amen nothing works like the local church

works and a local church works way a

local church is designed to work amen

amen well good morning great to see you

today hopefully you're having a great

day it's been a great week at Life

Church and uh and we had a great Revival

night on uh Wednesday night we'll do

another one of those coming this next uh

Wednesday uh at the Brookfield campus

Pastor Dylan will be speaking be a great

night and uh there were people I left

about 10 o'clock they were still people

in the altars and just a great move of

God and then if you looked on the

socials at all just we had I don't know

60 or so young adults at our house uh

and so I you know growing up in the

South man this is something that you'll

get a kick out and laugh about but um so

I do this deal I'm going hey you know if

you want to come tomorrow night we're

just going to do a two-hour Bible study

and prayer there's no worship I'm not

feeding you anything don't bring food

into my house you know what I'm talking

about and uh and so all that kind of a

deal I'm an old man I go to bed like at

8:30 at night I'm going to stay up till

10:00 for you so then you better get you

know you don't have to go home but you

can't stay here kind of a deal and um so

anyhow then I'm thinking I don't know

how many like are going to show up but

there are a lot of and so I go to Ryan

the next day I just say hey man I okay

so growing up in the South like we just

basically have like slab on grade

foundation so it's just concrete but

like there's a basement below is there

like a a weight limit on how many people

can be cuz I just thought would that not

you know cuz like you see the videos of

like Decks that give way almost called

Scott M and just say hey man is there

like a weight limit like a I mean I'm

Googling this stuff I'm like oh Lord Oh

Lord just don't let these kids get

excited and jump you know all at once

because then we're all in the basement I

mean there we are so but uh thank the

Lord the trust is held amen and uh so

anyhow but uh but just uh just a great

move of the Lord this week and so again

I just encourage you uh God's doing

something special if that's what you

want from the Lord uh then I just

encourage you if your schedule allows

you to to come and to be a part this

Wednesday night at Brookfield at 6:30

and we're going to continue on with this

and then the following week it's at

Milwaukee and so forth and so on but uh

today I want to continue our message our

series on the way so if you have your

Bible I want you turn with me to Mark's

gospel chapter one I'm going to do one

verse and then I'm going to give you

multiple verses today uh but we're

talking about how Jesus said he's the

way the truth and life and if we follow

him he is the way but in doing that we

want to stay in the way not get in the

way but we want to stay in the way we

want to stay in following with him and

so we talked about what that begins to

look like last week and now we're going

to continue on in this series today and

and so uh today is we're talking about

the way of devotion so if you take a

notes you can write that down the way of

devotion I'm going to talk to you about

the power of Prayer in your life and so

if you're a person that prays regularly

you are a minority according to

statistics uh but uh but you know you're

you you you will just say man this won't

be if you are like oh man he's going to

talk about that spiritual discipline of

yes that's where I'm going and so I'm

not going to beat up on you I'm not

going to do that but I'm going to kind

of end the service with the way that

I've never done before anywhere and uh

but but Mark's gospel chapter 1 we see

this Jesus again we're following him in

this series in the way and we see a this

is a regular habit of Jesus in Mark's

gospel chap 1:35 says this and Rising

very early in the

morning while it was still dark he

departed and went out to a desolate

place and there he prayed Rising very

early in the morning while it was still

dark he departed and went out to a

desolate place and there he play prayed

now we live in an age and a day and age

of

unprecedented

distraction um there has never been with

the invention of the smart phone there

has never been more accessibility to

information in the palm of your hand

than any other time in history there's

never been more distraction in your

world to be able to do anything wherever

whatever you want to do anywhere in the

world you basically with a smartphone

can do everything you you I mean you you

can read the Bible you can book your

next vacation you can buy a car uh you

can you can research that car you're

going to buy you can buy a h i mean you

can buy a house you can you can do a

loan you can do all your banking you

don't ever have to interact with anybody

I mean you just you have you can see

what everybody in the world's doing you

