  39. Water in the stone made on the ground, no matter where I go,

  40. and I don't need to worry. Sweetie.

  41. So tries to you, Jesus. You won't realize.

  42. Well, welcome to the house. Today is something very special.

  43. We were doing a child dedication Sunday and you guys can be see

  44. it just for a moment here. And if we get an opportunity to

  45. really dedicate these families, these parents and his children

  46. back to God, our children are a Heritage from the Lord.

  47. God has given us our kids, and one of the greatest things that

  48. God can do in life is if we can Stewart our children.

  49. And so today we get to blessing of really honor these families

  50. Families. Get Behind these families, love

  51. on these families. In the finals of the Bible were

  52. a hand. It gives back, same will to God.

  53. It's a gift from God. But also find this as more than

  54. just a parent and a child, it's a whole family to Jesus.

  55. And so you find some Joshua and it's so powerful is found in

  56. Joshua 24. It says this, it says, now, fear

  57. the lord and serve him with all faithfulness, you fear, God,

  58. serve god with everything in your being.

  59. You put Jesus at the center of your family.

  60. Family says, throw away the gods, your ancestors, worshiped

  61. beyond the Euphrates, river and images, your throw away, all

  62. the, all the gods of the Earth, all the gods will around all

  63. things we worship. Besides Jesus.

  64. He says in serve the Lord sort of the one true God.

  65. So the God above all gods, the name of all maze.

  66. Put Jesus at the center of your family and Let Jesus changed the

  67. culture of your heart and your in transforming our children.

  68. But he says this in verse 15, both serve.

  69. The Lord seems undesirable to you than what help me out then.

  70. Then choose choose for yourself this day.

  71. Whom you will serve whether the gods, our ancestors served on

  72. the afraid, he's or the gods of the amorites, in whose lands,

  73. you are living your going to serve the God of this culture,

  74. the gods around you, the gods of all the things are going to

  75. serve the one true Living God. But Joshua says this.

  76. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.

  77. Amen. And today these families coming

  78. up, but they have chosen. Now they've made the decision

  79. that Rupert Jesus, right. The Order of our relationships.

  80. We want these to be God's children.

  81. I'm going to raise my family, but these are God's and our

  82. goals that he will change for Jesus.

  83. Their hearts be transformed by Jesus.

  84. They know Jesus and that we model for them was to be, but

  85. it's we follow Jesus and our lives.

  86. That's our calling as a dad. And a mom has families and us as

  87. a church. Amen.

  88. So they, they have made that decision and this is the

  89. response of the people that Josh was talking to Justin.

  90. The people answered far, be it from us to forsake the Lord, to

  91. serve other gods. I love this verse 17.

  92. It was the Lord It was a lord, Our God himself who brought us

  93. and our parents out of Egypt, to the land of slavery and

  94. performed. The Great Signs of her eyes.

  95. He protected us their entire journey and among all the

  96. nations there. What you traveled?

  97. And the Lord drove out before us all the nations, including the

  98. amorites, who lived in the lands.

  99. And we too will serve the Lord because he is our God, I love

  100. that. It was the Lord.

  101. And that's a story. Get here of these families, it

  102. was the Lord that rescued These parents it was a Lord that

  103. protected their families as Lord that brought them to this

  104. moment. There's a Lord that change them

  105. and transform them as the Lord that brought people into their

  106. path, to do this very moment that they could say, you know

  107. what, Jesus is the center of our family.

  108. So this is something that we have to go through the motion

  109. on. This is something we believe

  110. deeply in and you get a chance to hear their stories and what

  111. God has done their family and this really testimony.

  112. That it was the Lord, some have Holly come up and she's going to

  113. share their stories and I want you guys just to give praise to

  114. God for they're doing as I come up here on the stage.

  115. Age love, never behind him and love him.

  116. Amen. Love it.

  117. Come on. Give it up.

  118. Here we go. All right.

  119. First up, we have the Wilson family.

  120. He want to make your way up to the stage, here they come.

  121. All right. Well, they are dedicating lame,

  122. Jagger Wilson. He was born, July 3rd 2022.

  123. These are his parents Gavin, and Mary Wilson, when asked what

  124. specifically LED you to dedicate your child?

  125. I said, Gavin married. Grew up on believing in God but

  126. not dedicated to a church and they want Lane to love and live

  127. with God Lane has their first child and they want him to know

  128. God. We ask what was significant

  129. about Lanes. Named Lanes.

  130. Name came from Lane Frost, the bull rider Jagger was a unique

  131. name. Both Mary and Gavin.

