from our pastor and from other ministers, so we hope you enjoy it.
-
Without further ado, let's get right into it. God bless.
-
I said we need God, don't we? Oh, hallelujah. Would you raise your hands with
-
me one more time? Let's reach for the Lord here for a minute.
-
We love you, Jesus. We thank you for your blessings.
-
We thank you, Lord. We thank you, Lord.
-
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Praise God, praise God, praise God.
-
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Holy Jesus. Holy Jesus. Hallelujah.
-
Praise God. Hallelujah. Oh, we love you, Jesus. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
-
Oh, God. Hallelujah. Praise God. Amen. Amen.
-
Amen. Holy God.
-
Praise the Lord. We love you, Jesus. We love you, Jesus.
-
Praise God. Praise God.
-
If you have a Bible tonight and you'd like to go along, let's go to Mark, the 8th chapter.
-
We need the Lord, don't we? I pray, Lord, you know, I don't know what to say.
-
Sometimes I don't know what to say. I don't know what to do.
-
I don't know what's going on in people's heart and mind. But He does, doesn't He?
-
So we just try, I pray, Lord, lead me and guide me and help me.
-
Help me, Lord, to find the right scripture and say the right thing.
-
So we always approach it that way.
-
And verse 34, chapter 8 of the book of Mark.
-
So in that vein, that's what we're trying to do tonight.
-
Let's go to verse 33.
-
He turned about and looked on his disciples, and he rebuked Peter,
-
saying, Get thee behind me, Satan, for thou savest not the things that be of
-
God, but the things that be of men.
-
And when he called the people unto him with his disciples also,
-
he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself,
-
and take up his cross, and follow me.
-
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it.
-
But whosoever shall lose his life for my sake, and the gospel's sake shall save it.
-
For what shall it profit a man if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul?
-
And I want to preach a little bit about tonight saving your life.
-
Save your life. Save in your life in Jesus' name. Let's pray one more time.
-
We love you, Lord. Oh, God. Hallelujah.
-
Oh, help us, Lord. Help us, Lord. Help us, Lord.
-
Oh, we need you, God. We need you, God. Praise the Lord. Praise you, Jesus.
-
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Praise the Lord.
-
Praise the Lord.
-
Amen. You may be seated. Jesus went out and his disciples into the towns of,
-
Caesarea Philippi, and as they were traveling, he asked the people, he said.
-
Who do men say that I am?
-
You know, that lets me know that he was human because, you know,
-
he wanted to know what do people say about me.
-
We all feel that way sometimes. You wonder what somebody thinks about you.
-
And he says, who do men say that I am? What are they saying about me?
-
And they answered and said, well, some said John the Baptist,
-
come back to life, but John the Baptist, but some say Elias or Elijah and others,
-
you're just one of the prophets.
-
And he said unto them, but whom say you that I am?
-
You know, but what do you guys think about me?
-
And that's the question tonight. We can wonder about what a lot of people think
-
about Jesus, but the question is, what do you think about him tonight?
-
What do I think about him tonight? Who do men say that I am,
-
and then who do you say that I am?
-
Two questions there. We know what men say. Men say a lot of different things,
-
but the question is, what do we think about him?
-
Who do we think he is? And Peter answered and said, thou art the Christ.
-
And he charged them that they should tell no man of him.
-
And he began to teach them. This is where we're zeroing in tonight.
-
He said, he began to teach them that the son of man must suffer many things,
-
and be rejected of the elders and of the chief priest and the scribes and be killed.
-
And after three days rise again.
-
And he spake that saying openly. He was telling them.
-
That the Son of Man is going to suffer, going to be rejected.
-
The leaders are going to kill him.
-
And in three days, he's going to rise again. But Peter began to rebuke him.
-
And Peter took him and began to rebuke him. And when he turned,
-
isn't that amazing? You see, Peter didn't understand the ways of God.
-
God's got a way, the old song said, that you can't get over it.
-
And God's got a way that you can't get under it.
-
You've got to come in at the door, the old psalm says. In other words,
-
you've got to do it God's way.
-
There's just no two ways about it for me to be what I want to be and what everybody
-
needs to be. You've got to do it God's way.
-
God's way is the best way. I said God's way is the best way,
-
but his way doesn't always look like what everybody thinks it ought to look like.
-
Because Jesus is talking about suffering and dying, and Peter,
-
as a human, a carnal human, he begins to rebuke him, and he doesn't understand that.
