  1. Praise the Lord everybody. Amen.

  2. It's good to be in the house, Lord tonight.

  3. Glad our visitors is with us tonight.

  4. They're home folk, but they're visitors, Amen.

  5. Glad to have them. Let's give them a hand clap.

  6. Thank you Jesus. Jesus, I don't know whether you

  7. looked or not, but blah. Below the Bible stands.

  8. Sister, sister Sheila asked me this morning said you need to

  9. just leave that there and see how much it would settle.

  10. And so it's it's cleared up, but there's residue in the bottom

  11. notice. Thank you Jesus for taking the

  12. residue down the streams when we was baptized.

  13. Amen. Praise the Lord, thank you.

  14. Thank you. Well, I appreciate the presence

  15. of the Lord tonight. Amen.

  16. I want to give honor tonight to the ministry of this church, my

  17. son and daughter-in-law, which is not here, but man, I know one

  18. sometime they're going to be listening to this.

  19. So appreciate brother and sister.

  20. Mason Man ministering this church for the Alex and Sister

  21. Grace and their way in Bloomington tonight.

  22. Ministering. We're so glad for them and

  23. Sister Malin and Brother Zach. We appreciate them.

  24. Amen. Hallelujah.

  25. I've always told her that she's a breath of fresh air around

  26. here. I told her at night she should.

  27. We had to be just a breath because she's not very big, but

  28. we love them dearly. They're just, they're great

  29. people. We love them.

  30. They're children. Amen.

  31. Hallelujah. Brooke.

  32. Bryce, it's good to see you back here again tonight.

  33. Amen. Amen.

  34. We appreciate him being here. Amen.

  35. It's a great thing. Thank the Lord.

  36. Tonight I'm going to be turning to Mark chapter #14 in your

  37. hearing. And I feel like tonight, I don't

  38. know, I'm, I'm going to read a, a story that we're used to

  39. reading also mark the 14th chapter and I'm going to start

  40. it verse #32 and I'm going to read down and then I'll jump a

  41. little bit. And they came to a place which

  42. was called Disseminate. And he said to his disciples,

  43. Sit here while I shall pray. And he taketh with him.

  44. Everybody say, taketh with him, Peter, and James and John, and

  45. began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy, and saith unto

  46. them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death.

  47. Tarry ye here and watch. Everybody sayeth, watch, drop

  48. down to verse #37 And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and

  49. saith unto Peter, Simon, Sleepest thou, couldest not thou

  50. watch? One hour glory.

  51. I want to turn now to First Corinthians.

  52. First Corinthians chapter #12 and read a few verses of

  53. Scripture here. 12 and 17. If the whole body were an eye,

  54. where were the hearing? And if the whole we're hearing

  55. where were the smelling? But now have God set the

  56. members, every one of them in the body that it has pleased him

  57. have to help me now one drop down to verse #25 He says about

  58. the body that there should be no schism in the body, but that the

  59. members should have the same care one of another.

  60. God help us tonight. Lord, I need you.

  61. I feel your presence in this house.

  62. I'm asking Lord for the Holy Ghost to move in here.

  63. Oh shut up. Oh my God.

  64. Oh my God. No.

  65. You're the most have your way. Lord Jesus, I pray touch lives

  66. tonight. Change us God, change us through

  67. this message. I pray in your holy name.

  68. Amen. Amen.

  69. You can be seated in Jesus name. I want to preach on this

  70. subject. Just one hour and alone.

  71. Just one hour and alone to me as this has been moving and working

  72. on in my mind for some time. The saddest scripture that was

  73. ever read is the one about Gethsemane.

  74. Because if you'll notice in scripture that the Lord tells he

  75. takes three with him leaves the first bunch back here.

  76. But he said, Peter, James and John, I want you to go with me.

  77. And he took them up to a certain spot, and he said for them to

  78. stay there. He said, I, I want you to stay

  79. here, tarry here. I want you to tarry here.

  80. Amen. I want you to tarry here and

  81. watch. And the Bible said he went a

  82. little farther and he began to pray and be sorrowful.

  83. The saddest story in the Bible is that Jesus took three men

  84. that were his disciples and you know as well as I do that the

  85. reason he took them is because these are the ones that stood

  86. out. That was always by side even

  87. later, but he took three with him.

  88. But there was nobody else to help him in so much so that the

  89. Bible teaches that there was angels come that ministered to

  90. him, but yet his own disciples would not pray and watch.

  91. What a sad thing. Hallelujah, praise the Lord and

  92. I I want to I want to just kind of bring this to life tonight.

  93. He said I want you in verse 34. He said I want you to tarry here

  94. and watch. He told the three, I want you to

  95. Terry here and watch that word. Terry there in the Greek means

  96. to endure. Everybody said endure.

