  1. This is Ronald Hopkins, and thank you for joining the Life Center Church.

  2. What we do is useless.

  3. See, we don't quite understand because by tradition we go to Easter service or resurrection service and then we just play church.

  4. Not understanding that you wouldn't be here if he didn't shed his blood.

  5. You wouldn't have breath in your lungs if he didn't shed his blood.

  6. You wouldn't have a way of escape if he didn't go to hell in your place.

  7. So you wouldn't sit down on him and act like these songs didn't minister to your heart.

  8. If he changed your life, everybody in this room should be on their feet.

  9. And every hand should be lifted.

  10. And every voice is like, thank you, Lord, for sending your blood.

  11. Thank you, Lord, for dying for me.

  12. Thank you, Lord, for paying the price for my life so I can live today.

  13. Thank you, Jesus.

  14. There was an awesome price that was paid for your life.

  15. And we ought to celebrate what he did.

  16. He did a lot.

  17. He endured a lot.

  18. He suffered a lot.

  19. So that you can be here and you can have the freedoms that you have and you can have your right mind.

  20. You can be healed on your body.

  21. He did all that because he loved you.

  22. And what do we do?

  23. We just treat him like it's a regular old day.

  24. No.

  25. And he give he gave you a name.

  26. Then everything has to bow to that name.

  27. Sickness, disease, lack, everything bows down.

  28. And he said, here's free of charge.

  29. Free.

  30. And yet we sit and we don't take advantage of our Christianity.

  31. It is the only religion that the founder can say, I came alive, I died, and I'm risen.

  32. No other religion can say that.

  33. You gotta understand how powerful your God is.

  34. And that song said he is the king of kings.

  35. So when he died, when you became a born-again believer, he made you a king.

  36. And everything has to bow down to the king of kings and to the Lord of Lords.

  37. His name is Jesus.

  38. Thank you, Father, that you paid the price for our lives.

  39. Over 2,000 years ago.

  40. We thank you that you endured.

  41. We thank you that you suffered.

  42. But we thank you that you rose on the third day.

  43. So that we can have the freedoms that we have today.

  44. Now, Father, as we have this time in your word, we're asking that you would minister unto us.

  45. That you would show us truths that are found in your word so that when we believe it, when we receive it, when we act like it's true, then the gates of hell will not prevail against us because we've been picked out, we've been chosen to represent you before the foundation of the world.

  46. Holy Spirit, you're welcome here today.

  47. I'll decrease so that you would increase.

  48. Use my tongue as the pen of a ready rider that will write on the hearts of your people so that their faith won't stand in the wisdom of a man, but that their faith, their trust, their confidence, they would rely solely upon you.

  49. And when it's all said and done, Father, we'll be mindful to lift up our hands and to lift up our voices to give Jesus, the soon and coming King, all the praise, all the honor, and all the glory that's due to his name.

  50. Because you are the only one that sits on the throne of our lives in Jesus' name.

  51. And everybody said, Amen.

  52. Before you see that, why don't you give somebody a high five?

  53. Say, I'm glad that you came to the house of the Lord this morning.

  54. Alright, good to see you all this morning.

  55. This is your first time here at the Life Center Church.

  56. We want to welcome you to our services this morning.

  57. Uh, we had a really good service on Friday night.

  58. It was it was packed in here.

  59. It was more than I expected.

  60. And uh the service went a little different than I anticipated because I had no clock.

  61. You did not you you really had to be here to hear some things that you normally don't hear on the resurrection.

  62. Um 90 minutes, sir.

  63. It was 90 minutes.

  64. Just straight fire.

  65. So I got before the Lord Saturday morning about 3:30, and he changed the message.

  66. So if you were here on Friday, this is a completely different message for a completely different group.

  67. Um, so today, we'll do that at the end, Tina, just because of my time.

  68. Um today, I'm gonna minister on the subject of lessons from the cross.

  69. There are things that we're supposed to learn from the Lord Jesus Christ.

  70. And so going through this, it was eye-opening because when you have light or revelation or understanding, you can see things that nobody else can see.

  71. And when you have understanding or you have light, you are able to do things that nobody else can do because you can see.

