The Holy Spirit Pt. 2

Good to see you all this morning.

I am so glad that it is warm outside.

Now, let's jump right back into this today.

When you are studying the ministry of the Holy Spirit, he'll lead you in different directions.

I'm just staying open because as I was studying this, and it may be next week, it could be today, it depends upon your expectation or your pull.

Depending upon which direction we go in today.

So go back to 1 John chapter 5.

Put your seatbelts on.

Because we're talking about the Holy Spirit.

Yes.

We are nothing without Him.

And when you understand His ministry, His responsibility, He will give you advantages that nobody else would have.

Now, 1 John chapter 5, verse number 7, it says there are three that bear record.

That number three is very unique.

God does things in numbers.

And it will be important that we understand numbers.

I didn't say playing the numbers.

You gotta make things clear.

Don't go out and play three, three, three.

Father, son, holy ghost.

Yeah, and then have the nerve to say, Pastor said this.

So we have to understand that God does things in numbers.

He's very specific.

The number one means something, the number two means something, the number three means something.

And God does everything in threes.

Everything.

I'm gonna get into this next week.

I understand why people don't grow.

Because of what phase the you might be still in the first phase.

You might be in the second phase, or you might be in that third phase.

Depending upon where you are at and your development will determine what level of Holy Spirit you will experience because there are dimensions of Holy Spirit.

Take us there.

So there are three to bear record.

In heaven, notice, in heaven first, there is the Father, that's God, there is the Word, that's Jesus, and then there is the Holy Spirit.

These three operate as one.

They will never argue, they will never contradict each other, they will never fight each other.

They all operate as one, the same way.

Number three, spirit, sow, and body.

But there's always a war that's taken place.

Your mind wants to do something, your spirit wants to do something completely different, and your body wants to take you away from what your spirit is saying.

And so we have to understand how to function as one.

Now, Holy Spirit is a person, he's the third person of the triune nature.

Again, there's God the Father, Jesus the Son, and then there is the Holy Spirit.

He is in charge of the affairs of the kingdom of God, and his ministry and his responsibility is to show you, tell you, and announce to you the things that God has prepared for you.

But if you're not in tune to him, you can just walk the face of the earth and miss out on living life easy.

Life with Holy Ghost was never supposed to be complicated.

No matter what you are facing, even if your marriage is not what you thought it should be, Holy Spirit, when you learn how to stay in tune with him, can make something that's rocky be smooth, be sweatless.

If you're a student here, school is never supposed to be difficult, no matter how challenging your advisor is.

It should be easy because you have the person that's living on the inside of you that knows everything.

He'll teach you even though they don't know how to teach.

Things for us should be easy.

No matter what you're facing right now, you should say, uh-oh.

Tag, you're it.

Your partner knows everything.

Now, point number one, let's get into this.

You don't have to doubt about tomorrow.

Too many of God's people are unsure about what's going to happen tomorrow.

Next week.

Next year, five years from now, ten years from now.

Holy Spirit knows what's going to happen later on today.

Holy Spirit already knows what's going to happen next year.

This time.

Holy Spirit knows when is the time you should get married.

Holy Spirit knows when is the time you should buy a house.

Holy Spirit knows when is the time you should purchase that car.

Holy Spirit knows everything.

But we're not sure because we're not in tune with him.

We question things.

And not just doubt, we go without.

After today, you will no longer doubt.

And then you'll have more than what you need.

Amos chapter three, verse number seven from the New Living Translation says, indeed, the sovereign Lord never does anything.

He never does.

That's action.

Anything until he reveals his plans to his servants.

And he won't do anything until he reveals it to you.

So you gotta have some light so you can see the plan.

He has a specific course that you're supposed to go now.

And it's a course of everything as well.

Everything.

No matter what you are dealing with right now, there's a better way of doing what you do.

He does nothing, nothing, nothing without revealing it to you first.

That would tell you right now, if things aren't well, maybe you haven't listened long enough to find out what he wants you to do.

That's the issue.

We're not paying attention.

Okay, let me give you another one.

Go to John chapter 16.

Heaven isn't caught off guard when things aren't well with you.

You are.

Because you're not in tune.

God is not surprised when things are happening.

He already knows.

