. water pump and so I get to looking at it and I've got that

  199. change the water pump while I'm in there.

  200. I change the idler pulley. Cuz it was bad to and you know

  201. when a car gets a lot of miles, there's stuff that's gonna go

  202. bad on it. Right?

  203. And so I changed the water pump. It was leaking, everything that

  204. was bad, change, the idler pulley.

  205. And then while we're in there, messing around.

  206. We look at the belt, the serpentine belt, which makes all

  207. those things go. It was dry rotted.

  208. It was cracked. It would had all kinds of

  209. issues, and I'm like, all right, all right.

  210. What, what else? You know?

  211. That's, that's the question we're not supposed to ask,

  212. right? But I get to looking at that and

  213. I'm thinking, man, that's, that's that that Bell was bad.

  214. For many of you know, like passages said, I had just gotten

  215. back over. Thanksgiving from a trip to

  216. Texas. That's a 14-hour drive there in

  217. a 14-hour drive back. So that's, that's a long haul,

  218. right? And as I look at the issues that

  219. my car was having like, okay, that was just a blessing in

  220. itself. All right, that God made God, I

  221. was able to get there, get back, nothing broke, that, that belt

  222. was just in bad shape and I didn't have any issues with it,

  223. but given what was wrong with it?

  224. I'm surprised I didn't have any issues with it, right?

  225. And so we get those things changed on money, I have The day

  226. off work. It was great.

  227. I was able to do that stuff, get it changed.

  228. And then when you know Wednesday my car just has a bad vibration

  229. in it. I'm like what in the world is

  230. this? So it gets and it kind of goes

  231. away. You go certain miles per hour

  232. and then it like it started to go a second.

  233. All right, well maybe it's fine. Well Thursday, it had the same

  234. problem and I was like, all right, I've had this vibration

  235. before when I when I've had the car before and and it end up

  236. being a caliper locked up on the left hand side.

  237. Well, I'm like all right I think I know what it is.

  238. It is, I get to work it, you know, it was vibrating and it

  239. was having issues. I get to work and I'm like, all

  240. right, I need to see because, you know, if it's a caliper

  241. locking up your wheels going to be hot.

  242. And there's a lot of heat that's there.

  243. And there's been many a cars that have caught on fire because

  244. the break is locked up. So, so I get down there.

  245. I start feeling around. I feel the left hand side, and

  246. I'm like, that's the one I'd change before.

  247. It's cold, it's good, nothing wrong.

  248. I go with the right hand side, I reach through the wheel, to feel

  249. the heat and I touched that rotor and I burned my finger.

  250. That that was. I had a locked up caliper so

  251. when you know Thursday, I get off work, I get to go to the

  252. auto parts store, get some more stuff and, and I get to change

  253. out account, a brake caliper. Get done with us.

  254. It's fine. I've done this before, it's no

  255. problem. But we can get in the mindset

  256. that it's really easy to get frustrated and get upset about

  257. when it rains it pours, right? Because that's what I do.

  258. That's what was happening to me. Write my car started having

  259. issues man I thought it was one thing then it was something else

  260. and in the first thing that was going to be a cheap fix.

  261. Well then the next thing is a little more expensive and you

  262. know, and then it just kind of snowballs from there and then

  263. the break locks up and I'm like, man, you know, it's just it can

  264. be easy but but I think it's all about perspective.

  265. Right. It's all about your perspective,

  266. I could get upset and I could get frustrated about my car

  267. having all these issues or I can look at it from a different

  268. direction. I you know like I said I just

  269. got back from Texas or was no issues and then they all get

  270. that they all issues snow pile. But I happen to have Monday off.

  271. Why did I have Monday off? Well, it was just a random day

  272. that I don't. If I don't use these days before

  273. the end of the year, I'm gonna lose them.

  274. So I was like, all right, I'll just take this Monday off.

  275. Well, it just so happened. I had taken this day off.

  276. And I had this time to change the parts because once I get off

  277. work, then I wouldn't have time because it wasn't a quick like

  278. five minute job. It was a pretty intense job and

  279. so I have the day off to make repairs and then you know

  280. Thursday I was able to make that repair.

  281. I was able to get the part that the auto store the auto parts

  282. stores had my parts. They had what I needed and it

  283. was fine and I think so long, right?

