  7. a chance to come to the Central Florida

  8. area, come visit us. We would love to

  9. connect with you face to face. But until

  10. then, visit our website freelive

  11. chapel.org to find out more about what's

  12. happening at your church today. There's

  13. a phenomenal message in store just for

  14. you. I hope you're encouraged. We are in

  15. a series right now called We the Church.

  16. We the church. I I want to talk to you

  17. today. We're talking on the in this

  18. series, we're talking about the

  19. essentials of what it means to be a

  20. believer. Now, let me help you with

  21. something from John that the the it's

  22. important that you understand this is

  23. not just about you and I having good

  24. behavior.

  25. This is about you and I going spiritual

  26. in a natural world.

  27. >> Making spiritual steps.

  28. >> Not not just trying to does it feel

  29. good, is it natural? No, I'm going to

  30. find out what this book says and I'm

  31. doing this

  32. >> that takes a spiritual decision in life.

  33. And those people who make those steps

  34. are not are are not attending church as

  35. usual. We have to be so very careful

  36. because as people who have been serving

  37. Jesus for a minute, church can become

  38. monotonous and so routine that it loses

  39. bite and traction and impact. And we

  40. have to stir ourself up, awaken ourself

  41. so that we get, if I could put it this

  42. way, our spiritual operating system

  43. brought up, working passionately, firing

  44. on all cylinders. So that in a chaotic,

  45. crazy, unpredictable world, we are still

  46. living the abundant life that Jesus died

  47. to give us. This is what we're talking

  48. about. That you won't have a mundane,

  49. tired tow up from the flow up 2026. We

  50. want you living with power, joy,

  51. excitement, anticipation for everything

  52. God's word says. But you got to go

  53. spiritual on it if it's going to happen.

  54. In other words, we're not guessing for

  55. 2026. We're declaring for 2026. We are

  56. expecting. We are pre-deciding.

  57. It's a pre-order. It's Sometimes it's

  58. nice. We'll be flying on a on a flight

  59. somewhere and Heather will hit me and

  60. say, "Uh, the flight wants to know what

  61. your order, your food order is ahead of

  62. time." Great. Tell them, "I want this,

  63. want this, want this." And once I get

  64. there, they don't even come to me to ask

  65. me. They just deliver what it is that we

  66. pre-ordered. It's time for you and I to

  67. put some pre-orders in for 2026 and then

  68. just wait for God to deliver because

  69. when we do it his way, we get his

  70. results. John 17:17 is the anchor point

    John 17:17

  71. that really has pulled this this this um

  72. this series together for us. And if you

  73. have your new Bible, since you B Y O B

  74. FL LC, then I want you to open your

  75. Bible and you can underline John 17

  76. verse1 17, the second part of this

  77. verse. Here's what it says. Read it

  78. loud. Read it proud. Your word is truth.

  79. Four words that will change your life if

  80. you actually believe what you read.

  81. Let's read it again. Ready? One, two,

  82. three. Your word is truth. Now say it

  83. like you mean it. Say, just say it with

  84. some grit. I I want you to growl when

  85. you say it. Ready? 1 2 3. Your word is

  86. truth. You can live by that.

  87. >> And if you and I actually believe that

  88. his word is truth, then whatever his

  89. word says is what I'm going to do.

  90. >> I don't have to feel it. I don't have to

  91. like it. I don't have to be convinced of

  92. it. If he said it, it's true.

  93. >> That's really important because

  94. everything in your life is not true.

  95. >> All right? Every conversation you have

  96. is not true.

  97. >> People that you talk to can talk in

  98. deceptions, half-truths, whole lies.

  99. >> They can run you down a road and you can

  100. believe something for so long and then

  101. it end up costing you in the end because

  102. you don't really know what to believe,

  103. what not to believe. Sometimes people

  104. are telling you the best they know, but

  105. they have no way to really back up or

  106. actually do what it is that they

  107. promised the results to be. I need

  108. something that has been proven. It has

  109. been tested. You can build your life on

  110. it. And the Bible says your word is

  111. truth. This matters.

  112. The law of firsts is what I want to talk

  113. to you about today.

  114. Creating this system override that

  115. there's this overarching principle that

  116. runs your life and my life that leads us

  117. forward. In 1776, there was this group

  118. of best way to call them would just be

  119. rebels.

  120. A group of rebels got together and they

  121. signed a document that changed the

  122. world. And it wasn't just a wish list of

  123. cool, good, really neat things to do.

  124. They were establishing a first principle

  125. that we're going to we're going to see

  126. the birth of a brand new nation called

  127. America. And we want to lay a foundation

  128. that everything that comes out of this

  129. nation will be standing on the

  130. foundation of this. and they wrote

  131. what's called the United States

  132. Declaration of Independence.

  133. It was basically the birth certificate

  134. of America is what they were writing.

