  1. Can someone say holy? But the revelation says they'll

  2. stand around the throne crying, holy, holy, holy, Amen.

  3. And there's nothing wrong with us doing that now on this side

  4. of heaven. Amen.

  5. You can stand with me here tonight.

  6. For the past several services we have had evangelist Adrian

  7. Sanford with us, a man. He's a full time evangelist and

  8. crisscrosser the United States holding meetings such as this

  9. and we're glad to have him tonight.

  10. He's from Walnut, Ms. And so with that, he understands that

  11. sidewalks roll up around some cities like at 9 O clock like

  12. they do in Mount Carmel. You know how hard it's to find

  13. somewhere to eat after church is over in Mount Carmel?

  14. Difficult. You've almost expired your

  15. options then, even when you go to Princeton.

  16. And so we brought a basket and we're going to do a picnic

  17. tonight out on the lawn after. I'm joking.

  18. But nonetheless, Amen, It's good.

  19. It's good to have somebody that understands Amen that.

  20. But we're glad to have him tonight.

  21. He's going to come and minister the word of the Lord.

  22. And if you've not been here any of these nights, we want the

  23. Lord to minister to you through his word, Amen.

  24. He's capable of doing so in Scripture.

  25. If He sent His Word and He healed them, then His Word can

  26. be sent in any aspect here tonight and do what it needs to

  27. do in your life tonight. Can we honor the Lord one more

  28. time as Evangelist Adrian Sanford?

  29. Amen. Comes here.

  30. This evening. Hallelujah, brother.

  31. Hey man, let's continue to magnify the Lord in this house,

  32. all with your hands and with your voice.

  33. Why don't you give Him praise that He's worthy of?

  34. Oh, that men would praise the Lord.

  35. Amen. I think that's why the Bible

  36. tells us to praise Him according to His excellent greatness.

  37. That means my praise ought to match how great God's been to

  38. me. Because I praise Him according

  39. to His excellent greatness. I know that our praise will

  40. never match the greatness that we've experienced, but I believe

  41. it is an admonishment that every time we get an opportunity, we

  42. are to come in the House of the Lord and do our very best to

  43. give Him praise. Amen.

  44. Why don't we do that one more time?

  45. Why don't we in your own way, if you want to lift your hands, if

  46. you want to lift your voice, if you want to clap your hands, the

  47. Bible says that praise is comely.

  48. It's just the right thing to do. You don't know what else to do.

  49. It's always in order to give God praise.

  50. Amen. In fact, David said in one

  51. place, My praise waiteth for thee.

  52. I think Dave was saying, man, there's been an expectation and

  53. an anticipation to get in the House of the Lord and just give

  54. him praise. And what would happen if we had

  55. that kind of attitude? And I'm waiting to get in the

  56. House of the Lord because my praise is waiting to get in the

  57. House of the Lord. Hey, man, I know what would

  58. happen. We'd get God's attention because

  59. he still inhabits the praises of Israel and what great singing

  60. and music and worship we've heard in this house.

  61. And thank you again to the praise team and the musicians

  62. for leading us into worship and creating an atmosphere for the

  63. Lord to move in. Because we want the Lord to

  64. move. That's why we're here.

  65. Anybody want the Lord to move in your life this evening?

  66. Amen. And I believe the Lord is in

  67. this room to meet specific needs tonight, Amen.

  68. I just want the Lord to be Himself.

  69. God, just be yourself, whatever you want to do, that's what we

  70. want you to do. If you want to heal, we want you

  71. to heal. If you want to deliver, we want

  72. you to deliver them. If you want to give answers and

  73. give direction, we want whatever you want to do in this house,

  74. Amen. If you have your Bibles, I will

  75. go to Mark Chapter 7, begin at verse #24 and as you're finding

    Mark 7 chapter mention

  76. Mark 7, verse 24, give honor again, brother and sister McGee

    Mark 7:24

  77. and their family, and thank them for allowing me to come and for

  78. giving me the invitation to come and for all of their kindness

  79. and hospitality. I give also honor to your Bishop

  80. and his wife. And that's all.

  81. I've never pastor, but I'm around some.

  82. Every now and again people show up and it's if nobody was going

  83. to show up, we wouldn't do this. But we're, we're glad that

  84. people show up because it's an opportunity for God to do

  85. something in their life. And I want to give God an

  86. opportunity tonight. Amen.

