In the presence of the Lord right now God, you're all that

we need. You're all that we need.

Jesus disciples were leaving the Lord on the left hand on the

right hand and he looked at that core 12 and said you going to go

also? Where will we go?

Lord, we have those very words of eternal life.

I know today it's like, well, there's a lot of options, but I

think the disciples are caught on to something that in the real

essence of things, there is no other option.

There is no other option. I'm I'm not just in this thing

and call it a gig, call it and put whatever one of the label

you want to put on it. And and I'm got some Plan B in

my back pocket just in case this don't work out.

No, no, I'm sold out to this because all that I need is right

here, Amen. In the presence of the Lord, you

know for certainty that you've walked into the presence of God.

Sometimes with so many things in disarray and just walking into

His presence, things just start coming together and pieces start

coming together and peace starts overwhelming you, Amen.

There's nothing like the presence of God.

There's nothing like the presence of God.

If you can stand with me all across here, Amen.

Today, again, our privilege to have Evangelist Sanford, Amen.

You, most of you have been here, so I don't necessarily need to

give a formal introduction of him to you, Amen, But we are

happy that he is here. The word of the Lord has been

rich on Sunday. His spirit has been real and

tangible. Amen.

We're going to lean in tonight, aren't we going to lean in one

more time and say, God speak to me.

Can you raise your hand right now and do that?

God, speak to me tonight, Lord. God, speak to me tonight, Lord

Hallelujah, with sincerity in your voice, Amen.

Let be made known to the Lord right now as Evangelist Sanford

comes. God, speak to me tonight, Lord,

Hallelujah. Come on, let's continue to

magnify the Lord in this house. Come on, as our hands are

lifted, why don't we continue to talk to the Lord, continue to

entreat the presence of the Lord because He's in this house.

Come on, let's not rush through this.

Come on, let's not rush through this moment.

Right now, the ministry, the Holy Ghost is in this room.

Draw nigh unto God, and he will draw nigh unto.

You. Reach after the Lord that

happily you may feel after him, and find him, because he's not

far from any one of us. As they were singing that song,

my mind went to the 42nd Psalm. The Bible says as the heart

paneth after the water brooks, so paneth my soul after the oh

God as the deer longs for the water, indicating that it's been

a while since the deer had water.

Anybody know what it's like to go through seasons when it feels

like the presence of the Lord has been distant, gone through

troubles and trials, and it's just taking the wind out of you?

But aren't you glad that you? Can come in the House of the

Lord on a Monday night, and His presence is tangible.

His presence is. Almost so real that you can

reach out and grab it. And I believe what the Lord

wants to do in this house is exactly what happened in Acts

Acts 2 · chapter mention

chapter 2. Bible says there was a sound

from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind and it filled all

the house. I want the Lord to fill all the

house tonight, and I want Him to sit up on each of us, not just a

few of us leave this house strengthened, but I want the

Holy Ghost to sit on all of us. Amen.

I believe that's why the Lord is in this room.

I know you're standing. So if you have your Bibles, I

will go to Judges chapter #15 and I will begin at verse #14

Judges chapter 15, verse 14. And as you're finding that would

Judges 15:14

give honor again to be in the House of the Lord with you this

evening. Give honor to the great

leadership of this church, your pastor and his wife and family,

brother and sister McGee, and also Bishop and his wife McGee

as well, and all of you for being in the House of the Lord.

I know it's a Monday and work and probably finishing up school

if you're still in it. And life's busy, life's busy,

but you carved out time to be in the House of the Lord, and I

believe the Lord's going to honor your faithfulness tonight.

Amen. Judges chapter #15 verse 14.

Every song has just been in unison with what I feel the Lord

would have to say tonight. The Bible says in Judges 15 and

14. When he's Speaking of Samson

came unto Lehigh, the Philistines shouted against him.

The Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him.

The cords that were upon his arms became his flax that was

burnt with fire, and his bands loose from off his hands.

And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and

took it, and slew 1000 men therewith.

And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon

heaps the jawbone of an ass, have I slain 1000 men.

It came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking, that he

castaway the jawbone out of his hand, and called that place

Ramoth Lehi. And he was sore athirst and

called on the Lord and said, That was given this great

deliverance into the hand of thy servant, and now shall I die for

thirst and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised?

You're talking about swinging from one end of the pendulum to

the next and one verse. Because when verse 18 begins, he

says, Lord, you've given this great deliverance into my hand.