  72. And so I saw some things that I hadn't seen before, and I'm gonna share these things with you today.

  73. So, point number one, we're gonna just jump right into this.

  74. Stop trying to pay for a price you cannot afford.

  75. So let's open up to Luke chapter 23.

    Luke 23 chapter mention

  76. There are things that you cannot afford.

  77. It doesn't matter if you're a billionaire, it doesn't matter if you have millions in the bank.

  78. There are certain things you don't have money to purchase.

  79. You cannot purchase your eternity with money.

  80. You cannot purchase love because you have a whole lot of money.

  81. You can purchase lust, but you cannot purchase love.

  82. I can tell where it's going already.

  83. Luke chapter 23, verse number 34.

    Luke 23 chapter mention

  84. Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.

  85. And he parted his raiment and cast his lots.

  86. Notice what Jesus said while he was hanging on the cross, while he was in excruciating pain, while his flesh was ripped wide open, while the Bible says in Isaiah he did not even resemble a man because he was beaten so badly, while he had five-inch nails in his wrist and in his feet.

  87. Jesus cried out to the Father God and said, Father, all these people who didn't understand me, all these people who use me, all these people who were not living for me, all these people who did not believe in me, he said, Father, forgive them.

  88. Thank you, Jesus.

  89. Thank you, Lord.

  90. They don't even know what they're doing.

  91. They don't even know the mistakes that they're making can cost them the rest of their life.

  92. It can cost them to be separated from you forever.

  93. He said, Father, forgive them.

  94. Now, when you think about this word forgive, it's not a partial forgiveness.

  95. This is a complete forgiveness.

  96. So, in other words, no matter what you've done in life, no matter how many mistakes you continuously are making, no matter how many times you fall into sin, no matter how many times you've lied, no matter how many times you've cheated, no matter how many times you've cussed somebody out, no matter how many times you misunderstood somebody, the Father said, forgive them.

  97. See, when you think about really what resurrection Sunday or Easter Sunday is, it's about God forgiving you for what you've done.

  98. I can just talk about me.

  99. Talk about you.

  100. I know what I used to do.

  101. He forgave me from that.

  102. The word forgive means to remove from guilt.

  103. It's not just the feeling of guilt, it's removing the actions that you've committed.

  104. Want that to sink in because nobody in this room is one hundred percent pure.

  105. We all have done some stuff.

  106. We all have said some things that it probably wasn't the nicest thing that came out of our mouths.

  107. Well, sir.

  108. And if you didn't say it, you thought it.

  109. They thought it.

  110. They thought it.

  111. Do you know that God knows your thoughts?

  112. Even your wrong thoughts that you have toward people.

  113. Well, he says, I'm forgiving them for even thinking that way.

  114. Thank you, Jesus.

  115. Thank you, Lord.

  116. And there are thoughts or guilty thoughts or condemning thoughts that whether you want to admit it or not, you've had those condemning thoughts based upon what you've done.

  117. Anybody ever felt guilty about something that you said?

  118. Something that you've done, how you treated somebody, and then you get to the place where you start blaming yourself.

  119. Or you might say, you know better than that, but you continuously do the same thing over, over, and over again.

  120. Well, Jesus was on the cross and he says, Father, forgive them for thinking that way.

  121. Thank you, Jesus.

  122. Forgive them for feeling that way.

  123. Because your feelings can be dangerous.

  124. Listen to this.

  125. Guilt enters as a thought which creates a feeling, and those feelings unfortunately become a reality.

  126. And from that reality, based off of your feelings, is now how you make your decisions.

  127. Many of us have made decisions because we felt a certain way.

  128. I felt that they deserve this, so I'm gonna say it this way.

  129. Sir?

  130. I felt that they had it coming, so I gave it to them.

  131. Okay, maybe me and my wife just the only people talking today.

  132. Your true identity isn't guilt.

  133. Your identification should be you're righteous because of what he did for you.

  134. Stop thinking about what you've done and start focusing in on what he paid the price for you to experience.

  135. Did you realize that sin is a crime?

  136. The word sin is a very simple word, but it's a very dangerous word because we play with sin and think it's okay.

  137. But it's a crime.

  138. It's illegal where God is concerned.

  139. It's a crime where God is concerned to lie.

  140. That's a crime.

  141. It's a crime where God is concerned to curse.

  142. It's a crime where God is concerned to gossip.

  143. It's a sin to get angry at somebody and you don't deal with your anger.

  144. We know that it's a sin to sleep with somebody.

  145. Yeah, we know all those things, but we don't talk about those small little areas that when we sin, you actually should be punished for what you do.

