She said something to me in wisdom that I now.

And able to bring to myself as I'm going through

my process. And she said this statement, and I want

you to think of it very carefully. Podcasts and knowles

that are listening, She said, what I had learned in

the timing of my life is good things come to

those who wait to good things come. This is not

what I'm talking about, but I want to share this

someone you need to learn to wait.

wasn't supposed to be born, says, She wasn't supposed to

And I had the pleasure of playing with her and

talking with her, and and and and she was just

checking me out. She's a character, I tell you. And

I'm rubbing her face.

And getting to know each other. And you know, of

course she almost threw up on me. That's fine, that's

the family was gathered together.

And of course there's a background to that, and we

were sitting there together, no schisms, no gossip, but loving

Everyone's laughing and getting to know each other, because there

were a lot of things I know about them.

But in my spirit, I sat there and felt like

I was the odd ball. And I really didn't.

Feel this as much as I did before. And I

began to feel a sense of loneliness.

Oh, I know it's right. If my flesh man began

to greet, I.

Said, my fleshman began to greet because I felt like.

I did not have a connection.

I knew everybody's name, knew everybody's.

I knew my brother and sister.

We were born from the same we were born from

the same father. But at that time I felt a

strange you like, I felt like I didn't belong to

these people. Jesus God, they tell you something about Let

me keep telling you the story.

Oh yeah, So my nephew came in. Jeremiah just turned

ten years old, radiated a whole room. Came in and

gave me the first one. He gave me a hug.

He didn't care about them. He gave me a hug,

and I said, And so he sat down and we

started playing the game. He was in the game.

He's ten years old, and I was just astonished at him.

This is the boy that dealt with mutedness all the

way up to about the age of six, wasn't saying nothing.

But God had promised me. He said, listen, he's going

to speak, and when he speaks, he's not going to stop.

And so last night he's so intelligent. I mean, I

have never seen anything the intelligence I scene.

On this boy. He read the question he said to

uh name. We had to play a game called name

of Shape, and everybody was, oh God, I know, I'm done.

I was on two rounds and lost, and then Jeremiah says,

some some kind of shape I have never heard before,

and everybody's like huh. And he says, well, let me explain.

It's got about foresides and blah blah blah blah blah.

And we're just looking like damn this ten year old boy.

And so we get to the other question.

I'm gonna help y'all because when you think that nobody's

I am. They know nothing about the podcast.

I believe that if you live a life that is righteous,

somebody is going to live by that example. And so

we get to the question.

And I'm sitting there because when you ask the question,

you're asking it to the right. And the question was

what would I like to see my family do more of?

And I said, I can't wait to hear the questions.

Boy, And I'm sitting there, said, Lord, I better think

of so because I'm trying to fit in. I said,

I'm better get rid of the Jesus thing, because man,

I got enough of that.

I said, oh boy, I'm gonna say.

And the first thing my brother says is pray my

oldest brother. And then my sister's husband.

Paul says, his name is Paul, as he says, go

to church. But my nephew shocked me. Jaden, I don't

spend any too much time with him, he says, spread

the gospel. I said, Jesus, I don't know God has

up in here.

Do you understand that God is in the room. And

when God comes in the room, everybody's got the function

with the.

But when I came in the presence, when there was

unity in listen, God said, listen, don't focus on the

there was a disconnect I knew longer.

But you don't realize that your family and your friends

But see if your life is not an example of righteousness.

I'm not talking about everything that you do has to

people who are having in a spiritual mid life crisis,

constantly trying to find themselves, to those people who are

having a tough time.

Identifying who they are in Christ. I am going to

help you identify who you are. I didn't say who

the church said you are. I didn't say who the

ministry said that you are.

Listen, just because I stand here and I have a

podcast ministry, does that mean that reflects the fullness of

who I am in God?

The Bible says that we are born in His image

and after His own likeness, and it says that we

are to be.

