Hallelujah. Come on.
-
Can we lift our hands all over this house tonight?
-
Can we lift our voices and just begin to talk to him in this
-
place? And surely the.
-
Presence of the Lord is in this house, and surely He's worthy of
-
all honor, all praise and all. Glory.
-
He's deserving. Of it tonight, he's deserving of
-
it every. Day from the rising of the sun
-
to the going down the same. His name is worthy.
-
His name is worthy. Hallelujah, Hallelujah.
-
It feels good to be in the House of the Lord on a Monday night.
-
And the writer said, I was glad when they said unto me, let us
-
go into the House of the Lord. And I don't care if it's Monday,
-
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and even Saturday.
-
I'm just glad to be in the House of the Lord and to feel his
-
presence, to be with his people. And it's an honor, It's a
-
privilege to be here. If you've got your Bibles, I'd
-
like to take our attention. To the Book of.
-
Ezra chapter #2 It is such an honor and a privilege to be here
-
this week and certainly feel the presence of God in this house.
-
And I believe there's a. Refreshing in the Holy.
-
Ghost for us here tonight if we want it and there's strength in
-
this house. If we want it, it's here.
-
And and we give honor today to your leadership, Pastor and
-
Sister McGee. We love them and appreciate
-
them, appreciate their family, this church, such tremendous
-
host, always so kind. And appreciate your hospitality
-
to my wife and I. And we certainly say thank you.
-
Thank you very, very much. And this is revival.
-
This is revival. It's a wonderful night for
-
somebody to be strengthened and somebody to be helped tonight.
-
And Ezra chapter #2 I'm going to read one verse to us, and I'll
-
let us be seated. Verse #18 when you're there
-
shot. Amen.
-
The Bible says the. Children of Jorah 112, somebody
-
say God bless him. I don't want to be him.
-
The children of Jorah 112 I want to preach to us for just a few
-
moments tonight with the help of the Lord.
-
Ain't got a clue where we're going to get to, but I believe
-
the Lord's going to have his way in this house.
-
And but I want to talk to us from this subject.
-
Dance in the rain, dance in the rain.
-
I believe there's revival rains that are in this house and
-
there's a refreshing rain that is in this house tonight and.
-
Would you? Lift your hands.
-
Would you lift your hearts? Towards Heaven Tonight 1.
-
More time, would you? Talk to him.
-
God we love. You cheese.
-
Hallelujah, Hallelujah. Come on.
-
I think some of you ought to just go ahead and.
-
Press for just a moment to go. Ahead and lay aside every
-
weight, everything that's tried to beset you, everything that's
-
tried to bombard your mind. Go ahead and just cast it off.
-
Cast it aside and say, God, I'm going to be receptive to what
-
you have for me tonight, God. God, I'm not going to push away
-
the refreshing that you have for my mind and my body and my
-
spirit tonight, God. God, I believe there's a
-
refreshing rain for First Apostolic Church.
-
Oh God, would you have your way in this house tonight?
-
Lord God, would you accomplish what only you can accomplish
-
tonight In the name of Jesus, in the name of.
-
Jesus. In the name of Jesus, somebody
-
shout in. Jesus name in Jesus name.
-
Before you're seated, would you clap your hands?
-
Unto the. Lord, in the Jesus name, in
-
Jesus name, in Jesus name, you can be seated tonight.
-
God bless you. I know this has.
-
Already been echoed, but I want to echo it as well.
-
Thank you so much for being in the House of the Lord tonight on
-
a Monday night. And I am certainly very much
-
appreciative, just as your pastor and his wife and family
-
are, that you are here because the.
-
Truth is, if you weren't here. I wouldn't have nobody to preach
-
to tonight. And so I'm very grateful that
-
you are here tonight and I, I certainly hope you'll be here
-
tomorrow night and Wednesday night.
-
And because I believe the Lords got greater things in store for
-
us this week. Somebody say ma'am.
-
For most casual readers, you just might miss it if you're
-
simply skimming through the scriptures because the truth.
-
Is tonight it's. Just a name.