  97. Now sometimes enduring is not easy.

  98. Hallelujah. Then it says to persevere is

  99. another meaning or to be alive, not to sleep, to be an

  100. expectancy. I don't know about you, but when

  101. I think of the three that He took with them, this is what He

  102. wanted them to do. He wanted them to stay alive.

  103. He wanted them to be an expectancy.

  104. He wasn't after them to sleep, He was after them to pray with

  105. Him. Glory, Hallelujah, glory.

  106. Let us break it down a little farther yet.

  107. The word endure means this is not going to be an easy task.

  108. So he called them because he had faith in them.

  109. Yet he had already told Peter before the cock crows.

  110. You're going to deny me three times glory Hallelujah.

  111. So he is already using the wording that he used.

  112. He is already letting them know that this is not going to be

  113. easy tasks. This is this is not everyday

  114. thing, but this is going to be hard.

  115. Oh, Jesus, Hallelujah. Then he said to persevere, which

  116. means to continue in spite of difficulty.

  117. Come on, church. Ha, Oh my Lord, I'm about to.

  118. I feel the Holy Ghost in here. I'm going to tell you, church,

  119. it's not easy to praise God. There's going to be times when

  120. we'll come through the church doors that we don't feel no more

  121. like worshiping and nothing. It's not going to be a easy

  122. task, but God has called us to worship him.

  123. He's called us to lift up the name of Jesus.

  124. He's called us to be alive. He's called us to persevere.

  125. Thank you Jesus. Verse 38 kind of pinpoints it

  126. and tells exactly you know it. You'd think that they'd get the

  127. picture. You know, if I say I want you to

  128. tarry here and watch verse 38, he kind of spills the beans.

  129. He said watch it and pray lest you enter into temptation.

  130. The Spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.

  131. I'm going to tell you this is where we have most of our

  132. problems. It's with our flesh.

  133. I don't know about you, but I battle this flesh every day.

  134. Come on and and I'm going to tell you it's hard to preserve

  135. in that it's not a easy task to keep the flesh under control.

  136. The only one that can do it is the Spirit of God that dwells on

  137. the inside of me. But I got to learn to listen to

  138. it. Glory, Jesus says Peter verse

  139. #37 Jesus says Peter, could us not thou watch one hour think

  140. about hey, how come he called Peter out?

  141. Pick on Peter's day, right? Yeah, pick on Peter day.

  142. Jesus already knew who was going to be the leader on the day of

  143. Pentagon. Jesus knew ahead of time what

  144. was going to happen. So what he's doing, he's calling

  145. his leader out. He said if you're going to lead

  146. by church, you're going to have to learn to be well.

  147. You're going to have to learn to be awake.

  148. You're going to have to learn to worship.

  149. You're going to have to learn to pray.

  150. An hour. Come on.

  151. Nothing's going to happen in the church, Peter, unless you pray.

  152. And it's not a 5 minute prayer, but it may take an hour or two

  153. to get the thing done. Glory, glory, whoo Jesus, oh

  154. glory. On the day of Pentecost, they

  155. came together with one mind and one purpose to receive the

  156. promise. And the whole crowd of 120 was

  157. there. You know what?

  158. They was all there for the same purpose.

  159. And they didn't meander around. They wouldn't, they wouldn't

  160. just visiting. You know what they was doing?

  161. They was watching and praying, you know what?

  162. Because they had already had the promise that there was something

  163. going to show up on that day. So they was there.

  164. You know what? The real reason we come to

  165. church, I hope, is we come expecting something with

  166. expectancy, knowing that I'm going to go home with something.

  167. Brother Aiden, come on, I may not have what I want right now,

  168. but honey, when I get to church, I'm planning on getting it no

  169. matter what. Just like the Lord knew what

  170. Peter's assignment was going to be for the church pastor, Paul

  171. Poole, some of you know him. I guess he was maybe the first

  172. one. Well, maybe not.

  173. Maybe it's been Sue's grandmother.

  174. I don't know. But he was one of the first, I

  175. guess that that noticed that maybe God had worked and done

  176. something in me and I was going to be a leader and I didn't know

  177. it. But I will never forget Brother

  178. Mason, what he told me one day. He told me, he said, Brother

  179. McGee, you've got leadership in you.

  180. Watch where you take your people.

  181. I will never forget that as long as I live.

  182. He spoke into my life before Brother Sizemore ever did.

  183. You know what? There is times that God gives

  184. men of God where you're headed even before you get there.

