Praise the Lord. I'm looking forward to what God is going to do tonight.

Anybody looking forward? You got to have a little anticipation.

Amen. When you go to Texas Roadhouse and you order that food,

you have anticipation before it gets there.

You hope that it's going to be good. Amen.

You think, oh, man, that steak is going to be good or those pork chops, you know.

Those pork chops are going to be good. Amen.

Got David breeding hungry. I know he is. Amen.

Hallelujah. Praise God. Do you have a Bible tonight?

I want to go to the book of Genesis again. We've been there quite a bit.

And I want to look at something tonight. I feel this on my heart tonight.

I'd like your attention.

Time to put the phones away, put your checkbooks away, and listen to the Word of God. Amen?

Amen. The Word of God is where it's all at. Praise the Lord.

And I'd like to talk about tonight the.

The God that we serve. And there's something about God that is very important.

And we need to realize it. Our God is our God is a God of the now.

Very important that we realize God is a God of the now. Amen.

Let's pray one more time. Jesus, we love you. We're going to read a scripture

here in a minute. Lord, we love you. Thank you, Jesus.

Hear our cry tonight. We love you. We love you. We love you.

Hallelujah. Help us with your word tonight, Lord. We feel tonight your word

and feel like you have a word for somebody.

Amen. Amen. Amen.

Turn in your Bible tonight to Genesis 3. Amen.

And let's go to verse 13. Praise God.

If you have it, say amen. Amen. Thanks again for being here.

And I do ask again, you know, you try to be accommodating and you try to be

nice, but let's not forget that we should reverence God's house.

Let's remember that we're in church tonight and let's draw an eye to God because

we are here so the Spirit of God can work in our lives.

Every one of us need God to work in our lives. Doesn't matter how long we've

been saved. Doesn't matter if we're not saved.

Well, it definitely matters if you're not saved, but you want God to work in your life.

Amen. And you're not here by accident, and I'm not here by accident. Amen.

Let's pray. No, we did that already, didn't we? Hallelujah.

Moses said, verse 13, unto God, Behold, when I come to the children unto the

children of Israel, and shall say unto them,

The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you, and they shall say to me, What is his name?

And what shall I say unto them? I chapter three, didn't I? What did I say?

Oh, I'm sorry. Exodus three. I'm sorry.

Exodus three. You're right. I said Genesis, but I meant, I should have said Exodus.

All right, let's start over. Praise the Lord. We're glad everybody's here tonight.

Praise the Lord. Amen. Exodus, I apologize. Exodus 3, 13.

Moses said unto God, behold, when I am come unto the children of Israel.

Everybody has to say amen. Okay.

And shall say unto them, the God of your fathers hath sent me unto you.

And they shall say to me, what is his name? what shall I say unto them?

And God said unto Moses, I am that I am.

And he said, thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel,

I am hath sent me unto you.

And I'd like to preach for a few minutes about the God of the now.

All right. You may be seated. God bless you.

Amen we are so wrapped up sometimes in the future we are so wrapped up in what's going to happen,

we're so wrapped up in how that things are going to unfold and we worry about

whether we're going to have any money next week and if we're going to make it

next week and sometimes we worry so much about the future.

We forget about the blessings of right now. Amen.

We forget about now.

And you know, we can't, the only thing we can do is live in right now,

right now. Somebody say right now.

We have to live in the right now because God, when Moses asked him,

he said, who shall I say sent me?

And he said, tell them I, and he said, before he told him, as he said his name,

he said, I am, has sent me unto you.

The Lord said, I am that I am. In other words, I am right now.

Now, we know the Bible says that he's the same yesterday, today, and forever.

And we know that he is a God of history.

And we know that he is a God of the future. He's the same yesterday,

today, and forever. Amen.

But let me say it tonight. He's the God of right now.

Amen. And there's a scripture that goes along with that that says today is the day of salvation.

Harden not your heart. But today is the day.

We need to live in today. Sometimes we get so worried about the future and we

get so worried about what's going to happen. We forget about right now.

Because let me say this about raising your kids. They're only going to be this little for a while.

And it's so easy to get to think about the future and get wrapped up in things you don't enjoy.

You know, when you look back, how many would say, as I look back and see that

my children are grown, I miss those days and maybe I should have went fishing

more or maybe I should have took them hunting more.