  284. So okay, but it had what I needed and so I was able to make

  285. the repairs myself and I was able to do it myself.

  286. And if I look at it from that direction, that that's just the

  287. financial blessing because it had any of this went out while I

  288. was driving to Texas, I would have had a tow bill, right?

  289. I would had to have be towed wherever I was.

  290. And if I was halfway between that six hours, one way, six

  291. hours, another way it just, it could have been a whole lot

  292. worse or and then I would have had to pay a mechanic to fix it

  293. because I wouldn't had any tools.

  294. I would have had any way of doing it myself, right?

  295. So if I look at it that way, then it was a financial blessing

  296. because I didn't have to Pay somebody else to do it so I can

  297. look at it is, oh man, when it rains it, pours all this man,

  298. it's costing me money. But if I look at it the other

  299. way man, it could cost me so much more I could have had to

  300. have somebody else do this, right?

  301. But I'm thankful that I can have that mindset but it's not always

  302. that easy. Because I can look at it now, I

  303. can think. Oh yeah.

  304. Well that's the mindset to have and I can I can do that but but

  305. it's not always that easy. Probably the worst thing that

  306. you can say to someone that is going through something or in

  307. the middle of a storm and the middle of a trial is just a

  308. little longer, who wants to hear that?

  309. I mean, seriously. Nobody wants to hear that when

  310. you're in the middle of a storm in the middle of a try.

  311. Hey, just a little bit longer. I know that it's real dark.

  312. It's been raining for a long time.

  313. I know that you have all these issues in your life.

  314. I know that you're battling migraines but just a little bit.

  315. Longer. I know, I know that you've been

  316. throwing up and now you're just dry heaving because you got

  317. nothing left to throw up, but just a little bit longer, you

  318. know, if I know you're in so much pain and you can barely

  319. even stand a walk or move but just a little longer, okay?

  320. That's the worst thing that you can say to someone, because they

  321. don't want to hear it right then because you're not going through

  322. what they're going through. It's easy to say just a little

  323. longer when you're on the other side and everything is fine.

  324. We want the storm to end. We want everything to be good.

  325. We don't want to know, Just a little bit longer, we want to

  326. know exactly when it will end. So we have something to look

  327. forward to. All right, we're looking at the

  328. 10-day forecast. All right, it's raining for the

  329. next three days, but in four days, we're going to have

  330. Sunshine. We're going to have a, we're

  331. going to have 80 degree weather. We want to look forward to

  332. something and just sleep through our pain, sleep through our

  333. trial, right? We don't know what, we don't

  334. want to know, what else can go wrong, right?

  335. Because in the midst of a trial and storm, in the midst of

  336. whatever it is, you have going on.

  337. On everything is going to go wrong.

  338. Nothing's going to go right? And and we know that that's the

  339. one question that you never asked in the middle of a storm

  340. in the middle of something. Is what else?

  341. Could go wrong. Yeah, just ask that in front of

  342. someone and they will let you know.

  343. It, don't ask that question because you will find out.

  344. Yeah, it's like praying for patients.

  345. You just it's something you don't do.

  346. That's that's one of the things you learn real quick.

  347. When you come around people that pray is like, don't pray for

  348. patience like what that sounds use.

  349. They said pray for everything. No, no.

  350. You don't want to pray for patience because God is just

  351. going to give you an opportunity to work that patients to try

  352. that place to get better and to have patience.

  353. That's so that's something you don't, you don't want to do.

  354. If it can become very easy to have a woe is me attitude?

  355. And feel like you're the only one going through, whatever it

  356. is, that you're going through, it's very easy, it's very easy

  357. to feel like nobody else knows because because you don't feel

  358. like anyone else can relate, right?

  359. Because a lot of times, you'll get some people that are really

  360. open about their problems. And they will share everything,

  361. but then, but the most of us, we don't want to share our

  362. problems. We don't want to share what's

  363. going on with us because we You know, that's just the way we

  364. are. We don't want people to know

  365. that we're hurting that, we're going through something that,

  366. you know, that we try when we're by ourselves at night, or we

  367. don't want them to know that that we're vulnerable.

