Election - Part 3 | Pastor Paul McGee

And hay ride, which is really a straw ride, but nonetheless, we

won't tell if you don't, Amen. But nonetheless, we're so glad

that each of you are here in the House of the Lord, Amen tonight,

Amen, in God's house. This coming Sunday will be me in

the AM and Brother Alex Mason in the PM.

So you don't want to miss that. It's coming up here very

quickly. And then a week and a half from

now will be time change. All right.

The first weekend in November will be time change.

And so everything will fall back and, and it's going to be darker

earlier. I'm not trying to be depressive

on anybody. It's I don't make it up.

It's just what that happens, Amen.

And so just be mindful of that Amen as well.

National Youth Convention is just around the corner.

We're about a month out from that, Amen.

So that's taking place. So wow, before you know, we'll

be singing Holly jolly, some already are, and we'll be having

our candlelight service. All right, our candlelight

service going not going to take place on a Wednesday this year.

We're going to do it on a Sunday night, Sunday night right before

Christmas. Christmas is on a Wednesday this

year. So we're going to do our

candlelight actually on a Sunday night, all right?

And so we're looking forward to that.

That will actually be December the 22nd on a Sunday night that

they'll take place. Amen.

You can be seated tonight. We're going to look at our last

part of our election series here next Wednesday.

We'll be starting on the criteria for finding a mate.

All right, city series. And that will be, of course,

from a biblical perspective, not pop culture, not my perspective,

biblical perspective. OK.

And so we'll be looking at that. But tonight we want to finish up

talking about some issues that pertain to just pertain to life,

really a man, but but pertain maybe perhaps to the election as

as you may be bouncing some things in your own mind and

consideration as you go to vote next month.

My wife and I have already voted.

We took advantage of early voting because we're not going

to be around for the election. So we've already cast our vote

in the ballot box, so and so forth.

And but I know there's probably still several you just going to

wait whenever it's time to vote. So tonight I want to talk about

some human life issues, one that's, you know, a big player

in our world and has been for many years, and that is

abortion. And so as I talk about that

tonight, I want to say this that I'm not insensitive to anybody

that may somewhere in their past that have had an abortion, OK?

And I want to approach this from the standpoint that there isn't

anything that's not forgivable, all right, when it comes to

these regards. And those are things that we can

seek God with with a spirit of repentance and we can find his

blood can cover us all right, concerning these things.

But I think it's important that we talk about them from a

biblical perspective, all right. And, and going forward, you

know, there's some things that we we can say we're we're sorry

for, but there's other things that we have this willful

knowledge of. And that's what this is

empowering you with, with knowledge, hopefully.

But in 1973, Roe versus Wade decision, which happened before

I was born, mind you, all right, the Supreme Court ruled that

women, in consultation with their physician, have a

constitutionally protected right to have an abortion in the early

stages of their pregnancy. That is before viability,

meaning before that this child would be able to live on its own

outside of its mother's womb. And so they could do this free

from any type of governmental interference.

And so the journey began then back in 1973.

However, most of us know more recently, Roe versus Ray Wade

was overturned in 2022 by the US Supreme Court in the Dobbs

versus Jackson's Women's Health Organization case.

And so abortion up from 1973 until 2002 have been a federally

protected right, a federally protected right.

But this new ruling returned in the authority of regulating

abortion laws back to the individual states.

It was no longer a federal thing.

Now it became a state thing. And every state could decide

where they were on their abortion laws and so forth,

whether you can have one at all. So that varies now from state to

state. In his book The Right Thinking

in the World Gone Wrong, John MacArthur said this.

He said the irony is that a newborn baby is immediately

granted full legal rights as a human being, yet only a few

months or even hours earlier the same child is not even

considered a person. With this we need to remember

from Scripture idol God of the Canaanites that was called

Molech in Jeremiah 32 and verse 35.

The Bible says, And they built the high places of Baal, which

are in the valley of the son of Henom, to cause their sons and

their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech, which I

commanded them not. God says, neither came into my

mind that they should do this abomination to cause Judah to

sin. Again.

Malek was a idol God of the Canaanites.

They would come and they would worship this idol God.

