  49. more plugged in here at Real Life Church, if you can text RL

  50. new. Thousand know what that's going

  51. to do, it's going to pull up our digital communication card, just

  52. a few short questions asking for some pretty basic information

  53. that we will use to help follow up with you this week.

  54. You can get there the same way by scanning the QR code on the

  55. seat back in front of you. And then I'll pull up that exact

  56. same link if you are joining us in person.

  57. Today, I invite you immediately after the Gathering to join us

  58. at our new here Booth where we do have a small gift for you.

  59. Just for making today, your home for your church home.

  60. So thank you for that. It's tell you a little bit more

  61. about Real Life Church who we are.

  62. We are at church on Mission and you know, EC walk in here you

  63. probably overwhelmed by all the lights, all the pipe and drape

  64. everything that we do to make this.

  65. You know, this is our church every single week.

  66. And why do we do it? You know, why are we here?

  67. Why do we exist? Is because of this Mission, this

  68. mission right here behind me to see people far from God discover

  69. their real life and purpose in. Jesus and guys have you been

  70. enjoying this breakout Series? So far to start off the year?

  71. If you're like me, you come in every Sunday morning, you ready

  72. fired up? And then the Wii comes and you

  73. kind of maybe forget what those resolutions are what you're

  74. trying to accomplish. And so let's be reminded today

  75. that this is a, not an easy thing to do.

  76. But if we continue to make those small changes in our lives, we

  77. will see our breakout, you really come to fruition.

  78. So, let's get over Pastor Sean, as we go into the word today.

  79. Come on. How you guys doing?

  80. Get a few Chiefs fans in the house.

  81. I see. Oh yeah, we'll see, no Donuts

  82. this year. It's all you have to say if your

  83. last year that stung. So anyway, man, are you guys

  84. feeling spirit guide your life this year so far?

  85. You feeling that the hand of God, just moving you a little

  86. bit. Maybe this Series has been just

  87. kind of wake-up call really, for me personally.

  88. And for all of us is diving into what it is to follow.

  89. God, a different level. And if you've been with us for a

  90. little bit of time or be a new day, I mean, kind of lead you

  91. through been and it Started out really talk about ignition known

  92. your personal, call read Vigor and reigniting.

  93. The things of God in your life and talk about Paul and how

  94. God's hand was on him and he followed God's call to Gentiles

  95. and literally went before Kings and preached, the gospel, if you

  96. remember the story, we're back to David and Goliath.

  97. And how one man stepped on the battlefield and everything

  98. changed. Amen.

  99. And last week, man, going through, Daniel in the Lion's

  100. Den. Now one man marked by prayer and

  101. when a nation is against him, praise to God.

  102. And not only leads a nation and out of captivity.

  103. But the glory of God goes around the world.

  104. Amen. And so today, we've just woven

  105. through really kind of what it takes to take off and take

  106. flight and to be fueled in the air through prayer.

  107. And I want to talk about today, something very specific.

  108. Something I think that just where we're at in this series

  109. ruled the boldness to go to somewhere that's Uncharted to

  110. break the limits of your circumstance and really today as

  111. Christians to break the limits of our current faith.

  112. And so they were going to talk about is to be Uncharted.

  113. You think about people, we offer are limited by voice.

  114. It's in our life, we've talked about that but also limited by

  115. your own failures and learned by our circumstances around us.

  116. And so I want to encourage you really the list of people that

  117. you're going to recognize that we're limited by circumstances,

  118. by their own failure by those around them and broke through

  119. the limits. And so, there's a few people,

  120. you might recognize the first is, this is Beethoven, he was

  121. told by his music teacher, that's composer.

  122. He had no hope for that person was wrong.

  123. Right thing about Thomas Edison, his high school teacher told me

  124. that he was so stupid. The quote, he could not learn

  125. anything. And they think about him after

  126. it really 10,000 times of trying.

  127. He perfected the incandescent light bulb.

  128. Hallelujah, amen. Praise God, you know, changed

  129. our lives right now, fact. I think about him.

  130. It's like maybe just too stupid to quit on his dream.

  131. He's just too stupid to keep going after it.

  132. Not to be defeated by somebody else's voice in his life.

  133. You think about Walt Disney, Kansas City?

  134. Come on somebody. I know what editor said this to

  135. him of a newspaper, but he told Walt Disney had quote.

  136. No good ideas, dude. I know about you, but But

  137. there's probably none greater, they had ideas and creation than

  138. Walt Disney himself. You think about this Apollo

  139. missions that went to the moon, the chief engineer for the

  140. politicians was Warner Von Braun.

  141. And he had failed, ninth grade algebra believe that he's

  142. probably bored. Come on somebody, right?

  143. But he could have been defeated. He could have given up.

  144. He could have been labeled a failure, but instead he got back

  145. up and kept pursuing, I learn this is pretty unique to Abraham

  146. Lincoln. He lost 18 elections on his

  147. journey become president. Now credible.

  148. I mean, I don't know about you but I wouldn't go. 18 times.

  149. Come on right but just to get up and go and just had a passion

  150. and a drive. Drove him through all of these

  151. failures. There's a little-known guy.

  152. You might know them if you're into science and all but name's

  153. Louise pasture and he's a French scientist.

  154. He came with the pasteurization process is a famous for the

  155. father of microbiology and he was told by his chemistry

  156. teacher in college that he was mediocre at best at chemistry.

  157. I'm you think about these people and all the voices that could

  158. have just gotten off track or maybe their own failure?

  159. Or their own circumstance, but I don't know about you and what

  160. your experience is, but by love the incandescent light bulb.

  161. Come on somebody, I mean the Fifth Symphony.

  162. Come on! Some it dumb dumb dumb dumb that

  163. song probably came from when he got that bad news.

  164. They can't do anything. He's got motivated to write that

  165. song at that moment. Right?

  166. You know I'm saying just like that downtown to.

  167. Thank you. Goodbye.

  168. I mean just amazing, right? You think about the light bulb?

  169. I know, you know this but Thomas Edison has became the founder

  170. and CEO of what you currently know as General Electric.

  171. Thank God for GE that we Really have the wherewithal and the

  172. median to live in this generation.

  173. And how do we have? I love most Disney movies.

  174. They've gotten kind of strange literally lately.

  175. You haven't seen it? That's okay.

  176. I know my kids they love spending five thousand dollars

  177. or their parents money to go to Disneyland and Disney World.

  178. Come on, somebody all the children said, amen.

  179. Praise God, you know, right? I love space exploration.

  180. I love watching people and just take Innovation and go into new

  181. boundaries and do limits and to push beyond the status quo and

  182. to see what has been accomplished his face.

  183. It's absolutely amazing. I'm about you had less

  184. pasteurize milk. Come on somebody.

  185. Hashtag Chateau. Come on.

  186. Where's my Chateau people? That's good.

  187. Just dying. That's great.

  188. Yep. It e granola woman over there.

  189. It's great you drive up and is like what's that bot?

  190. Au. Chateau people don't judge me.

  191. Come on somebody right. Drop a diesel but we have

  192. Chateau, it's great but I will tell you this year is your

  193. breakout year, but we got to move beyond the limits for God.

  194. Amen. We gotta move into Uncharted

  195. Territory. I mean, we're not going to play

  196. it safe as Christians, you never change the role by playing it

  197. safe. Like we got to go to places that

  198. God is calling us to go. We gotta move when other people

  199. say. It's not possible when it's even

  200. beyond your own faith. You've got to take another step

  201. of Faith. Amen.

  202. When they say the fruit is out on the limb, you've got to go

  203. where God is calling you to go. Do you think the god of the

  204. universe created, you sent Jesus to be crucified on the cross and

  205. saved you in Porter's, Holy Spirit into, you generously to

  206. play it safe. Do you think he wants to be

  207. limited by other people's realities?

  208. Do you think he wants you to stay comfortable or to move into

  209. the places that he has for you? Here's what I know, one day.

  210. Your legacy will built on the faith and the boundaries that

  211. you went into the one day. People are going to thank God

  212. for you. If you take the space of God's

  213. called you to take, if you take the ground that God's called you

  214. to take, you think about your life.

  215. I'm sure you're thankful for the people that went before you that

  216. had enough Faith to tell you about Jesus, amen.

  217. Cuz I'm sure it was awkward, right?

  218. It was weird how it went down the friends.

  219. Divide, your, maybe, your parents are or whatever.

  220. Right? I think about my story and just

  221. from a personal level thankful for those in my life, the

  222. honored God by taking off work on Sunday to show up and teach a

  223. nobody about somebody, come on about Jesus and they cared for

  224. me and love me to Jesus. And that was a talk about a

  225. youth group leader that has a full-time job somewhere else.

  226. Working at his tail off in the business world, but take Take

  227. time off to pour into somebody like me.

  228. Now, there's nothing sexy about serving in youth group.

  229. Come on somebody. Yeah, I know you got some here,

  230. right? And what do you tell your

  231. friends on Sunday night, right? Hey, you wanna hang out?

