Jesus Bought A House - Part 1.5 | Pastor Paul McGee

Amen. Bless the Lord, O my soul, all

that is within me, Bless His holy name.

And the next verse tells us to forget not all of His benefits,

Amen. It is beneficial to serve the

Lord, Amen, And give our time and attention to Him before we

get started today. In the month of October, we had

some baptisms and I was out of certificates, Amen.

And so I want to present a certificate today to James

Campbell. James JT Campbell, ladies and

gentlemen. Who was baptized on October the

15th? In the name of the Lord Jesus.

Christ, and we're so proud. Of him aren't we?

Amen. Hallelujah.

Nothing like getting the Lord's name on you, right?

But neither is there salvation in any other scripture tells us

today if you'll stand this morning.

So good to see. Each one of you folks, I feel

like I. Wasn't even here in the month of

November. I said it just we were gone and

then I had to get sick. I guess whatever that was all

about. It's usually like one time of

year. So I told the Lord, I already

did my 1, so I'm good for a year.

Amen. So, so good to see each of you

today. And with that in mind, then I'm

I'm reaching back. This is really poor planning on

my part in just a series of unfortunate events.

And that is, I talked about something at the beginning of

November about who owns you that I never got finished.

And I want to finish that today. And someone said I I've slept at

least three times since then. And so I'm just going to do

probably a review in 10 minutes of that thing and I want to move

forward. All right, from there.

Who owns you? Does anybody even remember that

at all? Some do.

All right, that really does my heart well.

I'm going to walk out of here with a smile on my face today

just because of that. Amen.

But I want to start from the same jump point of First

Corinthians chapter #6 and verse #19 My wife has already said the

next two Sunday nights we have other things besides our typical

customary service. And so today and the last Sunday

of the month are, are are are two Sunday, 2 Sundays that we'll

have two services just like we'll have today.

So just keep that in mind as you go through your holiday season.

First Corinthians chapter 6. And I want to read from verse

1 Corinthians 6 · chapter mention

#19 this morning and verse #20 today.

The Bible says what know ye not that your body is the temple of

the Holy Ghost, which is in you, which you have of God, and ye

are not your own for your bought with a price.

Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which

are gods. Can you say those last three

words with me, which are gods again?

Look, and considering that question today, who owns you?

We'll do a little review and we'll get in it and we'll still

be able to have lunch today. Amen.

God bless Father, I love you today we're thankful, Lord for

your. Word, God.

It's a powerful word. It's a relevant word, Lord.

Jesus for our lives, I. Pray God you minister each and

every individual under the sound of my voice.

We pray God bring enlightenment and revelation.

God I pray Lord Jesus today and we'll thank you and praise you

for it in Jesus name by seeing. Man, you may be seated.

Today in Jesus thing. So let's do just a little.

Review this. Morning because whenever you

talk about being bought or you talk about someone else owning

you or we're bought with a price.

That really showcases the idea, an idea.

And a word that's in Scripture from Old Testament through the

New Testament. And it's the idea of redemption

when? We talk about the idea.

Of redemption of purchasing or buying something that's very

similar, but redemption even has a little step further because

redemption is is essentially buying something back that that

once belonged to you it once was yours in the past and so you

secure it again or you buy it back and.

We see that. That throughout the Old

Testament, even in the book of Leviticus, there were things

that were redeemed or bought back, such as houses and homes.

And the Bible also illustrates in the book of Leviticus that

there were people who were bought back.

Individuals could have got so deep in debt they didn't have

the money or the resources in order to take care of that.

And sometimes they sold out their own lives to another for

the purpose of a debt. And sometimes their family would

redeem them back and. That's where we get the idea

that's in the book of Ruth. And Boaz a Boaz being a kinsman

Redeemer for Naomi and her her daughter-in-law Ruth.

And if you'll remember, there were three.

Qualifications for a kinsman Redeemer.

Number one, that individual had to be related to the.

Family had to be related to the one that was going to be

redeemed #2. That individual had to be.

Able to pay the price and #3 that person had to be willing to

pay the price, which I think is where the real sweet spot is.

Amen. That we consider the.

Scripture in the word of God and why why that is meaningful to

you and eyes because the Bible tells.

