-
Brother Jim: Welcome to this podcast, the
-
Brother Jim: show where we have strong
-
Brother Jim: opinions.
-
Brother Jim: Zero qualifications and just
-
Brother Jim: enough confidence to keep
-
Brother Jim: talking away.
-
Brother Jim: And if you are here to learn something.
-
Brother Jim: Lower your expectations.
-
Brother Jim: If you are here to laugh, overthink and question why we're
-
Brother Jim: allowed to have microphones.
-
Brother Jim: Perfect.
-
Brother Jim: You are in the right place right here with us.
-
Brother Jim: So grab your coffee, ignore your responsibilities for a bit, and
-
Brother Jim: let's get into it, shall we?
-
Brother Jim: First off, David.
-
Brother Jim: Knock, knock.
-
Brother Jim: Who's there?
-
David: Can't get the mic turned on.
-
Brother Jim: Wooden shoe.
-
David: Wooden shoe.
-
David: Who?
-
Brother Jim: Wouldn't you like to know?
-
Brother Jim: And to hear more jokes.
-
Brother Jim: That was bad.
-
Brother Jim: That was bad.
-
Brother Jim: Did you hear the one about the roof?
-
Brother Jim: No. Never mind.
-
Brother Jim: It's over your head.
-
Brother Jim: Yes, it's double joke Thursday and they are bad.
-
Brother Jim: So hopefully you've got a little bit more humor.
-
Brother Jim: And again, see, that's why we need you guys to comment and
-
Brother Jim: give us some jokes.
-
Brother Jim: Yes we need your help.
-
Brother Jim: But what a blessing right.
-
Brother Jim: Ida Lee and Mr. Dan are two favorite pets we got.
-
Brother Jim: Now we're moving up.
-
Brother Jim: Uh, you know, pretty soon we're
-
Brother Jim: gonna have to build a fence
-
Brother Jim: here.
-
Brother Jim: David, with a little barn.
-
Brother Jim: Let us know what you'd like to
-
Brother Jim: see, too, because like I said
-
Brother Jim: last show.
-
Brother Jim: I'd like to get some more exotic animals, but, uh, you know, uh,
-
Brother Jim: let us know.
-
Brother Jim: Maybe we can make that happen.
-
Brother Jim: Boy, an elephant would be cool.
-
Brother Jim: A rhinoceros.
-
Brother Jim: Giraffe, giraffe.
-
Brother Jim: Yeah, yeah, boy, the food bill is going to kill us, though.
-
David: No kidding.
-
David: They're gonna eat our whole budget.
-
Brother Jim: Exactly what budget?
-
Brother Jim: Alrighty.
-
Brother Jim: But you know what?
-
Brother Jim: In saying all that.
-
Brother Jim: Good morning to you, our friends.
-
Brother Jim: Good morning world.
-
Brother Jim: Let us thank God for another beautiful day, another breath.
-
Brother Jim: O another chance to breathe the
-
Brother Jim: air and another opportunity to
-
Brother Jim: grow.
-
Brother Jim: Here on Bible bibs and a prayer.
-
Brother Jim: We start our day with gratitude,
-
Brother Jim: good conversation and positive
-
Brother Jim: energy and not so good jokes,
-
Brother Jim: obviously.
-
Brother Jim: Let's turn this from a conversation into an experience.
-
Brother Jim: And now joining me always is the human embodiment of sarcasm.
-
Brother Jim: My co-host, the man has a PhD in
-
Brother Jim: eye rolling, a black belt and
-
Brother Jim: witty comebacks and absolutely
-
Brother Jim: no intention of taking anything
-
Brother Jim: seriously today.
-
Brother Jim: If there is a sincere moment,
-
Brother Jim: don't worry, he and I will ruin
-
Brother Jim: it.
-
Brother Jim: And if there's a bad joke, he will double down on it somehow.
-
Brother Jim: Despite all that, he is still
-
Brother Jim: here and legally allowed to have
-
Brother Jim: a microphone.
