  1. So, you can turn in your Bibles to Genesis chapter 1.

    Genesis 1 chapter mention

  2. Taking it to the beginning. We did that last week.

  3. Genesis chapter 1 as we continue our series called the basics and

    Genesis 1 chapter mention

  4. we really are keeping it basic through this series not, not

  5. getting complicated. Now getting fancy, we're not

  6. doing any biblical gymnastics up in here. we're just sticking

  7. with kindergarten sticking, with the ABCs we've talked about Now,

  8. I don't know if I can name them. All better.

  9. We got a few and lucky. And the hopper talk about Sunday

  10. worship. We've talked about, we did a

  11. sermon on faith. We did a sermon on the kingdom

  12. of God and the mission of God that was last week.

  13. What else are we done? somebody's got their notes, and

  14. they're going to be able to just I don't think so.

  15. No, that was then. Faith Message though.

  16. We're talking about receiving by faith.

  17. I figured somebody would have their notebook and be like, I'm

  18. down. I'm all done more than three

  19. last week was the mission of God.

  20. We laughing at. So today for the basics, we're

  21. doing male and female. Can't get much more basic.

  22. So we're in Genesis chapter 1. I want to read to you from verse

    Genesis 1 chapter mention

  23. 27 and we're also going to go to Genesis chapter 2.

    Genesis 2 chapter mention

  24. So we'll be here for a while. So God created, man in his own

  25. image. In the image of God, he created

  26. him male and female he created them.

  27. So right away in Genesis we see the Lord's design.

  28. You know when you read Genesis and when you talk about a sermon

  29. like this it can feel what's the point.

  30. This is so obvious, this is so basic.

  31. Well, I'm sure for thousands of years in church history, they

  32. didn't they probably didn't see the value of y.

  33. The Lord would have said this in the word.

  34. Why did he need to say male and female he created them.

  35. But we're of course in this moment in the day and age we

  36. live in. We're very thankful that the

  37. Lord was very plain and very clear with Distinctions that he

  38. made. Why?

  39. Because we always want what what his ideal is and if the world

  40. has something different to offer, well, if we don't have

  41. the word of God to stand on, then it we might consider that

  42. an area where we have freedom and that might genuinely be

  43. okay, except that the word of God has a distinction.

  44. We can generally assume that we are okay.

  45. That we do have freedom, the body of Christ has lots of

  46. Freedom, the world has been given lots of freedom but there,

  47. but there. Our perimeters, the Lord has

  48. given us a box. He says, you'll do.

  49. These are the perimeters, you can do anything in here, but if

  50. you leave this box, it's called sin.

  51. It's sin against God. It's unacceptable.

  52. So, this bought, well, I don't want to stay in a box, I want

  53. true Freedom. Now, this is true Freedom.

  54. This is what the best looks like outside of the box brings

  55. catastrophe outside of the box brings damage.

  56. So that's not actually Freedom. It's inside where you can bring

  57. freedom. So we understand this very

  58. quickly and very easily when we think about Out our children, or

  59. for those of us who don't have children yet, we know that when

  60. we were children, our parents provided perimeters and

  61. parameters because of their love and they didn't let us walk out

  62. into the highway and say, I want to be a free kid.

  63. I'm gonna do whatever I want, well, but I love you.

  64. So I'm not gonna like you walk into the road.

  65. This is the same way that the Lord sees all of his children.

  66. Well, I want to do whatever I want.

  67. Well, I understand that's a normal desire.

  68. That's your flesh that your selfishness, and that's your

  69. tendency. But as your heavenly father, I

  70. have commands And expectations to say you need to do what I

  71. want. Well, that's selfish of you.

  72. Well, you would think so again in your immaturity, but it's

  73. actually for your good as well. So, it does honor me because

  74. that's a priority, but it's also actually what's best for you?

  75. I'm not taking something from you.

  76. I'm giving something to you. Well, I don't see it that way.

  77. Spoken like a child spoken, like a sinner spoken, like a human.

  78. But me being God. And you being not God.

  79. I will direct and I will Define what the There's are so the Lord

  80. created them male and female. We see in creation.

  81. God loves making distinctions. He loves it.

  82. God is so big. He's so vast.

  83. He's so infinite. He had to make all of this.

  84. He had to make the varieties that he made.

  85. He had to go so far and so far beyond some people get hung up

  86. on things like the the expanse of the universe.

  87. Like but if it's all just doing this, tiny little blue dot cold

  88. Earth and why even this and why even that and Some of those

  89. things are out of our jurisdiction but also if you can

  90. be humble enough to answer it like a sheep, who knows how to

  91. listen to The Shepherd. You can just recognize because

  92. he's God because he's big and because he's creative and

  93. because he wants distinctions because he wants black holes to

  94. suck in light, and he wants a son to create the brightness.

  95. He wants all of these things, he made them, he made these

  96. distinctions, he made deserts, and he made jungles, he made

  97. mountains, and he made valleys, he made glaciers and he made

  98. desert. He made birds that fly, and he

  99. made fish that swim. He made the cheetah that Sprints

  100. and he made the slug that crawls.

  101. He made man and his strength. He made woman in her beauty, and

  102. it all brings him glory, and it's all perfect for us, it's

  103. perfect. There's no Brokenness, There's

  104. no distinction. Well, I feel differently about

  105. it, right? Spoken like a human, but when we

  106. can submit ourselves, and when we bring ourselves back under

  107. his covering, that's where the blessings are again.

  108. We see this with our Children, we understand parents.

  109. You love your kids, so you do what's best for them?

  110. It's not always the thing that they would choose, but it's

  111. always the thing that you believe, that's best for them.

  112. So, our maleness and our femaleness is God's design and

  113. it goes from the visible body parts, the obvious things right

  114. from the boy parts and girl parts all the way down to our

  115. invisible chromosomes. But it goes further, it goes all

  116. the way into our invisible Souls.

