  1. amazing grace how sweet the sound that

  2. saved a wretch like me i once was lost

  3. but now I'm found was blind but now I

  4. see

  5. maybe the most famous of Christian hymns

  6. Amazing Grace was written back in 1772

  7. by English Anglican clergymen and poet

  8. John Newton who pinned these words not

  9. just because they sounded good or he

  10. thought that they would make a good song

  11. one day but out of raw personal

  12. experience most of you probably don't

  13. know John's story uh I I just found out

  14. a lot about it this this last week but

  15. John was born into a Christian household

  16. uh but when he was at a young age age

  17. seven he unexpectedly lost his Christian

  18. mother and that shook the household by

  19. age 11 John had joined his father out at

  20. sea and as you could imagine the

  21. sailor's life led to a lentious and

  22. tumultuous time in the young boy's life

  23. a few years later he would join the

  24. Royal Navy and things were going

  25. relatively well until he tried to desert

  26. from the Royal Navy and they caught him

  27. and fgged him for his disobedience and

  28. attempted

  29. desertion after leaving the service John

  30. became the captain of his own ship

  31. unfortunately it was a slave ship and he

  32. was the he he was in charge of that ship

  33. for many years and then in 1748 when

  34. John was in his mid20s a violent storm

  35. battered his vessel off of the coast of

  36. County Donnagal Ireland

  37. and it was so severe that during that

  38. time John called out to something from

  39. his childhood the God that he and his

  40. mother and his family had once known and

  41. from that moment forward God began to do

  42. a work in the life and in the heart of

  43. John Newton so much so that in 1754 he

  44. gave up the slave trade for an education

  45. in Christian theology later as a grown

  46. man he would become an abolitionist he

  47. was ordained in the church of England he

  48. became a local clergyman and began

  49. writing

  50. hymns like Amazing Grace you see John

  51. wrote from

  52. experience we just saw a a small

  53. snapshot of his life but we could see

  54. how God continued to relentlessly pursue

  55. him that over and over again God would

  56. demonstrate his love for John in his

  57. allencompassing amazing grace and now

  58. millions all over the world Christian

  59. and non-Christian alike sing this song

  60. all because one man was willing to speak

  61. about the amazing grace that he had once

  62. received thankfully John Newton didn't

  63. keep this amazing grace to himself but

  64. was willing if not eager to share about

  65. that amazing grace with

  66. others today we're continuing in our

  67. series Echoes with a sermon entitled

  68. Echoes of Grace we're going to be in

  69. Ephesians chapter 2 if you want to grab

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  70. your Bibles turn there with me your

  71. digital Bibles physical Bibles spiritual

  72. Bibles you've got it all in your heart

  73. right ephesians chapter 2 this morning

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  74. and over the next few minutes I want to

  75. share with you how the grace of God

  76. doesn't just change our lives it does it

  77. does change our lives but how God's

  78. grace then creates a ripple effect

  79. impacting those around us in profound

  80. and transformative ways

  81. in Ephesians chapter 2 after describing

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  82. the sinful state that we were in before

