  7. Praise the Lord, everyone. Are you glad to be in the house of the Lord on a Sunday morning?

  8. Amen. My favorite time of the day or time of the week, Sunday morning.

  9. I've always loved Sunday morning for some reason. I don't know.

  10. I like the way that sun's shining in today.

  11. Amen. I believe God's going to do something in this house.

  12. Amen. How many believes he's going to do it? Just do it, Lord.

  13. Have your way. Amen. Man, it's better than what Nike says. Just do it.

  14. I mean, God can do above and beyond all that.

  15. Praise the Lord. Just lift your hand today and just thank God for his presence.

  16. Thank him for his goodness.

  17. Thank him for his mercy.

  18. Aren't you glad for God's mercy today?

  19. Amen. If it wasn't for the mercy of God, we'd be lost.

  20. But because of the mercy of God, we are here today alive, and we're excited

  21. about God and expecting great things. Hallelujah.

  22. I'm glad to have my wife with me and my son, my daughter back there. Amen.

  23. We are so happy to be with you all again in the service today.

  24. Thank you to your pastor, Brother Young, and his wife for having us be with

  25. you all. It's truly an honor and a privilege to be here.

  26. Amen. I enjoyed the music. How about you? Did you enjoy the music this morning? Amen.

  27. Amen. Praise the Lord. I have a sermon here today that comes from the book of 1 Kings 10, verses 1-7.

    1 Kings 10:1–7

  28. Hey man, just quite a bit of reading.

  29. I'll try not to read the entire chapter, and you can do that when you get home. Amen.

  30. Amen, but I'll just cover what I have here today for this sermon,

  31. and I hope it really helps someone in this service. I believe in results.

  32. I wanna see results, don't you?

  33. I wanna see God move, amen. I shouldn't be content if God ain't moving.

  34. Man, I wanna see God move, amen.

  35. Praise God, I believe He's gonna do just that. Amen, if you come expecting,

  36. you can have, praise the Lord. Anybody in here today want to receive something from the Lord?

  37. Any receivers in here today? Amen.

  38. Praise the Lord. 1 Kings 10, verses 1 through 7.

    1 Kings 10:1–7

  39. And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name

  40. of the Lord, she came to prove him with hard questions.

  41. And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels that bear spices

  42. and very much gold and precious stones.

  43. And when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.

  44. And Solomon told her all her questions.

  45. There was not anything hid from the king, which he told her not.

  46. And when the queen of Sheba had seen

  47. all Solomon's wisdom and the house that he had built and the meat of his table

  48. and the sitting of his servants and the attendance of his ministers and the

  49. apparel and his cupbearers and his ascent by which he went up and to the house of the Lord,

  50. there was no more spirit in her.

  51. Amazing. Such detail. Amen.

  52. He had it all going on. And she said to the king, it was a true report that I heard.

  53. Everybody say heard. In mine own land of thy acts and of thy wisdom,

  54. how be it I believed not until the words, until I came. See, she was an unbeliever.

  55. And mine eyes had seen it. And behold, the half was not told me.

  56. Amen. Thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard.

  57. Amen. Today, I would like to preach on this thought or topic,

  58. an exceeding experience, an exceeding experience.

  59. Praise God. How many wants to have an experience today?

  60. Praise the Lord. Let's lift our hands toward heaven just because we have the Holy Ghost. Amen.

  61. Amen. We can receive more of God. We can have another touch.

  62. We can have another blessing.

  63. Praise God. Lord, we ask you today to move in this house, God.

  64. Lord, I pray you would anoint me, Lord, to deliver today, God.

  65. I pray you and anoint our ears and our hearts to receive your word, God.

  66. We lift you up, Lord. You said, if I be lifted up, I will draw a minute to me.

  67. Praise God. As we begin to lift you up, Lord, your glory will come down and touch the people.

  68. So we lift you up today, God. We ask you, Lord, to minister in this place today.

  69. And we give you honor today. We give you praise in Jesus' mighty name.

  70. Clap your hands unto the Lord.

  71. Music.

  72. Praise his mighty name, for he is worthy.

  73. Come on, he's worthy of your praise. Don't let a rock cry out in your place.

  74. Amen. Go ahead and magnify him. He alone is worthy, inhabits the praise of his people.

  75. Praise the Lord. You may be seated in the house of the Lord,

  76. who's going to help me preach today.