But by the time we get to the end of the verse, Bible says, I

fear that I'm going to die for thirst and fall into the hand of

the very enemy I just defeated. Because a lot of times victory

isn't just enough. God has more for us than just

the victory. Because the Bible says in verse

19 that God cleave a hollow place that was in the jaw and

there came water there out. And when he had drunk, his

spirit came again, and he revived.

Wherefore he called the name thereof in Hokor, which is in

Lehigh, and to this day. And he judged Israel in the days

of the Philistines, 20 years. It's a familiar story.

But I'm going to do my best to pull something out of the text

that'll minister to all of us in this room.

I want to preach to you tonight for a few moments on the subject

Springs. Of the caller.

Springs of the caller, I wonder if we one more time could lift

our hands before we're seated all over this house.

And as our hands are lifted, we could continue to entreat the

presence of the Lord and ask that His word would speak in

this house. Lord, we love you.

In Jesus name, Lord, that word that is not bound.

I pray that it would move throughout this room and it

would minister to every heart in this room, that it would bring

forth 3060 and a hundredfold in Jesus name.

And why don't you, as you being seated, give the Lord another

great handclap of praise all over the house?

And you may be seated tonight. Thank you for standing The

Battle of Hamburger Hill. It was a battle that stretched

for seven days from May the 13th until May the 20th of 1969.

The Battle of Hill 70 It was a battle that took place during

the First World War between the Canadian Corps and five

divisions of the German 6th Army.

The Battle of San Juan Hill It was a major battle of the

Spanish American War that was fought on July the 1st, 1898 and

proved to be one of the most significant battles of that very

war. The Battle of Bunker Hill.

It was fought on June the 17th, 1775 during the Siege of Boston

in the first stage of the American Revolutionary War.

And while it is known as the Battle of Bunker Hill, the

majority of combat actually took place on an adjacent heel, which

will later become known as Breeds Heel.

You see, throughout history, over 20 battles have been fought

on the heel, and then those battles were named after the

heel they were fought on. And so it was even within the

parameters of our text. Judges Chapter 15 is often

referred to as Samson's revenge. To understand why many

theologians call it that, you've got to understand that the

chapter opens by telling us that it's the time of the wheat

harvest and Samson has returned to visit his wife after a

extended period of absence. But when Samson arrives, he

finds out that during his absence his father,

mother-in-law, was giving away his wife to another man.

And so in response, Samson catches 300 foxes, sets their

tails on fire and burns both the sheaves and fields of corn which

belonged to the Philistines. The Philistines in return blame

Samson's wife along with her family, and then burn both her

and her father alive. And when the news gets back to

Samson, what the Philistines have done, he once again vows

revenge because the Bible says in verse #8 that he slaughters

the Philistines. But this is how the translator

say it in verse 8. He smote them hip and thigh with

a great slaughter. You've got to understand that

when the Bible says he smote them hip and thigh with a great

slaughter, that was an expression to let you.

And I understand that this was a cruel, unsparing slaughter, that

he. Began to pour out on the

Philistines, in other words. Samson showed the Philistines no

mercy because of what they had done to his wife and

father-in-law. And this act of violence worries

the tribe of Judah so greatly that they in response seeing

3000 men to arrest one man. Samson.

You've got to understand that Judah done so because at this

time they were under the oppression or the control of the

Philistines. And it's amazing to know that

they would rather please their oppressors than support their

delivery. But the Bible says when Samson

allows his arrest to take place, the Philistines once again begin

to berate him. And this is where we pick up in

verse #14 because it says while the Philistines are shouting

against him, that the Spirit of the Lord came mightily on

Samson, and the cords that were upon his arms became his flags,

and the bands fell off of his hands.

Ladies and gentlemen, I want you to understand that Samson once

again himself in a fight with the Philistines.

Remember, he's already fought them once before because in

verse #8 he smote them hip and thigh with the Great Slaughter.

But now, just a short time later, just a little while

removed from that first battle, he finds himself in a second

battle with the same enemy. And it's in the midst of this

great conflict. It's in the midst of this second

battle. But the Bible says that Samson

finds a jawbone and put forth his hand and took it.

And with that jawbone he slays 1000 men.

Because Samson said with the jawbone of an ass heaps upon

heaps, with a jawbone have our slain 1000 men.

And while we read stories like this, and it's powerful, it's

something that you and I can celebrate.

Can I inform you that when Samson killed those thousand

men, it was more than just a random occurrence?

But it was the song of Moses being fulfilled, because back in

Deuteronomy 32, the Spirit of the Lord moved on.