Conformed to the image of His son Jesus, not conformed

to the church, not conform to your bishop, not conform

to the pastor of your church, but conform to the

image of his son, Jesus Christ, so that when I

look at you in the mirror, I don't see your

ugly face. I see Jesus.

Right, I'm gonna say this to you.

In order to identify you must be able to occupy.

I'm talking about occupy the fullness.

Of who you are, not the person that was some

of you are. Let me help you with some old God.

I know, Lord, I'm gonna hope I get through it

In order for you to identify, you must be able

to occupy. I'm not talking about the former person. Some

of you are spending too much.

Time trying to preserve who was instead of coming into

who you are. Right, the Word of God tells you

who you are. It's about listen. I'll beat myself up

read the word. Boy, got quiet. See, just coming to

church on Sunday or Saturday or Tuesday, or I had

to cover all the skirts because I don't just see

them on one day.

That is not enough.

Listening to a man of God or a woman of

God is not enough.

That is not going to build the identity that He

has that's in you to become. It's not only gonna

take the word, but it's also gonna take something that

a lot of.

Us in this room and in podcasts struggle with, and

that is commitments.

And how many people of you know and I can

be the first one that have broken commitments with God?

But then we find ourselves and.

We find things in our life that are not committing

to or conforming to the image.

That God has ordained us to become.

You cannot identify something within yourself if you do not

occupy it, or before not even or go beyond occupying,

but also controlling who you are and.

Accepting who you. I know, we haven't accepted this problem.

You know, some of us know that we're called to ministry,

but yet we got a fleshman that says I want

to be an IT developer. Oh okay, there's a conforming

that happens when you get saved and once you confess

the by laws of Christianity. I said, bylaws because they

come with clause, the clauses that you didn't.

See in them black and white. And and I've said

this before. You know it says at the.

Bottom, due to your nature, I might have to regulate

certain seeing you.

Can't read that part.

You also didn't read the fact that in the time

that your money acts funny, I'm the one that's.

Did you say, I'm the Lord's your provider.

That there is something we haven't embraced in ourselves, that

we haven't accepted as being a part of us. When

we question ourselves, there is something about ourselves that we

have not accepted.

I know nobody's questioned ourselves. We say who are we?

Jesus is the validation.

Or that Jesus validation cannot come without his connection.

God cannot connect you which your flesh. It says that

flesh and blood cannot inherit, but I guess that is

a question about flesh and blood cannot inherit the things

of the kingdom. That's why the kingdom was in the

living room yesterday, because it was a different kingdom sitting there.

At one time, you could be with your family and

you be sitting here at the barbecue. I know tomorrow's

is pertain to the things of the flesh. I'm sitting

because the devil knows what's your bounty. But see, no,

you don't want the position to save souls. You don't

want the position where you're gonna have to look against

the crowd. Are you gonna have to go against everybody

go the opposite direction. You don't want to sacrifice your marriage.

You don't want to sacrifice your children. You don't want

to sacrifice your organization. You don't want to sacrifice your building.

You may have to sacrifice yourself.

Well, Jesus God, she don't want that. So the devil said,

I'll offer you something.

were before, and so I'll give you a board of

directors to make you look good.

But what happens when the leaves you? What happens when

the organization falls un. I'm gonna give you resources, of course,

the devil's gonna give you that. It didn't cost you anything.

But your nature is pompous and prideful.

The question is what identity? Who are you? Exactly? Let's

into a spiritual place.

Went into a spiritual wilderness. Look what happened to Moses.

to do with Egypt, everything that had to do with

the natural.

Identity, had to die. Lor God, I know you don't

Yeah. Everything in the physical had to die because God

ain't revealed himself with flesh. Maybe that's why some of

you got a problem.

He put him in a physical place that represented a wilderness. Listen,

when he puts you in a place, right, it is

something he's doing with you.

In the spirit when you are around him, a bunch

When you're in a place that seems like poverty, I said,

seems like there's some poverty places in you.