Us in the New Testament. In the book of humans that we

were. Carnal that we were sold under

sin, the Bible. We understand that since Adam we

have been born into this condition of sin.

We are sinners at birth, right? David said that he was shapen in

iniquity and sin. Did his mother conceive him?

We were brought into this world as as sinners.

But the honorable thing about the Lord Jesus Christ our.

Redeemer, our kinsman Redeemer is that New Testament tells us

that whenever Jesus came in Bethlehem's Manger, which we're

going to celebrate this month, that.

Whenever he came, he came in the likeness of men.

He came in the. Fashion of a man He, he.

Could have chose to come. A variety of different ways, but

he chose to come a part of mankind, the family, the family

of humanity, with purpose. And as a result of being kin, if

you will, to. Humanity.

Amen. God, having made him, made

himself a body. The Bible says in Corinthians 2

wit that God was. In Christ that he made himself.

A body, the Bible tells. Us that the apostle Paul said

clearly in Acts 20. That.

That Lord Jesus Christ purchased us, and he purchased us with his

own blood He purchased. Us with his own blood, the Bible

even says in another. Place of Scripture, First

Timothy. Two, that he gave himself a

ransom, a payment a. Price A purchase price for all

of us. Amen.

No one is excluded. From that there's not a race and

ethnicity, a nationality. No one is excluded from that and

so. Here we have the Lord.

Jesus Christ, Brother Pat, who is became a.

Part of the. Human family.

He, he, he. Has the price that's needed for

the payment. The.

Blood as a result of becoming a part of the.

Family, but the thing that. Touches my heart more than

anything. Not only does he have the

payment price, but he also Amen and that's.

Of his free will he gave Amen himself a ransom.

For all. And so that blood then became a

redeeming blood. He bought us back.

I don't know if you realize that, but he, he owns you in

many respects because He is the Creator.

Amen. He's the creator of the

universe. And of all things, And so he.

Owned us by. Virtue of just.

Even being a part. Of creation or a created.

Thing. Amen.

But He redeemed us with something precious, and that's

his own life's blood. The New Testament says that we

were not. Redeemed with.

Corruptible things such as silver and.

Gold, but by the precious. Blood of Christ as a lamb

without blemish and. So it took that precious.

Blood to redeem us and. Whenever that took place, there

was a transfer of. Ownership in our life.

I'm not owned by the same one that I used to be.

Owned back by. There's a transfer of ownership.

See before under sin. Being a slave.

To sin, if you will. A servant to sin.

Then I did what sin wanted me to.

Do in my life sin was my. Master it said go here, do this,

participate in that. And those were the things that I

participated in. Those were the things that I

did. I I didn't have, of course, my

own. Will per SE because sin had a

hold on me. Sin.

Was the master and I was the servant, but whenever I was

redeemed. By the Lord Jesus Christ.

There was an ownership that took took place.

Ownership switch, Ownership change?

No. Longer am I then a.

Servant to sin. But I'm a servant.

To a new master. I'm a servant unto the.

Lord, and so then I. Live my life, Amen as my new

Master would desire. Amen for me to live that life.

And God even does this with the Old Testament.

Israel. Many.

Times he talks to them. Because he was.

Their delivered to get. Them out of the bondage.

That they were in in Egypt for all those years, generations of

people in. Bondage.

And he delivered them out of that.

They were slaves to Pharaoh. And they were.

Slaves to Egypt. But whenever he called.

Them out, he says. Now you are my people, right?

Hey man, he's possessive. Of them you're you're my people.

You're my servants now. And he oftimes reminded them,

because you are mine and he'll call their memory back to it.

He said. Remember you were bondsman in

Egypt, but you've been redeemed by me.

And he would go on then and begin to say, we even see this

with the 10 commandments. He told them to remember that I

brought you out and remember I took you out of the House of

bondage. And then he starts going into

those commandments about thou. Shalt have no other gods.

Before me. Thou shalt not make.

Into the any graven image. Thou shalt not bear false

witness against. Your neighbor and all the

commandments. He begins to expect something of

them because he had purchased them.

They were his now. He men, and so with.

All of that being said and done today, there's something that

whenever I begin to read what God's redemption does for me,

what God's redemption does for me, let me.