  87. So Mark Chapter 7 and verse #24 the Bible says, and from thence

    Mark 7 chapter mention

  88. he's Speaking of, Jesus arose and went into the borders of

  89. Tyree and Saddam, and entered into a house, and would have no

  90. man know it. But he could not be hid.

  91. For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit,

  92. heard of him, and came and fell at his feet.

  93. The woman was a Greek, a sorrow Phoenician by nation, and she

  94. besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her

  95. daughter. But Jesus said unto her, Let the

  96. children first be filled, for it is not meat, or it's not time to

  97. take the children's bread and cash it into the dogs.

  98. And she answered and said, Yes, Lord, yet the dogs under the

  99. table eat of the children's crumbs.

  100. And he said unto her, For this saying, Go thy way, the devil

  101. has gone out of thy daughter. And when she was come to her

  102. house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid up on

  103. the bed. Anybody know what it's like to

  104. leave problems at the house, issues at the house, things

  105. you're worried about? Wouldn't it be good that by the

  106. time we get back home tonight, all those issues will be

  107. resolved, All those needs could be met?

  108. I believe that's what the Lord wants to do in this house

  109. tonight. My text is going to come from

  110. verse #24 when the Bible says he goes into the borders of Tyree

  111. and Saddam enters into a house would have no man know it, but

  112. he could not be hid. My title tonight is those last

  113. five words of verse 24. I'm preaching.

  114. He could not be hid. He could not be hid.

  115. If you want the Lord to manifest himself in this room, I wonder

  116. if you could one more time lift your hands all over this house.

  117. And if you've got a need right now, I want you to vocalize that

  118. need to the Lord. Come on, let's open our mouth

  119. right now and say, Lord, this is what I need tonight.

  120. This is what I'm believing that you're going to do in this room

  121. for the next few moments. Lord, we love you tonight in

  122. Jesus name. Lord, let our faith be released

  123. in this room to believe you for the impossible and for the

  124. miraculous to believe you for the supernatural to manifest in

  125. this house in Jesus name. And why don't you give the Lord

  126. a great hand clap of praise one more time.

  127. Come on a hand clap and expectancy.

  128. The gods about to do something in this room in Jesus name and

  129. you may be seated tonight. Thank you for standing.

  130. Due to having to lay some groundwork.

  131. I will quickly go to the arena of our text because it is in the

  132. Gospel of Mark where you find where you and I find Mark making

  133. a very interesting statement concerning Jesus.

  134. He informs us that Jesus is going into the borders of Tyree

  135. and Sadan. He's entered into a house and

  136. would have no man know it, but he could not be hid.

  137. First of all, as we begin, we must focus our attention on the

  138. region Jesus is entered into. March 7 Because it is of

  139. significance to note that the Bible tells us exactly where

  140. Jesus had travelled to. Mark informs us that he had gone

  141. into the borders of Tyree and Saddam.

  142. The commentators have come to suggest that this particular

  143. instance is one of the very few times, as far as the biblical

  144. record goes, that Jesus goes out of Palestine and into strictly

  145. Gentile territory. But the location of Jesus is not

  146. the only important thing to know in the text, because secondly,

  147. it's also of the utmost importance to know that the

  148. purpose of Jesus going into this region, the reason why Jesus

  149. went to Tyree and Saddam, was not to minister to the

  150. multitudes. Now I understand that that

  151. almost seems like a ludicrous and even blasphemous statement

  152. to make about Jesus because it is something we continually see

  153. him doing all throughout the Gospels.

  154. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Those four men record for us

  155. those miraculous moments when Jesus would travel to certain

  156. cities for the purpose of ministering to those who were

  157. present with needs. We see in one place that he goes

  158. to Bethany and there he raises Lazarus from the dead.

  159. He goes to Cana and turns water into wine.

  160. He goes to a city called Capernaum and heals.

  161. A paralytic man heals heals 2 unnamed blind men, heals the

  162. dumb demoniac, and also heals a man with a withered hand.

  163. He goes into the region of Gadera and it's there where he

  164. delivers a man possessed with a legion of devils.