  146. Because sin plus rebellion equals hell.

  147. But yet, Jesus said, no matter what sin you commit, no matter how many times you committed that sin, no matter how many times you weren't honest, no matter how many times you said that you were gonna do the right thing and you still did the wrong thing, no matter how many times you said you were gonna pray and you didn't pray, no matter how many times you promised God that you would do something and you didn't do it, God still said, Father, forgive them.

  148. They know not what they do.

  149. So Resurrection Sunday, the first lesson, it's about you receiving the forgiveness that Jesus paid the price for.

  150. Thank you, Jesus.

  151. Thank you.

  152. You missed a good place to lift up your hands.

  153. You missed a good place to say, thank you, Lord, for forgiving me.

  154. Thank you, Lord, for forgiving me.

  155. Turn to Hebrews chapter 9.

    Hebrews 9 chapter mention

  156. Come on, get into this.

  157. The Father said, Don't punish them.

  158. Punish me instead.

  159. Thank you, Jesus.

  160. My God.

  161. My God.

  162. You know, I have brothers and sisters, and not one time when I got in trouble coming up, did my siblings say, Hold up, Dad, don't don't whoop him.

  163. Whoop me instead.

  164. Not one time.

  165. Jesus says, No, the whooping that you should have got, the punishment that you should have got, do it for me.

  166. So that they don't have to experience that.

  167. Thank you, Jesus.

  168. The time that we should have gone to hell, the time we should have died, Jesus said, I'm gonna go to hell for them.

  169. I'm gonna die for them.

  170. So that they don't have to experience eternal separation from you, Father.

  171. I'm gonna take their place.

  172. Yeah, I'ma, not I am, I'ma take their place.

  173. Hebrews chapter 9.

    Hebrews 9 chapter mention

  174. Think about this.

  175. This was really a flow of singing that song.

  176. So Hebrews chapter 9, verse number 14, it says, How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal spirit offered himself without spot to God?

    Hebrews 9 chapter mention

  177. Notice what the blood of Jesus does, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God.

  178. This word purge means to permanently erase.

  179. There's a difference between deleting something and erasing it.

  180. If you delete something on your computer, it's still in the trash and you can go get it.

  181. It actually still exists.

  182. You can go back and get that document and you can work back on it.

  183. But he used the word purge.

  184. The word purge means to completely wipe it away.

  185. To act like it never existed.

  186. So what he does with your sin and my sin when we miss the mark, the blood of Jesus is always present, and the blood of Jesus was presented to wipe away every sin that you've ever committed.

  187. Thank you, Lord.

  188. The blood of Jesus is what made your mind right.

  189. Thank you, Lord.

  190. The blood of Jesus is what heals your physical body.

  191. It's the blood of Jesus.

  192. It's the blood of Jesus that makes you whole again.

  193. Without Jesus shedding his blood, there is no forgiveness of our sins.

  194. Without Jesus shedding his blood, we're in hell.

  195. Without Jesus shedding his blood, there's no way we can talk to God.

  196. We would need somebody else to talk to God for us.

  197. It's his blood.

  198. It's the blood of Jesus that saves you.

  199. It's the blood of Jesus that delivers you.

  200. It's his blood that makes you come before God as though sin never existed.

  201. It is his blood.

  202. Point number two.

  203. One moment with Jesus will change your eternal destiny.

  204. All you need is one moment with him.

  205. It changes your eternal destiny.

  206. Whether you understand it or not, when you leave this earth, you're going someplace.

  207. You're not coming back as a doll.

  208. You're not being reincarnated as a cat or a lion.

  209. You're not in purgatory.

  210. You're not waiting somewhere.

  211. No.

  212. You're going one of two places.

  213. Whether you believe it or not.

  214. We're living in a time now where there's mass deception, even running through the body of Christ.

  215. Some people will say, I'm in hell.

  216. No.

  217. I'm living in hell right now.

  218. No.

  219. That's a place you don't want to go.

  220. And your security and not going to hell is based off your decision that you make while you have the opportunity.

  221. Luke chapter 23, verse number 43.

    Luke 23 chapter mention

  222. And Jesus said unto him, Two thieves were hanging on the side of Jesus, is a representation of what you see right behind me.