  368. We want people to think that we're strong, but I'm here to

  369. tell you that you're not alone, no matter what the adversary is

  370. going to tell you, no matter what you're facing right now.

  371. You are not alone. You are in this with other

  372. people. And just like, not everyone

  373. knows what's going on in your life because you're not an

  374. oversharer, you don't know what everyone else is going through

  375. either. Because I think the majority of

  376. us don't want to burden somebody else with our problems.

  377. We think that our problems are just not that significant and

  378. that there are others that have it worse than you do, right?

  379. I mean I probably said that, right?

  380. That I might be in the midst of something, but that other

  381. there's people there's people that's worse off than me.

  382. You know? I just have car problems.

  383. There's somebody else battling cancer.

  384. There's somebody else that's dealing with homelessness.

  385. There's somebody else that doesn't know where they're going

  386. to get their food from tonight. There's somebody else that Is

  387. still looking for a job. There's somebody else.

  388. So my problems are not that small.

  389. We put a value on our problems because we think that somebody

  390. else has it so much worse, but that's how we think not God.

  391. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts.

  392. Isaiah 55 89, says, from for. My thoughts are not your

  393. thoughts. Neither are your ways.

  394. My ways saith the Lord for, as the heavens are higher than the

  395. earth. So are my ways higher than your

  396. ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

  397. So we should never never put limits on God, based on our

  398. thoughts. Hey man.

  399. We should never put limits on God based on our thoughts

  400. because his thoughts are higher than ours.

  401. Well we're going to do is we're going to make our God look like

  402. a human to us and we're going to bring him down to humanity

  403. standards and think that he doesn't have all the power that

  404. he has. That he can't do what he can do

  405. that. He can't heal Us in the middle

  406. of Arkham, and he can't take away the sickness in our life

  407. that he can't heal a joint that he can't do, what it is that he

  408. can do that. We know that he can do So, so

  409. God cares about you specifically, right, we can't

  410. put limits on God. God cares about you.

  411. Specifically, how do I know this?

  412. How do I know that out of all these people in all the world?

  413. God cares about me specifically. Well, Matthew 10 and 30 tells me

  414. says, but the very hairs of your head are all numbered my hairs.

  415. Are numbered mine, not yours. You don't know the number of

  416. hairs on my head, but God does he knows all that?

  417. Now, I know we joke about this all Time that some people are

  418. easier to count than others, right, I know we joke about that

  419. but in all seriousness in everybody over all the world,

  420. not just not caramel, not just L annoyed, not just the United

  421. States but the entire world that's billions of people that

  422. God knows every hair that is on their head.

  423. You specifically, God knows the hairs that are on your head, he

  424. cares about you, no matter what, no matter what the adversary is

  425. telling you, God cares about you.

  426. He knows you individually now are open in.

  427. Scripture says that there is a season for everything.

  428. And we know that no season lasts forever, but some Seasons last

  429. longer than others. Amen.

  430. Amen. Some Seasons.

  431. Last longer than others. And I think here in a little bit

  432. we'll find out why When we were in Good Seasons, we are not

  433. worried about how long they last amen.

  434. How many, how many really enjoy the winter that these ice cold

  435. temperatures that we have out here?

  436. When your hands are freezing? Your feet are freezing nobody.

  437. Nobody loves that go to. Okay.

  438. You know I'm just kidding, I do not love it, I do not love

  439. freezing cold hands. I like to be able to feel my

  440. hands and and I've said it often times, I'd rather be sweating

  441. then cold. So when Summer's here, that's a

  442. Season for me, when Summer's here, I'm not worried about how

  443. long it's going to last. I'm not worried about when it's

  444. going to end. I'm just enjoying the day.

  445. It might be 100 degrees outside but I'll say, you know what, I'm

  446. going to enjoy it anyway because I don't like the cold, we're

  447. going to continue, right? So some Seasons last forever,

  448. some are better than others and we're not worried about how long

  449. the Good Seasons last but I tell you when the difficult Seasons

  450. come along we get a little bit more I guess scrutiny on it a

  451. little more worried about how long it's going to last.