Just hit if I'm still. In review, let me just hit a

few. Of them this morning.

What God's redemption does for me, the Bible says this is what

he did. He redeemed me from the curse of

the law. Let me explain that real quick.

Because the law, all the law could do is show me I'm a

Sinner. It's like a rule or a standard

that came up to my life and it it could mirror back to me where

I'm wrong, but the law could not correct the.

Wrong in my life the. Curse of the law is it told me.

It's horrible, but I can't do anything about it, the Galatian

says, Though. Then the law became our

schoolmaster to bring us to Christ, because whereas the law

couldn't do anything about your condition, grace and mercy and

Christ could. It could see what's wrong and

alter the wrong, change the wrong, repair the wrong.

Redemption took us away. From the curse of the law, it

also. Says that it.

Redeemed us from under. The law.

It says in Titus that it redeemed us from all that I love

all, because all's a big word in my dictionary.

All iniquity. And he called into himself a

peculiar people. He redeemed.

Us, we looked at this. Weeks ago from our vain

conversations. And when we talk about that in

the New Testament, conversations is not usually about talking

conversations. It's about conduct.

It's about behavior. He redeemed us from vain.

That's empty. Conversations that That's empty

behavior. That's meaningless, aimless

living, aimless conduct. Don't you know that some of us

prior to getting under new ownership, we had some conduct

that was just meaningless. We did some things, said some

things, acted some ways that were empty.

But he puts. Purpose now in your action.

He puts purpose now in the way. Amen that.

You live and so if you'll remember.

I made the analogy and there's no analogy that's.

Perfect. But I made the analogy.

About whenever my wife and I. Bought a.

Home, you remember that? Bought a home.

I bought the home. We we we paid a.

Price to to obtain the. Home.

And I emphasize to you that the home.

Didn't that the home didn't find me per SE but but and and the

home did not pay for me to live in it.

But as the owner, I. Bought the.

Home all right. And I.

Paid the price to. Live in that home and as a.

Result of that it was my prerogative now being owner of

the. Home.

But we started doing things inside the home.

There were no furnishings there, but we started furnishing the

home. I told you about the.

Crazy wall colors we. Had in our kitchen.

That didn't represent us well, so we started.

Changing the paint color inside. We started.

We started fixing. Some things up in the.

In other words, some of the things that you would have found

inside that. Home under the previous owner.

You can't walk into that home today and find those same things

there were in our living room, these little cut.

Out niches between the two by fours.

Almost for like a little. Just a little niche.

There where? You can put in, you know.

Whatever that's no longer there. I put drywall over that finish

that that's no longer there. That was indicative.

Of the previous owner. That was an indicative of these

owners. There's some of these things

that that that we did did in a home.

I mean the the type of curtains and the colors and all these.

Things and you know. There's an Old Testament

scripture in First Samuel 16 Seven.

Whenever Samuel goes to find David, really, that's who he's

going to find. He doesn't realize that's who it

is at first to anoint to be Israel's next king and Samuel's

going down the line of the different brothers of David and

Eliad and the different ones. There's a verse in Scripture

that says that the Lord spoke to him because he's seen the

stature or such of 1 and the spirit of the Lord said in first

Samuel 16 seven said man looketh on the outward appearance, but

the Lord looketh at at the heart and and that's tremendous.

That's that's awesome because here's the thing about God.

This is the thing really, what the Scriptures are underscoring

about that He is the only one that can see both the inside of

you and the outside of you. Only man can see the exterior,

but God can see the inside of you and outside of you.

And so I asked. You several weeks ago.

What's the interior of your life going to look like?

Who's? Deciding your hopes and dreams.

Who? Who do you belong to?

Who? Who is your owner?

Who? Really.

Owns you when we talk about the inner man.

Of our lives. But ladies and gentlemen, here

we are now. To my lesson or a few minutes

in. I went a little over 10 minutes,

but. Here's the fascinating thing

about. Whenever we bought our home and

we did concentrate on the inside and majorly.

But when we got to that? To a certain level of

livability. On the inside you.

Know where we turned our attention?

The outside. When we first got our house, it

was a pale yellow. If you know my.

