  1. I'll tell you, there's such a sweet anointing in here today

  2. and you and you don't always experience that in church.

  3. And what you have going on here is, is it's special, it's God

  4. ordained. The Middle Peninsula needs this

  5. church. There are hurting people out

  6. here that need what you have. So I just want to encourage you.

  7. Great, great worship, great worship.

  8. This morning. If you have your Bibles, we're

  9. going to turn to the book of Acts chapter 18.

    Acts 18 chapter mention

  10. And before, before we begin, I'm like, it's sort of an oxymoron

  11. story, but this, this, this atheist was arguing about God

  12. and his greatness. And we've sung about his

  13. greatness, his goodness, and his atheist wanted to confront God.

  14. And this Christian said, well, OK, go ahead and confront him.

  15. And he goes, well, I can do anything God can do.

  16. I'm a scientist, I'm a doctor. And he says, OK, well, what can

  17. you do? And they brought in a mentally

  18. ill person. He says, I can give this person

  19. drugs. And I'm not, I'm not minimizing

  20. medical practice at all. And he can calm this guy down

  21. and he can function and so forth.

  22. He goes OK, and we just want touch.

  23. God says I touched him and it's whatever was bothering him is

  24. gone. He goes well, OK.

  25. He said well this this person is sick so I can give them

  26. antibiotics, I can do this Prednisone, drop Poison Ivy,

  27. etcetera. So on.

  28. He goes, OK, God just waved his hand and the guy's maladies were

  29. healed. And then finally, the last Test

  30. is this atheist wanted to put to God.

  31. He goes, what else you got? God just reached down and picked

  32. up some dirt and formed a man, and he became a living being.

  33. And the atheist says, that's nothing.

  34. He reached down and grabbed the dirt.

  35. And God says you get your own dirt.

  36. So anyway, sometimes things fall a little flat.

  37. But all right, Acts 18 today we're going to be talking about

  38. the making of a disciple and we're going to begin.

  39. And I'm reading for the Message Bible, so it may read a little

  40. different depending on what translation you're you're

  41. reading from verse 24, a man named Apollo's came to Ephesus.

  42. He was a Jew, born in Alexandria, Alexandria, Egypt,

  43. and a terrific speaker, eloquent and powerful in his preaching of

  44. the Scriptures. He was well educated in the way

  45. of the Master and fiery in his enthusiasm.

  46. Apollos was accurate in everything he taught about Jesus

  47. up to a point, but he only went as far as the baptism of John.

  48. He preached with power in the meeting place.

  49. When Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and

  50. told him the rest of the story. When Apollos decided to go on to

  51. a Caya province, these Ephesian friends gave their blessing and

  52. wrote a letter of recommendation for him, urging the disciples

  53. there to welcome him with open arms.

  54. The welcome paid off. Apollo's turned out to be a

  55. great help to those who had become believers through God's

  56. immense generosity. He was particularly effective in

  57. public debate with the Jews, as he brought out proof, after

  58. convincing proof from the Scriptures, that Jesus was, in

  59. fact God's Messiah. Aren't you glad that aren't you

  60. glad today that Jesus is the Messiah?

  61. Amen. We're redeemed, we're born

  62. again, we have heaven for our home and it's for eternity.

  63. That's good news. Look at your neighbors say

  64. that's good news and what are we to do?

  65. Jesus said go into all the world and share that message.

  66. You got good news tomorrow on your job site to tell somebody.

  67. I've got good news wherever I go and and God opens opportunity

  68. up. But the first point I want to

  69. make today about making a disciple is disciples have

  70. potential. Everyone has potential.

  71. Potential is what's the intelligence test IQ.

  72. Intelligence is like IQ. Someone may have a very high IQ,

  73. but they may act like a complete idiot.

  74. We know they usually end with PhD at the end of their name

  75. sometimes, but potential doesn't guarantee you're going to

  76. fulfill what it is you can't fulfill.

  77. It takes a discipline and drive and, and in the church it takes

  78. the anointing of the Holy Ghost. So here we have Apollos who is

  79. from Alexandria, Egypt, which at the time was a had a university.

  80. It was a great learning place. It was a great institution of

  81. higher learning. So Apollo's has learned from

  82. these schools that he went to in Egypt and he knew he knew what

  83. he knew he was the Bible says in verse 24 he was an eloquent man

  84. and mighty and the and the and the word mighty is donatos,

  85. which means he was powerful and capable connected.