  185. Brother Steve Wilson I'll never forget a man that was Brother

  186. Meredith's church. Well, it was actually, it was in

  187. the gymnasium, I think it was, or something.

  188. But I'd been asked to preach and it was their anniversary

  189. service. I don't remember what

  190. anniversary it was, but of the church and I, I still don't know

  191. how I done it, But you know, they, they give me the first

  192. night I had to preach the first night.

  193. Brother Steve Wilson preaching after me.

  194. Lord help you talk about pressure.

  195. We all know Brother Wilson. He is a preacher, extraordinary.

  196. And he preached a sermon that night that stayed with me

  197. forever, and they brought me back to this scripture and he

  198. preached on this subject. God always works upstream.

  199. If we'd only realized church that every place we go He's done

  200. been there. Come on, it's not He's not a

  201. stranger to where you're at. He's done been there.

  202. He's hopefully he's walking ahead of me.

  203. Come on, He's paving the way for me.

  204. Come on. If it wasn't for him, I'd still

  205. be back there. But he's paving the way.

  206. Come on. Peter, couldn't you pray Just

  207. one hour yet you're leaving me alone to pray.

  208. I just all going to tie together before I quit.

  209. Glory. Hallelujah.

  210. Hallelujah. Oh, that we could all get on the

  211. same page. Come on, I said.

  212. Oh, that we could all get on the same page if we could all just

  213. come to church and get on the same page for a change instead

  214. of scattered minds here, you know, at work tomorrow what I've

  215. done today. Come on, the week's worth of

  216. work that's ahead of you. If I could just get on the same

  217. page with the Lord, and if you could get on there with me, you

  218. know what? It's hard telling what God would

  219. even do in this house tonight. If we could all in this house

  220. get on the same page. Hallelujah, Hallelujah, glory,

  221. glory, glory, Hallelujah. I feel though, I like, like the

  222. church, no one should have to pray alone.

  223. I'm going to drill this hard because I'm a brother Freddie.

  224. I remember second church. I remember first church, but it

  225. really stands out in the second church.

  226. But that's because that's when God really began to move.

  227. He moved in the first one don't get me wrong, but the first the

  228. the very first of church number another 128 brand new souls in

  229. 1996 and I've got names written down. 28 brand new souls that we

  230. baptized in Jesus name and they were filled with the Holy Ghost.

  231. Hallelujah first church God started.

  232. He let 6 get filled with Holy Ghost without me ever preaching

  233. or else or even singing a song. Come on, I'm telling you, if we

  234. can all get on the same page, there's nothing to keep that

  235. from happening right here. Hallelujah.

  236. He can do it right in the midst of our service.

  237. There ain't nothing wrong with the Lord taking over and

  238. preaching a while. I told him.

  239. I laid up here on my face this afternoon on this carpet.

  240. I said, Lord, I don't have to preach.

  241. You do the preaching, You do something.

  242. It's not about me, Lord. It's all about you.

  243. It's all about your Kingdom. I don't need no accolades.

  244. The Lord needs the accolades. Hallelujah, Hallelujah,

  245. Hallelujah. No one should have to pray

  246. alone. Now I'm going to, I'm going to

  247. be just as nice as I can, reach just as straight as I can.

  248. It bothers me when I see people come to the altar and there's

  249. nobody praying with them. Nobody should have to go in a

  250. March alone. Hey, I remember second church.

  251. People began to March. Before you know it, the whole

  252. church was marching. Come on, stay with me tonight.

  253. We're going to bring this around.

  254. It's a, it may be a complete circle, but we're going to bring

  255. it around. Hallelujah.

  256. When somebody run. Next thing you know, I've seen

  257. somebody run. Brother Ethan.

  258. I thank you. Brother Ethan got up and run.

  259. As soon as I seen that, I got up and run with him.

  260. Nobody should have to run alone. When somebody stands up and

  261. shouts Hallelujah, there ought to be somebody else standing up

  262. and say Hallelujah, you should have to do it alone.

  263. Man, I feel the Holy Ghost in here.

  264. Whoosh, Hallelujah. We shouldn't have to be alone.

  265. If Jesus didn't need to be alone and he didn't want to be alone,

  266. why you think he called the other three with him?

  267. I need a backup. I need somebody to pray with me.

  268. Come on, Church, Did you slap? What you doing, Peter?

  269. Sleep us now, Peter, could you not watch one hour and then the

  270. next time he makes it very plain, watch and pray that you

  271. won't enter into temptation. You know what Temptation comes

  272. when we ain't got our mind on God.

  273. Thank God. When we're tempted, if we go to

  274. the Holy Ghost, it's on the inside that's bigger than the

  275. temptation on the outside. And we have trouble with that.