Moses and Moses begin to sing. How shall 1 Chase 1002 put

10,000 to flight? Except their rock had sold them,

and the Lord had shut them up. For their rock is not like our

rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.

Joshua comes on the scene and reiterates the same thing when

he said one man of you will chase 1000 for the Lord your

God, He it is that fighteth for you.

You see, the only reason why one man could chase 1000, the only

reason why one man, Samson could kill them and stack them heaps

upon heaps is because of their rock.

Is not like our rock. Can I tell you that Samson was

outnumbered 1000 to 1? The odds were not in his favor.

But aren't you glad to know that if God be for us?

Who then, can be against us? Can I tell somebody on a Monday

night, you may feel like Samson, you may feel like you're the

only one fighting, you may feel like you're in the battle all by

yourself. But can I remind you as long as.

God is with you. As long as God is in the battle

with you, everything's going to be all right, because God has

always equal the majority. The Bible says, and it came to

pass when he had made an end of speaking, that he castaway the

jawbone out of his hand and called that place Raymouth Lehi.

Now in verse 14, it's only Lehi, but now in verse 17, it's

Raymoth Lehi because in the Hebrew tongue, Raymoth Lehi

literally means the height or heel of the jawbone.

Because just like in American history and even in biblical

history, a battle would be fought on a heel and then it

would be named after the heel it was fought on.

And so it is in Judges 15, because before the battle, it's

only, but after the battle, it's Ray Martha Lehigh.

Because the very place of this battle unfolded and said this

place is now Ray Martha Lehigh. It may just be Lehigh to

everybody else, but the Samson, it means a whole lot more.

It's Ray Martha Lehigh. You see when you look at that,

because to Samson it means a whole lot more because when

Samson stood on that heel, he understood this is a heel I

fought on. This is a heel that God gave me

victory on. And while it may be

insignificant to everybody else, it has a lot of significance to

Samson. And can I tell you that I'm

looking at people in this room who, like Samson, have signature

victories in your past? I'm talking about those moments

that you remember that God made a way and God open in the door.

You see, this is a victory we always remember when we talk

about Samson. And I'm preaching to people in

this room. You too.

Have Ray monthly how moments in your yesterday.

I'm talking about moments when the odds were not in your favor.

I'm talking about days when the situation looked bleak and

people didn't expect you to make it and you yourself wondered,

how am I going to get through this?

And how am I going to get over this?

But you're in the House of God tonight.

And when you look back over here yesterday and you realize where

you could be and see where you are, there's just some

victories. Oh, I wonder if I've got some

Samson's in the house who can look back over here yesterday,

Who can look back over the years you've lived and realize if it

had not been for God, who was on my?

Side I wouldn't be here. We all have Ramoth Lehigh

victories, victories that just mean more than others.

Samson was and he is a legend of war.

In the Bible. You begin to talk about

warriors, his name's going to come up.

We talk about leaders, deliverers.

We think of Moses, conquerors. We think of Joshua, men after

God's own heart. We think of David.

But Samson is the mighty warrior of the Bible.

He is Resume is second to none. He kills a lion with his bare

hands going to Timnath. He slaughters 1000 men with the

jawbone that we read in our text.

He rips apart the city gates of the enemy and carries them away

on his shoulders. Even when he's chained up in the

Temple of Dagon, he pulls apart the pillars.

Killing more in the final moments of his life than he did

throughout the life that he lived.

This is how we think of Samson. We always focus on the strength

of Samson. We only talk about the victories

of Samson. The fact is, Samson was still

human. Samson, I know we think of him

as a superhero, but he was mortal.

He was flesh and blood, just like everybody else is in this

room. Hang on to me, because this is

where we. Are going to come into the

conversation you see everybody in this room can relate to

judges chapter 15 because just like Samson, we too are weary

and even though we've got victories throughout our past.

Even though we sit in this room victorious tonight because we're

human, we still get weary. We can be faithful and still get

weary. We can pray and still get.

Tired. We can fast every week and still

feel spiritually fatigued. We can praise and worship every

time we come in the House of God and still leave that worship

service exhausted. We.

Can come to church every time the doors are open we can be at

every prayer meeting, we can be at every church work day and

still leave this house feeling empty because at the end of the

day is. Great of a victories that we

have. We're still human.

See, Judges 15 is spiritually significant to everybody in this

room because just like Samson, we will go through battles and

we have, we will fight and we have.

We will fight and we will fight and we will.

