  1. Man Hallelujah, you can read his word Amen and all the mysteries

  2. and the secrets are revealed Amen And his word the Bible in

  3. Romans chapter number one said that even even nature closes in

  4. on his divine power and his Godhead Amen.

  5. Nature itself Amen informs us of all these things Hallelujah.

  6. What a great spirit of the Lord, what a great spirit of the Lord.

  7. I want to be mindful of that that spirit of God Amen.

  8. I want to involve myself in with that all that made me think of

  9. Scripture actually in the the book of Exodus Amen.

  10. The Bible says that the children of Israel had arrived at Mount

  11. Sinai after leaving Egypt. That's where they would receive

  12. the law of God. The Lord had already told Moses,

  13. he says, I'm going to come down. There's going to be smoke,

  14. lightning, fire, all this thunderings said you, you said

  15. you set a perimeter. So I'm a holy God, right?

  16. I'm a holy God. So you set a perimeter where the

  17. people can get back close to me and hear me and what I have to

  18. say and and so on and so forth. And the Bible basically tells us

  19. that all of this came about and it was so.

  20. And the people saw the lightning and the Thunder and the smoke,

  21. and Moses even told him, sanctify yourself for three days

  22. and then come and draw close into the Lord.

  23. The Bible says when they saw that and they really experienced

  24. the nearness of God, when they really experienced the nearness

  25. of God, the Bible plainly says that they removed and then went

  26. and stood afar off and they told Moses, Moses, why don't you talk

  27. to us rather than us hearing from God?

  28. This is in your Bibles. Why don't you talk to us rather

  29. than hearing from God? And the Bible says they just

  30. kept standing afar off as Moses drew near the darkness, the

  31. thick darkness where God was. I hope this week, Bishop, that

  32. we can draw back close to where the fire and the smoke, that we

  33. won't stand afar off. I felt God's presence come down.

  34. When you think about it, that in part really explains why there

  35. was ever this whole mediation of a man between a nation and a

  36. people because they said we like you God, but we don't want to

  37. get that near. We don't want to get that close.

  38. And it would take this whole generation of time through all

  39. the offices of a priest of the Old Testament and Jesus Christ

  40. being the mediator between God and man, Christ Jesus, that

  41. tempt he spoke of that after, then finally the death, burial

  42. and resurrection. It tore down that whole system

  43. that all of us can go boldly. What was that getting back to?

  44. It was getting back to God's original plan of being close to

  45. his people. Man, I feel the Holy Ghost.

  46. Thank you, Jesus, Hallelujah, Amen.

  47. Let's see what we can do tonight, huh?

  48. Some other consecrative things tonight with communion, foot

  49. washing, and you can throw my first slide up there and I'll

  50. control it, try to the best of my ability, control it from

  51. here. Amen.

  52. This evening, we're not going to be going right into a scripture

  53. right here. I'm just going to ask for us to

  54. pray. I know we've been doing a lot of

  55. praying, but we need God's help in the next little while.

  56. Father, I love you tonight, God. I'm so grateful, Lord, for your

  57. spirit, God, that we have both experienced and felt God thus

  58. far. God, I pray, Lord, that this is

  59. just a good stage, Lord, this evening for Lord, your Spirit to

  60. continue to minister. God through God, these these

  61. memorials, these ordinances, God of your word, I pray God to

  62. concentrate upon aspects Lord of our lives that we live unto you.

  63. I pray God that you're able to help us now in the next little

  64. while and will not fail to thank you for it.

  65. In Jesus name everybody say Amen.

  66. Amen once again Pat, so good to see you tonight.

  67. Amen. Does my heart well to see your

  68. Amen face here this evening. Pat isn't a stranger Amen to the

  69. first Apostolic Church. I OFT times joke he's the only

  70. reason why that we have a a tape CD or any type of ministry like

  71. that. It was here because he used to

  72. buy every CD, every tape that ever got got put out from here.

  73. And so now it's all online. So you know anybody.

  74. But if you want, if you ever need something that's from the

  75. archive, you can probably see Pat.

  76. He might have it, you know, still yet, maybe some cobwebs on

  77. it, I don't know. Amen.

  78. But you can see see him for that here this evening, Communion

  79. foot washing. So I'm going to talk about both

  80. tonight. Going to talk about communion

  81. first and then I'm going to talk about foot washing.

  82. Both of these things throughout the history of the church, not

  83. just biblical history, but history since I've been alive

  84. have been practices, morals, if you will, ordinances of the

  85. church that we have have participated in.

  86. And that is even told some of these things that they are to be

  87. done forever or even as Jesus spoke to them when he washed the

  88. disciples feet in John chapter 13.

    John 13 chapter mention

  89. That as I have done unto you, go and do likewise.

  90. A type of scenario. And so something that's always

  91. interesting to me. That's me bro, a man.

  92. Can you get nice one slide back up there.

  93. I might have went the wrong direction.

  94. I don't know if I'm going frontwards or backwards tonight.

  95. All right, it did it again. Can you do it one more time?

  96. Amen. There we go.

  97. The greatest commandments foot wash in the communion and I've

  98. taught on this for years, right? We do this typically we try to

  99. get it in every year, but foot Washington Communion really

  100. parallel to aspects of of commandments in reality, when

  101. the lawyer came to Jesus and he was testing him and trying him

  102. about, you know what, what are the 2 greatest commandments And

  103. we, we would say, and maybe you know what those two commandments

  104. are, but being that you would love God, just just making them

  105. simple in a nutshell, that you would love God and that you

  106. would love your neighbor as yourself.

  107. And he said all the other commandments, right.

  108. All these 613 other commandments that we read of in, in the

  109. Jewish law and so forth. All those others hang or hinge

  110. upon those two commandments. And, and that's really true,

  111. Sister Jessica, even whenever we look like in Exodus 20 of just

  112. the 10 commandments, right? These two of loving God and

  113. loving your neighbor, we can take the 10 commandments and

  114. even start hanging them on one or the other.

  115. Because if you love God, then you will not make any graven

  116. image, all right, which is one of the 10 commandments.

  117. If you love God, you won't worship anything else but Him

  118. alone, which is one of those commandments.

  119. This. And then likewise, if you get

  120. the second part of Exodus chapter 20, like the last five

    Exodus 20 chapter mention

  121. of the last portions of those commandments, if you love your

  122. neighbor, you will not kill, you will not steal from them.