  117. So Binary design of male and female is not something that we

  118. can miss. It's not something that's absent

  119. from the scripture. All throughout the word of God,

  120. male and female distinctions are made the Bible clearly defines

  121. God as being male, but he doesn't make a spectrum of

  122. gender. Regardless of what anyone else

  123. may say? Well, how do you know?

  124. Well, because we trust the word of God.

  125. So, these conversations when we think about it in culture and

  126. today, I don't want to just be a preaching to the choir message.

  127. Just like we prayed at the beginning, this is not.

  128. Not a yeah. Look at them.

  129. Yeah, they are they definitely are in Rebellion.

  130. There's no question about that, but that's what the world does.

  131. If you don't know God, you hate God.

  132. You are Godless, you're going to live in Rebellion to him.

  133. Well, what's the solution? Well, the solution is the

  134. gospel. The solution is the word of God,

  135. telling people the truth, why? Well, because the word of God is

  136. sharper than any two-edged sword.

  137. It's the very thing that can cut them.

  138. Open for their good. It's the surgery.

  139. It's not the sword that can just stab him to kill.

  140. But think of it more as the scalpel that can open them up

  141. and then remove their Stony heart and put in the heart of

  142. Flesh that they God wants to put in so that people would be

  143. softened and see God's goodness. So flip over to Genesis chapter

    Genesis 2 chapter mention

  144. 2. Now we're going to read from

  145. Verse 18 through 24. Genesis 1 gives the account of

  146. Creation in Genesis 2. Gives it a different model.

  147. Gives it a different way as Moses continued to right here.

  148. Genesis 2:18. Then the Lord God said, it is

    Genesis 2:18

  149. not good that the man should be alone.

  150. I will make a helper fit for him.

  151. Now, out of the ground, the Lord God had formed every beast of

  152. the field and every bird of the heavens and brought them to the

  153. man, to see what he would call them.

  154. And whatever the man called every living creature.

  155. That was its name. The man gave names to all

  156. livestock and to the birds of the heavens and to every beast

  157. of the field. But for Adam, there was not

  158. found. Found a helper fit for him.

  159. So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man and

  160. while he slept, he took one of his ribs and closed up its place

  161. with flesh and the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man

  162. he made into a woman and brought her to the man.

  163. Then the man said this at last is bone of my bones and Flesh of

  164. My Flesh. She shall be called woman

  165. because she was taken out of Of man, therefore a man shall

  166. leave. His father and mother his male

  167. and female and hold fast to his wife and they shall become one

  168. flesh. And the man, and his wife were

  169. both naked, and they were not ashamed.

  170. Back up to verse 18, it's not good for man to be alone.

  171. God said everything that was he had made was good, he did this.

  172. It says and he said it was very good, he did this and it was

  173. good, he did this and it was good.

  174. Then at the end, it was very good and then we have the first

  175. not good. But this is weird because God

  176. made everything and he calls everything good but he found

  177. something. He says this isn't good, what's

  178. not good? It's not good.

  179. That man should be alone. Why is it not good for man to be

  180. alone because God had plans like we learned last week?

  181. God had plans to expand and to multiply for starters.

  182. Adam could not expand and multiply by himself, and because

  183. Adam also needed a companion. Adam needed his counterpart.

  184. He needed his compliment. Loneliness is not good.

  185. This is why the most severe punishment that we can give to

  186. someone to keep them alive. Anyway, is solitary confinement.

  187. This guy's already in prison. We want to punish him even more.

  188. How can we punish him even more? Let's make him go be alone.

  189. Let's lock him up in. In isolation, why?

  190. Because it's not good for man to be alone.

  191. So, let's put him in isolation where he can suffer even more

  192. greatly. And God brings everything to

  193. Adam to let him. Look, I'll name the animals,

  194. I'll name the animals, but a companion.

  195. A helper wasn't found fit for him.

  196. The dog that was as close as they could get me this hill.

  197. This thing will obey this thing will fetch my slippers.

  198. This guy who go get the newspaper each morning.

  199. You know, I can train him to sit and come and go.

  200. I like this guy but he's still Still not quite right?

  201. It's still not, it's still not what I'm looking for, Lord.

  202. So he brings the woman to him. So why else is it not good for

  203. man to be alone because the creation itself needed Eve's

  204. gifts and Eve's calling as a woman because Adam and Eve are

  205. different, not just because of their genitalia.

  206. Although their genitalia is the most obvious and first clue,

  207. their nakedness would have shown very See Clearly who was who and

  208. what was what one being more muscular and hard-won, being

  209. more feminine and curvy and soft.

  210. Again, this is the Lord's, good distinctions that he loves to

  211. make and he calls it very good. But the world needed Eve's

  212. gifting and calling as she and Adam would fill and subdue the

  213. Earth together. What else do we see Happening

  214. Here? We see the issue of headship

  215. being established immediately. We see headship of husband and

  216. submission of wife being made. Plain from the very beginning.

  217. How so who named Adam who gave adam is named God, did who named

  218. the animals Adam did who named Eve Adam did so naming in the

  219. word of God always is a show of headship to name.

  220. Someone who names a baby who named who named Asher his

  221. parents biblically throughout history.

  222. It's a very new thing for actually Chris.

  223. He's joking but it's a very new thing.

  224. When mama's name the baby all throughout human history.

  225. Fathers have named the children. This has just been the way y so

  226. we'll because the husband is the head of his wife.

  227. Well, I'm a powerful woman. I'll name my baby if I want to

  228. well, spoken like a very modern American woman, but at the same

  229. time not the most biblical perspective.

  230. This is not a hard case for you. Have the father has to name the

  231. child but the it's funny how the distinction is flipped entirely

  232. 180, right? So it used to historically be

  233. although it wasn't a Biblical command for the father to name,

  234. the child it was tradition. But now in the name of equality,

  235. how do we get equal? What would equal means 50/50

  236. right now? No equal means me do it also

  237. it's that's hypocrisy and nonsense of course.

  238. But what do we see? We see headship and submission

  239. taking place. What are we talking about today?