That God is trying to uproots.

Yes, God took Jesus to a place watches.

And uninhabitant, untouched by human activity. He put Jesus in

a lonely place.

to a place.

Where your flesh can begin to decay, that's your mind

can go crazy and be saying, what the hell am

I doing here.

Sitting in this place? Hell?

What I gotta bring you to a place where your

mind is getting broken down until you releviate yourself from

everything that it catches.

Your mind, in your will, in your emotions too.

Uh.

I've been in it for a while.

Your identity in the physical identifies with things.

Taken out of the natural habitat of identifying with something physical,

it brings it into a place of confrontation. When you

walk by faith and not by sight. I'm sorry, but

your flesh is not going to agree. And some of

us have had faithful wilderness experiences where you are spending

more time fighting your flesh than actually coming.

Into the things of faith.

A couple of weeks ago.

I had thought I lost my prayer life because I

was going through so much and hadn't really been spending

too much time with him until an incident came and

it seemed like somebody had poured like gallons of water.

Into my prayer one and I thought I had lost

it for a moment. But I'll tell you one thing.

I found it. And I said, well, Lord, I had

to find it. He said, no, you didn't never have

to find it. You didn't have to find it. You

never lost it. That's right, that's right. Ever, the devil

just wanted to make you think you lost it. But

see here's the thing. Watched this. I'm gonna help you

with something. Y'all give me about ten minutes. I'm done.

I've been preaching for two hours. God will allow you.

To experience loneliness, rejection, God rejection just so he can

reveal something to you about himself. Now for him to say,

even though you have not been in.

Fellowship daily memoship, does it mean you lost anything.

It doesn't mean you had to find anything. The devil

lied to you.

But see, if I had not went through this, I

wouldn't have been able to hear the validation from my

father that said, the devil lied to you.

And we're gonna talk about the devil too. The spirit

led him to a place where he.

Could demonstrate just exactly what he did physically when he

was baptized in that water. Some of us don't realize

when God is leading us to a place that sometimes,

as I said before, it represents a death of.

Everything about Jesus is thinking in the flesh had to die,

go The biggest devil was himself. You think he was

being tempted by a man with horns. No, No, it

was his own self image. We all have a self image.

We all want to be like this and want to

be like Mike, and want to be like the Pastor,

and want to.

Your DNA. Don't call you to be like the pastor.

When you gave that self image up, Yes you did.

When you gave up your car, when you gave up

your riches, Oh.

Yes you did.

Yes, Oh yeah, you told God you wanted out. He

gave you a way out because He is the way

of the truth and the life. And so now that

you gave over the possession that he purchased from you,

which is yourself, like I say all the time, he

had a bigger down payment.

Yes you want, Yes, yea, he bought your contract out.

You now belong to him. You are of his DNA.

You are of his seed, which is incorruptible, which means

that if the seed of incorruptions in you, that means

nothing corruptible to be coming out of you. Right, But

He's gonna take you through that process or your self

image becomes God told me a couple of months because said,

that's why some of the things that you're going through right.

Now, some of the pains hurts, the mind of going

crazy is because you have not fully put me on.

That is a dying process. And this is what Jesus

is going to. Jesus had to face the humanity of himself.

This is why he.

Knew Jesus only by the flesh. The devil that was

talking to him was.

His self image. He had to talk to his flesh.

See, once you come into who you are, you must

face who you are. You have to face who you were.

You gotta look at it in the You're not going now,

You're not going there.

Yeah.

Yeah, And see that's why some of you are having

the battle, because you're too busy fighting the old person

but not putting off the new identity. Yes, God, you

have to face the devil in the mirror. You have

to let the devil know he is defeated. Jesus had

to face his flash.

Everybody that says that they are bloodstained there, everybody that

say they under Jesus. Now, you gonna go to the

bathroom closset of that wilderness, and you're gonna deal with

that self, that false image, and.

came talking about identity.