  276. I have trouble with that. You have trouble.

  277. It's something we fight all the time.

  278. But I'm going to tell you we've got power over it in Jesus.

  279. That's why we all want to praise God together.

  280. We ought to worship him together.

  281. We ought to shout Hallelujah together.

  282. We ought to say Amen together. Oh Jesus, just one hour, but

  283. alone. I've got to pray alone.

  284. I'm going to pray an hour and I've got to pray alone.

  285. Oh, Jesus. We probably wouldn't have been

  286. so nice to Peter, James and John.

  287. We not might not have spoke that nice.

  288. He treated them as these kids. Thank you Jesus, let me, let me,

  289. let me, let me bring this together.

  290. Genesis 218 and the Lord said it is not good that man should be

  291. alone. If if he said that in the

  292. beginning, it's still good. Come on, it's not good.

  293. I will make him a help meet for him.

  294. You look it up and it says aid or assistant.

  295. God is looking for assistance from His church.

  296. He's made us all into one body and He's brought us together for

  297. such a time as this that He'll have assistance in winning Mount

  298. Carmel. He's brought us together so we

  299. can have prayer together so our families would come in, so the

  300. prodigal that went out the door would come back in so we can

  301. have a revival of restoration. Can it happen, Bishop?

  302. Yes, it can happen. I believe it's going to happen.

  303. But we all got to get on the same page right now on page #1

  304. Stay with me, Lori. Your residue's in the bottom,

  305. Lori. Hallelujah.

  306. Thank you, Jesus. Numbers 11.

  307. It's a reference only. You don't have to turn there.

  308. Allow me to paraphrase. Moses tells God, he said I'm not

  309. able to bear all this people alone.

  310. He talked to God about it. He said, Lord, I can't do this.

  311. What you're wanting me to do, I can't do it.

  312. I can't bear him alone. So guess what, God sends 70

  313. elders out of Israel and he said, Moses, we're going to

  314. bring them down by you and I'm going to take off your spirit

  315. and I'm going to put it up on them.

  316. Now, I'm going to tell you, if the church ain't together, we

  317. need to get together because the same thing that pastor preaches

  318. here and all the minister of this church, all of us need to

  319. get in that spirit that they're in.

  320. You need to feel the burden the pastor feels.

  321. You need to feel the burden that your youth leader is having.

  322. You need to feel the burden of the next Gen.

  323. Come on. God wants to do something, but

  324. we've all got to work together and be obedient before it's

  325. going to get done. Hallelujah, praise the Lord,

  326. Hallelujah. So God gives him 70 elders to

  327. bring together and he puts the Spirit upon all of the helpers.

  328. Can I tell you I can't preach alone?

  329. I need you. I can get up here and shout my

  330. guts out, but if you ain't helping me, I can't preach.

  331. The preacher gets gets his encouragement.

  332. It's when you're out there saying Amen, Hallelujah.

  333. It's so when he's preaching, he can feel like coming back.

  334. And when it hits the preacher, you're going to make him preach

  335. harder even yet, and he's going to preach with more meaning

  336. because somebody is accepting it and sending it back.

  337. Oh, Jesus, Hallelujah. Stay with me.

  338. Hallelujah. See, pastor says that all the

  339. time. Many hands make light work.

  340. Come on, you know what? Wouldn't have to stand up here

  341. and scream his head off if we'd all get on the same page,

  342. Brother Mason wouldn't have to sing his heart out and beat his

  343. fingers to death if everybody just get on the same page.

  344. But Ethan, if we could all get on the same page.

  345. And my Lord, hey, I can remember those days that nobody ever done

  346. nothing alone. Nobody prayed alone.

  347. Because if somebody hit the altar, somebody's going to be

  348. there by their side praying for them.

  349. All right, I know Brother Reese told me I could do use him for

  350. anything, but I'm more surprising.

  351. Brother Dakota's going to be my helper.

  352. Brother Dakota, I want you. I want you to come up and sit

  353. down my chair. Good helper.

  354. Now I'm going to show you what we do in our churches.

  355. Peter, James and John, they're back there.

  356. You know, they're not doing anything.

  357. They're sleeping. Who's praying?

  358. Jesus, He's the only one. He's alone and he's praying.

  359. He's got three right there. And the other bunch back there.

  360. They've been asleep already forever.

  361. Got all his disciples with him. There ain't none of them.

  362. What if we're not careful? We come to church and our

  363. disciples are all sleeping while the preachers preaching.