  132. Loved from the early stages of pregnancy.

  133. What is something unique about lane lane?

  134. Has the biggest smile? He is so happy all of the time,

  135. his little giggles are so infectious.

  136. We also asked what are a few things that we can be praying

  137. specifically for you and your child, they asked for prayers

  138. for health, for happiness, and for financial wisdom as laying

  139. gross. Let's give it up for the lane

  140. one more time. All right.

  141. Next, we have the Burt family because want to make your way up

  142. to the stage. All right they are dedicating

  143. Jameson and jayven first. We've got Jameson Keith Bert, it

  144. was born, January 19th, 2017. These are his parents John and

  145. Jenni Burt when asked specifically what led them to

  146. dedicate their boys. I said we want to introduce

  147. Jesus and our children's life at a young age so that they might

  148. grow a great Bond. With our Lord and savior

  149. something significant about James Jameson's name.

  150. They said we just liked it. Jonathan good.

  151. I love that. Pick one out of the baby book

  152. but what something unique about Jameson, he's a bit corny and

  153. has a little bit of a rough side but he's really passionate about

  154. God and Jesus then we have Javen, Michael Birch, born

  155. September 26, 2019. Same for Jason's name.

  156. They just loved the name. Decided to choose that one but

  157. something unique about him is that he is our Wild Child.

  158. Old ball of energy and we would love to convert his energy into

  159. a love for our Lord and Savior. Jesus Christ, a few specific

  160. things. We can be praying for them and

  161. their boys as for health, for safety and a passion for the

  162. Lord, as they grow. Let's give it up for the Burt

  163. family. I love it.

  164. Next, we have the hosted family. Here they come.

  165. All right. Today, they're dedicating,

  166. Connor read ho sik, Haley, Lucille.

  167. Ho stick and Lila Jane. Oh sick.

  168. First up, we've got Connor. He was born, June 9th, 2013.

  169. These are his parents, Eddie and Mindy hosting.

  170. What specifically LED them to dedicate their kiddos today?

  171. Because we've been a part of real life for almost a year.

  172. Now, in our lives have never been better.

  173. We want our kids to see how important their faith is how

  174. amazing their God is. And we want them to see how much

  175. they are loved by our church family as well, something

  176. significant about Connors named Conor means lover of wolves /

  177. Hunter and read means red-haired.

  178. That's a strong. That's a strong name.

  179. Something unique about Connor. Connor is a very motional and

  180. apathetic Kiddo. He is quick to act when it comes

  181. to helping then we have Hayley Lucille, ho sik.

  182. She was born April 14th 2014. Something significant about

  183. Haley's name. It means Meadow and her middle

  184. name. Lucille is a combination of her

  185. great grandma's name. Something unique about Hayley,

  186. Hayley is a very determined little lady and she is the one

  187. to look out for the kids who are Outsiders and make sure that

  188. they feel like they are accepted and included.

  189. Lastly we've got Lila Jane ho sik.

  190. She was born November 14th, 2017 Lila's something significant

  191. about the named Lila Lila means night and Jane means, god is

  192. gracious, it's also her deceased great-grandma's middle name.

  193. Something unique about Leila Leila is such a wild Spirit.

  194. She loves to dance to the beat of Her Own Drum.

  195. She also already knows she loves her God.

  196. She's always the first to volunteer to pray.

  197. A few specific things. They asked.

  198. We prayed for over them and their kiddos.

  199. They want them to have a spiritual hunger, a sense of an

  200. intimate belonging and for their deepest struggles, to be

  201. redeemed. They also want them just to have

  202. a compassionate world view as they grow.

  203. Let's give it up for all of these families that shows to

  204. dedicate their kid us today. This is a very significant

  205. moment and I know you guys have gone through so much, the got

  206. just done so much in your life to get here, What the Lord Has

  207. Done, Right? And it's amazing to see the

  208. story of the Gods riding in each of you.

  209. And today we need to take a special time of prayer that

  210. we're just not behind you, but for you and this is your family

  211. as well. And so, what we'll do is invite

  212. you guys to stains the church, get on your feet.

  213. We are going to Basically worship a song over them, but

  214. we're gonna pray over him and this is a little different.

  215. Some people kind of feel weird about it but this is our time as

  216. a church to say we're behind you and we sing the song called the

  217. blessing and it's really about praying something special,

  218. someone else's life and the song of so applicable to the

  219. generations that are in front of us, it's all in do as a church

  220. is for you guys to actively engage in this song.

  221. To see there's stories, maybe you don't know them.

  222. But if you know them, you know, some of the struggles of stories

  223. and they've taken ground from Satan to get to this point and

  224. then Their struggles that people have, you know, that exist.