-
Brother Jim: Say hello to a man among men.
-
Brother Jim: a face that only a mother could love.
-
Brother Jim: Please welcome the one and only Mr. David Keener.
-
Brother Jim: Plus, he's one of my best friends in the whole wide world.
-
Brother Jim: Good morning, my friend.
-
David: Good morning.
-
David: And I'm only legally allowed to
-
David: have a microphone because the
-
David: FCC no longer requires a
-
David: broadcast license.
-
David: Who used to have a have to have a license to be on the radio
-
David: back in the day.
-
David: Did you know that?
-
Brother Jim: No, I didn't know that.
-
David: Yeah. If you wanted to sit behind the microphone, you had
-
David: to have a broadcaster's license.
-
Brother Jim: Wow, boy.
-
Brother Jim: Good thing it's not then.
-
Brother Jim: Not now.
-
Brother Jim: We'd be in trouble.
-
David: No kidding.
-
Brother Jim: Boy, they watched just an episode of us.
-
Brother Jim: These guys.
-
Brother Jim: No, no, no, no, put the pig in the chicken on.
-
Brother Jim: How was life in general?
-
David: It's good.
-
David: And, you know, I was having trouble getting my wife's
-
David: attention the other day, so I sat down and looked comfortable.
-
David: I did it.
-
Brother Jim: Oh, that was so much better than mine.
-
Brother Jim: Yes.
-
Brother Jim: Did you hear that, men?
-
Brother Jim: If you want to get your wife's
-
Brother Jim: attention, sit down and look
-
Brother Jim: comfortable.
-
Brother Jim: And bingo!
-
Brother Jim: Bango.
-
Brother Jim: They'll be looking for you.
-
Brother Jim: That applies to the kids, too.
-
David: Yeah, yeah.
-
David: For sure.
-
David: No doubt.
-
David: And for some reason, this happens in your house.
-
David: Uh, my wife and I will both be sitting there.
-
David: Same room, side by side.
-
David: She's doing four or five different things.
-
David: I'm doing nothing.
-
David: I'm sitting there just dummy, staring at the screen.
-
David: And inevitably they'll ask her, mom, can I get a snack?
-
David: Mom, can you just like I'm doing nothing right?
-
David: Why are you bugging mom?
-
Brother Jim: Right?
-
David: Oh, she loves it.
-
David: She loves.
-
Brother Jim: It. Yeah.
-
David: Not really.
-
Brother Jim: I got so much I could say on
-
Brother Jim: that, but we don't have that
-
Brother Jim: much time.
-
Brother Jim: Yes.
-
Brother Jim: Uh, thank God for wives and mamas.
-
Brother Jim: Yes.
-
Brother Jim: Uh, well, we are almost there to
-
Brother Jim: the weekend, uh, Easter around
-
Brother Jim: the corner.
-
Brother Jim: I know we've talked about the dinners, but, hey, we don't.
-
Brother Jim: We want to invite you all.
-
Brother Jim: Uh, number one, first off, Friday, good Friday, uh, down at
-
Brother Jim: Foursquare, uh, in Yorkville, right there on two fifty, there
-
Brother Jim: is a Good Friday service going on at Rockford Church will be
-
Brother Jim: attending as part of the Twin city ministerial association.
-
Brother Jim: We've been doing it for the
-
Brother Jim: whole lent season, so come on
-
Brother Jim: out.
-
Brother Jim: Seven p m I believe Pastor Michael from the Organic Church
-
Brother Jim: will be given the message.
-
Brother Jim: These services are always great, always great.
-
Brother Jim: And then Saturday, as I mentioned, we got our Easter egg
-
Brother Jim: hunt, a time of fellowship.
-
Brother Jim: Uh, nice little activities planned for the kid, the whole
-
Brother Jim: kids, the whole family.
-
Brother Jim: So come on out.
-
Brother Jim: That starts at two p m and of
-
Brother Jim: course, Sunday morning,
-
Brother Jim: resurrection Sunday.
