I've forgotten anything. We'll catch it up.

We'll catch it up somewhere along the way.

I know originally we were to start criteria for finding a

mate tonight and whenever I was here Sunday, Sunday night, I was

going to start what I'm starting right now tonight.

So I'm just shifting all of this over on Wednesday night and I'm

going to talk about the election for the next three Wednesdays.

All right? I did this in 2012 and 2016 and

I don't know why I didn't do it in 2020 unless it was the grand

COVID era that maybe who knows if we was even.

I can't even remember if we were here.

You know, I know there's some different times we had to shut

down and such, but I'm not sure why.

But going to do this, as I said, you know, election is a very

spiritual thing. I know it's like I'm feeling

anything but spirit right now. I'm feeling a spirit, but that

is a very spiritual thing. God talks about raising, raising

up, pulling down the people that serve in capacities like that.

Here's the thing, God can do anything he wants all by

himself, but he allows us as you made it, to be a part of many

processes that he does, whether it's a miracle that's performed

for somebody. A lot of times he uses an

individual whatever there's there's a there's so many things

that God could do by himself, but he employs us in the process

to be a part right. And so that's where we're at

tonight. I'm just going to read 1

Scripture, just kind of a springboard.

I'm not like really delving into the scripture teaching around

the scripture. The first phrase is really for

us tonight, Hosea four and six. My people are destroyed for lack

of knowledge because thou has rejected knowledge.

I will also reject the thou shalt be no priest to me seen

thou hast forgotten the law of thy God.

I will also forget thy children. My people are destroyed for a

lack for a lack of knowledge. All right, Amen.

I'm going to pray the Lord help us next little while I feel I

feel like I have a lot of ground to cover.

Maybe it won't be as bad as what I think that nonetheless, Jesus

I love you tonight. I'm thankful Lord Jesus to be

here. I pray God you're able to give

us wisdom and knowledge understanding God going forward.

Lord, as we enter Lord Jesus this time frame, Lord in our

Lord country, God, I pray Jesus yell to help us, direct us and

help us the Lord God to the Lord do according to your purpose.

And we, O Lord Jesus, for things to unfold here in the near

future in the name of Jesus Christ and I pray Amen.

You maybe see the night Jesus name.

So interestingly enough, back in 2016, whenever I did an election

series, I started out every time the three times that we had a

session, I prefaced it by saying a church cannot endorse or

oppose a political candidate, XYZ, etcetera, etcetera.

But that was based upon an old Johnson amendment that was named

for Senator Lyndon Johnson of Texas, who put all that into law

back in 1954. And it sometimes restricted tax

exempt organizations, which a church is, and religious

organizations from endorsing or opposing candidates for elected,

elected offices. However, and this is just for

you, all right, tonight, for your awareness, I'm still not

going to endorse per SE, a candidate or anything here

tonight. But all of that has really

changed. There's been an executive order

since then called Promoting Free Speech and Religious Liberty

that was actually signed by President Donald Trump on the

National Day of Prayer of May the 4th of 2017.

That in Section 2 of it, it said it states all executive

departments and agency shell to the greatest extent practical

and to the extent permitted by law, respect and protect the

freedom of persons organizations to engage in religious and

political speech. As a matter of fact, the Liberty

Council published an article dated September the 21st of 2020

stating this. This was just in 2020, said the

chairman of the Federal Election Commission recently reaffirmed

that nonprofits, including churches and religious leaders,

can't engage in political speech, endorsed candidates and

host them on church property. So things have changed since the

last time I did this. A church wouldn't be able to

endorse a candidate. I wouldn't even be able to

endorse a candidate behind a pulpit.

But this new executive order really allows all that.

But I'm not going to do it, OK? But I do have the allowance if I

wanted to tell you who I was hoping for right here from the

pulpit and so and so forth. But I'm not going to do that.

But that allowance is there or a snail.

As a matter of fact, the Liberty Council published an article

dated in September 21st of 2020 also stating that not only did

he reaffirm that, but in Section 2 of the order that President

Donald Trump put in back in that year of 20, whatever it was 17.

That in particular, the Secretary of Treasurer shall

ensure, to the extent permitted by law, that the Department of

the Treasury. Treasury does not take any

adverse action against in the end in the individual because

years ago if a church did do that, they could use their lose

their tax exempt status. And Arias, that is not the case

anymore. Amen.

According to these new laws, the House of worship and other

religious organizations are protected as a result of that.

And so with that tonight I want to talk to us a little bit about

the election. And the way that I do this is

that really I talk about issues, all right?

I talk about issues and I talk about issues from a biblical

perspective and then I share with you what the support or non

support is of those that are running for candidacy where they

are and based just just tell you where they support something or

not support something. But I just basically give you

information. A great book I read many years

ago, it seems like now is what would the founders say?

I recommend it to anybody that's interested in reading.

If you're not, listen to it on Audible.