  123. You will not bear false witness against your neighbor, right?

  124. And so you have these other things that that you will not do

  125. so based upon these two. So whenever you look at

  126. communion and foot washing, they really have their places up on

  127. or within these two categories. When we talk about communion,

  128. we're going to talk about it here in just a little bit.

  129. Communion is that time for reflection of community number

  130. one, we're here to commune with God through communion, but we're

  131. thinking up on that death, that burial, that resurrection, what

  132. he had done for us, right to open up a door of communication,

  133. a communion with us. And so we're thinking back on

  134. that. So it's our love for God aspect.

  135. And then when we talk about foot washing, right, Jesus washing

  136. all the disciples feet and then him saying, as you see me do, go

  137. and do likewise whenever we do this.

  138. And yes, it is an act of humility to do such a thing, but

  139. we'll look at it here in a little bit.

  140. It's it's that loving your neighbor type of aspect that is

  141. that is being concentrated on here.

  142. But interestingly enough, both have to do with love.

  143. It's just where that love is directed in the moment of that

  144. ordinance or in the moment of of that memorial, our loving God

  145. and expression, if you will, of our love of God or a love for

  146. our neighbor. And so when we talk about these

  147. things, foot washing, foot communion, we see them depicted

  148. in the scripture and we might say, well, they're, they're just

  149. symbols or they just stand for something.

  150. Then they do like many things, even in the Old Testament that

  151. were shadows of of good things that were to come.

  152. There's a lot of symbolism in the scripture.

  153. But to say that they don't mean anything or if there's there's

  154. no ground of importance to them would be a farce in reality.

  155. Because when you look at some of the Old Testament symbols, they

  156. stood and had meaning for something that a greater

  157. representation than what they were even were.

  158. We look at the Old Testament, we look at all of the the feast

  159. days, if you will, that's throughout the Old Testament

  160. like like like Passover and unleavened bread and Pentecost

  161. and Tabernacles. We say, well, that that's just

  162. all. Yes, but what it represented,

  163. what it stood for, what it's connected to is so much larger

  164. and so vital and so important. The sacrificial system, the Old

  165. Testament, we know, of course, that was totally fulfilled in

  166. Christ Jesus, but it stood for something that represented

  167. something that had a lot of meaning.

  168. The Tabernacle in point, right? The outer court, the inner

  169. court, the holies of holies, all those things in their symbols

  170. and representations of other things.

  171. So symbols do mean something. And I've said this for years in

  172. in teaching this at different times and you all getting off

  173. easy because I'm putting them both in one rather than having a

  174. night set aside for each, which what I did for several years.

  175. But nonetheless, if we say that the symbols don't mean anything,

  176. then Moses should have been able to enter the promised land

  177. though he smote a rock. There's a New Testament

  178. scripture in Corinthians says that rock that followed them was

  179. Christ. Well, it's a symbolism, an

  180. embolism that that rock was Christ.

  181. But even him smiting the symbol kept him from entering the

  182. promised land. And so it means something.

  183. We, we have other stories like Joe Ash, the young king,

  184. whenever he went to visit Elijah.

  185. Elijah is a old man at this point.

  186. He's laying in the bed and, and Joash is asking some instruction

  187. about war and about fighting. And this causes Elijah to rise

  188. out of his bed. And Elijah tells Joash, he says

  189. grab, grab your bow. And he does.

  190. And that old prophet puts his hands up on Joash's hands and he

  191. says open the window, point the arrow and he says shoot the

  192. arrow. And he did.

  193. And he, he told Josh he says take the arrows and he said beat

  194. them on the ground. The Bible says, I think Joash

  195. hit like 3 times up on the ground and, and Elijah said back

  196. to him, he said, I wish you had just, you know, done more than

  197. that. He said as a result of this,

  198. you're only going to defeat, I believe it was Syria.

  199. I said you're only going to defeat them three times.

  200. He said I was what was it? It was just a symbol, arrows,

  201. but in his beating he was embolizing the type of

  202. deliverance he was going to have.

  203. And so if none of this means anything, then he could have had

  204. victory without beating him more times and so and so forth.

  205. So you get the concept of the idea that we're portraying here.

  206. And so when we look at these things, the Last Supper that is

  207. written about in Matthew chapter 26, and you see it also in the

    Matthew 26 chapter mention

  208. other harmony of the Gospels, the Lords Supper was instituted

  209. in the same night that the Passover meal had taken place.

  210. All right, you we read about Passover in Exodus chapter #12

  211. and Exodus chapter #13 the Lords Supper was instituted in that

  212. same night. And to understand this, the Old

  213. Testament sacrificial system, right, It always required blood

  214. whenever the priest was going to enter into the holies of holies

  215. where the Ark of the Covenant was.

  216. And up above on top of the Ark of the Covenant was that thing

  217. called the mercy seat. Whenever all that took place, it

  218. always required blood. The priest could not enter in

  219. there on the Day of Atonement without blood, all right, for

  220. him to be there. And no, in the book of Exodus

  221. you will read of this the first time with Moses.

  222. He told Moses, he said, I will meet with, with, with the

  223. priest. I will meet with my people

  224. between the cherubim that are up upon the mercy seat.

  225. His, his presence would come down in that cloud.

  226. And there would be, if you will, communion, communion with the

  227. Spirit of the Lord on that mercy seat.

  228. But you didn't get into that place of communion without

  229. blood. But if there is blood, there is

  230. a body that the blood has come from.

  231. There's blood, there's body that the blood come from.

  232. Sacrificial blood already denotes there must be a

  233. sacrificial body. And so for us, when we talk

  234. about communion, then we talk about the fruit of the vine that

  235. Jesus will say, take, this is my blood of the New Testament.

  236. And when we talk about the body, we're talking about, he says,

  237. this bread, this is my body taken, eat of it.

  238. Jesus Christ ultimately being the ultimate sacrifice that

  239. provided both the body and the blood for communion, All right,

  240. for communion with the Lord. All of that is typified in the

  241. Old Testament, Amen. Through the sacrificial system

  242. and even through the mercy seat in the ark of the covenant.

  243. Let's look at this particular Scripture tonight of Hebrews

  244. chapter #9 and verse #7 he says, But into the second went the

  245. high priest alone once every year.

  246. This is the Day of Atonement. Look again.

  247. Not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the

  248. errors of the people. So blood was required.

  249. Body was required. Blood and body, a man of food,

  250. of the vine and bread, if you will.