Wife. That is not indicative of Don

McGee. Not a pale yellow.

And we spent one fall day and I think she would, she would even

help, but we painted the exterior of that whole house a

Gray and, and, and. Because that was reflecting.

The new owners that was in the house.

We changed the way that the. Shutters looked on the House

when we first got that house. That house had a.

Patio in the backyard, but we didn't know it because it was so

overgrown with. Grass.

It was covered up. It had a feature.

You didn't even know was there because it was overgrown.

The Wild had overtaken it whenever I discovered there was

a patio back the other owners. Didn't care about that, but.

Whenever I discovered there was a feature here that could be

used to the profit and even the value of the home, I said let's

clear out the grass and what's wild on here and let's let's

bring some. Life Amen to this.

Amen. Can I tell you today that

there's some that they don't care about the.

Outside of their house. And again, not every analogy.

Is perfect, and there's probably some exception to this.

But I. Believe I'm safe in saying.

That at the outside. Of the house is in.

Ear repair with neglect it's. Probably a good indication how

the inside. What I'm saying is, I'm sure it

there's rare occasions that the outside just looks like.

It's unkept and the inside is pristine.

Everybody doing OK? Amen.

Because I don't care what Joe Bob thinks.

I don't. Care what mother neighbors

think. Listen, God knows you're inside

and God knows you're outside and.

God in scripture in our text says glorify me in our body and

in our spirit, which aren't both His.

He owns it both. He told us in one scripture that

there would be a cleansing of the filthiness of our flesh and

our spirit that's external and that's internal.

Why? Because again, they both.

Belong unto him. Listen to me before, whenever we

bought our house, I didn't just buy and secure ownership for the

inside. Of my house.

Whenever I bought my house, those shingles belong to me.

Those shutters let me go a step further.

There's a certain amount of land and acreage around my house that

I own. There's a certain sphere around

my house. Let me put it just in layman's

terms some. Of us are allowing.

Things in the. Sphere of what God?

Owns. That don't need to be there.

That's trespassing, you know, Tracy.

If somebody's on your land, that shouldn't be you're.

Going to get. One of those artillery guns you

got. And say hey I.

Own this land, man. I'm almost feeling the preacher

come in the building. Because sometimes we'll just

ignorantly allow. Things to tramp on, things that

God owns, that they have no reason, no purpose, no.

Benefit well glory. So I'm aware that someone drives

by and they see my grass tall and my door not painted and our

flower beds need weeded and all that stuff.

They're they're probably drawing some type of conclusion about

the inside of my house. And someone might say, well,

pastor, that's just not fair. Well, it may not be.

Fair, but man sees the outward appearance.

Even God recognizes that. So why?

That's why, folks. When he redeemed you, he didn't

just redeem your heart and your inner man.

He's redeeming your body. The.

Means by which you express your inward self through your.

Outward Self. So I don't want to.

Just be concerned. About about who decides what?

Will go on on the. Inside of me, but what's?

Going on on the. Outside of me?

And is what's going on in the outside of me reflective of what

has? Happened on the inside of me.

I glorify God in my body and in my spirit.

So the question then I posed then again to you this morning.

We said weeks ago, you know who decides about your interior.

Well, let. Me ask you who makes decisions

about your exterior? That part of you that man sees

you say, well, just listen for a moment.

Who determines? What words come out your mouth?

Do you do that or does your new owner do that?

Pastor, we liked your little three-week furlough, you know,

and this stuff. Amen.

Who determines how you interact with other people?

Who determines how you you treat your?

Spouse and your children, your parents and your friends and

your coworkers and your peers. Who?

Who determines how, how, how you you, you you dress yourself or

you adorn yourself or what you do with yourself?

Well, glory. Who determines what you do for

a? Living what you do.

With your money, whether you come to church or not, whether

you worship the Lord or not, who?

Who do you belong to? Do we decide these things for

ourselves? Or do you allow the one who who

owns you, the one who redeemed you?

Who, had it not been for him, you'd.

Still be under the old. Ownership the same condition,

the same sin, the same Rd. Or do I cause and stop for a

moment and remember that I am the Lord thy God and I delivered

thee out of because some of you have brilliant testimonies here

today. I was the drunk, I was the

addict. I was this I was but not

anymore. Yes, such were some of us.