  223. There were two individuals that live wrong.

  224. One mocked Jesus.

  225. If you are who you say you are, come down from here.

  226. You did miracles.

  227. There are believers that don't even believe in miracles.

  228. So how do you believe that Jesus was raised from the dead?

  229. That's a miracle.

  230. So how dare you slap God in the face and say you don't believe everything else?

  231. I have to question whether or not you are actually born again.

  232. See, the issue is your belief system.

  233. And what the enemy is always endeavoring to do is to deceive you so that you don't walk in the fullness of what God provided for you.

  234. It's your belief system that's off.

  235. And the Bible says Satan has blinded your mind.

  236. You can't even see where you're going.

  237. You don't realize that the very breath in your body is a miracle from God.

  238. And yet you don't have faith enough to believe that God can do what he said that he can do.

  239. So guess what?

  240. He won't do what he said he can do in your life because you're not bold enough to believe him.

  241. My Bible told me all.

  242. Things are possible.

  243. You got issues happening in your life right now, and the reason why they're happening, because you're not bold enough to believe God will come through for you.

  244. So, yeah, you might be living or experiencing the ramifications of hell.

  245. Because you choose not to believe.

  246. The moment you start believing what God said, it's possible to change your circumstance around just like that.

  247. He just waiting on you to get in line with him while you're still going to the doctor, and the doctors don't have an answer.

  248. So what will they do?

  249. They'll give you medicine.

  250. Do you know if you look at the word medicine, it's pharmaceutical?

  251. Which means it's witchcraft.

  252. Or different translations.

  253. It's witchcraft.

  254. So your child or you are under a spell and don't even know it.

  255. So you keep going back to the medicine thinking it's gonna heal you.

  256. You know what?

  257. There's only one healer.

  258. His name is Jesus.

  259. He is the healer, not the doctors.

  260. They went to school, they don't know everything.

  261. What you need to do is get another report.

  262. I believe the report of the blah blah blah.

  263. His report says I am healed.

  264. Having a moment with Jesus will change your eternal destiny.

  265. Notice what he said while he was on this cross.

  266. Today, today, Jesus meant what he said.

  267. He said, Today thou shalt be with me in paradise.

  268. There was no waiting period when Jesus died.

  269. The Bible says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

  270. The moment that you close your eyes while you are in this earth, you open up your eyes and you are in paradise.

  271. You are in heaven at that moment.

  272. In fact, when you go through the gospels and you go through the Pauline letters, you will see that when a believer is experiencing symptoms or sickness of disease that's attached itself to their body and their point of death, they don't even die.

  273. They're translated to another city.

  274. And they don't even feel it.

  275. Because death has lost its thing.

  276. Jesus paid the price so that you don't even feel it when you transition, because a spirit doesn't have a feeling.

  277. No, you're the one that's suffering, not them.

  278. The spirit isn't suffering.

  279. When they transition, you gotta understand that heaven isn't just a location.

  280. It's the presence of God.

  281. Sir.

  282. Third lesson.

  283. Feelings are not proof of God's absence.

  284. Let me say that one again.

  285. Feelings are not proof of God's absence.

  286. Go to Matthew chapter 27.

    Matthew 27 chapter mention

  287. Verse number 46.

  288. And it says about the ninth hour, Jesus cried with a loud voice.

  289. So again, these are lessons that Jesus is teaching us while he's on the cross.

  290. We just sang that song.

  291. Teacher.

  292. Rabbi.

  293. So Jesus is always teaching.

  294. We should get to the place where Christianity becomes me following the master's teacher.

  295. You go from being a Christ-like person to being a disciple.

  296. Which means you should be following the master's teaching, and your life should line up with what he's been teaching you.