  225. And so too for us, the church is to put our hands up and look at

  226. these people. And just say, God used them play

  227. breasting on them. And this is just a moment for

  228. you guys to participate in this. And so I would encourage you not

  229. to just sit back but to really pray and imagine what God can do

  230. in this family and this is significant for the future of

  231. their kids. This change the course of the

  232. generations. And so Paul says you raise a

  233. child in the way he should go, his partner was, he gets older

  234. ones apart from it, and this is a good moment.

  235. For them to say no as for no house or fall in the Lord.

  236. And so let's get behind that. Let's love on them.

  237. To give them more time. Is dying starts with song off.

  238. Come on. So we sing the song, The

  239. Blessing during our child dedication moments because these

  240. words come right out of a passage in numbers when God was

  241. setting up the temple and how they worshipped and he promised

  242. the priest in the temple. That if you pray, these words

  243. over the people, every time they leave the worship, I will be

  244. with them. And so, that's our prayer today,

  245. as a church is that not only we want, you know, these parents

  246. dedicated. We want our church to be

  247. dedicated to helping these little ones grow up and God help

  248. these families do all that we can.

  249. But then also, Also we want the blessings of God that he

  250. promises to say that if I am going to be having these words

  251. over these people than that blessing will come to their

  252. life. So I'd like to invite you, you

  253. can lift up your hands to pray over them and just take this

  254. moment of really when you're saying these words of this song

  255. Today, pray this as a prayer over these families today so I'd

  256. like to invite you guys to sing. Lord bless you and keep you make

  257. his face shine upon you and be gracious to you.

  258. The Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.

  259. The Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you.

  260. The Lord turn his face toward you.

  261. And I'll men just means that we agree. and I,

  262. Come on. And how exciting?

  263. Well, the Bible says, unless the Lord builds the house, the

  264. laborers, labor in vain. So we're praying, may God is in

  265. this guy's for you and just trusting the Lord.

  266. Let me take you all the steps away in our church behind you.

  267. Amen, love you guys. So give it up one more time for

  268. our families today. Come on.

  269. Cool man, I don't know if it gets much better than that just

  270. to come together and just pray over these awesome, young

  271. families and just see their boldness of faith and just

  272. knowing that story for these awesome kids on stage is

  273. starting now. And I also love the flip side of

  274. that, the challenge that we have to say that we're going to stand

  275. behind them and we are going to push them forward.

  276. Faith and so I don't know, I think someone needs to get

  277. excited for what God's going to do in these families.

  278. Say let's give a big for God today man, awesome.

  279. Guys, I am honored. We at real-life Shore just

  280. honored that you're here today. I want to take a quick moment to

  281. recognize a group of people also here with us today that are

  282. called real life Church online and I would just love.

  283. We could just take a quick second for them to hear you and

  284. welcome this morning. Let's give it up for Real Life,

  285. Church online and welcome them. Love having you guys here with

  286. us. Hey everyone, here at Katie.

  287. So puncture here, we look around we, you find someone.

  289. people in your Section feel. Welcome, make a connection and

  291. that connection. I want to take a moment and

  292. welcome any and everyone who's brand-new Surreal Life church

  295. And we are just honored to have you as our special guest this

  296. week. And I'd love to give you some

  297. action steps to take right now. One of the things you could do

  303. just a chance for you to find out some answers.

  304. You might have about real-life church or some questions.

  305. I should say answers to questions, would be a better way

  306. of saying that about real life church and we just want to just

  307. get to know. You hear your story and find

  308. out. How can we be praying for you

  309. this week? Maybe this isn't your first

  310. Sunday, but maybe you've never taken a moment to visit our new

  311. here Booth. I want to invite you to go ahead

  312. and do that this morning. If you haven't, we would love to

  313. hear your story face-to-face. Put a name to a face and we do

  314. have a small gift for you just as our way of again of saying.

  315. Thank you so much for spending part of your weekend with us at

  316. Real Life Church. Well guys, the reason that we

  317. even exist, the reason that all this gets set up and tore down

  318. every week. The reason that we put on the

  319. event, every Sunday is simple. Souls matter to God.

  320. That's 100% what this is all about.

  321. And we have a mission. Shin that basically sums out of

  322. we exist here at real life to see people far from God,

  323. discover their real life and purpose in Jesus.

  324. And that's what it's all about. That's what makes all of the

  325. work. The effort, the time worth it.