  135. And four times in that document, they

  136. mentioned God. They were not shy about

  137. declaring who he is. And for God was not

  138. a footnote. He wasn't a just an

  139. additional commentary kind of, well, we

  140. could apply this to God. No, no, no. He

  141. was the source code. He was the

  142. foundation. He was the pillar that this

  143. was built on. Four times they go to him

  144. in the Declaration of Independence

  145. speaking to him. First, they call him

  146. nature's God. In other words, he's the

  147. logic that's behind the universe,

  148. creation, as well as humanity's ability

  149. to even have a moral conscience to know

  150. when something is right and when

  151. something is wrong. They also call him

  152. the creator. He is the patent holder of

  153. your rights. Dr. The king did not decide

  154. that somebody would have rights. God's

  155. word decided that you are fearfully and

  156. wonderfully made. And your rights come

  157. from the Lord. God is the one that

  158. decided that. Doesn't matter what

  159. Washington says. God said it and

  160. therefore it stands. He is also called

  161. the Supreme Judge. He's the final court

  162. of appeals. In other words, everybody

  163. can think one thing about you. But if

  164. God is smiling on your life, can't touch

  165. this. like

  166. like it's just good to know that God is

  167. the has the final word. He's the final

  168. judge in this.

  169. >> And the fourth way that he's spoken of

  170. in in the Declaration of Independence is

  171. he is the divine providence. In other

  172. words, he's the venture capitalist of

  173. your future. He is working in your

  174. future to make sure it pays you,

  175. supplies for you, increases for your

  176. life. This this was the bedrock of Dr.

  177. King's message. He pulled on these God

  178. principles, these biblical principles to

  179. declare in his message that civil rights

  180. belong to all people. But this wasn't

  181. Dr. King's idea. This was a Bible idea.

  182. This was back to the very beginning of

  183. the origin of America. Dr. King was just

  184. reminding us as to what it was that you

  185. said this nation would be founded on and

  186. called us back to that again. Here's the

  187. point. Here's what I'm trying to tell

  188. you. Just as a nation is built on its

  189. first documents,

  190. your life has got to be built on a first

  191. fruit principle.

  192. >> Yeah.

  193. >> There has got to be a standard set for

  194. your life. Because if not, you will go

  195. every which way if there's not a marker

  196. to hold you solid in life. You will

  197. drift. You'll be deceived. You'll be

  198. yanked. Emotions. You'll wake up one day

  199. feel this way. By the afternoon, you

  200. feel a different way. And you're trying

  201. it all. and you look up and all of a

  202. sudden you realize I'm going nowhere in

  203. life. I'm spinning in circles. Because

  204. if the foundation is self, if it's me,

  205. my what I want, then that structure is

  206. going to collapse. It is not promised to

  207. serve you well. Everybody else is

  208. running with that same mindset. You're

  209. going to be aggravated. You're going to

  210. be jacked up because everybody does not

  211. wake up in the morning thinking about

  212. how to make you happy.

  213. >> There's got to be something more there.

  214. I can't be built all on me. No, the

  215. reality is this. There's got to be a

  216. foundation built on the creator. And

  217. when you do that, that structure is

  218. packed with a power that is unstoppable

  219. for your life. Ladies and gentlemen,

  220. God's word is true. It is yes and amen.

  221. If he said it, it must happen or he's a

  222. liar. And he is not going to mar his

  223. reputation for you or me. Let's talk

  224. about this first fruit principle. What

  225. does this look like? Basically, first

  226. things in life matter. They matter.

  227. Pimero.

  228. It's the best I got. Chim Chonga

  229. burrito. There you go. You got you got

  230. my Spanish right there. The the the

  231. first first things first. That's why you

  232. and I, we've got to make sure that we

  233. don't aren't trying to own our life. We

  234. are only stewarding our life. In other

  235. words, watch this. Stewardship isn't

  236. about what you give. It's about what you

  237. bring. Let me show you the

  238. differentiation.

  239. You and I, if we're not careful, we'll

  240. take an ownership mindset instead of a

  241. management mindset.

  242. You don't give anything to God. All you

  243. do is return back to God what he gave

  244. you.

  245. God is the source and you have resource.

  246. God is the one that poured his source

  247. into you. That's the only reason you

  248. have the talent that you have. It's the

  249. only reason you have the energy that you

  250. have. It's the only reason that your

  251. left toe uh your pinky toe goes hard

  252. left on on your left foot like God has

  253. been intricately involved in all areas

  254. of your life. Proof that he has a sense

  255. of humor. And everything your your

  256. ability to learn your your ability to to

  257. if you're into math, God gave you that

  258. ability. If you're a creative, God gave

  259. you that ability. If you can dance, yay

  260. for you. God gave you that ability.

  261. There's nothing that we can go yay look

  262. at me. No. All of that is a resource

  263. that came from the source. And we've got

  264. to realize we're managers of that. We

  265. are not owners of any of it. So I don't

  266. ever give to God. I just return to God.

  267. When a a child gives a parent something

  268. to say I love you or thank you or

  269. whatever. The parent knows that the kid

  270. would have nothing to give the parent if

  271. the parent hadn't first given something

  272. to the kid.

  273. >> The kid can't produce it. It's the same

  274. with you and I. You and I are to bring

  275. back to return to God. Leviticus chapter

  276. 23:10 says this, "You are to bring to

  277. the priest a sheath of the first fruit

  278. of your harvest."