  452. All right. How many more days?

  453. How long is Is this going to last?

  454. But and it feels like it lasts forever, right?

  455. The summer the summer time. Feels like it goes by Toto too

  456. fast. All of our seasons are

  457. relatively the same three months apart.

  458. Right. You know, and I tell you what

  459. some are feels like it just goes so fast and then winter just

  460. feels like it drags on its. That's our good season and

  461. that's our bad. That's my good season of my bad

  462. season, but I'm going to let you in on a little secret that God's

  463. timing is not our timing. We want it.

  464. We want everything on our time, right?

  465. We want the seasons to last as long as we want them to last.

  466. We want them to go when they when we're tired of them.

  467. But God's timing is not our timing and he knows what is best

  468. for us. Whether we know it or not in

  469. that what Isaiah just told us that his thoughts are higher

  470. than our thoughts. He knows what's best for us,

  471. even though we don't because we are gonna, you know, we will

  472. think with our heart, we will think with our mind and we won't

  473. think with the Holy Ghost, which God has granted us and that is

  474. the thing that we need to lead us.

  475. He knows what's best for us. But when I am going through a

  476. difficult season and nothing seems to work from work in my

  477. favor, I'm always drawn to my man.

  478. Joe Nah. Now I don't know, I probably

  479. talked about Jobe a lot. I don't really know if I do or

  480. not because I don't go back and really listen to my messages,

  481. but I do know I do. I will say because I was looking

  482. through my notes. Last week, I'd are not last week

  483. last month because I did this last month last month.

  484. I didn't mention Joe and I didn't go into depth, okay?

  485. So you guys get to hear more about on tonight.

  486. But when I'm going through a trial, when I'm going through

  487. show, I like to go to job. Job is just somebody I like to

  488. turn to just because if you if you have not heard of Joe.

  489. Which I'm sure many of you has specially.

  490. If you heard me, like I said, but if you have not heard Joe, I

  491. encourage you to go and read the book of Job.

  492. I encourage you to read the whole Bible but but I do

  493. encourage you to read the book of Joe because I think when

  494. we're in the middle of a storm, when I remember in the middle of

  495. a trial, I think every one of us can relate to job.

  496. Now we do not have it near as bad as job if you have it as bad

  497. as job I am so sorry. I am sorry for everything that

  498. you are going through and and I will pray with you and I will

  499. try to be a better friend than his friends.

  500. Were you just? You just let me know.

  501. And I will, I will pray for you but Joe It was just a man living

  502. for God. We read we read about Joe.

  503. He was a man living for God. The scripture says that he was

  504. in fear of God, he loved him. You know, and women who speaks

  505. and fear it that's not and he was afraid of them, but it was

  506. in the respect, you know? And he had a, he had an active

  507. prayer life, he did everything right and he had a relationship

  508. with God. When you come to read Jobe you

  509. you will know that you'll find out.

  510. Job was wealthy. He had a good family.

  511. When he had farmland, menservants and maidservants

  512. job. If you think about a job, had

  513. everything going for him. I mean, how could you not like

  514. have a relationship with the Lord, right?

  515. I mean, he's wealthy, he's got Sons, he's got daughters.

  516. He's you know, when we read about Joe, he's been praying for

  517. his sons and daughters. This is how active of a prayer

  518. life he is. Because, in case his sons and

  519. daughters made a mistake, he's offering a sacrifice for his

  520. sons and daughters, not just him because he knows it, he's

  521. living, right? He's knows that he's done and he

  522. wants, That relationship with God, he has everything going for

  523. him, he has that camels. I mean, everyone's looking up

  524. them, he's got the family, you know, whatever it is.

  525. But even though job was faithful to God and he did everything

  526. right, he still experienced every kind of loss there is man

  527. if you read. Like I said, you read through a

  528. job, then, first two chapters is man, it's full of stuff.