Jesus is not surprised.

You are.

How come all three, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, aren't caught off guard, but you are.

It could be you're not listening to the instructions.

John chapter 16, verse number 12, Jesus says, I have yet many things to say unto you.

But you can't hear them right now.

How be it, when he, the spirit of truth, which again is another name for the Holy Spirit.

The Spirit of truth, thank God, he's already come.

Thank God that he's already living on.

You know what?

Even though he does exist, God's people are acting as though he doesn't exist.

The very person that made a decision to submit his life to us by living in us, we don't even listen to him.

Yet he's there to lead, to guide, to instruct, to show, to announce the plan of God.

Gotta listen.

It's important as we wrap up this age that you're not left behind.

I'm not talking about being raptured up.

I'm talking about being left behind and not finishing your assignment.

He will guide you into all truth.

For he should not speak of himself.

But whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak, and this is where we'll camp today.

He will show you a thing.

A thing.

A thing to come.

Babe, before you move on, can I just add something about the listening?

I just want to just kind of add this as well, too, to help you all in your understanding as you prepare to move to see the things to come.

Listening requires positioning.

You have to position yourself to listen.

If you wake up 20 minutes before, if you work at home like I do, 20 minutes before you got to log on, you're not positioning for listening.

Wait, wait, wait, wait.

But sometimes, even when that's the case, they don't wake up 20 minutes, they wake up five minutes.

If you work at home.

If you work from home, roll, roll right out of the bed, turn on the computer, log in.

So you haven't positioned yourself for listening.

Listening requires positioning, so that means that you're gonna have to create time to hear.

Oftentimes what happens is when we wake up at the last minute and we don't actually create time for God, then your day will speak to you louder than the voice of the Lord.

And stop trying to speak to you in the midst of the chaos, in the midst of all the water, in the midst of all the crashes, but you can't hear because what your focus is on everything else because your day has started.

Listen, when you re when you actually position yourself and actually rearrange your day, that the Lord has certain things that he wants you to experience in your day.

But guess what?

The enemy also has set landmine in your day.

And when you take the top of your day to position yourself to listen, then you can actually reroute things that are in your day.

Today, you can reroute five o'clock.

You can reroute 7 30 because maybe the enemy might have had something at 7 30.

A con and it doesn't even have to be deep.

It could have been a conversation that would have completely derailed you.

Just a conversation that have would have brought fear and anxiety.

Just a conversation.

But listening, it requires.

It requires position.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

So this word means to make known.

So Holy Spirit will make known the plan of God for your life.

This word also means to disclose.

What has been planned by God, Holy Spirit will begin to make it known to you.

He will begin to reveal what was covered up.

He'll now take the covers off.

The first area is future realities.

He will make known to you your future.

What's in store for you?

What's God's plan for your life?

Holy Spirit will begin to make it known to you.

That's why people are going to fortune tellers.

But they don't understand that they're cooperating with the demonic because they believe that they know the future.

And we're looking for the supernatural because the Bible says we were made to experience and walk in the supernatural things beyond this natural world.

This natural, there are things and creatures that exist right now, even though you can't see them.

But Holy Spirit, when you are in tune, will show you what's behind your husband acting crazy.

Yeah, he's dabbling into this.

And it's not your responsibility to confront him, it's your responsibility to deal with the creatures.

But if you're not in tune, you'll start fighting with him.

That's the Bible.

Your future.

So there are things and purposes and plans that God has already prepared for you, that is already stored up for you.

Holy Spirit's responsibility is to show you God's plan for your life and to give you a step-by-step plan on how to walk that thing out.

Walk it out and walk it out.

And walk it out.

Think about how important the ministry of Holy Spirit is.

Now let me show you this.

Go to Genesis chapter 41.

God will speak to you in many different ways to get your attention.

Thank you, sir.

Thank you.

Because he's trying to get you to stay on this path or to start walking down the right path.

And you not walking your own path.

So Genesis chapter 41, verse number 22, it says, In my dream.

So here you have a man that wasn't even following God.

God gives a Pharaoh a dream.

So God does speak to you in dreams.

You need to pay attention to those dreams.

Because it is God talking to you, trying to get your attention.

So here God shows up, and this man who wasn't even, think about that, this man wasn't even following God.