  326. It's not just about an empty number.

  327. It's about the soul that's connected to that number.

  328. The soul that sits in every one of these chairs, God is for you

  329. today. And I just want to take a

  330. moment. Moment and say thanks and give a

  331. shout out to everybody, that's just been inviting out people

  332. over these last several weeks, man.

  333. God is honoring that and souls are being changed.

  334. Lives are being changed right here because of you and your

  335. faithfulness. So let's just keep moving that

  336. mission forward each and every week at Real Life Church.

  337. Well, guys, we've been on this awesome series.

  338. That's awesome. Kick these last several weeks

  339. about relationships, really, just diving into that idea that

  340. relationships are. Much deeper than the snapshot we

  341. post on social media, right? It's so much deeper than that.

  342. A relationship that's built on the foundation of God.

  343. When the Lord is in it, that's the relationship that's going to

  344. last. And so, what I want to do today

  345. is I want to mix things up a little bit.

  346. I want to invite Pastor Sean, and Diane to come up to the

  347. stage for a special Q&A session. And let's just say, we're going

  348. to put the real and real life this morning.

  349. He's that sound good to you. So yeah you guys were challenged

  350. to put in some questions. We're going to dive in.

  351. We're going to put them on the hot seat today and we're going

  352. to find out just some real practical tips from from a

  353. couple who's been in the game for a while, they've got some

  354. wisdom to share with us today. So will you welcome Pastor, Sean

  355. and Diane, as we get into this real-life Q&A.

  356. Come on. Make them feel welcome.

  357. You guys nervous? I'm not nervous at all, man, we

  358. just appreciate your guys as heart for being on the hot seat

  359. today. I could imagine that it could be

  360. a little bit uncomfortable a little bit nerve-racking.

  361. Yeah, way to go, man. Thanks Lane.

  362. I can imagine, you know, spilling the tea as the kids say

  363. about your long relationship could be a little bit

  364. nerve-wracking. Maybe, you know, I know that

  365. some questions came in this week and man, You probably know more

  366. than anybody else when you open up the floor to just general

  367. questions at you never know what you're going to get, right?

  368. So truth, I love it. So I'm excited to dive in but

  369. before we do that just a little bit, if you don't know a little

  370. bit about their story. So Sean and Diane kind of, kind

  371. of the typical Highschool sweethearts - the sweetheart,

  372. they were friends, kind of ran in the same friend group back in

  373. Raytown, not Rea more Raytown. So the other side of the tracks,

  374. keep it real. You want to represent anybody or

  375. Shout out. I'm sorry.

  376. No hahaha. Shout-out retail holler.

  377. Hi, there you go. That's awesome.

  378. They, they've got three little ones at home, just three bundles

  379. of Joy. Just absolute blessings.

  380. And what's really cool before that, they were called early on,

  381. in their marriage to Foster you guys were called to Foster,

  382. some, some young adults and they actually have an adopted 28 year

  383. old granddaughter. So you guys don't look a day

  384. over, 30 daughter. But close, what's that daughter?

  385. What did I say? Jen daughter, great.

  386. Well, she's Grand. She's really she's real swell.

  387. She's a neat gal and that was my grandpa's a gun.

  388. We'll get into that in a minute. Weird goddaughter.

  389. My apologies, but it's really cool and really, and I think you

  390. guys probably have you been here with us any length of time, know

  391. they have a heart for people. They have a heart to not only

  392. launch this church, reach the community, just new churches,

  393. reach new people, right? They had a heart just to settle

  394. here and Ray Moore. And and just bless this

  395. community and what's really cool is beyond that is they have a

  396. heart for marriages and relationships.

  397. And these guys have just counseled so many people, their

  398. fingerprints are on so many. Just general relationship

  399. stories in this room and the next Gathering and Beyond

  400. they've touched. So many people with just their

  401. wisdom, they've lived it. That's what's really cool.

  402. We're going to find out today, you know, they've been in the

  403. trenches so they've got a that What about healthy marriages?

  404. So like I said before we've been building up some questions here

  405. and my first question. Are you guys ready?

  406. I don't know. Let's do it.

  407. Oh I promise I promise we're going to we're going to take it

  408. easy on your gonna get real but it's not going to be crazy.

  409. All right, this first questions to the both of you, all right,

  410. so this is an all-skate for you guys and it says this, I like my

  411. Sean isms. They're all skate to learn from

  412. watching, you, Dad. All right, this was shot at

  413. Diana. Says you guys have been married?

  414. For 15 years, I want you to go all the way back before.

  415. You said I do back when you were dating what were some keys that

  416. you learned or had in place the set your marriage up for that

  417. happily ever after success that made a big difference for

  418. lasting marriage today We remember that time, huh?