  297. The issue is you're only a Christian.

  298. You stop growing.

  299. Disciples are always growing.

  300. Disciples are always learning.

  301. Disciples are always saying, I don't know it all.

  302. Teach me, teacher.

  303. So I can be like the teacher, and then turn around and teach somebody else.

  304. That is what the Lord is demanding of his children to do.

  305. To be a teacher and a disciple.

  306. Notice what he said.

  307. Eli, Eli, Eli Sabakhtani.

  308. That is to say, my God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

  309. You know why God forsook Jesus on the cross?

  310. You know why God turned his back to Jesus on the cross?

  311. But he did it for you.

  312. He turned his back on his own son.

  313. For you.

  314. See, you don't understand how important you actually are to God.

  315. How valuable God sees you.

  316. Because what we tend to have a tendency to do is base our value off how other people would see us.

  317. And just because you don't feel God is with you doesn't mean that God left you.

  318. I don't feel like I'm praying and I don't feel like he heard me.

  319. He heard you.

  320. Whether or not you pray the word is going to determine whether or not he responded to you.

  321. What he's asking you to do is to get in line with what he said.

  322. And then he responds.

  323. Remember, God's presence isn't seasonal, it's permanent.

  324. Number four.

  325. You were never meant to carry life alone.

  326. Notice it and say do life alone.

  327. Carry.

  328. Because you're trying to carry things you shouldn't be carrying.

  329. Many of you are concerned about stuff that is not even your business.

  330. But yeah, you've made it your business, and that's the problem.

  331. Now you're trying to handle God's business.

  332. You're not smart enough.

  333. You don't have the right wisdom.

  334. You definitely don't have the money.

  335. So you're trying to handle his business.

  336. Can I ask you a question?

  337. How's that working?

  338. John chapter 19.

    John 19 chapter mention

  339. There is constant care for you in every area of your life when you are allowed.

  340. When you allow him to properly care for you, not everybody else.

  341. That was a word.

  342. He cannot care for you the way you desire him to.

  343. That's what makes sometimes relationships dangerous.

  344. Because you think that he could love you like that.

  345. Or she.

  346. And you look for that in people, and then they let you down.

  347. Then you get hurt.

  348. Then you get disappointed.

  349. Then you don't want to trust anymore.

  350. Then you have this wall up that nobody can penetrate, including God.

  351. Because now we have a tendency to treat God like we do people.

  352. He's not.

  353. So you gotta allow that wall to come down and allow God to come in to care for you and to treat you and to love you and to restore you.

  354. Some of you just need to be restored.

  355. You need God to restore your soul, your emotions, your feelings.

  356. Not a man, not a woman, not your children.

  357. No.

  358. God is the only person that can restore your broken soul.

  359. Thank you, Jesus.

  360. Thank you, Jesus.

  361. That's a part of what Resurrection Sunday is about.

  362. It's restoring you to the place where you're whole.

  363. Nothing missing, nothing lacking, nothing broken.

  364. That time that you were hurt, God sees it.

  365. The time you were disappointed.

  366. They told you that they were gonna do this, and you put all your trust in them, and they didn't come through.

  367. And it hurts you.

  368. God is a person that can restore that and treat you as though it never happened again so that you don't ever have to feel that way.

  369. He's the restorer.

  370. He can restore your broken soul and your broken heart.

  371. Yeah, some of you have a broken heart from somebody.

  372. God wants to heal that today.

  373. If you let him in.

  374. If you open up your heart, he can show you how to be brand new.

  375. Like it never happened.

  376. John chapter 19, verse number 26.

    John 19 chapter mention

  377. It says, When Jesus therefore saw his mother and the disciples standing by, whom he loved, he said unto his mother, Woman, here's your new son.

  378. I'm on the cross, but I'm gonna make sure that when I'm gone, I'm providing provision for you and everything that you would ever need, this individual is gonna take care of you.

  379. Thank you, Jesus.

  380. Jesus was on the cross and he was still concerned about his mother.

  381. Every area of your life God cares about.

  382. No matter how small you might think it is, if you care about it, so does God.

  383. If you're concerned about it, God is concerned about it.

  384. What I began to understand is God's desires that you don't lack in any area of your life.

  385. If you don't have a father, God said, I'll be a father to those who don't have a father.

  386. And then what the Lord will do, oh my gosh, He'll send people that may not be your daddy, but they'll stand in the gap.

  387. That'll meet that need that you made have.

  388. That's God restoring you and giving you what you need so that you can be who He created you to be.

  389. Number five.

  390. He did it for you.

  391. Everything that He did, reason why He came in this earth and lived 33 years, He did it for you.

  392. See, God doesn't reward groups, He rewards individuals.

  393. Let me say that.

  394. He's not gonna reward the church.

  395. No, He's gonna reward the individuals that make up the church.

  396. This is an individual walk.

  397. And you have to understand that God is going to deal with every individual differently because He has so many children in the world and they all have different personalities.