-
And then Jesus turned and rebuked Peter because there's a battle going on in
-
the spirit world, and there's a battle in mindsets going on here.
-
Because Jesus understood what was going to happen, and he understood that the
-
suffering he was going to experience was in the mind of God, in the plan of God.
-
Sometimes things are in God's plan that's not in our plan.
-
And we've got to understand we need to follow God's plan and let God be God.
-
Amen. Let God be God and every man a liar, the Bible says.
-
And he began to rebuke Peter, and he got real strong with Peter.
-
Now, Peter doesn't want him to die, of course. You know, we don't want things
-
to happen, of course, but guess what? Things happen.
-
Things happen that we don't know about. We don't understand in our carnal mind,
-
our carnal thinking. We don't understand it.
-
Amen. And we try to figure it out, but sometimes we just can't figure it out.
-
And Peter was trying to, wait a minute, we don't want you to die.
-
And Peter being, no, no, Lord, you can't die. We don't want you to die.
-
And then Jesus turned around and said, get behind me, Satan. Wow.
-
So Jesus realized that there was a battle going on. And he said,
-
for thou savest not the things that be of God.
-
But the things that be of man. I don't want to savor the things.
-
To, I want to read this in the Amplified. It brings it out good.
-
And he said this freely, frankly, plainly, and explicitly, making it unmistakable.
-
In other words, he let them know that's what was going to happen.
-
And Peter took him by the hand and led him aside. Then facing him, began to rebuke him.
-
But turning around his back to Peter and seeing his disciples,
-
he rebuked Peter, saying, Get behind me, Satan, for you do not have a mind intent
-
on promoting what God wills,
-
but what pleases men.
-
You're not on God's side, but you're on man's side. I'll tell you what,
-
I want to be on God's side.
-
Best place to be is on God's side. Amen.
-
You know, I think it was Abraham Lincoln, they said, they asked him about,
-
I can't remember exactly how the quote went, but Abraham Lincoln said,
-
I don't necessarily want God on my side. I want to be on God's side. Amen.
-
It doesn't have to be my way, just as long as it's God's way.
-
So Jesus then, when he called the people unto his disciples, he said unto them.
-
He's letting us know that he said, if you're going to follow him,
-
if you're going to, Whoever wants to, if anyone intends to come after me,
-
let him deny himself, forget, ignore, disown, and lose sight of himself and his own interest,
-
and take up his cross, and joining me as a disciple and siding with my party,
-
follow with me continually, cleaving steadfastly to me.
-
That's the only way you can serve God is with your whole heart.
-
It's the only way to do it.
-
You want to find yourself? You want to save yourself? Then lose yourself to Jesus.
-
Amen. If you really want to be saved, if you really want to find yourself,
-
and you really want to find your purpose, and you really want to find out
-
who you are, and you really want to discover your potential,
-
then turn your life over to Jesus and let him do the work. Amen.
-
Because Jesus said it like this. Whosoever shall save his life shall lose it.
-
For whoever wants to save his higher spiritual eternal life will lose it,
-
the lower natural temporal life which is lived only on earth.
-
And whoever gives up his life which is lived only on earth for my sake and the
-
gospels will save it. Amen.
-
His higher spiritual life in the eternal kingdom of God
-
the most important thing is and then he goes on to say what shall it profit
-
a man if he gains the whole world and lose his own soul.
-
And another translation another verse in the bible another place where this
-
is quoted what shall it profit a man if he gained the whole world and lose himself,
-
Peter told the people on the day of pentecost he said save yourself from this untoward generation,
-
and i feel in the spirit tonight god's trying to tell somebody save yourself,
-
amen you want to be saved you want to live you want life you want to be happy you want to be,
-
and you want to have all the things that you want peace and joy and all the
-
only way to really get that is to lose yourself for jesus praise the lord Give your heart to God.
-
Surrender to God with all your heart.
-
Let God have it all, praise the Lord.
-
He said, because if you try to save your life, you're going to lose it.
-
If you try to do it, you're going to mess it up.
-
If we try to figure it out, we're going to do something wrong.
-
But the best way to do it is lose your life and let the Lord take care of it and let God work it out.
-
And he said, you'll save your life. Amen.
-
You'll find yourself. You don't
-
have to be in a position of wandering and losing and all that things.
-
He said, if you lose your life, you'll find it.
-
The only way to find what you're really looking for and to find yourself,
-
whoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospels, he said the same shall save it.