-
Brother Jim: Uh, man seven o'clock we have our sunrise service.
-
Brother Jim: And then after that, we'll be heading over to our family life
-
Brother Jim: center right down the road for our sunrise breakfast.
-
Brother Jim: And then if you like, come join us nine thirty a m for our
-
Brother Jim: Easter Sunday service that starts at nine thirty.
-
Brother Jim: So if you don't have a place to go, you are more than welcome.
-
Brother Jim: We extend the invitation right now to you.
-
Brother Jim: Uh, anything else for the weekend, David?
-
David: Oh, no. Nothing for the weekend that I know of.
-
David: I mean, it's a.
-
Brother Jim: I haven't yet to see.
-
David: I haven't either, I think it's supposed to be semi-decent, but
-
David: I haven't really looked.
-
Brother Jim: So yeah, it's.
-
Brother Jim: And you know, us out in the country, we don't have those,
-
Brother Jim: uh, perfect manicured lawns and I've got a zero turn and I
-
Brother Jim: bought it with, uh, uh, aggressive tread on the back.
-
Brother Jim: I go up some decent hills.
-
Brother Jim: Yeah, but the bad thing is, like, in the front yard, when
-
Brother Jim: you go to pivot.
-
David: There's tearing.
-
Brother Jim: It up.
-
Brother Jim: It just tears it up.
-
Brother Jim: And no matter how and especially right now, the grass or the
-
Brother Jim: ground is so muddy.
-
Brother Jim: Yeah, it just tears it up.
-
David: So I will tell the ladies and gentlemen that if they are
-
David: looking for something to do in their downtime this weekend,
-
David: Bible bibs and a prayer now has its own YouTube channel.
-
David: Oh, you can go to youtube.com, Bible bibs and a prayer.
-
David: And it's just our videos.
-
David: There's one hundred and twenty nine of them up there now.
-
Brother Jim: Are you serious?
-
Brother Jim: Yeah, one hundred and twenty nine videos.
-
Brother Jim: Yep.
-
David: Broken out by season.
-
David: So you can just binge to your heart's content.
-
Brother Jim: So there you.
-
David: Go. No, No plan to separate anything officially.
-
David: But if you want to find, you
-
David: know, if you don't want to weed
-
David: through all the church stuff,
-
David: we've got a page just for Bible
-
David: bibs.
-
Brother Jim: And he is the man that is the
-
Brother Jim: reason why he is the man, you
-
Brother Jim: know?
-
Brother Jim: Uh, and I was so proud of myself.
-
Brother Jim: Uh, the other week we hosted, uh, the lent service here at
-
Brother Jim: Rockford Church, and, uh, David was unfortunately not able to
-
Brother Jim: make it out.
-
Brother Jim: I said, I got this, and he actually texted me how to get
-
Brother Jim: everything set up as far as mikes go because we had a
-
Brother Jim: special guest speaker.
-
Brother Jim: And lo and behold, I didn't even have to look at my notes.
-
Brother Jim: So he said he was actually going to get me a certificate with a
-
Brother Jim: big ol gold star.
-
Brother Jim: Yeah.
-
David: You're now certified.
-
Brother Jim: Yeah, I am certified.
-
Brother Jim: I don't know what for, but I know my wife would jump in
-
Brother Jim: certified, you know, mentally not stable, but, uh, how many
-
Brother Jim: guys can say amen to that one?
-
Brother Jim: Yes, their wives would agree.
-
Brother Jim: Or their children.
-
Brother Jim: Uh. Let's see.
-
Brother Jim: Oh, I did get to finally use a, uh.
-
Brother Jim: A flat stone.
-
Brother Jim: Black.
-
David: Oh. Blackstone.
-
David: Yeah.
-
Brother Jim: Yeah. Blackstone.
-
David: Yeah.
-
Brother Jim: And we were cooking sausage over here.
-
Brother Jim: The life center the other day for the breakfast for T four C
-
Brother Jim: and at the end.