  232. I know, man. I'm like, got this, I'm going

  233. this youth group. And I'm like, pulling his kids

  234. for Jesus like, okay, you know, whatever man, right.

  235. I mean, it's just weird, right? But the reality is, for those

  236. people. Pour your life into the forever

  237. change for the kingdom of God, Amen.

  238. It is going beyond the boundary. It's abnormal for people to take

  239. time out of their life. Give it to God, it is very

  240. abnormal but I believe people can thank God for their fourth

  241. grade. When you a call Sunday school,

  242. teacher or real-life kid leader that when they look back and say

  243. thank you Miss Christy. Thank you for those people who

  244. served for point in my life because wasn't for you I

  245. wouldn't be here today. There's so many you that have

  246. those stories, right? I mean people can thank God for

  247. the Hope Center. They got counseling and that

  248. freedom and they met adults that love God and love them and

  249. they're forever changed as teenagers because your youth

  250. groups going to meet there. Amen.

  251. This was called by faith, not by sight.

  252. It makes no sense on a fan. Shal spreadsheet.

  253. There's a lot of better things to do.

  254. They're all too busy to do things, but the reality is, God

  255. is calling us to live by faith and what we can't see in him.

  256. So, I wonder how Mr day would leave here.

  257. And say, you know, I'll be bold, I'm a breakthrough year, I'm

  258. going to do things that go against the grain.

  259. I'm gonna move into uncharted waters.

  260. I'm going to step out in faith. That makes no sense that people

  261. around me, even my family and my enemies.

  262. It makes no sense. I'm going to follow God.

  263. Where is called me on, least willing today to say yes to

  264. Jesus at every single level. No longer limited by what they

  265. think of me or what if I mess up.

  266. So, what if you mess up? Come on somebody.

  267. You learn from your failure. A man, I don't know what to say.

  268. You hear all the time, don't say well, you will learn what to

  269. say, right? You'll bar phone.

  270. Jesus out a little bit and then you get better right on too

  271. busy. It's like, do you got different

  272. values? You're not too busy to leave the

  273. cause of Christ. I've never done that before.

  274. No. No, you're going to learn some

  275. new ways to do it. Amen.

  276. We're gonna try some new things this year.

  277. Well, maybe when the kids leave home?

  278. No, no, they need it now a couple days ago.

  279. My daughter. She's four years old and she

  280. wanted to see mommy's wedding dress because they pulled the

  281. box out because we've warned that so many times, right?

  282. Essence that they end up. So they pulled the box out and

  283. go get some pictures and so Diane gets to the wedding book

  284. and, you know, dust that thing off, right?

  285. And so, flip through the pictures and you're seeing all

  286. these memories in a room and listening and just sharing

  287. stories and all this and no. And I just be real honest with

  288. you. We aren't getting any younger.

  289. Come on, somebody. Have you gone back to your

  290. wedding pictures recently now, Diane she's exception.

  291. Also about it right but we're not getting any younger I'm like

  292. wow. Okay and we got to move in a

  293. direction. We have lived by faith.

  294. You know, it's been 15 years since that day and a lots

  295. changed, you know? I don't know you skipped like

  296. pant sizes and those years, you know I'm saying, like just I'll

  297. know you go from like, 32 up. It's just, there's not even

  298. whatever, right? Just what happens, we're not

  299. getting younger, but the reality is this, and I truly believe

  300. this, that so many of us are limited by fear or limb by

  301. circumstance or limited by our very faith that we almost Can

  302. limit the work of God and the kingdom of God into extinction

  303. by delaying and deferring, the mission that God has for us.

  304. You think about it. If it's not us then who who who

  305. will carry the mantle of the cause of Christ forward in our

  306. generation. So I'm going to damn is zoom in

  307. and it's give you awesome because we resume in the Hall of

  308. Fame of Faith, Hebrews 11, if you're not familiar going to get

  309. familiar. I mean this, this is just as

  310. like the the Medal of Honor First, you know, the Purple

  311. Heart. This is it like this is like the

  312. men and women that led the way of ancient times with faith.

  313. And so I'll do a day, is this invite you guys to invite God to

  314. speaking to you today. So you guys can put your hands

  315. out be doing this through the series just to get in the

  316. presence of God knows going to pray over you and to invite God

  317. to speak into your life. Father, we come before you and I

  318. pray you speak a word in to us today.

  319. God, that we live by bold faith. God, if you replace fear in our

  320. hearts your place the temporary, the sir From Stan's the voices,

  321. with the Eternal, with the Unseen.

  322. And today we live by faith. Not by sight.

  323. Not by fear, not by worry, not by yield now my own

  324. righteousness. God, but we just step-by-step

  325. follow you. So you got speak to us.

  326. God, you're surfing is here. So speak got here.

  327. My send me got wherever you call me to go.

  328. I'm willing to go and I pray this in Jesus name and the

  329. church said, amen. And so, we're going to dive in

  330. the Hall of Fame of faith and really there's so many Lessons

  331. of faith in here. I mean obviously we're not going

  332. to be able to go deep dive on all these but I encourage you,

  333. if you're looking for a word that's going to speak to your

  334. heart man get into Hebrews. 11 will jump in and verse 1 says

  335. this. Now, Faith is the confidence of

  336. the word confidence is simply trust in what we hope for and

  337. Assurance, this insurance is a positive belief, it's an

  338. affirmation vote and all the things of God.

  339. And so now Faith is confidence will hope for and Assurance

  340. about, we have not seen, this is what the Ancients to talk.

  341. About the Ancients of Faith were commended for this is what these

  342. ancients were praised for. When you got done, the end of

  343. the race when you're going through the Gates of Heaven is

  344. like, man, this is it. You're a big Faith.

  345. This is why they were plotted this.

  346. Why they're saluted? This is why they got the Medal

  347. of Honor. This was it.

  348. They live by faith and so they were going to see the story of

  349. all these ancients woven together and rule the gold day

  350. is not to get Faith into your head.

  351. The goal today is get Faith. Great faith.

  352. Mountain-moving faith into our hearts, amen.

  353. There's a lot of many There's not a lot of people have great

  354. faith and so you can see over this chapter is going to be 23

  355. times and it's more but just the phrase by Faith by Faith, by

  356. faith. This person that person, this

  357. person that person there's more stories of faith and the 23, but

  358. says this in verse 3, it says by faith, we understand that the

  359. Universe was formed at what helped me out at I God's

  360. commands by faith, we believe we didn't come out of some some

  361. premortal sludge that it wasn't an accident or just happened

  362. chance or some evolutionary moment of time.

  363. But by faith we believe that God commanded he spoke the universe

  364. into existence. Now by happened chance and so

  365. that what was seen was not made out of what is visible.

  366. I love this, when God decided to create the universe to create

  367. the cosmos when God decided to create everything we know and

  368. see and look at he simply Lee spoke it into existence.

  369. A men, who knows when God speaks Everything Changes, like I don't

  370. limit the voice of God to you. I mean if God says left, it just

  371. turns left, he says, stars are stars his light.

  372. He says see he says, oh she says land, boom.

  373. It is something very specific for us though.

  374. He formed us out dirt and intimate, formed us, and gave us

  375. a living soul. And that's why we're the only

  376. thing create an image of God and we know God, there's a

  377. god-shaped hole in each of Our Lives.

  378. The only God can fill separates us from all rest of creation.

  379. Verse 4 says this by faith Abel brought got a better offer than

  380. Cain did by faith. He was commended, he was

  381. applauded as a righteous when God spoke well of his offering

  382. maybe even a real story of Cain and Abel is the second

  383. generation of humanity and enables bringing a better

  384. offering to God than Cain is able to his first Roots.

  385. Remember that he took his the first of the flocks to give the

  386. very best to God and Kane. He decided to give God his

  387. leftovers, but Abel was being commended and came became very

  388. jealous. Ellis and says this, and by

  389. faith Abel still speaks even though he's dead, this is an

  390. amazing verse because you read this.

  391. Like what in the world is this? Talk about that able still

  392. speaking today to happened. That story is King got jealousy,

  393. met a ball on the field and he killed, he took Abel out and he

  394. killed him and his blood was shed in Outfield.

  395. And it says this in Genesis 4:10, it says the Lord said to

    Genesis 4:10

  396. Cain, what have you done? Listen, your brother's blood

  397. cries out to me from the ground. Now, I love this verse because

  398. what's happened is that even though able is dead, which by

  399. the way, he's the first martyr for God.

  400. Amen is very interesting to think about, but it was the

  401. second generation that the first martyr, because Abel's, living

  402. by faith and was killed for his faith because he pleased God.

  403. And so, his blood is crying out. It's crying out for against

  404. Justice against sin and God of all God hears, the voice of

  405. Abel's blood is crying out. Even speaking till today.

  406. Now, what's amazing about this is even if you die for your

  407. faith. I know we're going heavy, right?