  529. And I mean it starts to get into his friends and going back and

  530. forth with his friends and how they're just not so good but

  531. that's something else. But the first two chapters of

  532. job, you really hear about his life.

  533. And you really hear about him and you find out that he was

  534. good. He was faithful.

  535. He was just he did everything right, he did nothing wrong and

  536. really, and read the reason he went through a lot of this stuff

  537. is because God trusted and believed in him.

  538. Amen. So you might be going through a

  539. trial in your life, but don't think it's because you're doing

  540. something bad, or you got some sin against your life, God may

  541. be trusting you. The we often say that he will

  542. never. I give you more that you can

  543. handle, he knows what you can handle and he's the working on

  544. you. Hallelujah.

  545. So he experienced every kind of lost their was what a job lose.

  546. Let's just kind of give a little bit of a rundown, one, Joe blow.

  547. This is how it all started. He's, you know what first?

  548. He's living a great life, one day comes, and it's first, he

  549. loses his oxen, and his donkeys. And all the servants that were

  550. tending to them were all killed, but one all of his sheep had

  551. burned up when they said fire fell from heaven, all of his

  552. sheep and the servants that were tending to the Sheep all burned

  553. up. But one Camels his camel, I'm

  554. not laughing because this is terrible.

  555. But his camels were taking taken and all the servants that took

  556. care of the camels were killed, but one, then his seven sons and

  557. three daughters died and all, and they were having a big old

  558. party and like they had friends and people and everything there

  559. and everyone died there when the house collapsed, but one and why

  560. was it just but one and all this it was so that that one Could go

  561. and tell Joe about the tragedy that had just happened and the

  562. scripture tells us that while one was speaking while they were

  563. in yet speaking. The next one came with the next

  564. sad story. And then, while that one was

  565. speaking, the next one came with the next session with the next

  566. tragedy and then with the sons and daughters, I can't imagine.

  567. I like, what would he doesn't even have time to mourn or

  568. comprehend. The loss that has just taken

  569. place because he's being told about some other law said he is

  570. it. Experiencing.

  571. But what is Job's response to all of this?

  572. The Lord gives and the Lord takes away.

  573. Now, it's not now it's not necessarily that simple because

  574. Job 1 20 through 22. It doesn't just say, well, you

  575. know, the Lord gives the Lord takes away.

  576. No job one and twenty and through 22 says then job arose.

  577. Rent his mantle and shaved his head.

  578. We know that when people do that, they are in serious

  579. morning, it is not something that they're just like wake up

  580. one day. And you know what?

  581. I need a new hairstyle on a new wardrobe.

  582. This is something that they did there.

  583. Culture was serious morning that went on.

  584. He shaved his head. He fell down to the ground, but

  585. what did he do? He worshipped.

  586. That's amazing. That is something to be said

  587. about that. He continues in and it says, and

  588. said naked. I came out of my mother's womb

  589. and naked shall I return? Thither the lord gave and the

  590. Lord hath taken away blessed, be the name of the Lord.

  591. And then verse 22 says in all this job sinned not nor charged

  592. God foolishly boy. Oh boy.

  593. How hard would that be? To experience the amount of loss

  594. that he went through, I know that I've heard stories of

  595. people that lose a child or lose a loved one and they completely

  596. turn away from God because they blame God, for letting

  597. something. So tragic happened in their

  598. lives. Why could why could a god of

  599. Grace and a god of Mercy in a God, that loves me.

  600. Let this thing happen. They don't understand.

  601. And they turn from God, but job tells us that the Lord gives and

  602. the Lord takes away. We will never understand it as

  603. we said, and in Isaiah, will never understand it because his

  604. thoughts are higher than his, our thoughts.

  605. His ways are higher than our ways.

  606. We will never understand it. So, don't ever think that you

  607. can think with your human mind that you will understand God and

  608. why things are happening. So, when somebody asks you, why

  609. is this bad thing happen in the world?

  610. I don't know, but God does and I choose to believe in him because

  611. he has a plan and a purpose. And, and it's not for me to

  612. decide because I will not make the right decision.

  613. I will not know what What's right?

  614. But God knows what's right. And I choose to believe that he

  615. has got a plan and a purpose. Hallelujah.