  419. Yeah, distant memory. No, I heard yes, this is Sean.

  420. Drew clearly the comic relief of today.

  421. Not me, it's okay but I can say for me I think there's a few

  422. things like one is that we got to be friends first and I know

  423. not everybody has that ability or the timing of the

  424. relationship but that was really important for us.

  425. Once you like add the romance into it, like we were already

  426. friends. We already knew each other, we

  427. already knew how to communicate and some ways we already were

  428. connected. Friends, will talk more about

  429. communication later, but the second one I think is really

  430. key. Is that at that time in our life

  431. when we did, like start dating we were, you know, later in the

  432. college, not in high school, but we were both pursuing God on our

  433. own. We both had felt like we were

  434. called to do something big for God and it wasn't like, oh, let

  435. me wait around to see what Shawn thinks or what Sean's going to

  436. do or, you know, I wasn't building my future with God on

  437. him. I was building my future with

  438. God on God, and whatever God called me to do.

  439. There's actually a really funny story when Sean was going to

  440. propose to me and I didn't know it yet.

  441. I had accepted a job in Chicago. We were long distance for a long

  442. time and I was like cool piece. You know where I'll be like if

  443. you need to catch up or whatever, but I was just like

  444. carrying on with what God was calling me to do until that

  445. time, when like our lives merged together.

  446. So yeah, it's just kind of funny and the Lord had different

  447. plans. Yeah.

  448. And then ultimately, what brought us together is realizing

  449. that will to be on Mission together?

  450. Like I could look at Sean and his passion for God and look to

  451. say, like I know that God can do more through us together than he

  452. can do with a. And so that underlying Unity

  453. made it so that we could come together and serve God so way

  454. back when dating? Yeah, talking about Keys things

  455. that we learned. And I would say, first of all,

  456. we weren't perfect, we don't be inherently Keys.

  457. Yeah, we learned, right? So some things, we learned some

  458. things, we've kind of had going for us.

  459. One things that worked out. We dated long distance for man,

  460. three and a half years. It's pretty much yeah, longer

  461. three and a half years and so it kept snotlout trouble, come on

  462. somebody, that's, that's the blessing of being 60 miles away,

  463. right? And this back, when you had a

  464. cell phone, we had to be in the right spot in the dorm, you

  465. know, to even getting signal as a press against the back door

  466. for four years, you know. But the reality is, there's four

  467. things are really a blessing for us.

  468. One is you have to know each other outside of physically,

  469. which I think a lot of relationships kind of gets

  470. stale. Like they just get stuck right

  471. there. They start doing stuff outside

  472. of where Louis. It's like fire, you know, it's

  473. like it's awesome when it's in its right place.

  474. But super destructive when it's not.

  475. And what happens? You just you get to know

  476. somebody's body but you don't get to know anything really else

  477. and so you don't really get to go deeper spiritually or

  478. character, or their call and passion.

  479. So we kind of had the blessing. He had to spend a lot of time.

  480. Dino is jokes around. She goes, if we were closer and

  481. you know a new you little more at home, I probably would never

  482. married you haha. So that was those big I think

  483. for us like seeing her Pursuit Of God, I mean I think you want

  484. to marry somebody That's passionate about God, they're

  485. pursuing God on their own and in just as much, if not more than

  486. you, you're just chasing that. And for me like I realized, I

  487. ain't like she was real serious about following God.

  488. A lot of people just talk about it and they show up on Sundays

  489. and stuff, but they're really not fighting for it, you know,

  490. and I noticed in college, she went off and she didn't like a

  491. Nursing degree and three years taking extra classes.

  492. And it was pretty rigorous kind of study and she'd work as a CNA

  493. overnights and is working out. Only hours a week or more and so

  494. overnight should work in the Gulf of Saturday or Sunday more

  495. like 6 a.m. it's you drive the church and she sleep in the

  496. parking lot so that she could get up and serve kids in a lot

  497. of program and a elementary-aged program and then go to church

  498. and do it every single Sunday for years.

  499. And so for me like that was like, ding ding, ding, right?

  500. Like she wants something from God.

  501. She wants to pursue God. And so that was really big for

  502. me. I just kind of ring the bell,

  503. right? And I think to is just, yeah,

  504. that's the question. Am I marrying somebody because

  505. it helps me pursue the things of God, more Ores or what is it,

  506. right? Because ultimately ridges built

  507. around, like, we're Partners together for things of Christ

  508. and so for me that was the foundation, a lot of people

  509. didn't have that or think that direction but for us, that was

  510. really the key to laid out. So a lot of people like asked,

  511. if he should you live together for he married, you know, save

  512. some money, you know, you know, you can fit, you know, test

  513. drive the car, right? You hear that all the time,

  514. right? And I just feel like that's just

  515. the Direction that God would have for you.