  408. But if you had died for your faith, that got that the world

  409. may Kill the Messenger, but the message lives on, Amen.

  410. There's a reason they call it the voice of the martyrs because

  411. the blood still speaks Justice. And I think about the second

  412. generation is still crying out to God for justice against sin,

  413. and, and there's a great parallel.

  414. We're not gonna be able to get into it today, but God, but

  415. Jesus blood speaks a better word v, read Hebrews, 13.

  416. You're going to enjoy that. And we may get to that in our

  417. It's the series right Easter, but it's amazing to see how

  418. faith of able led to his voice. Still speaking long, past his

  419. life and the Legacy, we leave is really built on the foundation

  420. of faith that we live in every single day.

  421. We make that choice. Hebrews 11:5 says, this by

    Hebrews 11:5

  422. faith, Enoch was taken from this life.

  423. So he did not experience death, he could not be found.

  424. I love that. This is the way to go right here

  425. because God had taken him away. Now, I know if you're familiar

  426. with this story, there's two different times in the Bible,

  427. where somebody doesn't die, there's taken straight to

  428. heaven. And so Enoch is says in these

  429. translated to heaven, and he's just gone, and he's just

  430. amazing. And I know, you know, Elijah

  431. story, right? Like that Chariot of fire like

  432. rides up. That's the way to exit.

  433. Amen. That's the way to go, just skip

  434. the whole process, get the view, the world been cruising out to

  435. Heaven. I mean, this is it.

  436. So Enoch, he looks so much like heaven that he wasn't worthy to

  437. live on earth anymore. That's what it means to live by

  438. faith. Amen.

  439. I'm yes, sir. Much of God in you.

  440. That guy was like, it's time to come home now.

  441. I think that should be, we should be the generation of the

  442. Chariot of fire. Amen.

  443. We should be the generation that God says, send down some

  444. chariots for those boys, because they've been living by faith so

  445. much. Let's go and take him up to

  446. heaven because we're Earth is even worthy of them.

  447. Get ahead of myself. But man, I really am.

  448. But I'm telling you living by faith.

  449. And then there he says this for he was taken, he was commended

  450. his applauded. You saluted as one who pleased

  451. God made the greatest honor, we get to have.

  452. In this life is to please God. Amen.

  453. Not to police people. People always gonna be able to

  454. share with you if they're not upset with you.

  455. Then you part of the problem. Come on somebody.

  456. It's true. You're pushing uphill.

  457. You live in a fallen culture, you live under a Fallen Kingdom

  458. but we serve the king. And so we move forward in a

  459. direction. God is calling us to go.

  460. He was letting 6 and this is the first you got to put in your

  461. heart. This is really the disgrace of

  462. scripture. The faith it says without faith,

  463. it is what it is. It's impossible to please God,

  464. what that's saying is no matter what you do, no matter what you

  465. accumulate and my what you buy, then what you give the church,

  466. how much you read the Bible? Now about you, you pray or how

  467. much you come or whatever you do in life is all secondary.

  468. Could never please God compared to your faith.

  469. And so they good question is, where is your faith?

  470. That adds, how much is God, pleased by your faith, says

  471. this, because anyone who comes to him, must believe that he

  472. exists and that he rewards those who Earnestly seek him.

  473. I think my earnestly seek Him, man.

  474. That's like intense conviction. It's like when you open the

  475. Bible and start reading it and you're like, this is so true.

  476. Come on, speak to me. God, yes, that's good.

  477. I'm gonna follow that and it doesn't just transform your

  478. mind. It transforms your life, it

  479. transforms your heart because you are trusting Jesus, because

  480. he is faithful. Amen.

  481. And so those who come by faith, please God.

  482. And so you may be wondering like, man, why don't I get off

  483. the ground? It may be because you've been

  484. doing it your own power and your own strength.

  485. And your own will but you need to live in the faith of God.

  486. I'll say this, there's a huge difference between faith and

  487. belief. You think about a smoker right?

  488. Habitual smoker? We all know we all know, we've

  489. been told a million times. It's on the box.

  490. I mean these are ads campaigns against this right, the whole

  491. world used to smoke. You watch old Disney, movies,

  492. everybody smoking? Pinocchio, come on somebody,

  493. right? I mean, just what I once

  494. ashtrays and the planes, you know, I mean, just like all the

  495. things, right? But the whole world knows, you

  496. know, it's unhealthy to smoke, it can cause death we.

  497. Know that people believe that their stand that, but most

  498. people continue in that habit. If there'd been that habit,

  499. right? Like, they know better, you have

  500. family members of people, maybe it's yourself.

  501. Like, I've been trying to quit like, you know it but the faith

  502. is the action part of it, right? I mean, think about the demons,

  503. they believe. I mean, they tremble, they

  504. understand I'm the I'm wrong, but they don't have any faith.

  505. They'll follow God, they didn't change their allegiance, it

  506. didn't move them to other side of the equation.

  507. And so belief and Faith are A little different like you can

  508. believe something, but do you have the faith?

  509. Did you have a bead Ian's? Are you willing to put your

  510. money where your mouth is? Come on somebody.

  511. You want to walk the walk, not just say the talk, right?

  512. And so you want to please God below.

  513. If you limit, you gotta live by faith, you get a journalist

  514. earnestly seek God. That means when you read the

  515. word of God, like, dude, this is so true.

  516. It doesn't matter. Whatever else is thinking, this

  517. is the way God has called me to go.

  518. It means that we are so passionate about God because the

  519. spirit God your life and say, hey God told me you some of us

  520. got say no to people. So I love you.

  521. I do love you. You'll feel that way, right?

  522. I love you, but I'm going to follow God's voice on this one.

  523. That's how we rise up. Amen.

  524. You gotta go against the culture if everybody agrees with you.

  525. That looks like the world did. You probably should be doing

  526. something a little different and you go to God, you take a blank

  527. piece of paper and you sign name at the bottom say Okay, God,

  528. whatever you put on it. I'm going to go over boundary

  529. after cross over charred territory, God's not call you to

  530. play it. Safe, kind of tell you that.

  531. God not call you to be in the comfort zone of life.

  532. He didn't call it a float. I was said dead.

  533. Fish flows Downstream. Come on, somebody.

  534. You don't have to do anything to flow along with the world that

  535. God has called us to be countercultural by faith.

  536. Amen. Some of y'all, look at your

  537. family's like dude, I got to be that guy for my family.

  538. Like I'd be the generational change, it was for me and my

  539. house, I love you all. Mama serve the Lord, amen.

  540. So I'm going to go right? I know you left.

  541. I'm going right. All right, I'm gonna, I'm gonna

  542. follow God with this. I'm going to take that that

  543. step. So we don't be friends, but the

  544. reality is only follow Jesus. Verse 7, says, it's by faith.

  545. Noah we warned about things. Not yet seen it never rained

  546. before. Noah built a boat.

  547. Come on somebody. That's awkward a, right?

  548. The whole years you're building up about like, what is going on,

  549. it's going to rain. So what in the would talk about

  550. it says in what helped me out and what in Holy fear?

  551. Yeah, that's that's what that's how you go to God, right.

  552. Fear God not man, right? And holy reverence like okay the

  553. word of God says God speaking to me, I'm going to take it with

  554. him. I'll put all in on Jesus.

  555. I'm like, I'm like Nitro Circus done thinking, right?

  556. You, you're going for you taking the jump, you're taking a leap,

  557. that's what faith is. It's trusting, if I sit on the

  558. stool, I trust the fact that's going to hold me and when Jesus

  559. says, just we need to do, I'm just gonna trust the fact that's

  560. going to happen. Who knows?

  561. God's promise is always come true.

  562. Amen. It's never, he's faithful and

  563. true. If he says it it's going to

  564. happen is we got speaks a word into your life.

  565. I've got nudges, you had rection, don't be afraid of

  566. failing, be afraid to stay in the same, you know, because

  567. God's in it and he's in a he want he wants to see you

  568. through. He says by faith and holy fear,

  569. he built an ark to save his family and by faith, he

  570. condemned the world and became heir of righteousness.

  571. You see a comparison between faith and righteousness.

  572. Here all the time, doesn't keeping with the Faith by faith

  573. Abraham. And this is a boy to study right

  574. here. By faith Abraham, when called to

  575. go to a place. He would later receive as

  576. inheritance obeyed and went even though help me out, he did not

  577. know where he was going. I love this.

  578. This is maybe the greatest picture of faith.

  579. I mean, you have this. Basically God goes to Abraham

  580. and says, hey, I'm gonna make a great nation of you and he says,

  581. you're gonna leave the Earth of the Chaldeans and you're gonna

  582. go to a place that I will eventually show you.

  583. This man is extremely wealthy has extreme livestock.

  584. All these things packs, his family up intense.

  585. He starts going Going not even knowing the destination.

  586. None of you got in the car ever in your life maybe once right.

  587. And didn't know where you're going to go you know you knew

  588. for sure. You're going to Big Daddy Donuts

  589. to. Come on somebody, you knew for

  590. sure you're going to go to the scooters.