  165. It's in the city of Jericho where he opens the eyes of a

  166. blonde Bartimaeus. It is at the pool of Bethesda

  167. where he tells that lame man to take up his bed and walk.

  168. There's even verses in the Gospels that tells us how Jesus

  169. would enter into villages, cities and countries just to

  170. meet the needs of everybody who was present.

  171. You see, this is something we continually see Jesus doing

  172. throughout his ministry, but we must understand that this was

  173. not the case when he travelled into the borders of Tyree and

  174. Sardan. Something was different about

  175. Mark Chapter 7. And so you may be wondering how

    Mark 7 chapter mention

  176. I came to the conclusion that he did not go to that region to

  177. perform the miraculous or the supernatural.

  178. I mean, all it tells us is Jesus arose, went into the borders of

  179. Tyree and Sodon and enters into a house.

  180. We understand that it's not for him that Jesus goes in the

  181. cities and performs the miraculous, but it's also not

  182. for him that Jesus would go in the homes and perform the

  183. miraculous because we understand that he goes into the House of

  184. Peter and heals his mother-in-law.

  185. He goes into the House of Jarius and raises is his daughter from

  186. the dead. There's even one place that the

  187. Bible says it was noised that Jesus was in one particular

  188. house, that the people packed themselves in the room so

  189. tightly just so their needs could be met.

  190. So knowing all of this, knowing that Jesus has brought his

  191. ministry in the cities and territories and homes time after

  192. time, you're probably wondering how I came to the conclusion

  193. that this time it was different. This time he did not bring the

  194. miraculous to Tyree and Sadan. He did not even bring the

  195. supernatural into the house he was in.

  196. So what was so different about March 7?

  197. The answer is given in the same verse because Mark informs us

  198. that Jesus arose, went into the borders of Tyree and Saddam,

  199. entered into a house and would have no man know it.

  200. You've got to look closely at what Mark is telling us because

  201. he's travelled to Tyree and Saddam and he's entered into a

  202. home by himself. Now just 7 verses earlier in

  203. March, 7 and 17, we found that same Jesus and a home with his

  204. disciples. But now 7 verses later, he's

  205. walked away from that house, He's separated himself from his

  206. disciples and now he's left the territory of the Jews, walked

  207. into Gentile territory, goes into a house and doesn't tell

  208. anybody where he's going to understand.

  209. While the Bible makes that statement, he would have no man

  210. know it. You've got to understand that

  211. leading up to this moment, Jesus has spending had been spending

  212. much time of his time ministering throughout the

  213. provinces. And because his ministry was

  214. drawing crowds, he was drawing overwhelming crowds.

  215. He had become exhausted due to his ministry.

  216. And so when Mark says he would have no man know it, it is

  217. imperative to understand in the context of what I'm preaching,

  218. that Jesus pulls himself away from the ministry from that

  219. moment. It literally gives you an all

  220. the understanding that Jesus needed rest.

  221. And so he leaves the land of the Jews and goes into Gentile

  222. territory for the purpose of rest.

  223. This is why the Bible says he didn't tell anybody where he's

  224. going. I think it was his way of saying

  225. that right now I'm going to find rest.

  226. Right now I'm not here healing anybodies body.

  227. Right now I'm not answering anybodies prayers.

  228. Right now I'm not meeting anybodies needs.

  229. He goes into a house and told no man where he's going because his

  230. ministry is on pause. Are you with me this evening?

  231. And so knowing these important details, this is where the story

  232. really begins to get interesting.

  233. Because even though Jesus had not come for the multitudes, and

  234. even though Jesus had not come for the individuals at this

  235. particular time, you and I are quickly introduced to a certain

  236. woman. In fact, the Bible says this

  237. certain woman was a Greek, a sorrow, Phoenician by nation.

  238. In other words, she's a Gentile. That makes sense because he's

  239. now in Gentile territory. But understand this woman is in

  240. Gentile, meaning she is a stranger to the Commonwealth of

  241. Israel. She is an alien to the covenant

  242. of promise. She's not a Jew, meaning she's

  243. not from the lineage of Abraham. In other words, at this moment

  244. in human history, she has no access to God.