  364. Now, what I'm trying to get across is what I think we do

  365. sometimes. And I'm not saying that anybody

  366. is trying to do this. I'm saying it's something that

  367. we got to check out. And God, I'm going to tell you

  368. this wasn't in my sermon, but I'm going to tell you I'm going

  369. to preach it or told me go get that fence I had back there, he

  370. said. Because what we're doing in

  371. church is we're fencing somebody in that's come for prayer.

  372. Nobody can get to them. Come on.

  373. We, Oh my Lord, help me preach. We've tied God's hands.

  374. He can't do nothing. We're the church.

  375. We're the body of Christ. If the body of Christ isn't

  376. going to do nothing, Jesus can't do nothing.

  377. I've got to go farther. And

  378. if I take it on farther. Truth is, we don't even seem.

  379. We're gazing down. Oh, my phone just went off.

  380. Let me see who that was. You'll remember in this church,

  381. a lot of years ago when we first moved in here, I preached a

  382. sermon. Loving God more than you love

  383. your cell phone made everybody come up and lay their phones on

  384. the table. You remember that?

  385. You know what I still stand on? That we ought to love God more

  386. than the cell phone. That cell phone ought to take

  387. all of our time in the day. We need to watch and pray part

  388. of it. Hallelujah.

  389. Thank you, Jesus. See what, what?

  390. What God began to he began to burden me down this afternoon.

  391. But we need to get together. We shouldn't be alone.

  392. Not alone in our trial, not alone in our testing, not alone

  393. in our sickness, not alone in our pain, not alone in our

  394. broken heartedness and our depression.

  395. It ought not be in the church. If that's happening in the

  396. church, the church ain't where it ought to be, because this is

  397. the Church of the living God. We are the bride.

  398. Oh yes, Jesus, we need each other.

  399. See, truth is, I need you. I'm still here after 30.

  400. Lost track now. Been a long time.

  401. I started helping this church in 1988.

  402. That's been a while, and I've been around here and I've

  403. watched us come up through the revival, and that's good and it

  404. ought to be. But now we've slowed down in the

  405. slump. You know why?

  406. Because we can't get on the same page.

  407. I don't know how many was up here at the altar this morning

  408. that was praying, but I didn't see 1-2 people or three people

  409. around them all. We're not on the same page.

  410. Come on. God does not lose our vision.

  411. Let us not lose. Let us not lose our sympathy.

  412. Let us not lose our compassion. Church, we can't live for God

  413. without compassion. We can't live with God without

  414. love. We got to love one another as He

  415. loved us. Oh, oh, oh, I said we got to

  416. love each other as he loved us. Oh boy, that puts a different

  417. twist on the story. He who, glory man, He thought

  418. enough of us that He took our sins and nailed them to the

  419. cross. And if it wouldn't been for him,

  420. you and I wouldn't be here tonight.

  421. Glory Hallelujah. Glory Ecclesiastes verse chapter

  422. 4 and verse 9. I'm trying to hurry.

  423. Help me. Two are better than one.

  424. Everybody can say that. You could.

  425. You could testify that 2 are better than one because they

  426. have a good reward for the labor. 2 can do more than one

  427. and else one is sitting on their prat doing nothing.

  428. Hey, everybody can do something in this church and you've been

  429. called to do. If you're a part of this body,

  430. you're not a loafer. The truth comes out.

  431. Come on, We all got to do our part, brother.

  432. Even if we want to have church, we'll have to jump a little bit.

  433. Come on, we'll have to run a little bit, go have to shout a

  434. little bit, maybe a whole lot. Because some things you got to

  435. shout your way through, some things you got to pray your way

  436. through. Just one and you fell asleep.

  437. Why aren't you praying, buddy? You're going to have a job when

  438. I come up out of that grave. You're going to have a job on

  439. your hands. Oh, yes, Lord Hallelujah.

  440. Who's better than one? Because they have a good reward

  441. for their labor. I'd like now notice and take

  442. hold of this. For if they fall, the one will

  443. lift up his fellow. Oh God, if Brother Reese gets

  444. down, I'm going to have to help pick him up.

  445. Brother God still loves you. It's going to be all right.

  446. He's going to thank you through the hard times.

  447. He's never going to leave you. He's never going to forsake you.

  448. He's able to do exceeding and abundantly.

  449. Above all, we ask or think, Come on, we got to lift one another

  450. up. Come on.

  451. We got to encourage one another. We've.

  452. I'm sorry you're sitting back here alone, but you won't be

  453. sitting here. We got him fenced in.

  454. Nobody can get to him. He can't get out.

  455. Come on, God saying, why don't somebody pray for him?

  456. Somebody needs to find a way to get in.

  457. Come on, I said. Somebody needs to find a way to

  458. get in. We need to get him out.

  459. It's going to take more than one.

  460. There's some people that's behind the fence that's going to

  461. be there till somebody comes and drags them out of there.