can you you can watch any sporting event

you want to watch you you can you can do

anything any number of things it's it's

it's it's endless what you can do so the

distractions and we wonder why sometimes

man I can't get anything done and I

can't do this and occasionally I don't

know if your smartphone does this but

like hey your screen time is

considerably up this week or down this

week like it wants to know like what's

wrong like you've been the neglecting me

so I won't let you know right don't you

wish the Holy Spirit would do that he

does it's called conviction but we kind

of push over o did I go there wow okay

anyhow but I'm just like you know but

the deal is is God wants our full

attention and that's very difficult in

the world that we live in I'm not here

to beat you up I'm here to give you a

plan and a strategy on how to navigate

through how to resist the distractions

in order to follow devotion because

here's what I know you don't get up in

the morning go I really hope I'm

distracted today you don't get up today

going I really hope I waste three hours

on social media today you don't get up

and go man I just hope I have nothing to

account for my time at the end of the

week I no no one ever says that's just I

I really don't want to well I guess

maybe there are some people but but not

you right you you are here you're live

you're in person you're you're at a

campus you're you're connecting you're

you're involved you you want

to and so how do you do this the very

simple answer is

prayer and you go oh great yeah that's

great awesome you would of course would

say that Pastor you're the pastor of the

church you're going to talking to us

about prayer because prayer is very easy

for you it's not uh it's it's a

discipline like anything else it starts

with desire and then goes to a form of

discipline and then and then you begin

to find seasons of delight and then

there are just Seasons where it's a

desert and then it kind of goes back to

that process again of desire and then

there's seasons of discipline and then

there's seasons of of delight and then

there's season it's a it's a desert and

then it repeats itself this is what it

means and and the more responsibility

you have and the more pressure you have

and the more it seems like the less and

it's just how do you do this let's go

back to what Jesus did so first of all

we see here a Mark's gospel and we see

it throughout the gospels of Matthew

Mark Luke and John but what we just read

today Jesus valued

prayer Jesus valued

prayer so what is prayer then because

again some sometimes our ideas of prayer

are very churchy very religious very

whatever what is prayer prayer is just

simply I'm going to give you just three

little statements here first of all and

I don't think they're going to be on the

screen but prayer is talking to

God it's simply talking to God it's it's

a point where you're just spilling your

heart out to God you're just simply

talking to him the way I'm talking to

you the way you talk to someone on the

phone the way you know uh it's just

you're just talking to God you can do

that anywhere pray you can do that as

you're walking you can do that in in in

and kneeling at an altar you can do that

on your way to work or driving here or

there you you can do that sitting on

your back porch uh drinking coffee you

you you can you it doesn't the the the

posture or the place doesn't matter it's

just talking to God uh the other prayer

is talking with God so it's a

conversation and I don't mean this in a

spooky weird way so don't don't think

I'm going down some like granola

Christian rap right so fruit slakes and

nuts kind of a deal but it's a

conversation with god where God begins

to speak to

you if sometimes you will just slow your

roll a little bit and just kind of be

quiet be still and know that I am God

David says in the Old Testament God will

reveal himself and will speak and many

times it's not like in the most

cataclysmic uh uh uh uh exciting ways

but it's kind of like what Isaiah says

it's in that still small voice of the

Holy Spirit

but it's just this conversation where I

just go God I don't know I God I'm I'm

asking God I'm seeking and you just sit

there and and it's what is prayer prayer

so prayer is talking to God prayer is

talking with God prayer is listening to

God sometimes it's just God begins to

download wisdom and insight in your

prayer time this is what was happening

with Jesus John's gospel will go on to

record that Jesus would simply when he

was ask what he's doing throughout the

course of the day who he's healing

because he's not healing everybody he's

not raising everybody from the dead Reon

why when he goes to that graveyard he

says elus come forth he calls him by

name because if he would have simply

said come forth every dead body in the

graveyard would have come forth would

that not have been

crazy right because there's no power