  245. She has no access to the miraculous.

  246. She has no access to the supernatural, but if that's not

  247. bad enough, not only is she living on the wrong side of

  248. Calvary, but her daughter is possessed with an unclean

  249. spirit. Her daughter is demon possessed.

  250. You got to understand that this was no small matter in biblical

  251. times because in order to understand the severity of her

  252. situation in New Testament times, demon possession was

  253. considered to be the most impossible malady to cure.

  254. You see, people including religious leaders were often

  255. powerless in the presence of devils that the people who were

  256. possessed were chained up and left in remote conditions.

  257. This is why the man named Legion is chained up in the tomb,

  258. because they have no answers. They have no cure.

  259. There is no remedy. And so the best thing we can do

  260. is put them out of town. This is the pitiful plight of

  261. this gentile lady's daughter. She's about to end up just like

  262. that man Legion. She's in the house right now.

  263. But when news gets out, they're going to see that we have no

  264. power over this and they're going to pull her out of the

  265. home and they're going to separate her from her mother.

  266. This woman is in a desperate need.

  267. And while Jesus is hiding, somehow this lady finds out that

  268. he's in Tyree and Sao Dawn. Somehow, Brother McGee, she

  269. finds out that he's in a house. And This is why Mark tells us

  270. that when she finds him, she besought the Lord that he would

  271. cast the devil out of her daughter.

  272. But we understand Jesus looks at her and says the children must

  273. first be filled because it's not me to give the children's bread

  274. and cast it to the dogs. And that woman doesn't argue.

  275. She doesn't dispute his words she said yes Lord true, but even

  276. the dogs deserve crumbs that fall from the masters table.

  277. And the Bible says, when Jesus hears this, he says, for thy

  278. saying, go thy way, the devil has gone out of your daughter.

  279. And by the time that Lady gets back to the house, the devil has

  280. gone out of her daughter and she's sitting up upon the bed in

  281. her right mind. It was in that moment her need

  282. had been met. But the most interesting part of

  283. the entire story, at least to me, is not when the Bible says

  284. he goes to Tyree and Saddam. It's not when the Bible says he

  285. enters into a house. It's not even when the Bible

  286. says he would have no man know it.

  287. But the phrase that caught my attention some time ago is when

  288. Mark says, but he could not be hid.

  289. He doesn't tell anybody where he's going.

  290. He goes into strictly Gentile territory.

  291. He's tucked away in a house. No man knows where he is, but he

  292. could not be hid. It's about to make sense because

  293. you've got to understand that Mark is letting us understand

  294. the context of which this is unfolding.

  295. He's left the Jewish community. He's departed from his

  296. disciples. He's in Gentile territory.

  297. He's in a house and nobody knows where he is.

  298. Understands Jesus. He's in a place of inactivity.

  299. He's in a place of rest. In this moment.

  300. He has no intention of performing a miracle.

  301. His agenda does not include operating him the supernatural.

  302. His hands are not healing. His words are not delivering.

  303. His Spirit is not moving. The miracle ministry of Jesus

  304. has been put on pause, but he doesn't stay in a place of rest

  305. for too long because Mark tells us, even though he separates

  306. himself from his miracle crusade and goes into a house and

  307. doesn't tell anybody where he's going, he lets us understand.

  308. He could not be hid in order to understand that statement.

  309. There's other times in the Gospels when Jesus would seek to

  310. be alone. He would pull himself away from

  311. ministry in order to find rest, but his rest was always

  312. interrupted by the zeal of his followers or the need of those

  313. who had heard of him. And so it is with this Gentile

  314. lady. You want to know why Mark tells

  315. us he could not be hid? He said he could not be hid for

  316. a certain woman. You know what Mark is telling

  317. us? Jesus could not stay hidden

  318. because there was a woman who needed him.

  319. Cannot tell this congregation. Her situation and her

  320. desperation poured him out of a place of hiding.

  321. It was the level of her need that caused him not to stay

  322. where he was. I don't know how she found out

  323. where he was. I don't know how she found out

  324. he's in Tyree and Saddam, I don't know how she found out

  325. what house he was in. The Bible gives us no

  326. information at all, but all it says is he could not be hid.

  327. And I think that's enough because Mark is trying to let us

  328. know that it's my need and it's your need that we'll always find

  329. him. I've come to tell you, when you

  330. can't find God, your need will always find Him.