  591. But for him is like, I don't know.

  592. God, let's just start on this path together and by faith.

  593. He packed his stuff up and went and obeyed.

  594. God. He moved outside, the

  595. comfortable. I mean, in other words, he went

  596. past the reef. Come on somebody, right?

  597. He moved Beyond Moana movement, right?

  598. Like I'm the pursue out the distance.

  599. And go, where God has called me to go?

  600. Can I tell you today? There's no military issue.

  601. Lazy Boy recliner 's. Come on somebody, you'll join

  602. the kingdom of God and get comfortable.

  603. You don't get the front line in a trench and expect it to be

  604. easy. When you take the ground that

  605. you need to take in your life, the ground that God's called you

  606. to take. It is a difficult Journey, like

  607. self crucifixion, self-emptying self-denial, losing yourself,

  608. emptying yourself to go back to Jeremy Camp.

  609. Look at album called, T, his wife died of cancer and he wrote

  610. this whole album of just Brokenness of crying out to God.

  611. We got to the point of life, which is no longer about our

  612. ability or inability, but as about his ability, amen.

  613. And so we just follow God by faith.

  614. There's nothing to do about you. And then you're going to find,

  615. there's enough of God in you, to be the person that God has

  616. called you to be. It's not your ability.

  617. And so it says this verse 9 by faith, this is Abraham.

  618. He made his home in the promised land like a stranger and One

  619. country, he lived in tents as an Isaac and Jacob who were heirs

  620. with him from the same of the same promise.

  621. I love this. That boy didn't even build

  622. houses. Come on somebody.

  623. I mean this world was so temper for him.

  624. He has put a tent up. It was like well I'm just gonna

  625. pass through. I'm not going to call this home.

  626. I'm not going to get too grounded or too concerned about

  627. the things this world because I'm just passing through this

  628. foreign territory goes on the say.

  629. This says for he was looking forward.

  630. I love this to the city with fountains whose architect Act

  631. and Builder is God. He knew he wasn't home until he

  632. saw those beautiful fountains and glory and the city that was

  633. built by Jesus. Whose architect was God.

  634. He said, this is my home. Amen.

  635. And maybe the problem was so much of our culture and maybe

  636. cultural Christianity is that we forgotten that this world is not

  637. our home. We are consumed about making

  638. this world so comfortable, they were forgotten the fact that

  639. it's not called to be comfortable that we will later

  640. head down one day in glory with amazing fountains and fruit from

  641. the tree. Come on somebody with those of

  642. the love Jesus and family and friends.

  643. And then we take a rest. But on this side of Eternity, we

  644. were called to live as foreigners in a Strange Land by

  645. faith and by faith. Even Sarah.

  646. This is his wife who was past childbearing age, was in able to

  647. Bear children because she considered him a love this time

  648. of God. Faithful, who had made the

  649. promise, if you look at Jesus and he's calling to do

  650. something, he will, he will make a way.

  651. Amen. Even we don't feel like you have

  652. a way. It doesn't make sense.

  653. You don't have enough money. You're not prepared.

  654. You don't have a plan. It's not, you don't feel like

  655. you have the resourcing, you don't have enough in you, God

  656. Will Make A Way every single time, because it's God, Amen.

  657. That's just what he does. And so from this one, man,

  658. Abraham and he is good as dead in his old age.

  659. Kim descendants. As numerous as the Stars the sky

  660. as countless as a sand of the seashore.

  661. Now I know about this but Abraham died, had a nation, a

  662. great nation, a huge nation of eight.

  663. People come all somebody that was his nation and he lived he

  664. lived for a promise. He looks forward to the

  665. promised. My fact, it says this and this

  666. is Tommy. All the people we talked about.

  667. It says, all these people we've mentioned, we're still living by

  668. faith. When they died did not receive

  669. the things those promised they were looking forward to a

  670. promise, looking out to a promise and Only saw them and

  671. welcomed them from a distance and this one who told themselves

  672. admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on

  673. Earth. And this is, this is where the

  674. call the Christian we shouldn't fit in.

  675. If your goal is to fit in, you will not live by faith and not

  676. the things of God in your life. You're going to fit in with your

  677. friends. You have the wrong goal.

  678. Amen. I mean, you're called to be the

  679. outcast. You're called to be the weirdo.

  680. The Jesus freak. You called me.

  681. The guy that just like, what's up with that guy?

  682. And it honestly is so attraction.

  683. We're going to talk about what faith Looks like and this side

  684. of Eternity. But and then the fact this isn't

  685. my home, people say such things, they show that they're looking

  686. for a country of their own. If they had been looking

  687. thinking of a country, they had left that have found the

  688. opportunity to return. It is so easy to tell somebody

  689. who's going to go the distance and somebody's not because

  690. they're always looking over their shoulder back and what

  691. they used to have the New Testament says this, whoever

  692. puts her hands to the plow and looks back is not fit for the

  693. kingdom of God. I mean your hands can be here,

  694. but if your hearts back they're going to find a way to go back,

  695. aren't you? We gotta move our heart from

  696. here on Earth and move our heart into heaven.

  697. Amen. But this is our desire Heaven

  698. should be so close. I mean, I love that song

  699. homesick, right? Like I want to go home but God

  700. has me here but that's the heart of a Christian.

  701. So I'm just going to gather as much for the kingdom of God and

  702. live by faith the kingdom God and see what God will do for my

  703. life before I make it home. But this is not my home.

  704. I don't put down the deeper, it's Amen, I'm a foreigner, I'm

  705. a soldier and I just I'm just walking through step-by-step

  706. just going on, Okay, well that looks like the world but this

  707. isn't my home. People say such things.

  708. The looking for the country of their own, I don't belong here.

  709. I'm not going to get too comfortable instead their

  710. longing for a better country. There's something more out

  711. there, a Heavenly country. Therefore, God is not ashamed to

  712. be called their God for. He has prepared a city for them

  713. in heaven. I want to forget about this city

  714. of fountains. Amen.

  715. The city that architect of God has built for us.

  716. This is where our heart is at, amen.

  717. I mean you put your hope in here.

  718. You're going to be sorely disappointed.

  719. Maybe the end game is heaven and this is our home.

  720. This is where we're moving to as Christians.

  721. Have you been around a person of great faith?

  722. If you've been around a person that just was like, wow, the

  723. spirit of God is on that person and I don't know if you had that

  724. in your life, maybe you've seen it on TV or like a video or

  725. maybe the Bible study by somebody or read a book by

  726. somebody, but you kind of get some picture of what a person of

  727. great faith. Looks like your sense that

  728. before that Spirit of God like it's anointing is on is on them.

  729. The kind of people that like it's always the movement.

  730. God is kind of Falls over they go but the God is speaking

  731. through them like a vessel like the tip of the spear like an

  732. arrow shot into the culture. Have you been around these kind

  733. of people like you know you think of people like that,

  734. right? And I'm not going to make a

  735. living because they still have room to fall.

  736. That's what those are and say, right.

  737. But you think like Billy Graham, right?

  738. Like this is just just moved a nation like the platform of like

  739. a world scale to be used. By God, I think about men and

  740. people in our church like a local scale, or like a family

  741. scale, you think about person your family's like me, and that

  742. person they just bring up the level of spirituality, like this

  743. brings Jesus to our family. If it wasn't for that person,

  744. man, here's what, here's, I'll use this.

  745. Grab those kind of people. I'm a word, you use to describe

  746. them and maybe you find this true for you.

  747. I've been around these people seeing him and like being the

  748. word, I think of is transcended. These kind of people transcend

  749. their culture. You know, they don't fit There's

  750. like what man. Like, how do you do that?

  751. Like I can't, I don't know Faith, but look how much

  752. sacrifice. Like, how did you come up with

  753. that? Like how in the world?

  754. You have the courage in the to step out?

  755. You look at those people, like they transcend, think about

  756. transcend, it means breaking the limit.

  757. It means Rising above and going beyond the range of the limits

  758. to transcends. I mean, you think about people

  759. in your life, if you've been around and seen those people.

  760. It's like band. That's a foreign person in our

  761. family. Emily.

  762. Maybe you should be the fourth person or family.

  763. Men would be good thing to be the fourth person.

  764. Your family. Well, the foreign person our

  765. church that transcending the church, the kind of people like

  766. Jesus, that made Jesus show. But Sinners.

  767. What is thinners, do they do it? Most churches doing they run,

  768. they ran to Jesus. Amen.

  769. He was a friend of sinners that boys, a life of the party, no

  770. matter where he went. People went to him, he was

  771. trying to pray. He had a cut through the crowds

  772. and goal behind some rocks in the mound just to be quiet.

  773. So you can pray to God. Hit Ali crowd was always

  774. pursuing him because he was so attraction, 'l to Well, amen.