Fight. And even though we win those

battles, even though we walk out of those battles victorious, we

find ourselves weary from the battles we just fought.

Samson won, I can't stress that point enough in fact, he didn't

just win once, he won twice in verse 8 he smote them hip and

thaw with a great slaughter 6 verses later, heaps upon heaps,

he stacks 1000 lifeless bodies up on that hill.

I cannot stress the point enough.

Samson won. He was victorious, but even

though he won, what good is it winning the battle if you're

only going to die from the. Battle you just fought, He

defeats 1000 men and he gives God thanks because he says

you've given this great deliverance into the hand of

your servant. But now I'm not going to die and

fall into the hands of the very enemy I just defeated.

You talk about a paradox because in the same praise service God,

you've given me victory, but I still wonder if I'm going to

live to see another day because of the toll this battle took on

me. See, I don't know how long that

battle lasted. We can read it in just a few

moments. But think about it.

How long does it take one man to kill 1000?

I promise you this, the thousand men, those thousand Philistines

that fought him on that hill were not just 1000 random

soldiers the Philistine found at their disposal.

In fact, I've read in some commentaries that they believe

that those thousand men that were sent were the 1000 greatest

warriors they had at their disposal.

The fact is, they were men of war themselves.

They. Knew how to fight, they knew how

to kill, they knew how to take a life just like Samson did.

How long does it take to take? How long does it take one man to

kill? 1000 I begin to do a math some

time ago and if Samson killed one man every minute it still

would have lasted over 16 1/2 hours.

However long it lasted, it was a long, hard, vicious drone out

battle. Because Brother McGee, I can

read from the text and deduce that this battle done something

to Samson. No other battle ever done to him

before. He's the mighty warrior, he's

the Conqueror, he's the man that defeats all the enemies.

But this battle took. Something out of him, this

battle done something to him that no other battle done to him

before. And how many times can we relate

to that very thing? We go through battles, we go

through trials, we face giants, we fought the enemy, but there's

just some battles. And there's just some enemies

that takes a piece of us that no other battle or enemy took from

us before. However long that battle lasted,

boy, I feel my Holy Ghost in the house.

However long the battle lasted, it drained Samson.

It took a toll on him. But verse 18 gives us the

snapshot of the condition he's in when it says and he was sore.

A thirst, that phrase sore, a thirst lets us understand that

it's the time of the wheat harvest and he had fought so

diligently and he had fought so ferociously that he finds

himself at the point of exhaustion, maybe even being

dehydrated, knocking on death's door. 1 commentary says and

Ladies and gentlemen, I was reading this story a few weeks

back and in that moment I. Realized that when we're talking

about Samson or any other person in the Bible.

We only love to talk about the battle, and we only love to talk

about the victory. Oh, we love verses like

Deuteronomy 20 when it says the Lord is going to go with us to

fight for us and give us victory over our enemies.

We love what Romans chapter 8 teaches when the question is

Romans 8 · chapter mention

asked, who shall separate us from the love of Christ?

Will it be tribulation or distress?

Persecution or famine? Nakedness, Periler sword, It is

written for thy name's sake. We are killed all.

The day long we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter, nay,

and all of these things we are more than conquerors through him

that loved us. We love what Paul told the

Ephesian church when he said, finally, my brethren, be strong

in the Lord and in the power of his might.

We love what Paul told the Corinthians when he said, thanks

be unto God who gives us the victory.

Thanks be unto God, who always causes us to triumph.

We love to preach about the battle because we know he's in

the battle with us and we love to preach about the victory

because he's going to give us the victory.

He's always going to cause us to triumph.

We are a victorious people. Because we are serving a God

who's always going to cause us to triumph.

But it was then when I realized we never preach about what

happens after the battles been fought and the victory's been

won. See, we often times just stop at

the victory, just get through this, just hang on till it

passes. But we never take the time to

look at the fallout of the battles we fought, even though

we're victorious. Just because you win the war

doesn't mean you come out of that war unscathed.

Jesus is the perfect example of this.

He won the battle at Calvary. When he said it is finished, he

was really saying it's accomplished.

Everything that I started out to do ever since the fall in the

garden until now, it has been accomplished.

In fact, Paul said he spoiled principalities.

He stripped hell of all of his power and authority.

In fact, Paul would go on to. Say that if the Princess of this

world knew what they were doing, they would have never crucified

the Lord of Glory. Because when he said it is

finished, he stripped hell in the devil himself of all of his

power because he won the battle at the cross.