  331. I've come to preach to somebody in this house who may have

  332. needs. I've got good news to tell you.

  333. You may feel like God is hidden. You may feel like God's not

  334. answering prayers. But if somebody can make their

  335. need known, he's not going to stay hidden for a certain woman.

  336. And I just feel like there's a certain man in this room.

  337. I just feel like there's a certain woman in this room.

  338. There may be a certain young person or a certain young adult

  339. who needs him. And while you may feel like

  340. God's not answering your prayers, and while you may feel

  341. like God's turned to death, here, I've got the solution.

  342. Your need is going to pull him out of hiding.

  343. Your need is going to get him involved.

  344. See, I don't know what your need is.

  345. Hers was a devil possessed daughter.

  346. We've all got different needs in this room, but the principal

  347. remains the same. If you've got a need only God

  348. can take care of. If you've got a need that goes

  349. beyond your ability, if you've got a need that's met your

  350. limitations, I've come to tell you that if you can become

  351. desperate, your desperation and your determination is going to

  352. pull him out of hiding. You see, I've come to preach

  353. about a God who cannot stay inactive when somebody needs

  354. him. I've come to preach about a God

  355. who cannot rest. When somebody needs a miracle,

  356. I've come to preach about a God who cannot remain Incognito when

  357. somebody's desperate. I remember sitting in a pastor's

  358. office in Louisiana and the knock comes on the door Bishop,

  359. and it's the drummer walking in the office.

  360. And that young man looks at the pastor and says, pastor, it's me

  361. again. Here's my needs.

  362. I need you to pray for it. He's begin to apologize to his

  363. pastor. I know I'm always in here.

  364. I know I've always got prayer requests.

  365. I know I've always got needs. And that pastor looked back at

  366. that young man who was his drummer and said, Son, never

  367. apologize for needing something from God.

  368. Can I tell somebody in this room, don't despise your need

  369. because it's your need that's going to pull him out of hiding.

  370. I don't know how she found him. I don't know how she found out

  371. he was in town, but there was a need that put her exactly where

  372. she needed to be. I've come to learn through God's

  373. Word and I've come to learn through experiences.

  374. When and I cannot find him, my need is always going to find

  375. him. She has an issue of blood.

  376. She's had it for 12 years, spent all that she had and grew worse

  377. and not better. One translation lets us know

  378. that she was as good as dead because she hasn't been at home

  379. because of that infirmity. She hasn't been able to see her

  380. family or kids, if she had any, for years.

  381. She's been isolated. She's alone.

  382. But the day comes when she hears that Jesus is walking downtown

  383. and she leaves that place of oscillation.

  384. She leaves that place of abandonment.

  385. The Bible lets us know that in Mark chapter 5, verse 24, that

    Mark 5:24

  386. Jesus went with him, Speaking of Jarius, and much people followed

  387. him, and many people thronged him.

  388. That word thronged means to compress.

  389. It was a multitude of people, crowds on every side.

  390. Jesus is hidden by the multitude.

  391. He's hidden by the crowd, but there's a lady with an issue of

  392. blood who needs him. I don't know if she could see

  393. him or not because the Bible says she touches the hem of his

  394. garment. Some people have come to suggest

  395. that she crawled her way through that crowd.

  396. I don't know. I don't know if she knew where

  397. he was at or not. I don't know if she could see

  398. him in her vision or not. But can I tell you that it was

  399. her need that put him right at his feet?

  400. It was her need that put him right where she needed to be.

  401. And she pushes her way through the crowd, touches the hem of

  402. his garment, and straightway the fountain of her blood was dried

  403. up because the crowd could not hide him from a woman who needed

  404. him. Don't you let a crowd full of

  405. people that don't need him keep you from getting to him.

  406. Boy, I feel a little something right here.

  407. Can I tell you that there were, there may have been a crowd of

  408. people on every side, but bumping into Jesus is different

  409. from grabbing Jesus. I know a lot of people that

  410. wants to bump into him. I know a lot of people that

  411. wants to be in his presence, but don't let people that's just

  412. here keep you away from getting a hold of him.