  86. And this word connects to the Greek word dunamis, which if you

  87. read in the book of Acts, when that power fell, it was the

  88. dunamis of God. It was like dynamite.

  89. It was explosive. It brought about change in the

  90. disciples. You had this man named Peter who

  91. denied Christ three times, all of a sudden is telling the Jews,

  92. you did this to Jesus, you did this, and you have slain the

  93. Lamb of God. And this is a guy who just 40 or

  94. 50 days before had go, had gone and, and denied his Savior 3

  95. times. So what changed was Peter all of

  96. a sudden was anointed by the Holy Ghost.

  97. And I can't, this is God's service.

  98. So he tells whatever he tells me to do, we're going to do.

  99. This is not my service. It's not John's service, it's

  100. his service. So we have to, we have to know.

  101. But anyway, Apollo's had a presence about him and I and I

  102. believe when he stepped in a room, it just kind of commanded

  103. attention. I worked with a guy, he was a

  104. within Rico police. He, he was a Sergeant major in

  105. the United States Marine Corps. His name was Lt.

  106. Parker. And if you, if you go to ever,

  107. ever go up to Quantico, I've heard I haven't been up there,

  108. but I want to go, my wife has been, but I want to go up there

  109. and see the memorial. And I encourage anybody that can

  110. go up there to do that. I haven't been able to do that

  111. yet. But anyway, Lt. was the kind of

  112. guy who had a very boisterous voice, ice blue eyes.

  113. But when he belted something out, it was like, and he at the

  114. time, he was just an officer. He wasn't even of rank in the

  115. police division. When he would say something,

  116. people paid attention. I can be on a domestic call and

  117. the couple just going back and forth and then the mom steps in

  118. because the grandkids are there. And then L and then Lt. could

  119. show up and go, Mama, what's going on?

  120. And everybody just shuts up and you're like, how does he do

  121. that? Well, he had a, he had a very

  122. command presence. He had commanded troops in Iraq.

  123. He had done what what he had done in the past and it it came

  124. for the future. And what God does with us, he

  125. uses what abilities we have. Not everybody has that command.

  126. If if you ever worked in law enforcement or the military, you

  127. know, there's some people that are elevated be way beyond their

  128. abilities. They're promoted way beyond

  129. their abilities. They, they just, they're in over

  130. their head. The guys in, in, in the unit

  131. know it. The guys on the platoon know it.

  132. Everybody knows it. And I'll tell you, the guy who

  133. got promoted who shouldn't knows it.

  134. Amen. Anybody help me here.

  135. But anyway, he was mighty in the scriptures, educated in Egypt,

  136. eloquent in speaking. And which means he was eloquent

  137. in writing and speaking. In other words, today's

  138. vernacular, we would say he had a way with words.

  139. He had a way with words. What you know, we should pray

  140. when we're, when we're trying to reach someone on the job site or

  141. wherever. God, give me the right word,

  142. because one word from you can penetrate a heart and you know

  143. it. The results are not your

  144. responsibility. It's not there's a guy at work

  145. who's currently living with his girlfriend and he's he's

  146. divorced and he's living with his girlfriend and, and you

  147. know, at times you got to be bold, right?

  148. So we have another guy who's who's a believer, who works in

  149. our control room where I work now at the federal courthouse.

  150. And he was talking to him. He says, so you know, you're

  151. going to you're going to go ahead and and make her an honest

  152. woman. You know, that was a nice way of

  153. saying you're going to marry her.

  154. And no, you know, we're doing great.

  155. We got this blah, blah, blah, blah.

  156. And and this is bold. He goes, so you're just going to

  157. continue to live in sin, huh? And you know, I told this guy,

  158. my friend Jeff, I said, that's pretty bold to say to another

  159. grown man. He goes, he goes, it's the truth

  160. though, right? I'm like, absolutely.

  161. And and sometimes people need to hear the the cold hard facts.

  162. This is what you're doing and it's sin.

  163. It's wrong. You need to repent, you need to

  164. get right with God and you need to make your situation right.

  165. All right, that was free. Wasn't even in my notes.

  166. God uses the gifts he places within us in his Kingdom for the

  167. advancement of his Kingdom. Start with what you know.