  251. It was the Old Testament standard.

  252. And so that's what we even see, though taking place even with

  253. Passover. When we come to Passover, many

  254. may be familiar with the story of Exodus chapter #12 it is that

  255. last plague of Egypt, the death of all of the first born, right?

  256. And Moses came with the plea, a man for the children of Israel,

  257. that in order for the death Angel to pass by us and it not

  258. to be our first born, it's going to require the slaughtering of a

  259. lamb. And we're going to have to take

  260. the blood of that lamb. And we're going to put that

  261. blood up on the lentil and up on the doorpost.

  262. And so that whenever the death Angel comes by, when it sees the

  263. blood, it will Passover us. And so once again, we have a

  264. sacrificial body and the sacrificial blood, right?

  265. The body is what made the blood available.

  266. But it was also you could have sacrificed the lamb and had

  267. blood in a basin and never had blood on a doorpost and a lentil

  268. because it involved the people, huh?

  269. It involved the sacrificial animal that gave us the blood.

  270. But it involves the people for the appropriation of the blood

  271. up on the House. And if you'll remember, he said

  272. it 1 lamb per family. And he said if if there be more

  273. lamb, then there is family. He said, call over your

  274. neighbor. In other words, we don't want

  275. any lamb wasted. We don't want any lamb wasted.

  276. And so they would call over their neighbors.

  277. And on that night of Passover, due to a sacrificial body and

  278. sacrificial blood, the children of Israel were released from 400

  279. years of bondage that they had been out.

  280. There was deliverance. There was a freedom, Amen.

  281. And so when we think of this, whenever we go tonight, we take

  282. communion. We have the food of the vine and

  283. bread. It's all these things that we

  284. are remembering, Sister Grace, we're remembering that children

  285. of Israel, their deliverance, Amen.

  286. Leaning upon a sacrificial body and the sacrificial blood.

  287. And so this is important. The Bible says in Exodus 12 and

  288. verse #14 it says these words and this day shall be unto you

  289. Speaking of Passover for a memorial, and you shall keep it

  290. a feast to the Lord throughout your generations.

  291. You shall keep it a feast by an ordinance forever, he says.

  292. This is for a memorial. Has anybody ever been to a

  293. memorial? Have you ever been to the 9/11

  294. memorial or some other memorial in our country?

  295. You go there, whatever it is, they might have something there

  296. that reads that accounts of whatever took place and

  297. happened. It's sometimes a very somber,

  298. according to what it's memorializing time and you're

  299. standing there and what are you doing as an individual?

  300. A lot of times I've been to places like there in Oklahoma

  301. City, OK, where there was the, the, the bombing there that took

  302. place. And I've been to that memorial

  303. and they have a time of silence and what's going on.

  304. Everybody is reflecting on that day and what took place on that

  305. day and what happened on that day.

  306. And so when we later do what we do, that is part of, in case in

  307. point, what's taking place. This is a memorial.

  308. We're remembering Calvary, We're remembering that the, the, the,

  309. the Egyptians that are mourning their first born, but Israel

  310. going out with all of their first born because they had a

  311. sacrificial body and a sacrificial blood.

  312. Amen. He says, So this is a memorial.

  313. This is an ordinance that we keep year by year going on to

  314. verse #17 of Exodus chapter #12 the Bible says, And ye shall

  315. observe the feasts of leavened bread.

  316. For in this, and this is awesome to me, always has been.

  317. For in this self sane day have I brought your armies out of the

  318. land of Egypt. Wherefore therefore shall you

  319. observe this day in your generations by an ordinance

  320. forever. So he's again talking to him

  321. about Passover. He says, in this self sane day,

  322. I love this. You were delivered.

  323. But here's what I love, Brother Fred.

  324. He said I brought you out as armies.

  325. Think with me for a moment. In just a split moment of time,

  326. they went from slaves. Someone tell them what to do,

  327. when to do, how to do. They went from slaves to be an

  328. exiting Egypt as an army. How?

  329. A sacrificial body and sacrificial blood, ladies and

  330. gentlemen, that's what we consider.

  331. That's what I consider as a New Testament St. as I do communion.

  332. I understand what I was enslaved to, what I was bound to, but in

  333. the moment that I became a partaker, if you will, of the

  334. blood in the body and everything that Christ sacrifice did for

  335. me, I come forth not as a slave anymore.

  336. I if I can say I'm a soldier in the army of the hear me, I come

  337. out as an army, I come out as a soldier.

  338. That's reason to contemplate Amen and commune with the Lord.

  339. I've used this quote several seven years ago.

  340. It's AW Tozer from the pursuit of God in John 17 as Jesus

  341. Christ high priestly prayer. It's Christ in his flesh crying

  342. out to God, crying out to the Spirit.

  343. And he's praying over the disciples.

  344. He's praying over those that would come to him based upon

  345. their word and their testimony and his prayers, Lord, that they

  346. would be one as we are one, right?

  347. That they would be one as we are one.

  348. And we know that God was manifested in the flesh.

  349. Corinthians tells us, to wit, that God was in Christ.

  350. The New Testament tells us he was manifested.

  351. So there is this oneness and connectivity between Christ,

  352. Amen, the, the flesh of man and the Spirit of God in that man.

  353. And he says that they may be one.

  354. This is what AW Tozer said. He said, has it ever occurred to

  355. you that 100 pianos all tuned to the same fork, tuning fork are

  356. automatically tuned to each other?

  357. I've said this before, because I don't have to come in and, and,

  358. and take a piano and I can't tune a piano anyway, mind you,

  359. but I can't tune a piano and then take that piano and tune

  360. another piano to that one. That would be very rigorous to

  361. have to do that. Imagine these poor guys at tune

  362. pianos before Brother Mike Wilson.

  363. He does. Could you imagine him having to,

  364. you know, have a old upright piano on on some carts somewhere

  365. as he goes to tune pianos because he's going to base it up

  366. off the tune of that one? No, he goes through with a

  367. tuning fork, and yet in all these places he uses that same

  368. tuning fork. If you could bring all the

  369. pianos together that he tuned with that tuning fork, they

  370. would all be in tune with each other.

  371. There's something that happens with communion because we want,

  372. we want, yes, communion with God.

  373. But here's the marvelous thing that happens when we get in

  374. communion with God, we get in in rightness with each other.

  375. Sometimes we get overly, you know, down as far as I got to

  376. get right with brother freeze and oh, then I got with Jessica

  377. over here, you know, and then man, I'm drive myself mad.