  413. I've come to challenge somebody on a Tuesday night.

  414. Whatever your need is, you want to push past comfort.

  415. You want to push past those that don't need Him and make up your

  416. mind. Nothing is going to keep me from

  417. getting my need met because he cannot be hid from those.

  418. He cannot stay hidden when somebody needs him.

  419. My kids growing up, not so much anymore, but growing up, they

  420. love to play hide and seek. And because I was very

  421. competitive and I had a lot of years under my belt, I would

  422. always hide, let them come look for me because I was

  423. competitive. I'm not telling you where I am.

  424. You find me. That's the game.

  425. I hide and you seek. Good luck.

  426. And I would always notice what would start out as a game,

  427. laughing and giggling and kids laughing.

  428. And where are you, dad? Look under bed and he's not

  429. there, They'd laugh. Look in the closet, he's not

  430. there, they'd laugh. But I'd always notice after four

  431. or five minutes past Bishop and they hadn't found me, it wasn't

  432. games anymore. Because while it's a game, the

  433. dad, they're getting worried because they can't find me.

  434. Can I tell you? There's been times in my life

  435. when it felt like God was playing hide and seek with me.

  436. Anybody know what it's like? You go to prayer and you can't

  437. find him. You come to church and you feel

  438. like he's hiding himself. Anybody know what Job meant when

  439. he said, behold, I go forward but he's not there and I go

  440. backward, but I cannot perceive him on the left hand where he

  441. does work. I can't behold him.

  442. He hideth himself on the right hand that I cannot see him.

  443. What caused Jesus to come out of hiding for a Gentile lady?

  444. What caused him to leave a place of what caused him to go from

  445. inactive to active? I'll tell you what it was.

  446. It was somebody that got desperate to.

  447. It was somebody that was determined.

  448. It was somebody who faith, because nobody can lay faith at

  449. the feet of Jesus and watch him walk away without responding.

  450. Her need prompted him to come out of hiding.

  451. And I've come to tell somebody, you want to get that same

  452. desperation. You want to get the same

  453. attitude that says I'm not leaving this house until my

  454. needs are met. You want His glory to be

  455. revealed. He want His power to be

  456. experienced. He want His manifest presence to

  457. move in this house. Why don't you get desperate?

  458. Because He will supply all your need according to His riches and

  459. glory. Let me show you how God moves

  460. out of a place of rest when there's need.

  461. After six days of creating a wonderful world, after six days

  462. of light and darkness, land and sea, thousand things that fly

  463. and fish in the sea. After six days, Bible says on

  464. the 7th day he rested from all of his work.

  465. Now when the Bible says that the Lord rested, it doesn't give us

  466. the indication that he had to sit down and catch his breath

  467. because he was exhausted from creating this world.

  468. The Bible's not saying that he had to take a time out because

  469. God doesn't get tired. He that keeps Israel neither

  470. slumbers nor sleeps. The Hebrew word for rested there

  471. gives more ideas than just being physically tired.

  472. It's the word Shabbat and it means to cease or to stop.

  473. So the little understanding is on the 7th day God just stopped

  474. working. God says I'm done for right now.

  475. He ceased on the 7th day. But watch this Adam and Eve, the

  476. apex of his creation, disobeys sins and partakes of the fruit.

  477. And a God who was resting now, the Bible says, and they heard

  478. the voice of the Lord, the same God that was inactive, the same

  479. God that was resting and no longer working is now active

  480. walking in the garden because he understands I've got to leave my

  481. place of rest because my creation needs me.

  482. And from that moment all throughout his life when he

  483. walked the earth, we continually seeing him coming to those who

  484. needed him. You see, I'm preaching about a

  485. God this evening who cannot stay hidden because at his birth, God

  486. displays a star over Bethlehem the night he was born.

  487. And then there's a group of angels proclaiming to those

  488. shepherds on a hill, glory to God, him the highest on earth,

  489. peace, goodwill toward men. Because at his birth he couldn't

  490. be hid. You see, when he was dedicated,

  491. at his presentation, he couldn't be hid.