  168. Apollo's only knew of John's baptism.

  169. So let's let's sort of unpack that for a minute.

  170. So what did what did John the Baptist preach?

  171. Repentance. Repentance.

  172. He was making a way for the coming Savior.

  173. He said, I'm the I'm the voice in the wilderness, make straight

  174. paths. He's coming.

  175. So he preached repentance and then he water baptized, which

  176. was symbolic of death, burial and a resurrection.

  177. So already he's pointing everything to Jesus.

  178. This is going to be the way it's going to be.

  179. This is how it has to happen. And as the one is revealed from

  180. heaven, I have to decrease, but he is going to increase.

  181. And that's I was telling somebody recently I had the

  182. opportunity to speak at my church and they said, oh, you

  183. did such a great job. You know, it's always nice to

  184. hear you do a good job. But I just say, you know, the

  185. biggest struggle I have is I need to Get Me Out of out of the

  186. way because if I can Get Me Out of the way, I can do something.

  187. No, God can do something. Remember my dad, You were

  188. talking about dad years ago. And I don't know why, but my dad

  189. didn't really care for Jerry Falwell for some reason.

  190. But he said, you know, one thing I did do like about it,

  191. something he said he saw him on TV.

  192. He said when I'm in the bathroom shaving in the morning, and if I

  193. can get past that dude right there in that mirror, I can get

  194. something done today. Isn't that the truth?

  195. We can get in our own way. But when, when we're talking

  196. about making disciples, know this Jesus is making us.

  197. You're not, you don't have to do this by yourself.

  198. The Holy Spirit is coming along and he's helping us to move

  199. forward. No one's going to say, oh, man,

  200. I'm glad I made it to heaven. I, I, you know, thank God I was

  201. able to do it. You didn't do anything except

  202. say, yes, he's going to get the glory.

  203. The crowns that we have on our heads are going to go with his

  204. feet because he's worthy. Hallelujah.

  205. You know, when we're worshipping, I get amazed

  206. sometimes. You know, there's kind of people

  207. that are because of a lot of times because of their

  208. backgrounds, they're a little stoic.

  209. You know, it's like, OK, a little reserved, Hey.

  210. And that day, your knees going to bend and your hands are going

  211. to be up. Hallelujah.

  212. We're all going to be worshippers, he said in Matthew

  213. 311. I indeed Baptist, is John the

  214. Baptist. I indeed baptize you with water

  215. unto repentance, but he's coming after me is mightier than I,

  216. whose shoes I'm not worthy to bear.

  217. He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and fire.

  218. So Apollo's was talking about the way of the Lord, which means

  219. the route or the highway to the Lord.

  220. He understood John's ministry. He understood what John was

  221. saying and but it only took him so far.

  222. It takes the anointing of the Holy Ghost.

  223. And like you said about Peter, Apollo's needed to be taught

  224. about the Holy Ghost. And I and I believe that once

  225. once a body understands this and they grasp that message that the

  226. gifts of the spirit flowing, I think we need to see the

  227. supernatural because it draws you let people start coming in

  228. these doors and you start laying hands on them and they start

  229. getting healed right in the service.

  230. It's going to change your reputation in the community.

  231. Hallelujah. So what God, what what gifts has

  232. has God imparted in your life? You may sit there and go, well,

  233. I don't really, you know, I'm just, I'm just a stay at home

  234. mom. I'm taking care of the baby.

  235. Nah, you're ministering to, you're mentoring a new life.

  236. You are, you are super important because that's the next Jesus

  237. doesn't come back in our lifetime.

  238. That's the next generation that's going to take this

  239. message forward. Don't you minimize the ministry

  240. that you have. That's right.

  241. We attend New New Kent Christian Center and recently we, our

  242. pastor wanted to start another church.

  243. So we started a new church called the Foundation

  244. Fellowship, which meets on Saturday night and it meets at

  245. New Kent Christian Center, which is kind of strange, but it, it,

  246. it enabled the church to get started without having to have a

  247. building, etcetera, and things like that.

  248. But our church, one of our pastors is Jay Bolan.

  249. He, he said, you know, what are we doing if we're not reaching

  250. our community? And, and our pastor, Wayne Meade

  251. says the same thing. He said we have a food, we have

  252. a food pantry right up the road. You got a food pantry.

  253. What is God speaking to your heart to do to further the

  254. gospel and to help build this local body?