-
Brother Jim: You know he's cleaning it all up.
-
Brother Jim: You know that little tray where all your stuff.
-
Brother Jim: Well I put too much water on it.
-
Brother Jim: So I was getting it in the tray.
-
Brother Jim: Well I go to pull the tray out.
-
Brother Jim: That old tray came out a little
-
Brother Jim: quick all over my brand new
-
Brother Jim: tennis shoes, all over the
-
Brother Jim: cement.
-
Brother Jim: Oh my goodness, what a mess.
-
David: We call that in the business a rookie mistake.
-
Brother Jim: Thank you. Yeah. Apparently I'm not getting a certificate of
-
Brother Jim: completion on that one yet, so, uh, what a mess.
-
Brother Jim: So now I'm gonna have to get a degreaser and go over with the
-
Brother Jim: pressure washer and pour Harold a great guy who's part of the T
-
Brother Jim: four C helps his wife there.
-
Brother Jim: He's down on his hands and knees trying to scrub it.
-
Brother Jim: Get it?
-
Brother Jim: I said I think this calls for the big guns.
-
Brother Jim: Yeah.
-
Brother Jim: Bring out the pressure washer.
-
Brother Jim: So uh, yes.
-
Brother Jim: But how about you guys let us know what you got going on?
-
Brother Jim: Uh, garden time's going to be here.
-
Brother Jim: I've been looking at some plants, David.
-
Brother Jim: Getting some ideas.
-
Brother Jim: Yeah, I did order something for myself.
-
Brother Jim: Uh, I've got a Steiner.
-
Brother Jim: I use that Steiner all the time, and it's got a bucket.
-
Brother Jim: And, uh, I bought a they're like forks.
-
Brother Jim: You can clamp so you can move skids, logs and everything.
-
Brother Jim: Yes.
-
Brother Jim: So, uh, I want to get some
-
Brother Jim: raised beds built, uh, for the
-
Brother Jim: plant.
-
Brother Jim: Tomato plants, potatoes.
-
Brother Jim: You gonna put some onions?
-
Brother Jim: Onions in for my mom, even
-
Brother Jim: though I detest onions, but
-
Brother Jim: yeah, looking at, uh, it's that
-
Brother Jim: time.
-
Brother Jim: Of course, it's still kind of hard with the weather here.
-
Brother Jim: Yeah.
-
Brother Jim: Yes.
-
Brother Jim: But, uh, you're gonna.
-
David: You're gonna raise them about
-
David: nine feet to keep the deer out
-
David: of them.
-
David: Yeah.
-
Brother Jim: Uh. Uh, I'm thinking a nice twenty two over their heads.
-
Brother Jim: Might get them out of the way.
-
Brother Jim: I'm saying that also works.
-
Brother Jim: Yes, yes, yes, dear.
-
David: Pair well with vegetables.
-
Brother Jim: Yeah. There you go.
-
Brother Jim: Don't.
-
Brother Jim: Please don't be calling the game warden.
-
Brother Jim: No, I'm joking, I'm joking.
-
Brother Jim: We'll go with the pepper spray and all that.
-
Brother Jim: Bottle rockets wouldn't be bad.
-
Brother Jim: Yeah, yeah, we could do.
-
Brother Jim: I got tons of bottles.
-
David: There you.
-
Brother Jim: Go. Roman candles.
-
Brother Jim: I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
-
Brother Jim: No, we could video that one.
-
David: Yeah, that'd be fun.
-
Brother Jim: Yeah. Uh, just as long as we don't shoot our eye out.
-
Brother Jim: So. All right, let us know what
-
Brother Jim: plans you got going for the
-
Brother Jim: weekend.
-
Brother Jim: And, uh, you know what?
-
Brother Jim: How your Easter goes.
-
Brother Jim: We'd love to hear from you, but
-
Brother Jim: what have you done this past
-
Brother Jim: week to make a difference in
-
Brother Jim: God's kingdom?
-
Brother Jim: Hopefully you've done something, even something little.