But even though he won, goes to the wall and John and he looks

at Thomas and he says, put forth your hands in my hand, Put forth

your hand in my side. Feel me and see that it's me,

Thomas. I won.

I'm victorious because I'm still here, but the wounds tell a

story that I've been through some things and I'm preaching to

people on a Monday night who's been through things.

I'm preaching to people that if we can see through the eyes of

the Spirit, you've got wounds from yesterday.

You're limping spiritually because of battles you fought,

and thank God you're here just by being here is a testimony

that God's been faithful. Just because you're here is a

testimony that God brought you through.

And thank God for the victory. Thank God for every battle He

brings us out of. Thank God for every valley He

walks with us through. But we never talk about how we

feel after the battle's been fought and the victory's been

won. We never talk about how weary we

are. We never talk about how

spiritually fatigued we are. Anybody know what I'm talking

about? Everybody in this room can

testify that I've been through battles and I've been through

fights, but we never look at how weary we are.

But Samson's at that very place. He's victorious, but he's still

at death's door. You've given me this great

victory, but now I'm not going to die at the hands of the very

enemy you gave me victory over. But can I tell you that it was

in that moment when something supernatural begin to occur in

the text? Because in the midst of Samsons

weariness, exhaustion, and maybe even fall into the ground,

Samson does well only he knows to do Bishop.

He begins to call out to the same God that just gave him

victory, and the Bible says God hears and clave a hollow place

that was in the jaw, and water began to come out.

And when Samson drunk, his spirit came again and revived,

wherefore he called the name thereof Ian Hakor, which is in

Lehigh until this. Day.

And this is where my title is going to come from this evening,

because in Hakora, the place where Samson called out, in

Hakora, the place where the water begin to flow and Samson

begin to drink, it literally means a fountain or springs of

the collar. You see in Samson's weariness,

in Samson's weakness, in Samson's fatigue, he called out

to the same God who just gave him victory, and the same God

that gave him victory was the same.

God that again to send the water.

Can I tell you that I'm reminded of what the psalmist said when

he said he will call upon me and I will answer.

I've come to tell people in this room, don't just be satisfied

with the victory, but there's water that God wants to send to

every weary soul after the battles been fought.

The Bible says a hollow place, God clave it that was in the

jaw. And I don't know about you, but

I've heard it preached all my life that God put water in the

jawbone he fought with. But I begin to look at that some

time ago and I begin to think about that if a jawbone could

hold water, it can't hold very much.

But we understand that jawbones are hollow.

It can't hold anything. And so I begin to look at it and

what I found was this God didn't put water in the jawbone.

Samson fought with but you've got to remember he's fighting on

jawbone heel and there was an actual spring Bishop that flowed

from that heel. It was a spring that had been

dormant for a long time because that word hollow place or the

phrase hollow place that the Bible says God dug a hollow

place that was in the jaw. It literally means that God dug

out a mortar or a basin of water.

God begin to unhollow and clave out a whale that was in that

heel because on the heel, the very place that God Dave Sampson

the victory was the very place where the water begin to flow.

And I've come to preach the people in this room and tell

you. That if you're Vic.

But weary, if you're victorious but you're still tired, the

Bible's got the answer. Because if you can call out to

the same God that's brought you to where you are, he's not just

going to give you victory. But there is a well of

refreshing that he's about to activate in this house.

Because I've come to preach about a God who sends springs to

those that call out. I'm glad that God didn't feel

the jaw bone Samson fault with because you can drink that in a

few moments and you'll be thirsty again.

But I'm glad that God said I'm not going to feel the jaw bone.

But I've got a whale for you, Samson, because here's the thing

about a whale. You can drink from it today, and

if you get weary next week, you can come back to it.

And if you get weary next month, you can come back to it.

I've come to preach about a whale in this room that you can

draw from. Didn't John tell us in

Revelation that the Spirit and Bride say calm and let him that

hear us say calm and let him that is a first say calm.

And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

I've come to preach about a gift that's in this room.

It's the gift of the water. It's the gift of God's presence.

And if you're in this room and you're weary, there is a well

that you can draw from, and it's still in Hakor till this very

day. Because God was establishing the

fact that I'll always have a will for those that are weary.

And even on a Monday night when some of you may have had to make

yourself come to church, you had to make yourself worship.

You're having to make yourself get involved, not because you're

backslidden. But you're just tired.

You're weary. I've come with good news to tell

you the well is still available because it's here for the weary.

It's here for the weak. It's here for the tired.

Water in the Bible represents the Spirit of God.