  83. God's intervention the Apostle Paul

  84. writes two of the greatest words in all

  85. of

  86. scripture but God did everybody say that

  87. with me this morning but God two

  88. powerful words but God being rich in

  89. mercy because of the great love with

  90. which he loved us even when we were dead

  91. in our trespasses he made us alive

  92. together with Christ it is by grace that

  93. you have been saved and raised us up

  94. with him and seated us with him in the

  95. heavenly places in Christ Jesus so that

  96. in the coming ages we might show the

  97. immeasurable riches of his grace in

  98. kindness towards us in Christ Jesus for

  99. by grace you have been saved through

  100. faith and this is not your own doing it

  101. is the gift of God not a result of works

  102. so that no one may boast for we are his

  103. workmanship created in Christ Jesus for

  104. good works which God prepared before him

  105. that we should walk in them amazing

  106. grace how sweet the sound that saves a

  107. wretch like me it's where this amazing

  108. grace begins over the next few minutes

  109. let's look at a few different facets of

  110. the amazing grace of God the first is

  111. this grace rescues us this is where we

  112. all begin grace rescues us saves us it

  113. it changes us um but you know before we

  114. get too far it might be helpful to share

  115. with you a definition of grace so that

  116. we're all on the same page together

  117. grace has commonly been defined as God's

  118. unmmerited favor towards us god's

  119. unmmerited favor towards us if mercy is

  120. God not giving us what we do deserve

  121. grace is God giving us what we don't

  122. deserve are you tracking with me grace

  123. is God giving us what we don't deserve

  124. it is a gift we don't do anything to

  125. earn it god grants us favor as a free

  126. undeserved

  127. unmmerited gift so what does grace look

  128. like i'll give you three different

  129. dimensions of God's grace the first is

  130. it looks like forgiveness forgiveness

  131. through the life death and resurrection

  132. of Jesus that should not be a surprise

  133. to anyone here particularly if you've

  134. been here any length of time or you've

  135. gone to any other Christian church

  136. hopefully this is what we're all

  137. preaching each and every weekend we're

  138. going to celebrate obviously the

  139. resurrection here in a couple weeks but

  140. we here at Life Church celebrate the

  141. resurrection every day every Sunday

  142. we're talking about the life death and

  143. resurrection of Jesus this is rescue

  144. this is salvation and please um look it

  145. it is rescue we not only commit sins you

  146. and I do okay we commit sins but we are

  147. also broken by sin we were severed by

  148. sin there was a an act we we commit sins

  149. but there is also an

  150. orientation we are sinful because of the

  151. sins of our fathers Adam and Eve because

  152. of the sins that we commit we are broken

  153. and severed our relationship with God is

  154. separated and we need one that was we

  155. needed one that was fully God and fully

  156. man to to come to this earth to live a

  157. life we couldn't live to die a death on

  158. the cross that we deserved and then to

  159. raise again victorious over death sin

  160. hell and the grave to serve as the

  161. bridge between a holy God and a sinful

  162. man that is this first dimension of

  163. grace it it is the forgiveness of sin

  164. that you and I have received the second

  165. facet of grace is acceptance so we see

  166. grace as forgiveness and we see grace as

  167. acceptance god not only forgives us by

  168. his grace but he welcomes us into

  169. relationship with him this is good news

  170. this morning are you tracking are you

  171. pay are are you following along we we

  172. have been forgiven but we have been

  173. accepted brought in as sons and

  174. daughters one of the words that

  175. scripture uses is adopted you and I have

  176. been adopted into the family of God as

  177. his children we are welcomed into his

  178. family amazing

  179. grace what is grace what does it look

  180. like forgiveness acceptance and presence

  181. it's a third dimension here presence our

  182. father is not

  183. distant god is present with each and

  184. every one of us by the presence of his

  185. holy spirit he is here residing in each

  186. and every one of us all of us have a

  187. piece of God in us god is here with us

  188. it's not some mystical right thing but

  189. like the the very presence of God is

  190. here with us there are many other facets

  191. of God's grace that we could talk about

  192. today we could talk I am amazing it's

  193. endless so we could talk about all day

  194. we could talk about the empowerment that

  195. comes with the grace of God we could

  196. talk about the freedom or the promise

  197. there's also daily graces that you and I

  198. receive right it's that open parking

  199. spot at the front of the at the front of

  200. the parking lot right right by the store

  201. i mean we receive these these normal

  202. daily graces that everyone receives as a

  203. means of drawing our attention and our

  204. hearts to God god is full of grace

  205. hopefully you were starting to get the

  206. picture this morning if love is the most

  207. defining characteristic or quality of