  775. Amen. I mean, we think about our

  776. lives. It's like a Maya transcended

  777. person. Can I be the kind of person that

  778. God's hand is all over. Shall be like person of faith

  779. that God's like, I'm picking that boy.

  780. Like, that person loves me and secret.

  781. He's worked, tails off behind the scenes, he's full of Faith.

  782. He's the kind of person that trust me with a little.

  783. And now I can give that person more.

  784. They transcend people who changed Nations and changed

  785. countries and just on there. The prey of their news about

  786. David and Daniel. These ancients we've all these

  787. stories that transcended the Enoch transcended to translate

  788. up to heaven. I mean, the Earth didn't deserve

  789. that kind of faith and that kind of Heaven here on Earth.

  790. I just think God should help us to be transgender.

  791. People are generation. Amen.

  792. Amen. I'm usually that kind of people

  793. for our children and be transcended for our nation.

  794. I mean transcended, their our workplace people should know.

  795. There's something different about that boy.

  796. I can't put my finger on because you can't put your finger on the

  797. band of God. But you do realize they're not

  798. from here but there's something so much greater about that, man,

  799. or woman of Jesus and everybody should see where you go.

  800. Should say, man, that person loves Jesus.

  801. And when you get closer to you, this is how, you know,

  802. somebody's transcended. When you get closer to them, you

  803. discover the heart of God. The kind of people when you sit

  804. down with and you're like, wow, I feel like I just met a little

  805. closer to Jesus. Today.

  806. They're the kind of people you don't get closer to and go, guys

  807. are phony. Does it kind of people get

  808. closer to me like, wow, how did you get where you're at today?

  809. How did, how did God move in your heart to get that level?

  810. And they're going to say the same thing to say today by

  811. faith. Amen!

  812. By Faith, by faith. It's not them.

  813. It's God, Hebrews 11:17 by faith Abraham when God tested him

    Hebrews 11:17

  814. offered Isaac. This is his son as a sacrifice.

  815. Who he who had one who had embraced the promises.

  816. This is Abraham embrace the promise of the of God in his

  817. life. He had deep conviction.

  818. He was full sinned. As Diane says, all times a team

  819. full sin. There was nothing happened,

  820. Alden for Jesus, was able was about to sacrifice his one and

  821. only son, even though God had said to him it is through Isaac

  822. that your Offspring will be reckoned.

  823. I mean think about this, you know the story.

  824. If you don't know it you got to look it up.

  825. You have Abraham who's really raising the knife to sacrifice

  826. his own son on the altar in place of another sacrifice

  827. because God said, hey, take your son up to sacrifice him because

  828. Isaac it almost become like an idol to Abraham.

  829. He was testing Abraham to see his faith and so he gets up

  830. there and he raises the knife up willing to kill his son, who God

  831. told him the air of your generations and your legacy your

  832. nation is going to be killed. It made no sense.

  833. It doesn't make any rational sense.

  834. Does it make any sense? But Abraham, he Stood God, he

  835. had faith in God. That God would somehow make

  836. away. Love what happens here, Abraham

  837. reasons. And this is the type of reason

  838. that doesn't exist in 2023 and our education doesn't exist, our

  839. nation and doesn't exist anywhere.

  840. Besides the people of God who know that the word of God and

  841. people are faithful to God, Abraham reasoned with faith.

  842. He said that if God could even raise the dead and even at mayor

  843. speaking, he even did receive Isaac back from Death, Abraham

  844. believed so much that he just stabbed eyes.

  845. Can I shake down the altar? That the only way this never

  846. work out is that God has raised him from the dead, his so much

  847. faith. That if I killed my own son,

  848. that got to bring it back to life.

  849. It's always going to work out and I think in this generation

  850. we've got to add Faith back in the equation.

  851. Amen, we gotta add Faith back into our reason.

  852. It's not unreasonable. It is actually the only thing

  853. that is reasonable. It takes more faith to be an

  854. atheist. It takes more faith to be a

  855. secular humanist. It takes more faith to wander

  856. apart from God. It takes more faith to do all

  857. those things. Then the trust God, and To serve

  858. God. Amen.

  859. Something like step on my toes. Look, the promises of God are so

  860. true. If he died racism a life, John

    John 3:16

  861. 3:16 for God. So loved the world that he gave

  862. his only son one and only son KJV gave His only begotten son,

  863. that reference actually refers back to.

  864. This is the only time you see in the Bible, the one only son be

  865. sacrificed if God can raise him from the dead.

  866. So just promise is always true. It's gospel.

  867. Truth by faith. Isaac blessed.

  868. Jacob. And Esau in regards to the

  869. Future by faith, Jacob, when he was dying.

  870. Each of Joseph's sons and worshiped as he leaned on top of

  871. his staff by faith Joseph when his when his end was near spoke

  872. about the Exodus of the Israelites from Egypt and gave

  873. instructions concerning the barrel of his bones by faith.

  874. Moses has parents mom and dad, you don't see that in the

  875. picture on the wall of the Ark, you know, the the drawings.

  876. But Mom and Dad hid him for three months after his born,

  877. instead of having him killed tossin.

  878. So now they hit him because they saw, he was no ordinary child.

  879. And they were what hell? No.

  880. They were not. They're not afraid of the king's

  881. edict. I'm gonna let you know.

  882. Today, we aren't the first generation that to pick from the

  883. faith in God, or fear of a king or culture.

  884. We're not the first generation of parents that have to

  885. fearlessly, protect our kids from the things of a king or a

  886. kingdom of a culture. Amen.

  887. We're not the first generation after to push up hill.

  888. Now, the first generation that's misunderstood, it has to do

  889. things in secret and had to fight the good fight of faith

  890. and have to War for the things of God.

  891. Whatever else is going left and said, no, no, I'm going to do.

  892. Going to do it the gods way. I'm going to fear God, not man.

  893. And look at this by faith, Moses because his parents had faith in

  894. God. Here's Moses, it's amazing Moses

  895. when he'd grown up because he had a chance at life because

  896. they feared God, I love looking his words.

  897. Refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh's daughter.

  898. He refused it. He said no, thanks not for me.

  899. He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God, rather

  900. than enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin.

  901. He chose He refused to be counted as a household of

  902. pharaoh and then he chose to be identified as a Hebrew and to

  903. follow the God of all gods and never forgot where he came from.

  904. Amen. He just chose to take to walk

  905. away from all these things. We have fortune and fame and

  906. money. All these things, the fleeting

  907. pleasures of sin and says, verse 26.

  908. He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as greater value

  909. than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to

  910. his Reward. He, he'd rather not sell out to

  911. the Egyptian dream. Here are not be comfortable, he

  912. really not. Just go with the flow and fit in

  913. his little good health, a fun life up in the palace and do

  914. what he wants to do. No, no, he's real.

  915. He's identified with God, Amen. This is, what baptism is?

  916. I mean, you're literally saying, hey, I'm in for Jesus, I don't

  917. know what's gonna cost me, but I don't care because I know what

  918. God is already giving me another award that said heaven for me,

  919. I'm just going to follow God, I won't be on his side.

  920. I don't know, if you'll play dodgeball, what side of the

  921. fence? You're on your own?

  922. I'm going to go with Jesus. Amen.

  923. I know what kind of games you like to play, but there's not a

  924. game with God. So I'm going to go on God's side

  925. and God Honors that see Moses. No, that's what his home.

  926. He didn't sell out by faith. He left.

  927. Egypt. Not fearing the Kings anger.

  928. Come on somebody. I'm somewhat were so motivated

  929. about fear but the three at regards is we got a fear, the

  930. one who's worthy to be feared, not the person that can kill the

  931. body, but the the God of all gods that can kill the body and

  932. the Soul, right? We have a healthy reverence of

  933. God is the beginning of all wisdom.

  934. And so we make a choice. It's like which direction to go,

  935. which we got. Hey, I'm going to follow the

  936. direction of God and he persevered because you saw that

  937. he was invisible course. He got a burning bush that helps

  938. a little bit. Come on somebody, right.

  939. But it wouldn't matter. People can see a burning bush,

  940. they can be Jesus, they still crucified him by faith.

  941. He kept the Passover, an application, the blood on the

  942. lintel. So that the story of the

  943. firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel.

  944. And by faith, the people pass through the Red Sea as on dry

  945. land, but when the Egyptians tried to do so they were

  946. drowned. I want you to notice so far in

  947. this whole passes of Hebrews chapter 11, what didn't happen,

    Hebrews 11 chapter mention

  948. what did they do? It wasn't by intelligence.

  949. Come on somebody. It wasn't by higher secondary,

  950. or higher education or the Agree or PhD.

  951. It wasn't because their ability it was because of hard work.

  952. It wasn't because they were qualified.

  953. It wasn't because they're successful or famous or popular

  954. it wasn't because they're trying to make people happy.