But yet God is speaking to him.

So don't even believe the lie to say that God cannot speak to unbelievers.

Remember, it is the Holy Spirit's job to bring conviction to a man or to a woman to get them back on the path.

So he does speak to people who don't know him, people who are far from him.

If he's speaking to them, what makes you think he's not talking to those who are connected to God?

You gotta listen.

You have to listen.

You have to learn how to listen to him to know the difference if it's you, if it's him, or is it the devil?

You have to know, and the more time you spend in his word, the more time you spend, the more sensitive you become to knowing his voice, knowing his word, knowing his plan.

Many of God's people don't even pray long enough.

You all know I just came back from Nigeria and the guy, shout out to Jerry for taking us around.

Jerry said this.

He said, Pastor, I can take you to a place and they will laugh at you, Americans.

Because you don't even pray enough.

They start, they start at three hours.

Somebody said, dang! They start at three hours.

We we barely get 20 minutes in.

We don't even want to get, watch this.

How do you know that, Pastor?

Because half of y'all not on the prayer call.

Could you not, could you not pray with me at least one hour?

So at 6 o'clock in the morning, you still sleeping.

And that's why Jesus says, watch and pray that you enter not into temptation, but your spirit is willing.

Your spirit man is waking you up, saying, Yes, get on that line.

Spend some time praying, not for you, for somebody else.

But your flesh is like snooze.

And just like Peter.

Failed the trap.

Because he listened to his flesh.

Because he didn't want to get up and pray.

He didn't want to die to himself.

He didn't want to crucify his flesh.

The spirit man is always willing to do what the kingdom of God has already planned.

But your flesh will always fight against you.

And because of that, we end up struggling in life when life we're never supposed to struggle.

So here God is talking to a man who's not even following God.

But he had sense enough.

To know when God is speaking, let me search somebody who could help me understand this dream.

You got dreams, and the Lord is speaking to you in the dream.

You won't even bother to write them down.

You don't even try to remember what he said.

You just thought it was, oh yeah, I'm just going to dismiss that.

And yes, you are ignoring the instructions.

And then you wonder why things are not working well.

Because God is talking, you're just not listening.

God is revealing, and you refuse to go down that direction because you're so accustomed to making your own choices.

You have become your own God.

So you think your own thoughts and you're going your own ways.

And then you pray at the last minute because now you're in crisis.

God bailed me out.

Listen, he already bailed you out because he already told you what to do.

He already showed you what to do.

Just listen and obey.

I'm preaching better than you said, amen, this morning.

So God gives this Pharaoh a dream.

And he doesn't understand the dream until he runs into a Joseph.

And Joseph, who knows God, begins to interpret this dream.

It's interesting that God, listen, already knew what was going to happen before it happened.

Let me say it again.

God already knew what was going to happen before it happened.

God knows what's going to happen in your life before it actually happens.

God already knows what's going to happen in your life before it happens.

God already knows what's going to happen in your life before it happens on earth.

So God in heaven already knows the plan for your life in heaven.

So God already has foresight.

And then in this same dream, he goes on to say that the seven years of famine will be worse than the seven years of prosperity.

God saw prosperity in his life before it showed up.

The question now we should be asking ourselves is, how do I see what God sees?

Because God, if you're married, He already sees a marriage made in heaven.

The question is, how are you looking at your marriage?

And based upon how you're perceiving your marriage will determine how your marriage will become.

God already sees you as a millionaire.

Because in my Bible, I read, it says, I will make you in the book of Ezekiel, I will make you a millionaire.

The issue is, do you see yourself in the reality of heaven, or do you see yourself in the natural?

Because it'll determine how you talk.

And who you hang around.

Because broke folks hang around broke folks.

You don't find people with resources hanging around folks who begging.

You need to get you some new friends.

Watch this.

He will show you upcoming events.

He will warn you.

I want this to kind of settle in.

He will warn you ahead of time what is going to happen before it happens.

He will tell you, you shouldn't be involved with her.

You shouldn't be involved with him.

They don't have the right intention.

He'll show you, and you'll have to make a decision whether you want to be emotional, all in lust, because it's not love.

He'll show you.

He will warn you.