  240. We're talking about the basics male and female.

  241. What does it mean to be male? What does it mean to be female?

  242. What is the point of the male? What is the point of the female?

  243. But in our day and age in particularly in the month of

  244. June? I saw fit and the Lord saw fit

  245. for us to talk about the distinctions of just the fact

  246. that the Lord made them male and female.

  247. There's a lot more than we could say.

  248. That we won't have time to get into today.

  249. We won't get into the essence of what is a man?

  250. We won't get into the essence, fully of what is a woman.

  251. But we are starting with the most obvious statements that

  252. there is a man, and there is a woman.

  253. So God, let's keep looking here. God takes a rib.

  254. Why would God take a rib? Everything he does is on

  255. purpose. Everything he does is with

  256. distinction. Nothing is just add.

  257. Which we do. We got to make stuff happen.

  258. Do we need a ribeye? We need this all.

  259. We need that. We just keep winging it nothing.

  260. God is doing in. In is by accident.

  261. It's all all of our Doctrine comes from Genesis Genesis, we

  262. said in seed form. It's not fully grown yet.

  263. It's just a seed. Do you really have a doctrine of

  264. headship just from that? Yeah.

  265. How do you know? Well, because the New Testament

  266. makes reference back to Creation.

  267. This is where all the New Testament Arguments for headship

  268. and submission are made not because well consider their

  269. cultural principles. Now it's always back in

  270. creation. So we know how to interpret the

  271. Bible from the Bible but God takes a rib.

  272. So woman came out of man, right but woman and man are not the

  273. same but woman came out of manso was there.

  274. I think there's this Theory where Adam was just this

  275. androgynous creature who was neither male nor female, the

  276. only problem with that is the Bible disagrees, if the Bible

  277. didn't make it And if the Bible made it sound like that, then I

  278. would go with that because that's what the Bible says.

  279. But remember this is always the authority church as

  280. conversations happen as confusion continues to mount in

  281. our world, in our society. You don't have to have all of

  282. the answers, you just have to trust the word of God.

  283. You just have to have faith in God's word.

  284. This is where conversations will always go next.

  285. The word of God is ultimately the thing that always gets

  286. attacked. So people will often hide behind

  287. their lies. They'll pretend that they just

  288. see it differently. They'll pretend that they just

  289. feel a little bit differently but as you press the issue as

  290. you continue to come back to lovingly but as you come back to

  291. well the Bible clearly states, then what comes under attack is

  292. the Bible itself. Well that was written by because

  293. they've seen like The DaVinci Code or something and they think

  294. their biblical experts or You know, they've watched something

  295. on the History Channel and they know, and they think that aliens

  296. wrote, the Bible, or whatever it may be, or I grew up in the

  297. church and my daddy was a pastor or I was a pastor, don't listen

  298. to a backslider, do not take your theology, your advice and

  299. how to follow King, Jesus from a backslider OD saying I'm saying

  300. you should love them but you should not listen to them and

  301. receive instruction from them. Again, that's basic right?

  302. This isn't like don't take Financial advice from a broke

  303. person, you know. I mean this isn't hard stuff.

  304. So, Adam God takes the rib out of Adam.

  305. So woman came out of man, but she is still distinct from man

  306. and now, men come from women. So the first in the first place,

  307. woman comes out of man. This is all in 1st Corinthians

  308. 11 as well. The first woman comes out of man

  309. and now man come out of women but there are still distinct

  310. from women so God chooses a rib. Would it ribs do with these?

  311. What is the rib cage? Doing?

  312. The ribs are protecting our heart.

  313. The ribs are protecting our other.

  314. Most vital life-giving organs. This is to show something about

  315. Eve. This is to show what part of

  316. these purpose is going to be. When I going to go fully into it

  317. today but it's to give you the distinctions is to show you the

  318. differences. She has access in that she

  319. didn't have before that. No one had before.

  320. Why? Because she's close to Adams

  321. heart. This is what a wife is to be to

  322. her husband. This is how a husband is

  323. supposed to cherish his wife. So already right here in these

  324. first few verses is there that much there?

  325. Oh, absolutely. How do you know?

  326. Well, because in the New Testament, these very teachings

  327. are laid out and made plain For Better or Worse.

  328. Eve has access and her husband wives For Better or Worse.

  329. You have, you have this closed access to your husband's heart,

  330. you can impact him, you do affect him, he is your head

  331. whether or not you believe that or like that he is that husband,

  332. she is close to your heart and she can't be separated from your

  333. heart for better or worse, whether or not you honor her

  334. appropriately. This is the way the Lord has

  335. made to to become one so we are connected.

  336. To one another, but we are still distinct from one another.

  337. Adam is the head of Eve. A husband is the authority over

  338. his wife, and he is to love her and care for her, like his own

  339. bones parents with their baby, that came from their bodies.

  340. The way that they love that baby.

  341. This is a husband's love and care for his wife is that same

  342. picture, the way parents look at their newborn baby.

  343. Go look what we've made. This is amazing.

  344. Look what we've done, the the love, the devotion, the

  345. instantaneous bond that happens. This is what the Lord, the

  346. picture he has. For a husband to say, this is

  347. how I want you to care. Or cherish and love your wife.

  348. Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast

  349. or stay with or connect to and keep close to his wife.

  350. It's the idea of the man pulling his wife in clothes covering

  351. protecting blessing healing cherishing.

  352. Why? Because she's a part of me.

  353. Just like the parents were that baby?

  354. What will the parents do? What will they not do to protect

  355. their baby parents? What would you not do for your

  356. kids? There's nothing that you

  357. wouldn't do. Well, this is the same thing

  358. that's required of husbands. Well, I'll do anything for my

  359. kids but not for my wife. The Lord, the Lord doesn't make

  360. room for that. The this is what headship looks

  361. like. This is what it means to be.

  362. And this is why the scripture makes it plain in First

  363. Corinthians 11. Christ is the head of man.

  364. Man, is the head. A woman.

  365. So this headship actually implies responsibility and of

  366. course, who's the head of children with parents, are

  367. husband, and wife. Father, and mother are the heads

  368. of the children. They shall become one.