Maybe I should have did this more. And because we were so worried about the

future that we forgot to live in the now.

But I tell you right, God wants us to live and enjoy right now.

Let me say, just because the world's going crazy doesn't mean we can't live

in the now and enjoy living for God right now. Praise the Lord.

You can live for God and enjoy the Lord any day that you live in.

You can have the Holy Ghost any

day that you live in. You can live for God any time. You don't have to.

Many people say, boy, I wish I'd have been around when Jesus walked the streets.

If I'd have saw those miracles, I would have followed him. Maybe you would.

Maybe you wouldn't know. Amen.

But you can't look back. You know, I told you about my buddy, Chris at work.

He said, we were talking about Jesus feeding the 5,000 one day.

And he said, you know, I think I was there. And I said, Chris, you weren't there.

I said, now you can go there in your mind if you want to. He looked at me and

said, what's the difference?

But let me tell you, he wasn't back there. We can read about what happened back

there, but we wasn't back there.

We're right now. It's going on eight o'clock on Sunday night on whatever day

it is. And right now we need to worship God.

Right now we need to praise the Lord.

Right now we need to get right with God. Right now we need to make sure we're in the church.

Right now we need to serve him. Right now we need to praise him.

Can't wait till tomorrow. Don't wait till tomorrow till you get right with God.

Get right with God right now. Praise the Lord.

Get right with God before you leave here tonight. Because one thing about the

future, we're not guaranteed one.

We're not guaranteed tomorrow, folks. We're not guaranteed tomorrow.

And that's not being cryptic or a downer.

That's just a fact. We don't know what tomorrow holds. But we are here right now.

I said we are here right now. We are here in the presence of the Lord right

now, and we can get what we need right now.

If you need a touch from the Lord, don't worry about it tomorrow.

Get it right now. Praise God. If you need a touch from the Lord,

just touch the hem of his garment right now. Praise God.

Just get it right now. Now, that woman saw Jesus coming down the road,

and she had an issue of blood for 12 long years. and she'd been,

listen, she'd had, she, the Bible says she had that issue for 12 long years.

She had an issue of blood and that brought problems into her life.

If the women in those times had that issue of that problem, they were ostracized

and they were supposed to stay outside the camp.

And a lot of things happened in their life. And the Bible says she went to many

physicians and she spent all that she had, but she didn't get better. She got worse.

You know, that's the way it is in the world. People are going to every doctor they can think of.

They're going to, you know, what they call self-medicate.

How many of those people are self-medicating? They don't realize it.

They're drinking Jack Daniels.

They're taking pills. They're doing whatever they do.

They're drinking vodka and martinis and trying to forget their past.

And I ain't got to the past yet.

And they don't, you know, they're worried about the future. But let me tell

you, you can't, you know, self-medicating. You know what you need? You need Dr. Jesus.

Hey, man, we need Dr. Jesus. I said we need Dr. Jesus.

Hallelujah. We need the God of now. Right now he can touch you.

Right now he can do what you need.

Right now you can get what you need from God. Hallelujah.

You can get it right now because he is.

He said, I am that I am.

He didn't say I was that I was. He didn't say I will be what I will be.

Now, all that's in there, but what it is is he exists.

You know, there's a word. We are human beings. We are a being.

Don't let me forget about the woman with the issue of blood, okay? We are beings.

Shakespeare said, to be or not to be.

Right now, we are being. We are human beings.

In other words, we are here right now. We are being who we are right now.

Hope I didn't lose you on that, praise the Lord. But right now you are a being.

In other words, you are existing right now.

Right now, right now, you are a human being. In other words, you are existing.

You are being whoever you are just sitting there.

Look at Steve, he just sitting there being.

He just being Steve sitting there, praise the Lord. He just,

have a little fun tonight. He just sitting there glowing.

He's sitting there like jerry clower said about the boy that wanted to be a

truck driver so bad he got in trouble at school and he wanted to be a truck

driver and he got in trouble jerry clower said the kid was sitting at the desk

and he was sitting there idling.

He was so wrapped up and be a truck driver he was sitting at his desk jerry

clower said what's the old eugene or whatever his name was was sitting at his

desk idling hallelujah Right now, you're sitting there idling.

In other words, your body's pumping. Your blood's pumping.