Just a matter of will you ignore the warning?

Okay, let me give an example of this.

Go to Acts chapter 27.

This is a story of the apostle Paul who already knew what was going to happen before it happened.

God warned him.

He warned him.

Some of you get ready to make a decision.

You want to take some time to listen before you make your choice.

Acts chapter 27.

Acts 27 · chapter mention

The apostle Paul had a date with someone.

He had to stand before a particular individual.

That was God's plan for his life.

Anything beyond that was not part of God's plan, which is what we're getting ready to read.

Acts chapter 27, verse number 10.

Acts 27 · chapter mention

The apostle Paul said, Man, I believe there is trouble ahead.

The King James uses this word.

I perceive.

The word perceive simply means it's a knowing.

So Holy Spirit will give you on the inside a knowing that something isn't right.

You don't know in your mind what it is.

It's a knowing.

It's a warning by Holy Spirit telling you, no, don't do that.

Don't go in that direction.

Don't say this.

Don't connect there.

Disconnect there.

It's a warning.

See, the issue is we're looking for signs.

And we want confirmation from other things or other people.

Instead of following this conviction, this knowing on the inside.

See, there are individuals who are sharp in these areas where they are seers.

They see things in the spirit.

I am a knower.

There are things that I know.

I may not say anything to you, but I know on the inside.

And the more and more again you stay in the book.

The more and more you pray, the more and more you know.

The more and more you pray, the more and more you know.

You can become sharper in your knowing.

So the apostle Paul perceived in his spirit that there was danger ahead before the danger showed up.

I'm gonna let that sink in for a moment.

Because the enemy will set traps for you to keep you off the path and the plan that God has for you.

But Holy Spirit is living on the inside of you so that you can perceive.

You can know.

You can avoid a lot of issues when you take the time to listen.

We're in a hurry to do everything.

We're in this world, but we shouldn't act like we're of this world.

We should take the time to consult with him about everything.

You know, I had a conversation, and I've been having this conversation with multiple people about them being at a particular place, and I'll say it, where they're not growing spiritually.

That should be a no-brainer.

That if you're at a place where you're not growing spiritually, why are you still there?

Comfort.

You got relationships.

If they're your real friends, if they're godly friends, then it doesn't matter where you go.

See, the issue is they have a soul tie, and you can have a soul tie to a church.

Even though you're not growing, I'm showing you from the scripture that the Holy Spirit has already dealt with people about making decisions for your spiritual growth and spiritual development.

Because why are you calling me, asking me questions when you can't get to your pastor?

If you're at a place like that and you're watching online and you cannot consult with your pastor, you're in the wrong place.

They have been sent, we have been sent to serve the people.

So if you cannot touch your pastor, there's a problem.

They have lost what they've been sent to do, which is to serve, not you serve me.

It's very dangerous that we're living in this time where we're not listening to the instructions of the Holy Ghost.

Let me give you the next one.

Divine insight ahead of time.

So there must be preparation before you panic.

People panic because you don't prepare.

And they don't prepare because they have not listened.

And now we are reacting.

When a crisis happens, now you want to pray.

When all hell was broken loose, now you want God to intervene.

Should never be that way.

Because Holy Spirit will give you divine insight ahead of time.

Divine insight is supernatural insight before other people understand.

Before everybody else can see it, you've already seen it.

Now, Holy Spirit downloaded this next part.

Tina, you don't have it.

This is a part of divine insight.

So a supernatural insight before other people understand it, then you have the ability to use wisdom to navigate daily life, hard choices, relationships, or difficult times.

So he'll give you supernatural eyesight to see things that other people don't see.

And then he'll download his wisdom on the inside of you to show you what to do.

Go to Genesis chapter 6.

This is all through the word.

Genesis chapter 6.

We all know the story of this man called Noah.

God already knew that there was something called rain.

But nobody else had ever seen it because it never rained before.

So God gives this man supernatural insight before anybody else can understand what was happening.

So God tells this man, hey Noah, the earth is getting ready to be destroyed.

So I want you to make an ark.

Because it's getting ready to rain.

And nobody understood what Noah was doing or what was about to happen.

So I'm pretty sure they laughed at a man that was building a boat to help his family escape from the drama that was getting ready to happen.