-
That rhymes with. Dora that is found amongst a
-
list of other names. There's no mention of miracles.
-
There's no armies conquered, you won't find where there is any
-
sea splits, you cannot find where he escaped the lion's den
-
unharmed, and you certainly won't read the scriptures of
-
where he came out of the fiery furnace unharmed without the
-
smell of smoke. Because it's simply a name.
-
And I don't know about you, but I'm sometimes guilty of skimming
-
the scriptures when there's just a.
-
Bunch of names. But this is a hidden name that's
-
found amongst many other names. It's it's just a name, a name
-
Jorah. And while to many it's just a
-
name, a hidden name, you and I know that God never includes
-
something for nothing. Throughout the word of God,
-
there are no moments where he just wasted words or wasted ink
-
in the word of God. The Bible is not full of
-
prophecy to simply fill the pages for us.
-
The Bible is not full of instruction and inspiration so
-
that we have something cool to talk about.
-
The truth is God never includes something for nothing.
-
The Bible teaches us that prophecy came not in old time by
-
the will of man, by holy men of God spake as they were moved by
-
the Holy Ghost. The writer would declare to us
-
all scripture is profitable, is given by the inspiration of God,
-
is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for
-
instruction and righteousness. All scripture is profitable
-
because God never includes something for nothing.
-
After all, the writer tells us that we know that all things
-
work together for the good to them that love God to them who
-
are the called according to His purpose, because God does not
-
include something for nothing. Can I tell us tonight there's
-
not one of us sitting here that was sitting here for nothing.
-
There's not one of us sitting here tonight just to feel a
-
seed. But there is a purpose behind
-
the reason that you and I are in the Pew.
-
There's purpose behind the fact that we're in revival on a
-
Monday night. I believe we can receive victory
-
because we're in revival. We can receive joy unspeakable
-
and full of. Glory, because here.
-
There's purpose behind us being here in this.
-
Moment in this moment. There's purpose behind this
-
hidden name that we find on the pages of our text in Ezra
-
chapter #2 you will find you will find in Hebrew that jorah
-
means the first rain or the autumn rain.
-
It's the early rain that softens the ground after a long dry
-
season. Stay with me for just a few
-
moments In the Bible days. Israel knew what drought would
-
feel like, both naturally and spiritually.
-
The Bible will frequently tell us of days of their days of
-
drought as a consequence of their actions.
-
The days of drought, there was no doubt, had an effect on their
-
lives, on their food, on their water sources.
-
It affected their chances of survival.
-
But while Israel knew what drought felt like, both
-
naturally and spiritually, there would come a time through the
-
prophet Joel that God would promise that He will cause to
-
come down for you. The rain or the former rain and
-
the latter rain. Understand with me tonight,
-
Church. The former rain refers to the
-
autumn rain or the Jorah rain. In Israel.
-
This was the rain that was essential for softening the
-
ground. It was the first rain through
-
the prophet goddess. I'm going to pour out what is
-
needed. My measured provision will not
-
be missing in the season of Chora.
-
I believe. I believe Chora.
-
By name was a. Prophetic reminder.
-
That God has a way of sending you what you need, when you need
-
it. And can I remind the church?
-
On a Monday. Night that, that is just what.
-
God is still doing. For First Apostolic Church, He
-
is sending you what you need, when you need it.
-
I believe God's trying to tell somebody tonight.
-
I'll send you the right. Person at the right.
-
Time. I'll put you in the right place
-
at the right time. After all, I am still Jehovah
-
Jireh. I am still the Lord that
-
provides. I am still God.
-
I am still God, and my God shall supply every need according to
-
His riches and glory in Christ Jesus.
-
The rain may start small, but it's starting.
-
The. Healing may start small, but I
-
believe there's evidence that it's starting.
-
And I believe tonight we ought to rejoice in the Lord our God
-
because our blessing is not just in the rain.
-
We rejoice because we know we serve a God that is faithful day
-
after day, week after week, month after month.
-
It. May have been dry for a little
-
while, but there's a rain that's falling.
-
Upon first Apostolic Church. That is worth rejoicing.