-
Can I tell you tonight, save yourself. Can I tell you tonight the only thing
-
you can be stingy about or not stingy, selfish about, you know,
-
we're not supposed to be selfish. we're supposed to be.
-
Jesus said, deny yourself and those type of things. But I want to tell you something.
-
One thing you can be selfish about, that's your salvation, and that's your soul.
-
And the best thing you can do is think about your soul and think about what
-
you really need with God and making sure you've turned it all over to Him,
-
because if you try to save your life, you're going to lose it.
-
A lot of people trying to do it on their own, trying to figure it out on their own, trying to do it.
-
You can buy self-help books. You can spend a lot of money in doing this, and you can do that.
-
But Jesus plainly lets us know, if you really want to find your life,
-
if you really want to save your life, then lose it to him. Praise the Lord.
-
Just give it over to Jesus. Surrender to God.
-
And that's the hardest thing in the world for people to do. I don't know why. I don't know why.
-
I was telling Danny today, we preached out the mission, and I preached that,
-
you know, you need to understand this is real, and you need to think about being
-
saved, and you need to think about where you're going to spend eternity and all those things.
-
And sometimes when you preach like that, you're just like beating your head
-
against the wall because the devil, you see, the devil don't want anybody to,
-
he doesn't want anybody to get saved.
-
He doesn't want God to have his way. But I want to tell you,
-
I'm glad to be around a bunch of people tonight. We want God to have his way.
-
We want God to get a hold of somebody. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.
-
That's why we come and worship God and try to praise him, try to sing,
-
try to do what we can so that we can break down the barriers,
-
amen, that the devil puts up there. Oh, and he puts them up there too.
-
He puts the barriers up there. He'll make us mess up on a song.
-
He'll get the volume all messed up. We're trying to do something good,
-
and the devil gets it all messed up, and then everybody gets their mind on this
-
and gets their mind on this. Oh, boy, I wish they'd sing a different song.
-
And the devil gets our mind going everywhere.
-
When what we all really do is come in here and lose ourselves. Hallelujah.
-
Come in here and just say, Hallelujah. I love you, Jesus. I mean,
-
I love you, Jesus. Just give it over to him. Praise God.
-
Let go of all of our thinking and let go of all of our, and I'm the worst one. I'm the worst one.
-
Because I want everything to go good. I want God to have his way, don't you?
-
I want God to work. I want God to touch somebody. Praise the Lord.
-
I want somebody to get right with God. I want somebody to get the Holy Ghost.
-
I want somebody to get baptized in Jesus' name.
-
Amen. So my mind's going all the time. How can we do better?
-
How can we, you know what we can do? The best thing we can do is just come in
-
here and give it all to Jesus.
-
Just come in here and turn it all over to him. Oh, Lord. Hallelujah.
-
God, have your way, Jesus. Have your way, God.
-
You do however you want to do it, God.
-
Let me just lose myself to you. Hallelujah. Let me just give myself to you.
-
Let me just lay it. They told an old story. I don't know if it's true or not.
-
My old friend Anthony used to say, you've got to watch them when they start telling those stories.
-
But they talked about the Indian that went to revival services,
-
and the preacher was preaching about giving your life to the Lord,
-
and the Indian came up, you know, and he brought his blanket up and laid it
-
down and said, Indian, give God a blanket.
-
You know, he's wanting the Holy Ghost, and he come up and said,
-
Indian, give God a blanket.
-
Well, he didn't get the Holy Ghost and come up and, I don't know,
-
something else, Indian, give God arrows or something, you know,
-
He didn't get the Holy Ghost.
-
He didn't get the Holy Ghost till he come up to the altar and said,
-
"'Indian, give God Indian.'".
-
Amen. We need to give God ourself. We need to turn our life over to God.
-
We need to make sure we pour it out to him and turn it over to him.
-
Because if we try to find it where he lets us, Jesus, you know,
-
when Jesus says things like that, he's letting us know that's the way it is.
-
That's the way it is. When he says, no man can serve two masters.
-
He's saying that because that's the way it is. Not because he's not saying it in the sense.
-
You can't serve two masters. It can't be done.
-
You can't serve two masters. It can't be done.
-
No man, not that man don't, he's not saying, you know, man, everybody thinks
-
they got the ability to straddle the fence or whatever, but Jesus says no man can serve two masters.
-
It can't be done. I don't care what your name is, who your daddy is, who your mommy is.
-
Nobody can straddle the fence with Jesus and be successful.
-
You can't do it. You can't try to straddle the fence. You can't try to ride
-
it and be on both sides of the fence.