  208. God grace is a close

  209. second it is grace by grace that you and

  210. I have been saved so let's look back at

  211. our text verses four and five but God

  212. being rich in mercy because of the great

  213. love with which he loved us even when we

  214. were dead in our trespasses he made us

  215. alive with Christ by grace you have been

  216. saved one of the ways that we often talk

  217. about this at Life Churches by these

  218. three phrases you were but God by grace

  219. have you heard this before you were but

  220. God by grace you were one way right

  221. before God you were this way you were

  222. dead in your trespasses and sin but God

  223. showed up being rich in mercy because of

  224. his great love for us made us alive

  225. together with Christ you were but God

  226. and by grace you have been saved we see

  227. this not only in our lives but we see

  228. this all throughout scripture do you

  229. remember particularly in the New

  230. Testament that Jesus comes into contact

  231. with a woman caught in adultery caught

  232. in

  233. adultery she was caught in adultery men

  234. wanted to stone her

  235. jesus bends down kneels down begins to

  236. draw in the sand we don't know exactly

  237. what he was drawing but it was

  238. convicting enough maybe he was just

  239. allowing the silence to

  240. linger for these angry men to realize

  241. their sins their

  242. plightes so Jesus began to write in the

  243. sand and then he finally looks up at the

  244. men and said and they've dispersed he

  245. turns to the

  246. woman and she and says "Go and sin no

  247. more." She leaves a changed woman that

  248. day you were but God by grace we we see

  249. this a number of times we see Lazarus

  250. was literally dead there was nothing

  251. that Lazarus could do to save himself in

  252. fact uh I I think scripture even alludes

  253. to the fact that he stank i mean he had

  254. been dead for a couple of days now he

  255. could do nothing to save himself jesus

  256. shows up on the scene others thought he

  257. was late jesus was right on time as he

  258. always is and Jesus says "Lazarus come

  259. out." And out of the grave still in his

  260. grave clothes Lazarus raises from the

  261. dead walks out a new man you were but

  262. God by grace we see this a as we look at

  263. the thief on the cross next to Jesus as

  264. Jesus hung dying on the

  265. cross the man beside him could do

  266. nothing to save himself but recognize

  267. that Jesus was who he said that he was

  268. that Jesus was an innocent man so Jesus

  269. turned to him and say "Today you will be

  270. with me in

  271. paradise you were but God by grace."

  272. Many of you in the room can attest to

  273. that today you have that experience in

  274. your own life amen like you you know

  275. what it's like to to to have been one

  276. way and now because of God's grace you

  277. are another you were but God by grace

  278. you were one way you were dead in your

  279. trespasses and sin but God showed up on

  280. the scene and because of his amazing

  281. grace you are now living a new

  282. victorious life not that it's not a life

  283. without struggles we'll get there but

  284. that you are living a new life you are

  285. no longer what you were but you are now

  286. who God calls you to be you were but God

  287. by grace many of you can can can attest

  288. to that fact some of you in this room

  289. have not yet received that amazing grace

  290. the good news is that today that amazing

  291. grace is offered to you not from me but

  292. you can receive that God is here today

  293. to meet with you and extend his grace

  294. your direction you just have to believe

  295. and receive this morning so it starts

  296. here like a rock dropping into a still

  297. lake there is this initial disruption

  298. the grace of God rescuing us from sin

  299. and separation it plunges us under the

  300. water and when we come up everything is

  301. changed leads us to the second thing

  302. about grace grace transforms

  303. us grace transforms us

  304. have you ever have you ever met someone

  305. or watched a movie or read a book or

  306. heard a song and you were different

  307. afterwards you you think of that song

  308. that movie and you were like "That

  309. changed me i'm different because of

  310. that." That is every single one of us

  311. after encountering Jesus we were one way

  312. but we are now a different way there is

  313. a BC and an AD for every single one of

  314. us before Christ BC we were this right

  315. we were defined by our loneliness our

  316. depression our anxiety we were confused

  317. we were greedy promiscuous we were dead

  318. in our sin we were we were

  319. dead that's BC but then there's an AD

  320. after death after we died to oursel

  321. after we died to sin we are not who we

  322. were but we are who God says we are we

  323. are holy because God says we are holy we

  324. are chosen because God says we are

  325. chosen we are we are developing fruit of

  326. the spirit like love joy peace patience

  327. i know that we are all a work in

  328. progress but God is doing a work on our

  329. life and we are not who we were we are

  330. new creation scripture says we look back

  331. at Ephesians chapter 2 and verse 6 it

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  332. says God raised us up with him and