  462. You can't leave them where they're at.

  463. You got to do something about it.

  464. Oh, yeah. Somebody's going to help.

  465. Oh, yeah. Thank you.

  466. Jesus. Help him out there.

  467. He just get a hold of his hand. Help him out there.

  468. Come on. Come on, you ever, did you?

  469. Do you ever, do you ever think that the person is in bondage

  470. when he's at the altar and the only way he's going to be set

  471. free if you go up and help him get free?

  472. Sometimes you can't pray your way out of it.

  473. But if I can get enough people on the same page, they can help.

  474. Pray me out. Come on.

  475. He's real. If we're the body of Christ,

  476. when somebody in our church is hurting, Sister Sam, when you

  477. hurt, if I'm where I would it be, I hurt for you.

  478. You're not doing it alone. You're not in this.

  479. There's somebody praying for you.

  480. That's why we got the prayer band.

  481. Come on church. That's why we got a prayer band.

  482. So when somebody's got problems that you can call pastor, you

  483. can call me, you can call Brother Mason, Sister Mason,

  484. come on. And they'll put you on the

  485. prayer band. And I don't I've not counted up

  486. how many there's there's 12 different.

  487. There's a bunch, the whole bunch of people praying.

  488. Now, I'm going to tell you something when this happens.

  489. Me and my wife. I thank God for my wife.

  490. I give her honor tonight. She's put up with me for over 59

  491. years. We're headed for 60.

  492. And it ain't been easy for either one of us.

  493. I'm going to take you know what you do?

  494. You learn to work with each other.

  495. Come on. That's your partner.

  496. She's my help me. Come on.

  497. She's my greatest cheerleader. She cheers me up when I'm down.

  498. She encourages me when I'm discouraged.

  499. She preaches to me when I need preach too.

  500. Hallelujah. We got to get on the same page.

  501. We've been on the same page for 59 years plus time.

  502. We went together and was engaged and all that.

  503. In fact, we kind of been on the same page ever since I was about

  504. 7 years old and then about 11 years old when I was playing

  505. guitar on the platform at Kingsburg Pentecostal Church.

  506. She began to smile at me and I said well that's see what you

  507. don't knows. Sister Mcgee's mom and dad was

  508. going there when she was born. This church, come on.

  509. But we've been on the same page. When we come to church we need

  510. to get on the same page. Sure.

  511. The brother Reese we ought to have somebody at the door may

  512. come in. So what page you on?

  513. Well, I'm on page one. OK, good.

  514. I'll write you down. Come on, come on.

  515. We need to stay on first page through the singing, through the

  516. worship. We don't come to page 2 until

  517. the message starts and Oh yeah, I'm going to say it.

  518. I'm going ahead. And what we need to understand

  519. that in that first page, it needs to be built.

  520. There ought to be a crescendo by the time the pastor gets up that

  521. he don't have to just get up and and shout his braids out.

  522. He'd get up to say Hallelujah and the church goes wild.

  523. If I remember those days, both Freddy, I will never forget

  524. this. I don't you was probably there

  525. that night was first church. I will never forget it.

  526. I'll tell you why, because I had never seen Brother Homer Madden

  527. move. I was preaching one night.

  528. The Lord was moving in that place and all at once Brother

  529. Homer Madden got up and got out of his spook.

  530. He said, huh. He he the only place we had to

  531. walk is up around the pulpit and around and he he got the pulpit.

  532. He said I just had to take a walk.

  533. It shouldn't have been him alone.

  534. Come on. I don't remember.

  535. There was probably other people did.

  536. It happens. It happened.

  537. It still ought to happen. When somebody's walking,

  538. somebody's running. Come on.

  539. Be the first stuff for your peer then.

  540. I'm going to not let him do it alone.

  541. I've been up here too long already.

  542. Thank you, Jesus. How?

  543. I better hurry. Thank you, Jesus.

  544. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus.

  545. Now for if they fall, one will lift his fellow up.

  546. Corey. But whoa, everybody said whoa to

  547. him. That is alone.

  548. I wondered how long it's going to take for somebody to just

  549. help brother code out. Thank you, sister, because it's

  550. if we come on, we can, we can fence them in and they'll never

  551. get help. But if we'll free them and make

  552. them a part of us. Come on.

  553. You shouldn't have to feel alone in this church.

  554. You ought to have to feel like you got plenty of company to

  555. help you worship Woo. You ought to feel like you're a

  556. part of the church. Who knows, right?

