The Holy Spirit Pt. 3

This is Ronald Hopkins, and thank you for joining the Life Center Church.

It's very power that raised Jesus from the dead.

That literally, if things are not working right in your life, at any moment, that resurrection power can stir it up.

I don't know if we have light on being born again.

Like if we fully embrace that, if we fully walked in that, you would never tolerate sickness.

You would never tolerate lack.

You would never tolerate stress, anxiety, fear.

You wouldn't all your needs will be met when you really understand this being born from above.

Like he he recreated you and recreated your life and recreated your mind and recreated your body so that everything is fresh and everything is new.

If you really understood that resurrection power, man, you wake up and give the devil hell every single day.

You wake up and say, Lord, this is a day that you made, one I've never seen before.

So I'ma rejoice, I'ma be glad, I'ma be excited about it today.

It's another day for me to spend with you.

Man, if you understood that and we didn't just play church, going through the motions, if you understand that, that you're actually dead so that you can live.

And the problem is we don't understand this death, so we don't understand life.

You have to act like you're already dead so that you can live.

When you understand that death has no power over your life.

And anything about the ramifications of death, not sin.

You ought to lift up your hand and say, Father, I thank you.

I'm born again.

All right, there we go.

There we go.

Father, thank you.

Thank you, Lord, that we have the privilege and the honor to know you.

And that was the Apostle Paul's prayer for the church.

We would know you.

And the power of your resurrection.

That resurrection power is the Holy Ghost.

We honor you, Father, today.

We recognize Jesus as the head of the church, but we also honor you, Holy Spirit.

So have your way today.

Move up and down every aisle.

Minister even to those that are watching online because we know that there is no distance in the realm of the Spirit.

And you're here today to make the difference on whatever your people would need.

So I'll decrease so that you would increase.

Have your way today.

When it's all said and done, we'll be mindful to lift up our hands, lift up our voices to give Jesus all the praise, all the honor, all the glory that's due to his name and the name that's above every name.

That we pray.

And everybody has an agreement with this prayer say it today.

Amen.

There's some ringing in this a little bit, Mayanna.

We've been ministering on the subject of Holy Spirit.

And I remember at the end of 2025, I inquired of the Lord about 2026.

And he began to talk to me about a series of messages so that your life at the end of 2026 will look totally different than 2025.

And this is one of these messages where you don't want to miss learning about the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

You know, it's interesting that when you train your body, because your body can be trained, you can train your body to do what it's supposed to do.

Even when it goes against how you feel.

And so I've been consistent with this waking up at four o'clock in the morning.

You and me both.

You and me both.

Even on the weekend when I I believe I'm gonna get some sleep.

I'm like, Lord, can I just at least stay in the bed till six o'clock?

Every morning at 3:30.

When you train your body, your body automatically knows what to do.

Sunday I kind of stay, you know, in the bed until about 5, 353 this morning.

And the Lord began to share some things with me.

And so it's important as we're gonna talk about some things today, that you learn how to discipline your body.

This is the excuse that many people give that it's too early.

When you look at the Lord Jesus and the time that he was arrested and the time that he was crucified, the Bible did not tell us that he even went to sleep.

And yet people will say that 8 30 in the morning is actually too early.

When you look at what Jesus endured without getting any sleep, you mean to tell me getting up at 6 o'clock in the morning is too early for him?

When he paid the price for you so you could be free?

Don't ever make the excuse of you can't pray.

Because what happens is that when the Lord is waking you up in the we times of the morning, he's asking you to do something for him.

And we have to make that decision that it's an honor, sir, that you've asked me to do anything for you.

And I'm I am committed to the assignment.

Because it would be your lack of commitment for him that will determine your lack of freedom.

Now, 1 John chapter 5, verse number 7, it says there are three, we started talking about this last week.

1 John 5 · chapter mention

There are three that bear record in heaven.

There's the Father, that's God, there's the Word, that's Jesus, and then there is the Holy Spirit.

Thank you, Jesus.

And it says, these three are one.

So underline this word three if you still have your Bible.

I don't know if people, you should still use your Bible.

This this word, three, is a very interesting word because God does everything in threes.

