  1. The Lord, a great handclap of praise, Amen.

  2. The Spirit of the Lord does a drawing.

  3. Spirit of the Lord does a drawing, Amen.

  4. We honor the Lord. Amen.

  5. Tonight for them, Amen. What God is going to do in their

  6. lives. Hallelujah this evening.

  7. Got out here after prayer tonight and there was some

  8. Cologne on my front seat there with the name of Genesis Cologne

  9. called Genesis. Brother Reese thought that that

  10. would be appropriate and probably a Cologne that I need

  11. for those that attend here regularly.

  12. Before we went to connect groups.

  13. I've been in a series on Genesis, matter of fact, here

  14. and there, on and off. We've been probably about 50

  15. lessons in Genesis. So they thought it necessary, I

  16. guess that I have. I smelled it a little bit,

  17. smelled a little tower Babble in there and maybe a hand of Sodom,

  18. Gomorrah and even a few genealogies.

  19. I think that they're. But that's funny, isn't it?

  20. Amen. You can always depend on people.

  21. Brother Boyd years ago said you don't have to worry about being

  22. prideful, said because. People always keep you humble.

  23. People always keep you humble. Amen.

  24. I want to turn to the word of the Lord tonight.

  25. Still yet in the prophet of Isaiah here tonight, prophet

  26. Isaiah chapter #6 and a few verses of Scripture, Amen, this

  27. evening. And I'll tell you, and, and this

  28. is just the way it's been here of late.

  29. And I, I'm just tell you right from the go, I will be

  30. repetitive somewhat tonight. In preacher terminology, we call

  31. it theological circling. That is that you come to the

  32. same truth from several different angles.

  33. And kind of like whenever Jesus, a New Testament scripture, he

  34. said the Kingdom of heaven is like he tells a parable and a

  35. little later down the Kingdom of heaven is like he tells a

  36. parable and and he's coming from different angles to solidify a

  37. truth, Amen about the Kingdom of God.

  38. So I'm going to try to do that Amen here this evening through

  39. God's Word. Isaiah chapter #6 again, good to

  40. see you all, Tamara. So glad to have you.

  41. Amen there by Amber. I know she's happy to have you

  42. folks after church. You need to go see Amber's like

  43. notebook. I can't even describe like the

  44. outside of it, these little rubber like finger things,

  45. they're all over it it. It looks like a sensory tool to

  46. me, but. I said what?

  47. In the world. You got over there, she.

  48. Says that's my notebook I take. Notes.

  49. I said, well that's fine, that's fine.

  50. I'm just kind of drawn. To it for some reason.

  51. So hey man, you need to check that out.

  52. Check that out Isaiah 6 and verse one.

  53. The Bible says in the year that King Uzziah died, Isaiah says I

  54. saw also the Lord setting up on the throne high and lifted up,

  55. and his train filled the temple. Above it stood the Seraphim's

  56. which was a a classification or type of Angel.

  57. Each one had 6 wings. With Twain he covered his face,

  58. and with Twain, Twain means two, he covered his feet, and with

  59. Twain he did fly and. One cried.

  60. And two, another, and said Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts.

  61. The whole earth is full of his glory.

  62. So there's a lot of different, it's a lot of different things

  63. really that's contained within these first few verses.

  64. We have our earthly king that has died.

  65. We have we have Seraphim's and angels that are in the picture.

  66. There are some things being cried.

  67. Isaiah, no doubt is present. Amen.

  68. But there's something not to be missed in the three verses as

  69. well. That is the Lord.

  70. And so with the help of the Lord tonight, I'm going to minister

  71. this Beyond angels wings, beyond angels wings, Hallelujah.

  72. Let's ask the Lord to help us. Father, I thank you.

  73. I praise you, Lord, for another opportunity in time.

  74. I don't want to ever take for granted, Lord, the opportunity

  75. of coming, Lord, to your house and center in my life, Lord,

  76. around your word. I pray, O God, that you're able

  77. to help us tonight. I pray God that you're able to

  78. enter this building, Lord, in a way that we could, Lord, feel

  79. and acknowledge and recognize the Lord that you are here,

  80. Lord, to do, to perform, to touch, to reorient.

  81. I pray God, us in some fashion and way, God, we're so thankful

  82. for what you've done today. God, we pray Lord, that you

  83. would continue to do and accomplish something even here

  84. this evening in our lives as we give ourselves over to you in

  85. the lovely name of the Lord Jesus Christ that I pray

  86. Hallelujah, Hallelujah in the church say Amen, Amen.

  87. You may be seated tonight in Jesus name.

  88. You don't have to raise your hand this evening when I ask you

  89. the. Next couple of questions.