under heaven but but by the name of

Jesus but he he has all power he's God

he's God in flesh and so the power that

spoke this world into existence is now

speaking death to come come back to life

and to walk out of the

grave and so there are times where

you're just simply listening to God and

he is beginning to download to you and

beginning this this wisdom of here's

what you're doing and here's what's

going on and here's what's happening and

all of a sudden things began to just

kind of come together in your prayer

time it's just coming together you're

just and he will give you this is and so

John's gospel records that Jesus early

in the morning would get along with God

and would download the day and then as

he was going throughout the day when

they ask him what is he doing he said

I'm just doing what I see my father

doing I've already seen this in the

Supernatural now I'm seeing this in the

natural I'm already seeing this here I'm

seeing this now here and you go whoa

whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa that's a

little deep I've never had that happen

well the question is do you have a

regular prayer life let's just begin

there so are you first talking to God

secondly are you talking with God

thirdly are you listening to him because

because that that's how that happens

there's a progression there's a depth in

that there there's a place in that there

you're you're you're you're being in the

way there there's levels of maturity

right Paul talks about this where where

where when we're babes in Christ we're

we're on this really not solid food but

as we grow and we mature we should not

get off the milk of the word and we

should get on to the meat of the word

because there is milk in the word and

there is meat in the word both are are

sustaining both have nutrient both are

beneficial but one is going to build a

protein level in your life that's going

to help you be able to get to where you

want to get so there's a maturation

process there's a maturity process where

are you how mature are you are you a

baby in

Christ are are are you in your

adolescence are you are you in your teen

years are you in your 20s or your 30s or

are you know where are you I mean we're

we're all growing and none of us are on

the same track and so well how do I know

well it begins with these basic

disciplines as we walk this out I'm

telling you checking these boxes going

hey man am I I spending time in prayer

we're going to talk more about some

other things in the next couple of weeks

but am I doing and then the last thing

what is prayer it's just being with God

it's literally sitting in his presence

we have a hard time with

that we have a hard time because it

doesn't require me to do anything it's

just me to be still and know that he's

God one of the great things I love about

these Revival nights and again these are

not for Outsiders so don't like bring

people in oh man like I'm just telling

you the the expectation is that you're a

Christ follower and that you're just

it's just a night of refreshing for you

really that's really what it is but the

deal is is um it's it's a moment where

you will go to you'll hear the you'll

worship you'll hear the message you'll

go to the Altar and then when you get

done praying then you just kind of find

a place to sit and just watch what God's

doing just sit in the presence okay I'm

been raising Church my whole life and

when you're in an experience like that

usually the way the holy spirit it's

like waves on an ocean it come the tide

comes in and goes out comes in comes out

but there's a moment there's a moment

Wednesday night about half everybody had

left no problem I'm not judging you you

got kids get them and every Early

Childhood person said thank you yes go

get your children right do not stay here

till 10 o'clock uh you you you've got

you've got things to do no there's no

judgment here but I'm just saying but

but there are times that that's the

luxury and you create that or or or you

you you you create that in your schedule

and then all of a sudden what happens in

those moments about halfway through we

just said hey

young

adults because in my prayer time earlier

in the week I had been wrestling with

this and and can I just tell you like

where part of my prayer time and my dvo

time was happening I had already spent

time in prayer but I'm at the I'm at the

gym I'm on the treadmill everything's

going

on right I didn't ask them to turn off

all the TVs and just play my worship

music and can y'all just stop I'm gon

have on with the Lord no they're like no

I'm just just one of the other guys just

on this and I'm on this tripment and the

Lord begins to kind just speak to my

heart because I'd already been praying

that morning about what he wanted to do

and I was like I really don't want to do

this I don't want to invite all these

young adults to my house I don't want