And whenever the children of Israel entered into the promised

land or the land of Canaan, they they caught the spirit of the

age in which they were going to live in and the environment in

which they would live in Canaan. Rather than correct or live

differently than it. They they assumed some of this

same worship and some of these same gods in the land in which

they went to live. And so we even see the children

of Israel. Then some of them were

sacrificing their children, their sons and their daughters

to this God Malek in, in hopes or in their minds to hopefully

appease these supposed deities. But the altar of Malek was, was

on this, this mode. It was really an altar, almost

like an image that was made out of hollow metal with its arms

extended. And they would, they would stoke

a fire inside of that hollow image till it would burn

basically red that that metal would just be just inflamed red.

And they would take their children, parents would take

their children, and they would place it on the fiery arms of

that Pagan deity. And in essence, then that that

child would die. And a generation then is giving

up their children of the next generation.

And, and, and, and in essence, that's, that's what we do

whenever we participate in the practice of abortion today.

We're giving up our children of the next generation.

Based on data from the Guttmacher Institute and the

National Right to Life Committee, it is estimated that

over 60 million abortions have been performed in the United

States, 60 million since the Roe versus Wade decision in 1973.

In January of 2016, I'm just going back because I went back

to the numbers I had in previous years when I did this.

So in January of 2016, that estimate was around 58 and a

half million. Then in 2012 when I first did

this, that number was 4 million less than that.

So we have of course incrementally have gotten

greater and greater. To understand what 60 million

is, let's put 60 million people in perspective for a moment here

tonight. 60 million people, around 17% of the current US

population, that's 60 million people.

The current population of America, according to October

the 16th is around 345,000,060 million is 17% of that number.

That's nearly the entire population of the state of

California and Florida combined, which are two of the most

populous states in all of the United States.

The number 60 million the number of abortions there that's

happened since Roe versus Wade exceeds the total of American

military deaths of every war the US has fought, including the

Civil War, World War One, World War 2, the Vietnam War and more,

which equates to about approximately just 1.3 million

in total, 60 million people. Think of it for a moment when we

look back upon that, that dark mark in in the history of the

world of the Holocaust, it resulted in around about

6,000,000 Jews that died. We're talking about 60 million

babies that are aborted 10 times that number.

Again, just a stark contrast to a historic tragedy that we all

look upon and see. The sheer loss of life is great.

If those 60 million people were a country today, it would be the

25th largest nation by population in the world,

slightly smaller than South Africa which is 60.4 million

population, but slightly larger than Italy which is 58.8 million

people. Solomon said in Proverbs 6 that

there are 7 things God hates. These are some which was

mentioned in Proverbs 6 and verse 17.

A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent

blood. There isn't any blood more

innocent than the blood of a child that is yet to exist

beyond the interior of its mother's womb.

Bradley and Patent Foundations of Embryology, McGraw Hill of

1964. I understand this is old, but I

want you to understand where we were years ago, he said.

It is the penetration of the ovum by the spermizone and the

resultant mingling of the nuclear material which brings to

this union that constitutes the culmination of the process of

fertilization and marks the initiation of the life of a new

individual. Basically, what Mr. Patton said

so many years ago is at fertilization there is life and

it's a new person. In New York Times, July the 27th

of 2000 and an article that was discussing the human genome

project, it says, and I quote the human genome is a pill, a

model of high performance and reliability.

Millions of times a year a genome meets sperm genome and

the result is a human baby. It's parts all in place, it's

brain, a universe of love and meaning.

Let us not forget then even biblical basis as the psalmist

wrote in that beloved Psalms 139 that we even look that in our

self worst series that says in verse 13, as the psalmist cries

out to God, for thou has possessed my reigns, Thou has

covered me and my mother's womb, I will praise thee and let's

just stop for a moment. More than just the covering of

actual flesh, all right, and the amniotic SAC and fluids covering

is protecting. God has protected us in our

mother's womb. Verse 14 I will praise thee, for

I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Marvelous are thy works. And that my sow north, right?

Well, my substance was not hid from thee when I was made in

secret and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

Thine eyes did see my substance yet being imperfect, notably

incomplete, not fully formed yet.

And in thy book all my members were written, which in

continuance were fashioned. When as yet there was another,

He said, God, you had all my members already written and

pinned down before they even came into total being.

You had them numbered, we say in Jeremiah one and five, which is

through miniscripts. We looked at this too, and

ourself were certainly we should just put it all together before

I form thee in the belly. God told Jeremiah, I knew thee,

and before thou camest forth out of the womb, I sanctify thee, or

I set you apart, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Again, this is vitally important.