  90. Kind of rhetorical for yourself or to somehow provoke your mind

  91. and thinking in a direction, but has anyone here ever seen an

  92. Angel or had what you would call an undeniable angelic

  93. visitation? I don't know if maybe you have

  94. or have not or perhaps known someone who who has, but

  95. whenever I. Was a a.

  96. Teenager. I remember saying as a teenager,

  97. young of course, that I had seen an Angel.

  98. But. If I'm honest, tonight what that

  99. really was at least. For me, I'm just talking about

  100. myself. Tonight was a yielding to.

  101. The pressure of a lot of other. People that I was.

  102. Around that was my age who were saying that they had seen an

  103. Angel and being a young impressionable individual rather

  104. Fred, I didn't want to be left out from not having seen an

  105. Angel. I didn't want to seem as though

  106. I was subpar to all of the rest. Of my peers.

  107. And perhaps less spiritual, you know, compared to them, to

  108. those. Who had claimed that they had

  109. seen that and had that type of experience?

  110. For that matter, I I confess. To you that I wanted to see it.

  111. I wanted to be able to say brother.

  112. Trout that that. I had seen it, but I admit a

  113. standing before you. Today, not a teenager.

  114. But 47 years? Old and tell you plainly.

  115. And humbly that I did not see anything but.

  116. What I did experience there was something very real.

  117. I felt an overwhelming presence of the Lord Brother Mason in

  118. that camp. Boys dormitory where I was.

  119. I may not have seen an Angel, but I.

  120. Had an encounter with God nonetheless.

  121. And in retrospect, that matters more.

  122. I grew up during the air. I'm just going to take a little.

  123. Cautionary tale from my life. Tonight I grew up in during an

  124. era of time when I was exposed to ministries that described

  125. and, and I don't want to be misunderstood tonight, so I'll

  126. probably throw disclaimers in there along the way, but that I

  127. grew up during the time that that there was ministries that

  128. that describe their encounter with with angels in vivid

  129. detail. I I remember as a young man,

  130. ministers and preachers and I, I do not fault that.

  131. And I believe those episodes happen absolutely.

  132. But I remember as a young man hearing those things spoken.

  133. Of in vivid detail and. Even in services that I

  134. attended, Brother Fred, people would testify openly about

  135. angelic visitations, and they said that they saw them and

  136. there would be others in the room that would affirm that they

  137. likewise had seen. Them.

  138. In that service as well, I remember just being a young,

  139. impressionable young boy, remembering quietly and

  140. wondering quietly, Brother Reese, how how spiritual this

  141. is. Just the mind of a teenager,

  142. mind you, how spiritual a person must be to see an Angel or have

  143. an angelic presence that would come around them and make itself

  144. known to them, particularly in a service that I was just as much

  145. as part of as anybody else in that service.

  146. And so without anybody saying, saying it out loud as a young

  147. teenage boy, there was a unspoken hierarchy that begin to

  148. be developed in my own mind. And that was those who had seen

  149. something and those who had not seen something, those who had

  150. experienced it and those who had not experienced it.

  151. And so in in there was an atmosphere then as a result of

  152. that that was engendered in my generation with this

  153. preoccupation with with seeing or experiencing the angelic.

  154. I remember this quite notably, Amen.

  155. And so again, I want to be clear tonight, I believe those

  156. episodes happen and I believe they still happen, Amen.

  157. If it's in the Bible, it happens, all right?

  158. It still happens. And I believe the Scripture in

  159. the writer of Hebrews when he speaks to us and says that some

  160. have entertained angels unawares, sometimes just through

  161. simple acts of hospitality and kindness that we have shown to

  162. strangers or people that we do not know.