them in my house I don't this is not

what I want do you want 60 young adults

showing up in your living room and you

go man you must have a big house no I

got a house like yours live here in

Germantown it's a 20 25 year old house

it's nice I'm thankful for it but I got

wood floors at Creek just a house right

it's no big it's it's great for me but

like I don't want everybody coming over

right why don't we do this at the church

and I'm having this conversation and the

Lord just kind of spoke to my heart in

that time that if you'll do this here's

what I'm going to do and then that's

exactly what happened but it kind of

freaked me out just a little bit but I'm

just listening and just do because it's

just like God what do you want to do and

so then when we came in to the service

on Wednesday I was telling Tammy I don't

even know maybe it's just me maybe that

was a bad burrito I don't know if that's

a lord whatever right I'm just like you

I don't want to act like

I've grew up hearing preachers say well

and I heard God say to me

really I don't really that doesn't you

know what I'm saying like I got on the

airplane and by the time we landed in

San Antonio everybody was saved

really really like no like I just want

to watch my Netflix right I they I I

hope they have a TV on the screen and I

can watch the game when I right I got a

book to read I got work to do I I don't

want to mess with you people I don't

want to do you understand right

so anyhow so I'm just like I'm not the

most spiritual of pastors I'm sorry if

you're looking for someone who's just

like they lead everybody to G I wish I

was I just am not I'm just me hi my

name's Aon I'm just one beggar to

another begger where to find food I'm

just one hypocrite helping another

hypocrite not be so hypocritical amen

you know what I'm talking about like

that's just it so I'm just like I just

knew so I came up and so halfway through

everybody had about half the people had

left maybe there for and then I said I

just really sense that there's young

adults here you is this age to this age

and there's a desperation for God and

you want God to do something and if

that's you I want you to move from where

you are I want you to come to the front

and all of a sudden these kids just

start

coming boom boom boom boom because there

was a time where there was message there

was

altar people got what they needed from

the Lord some people had to leave half

the room had emptied and all of a sudden

God says okay this what I'm going to

do and again I at 10:00 and there were

still people

here I'm not saying that it has nothing

to do with me has nothing zero big fat

goose egg notada zilt to zero it's about

just sitting in the presence see we

always dealing with the Urgent versus

the important the Urgent versus the

important you'll always have urgent

things I gotta be here I gotta do this I

gotta do that I gotta do this I gotta do

this I'm busy I'm busy I'm busy Welcome

to the Jungle baby we're all busy what's

important like I live with the r rule

called the rule of five there are five

things every day that I do five things

and if I don't accomplish anything else

I accomplish those five things that's my

goal every day I'm not always successful

with there are five things I do every

day I don't try to do 10 Things I try to

do 15 things I don't try to and if I CH

you what those five things are they're

so simple like I try to do devotions

every day I try to read every day I try

to write every day I try to I try to

file every day which is how as far as

the library and whatever I'm doing what

I'm doing I'm I'm I got five things

every day that I I this is what I do and

and I try to work out every day because

that that that helps me so I can eat

more amen it's not anything about I I

know when I get to heaven I have a body

like Brad Pit you know what I'm talking

about like I will I'm just telling you

like hold up I'm just saying it's gonna

H but right now it's not happening right

now see the Lord's keeping humility in

my life okay I'm digressing my point is

is that's what's important so that's

what I do what's it what what are your

five things you do every

day what what's the inputs focus on the

input quit focusing on the output focus

on the input and so prayer devotion

that's where I begin my day every day

you know why I do that not because I'm

the most spiritual not because I'm a

super Dr not because Jesus rose very

early in the morning no it's because if

I don't I won't get it

done I'm just telling you if I don't do

it first it doesn't get done that's it

period that's all it is because you're

going to do in life what you want to do

I'm firmly convinced of this don't tell

me well I don't have time I was gonna

say something don't don't tell me I

don't have time

don't tell me it's you don't want to do

it it's not convenient it's not I'm just

saying you do in life what you want to