You're being right now. Right now, right now, right now. You're being somebody,

and God wants to be somebody with you. Hallelujah.

He wants you to have him right now. He don't want you to have him tomorrow.

He wants you to be right with him now.

Today's the day of salvation. You are not guaranteed tomorrow.

But the woman that had an issue of blood, and evidently someone had told her

about Jesus, And so they told her that Jesus is coming down the road.

Maybe she saw him coming down the road. So she was living right then.

She couldn't live 12 years ago. She right then was not the time to think about all her problems.

When Jesus was coming down the road and she was looking at him and realizing

Jesus was there right then, she didn't need to be thinking about her problems in the past.

And let me say, you're in the house of God tonight. Don't let your past keep

you from getting what you need from God right now.

all the ways people had treated her it

wasn't the time to consider all the doctors that

she had been to in the past it wasn't time to think about all now let me say

this to you when you come to God it's not time to think about all the mistakes

you made anybody ever made any mistakes in here tonight every one of us have

done wrong every one of us, we look back,

you know, you listen to, I like to listen on YouTube.

I'll tell you, if I do YouTube, I like to hear interviews.

And I like to hear smart people talk. I like to hear debates.

And I sometimes, I'm not too worried about a movie star or something.

I don't really worry about that. But every once in a while, like,

I like a, like somebody that's real well known in like a singer.

They really have a voice and somebody that writes songs or something,

and they interview them.

But what really aggravates me, they'll say, do you have any regrets?

You know, they're famous. They got a lot of money. And they'll say,

do you have any regrets? And they'll say, no, not a one.

I can't say that. Can you? And I'll tell you this, if they was honest,

they wouldn't say it either.

Hey man, they wouldn't say it either. If they was honest, they'd say,

yeah, I made a lot of mistakes.

You know, old Frankie, he sang the song My Way. I did it my way.

And he even admitted that he had a few regrets.

Don't let your past keep you from the now. Right now, the power of God is available.

Right now, salvation is available.

Right now, forgiveness is available. Right now, a Holy Ghost outpouring is available.

Right now, 8.05 Sunday evening.

Right now, God is here. Right now, you can get what you need.

Don't let your past hold you back from getting what you need right now. Amen.

So she didn't, she's thinking right now, I'm still, I've still got this problem.

I've had it 12 years. Maybe she, she just saw Jesus coming and she knew if she's

going to get it, she's going to get it right now.

Right now is the time. Now, this is interesting. I don't know what she had to do, okay?

Jesus was walking down the street, and he had a crowd of people around him.

And she wanted to get, let me say, if you want to touch Jesus,

you can touch him right now.

And let me say, it's not always easy to touch him, but you can touch him.

I don't know what she did.

I don't know if she got down and crawled or what, because she crawled and got

a hold of him and touched the hem of his garment, and Jesus felt virtue go out of him.

Amen. And he stopped, and he said, who touched me?

They said, wait a minute, Lord, what do you mean who touched you?

Your people all around, you know, your entourage and everybody's bumping against you.

What do you mean who touched you? I don't know what she had to do to get a hold

of Jesus, but she realized right now is my chance.

If I'm going to get healing, I'm going to get it right now.

Amen. And I got to get to him right now. I can't, he might not come this way tomorrow.

He might not be on this road tomorrow. If I'm going to get him.

I got to get him right now. I got to push my way through the crowd.

I got to push my way. Let me say, push your way through your past.

Push your way through your problems.

Push your way through and touch the hem of his garment because right now is

the time. Now is the time.

And she touched him and he healed her and he told her, your faith has made you

whole. there was a man named Bartimaeus. He was blind.

And somebody told him Jesus was coming.

Bartimaeus, Jesus is coming. Oh, you mean that?

And in my mind, he could have said, you mean that guy that heals the sick and

raise the dead? You mean he's coming down the road right now?

Yeah, right now. Here he comes. He's coming around the corner.

He just turned off a Rowena, heading on Murray, praise the Lord.

He's right there. You mean he's coming right now? Right now he's coming? Right now? I can't see.

I don't know how long he'd been blind, but he wanted to see,

and Jesus was coming around the corner, and he realized, hey, I heard about him.

I heard he can work in my life. I heard he can heal me. I better get a hold

of him right now. I better reach out to him right now. Right now is the time.