Build an ark.

Before the storm happens.

So you can be safe.

So you and your family can survive.

Hey, save money.

You have to prepare before a crisis happens.

God will reveal to you what to do so that you can be ready and you are not caught off God.

Stop living, reactive living.

You have to prepare.

There is a right solution to every circumstance that you would ever face in life.

Point number two.

Don't underestimate the greatest spiritual force in the kingdom of God.

We underestimate this force, this spiritual force, and I'm going to show you in a minute.

Go to Romans chapter five.

Don't underestimate this.

You have to place value on this.

You have to pay attention to what I'm about to show you.

Romans chapter five.

It says, and hope maketh not ashamed.

Because the love of God is shared abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost, which is given unto us.

So Holy Spirit takes the love of God.

He takes the same love that Jesus demonstrated, for God so loved the world that he gave.

Listen to this.

The proof of your spiritual maturity is in how much power you demonstrate.

It's demonstrated in how much you love others.

You want to function in the power.

But your level of spiritual maturity isn't even based off of your revelation or your ability to teach the word.

Your level of spiritual maturity is based upon how much you can love somebody.

Not that you can quote scriptures.

Spiritual maturity, and that's what God is looking for.

Truth be told, none of us deserved it.

And it still didn't stop Z.

From going to the cross.

So who are you to make that determination?

Are you God?

Listen to me, folks.

The answer to all of your problem in life is not that you need more money.

It's not the fact that you need to be patient with people.

The answer to every problem in life in this world, the government hasn't figured it out.

The answer to every problem that you will ever face in life is L O Vall.

When you learn how to walk in this agape kind of love that's living on the inside of you, the opinions of other people won't mean anything to you.

What they say about you has no value.

You're not moved by that because it's not rooted in the love of God.

That is the answer to your problem.

You want to win your spouse?

Quit arguing.

Love them back to life.

You want to win your children?

Love them back to life.

That is the answer to everything.

And 1 Corinthians chapter 13 says, without love, you ain't nothing.

You just talking.

You talking real loud, but you're not demonstrating any love.

You're not even saying nothing.

It's love.

It's love.

Okay, go to Matthew chapter 5.

Let me show it to you then.

See, the reason why you don't trust people anymore is because you fell out of love with God.

It's not them.

It's you fell out of love with God.

Because if I love God, I'm going to love you.

It goes hand in hand, folks.

It's I'm here because I'm so much in love with God and I'm receiving his love for as freely I receive.

The only thing I have to give out is what I'm receiving from him.

The reason why you're struggling is because you stopped receiving from him and then you're giving out of yourself.

And you're running out.

You're empty.

Because they ran over you.

So yes, you ran out.

But remember, we just sang this song.

His love.

His love never runs out.

He's chasing after you.

And when you learn how to chase after him, oh my, oh.

You're in a love affair with him.

So now, as I'm receiving love from him, all I'm doing is giving it away.

So then I become free.

They're talking about you, but I'm not moved by that because he's talking about me too.

So I'm receiving what he's saying, and I'm dismissing what you're saying.

Oh it's it's this love.

It's this love.

Listen, I'm in this love thing with God.

It's just it's I'm convinced of this love that God has for me.

And he's constantly showing me.

It's this love thing.

This this love thing, I'm trying to tell you, it's it's it's real.

When you know that you know that you know, I know some stuff.

I know how much God loves me.

I know how much He's thinking about me, how much He's provided for me.

So if somebody is not talking that love talk, I'm not even listening to anything that you're saying.

Why?

Because I have a shield up.

It's a love shield that protects me from foolishness.

Foolishness.

Okay, Matthew chapter 5.

Matthew 5 · chapter mention

The Amplified Jesus says, You have heard that it was said, you shall love your neighbor, your fellow man, and hate your enemy.

No, Jesus says, Love.

That is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for people who don't like you.

And then he said, all those folks who've been talking about you, who've been lying on you, take some time and you pray for them.

So that, so that, so that, why are you doing this?

So that you you you show yourselves to be the children of your father who's in heaven.

So wait a second.

If I'm not doing this, I'm showing who my real daddy is.

There's only two fathers, folks.

I know we may have a natural father, which is good, but there's really only two fathers.