  333. seated us with him in the heavenly

  334. places in in who in Christ Jesus are you

  335. awake are you with me in who in Christ

  336. Jesus follow so that in the coming ages

  337. he might show the immeasurable riches of

  338. his grace and kindness towards us and

  339. then it says it again in Christ

  340. Jesus check this out we see two

  341. important movements here in verse six

  342. god raised us up and God seated us

  343. raised us up and seated don't let this

  344. pass you by let's look at both in turn

  345. god raised us up again Paul is sticking

  346. to this we were once dead and now we are

  347. alive analogy we were dead in our

  348. trespasses and sins but Jesus rose from

  349. the dead jesus stepped out of the grave

  350. and so you too get to raise up from the

  351. dead and you get to step into a new life

  352. you are given a new life and a new

  353. identity but not only that we are raised

  354. up but we were also seated we are seated

  355. with him and this is

  356. crazy do you remember according to

  357. Hebrews chapter 10 I believe it is where

    Hebrews 10 chapter mention

  358. Jesus is seated right now do you

  359. remember in heaven at the right hand of

  360. the father

  361. that means that you right now not then

  362. and there but right here and now have

  363. been if you are a believer if you have

  364. received the grace of God that you too

  365. are seated at the right hand of the

  366. father follow me i know it might not

  367. feel like it we are dual citizens so we

  368. are here on earth and sometimes that

  369. sucks right i mean I'm Can I just I I'll

  370. probably get in trouble for that i'm

  371. like it's bad right sometimes right our

  372. our family is not always what we hoped

  373. or wanted it to be our job is not always

  374. what we hoped and wanted it to be

  375. sometimes we are sick in our body and

  376. it's not great like sometimes it's a day

  377. sometimes it's a week sometimes it's a

  378. season for some of you there's been a

  379. struggle or a battle for years

  380. now and so sometimes on this earth it

  381. feels really really bad

  382. but you as a Christian are seated in

  383. heavenly places at the right hand of the

  384. father and so God's people even here and

  385. now share with Jesus a measure of his

  386. authority we are not just given a new

  387. life and identity because we are raised

  388. up but we are seated with him we're

  389. given a new purpose and a new authority

  390. like a caterpillar becoming a butterfly

  391. god's grace doesn't just improve us it

  392. completely transforms us we were one way

  393. but we are now another if anyone is in

  394. Christ he is a new creation the old has

  395. passed away the new has come we are new

  396. creations i mean and remember where Paul

  397. wrote this

  398. from where he wrote the majority of his

  399. letters from paul's in prison as he's

  400. writing that he is seated that we are

  401. seated with Christ with Christ in

  402. heaven maybe your life is the same right

  403. now in a similar way you are in prison

  404. in your life you are a product of broken

  405. dreams you are sick you are dealing with

  406. uh just a struggle right now that you

  407. can't seem to overcome you are like Paul

  408. in prison

  409. that might be where you are physically

  410. but it's certainly not who you

  411. are it's not who God says that you are

  412. because of the life death and

  413. resurrection of Jesus you are in Christ

  414. you are seated in heavenly places you

  415. have a dual citizenship you live here

  416. but you are really there and that

  417. changes everything

  418. are you starting to understand why John

  419. Newton would write words like amazing

  420. grace how sweet this sounds grace

  421. rescues us grace transforms us thirdly

  422. grace works through us it's a third

  423. thing grace works through us like the

  424. rock dropped into a still lake when it

  425. when it emerges there are ripples that

  426. are formed that begins to move out from

  427. the initial disruption small waves begin

  428. to move out from the source as energy is

  429. transferred from the rock's

  430. impact we look back at our text in verse

  431. eight for by grace you have been saved

  432. through faith and this is not your own

  433. doing it is the gift of God not a result

  434. of works so that no one may

  435. boast many Christians over the years

  436. have debated this relationship between

  437. faith and works

  438. paul makes it pretty clear at least

  439. right here that we are not saved by good

  440. works but we are saved in part to do

  441. good works we are saved by faith to do

  442. good works st augustine a fifth century

  443. theologian and philosopher said it this

  444. way "Grace is given not because we have

  445. done good works but in order that we may

  446. be able to do them." One commentator of

  447. Ephesians actually said that here in

  448. these verses grace might be understood

  449. as

  450. power it is undeserved favor but it is

  451. also this transformative power that

  452. moves us and moves through us to impact

  453. the world around

  454. us all right all of this so far has been

  455. good and cheery christians let me talk

  456. to you for just a moment because I am

  457. thrilled that you have been saved by

  458. grace that's good thank God praise God

  459. but have you unknowingly been hoarding

  460. that grace for

  461. yourself like a dragon it's gold have

  462. you received grace only to withhold

  463. grace for others

  464. are you all about receiving the grace

  465. that God has to give you because of your

  466. sins and because of your

  467. sin but not extending that to your

  468. children to your spouse to your friends

  469. to your

  470. enemies salvation comes freely but there

  471. are expectations that come with that

  472. title i mean right like when you let's

  473. just make it natural when you are

  474. entered into a family a natural family

  475. that's free you didn't make that

  476. decision that was that was a free gift

  477. for you or or adoption even it was you

  478. were brought in grafted into the family

  479. a free gift on your part but then there

  480. are some expectations right you can't

  481. just burn down the house can't just take

  482. out the car whenever you want to there

  483. are some expectations and there are with

  484. with with Christianity as well as we

  485. come into the family we are expected to

  486. to to be a certain way to do certain

  487. things to evolve to to evolve to trans

  488. to to move in the right direction we are

  489. moving in the direction of Christ i mean

  490. we can just look at Jesus's teachings in

  491. the gospels right those that are

  492. forgiven are expected to forgive it's

  493. just as simple as that the disciples

  494. were even like how many times do we just

  495. have to do it seven times jesus is like

  496. 70 times over and over again you have

  497. you've been forgiven much so you too

  498. must forgive much jesus doesn't stop

  499. there jesus talks about that um when you

  500. are saved you don't just love your

  501. neighbor what do you do you love your

  502. enemy self-sacrificial enemy love is the

  503. kind of love that Jesus

  504. teaches you give to the poor you welcome

  505. the outsider the stranger

  506. the foreigner you bring them in you look

  507. around for the least of these those are

  508. the people you

  509. serve so I've got a question for you is

  510. the grace of God staying with you or is

  511. it working through you so my question is

  512. is the grace of God staying with you or

  513. is it working through you and this

  514. directly connects us to the final

  515. dimension of grace that Paul addresses

  516. here in Ephesians chapter 2 and it's

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  517. this number four grace sends us grace