I don't know. But nonetheless, what would the

founder say? Basically, what would the

founder say about where we are as a country right now or how we

view the Constitution of the United States compared to what

their intent of writing was? And so the author said this.

It helps when you are lost to find out where you made the

wrong turn. But if you don't know where you

started, how can you discover where you went off course?

The best way for America to find its way again is to return to

the ideas and principles of the founders.

Most of us probably know this if you're a history buff, maybe

even to the thickness of your fingernail, that Thomas

Jefferson had had been in the Continental Congress for about a

year, and he was chosen by his elders to write a document.

Anybody know what that document was?

Maybe not. On June 11th, 1776, Thomas

Jefferson begin to pin a document that is should be dear

to each and every one of our hearts.

And it was just finished a few weeks later.

And so there were some very brave men and then some

patriots. All of them pinned their

signatures to this document. Basically what seemed to be like

pinning their name to a death warrant for their lives.

Many of them did face sometimes some of them abusive deaths

really over their association with this thing.

And so he wrote this document, as we know to be the the

Declaration of Independence at the same time, July 4, 1776,

King George the Third was across the seas.

And so here is British King George the Third.

He wrote his diary on this exact same day, separated from the

United States. These words in his journal,

nothing happened today. Nothing happened today.

Maybe so in Britain, but in America, we know undoubtedly

that something that did happen, it wasn't just another group of

people that's breaking away from the British Empire or struggling

to become a nation, but there was something glorious that

happened on this day, that Declaration of Independence.

Jefferson would later become our 3rd President of the United

States of America. And he believed as others

believe, that what happened on the nation's Independence Day

was more than as the king over Britain thought was happening in

his world. It was more than nothing.

It was a manifest destiny for this new nation that we now get

to hundreds of years later to, to be a part of.

And so the fact of the matter is this, our, our nation has been

and always will be imperfect. But I still believe this is

personal belief that we live in one of the greatest nations of

the world. And so it's going to be

imperfect because anything, folks, anything, please listen

to me. Anything that's made-up of

people will always fall short of perfection.

Churches, organizations, the place where you work, your

church, your family, anything that's made-up of people will

always fall short of perfection. Even the man who wrote these

words, Thomas and Jefferson, that all men are free, endowed

by their creator with certain inalienable rights, that among

them are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Thomas Jefferson was not perfect.

It's a matter of fact. History tells us that he was a

slave holder, and it seems that he even fathered some children

from some of those slaves that he had.

But we must remember this among all the imperfection of humanity

and who we are and who we are not and what we lack, that God

still has a perfect way. The Bible says in Psalms chapter

Psalms 18 · chapter mention

18 and verse 30. For As for God, His way is

perfect. The word of the Lord has tried.

He is a buckler to all those that trust in Him.

James when he was writing the book of James describing God, he

said in whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning again

to under score the the his his ability not to change right, his

ability to stay the same. A French statesman, Alexei du

Tuqueville, wrote a book called Democracy in America.

He described America's exceptionalism.

And so the statement I'm about ready to share with you was not

in that book. But this statement and quote has

been attributed to him for some 150 or more years.

He said in the end, the state of the Union comes down to the

character of the people. I sought for the great.

This is such a poetic thing to me, so pardon me for a moment,

He said. I sought for the greatness and

genius of America, and her commodious harbors and her ample

rivers, and it was not there in the fertile fields and boundless

prairies, and it was not there in a rich mines and her vast

world commerce. It was not there.

Not until I went into the churches of America and heard

her pulpits, a flame with righteousness, did I understand

the secret of her genius and power.

America is great because she is good.

And if America ever ceases to be good, America will cease to be

great. There was another individual.

He was an English historian. His name was Edward Gibbon.

He was a member of Parliament. He was looking at the demise of

the British Empire, right? He's in this situation.

He's in this context. He's looking at their demise.

And as he was looking at their demise, he wrote a book called

The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire.

So he's really reflected on the Roman Empire way.

He's looking at the decline of the empire that he was a part

of. And so the first volume,

interestingly enough, was published on February the 17th

of 1776 and given day five reasons for the decline of the

great Roman Empire. And these are these five.

And I think it's important to reflect on them as you reflect

on your America. The rapid heat, these are the

reasons for decline, he said of the Roman Empire.

The rapid increase of divorce, the undermining of dignity and

the sanctity of the home, which is the basis of human society #2

he said one reason for decline was higher and higher taxes and

the spending of public money for free bread and circuses for the

populace. Entertainment #3 He said the mag

craze for pleasure sports becoming every year more

exciting, in his case with all of the gladiators and things of

that nature more brutal. The reason #4 the building of

gigantic armaments when the real enemy was within.

The decadence of the people #5 the decay of religion, faith

fading into mere form, losing touch with life and becoming

impotent to guide the people. He said those were the five

reasons that the empire of Rome fell.

I think it's good to consider those same reasons when we think

of America, when we look at our world today, America, we were

founded at least and we'll look at that just a little bit.