  378. But if Reese can get right with God and communion with God and

  379. Jessica can get communion with God and pastor can get communion

  380. with God, you know what happens? We're automatically in communion

  381. with each other because we got there is I mean, even later

  382. night when you think about and I say this all times and that's

  383. OK. I'll I'll repeat till I died,

  384. you know, sometimes some repetitions how we learn.

  385. But you, you take the fruit of the vine and all these, these

  386. grapes that have been been squashed and squished and all

  387. those other words that you can say crap, you know, to produce

  388. this juice that whenever I partake of it, a lot of

  389. different grapes that they're all smashed together and they

  390. make this the substance. And then whenever I drink it

  391. later tonight, at the same time that you drink it, I have the

  392. same taste in my mouth that you have in your mouth.

  393. And whenever I eat that bread, that's that corn that's been

  394. bruised and crushed and made into a flour type thing and the

  395. right ingredients added for a bread to take place.

  396. Then whenever I eat that, what's in my mouth is in your mouth

  397. there, there is a communion, if you will.

  398. We are all involving ourself in the same thing at the same time.

  399. And there's a communion then that happens.

  400. So just to specify the Old Testament, the Old Testament is

  401. the origin. The Old Testament is the origin.

  402. Passover, think of that is the very origin really of communion.

  403. And then whenever you get into the Gospels like Matthew and

  404. John, it is really then the institution.

  405. Whenever the Bible says whenever supper had ended, then they went

  406. to wash feet. But we see that the Lord's

  407. Supper was instituted during the time of Passover and so provides

  408. then a bridge or connection from the Old Testament to the New

  409. Testament. But then in Corinthians, the

  410. apostle Paul in First Corinthians chapter #11 he kind

  411. of goes over with some clarification concerning how we

  412. observe, Amen. Communion.

  413. This is what Paul says in First Corinthians 1118 and 19.

  414. Amen. I'm glad you guys had my time

  415. going so we can keep this straight.

  416. For first of all, when you come together in the church, I hear

  417. that there be divisions among you.

  418. And I partly believe that he says for there must be also

  419. hears hearsays, which means sex or party or or clicks like

  420. groups, right factions. We could say it like that said

  421. there's there's there's factions, there's parties,

  422. there's clicks among you that they which are approved may be

  423. made manifest among you. We just go on just a little

  424. further here, he says, for he that eateth and drinketh

  425. unworthily, he's talking here about communion.

  426. Unworthily means irreverently. And here's where some people

  427. lose it, right, because they see unworthily as unworthy.

  428. Two different words, two different words in the English

  429. language, two different words here.

  430. For sure. If we were based in our partake

  431. in the communion, based upon worth, we all just might leave

  432. right now and go home and eat sausage and Bologna and whatever

  433. hang up our hats. It would be done.

  434. It's unworthily. It's how you partake.

  435. They, they were coming in and they weren't giving it the

  436. reverence that it deserved because we're talking about

  437. Christ's death here, right? It was just kind of a haphazard,

  438. you know, thing. As a matter of fact, they, they

  439. had these kind of a feast that kind of went along with that.

  440. And it said some were coming in and they were just gorging

  441. themselves with this stuff and they were being inconsiderate of

  442. one another as they were going in the process.

  443. It was just kind of just pale male, just just totally just

  444. chaos. And he says so.

  445. So he that drinketh unworthily or irreverently eateth and drink

  446. of damnation. That word there means judgement

  447. to himself not deserve returning the Lord's body, not deserting

  448. the Lord's body. Now really whenever it says not

  449. deserting the Lord's body, that is like A2 edged sword because

  450. not deserting the Lord's body number one, with the actual

  451. fruit of the vine and the bread that is there.

  452. But number two, guess what Scripture tells us, Corinthians

  453. says that ye, we, the church is the body of Christ.

  454. So they're coming in here pushing each other aside, being

  455. very irreverent. They're not, they're not

  456. discerning or being considerate of one another and how they were

  457. even doing this. And so he says that we can't

  458. have none of that. You, we, we got to be conscious

  459. of one another because we're going to have communion with

  460. him. And as a result, communion,

  461. communion with one another. The Bible says backing back up

  462. the verse #26 which is an awesome verse in my opinion.

  463. It says, for as OFT as ye eat this bread and drink this cup.

  464. Well, how, brother McGee, why do we just do this once a year?

  465. Well, why don't we do it every quarter?

  466. Why do I? Regardless of how many times you

  467. do it, it's when you do do it that you do it in remembrance of

  468. the Lord. All right, there are some things

  469. that are taking place. There are some I know that

  470. practice like every week. My only thing about that is

  471. this. You take anything like that and

  472. you do it consistently. It sometimes can turn into a

  473. ritual and lose its message. I will state this.

  474. We are not of the persuasion, the Bible even doesn't teach

  475. this, but that when we eat the bread and we drink the fruit of

  476. the vine, that that bread actually becomes the body of

  477. Christ and that that fruit of the vine actually becomes the

  478. blood. That's that's a concept called

  479. transubstantiation. He was the sacrifice once and

  480. for all, and for that matter, when he spoke the words to them

  481. in John 6 about even taking the bread because this is my body

  482. and take this blood, it's my blood of the New Testament.

  483. Calvary hadn't happened yet, So what he was giving them in that

  484. moment we see very clearly wasn't a literal body and

  485. literal blood symbol symbol Amen.

  486. And so, but look at this, he says for as OFT as ye eat this

  487. bread and drink this cup, he said ye do shoe the Lord's death

  488. all right till he come. So this this is also because we

  489. have a past, present, future thing that's going on here.

  490. He says, as you do this here in the present, you do show forth

  491. the Lord's death, which was in the past, right?

  492. We're remembering that, we're contemplating that.

  493. He says, till he come in the future.

  494. Remember when Jesus did this with his disciples, he said, I

  495. will not drink this cup again with you until we come into my

  496. Kingdom. So there's something awesome

  497. that's going on when I do this tonight.

  498. I'm reflecting up on what he's done for me, but I'm also

  499. looking forward to him coming back for me.

  500. Amen. So there's a lot of remembrance

  501. of both what he's done and what he's going to do in the moment

  502. as we take this tonight, The body and the blood, if you will.

  503. So there's some things that took place.

  504. I, I want to look back, Sister Milen, I want to consider again

  505. tonight, Calvary, I want to take some time as I do this, and I'll

  506. probably have you do it just to think, if you can for a moment,

  507. think about a, a, a, a crown of thorns.