  518. works through us but also grace sends us

  519. into the world around us eventually the

  520. ripples create more ripples and more

  521. ripples spreading out and away from the

  522. point of

  523. impact ephesians 2:10 it's the final

    Ephesians 2:10

  524. verse that we've been looking at today

  525. for we are his

  526. workmanship created in Christ Jesus for

  527. good works which God prepared beforehand

  528. that we should walk in them other

  529. translations for workmanship use God's

  530. handiwork that's the NIV God's

  531. masterpiece another translation says

  532. that we are a work of art

  533. you who have received God's saving

  534. transformative grace are now his

  535. masterpiece you are his poem you are his

  536. sculpture his movie his garden his song

  537. you are his masterpiece both for his

  538. glory and for the world around you to

  539. take

  540. notice follow the

  541. analogy masterpiece you are his

  542. masterpiece so you are his garden

  543. gardens are captivating right good ones

  544. they even get little signs right uh

  545. annually or monthly right this is the

  546. garden that everybody should look at

  547. this is the house that uh goes above and

  548. beyond gardens are worth looking at but

  549. it is the gardener that gets the credit

  550. for the garden the beautiful garden

  551. didn't do that on its own that was a

  552. gardener someone that intentionally came

  553. in and designed it in that way

  554. and what good is a secret garden if no

  555. one sees it what good is exquisite

  556. topiary if it's

  557. hidden a masterpiece is put on display

  558. for all to see for all to marvel at not

  559. that the marveling would culminate with

  560. the garden itself but that it would

  561. ascend to the garden's creator

  562. you weren't saved for good works you

  563. weren't saved by good works remember

  564. grace is a gift you receive it but Paul

  565. says you were created for good works to

  566. be on display for others to see that we

  567. should he says here walk in

  568. them how are you walking

  569. today how are you displaying are you and

  570. then how are you displaying the grace

  571. that you have so freely received that

  572. has transformed you so drastically and

  573. dramatically how are you demonstrating

  574. and displaying the grace of God to the

  575. world around you they're looking let me

  576. just say this they're looking and you

  577. are

  578. displaying are you being intentional

  579. about it

  580. are you displaying more your

  581. humanity rather than God's divinity

  582. working through

  583. you the world is

  584. watching paul calls us to

  585. walk in a manner that is worthy walking

  586. is all about life it's right it's how we

  587. live it's how we function how we

  588. behave this is not the only time Paul

  589. talks about walking all throughout

  590. Ephesians he talks about walking let me

  591. just share a few of those verses with

  592. you in chapter 2 verses 1 and 2 he says

  593. that you were dead in your trespasses

  594. and sins in which you once walked

  595. chapter 4:1 I therefore a prisoner of

  596. the Lord urge you to walk in a manner

  597. worthy of the calling verse 17 of

  598. chapter 4 now this I say and testify in

  599. the Lord that you must no longer walk as

  600. the Gentiles do chapter 5:2 walk in love

  601. as Christ loved us and gave himself up

  602. for us verse 8 at one time you were in

  603. darkness but now you are the light in

  604. the Lord walk as children of the light

  605. in chapter 5:1 15 look carefully then

  606. how you walk not as unwise but as wise

  607. the saving grace of God comes with an

  608. expectation god rescues us from one way

  609. of walking so that we would walk in an

  610. entirely new way and as you walk others

  611. will take notice so what does our walk

  612. look like it's not going to be a

  613. surprise to you we look to

  614. Jesus for our walking instructions