  516. I think that's where you want to go at all.

  517. Thank you and honor God. And then, as God brings you

  518. together, and then he wants to get married, and then you can

  519. learn all you want about Sonny's Body.

  520. Come on somebody. Amen.

  521. There's ones not wrong one person.

  522. There's one guy excited today. That's awesome.

  523. There's so many good takeaways from that.

  524. And I neglected to mention earlier, you know, like this

  525. this whole series and especially today.

  526. I mean, if you're not married, if you're not in a relationship

  527. man, take some notes. Today, there is so much.

  528. Each gold and everything you guys said and one of the

  529. takeaways that I got from that that I really enjoyed is like,

  530. so many people I think think of relationships is 50/50, but you

  531. guys really lined it up it's really a hundred, a hundred, you

  532. know, I love how you really do been to like, you know, this is

  533. my faith and I'm going this way. I'm pursuing God whether he does

  534. or not. I think it's also cool.

  535. How God honored that and brought you both together so huge,

  536. takeaway me and I hope you guys are taking some notes today.

  537. That's that's epic. All right.

  538. Well, you ready for another all skate?

  539. Another. Both of you before we divvy out

  540. a little bit, I'm ready. All right, let's do it.

  541. Our this for both of you. The next question came in goes

  542. it starts off being married is often challenging especially

  543. when you were a young married couple and the honeymoon phase

  544. wears off. What was your maybe doesn't what

  545. was your biggest challenge in your early years of marriage and

  546. how did you work through it? She's looking at me.

  547. I'll do it. I'll do it.

  548. I'll do it. I'll do it.

  549. Yeah. So man there's a lot of

  550. challenges, right? I mean honeymoon phase.

  551. I was thinking like we never left home in Phase.

  552. Look at her face. Yeah.

  553. That was yeah. You're right.

  554. Yeah. That was over so that that

  555. ended. No I think honestly like you

  556. know we have the typical like you know, we fight we you know

  557. she can't keep her hands off me. So that's the kind of fighter

  558. off, you know and Y'all know making stuff up now.

  559. Right? No, but I do think at the end of

  560. the day, I feel like Back Being Young married.

  561. Like once you got a honeymoon phase, you start to realize like

  562. not my problem was myself, that was the problem.

  563. Like I was, I don't know. It was like bad stuff, but it

  564. wasn't great stuff like it Plateau.

  565. Like the relationship plateaus on me, right?

  566. And maybe she says, save ourself.

  567. But like I did, you get to certain depth in like, you're

  568. okay with that. Like, you didn't know any

  569. different maybe. And so you start realizing as

  570. problems. Even as pressure comes right.

  571. As we have foster kids and things happen, like, wow, I've

  572. got, I've got to be, there's got to be, there's got to be more of

  573. Jesus in me. Like, I got to die to myself a

  574. little more like and so patients and all these things character

  575. inside myself. And I started realizing as

  576. problems would happened that Ultima I'm not being the best

  577. solution to the problems, right? And so, I think there's a lot to

  578. say about that direction of, really just dined yourself and

  579. just asking, God to work through you and learning to listen.

  580. Listen, I think was really big. I don't know if that's a

  581. spiritual gift that most people are gifted with, you know.

  582. So I think marriage you start realizing like, hey, I've got a

  583. Shepherd her soul and we're both very hard workers were both very

  584. independent and I think the word maybe comes to mind is that for

  585. most guys and people in general is just stubborn, right?

  586. Like I realized like being if I'm going to go where God calls

  587. you go, I've got to be open to things of God, more and more

  588. patient, more loving, and I was thinking about like, Peter

  589. Wright and he goes up to this really is what Jesus will start

  590. back on that and Jesus says, hey, I'm going to die.

  591. I'll be crucified and killed and raised again and Peter's like,

  592. no you're not. And Jesus tells Peter like get

  593. thee behind me Satan, right. And Peter's just kind of

  594. stubborn and aloof and doesn't know what's going on and Jesus

  595. does some very special it's just that later that week he takes up

  596. the Inner Circle disciples, you know, Peter James John up to the

  597. Mount Transfiguration and the voice of the father.

  598. Like the glory of God has shown right?

  599. Like there's smoke and they just crazy and there's they're

  600. hearing the voices. He Elijah the see, Moses up on

  601. this mountain. Mountain and they're just

  602. afraid, and they're wondering what's going on?