  557. But my brother Mike Penrod out here doing this show.

  558. Oh Jesus, we might have a sister Adam going.

  559. We might after might have sister Sheila American and it keeps

  560. building, building. I ain't got that fine voice like

  561. she does and get up there. She does somebody, Brother Reed,

  562. if we could all get on the same page.

  563. What I'm trying to tell you, this can happen every service

  564. night. If we'll get on page one and

  565. begin, God will take us through it.

  566. Hallelujah. Well, all right.

  567. Thank you, Jesus. 2 lie together.

  568. They have heat, but how can warm one warm alone?

  569. You know, we got snugglies, Sister McGee and I in our first

  570. trailer we had we learned to snuggle.

  571. We had a wonderful big trailer. It was 38 by 8.

  572. Lot of windows, windows every place, shadow boxes if pretty.

  573. It's just, it's just gorgeous. It's just little.

  574. It had a tub about. You got in, you couldn't get

  575. out, you fenced in. We slept.

  576. We had one bedroom. Paula was born.

  577. She slept on the couch. Well, I slept in the baby bed

  578. 1st and then slept on the couch. Come on.

  579. I'm talking about being on the same page.

  580. It'd get cold and guess what? In our bedroom, there was a door

  581. there and those windows and they'd get frost on them walls.

  582. 2 is better than one. I guarantee you.

  583. In those circumstances, you thank God for your wife.

  584. Oh yeah, I'm getting here, y'all.

  585. I'm. I'm trying to close here, but

  586. I'm having a hard time. Hallelujah.

  587. And a three fold cord is not quickly broken.

  588. In other words, if I get on page #1 Brother Reese and I stay

  589. there long enough, come on. If there's two of us and we get

  590. on the same page and the Lord says, hey, my Lord, this is all

  591. right, I believe I'll just join their worship.

  592. Come on. I I believe I'll just start

  593. letting things happen. I'm going to make it happen.

  594. Come on. You don't understand what I'm

  595. saying, but I'm saying we need to not leave anybody alone.

  596. But when we get together, we need to do something about our

  597. position and we need to worship the Lord till the Lord joins in

  598. our party. And if we can get 2 by twos in

  599. here and God joins 2 by twos, before you know it the house is

  600. full of God and it's none of us. Jesus, Hallelujah.

  601. Well, glory Hallelujah. Thank you Jesus, it's not

  602. quickly broken. Hallelujah.

  603. Notice something reference only Mark six and seven Jesus sent

  604. his disciples out two by two. I'm I'm I'm just giving you some

  605. proof in the word Acts 3 and one Peter and John reference only

  606. went up over to the temple together at the hour of prayer

  607. glory. You didn't catch it, did you?

  608. Peter and John, he couldn't pray for an hour just for his Jesus,

  609. come on, when he was in the Garden of Gethsemane, but now

  610. he's going up with John, they're going to pray an hour.

  611. Woo glory. Come on church, we can do it if

  612. we want to and we have to. We can do it.

  613. Hallelujah. First Corinthians 12/12 for as

  614. the body is 1 and that many members and all the members of

  615. that body being many our one body, so also is Christ.

  616. Oh glory Hallelujah, I'm trying to hurry y'all Hallelujah.

  617. First Corinthians 12/17/18 of the whole body where I wherever

  618. the hearing of the whole body where the ear where is the

  619. smelling But now verse #18 has God set members every one of

  620. them in the body as it has pleased him.

  621. Come on, He's put us there for a purpose.

  622. Oh Jesus, Hallelujah. I got to get the movement.

  623. I I know Hallelujah, glory Hallelujah say First Corinthians

  624. 12/25 that there should be no system.

  625. Everybody said division, division or split in the body.

  626. Glory Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus.

  627. We need this church, we who should have the same care one

  628. for another. There's no big eyes and little

  629. you's in the church. We're all servants, one to

  630. another. The pastor is a servant to you.

  631. You're a servant to him. We are all servants.

  632. Oh glory, Hallelujah. Praise God, Hallelujah.

  633. Let me tell you right now, there are no unimportant members in

  634. the body. We all have got a function.

  635. Everybody said to everybody, everybody's got a function.

  636. Grandma Camel used to say, in fact, she even, she told I was,

  637. I was going to throw this in a while ago because it fits so

  638. well. My brother Poole talked to me

  639. and I don't know, it might even be before that.

  640. He's the grandma spoke. She I believe it was in fact,

  641. maybe even when we was going together.

  642. The grandma camels told my my fiance at that time she said,

  643. Sue, what are you going to do if God calls Paul to preach.

  644. Maybe she reckoned the first recognize it.

  645. I don't know. It took three different people

  646. before I swallowed it and went ahead.

