Episode 1

[SPEAKER_00]: I guess with great preachers today like Robert Baron, John Ricardo, Mike Schmitz, or any of the other dozens of excellent preachers, you might wonder why the world needs another talking head, and in reality it probably doesn't.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just fulfilling the dream of an 11-year-old and when I was growing up I used to have a clock radio next to my bedside table and at 5.57 a.m.

[SPEAKER_00]: I would promptly wake up and listen to the three-minute morning diversion.

[SPEAKER_00]: I've come in to greet a few verses from the Bible and then lead a short reflection.

[SPEAKER_00]: Then the alarm would go off at 6 a.m. for my brother and

[SPEAKER_00]: I had many unhappy years at school, but I remember so many moments from those morning reflections that strengthened me with grace and a sense of God's peace to face the day.

[SPEAKER_00]: From even that age, I remember dreaming of being the minister on the other end of that radio.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's 45 years later as I record this, but it's not exactly radio, but it'll do.