  955. Amen. It wasn't because they're trying

  956. to boost up the culture and be in the Limelight.

  957. It wasn't because they're trying to keep their friends.

  958. It wasn't because they were fully resource for the vision.

  959. Amen. Somebody got a big Vision on how

  960. to get their God will figure it out.

  961. You just be faithful, right? It wasn't because their top of

  962. their class and it wasn't because they're fully prepared.

  963. If you're waiting for prepared, you've missed the entire

  964. opportunity, amen. You're missing it, you got to go

  965. now. Like there's a mission.

  966. It's Uncharted, you know, we put people on the moon with

  967. intelligence, not even a microwave today.

  968. Come on somebody, right? We just find a way to push into

  969. the kingdom of God, by faith. The battles are won and fought

  970. by God from our knees. Junior, open the Bible.

  971. It's always interesting because, you know, when people open the

  972. Bible because it seems to be like a kind of Rarity for most

  973. people, but they opened the Bible is like me and God showed

  974. me something. And so his flipped it open and

  975. God Start speaking here. Notice that in your life, you

  976. can flip to any part of the Bible and God speaks to you even

  977. Leviticus. Come on, somebody like something

  978. just Man. Okay, God spoke to me, maybe a

  979. little struggle, right? But God speaks to, you is so

  980. happens. So many times.

  981. And, you know, if you crack the Bible open, he's probably trying

  982. to solve, right? It's just Brad, the middle of

  983. the spine, you know, Joe main guys are speaking, right, but

  984. here's the reality, as Christians see, most people

  985. like, pick a book, but as Christians, the book picked us.

  986. Amen. It's a Living Word.

  987. And as you all know the word you want, Jesus is called the word

  988. just opened the Bible and started the word speak into your

  989. life. And so you get alone with God

  990. and say, okay, God, what you want me to do and those secret

  991. dark moments when nobody's around, that's your faith is

  992. built. A men like on the right here.

  993. This is, this is just like a spur on Moment.

  994. Like, This isn't a faith-building moment.

  995. You got to get face to face with Jesus.

  996. Amen. Like that's your responsibility.

  997. That's your part to play and God is willing to use you as a

  998. transcended person of great faith in your family, in your

  999. culture. If you are willing to fall

1000. deeply in desperately, in love with Jesus.

1001. We live by faith, not by sight. He was 11:30 says, this by

1002. faith, the walls of Jericho fell after armies.

1003. Had marched around them for seven days immigrant trumpet.

1004. Come on somebody, right? Just like Katie to the ground

1005. right by faith. Look at this, I love this The

1006. Prostitute Rahab because she welcomed the spies was not

1007. killed. And those who were in or with

1008. those who are disobedient. I love that women made and Hall

1009. of Fame and Faith. Amen, there is great.

  1010. Women of Faith. I can't tell.

1011. People, I talked to it's like my grandma showed me Jesus.

1012. My grandma brought me to church. My grandma pulled me to Christ.

1013. That is so many people's stories.

1014. And here you have recognized like there's when the faith all

1015. throughout history, all throughout the Bible, but even

1016. cooler than that, in the story of a prostitute, you have an

1017. ordinary or maybe less than order is people consider a

1018. broken empty, maybe leftover just Every day people.

1019. Come on, somebody. Nothing special.

1020. And God uses her. Her faith to do extraordinary

  1021. things for God. Amen.

1022. And so if you're looking around like a man, but if you do my

1023. past I don't I personally don't need no your pass to know Jesus

1024. who forgave your past? Amen.

1025. And so we got stop looking in the rearview mirror and being

1026. held on by this anchor. Oh, look what happened in my

1027. life? It's like glory to God because

1028. what much is much as much as forgiving.

1029. Then much is required. Amen.

1030. And so you can just go like, well, me and God just took down

1031. that big anchor. Praise God.

1032. Hallelujah. Ooh, I've got a story to tell

1033. and so you guys are blessed with the ability to share your story.

1034. I once was a sinner, but God saved me.

1035. I once was blind, but now I see. Amen.

1036. And look at, look at Rahab and her story, it's like, man, if

1037. God can use her, by the way, so far down the list, you've had a

1038. murderer. You had people sleep with her,

1039. Daughters, you have a drunkards, you've had an another person who

1040. was killed by somebody. I mean, just if you don't know

1041. the Bible, I'm sorry because it is so real.

1042. Nobody, can nobody write this. If they're writing this, they

1043. don't. Okay, people are history, they

1044. cut out all that stuff in their family right?

1045. Come on is the perfect family right just like that picture.

1046. You just retake the picture. They just write how they want to

1047. ride it but this is the real deal and so we can have faith in

1048. God. Just ordinary people do

1049. extraordinary things for God. The key greeting is simply this

1050. by Faith by faith. I'm gonna tell you what.

1051. Faith looks like your life and found in Titus.

    Titus 3:4–7

1052. Chapter 3 verse 4 through 7, and this is the gospel.

1053. This is one of the greatest presentations of the Gospel.

1054. This is Paul speaking to your Protege like build them up,

1055. right? It says this but when the

1056. kindness and love of God, our savior appeared he saved us.

1057. Now, don't forget this. This is it not because of

1058. righteous things, we had done, you know, you're forgiven, not

1059. because that you are a good person you know you're not

1060. forgiven because you measure up. You're not forgiven because

1061. you're perfect. I've been giving it forgive me

1062. because you went to church and you read your Bible like the

1063. thief on the cross. He did nothing righteous, he

1064. probably never prayed before a meal, you probably know the name

1065. of God, and for just, but God's Divine Providence, he is hanging

1066. across next Tuesday, I'll see you in Paradise.

1067. He says, you're forgiven, you're forgiven by this, look what it

1068. says now because of righteous things, you've done.

1069. But because of his Mercy, his Mercy, his Mercy.

1070. Mercy is when somebody shows up and they steal your truck, and

1071. then you hit you hand him. The next Keys, the next car.

1072. That's that's Mercy right. That Justice is when somebody

1073. steals your truck you just you take them out back you know I'm

1074. saying that's Justice Mercy is like oh you want the car o have

1075. this car too right and the grace of God is like oh hey don't

1076. worry. It's forgiving, you can have all

1077. this but just freely given no strings attached, Jesus on the

1078. seat, taking the execution for us.

1079. He takes her penalty or payment for our sin but because of his

1080. Mercy, he saved us through the washing of rebirth and the All

1081. by the Holy Spirit whom he poured out on us.

1082. Help me out how us generously generously.

1083. Do you know you get a full dose of the Holy Spirit when you came

1084. to Christ and it wasn't because anything you did, what whether

1085. you killed people, you sold drugs with your complete

1086. lunatic, whether you treat you like trash, whether you

1087. personally let out of the divorce and it's all your fault.

1088. Where the person who did all this other stuff, it does not

1089. matter whatsoever. When you came to Christ he gave

1090. you the full dose. Matter fact, he didn't take a

1091. little eyedropper of the Holy Spirit and Go Peep.

1092. And when you grow a little more peep like you little bleep.

1093. No, no. He gave you the full dose of the

1094. Holy Spirit. He generously gave it to you.

1095. This was not to support that bag of chips.

  1096. Come on somebody. Right?

1097. You know, so it gets smaller every day.

1098. It's like what in the world? This is the full bag of Jesus.

1099. Amen. So I'm telling you this is you

1100. have all it takes inside of you through the Holy Spirit to be

1101. Transcendent in our culture. Amen.

1102. Amen. Jesus is the Christ Jesus.

1103. Our savior not you Christ in You haven't been Justified declared

1104. righteous by grace that we might become heirs having hope of

1105. eternal life, it's lacrosse that qualifies you to break the

1106. limits and we should by faith here, 11:32 and what, what more

1107. should I say? I do not have time, which I

1108. don't, but I don't have time to tell you about Gideon and Barak

1109. and Samson in jephthah. Now, if you don't know about

1110. Jessica ago, judge 11, been amazing story.

1111. This guy's like a wild Warrior kind of like Elijah kind of,

1112. dude, it's amazing. Of David and Samuel the prophets

1113. in through faith, look what happens through faith.

1114. This is amazing. They conquered kingdoms

1115. administer Justice gained. What was promised?

1116. And we talked about this and shut the mouths of lions.

1117. Amen. They quench the fury of flames

1118. escaped. The edge of the sword and whose

1119. weakness was turned to strength. It wasn't about their ability,

1120. it was about their inability God, used their weakness and he

1121. became strong. It says this, that they became

1122. powerful and battle rather Foreigner.

1123. When the received back through dead raised to life.

1124. Again, there were others who were tortured refusing to be

1125. released that they may gain and even better.

1126. Resurrection. They say I'd rather die for

1127. Christ and denounce Christ. So I guess you have to take me

1128. out. There's so many Martyrs that

1129. say, you know what? That's where my house was sort

1130. of lure. This we're going to do and they

1131. died a death because it rather just sit there.