  279. He said, "You are to bring it." You see,

  280. giving implies that I own it. But the

  281. Bible uses a specific word that says

  282. bring, not give. It's specific. It's

  283. intentional because bringing means I'm

  284. just a highlevel manager

  285. of all of this amazing wonder and

  286. awesomeness God packed inside of me. I'm

  287. just dripping in finesse is what I'm

  288. trying to tell you. Right. I got I got

  289. to manage all this stuff. Would you look

  290. at someone and tell them managing all

  291. this is hard? Just tell them managing

  292. all this is hard. It's it's just there's

  293. just so much amazing stuff going on

  294. here. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

  295. We know you're amazing. We know you're

  296. great. And we know you're flaky and

  297. fruity sometimes also because all of us

  298. in the room are. That's who we are. But

  299. all we are are managers. And we are

  300. returning to God the dividends that he

  301. requires that he deserves to say thank

  302. you. So this principle of first fruit,

  303. ladies and gentlemen, I want you to

  304. understand the reason it's not got

  305. massive buy in is it's scary for a lot

  306. of people. It's scary. Think about how

  307. this played out in your Bible. In the

  308. Old Testament, the way that this

  309. happened was a farmer had planted a big

  310. crop and he would go out and the very

  311. first part that that turned ripe, like

  312. they haven't had they haven't had any of

  313. this food, any of this crop all through

  314. the winter, now it begins to grow. And

  315. the farmer goes out and he says, "This

  316. first part, man, it looks good. It's

  317. fresh. It's ripe. It's ready to eat. But

  318. I'm not going to eat it. I'm going to

  319. turn it into an offering and honor God

  320. with the first, the principle of the

  321. first." He gets the best, he gets the

  322. first. Why is that scary? Because the

  323. farmer had no way to know whether a

  324. drought was going to hit next week. If

  325. the rest of the crop would be eaten by

  326. insects or bugs, would there even be a

  327. full harvest? And so, for that reason,

  328. some people begin to think, man, just

  329. let it all come in and then give God

  330. something. Make sure that you're hedging

  331. all of your stuff to make sure you're

  332. you're good. You're protected. Mark

  333. that. But but but no, that's not what

  334. the first fruit principle is. They

  335. marked and brought the first fruit while

  336. they were still living in that scary

  337. scarcity zone. Like we don't have a lot.

  338. The first that came in, we're actually

  339. taking it to God. But here's the

  340. principle. Watch this. Don't miss this

  341. folks. This applies to you and me today.

  342. Scarcity says this. Wait until I have

  343. enough and then I'll be obedient.

  344. First fruit says, "I give because God is

  345. enough

  346. >> and I trust him with my life." That's

  347. that's a different ball game, ladies and

  348. gentlemen. It's it's it's almost like

  349. it's almost like your life and my life

  350. being like a cell phone.

  351. You have this thing in your phone called

  352. an operating system.

  353. And you have to update and upgrade those

  354. things every now and then. If you got a

  355. phone and you have never looked in that

  356. settings, general, and see update, and

  357. you probably got like 17 updates waiting

  358. on you since 2022, you got some problems

  359. in your phone right now. I promise you.

  360. Look, people checking their phone right

  361. now like, "Oh my god, what?" Look, you

  362. know, and and can I tell you what

  363. happens in that your operating system is

  364. not updated. Therefore, the apps that

  365. are loaded in your phone are glitching.

  366. Some of them have stopped working. they

  367. because the operating system is what

  368. supports every app inside your phone.

  369. And if the operating system is old, then

  370. the apps either stop working or they're

  371. glitching. They work part of the time,

  372. none of the time. You can't get them to

  373. load. You can't. And it's so

  374. aggravating. Here's what I want you to

  375. understand. You have apps running in

  376. your life. You have an app called a

  377. marriage. You have an app called a

  378. business. You have an app called

  379. Finances. You have an app called Hope.

  380. You have an app called Joy and these

  381. apps are running in your life. But if

  382. you and I allow our operating system to

  383. get old and antiquated and I have not

  384. refreshed it to bring it up that it's

  385. all built on and focused on God. Then

  386. things start shutting down in my life.

  387. And the problem is this. We don't ever

  388. look at the operating system. We think

  389. the apps have gone bad. So we throw

  390. marriages away looking for a new app.

  391. and we throw we throw a job away looking

  392. for a new job as if the apps are the

  393. problem when the truth is it's much

  394. deeper than that. It's the operating

  395. system. It's where I'm putting my faith,

  396. my focus, my trust, my commitment. If I

  397. will get that right, everything else is

  398. going to operate good as well. I can't

  399. have one without the other.

  400. This principle allows every area to to

  401. function. And that's what that's what

  402. first fruits does. When I begin to focus

  403. that God, you get my first, you get my

  404. best, then it begins to change

  405. everything in our life. Here's what I'm

  406. trying to tell you. In 2026, ladies and

  407. gentlemen, as believers, as the church,

  408. choose biblical principles over personal

  409. preferences.

  410. >> Choose God's opinion over yours.

  411. >> Choose his word and his way over your

  412. opinion or over somebody else's.

  413. Stop asking the world what should be

  414. done and not be done and go to God's

  415. word and ask him how should I handle

  416. this situation. This will last forever.

  417. This will produce the right results.

  418. This will give you what you want. This

  419. will never fail. But every other opinion

  420. in this world is fragile and it falls

  421. apart. You got to find something you can

  422. put your weight on. Whether you

  423. understand it or don't, whether you feel

  424. it or whether you don't, whether it's a

  425. Sunday or it's a Thursday, it's going to

  426. work every single time. That's what you

  427. want to build your life on.