  615. and so we look and see that Jesus was

  616. loving colossians 3:14 calls us to walk

    Colossians 3:14

  617. in a way of love we see that he was

  618. forgiving colossians

    Colossians 3:13

  619. 3:13 demonstrates that we see in

  620. Colossians 3:12 that we are to be

    Colossians 3:12

  621. compassionate humble in Philippians 2:3

    Philippians 2:3

  622. generous 2 Corinthians 9:7 that we are

    2 Corinthians 9:7

  623. to be on mission according to Matthew

    Matthew 28 chapter mention

  624. chapter 28

  625. these qualities and characteristics are

  626. not just good they are godly because

  627. they are the very characteristics and

  628. qualities

  629. Jesus that's what it means to be an echo

  630. or a reflection or to image well the one

  631. who saved

  632. us we are to look at Jesus not only as

  633. the author and finisher of our faith but

  634. he is working on us right now we are

  635. walking in ways that are

  636. reflections of how he lived and how he

  637. loves and how he

  638. serves and how he's

  639. humble and how he seeks out those that

  640. are injured or worthless in society's

  641. eyes how he loves forgives how he's

  642. compassionate

  643. we are all these things and more not

  644. just because they're good qualities to

  645. be in a person but because these are the

  646. qualities and characteristics that Jesus

  647. demonstrated while on earth and still

  648. demonstrates today and as we live as

  649. echoes of his grace the world around us

  650. will take

  651. notice our ceaseless and abounding love

  652. will catch their

  653. attention

  654. our peace in the midst of the storm will

  655. be a

  656. shelter our hope which might

  657. seem naive to the world around us at

  658. first will shine all the more brightly

  659. when all else comes crumbling

  660. down does it make sense now

  661. do the words of John Newton's hymn now

  662. ring all the more true to your

  663. soul amazing

  664. grace how sweet the sound you know what

  665. let would you just in this moment would

  666. you bow your heads and just close your

  667. eyes i do want to pray over you but

  668. before I

  669. pray could I just read each verse from

  670. John Newton's

  671. song these powerful words but I just

  672. want you to listen to these words

  673. written so many years ago and sung by

  674. millions of our brothers and sisters

  675. across the

  676. globe i want you to hear these words in

  677. a fresh way this

  678. morning as you realize the amazing grace

  679. that God has extended your

  680. direction amazing

  681. grace how sweet the sound

  682. saved a wretch like

  683. me i once was lost but now I'm found was

  684. blind but now I

  685. see it was grace that taught my heart to

  686. fear and grace my fears

  687. relieved how precious did that grace

  688. appear the hour I first

  689. believed the Lord hath promised good to

  690. me his word my hope

  691. secures he will my shield and portion be

  692. as long as life

  693. endures when we've been there 10,000

  694. years bright shining as the

  695. sun we've no less days to sing God's

  696. praise than when we first begun

  697. so God we thank you for your

  698. grace it rescues

  699. us transforms us it changes us it moves

  700. in us and through us to impact the world

  701. around

  702. us your grace your supply is endless and

  703. so we receive it

  704. today we receive it every day for those

  705. that do not know you in this room in

  706. this moment may they receive your saving

  707. rescuing

  708. grace for all of us would you remind us

  709. of your grace that it is not a thing of

  710. the past but it is a thing of the

  711. present and the future you are moving in

  712. our life by your grace even here and

  713. now may you revive us may we live this

  714. new life we were once dead but God rich

  715. in his

  716. mercy in his

  717. grace now extends that to us may we also

  718. extend that to others in Jesus name we

  719. pray amen