  508. Think about the pier, the spirit that pierced his side.

  509. Think about the cat of nine Tails that was laid up on his

  510. back with the metal and the bone that was in them that were

  511. ripping chunks of his flesh off that his very entrails insides

  512. were exposed. Think of, I mean, consider that

  513. and then remember that was for you and remember that should

  514. have been you. And so then I switched from that

  515. and I think about the one that died for me, the one that

  516. sacrificed for me, the one that shed his blood for me.

  517. He said he's going to come back for me.

  518. So that where he is, there I may be also.

  519. He's already given me his spirit and he's given me something

  520. that's going to allow my feet to get up off the ground someday.

  521. Hallelujah. Hey man, that when that last

  522. Trump sound, the dead in Christ shall arise, and we which are

  523. alive and remain shall be caught together to meet him in the air,

  524. and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

  525. I want to think about paths, but I think one reason this is

  526. personal thing, I think one reason this ordinance is in

  527. place speaks to us. How many times even the Old

  528. Testament and New Testament does Christ come, Amen.

  529. Or is that spoken? He's constantly telling his

  530. disciples basically this layman's terms.

  531. Don't forget about me over and over and over.

  532. And it's a struggle yet that we deal with today.

  533. Do I go to church? Yeah.

  534. But do you really consider, like some of the things I'm talking

  535. about just really consider. I mean, it's just, you know,

  536. it's the Easter summer. Oh, he, he died and was buried

  537. and roast again. But when we really consider

  538. sometimes we cheapen the sacrifice.

  539. So this is a purposeful moment to take remembrance, a

  540. purposeful moment to take remembrance.

  541. And so we're doing all of that. And so we're, we're, we're going

  542. to, we will examine ourselves. Corinthians tells us that we

  543. should examine ourselves, you know, before taking communion.

  544. It's a good time for repentance, you know, before taking

  545. communion to examine ourselves. And so I'm, I'm, I'm even in the

  546. process of doing I'm, I'm looking around and let me just

  547. going to advance that one. I'm looking around and I'm

  548. considering not just me about I'm considering about my

  549. brothers and sisters in Christ as well.

  550. What are we talking about? Communion.

  551. All right, so let me jump on forward to foot washing.

  552. That was the communion lesson. That usually takes an hour on a

  553. different day. So let's go on to foot washing.

  554. All right, foot washing. I mean, someone's cringing right

  555. now, you know, And you know, the fact of the matter is, you know,

  556. even still yet today, there are, there are other religions that

  557. they may not practice it corporately, but their

  558. leadership or their number one guy will choose a beggar and

  559. wash their feet. And, you know, there are certain

  560. connotations with that, that, oh, this guy must be a very

  561. humble man. He washed the beggar's feet as

  562. they broadcast it. There's something there that's a

  563. little ironic that we're going to showcase an act of humility.

  564. Sorry. Amen.

  565. And so, well, there's other things I could do.

  566. I could feed, you know, someone. Oh, yeah.

  567. Or I, I could do something else. That would be an act of

  568. humility. Sure.

  569. But there's something about foot washing.

  570. You say, well, I feel awkward. That's what I'm talking about.

  571. That's what I'm talking about. In that, then there is a sense

  572. of of a humbling because of the awkwardness of it.

  573. And the Old Testament had examples of feet that were

  574. washed. We read of Abraham and Sarah in

  575. their tent. They were visited by a few

  576. angels and Abraham, Abraham at first really didn't recognize

  577. this as such, but he seen them as guests.

  578. He offered them into his place. There he provided water or their

  579. feet so that they could wash their feet.

  580. Then there's there's a lot that's there in Sodom and he's

  581. visited by some angels again, he doesn't quite pick up on that

  582. these are angelic beans sees them as guest and he provides

  583. water for them to wash their feet.

  584. The Bible speaks that whenever Abraham sent his servant out for

  585. to find a wife for Isaac and that servant finally ends up at

  586. Laban's house searching for that bride Rebecca, that Laban

  587. invited him again and again as a as a point of hospitality, as a

  588. guest in his home, he provided water for that Abraham's servant

  589. to wash his feet. Joseph's brothers, they come and

  590. visit Joseph of Egypt. Joseph hasn't made himself yet

  591. known and to his brothers and the stewardess of Joseph's

  592. house. So guess what he did?

  593. He provided water for all these folks so that they would wash

  594. their feet. And then we we get this right.

  595. They're living in a different time than we are array.

  596. They don't have these enclosed shoes like we do.

  597. They just have like a sole. I'm not talking about SOUL.

  598. They had that too. But SOLE, the sole, you know,

  599. that all the dirt, the animals that went through the roads and

  600. what was left behind, the animals, you know, that

  601. collected it. Not, you know.

  602. And so a guest come to your home when you're going to eat at a

  603. table where you typically reclined on the elbow with your

  604. feet away from the table or over close to your neighbor.

  605. You know, a little hygiene doesn't hurt, Sister Erica, you

  606. know? Yeah.

  607. I'm going to provide you some water for your feet.

  608. The Bible even says in the book of Judges talk about an old man

  609. that brought in the Levite and his concubine and again, he

  610. provided water for their feet that they might wash their feet.

  611. And it was a big thing among Judaism, right?

  612. It was an act of service. It was an act of hospitality to

  613. provide water for someone to wash the feet of another.

  614. With that being said, I don't know if I have this on here

  615. examples I gave them. Who will wash?

  616. With that being said, typically Old Testament the guest washed

  617. his own feet, right? Or there could be those

  618. occasions where a servant or a slave, and I say that term

  619. gingerly, would come and wash the feet of the guest.

  620. There are even some occasions that the son of the host that

  621. was hosting the meeting, the son would come and wash the feet.

  622. Matter of fact, that was a very high compliment for the son to

  623. wash the feet. But the highest mark of respect

  624. was when the host himself would bend down and wash the guest's

  625. feet. Guess what is always fascinating

  626. about me? Or not about me, but about

  627. Scripture? Nothing fascinating about me.

  628. This is all you get, folks. I'm sorry to disappoint, but

  629. Amaya, typically the guest would wash their own feet.

  630. Be responsible for their own feet.

  631. But see, Jesus has always operated in the upside down

  632. Kingdom. He that wants to be the

  633. greatest, be the least. Save your life, lose it, lose

  634. your life, save it. Jesus in John 13, he's taken off

  635. the vesture that identifies his placement in society and he's

  636. girding a towel around his waist and he starts to wash each

  637. disciple's feet. On one hand, he was really the

  638. son of the host. On another hand, he was the

  639. host, the greatest, if you will, of privilege him doing what he

  640. did. But also I see this, if usually

  641. the person with the water pill that came on the journey would

  642. wash their feet, take responsibility for their feet.