do you can have results or you can have

excuses but you cannot have both amen

all right secondly Jesus planned to pray

so prayer is Not an Accident prayer is

not some woo I feel this I need to do

this no no he planned to pray Jesus set

specific times and specific places and

specific purposes to play pray I'm going

to show you about six about a half dozen

things that he does and and I think the

verses are going to be on the screen I'm

not certain but first of all Jesus

prayed regularly and so Luke 5: 16 Jesus

often withdrew to lonely places and

prayed there it is they're all going to

be there so Luke 5:116 he often withdrew

to lonely places and prayed there was

just regular often he's there secondly

Jesus prayed alone a lot he prayed alone

we just read it Mark 135 while it was

still dark Jesus Departed and went to a

desolate place and there he prayed by

himself and every introvert said amen

and every extrovert went no okay Jesus

prayed for

others Matthew Chapter 19 Verse 13 then

Matthew 19:13

the people bought brought little

children to Jesus for him to place his

hands on them and pray for them he

prayed for other people we should pray

for other people it's healthy pray for

other other people Jesus prayed with

other people he didn't just pray by

himself he also prayed with others Luke

9: 28 and then Jesus Took Peter John and

James and they went with him up to the

mountain to pray so Jesus as he's

discipling the disciples he takes Peter

James and John and they go up to the

mountain to pray and we know God shows

up there Mount Transfiguration but but

he takes them up there he didn't just do

this

alone can I just tell you parents one of

the most powerful things is for your

kids to hear you

pray can I tell you men your kids if

you're in a Christian household they

know what mom's prayers sound like but

do they know

yours the I'm just telling you you want

to raise men of God and you want your

daughters to marry men of God pray out

loud don't delegate that to your wife be

a man and stand up and lead in your home

I've never had a woman ever say to me my

husband just prays too much it doesn't

happen

doesn't happen why because there's

something about hearing a man pray every

time my dad prays for the food food's a

big deal in our house so for the

food Lord he says this I thank you for a

strong mind and he always does this he

point I my brother and I we watching now

strong mind and uh what is it in a and a

good body right yeah a strong strong

mind and healthy body strong mind

healthy body strong every

time he's going to do this wrong and my

brother and I now going doing this to

each other why but can I just tell you

something I find myself as I get older

doing the same thing because I've

learned it because I've

listened I've

listened my dad has a brown leather

Thompson Chain

Bible

that a couple in the church who've now

gone to be with the lord gave my dad

years

ago you know I know the color my dad's

Bible is because I always saw it

out I always saw him bring it to

church this my dad's

Bible don't just do this

alone kids should hear you and sometimes

it's good when you they hear you praying

oh God stay say Stephen and start

calling out his sin that's really good

all right here we

go Jesus prayed short prayers some of

y'all are going to like this he prayed

short prayers John chapter ver 12 verse

28 father glorify your name that's it

you don't have to do all this these and

THS and Shakespearean this is not for

anybody else right good food good good

good eat back your ears and let's eat I

mean let's just like here we go let's

just a short prayer Lord thank you thank

you boom boom boom boom and he also

prayed long prayers I know I had to go

there Luke chapter 6 verse2 and one of

Luke 6 · chapter mention

those days Jesus went out to the

mountain side to pray and spent the

night praying to God

John bunan the writer and the preacher

said he who runs from God in the morning

will scarcely find him the rest of the

day prayer

routine regular regular place regular

time regular pattern if you want to

follow Jesus in the way of conversation

with him know his prayer let me

encourage you find a place that's your

place for the most part find a time that

your time for the most part and find a

pattern that's what I want to end with

Jesus modeled prayer for you and I he

modeled it he he didn't say pray this

prayer which is what we do which is

really funny to me he said pray in this

manner so look at Matthew chapter 6 if

Lord's Prayer verse

9-13 because I want to walk through this

with you and then we're going to land

the plane Matthew chapter 9 excuse me

chapter 6 6: 9-13 Matthew Chap

6:9-13 and then Jesus it says this pray

then like this it doesn't say recite

this prayer nothing wrong with that but

that's not with the intent the intent is

it to be an outline the intent is not