I think with a, a center point or at least a compass of a

judeo-christian type of values and ideas.

President Obama said in a speech of June 28th, 2006.

He said whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian

nation, at least not just. We are also a Jewish nation, a

Muslim nation, a Buddhist nation, a Hindu nation and a

nation of non believers. We understand that the religious

freedoms of the United States of America does generate people of

all different type, not just nationalities but religious

beliefs to come to her border to be able to exercise the

religious freedoms. Obama even said in 2009 while he

visited Turkey. He said we have a large

Christian population, but we do not consider ourselves a

Christian nation. What's interesting about that?

I said those words in 2016. I looked up some other stuff

that's more current and recent. And a 2023 survey by the Public

Religion Research Institute found that about 10% of

Americans strongly support the idea of the United States being

a Christian nation. I want you to ponder that just

for a moment. 10% of Americans strongly support the idea that

America is a Christian nation. And so although that is the

case, let's go back if we say, if we can, to what maybe some

people closer to the founding of our nation had to say, all

right, some of the prior presidents.

Washington's farewell address, he stated, where is the security

if the sense of religious obligation desert the oaths?

And let us with caution indulge in the supposition that morality

can be maintained without religion, reason, experience,

both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in

exclusion of religious principle.

John Adams said the general principles on which the Fathers

achieved independence were the general principles of

Christianity. John Adams said also he

contended in the 1798 while President, he said our

Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people.

It is wholly inadequate to the government of any order.

Thomas Jefferson. Again, he said, no nation has

ever existed or been governed without religion, nor can be the

the Christian religion is the best religion that has been

given to man. And I, as Chief Mag Magistrate

of this nation, I'm bound to give it the sanction of my

example. Theodore Roosevelt said the

teachings of the Bible are so interwoven and entwined with our

whole civic and social life that it would be literally impossible

for us to figure ourselves what life would be if these teachings

were removed. Woodrow Wilson said America was

born a Christian nation. America was born to exemplify

the devotion to the elements of righteousness which are derived

from the revelations of the Holy Scriptures.

Herbert Hoover, another president, said American life is

builded and can alone survive upon the fundamental philosophy

announced by the Savior 19 years ago.

From the day that Hoover said this, Harry Truman said this is

a Christian nation. More than 1/2 a century ago,

that declaration was written into the decrees of the highest

court in this land. Richard Nixon said let us

remember that as a Christian nation, we have a charge and a

destiny. Again, the author of What would

the Founder say? He said while the 1st Amendment

does provide for freedom to worship any religion, there's a

little doubt that the Founders all assumed the United States

was and always would be a Christian nation and that

religious freedom constituted the freedom to worship any

Christian faith, not any faith in general.

This goes years ago. Is everybody doing OK?

I ain't got a lot of ground to cover.

Justice David Brewer From 1837 to 1910, according to the

Supreme Court Justice David Brewer, America was, of all

nations in the world, most justly called a Christian nation

because Christianity has so largely shaped and molded.

If there was a constitutional law professor, his name was

Edward Mansfield. Again, in the 1800s he

acknowledged something also, something very similar.

He said in every country the morals of the people, whatever

they may be, take their form and spirit from their religion.

For example, the marriage of brothers and sisters was

permitted among the Egyptians because such had been the

precedent set by their gods. So to the classic nation

celebrated the drunken rites of Bacchus.

Thus to the Turks has become lazy in the nerve, because

depended upon fate as taught by the Koran.

And when in recent times there arose a nation such as France,

whose philosophers, Voltaire and otherwise discovered there was

no God and no religion, the nation was thrown into a dismal

case, in which there was no law and no morals.

In the United States, Christianity is the original

spontaneous national religion. So he's just explaining that a

person's religion impacts a person's government, their law,

what they do, or what they don't do.

Article 1, Section 7 of the United States Constitution, we

find that laws cannot be made on Sunday.

Isn't that interesting? According to the Constitution,

laws cannot be made on Sunday. And the rationale for this is

that Sunday was considered the Christian Sabbath.

And Thomas Jefferson was more so a deist, meaning that he was a

person that believed in reason and he believed in, you know,

moral teachings. Although that's the case, he was

a deist more than he was a Christian.

He went to church at the Capitol every Sunday.

Something that that struck me again in 2006.

I gave this quote right here. It was from the Gallup poll and

it was from the year 2015. And it said in 2015, 75.2% of

Americans identify with a Christian religion.

Over 170,000 people were PO D Christian identity.

This is the statement still yet in this quote it said Christian

identity lessons as the age brackets become younger.

That last statement in 2015 has proved true.

Today time has proven that statement true.

As the age bracket gets younger then the belief of a Christian

religion or identity with Christian religion gets less.

Because I looked more recently. As of 2023 about 63% of adults

identify. They identify with some form of

Christianity that can be Protestant, Catholic, other

Christian denominations they identify.