  369. Flesh Genesis keeps telling us here, one flesh, but still

  370. distinct May own female. So the Lord does create this

  371. physical the spiritual, in this emotional Unity, they become one

  372. flesh. This is through.

  373. What happens in the marriage bed, this is through the

  374. intimacy that the Lord intended, that spiritual that physical,

  375. and that emotional Act of a husband and wife, where they

  376. come together when a man goes into the woman, all this part of

  377. the Lord's design, all this to keep showing, but they're still

  378. not to, there's still one and they're still to our culture and

  379. In keeps distorting this. And this is the message that

  380. we're hearing particularly again, in the month of June,

  381. where the world is celebrating their sin, where their glorying

  382. in things that they should be ashamed of where they're raising

  383. the middle finger up to God and Rebellion.

  384. They use phrases, they steal our own language.

  385. They say things like Love Is Love.

  386. And they say things that they're arguing and pretending to have

  387. some clarity and pretending to have some revelation.

  388. But it's it's nonsense. It's a lie.

  389. Hebrews 13:4 specifically talking about marriage, let the

    Hebrews 13:4

  390. marriage be held in honor among all What is marriage.

  391. Well, marriage is what the Bible says, marriage is it was what

  392. the Lord first created. It was a man and a woman one,

  393. man, and one woman that's what marriage is Well I think

  394. marriage is this where the Supreme Court voted on

  395. marriages? That there is a court that is

  396. more Supreme than the Supreme Court.

  397. So these nine human beings may have voted one thing and it

  398. didn't change the law of God. He didn't suddenly cater to our

  399. whims and our beliefs and our flexibility Let marriage be held

  400. in honor among all and let the marriage bed, be undefiled, why

  401. for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.

  402. So what does that tell us? It tells us that there is such a

  403. thing as being sexually immoral. There is the world says, there

  404. is no such thing as sexual immorality.

  405. Well, I know a person who's like this and they're really nice.

  406. Hang on, don't get it confused. Don't get it twisted and this is

  407. where the appeal to emotion happens.

  408. If you ever Of something called a logical fallacy logical,

  409. fallacy, a logical fallacy would be one example of a logical

  410. fallacy would be what's called an appeal to emotion.

  411. So rather than handling the content of the conversation, the

  412. content of the argument itself, I see it one way, Chris sees it

  413. another way and I'm saying, hey Chris God teaches this and Chris

  414. says well, You just hate someone so I'm like, hang on a second.

  415. Chris just isn't it now, Chris is now making an appeal to

  416. emotion. Chris is made a mistake in the

  417. argument, he's using a logical fallacy.

  418. Now, if in my immaturity and my lack of wisdom, I may follow him

  419. down this Rabbit Trail and then we both get lost forever and we

  420. never returned back to the subject.

  421. Many are guilty of that, you may start off with well.

  422. The Lord says this, and then a person instantly in our culture

  423. makes an appeal to emotion. Why are you so blank?

  424. A phobic, why are you so? Transphobic, why are you so

  425. homophobic? Why are you so whatever phobic,

  426. why are you so racist? Why are you so whatever?

  427. They're instantly trying to knock you off your heels.

  428. They're being as wise as a serpent.

  429. They're not being as harmless as a dove though.

  430. Christians often make the mistake only of being as

  431. harmless as a dove. But Jesus didn't come.

  432. And it's only to be as harmless as a dove.

  433. He commanded you to be as wise as a serpent.

  434. So that is to be able to recognize what's happening and

  435. to not be a coward and to not be bullied by someone who is

  436. telling you You're a bully. This is the hypocrisy of the

  437. satanic mind. This is the hypocrisy or what

  438. are you calling these people? Satanic?

  439. Most definitely. Yes.

  440. Let there be no confusion there. That doesn't mean that they all

  441. worship Satan. But it means that people who

  442. teach these things. People who teach that male and

  443. female can switch people who teach that male can become

  444. female people who are rejoicing and sins that God calls an

  445. Abomination, we are to love them because God loves them.

  446. And loving people, distinctly means telling people the truth

  447. just like Jesus did and just like the word of God does why?

  448. Well, because God will judge the immoral and that God will judge

  449. the sexually. Immoral, do we want these people

  450. to be judged? They're standing in the highway,

  451. the truck is coming. We're telling them to get out of

  452. the road because that judgment truck will destroy them and I

  453. believe in hell and I know that people suffer and burn forever

  454. and ever. Lie under the wrath of God, but

  455. they don't have to. So when they call me a hateful

  456. bigot, I can't turn away just because they're spinning the

  457. script and flipping things on me, I have to actually love them

  458. past it just like I have to love when I had two year olds and

  459. they would throw a fit and they want to get their car seat.

  460. I didn't just go, you know what he thinks.

  461. I'm being a mean Daddy right now.

  462. So I don't want to cause any trauma here.

  463. I don't want to cause any damage, you know, he's been hurt

  464. so many times. So many people in his life, he

  465. put him in a car seat. And here I am.

  466. Another guy just stuffing this child into a car seat.

  467. I need to be compassionate. Let me hear his story.

  468. Hey two-year-old tell me your story.

  469. This is the nonsense that the church uses nowadays.

  470. There are famous famous famous pastors, who when they are asked

  471. specifically. Now, in public pastors, who have

  472. very big platforms, they're asked specifically.

  473. Because this is what the world wants to do.

  474. They want to pin you down on. Do you believe the Bible?

  475. Because then they want to instantly label.

  476. You a hateful bigoted and homophobe and all these other

  477. things. So, these pastors get asked

  478. these questions all the time. Famous artist, I watch multiple

  479. videos this week, they just grieve my heart.

  480. They said so. So do you believe homosexuality

  481. is a sin? And instead of just just say,

  482. with the book says, like, you didn't invent this yourself,

  483. bro. You don't have to stand on your

  484. own two feet, you're standing on the scripture.