God gave purpose to Jeremiah before he exited the womb.

Jeremiah had a purpose as a fetus.

Let's go for it. Jeremiah had a had a purpose as

a embryo. Jeremiah had a purpose as as

cells that we're starting to multiply.

Jeremiah had a purpose. And so we got to stop for a

moment and ask ourselves how many God ordained purposes have

been cut off due to our participation and abortion.

Due to the widespread practice of selective abortion in China,

driven by a culture of preference for sons who are

expected to care for their aging parents, it's difficult for many

men even in that country to find spouses within their country.

Abortion as birth control has diminished the population rate

in many of the European countries, so much so that the

death rate is higher than the birth rate and it's because of

abortion. Isaiah 44 and verse 24 the

scripture says thus saith the Lord thy Redeemer, he that

formed thee from the womb. Others versions say, He that

formed thee in the womb. I am the Lord that maketh all

things, that stretcheth forth the heavens alone, that

spreadeth abroad the earth by myself.

He says he that formed thee, the Lord the Redeemer that formed

thee. We tamper with the unborn.

We're interfering with something that our Lord and our Redeemer

is creating. And if I can just speak just

from a position just of just like common life men.

I don't like people to mess with stuff that I'm trying to do.

You understand what I'm saying? I, I remember when my kids were

young, you know, they would do this thing to each other,

Glenny, you know, then one was playing with something or

building blocks, Brother Bryce and the other one came over and

thought it was hilarious to destroy what they were doing.

And the other child then is crestfallen.

Why? Because they have messed with

what I'm doing here. I wonder how much God has

grieved when we're tampering with what he's creating and what

he's purposing. So there's like, begin at

conception. This is from a 2013 article, A

Medical Concept. It says the moment of conception

unites 23 chromosomes from each parent, of course resulting in

46 chromosomes. All human chromosomes are

present and a unique life begins.

They said full human DNA is ready at the moment of

conception. And so though we believe that

life begins at conception, consider this thought process.

I believe it or not, this comes from Genesis and it came from

when I was doing studying during Genesis.

But I didn't bring this information up then.

I tucked it back in my jaw like a chipmunk waiting for winter so

I could chew on it. But I was listening to a podcast

called the Bible Book Project. Sounds great, don't it?

And the two women run this podcast.

And so this is a course then from a woman perspective.

Susan Merrill and Heather Rubio have this this this podcast.

And they made these remarks on Genesis 9 and verse #6 which

says, who so sheddeth man's blood, all right?

And the word there is interpreted in our English Bible

as man's blood. But it's not talking about male

blood in particular. It's talking about mankind.

Whoever sheds human blood, all right, by man shall his blood be

shed, for the image of God, may he man.

And so the very concept of this verse, this is pastor right?

Now, the very concept of this verse is this is that we are

held accountable for shedding human blood.

We're all made in the image of God.

This is what these two women that run this podcast had to

say. I quote them verbatim.

OK, They said, you know where I went speaking about the verse of

of Genesis 96 because this is pretty clear human blood.

All right, easy to find. I never thought about this.

I never thought about this in connection with this verse.

So the heart and major blood vessels begin to develop about

16 days after fertilization, 16 days.

The heart begins to pump fluid through blood vessels by day 20.

After that, the first red blood cell appears the next day, on

day 21, she said, OK, think about this.

Fertilization happens in the middle of a woman's cycle.

So at 16 days, you're like, just waiting for it.

And I'm not trying to be graphic.

You're like, just these are the women saying that's not bad, OK.

It's like you're just waiting for your period.

You don't even know that you're pregnant yet.

And day 21, you're only a few days late.

So about the time you realize that you haven't started

bleeding. The embryo has human blood, and

it's the embryo's blood. It's not mom's blood.

It can be a different blood type than mom.

It's not mom's blood, it's their blood.

It's human blood. It has every character.

It's human blood. It's the blood that they'll be

born with. It's the same blood though, that

they have as an embryo. We believe it starts at

conception, but it's interesting just to consider what these

women said concerning that verse.

Typically four to six weeks into pregnancy is the earliest of

fetus can be aborted or medicinally aborted.