With a, a so we had in 2015 seventy 5.2 identifying.

Now in 2023 we have 63% identifying with such a

religion. And then, and I said this on

Sunday morning not long ago, then you have a broader spectrum

of people today who are religiously unaffiliated,

meaning they have no affiliation.

They're what it this is, this has become so abroad as time is

marched on, that they actually give them an, a nomenclature, a

label. They're called the religious

nuns, not NUNS, the NONES, the religious nuns, because they

have no affiliation. And so this amount has grown to

represent about 29 to 30% of the American population.

What that means is this, about 3 out of every 10 US American

adults are now considered a nun. They have no religious identity.

They have no religious association.

Amen. So there was a prayer prayed

many years ago, I say many years ago.

It was one year before my wife and I got married.

So to me, it's not that long ago, but there was a prayer

prayed by a central Christian man.

His name was Joe Wright, and he prayed this prayer before the

Kansas legislator. And I want us to share a little

bit of that prayer with you. This was in 1996, the year I

graduated from high school. Heavenly Father, we come before

you today to ask your forgiveness and seek your

direction and guidance. We know your Word says well to

those who call evil good, but that's exactly what we've done.

We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and inverted our

values, he says. We confess that we have

ridiculed the absolute truth of your Word and called it moral

pluralism. We have endorsed perversion and

called it an alternate lifestyle.

We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.

We have neglected the needy and called it self preservation.

We have killed our unborn and called it choice.

We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.

We have neglected to discipline our children and call it

building a sting. We have polluted the air with

profanity and pornography and have called it freedom of

expression. We have ridiculed the time

honored values of our forefathers and called it

enlightenment. That's the prayer he prayed in

1996. I wonder what type of prayer Mr.

Wright would pray today. So to keep all things in proper

perspective tonight as we go tonight, the next couple of

Wednesdays, and for all those that are wanting criteria for

finding a mate, we're going to fit that in before we go back to

connect groups in December. There will be no genesis this,

this, this time around, OK. Although I'm slipping it in

every once in a while, maybe even tonight to keep the proper

perspective. There's a quote I read many

years ago and I it's kind of always been a blaze upon my

heart and mind. And that is issues are issues

and people are people. You are to address the issue and

love the people. So I want that to be kind of the

the the foreground here about what I'm about ready to step

into when we talk about the issue that taints the original

family model. All right, Ephesians 5 and verse

31 and 32 says this. For this cause shall a man leave

his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and

they too shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery, but I

speak concerning Christ and the Church.

Amazing Apostle Paul and Ephesians 5 is speaking very

admittedly, really about Christ and the church and the

relationship between Christ and the church.

But to take this great ministry of Christ and the church and put

it on a level that everybody could grasp, he uses a marriage

between a man and a woman for the model of explanation of the

relationship between Christ and the church.

As a matter of fact, the last 11 verses of Ephesians chapter #5

continually discuss the family. All right, particularly

marriage. All right, interjected

throughout these these verses, Paul is constantly making

parallels between Christ and the church in so much that Paul

basically tells us that really the whole time that I've been

talking to you about the marriage dynamic, I'm really

been trying to illustrate to you that the parallels and the union

between Christ and his church. And so from the very beginning,

can I say this, Genesis, from the very beginning, God had the

church. God had the church in mind.

What he did in Genesis with Adam and Eve was creating a small

scale visible model that represented what was intangible

and invisible at that moment, which was the church but before

thought. He did what he did right there

in the Genesis account and story, hoping that that would be

a model that would point someday to that future reality of what

was already in the mind of God, that he would just use time to

develop and show. And here's the fact of the

matter, you know, do you understand, you know how models,

you know, that represent something that's maybe you have

a, a model car that represents a AA1971, you know, Corvette, you

know, people that make those want to make them as detailed as

possible because it's representing something that is

real. It's representing something

that's genuine. As a matter of fact, anybody

that has an eye for those type of things, you're going to have

those type. You'll be able to point out

that's not the way it is on the real thing.

Because if you tamper with the models original design, then

you've created a confusion about what is real.

You create a confusion about what is real.

The finished product, right? Because it's supposed to be

reflecting a man something that's bigger than itself,

something that's whatever it's supposed to be reflecting that.

And so if the model is incorrect, anybody that would be

looking at the model then would maybe be safe to assume that the

finished product, that's how it's supposed to be because

that's how the model is, all right?

And so to change the model without any authorization, to

change it without any authorization, and therefore

maybe changing people's concept and idea about what the model

represents, that's all found God had Christ and the Church in

mind when he created the family. The design was simple.

The design was simple. The design was effective in

Genesis. Yes, every creature, every fowl,

beast, root bearing tree, whatever it was what we see in

Genesis, we we've already studied this reproduced after

its kind. Genesis 1 verse 11 you can look

Genesis 1:11

at it grass after his kind herb yielding seed after his kind

fruit yielding fruit after his kind and the summation is God

said it was good. Verse 21 great wells and every

living creature after their kind every wing thou after his kind

it was good be fruitful, multiply.