Here, where, oh, here I feel him.

Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me right now.

And they told him, I said, Bartimaeus, be quiet. Let me tell you something.

Don't let anybody stop you from calling out to the Lord right now.

Don't let any devil stop you.

Don't let any person sitting beside you stop you. Reach out to him right now.

He's the God of right now. Hallelujah.

Hallelujah. Y'all forgive me, but I feel like preaching a little while.

Praise the Lord. Hallelujah.

Blind Bartimaeus, be quiet. Don't you say nothing, man. Calm down. Calm down. Calm down.

Oh, no. He didn't listen to them. He didn't pay any attention to them. Amen.

You know what he did? The Bible said he cried out more. And let me tell you,

don't listen to anybody when they tell you to be quiet, Steve.

Don't you ever stop worshiping God, Steve.

I don't care if everybody else sitting around like bump on a log.

You get up and praise him. You know what he's done for you.

Amen. I don't care. Amen. What anybody else does, I'm going to praise him now.

I'm going to lift him up now because right now I'm delivered.

Right now I've been saved.

Right now he got a hold of my life. Hallelujah.

Woo. Hallelujah.

There he is, Bortimaeus. Right there he is.

Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.

You know, some of you need to call on him right now because you might not have tomorrow.

You might not have tomorrow. You might not feel him like you feel him right

now. Let's raise our hands right now.

Right now, ask God to move right now.

God, let your spirit go up and down these pews right now.

God, we don't want you to move tomorrow. We're not too worried about the revival

of the past. We want you to...

We want you to move right now. We want you, God, right now.

We need you right now to go down these pews. we need

you right now right now hallelujah right

now god you're a god of now our past can't stop us our future we don't know

about we're not guaranteed a future but we know we can get a hold of you right

now we can touch him right now hallelujah we can have him right now hallelujah hallelujah.

Raise their hands one more time. Come on, somebody needs to touch him tonight.

Somebody needs to get a hold of him tonight.

Somebody needs to get the Holy Ghost tonight. Somebody needs to get baptized in Jesus' name tonight.

Somebody needs to get a hold of God right now, right now.

Now we need, you know, sometimes we're not desperate enough.

Sometimes we're not desperate enough.

Sometimes we're satisfied with being unhappy. Sometimes we're satisfied with

not having what we want, And we think that's the way it's got to be.

Amen. Blind Bartimaeus could have just sit there and said, well, that's not for me.

He heals some people, but he don't heal me.

Amen. Right now I'm blind and I'm going to stay blind. But I'm telling you right

now, the God of the now, he can change your situation.

He can change it. He don't have to wait till tomorrow. He can change it right now.

Woo, hallelujah. He can do whatever he wants to do right now.

Amen. And there's nothing that can stop him from moving right now. Hallelujah.

Whoa. He's the God of now. He exists. He is the eternal being. Hallelujah.

He is an eternal being. He is being right now. Whoa.

Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

Blind Bartimaeus, Jesus stopped. What do you want me to do?

Right now, the Lord is talking to you, and he's asking you, what do you want me to do?

Right now, what do you want him to do? Let's raise our hands again.

I feel the Holy Ghost moving a little bit.

Hallelujah. What do you want him to do right now? Right now,

right now, I said, what do you want him to do?

He's the God of now. Don't worry about the future. Don't let the past hold you back.

Come and get what you can get from God right now. Amen. I am that I am. Hallelujah.

I'll always be. I am who I am.

Nobody going to change me. Nobody going to stop me from doing and being what I am. Hallelujah.

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah,

hallelujah, hallelujah.

As the music comes, today is the day. You know, we were satisfied to wait till tomorrow.

This just came to mind. Sometimes people need a job. Well, I'll get a job tomorrow.

No, You need to worry about getting one today.

We're a creature, and we sit back and we wait on tomorrow.

I'm guilty of this. My wife will tell you this. I'm guilty.

Brother Jim, she don't call me Brother Jim. She says, Jim, trash needs taken out.

How many knows what we say? I'll get it later. I'll get it.

That dog's out there the dog's over there and he tore up paper bag in the back room,

i'll get it that's the way we live for god

i'm doing all right today i i'll go to church maybe next week we'll have good

service i'm okay today no what we need to say is we need a good service right

now we need a god of now we i said we need a god of right now amen we need god

to go up and down these streets right now.