  398. God does not talk to me the same way He talks to my wife.

  399. When He deals with me, He's gonna tell me things one time.

  400. He's not gonna remind me again.

  401. Why?

  402. Because I'm wired that way.

  403. I don't need you to constantly tell me stuff.

  404. I heard you the first time.

  405. I got it.

  406. So God deals with me that way.

  407. For you, He may have to tell you consistently, He may have to remind you.

  408. He may have to give you a vision or a dream to remind you of what He already told you.

  409. Why?

  410. Because you're an individual.

  411. So He did what He did because of you.

  412. Now, John chapter 19, verse number 28, it says after this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished.

    John 19 chapter mention

  413. That the Scripture said, I thirst.

  414. So the sacrifice or the full atonement that was made for your life and my life was paid in full for one purpose.

  415. You and I can be reconciled, or let me say it this way: you and I could now be one with God.

  416. Thank you, Jesus.

  417. I don't know if you caught that.

  418. Daddy, there's no separation between you and God.

  419. You are now one with him.

  420. So everywhere that you go, God goes with you.

  421. Everything that you watch, you're exposing God to.

  422. There is no separation between you and God.

  423. Why?

  424. Because the very God that they were separated from in the Old Testament decided to say, because of the price that was paid, I'm gonna live on the inside of them.

  425. You are one with God.

  426. The sixth lesson.

  427. Finish what you start.

  428. Reading books, but you not even finished the first one.

  429. You started a project at home, and now you're off to the next one.

  430. Jesus started what he finished.

  431. He finished what he started.

  432. I knew that didn't sound right.

  433. John chapter 19.

    John 19 chapter mention

  434. Now there was a vessel full of vinegar, and they filled a sponge with vinegar and put upon the hyssop, and he put it in his mouth.

  435. And when Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, notice what he said while he's on the cross.

  436. It is finished.

  437. And then the Bible says, and he bowed his head, and then he gave up.

  438. He said, It's finished.

  439. He bowed his head and the Spirit of God left his body.

  440. This word, it is finished, means he brought it to completion.

  441. The final transaction that was needed, Jesus said, it's finished.

  442. Jesus yelled out to the Father, I finished my assignment.

  443. Father, I did what you asked me to do.

  444. While he hung on that cross, I really want you to get a picture of this.

  445. Because when it's our time, will you be able to say to the Father, I finished my assignment.

  446. I did it.

  447. I did everything that you asked me to do.

  448. I didn't complain about it.

  449. Jesus says, It's finished.

  450. I did it.

  451. It's complete.

  452. They didn't know you at that time.

  453. But because of the price that I paid, it's finished so that they can have life with you forever.

  454. When Jesus hung on that cross, he was the Lamb, but he was also the priest.

  455. If you go back and you study the ministry of the high priest and their role and their responsibility, they brought sacrifices to the Father so that people can have an opportunity to talk to God once a year.

  456. Think about if you can only talk to God once a year.

  457. So what Jesus was, he was the Lamb.

  458. He was the perfect sacrifice, one who didn't know sin, but received the sins of mankind on him.

  459. And then not only that, he offered his blood.

  460. And because he offered his sinless body and his perfect blood, you can be right with God.

  461. Let me give you the last one.

  462. Will you surrender?

  463. Luke twenty-three, verse forty-six says it this way.

  464. And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into your hands I commend my spirit.

  465. And having said this, he gave up the ghost.

  466. Jesus committed his spirit unto the Father.

  467. He committed his life to him.

  468. The safest place to be is in the hands of God.

  469. My question today as we close, have you committed yourself to him?

  470. Jesus did it.

  471. The reason why we have Resurrection Sunday, Easter Sunday, is because of the Lord Jesus.

  472. The reason why we can go to the Father and pray and have access to Him is because of the Lord Jesus.

  473. Have you committed your life to Him?

  474. I'm not saying coming to church.

  475. That's a part of saying that you commit your life to Him.

  476. Folks who don't go to church really aren't committed to Him.

  477. You can't not love what he loves.

  478. He died for the church.

  479. The church is not a building, the church is a people, it's a gathering.

  480. You can't say that you love God and not love the things of God.

  481. You can't say that you love God and not stand for the things that God stands for.

  482. So my question is, have you really committed to Him?

  483. Are you really sold out?

  484. Like He was sold out to you.

  485. He was willing to give up everything, all the comforts of life, so that you can be comfortable.

  486. I said this on Friday.

  487. He died young so you can live long and strong without anything wrong.

  488. Are you sold out to him?

  489. Every head bowed and every eyes closed in prayer.

  490. We never want to take this for granted.

  491. Because we sometimes pacify our Christianity by not really understanding this awesome price that was paid for all of our lives.