It was even God's Commission to them.

Verse 25 beast of the earth after his kind cattle after

their kind creeping things after their kind God summation of it

all it was good in Genesis 127 and 28.

The Bible says so God created man in his own image and the

image of God created he him male and female created he them and

God blessed them. God said unto them, male and

female, be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth.

God created male and female and bless them to be fruitful,

multiply and replenish the earth.

As a matter of fact, when we get to Genesis 2 and verse 18, the

Lord God said it's not good that man should be alone.

I will make him a help meet, a help meet for him, the

literalist. I'll make something suitable for

him and the rib verse 22 in the rib which the Lord God had taken

from man made he a oh God, I'm praying ahead of myself.

But if God said it's not good for him to be alone, I'll make

him a Hilton meet for him or what would be suitable for him.

Then we can tell by what God created what God thought was

suitable for man. He made a woman and brought her

unto the man. God saw everything being made

and everything then that propagated or reproduced after

its own time. That's what God said was good.

And the first thing that God saw wasn't good man being alone.

So again, he, he takes from the the side of Adam a rib, he makes

a woman. This is suitable for man.

This is complementary to the man.

And So what God gave man in the beginning to cure his aloneness,

that helped me, that suitable part was not another man.

He gave man a woman whereby they could fulfill the blessing, be

fruitful and multiply. So everybody listen, issues are

issues. If God wanted 2 males or two

females to propagate their kind, He would have made both male or

both female and have enabled those two males to reproduce.

I would have made those two females capable of reproducing.

But as far as I know, outside of any type of science

intervention, No2 males and no two females to this day can

reproduce. Amen.

The idea I'm more tenderly because folks I know these are

these are issues in the world today.

All right, but the idea that God made me a homosexual or I was

born a homosexual is biblically erroneous because of each

produce after their kind then heritage.

Sexual parents have heterosexual children and I've yet to see and

please understand me, I've yet to see a homosexual family model

reproduce anything. If God wanted more of this

so-called lifestyle and intended as a family model, for that

matter, intended as a model to reflect His church, then He

would have enabled reproduction of their kind.

But He didn't. And look, if you will, the

marriage covenant, the marriage relationship in the Bible is

under grave attack after the fall.

It's under grave attack whenever sin enters the picture.

Genesis 4 we got polygamy. Genesis 6, we got married and

given in marriage. Genesis 16 we have adultery.

Genesis 2019 we have homosexuality.

Genesis 34 we have fornication. Genesis 38 we have incest.

Genesis 39 we have prostitution and seduction.

All of that happens after sin has entered the picture.

Can I tell you that I'm here? I'm sad to tell you today that

America's committed the sin of Sodom and before you go to

thinking about all the sexual immorality of Sodom that it's

it's famous for, we must also stop and remember what Ezekiel

said was behind the sins of Sodom and Sodom's failure in

Ezekiel 1649. The Bible says, behold, this was

the iniquity of thy sister Sodom.

Pride, fullness of bread and abundance of idleness was in her

and in her daughters. Neither did she strengthen the

hand of the poor and the needy. I tell you what the problem,

Amen, behind the problems of Sodom are.

They're selfish and they're proud and they're a narcissistic

type of people, Amen. One of the deepest stars upon

the face of planet Earth is the Dead Sea, some 1400 feet below

sea level. Underneath this deep sea are

thought to be the remains of Sodom and Gomorrah, the cities

of the plane. There rest your city.

That was prideful. She was brought very low in a

literal sense. Not only low, but when you think

about the Dead Sea, Dead Sea, it collects, you know, from rivers

and stuff, but it has no outlet. That's the reason why there

there's so much salt in the you can just lay in it and you'd be

buoyant because it constantly takes.

It's selfish, but it doesn't give.

So here is a group of people in that day that their genders were

bent, their morals and their customs, they were shattered.

All their traditional ties that they would have had with the

Garden of Eden, they're all loosed.

Let's consider some scripture tonight.

All right. Leviticus 18 and verse 22 says

this. This is the Levitical law.

Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind.

It is abomination. Leviticus 20 and verse 13.

If a man also lie with mankind as he lieth with a woman, both

of them have committed an abomination.

They shall surely put be put to death under the Old Testament

law. Their blood shall be upon them.

All right. That describes to me then that

this, this intermingling of of same sex marriages,

relationships, homosexuality then is an abomination.

Now the thing about this say, oh, brother McGee, but that was

under the law. But what we're talking about

here is not just not just a civil law, we're not just

talking about a ceremonial law, but we're talking about the

moral law of God. There's a lot of the ceremonial

law we we no longer participate in.

And for that matter, much of the ceremonial law was fulfilled in

Christ Jesus, all the sacrifices and the blood that was shed.