-
The best way to do it is just lose it all to Jesus. Amen.
-
Give it all to Jesus.
-
Just give it all to him and let him have the rest of it and just take it all, God.
-
He said, you try to serve two masters, you'll either, eventually you'll love
-
one, hate the other one, or you'll hate one, love the other one.
-
Eventually, you're going to go one way or the other.
-
You're either going to lose your life or you're going to find it.
-
You're either going to lose your life or you're going to find it.
-
That's the way it is. Can't, you know, I can't make it any different.
-
I can't change it. When Jesus says something, let me tell you, that's the way it is.
-
Find out your way and try to figure it all out, you're gonna end up losing out.
-
I don't want anybody to lose out, do you? I don't wanna lose out with God.
-
I wanna find my life. I wanna be saved, don't you?
-
I wanna be happy. I want joy. I want peace.
-
I want all those things that God has for me and for you. And I want it for the church.
-
And church, the best thing we can do to have revival is come in here and just
-
give it all to Jesus. Praise the Lord. Come in here and work.
-
And if we do that we'll find what we're looking for I said we'll find what we're looking for,
-
let's raise our hands right now say Lord help us lose ourself help us give it
-
to you God help us Lord because you said what shall it profit a man if he gained
-
the whole world and lose his self Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
-
Praise the Lord. Who we are,
-
our well-being, our inner person, our self-esteem.
-
Our self. You see, you got to realize what shall it profit if you lose yourself?
-
Lose yourself dignity and lose your worth and lose the reason that God put you
-
here and lose out on spiritual things. And what does it profit a man if he loses his own self?
-
That's your soul, you know, your soul is you, right? I said, your soul is you.
-
What shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his self?
-
Let's raise our hands right now. Come on, somebody. Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
-
Can a man be profitable unto God, as he that is wise may be profitable unto himself, Job said.
-
I've said it is a vain to serve God. And what profit is it that we have kept
-
his ordinance and that we have walked mournfully before him? What does it profit me?
-
What does it do for me? If I, you know, paying my tithes and spending time and
-
I'm giving and I'm trying to walk with God and I give up my time,
-
I drive across town, I make the effort and get up and go to church.
-
And the devil wants to tell us it's not going to profit us anything,
-
but I'm here to tell you it's going to profit everything.
-
I said, it's going to profit everything. You talk about profit.
-
Praise God. You talk about getting ahead when it's all said and done.
-
The Bible talks about shining as the stars in the heavens.
-
They that would be wise are going to shine like the stars in the heavens.
-
Praise God. What does it profit me? What does it do me any good. Praise the Lord. Why?
-
What fruit had yet ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed?
-
For the end of these things is death. Why do people want to hold on to things?
-
Why do people want to hold on to the world? And why do they want to hold on
-
when you talk about letting things go and you talk about serving God?
-
Why do they want to hang on to them? I don't know. I don't know it's a great
-
spiritual battle it's something that's beyond me but the Bible says if you lose
-
it if you let go of it you're going to profit praise the Lord
-
the only way to be right with God and be with God and get the things you want
-
from God is to let go of things
-
you got to let go of things sometimes you got to let God have it praise the
-
Lord you got to lose yourself if you want to save yourself,
-
hallelujah you got to let go sometimes,
-
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. By faith, when Moses,
-
when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter,
-
he had the opportunity to be, you know, he was the son of Pharaoh's daughter.
-
He had the opportunity to have a place in the kingdom of Egypt.
-
He had a, he had a, he had a position he could take and, and he was the general
-
and he, then he knew all about Egypt, but he also had a mother that said,
-
Moses, Egypt's not that big a deal.
-
There's something more important than Egypt, Moses. You're a Hebrew. Hallelujah.
-
Moses, you're a child of God. Hallelujah. Let's raise our hands right now. Hallelujah.
-
Moses, you're a child of God. It's more than Egypt. Praise God.
-
Sure. You could be the son of Pharaoh's daughter.
-
Sure, you could go after those things. Sure, you could hang on to a position.
-
Sure, you could hang on to your own desires.
-
But Moses, the best thing to do is remember, you're a Hebrew, Moses. Praise God.
-
Hallelujah. God's got something for you, Moses.
-
Hallelujah. And the Bible said, choosing rather to suffer affliction with the
-
people of God than to enjoy the pleasure of sin for a season,
-
esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt,
-
for he had respect unto the recompense of reward.