  77. Amen. How many is familiar with this story? The queen of Sheba.

  78. Now, she was not in poverty by any stretch of the imagination.

  79. She had wealth. She had riches. She had all of this. Amen.

  80. But I believe that she wanted to know about what Solomon had and if it was real, what she heard.

  81. If the thing, amen, about Solomon was true or not, amen. Man,

  82. this woman didn't come just a short distance.

  83. She didn't just go right to the next town or right to the next county.

  84. Hey man, I heard that it was estimated that it took a year and a half for her

  85. to journey to where Solomon was.

  86. She did not have a nice sports car or the finest aircraft to get her to where Solomon was.

  87. She was on camel. She was with a company, a caravan going through the desert.

  88. Anybody ever been in the desert?

  89. I have, and I don't like it. I was there just a few weeks ago, brother.

  90. Young, I was going through Salt Lake City, and after I passed Salt Lake City,

  91. there was a desert, and I didn't know what to expect.

  92. I just wanted to see some different scenery instead of going my normal route that I go.

  93. And I wish to God I hadn't. I went that way because it was just desert everywhere

  94. you look, and I was just thinking in my mind, God, am I ever going to get out of here?

  95. I just want to get to where I want to get to. I want to get to somewhere where

  96. there's people, somewhere where there's civilization. Amen.

  97. And today, some of us are going through a desert.

  98. Some of us are going through times and hard things in our lives.

  99. And I believe if you just have the determination and the willpower to press

  100. on, that you're going to get where you need to get to.

  101. You're going to reach where you need to get to. Amen.

  102. But this woman was traveling from a far country. She came, amen,

  103. she had heard back in her land of the fame of Solomon, amen.

  104. The Bible talks about Solomon being the wisest that was ever on earth.

  105. There would never be a wiser before him or after him, amen, amen, and he had that going on.

  106. He had plenty of things going on, amen, from the temple to his house and to

  107. so many things you can read about in the scripture of what he had.

  108. He just had it all going on, amen.

  109. And when she found out, she saw this, she said, the half was not told me, amen.

  110. You know, some people can only testify to you in part so much,

  111. but there comes a time and a place where you've got to find out for yourself.

  112. You've got to come to the altar. You've got to come to the realization,

  113. amen, that this God that the preacher preaches about and the singers sing about,

  114. amen, that he really is good.

  115. That he really is amazing, that he really, amen, that he loves me so much,

  116. amen. He doesn't want me to be lacking or empty, amen.

  117. He wants me to have him, have his anointing, have his blessing,

  118. have his touch in my life, amen.

  119. The queen journeys to the king, amen. The queen journeys to the king.

  120. We need to journey to the king today, amen.

  121. If you've been in this 50 years, 60 years, praise the Lord for that,

  122. but we need to keep coming back to the Lord.

  123. We need to keep coming, approaching Him daily, day after day. Amen.

  124. We need to find ourselves approaching Him. And the more we do that, the stronger we become.

  125. Amen. The more fearful we are to the enemy, the more close we get to God. Amen.

  126. We become stronger in God. The more we give ourselves to God,

  127. God will reveal himself to us.

  128. Music.

  129. The book of Acts came, amen, when the children of Israel or the people of God

  130. came to the upper room, amen, 120, they came expecting from God that God would

  131. fill them with his spirit, amen.

  132. They were expecting something great, amen. They came to hear,

  133. amen, and they received from God in the upper room, amen. I want to know,

  134. does Pentecost still thrill you?

  135. Does it still, amen? does it still give you joy? Amen.

  136. God don't want us to be complacent or content.

  137. He wants us to hunger for more. He wants us to thirst for more.

  138. He wants us to desire more. Amen.

  139. Amen. I tell you, it gets better and sweeter as the day goes by. Praise the Lord.

  140. This journey we're on with God, amen, it never gets bad. It never gets less.

  141. Amen. It just gets better and better. and stronger and more powerful.

  142. Praise God for the gift of the Holy Ghost.

  143. Music.

  144. I was 14 years old when I received the Holy Ghost.

  145. I went down to Louisiana to a meeting, amen, and I was on the last night of

  146. the meeting. I said, I'm not going home until I get the Holy Ghost, amen.