  428. >> We've got to make sure that the

  429. operating system is working. Stop living

  430. hoping for blessing in 26

  431. and schedule it.

  432. >> Predecide it that I don't know when it's

  433. going to hit. Oh, baby. but it's going

  434. to be coming because I've already

  435. pre-ordered that thing and it will be

  436. delivered in my life. You can live with

  437. that excitement and an expectation

  438. because the principle of first fruit.

  439. Let's talk let's talk for a minute here

  440. about this this priority. There's a

  441. principle, but let's talk about the

  442. priority or or or the focus of that

  443. first fruit because it gets real

  444. straight. Matthew chapter 6:33. Y'all

  445. know this verse, but I want to show you

  446. firsts and the first principle are

  447. throughout your Bible. Read the first

  448. couple words with me. Ready? But first

  449. be concerned about his kingdom and what

  450. has his approval. Then all these things

  451. will be provided for you.

  452. First

  453. be concerned, focused on do things the

  454. way God wants it done inside his domain

  455. in his kingdom. Then stuff's going to

  456. work for you. Y'all, if you're like I

  457. am, anybody ever tried to skip the first

  458. part and just run straight to the second

  459. part

  460. >> like I'm claiming promises, but the

  461. problem is we're claiming promises while

  462. we're violating principle

  463. >> and those don't work. I can't skip the

  464. first and get to the then because the

  465. then isn't promised until the first is

  466. accomplished. I've got to make sure that

  467. I'm doing my part. God will definitely

  468. do his part, but I got to make sure that

  469. I'm putting God in the prioritization of

  470. my life where he's getting all that I

  471. am. He's priority in my marriage,

  472. priority in my private time, priority in

  473. my business, priority in my finances,

  474. priority in my friendship, priority in

  475. my entertainment, priority in how I

  476. dress, priority on how I deal with

  477. people that are on my last nerve,

  478. priority in all these things.

  479. That's tough. But this is how we

  480. experience then everything will be

  481. provided. We can't claim the then until

  482. we fulfill the first. So, so how do we

  483. execute? H how do we like live out this

  484. stuff in in 26? Well, real quickly,

  485. here's the principle of first fruit for

  486. you starts with your time. Everyone

  487. shout time.

  488. >> Time.

  489. >> Time is the only thing you got. 168

  490. hours a week is what everybody's given.

  491. What are you doing with it?

  492. Everyone doesn't use it the same. Well,

  493. if I have it my way, about 90 of us

  494. going to be spent sleeping. Well, good

  495. for you. Then you you can use it. You

  496. can use it that way. It's all good. I We

  497. all don't get the same out of our hours.

  498. But watch this. When it comes to a first

  499. fruit principle, I want to give the best

  500. thoughts and my first energy to God.

  501. >> That's going to that's going to require

  502. some rearranging

  503. because it doesn't just naturally

  504. happen. Y'all y'all know what we do? We

  505. wake up and before our feet hit the bed,

  506. we've already got a phone checking to

  507. see what life is going to be today. We

  508. we we just grabbing stuff to to to I I I

  509. I just I I want to want to find out who

  510. who text me. I want to see if I got any

  511. DMs. I want to see what's going and and

  512. we just go Can I just help you? Let's

  513. give God the first 15 minutes of our day

  514. so we can enjoy peace for the next 15

  515. hours of that day. How about putting

  516. some God thoughts inside of your mind

  517. the very first thing when you wake up

  518. instead of allowing Instagram to Insta

  519. frame your mind for the rest of the day.

  520. You are made for more than Instagram. I

  521. promise you. And whatever other platform

  522. from your Tik Tok to your Facebook, we

  523. need to upgrade and let God determine my

  524. thought process coming out of bed today

  525. that he's for me and not against me.

  526. That the best is still yet to come. I

  527. need that in my life. You got to give

  528. him your time. Somebody shout time.

  529. >> Time. The second area of this principle

  530. is your talent. Yes, you have some.

  531. Your talents matter. You got to serve

  532. God's kingdom. Serve God's interest with

  533. your superpowers. You are wired with

  534. this, ladies and gentlemen. Use your

  535. talents. Use your skill sets. Use your

  536. education for the kingdom of God. If you

  537. can dance, would you please get up here

  538. and dance for Jesus? If you can sing,

  539. then bring your Do not keep that skill

  540. set locked up back there. Bring it up

  541. here and help us worship. If you can

  542. play an instrument, would you please go

  543. and and join and be a part of this party

  544. and help raise the roof to honor him? If

  545. you love working with kids, we got a

  546. place that you can make radical impact

  547. in the next generation on the way. Why

  548. would you not use some of those skill

  549. sets, that education, that talent to

  550. connect with children? If you're just

  551. nice and you love shaking hands at

  552. Walmart, would you shake hands in the

  553. lobby of Free Life Chapel and hang out

  554. and welcome people when they come on the

  555. parking lot, there are ways that you can

  556. serve right here in this place with your

  557. talent. We know you got it. Use it for

  558. the kingdom. It's a first fruit

  559. principle.

  560. >> Time, talent,

  561. >> treasure.

  562. >> First fruit principle. time, talent,

  563. treasure.

  564. Giving the first part of your income

  565. is important before you pay your Netflix

  566. subscription.