-
Brother Jim: Hey, just keep pounding away on it.
-
Brother Jim: Just keep pounding away.
-
Brother Jim: And the weekend is almost here.
-
Brother Jim: And you know what, David, I was thinking.
-
Brother Jim: I love old George Jones.
-
Brother Jim: Yeah, maybe we can pipe this in sometimes.
-
Brother Jim: And I was with Ellie the other
-
Brother Jim: day, and I said, have you ever
-
Brother Jim: heard this song from the Great
-
Brother Jim: Lake?
-
Brother Jim: Country music legend, George Jones?
-
Brother Jim: And, uh, that old song, it's finally Friday goes.
-
Brother Jim: I got one hundred dollars smoking in my billfold.
-
Brother Jim: I know I ought to save it, but
-
Brother Jim: it's burning a hole right
-
Brother Jim: through my pocket and into my
-
Brother Jim: skin.
-
Brother Jim: Come on Monday morning I'll be broke again.
-
Brother Jim: It's finally Friday.
-
Brother Jim: I'm free again.
-
Brother Jim: I got my motor running for a wild weekend.
-
Brother Jim: It's finally Friday.
-
Brother Jim: I'm out of control.
-
Brother Jim: Forget the working blues and let the good times roll.
-
Brother Jim: Now David, the good times for me.
-
Brother Jim: Work a little nap, a little work a little nap a little.
-
Brother Jim: You know, moderation, my friend.
-
Brother Jim: Moderation.
-
Brother Jim: So saddle up and let's let us.
-
Brother Jim: You and I hit the trail together
-
Brother Jim: for that brand new weekend, and
-
Brother Jim: we are going to have fun doing
-
Brother Jim: it.
-
Brother Jim: Come on, come on, come on.
-
Brother Jim: You can do it, friends.
-
Brother Jim: We're almost there now.
-
Brother Jim: A fellow took a new job, and in
-
Brother Jim: a hilly eastern city, his
-
Brother Jim: commute was a tiring array of
-
Brother Jim: tunnels, bridges and traffic
-
Brother Jim: jams.
-
Brother Jim: Thinking to make the trip more bearable, he invited some
-
Brother Jim: coworkers to share the ride.
-
Brother Jim: However, the commute actually
-
Brother Jim: got more stressful, especially
-
Brother Jim: the trips.
-
Brother Jim: The trips through the tunnel.
-
Brother Jim: He consulted the company doctor.
-
Brother Jim: Doc, the frustrated commuter complained.
-
Brother Jim: I'm fine on the bridges and the traffic in the day and at night,
-
Brother Jim: and even when Joe forgets to bathe all week.
-
Brother Jim: But when I get in the tunnels with those four other guys
-
Brother Jim: crowded into that car.
-
Brother Jim: I get anxious and dizzy and I feel like I'm going to explode.
-
Brother Jim: What is it, doc?
-
Brother Jim: AM I going insane?
-
Brother Jim: No, no, no, said the doctor.
-
Brother Jim: The problem?
-
Brother Jim: This problem is actually quite common.
-
Brother Jim: Tell me, what is it you have?
-
Brother Jim: You have what is known as carpal tunnel syndrome.
-
Brother Jim: Oh.
-
David: Oh. Watching.
-
David: Watching.
-
Brother Jim: Ah. I was getting stressed writing that out because I could
-
Brother Jim: just put myself in that.
-
David: Yeah.
-
Brother Jim: The traffic and the tunnels.
-
Brother Jim: Yes. Even Stinky Joe.
-
Brother Jim: I thought that was a good one, though.
-
Brother Jim: Carpal tunnel.
-
Brother Jim: Today's thought.
-
Brother Jim: The devil doesn't come dressed in a red cape and pointy horns.
-
Brother Jim: He comes as everything you'd ever wished for.
-
Brother Jim: Woo!
-
Brother Jim: Wow, Tucker.
-
Brother Jim: Max on that one.