  147. And I remember that night, amen, like it was yesterday as I lifted my hands

  148. to God and I began to pray.

  149. And I said, God, I pray that you would fill.

  150. Music.

  151. It'll keep you, amen, that it'll never run out, that it'll never run dry, amen.

  152. It'll keep you day after day after day after day.

  153. Praise God. If anybody has a Holy Ghost, just praise the Lord right now.

  154. Music.

  155. Thank Him for His Spirit, that He gave you His Spirit today.

  156. And there are some in here today that need the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

  157. And we believe right now, amen, that God will pour out his spirit upon your

  158. flesh, upon your children, upon your daughters, upon your sons.

  159. Amen. God wants to do exactly that. Amen.

  160. Amen. This is an experience of a lifetime.

  161. Amen. You've heard of vacation packages. It's an experience of a lifetime,

  162. a cruise for two, six-day cruise. Amen.

  163. Amen. I want to tell you something that tops that, it tops that,

  164. it goes beyond that, amen.

  165. This experience that Sheba, this Queen of Sheba had, amen, it exceeded everything

  166. else that she had ever experienced before, amen.

  167. I heard at one time, I'm not sure if this is completely true, but I heard.

  168. Music.

  169. But few are chosen. You know who the chosen are? They're the ones that listen.

  170. They're the ones that say, you know, I'm going to take God at his word.

  171. If it was good enough for Paul and Silas, it's good enough for me.

  172. I'm going to take God at his word.

  173. Amen. And then I'm going to go tell my family. I'm going to go tell a loved one.

  174. I'm going to show them that there's more to this life than what I've heard.

  175. There's more to this life than what I see.

  176. Amen. God, give us ears to hear what the Spirit is saying in this hour.

  177. Give us eyes to see, Lord.

  178. Let the scales be removed from our eyes, Lord, so that we may truly see your

  179. goodness and your greatness today. Amen.

  180. She communed with Solomon, and Solomon told her everything.

  181. She came there with questions, and she was in doubt.

  182. No doubt she was in doubt, and she had questions, but Solomon answered every question that she had.

  183. Amen. It's amazing how every, I thought this about the Bible before,

  184. everything that you're going through, the Bible has the answer for it.

  185. Everything that you're dealing with, God has the answer that you can read it

  186. right there. You want to know the will of God for your life?

  187. Get a copy of the Bible. Amen. Get a copy of the word of God.

  188. Amen. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that cometh out of the mouth of God.

  189. Amen. And when the word of God goes forth, I wanna be a receiver.

  190. I wanna receive what the preacher is preaching at conference.

  191. I wanna receive what the preacher's preaching at my home church.

  192. I wanna receive what he's got to say because I believe he is in tune with God.

  193. Amen. I wanna have ears to hear in this hour that we're in when there are so

  194. many voices that are shouting.

  195. Music.

  196. God shows himself mightily. Amen. She was at a loss of words. Amen.

  197. Of what she had just experienced. It exceeded everything that she had predetermined in her mind.

  198. Have you ever predetermined something, how it would all pan out in your mind

  199. just to find out that when you actually got there, it was better than you thought?

  200. I have. Sometimes my wife will tell you, I build things up in my mind.

  201. Amen. And I get intimidated sometimes, but I find out after a while that it's

  202. not as bad as I thought it was going to be.

  203. Amen. It was actually better than what I figured in my own mind, how it was going to be.

  204. I like how the scripture talks about in Proverbs, it talks about your thoughts. Amen.

  205. You have many thoughts and you need to just have thoughts. Amen.

  206. How's that verse go. I wish my wife was in here. She's like the Proverbs queen. Amen.

  207. Amen. I wish I'd brought my Bible today. Trust in the Lord. Follow thine heart

  208. and lean not into that own understanding. That's it.