-
About. It's a rain that's softening the
-
ground. I believe God is sending this
-
church what you need when you need it.
-
There's hope in this. House there's.
-
Healing in this house The power of the Holy Ghost is in this
-
house I. Wish you lift your hands with
-
them for just a moment. What we need is in this place.
-
What we need is in this house. Tonight I don't need to feel
-
good. Tonight, I just need a touch of
-
the master. Tonight I just need his shrink.
-
I just need his presence. I just need his.
-
Power what you and I have. Need of tonight is in this.
-
House tonight, it's not up the street.
-
It's not around the corner, it's right here.
-
At First Apostolic Church. Is where your hope is found.
-
Oh if you believe that, would you clap your hands unto the
-
Lord? Come on, I wish you a clap a
-
little bit louder like you believe that God is sending you
-
what you need when you need it. In Ezra chapter #2 the Bible
-
tells us the children of Jorah 112.
-
I'll say it again, I don't want to.
-
Be him. But you got to understand, I
-
don't have time to read all of this tonight, But you got to
-
understand if you was to read the Ezra chapter #2 you would
-
find a genealogical listing, A roll call of those who returned
-
from Babylon to Jerusalem. I was those that returned to
-
rebuild the temple to re establish life life.
-
You can read it for yourself and you can find individuals that
-
were leaders and you can find individuals that were priests
-
and Levites and servants. You can find a lot of great
-
people listed in Ezra chapter 2. But also, you can find everyday
Ezra 2 chapter mention
-
families like the children of Jorah.
-
You can find everyday people like you and I that show up to
-
church on a Monday night of revival.
-
You can find everyday people like us who are standing in the
-
shadows, just us and our family or you and your family.
-
Can I tell you, while it's true we can't read a lot about Jorah
-
and his family, we don't know a lot about their history.
-
We don't know a lot about their children.
-
We just know because they're listed there that they showed up
-
and they came back and I've come to preach to some people on a
-
Monday night that feel like I'm just in the shadows.
-
I'm just here. I'm just here on a Monday night.
-
I feel overlooked. I feel like I'm nobody cares
-
about me. I'm hearing the lies of the
-
adversary that says I'm insignificant, that my family
-
doesn't matter, that I'm just a janitor, that I'm just a.
-
Part of the praise. Team, I've come to tell them the
-
church tonight, the role that you play in the Kingdom of God,
-
it matters because the truth is you don't have to be loud to be
-
faithful and you don't have to be famous to be fruitful.
-
But when you made-up your mind I'm coming to revival, it made a
-
difference. It made a difference in the
-
house when you chose to come to church.
-
You don't understand. All I do around here is adjust
-
the sound. Am I all right?
-
Am I all right? I'm going to shut my eyes so I
-
can't hear you. I don't remember what I'm
-
supposed to say. Clock it you'll.
-
Clock that 750. Clock that you don't understand.
-
I'm just here because Pastor said I had to be here anyway.
-
I'm here. You don't understand the role
-
that I play. I'm just the first one in the
-
prayer room praying that the Holy Ghost will move.
-
You don't understand the role that I play.
-
I just play my instrument and I just pray for pastor and his
-
family. You don't understand.
-
What I do is no, no, it's not insignificant.
-
The role that you're playing in this church is key to the
-
revival that is taking place in the church.
-
I'm going to come over here and preach a little while.
-
Can I tell you the role that you play in this church?
-
It matters. It's making a difference to
-
what's happening in this city. It's making a difference to
-
what's happening. What we felt.
-
Sunday morning what we? Felt Sunday.
-
Night. What we feel right now is
-
because somebody made-up in their mind, I'm going to show
-
up, I'm going to roll up my sleeves.
-
I'm going to be a part of Revival in Mount Carmel, IL
-
because somebody showed up. It's not insignificant.
-
It does matter. Tired, it matters.
-
Don't feel good. It matters I ain't got all my
-
ducks in a row. It matters I ain't got
-
everything together. It matters.
-
It matters that you walk through those doors on a.
-
Monday night 'cause I. Believe something's going to get
-
down inside of your spirit that. Says this ain't just.