  603. Of course. God's voice is like, this, is my

  604. son whom I love and they don't quite get what's going on in.

  605. Jesus, tells them as they make their way down the mound.

  606. He says, hey, I'm going to raised again the third day, the

  607. Bible says you guys are like, whoa, so that's like the early

  608. years of marriage. Like what?

  609. Right. And then Jesus is kind of front

  610. of them and they're talking about something that's so

  611. interesting. Like, who's gonna be the

  612. greatest in heaven? That's the question of talking

  613. about. So it's all the glory god in

  614. their ask themselves. Well, who's going there because

  615. I saw Moses as all Isaiah. So I wonder if I'm to be up

  616. there next year, you know? Like I'm over.

  617. I'll be in the center of this equation.

  618. I want to be by all about me, and Jesus didn't overhear like

  619. physically, but he heard it and he goes to him and he says we're

  620. just talking about and they're awfully quiet, right?

  621. And he looked at me said hey if you want to be first and he'd be

  622. last and if you know me the grace and the kingdom would be

  623. the greatest survey. So I think early on that, that's

  624. why I Learned was. You need to serve 100%. 150%.

  625. Doesn't matter what some Bells does you doing?

  626. God's calling you doing Serving? And Ingrosso.

  627. Amen, I was it. That's why I got so, yeah.

  628. I think bouncing off of that same idea.

  629. It is early in your marriage. It's a period of dying to

  630. yourself, you know, following what Jesus calls us to do and

  631. saying, like, well, this is how I did it, and this is how I grew

  632. up, and this is what I think. And so just there's times of,

  633. like, teasing those things out of like, well, what are we going

  634. to do in those things? And it's really easy at the

  635. beginning, like full, I'm an only child.

  636. So I never had a roommate till I got married, I guess, College a

  637. little bit, but, you know, it's just like, how do you live and

  638. share space? And all those practical things,

  639. or you have to die to yourself a little bit to come to that full

  640. acceptance of somebody else's ways, and things like that.

  641. It hurts learning, you know, which, which of these am I going

  642. to let go and which ones do I need to talk about?

  643. But same as Sean. I think early in our marriage, I

  644. really had to take a deep dive into me and how the problems

  645. that I was causing can be detrimental to our marriage.

  646. So I've shared with lots of Life groups that I've LED.

  647. I had Dad pretty deep-seated struggle with insecurities,

  648. like, throughout my like college.

  649. And, you know, early marriage years that was really at a point

  650. that it was debilitating to, some of the relationships that I

  651. was in, it was preventing me into entering, into new, you

  652. know, deeper relationships with other people in my life.

  653. Preventing me from really fully trusting that God had brought us

  654. together on purpose and that my job was to better me.

  655. And to not say that, you know, I needed Sean to do certain things

  656. to fill that need inside of me and putting Extra pressure on

  657. him to say like well if he can measure up to this and if he can

  658. meet this need inside of me, I really had to die to myself and

  659. say, no. Only, God can meet that need in

  660. me, and if I'm looking for it in him, that's not fair.

  661. He's never going to meet, you know, meet that standard of

  662. Jesus in my life. And so it was really a

  663. transformational time of that in the insecurities from within me,

  664. birthed out of me trying to do it on myself, trying to reach a

  665. certain Perfection standard, trying to achieve all these

  666. things. And then when it wasn't going

  667. well, Saying while Shawn needs to you know feed into me and

  668. helped me and it was this oh I'm not good enough, I'm not good

  669. enough but the start of that sense is always I and me and

  670. realizing that that false humility and that false way of

  671. looking at life could be a actual absolute killer to our

  672. relationship. And so God uses those first

  673. couple of years to really transform me to be able to give

  674. 100% of myself. And not be, you know, relying on

  675. me or Shawn to make our relationship work.

  676. But on for the kids, Yeah, anything that's just again,

  677. gold. Well, Diane will stick with you.

  678. This is a straight to you. All right, it says, as a wife

  679. and leader for Christ, where do you believe most ladies struggle

  680. and their relationships? / marriages, what lessons are

  681. Keys. Would you shares to make share

  682. to make marriages healthy? Yeah, I think the biggest

  683. struggle and maybe not just for ladies, but what I see when I

  684. get to talk to women about, you know, relationships is

  685. communication. I think so much of the struggles

  686. that I have in marriage boil down to communication.

  687. And I've identified like two main ways that I've seen this

  688. play out in one. This is the one I'm guilty of is

  689. under communicating, not talking shutting down having some, maybe

  690. some unspoken expectations that I'm not willing to do or like

  691. the silent test. You know.