But when we talk about the moral law, the moral law is tied to

God, a God that changes, not a God where there is no variables,

variableness, nor shadow of turning, a law that changes, not

then. And so we Fast forward all the

way to the last book of the Bible, Revelations 21 and 8, And

the Bible says this. But the fearful and unbelieving

and the abominable and murderers and whoremongers and sorcerers

and idolterers and all liars shall have their part in the

lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second

death. If a man lying with another man

like he would lie with a woman is an abomination, that's

abominable. And Revelation says I can't get

that out of my mouth, sorry. And Revelation says such like

will not inherit the Kingdom of God, but have their part in the

lake of fire. Now please, here's something

what I don't want misunderstood. I'm not saying somebody that

practices that today that that has to be their sealed destiny.

I am saying that if we practice a lifestyle of that and that's

all we do, we never find an altar of repentance, we never

have the blood shed and covered up on our lives then Scripture

says already determines for us what our destiny looks like.

Amen. Romans chapter #1 and verse #26

the Bible says for this 'cause God gave them up and to vile

affections. I'm going to pause here for a

moment. It's I got some other stuff

probably out of Romans there I want to read that's just not

here in my notes. God gave them up into vile

affections, for even their women did change the natural use into

that which is against nature, and likewise also the men

leaving the natural use of the woman burned in their lusts one

toward another. No men with men working that

which is unseemingly, unseemingly, and receiving in

themselves that recompense of their air which was Me, who,

knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such

things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have

pleasure in them that do them. Amen.

The reason why I wanted to open my Bible, I wanted to back up to

verse #25 of Romans one, because he, he's telling them in Romans

1 is just something interesting to look at.

It's talking about God's wrath against some that are ungodly.

But but what has happened? They started things of creation,

the stars and the moon. They started worshipping those

type of things and they started worshipping idols.

And the Bible says in verse 25, who changed the truth of God

into a light and worship and serve the creature, things that

have been created by God more than the Creator who is blessed

forever. Amen.

And then he goes to verse 26 for this, 'cause God gave them over.

What's interesting about that is the Apostle Paul's making a very

close connection, if not a direct connection here, that

there is a correlation between what you worship, idolatry and

immorality when people refuse to worship God.

And make idols the worst. We said, listen, today's idols

may not be wood or stone or such like that.

We have other idols we set up in our life that come between US

and God. That becomes our idol.

It becomes if it becomes between you and God, it's your idol.

He says people often refuse them to worship God and have idols in

between them and God. You know what happens?

They often give themselves to immorality, he said.

Brother McGee, I'm not shaking up with someone the same sex.

Immorality is a broad brush. It can include that, but it can

include other things as well. As a matter of fact, in the

culture in which the apostle Paul was writing, in the Roman

culture of these alternative religions, so to speak, these

religions, of course, served Pagan gods.

People would worship them and often the way in which they

worship them was by sexual immorality.

By having sexual immorality, it was a part of their worship or

the religious system. There were some of them that had

priestess, women priests, and it was common that if you wanted to

get in good standing with the God that she was connected to,

you had sexual intercourse with her, whether she is your wife or

not. So it was a part of the

religious system. So to not worship God was then

to open you up. And folks, this, this, this is

not a McGee thought. This is a biblical thought.

Whenever you refuse to worship God, you open yourself up to any

and every type of immorality. First Corinthians 7 two says

nevertheless, to avoid fornication, here's one of the

ways to avoid it. Listen, let every man have his

own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

This is one of the ways to avoid this immorality.

Let the man have a wife and the wife have a husband.

Joseph in the Old Testament under in the New Testament,

rather Joseph, if you remember, he's betrothed to marry the

mother of Jesus. He's betrothed her modern day

language. He's engaged.

He's engaged to marry the mother of Jesus.

And whenever he learned of her pregnancy, although this is the

Immaculate Conception, right? This is seed of heaven.

Whenever he learned of that, he was he was told with the idea

about putting her away. You read that to the Gospels

told with that idea, but when the Angel of the Lord came to

Joseph and explained to him that that which was in her was of the

Holy Ghost and that she had not a relationship with another man

in order for this to take place, then Joseph begin to think

differently about what he was going to do because Mary had not

been unfaithful to Joseph. That seed that was in here, it

was caused by the overshadowing, the Bible says, of the Holy

Ghost. So the Angel helped settle

Joseph's mind that whenever he woke up, whenever Joseph woke up

from this vision, in this dream, he did exactly as the Angel Lord

devised, and he took Mary to be his wife.

Why in the world do you think that God would send an Angel to

Joseph to tell him these things? Because we have enough examples

today, right? That he could have had Mary

raise Jesus, deliver that child, rear him up all by herself.

It happens all the time. He could have had that Joseph,

for that matter, the early Joseph he had.

We didn't have no biological connection with Jesus Christ.