  255. There's things. There's a food pantry right up

  256. the road. Even if so, you know, you have a

  257. food drive once a month and you say, you know, bring your canned

  258. goods. We're going to be a blessing.

  259. What you're doing when you do that is you're ministering the

  260. love of God to the needy. I mean, this is where the rubber

  261. meets the road. It it's, it's where our our, our

  262. religion takes traction. Remember, potential is just

  263. having or show in the capacity to become or develop into

  264. something in the future. If Apollo's needed the baptism

  265. and the Holy Spirit, how much more do we?

  266. Jesus said in John 15 verse four, I am the vine and you are

  267. the branches. He who abides in me and I in Him

  268. bears much fruit. Without me you can do nothing.

  269. I am so aware of that in my life.

  270. I know John Michael is so aware of that.

  271. I know Ken Kramer is so aware of that and others that have

  272. ministered to us and us to them at times.

  273. Without him I can do nothing. The second point is a disciple

  274. has to be teachable. Verse 26 says he began to speak

  275. boldly in the synagogue, whom when Aquila and Priscilla had

  276. heard him, they took him unto them and expanded to him the way

  277. of God more perfectly. You know, the synagogue was not

  278. always a hospitable place to believers, if you'll, if you

  279. think about the apostle Paul, a lot of times he was run out of

  280. town. He was beaten.

  281. But Aquila and Priscilla expanded the way of God more

  282. fully. All of us need people speaking

  283. into our lives. And, and you know what, you

  284. know, amazing thing about God. Sometimes he will take somebody

  285. who we think is so insignificant in the body and they'll go, you

  286. know, and maybe they pose it as a question, you know, pass

  287. rightly, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

  288. And there's time that we may go. And then two days later the Holy

  289. Spirit brings that conversation back and going, that was me

  290. talking to you. That's good.

  291. So we can't, we can't be here this morning and think, I don't

  292. have anything to say. I don't have anything to offer.

  293. We all do, We all do. And I believe that's where the

  294. power of God is going to flow when the body starts being the

  295. body. Amen.

  296. All right. I've read, I read the Scripture.

  297. I, I, I try to read it through the Bible through every year.

  298. I'm on a reading plan every year and I've, and I've done it, but

  299. I can tell you every time I do this, I get my, I read it on my

  300. phone. I get my phone, I get my coffee

  301. because I have to have caffeine and I start sipping, but I can

  302. read something and go, I read this before.

  303. Well, of course you have, you've read the Bible through you've

  304. read it before, but then all of a sudden I'll go, never saw that

  305. before. Why, why?

  306. Why is that? How does that happen?

  307. It happens because this word is a living thing.

  308. It is a living Organism. It is, it is, it is the life of

  309. God in US and it and, and it's new, it's fresh.

  310. And then the Holy Spirit is speaking to us and brings and

  311. that's why the world, the natural man can't understand

  312. that because they they're not born again.

  313. They can't grasp that yet. They just think it's just a nice

  314. religious book. But with us for us, it's alive.

  315. The word says it's powerful. It can separate soul and spirit,

  316. bone and marrow that cuts. Amen.

  317. And sometimes it cuts for healing.

  318. Sometimes it's cutting things out of our life that we God says

  319. you don't need that. Has God recently told anybody

  320. put that out of your life? He has me, He has me things I

  321. was hanging on to. He said you don't need that.

  322. And it may be it may just be something that happened in the

  323. past. You don't need, you don't need

  324. to be thinking on that. You don't need that.

  325. You know, I could meddle, but I won't.

  326. But as we read the word and we read the word and we study the

  327. word, what happens is some things in scriptures are, are

  328. are taught and then other things are caught.

  329. And that's why sometimes when you're hearing a message

  330. preached. You can go Rob, he's going to

  331. preach on this. I've heard that before.

  332. And then all of a sudden the Spirit of God who energy comes,

  333. comes in roaring in and it's like, Oh my gosh, how did I

  334. never see that before? And it's because it is alive and

  335. he is alive. Praise God.

  336. Being teachable means we need more.

  337. I'm going to, I'm going to brag a little bit on my youngest son,

  338. Anthony. He's a decent basketball player,

  339. plays for Providence Classical School in Williamsburg.

  340. And at the beginning of this basketball season, I know I

  341. really sound like I'm bragging, but I am.