  485. You didn't invent it and you're doing this out of love, but

  486. because these pastors don't love people and they love themselves

  487. and their own platforms or because Christians don't love

  488. people enough and because they love themselves and their own

  489. reputation. And because they're worried

  490. about being canceled, and they're worried about their

  491. losing their job. And the worry about all these

  492. things that we worry about instead of faithfulness to God,

  493. well, I just think we ought to stick with the gospel.

  494. This is the gospel. This is the gospel.

  495. Well, I feel like we ought to just tell people Jesus loves

  496. them, but that's not the whole gospel.

  497. The gospel is Christ died for your, what for your sins.

  498. The problem with the world that we live in is no one.

  499. Has any Sims No one has any sins.

  500. You hateful, bigoted Christian, how dare you?

  501. I'm not a sinner. God loves me.

  502. Whoa. Whoa, do you see the switch?

  503. We just made their weight. I'm not a sinner.

  504. God loves me. Hang on a second.

  505. You can be a sinner and still be loved by God your flippant, your

  506. wise as a serpent, very crafty, very crafty, very manipulative

  507. but not harmless. but as long as you engage with people and

  508. expecting them to be reasonable and kind and fair and you don't

  509. stand on the logic of the word of God, you'll be confused.

  510. As long as you don't remember, the basics of male and female

  511. you'll be confused. The church has to fight where

  512. the fight is. So another way that the world

  513. argues against this and other way, that even Christians would

  514. argue against a sermon like this is, they would say things like

  515. John Michael. I don't think we should be

  516. political. That doesn't make any sense.

  517. I'm not being political. Well, yeah, these are political

  518. issues. What does that mean?

  519. What does that mean? If you would ask someone about,

  520. what do you mean? It's political.

  521. I can't help that these things, make their way into law and

  522. courts, like, but I'm not allowed to just stay out of it.

  523. Am I allowed to talk about the murder of infant's of unborn

  524. babies? Know, that's political.

  525. Okay. Am I allowed to talk about the

  526. grave sin of Sodomy and how it's spreading through our country

  527. and being promoted and being pushed and how children or

  528. having surgeries to mutilate their bodies and being lied to.

  529. And being told that they can be something that they can't be and

  530. that they will never be. Yeah.

  531. You can't talk about that because that's political.

  532. Okay. Am I allowed to talk about

  533. murder? Well, yes.

  534. As long as the person has been born, okay, but if that becomes

  535. political will live in, not be allowed to talk about it, do

  536. you? Can talk about its nonsense.

  537. You can't allow a broken world to make the rules.

  538. Stop pretending that they're acting reasonable, because

  539. they're not Have have some courage to speak the truth in

  540. love. Why are we doing these things?

  541. Because we love people because God loves people and because

  542. love, always tells the truth because Jesus died for people's

  543. sins, these truths are self-evident.

  544. Well then why aren't people admitting it?

  545. Let's see what the Bible says. Go to Romans chapter 1.

    Romans 1 chapter mention

  546. Matthew Mark, Luke John acts Romans.

  547. God made them male and female. Jesus reiterated this by the

  548. way. So if anybody ever tells you you

  549. know again people in their ignorance.

  550. Some people they will say Jesus was all about love and love is

  551. Love Again. A nonsensical statement that you

  552. know, accomplishes what they wanted to accomplish because

  553. they're able to say Love Is Love what they mean is.

  554. If I love someone I love someone if I love something, I love

  555. something. Well, that's true.

  556. I can't argue with you there. That was never my Arguments

  557. begin with argument is hey, sin is bad.

  558. I'm not saying love isn't love. I'm saying sin is bad and our

  559. goal as the church to clarify. Again is not to just to get

  560. people to stop sinning, our goal, very much, is to see

  561. people be born again. So for the homosexuals that I

  562. know or the, or the people who are living as the opposite

  563. gender from what, the Lord created them to be my goal for

  564. them is to not just get them to switch back.

  565. So You know, for the guy that I know who says he's now a woman,

  566. my desire and love for him is not to just get him to come back

  567. and say I'm a man. Again, we still going to hell,

  568. why? Because he's a sinner, and he

  569. doesn't have the blood of Jesus. So that's that is not the thing.

  570. We're after, you know, for the people that I know who curse all

  571. the time, and not just like, hey, I just want Frank to stop

  572. cussing and if I could just get him to stop cussing.

  573. Okay, well, Frank will go to hell without cursing now.

  574. So obviously we still want people to Is formed.

  575. But if people's hearts are so hardened that they won't

  576. acknowledge and recognize sin, then I'm not doing them any

  577. good, but the world will use this line.

  578. They'll say Jesus didn't say anything about blank.

  579. They'll Jesus didn't say anything about whatever I shall

  580. go there really quick, just to show you.

  581. You stay where you're at. In Romans 1, Matthew 19.

  582. They're asking Jesus about divorce.

  583. Jesus quotes Genesis, he answered.

  584. Have you not read that? He who created them from the

  585. beginning, made them male and female, okay, so now you have

  586. Jesus even though we know we don't have to have Jesus talked

  587. about every single thing when Jesus never said, anything about

  588. cannibalism so Checkmate, I'll do whatever I want.

  589. Well, you know, that's foolish nonsense but Jesus did talk

  590. about marriage. He made them male and female and

  591. said, therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and

  592. hold fast to his wife and the two shall become one flesh.

  593. So they are no longer two, but one flesh.

  594. Therefore what God has joined together.

  595. Let no man separate. Okay.

  596. Jesus just affirmed marriage of man woman.

  597. So again, that that Jesus didn't say anything about

  598. homosexuality. Yes, he did.

  599. He just did. He didn't say a lot of things

  600. about a lot of things because these truths are self-evident

  601. Romans chapter 1. I'll prove it to you.

    Romans 1 chapter mention

  602. Romans 1:18. for the wrath of God is revealed from Heaven

    Romans 1:18

  603. against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who by

  604. their unrighteousness suppress the truth, This is the primary

  605. tactic that I am observing right now of Satan's work.