-
Brother Jim: Well, as we continue our little talk here.
-
Brother Jim: Discussion?
-
Brother Jim: Why Satan hates mankind.
-
Brother Jim: Now understand this.
-
Brother Jim: Satan doesn't just dislike humanity.
-
Brother Jim: Satan hates you and I with a relentless burning hatred.
-
Brother Jim: Why?
-
Brother Jim: Why does he hate us so much?
-
Brother Jim: Because you and I were made in the image of God from the very
-
Brother Jim: beginning in the book of Genesis, God formed mankind with
-
Brother Jim: intention, breathed life into us, and gave us something safe.
-
Brother Jim: Satan.
-
Brother Jim: He gave up.
-
Brother Jim: He forfeited relationship.
-
Brother Jim: Relationship with God.
-
Brother Jim: Satan rebelled.
-
Brother Jim: We, we, my friends, were redeemed.
-
Brother Jim: And that reality.
-
Brother Jim: Oh my goodness, that reality
-
Brother Jim: fuels his rage, his anger, his
-
Brother Jim: hate.
-
Brother Jim: Every time Satan looks at humanity, he sees a reflection
-
Brother Jim: of the God he he rejected.
-
Brother Jim: And a future he's never going to have again.
-
Brother Jim: That's why Satan's mission is destruction.
-
Brother Jim: And in the book of John ten ten, and we've used this verse, one
-
Brother Jim: of my favorite verses.
-
Brother Jim: It says, the thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy.
-
Brother Jim: Satan wants to steal your identity.
-
Brother Jim: Kill your purpose and destroy,
-
Brother Jim: destroy, destroy your connection
-
Brother Jim: with God not because of who you
-
Brother Jim: are alone, but because of whose
-
Brother Jim: you are.
-
Brother Jim: Let me say that again.
-
Brother Jim: Not because of who you are alone
-
Brother Jim: yourself, but because of who you
-
Brother Jim: are.
-
Brother Jim: who you belong to and hopefully, hopefully you belong to God.
-
Brother Jim: Now if you don't, you're falling right into the devil's hands.
-
Brother Jim: Would you rather be a child of God or a pet to Satan?
-
Brother Jim: MM. Satan cannot strike God, so he strikes what God loves.
-
Brother Jim: But hear this clearly.
-
Brother Jim: Satan's hatred is not power.
-
Brother Jim: It is desperation.
-
Brother Jim: You ever been desperate before, David?
-
David: Oh, yeah.
-
Brother Jim: How are we?
-
Brother Jim: Desperate as mankind.
-
Brother Jim: Uh, start with something simple.
-
Brother Jim: I'm desperate to lose some weight again.
-
Brother Jim: Kind of, you know, hit a stymie, if you will.
-
Brother Jim: Uh, desperate.
-
Brother Jim: Comes with money, does it not?
-
Brother Jim: Got bills to pay and desperate to get some cash flow going in.
-
Brother Jim: Yep.
-
Brother Jim: And look at what mankind has turned to.
-
Brother Jim: Not so great ideas of, you know, obtaining money illegally,
-
Brother Jim: gambling, uh, stealing.
-
Brother Jim: I mean, that can go on and on.
-
Brother Jim: Desperation.
-
Brother Jim: How about in our own lives?
-
Brother Jim: Do we become desperate?
-
Brother Jim: Do we.
-
Brother Jim: Do we lack hope?
-
Brother Jim: I think that's you ever run into that?
-
Brother Jim: A person with no hope, I. I was a person with no hope.
-
Brother Jim: Desperate, very desperate.
-
Brother Jim: Desperate just to hang on to life.
-
Brother Jim: There's people out there, my friends.
-
Brother Jim: I've been there.
-
Brother Jim: You are desperate just to get through the day.
-
Brother Jim: And that's reality.
-
Brother Jim: That's just reality.
-
Brother Jim: Say that with me.
-
Brother Jim: Reality, desperation.
-
Brother Jim: Just to make it through today.