  647. Jesus, stubborn. It's like you all are.

  648. I'm going to bring this out. I'm trying to come close, y'all.

  649. I'm about done. See, I I've got an arm, you

  650. know. Come on.

  651. I'm talking about a member of the body.

  652. I've got an arm. But guess what?

  653. All is connected to that arm. Different function.

  654. I've got fingers. 5 fingers and a thumb. 4 fingers and a thumb.

  655. I've got a risk. It can go like this.

  656. Hallelujah. That elbow has got a bend.

  657. I can straighten it out. I can kick the devil.

  658. Hit him with my fist. I've got a shoulder that I can

  659. move around. I can get a wind up.

  660. Throw at him. Come on, come on.

  661. That's just the arm. That's just the arm.

  662. And you're all part of the body. Think of all the movements.

  663. I think the Jewish people, I've read this someplace when my end

  664. of in my study, I don't know whether it's true or not.

  665. Probably all of a sudden use sinus and and people of the body

  666. know. But they said the Jew claims

  667. there's 248 limbs in the body movements, whatever.

  668. I don't know. But I know one thing.

  669. The body's supposed to work together, huh.

  670. Come on, have you ever thought about it?

  671. Just think what all you can do with all the parts of your body.

  672. That's the way it ought to be in the House of God, I said.

  673. That's the way it ought to be in the House of God.

  674. Everybody needs to find their place in the body and we need to

  675. function in it. Hallelujah, Hallelujah.

  676. Without the function of one of these, we can't do what we

  677. could. Do you hear me?

  678. If a member of our body hurts, all hurts.

  679. I said if a member of our body burst, every one of us are hurt.

  680. I make sure finger your whole body's going to.

  681. If one of them hurts, then we need to all gather around that

  682. one body because we all hurt, Sister Sam.

  683. When you're hurting, man, we all are to be carried to your side.

  684. Brother Freddy, when you're going through problems at work,

  685. we all are together around because a member of the body is

  686. hurting and we need to help lift them up.

  687. We lift one another up. Come on, come on.

  688. Yeah, Yeah. You're part of my problem.

  689. I'm part of yours. Glory Hallelujah.

  690. Thank you, Jesus. We got to bear another one

  691. another's burdens. Bible said in Galatians 6 and 2,

  692. Hebrews 13, five says let your conversation be without

  693. covenants. Be content with such thing as

  694. you have, for he has said, I will never leave thee nor

  695. forsake thee. Can I tell you that that's a

  696. divine adage that was passed down from the very beginning,

  697. even though it may not say that in just every word that it says

  698. it some way or other, that I will never leave you?

  699. In Genesis 2815, he talked to Jacob that way, and Deuteronomy

  700. 31 and 6 and 31 and eight. He talked to Israel and told

  701. them that in Joshua one and five.

  702. He told Joshua that in First Chronicles 2820.

  703. He told Solomon that come on church, the Lord don't want his

  704. people alone. I said the Lord don't want his

  705. people alone. He wants them together on the

  706. same page, worshipping together, praying together.

  707. Oh Jesus, I'm closing first Samuel 23 verse #23 Moreover, As

  708. for me, God forbid that I should sin against the Lord and ceasing

  709. to pray for you, but I would teach you the good in the right

  710. way. And I wrote a little notation

  711. down below that says even for your enemies, we're sinning if

  712. we don't pray for our enemies. They need saved.

  713. The murderer needs saved. I'm just telling you the truth.

  714. That's right. The people in prison needs help.

  715. Thank God we got a pastor that visits and preaches to him, and

  716. we had one just here the other night.

  717. Thank God that he's still taking care of people in prison.

  718. Now I don't know if God can get a hold of you tonight as we

  719. stand. Thank you for helping me preach.

  720. I appreciate it. I'll go home and sleep good

  721. tonight. I better I got to take Sister

  722. McGee the Evansville morning. Hallelujah.

  723. Shut insurance. We forgot about you.

  724. That's right. We still pray for you.

  725. Call came in just the other day outside.

  726. Sister McGee was inside. I was outside busy working.

  727. She come out the front door. I don't remember who it was at

  728. the time, but somebody put in a prayer band.

  729. You know what? When that happens, no matter

  730. where I'm at, no matter where Sister McGee is, I we meet in

  731. the middle. We pray earnestly.

  732. God, take care of it. This is a brother.

  733. This is a sister. It's part of the body.

  734. Lord, if they're hurting, I'm hurting.

  735. Lord, heal them right now. Bring deliverance right now.

  736. Because why 2 are better than one.

  737. Thank you, Jesus, the altar is open.

  738. I don't want anybody to be fenced in tonight.

  739. Go ahead, bring the Mace. You're my brother.

  740. You're my sister.