memorization although you should the

intent is not reciting it although

that's fine the intent is this is the

outline when they ask him when the

disciples say how do we pray he says

pray in this this manner the King James

and the new King James would say the ESV

says pray then like this Our Father in

heaven Hallowed Be Your Name verse 10

your kingdom come your will be done on

Earth as it is in heaven verse 11 give

us this day our daily bread verse 12

forgive us our debts as we have also

forgiven our debtors verse 13 and lead

us not to temptation but Deliver Us from

Evil and the King James the new King

James says for yours is the kingdom and

the power and the glory forever and ever

amen so Jesus prayer template is simply

this first of all it begins with praise

verse

9 and I'm telling you this is what I

pray every day I learned to pray this

way in high school and I don't know man

I I can't I'm graduated 1990 so ever how

many years that is that's a long time

and uh so I've been praying this for for

decades in in this manner so I began

with praise and so it's just really

simple Lord I just kind of begin the

morning morning I begin the day and I

just thank God for all the things I had

to be thankful for whatever it may be I

just I just praise him sometimes it's

just about praising him for who he is

sometimes it's praising him for what

he's done sometimes it's just praise

pring him for the blessings of my life

sometimes I prais him and thanking him

for you it's just that's it then

secondly verse 10 says then you get into

the agenda so he says your kingdom come

and your will be done on Earth as is in

heaven so God has a perfect will in

heaven let that come to Earth God has a

perfect will for your life let that be

done in your life God has a perfect plan

for your life let the plan of God be

established in your life your family so

God's given you influence God's given

you so you have stewardship over the job

that you have and the kids that you have

and the spouse that you have and the and

the family that you have and the house

that you have and whatever whatever

depreciable and appreciable assets

whatever God has given you whatever he's

entrusted you with that's yours to

Steward and ultimately you stand before

him and you give an account not just for

your life but you give an account for

what you've done with all the blessings

that he's done and all the things that

he's given you and and everything that

you have and so in that moment I just

simply go through and I pray because I I

I pray for myself God have your will and

your way in me plane goes down oxygen

masks drop who do you take care of first

you CU if you're not good no one else is

going to be good if you're passed out

you can't be helpful to anybody else if

the oxygen in the plane goes down the

the the pressure goes up and you got

then you have to do take care of you

first so you begin with you and that

sounds selfish but but it's you making

sure you're good so Lord have your will

and your way in Me God do what you want

to do let your kingdom come in me God

let your will be done in me and your

perfect plan for my life and if there

are things that I'm processing in my

life if I'm processing the career change

if I'm processing a decision I've got to

make if I'm processing a hardship if I'm

processing junk in my own life or in my

mind or what I just began to give that

to God and that's where I just pray in

my mind my body my soul my spirit every

part of me then I pray for my family so

that's my wife so I pray for Tammy I

pray for her I pray for our marriage I

pray why is that important that you pray

because it's hard to fight with someone

that you are praying

for amen I'm just telling you you if you

don't like somebody I don't care if it's

your spouse you start praying for them

God will give you a heart for them it

just it's going to happen because

because it begins to melt your heart and

not that Tammy and I have heart issues

she might not me I'm I'm pure as gold

but I'm just saying like at but I pray

and I pray God's blessing to be on her

and I pray that I would be of help to

her and that I would honor her and that

I would do then I pray for my kids and I

call their names out and I pray God's

will God whatever your will is for their

life let it be done let not any devil in

hell or anyone come in and there are

days where I've had to inter seed in on

that because the enemies come in like a

flood and God that you'd raise up a

standard against them and God that

they're yours and I remind God that I've

dedicated them to him and that they're

there and now I pray for I pray for this

beautiful granddaughter that I have who

is perfect in every single

way have y'all seen a picture of her

lately any I'm just saying like so I

just pray God just do

protect pray for my mom and my dad I

pray for my brother and his family I

pray for my in-laws and outlaws I pray