At that stage, the fetus. And I know there's other things,

I know there's the morning after and all that, but at that stage,

the fetus has human blood. Interesting concept at week #12

the baby has all the parts necessary to experience pain.

Let me say that one more time. At week 12, the baby has all the

parts necessary to experience pain, including nerves and a

spinal cord. Meaning what happens at 12

weeks, they can feel. Babies can routinely be saved.

That 2122 weeks after fertilization, sometimes even

earlier and younger, can they be saved In some passages the

Bible, and this is important. Please, you hold on something.

Please hold on to this and some passages.

The Bible speaks of an unborn child in the same way that it

does those that have already been born.

Your Bible does showing then that God views both of them the

same. Two references for you found in

the same chapter, Exodus 21 and verse 4.

The Bible says if his master have given him a wife and she

have borne him sons or daughters, the wife and her

children. The Hebrew is yelled for

children. These are children outside of

the womb. The wife and her children shall

be her masters, and he shall go out by himself.

You skip down in the same chapter to verse #22 in the

Bible says if men strive and hurt a woman with child so that

her fruit, we're talking about a pregnant woman so that her

fruit, that word fruit. There is the same Hebrew word

for the children that are already outside the womb.

You LED said so that her fruit depart from her, yet no

mischief, although he shall be surely punished according as the

woman's husband will lay upon him and he shall pay as the

judges determine. What I'm getting at today is

this children outside the womb, children that were considered

the fruit inside a pregnant woman's womb.

He uses the exact same word because he views them in the

womb or outside the womb the same.

The Bible says this phrase is used three times in the Old

Testament. It's really kind of peculiar

looking at it for like real precept, you know, application

is difficult for us today, but there is principle to it.

The phrase is this thou shalt not see the which means to boil.

Thou shalt not see the a kid, all right, which is a goat in

his mother's milk. You can find this in Exodus

2319. You can find this in Exodus

3426. You can find this in Deuteronomy

14 and verse 21. And since there's probably a

limited number of us here tonight that raise any goats, I

could think maybe of a few or don't necessarily eat goat or

have goat's milk. Again, the relevance of this as

a precept to us is a little difficult, but the underlying

principle I believe can be relevant to us.

Now, there is no Jew that was to feel guilty about drinking

goat's milk. Neither was it wrong to eat a

young kid in the very literal sense of that day.

But the problem arose with this law when they would take a kid a

goat and boil it or seethe it, it was considered going too far.

And that's because there is a special relationship between kid

mom and child goat. There's a special relationship

not just between the child and the mother, but the child and

the mother and her milk, because that of strength for her child,

her kid. All right, to promote growth, to

promote strength. But to boil a kid in its

mother's milk is insensitive to the relationship between the

mother and the child goat and the purpose of the milk.

That milk was divinely given to that kid by God to preserve and

promote the life of that baby goat, not for the purpose of

destroying that baby goat as it could be.

From the viewpoint of the mother, it would seem somewhat

insensitive. And So what was designed to

preserve life was used to destroy life.

And in the Scripture, God says that's forbidden.

If you will for a moment, every pregnant woman who is

considering an abortion should give careful thought to this

principal on the abortion level. But because behind the precept

of goats and kids and milk is a principle, because the uterus of

the mother is a place of safety, The uterus of the mother is a

means for protecting the child, sustaining the growth of of the

child. And yet some will allow a

physician to intrude into that space and invade that safe space

in that womb and terminate their child in that sanctuary, in that

sanctified safe place. And so then the principal comes

to a level we have betrayed the relationship between mother and

child and what was supposed to be used to nourish, to promote

growth of that child then becomes the very arena in which

it's life is ended. Amen.

Guttmacher Institute, they said in 2023 there were estimated

1,037,000 abortions. There's about 2841 abortions per

day, 118 abortions per hour, almost two abortions every

minute. I don't know how long I've been

up here so far, maybe 15 minutes?

I don't know. I'm guessing if so, we've

already had about 30. Why do people have abortions?

I looked at the several years ago, but even though I do, I

always try to find current research, current information

about it or articles. There was an article called Why

do people have an abortions? It was updated on August the 7th

of 2023. So by Don Stacy has a PHD&ALMHC

All right degrees and this is based upon findings of a five

year survey of people who at least had one abortion or were

asked to give reasons they chose to terminate their pregnancy.