  606. He is suppressing the truth hating the truth, I watch the

  607. documentary the other night it's called what is a woman?

  608. It came out earlier this month and it's a guy going around and

  609. he's just asking he's asking people what is a woman and no

  610. one will Define it even when he's asking women, who clearly

  611. know that there are women, so he's not just asking trans

  612. people. He goes up.

  613. Like a mother and an aunt and the two daughters.

  614. And these are just like normal looking women.

  615. And he, and they're at the women's March and he goes, hey,

  616. I'm just here at the women's March yet.

  617. What is a woman? And they all just kind of smile.

  618. Look at each other. What are they doing in that

  619. moment? They are suppressing the truth.

  620. Why? Because they know, they know

  621. what the answer is, they know, it's not complicated.

  622. The littlest children in this room, know what a woman is, but

  623. they're suppressing the truth. Why?

  624. Because they hate God, this isn't this isn't hard.

  625. They loved the darkness rather than the light.

  626. What are we supposed to do about that?

  627. Well, we continue to bring in the light, well, with what hope

  628. with the hope that the word of God will come.

  629. Them to the heart and that they will use that moment of Faith to

  630. repent. They will get to cast their own

  631. vote on what they do with it, but we're responsible to be

  632. faithful. What is a woman?

  633. And no one would answer. And then of course he goes to

  634. the more ridiculous people as well.

  635. The professor of gender studies, gender studies, you would think

  636. the gender studies Professor has a definition for the woman,

  637. right? The gender studies Professor was

  638. the absolute worst in the whole documentary.

  639. He absolutely refused to answer and often times throughout the

  640. documentary, people would give the answer when he would say,

  641. what is a woman? They would say a woman.

  642. Is anyone who identifies as a woman, you can't use a

  643. definition. You can't use the word to define

  644. the word. This is a rule for defining

  645. things, everybody. What's a TV?

  646. Well, a TV is a TV, folks. Jamychal.

  647. You didn't aunt. That's circular reasoning.

  648. You didn't answer. What a TV is, I have to Define

  649. TV without using the word TV. A TV is this flat surface box

  650. thing, that brings images. And shows and entertainment and

  651. color and light and sound to you, okay, I've defined TV,

  652. maybe a poor definition probably could have done better there but

  653. you get the rough idea but all throughout the documentary

  654. people suppress the truth. You see them pause there they're

  655. ready to answer but they're like oh wait it's not 20 years ago.

  656. So now I have to pretend that a woman is and then they, as they

  657. work through the lies in their mind and then mental gymnastics,

  658. you see them start to well, you know, woman can be anything.

  659. He said this is a bearded man. He's a, can I be a woman that

  660. like if you think you are, and they all kind of chuckle at the

  661. absurdity coming out of their own mouths and they're

  662. realizing, we really are idiots. We really are that far gone.

  663. It Grieves me a grieve me. This whole, the whole thing

  664. grieve. Me, me and Natalie watched it.

  665. It just grieve me now, it encourages me to remember that.

  666. These are extreme minorities, but it Grieves me at the

  667. traction that is being gained and it reminds me that the

  668. church has been silent. And it's been the church is

  669. niceness, and it's been the church's harmless as a dove -

  670. And not the wise as a serpent - that has allowed the world to

  671. get to where the world has gotten.

  672. We are the salt of the earth we have not preserved the Earth

  673. from his rot. We are the light of the world we

  674. have not Shine the Light on the darkness and we've been told

  675. that there's only two options that you have to be either wise

  676. as a serpent or or as harmless as a dove.

  677. And Jesus commanded both and wise as a serpent and harmless

  678. as a dove. Now, the lies come whenever, the

  679. people start to tell us, you're harming me now, you being a

  680. tender conscience, Christian, and that moment will have to be

  681. careful, not to believe. Another lie, you're harming me

  682. with what you're saying. No, you're suppressing the

  683. truth. I love you and God loves you,

  684. but you're suppressing the truth.

  685. And this is the tactic that Satan is used against the church

  686. to silent the church because the church is compassionate.

  687. We know that we love these people o people you're a

  688. homophobe and as a tender conscience Christian I go my

  689. goodness am I I think hateful and as they fall to pieces, or

  690. they cry or they say, you won't use my pronoun.

  691. I'm like, maybe I should I do that.

  692. I can't believe you won't come to our wedding.

  693. Should I go to their wedding? And we start to wrestle with

  694. these things. Go back to the book fear God.

  695. And not, man, these people are suppressing the truth.

  696. How do you know? Because he said, so, what if

  697. they rage screaming in your face that they're not suppressing the

  698. truth? Let Mandy found a liar and like,

  699. God be found true for the wrath of God is revealed from Heaven

  700. against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who by

  701. their unrighteousness suppress the truth for what can be known

  702. about God is plain to them. Meditate on that word.

  703. Y'all meditate on that verse Christian what can be known

  704. about God is plain to all of us. The reason we can't speak with

  705. conviction is because we actually don't believe the

  706. Bible. And I don't believe God.

  707. If I've prayed, I've tried, I've done this.

  708. I've done that. I've done this under that.

  709. Do you believe them? Do you believe God's word?

  710. What can be known about God is plain to them?

  711. It's plain to them. Well I don't feel like it's

  712. playing to me. Hey man, will come on over.

  713. Like let's spend some time open in the Bible together and I will

  714. spend time in my living room. I like, I want to help you.

  715. I want to bless you. I just want to open the word of

  716. God, and I believe that the Lord is going to bring light to you.

  717. God loves you. He really does care about you, I

  718. care about you. But let's turn to the scriptures

  719. together because this is where light comes from.

  720. I don't believe that I've saw the History Channel.

  721. One time about the Bots, suppressing, the truth

  722. suppressing, the truth suppressing, the truth, why?

  723. Because their deeds are Arc and they don't want the light to

  724. shine on them. Who said that Jesus did.

  725. That's what Jesus said. Right after the most famous

  726. verse in the whole Bible. Is that's what he said.