  163. And I also think tonight squarely based upon God's Word,

  164. that we have likely entertained angels unawares far more times

  165. even than what we realize. We may never recognize that we

  166. may not ever seen some beaming glow around someone, but we've

  167. experienced it. And so somewhere along the way,

  168. however we begin though I I remember in that era that

  169. they're they're in maybe even it still occurs today that there's

  170. association with an angelic visitation as only happening for

  171. the Super spiritual type people. Those those that have a certain

  172. badge of spirituality being able to experience that or maybe just

  173. a certain classification of Christianity that can experience

  174. that Amen that that angels were just badges of spiritual

  175. achievement on people's lapels when reality according to God's

  176. word, they are servants that are on divine assignments all

  177. throughout God's word. The Bible seems to indicate to

  178. you and I that that the entourage of the Lord's very

  179. presence is often times angelic in form.

  180. It's angelic in practice. In other words, angels do not

  181. announce a individual's spiritual rival because they've

  182. seen that or witnessed that. If you've seen that Angel, then

  183. you you've arrived spiritually or you got some type of leg of a

  184. superiority in the spirit on top of someone.

  185. No angels. What they really do for us, if

  186. they are present is that they announced that we are in close

  187. proximity to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords and the

  188. great divine. And so we've aired sometimes by

  189. vying for the attention of angels, when really what we

  190. should be looking toward and focusing on is a deeper hunger

  191. and desire for the presence of God.

  192. Someone say Amen. I guess my, my, my conveyance is

  193. this tonight. Angels are not our destination.

  194. Angels are just the accompaniment of the king.

  195. They are the ambassadors, they are the escorts, they are the

  196. cohorts, if you will, of God Himself.

  197. Scripture tells us it describes angels as being ministering

  198. spirits. It describes them as being

  199. messengers of the King of glory. They deliver announcements.

  200. They many times were found bringing about announcements

  201. concerning miraculous births, births that could not happen had

  202. it not been for the intervention of God.

  203. Some angels have brought warnings of impending doom to

  204. nations and people. In the book of Job, like we

  205. spoke this morning, angels are called the sons of God.

  206. Amen. That Satan even once walked

  207. among in the presence of God. They are called in Scripture

  208. holy ones or watchers, or a heavenly host or the host of

  209. heaven. When you read in Scripture,

  210. sometimes angels appear in human form with human characteristics.

  211. Sometimes they speak like men, eat like them, fight like them,

  212. possess wisdom at times that rivals human understanding.

  213. And yet there's also times that they can be invisible, swift,

  214. capable of flight which is beyond our human ability and

  215. understanding. Angels in scripture were called

  216. alongside to assist. They were called alongside to

  217. guide and above all else they were called even and as we are

  218. to worship. John tells us in the Book of

  219. Revelation when he had a vision of the throne of God, he said as

  220. I stood there, he said I beheld and I also heard a voice of many

  221. angels around about the throne. He said they numbered 1000 * 10

  222. thousands and thousands of thousands, and they were all

  223. declaring with one voice Worthy is the the Lamb, Amen.

  224. If I'm telling you right, tonight the angels are not

  225. present, and they do not come nigh and do they do not come

  226. near for the purpose of drawing attention to themselves, but for

  227. the purpose of. Giving attention.

  228. Of giving attention unto God. They are called to worship, not

  229. to be worshipped. Church through the ages, even

  230. the Apostolic Church through the ages has occasionally flirted

  231. with the air. And it's not because of

  232. rebellion or anything like that, but there's sometimes been a

  233. misplaced fascination with the angelic.

  234. But we need to have a longing for God that exceeds A longing

  235. for the angelic Hey man. John himself, even in the Book

  236. of Revelation momentarily fell into a moment of being

  237. overwhelmed by what he was experiencing in the vision that

  238. the Bible says the Angel that would been accompanying him.

  239. Hey man, whenever John is seeing everything that he sees and

  240. beholding everything that he beholds, the Bible says that

  241. John the revelator fell down at the feet of the Angel and begin

  242. to worship him. And the Angel seeing this

  243. immediately spoke to John and he said, see thou do it not.

  244. Don't you be kneeling here, Don't be worshipping here.

  245. Don't be giving me any type of exaltation here, he says.

  246. Because in essence, I'm a worshipper.

  247. It's like you're a worshipper. In essence, I'm not the point,

  248. it's the one. Who's sitting on the throne?