He's saying, are you really gonna sit there and believe

this stuff that this man is telling you that you

gotta fast for forty days?

Are you kidding me? He's a liar, He's a don't

you miss eating all the bread.

That we remember the bread at subway, Miss sad, don't

you meant, honey, I had I fell short last night. Now,

come on, y'all gotta help see when the flesh is

trying to die, when God says to start.

Eating a certain die. Let me tell you you got

it work? Oh the ski I don't have that problem.

And guess what. You ain't got no testimony, honey. Let

me tell you something. I said, I want me some

ice cream. I'm gonna give me. I'm gonna get the

good stuff, Ben and Jerry's I have been in there

none no how long, honey. I sat there and tore

it up.

Of course, I didn't know that the angel was sitting

next to me, saying, listen, you could have a piece

of fruit. I said, oh, shut up, I'm having miss

ice cream. And after I got finished, I can hear

the Lord say.

Was it good? Said boy? I said, I'm in big trouble.

I'm in trouble now. He says it wasn't good. I said, well,

it wasn't that bad. I mean, hey, he said, it

may not have been.

And when you consume it, but the calories will speak

for itself when it manifest through your belly. Hm.

Hmmm, He's so nice to me. But see, God understands

that it's a dying process.

Mm hmm.

There are some foods you're gonna have to lay down

to become the image.

Of his son.

There are some false teachings that you're going to have

to lay down in order to win people over.

In grace you're trying to hear, some may go pride

don't have to fall so they God can have you

minister the people that are in those high places. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, Jesus.

He wasn't only going on a physical fast. He was

going through a mental fastest. Yes.

See.

Just because you sit there and you say I haven't

eaten in five days doesn't mean God, God, he wouldn't.

Want that's right, that's right. Your mind has to.

Die with it.

That's why he says prayer and fasting.

But I lost twenty I lost twenty pounds when we

went on this fast, and he did too, He lost

twenty pounds too. The only problem is you're still dealing

with the same spirit. He wasn't hungering for food, He

was hungering for spiritual food.

That's right.

Notice what he said his humidity didn't ask about where

the nearest food pantry was he went straight to his identity.

He said, if you have a son of God, so

he came against the identity. He already knew that even

though Jesus was demonstrating this thing in the natural, I'll

tell you about the kids in a minute. Even though

he was demonstrating it in the natural, his spirit man

would comply.

With what he's demonstrating. Okay. And as soon as he

did that, the devil knew his self image, knew.

That he was heading for coffin because he was no

longer connecting himself with the bread pantry. He was no

longer connecting himself with the self image. The devil he

had to deal with was not only self image, It

was a voice of the self, because.

You can't be him. If you're hurry, you can't be

this self image that you say that you are. If

you're broke, you.

Can't be this self image if you don't have the

riches sing. That's what he was saying to Jesus. If

you truly are who you say you are, take what

I gave you. Take what was given to you in

the spirit, Take what was validated to you. Take what's

your father, your fake father said to you, and use

it to produce some physical bread.

Take the gift that God gave me, Take the gift

that you get that He gave you.

And counterfeited only he preach hat truth. No, because you

know you don't want to offend some people. Because if

you say you're the son of God, if you say

you really died to me, I'll tell you what.

You won't give up. You won't give up your husband.

You won't give him up.

Even though your father, your fake father that you say

is Jesus, he said to give him up because he's

under flesh.

I'm trying to hear that.

That's what he was battling. And see that's what some

of you are battling. Some of you are married, but

some of you are Mary to devils. God did not

constitute that union. Some of you had backdoor unions. God

ain't in them. Some of you are connected with friends

but their phones. Some of you have made your business

your God. You build yourself IMMAs on your business. What

you ain't about the God's business.

And so what God gotta do. He gotta regulate you.

He gotta bring your business, the business that was yours.

He gotta regulate it down so that his business can