And these are the percentages from that five year survey of

those people, how it fell out. This is the reason why people

have abortions. 40% said they're not financially prepared.

That's the highest percentage of why people have abortions.

They're not financially prepared.

I just want to pause for a moment and tell you you'll never

be financially prepared, OK? I don't care if you're living

today or if you're living 30 years ago, you're never going to

be financially prepared. 36% said not a good time. 31% said

issues with partner, which under that could even be the cases

where rape occurs or happens. So let me just talk about that

underneath that category, just for a moment. 25,000 to 35,000

pregnancies are caused by rape per year.

Half of all rape related pregnancies end in abortion.

Watch this now. 77% of rape related pregnancies were caused

by current or former intimate partners.

Let that settle in for a moment. Going on 29% said they need to

focus on their other children. That's the reason why they had

an abortion. 20% said it interferes with future plans.

19% said they're not emotionally or mentally prepared. 12% said

there's health issues and that was the reason. 12% said they're

unable to provide a good life for the child. 7% said they're

not independent or mature enough to have a child.

I'm standing here for a moment. God made it in such a case that

if you are mature enough or independent enough to involve

your life in the activity of sexual behavior, then God says

I'll give you what will make you responsible for the behavior. 5%

said they did it because influence from family or

friends. 3% did it because they don't want children.

In some regards, we raised the generation of people that want

pleasure without principle or pleasure without responsibility.

So how much does abortion cost? Again, I looked at this years

ago. The prices went up, folks.

It has went up. But according to Planned

Parenthood, April the 29th of 2022, and it was updated just in

November of 2022, the average cost, which means you have to

have highs and lows, right? The the average, the average

cost is now about $800 per abortion.

Later in the trimesters as you go in clinic, abortions then are

more expensive. So at 8, about 800 per abortion,

you take the number we have in about a year, which is a little

over a million. You're talking about at least

$830 million year industry. And I know there's the profits

and losses and all that. This was Planned Parenthood

again, I want you to see the shift of just life even for

them. This was a Planned Parenthood

statement in 1963. This was from one of their

pamphlets in 1963. And I quote it said an abortion

kills the life of the baby after it has begun.

Things have changed. Planned Parenthood performs

392,715 abortions in the 2021-2022 year increase of over

18,000, or an increase of 5% from the previous year and a

rise of 20% over the past 10 reporting years.

This was a record number of abortion for their organization

and represented about 40% of all abortions performed in the

United States. They perform 228 abortions for

every adoption referral they had in that year per 1 adoption

referral. 228 abortions to take place in his book Vision

Visioneering and I'm moving on. I don't know when I'm started.

I don't have a clock. There's not a clock.

So we're just going right in his book Visioneering.

I have read this book. Andy Stanley reported a woman

saying this and I quote so interesting power when I read it

again. There's a lot of things I read.

I just kind of took back my jacket for whatever It's

applicable, she said, she says. But I feel that the greatest

destroyer of peace today is abortion, because Jesus said if

you receive a little child, you receive me, she says.

So every abortion is the denial of receiving Jesus, the neglect

of receiving Jesus. I'm going to share the

candidates views here tonight. This was last updated on August

the 26th of 2024. The procon.org A501C3 nonprofit.

The question was, should abortion be legal?

Harris said yes. Trump there, it said not clear,

not found. Last updated on September 2024

on the Faith and Freedom coalition.com guides, guides

that were sent to us that said, hey, these things here are are

IRS approved? OK, the question or the

statement is this federal abortion on demand law, federal

abortion on demand law. Harris supports says yes, Trump

says no. He refuses like to read again

now from both the Republican Party in the Democrat Party on

the issue of life and each of the thing I want to talk about

before we go home, OK. Concerning life, the Republican

Party platform says it proudly stands for families and life.

Believes the 14th Amendment to the Constitution guarantees that

no person can denied life or liberty without due process and

the states are free to pass laws protecting those rights.

Does not mention the unborn as previous platforms have done.

It believes the power has been given to the States and to a

vote of the people on this issue.

Promises to oppose late term abortion while supporting

mothers and policies that advance prenatal care, access to

birth control and IVF or fertility treatments.

The Democratic Party platform says it is committed to

restoring the reproductive rights Trump ripped away.

That's a direct quote from their party platform, not mine.

Promises to pass national legislation to make Roe the law

of the land again, which would allow abortion through birth.