And I've come to tell somebody in this room that the same God

that gave you victory is the same God that wants to send his

presence in this room. And so if you've just come out

of a battle, why don't you call for the springs?

If you've just come out of a difficult season, why don't you

call for the springs? Because God doesn't just want

you to be victorious, He wants to renew your strength.

He doesn't just want you to come out of the battle, He wants to

revive you. Because Judges is a double

miracle. Victory, but also renewing.

I don't just want to be victorious, I want God to revive

me. I want God to renew and refresh.

Me, I think that's why the Bible says He giveth power to the

faint, and to them that have no mind He increases strength.

Even the youth are going to faint and be weary.

The young men are going to utterly fail, but they that wait

upon the Lord shall renew their strength.

They shall mount it with eagles. They will run and not be weary.

They will walk and not faint. I think that's why he went on to

say, When the poor needy seek water, and there is none, and

their tongue failure for thirst, I the Lord will hear them.

I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them, but I will open up

rivers and high places, and fountains in the midst of the

valleys. I will make the wilderness a

pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.

I've got good news to tell you. If you're in this room and

you're weary, there's a well that you can draw from.

Even Jesus got weary. I don't know about you, but I'm

glad that John included that in his gospel because John chapter

John 4 · chapter mention

4 verse #6 says these words. Jesus being weary with his.

Journey indicating, implying that he's going in the right

direction, doing the right thing and he still got weary.

Do you know you can be on the right Rd. going in the right

direction, doing the right thing and still get tired?

Church people get weary. I got the honest people in the

house. I'm in church every Sunday, I'm

in church every Sunday night, Wednesday night prayer meeting,

and the list goes on. But you're still going to get

tired and you're still going to get weary because life has a way

of just causing all of us to be weary.

Life has a way of just taking the wind out of all of our

sails. So what do you do, Bishop, when

you get weary? Jesus gives us the blueprint.

Jesus, being weary with his journey, sat down at Jacob's

well, and I tell you, the best place you can find yourself when

you get weary is in the presence of God.

You want to talk about a powerful word picture.

There is a well sitting on the well.

You'll know why John 4 is so powerful.

I don't have time to get into all of it, but Isaiah 12

prophecies this very thing. Because the prophet said, And in

that day shall ye draw water? Shall you with joy draw waters

out of the wells of salvation? That word salvation translates

to the name Jesus. So Isaiah saying there's a day

coming that with joy you're going to draw from the wells of

Jesus. He's.

Talking about John 4, why do you think when no Jew wanted to go

through Samaria that Jesus said I must needs go through Samaria

because I've got to fulfill Isaiah 12.

I've got to go to Samaria because there's a woman that's

thirsty, there's a woman that needs the water that I have.

And the Bible said, here comes this woman, she's had five

husbands living with the 6th, and they begin to talk about

water. And she says, how is it that I

can drink water and never thirst again?

But the problem is she thinks he's talking about water from

Jacob's well. But Jesus said, if you knew of

the water that I speak of, you would never thirst again.

This is why 3 chapters later the Bible says in the last day that

the great day of the feast, Jesus stood up and cried with a

loud voice, If any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink,

because he that believeth on me as the scripture have said.

Out of his belly will flow rivers of living water.

But thus he spake of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him

should receive. For the Holy Ghost was not yet

given, and Jesus was not yet glorified.

But I've got good news to tell Mount Carmel.

He's been glorified and the Holy Ghost has been given.

And if you're in this house and you're weary with joy, you can.

Draw from the. Well, why do you think Jesus

said, come unto me? All you that labor, it's another

word for weary. But come unto me, all you that

are weary, or laboring, or heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Why do you think Galatians admonishes us to not be weary

and well doing for in. Due season we will reap if we

faint not. I'm looking forward to that day

when well doing turns into well done.

I said I'm looking forward to that day when well doing turns

into well done. But can I tell you between the

well doing and the well done, you're going to have to live

life and you're going to get weary and you're going to get

tired and you're going to have to make yourself come to church

and you're going to have to make yourself come to prayer meeting.

Because between the weary and the well done and the the well

doing and the well done, you're going to get weary.

But I'm glad to know there's a well I can go to.

I'm glad to know on a Monday night that there is a well I can

draw from. The same God that gave all of us

victories in our past is the same God it says, don't stop it

just being victorious. You got to get back to the well.

Whom shall he teach knowledge, and whom shall he make to

understand doctrine? Them that are weaned from the

milk and drawn from the breast, the Prophet says.