-
Another Monday night service. There's revival happening in
-
here, there's a rain that's falling, there's a glory that's
-
being released in this house. The devil is a liar, I said.
-
The devil is a liar. The fact that you made-up in
-
your mind, I'm showing up. It made a difference when you
-
made the declaration. As for me in my house, we're
-
going to serve the Lord. It made a difference.
-
It made a difference when you're made-up in your mind.
-
I'm going to pursue the promise that God has for me and.
-
My family, I may not get the recognition I want, but thank
-
God I get the revival that the church deserves, that the church
-
needs, that the church desires. I heard it said once that
-
sometimes the greatest legacy isn't the one written, it's the
-
one walked out in the rain when Jorah made his way back, his way
-
back to rebuild, when he left in pursuit of his promise, in
-
pursuit of everything that was designed to be rebuilt.
-
I just believe Church, something got inside of his spirit that
-
said I'm going to dance in the rain.
-
I'm not going to wait for the rain to stop so I can stare at
-
everything pretty that's been produced because of the rain.
-
I'm going to. Learn how to dance.
-
In the rain with. Every step back.
-
I believe something got. Inside of His Spirit.
-
That said, I'm not just going to enjoy the sights and the sounds.
-
I'm going to rejoice over what God is doing as the promised
-
provision is being poured out. I believe we're.
-
Living in our church where we don't have to wait for the
-
fulfillment of everything before we rejoice about what God is
-
doing in this hour. Dancing is biblical.
-
I hope you brought your dancing shoes.
-
Because it's biblical. You don't believe me?
-
You can find in Exodus 15 that dancing is a natural response to
-
God's goodness and mercy. The women danced to celebrate
-
the Israelites deliverance from Egypt.
-
You can find in Luke 15 there was dancing as the prodigal son
-
made his way back home. You can find in First Samuel 18
-
as the victorious troops were returning home after killing the
-
Philistines. There was dancing and there was
-
singing. I still believe it's Apostolic
-
that we dance unto the Lord. That's why the Bible.
-
Said let them praise his name in the dance.
-
Praise him with a. Tremble and a dance.
-
I know there's a time to weep and there's a time to laugh, but
-
there's also a time to dance. There's a time to rejoice.
-
There's a time to be excited about what God is doing.
-
David dance before the Lord with all of his mind.
-
That means don't worry about and I believe First Apostolic Church
-
has every right to dance as God is softening the ground, as God
-
is preparing the harvest for this season, I'm glad.
-
That I don't have to wait for 100 Soul Revival to get excited.
-
Because I know. When rain is falling, the ground
-
is softening, and that's enough. That's enough in itself to
-
rejoice about. The fact that the rain is
-
falling is enough to rejoice about.
-
God have mercy. I wouldn't embarrass nobody for
-
nothing, but I'm so glad this sister's here tonight, I said.
-
I'm so glad you're here tonight. I'm glad she's in this house
-
tonight because it's proof that God is softening the ground,
-
that God is softening the ground for what is getting ready to
-
come. We may not understand.
-
It all but I just know I don't have to wait.
-
Till there's a. Hundred of these.
-
Sisters, I can rejoice because. There's one in the house.
-
I can rejoice the fact that there's.
-
One in this place. That says, hey, I got to get
-
hold of something. I don't know about you, but I'm
-
glad tonight to know that God is still drawing, that God is still
-
bringing in the harvest, that God is still restoring lives.
-
It's worth rejoicing about. It's worth being excited about
-
because. It won't be long.
-
And your sons and daughters are? Coming.
-
And your grandchildren are coming.
-
It's worth dancing in the rain. It's worth being excited about
-
what God is doing in this hour. It's worth being excited about.
-
I know some of y'all are thinking.
-
I don't know if I can do what Bishop McGee just did.
-
Yeah, I believe you can do it. I believe you can rejoice over
-
what God is doing. Can I take us we?
-
All got reason to dance. We all.
-
The fact that we're breathing tonight is a reason to rejoice.
-
The fact that there's life in the church, the fact that God is
-
working is reason, isn't enough to rejoice.