  492. Let's not go through the motions anymore.

  493. Let's really, if we're gonna be Christ-like, be sold out.

  494. Be bold about what you believe.

  495. And you gotta understand that the world will not like you.

  496. They're not gonna accept you.

  497. They didn't accept him.

  498. So why do you think they would accept you when you stand for the truth?

  499. Yes, you're gonna be persecuted.

  500. Yes, they're gonna talk about you, yes, they're gonna laugh at you, but your reward shall be great in heaven, says the Lord.

  501. Don't be moved by the world system and what they think about you.

  502. Think more about what he has already died and paid for so you experience and place less value on what your friends say.

  503. Because maybe they're not your friends.

  504. True friends follow Jesus.

  505. You go back and you read it, Jesus says, That's not my mother, and that's not my father or my brother.

  506. My mother and my father are the ones who do the will of God.

  507. So why every head is bowed and every eye is closed in prayer?

  508. Are you committed to him?

  509. This is not the altar call yet.

  510. Are you committed to him?

  511. Some of you have been in church your whole life.

  512. You sold out to everything else, but you're not really sold out to him.

  513. He sold out to you.

  514. He committed his life to die for you.

  515. Are you willing to do the same thing for him?

  516. Today you're gonna have to make a decision.

  517. Because the time that we're living in now, you don't have time to play.

  518. This thing is wrapping up.

  519. I've learned to live my life for him to be sold out.

  520. I was sold out for the devil and live like it too.

  521. I was on fire for him.

  522. But once I got serious about the things of God, I made that commitment and never looked back.

  523. And there was nothing that anybody can say or anybody can do that can stop me from being on fire for God.

  524. Will you make that commitment today?

  525. So in your heart, you talk to the Lord.

  526. Say, Lord, today, I'm making a decision.

  527. This Easter Sunday, 2026.

  528. I'm gonna commit to you.

  529. I'm gonna commit more time to you.

  530. I'm gonna commit more time, more prayer to you, I'm gonna commit to telling more people about you.

  531. I'm making that decision today.

  532. I am going to sell out to you and for you.

  533. Now, if you believe that in your heart, you're gonna make that decision, I can guarantee your life will never be the same.

  534. Now, while every head is still bowed and every eye is closed in prayer.

  535. If you're not born again, here's the first step.

  536. It's acknowledging Jesus as the Son of God.

  537. So if that's you and you're not born again and you want to get saved, go ahead and lift your hand in the air, we'll pray with and for you today.

  538. You're not saved, you're not saved, you're not sure that you're saved.

  539. If today your heart were to stop beating, where would you go?

  540. You gotta know.

  541. If that's you, go ahead and lift your hand in the air.

  542. Good, good, good.

  543. My second invitation.

  544. Maybe you're out of fellowship.

  545. Maybe at one time you said, Yep, I'm gonna live for God, but maybe you allow sin to come into your life.

  546. The Bible simply says you're broken the fellowship.

  547. You're still God's child, but there's something that comes between you and God.

  548. That's sin.

  549. 1 John 1 9 is for you.

  550. You confess your sin.

  551. God says, I'm faithful, I'm just, I'll forgive you.

  552. Forgiveness is there, but you have to acknowledge it.

  553. And then one thing about God, God will never force you to do things that you don't want to do.

  554. It's your will.

  555. Jesus prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane, Father, not my will, but let your will be done.

  556. So submitting to God is not a bad thing.

  557. If that's you and you're out of fellowship with God, be bold today.

  558. Jesus says, if you're ashamed of me before men, I'll be ashamed of you before my Father which is in heaven.

  559. If that's you, you're out of fellowship today.

  560. You sin in your life.

  561. Go ahead and lift your hand in the air and allow us to pray with and for you today.

  562. Don't leave out of here today, and God forbid that something happens to you.

  563. Unconfessed sin, believe it or not, can put you in hell.

  564. Because you know only know what's right and you know only know what's wrong.

  565. The Bible says to him to know what's right and refuses to do it, that's sin.

  566. We've done a horrible job in church because we make people feel bad about making a decision for Jesus.

  567. I know in my heart, I can't keep going long with this because we gotta end the service.

  568. If that's you, you're out of fellowship.

  569. Lift your hand up today.

  570. Okay, Lord, I can only lead them.

  571. My last invitation is you're here, or maybe you're