All of that is absolutely true, but I believe it is that even

God wanted the man Christ Jesus to have the undergirding of the

family, a biological or earthly father and earthly mother and a

divine father. That's what he wants for all of

us. Amen.

A God oriented or Genesis defined family.

I understand that don't always happen or I understand that.

I understand we have a lot of different dynamics in our world

today. But again, whenever Jesus spoke

to them about many things, He said these words.

He said from the beginning it was not so.

He said although we have different allowances, He said in

the air in which we live right now, when He was talking to his

disciples, He said, although we have all that He said from the

beginning, it was not so right. What He's saying is there was a

model. There was a model.

The Bible says in First Corinthians 6 and verse #9 Know

ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of

God? Be not deceived neither

fornicators, nor idolterers, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor

abusers of themselves with mankind.

What is that? That's homosexuality, nor

thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor

extortioners, shall inherit the Kingdom of God.

The fairs lexicon of the Greek explains it as one who lies with

a male, as with a female as a sodomite.

The Greek English lexicon says in certain texts it refers to

the active male partner in a homosexual intercourse in

contrast with the passive male partner.

I was just reading today come across something and they talk

about in the Roman world, you know, all of this type of

lifestyle was permissible and said it was looked down upon to

be the passive member of a 2 male relationship.

So but it was all permissible. That's the reason why the church

in that age had to talk about it then, because the culture in

which they were in it was all around them.

But Paul's saying it should not be a part of the church.

That's a gezical Dictionary of the New Testament defines it as

referring to a male who engages in sexual activity with men or

boys. Ephesians 5, three.

But fornication, which in the Greek is porneia, from where we

get our word pornography, the fornication, and on cleanness or

covetousness, let it not be once named among you as becometh

Saints. Now you might think that it

might it should be unnecessary for Paul to give us this type of

instruction in verse #3 But again, fornication to the

Ephesians and those churches in that time was not rare but

commonplace. And fornication covers more than

just having sex outside of marriage.

This is what fornication covered in New Testament Scripture.

According to the Greek premarital affairs, extramarital

affairs, various types of sexual immorality where ordinary parts

of their society and culture would engage in.

In the Greek culture that day, prostitution and fornication

were considered again permissible.

Fornication, or the Greek word that it comes from porneia,

includes premarital affairs, extramarital incest,

homosexuality, beastiality, sex with animals and the use of

pornography. All of that is under the

umbrella of fortification. Paul said don't let it be once

named among you. Don't let it be once named among

you. Paul was so strong in this

conviction, saying it let it not be once named.

He's just saying this should not be the practice of the Saints.

Have we? Do we have people that fell to

it? Yes.

But what's he saying is don't allow it to become a lifestyle.

Get it under the blood, get forgiveness, go to Calvary,

right? Don't let that be your D-Day

moment. All right.

He sums up the seriousness of making all these impure

practices just that life practices and a continual

lifestyle. All right, because what our

identity is derived from our actions.

Our identity is derived from our practices.

Bible plainly tells us in various areas.

Here's the thing. If you continue to rob from

houses and businesses, you're going to be considered a you're

known by your consistent practices and actions.

And so if these people with such life practices continue and

continue, you are a adulterer, you are a fornicator, you are

whatever it may be. And that he said in verse five

that such people, their life practices as such, will not

inherit the Kingdom of God. Because no, if you go back and

read First Corinthians 6 and you go through there, idolaters,

huh? Effeminate thieves, drunk Kurds,

What is that? That's people with common

practices that's predisposed to those type of things over and

over and over and over without any repentance covering their

life. And so the family is under

attack, the original model is under attack.

And I hope what you gain from this is this.

The reason why it's under attack is if I can draw it, destroy the

model, maybe I can destroy people's idea and concept of

Christ in his church. That's what you got to

understand. That's the reason why your

marriage is under attack. That's the reason why your

relationships that you try to have with some of the opposite

say, that's the reason why it's under attack because he wants to

blur and confuse the adversary just want to blur and confuse

the model. That's to be the point of

representation between Christ and his church.

They're by doing OK and we're doing all right.

We're doing good. So I just want to share

candidates views here. I visited Family Resource

Council action.org and I just visited that on Sunday, so if

anything's changed between then now you can consult that

Same sex marriage legislation. Legislation to enshrine same sex

marriage into federal law. Harris supports Trump.

It's unknown Transgendered competition in sports, allowing

students access to male or female sports based on

transgender identity rather than biological sex errors.

Supports Trump. Opposes teaching children sexual

topics, allowing sexual orientation and gender identity

to be taught to public school students as early as

kindergarten. Harris supports Trump.

Also like to read from the platforms of the Republican

Party in the Democratic Party. Just on two things that I think

maybe relate to what I spoke to you about tonight.

The the party platform for 2024 created male and female.

The Republican side states these words discussion of multiple

policy issues. It implicitly affirms the by all

biological basis for sex pledges to keep men out of women sports,

ban taxpayer funding for sex change surgeries, stop taxpayer

funded schools from promoting gender transition, reverse

Bidens radical rewrite of title #9 education regulations and

restore protections for women and girls.