  567. >> Oh, we ain't letting Hulu run out, are

  568. we?

  569. >> No. Paramount, Disney Plus got that

  570. thing on autopay. Can't afford to have

  571. that go down. Not with the kids in the

  572. house. We we we prioritize the things

  573. that are important to us. Yes, sir.

  574. >> Can I encourage you? How about

  575. automating some things that are

  576. important to him?

  577. >> Yes, sir.

  578. >> And I want to bring in my resources and

  579. honor him. If God only gets your

  580. leftovers, then don't be shocked if

  581. you're living in a deficit.

  582. >> I've got to prioritize him. If I'm going

  583. to get his ladies and gentlemen, I love

  584. you enough to tell the truth. This is

  585. not how you win friends and influence

  586. people right here. But this is what I'm

  587. telling you. You can live your life by

  588. this and it will build and it will move

  589. you forward. We've got to get this thing

  590. under under wraps to make sure that the

  591. that the first fruit principle is

  592. operating in all these areas. Time,

  593. talent, treasure. Honor God with that

  594. and watch him honor you back. Sunday,

  595. quite honestly, this day is a is a 3D 3D

  596. first fruits Sunday. Every Sunday has

  597. all of these time, talent, and treasure

  598. in full operation on Sundays. Watch

  599. this. Let me help you. By the way,

  600. Sunday is the first day of the week. So,

  601. I'm not giving him any day. I'm giving

  602. him the first day. I'm prioritizing him

  603. in the beginning. And during that time,

  604. we're going to come in here and we're

  605. going to worship. I'm giving him my time

  606. to worship him. I'm I love that time is

  607. involved on Sundays. And then in your

  608. first day of the week worship on a

  609. Sunday, we've come in and there's people

  610. serving all throughout this building.

  611. That's where they're using their talents

  612. that are building the kingdom of God.

  613. How can I use what I have and who I am

  614. to build your kingdom and make your name

  615. stronger in people's lives? That is time

  616. in operation. That is talent in

  617. operation. And on the first day of the

  618. week, Sundays, we come in this place and

  619. we bring tithe and offering. That's our

  620. treasure. Can I tell you Sundays, the

  621. first day of the week, is literally the

  622. first fruit principle on blast. It is

  623. where time, talent, and treasure are

  624. being displayed through worship,

  625. serving, tithe, and offering. This is

  626. how we live this out. You can know this.

  627. You can live this. You can experience

  628. this. This is not something that you got

  629. to do it on your in a vacuum by yourself

  630. right here on Sundays. You can do this.

  631. This first fruit life declares this

  632. phrase. And I want you to get this in

  633. your spirit. I'm not a slave to the

  634. culture. I'm a citizen of the kingdom.

  635. >> Would you write? Would you would

  636. everyone just just say that with me? Say

  637. it with me. I'm not a slave to the

  638. culture. I'm a citizen of the king. Now,

  639. I want you to say it like you got some

  640. like you got some growl up inside you.

  641. You ready? Here we go. 1 2 3. I'm not a

  642. slave to the culture. I'm a citizen of

  643. the king. Which means we live different.

  644. Everyone doesn't have to understand my

  645. giving. You don't have to understand my

  646. serving. You don't have to understand

  647. why I want to work with children and

  648. help them learn that they don't have to

  649. go down the road that I went down. They

  650. can live better. They can know Jesus

  651. early and avoid the pitfalls in life. We

  652. can do this. I I I want to bring that

  653. message. How can I serve? This is

  654. important stuff. Which leads me to the

  655. first fruit promise.

  656. This f first fruit principle has a

  657. promise. You see, when you and I

  658. participate in first fruits, it's a

  659. power move. Ladies and gentlemen, it's

  660. it's it's a throat punch to culture. It

  661. backs everything up. When first fruits

  662. stepped in, when I prioritize God in my

  663. life, 2016 now has to produce something

  664. for me. It can't stand in the way. Few

  665. weeks ago,

  666. I was researching some new frames for my

  667. glasses. Wanted to see what else is out

  668. there. Find something new out there.

  669. Something funky. Just see what's there.

  670. So, I Googled that thing.

  671. Men's frames glasses. Funky.

  672. What can I tell you? Not only did I get

  673. my little search going on, but every

  674. social media platform that I have

  675. started shooting me stuff about glasses,

  676. frames, funky all. I mean, it was coming

  677. at me left and right. I'm trying to

  678. sleep. Bing. Pick up. What in the world?

  679. The frames like stop it. I mean, it is

  680. everywhere. Amazon stopping. You want

  681. some frames? Like like everybody knew

  682. that I was searching for frames. Would

  683. y'all leave me alone on the frames

  684. thing? My lord. Everybody knew. All I

  685. did was just search it one time. I I I

  686. liked something that I saw. I I Warby

  687. Parker, I like you. That's a cool

  688. friend. And then all of a sudden, bang,

  689. here come the algorithms. I want you to

  690. understand something. The world's

  691. algorithms, they will track what you

  692. like and they will shove more of it in

  693. your face and they will tell you you

  694. can't live without it. But the kingdom,

  695. God's algorithms also track things. But

  696. it tracks your firsts. And when God's

  697. kingdom tracks how you handle the first

  698. sin life, it gives you more of life

  699. because you have prioritized who he is.