Precept must be upon precept, line upon line, here a little,

there a little. For with stammering lips and

another tongue will He speak to his people to whom he said, this

is the rest. He's pointing at something,

because He said, this is the rest wherewith you may cause the

weary to find. And this he's pointing at

something. This is the refreshing.

You know what? This is the Holy Ghost.

The prophet looks hundreds of years in the future, and he said

the Holy Ghost is going to come because with stammering lips and

another tongue, he's going to speak to his people.

And yes, you will speak in tongues when you get the Holy

Ghost. How do you know that they got

the Holy Ghost? The question was asked because I

heard them speak with other tongues.

The wind bloweth where it listeth, and now here's the

sound thereof. Jesus is telling Nicodemus, You

don't know where the wind's going, you don't know where the

wind's coming from, but you will hear a sound when the wind shows

up. So is everyone born of the

Spirit? Just like there is a sound when

the wind blows, there will be a sound when the Holy Ghost shows

up. You will talk in tongues.

But Brother McGee, I'm thankful to know that when I get the Holy

Ghost, it does more than just make me bilingual.

And if you're smart, it makes you more than trilingual.

I do good to speak English, but the Holy Ghost is a whole lot

more than just talking a language you don't know.

The prophet said there is going to be a rest that comes with it.

Anybody know what it's like when you had to drag yourself into a

church service, but something happened through that worship

service? Or when the preaching was going

on? Or the altar call.

Just by being in the presence of God, there was a divine rest

that begin to sit on you. And you may not have even ran

the aisles, you may not have been exuberant in your

demonstration of worship, but you walked out of this house

with a strength that you didn't have when you walked in.

It's because the Holy Ghost is more than just talking in

tongues. There is a divine rest that

comes. Listen, I'm glad that the wind

blew the first time, and I'm glad the fire fell the first

time. Ladies, I can take you to the

place where I was in October 1998 when a 10 year old boy got

the Holy Ghost. And I'm glad it came the first

time. But I'm just as glad that it's

came a whole lot more than just once ever since I first got it.

I cannot tell everybody in this room.

I'm glad God gave us the Holy Ghost to be more than just a one

time experience. But when you're weary and when

you're tired, I can get back in an altar.

I can get back in a prayer room and the wind will blow and the

fire will fall. And I may be weary when I walk

in, but there's a strength when I walk out because it's rest for

the weary. And I've come to tell you there

is a divine rest that God wants to sit in this room, because

life has a way of taking your breath away.

But Peter and John said in Acts 3, Repent you therefore, and be

converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times more

than once, plural times of refreshing will come from the

presence of the Lord. That word refreshing when it

says times of refreshing. Literally means a recovery of

your breath when life is taking your breath away.

The best thing you can do, the best thing I can do is get back

in the presence of God because there will be a reviving.

Why do you think the Holy Ghost is called a quickening spirit?

It means to make alive. And when I get weary and I feel

like I'm half dead spiritually, all I got to do is get back in

church on a Monday night and get in the presence of God like they

were singing about, and it begins to rekindle.

There is a reviving, there is a quickening spirit that begins to

happen. It's exactly what's happening in

our text. I believe you want to call it a

top and shadow. I believe it was a top and

shadow of the Holy Ghost because the Bible says the water began

to flow and Samson drank and his spirit came again and he

revived. The Bible says he drank and he

revived. It literally means he got his

second wind. Oh, Samson, you can't fight.

You don't get your second wind. So here's the thing about the

enemy and we'll wrap this up. He had fought them in verse 8,

smote them hip and thaw with a great slaughter. 6 verses later,

here they come again, and now it's 1000.

I don't know how many he killed in verse 8, it doesn't tell us,

but in verse 14, here comes 1000 more.

I just believe that those thousand Philistines, when they

were walking to that heel to fight Samson, I just think in

the back of their mind they didn't like their chances very

well. Because remember in verse 8 when

he smote them hip and thigh, Judah sends 3000 men to get

permission to arrest him. 3000 guys walk up to 1.

And say, can we please take you into custody now?

There's only 1000 going to fighting.

They probably didn't like their chances.

But here's the thing about the Philistines and here's the thing

about our enemy. We better understand He knows he

can't defeat us. And so if he can't defeat us,

he's going to do the next thing. He's going to keep constantly

fighting you to try to wear you down and get us so weary that we

ourselves quit. See, the enemy can't defeat you,

so he's going to try to wear you out.

Had a pastor tell me a couple years ago about a season in his

church that his church went through Revival Church.