  727. People won't come into the light.

  728. Why not? Jesus?

  729. Because their deeds are dark. Their deeds are evil and they

  730. don't want them to be exposed. Now this is not our shaking

  731. fists to them but this is our conviction.

  732. This does stiff in our spine in the face of the entire mob.

  733. We're able to just say I love you and you are suppressing the

  734. truth. And then, of course, as they

  735. call us hateful, they spit on us and do all those other things,

  736. and we welcome it. Why?

  737. Because in that moment, you can know.

  738. You are being persecuted for Christ's sake and they'll claim

  739. that you're not. No, you're not being persecuted.

  740. If you are like Jesus, you would be loving because Love Is Love

  741. In Jesus. So these people who hate Christ

  742. will pretend to know Christ and then teach you about Christ and

  743. what cries demands of you a Christ follower, this is the

  744. deception that the church has fallen into and the You become

  745. confused and weak and anemic and the church goes.

  746. I kind of was a. That's a good point.

  747. No, it wasn't that stupid and it's not logical.

  748. You need to stop. Believing it.

  749. What can be known about God is plain to them?

  750. Why? Because God has shown it to

  751. them. For his invisible attributes,

  752. namely his eternal power, and his divine nature.

  753. Wow. So he showed him the biggies,

  754. his eternal power and his divine nature have been clearly

  755. perceived ever since the creation of the world in the

  756. things that have been made. What's the evidence for God his

  757. creation? I don't believe that.

  758. I think we came from nothing. You're suppressing the truth.

  759. I still love you and I want you to follow King Jesus but you're

  760. suppressing the truth and I'm going to continue to stand on my

  761. point. No matter what you say, I'm

  762. gonna go to your employer, you go to him, I may get fired and

  763. you'll see my king keep providing for me.

  764. I will burn your house down, burn it down and you'll see my

  765. king is still going to provide for me.

  766. This is what it looks like to be persecuted Church.

  767. We're not going to be persecute. When they throw us in prison, at

  768. some point, in some day, if it gets to that point, And it's not

  769. going to be, they're not going to charge us in court with

  770. loving Jesus. You need to understand that.

  771. That won't be the charge. If I'm in a prison camp.

  772. I won't be in the prison camp on charges of loving and Faithfully

  773. following King Jesus. It will be on the charges of

  774. hate and bigotry and hate speech, that will be the charge.

  775. So I wish it was planar and simpler.

  776. Okay. I wish it was.

  777. I wish it was just like we hate King Jesus.

  778. They're not going to say that because somewhere in the Heart

  779. of hearts they do fear God, a smidgen enough to not be so bold

  780. actually if you stay in the trenches of conversation long

  781. enough you they will actually come out and say it.

  782. If you hold your ground, you'll say, no.

  783. The Bible is the word of God. I don't care about your Bible.

  784. Well, it's probably because you don't care about God.

  785. I don't believe in God. If you stand your ground long

  786. enough, the truth comes out. I've seen it many times in

  787. conversations. Well, I hate your and God, you

  788. like you've admitted it. We've reached the conclusion of

  789. the truth. You didn't suppress the truth

  790. right there, that's right. And then they may Double Down On

  791. It. And finally, the truth has been

  792. exposed. Why?

  793. The word of God. Come to the heart.

  794. Do we just want an emotional angry reaction?

  795. No, we won't repentance. And that's where we keep pouring

  796. in the gospel. Hey Christ.

  797. Died for your sins. If you will humble yourself

  798. before King Jesus, you can be a child in his house.

  799. God loves you and he calls you in so we don't respond to anger

  800. with anger. So this these are the moments

  801. when this is when when you get slapped on One Cheek when you

  802. turn the other, when you show them, my love is consistent.

  803. My love is faithful. Why?

  804. Because it's love that really comes from God.

  805. So they are without excuse for, although they knew God, they did

  806. not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became

  807. futile in their thinking and their foolish Hearts were,

  808. darkened claiming to be wise, they became fools.

  809. That's all I saw in that documentary.

  810. Or enlightened we see more, we know more, but we don't know

  811. what a woman is, a woman is whatever.

  812. Woman is a woman, is whoever identifies as a woman claiming

  813. to be wise. We're so enlightened.

  814. Now they became fools and exchanged the glory of the

  815. immortal. God for images, resembling

  816. mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things, therefore,

  817. what did God do? God gave them up in their lusts

  818. of their hearts to impurity to the dishonoring of their bodies

  819. among themselves? Because they exchanged, they

  820. exchanged it, they exchanged the truth of God about God for a lie

  821. and they worshipped and served the creature rather than the

  822. Creator who is forever blessed. All men for this raisin.

  823. What did God do? God gave them up to dishonorable

  824. passions for their women, exchanged natural relations for

  825. those that are contrary to Nature and Men likewise gave up

  826. natural relations with women who were consumed with passion for

  827. one another men. Committing Shameless acts with

  828. men and receiving in themselves. The due penalty for their error.

  829. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge, God, God gave

  830. them up. What did God do?

  831. God gave them up. Again to a debased mind to do

  832. what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner

  833. of unrighteousness, with evil with covetousness and Malice.

  834. They are full of Envy murder Strife, deceit, maliciousness

  835. they are gossips slanderers. Haters of God insolent haughty

  836. boastful and this one really struck me.

  837. Inventors of evil. We got new ways.

  838. We got new things. Homosexuality is a really old

  839. sin according to the word of God, but now now we have

  840. transgenderism as it's called and and we have surgeries

  841. there's a father and even in this documentary, he was

  842. arrested, he's out on bail as the time of the filming but he's

  843. arrested in Canada. This is real.

  844. In the world today he was arrested because he would not

  845. use his 13 year old daughter's, preferred pronouns.

  846. She her mother was saying that she's a boy now and the father

  847. refused to participate and they took her to the hospital in the

  848. dads. Like let's get this over with.

  849. Let's get the truth and the hospital totally affirmed.

  850. This poor young girls, delusions and sided with the mother.

  851. And they began hormone therapy to begin to.

  852. What are they doing? They're inventing new forms of

  853. evil. They're inventing them.