-
Brother Jim: That maybe, just maybe today might be a little different.
-
Brother Jim: But because.
-
Brother Jim: Oh, because despite everything he tries, Satan tries.
-
Brother Jim: Humanity still has access.
-
Brother Jim: Yes, we have access to grace.
-
Brother Jim: We. We still have access to forgiveness.
-
Brother Jim: Still we have access to victory.
-
Brother Jim: There's going to come a time when we leave this earth.
-
Brother Jim: That axis is over.
-
Brother Jim: I know it's a horrible thing to
-
Brother Jim: say, but could you imagine
-
Brother Jim: peeking in on the people in
-
Brother Jim: hell?
-
David: No.
-
Brother Jim: What would they say?
-
David: Man, I've got to be just talk about.
-
David: Full of regrets.
-
Brother Jim: Desperation.
-
David: Yeah.
-
Brother Jim: Desperation. And I was reading in the Bible.
-
Brother Jim: And we'll get more into this.
-
Brother Jim: You know, it talks about the gnashing of teeth.
-
Brother Jim: And it was explained that as people screaming, yelling out,
-
Brother Jim: angry at God, why did you do this to me?
-
Brother Jim: God, why did you put me here?
-
Brother Jim: God and no, God didn't put you there.
-
Brother Jim: God gave you.
-
Brother Jim: Listen up folks.
-
Brother Jim: God gave you a choice.
-
Brother Jim: He loves us so much.
-
Brother Jim: He gave us free will.
-
Brother Jim: You choose.
-
Brother Jim: I choose where we spend eternity.
-
Brother Jim: That's true love.
-
Brother Jim: He's not forcing us to do anything.
-
Brother Jim: He gave us his son, Jesus.
-
Brother Jim: to die for our sins, to take our sins.
-
Brother Jim: Think of that.
-
Brother Jim: An innocent man.
-
Brother Jim: You ever been innocent before and charged with something you
-
Brother Jim: didn't do or blame for something you didn't do?
-
Brother Jim: That's not a very good feeling, is it, David?
-
Brother Jim: And you think of Jesus perfect, innocent.
-
Brother Jim: But at the end of the day, those moments, he took it all for us.
-
Brother Jim: And just think about that.
-
Brother Jim: All the sins of the world.
-
Brother Jim: And David, I can't even begin to
-
Brother Jim: fathom that all the sins of the
-
Brother Jim: world.
-
Brother Jim: So when you feel the pressure, the lies, the attacks.
-
Brother Jim: Do not mistake it for weakness.
-
Brother Jim: It is confirmation.
-
Brother Jim: You and I, you and I are a
-
Brother Jim: target because you carry
-
Brother Jim: something eternal.
-
Brother Jim: Satan hates mankind because we
-
Brother Jim: remind him that he had already
-
Brother Jim: lost.
-
Brother Jim: We remind him what he gave up.
-
Brother Jim: And again, whose fault is that?
-
Brother Jim: Satan?
-
Brother Jim: He made the choice.
-
Brother Jim: And again, as Dave and I talked last week, I mean, why, dude?
-
Brother Jim: Why you're your creation of heaven.
-
Brother Jim: You have this high Power.
-
Brother Jim: You're there with God.
-
Brother Jim: You're leading praise and worship.
-
Brother Jim: Why would you give that up?
-
Brother Jim: Pride.
-
Brother Jim: Yeah.
-
Brother Jim: But again, for you and I, I just to me, dude, you got it made.
-
Brother Jim: Yeah, you got it made.
-
Brother Jim: Why would you do that?
-
Brother Jim: But you look at ourselves, we self destruct, don't we?
-
David: Absolutely.
-
Brother Jim: We self destruct from the little to the big.
-
Brother Jim: We self destruct just as well.
-
Brother Jim: And at the end of the day, are
-
Brother Jim: you left with that nagging
-
Brother Jim: question.
-
Brother Jim: Why did I do that?
-
Brother Jim: Boy I do.
-
Brother Jim: Why did I just do that?