  249. That's the point, folks. We can be fascinated by all

  250. sorts and types of things, but blessed are they which do hunger

  251. and thirst after. Him I don't need an Angel, but

  252. I. Do need God?

  253. Hey, man, Paul echoes this warning.

  254. He. Cautions the Church at.

  255. Colossians, he says, well, to them that would be beguiled by

  256. worshipping of angels. God, he never rebukes a Angel

  257. for accompanying him, but he does OFT times correct us, Amen.

  258. Whenever we stop there, Amen. And we neglect the divine that's

  259. behind the angelic, please understand.

  260. And I got to tell you this because I don't want to be

  261. misunderstood tonight. I believe in the existence of

  262. angels. I'm not diminishing the purpose

  263. of angels. I just simply want to tell you

  264. tonight, yes, there should be honor and there should be

  265. respect and there should be acknowledgement.

  266. Haman And all of that is true. Haman The problem isn't angels.

  267. The problem is I don't want to stop short at the angelic and

  268. not press on through to the divine, because it's from him

  269. and by him and through him that all these things come about.

  270. It is for him. And to.

  271. Him that all of these things are 4.

  272. Thank God. I hope someone does see an

  273. Angel, but you must. Understand they are an

  274. ambassador of a higher power. They are a messenger of a divine

  275. God who just is very spittle became universes shut them

  276. beyond angels. Wings.

  277. That's what we see in Scripture, Brother Fred.

  278. You see it a lot in the Old Testament angelic visitations

  279. through the Old Testament Genesis, Abram and Sarah visited

  280. by what they believe 3 angels. They did recognize something,

  281. but it was only confirmed later that one of them was the Angel

  282. of the Lord. And usually when that

  283. terminology is used in Scripture, we're talking about

  284. some manifestation of God Himself, almost like a theophany

  285. is the, the, the, the, you know, proper terminology.

  286. Amen. Showing himself manifested

  287. himself. And it was later that they

  288. realized what we had here then in reality was God accompanied

  289. by two angels. When angels showed up in the

  290. word of God, it wasn't because people were chasing angels.

  291. It's because people were pursuing God.

  292. Draw near unto God. The Bible even draws some

  293. distinct line concerning classifications of angels we we

  294. read of in Scripture. You probably got some in your

  295. home, you know, cherubs or cherubim, hey man, or seraphim

  296. and seraphim, that's spoken up throughout the Scripture.

  297. These were so important that God even included them.

  298. Amen. As a sign unto us in His design

  299. for the Tabernacle and even the temple.

  300. The Bible tells us in Second Chronicles, he told them

  301. whenever you make the veil for the temple, make sure that you

  302. weave it with cherubim upon that veil.

  303. Amen. That's right.

  304. Before going into the ark of God and the holies of holies, I want

  305. you to stitch some angels right there to the very entrance of

  306. God's presence. He says I want symbolically,

  307. Amen, throughout my temple, my Tabernacle, whether it's in the

  308. curtains, whether it's in the veil, whether it's in carvings

  309. on the wall, whether it's in the tin carvings, Amen.

  310. That's upon the 10 lavers in the temple.

  311. I want you to put angels there, and I want you to put seraphim

  312. there and cherubim there. What are you doing, God?

  313. He says I'm just reinforcing, Amen, that wherever my presence

  314. is, you're just going to find the Angelica, you're going to

  315. find angels, Amen. That if you see a Angel, it's

  316. not there on its own or by its own reasoning or for its own

  317. purpose. That I'm there.

  318. That I'm. Present that Oh yes, cherubim

  319. attended the ark of the covenant David, the Bible says in the

  320. book of second Samuel, the ark of God had been gone for quite

  321. some time. He goes to retrieve the ark of

  322. God and the Bible says the ark of God, second Samuel 6 two the

  323. ark of God, whose name is called by the name of the Lord of hosts

  324. that developed between the cherubims, the Lord of hosts.

  325. It's one of those fancy words. You ever heard the Scripture and

  326. people pray them. You know, like Jehovah Jireh,

  327. Jehovah Shamar, Jehovah tis canoe.

  328. Well, Jehovah Sabeoth was the Lord of hosts.

  329. That appears. That Lord of hosts appears

  330. hundreds of times in your Bible and it declares him as the Lord

  331. of the heavenly armies, or if you will, the Lord of hosts,

  332. meaning the Lord of the angels, the Lord of the angels.

  333. As a matter of fact, whenever David went to fight against

  334. Goliath in that valley of Elah, Amen.

  335. Here he is just a shepherd boy. Here he is with just his stone

  336. and his sling and his shepherd's bag and his staff.