But we've been washed and we've been sanctified and we've been

redeemed. And so I'm going to glory

because I used to glorify something else with this body.

I used to glorify something else with the interior of my life.

But now I'm going to glorify God and I'm going to glorify him

inwardly and outwardly because I'm not my own, I belong to Him.

And if we did that to the NTH degree under 1 owner, we need to

the same. Level of degree.

To do it under our new. Ownership.

Amen. So I've been, I've been

redeemed, I've been born again. I I believe in the.

Lord I'm we, we. I want to be accountable.

I don't think there's a single person in this but that would

not want to be accounted as one of his.

But if I want to acknowledge that I'm one of him and I've

been bought. With a price.

Then there are other things that go with that concerning his

ownership in my life. His ownership in my life means

I've given my rights over to him.

Let me say it like this. You know what?

I'm I'm not a part of a homeowners association, OK, but

my neighbors are my neighbors. If my neighbors don't like my

Gray house, they can just live with that because they didn't

put 1 dime on that. House, but we'll.

Go through life sometimes. Worried about what other people

think of the way that we. Live our lives when it's being

lived according to our new owner and we'll let somebody that

doesn't have no ounce of blood for the purchase price of you

try to dictate. You didn't shed no blood for me.

You didn't Get Me Out of my addiction.

You didn't Get Me Out of my sin. Say what you will, what you

like, what you don't like. I feel a little bit like David.

David was dancing when he was bringing the Ark of the Covenant

back and even his own wife looked down upon.

He says this is not before you, it's not for your father, this

is for God. Because I understand who owns

me. I'm not trying to impress you.

I'm not trying to get on your good side.

I have an owner in my life, you. Amen.

Amen. Because of him being my.

Owner Now I'm I'm obligated just to allow him to.

Reign over. Every area of my life.

Inwardly. Outwardly, and if I truly

profess. That I believe in him, yet

living something differently outside of the scope of my

owner. Then the truth is I don't really

live it. Then I really don't believe he

is my owner. There's a there's a controversy.

Between what I may profess and then what I do the Bible has a

lot to say about Jesus purchased us or house even with his blood.

Hebrews 3, Brother Mason, one that we will throw up there

today and verse #5 the Bible says, and Moses verily was

faithful in all his house, and that word house.

There is not a literal structure.

He's talking about the framework of his family, right?

His relatives. He was very faithful in all of

His house as a servant for a testimony of those things which

were to be spoken. After verse 6 says, But Christ

there comes a contrast. But Christ as a son over His own

house, and then it gives definition about His house whose

house we are. Christ as the sun over His own

house, and it defines the house whose house we are.

This is the writer of Hebrews writing to say to people says

we, we, we are his house. Look now whose house we are if.

Conditional. Term If we hold fast the

confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end, that

means the same enthusiasm that I had of being his when I first

experienced his spirit. I got a hope firm to that

enthusiasm, firm to that submission that I had in the

moment when I received the Holy Ghost for the, the, the my life

until the end, I became know ye not that ye are the temple.

You're the House of the Holy Ghost people.

God, we are the. House, we are the.

House in which God dwells. Which is a wondrous.

Thing right, ladies and gentlemen.

From the very beginning, the. Tabernacle and wilderness.

God's Spirit comes in in the form of a cloud.

He feels his house. Temple of Solomon, it's

finished. It comes in in the form of a

cloud. He feels his house, Heritage

temple. In the New Testament, Little

Jesus is brought to the temple at the age of 12.

He's in the temple. He told his mom and dad.

I must be about my father's business.

Hey, man, he's in the house on the day of Pentecost when

suddenly there was a sound from heaven as a rushing mighty wind,

and it filled all of those 120 where they were sitting.

You know what happened? Just what happened with the,

the, the, the, the Tabernacle of Moses and the temple of Solomon

and Herod's temple. God was once again getting

inside of his house and with all of those houses, God told Moses,

this is how big I want the the outer court to be.

This is what furnishings I want them in.

This is the materials I want made of them.

Told the same for Solomon's told you know what he's doing.