  700. You and I can live with the algorithms

  701. of heaven running in our life and

  702. shoving things into our path. You begin

  703. to attract what you respect. You begin

  704. to attract what you honor. It starts

  705. coming at you and all of a sudden you

  706. catch a rhythm of living in a first

  707. fruit mindset. And it becomes so

  708. natural. Well, it's not this hard,

  709. heavy, difficult, in left field idea. It

  710. begins to propel my life forward. And I

  711. begin to wonder how did I live outside

  712. of this to begin with. God is faithful

  713. to his word. And with that, the first

  714. fruit idea, the principle brings a

  715. benefit package with it. And does

  716. anybody like benefit package? Anybody

  717. any like the benefits? That was not a

  718. trick question. That means if you didn't

  719. raise your hand, I'm taking yours right

  720. back. It's all for me. Here's here's an

  721. idea what benefits come with it. There's

  722. a divine direction.

  723. I I would Would it be okay if God became

  724. your GPS system and led you through this

  725. 26 year? Told you which people to avoid,

  726. >> Told you which opportunities to take

  727. advantage of. Yeah. In other words, God

  728. wants to get you out of the culdeac

  729. driving in circles.

  730. I'm really busy but going nowhere.

  731. I'm spending gas but I'm not advancing.

  732. caught in a culde-sac. He He wants to

  733. get you out of the dead ends in life and

  734. get you back on the highway. This is

  735. what he's trying to do. It's the benefit

  736. package of divine direction. Watch.

  737. Exodus chapter 23:1 19. This is the

  738. verse. This sounds a little freaky, a

  739. little weird, but I'm going to explain

  740. it to you. Watch this. Bring the best

  741. up. Bring bring don't give. Bring bring

  742. the best of your first fruits of your

  743. soil to the house of the Lord your God.

  744. Read this. Do not cook a young goat in

  745. its mother's milk. What the heck?

  746. Like, who put that in there?

  747. Somebody hijacked your Bible and wrote

  748. that thing in there cuz that don't fit.

  749. And that is weird.

  750. Just so you know, God thinks it's weird.

  751. Also,

  752. let me explain it to you.

  753. The book of Exodus is written as all of

  754. Israel came out of Egypt.

  755. They were in bondage for over 400 years

  756. in Egypt.

  757. While they were in Egypt, immersed in

  758. that Egyptian culture, paganism was

  759. everywhere.

  760. >> They worshiped everything. The sun, the

  761. moon, the stars, the the the the dirt,

  762. uh the the cockroaches in the dirt, uh

  763. the like you name it. whatever it was,

  764. they're going to worship it. They had

  765. all of these gods everywhere. And Israel

  766. was immersed in that. And watch this.

  767. The way that they worshiped regarding

  768. this, do not boil a young goat in its

  769. mother's milk. They would literally take

  770. a young goat, boil in its mother's milk,

  771. and then take the ashes, the residue,

  772. the stuff that came from it, and scatter

  773. it on the fields, and they believe that

  774. it would produce a greater harvest. It

  775. assured a harvest for the next year. It

  776. blessed all the land. if you did this.

  777. >> So now in context, God's word says,

  778. "Bring the first fruit to me. Honor me

  779. with the first." Even when it's scary,

  780. even when you don't have any assurance

  781. that anything is going to come in, honor

  782. me with the first and bring it to my

  783. house. And while you're at it, do not be

  784. playing with the pagan ideas that you

  785. can reinforce your life and there's

  786. always a backup plan that you need to

  787. run to. put the horoscope down and stop

  788. checking to see if I'm going to bless

  789. your life or not.

  790. Ouch. Oh, I felt that cold breeze come

  791. right back at me in this room. That's

  792. okay. We're going to go ahead and go

  793. here. Stop trusting on your education

  794. that you can depend on all of that. Stop

  795. depending on the government on the White

  796. House is going to cover. Stop it. Stop

  797. it. Stop looking to everything and

  798. everybody. Stop thinking that your job

  799. is going to cover you. Stop thinking

  800. your 401k is all you need. Social

  801. Security. You got it all hemmed in. I

  802. don't need nothing, baby. It takes one

  803. crisis in America and everything goes

  804. like a paperier-mâché doll. It is done

  805. and over. The only thing you can depend

  806. on is God, his word, his promise, his

  807. resume, and you got to build your life

  808. on that right there. It's the only thing

  809. that'll get you through. You should know

  810. this. If you live in Florida, we have

  811. hurricanes.

  812. You can't even depend on the power in

  813. your house.

  814. You better get a generator. You got to

  815. back it up because it will flicker and

  816. it will go. We our power went out a

  817. couple of weeks ago, but not because of

  818. a storm. It just went out. I Oh my god.

  819. I had to go fire the generator up to

  820. keep the refrigerator going.

  821. You can't depend on that Verizon. You

  822. can't depend on anybody to keep you

  823. connected or keep you going. The only

  824. connector. And God said, "Do not be

  825. playing with pagan ideas. Do not try to

  826. get away to hedge in in case I drop you.

  827. I got you, boo. I didn't lie to you. I

  828. told you I got you. Do it my way. You'll

  829. get my results. Don't trust in other

  830. sources. Work hard, but trust God.