1132. Say I'm a Christian and some facial cheers, which is mockings

1133. and flogging and even chains and imprisonment.

1134. And they were put to death by stoning and they were sold into

1135. two and they're killed by The Sword and the They went about in

1136. sheepskins and goatskins being destitute persecuted.

1137. In mistreated verse 38, probably most powerful phrase.

1138. The entire chapter 11 says us that the world was not worthy.

1139. Come on somebody. Let me that might be the

1140. greatest definition of Faith. Somebody who lives in such a way

1141. that the world was not worthy of their walk by faith, not by

  1142. sight. Really, by faith.

1143. Push it into a generation like leaving the way.

1144. They don't make any sense to me, but I have to put my faith, you

1145. know, God called me to launch a church.

1146. Okay, my faith launch the church.

1147. Is it going to work out? I've no idea.

1148. Come on somebody. You know I mean he's like he's

1149. got to do it. I don't know if you don't do it

1150. we're going to move somewhere else, right?

1151. We're just keep moving forward and thank God, try to go to Asia

1152. as well. That's not going to work out

1153. this way. Just by faith, it's a

  1154. generation. It steps up.

1155. I mean how much faith on the scale that we have right?

1156. Let me know you marked by faith or Humana William of Faith.

1157. These people they honored God in the darkest days.

1158. They're persecuted in the darkness, they're outcasts, they

1159. were killed. They set such an example, the

1160. presence of God, the world didn't deserve such men and

1161. women. I think about these men and we

1162. talk about Enoch little bit that these what it means to be you to

1163. be not worth the world out. There were these kind of people,

1164. it's a lemon zest. There are So Much Heaven in them

1165. that the world to deserve their walk on earth.

1166. He came aggen being so much like Jesus.

1167. That God just says the world isn't worthy of you.

1168. I mean, I want to go through that tunnel and having you know

1169. like one of the well, the archway is right, where the

1170. gates. These be like just pray to

1171. people go man. You want those wants the God

1172. just called you home because the world wasn't worthy of your

1173. walk. Amen, you changes in duration,

1174. you change the community, he laid out.

1175. Out there and you're the blood of your life.

1176. What you did lives on Beyond you because you can't silence the

  1177. work of God. Amen.

1178. This is what God is calling us to do and we can rise up.

1179. Why Can't We Be The Chariot of fire generation?

1180. What is stopping us from? Pushing that direction who can

1181. stop the work of God. Amen.

1182. Just us just ourselves. If God is willing, we move, we

1183. push we transcend in our culture.

1184. Verse 38 says, they wandered in deserts and mountains, live in

1185. caves and holes in the ground. They're all commended their

1186. clotted for their faith. Yeah.

1187. None of them received. What they've been promised last

1188. verse of chapter 11 since God had planned?

1189. God had a purpose and all of this pain.

1190. All the things was happening. Got in playing something better.

1191. There we come. The Picture for us.

1192. These people didn't live through the promise, they're still

1193. looking forward to it and they the will was worthy what they

1194. did there fighting for the things of God, but never

1195. received it because of us. Now, we enter the picture.

1196. So that only together with us, these ancients of Faith would be

1197. made perfect with. This is simply saying, is this

1198. not Kingdom? We talked about that, that city

1199. of fountains member and architecture was God and the

1200. Builder, was God? Why hasn't that come yet?

1201. Why are we in the city of fountains?

1202. What, why are we there yet? And the simple answer is this

1203. because God wants us. Amen.

1204. He wants us, he is patiently enduring all this in all the

1205. chaos, all the Brokenness, all the things so that we could know

1206. him and together with these ancient of faith, we get to

1207. fulfill the promise, same in the God wants us to know him.

1208. Think of second Peter 3. Nine.

1209. This is put this in your heart, in your mind.

1210. It says this, the Lord is not slow, in keeping his promise as

1211. some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you

1212. not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to

1213. repentance. What is simply saying, is this,

1214. is that everything up to this point?

1215. Every moment in time is created for this exact moment for you to

  1216. know Jesus. Amen.

1217. Everything is pointed to this right now.

1218. This intersection for you to know God to tippity part of the

1219. story of God, either comes a day when you don't need Faith.

1220. There comes a day when your faith becomes side.

1221. Amen, we need to put your hands and put your head into the found

1222. of God's. Come on, somebody.

1223. You to walk on the streets of gold where you don't have oil

1224. slicks because your car breaks down, come on.

1225. You don't change flat tires and Heaven into the centerpiece is

1226. Jesus and you fall before God, and you just dry out and

1227. thankful heart broken before him.

1228. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you.

  1229. Jesus. Sis.

1230. This is why I lived a life of faith.

1231. My faith has now become site. Amen.

1232. Every day by faith, believing that God is right here.

1233. Next, use the air. I breathe.

1234. He's in the moments. He's here with us.

1235. It's a manual means God With Us. Jesus is name.

1236. Alone means he is with you. But think about this, God did

1237. not just die and his mom was created.

1238. Just so, you know him. He's also created so that others

1239. can know him as well, a man, so you can know him and make him

1240. known. So, you weren't great to be

  1241. silent. Amen.

1242. There's no faith in silence. Now, in fact, they call a sin of

1243. Silence. There's a lot of good people

1244. that believe in God, that sits silent but there's very few men

1245. and women that the boldness and courage to step out and open

1246. their mouths for the glory of God.

  1247. Amen. And that's what's 123 is, it is

1248. the year where we break boundaries, it's the year we we

1249. come out with our faith. If there is a were done hiding

1250. in the corners, we're done being pushed.

1251. It back on and being down. I no longer afraid the King.

1252. Come on somebody, the lowercase k, right?

1253. I'm gonna walk in the glory of God and we made a faith person

1254. has Faith uncle in Beijing. I think about it.

1255. Amen. It's make a post this and be

1256. cancelled culture, our church come outside, right?

  1257. And I don't care, I keep telling Dynamic retread, I'm like a

1258. relic I'm like that old school leftover man of Faith.

1259. Like it's just there, I'm just being pushed into a corner all

1260. the time and then he culture and Society, it's like just like

1261. what an outdated thing. What is not outdated, it's

1262. really man, and we get to, we got to live it out, we got to

1263. live it out, not being rude or pushing down on people.

1264. We love people to Jesus. We don't expect them all to

1265. understand that our soldiers were foreigners.

1266. In this country, we transcend our culture where generation

1267. that the world wasn't worthy of that should be our generation.

1268. A men should put a sign above the door.

1269. The world is not worthy. That's what kind of men and

1270. women are. Its kind of children.

1271. We raise, we didn't limit the call of God willing to a chair.

1272. Then charted territory with took grounds the gospel, we broke

1273. barriers, not because we're perfect.

  1274. We're forgiven. And we're faith-filled for

1275. Jesus, Michelle, Knight scripture or out of here, but

1276. this is. You think about the guiding your

1277. face. Now, your spiritual life taking

1278. off Cutting out the voices fueled by the power of prayer

1279. marked by prayer and unchartered territory.

1280. This is the passage for you. It's Hebrews. 12 verse 1,

    Hebrews 12:1

1281. through 3 and it says, simply says this, therefore, which is

1282. referring back to everything we just said, he was loving, right?

1283. Because all these Great Men of Faith, all these stories since

1284. we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us

1285. throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so

1286. easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance, the race

1287. marked out for us. It was a race for you, the Jesus

1288. is marked out and you're called by faith to run that race like

1289. pushing to the Gates of Hell to pick up the laid-back lasered

1290. better, recliner and put up and just get rid of it and move

1291. forward to things of God, Amen. You have race.

1292. They running towards fixing our eyes on, Jesus might be the

1293. greatest part of that passage. You're looking at Christ the

1294. entire time, the Pioneer and Perfecter of faith for the joy

1295. set, before Jesus, he endured the cross.

1296. Scorning its shame. He sat down at the right hand of

1297. the Throne of God. If you want your year and your

1298. life to make a difference, this is the virtue better putting

1299. hard because there's hard times and difficult seasons and says,

1300. verse 3 says, considered Jesus who endured such opposition from

1301. Sinners, that you will not grow weary and lose heart, if you

1302. want to give up, you look no further than the cross of Jesus,

1303. because it was worth, Jesus going all the way for us

1304. splitting every ounce of his blood so that we could know him.

1305. It is worth me spending every ounce of my blood to serve him.

1306. Amen. This is called God by faith.

1307. We live our life. You want your life the matter

1308. Bill live it by faith not by sight father.

1309. Come before you better pray for a generation of transcended.

1310. People gather put you first before of faith today, my

1311. favorite group people that's in the house and those are seen it.

1312. What I know Jesus, but today I recognize that one playing it

1313. safe I've been playing inside of a box territory babe.

1314. I said Moses rules made my limit of my own smaller faith of the

1315. day. I'll have Faith in God.