He said if I'm going to own it, I have prerogative about what

it's made of, what it's content is, what takes place inside of

there, no different than with us now being the Temple of the Holy

Ghost. If I own it, I'm going to

describe what's in it, how it's furnished, what takes place.

It's a marvelous thing. From Genesis on through

Scripture, Lord, He owns it. He bought it.

With his own blood, the psalmist said in in psalms 93 and five,

he said, Thy testimonies are very sure.

He said Holiness becometh thine house, O Lord forever.

The new King James Version. Says it like this, holiness

adorns your house. The word adorn not my

definition. But the word adorn means to

beautify or make pleasant. It's not ugly, it's not old

fashioned, it's what makes us beautiful in the eyes of our

owner. Amen.

God considers it to be a beautiful thing and.

He wants it just the. Same the Bible.

Tells the story in Second Chronicles 20 and verse 21.

I'm trying to keep track of time.

Amen. The Bible.

Speaks of King Jehoshaphat that he saw this concept of holiness.

Amen that way as well. Remember, the Bible speaks of

God being holy. You have a holy Bible, you have

a holy God, you receive the Holy Ghost.

Amen, He said in the Old Testament, clarified New

Testament, Be holy, for I am holy.

And that makes sense. He's the owner.

You're going to see the. Fingerprints on the on.

Whatever the owner owns, going to see it through what he owns.

He's holy. You're going to see that then on

what he owns Haman. Jehoshaphat said this in Second

Chronicles 20 and 21. He says when they had consulted

the people, they were wondering how they were going to come up

and be. Victorious over an adversary and

the Long story short, they're going to sing out some praisers

and worshippers and. God was.

Going to send ambushments against their enemy, but know

what the scripture says here in particular and when he had

consulted. With the people he appointed.

Singers into the Lord, look what the the the.

Prescription is and that should praise the beauty of.

Holiness Jehoshaphat says I want.

You to get out there and I want you to praise the beauty of.

Holiness in in one sense. Jehoshaphat, even at that stage

in Scripture, stinged holiness as something that was beautiful.

We're the bride of Christ. Scripture says there's a lot of

analogies to the church, the bride of Christ, the body of

Christ, the. House of Christ, the Bible.

Teaches us that someday the Book of Revelation, when time is no

more and there's the marriage supper of the Lamb, the marriage

supper of the Lord Jesus Christ, that he's going to present to

himself. Ephesians 5 tells us he's going

to present to. Himself a glorious.

Church or a glorious. Bride or a glorious body?

All the analogies. A glorious house without spot or

wrinkle or any such thing. And he?

Says. It's going to be holy and

without blemish. That's the house.

That's the house Scripture says he's going to present to

himself. Holiness makes the bride a

beautiful bride of Christ, so don't underestimate the power,

Amen, of your Holiness, internally and externally.

Oh, how meaningful that is to the One who owns us, the Bible

says in Psalms 29 and 2. Given to the.

Lord glory due to his name. Worship the Lord in the beauty

of holiness. There's nothing more attractive,

nothing more glorious, nothing more beautiful than an assembly

of holy people worshiping the holy God with pure hands, David

said. He said, who's going to send him

to the hill of the Lord? Those with clean hands external

and pure hearts internal, you need to.

Pray every day as David. Prayed I'm a moving Psalms 19

and verse 14. David prays.

Let the words. Of my mouth.

It's not just in the mind, but it's something that's been

expressed. Outwardly let the words of my

mouth and the. Meditation of my heart, that's

inwardly, and we know this. Happens right?

Because. In New Testament, the Gospel of

Matthew, the Bible even says just to borrow a phrase, and

it's there. We love to use it, But from the

abundance of the the mouth, from the abundance of something

that's on the inside of us comes an external expression.

David says, Let the words of my mouth, that external expression,

and the meditation of my heart, that inward man, be acceptable.

In thy sight wait a minute, why she praises to God?

Because again, only God can see both the inward man and the

outward man. O Lord, my strength and my I

love how these Redeemer He ties this back Brother Fred to the

one who bought him. I said earlier in reality the

Lord owns us. Been born again of the water and

the Spirit for sure. The Lord owns you in two ways.