That's a Republican Party platform or of the issue of

creative male and female. The Democrat Democratic Party

platform for the same is 2 pages.

Dedicated to supporting LGBT ideology.

Promises to prohibit employment discrimination in the federal

government, including contractors, and make federally

funded seniors programs LGBTQI plus inclusive and continue to

make great strides to protect LGBTQI plus children and

prospective parents in the adoption and foster care

systems. Promises to vigorously oppose

state and federal bans on gender affirming healthcare, promise to

fight for LGBTQI plus youth and ensure that transgendered

students are treated fairly at We Respect the school.

Let me just pause and say we need to treat people with

respect regardless of who they are.

Drunk, murder, rapist, alternate lifestyle issues are issues.

People are people, issue needs dealt with, people need loved

The other issue of the platforms I present to you and then I will

finish. Definition of marriage and role

of the family under the Republican Party platform does

not include a definition of marriage that affirms the role

of the family. It says promises to promote a

culture that values the sanctity of marriage, the blessings of

childhood, the foundational row of families and supports working

parents and the end policies that punish families.

The Democratic platform side says celebrates the signing of

the Respect for Marriage Act. If you would want to know what

that is, you can look it up or see me after service.

Enshrining marriage equality in federal law promises to pass the

Equality Act to codify protections for LGBTQI plus

Americans and their their families, folks.

And those are just a few of the ones that we'll touch on before

the next two weeks are up. If you understand with me

tonight, and I think about this, I think, were we a Christian

nation? I say yes, but then I look at

the things that are staring me in the eye and say, are we a

Christian nation? Folks, Here's what you got to

computate. Do you understand then just the

impact that has on Christianity in America?

Your church, if you're up against with three out of 10

people you meet not even having a religious affiliation, that

can either be an opportunity for us or if they're totally sowed

on it, then that's 30% of the world that might be ground.

That seed can't penetrate at this time.

My father said so many times, he says, son, he says you're

pastoring in a different world than I pastored in.

And we're not just talking about world, we're talking about

church world. We're facing things today that

may have been taboo years ago, but now they are quite

forthright and the church contends navigates waters that

be we're going to close. I see I've been up here plenty

of time, but let's pray tonight as we pray, I want you to pray

over your family, whatever that dynamic looks like right now,

right? If you're a single mother or if

you're a divorcee or or if you're a husband and wife with

children, whatever that looks like right now, I want you to

pray for your family. Amen.

Because God, we want God to safeguard that and protect that

and your children that are growing up in this this world

over and over again. I'm thinking about the, I think

it is Matthew 24 talking about what was them who were to give

birth in that day, speaking about the day of the coming

Lord. And I'm starting to realize more

and more why? Because they're going to be

subjected to things that my children and my mom and dad's

children and my grandma and grandpa's children were not

subjected to. Let's pray together.

Father, I come to you today. God, I thank you Lord and Lord

I, God I love, Lord Jesus, the people of this world, Lord that

I live in, God of every race, creed, color, religion, Lord,

lifestyle. God, I rub shutters shoulders

with them all. I talk with them all, befriend

them all. But God, I pray, oh Lord, that

you're able to help us, Father God, if there are any Lord

aspects, God of life, God, within the context of home and

family, God, that would Lord Jesus, be an abomination in your

sight, God, I want to present that before you, God, help us,

the Lord, to move Lord back, Lord, toward the original model,

Lord Jesus. God, the original model, Lord

Jesus that you set up, Lord, for society.

God, I know, Lord over all, we've strayed so far from there.

And I know, God, that that's probably going to keep taking

place. But God, Lord of some Lord Jude

said having compassion and others pulling them out of the

fire. I pray, O God today, help us God

to be pricked in our heart. Give us wisdom and knowledge and

understanding, knowing how to navigate these times.

God, they're unprecedented times in many regards Lord, they are

intimidating times. They are pressuring times.

I pray, O God, help us to navigate him, Lord,

individually, Lord and collectively, Lord Jesus as a

church, help us, O Lord God, to be a station God, where Lord the

blood still flows and we're repentance can still happen and

where lives can still be changed.

I pray, O Lord, protect the family in the unit of the family

today it's bombarded by every side.

God, for deterioration and breakdown and disassembling.

O Lord God, protect your mind. O God, Christ in your church,

Christ in your church. It's a love relationship.

I pray, O Lord, that you've exemplified, Lord, in Homs and

families. I pray, O God, bring Lord, I

pray God, evidence and knowledge Lord, to the confusion of our

times, Lord, and we'll thank you and praise you Lord, for what

you do through your body in the lovely name of Jesus Christ that

I pray Hallelujah, Amen. Of the church say Amen,

Hallelujah, Amen. You may be dismissed, almost

said seated. If you need to sit down before