I made a statement last week when we first started, God is into numbers.

And we have to understand God's numerical system because he has a numerical system and he uses numbers.

And it's all throughout the word.

In fact, there's a book that's called Numbers.

God is into numbers.

Don't get it twisted.

Let me just say this, not you plan the numbers.

But he is into numbers.

Now, let me start here.

This word three.

It means being complete, it means resurrection.

It means fullness.

So God does everything in threes.

Jesus was crucified in the third hour.

Jesus rose on the third day.

There is God the Father, there's Jesus the Son, and then there's the Holy Spirit.

How many is that?

There is spirit, soul, and body.

How many is that?

There were three crosses when Jesus was crucified.

Peter denied Jesus how many times?

Peter also said he loved Jesus how many times?

How many days was Jonah in the belly?

When Paul met Jesus on the road to Damascus, the Bible says he was blind.

Show us.

God does everything in threes.

Let me give you another witness.

Go to Romans chapter 12.

Romans 12 · chapter mention

Let's get into this.

Because you have to understand if God does everything in threes, where are you at?

In the three.

Because that is going to determine the level of progression that you have in your life.

Now, Romans chapter 12, verse number 1 says, I beseech you, brethren, by the mercies of God that you present your bodies a living sacrifice.

Romans 12 · chapter mention

That's a word right there.

Watch this.

Holy and acceptable unto God.

Which is your reasonable service.

And then watch verse number two.

Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Watch this succession.

That you might prove the good, the acceptable, and the perfect will of God.

There is three again.

So you could, as a believer, be walking in what's good.

You could also settle for what's acceptable.

Or you could be walking in the perfect will of God.

Threes.

Watch this.

There is Egypt.

There is the wilderness.

And then there's the promised land.

I'll give you something even in the natural because the world will copy what God has already done.

There's elementary school.

There's middle school.

And then there's high school.

Threes.

Oh, let's continue.

So you graduate from high school and then you go to college and you get your bachelor's degree.

You go from getting your bachelor's degree, then you get your master's degree.

And from your master's degree, you get a PhD.

That's a succession of three.

So God does everything in threes.

The question you have to now ask yourself, where are you at?

So in Scripture, there is, what we'll we'll see how far we get today, there is the whale level.

And then there's the rain.

You're on one of these levels or one of these dimensions.

And what I'm going to show you today, most believers are still at the water level.

Okay?

Point number one.

You must protect your private supply.

I'm going to make some strong statements today to grow you up.

One of the greatest mistakes for believers is that they are living publicly with an empty private life.

You want to live a certain way on the outside.

Or you have a facade on the outside.

But on the inside, you're empty.

Go to John chapter four.

John chapter four.

Verse number fourteen.

Jesus says this.

But whosoever drinketh of this water that I shall give him shall never thirst.

But the water that I shall give him shall be the key word.

In him.

A well of water springing up into everlasting life.

So when you and I are at this well level, this level is all about salvation.

It's all about when a person is, we sang it today, being born again.

You've accepted Jesus as your Lord, your master, and your Savior.

And the Spirit of God now resides and lives on the inside of every person that has done that.

Am I talking to the right group today?

This well level is all about your personal development.

This is internal.

This is your spiritual condition.

This is where you have inward strength.

This is where you walk in your own personal revelation.

This is where you have hidden on the inside spiritual strength.

It's what you're doing when nobody else is watching you.

Go to Matthew chapter six.

I got to build my case today.

Because many people are trying to fix external outcomes while ignoring internal corruption.

And your private life will determine your public force.

So many times we don't have any force because of what we lack to do when nobody else is watching.

I would even say this you're not even being attacked by the enemy.

Because according to my Bible, he's already defeated.

The issue is you're underdeveloped.

Matthew chapter six.

Let me show you a kingdom law here.

Matthew chapter six, verse number five.

And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites.

For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by other folks.

Truly, I tell you, they've received their full reward.

Their reward is other people are paying attention to what they're doing.

But Jesus says, but when you pray, go into the room, close the door, and pray to the Father who is unseen.

Then your father, who sees what is done in secret.

He sees what you're doing in secret.

He sees what you're doing when nobody else is around.