Promise to strengthen access to contraception so every woman who

needs it is able to get and afford it.

Protect a woman's right to access IVF, Repeal the height

amendment, continue to support access to FDA approval

medication abortion. Appoint leaders at the FDA who

respect science, and appoint judges who uphold fundamental

freedoms. I want to just touch on

something else before we go on tonight.

Let's talk about the economy for a little bit, huh?

Anybody happy? No, I'm just joking.

Don't answer that. Amen.

Deuteronomy 1510. I don't know if it's up there

for me tonight. I had it for the NLT, but God

made it clear that we are to give generously, all right?

That we're to give generously to the poor and not grudgingly for

the Lord. Our God will bless us in

everything that we do. Well, a Giving USA report found

that in 2023, Americans gave the lowest percentages of their

disposable income to charity since 1995.

So this this is the lowest percentage in 2023 that they've

been given to charity since 1995.

Soup kitchens, homeless shelters, other nonprofits

struggling when Americans are feeling like they're choosing

between their everyday needs and helping others.

But the scripture said that we were to give generously to the

poor, not grudgingly. But we're being put in a place

because of the economy of our nation, that the hand that would

be out is now trying to keep its own in place.

America in some senses have committed the sin of Hezekiah.

Many good things could be said about Hezekiah, and there are

scripturally, there are many great and good things said about

Hezekiah. But when he failed God and then

the preacher came to Hezekiah and told him of the destruction

of the next generation. He told Hezekiah, all these

things are going to befall your nation and your people, but it's

not going to happen during the days that you are living, going

to happen in the days of your descendants in the coming next

generation. Second Kings 20 and verse #19

then said Hezekiah to the man of God, Isaiah, this is what he

said to him. He heard all this.

He said, good, He is the word of the Lord which thou hast spoken.

And he said, is it not good if peace and truth be in my days?

What's he saying? In effect, he's saying, so as

long as it's all right now, it doesn't matter what happens for

the next generation. Folks, what we are doing today

in S she's spending money that our children's going to have to

pay back through some form or some fashion.

We take a short light sighted look at it's like, well, as long

as everything's OK that which it's not OK now, but as long as

everything's OK now, it doesn't matter about the future.

It does it doesn't matter about the future.

Our children matter. Proverbs 13 and verse 22.

I had the NLT. This will probably be the King

James up there. It says good people leave an

inheritance to their grandchildren.

Folks, that's hard to do when you're just trying to pay for

your groceries or you got property taxes that's so high,

or this tax here, tax there, tax everywhere, tax, tax.

Old McDonald had a farm. Amen.

Nehemiah chapter #5 and verse #3 the Bible says, folks, it's all

right to have fun. The Bible says this was a

Nehemiah's day, right? Living during the time there in

Jerusalem, They've been rebuilding Jerusalem, the walls,

all these things. Some also we have to dismiss.

We'll have to some also. There were that said we have

mortgaged our lands, vineyards and houses that we might buy

corn because of the dearth. There were also that said, we

have borrowed money for the King's tribute, what they

borrowed money to pay tax, and that upon our lands and

vineyards. Yet now our flesh is as the

flesh of our brethren, our children as their children, and

lo, we bring into bondage. Look at that, we bring into

bondage our sons and our daughters to be servants, and

some of our daughters are brought into bondage already.

Neither is it in our power to redeem them.

Why They don't have the means to do so for other men have our

lands and our vineyards. And so the land owners here in

the Scripture have mortgage, mortgaged their land, all right,

in order to have money to bite seed that they might have a

harvest that they might be able to just feed their family and

exist, right? They anticipated that they would

have no harvest because of everything going on, or at least

a poor harvest or insufficient harvest to even provide a means

to be able to pay back what they borrowed for the seed.

And if all that was going on, they said, then there wouldn't

be, no, there would be no cash or revenue to redeem our

property, let alone redeem our children back from slavery or

indentured servants that we sold them into because of our

poverty. And so there's all these

consequences. They're thinking in their mind,

you know what, we might lose our property altogether.

It it might be confiscated from us because where we are

financially, we might have to give our children to what and in

what effect? In what form because of all the

stuff we're trying to work off our debt.

And if they lost their land, they possibly may face a never

ending situation where their children would never be given

back to them to redeem. In essence, it states somewhat

You allow me to read again from the party platforms.