  854. And his father goes to jail for it disobedient to parents

  855. foolish, faithless, heartless and ruthless though.

  856. They know, God's righteous decree that those who practice,

  857. such things deserve to die. They not only do them, but they

  858. give approval to those who practice them.

  859. And now, we would say, of course, they go farther and

  860. promote it at the early stage possible.

  861. Not just give approval if you choose it, but you should choose

  862. it and you should affirm it and approve it church.

  863. This is not a shaking our To the world sermon.

  864. This is a look in the mirror. Like we prayed before the

  865. service. How have we gotten to this

  866. place? It's not just the world.

  867. It's the church. If we are the salt of the earth

  868. and the Earth is rotting. The salt has lost its saltiness.

  869. This is all that we can control is our own saltiness.

  870. We must preserve. We must bring the flavors of the

  871. Kingdom. We must bring hope and life, and

  872. light to people. All the commercials, all the ads

  873. that you'll be bombarded with all month long, they will not

  874. show you the trauma, the darkness, the oppression, the

  875. medical malfunctions, the absolute devastation that

  876. homosexuality and transgenderism bring to the human body and to

  877. the human soul. You only be shown little

  878. rainbows. That's all you'll see.

  879. You have to believe the word of God in absence of seeing the

  880. truth and these people's lives and the in the Brokenness that

  881. they're experiencing, see them the way.

  882. God does May own female and then love them with the gospel so

  883. that they will be transformed. Not man, y'all to come back and

  884. be the other gender, okay, that would be good.

  885. I mean, don't get me wrong. You want your alcoholic friend?

  886. Decide be an alcoholic, right? Because it's destroying his life

  887. but that still doesn't save him. You want your drug addict friend

  888. to stop doing drugs right? Yeah.

  889. But that still doesn't Even so yes we are all about removing

  890. Sin from someone's life to preserve their life.

  891. But always ultimately so that they would know King Jesus and

  892. live in the Kingdom where there is true love joy, peace,

  893. patience, kindness goodness faithfulness, gentleness and

  894. self-control. So if you don't have faith in

  895. God's word, you'll continue to be pressured by culture and to

  896. silence all in the Name of Love. But if you don't tell somebody

  897. the truth, you actually hate them.

  898. And yes it's demonic that they tell you you're hateful when you

  899. tell the truth. But that's only because demons

  900. do hate the truth, but we're not going to work by Satan's

  901. definitions, we're working by gods.

  902. So we're preaching for God's truth.

  903. Yes. And we're preaching against

  904. Satan's lies. Why?

  905. Because their lies, their damaging, their empty and

  906. eventually they are damning. So, what's some of our best

  907. offense? And we're closing.

  908. Some of the best offense we have is honoring male and female in

  909. your Honoring male and female in your household.

  910. If you're a husband and your wife continue to build God's

  911. good design for polarity and the male and female, if you're

  912. raising Sons or daughters build God's good design for polarity

  913. in your children, boys, as boys girls as girls.

  914. Don't be bullied away from the stereotypes and don't be

  915. terrified either. If your son plays with a doll,

  916. this is not the end of the world, but the point is we want

  917. to encourage the things that men R4, and the things that women

  918. are for. There's some things that they're

  919. both for, but there are some things that are distinct May own

  920. female, and we rejoice in it, just like we Rejoice at a

  921. mountain and a valley. We Rejoice at an ocean and we

  922. Rejoice at a desert or like, look at it, the Majesty of

  923. creation, look at the Majesty of male and female.

  924. It's good, it's very good. It's good to be a man.

  925. If you're a man, it's good to be a woman.

  926. If you're a woman, it's good to be a boy.

  927. If you're a boy it's good to be a girl.

  928. If you're a girl it's good and we need not seek anything else.

  929. This is God's will for us. This is his plan for us.

  930. So let our own household, be the first thing before we go

  931. worrying. About whatever else is in our

  932. neighbors. I, let's make sure there's no

  933. logs in our eyes. We have to continue to

  934. prioritize. God's good design for male and

  935. female masculine and feminine. Stop being androgynous, stop

  936. being same. Be distinct and like God,

  937. glorify his name through it all God, we pray for ourselves and

  938. we ask that you would continue to show us what it looks like to

  939. be distinct male and female lord.

  940. Bring more clarity to us on what it is to be a man and what it is

  941. to be a woman according to your word, what are the purposes?

  942. And how can we live in them? Because it's in our purpose,

  943. where will be fully satisfied. It's in our purpose.

  944. Where will be fully enjoyed by you and Only blessed walking in

  945. your blessings. So we invite you God into salt

  946. Church, to continue, to lead us into your perfect design for

  947. male and female. You got, we invite.

  948. You also to make us a blessing to the world around us.

  949. Help us to speak the truth. In love. not to be afraid not to

  950. be as harmless as a dove, only not to be as wise as a serpent

  951. only, but to be as wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove

  952. genuinely caring about people who are perishing I'm

  953. prioritizing the messages that should be prioritized.

  954. We focus on these messages because these sins are so

  955. flagrant. If our culture took a month, to

  956. celebrate, any sin in particular than we would wage war against

  957. that Sim. If our culture took a month to

  958. rejoice in lying, then we would wage war against lying.

  959. If our culture took a month to wage war against to celebrate

  960. any impurity than as your church, we would have to rise up

  961. with salt and light, specifically for that thing.

  962. So that's what we do. God, we speak up with Truth and

  963. Love. Help us not to be swayed by man

  964. and to not fear, man, but to love you and love them and only

  965. for you. Lead us out and power.

  966. Holy Spirit. We don't just ask for boldness.

  967. We ask for more of you, Thank you for building your church and

  968. establishing your kingdom forever in Jesus name.

  969. Amen? And now the Lord bless you and

  970. keep you the Lord, make his face shine down upon you and be

  971. gracious to you. The Lord lift up his countenance

  972. upon you and give you great. Peace in Jesus name.

  973. Amen.