-
He had an understanding of what the reward was going to be.
-
He understood that if he was really going to obtain, pain, he had to let go
-
of Egypt, and he had to let go of that position because there was something greater than Egypt.
-
There was something better to be had, praise the Lord, and he understood it.
-
So he chose rather to suffer the afflictions with the people of God.
-
I'd rather be with the people of God any day. I said, I'd rather be with the people of God any day.
-
Amen. Amen. Amen. Praise God.
-
Let the brother of low decree rejoice that he is exalted, but the rich in that
-
he is made low, because as the flower of the grass, he shall pass away.
-
For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat,
-
but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof faileth, and the grace of
-
the fashion of it perishes, so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.
-
What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul or loses is self.
-
The heart of God tonight is save yourself.
-
Save yourself. Save yourself. Hallelujah.
-
Save yourself. Praise God.
-
Give it all to God. Let God work it out. Come on, somebody.
-
Let God have his way. Praise the Lord. Let God have his way. Praise God.
-
I said, let God have his way. Praise God.
-
Why would you fight God? Why would you fight the things of God?
-
Peter, get behind me, Satan, he said, because you don't savor the things of God.
-
You know, we need to savor the things of God. We need to look at the things
-
of God and give them great esteem and understand the ways of God are the best
-
ways and understand that serving God
-
and surrendering to God is the best way,
-
and esteem and understand the ways of God.
-
That's what we need to be concerned about, are the ways of God.
-
Not so much of the ways of the Republican Party, or the Democratic Party,
-
or the Indiana State Representative, but we need to have an understanding of
-
the ways of God. That's what we need to care about.
-
To think about what God's got in store for us. The Bible says there was a man,
-
I'm going to preach my heart out and then I'll be done. Praise the Lord.
-
He was rich, he was young, and he was a ruler.
-
In this life, in his life, he was rich, he was young, and he's a ruler.
-
He had prestige, he had wealth, and he had youth.
-
That's everything people think that, you know, if you got that in life, you got everything.
-
That's the way people look at it. But he.
-
Thing you lack. Boy, I don't want Jesus looking at me and saying that,
-
do you? I don't want him looking at me and saying you're slacking on one thing.
-
He probably didn't say it like that. He probably just looked at him real nice,
-
real tender, and said, yeah, you kept the law and kept it from your youth up,
-
but there's something you're lacking.
-
And he knew exactly what it was. He knew exactly what he was lacking.
-
And he said, go sell all that you have.
-
Come and follow me. Lose yourself.
-
Lose your prestige.
-
Lose your wealth and follow me.
-
Now, I don't know what the Lord could have had in store for that young man.
-
I don't know what God had in his mind for that young man, if he would have followed
-
him, but I guarantee you he missed out.
-
I said, I guarantee you he missed out because his life, he couldn't lose his life.
-
That was his life. What do you mean sell everything?
-
I can't do that. I can't sell everything I got.
-
I can't follow you. People look down on me if I follow you.
-
Sorrowfully. Can I tell you tonight, it's not the Lord's will for anybody to
-
leave here sorrowfully tonight.
-
He doesn't want anybody to go away from Him sorrowful.
-
He doesn't want anybody to go away from Him not knowing what to do,
-
not how to find their life.
-
He doesn't want you to do that. He wants you to come to Him and find your life.
-
Come to Him and give it to Him and surrender and let God give you the life he
-
wants you to have. Come on, somebody. Help me out here tonight.
-
God's got plans. God's got things, but you got to do it his way.
-
You lose it. You lose your life. He said, try to hang on to this. Try to hang on to this.
-
Dad gave him his inheritance and he took off with his money.
-
He left his dad's house. He went out there and he, with riotous living,
-
the Bible says, he spent his money.
-
He thought he was finding life. He thought he was enjoying himself.
-
He thought, you know, he was going to Vegas, play a little roulette,
-
you know, put it all on red and play cards and chase wine, women,
-
and song. And he He thought he was really fine in his life.
-
But guess what? The Bible says he ended up in the hog pen.
-
And he ended up eating the food that the hogs eat.
-
You know what? He thought he was gaining his life when he asked his dad for his heritage.
-
And he thought he was gaining when he asked his dad to give him his money.
-
But he ended up losing out.
-
But I'm glad tonight as the music comes. I'm glad tonight the father was still
-
waiting on him to come back home.
-
Amen. I'm glad. Hallelujah.