  643. I see brother Pat as as Jesus goes around, he says today I'm

  644. going to take responsibility for your feet.

  645. You want to talk about a loving your neighbor scenario because

  646. here's the fact of the matter there, you can't see it, but

  647. there is a thread that knits me to you and you to me in this

  648. body. Every joint supply as the Bible

  649. says, every joint, the tendons and everything there, there is

  650. this correlation. You supply what I lack, I supply

  651. what you lack. And so in this tonight, through

  652. foot washing, you know, we're taking some time.

  653. I'm going to take some responsibility for my brother's

  654. feet. I'm going to take some

  655. responsibility for, for so and so's feet.

  656. And so, so that we see this in the act then of of foot washing.

  657. And so here's the thing, Luke chapter 22 and look at it.

    Luke 22 chapter mention

  658. I got a couple of verses here and I'm going to read to verse

  659. #27 This whole scenario that that is right here is there's

  660. some debates going on about who is the greatest among the

  661. disciples. You know, I mean, if you

  662. remember a story one time the sons of Zebedee, their Mama went

  663. and talked to Jesus one night and she said, Jesus, when they

  664. come in, whenever you come into your Kingdom, can can you give

  665. little, you know, the sons of Thunder, my boys, can you give

  666. one of them a place on the right hand and another one on the left

  667. hand? And he says, well, it's not mine

  668. to give. Can they indeed be baptized?

  669. She was just trying to posture her kids right in the in a place

  670. of importance. And we see this discussion

  671. taking place among the disciples.

  672. So they want to know, you know, who's who's the disciple, you

  673. know who's who's got it, got it all bag of chips, you know.

  674. And so verse #24 says, And there was also a strife among them,

  675. which of them should be accounted the greatest.

  676. And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise

  677. lordship over them, and they that exercise authority upon

  678. them are called benefactors. Verse #26 But ye shall not be

  679. so. But he that is greatest among

  680. you, let him be as the younger, and he that is chief, as he that

  681. doeth serve. For whether is greater?

  682. He that sitteth the meat, or he that serveth?

  683. Is not he that sitteth the meat? But I am among you.

  684. Jesus is saying this. I am among you as he that

  685. serveth. And so whenever supper has

  686. ended, I'm telling you. Leading up to this, this is the

  687. type of stuff that's going on. They're posturing for who's the

  688. greatest. So here's all these things.

  689. They're sitting in this scenario.

  690. They've all been talking about who's the greatest one, thinking

  691. they're better than the other. And among them, nobody arises to

  692. wash feet except Jesus, their master, their Lord.

  693. Supper being ended, He washes, He washes and the tensions maybe

  694. start to fall a little bit as this starts to take place.

  695. And the amazing thing about Jesus, look, he wasn't choosing

  696. with whose feet he washed. He wasn't picky.

  697. He wasn't like, well, I'll take care of Peter and Matthew, but

  698. I'm not, I'm not doing Judas. Judas was present.

  699. We're talking about gob roped in flesh, Tracy.

  700. You know what he knew as God? This guy's going to betray me.

  701. He's going to lay a kiss on my cheek in the garden.

  702. It's going to be the kiss of betrayal that's going to lead to

  703. crucifix. He knew that.

  704. And yet knowing that he bends down in front of Judas and says,

  705. I'm going to be responsible for these feet.

  706. I've oftimes said it, the Bible says that the enemy has already

  707. been dealing with Judas at this point.

  708. He is, he's trying to, he is trying to organize how and when

  709. would be the right time to betray the Lord.

  710. And I always think of it this way, that this foot washing

  711. thing was the last ditch effort for Judas because his heart was

  712. already being persuaded by the enemy.

  713. And the only thing I can say is I, this is the way I see it.

  714. The Lord's there and saying, you know what, his heart is already

  715. being swayed, but I'm still going to try to direct his feet.

  716. I'm going to I'm going to try to take responsibility for this.

  717. And so the one who betrayed him watched it.

  718. Peter, Lord, I'll go with you all the way, Lord, even to the

  719. death. Lord, I go to you that that was

  720. his play. Kennedy, I'll go with you all

  721. the way. Lord, I'm I'm your number one

  722. man all the way. And Jesus says Peter, he says,

  723. you're going to deny me three times before the cock crows.

  724. He knew that was going to happen.

  725. And yet the one that's going to the 9, there's the Lord with his

  726. towel and his wash basin, huh. He knew it.

  727. The reason why I say that we wouldn't bring one towel wash

  728. basin for some people that's done this wrong in our life, but

  729. he knew they were going to and he did it anyway.

  730. Now that's that's a big piece of humble pie.

  731. Amen to do that him doing that was not advocating that what

  732. they were going to do was right. No, not at all.

  733. That's not what he was doing, but he was trying to show them

  734. by example. Really when you look at

  735. communion again, you look at the Washington.

  736. It's all about love and who loving the Bible says in in John

  737. 13 verse one and John 13 holds the story of foot washing there

  738. in the New Testament Scripture. It's in John 13 one that the

  739. Lord speaks that he's like all these have been given to me and

  740. I'm going to love them till the end is what the Lord said.

  741. And so we see some of the verses after the foot washing and such

  742. has has taken place. John 13 verse 34 he says a new

    John 13:34

  743. commandment I give you given to you that you love one another as

  744. I have loved you that ye also love one another.

  745. Verse 35 by this y'all all men know that ye are my disciples If

  746. ye have love one to another and we're like Lord, I don't know,

  747. but you've already talked to us about loving our neighbor

  748. scenario. You've already told us about

  749. loving our neighbor. So God we're you know what's

  750. what's so new about this commandment compared to the fact

  751. that you already told us to love our neighbor.

  752. I think the prescription in that is this, that he got very plain

  753. brother Trout. It wasn't just love your

  754. neighbor, but love your neighbor as I've loved you.

  755. Wait a minute. He's giving us a gauge.

  756. He's giving us a standard to go by, right?

  757. Because we're we're, we're the type of people we always want to

  758. know how far we're supposed to go with our love, right?

  759. Tell me how much so I know where the the perimeter of the line is

  760. and I can go that far and no further.