You would know him if I mentioned the name Revival

Church, multiple outreach departments re recovery, you

name it, they're doing it. People getting the Holy Ghost,

people getting baptized. Church went through a season

where I think around 100 people walked out and left or went to a

different church. And I'm sitting in this pastor's

office and he's telling me that during that season, he began to

pray and ask God over and over, is it always going to be like

this? Is it always going to be a

fight? Is it always going to be a

struggle? And Brother McGee, he said the

days and weeks and months passed and God would never answer his.

He'd walk to the pulpit and preach and give everybody else

an answer. God would never answer his.

He said one night he was driving to a conference or a service.

He was preaching on a Friday night.

And he said on the way to that service, he was praying that

prayer again. But always going to be like

this, always going to be a fight day in and day out.

There was no answer, he said. I walked to that pulpit and

preached under one of the greatest anointings I've ever

felt. People got their answers, but I

walked away without mine, he said.

As I was walking to my truck, he said I felt a hand on my

shoulder and it spun me around. He said I looked into the eyes

of an elderly woman with tears rolling down her face.

She said brother and called his name, said God gave me a word to

give you. She said I don't understand it

because it's only one word. She said God told me to tell you

yes. And he said I got in my truck

and I realized, yes, it's always going to be a battle.

Yes, it's always going to be a fight.

And when he begin to share that with me, my mind went to the

story of David when it said and there was war all of their days.

Can I tell everybody in this room that we're going to fight

and we're going to go through battles and we're going to

wrestle with the adversary. But here's the thing, the enemy

knows he can't defeat us at one time and so he's going to attack

us on all fronts because nobody backslides over one night.

Nobody walks away because of 1 battle.

But it's the constant grind. It's the constant everyday

battle. It's not death by a cut.

It's death by 1000 cuts because it's the daily crime that wears

on all of us. But I've come to tell somebody

in this room, Samson, when God. Gives you a.

Victory. Don't just be satisfied with the

victory. You got to get back to the water

because here's the thing you better realize about your enemy.

He may not come back tomorrow, he may not come back next week,

he may not come back next month, but there's a day coming when he

will come back. And if you're weary, you're not

going to have the strength to fight him off of Vienna.

And that's why you got to get back to the well.

That's why we've got to get back in the presence of God, because

I may celebrate the victory today.

But if I don't get back and find rest for the weariness, I won't

have the strength to fight him when he does come back.

I've come to tell somebody in this room, just like Samson, I

believe the wind's about to blow in this house.

And just like Samson got his second wind, there's going to be

some people that walk out of this room strengthened.

And encouraged not because of a preacher, but because God sent a

preacher to tell you he's got more than just victory with your

name on it. He wants to do more than just

bring you out of battles. There needs to be a reviving.

There needs to be refreshing. They make their way to the

keyboard if they would like. The Bible says when Samson drink

of that water, his spirit revived.

God looked at him and said, Samson, you need to drink

because I still got to work for you to do.

I need you to be a judge in Israel.

But he didn't just judge anywhere.

The Bible says he judged Israel in the days of the Philistines.

That's just like God, Brother McGee, to say the same enemy

that's been fighting you, the same enemy that's giving you no

relief, the same enemy that's been attacking.

You on all. Fronts, I'm going to let you

judge and rule in the days of that very enemy.

And I tell this congregation, you're not just going to merely

exist. You're not just going to be a

church on the block. You're going to rule and reign

in the very presence of the adversary that's been coming

against you because only God can do something like that.

Why don't you lift your hands right now where you're sitting?

I feel a wind of the Holy Ghost in this house right now.

Before we transition, why don't we just let the Holy Ghost sit

on all of us in this room? Just like on the day of

Pentecost, there's rest for the weary in this room.

Well, I'm preaching to people right now.

It's been a while since the Holy Ghost has really touched you.

Been a while since you've really left the service with strength.

I've come to tell you there's a well in this house.

Come on, why don't you let the Holy Ghost flow through you

right now? I'm done preaching, but right

here where we're sitting, we may not even get the transition.

I'm telling you, the Holy Ghost wants to sit in this room right

now and strengthen every individual from the front to the

back because there's still work to do.

We ought to turn this room into a prayer room.

Right now I'm. Gonna let the Holy Ghost flow

through you right now. Come on, those rest in the house

when? I'm not saying you've got to be

demonstrative. Just let the Holy Ghost sit on

you right now. The Spirit of God.

Let that ministering presence that we feel in this room begin

to strengthen.