And this doesn't tongue and groove with economy, but I think

it's important. This is about our religious

freedoms from the Republican and the Democrat Party and their

platforms. Republican Party it says their

platform calls the Republican Party the defenders of the 1st

Amendment right to religious liberty, which protects the

right not only to worship according to the dictates of

conscience, but also to act in accordance with those beliefs,

not just the places of worship, but in everyday life.

Says it's partly members include men and women from every faith

and tradition and that the party respects the right of liberty.

No right of every American that the inks a little smudge there

every American to follow his or her deeply held beliefs

supports. I quote a new federal task force

on fighting an anti Christian bias that will investigate all

forms of illegal discrimination, harassment and persecution

against Christians in America. Promises to champion the 1st

amendment right to pray and read the Bible in school and stand up

to those who violate the religious freedoms of American

students. The Democratic Party states this

promises to protect the 1st amendment right to free exercise

of religion for everyone and maintain the separation of

church and state. Promises to combat hate crimes

and white nationalist terrorism, prioritize the investigation of

hate crimes against trans and non binary people, and continue

to increase security at houses of worship.

Condoms. The decades long campaign to

demonize oh condemns, not condemns, sorry condemns.

The decades long don't want smudges on your hand.

The decades long campaign to demonize the Muslim community

and promises to advocate for religious freedom across the

world, although that could very easily be in their platform as

well. Proverbs 2425 and verse 19.

The Bible says confidence in an unfaithful man in time of

trouble is like a broken tooth and a foot out of joint.

What's that mean? If you have a broken tooth or a

foot that's out of joint, if you put any stress on them, whether

it's the tooth or the foot, when you need them, they're going to

fail you. And we hurt and we feel the pain

associated with their inability. All right, now close with this

Scripture, Proverbs 29 and verse #2 when the righteous, everybody

say righteous. Now before we just think, well,

this is someone that is right living and all that.

The word righteous means just lawful, one who walks straight

path or this one who is moderate.

So when the righteous are an authority, the people rejoice.

But when the wicked, defined here in the Hebrew as guilty,

morally wrong, departed from the correct path, or ungodly, when

the wicked bears rule, the people mourn.

And so as we go forward, we have an option and a choice, whether

we're voting for more so mourning or more so rejoicing.

You'll stay with me tonight. And I know the past three weeks

may have been a little peculiar outside of the norm, but that's

OK Amen. That's OK because there's people

talking about these type of things every day ever since a

year ago. And the talk is becoming more

intense. And so it's important that the

church talks about it as well. All right, Why don't we talk

about issues? I wonder if we could pray

tonight again, this is our last session for this election

series. We'll be talking about the

criteria for finding the mate next week.

But I wonder if we could just really take a moment right now

and pray and ask God to give us some wisdom and knowledge.

All right, some understanding as we go forward from here and as

we go to the polls next month. God, I'm asking Lord Jesus today

that you would give us wisdom and knowledge and understanding.

God help us to Lord, not just to God haphazardly, Lord just fill

in Lord circles next to a name, but God help us to go in

educated. Help us to go in Lord Jesus

educated not just on the national level, but God on our

state level, even on our community level.

Help us to go in educated. God, we have all the tools, all

the means out there, Lord, for educating ourselves, Lord,

concerning people and issues and things.

I pray, O God, help us Lord, to make Lord good choices, Lord and

good decisions when know God that you pluck up Lord Jesus and

you plant. We understand all of that.

And God, regardless of who finds their way into office, we'll

pray God for that person and authority, God of that office.

We'll make that God a sovereign Lord Jesus, God responsibility,

God that we take up on our shoulders to pray fervently for

them. But God, help us to do due

diligence now. God, before that next individual

enters, God, help us to do due diligence now.

God, with the opportunity that you've given us in this great

God to cast our vote, Lord Jesus, I pray, help us, O Lord,

to be biblically sound God, and have a biblical compass about

us. God, as we go forward, Lord,

help us. Lord, I pray and I know, Lord

Jesus, God, that you'll be there, Lord, instructing,

guiding Lord in your hand and all these affairs, The Lord for

the United States of America, we trust you with it and for it.

And the lovely name of Jesus Christ that I pray and the

church say Amen, Amen. God bless you all in Jesus name.