  342. It's it's OK. It's true if it's true.

  343. If it's true, it's true. He was scoring how many?

  344. What's the most points you scored in one game?

  345. 32 points in one game and the and the total score they had was

  346. 47 and and then there was 47 to 29 I think was the win.

  347. So he scored more points than the opposite team all together.

  348. But anyway, while it was fun watching him do what he does,

  349. he's very quick. He's handles the ball well.

  350. He loves the game, pulling up, busting threes right in people's

  351. faces, which is a dad. You just love that stuff.

  352. Is the is is some of the other players that were newer to the

  353. game and much, much taller than him.

  354. We needed them to become more involved in the offense to get

  355. better. So the coach is coaching them

  356. up, coaching them up. And as the year went went along.

  357. If you if you like basketball, you follow basketball at all or

  358. you ever have, you know, there's a transition in the game, get a

  359. rebound. The transition game is moving

  360. that ball back down the court in one game.

  361. I'll never forget it. I'm sitting there with my wife

  362. and we're watching and I'm I'm like, Oh my gosh, She said,

  363. what's wrong? I said the team is finally

  364. getting it. They're seeing the lanes.

  365. Anthony's coming down the court. Pass, No, look, pass in this guy

  366. throws it to the guy over here, throws it to the guy over there.

  367. They're starting to come together as a team.

  368. And sometimes in the body of Christ, we're that way.

  369. You know, one person is taking the ball.

  370. John Michael, he's came. He came to Middlesex.

  371. I'm going to take this ball and I'm taking it down the court.

  372. And now all of a sudden he's pulled all of you in with him.

  373. And now it's like, you're going to do this, you're doing that,

  374. you're doing that, you're doing this and God's move and, and

  375. things are happening and next thing the win is not about a

  376. superstar player. It's about glory to God.

  377. He's used all of us. That's so good because we're not

  378. going to be judged on how famous we were or how good we looked

  379. while we were doing what we were doing.

  380. We're going to be judged on faithfulness and the person who

  381. was faithful, I don't care if they were off wallflower the

  382. whole time they were in in the body of Christ.

  383. They're going to get a great reward too, maybe more than some

  384. pastors. And I want to talk about Aquila

  385. and Priscilla, just for a second.

  386. Your journey may not have you seated in a prominent place.

  387. Think about this. They could have heard Apollo's

  388. preaching and going, he don't have the Holy Ghost.

  389. Come on, that's good. He ain't got the Holy Ghost.

  390. Well, you know, one day maybe, but he could he, he can preach

  391. as far as he can preach. But you know, really, he

  392. couldn't preach his way out of a wet paper bag.

  393. No, they didn't do that. They said this is God's man.

  394. This is the man who's going to help Paul, who just left

  395. Ephesus, who was going to come back to Ephesus.

  396. This is a man who can refute the Jews the way Paul did.

  397. And now all of a sudden God's into addition and then

  398. multiplication because more people are coming into the body

  399. like that. And they were just tent makers

  400. because that's what Paul's trade was.

  401. They were tent makers. So what we have to do is check

  402. our egos at the door. Oh, I'm pastor of Saul Church.

  403. I know John Michael doesn't think like that.

  404. That's why I can say that I'm super apostle to Middlesex.

  405. He doesn't. He doesn't feel that way at all.

  406. If you didn't get a promotion, whether it's work or in the

  407. local body which you thought you should, you know, I, I really

  408. should be. I, I, I should be running the

  409. sound. I should be.

  410. No, nobody's fighting for that, I'm sure.

  411. But that was probably a bad example.

  412. I should be doing XYZ, you know, the past, you know, Oh, I loved

  413. it this morning. John, Michael and I were in here

  414. talking 20-30 minutes, 20 minutes before the service start

  415. and the men are over here praying the men, most churches,

  416. it's the women. But it just, I'm telling you,

  417. there's something about men getting here early and lifting

  418. up the service, lifting up the community.

  419. That's why you had the environment you have.

  420. That's good. So I want to encourage you in

  421. that. But while you may not in your

  422. mind have a prominent place, promotion comes from the Lord.

  423. Amen, Amen. I got things in my life I'm

  424. waiting on right now. Anybody waiting on some things

  425. in the Lord. I got some things that I'm

  426. working on and saying, OK, God, I'm, I'm here, I'm here, I'm

  427. ready. What, what do you got for me?