He's the one that will reward you for what you do in secret.

If your private life is empty, the pressure of life will start to expose you.

So at this whale level, it's all about your development.

And when you think about it, a natural well by itself is hidden.

You can't see what God is doing underneath.

It's not for public display.

It's for private survival.

It's your Spiritual reservoir.

What are you doing throughout the day?

How much time are you meditating on the word?

How much time are you studying the word?

Okay, go to Ephesians chapter three.

Many believers are staying at this level, and it's not God's fault.

You don't quite understand that God is working beneath the system when you start working.

He's actually growing you up, and you cannot see that he's developing you because you don't understand how he's working.

He's working in the unseen while you're working, paying attention to his works.

Ephesians chapter 3, verse number 16.

Ephesians 3 · chapter mention

This is the Apostle Paul.

This is his prayer that he may grant you out of the riches of his glory to be strengthened, spiritually energized with power through his spirit.

So the strength of your inner man determines the stability of your life.

That's the word.

So you're shaky in here, and because you're shaky in here, you're going to be shaky out here.

Because you are not sure in here, it's going to produce uncertainty out here.

Because you are confused in here, you're going to be confused out here.

Before you have public victories, there must be first private strength.

And listen to me, whales don't just appear.

You've got to start digging.

So you stay at this level.

Thank you, Jesus.

How much time are you reading and studying the book?

These are just basic, fundamental, one-on-one Christianity principles, but yet God's people are not reading his love letter to them.

We're not paying attention to his instructions, his ways, his methods, his formulas, his way of doing what he does.

And then we end up struggling in life because we don't open up the book.

We don't read the book.

We don't study the book.

Didn't Paul write to his young protege, Timothy?

And he said, Timothy, study.

Study.

You have to study the word of God.

You want manifestation in a particular area.

My question is, how much light do you have in that area?

See, watch this.

You can study on healing and not get healed.

There's no study.

You're just reading.

You can read on prayer and never have any power.

Because all you're doing is just consuming information.

And because you've only consume information, there is no transformation.

Because if there's transformation, you will now have understanding.

Too many people are casually just not even reading the word.

Let's just start there.

Talking about studying.

Pick up the Bible and read.

Can I add something?

Can I add something?

Oh, is that a yes?

Oh, that's a yes.

Really, really, really, really quickly.

I want I want you all to see the landscape of this.

There's a reason why oftentimes when you get ready to pray, all of a sudden you pray and two seconds in.

So what you have to do is you have to fight against opposition.

Absolutely.

This is not like, this is not an uncommon thing.

This is actually something really that's going on in the spirit realm.

So when you sit down and read your Bible, next thing you know you're making a grocery list.

That's not, that's not um, that's by design from the enemy because he wants he doesn't want you to get into this book.

The Bible tells us that after the word of God is done, so the pastor teaches the word, it's a defeat comes immediately and with force.

Could it be that maybe he has seen something that you have not seen because he was there with the father?

That's right.

So when you see these things happen, just be mindful that there's opposition and you have to be intentional.

Like if you gotta shake yourself, you gotta take a shower.

I remember um that one preacher, he stood on the side of a bathtub because every time that he went to go read the word of God, he would fall asleep.

So he was doing everything he could until he locked himself into that pattern to be able to be able to pay attention, to be able to pay attention.

It's opposition, and it's done on purpose, so you have to fight it with force.

It's it's opposition.

When there's personal notice, personal engagement, when you take this personally, personally, not me and my spouse, this is a personal engagement that I'm gonna have with God.

When you take and when you make that decision, he'll take you deeper.

You'll have understanding.

Now, I wrote this, those who won't seek to understand will be left standing.

You must seek to understand.

Go to Mark chapter one.

Let me show you this.

But no power.

It's surface Christianity, but no power.

No transformation.

It's going through the motions.

I mentioned this in the twelve without having emotions.

Jesus showed us the motto.

He went to prayer and came out with power.

How can you say that you prayed and you come out with no power?

Who did you pray to?

What God did you talk to?

Remember, 2 Corinthians chapter 4 says the God of this world have blinded the minds of those that don't believe.

So there are different types of God.