-
Brother Jim: And brother sisters, I don't know about you, but that's where
-
Brother Jim: that conviction comes in.
-
Brother Jim: Yeah, because we're hurting God, you know.
-
Brother Jim: Our actions, what we say, what we do, and we're claiming to be,
-
Brother Jim: oh, I belong to God, and that's great, but we gotta live it too.
-
Brother Jim: And I'm talking to me right now as well as you.
-
Brother Jim: We gotta live it.
-
Brother Jim: Why would you hurt somebody you love?
-
Brother Jim: Why would you hurt somebody who sacrificed it all?
-
Brother Jim: Again.
-
Brother Jim: Satan hates mankind because we remind him what he already lost.
-
Brother Jim: My friends, there's a battle going on.
-
Brother Jim: There is a spiritual warfare
-
Brother Jim: going on around you and I.
-
Brother Jim: Taking hold.
-
Brother Jim: Families.
-
Brother Jim: And it's been there.
-
Brother Jim: Family, schools, government, our country, the world.
-
Brother Jim: But there's victory.
-
Brother Jim: At the end of the day, there is victory.
-
Brother Jim: And I don't know.
-
Brother Jim: David doesn't know.
-
Brother Jim: We don't know when God is coming back.
-
Brother Jim: When Jesus comes back, only God knows.
-
Brother Jim: The father knows.
-
Brother Jim: But when that time comes, are you prepared?
-
Brother Jim: Are you prepared?
-
Brother Jim: Don't delay.
-
Brother Jim: Make the choice.
-
Brother Jim: Jesus and Jesus alone.
-
Brother Jim: Well, my friends, that just about does it for this Thursday.
-
Brother Jim: Oh my goodness.
-
Brother Jim: David.
-
David: April second a yeah and a happy
-
David: birthday to the Leinster
-
David: yesterday.
-
David: Oh really?
-
David: Yeah.
-
David: The Leinster.
-
David: Yep.
-
David: April Fool's Day April Fool's Day.
-
Brother Jim: I'm gonna have to run with that one.
-
Brother Jim: Yes.
-
Brother Jim: Uh, thank you for letting me know that.
-
Brother Jim: Certainly.
-
Brother Jim: Yes.

-
Brother Jim: this segment.

-
David: been, you know, we wait for all year long, right?
-
David: This is our Super Bowl, if you will, not to not to cheapen it

David: any, any at all.

David: We got Good Friday tomorrow.

David: Excuse me.

David: come out, step up and tell us that you listen, uh, you know,

David: we'll take pictures with you.
-
David: If you don't want pictures with
-
David: us, just don't tell us you don't
-
David: listen.
-
Brother Jim: Yeah. Yeah, but can you take a picture with the pig?
-
David: Yeah, yeah.
-
David: You take a pic with the.
-
Brother Jim: Yep. Yeah. We probably get more
-
Brother Jim: people taking pictures with
-
Brother Jim: these two.
-
Brother Jim: Hey.
-
Brother Jim: That's okay.
-
Brother Jim: But that's okay.
-
Brother Jim: That's all right.
-
Brother Jim: All right.
-
Brother Jim: That's all right.
-
Brother Jim: And we won't even charge you for the pictures.
-
Brother Jim: Actually, we probably should be paying them, right?
-
Brother Jim: All right.
-
Brother Jim: Please remember you.
-
Brother Jim: Yes, you.
-
Brother Jim: You have meaning.
-
Brother Jim: You have value.
-
Brother Jim: And most of all, you are loved friends.
-
Brother Jim: May God continue to bless you just as well.
-
Brother Jim: May you and I continue to thank our Lord above for all the
-
Brother Jim: blessings each and every day.
-
Brother Jim: And if we meet again, well, then we will rejoice.
-
Brother Jim: We will smile.
-
Brother Jim: And if not, then this parting was well made.
-
Brother Jim: Happy trails to you.
-
Brother Jim: Until we meet again.