-
My God, it feels good in this house, I said.
-
It feels good in this house. It feels good in this place.
-
Feels like a place where we can dance, I said.
-
It feels like a place where we can dance.
-
We can dance unto the Lord because he's a good God, I said.
-
He's a good God. He's a good God.
-
Some of y'all think I ran out of words.
-
I ain't ran out of words. The Holy Ghost is in this house
-
right now and some of you are going to have to grab a hold of
-
this that there's enough strength in this house to dance
-
in the midst of your miracle dance.
-
If you ain't got no other reason, you can rejoice because
-
the rain is softening the ground.
-
There's a rain in this house that is bringing.
-
Revival. We can dance because we can look
-
around. And see what the Lord has done,
-
how He's healed our bodies, how He's.
-
Touched our minds how he saved us just.
-
In time. I know the adversary fed you the
-
liar that the drought was going to be forever, but there's
-
provision in this house. There's provision in this
-
sanctuary. I just believe that God is
-
getting ready to turn our morning in the dancing.
-
I just believe there's a joy releasing in this house.
-
Come on, there's a rain in this house.
-
Come on, there's a rain in this. House There's a rain.
-
In this house that's. Happening right now, you want to
-
go ahead and dance in. The rain In the name of Jesus.
-
In the name of Jesus. Right now, in the name of Jesus.
-
Every spirit of sadness be lifted, every spirit of
-
depression be lifted, every spirit of anxiety be lifted.
-
Let the oil of joy fall in this house.
-
In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus, come on.
-
The Holy Ghost is in this house. The Holy Ghost is in this house.
-
Every hand lifted, everybody praying across this house in
-
the. Name of Jesus.
-
Come on, there's joy in this altar right now.
-
Come on, there's joy in this altar right now.
-
There's peace in this altar right now.
-
There's a refreshing in this. Altar.
-
Right now there's joy, unspeakable and full of glory.
-
It's in this house. It's what you've been praying
-
for. It's what you've been believing
-
for. It's what you've been fasting
-
for. It's what you've been craving.
-
It's in this house. Yes, yes, Yes, God.
-
Yes God, yes God come on there's more in this house.
-
They just need to make their way out of their seed and make their
-
way around the Salter. Right now the Holy Ghost is
-
doing the work. Right now, the.
-
Spirit of God is doing the. Work right now.
-
There's a refreshing in the Salter.
-
The strength that you need is. Right here.
-
The hope that you need is right here.
-
I would step out of my seed. I'd make my.
-
Way around the Salter. And say, God, let it rain on me,
-
God, let it fall. Follow me God, I've showed up.
-
Now bless me. Yes, Yes.
-
Yes, yes, yes. Come on.
-
Here it is. In the name of Jesus.
-
In the name of Jesus. Here it is the.
-
Healing that you've been wanting, it's here in this
-
house. It's here in this sanctuary.
-
It's here, it's here, it's here. I can't explain it, but it's
-
here. God, it's here.
-
God, it's here. It's here.
-
Come on. Heaven already knows you showed
-
up tonight. Heaven already knows that you
-
made your way into his house. Heaven already knows.
-
That you made your way here, you're on the list.
-
You're on heaven's. List tonight he.
-
Wants to touch you. He wants to help you.
-
He wants. To save you, it's here.
-
You're Lobo. Yes God.
-
Yes God. Yes, God, Every stronghold be
-
torn down in the name of Jesus, every high thing that exalts
-
itself against the knowledge of God.
-
Oh God, we're bringing into captivity to the obedience of
-
Christ right now. In the name of Jesus, In the
-
name of Jesus, every lie be torn down.
-
Every lie be torn. Down every lie.
-
Be torn down. God, let your truth.
-
Come alive. Let your truth be resurrected in
-
our. Lives.
-
In our minds. In our spirits tonight.
-
Come on. There it is.
-
There it is. It's the revival that you
-
thought you'd never have. It's the revival that you
-
thought you'd never experienced in your whole life.
-
It's the revival that the Adversary said you would never
-
have. But it's yours tonight.
-
It's yours tonight. It's for you tonight.