I'm not sure if you're praying to Jehovah, the self-existing one.

Because when you come out of prayer based upon this model right here, there should be some evident power that's coming out of you, and there should be transformation.

How can you come out of the presence of God and still cussing your spouse out?

Because every time that I've seen people come out of the presence of God, Moses, his entire image was changed.

He spent 40 days in the presence of God, and they recognize there's something different about this man.

You take the disciples.

How are you gonna say I have a prayer life and you're still acting like a fool?

I question whether or not you know how to pray.

I'm questioning whether or not you actually pray.

Because when you pray, you should come out with power.

Okay?

Mark chapter 1, verse number 35, in the morning, rising up, rising up a great while before midnight.

Mark 1 · chapter mention

Jesus got up before the sun.

Thank you, Lord.

Before the sun.

And he went out.

And he departed into a solitary place, and there he prayed.

And Simon and they that were with him followed after him.

And when they had found him, they said, All men are seeking after you.

And he said unto them, Let us go into the next town.

Jesus, ooh, that I may preach there also.

For therefore, this is the reason why I came.

He understood his assignment.

How you get into your assignment is connected to your prayer life.

Many of God's people are lost in this world because you don't have a prayer life and you're trying to figure things out.

What am I trying to do?

Where am I supposed to go?

How am I supposed to do this?

Your way of being where God wants you to be is you being able to pray and hear from Him.

Your purpose is connected to your prayer life.

The next step that you're supposed to take is connected to you spending time with God to find out what am I supposed to do?

How am I supposed to do it?

Remember, we're talking about the ministry of the Holy Ghost.

He's supposed to tell you.

That's his job, that's his ministry.

The issue is we're paying attention to everything and everybody else.

Because if we pulled out your phone and check how much scroll time, how much time you have been on social media, how much time you read whatever you read on your phone, you probably spend more time on your phone than you do talking to the one who gave the man the idea to create the phone.

Verse 39, and he preached in the synagogues.

Notice, before he preached, he prayed.

Before he ministered, he prayed.

He didn't just do anything he wanted to do because he felt like it.

He prayed and got the instructions.

And the Lord told him what to say and where to go.

He prayed privately and he came out with power.

Watch this.

What do you do then?

He preached in the synagogues throughout all Galilee and watch what he did because he operated in power.

This is probably the reason why there are people that say that believers cannot be demonized.

I understand why.

Because you probably, number one, have not read the scriptures, and number two, you probably don't have a prayer life.

Because if you had a prayer life, then when you pray, you come out with power, and then you deal with these creatures.

Because the Bible says that Jesus prayed and he came out with power to do what?

Cast out devils.

So you have people and you have churches saying that this does not exist.

No power.

Because you don't have a prayer life.

And you're not in the book.

Because the book is real clear.

He prayed and came out with power.

Thank you, Father.

I can tell you excited about that.

Let me give you another witness.

Is that clock right?

I'm gonna give you this example because I want to get to these next two.

David.

You go to 1 Samuel chapter 17.

1 Samuel 17 · chapter mention

He understood how to defeat Goliath.

It wasn't anything new.

It's what he had already practiced.

His private life prepared him for his public assignment.

There are things that are in your heart that you want to do.

If you don't prepare privately, then you don't get the opportunity to perform publicly.

There has to be a level of preparation.

You go back and you read this, you will see what David did.

He defeated a lion, a tiger, a bear.

Yeah, oh my.

So when Goliath showed up, it was not an issue for him.

It didn't matter how big, listen, it didn't matter how big the storm or how big the giant was.

It meant nothing to him because of what he was doing privately.

See, the issue is people are struggling in their faith because they're trying to believe God for thousands of dollars.

But you have not learned how to believe God and develop your faith for five dollars.

The principle is still the same.

It's faith, it's trust.

Regardless of whatever the need is, start where you're at.

Now, point number two.

Because in order to get to this river, you've got to develop in the well.

Most people are stuck at the well and they don't get to the river.

It's all about kingdom impact, not church attendance.

John chapter 7, verse number 38, Jesus says, In the last days, the day of that great feast, Jesus stood in Christ, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink.