  761. Just that was the whole story in scripture of the Good Samaritan.

  762. Really it was the whole Good Samaritan story was really about

  763. people wanting to know how far they should go with their love.

  764. That was the answer when he said there was a man that fell among

  765. thieves on his way from from Jerusalem to, to, to Jericho,

  766. that he fell amongst the thieves, right.

  767. And the priest comes and he looks over there and walks on

  768. by. And then the, the, the, the

  769. Levite comes. He kind of goes to where he is,

  770. considers the condition, but doesn't do anything.

  771. He just walks on by and then a Samaritan comes and goes to

  772. where he is, puts, puts the healing agents that he had on

  773. him on his body, sets him on his own beast and take him to the

  774. end and said if there's anything else that of the 'cause I'll

  775. take care of it the next day. What is that all about?

  776. He was dealing with people that want to know how far should we

  777. go in this love thing? Because everybody thought, you

  778. know, a priest for sure, a Levite for sure.

  779. But when you get to a Samaritan, that's the half Jew, half

  780. Gentile that they thought low down, dirty dogs.

  781. And usually whenever we tell the story, if you give no other

  782. specifications, you're usually imagining somebody like yourself

  783. of your race, of your kind as the stories being told.

  784. And So what we have here predominantly is a man among

  785. these, which they probably assumed was a Jewish person, but

  786. it was a Samaritan then that was helping the Jew.

  787. He says, you want to know how far you go.

  788. He says you go, you go priest, you go Levite, you go Samaritan,

  789. you go to the outer right, you go to the uttermost parts.

  790. That's how far love goes. And so Christ says, I've done

  791. all of this. He said I've done all this to

  792. give you an example. Love one another, but do it as I

  793. have loved you. That's the standard and what

  794. I've done until you go and do likewise.

  795. Look, if you will, at verse #44 of Luke 7.

  796. And I'm trying to tramp along here if I can get it done in 3

  797. minutes. And he turned to the woman.

  798. This is just a neat example. And again this is about love.

  799. And he turned to the woman and said unto Simon.

  800. Jesus went to Simon's house, and this woman had come in.

  801. See us Now this woman I entered in thine house, and thou gave us

  802. me no water for my feet, because that was hospitality, right?

  803. But she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the

  804. hairs of her head. Thou gave us me no kisses.

  805. But this woman, since the time I came in, if not ceased to kiss

  806. my feet again, something that was customary, my head with oil,

  807. thou didst not anoint. But this woman hath anointed my

  808. feet with ointment. Wherefore I say unto thee, her

  809. sins which are many are forgiven, and I've left you all

  810. behind, haven't I? Her sins, which are many are

  811. forgiven. For she loved everybody, say

  812. loved, loved much, but to whom little is forgiven, the same

  813. loveth little. See, it should have been Simon's

  814. responsibility to provide water. It should have been Simon's

  815. responsibility for the oil and and the gestures of greetings.

  816. All of that should have been his responsibility, he says.

  817. But this woman that has come in off the street, she's used the

  818. tears from her face, the hair on her head, and she's anointed me

  819. and she's done. You know what's you know what's

  820. provoked all of this, Simon, she loves me.

  821. She loves me. It wasn't her responsibility,

  822. Simon. This, I'm not a guest in her

  823. house, but she has come in something that's not her

  824. obligation. And she's done all of this out

  825. of love, which ties to this, what Christ did then in John 13

  826. with washing feet. You know what it was really

  827. spawning out of? It was spawning out of love for

  828. Peter and Judas and Bartholomew and each one of them with their

  829. own little quirks and nuances of life.

  830. He loved them. And so communion, I'm thinking,

  831. I'm pondering, I'm reflecting backwards and forwards.

  832. I'm loving God washing feet. I'm going to take some

  833. responsibility in your life, right?

  834. I'm going to I'm going to do unto you as he did unto them,

  835. right? It's an act of humility.

  836. Absolutely. Can you do other stuff too that

  837. does that? Absolutely.

  838. But I'm just saying he said this is the example as I have done so

  839. go and do likewise in the scripture and I'm I'm wrapping

  840. this thing up. You remember the story whenever

  841. Jesus was on trial and Pilate, it was back and forth between, I

  842. really find no fault in this man.

  843. But there was all the pressure of the crowd that he was kind of

  844. caving in and he finally asked for a basin of water and he

  845. washed his hands and he basically told the crowd, you

  846. just go do what you want with him.

  847. I am not responsible that that's what that that symbolism of him

  848. washing the hands, that's what it was portraying and telling.

  849. I'm not responsible for whatever takes place that was pilot with

  850. Jesus, right? It's your responsibility to do

  851. with it as you want. But when we look at Jesus in

  852. John 13, he's getting a basin too, but he's washing his

  853. disciples feet and he's taking responsibility.

  854. Responsibility for what even Peter thought was below him.

  855. You're not going to wash my feet, Lord Never.

  856. No, he takes a responsibility. So I guess my question tonight

  857. is this, will we grab a basin tonight for washing our hands?

  858. And it's not my responsibility or grab one for washing feet

  859. saying I'm going to invest right here.

  860. I'm going to I'm going to show an action and act of loving,

  861. loving my neighbor. Amen.

  862. If you understand with me tonight, those who desire to

  863. participate in the communion, part of the service is happening

  864. right now. If you desire to, to participate

  865. in that ask you just come by, grab one of these little cups,

  866. the wafers on top and the fruit of the vine is inside of the

  867. cup. So you can come even as I speak

  868. in orderly fashion and, and grab a cup and we're going to read

  869. some scripture and we will participate in this together.

  870. All right. And before we read the Scripture

  871. and we participate in this, we'll take a moment of time,

  872. Amen, for prayer and a reflection and asking for

  873. forgiveness if there's areas of your life that need forgiveness.

  874. And we're going to do this in the irreverent manner, of

  875. course. And we're going to consider the

  876. body that was bruised and pierced and beat up, the blood

  877. that was shed for both our sin and our sickness.

  878. We're going to do all of that here this evening.

  879. Amen. This is a memorial forever

  880. ordinance, Amen. We're going to remember the

  881. freedom deliverance of the Israelites from bondage, Amen.

  882. To our personal deliverance, Amen.

  883. The Calvary has afforded us the sacrificial body and the

  884. sacrificial blood, and there should be enough up here for

  885. everyone, Amen. To my knowledge tonight,

  886. Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah,

  887. Hallelujah, Amen, Amen. I'm asking us this evening here

  888. if we can just take a moment of time here tonight and let's just

  889. have I know we've done praying and such, but let's pray here

  890. this evening personally for yourself.