for them and that my brother-in-law and

his family I just pray God's blessing

and then I pray it's everything God's

given me stewardship over so the next

big thing in my life is you I pray for

you I pray for the board I pray for the

staff I pray for the campus pastors I

pray for the campuses I pray

specifically there are specific things

and on different days I pray different

things and I just go down everything

that God every board that I set on as I

chair Convoy of hope I pray for Hal I

pray for Keith I pray for the team I

pray for what's happening right now what

they're doing in the wildfires out west

that God would give them strength and

blessing and I pray for that I pray for

Evangel University I said on on that

board I pray for every place where God's

given me any amount of influence I pray

and I give it to him first of all it's

not mine and it reminds me of

that secondly so my life to everything

else is not but I give it to him every

day and and and then I go to provision

now God give us this day day the break

give me what I need today Lord you know

what I'm going to and I and I'll pull

out my phone and I will literally just

kind of go through my schedule and I'll

pray over appointments and I'll pray

over all so if I have lunch with you or

coffee with you or I'm in a meeting

where if I if I'm doing a I pray over

that so I just pray over that and I just

kind of give God that day because God

you know what's going to happen at 3:00

you know what's going to happen here you

know I don't know I don't know I mean a

few weeks ago I'm it's it's uh it's

December and and I'm getting ready to do

an all staff meeting and and right

before my mom says hey we your dad's

gone in for a CAT scan he had this fall

and we don't really know what's going on

the next thing I know I'm in the back of

the room and and Ryan is leading the

meeting and and my mom's text me going

they're going to airlift him to the

hospital in Little Rock I don't know any

more than that we're going

there so that meant I need to get a

flight and I'm not like you I don't have

a private jet so I fly commercial with

everybody else the greaty Hound in the

sky amen and so um so I just kind of I

so we may we just but you know what I

didn't know I was going to face that

that day I didn't know that my life was

I did I did not know that for the next

five days my entire agenda was going to

my kids I thank you for my my grandchild

Lord I I I thank you Lord for friends

friends and I thank you God for

blessings Lord I I thank you Lord for

provision in my life right now I thank

you Lord for for what you've done just

just for a moment just praise him just

thank him Lord I just give you praise

and I just thank you Lord for just good

things that you've done in my life and

for what you're doing and what you're

going to

do so then verse 10 says your kingdom

come your will be done on Earth as it is

in heaven right there just Lord have

your will and your way in my life just

start with yourself and then pray for

your then pray for everything that God's

given you leadership and influence over

so Lord right now I just pray Lord that

you would have your will in your way in

me Lord do what you want to do in me

help me to be the Christ follower I need

to be God help me to be the husband I

need to be Lord help me to be the dad

and the grandfather I need to be help me

to be the pastor I need to be help me to

be the friend that I need to be and the

brother that I need to be I just pray

have your will in your way in my life

let your kingdom come in my life God let

your will be done in my life and Lord I

pray for everything that you've given me

stewardship over for every appreciable

and unappreciable asset God that you put

a hedge of protection around my home God

around all that you've blessed me with

around my vehicles Lord around around

Lord as I've tried to honor you with

bringing of the tithe Lord and also just

having good Financial uh God for for

retirement that you would just take care

and provide for my family I just give

that to you and I trust you with that

Lord I pray for for Anna Lord I pray God

for Sean I pray God for Amilia I pray

God for Ava I pray God for their lives

you put a hedge of protection that you'd

bless them that you'd minister to them

call your children out call your grand

children I right now in prayer just I

just give them to you Lord and I just

thank you Lord I I if if you're if you

have family members parents whatever

just pray Lord I give them to you and I

just thank you for my mom and my dad and

bless them today thank you for my my for

for my in-laws Lord and I pray your

blessings be upon them be upon my

brother-in-law and his family be upon on

my brother and his family Lord I pray

for Life Church God I pray for these

people God at every single campus right

now God that you would just Lord that

you would just bless them to overflowing