  616. But he didn't stop there. He lost everything.

  617. And then his said and everything and he said, not.

  618. So that's everything that everything, that's everything he

  619. has, but we know that then Satan goes back and talks to God and,

  620. you know, again as like, you know what, he lost everything,

  621. but, you know, okay, that's fine.

  622. That's just her worldly possessions, you take away his

  623. health and he's going to curse you in an instant, right?

  624. We know this, if you've read the, if you read the story, you

  625. know this. So then he lost his health.

  626. He had sore boils from the soles of his feet to the top.

  627. Top of his head, it didn't matter.

  628. If it was on the bottom of his foot, the back of his calf is

  629. bottom side. His back, his head, his ears,

  630. whatever it was, he had sore boils all over so bad that he

  631. was taken a tool that you would use for.

  632. I don't know what, but it's not for what he's using it for

  633. trying to scrape them boils off. Could you imagine the pain that

  634. he is in that he's able to endure the scraping of the

  635. boils? This great this pain that he's

  636. having to endure just because he thinks it is going to get some

  637. relief from scraping with this. That is pain that is hurting,

  638. but on top of that to top it all off, then his wife comes along.

  639. He's going through the hardest thing, that probably anybody in

  640. their life ever has to go through and the one person that

  641. is supposed to comfort him that's supposed to love him.

  642. That's supposed to speak a word of encouragement into his life.

  643. When he is down, that is supposed to lift him up, when he

  644. can't do it anymore, his wife, his spouse.

  645. Tell him to curse God and die. But still, Joe did not said he

  646. wasn't gonna listen to her, he wasn't going to trust in her.

  647. He says that she's as, as the other women that don't

  648. understand that don't, they're just lacking Faith.

  649. They don't believe. This is truly amazing.

  650. And there's something to be said about that, that woman, that

  651. Satan left alone, because he thought Satan thought that he

  652. was doing a work by leaving this woman and often in the end.

  653. I think the last time I talked about, I said, you know, Satan

  654. got it right by leaving her because he she spoke doubt into

  655. his life, told him to just Curse God, but we'll find out that in

  656. the end. That very that same woman that

  657. Satan Left Alive. Birth seven Moore's, attend more

  658. children, seven more sons and three more daughters and Joe was

  659. able to have a blessed life because Satan didn't take that.

  660. One thing, he thought he was causing a curse to Joe by by

  661. leaving her alive and ends up. God, will God will use it for a

  662. blessing. So, so, just a spoiler alert

  663. here. If you have not read job in the

  664. end, the Lord gives job twice as much as he had before.

  665. Now, if you re job, you know, that he had a lot to begin with.

  666. And so when it when he gets double the portion he's got

  667. thousands upon thousands of The Oxen of the donkey's of the

  668. camels of the sheep of the you know, and then he's got more

  669. servants and then he gets the seven sons and three daughters

  670. fact that he lost. And in the scripture tells us

  671. that he dies being old and full of days.

  672. It said that he got to, he got to watch his son, I think it's

  673. 140 more years after after he goes through this trial.

  674. After he goes through the storm, he lives another 140 years and

  675. gets to see his sons. His son Sons, and his sons, Sons

  676. his grandchildren. He gets to see them be born and

  677. be raised and and have a great life all because he continued to

  678. trust in the Lord. He continued to send them no

  679. matter my circumstance, no matter what I'm going through.

  680. Yes, I experienced loss but God, you are still great.

  681. You are still Mighty, you are still the provider, and I still

  682. worship you and praise you. Hallelujah!

  683. We can look at the life after joke, storm and think, yes, that

  684. would be nice. I would love to be blessed by

  685. God just like Joe. I would love to have my my

  686. resources doubled. I'd love to have the the

  687. grandchildren and be able to be in good health and and live days

  688. and you know, pass away being old and full of days, you know,

  689. he didn't die of being stalked trampled.

  690. An animal or someone else taking his life.

  691. He was old and full of days, he died of old age, he got to

  692. experience life, something, that that Satan thought he was going

  693. to take from him and he got to experience in the latter part of

  694. his life. Hallelujah.