  337. He cries out to that grand enemy of Israel, Goliath.

  338. And he tells him, I don't come to you with a shield or with a

  339. sword of all the modern botanics, if you will, of

  340. warfare. He says, but I come to you,

  341. Amen, in the name of the Lord of hosts.

  342. This was never a battle against a a shepherd and a giant.

  343. It was a battle against a giant. And the Lord of hosts, the Lord

  344. in his army of angels. What does that mean tonight?

  345. That means wherever the Lord is. Amen.

  346. Folks, we are never outnumbered. We're never outnumbered.

  347. The Bible says that Elijah was standing in a precarious place

  348. one time with his servants, surrounded by enemies.

  349. And the servant says, Elijah, we're, we're, we're at odds

  350. here. We're, we're in a bad position

  351. because we're surrounded by adversaries.

  352. And there was something that Elijah had picked up on Amen,

  353. that the servant had picked up on.

  354. Elijah knew that he was walking right in the divine pathway of

  355. the presence of God. And he says, I know if God's.

  356. Presence is here. He's the Lord of hosts.

  357. He's the Lord of angels. He lays his hands on that.

  358. Servant, and he says God. Open his eyes so that that he

  359. can see and the. Servant looked around and

  360. there's. Horses and Chariots, angelic

  361. fire, all of that was nothing more but a testimony that God

  362. was there. God was there.

  363. Amen. That's, I mean, angels are just

  364. the Lord's personnel. They're always in Scripture you

  365. read, they're always connected with God, and almost every

  366. transition into God's presence seems to be in Scripture, many

  367. times accompanied by the angelic.

  368. Isaiah 37 tells us that he saw the Lord enthroned between the

  369. cherubim. The prophet Ezekiel harmonize us

  370. with the account of Isaiah and says there in the 1st chapter of

  371. Ezekiel, it's a fantastic descriptive reading.

  372. He says that he saw these cherubim or these angels

  373. supporting the very throne of God, and that they moved

  374. wherever the Spirit moved. They're not moving of their own

  375. volition or at their own command.

  376. But wherever the Spirit moved, that's where we go.

  377. That's where we follow Isaiah and our text said the seraphim

  378. are crying. Holy, holy, holy.

  379. They're not talking about each other.

  380. They're talking about the one that's seated on the throne.

  381. They're not talking about their brother Angel.

  382. No, no, no. They're talking about the one

  383. seated on the throne. Angels have appeared through

  384. moments of time in Scripture. They've been there at births,

  385. they've been there at deaths. They've been there at

  386. deliverances. They've been there at callings.

  387. But anytime they showed up, they were not the spectacle.

  388. They were just a confirmation. That God is at.

  389. Work. God is here.

  390. God is in this place. God is about boy.

  391. So they're not a end in themselves.

  392. God's the central glory. Angels are just on the

  393. peripheral. And I know sometimes we can be

  394. dazzled by the outskirts, but it's the central glory.

  395. It's that which is God's glory. That is the transformative

  396. glory. An Angel can't save you for that

  397. matter, I believe we said it here in the past few weeks.

  398. What you got the Spirit of God even angels desire to look into

  399. because here they are attendance of His glory, but they can't be

  400. in the field with the Spirit like you and I are filled.

  401. With the Spirit. And so they're interested in

  402. that aspect of our lives. They're always connected with

  403. God. Amen.

  404. The Bible tells us Makaya, he's a prophet.

  405. You can read of him in First Kings 22.

  406. This is what Makaya the prophet said concerning the Lord.

  407. And it's very similar to what Isaiah saw in Isaiah chapter #6

  408. Makai. The prophet basically said this.

  409. He said, hear thou therefore the word of the Lord.

  410. He says I saw the Lord sitting on his throne and all the host

  411. of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on its left.

  412. What Makaya is describing here, the throne is central, the

  413. throne is the attention, the throne is the focus, and there

  414. is an audience standing of the heavenly host on the left hand

  415. and on the right sides. God in this picture is

  416. surrounded by the angelic on each side.

  417. But again, to witness the angels is to witness then your nearness

  418. to God because they are accompanying Him.

  419. They are there because of Him. What are you saying?

  420. I'm saying whenever Isaiah says in the year that King Uzziah

  421. died, I saw the Lord high and lifted up.