I said, right now, we need God to go across the street, get a hold of Chadwick,

get a hold of Isaiah, get a hold of Elizabeth, and get a hold of their heart.

We need God to do it right now.

Right now, we need God to move on to Rob's bosses right now.

Right now, 815, Sunday night, we want God to do it right now.

God is the God of now. Hallelujah.

He can do it right now. We don't have to wait till tomorrow.

Lord right now 815 Sunday night I want you to go to J.R. that's my oldest boy and we call him J.R.

And I want you to deal with him strongly right now you're the God of now and

I want you to talk to him right now I want you to go to Fishers and talk to

my son Daniel right now I want you to get I want you to shake them right now.

I want you to put the power of God in their heart and mind right now.

Anybody got anything you'd like God to do? Come on, let's raise their hand.

Somebody talk to him. Say, God, move right now.

God, you're a God of the now. We don't have to wait until tomorrow.

Amen. You're able to do it right now.

Right now, Lord. go to Tennessee and touch Sister Young's mother right now.

We want to hear the good reports of what God did on Sunday evening at about 8.15.

Anybody believe that can happen? Anybody believe Grandpa Arnold can be better tonight?

Does anybody, let's do it right now. God, we want Grandpa Arnold to be better,

and we ask that you do it right now.

I said we ask that you do it right now.

We don't want to be satisfied waiting on tomorrow we don't want to dwell on

the past we want you to be a god of right now hallelujah come on let's praise

him a little bit hallelujah,

God move right now God right now I said right now you're the God of now well

I want you to talk to ever a backslider that's ever been in this church and

talk to them right now, right now.

Because you're the God of now. You're the God right now. Right now you're God.

We don't have to wait on you to be God tomorrow.

We don't have to look to the past and how wonderful it was. We can have revival right now.

We don't have to wait for 30 years. We don't have to wait for 20 years.

We can have a revival right now.

Right now a genuine move of the Holy Ghost can go up and down these aisles and

slay people in the Spirit right now. Hallelujah.

Right now, God can do it. Right now, God can lay you out in the Holy Ghost. Reach out. Touch him.

Draw nigh to God right now. Reach out and ask God to touch your heart right now.

He's the God of now. I said he's the God of now.

Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Come on, somebody.

Clap your hands for the Lord. He's the God of now. Right now, right now.

He's the God of now. He's the God of now.

And let me say this. Don't think because the world's going crazy.

He's not still God right now. He's still God right now.

He's still in charge right now. He still knows all right now. He's still in control.

I said, he's still in control.

His word will still come to pass. What he has said and what he has proclaimed

and who he is will always be.

It will never change.

Hallelujah. He is holy, high, and lifted up, and he will always be.

He is right now. He has been, and he will always be. That's what he meant when he said, I am that I am.

I feel the Holy Ghost. Amen.

Hallelujah. David didn't say the Lord will be my shepherd.

He didn't say the Lord has been my shepherd. He said the Lord is my shepherd.

He's my shepherd right now. Right now I can call on him.

I'm not going to talk about how much he was my shepherd last week.

And I'm not going to think about him being my shepherd next week.

I'm going to look out there and look at those sheep and say, the Lord is my shepherd.

He is my shepherd.

I said, he is my shepherd. He is my deliverer. He is my helper.

He is my strength. Hallelujah.

He is right now.

The altar's open tonight. Right now in this atmosphere, you can get from God whatever you want.

Anybody want anything? Anybody they need anything? It's not about what we want.

Most of the time with us, it's about what we need, really.

Most of us need something from God. Go ahead and start a song,

gang. Come on, somebody.

Anybody need anything from God? This altar's open right now.

Right now, the power of God is moving right now. Hallelujah.

He can forgive your sins right now. He can look past your past right now.

He can fill you, refill you right now. Amen. He can do it right now.

He is the God of right now. Hallelujah.

Hallelujah. Come on, raise your hands. Let's worship Him. Come on,

anybody else coming to the altar tonight?

Anybody else need to be right with God tonight? You are not guaranteed tomorrow.

You better come and get it now. You better come and get what you can get from God right now.

You better come because He's God right now. He's calling you right now.

He's dealing with you right now. Right now.