  492. Because it said when those days were fulfilled, Mary brought

  493. Jesus to the temple to present him to the Lord as the law

  494. commanded in the temple. There was a man named Simeon

  495. whom the Holy Ghost had revealed to him, You will not see death

  496. until you see the Lord's Christ. And when Simeon looks at Jesus,

  497. he takes him in his arms, bless his God, and says, Lord, now let

  498. your the servant depart in peace, because mine eyes have

  499. seen my salvation. And his baptism he couldn't stay

  500. hid because John the Baptist proclaimed there's one coming

  501. after me who's mightier than I I'll baptize you under

  502. repentance, but he's going to baptize you with Holy Ghost and

  503. fire. And when Jesus tops the hill, he

  504. says, behold the Lamb of God. And there's a voice from heaven

  505. that says, thou art my beloved Son, and whom I'm well pleased.

  506. In his earthly ministry, He can't be hid because in places

  507. such as our text needs, pull him out of hiding.

  508. When he's being crucified, he can't be hid, because the veil

  509. in the temple was rent from top to bottom, and the earth did

  510. clake, and the rocks were rent, and the graves were opened up,

  511. and the bodies of the Saints that slept rose.

  512. And after all this happened, the Bible tells us after his

  513. resurrection went into the holy city and appeared unto Menia.

  514. And even at his burial he couldn't be hid.

  515. They put his body in a borrowed tomb.

  516. They put a stone in front of the door.

  517. Roman soldiers are standing there to guard him because he

  518. did say in three days, so let's just stand here just in case.

  519. But even though they placed a Roman seal at the door, and even

  520. though there are Roman soldiers guarding the door, when it was

  521. time for scripture to be fulfilled, he came out because

  522. death, hell, nor the grave could hide him, because nothing can

  523. hide him. And I've come to tell somebody

  524. in this room, your troubles cannot hide him.

  525. Your needs cannot hide him. Whatever you're dealing with

  526. will not cause him to be hidden. I wish somebody would understand

  527. that God always comes out of hiding when I find myself in

  528. trouble. God always comes out of hiding

  529. when I need him and starts working again.

  530. I've come to preach the people this evening and feel like God

  531. has hidden himself from you. You feel like God has pulled

  532. back his power. You feel like God's removing the

  533. the supernatural. You feel like God's turned to

  534. death here to prayers and removed his hands off

  535. situations. It doesn't matter how much you

  536. pray you can't find him. But I've come to tell somebody.

  537. I've come to learn how to get God from me active to act of a

  538. just present my need. Just get desperate to just make

  539. up my mind that I'm not leaving this house until something

  540. changes. I wish I had a Zacchaist in this

  541. room who would get desperate to. He's small in stature and he

  542. can't find the Lord because of the press.

  543. But desperation will always cause you to act outside of your

  544. normal self. He's chief among publicans.

  545. He's rich. I don't think rich people was

  546. out climbing trees, but desperation will cause you to do

  547. things you've never done before. And the Bible says he climbed

  548. that tree and his need put him right in the pathway of Jesus

  549. and Jesus looked at him and said, today I'm going to your

  550. house today. Your needs going to be met.

  551. And I've come with a simple solution to preach to somebody

  552. and tell you your power, your problems cannot hide his power

  553. and your circumstances cannot hide the supernatural.

  554. I'm appreciate about a God who feels time, space, and eternity.

  555. There's nothing too big he'll hide under.

  556. There's nothing too big He'll hide behind.

  557. Your problems not greater. Your sin is not greater.

  558. Your sickness is not greater. Your trial is not greater.

  559. Your need is not greater. But it's those very things.

  560. Pause Him to step out of the shadows, tells God cannot sit

  561. still or remain neutral, and somebody needs him.

  562. I wish somebody would lift their hand right now and say, Lord, I

  563. need you right now. I don't know what your situation

  564. is, but God does and I've come to challenge somebody.

  565. Why don't you, right now, let your need push you into a place

  566. where His power is revealed? I don't believe I'm preaching to

  567. a congregation right now who's like Laodicea.

  568. You want to know the tragedy of Laodicea?

  569. Bible says they were increased with goods and had need of

  570. nothing. And I'll tell you that they had

  571. needs because we're all human. We all have needs.

  572. It's amazing that one translation says they had needs,

  573. but they had no need of God. Because I'm increased with goods

  574. and have need of nothing. These goods and these riches can

  575. take the place. And so if having no need of him

  576. puts him outside the house, what happens when we do need him?