  422. If we would take a moment, there's a lot of things that

  423. Isaiah could have been swept away by in what he was

  424. experiencing and seeing and noticing in that moment.

  425. He could have been overtaken by the fact that our earthly king

  426. had expired and had deceased and there was going to be a new

  427. kingship. That was necessary.

  428. He could have been taken back by the fact that there are

  429. seraphims that are above here with six wings, 2 covering their

  430. face, 2 they're fine with and two covering their feet.

  431. He could have you been intoxicated by the melody of

  432. their cries of holy, holy, holy, but the end result of everything

  433. that he experienced and seen earthly king dying.

  434. The angelic in the atmosphere, he says.

  435. Let me tell you what I saw though.

  436. I saw the. Lord in and of it all.

  437. He said. My focus, my attention.

  438. What? Grabbed me more than anything is

  439. that the Lord was still on his throne and he was high and he

  440. was lifted up and his train. Oh Jesus, someone say glory.

  441. It's the first thing he noticed. King's dead, yes, he says.

  442. But I saw, I saw the Lord. It also interests me.

  443. Brother Fred, with the cry of the Seraphim's did not concern

  444. was not about. Isaiah.

  445. Did not concern was not about one another, but they're holy,

  446. holy holy that they spoke with in that scripture is followed

  447. with is the Lord of hosts and the whole earth is filled with

  448. his glory. It wasn't a recognition of each

  449. other and it wasn't a recognition of the mortal man

  450. that was among them and it wasn't a recognition of the

  451. mortal man that had passed away. Even the angels in this scenario

  452. was captured by who they had audience with in that moment and

  453. it was the Lord of hosts, the Lord of hosts.

  454. Do you understand? And then in these few verses,

  455. the emphasis is all about God. The emphasis is all about the

  456. Lord. Folks, I hope we see some grand

  457. things. I hope we experience signs and

  458. miracles and. Wonders, but I never.

  459. Want to get to the? Place where I am fascinated by

  460. the sign and the miracle and the wonder, and I lose sight of the

  461. one that's high and lifted up and sets on his throne and

  462. causes and procures all these other things that we

  463. experienced. And again, this this might be

  464. therapeutic session for me tonight, OK dealing with

  465. something from my childhood. But God doesn't make mistakes

  466. either. And I know what we speak from

  467. this pulpit on a Sunday night goes in the airwaves and they

  468. are forever listed in a podcast because I've had people contact

  469. me later over. I'm asking myself sometimes, had

  470. I ever missed the Lord while I was seeking and looking for an

  471. Angel? They're present, but simply

  472. because He's present. Psalmist described as such that

  473. the Lord rode up on a cherub. Cherub took flight and the Lord

  474. says I'm going to use you as a vehicle today.

  475. They're just attendants and worshippers and witnesses.

  476. They testified to our encounters with God, but they never

  477. determine them. Oh really?

  478. Bert McGee yes. Let's think for a moment.

  479. Just walk with me here for a moment.

  480. I'll be mindful of your time, but just think for a moment.

  481. There was a baby born in Bethlehem's Manger.

  482. The Bible says they called him Jesus.

  483. Yes, they also known as Emmanuel, God with us.

  484. Do you know who appears at the birth to shepherds in a field

  485. over Yonder? The angelic singing Glory to God

  486. in the highest peace on earth. Goodwill toward men.

  487. If. They shepherds watching their

  488. flock by night, had only been. Caught up in the angelic Whoa,

  489. they would have missed that holy child.

  490. Those angels weren't the point. The Manger.

  491. But they had to accompany him because he had come down.

  492. When he is resurrected. From the dead and there's some

  493. that arrive to now the vacant tomb.

  494. What do they encounter? Angel there.

  495. Angel and other of the harmonies inside where he used to lay.

  496. One person thought there was a gardener.

  497. They're there because he had been there.

  498. Whenever he ascends into heaven in Acts chapter #1 and disciples

  499. are there, and they see his feet.

  500. Leave that mount. Call all of it.

  501. It's not very soon as they're watching.

  502. Him go that angels. Appear and say, Why do you stand

  503. here? Gazing the same Jesus that came.

  504. Amen. That's going away.

  505. We'll. Come back to you.

  506. Why are they there? Because they got to accompany

  507. the divine and his presence. They're not the point.