  695. Praise God. I thank you.

  696. Jesus. But we have to look at what job

  697. endured to get there. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't

  698. want to go through everything job went through it.

  699. There's no way in my life that I would want to go through that

  700. just to experience the blessings that job had.

  701. But it does help me to understand that, I too can get

  702. through whatever storm that I am in.

  703. If job can get through losing everything that he had.

  704. Because we come to find out that his friends weren't even really

  705. friends in the moment either because they tell them.

  706. Well, you know what, you actually must have sent.

  707. You must have done something wrong.

  708. There is no way that all of this is going to befall you without

  709. you doing something, so they didn't believe him.

  710. So it just ended up being more negativity into his life than

  711. what he really, so he end up being by himself for the the for

  712. the good portion of his storm. He had nobody else to rely on so

  713. it helps me to understand that. I too can make it make it

  714. through a storm. Joe could have easily said you

  715. know what, I can't take it anymore but he didn't, he

  716. continued to praise the Lord and after even lost everything he

  717. worships he worshiped the Lord because he held on just a little

  718. longer right because he didn't give up, he had to continue to

  719. hold on because he hold on just a little longer.

  720. He was able to see the blessing. I'm here to tell someone tonight

  721. just a little longer that thing that you don't want to hear in

  722. the middle of your storm that little phrase.

  723. That just might send a little nerve in your mind and your body

  724. that says don't talk to me like that.

  725. I don't, I don't want to hear that.

  726. Just a little longer. If you give up now, you may

  727. never see the blessing. That is waiting for you.

  728. If Joe gave up in the middle of storm, he never would.

  729. If he would have went ahead and curse.

  730. God, like, his wife had told him to, he would have, never have

  731. gotten to experience his grandchildren experience.

  732. His children being raised again experience, you know, everything

  733. and being dying of old age. He would have never got to

  734. experience that again if he had just given up, so don't give up.

  735. I know that's easier said than done right words.

  736. Talk is cheap as they say actions speak louder than words.

  737. We can go with all the phrases, right?

  738. But James, of course, we know the Book of James and I like

  739. James, he's got a good name, you know?

  740. But but but there's just something to be said but I don't

  741. know. He's kind of he's a he's a cool

  742. dude, I guess but James one makes it sound really easy.

  743. Because if we read James 1 2 through 4, it says my brethren

  744. count, it all joy boy. Oh boy, when you fall into

  745. divers Temptations. Knowing this that the trying of

  746. your faith worketh patience, but let patience have her perfect

  747. work that ye may be perfect and entire wanting nothing.

  748. Right. So he doesn't say, he doesn't

  749. just stop at count. It all joy, when you fall into

  750. divers Temptations. He doesn't stop there.

  751. Although, you know, if we, I think we quote that often times

  752. and you know someone's going in going through something and

  753. you're like, count it all joy. You counted all the, you know

  754. what? You just just smile just smile.

  755. That's all you have to do. It's really simple.

  756. Okay? It because it doesn't matter

  757. what's going on man. It's so easy to tell somebody

  758. that like I said earlier, when you're on this side of it, when

  759. Not in the middle of a storm because, you know, you've been

  760. through your own battles, you've been through your own trials.

  761. That is something you don't want to hear, because it does not

  762. sound very easy at all. That's the last thing you want

  763. to do. But I tell you what, I like the

  764. way the message version words, this James James 1 2 and 4 in

  765. the message, sir. And the message version says

  766. consider it a sheer gift. Aw, it's Christmas time, we like

  767. gifts, consider it a sheer gift friends, when tests and

  768. challenges come at you from all sides.

  769. And boy, does it feel like they do?

  770. You know that Under Pressure? Your faith life is forced into

  771. the open and shows its true colors.

  772. So don't try to get out of anything, prematurely let it do

  773. its work so you become mature and well-developed not deficient

  774. in any way man. the message version has a way of putting it

  775. in layman's terms for us to understand, because the thing

  776. that sticks out to me, Is don't try to get out of anything

  777. prematurely. Amen.