  209. My own understanding gets me in trouble sometimes. Amen.

  210. I can limit God. I can put a tape measure on God.

  211. Say God's only able to do so much. He can't help me with this.

  212. Amen. He can do anything. Amen. He's still a baptizer. He's still a Holy Ghost baptizer.

  213. He still cleanses you. He still washes you white as snow.

  214. He still casts all your trash and your past away.

  215. Amen. Into the sea of forgetfulness and it's covered by the blood. Amen.

  216. I know a God today. I know a God today. I know his name today. His name is Jesus.

  217. Amen. And he has the words of life. Peter said, amen, Peter told the Lord after

  218. the Lord saw that some would left him and deserted him. He said, where can we go? Amen.

  219. Where can we go, Brother Young? Amen. After we've heard this preaching,

  220. after we've heard of this salvation.

  221. Music.

  222. I know one thing about Pentecost, it's not watered down, amen.

  223. It's still just as true today as it was when it was preached on the day of Pentecost.

  224. It's still just as real today, amen. And I heard a preacher say the other day,

  225. of course, he wasn't in truth, amen. He said that all of that stuff,

  226. and he died just a few days ago.

  227. I can't remember his name, Jeremiah or something, amen.

  228. You probably know who I'm talking about. But he did not emphasize the importance

  229. of receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost. He said it was just for the apostles.

  230. Music.

  231. Back 2,000 years. Oh, I wish he'd have came and told me that before I got the Holy Ghost.

  232. Amen. Because I found out different that God filled me with the Holy Ghost.

  233. And God's filled many people in here today with the greatest gift that you could ever receive.

  234. Better than any present that you could ever receive in this world is the gift

  235. of the Holy Ghost. introduced.

  236. Come on, if you got the Holy Ghost, clap your hands unto the Lord.

  237. Thank you, Jesus, for your spirit, Lord. Thank you, Lord, that I got overcoming

  238. power, Lord, that I got power over my adversary, that I am the head and I'm not the tail.

  239. I'm a chosen person because you love me. It's because of his love today. Amen.

  240. And what compelled this woman, I'm not sure how old she was.

  241. Somebody said that Solomon married her.

  242. I don't believe that. I mean, he definitely had many wives and many other things,

  243. but he did not marry her. I don't believe that.

  244. She didn't come there wanting to be married. She came there to find out, is this true?

  245. Amen. About what Solomon has, the temple and all of these things that were mentioned,

  246. the house he built and the meat of his table, the servants, the attendants. It was amazing.

  247. I kind of believe, I kind of picture heaven being the same way. Amen.

  248. Let me tell you today that there's somebody greater in this room than Solomon.

  249. There's somebody greater in the house. Somebody say he's in the house.

  250. Amen. And where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. I can feel him today.

  251. If I come into the house of the Lord expecting today, I can receive from God.

  252. But there is a principality that is at work. Amen.

  253. In this world that sometimes he thinks and he does, he comes to the house of

  254. the Lord to try to intercept what is being spoken from the pulpit.

  255. Amen. Because he knows if you get a hold of this, it'll change your life.

  256. It could possibly change your family and so on and so forth.

  257. He is afraid of you today.

  258. I believe the best is yet to come for every individual that is a believer in Jesus Christ.

  259. I believe that there are good things in store. I believe that we're going to

  260. go beyond this. We're going to have revival.

  261. Amen. We're going to have revival in our homes. We're going to have revival

  262. in our own heart. Amen. We need to have a revival in our own heart. How about that?

  263. Amen. We need to have the revelation of God and his word. Amen.

  264. I want to know you, Lord. I want to seek you, Lord. I want to find you,

  265. Lord, because I've heard, Lord, that it exceeds all of what I predetermined before, Lord.

  266. It went beyond measure. It went beyond limits. It went beyond degree, Lord.

  267. Amen. what so-and-so had, what they experienced in God, I can have for myself.

  268. It's not just for my grandparents or my parents.

  269. Music.

  270. This woman was ready to receive something, a revelation. I know the Holy Ghost

  271. had not been outpoured yet there.

  272. Amen. But you've got to commend this woman for traveling so far to find out

  273. if what she heard was actually truth.

  274. Amen. There's only one truth.

  275. Everything else is false and fabricated. Amen. You've got to have truth.

  276. And that means there's only one church. That means there's not all roads lead

  277. to heaven or all roads lead to Rome.