John 7 · chapter mention

He that believeth on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

But this he spake of the Spirit, which they that believed on him should receive.

For the Holy Ghost was not yet given, because that Jesus was not yet glorified.

Thank God that Jesus went to the cross.

Jesus rose from the dead, and he's right now seated at the right hand of the Father, forever making intercession for us, so that the Comforter has now come.

But he said there's a river, and the river is for impact.

The well is for you to develop.

The river is now for impact.

He called us to live in his presence, but he also called us to release his power.

It's for impact.

It's for now you doing something for somebody else.

One of the greatest tragedies in the life of a born-again believer is to be a Christian with no power.

The outcome of your life is determined by your commitment.

Your commitment to God's principles, not dependent on human systems.

To have information without revelation leads to frustration and stagnation.

Oh no manifestation, and that's a formula.

There's stagnation in your life.

A river brings life to other people.

A river is doing something for somebody else.

It's where now you understand that you are nothing but a channel to be used by God.

And many of God's people haven't made it here because they're still developing.

They still haven't learned self-control.

They're still Selfish.

Not willing to do.

Not willing to serve.

Let me say that again.

Not willing to do.

Not willing to serve.

You don't understand.

At this point, you should be a channel.

Lord, use me.

I'm willing to do whatever you want me to do.

I'm willing to go wherever you want me to go.

I'm willing to say what you want me to say.

Swatto, that's why Jesus, one of the reasons he's not back yet.

Because the church of the Lord Jesus Christ is still sitting on a B.O.

Not fully understanding that when you stand before Him, you're either going to get your heavenly reward or your stuff is going to burn up.

See, I understood this years ago.

Twenty plus years ago, we were in Bible school.

I said to the Lord, I'll go wherever you want me to go.

I'll do whatever you want me to do.

It doesn't matter.

Use me, Lord.

I don't know if I fully understood that.

But I meant it from my heart.

And six moves later.

Six moves later.

West Coast.

Down south.

East Coast.

But I understood that I had one boss.

I work for him.

And if he said, do this.

I understood sonship.

Because from the motto Jesus, he only did what the Father told him to do.

Was it comfortable for Jesus?

But he obeyed.

Temporarily.

Came into this earth suit and died.

But you also have to understand that because he was willing to do that, he was rewarded for what he did for the Father.

So there is a reward that God has for you when you obey.

You are not called to exist for yourself.

To get married, have kids.

No.

You exist for other people.

Most people don't get to this level because it's all about what you can achieve.

Your little investments one day will burn up.

You can't take any of that stuff to heaven.

You can't take that.

That's not the mode of transportation in heaven.

You are a dispenser.

Someone who receives from God, then gives away what he receives.

So if I receive love from God daily, I should be dispensing his love to every person I come in contact with.

If I'm receiving from God his wisdom, I should be giving his wisdom to other people without looking for anything in return.

Now, how much of your life is flowing toward other people?

Let's just stop right there and evaluate our own lives.

How much of you are you giving away to somebody else?

A lot.

In fact, when you go back and you look at the scripture, when people came out of the presence of Jesus, they were better.

When people come out of your presence, if you are a dispenser, after they have conversation with you, are they better?

Or are they worse?

That determines whether or not you have been a dispenser from God, or you just been dispensing some junk.

So there are levels in this.

Point number three.

Ooh.

A believer who operates as a dispenser and a river has solutions to problems.

Because you're receiving from him.

And as you receive from him, he understands what's happening, and now he's downloading the answer to the world's problems.

So what happens is that they've got to come to the one who has the answer.

Number three.

Do you want more?

Because in order to get to this level, there's something that you need.

It's called rain.

Come on, sir.

It's it's rain.

There's not a lot of people that that operate on this rain level.

Go to Habakkuk chapter 3.

Habakkuk 3 · chapter mention

Because in order to get to this rain level, you have to go beyond religious routines.

You're just going through the motions of prayer.

That's that's not gonna work.

You can get there.

Nah.

There's there's gotta be something else where this is concerned.

The rain?

You go from your development, then you go from a place where you are a dispenser, and then you operate in this rain.

Habakkuk chapter 3, verse number 2 says, O Lord, I have heard thy speech and I was afraid.