  428. And it's just like, well, ain't it ain't happening.

  429. It's not taking place yet. But I got to be patient.

  430. I got to wait on him because I have tried to kick doors down

  431. before. And sometimes you can, and then

  432. sometimes they just don't go because God has got to do a work

  433. in you first. Oh Hallelujah, Amen.

  434. What gifts should you be imparting to others?

  435. Remember, potential is just capacity to develop into

  436. something in the future. It's up to you and me to work

  437. that out. Now.

  438. I talked about a Priscilla and Aquila.

  439. Let's look at Paula's. He could have said, I'm up here

  440. in front of hundreds of people teaching the word of God.

  441. Who's these people that they are coming and telling me you don't

  442. know about the Holy Ghost. We got to get you.

  443. We got to make sure you understand salvation that you're

  444. preaching about the Holy Ghost. Again, it's that thing of check

  445. your ego at the door, leave it there because God wants to use

  446. the body. Good friend of mine said heaven,

  447. I can hear him say it now, Dallas Plemons God.

  448. And and this is when a lot of major ministries were having

  449. major moral failures from the top, top men.

  450. And he said God is taking the anointing away from these

  451. so-called superstars and putting it back where it belonged all

  452. the time. And that's on the body.

  453. He never intended us to preach or worship.

  454. Yeah, and it's the easy trap to fall into.

  455. Thirdly, a disciple is empowered to build up others.

  456. We, we, we said. When Apollo's decided to go on

  457. to Akaya Province, his Ephesian friends gave their blessing,

  458. wrote a letter of recommendation for emerging disciples there to

  459. welcome him in open arms. The welcome paid off.

  460. Apollo's turned out to be a great help to those who have

  461. become believers through God's immense generosity.

  462. He was particularly effective in public debate with the Jews as

  463. he brought out proof and convincing proof from Scriptures

  464. that Jesus was God's disciple. Your discipleship may include

  465. endorsing others to go where maybe you can't.

  466. Maybe there's limitations logistically that you can't go

  467. somewhere else or to a foreign country to be a missionary.

  468. But maybe God's saying, you know what, this person needs this,

  469. give it to him. They need a vehicle, give it to

  470. them. They need a computer, give them

  471. one. If they're using it for my, my

  472. Kingdom, Hallelujah. Having reputable people put in a

  473. good word for you goes a long way.

  474. And it paid big dividends to southern Greece.

  475. Apollo's built up the believers in southern Greece.

  476. People were encouraged, taught, strengthened with by God's great

  477. generosity, he being mightily convincing the Jews publicly

  478. showing that that Jesus was the Christ.

  479. And you know, let's, let's just pray and ask God.

  480. Help me, Lord, regardless of what I think or see on their

  481. faces, help my words strike like a hammer.

  482. Let whoever I talk to, even if they curse at me after I share

  483. the word, let me just leave that in your hands because that word

  484. is alive. Hallelujah.

  485. You can depend on the word to back you up.

  486. Don't worry about who gets credit.

  487. In First Corinthians 35, Paul wrote when the Corinthian church

  488. was talking about, well, I follow Paul, well I follow Paul,

  489. Well I follow Jesus. I follow John, Michael, I follow

  490. Natalie. And Paul goes, is Jesus divided?

  491. He said Paul planted, Apollo's watered, but God gets the glory.

  492. So the bottom line, it doesn't matter in in this sense, what we

  493. are doing as long as we're doing what God told us to do.

  494. What matters is God gets the glory.

  495. He or she who's doing whatever they're doing isn't the isn't

  496. the, isn't the end result. They are just a facilitator.

  497. And guess what? God loves you so much.

  498. He's he's like, come on, let's go.

  499. You and me. I got something for you today.

  500. There's somebody hurting in this community.

  501. I want you to minister to Hallelujah.

  502. We all have the capacity to build others up today and this

  503. week. Ask God, Lord, what can I do to

  504. use the gifts you've given me for my community, for my

  505. neighbor? Maybe the community's too big.

  506. Maybe you can't think think that big right now.

  507. What can I do to help a Co worker?

  508. What can I say? It's going to make a difference.

  509. Hallelujah, let's pray Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Holy

  510. Spirit. This is this is the time of the

  511. service where, where we, we have tried to submit and be a

  512. transparent and only say what you want us to say and no more.