  508. He's. Everybody doing all right?

  509. Furthermore, go back to the. Garden of Gethsemane and Peter's

  510. drawn his sword to cut off ears because of feeling threatened by

  511. those who have come to the garden with stage and swords, he

  512. tells Peter. Put up your sword and watch it

  513. now. It's as though Jesus is

  514. revealing to him. They would have been here, but

  515. I. Had to prevent them.

  516. Do you not know Peter? I could call 12.

  517. Legion of of Angels, you know, he said.

  518. I have let this slide. For this time because they got

  519. to apprehend men, so I just told them to stay over there in the

  520. distance, but. Normally they would be wherever

  521. I'm at. You know what the Bible also

  522. tells us then in the Bible, in the book of Thessalonians,

  523. Second Thessalonians 17, the Paul, he opens his mouth and he

  524. puts a pin to page and he says, I tell you this, that the day

  525. that the Son of Man returns, the day that Jesus comes back, he

  526. says he will be accompanied by his mighty angels, because where

  527. he goes, they. Go.

  528. They're not the point. He's the point.

  529. Their visitation ain't the point.

  530. It's understanding you're having a visitation of God in this

  531. moment. They show up when God is doing

  532. something. Not us trying to see them, we

  533. need to be trying to see him. Interestingly enough to me, I'm

  534. getting there folks. Quite frankly, in my human

  535. flesh, I'm tired. We don't have many names in

  536. scripture of angels if you and far between, but the ones that

  537. we know do know of for instance. Michael, you.

  538. Want to talk about how much there's this accompanying of God

  539. in them, Michael? Or if I could, Mike L, who means

  540. who is like God. It's that El which is translated

  541. as God. If he didn't have that, he would

  542. just be who is like it's God that gives the meaning to his

  543. name. When you read about Gabriel,

  544. that ministering Angel that announced the birth to, the

  545. birth to to Elizabeth and Zachariah of John the Baptist,

  546. and even the birth of Christ, it's Gabriel or Gabriel L, whose

  547. name means strength. Of God without the L you just

  548. got. Strength.

  549. It's the God. That gives the real meaning to

  550. the Angel. I'm going to step further.

  551. Who once was an Angel? Someone say glory.

  552. I'm trying to set us up here because angels are never the

  553. source. They are the SIM ones.

  554. The Bible says Lucifer. Well brother McGee, there's no

  555. ail in there, just point it out. But Lucifer means light bearer

  556. or Morning Star. You know what the Morning Star

  557. is? It's that brightest planet

  558. called Venus right before the breaking of the dawn.

  559. Venus has no light of its own. It's borrowing light to shine

  560. light, and it's always the brightest right before the sun

  561. comes up. Honey, he.

  562. Would not even to be a light bearer if there wasn't a light

  563. to be born. But the great God of glory who

  564. stepped into chaos and darkness said let there be light.

  565. He's the light of the world. He's the only one that gives

  566. purpose and meaning to the supernatural and the angelic,

  567. because they accompany and must our God.

  568. I'm talking about beyond angels. No, God, you can stand with me

  569. before they get a Gurney to Take Me Out of here.

  570. What I'm saying is this. The angelic has never been the

  571. purpose. The angelic has always been the

  572. evidence of the real purpose. They attend to His glory.

  573. They don't replace His glory. They stand where God stands,

  574. they move where God moves, and they worship him with what he

  575. deserves. So when angels appear, that's

  576. not so much so heaven being showcased as much as it is, you

  577. know what's going on. God is drawing near to us.

  578. So ladies and gentlemen, thank you for the session tonight.

  579. You've really helped me out. All those years ago, this is

  580. what I know. Sister Jen Cruise all those

  581. years ago as a teenage young boy.

  582. Brother Mason all those years ago, I didn't need to see angels

  583. to experience God. As I stood there not seeing

  584. anything, I was feeling God. And perhaps, Brother Reese,

  585. perhaps rather than staring and squinting my eyes to see if what

  586. others undoubtfully saw, perhaps I should have just closed my

  587. eyes and reflected and savoured that God is here and that's why

  588. they are here. You never have one commandment

  589. or mandate in scripture that says seek after angels, but we

  590. are repeatedly towed. Seek after the Lord, feel after

  591. the Lord. If haply you might find him, for

  592. he's not far. He's not far from every.