  778. You guys can go ahead and stand with me for musicians.

  779. Can come says, don't try to get out of anything prematurely

  780. Because like I said earlier, when we are in a difficult

  781. season we just want it to be done and over with, we're not

  782. worried about a lesson that we're going to learn.

  783. We're not worried about how much stronger it's going to make us.

  784. We're not worried about what's going to come next after that.

  785. That I need to be ready for. We just want this storm because

  786. I don't like being uncomfortable.

  787. I don't like the pain that I feel.

  788. I don't like the sorrow in my My soul.

  789. I don't like the battle that I'm facing, whatever it maybe, I

  790. don't like it. I just want it to be over.

  791. But if we rush through that season just as the James said,

  792. if we rush through that season, we may not be a stronger

  793. prepared for the next difficult season that is inevitably going

  794. to come because we know that no season lasts forever.

  795. We done talked about that and that every season it's going to

  796. come to week. We have four seasons, right?

  797. You're going to experience every season, sometimes we experience

  798. all four seasons in a day here in Southern Illinois.

  799. And and I mean, sometimes in our walk with God, we may experience

  800. that too. Amen.

  801. But if we rush through that season, we're not going to be

  802. ready for that next season to come along.

  803. We may not be mentally strong for the battle.

  804. We're getting ready to face we. Now we may not be physically

  805. strong for what's getting ready to come at us.

  806. So wait, just a little longer, God has a plan and purpose for

  807. each and every one of us know, all of our plans and all of our

  808. purposes are not the same. You are not meant to do what I'm

  809. meant to do, and I'm not meant to do what you're meant to do,

  810. but we are all one body. We just as the body has many

  811. members, we are all one body, you can be a toll.

  812. I can be a the small toe that just seems to be little to

  813. nothing but we all want part and we don't want to be lacking any

  814. part of the body. We are all in some season of

  815. life right now because the Bible says to everything there is a

  816. season, we are all in some season right now.

  817. Some of us may be in the same season.

  818. Some of us may be going through the same thing right now.

  819. Some of us may be experiencing a loss at the exact same time.

  820. Some of us may be facing some mental battle you know

  821. depression whatever it may be. We may be facing that but of

  822. course we don't share those things.

  823. Or you may have gone through a battle that somebody else is

  824. going through right now. And that you are there to get

  825. them through that battle. Amen.

  826. This altar is open tonight. For any who will?

  827. I just want to encourage someone not to give up the adversary is

  828. going to. He's going to try and discourage

  829. you any way that he can to just give up that.

  830. No matter what you do. You have gone too far, you have

  831. done too much sin in your life. There is no sense in even

  832. repenting because it's not going to make any bit of difference.

  833. It doesn't matter what God did on Calvary.

  834. It doesn't matter for the blood that was shed because you are

  835. not worthy of the Salvation that he is trying to give you.

  836. But just a little longer, You Are Not Alone.

  837. No matter what the adversary tries to tell you, you are not

  838. alone. Your blessing is on its way.

  839. If you hold on just a little longer like Jobe.

  840. Your blessing is on its way. It may not be financially.

  841. It may not be what ever, you know?

  842. However, it is, it may be just a mental blessing, that's coming

  843. your way. It may be some relief in your

  844. spirit. It may be a renewal of the Holy

  845. Ghost and maybe just just something that nobody else is

  846. privy to. But your blessing is on its way

  847. Trust and Believe. Even the Lord that he has what

  848. you need. Hallelujah.

  849. Can we just talk to the Lord right now?

  850. Lift up your hands, and just speak to him.

  851. He has a plan and a purpose for your life.

  852. God, we thank you for your word, Lord.

  853. We thank you for your message. God Lord, we thank you for what

  854. you have spoken God into our lives.

  855. God lord, I want to hang on just a little bit longer.

  856. God, I don't want to give up right now in the middle of the

  857. child, in the middle of the storm in the middle of whatever

  858. I am. I'm going through because I know

  859. God, my blessing is on its way. I know God that you have a plan

  860. and a purpose for me. God lord I will hang on just a

  861. little bit longer God in Jesus name help.