I just pray Lord for the Appleton campus

and for the Brookfield campus and for

the Germantown campus Lord God I pray

God for the Milwaukee campus I pray for

our campus pastors I pray God for

everything that we're trying to do for

Life Center for all that we're doing in

the city I just pray I just give it to

you have your will and your way God at

our jobs at our places at our work Lord

verse 11 says give us this day our daily

bread father I just pray ask God to give

you what you need today Lord I just pray

today you know what I'm going to face

this afternoon you know what I've got

going on today I just pray you give me

the strength to preach your word I pray

God you would bless another service God

I pray God that you would just Lord you

would provide what I need God you would

do what I need God that you would give

me what I need give me the mindset give

me the heart God give me let me have a

right attitude and a right disposition I

pray Lord as I have lunch with my family

that you would just bless that time lord

as I nap this afternoon God you bless

that nap amen Lord I just pray that

there would be strength in my body and

strength I just pray give me what I need

today let me not worry about tomorrow

because it's not yet come God I give you

yesterday and that leads me Lord to

forgiveness Lord forgive me of all of my

sins and all my righteousness Lord I

just come before you and I just pray

cleanse me cleanse my mind cleanse my

soul cleanse my body cleanse me Lord

forgive me God for the areas where I've

come up short God forgive me for sin in

my life Lord I Repent I call Sin for

what it is and I ask you oh Father God

that you would help me Lord I pray God

you'd help me to live for you and I just

pray let there be no unforgiveness in me

Lord if I have any unforgiveness in me

Holy Spirit speak to my heart and show

me and I will make it right that's my

responsibility I just pray Lord that the

Holy Spirit comfort and convict this way

in Jesus name and in verse 13 says lead

us not to temptation but Deliver Us from

Evil so begin to pray for protection

over your life and your family I just

pray today God keep me from Temptation

and Lord when Temptation comes in Lord

deliver me I pray God deliver me from

Temptation deliver me God from the from

the temptation of the enemy deliver me

from the distractions of this world

Jesus I desire to walk and follow you

and to walk in the way and so I just

pray that in Jesus name in Jesus name

now here's what I want you to do at

every campus everywhere I just want you

everyone to stand across the room can

you just stand everybody stand again

I've taken you through a really fast

deal where we're going to end with

praise we're going to end just kind of

giving God praise and I'm just kind of

but I will literally just take that and

sometimes it's 20 minutes sometimes it's

30 minutes sometimes it's an hour and um

but just but can you imagine how you

just kind of began to walk that out

write that out do that out and you pray

in that manner and then every single day

boom boom boom but I love what the King

James says for yours the kingdom and the

power and the glory forever so what I

want to do is I just want to end us with

some praise and then at every campus the

the the worship teams are going to be

there and when I say Amen uh we're just

going to give God praise and and uh but

then they're going to lead us in one

song and then we're going to be

dismissed this is our time today so can

we just praise God and just thank him

for who he is Lord I just thank you

right now and I just end with praise

Lord I have followed the model that

you've given Jesus and I've LED your

people Lord to to do the same just one

beggar to another beggar where to find

food and so Lord I just give you praise

and I just thank you I magnify your name

and I glorify your name and I thank you

for this day that you've given me for

this is the day that you have made I

will rejoice and be exceedingly glad I

will lift up my eyes to you from which

comes my strength my help comes from you

oh Lord God you are the alpha and the

Omega the beginning and the end the

first and the last that which was and is

to come and forever more shall be you

are the king of kings and the Lord of

lords God You Are My Hope and my

salvation you are my peace today and You

Are My Hope for tomorrow and you are my

Redemption from yesterday Lord I just

thank you God that you love me and that

you care for me Lord and that you

remember my sins no more and that you

give me new life and new Strength I

thank you for the peace that I have

through the Holy Spirit I thank you Lord

for the joy that's Indescribable that I

can live in my life regardless what's

going on around me and I thank you Lord

I thank you God that I'm not alone but

that you are with me you lead me and you

guide me and you direct me and I just

give you praise in Jesus name am