  593. What are you been saying tonight, brother?

  594. Me, I can say this with confidence.

  595. I felt him this. Morning.

  596. I feel him right. Now I tell you, with the

  597. assurity of scripture and boldness, we are in the company

  598. of angels right now. Because he's here.

  599. And I don't want anybody to go. I don't want to be my sisters

  600. to. I'm not discouraging you.

  601. God would ever reveal the image of an Angel or the apparition of

  602. an Angel to you. I'm not discouraging you.

  603. The danger is not in US believing in angels, but the

  604. threat is just stopping with them.

  605. What I encourage you to do is do, do as Isaiah did, come into

  606. that scenario and be looking for the Lord.

  607. Come in that scenario of the melody of angels crying holy,

  608. holy, and say that's sweet, but I know he's here somewhere.

  609. That's sweet, but I'm looking for the Lord.

  610. I'm looking for Him to be high and I'm looking for Him to be

  611. lifted up. Because ladies and gentlemen,

  612. beyond angels wings lies the presence of God.

  613. Anything less than him is not the destiny, not the purpose.

  614. He alone will always be, and His glory will always be the sole

  615. purpose. And I feel Him, you know?

  616. You know the old chorus we used to sing Rebecca and Tag.

  617. You guys know him. Surely the presence of the Lord

  618. is in this place. I feel his mighty power and his

  619. grace. I feel the rush of angels.

  620. That's lyrically, biblically true, because they must

  621. accompany they. Must accompany his presence.

  622. I would ask this tonight to enter a time right here at the

  623. closure of the service. I want you to close your eyes.

  624. I want you to minimize any distraction around you right

  625. now, and I want you to hone in and I want you to become

  626. fastened and fastened by the presence of the Lord.

  627. He's here. You don't have to take my word

  628. for it. Seek after Him right now.

  629. Search after Him right now tonight would be a good night

  630. for somebody just to linger oh in the presence of angels yes

  631. that's just a byproduct, but ultimately you're standing in

  632. proximity and closeness to the creator of the universe hell of

  633. a Messiah the. Judge of Old Judge.

  634. That will answer to one day. We're in it's presence.

  635. Come on Sir, ma'am, I want to experience the miracle, but I

  636. need the God of the miracle. I want to wonder, but he's the

  637. God of wonder who come up behind.

  638. I want the inexplicable, but he's the God of the inexplicable

  639. just beyond angels wings. Come on, Sir, ma'am, if you

  640. will, will you raise your hands right now just as a sign of

  641. surrender and obedience to the Spirit of the Lord that's in

  642. this building? Will you just raise your hands

  643. right now? Will you create that funnel

  644. right now? Hallelujah, all across this

  645. building. You can begin to pray.

  646. You can begin to speak in tongues.

  647. You can begin to give adoration and glory.

  648. I guarantee you angels are here worshiping.

  649. I want to join in that company of a innumerable number that cry

  650. holy, holy, holy, it's the Lord. But Brother McGee, Isaiah stood

  651. in that atmosphere and he said, Behold, I am a man of unclean

  652. lips and I do all among the unclean people.

  653. And the Bible says the seraphim, the Angel, went to the altar and

  654. picked up a life coat and took it and touched his to his lips

  655. and his lips became clean. They're ministering spirits.

  656. The coat from which that would probably come from was either

  657. the altar burnt offering or the altar of incense, both in the

  658. very beginning, the Tabernacle in the woods, you know, where

  659. the fire came from, initially came from God.

  660. He ignited the fire so there would have never been a hot

  661. Cove. For Isaiah's lips, though borne

  662. by an Angel, better not have been a God that initiated.

  663. The fire. He's always the purpose.

  664. Let's worship Him one more. They're going to sing a song.

  665. These altars are open. I'm telling you, folks, I feel

  666. unmistakable presence of God here right now.

  667. Unmistakable presence of God. I wish we would respond to his

  668. presence. Respond to his presence.

  669. Say, Brother McGee, I don't feel anything right now.

  670. That's OK. You can raise your hands and be

  671. respectful in honoring him. Amen.

  672. Because before we leave this place, there might be a fresh

  673. touch that comes along your Pew and upon your life.

  674. Sometimes we entertain angels unawares, and if they're there,

  675. he's there.