There is God the Father, and then there's Satan.

So either God is your father, and you demonstrate, you demonstrate, you demonstrate who your father is, either God is your daddy, or Satan is your daddy, based upon how you live your life.

So how you live your life will tell everybody who your daddy is.

Look at your neighbor and say, Who's your daddy?

Uh-huh.

Oh, yeah.

We're running out of time.

Let me say this.

The greatest miracle is loving someone who wounded you.

You want to lay hands on somebody and they recover.

You want to lay hands and their eyes open.

No, the greatest miracle that can be performed in your life is you love somebody who wounded you.

Yeah, that that that person that that said stuff about you that wasn't even true.

That person who who who hurt you, and you know it hurt, and every time you see them, it reminds you of what they said and what they did.

The greatest love you can can manifest, the miracle that you can manifest is if you love them.

Yeah, that person that that hurt you 10 years ago, you still carrying it right now, today?

Oh, no.

Love them to life.

Love them to life.

Love them to lie.

Because when you love them, it'll provide life for you.

I said I was gonna talk about the Nigeria trip, so I'm gonna I'm gonna say this statement.

Ooh.

A person who truly knows the love of God, it becomes difficult for the devil to imitate you because your identity grows where love is understood.

It becomes difficult for you to believe the lie when you understand the love.

The reason why we fall for the lie is because you don't really understand the love.

You understand the love, and the lies will lie there.

They won't have any more life in you, they will just lie dormant on the ground.

They won't take root in your heart because love is in your heart and not a lie.

If Satan can get you to question who you are, he can influence how you live.

How you think, how you respond, what you say, what you can have, because your identity determines your behavior.

Let me give you this and then we'll close.

Go to Ephesians chapter 1.

Ephesians 1 · chapter mention

See, when you understand this love, you understand your identification, rejection will have no power in your life.

Some of you feel rejected from people because you don't fully know who you are, and you wanted the approval of somebody, it could have been your parents, and that still was a wound to you today.

If you experience the love, the rejection from a man won't mean anything.

Because you'll have a real man.

See, that's been the issue.

You've been messing with these counterfeits.

You didn't realize that a real man can demonstrate real love.

You thought they were real because they just have a natural body.

That's not demonstrating the love.

You need the love from the father because he says, I will be a father to the fatherless.

So he'll father you the way you need to be fathered, and he'll love you the way you need to be loved.

Now, let's close here.

Go to Ephesians chapter one.

Ephesians chapter one.

My clock lady saying I got three minutes.

That's why we when we walk into our own spot.

Services won't be at 8 30.

I can just tell you that right now.

We'll move, watch this.

We'll move it back and watch the masses come in.

Overflow.

You know the reason why the multitudes followed Jesus?

Because he had something to say.

Or it wasn't copied from somebody else.

It was fresh from heaven.

So that the people could now eat and get full.

So because they got full, they kept coming back for more.

Ephesians chapter one.

Verse number four says, according as he had chosen us, key word, in him.

He chose us.

He picked you out.

There's nothing wrong with you.

And put you in him.

So that in him you would have everything that you would ever need to exist and to enjoy life.

It's not apart from him, it's in him.

So your identification is not in your color.

It's not in your your democratic party.

It's in him.

It's not even in the government.

I'm not sure why believers get mad when the gas prices go up.

I've just identified who you are.

You're not in him, you're in the world.

So now you think like the world, you act like the world, and you talk like the world.

No.

Your money is found in him.

He says, according as he had chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love, having predestinated us into the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself according to the good pleasure of his will.

You know what he says?

He said, You've been adopted into the family of God.

You are now God's daughter, and now everything that you need, your father has it for you.

You are wanted by God, you are loved by God, and everything that you would ever need, desire is found and will be provided by you from the Father.

Man, you ought to lift your hands up.

Thank you, Father, for loving us, for chasing after us, for pursuing us, for providing for us.

This week, you would focus more on the covenant of God than you have relationships with people.

This week, sell out to God.

And whatever area, sell out to Him.

Have a scriptural mindset based upon what you're doing.

And when you continue to do that, you'll see that Holy Spirit will begin to start talking to you more and more louder and louder.

It'll become crystal clear on the inside.