1316. I'll be transcended person. I would take ground.

1317. I'll be that person for my family.

1318. I mean, I personally where God calls me to go, I'm going to

1319. live a life of great faith, transcend in my culture.

1320. And I've been weary, I've been broken and I realized that they

1321. are looking at Jesus and he went all for me.

1322. So I'm going all for him and that you day, we just put your

1323. hand high and say, you know what?

  1324. That's me. I'm a big faith today.

1325. I'm gonna go all in for Jesus. I'm a live on faith as hands.

1326. All across this room. I'll pray for your father.

1327. You see the hands got, make us to generation, but the world.

1328. Wasn't worthy. Let us get to heaven.

1329. One day. There was Chariots of Fire and

1330. that generation does the generation that stood up took

1331. round back. It was afraid.

1332. Most Fearless the culture. So God gives the boldness and

1333. the courage because we put our face to your face, the face into

1334. the Bible, and we saw you face to face and humble ourselves.

1335. We walk by faith, not by sight. We pray for one more group

  1336. people. That's those.

1337. You that walked in the day and say, no, I'm a man of no faith.

1338. I'm a woman of faith. I came in with very little faith

1339. that Nice face. But today, I recognize that

1340. Jesus is patiently waiting for me at this moment.

1341. In time is not an accident that somebody brought me here and it

1342. took faith in them. Invite me.

1343. And that they brought me into the word of God and I hear the

1344. voice of God speaking to me today.

1345. I want to know Jesus, oh, no, the Father, the author, and the

1346. finisher of Faith. I'll be in that city of

1347. fountains one day and that's you.

1348. And you want Jesus. We forgiven made new set free.

1349. If that's you just raise your hand high as I need.

1350. Jesus a day. Don't put your hand in the

1351. place. I'm gonna call you out, making

1352. weird with you. Jesus, come on.

1353. That's you just prayed his prayers.

1354. He finally got thanks so much for sending Jesus to die and

1355. make it way by faith to you. God thank you for the spirit of

1356. God that you're going to Port generously upon me today.

1357. God, I want to follow, you, make me Transcendent in my culture

1358. today. I'm going to bring the good news

1359. to someone else, because if you use came to my home, it's your

1360. thank you for saving me and change me.

1361. And I pray this in faith in Jesus.

1362. It's in his name. We pray.

1363. Amen, come on. Let's give up for God today.

1364. Let me know you love them. Come on.

1365. I mean, if you prayed that prayer, we are so excited for

1366. you this week and I just want you to know that's not the end

1367. of your journey. In fact, it's quite the

1368. opposite. It's the beginning and all of

1369. Heaven is rejoicing for you right now.

1370. So I want to give you some action steps.

1371. If that's you, I want to invite you to get your phone out and

1372. text are L next to 97,000, and when you do that, we just want

1373. to hit you up with some resources this week.

1374. And just just be available to answer any questions you might

1375. have about that next step of your journey, something else you

1376. could do on your way out. Out of the worship center today

1377. is that the back table you can grab a red bag and in that bag

1378. is a Bible, we just encourage you.

1379. Dive in Hebrews, would be a really cool place to start, just

1380. kind of following along with that message today.

1381. And again, there's just even more resources in there for you

1382. this week. You know, Shawn really called us

1383. this morning, to live a life, just transcended by faith.

1384. And we just one of the coolest ways we can do that.

1385. Most practical ways is just to say, we're not going to be

1386. silent anymore. So I want you to look on your

1387. chair, you're going to see a red card.

1388. That looks like, So that's just a really practical cool tool

1389. that you can have in Your Arsenal.

1390. This week is your talking to people you can hand this to

1391. someone and just say, hey, you know, here's where I go, here's

1392. where I worship each week and get connected, and I just want

1393. to invite you to come out and join me, sometime and meet some

1394. people who God and just people that are here for you and you're

1395. going to know Jesus. You're going to hear about your

1396. purpose and all that good stuff. What's cool about these cards?

1397. There prayed over each week by the real-life staff and I just

1398. encourage you to also add to that and pray over these cards

1399. yourself this week and just pray that God will put people in your

1400. brain that you could be talking to.

1401. And just if you really want to pulled prayer, you can say, God

1402. bring people in front of my path this week that I can talk to.

1403. So I said, courage, you to be inviting people out, bringing

1404. people out and that you will be bold by faith this week, man.

1405. One of the things I love about our church is just how generous

1406. you guys are. And, and you really set the pace

1407. and 2020 2022 and already here at the beginning of this year.

1408. One of the really cool ways you've done that.

1409. So our Hope Center, and I'm super excited to announce that

1410. we're going to really get to minister to the real-life youth.

1411. As they get to take over and really own that Hope Center on

1412. Sunday night starting. February 19th, can we give it a

1413. big for a real-life youth for all the adults that serve and

1414. just love on these kids, man, it's going to be awesome to have

1415. that anchor space that home. They can just call their own

1416. each and every week not putting anybody else out.

1417. And so we're just excited for that.

1418. And hey, that doesn't just happen.

1419. That's because of your generosity.

1420. And I want to invite you to play a part of generosity at real

1421. life, not just for our real-life youth.

1422. But for all the other Ministries, all the other goals

1423. that we have here to reach our community for Christ.

1424. And so, of course, I'm talking to people who call real life

1425. home. If you're brand new with us

1426. today, welcome home. We love having you here, but I'm

1427. not going to call you to generosity just yet.

1428. In fact, this Gathering was our gift to you, but if you do call

1429. real life home, here's some ways.

1430. You can play a part. Real Life Church kc.com you can

  1431. text any amount 8, 4 3, 2 1. We have a giving box in the very

1432. back where you can drop off envelopes cash, things like that

1433. and then our Usher's going to be coming by with the giving

1434. baskets and hey the giving buckets.

1435. I should say, hey if you find yourself immediately in need of

1436. food, clothing or shelter, we just invite you to go ahead and

1437. reach in those buckets as they go by finding a loose cash.

1438. You see, and use that to bless you and your family this week.

1439. One more exciting thing I want you to check out this video as

1440. you. A little bit more about

  1441. missions. Check it out.

1442. I want to give you a quick update on how your generosity is

1443. making a difference across the world.

1444. Through one of our global missions Partners in Colombia

1445. South America. The eec or Escuela de

1446. entrenamiento Cristiano is a in Residence discipleship training

1447. school where they take young people and put them into groups

1448. of small verbs, one-on-one, and life on life, discipleship.

1449. That is changing the landscape of Columbia for Jesus under the

1450. leadership of you go and Juliana Rodriguez.

1451. The EC is a place where young people can know God, they can

1452. learn how to follow him and ultimately they can become

1453. leaders for the cause of Christ in Colombia.

1454. Many young people are at a Crossroads in their life and the

1455. EC helps them to come together with God to say, what does my

1456. life look like? And it's truly a

1457. transformational place where they can connect to the heart of

1458. God. You go shared with me recently

1459. that the work that we did. Last summer has allowed he and

1460. his family to move on site at the school and it's just been a

1461. huge blessing for his family. Not to travel back and forth

1462. across the country while school is in and out of session.

1463. And he also shared, they are so excited because they've been

1464. able to add three full-time and one part-time staff member to

1465. help lead the school and they are.

1466. So expecting about all God is going to do in their next

1467. session which actually starts on February 17.

1468. When you give a real life, you are a part of making a

1469. difference through the See, not just in Bogota, But ultimately

1470. across the world. As many young people are making

1471. decisions to become Church Planters and work in the

1472. ministry across the world. So to all of you who give we

1473. thank you today. Some of you are thinking about

1474. breaking through the limits of this world has placed on you,

1475. maybe you're ready to take a big step of faith in something that

1476. God is calling you to. And so I want to challenge you

1477. that today, maybe that big step is to go with us to Colombia

1478. this year. I'm from August fit through a

1479. lemon three. Life is taking a team down to

1480. connect with the eec team to encourage their leadership and

1481. ultimately to see what God will do in the lives of us.

1482. When we're fully surrendered to him to find out more, you can

1483. join us for a short informational meeting on

1484. February 5th right after the second Gathering here at

1485. Kentucky Trail. God changes the world one person

1486. at a time and I believe that he wants to use you to make a big

1487. impact across our world this summer.

1488. Some of you are going to experience Since God in a whole

1489. new way, this summer and I can't wait to see how God can use your

1490. life to impact generations to come.

1491. Keep going to see you next week and in Columbia have a great

1492. week, guys. He's excited for Missions.

1493. I remember it was a video just like that last year that really

1494. called on Brooke and I his heart to a join the team in Columbia.

1495. And so I would encourage you all to Faithfully consider making

1496. room in both your budget and your calendar this year to join

1497. our team down in Bogota. So we'll be back next week,

  1498. 9:30. And 11:00 here, Kentucky Trail

1499. and online. If you do need to prayer for any

1500. reason, we will have a team member right here off the stage

1501. and as always, whoever finds Jesus discovers real life and

  1502. purpose. Next week.