  278. Only one road leads to heaven. Amen. You don't serve a God who's talking out

  279. of both ends of his mouth. Amen.

  280. He said it very plain. You must be born again of the water and of the spirit.

  281. Amen. And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were with one accord in one place.

  282. Music.

  283. And the Bible says, and suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing

  284. mighty wind, and it filled the house where they were sitting.

  285. Praise God. Hallelujah. I want to see a Pentecostal experience,

  286. amen, like I've never seen before.

  287. Amen. And I want to see it take off here in Indianapolis and let it reverberate

  288. throughout this country because this world needs Jesus Christ.

  289. This world needs to find out, amen.

  290. There's more to Christianity than just going to church.

  291. There's more to Christianity than just being a member of this body or whatever.

  292. Amen. I want to know him exactly as his word declares him. I want to see him face to face.

  293. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

  294. Amen. I can't tell you enough.

  295. Music.

  296. Through 11 says that Solomon asked for a discerning and understanding heart.

  297. He did not ask for riches or long life. He didn't ask for all those things,

  298. even though they were given to him, but he wanted understanding.

  299. Understanding. I think that's important that we ask God for understanding of

  300. what we're reading when we open that Bible up.

  301. Amen. Many times I've read the Bible. I've read different passages of scripture

  302. and I didn't understand what it meant.

  303. Then I went to prayer and asked god to reveal himself to

  304. me through his word and open my understanding to

  305. what he is saying and then he did and he

  306. showed me he pulled away the veil and he showed me amen that

  307. that i must be born again that i must amen live

  308. a separate and holy life that i must come out

  309. from the world and be separate that

  310. i must amen you must be separate and

  311. i'm not trying be a judgmental person by any stretch of

  312. the imagination i talked to a man the other day

  313. and he he believes he's got good morals he's got good ethics

  314. but but he still does a few things he shouldn't he said if i die today i know

  315. where i'm going amen when you get the holy ghost god will change amen the words

  316. that come out of your mouth he will change your intentions and desires He'll change all of that.

  317. And there is no sin going to enter into heaven.

  318. God wants us to be washed white as snow. Cleanse me, Lord. I love what the scripture says.

  319. It says His mercy endureth forever.

  320. Long after I'm gone, long after you're gone, His mercy's still there. But during.

  321. Music.

  322. Turn your mind over to Him, when you turn your heart over to Him,

  323. and you say, here I am, Lord.

  324. I'm ready to listen, God. I'm ready to hear what your Spirit is saying to me, God.

  325. I want to receive all of you that I can receive.

  326. Music.

  327. Amen. How many wants to receive more of Jesus today? How many wants to receive more?

  328. Amen. You cannot improve on God, but you can improve in God.

  329. Let me say that again, kind of came out weird. You can't improve on God.

  330. It don't get better than God, but you can improve in God.

  331. You can improve in your experience and your walk with God.

  332. Amen. You should find yourself going higher and higher and higher and higher in God.

  333. Amen. A while back, Sister Angela down at my dad's church, she said she dreamed

  334. a dream that She saw me going higher and going up steps, and that was encouraging to me.

  335. Amen. I want every one of us to experience that, where we're going higher and

  336. higher and higher in God.

  337. Amen. And understanding God even more and taking God at His word.

  338. Music.

  339. And God in the process will bring His power on us, and He will make us bold

  340. and courageous and strong.

  341. Amen. To face whatever comes our way.

  342. Amen. But you've got to have the power of God, young person,

  343. elderly person, middle-aged person, whoever you are today.

  344. You've got to have the power of God operating in your life.

  345. I want the power of God operating in my life.

  346. Amen. Those Pentecostal people, they're crazy. That's what the world says.

  347. They're wild. They're fanatics. They're beside themselves. Yes.

  348. Amen. Because we lost their mind and we gained the mind of Christ. Amen.

  349. The Bible declares us to be a peculiar and just kind of odd,

  350. you know, peculiar, kind of strange, amen.

  351. It's because, amen, this sweet Holy Ghost, we don't know how to act.

  352. We don't know how to respond sometimes when it hits us, when it's on us,