  577. I'll tell you what happens. He comes in the house, see,

  578. somebody's getting it right now, Somebody's face connecting right

  579. now to the world. I've come to tell you he's not

  580. going to stay outside the house when there's people in the house

  581. that need him. He's not going to stay in the

  582. shadows or in the corner back there when he sees somebody

  583. needs him. It may just be 1 gentile lady.

  584. It may just be one individual that says I'm going to be like

  585. that Lady with an issue of blood and I don't care what everybody

  586. else does, but I'm about to push my way through every barrier.

  587. I'm about to push my way through every set back because I've got

  588. an understanding. It's my need that exposes his

  589. power. The prophet said his brightness

  590. was at the as the light. He has horns coming out of his

  591. hand, and there, there in his hand was the hiding of his

  592. power. I'm telling you, there's a hand

  593. in this house that's not short that it cannot save.

  594. There's an ear in this house that's not heavy that it cannot

  595. hear. I'm telling somebody when you

  596. begin to pursue God, there's a hand that's going to reach after

  597. you and it's going to be there, but there's an uncovering of His

  598. power. Why do you eat with publicans

  599. and sinners? Jesus says they that are whole

  600. need not a physician, they that are sick.

  601. I've not come to call the righteous, but sinners to

  602. repent. You know what Jesus is saying?

  603. I'll tell you why. I'm around people that have

  604. needs. I'm around them because they

  605. have needs. I'm going to tell you why God

  606. comes in our services the way He does.

  607. It's because we need Him. I don't know about you, but I

  608. feel like there's some people in this house that come to church.

  609. So I need him to move. I'm done preaching.

  610. I wonder if somebody would lift their hands right now and begin

  611. to pursue him. I'm done.

  612. The Holy Ghost wants this thing right now and I want to we all

  613. could stand right now and say, you know what, I need him to

  614. move right now. I need him to get active in this

  615. situation right now. I don't know what it is.

  616. It may be physical, spiritual, emotional, financial.

  617. The need doesn't matter. I'm just challenging somebody to

  618. make your need known to God right now.

  619. Come on. Is there a, is there a somebody

  620. like that Gentile lady that says, I'm about to find him in

  621. this house, I'm about to go exactly where he is and I'm not

  622. going to leave disappointed because God's going to respond

  623. to my need. Come on.

  624. If you've got a need, I want you to step out right now.

  625. I don't want you to hesitate. I don't want you to look around

  626. and say, who's going to step out?

  627. If you've got a need, I want you to step out right now.

  628. And we're going to come. We're going to lift our hands

  629. right now. And I believe there's a

  630. supernatural power that's about to step in this room.

  631. It's already here. Come on, I wouldn't wait till

  632. tomorrow night. I wouldn't wait till something.

  633. If you need something, it's time to get desperate right now.

  634. If you need something, it's time to make up your mind.

  635. And if I've got to act outside of my normal behavior, I'm going

  636. to do it because I need him. I need a miracle.

  637. I need this prayer answer. I need direction.

  638. I need clarity. We're, we're being too reserved

  639. right now. I'm not saying you got to act

  640. foolish, but somebody ought to get desperate in your pursuit

  641. right now. Somebody ought to lift your

  642. voice with desperation and be like those blind men.

  643. Thou son of David, have mercy on me.

  644. Come on. Don't worry about everybody

  645. else. Come on, blind Bartimaeus.

  646. Every time they try to shut you up, cry louder.

  647. Every time somebody tries to reel you in, get louder because

  648. Jesus is passing by. Come on.

  649. If you see somebody praying, let's pray right now.

  650. One for another. I'm there's demonstration in

  651. this house right now. There's an operation of the Holy

  652. Ghost in this room right now. I pray that healing virtue would

  653. flow in this room right now. I pray healing virtue would flow

  654. in this room right now. If you need a healing in your

  655. body, you ought to lift your hand and receive it right now.

  656. I don't have to leave this house with pain.

  657. I don't have to leave this house with discomfort because my knee

  658. is going to cause him to come out of hiding.

  659. Come on, involve yourself right now.

  660. Involve yourself right now. The waters are troubled.

  661. The waters are troubled. Don't let this moment pass by.

  662. Come on. Let your need reach out and grab

  663. him. Let your need reach out and grab

  664. him.