-
Take that fatted calf, that calf we've got saved up for a special occasion,
-
cook that baby up, get him a robe, put a ring on his finger,
-
and restore him back to the life that I want him to have. Amen.
-
I want him to find his life. I want him to have his life, not lose it.
-
Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
-
Came to pass. He said, I got, the servants got it better.
-
At my Father's house than I do right now.
-
Want to give it up earlier, but I think I'll be willing now to go back to my
-
dad's house and say, dad, I'm no more better than a servant.
-
Just let me come back and let me be a servant.
-
But I'm glad God's merciful and God still doesn't.
-
The Bible says the gifts and the callings of God are without repentance.
-
I'm glad that that man knew that he wasn't just a servant. That was his son.
-
He said, you might've went away as my son and you might've ran away,
-
but when you come back, you're still my son. Amen.
-
I said, you're still my son.
-
I said, you're still, he's saying, you're still my son.
-
You're still my son. And I want you to find your life. Save yourself. Save yourself.
-
Let's raise our hands right now. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah,
-
amen. Anybody need to sell out tonight?
-
Anybody need to give it up to the Lord tonight? Anybody trying to hang on to
-
your own ways and do your own thing?
-
Can I tell you tonight the best thing to do is turn your heart over to God,
-
turn your life over to God. Brother Mooney used to say, if you try to plan your
-
life, you're going to come up short.
-
But if you turn it over to God and let God have it, he's going to do more for
-
you in your life than you could ever dream.
-
Amen. Amen. Amen. You're going to have more than you ever thought and more than
-
you ever dreamed if you let God do it.
-
In other words, you'll save your life.
-
Jesus said, I've come that you might have life and that more abundantly.
-
He wants you to have life. He wants you to enjoy life.
-
He wants you to laugh. He wants you to giggle. He wants you to enjoy life.
-
You to have peace. He wants you to have everything you want,
-
but he's got some, I don't know
-
if rule's the right word, he got some ways that we can't go around them.
-
God's got a way that you can't go over,
-
to do it the way he says to do it. Because if you want life.
-
He said, if you want your life, you got to lose your life.
-
If you want to find your life, you got to lose it.
-
That's just the way it is. You know, the Bible says there's a law of sowing and reaping.
-
That God has some laws, natural, spiritual laws. You plant corn, you get corn.
-
And he's got some spiritual laws. He's got some spiritual laws.
-
If you want to find yourself, you got to lose it. No man can serve two masters. That's another one.
-
Can't do it. It can't happen. You can't. No, it's not possible.
-
And oh, wouldn't it be nice if people would just lose themselves for Jesus?
-
Wouldn't it be nice to have a revival?
-
People just give up to Jesus. Say, Lord, it ain't working for me. Let me try it your way.
-
God, work in my heart, work in my life. You see, we got to make him preeminent for one thing.
-
We put a lot of stuff ahead of him. We put a lot of stuff ahead of him.
-
We put a lot of ideas, a lot of principles, a lot of things,
-
a lot of people, a lot of things we put ahead of him.
-
But when we really need to move everything out of the way and make him first,
-
lose yourself to him. Lose yourself.
-
You know, there were some offerings in the Bible. Sometimes the priest got part.
-
Sometimes the people got part. But there was an offering called the whole burnt offering.
-
And that whole burnt offering, God got it all.
-
And I want to tell you, the only way to be successful in God,
-
the only way to really be successful is to give yourself as a whole burnt offering
-
to God and save your life.
-
Go ahead and start with the song tonight.
-
Hallelujah. Peter didn't want him to die. Jesus said, wait a minute,
-
Peter. There's some things of God.
-
Plan of God. There's a way of God that you don't understand, Peter.
-
You're not savoring the way of God. You're not looking at the things of God.
-
You're looking at the things of men.
-
Anybody want to pray tonight? I delivered my heart the best I could tonight.
-
Anybody want to pray? Come on. Give it over to Jesus.
-
The best thing you can do is serve God when you're young serve god as a young
-
person serve god and when you're,
-
middle-aged it don't matter best thing we can do is give it over to god,
-
this is the heartbeat of god tonight.
-
That was a hard saying. And the people went away.
-
And he looked at his disciples and he said, will you go away also?
-
Somebody somebody else still needs to surrender tonight hallelujah touch james tonight,
-

-

-

-
Lord, break down every way of man, oh God, and let your ways be preeminent.
-
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Come on. Come on.
-
Come on, young person. Come on in. Give your light to God tonight.
-
Come on. Come on. Come on.
-