  513. Well, Lord, right now we get out of the way because it's, it's we

  514. want to make room for you. We want to make room for you to

  515. move in our hearts, in our thinking, or even in our

  516. desires. Would help us to get our minds

  517. off of us and our agendas. What?

  518. What do you, Holy Spirit, want to do?

  519. First of all, in my life, in the ministries in this church's

  520. life, and then in the workplaces, in the homes where

  521. small children are being reared, in the job site in the region,

  522. in this state, in this nation, and throughout the world.

  523. Lord, in the large salt churches, comprehension of what

  524. you want it to accomplish or bring the gifts if there's

  525. anything lacking. Holy Spirit, we ask you to bring

  526. those gifts in. We pray them in right now.

  527. I'm going to get everybody to stand there.

  528. Hallelujah, Lord, you're the great one.

  529. You're great and mighty. Lord.

  530. Lord, we lift our hands to you. We praise you for who you are.

  531. We bless you, Lord. Our voices will cry out to you.

  532. You are the Lord of armies. You are the great and mighty

  533. one, the Alpha, the Omega, beginning and end.

  534. You're all together lovely. You're all together powerful.

  535. You're everywhere at one time. Lord, we just pray for this

  536. community right now. That you would bless Middlesex

  537. County, Matthews, Lancaster, Gloucester, surrounding region.

  538. That you would use Salt Church to be a catalyst, a hospital to

  539. bring in lost and hurt and die. Or give grace.

  540. Give grace to your servants here.

  541. Lord, we ask if you would give grace.

  542. Give us a humble heart. Let us confess sin when we

  543. commit them, because we all do. Let us be quick, Holy Spirit, to

  544. acknowledge when we met, when we miss it, the Lord let us get

  545. right back up and get back on track.

  546. Hallelujah this morning. If you're here and you have a,

  547. you have a need in, in your physical body, would you just

  548. lift your hands straight up? You have a physical need in your

  549. body. All right, everybody else, look

  550. around. If you if your hands up, leave

  551. your hand up. I'm going to ask the ladies to

  552. go where the ladies are men to go to some of these men.

  553. And we're going to we're going to pray, pray, pray for them.

  554. Can you help us? Can you help us pray for these?

  555. These two ladies need ladies praying with them right here.

  556. And I know this isn't comfortable, but I didn't come

  557. to make us comfortable this morning.

  558. It's not why we're here. We're here to do business.

  559. And this is Kingdom business. Amen.

  560. Amen. Amen.

  561. Sure. Should you got her.

  562. All right, ladies and men, if you're comfortable sharing what

  563. it is you need prayer for, that's fine.

  564. If you don't, that's fine. But we're going to ask God to

  565. touch your body right now because this is where God wants

  566. the power to flow, not from here, but in here.

  567. Amen. All right, let's look.

  568. Let's just start praying right now.

  569. Ask and pray. Hallelujah, Lord, we just thank

  570. you. We thank you, Lord, that you're

  571. the healer. Thank you, Lord, you, you

  572. restore, Lord, a good part of your ministry on this earth.

  573. Lord, you laid hands on the sick.

  574. If you said we will do the same thing and they shall recover, it

  575. may not be instantaneous in May. Lord, we ask for miracles.

  576. We ask for creative miracles to be done in bodies right now.

  577. We ask Lord, that your anointing would flow.

  578. We give you glory already. We expect, Lord, we expect you

  579. to answer because you are faithful, you are righteous and

  580. you've given gifts to men. Distribute your gifts right now

  581. in Jesus name. We just thank you.

  582. Hallelujah. Now lift your hands and thank

  583. you. Amen.

  584. Hallelujah, Lord, we just glorify you.

  585. We praise you because you said if two or three are gathered in

  586. your name, you're in the midst. We believe right now, Lord,

  587. things are changing in bodies. Healing is coming right now.

  588. Hallelujah. We believe you, Lord.

  589. Hallelujah. You are mighty to save.

  590. Mighty to save, Hallelujah. Healing is part of salvation.

  591. Mighty are you, O God, we brag on you, Hallelujah, Hallelujah.

  592. Touch my body, Lord, there's things that need fixing,

  593. Hallelujah. And I believe you for it.

  594. And we give you praise and Thanksgiving in all the glory,

  595. because it belongs to you. We will not touch your glory in

  596. Jesus name, Amen. You can be seated.

  597. I live in you.