He owns you because he made you. The Bible tells us there in

Genesis. And yeah, Genesis chapter #2.

That the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and

breathe into his nostrils. The breath of life.

And then that man became a living being.

You're saying, well, I'm not Adam.

You know what you're. Right.

You're not Adam. You're not the first man.

But we find other places. In scripture like the Psalms,

Psalms 139 is a great example where the psalmist is

describing. The.

Formation right of a a a body, a human being within the womb of a

mother. And it talks about how how God

had formed our inward parts and that he covered.

Us in our mother's womb. And that we should praise.

Him for we are fearfully. And wonderfully made all.

Of this is within the context of a womb.

All been made by God, but in Genesis 3 through Adam, yes,

humanity then has been. Sold out to.

Sin and yes, God, as we've already looked at, has redeemed

us back. All right.

But here's the thing in the garden, when they sinned, and

they do, they did with sin what you do with sin.

When they hear the voice of God in the cool of the day before,

they're naked and unashamed. Now they're naked and ashamed.

The whole dynamic of the tree of knowledge, of good and evil

having transgressed, done what God didn't do, change the whole

outlook. They're now ashamed.

And whenever God, they sense that God's presence is around.

I'm hiding among the trees. The Lord says, Where art thou,

Adam? He knew, but he wanted Adam to

take inventory. You never hid from me before.

And so the Bible even talks about them sowing fig leaves

together, right? What are they doing?

They're trying to hide sin. Sin has that response.

In you that it causes. You want to hide.

From a holy God. When you, you feel.

As though there are some places where you contradicted His

Holiness. Want to hide, but God says,

Nope, the trees ain't going to do, the fig leaves ain't going

to do. He says, I'm going to have to

kill an animal and I'm going to have to shed some blood and I'm

going to make some coats of skins for you.

Ladies and gentlemen, that was marvelous because.

That set a. Precedent for Scripture.

That for, for. The the the if you.

Will the. Outcome.

The condition, the pitfall that sin leaves us in.

There's only a proper way for that.

To get covered and it requires shed blood.

It requires shed blood in order for that.

To happen. And so God allowed notice,

though God even allowed Adam after that sin.

He allowed him to live after he had sinned, Amen.

He gave Adam in essence a second chance, Amen.

But he did so though by blood being shed, Amen.

In a covering being provided, Amen.

And so here's Adam even in a sense, not only being gods by

being created by him, but also because God provided shed blood.

Amen for the dilemma. So the fact of the matter today

we've all, according to the Psalms, we've been created and

formed in our mother's womb. God owns us because He is our

Creator, but even more so than that, because he came down in

the form of a man and he went to the cross and he gave his life

and he shed the blood. That blood is a blood that can

redeem whosoever will, if they make them self available to the

blood. Amen.

Then he also owns us. By our redemption.

Here's the fact of the matter, though.

You have a choice to receive or reject early.

On through Cain, huh? Early on, through Cain and Abel,

here God's given Adam and. Eve a second chance.

He set them outside the garden. Yes, but they're still alive.

They're not dead. They have some children.

The Bible talks about how Cain brought brought a lamb or

brought something with blood. Seems to be very proper

sacrifice. Came though the Bible.

Says in the process, in the process of time.

Brought of the the fruit of the ground.

A bloodless sacrifice. The Bible says that God

accepted. Abel's sacrifice, but he.

Rejected. Cain's and then Cain Serves then

as an example. Through the rest.

Of his days, who by creation and even.

By the second chance. That was given to his family.

A man that belonged to God. But he refused to live in accord

with the reality of being his after his sacrifice.

Amen. Sin took captain of the Bible

says explicitly that Cain left the presence of the Lord stand

for me today. I'll wrap up man I God's been

We are the people of God. We are the property of God who

owned you. I hope you can clearly say he

I'm judgement day. What's happened with the life

I've given you? And can I see?

The reflection of My Holiness in you.

Grow up into the. Image of the stature of the Lord

Jesus Christ. New Testament Scripture says

whenever he sees me, I want him to be able to see himself in me.

and I'm going to live in a way. Hey man, that's deserving of

what took place on Calvary. Oh, help me Jesus today.

Let your salvation be worked out in my life.