  891. If there's any iniquity your regard in your heart, I ask that

  892. you would just ask for repentance tonight.

  893. Let's talk to God and just have a moment here of consideration

  894. of has done Amen concerning Calvary for us.

  895. God trying me, Lord hearings. God, God, God, your spirit, oh

  896. God, everything that is unlike you, that's not all the light

  897. and God, that's not all. Time to the Lord with your plan.

  898. God, I want to walk. Lord, a bright Lord for you.

  899. I pray, Oh God, purge, Oh God, purge my mind and my thoughts.

  900. I pray, Oh God, I want to consider the Lord Jesus to

  901. sacrifice the Lord that was made for me.

  902. I want to consider, Oh, Lord Jesus, the meanings that were

  903. taken on my behalf, God, the blood that was shed, Lord Jesus,

  904. God for me. God, it should have been Lord,

  905. my peace, it should have been. Lord my life, God, it should

  906. have been me. God placed their Lord from that

  907. cross. The Lord it was you, God, You

  908. took my place. God.

  909. You're the ultimate Lord substitute, Lord Jesus for my

  910. life. God, I thank you, Lord, for

  911. bearing your party. Lord, my sin, I thank you.

  912. Lord, you took the handwritings of the ordinances that were

  913. against me. You nailed the Lord to a tree,

  914. and I'm grateful today, Lord Jesus, for that.

  915. I don't want it, Lord, to become Jesus in my mind.

  916. I don't want it to become Lord Jesus, God of no power to me.

  917. I wanted Lord Jesus to be as real God to me now as it was.

  918. Lord, when I first come to know you, God stirred up Lord, in my

  919. mind, stirred up God in my heart.

  920. Tell me, Lord, I just remember what has been done.

  921. But God also anticipate, Lord, that you're coming back to me,

  922. God, you're coming back for your church.

  923. You're coming back, God, for your children, Lord, to take

  924. them. Hallelujah, in the name of

  925. Jesus, I'm going to read First Corinthians Chapter 11 and verse

    1 Corinthians 11 chapter mention

  926. 24. The Bible says, and you can

  927. remove that first little flap of paper there that gives you

  928. access to that bread or that wafer.

  929. The Bible says and when he had given thanks, he break it and

  930. said, take, eat. This is my body which is broken

  931. for you. This do in remembrance of me, if

  932. you will, just put that wafer in your mouth and just remember, if

  933. you will, the broken body of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  934. Holy God, holy God, thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus verse 25

  935. says and after the same manner also he took the cup and when he

  936. had Sup saying this cup is the New Testament in my blood.

  937. This do as OFT as you drink it in remembrance of me, if you

  938. will. Tonight can partake of the fruit

  939. of the cup and remember both the blood and the body.

  940. Hallelujah Jesus, the New Testament in his blood.

  941. Hallelujah, Jesus. The law could do nothing for our

  942. sin but point out our sin, but the blood could wash away our

  943. sin. Thank you Jesus for the blood.

  944. Thank you Jesus for the body that made the blood available.

  945. Thank you Jesus for the sacrifice.

  946. God, I was so undeserving, God, so undeserving, but you did it

  947. for me anyway, God, and I have failed so many times, Lord, from

  948. the point that I first come to know you until now.

  949. But God, you forgive and your patient and your long-suffering.

  950. God, there's times I've crucified you afresh, so to

  951. speak, God with my actions, the Lord and the things that I have

  952. done. But Lord, your sacrifice is

  953. enough. Your sacrifice is enough.

  954. Your blood and body is enough. God, never will there be another

  955. sacrifice. It's the once for all, ever,

  956. forever sacrifice. Thank you Jesus tonight for it.

  957. Oh, thank you Lord Jesus for it. God, I know when you was on the

  958. cross, I was on your mind. I know you was looking through

  959. the annals of time and you seen a young little boy that was

  960. going to need salvation, going to need a cleansing of sin.

  961. And I thank you today, God, I was born a Sinner.

  962. I was born a Sinner. But God, through you I can be

  963. born again. And I'm grateful today,

  964. Hallelujah, for the sacrifice that made that available to

  965. little and me, that made that available to Paul McGee.

  966. Hallelujah, Jesus, Hallelujah, Jesus, Oh, the blood of Jesus

  967. that washes us as white as snow. Hallelujah for my sin, for my

  968. sickness. God, it still flows, it still

  969. meets the Lord God, the needs of humanity.

  970. And I'm grateful today for that. Hallelujah, Hallelujah,

  971. Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Jesus, we love you,

  972. Lord, we love you, Lord, we love you, Lord, we love you, Lord, we

  973. love you. And we thank you God.

  974. Oh God. As we do this in the present, we

  975. remember the past and look toward the future.

  976. We love God, we love you, Lord, we love you, Lord, we love you.

  977. Lord, someone say Amen. If you desire to participate in

  978. the foot washing of the service, Amen.

  979. It takes place in the fellowship hall.

  980. The middle door dividers will be closed.

  981. The women will be on this side of the fellowship hall.

  982. The men will be on that side of the fellowship hall.

  983. The women will get their water from the sink in the kitchen.

  984. All right. Pardon me.

  985. It's fine. It's just the way it is.

  986. It's like you could get it early and have cold water, whatever

  987. you want to do. And the men will get our water

  988. from the mudroom cleaning room, their brother Reese.

  989. And we'll have a time. We'll have prayer.

  990. Amen. And we'll wash one another's

  991. Amen. Feet.

  992. If you brought a towel, if you need to get it, be a good time

  993. to get it. If you're not going to

  994. participate in this part of the service, you're free to go.

  995. You're free to be dismissed at this time.

  996. But please don't forget that we're back here tomorrow night.

  997. All right? Doors are open from 7:00 and

  998. 8:00 to seven, from some from 7:00 to 8:00 for prayer here at

  999. the church. There will be prayer guides out

1000. on that table in the foyer. When you come in each night,

1001. there's a prayer guide that will be out there.

1002. That's the focus of the evening of our praying.

1003. You can take that prayer guide with you when you leave or you

1004. leave it on the table back there when you leave.

1005. Don't leave it in the sanctuary because we don't want to stress

1006. out Brother Reese. But if you, if you want to leave

1007. it, you can leave it on that table or take it home with you.

1008. Amen. God bless you tonight.

1009. Thank you for being in the House of the Lord.