Habakkuk 3 · chapter mention

O Lord, revive, key word, thy work in the midst of the years.

In the midst of the years, make known in wrath, remembering mercy.

This word revive means to make alive again.

It means to restore strength.

It means to renew your spiritual life.

When you operate in this reign, you become a move of God.

When you operate in this reign, not only are you becoming a move of God, you are constantly withdrawing and returning to God to get more.

When God becomes real to you, you won't chase after folks or things.

He now becomes what you go after, what you hunger after, what you thirst after.

Revival isn't about excitement.

It's simply this.

When you are consumed with God, you're consumed that all you do all throughout the day, you might be working.

You're just thinking about God.

I'm thinking about the Word, I'm thinking about Holy Ghost, I'm thinking about Jesus.

I'm thinking about how can I get this information that's changed my life?

How can I get it to this person next to me that I know it's in hell?

You're consumed with this, you are carrying this fire.

And nothing and nobody can put it out.

It's when you're going hard after God, it's when you become a God chaser.

And then you understand that if I'm chasing after God, God is chasing after me.

And because God is chasing after me, it's this love affair with you and God, and it never stops.

It's when you when you wake up early in the morning to spend time with Him.

Amen.

Because you want to live.

Because it's what you desire.

Because you want to teach that.

Catherine Kuhlman said this: there has to be a reality of eternity for God's people.

You believe that there's a heaven, but you don't live like heaven exists.

So the question is, in order to get to this reign level, what's holding you back?

Requestion, requestion.

Because we're living like there's more time.

You are teaching?

You're living, but you're not living like time is running out.

When you're on fire for God, you will be just like the early disciples when he told them, go into all the world and preach the gospel.

They didn't waste time.

Go where?

Go to Ethiopia?

Go to Africa?

Why?

Because that was an assignment from the king.

And they said to the king, Yes, sir, I'll go at all costs, even if it cost me my life.

It's just rain.

It's just rain.

What about when you praise?

Do you praise, but I don't know if you praise like you're standing in front of the one who adores your praise?

He's just going through the motions.

That's right.

If you stood before him, because that's what's going to happen when we check out of this body.

What do you think that's happened in heaven?

It's a praise party.

It's a worship party.

And we just when you're on fire, that fire will consume you.

And it'll consume everything around you.

It'll burn stuff up that shouldn't be there.

You just wake up on fire.

When you're at this place, you're consumed with evangelism.

That will explain, Gail, why people don't come out.

They're not on fire for God.

Because if you're on fire for God, you will help quench the fire that people will go down.

Matthew chapter 5, we'll close here.

When you're on fire for God, when you're operating in this rain, man, his word will be your daily bread.

You will eat the word before you eat a meal.

I must get into the word and get spiritual fast food will keep you in the wilderness.

Notice what Jesus says.

Blessed are they which do.

In order to get to this rain level, you're going to have to be hungry.

Hungry and thirsty.

You gotta want this.

You gotta go after this.

You're gonna have to.

There's a cost to this.

It's gonna cost you something.

What are you willing to give up?

Lately I've been listening to the old school generals.

And I've been listening to Catherine Kuhlman.

And I've been hearing there's a price you must pay to walk in greater power.

And every time I get up in the morning, because I've been placing this on the inside of me, I've been meditating on this throughout the day, this is what I hear.

Pay the price.

Pay the price.

So I get up and I pay the price.

She'll tell you.

In fact, Nick will tell you.

I didn't know that I was waking them up.

He said, I might as well come upstairs with you because you waking me up.

There's a price that has to be paid.

If you pay the price, if you die to yourself, you're not losing anything.

You're actually gaining.

See what's at stake, folks, is eternity.

We don't talk about eternity enough.

That's forever.

The mind cannot comprehend.

There is life after earth.

It's how you're going to spend your life forever.

And a new body, new clothes, a new home, and how you receive is based on what you do while you're here.

Yeah, if you're born again, you'll go to heaven, absolutely.

But what kind of clothes are you gonna wear?

How was the mansion that Jesus paid for for you?

How is it?

What level are you living on?

Levels are determined in heaven based upon, because we've heard this.