  831. >> He goes on in Exodus in in the next

  832. verse, verse 20, here's what he says.

  833. See, I'm sending an angel ahead of you

  834. to guard you along the way and bring you

  835. to the place I have prepared.

  836. Bring the first fruit to me. Don't play

  837. with your pagan ideas that think you got

  838. your own life covered. Stop it. If

  839. you'll bring the first fruit, I'm

  840. sending an angel ahead of you this year.

  841. >> This angel is going to lead you to the

  842. place that I plan for your life. Not

  843. what your grandma thinks you should be

  844. doing.

  845. >> Not what your mom and dad thinks you

  846. should be doing. I've got a plan for

  847. your life. I'm going to lead you. I'm

  848. going to be ahead of you, y'all. When

  849. someone says, I got your back, that's

  850. kind of comforting except for the time

  851. they stick knives in your back and like,

  852. I wish you didn't have my back. I've

  853. been down. But when you got one that's

  854. ahead of you making the way ahead of

  855. you, that's exactly what God's word

  856. says. Bring the first fruit and I'm

  857. dispatching an angel ahead of you. I

  858. will walk ahead of you in 2026 and take

  859. you right where I want you to be. It

  860. sounds good to me, but it gets goodter.

  861. Along with this first fruit principle

  862. also comes provision. God wants to be an

  863. abundant supplier in your life. Proverbs

    Proverbs 3 chapter mention

  864. chapter 3, honor the Lord with your

  865. wealth, with the first fruit of all your

  866. crops. Then your barns will be filled to

  867. overflowing and your vats will brim out

  868. with brim over with new wine. I ain't

  869. got no barns and I ain't got no vat,

  870. pastor. No, but you got a bank account.

  871. I promise you do. And you got some other

  872. things in your life. And God just says,

  873. "I know what you need and I know how to

  874. supply in your life. I know how to care

  875. for my own. He's a provider." Another

  876. one, protection. I love this one, by the

  877. way. This is two verses after I'm

  878. sending an angel ahead of you. Two

  879. verses later, listen what it says. I

  880. will be an enemy to your enemies and

  881. will oppose those who oppose you.

  882. It's like, kiss my grits.

  883. No, no, no, no. Can't touch this. Like,

  884. he's got you down. I'm I'm going to I'm

  885. going to deal with those folks. Do not

  886. slap them. I will deal with them. Do not

  887. go off on them. I got this situation. I

  888. know the coworker situation. I can

  889. handle that. I know who you live next

  890. to, Satan, sister, but I can handle that

  891. situation. I know how to get you through

  892. this. I'm going to deal with this.

  893. God knows what he's doing and how to

  894. provide in your life. I'm going to

  895. remove the enemies. That's why Malachi 3

  896. says he's coming to rebuke the devourer,

  897. that that's coming and stealing and

  898. robbing your increase and your advance.

  899. He says, "I'm going to stop the hidden

  900. leaks. The areas of your life that are

  901. leaking. You're leaking joy. You're

  902. leaking hope. You're leaking resources.

  903. The relationships are going sideways.

  904. I'm going to stop the leaks. I'm going

  905. to put it together. I know how to shut

  906. the mouth of the one that's trying to

  907. eat your life."

  908. It's a part of the package that he

  909. promised. He positions us. This is

  910. amazing. It the first fruit principle

  911. positions your entire life under the

  912. blessing of heaven. Romans 11:1 16.

    Romans 11:1

  913. Listen, I'm almost done. I'm almost

  914. done. If the first fruit is holy, so is

  915. the lump.

  916. And if the root is holy, so are the

  917. branches.

  918. Here's what the Bible is saying. your

  919. first fruit lifestyle before God, time,

  920. talent, treasure, honoring him. He's

  921. saying this, all I'm asking for is the

  922. first fruit. I didn't ask for 100%. I

  923. asked for the first part. And if you'll

  924. give me the first, I'll bless the rest.

  925. He says, the first fruit is

  926. representative of everything that comes

  927. after it. That's why first fruit in the

  928. Hebrew literally means a promise to

  929. come. It's not there yet. You see, this

  930. is the difference between the tithe and

  931. the first fruit. The tithe is given

  932. after you get the paycheck. You bring

  933. him a tenth to say thank you. The first

  934. fruit is given before the paycheck hits

  935. to say, "I trust you and I honor you."

  936. There's a difference in trust. There's a

  937. difference in playing this out in our

  938. life. And he goes on, if I could just

  939. add one bonus part to the benefit

  940. package, and that's this. There's

  941. household blessing coming. Would it be

  942. okay if you like had angels walk in the

  943. hallways of your house this year? Like

  944. just calm the kids. Yeah. All that. Of

  945. course it would. Ezekiel chapter 44 says

    Ezekiel 44 chapter mention

  946. this. You are to give the priest the

  947. first portion of your grain. The first

  948. portion. Read this. As a result, a

  949. blessing will rest on your household.

  950. Ladies and gentlemen, I didn't write

  951. this into your Bible. That's there. This

  952. is why it's important that you have a

  953. Bible that you can study this for

  954. yourself. My God, it's in my Bible, too.

  955. That must mean God means it. Yeah, he's

  956. kind of serious about his word. Do you

  957. know that Passover, Easter, is the

  958. number one most mentioned day in the

  959. Bible? The number two most mentioned day

  960. in the Bible is first fruit.

  961. It is a powerhouse principle

  962. that is to play out in all of our lives.

  963. See this why this why I'm talking about

  964. it being a principle of time, talent,

  965. and treasure. Because first fruits is

  966. not about your finances. It's about your

  967. focus.

  968. all of my life elevated to know him, to

  969. honor him. And it includes how I handle

  970. my resources as well. But it's so much

  971. more than your resources. It's all that

  972. you are.

  973. In the Old Testament, the way this

  974. played out is they brought that first

  975. fruit and they gave it to the priest.

  976. Leviticus 23 says they would give it to

  977. the priest and the priest would take

  978. that first fruit and he would wave it

  979. above his head and pray over it and God

  980. would release blessings on that that the

  981. priest was holding and celebrating and

  982. honoring because they brought the first

  983. of the brand new harvest. It wasn't at

  984. the end of the harvest. It was at the

  985. very beginning. I have no promise that

  986. it's all going to come out. But God, I

  987. trust you that even if all of this dies,

  988. you're going to provide and bless my

  989. life. I'm know I'm good. And they

  990. brought that and they honor God with it.

  991. Today, we're going to give you that

  992. chance to start that process in your

  993. life. Why do I say a process? Because

  994. how you give that is completely up to

  995. you. The Bible doesn't give us a

  996. specific on what that number is and and

  997. what that is. I I will tell you this

  998. though, history and studies in in in in

  999. in in in Judaism in Jesus's day is they

1000. would bring 150th 150th of that harvest

1001. was considered a first fruit. Now 50

1002. it's an interesting number. Well, you

1003. and I we have 52 weeks in our year. And

1004. so for years, more than 25 years, Cindy

1005. and I have been celebrating first fruits

1006. in our home at the beginning of every

1007. year. And we would bring the equivalent

1008. of one week's salary. 152nd is what we

1009. would bring to honor God in the

1010. beginning of the brand new year.

1011. Declaring that the promise is still yet

1012. to come in my life. That benefit package

1013. is on the way. And by the way, not just

1014. our giving. Time and talent is also

1015. connected. We're pursuing you with our

1016. prayer, with our life, our decisions,

1017. our our friend group. We're going hard

1018. towards you. We're going to throat punch

1019. the next year. And we're scheduling,

  1020. we're pre-ordering our blessings to

1021. break loose in this year. That's what

1022. we're going after. But we also initiated

1023. that with a very real substantial thing

1024. that when we gave first fruits, we felt

1025. it leave our life. It was like, dang,

1026. that when I first started giving first

  1027. fruits, I was making $450 a week. $450 a

  1028. week. That was in the 1900s. $450 a

  1029. week. And I couldn't give a full week

1030. salary at that time. That was more than

1031. what we could do. I I That was crazy.

1032. So, we started bringing something and it

1033. began to move forward and we got to the

1034. place that we were bringing one week's

1035. salary, the equivalent of that. Whatever

1036. that looks like for you, I'm I want to

1037. encourage you to do something. I'm not

  1038. saying you've got to bring a full week's

1039. salary. Many of you have been doing this

1040. with us since the beginning of Free Life

1041. because we've been doing it ever since

1042. we started in 2011. And I'm challenging

1043. you. If you're in the place where you

1044. know what, it would be a stretch and it

1045. would bite and it would sting a little

1046. bit, but I want to honor God. Then I'm

1047. going to just challenge you to come on

1048. up and move towards him with something

1049. that you can say, "God, I'm honoring you

1050. in this first fruit offering. I dare you

1051. to test God. I dare you to try him and

1052. see if he was true or if he lied to you

1053. and watch God work in your life."

  1054. There's a business owner that was

1055. sitting in the second in the second

1056. service, sitting right there in the

1057. middle section. He started giving his

1058. his first fruit. His very first first

1059. first fruit was four years ago. He said,

1060. "It's all I have left in the bank and we

1061. were we just launched a business in the

1062. beginning of January and first fruit was

1063. the end of January. Let's just give it."

1064. He and his wife said, "Let's just let's

1065. just try God. Let's just see." Two days

1066. later, he had his first contract that

1067. was over a million dollars hit. And it's

1068. not stopped since then. And he's saying,

1069. "What the heck is going on?" Can I tell

1070. you who's excited about first fruit this

1071. year? That business owner. He's like,

1072. "Can we go right now? We had people

1073. giving first fruit on New Year's Eve.

1074. They were already giving first fruit

1075. because they're excited because they

1076. know what's on the way. What I'm trying

1077. to tell you is not just my opinion. It's

1078. been proven throughout this auditorium.

1079. And if it's new to you, I get it. But

1080. I'm challenging you. Trust and take a

1081. step towards God. I'm showing you in his

  1082. word. There's a podcast that Caleb and I

1083. did on first fruit to lay this out and

1084. teach 35 minutes. You can check it out

1085. on the website. I want you loaded with

  1086. scripture. There's there's there's

1087. little brochures that are loaded with

1088. scripture to show you this principle

1089. because I don't want you ignorant in

1090. your giving. I want you to feel, man,

1091. this is what God's word says. Let's go.

1092. We want to equip you, educate you that

1093. you can be strong, and I trust God's

1094. word. It's true. It'll change your life.