  692. Like, let me see if he really paid attention to what I said

  693. and not. You know, any kind or I have met

  694. with some other women in groups, over the years and had friends

  695. who it's the opposite where there is overbearing

  696. communication. It's over, you know, nagging

  697. complaining, I'm always communicating about all the

  698. things you're not doing and what I learned in there is a verse,

  699. I'll show you the second that just slap me in the face,

  700. really, well one time, but that neither way is healthy.

  701. And the versus this, I wrote down.

  702. So I would but it's a fusions 429, which if you grew up in

  703. Churchill, so that's the first not to cuss, that's not true.

  704. I mean that's in there, but that's not the big part.

  705. So it says, don't use foul or abusive language, but let

  706. everything you say be good and helpful so that your words will

  707. be an encouragement to those who hear them.

  708. And I think anybody in a marriage relationship, cannot

  709. have to go back too far to. Think about once the time, I

  710. said something that wasn't good and helpful you mean today like

  711. this morning. Like when and so man filtering,

  712. everything that I say and do through that lens of good and

  713. helpful photos for Who is like me, who doesn't want to speak up

  714. who won't make my needs? Or, you know, things like that

  715. known. Then I have to say the things

  716. that are good and helpful to keep our relationship together.

  717. Maybe if I fall on the other side of that line, like I don't

  718. have to say everything that I think everything, I think is not

  719. good and helpful to Sean in a marriage and so it's like

  720. finding that balance of like I want to my words and my

  721. communications job is to be an encouragement to the hearer is

  722. what that verse says. So what can I say that is going

  723. to Courage him, that sometimes, that's saying hard things.

  724. Hey, the way you said this or did this, that didn't feel good

  725. like, and that's okay. And that is healthy and should

  726. happen. But to say it in that way, that

  727. it's helpful in an encouragement to him, to be able to grow and

  728. change. That's really it.

  729. So their keys on that. Is that filter?

  730. Good and helpful. You can tattoo that on your arm

  731. or whatever you want to do later after the Gathering.

  732. Not letting the sun go down on your anger and another verse I

  733. thought of and so we hear this verse that I didn't write down

  734. the reference. I think it's Proverbs 25:11.

    Proverbs 25:11

  735. It says that like a word. Fitly placed is like apples of

  736. gold. I loved I looked it up in the

  737. NLT and it said timely advice is like apples of gold.

  738. So like the car ride home after Sunday morning isn't the time to

  739. be like you know you kind of messed up that whole part of

  740. that message. That's not it for our marriage.

  741. The car ride home on Sundays. Like babe, that was a killer

  742. message, you nailed it, it was awesome.

  743. People were like coming to Jesus left and right.

  744. Like that's that moment if there's something that real girl

  745. needs to be addressed, on Monday, we can talk about that

  746. then. My job is to be a good and

  747. helpful encouragement to him. So those are my tips bits of

  748. keys to help well, as time is wrapping down.

  749. I do want to give you the floor with the same question from the

  750. guy's perspective. So in the interest of time, Sean

  751. as a husband, and leader for cries.

  752. Where do you believe most men struggle?

  753. And what keys do you have? Yeah, so I saw a figure.

  754. I mean, the opposite question of Diane apples of gold in the

  755. frames of silver. So yeah, I think for For men,

  756. it's out. I don't want to say EQ, but

  757. which stands for yeah, I'm getting there too.

  758. Good, bye baby. Good jobs, you, I love you the

  759. best, you the man teachers. Tom be helpful.

  760. No, like just expressing your emotions and like a helpful way

  761. and then recognizing we're somebody else's at emotionally

  762. or just recognizing where they're at.

  763. At all. One of the great things you do

  764. as a leader As You observe, right?

  765. And for a husband for a spouse, you know, her for a parent you

  766. Of your kids, right? You watch any good coaches

  767. watching their team? And part of it is just how to

  768. express. What's on your heart, or what?

  769. God's saying to you, or like your own failure in a helpful

  770. way. Most guys are like that can of

  771. soda and they just hold everything in and then just

  772. like, boom the explodes. And it's very difficult for guys

  773. to express themselves. And so, I think for me, I think

  774. the first thing is to have something inside of you that is

  775. given by God, that's beyond what your ability is right now.

  776. I guess we Supernatural. And I don't want to say it's

  777. like the wound of the father, right?

  778. It's just something you were never shown or you didn't see or

  779. didn't happen to you. Their seeds are planted, That

  780. Grew bad things. The receives that we're never

  781. planted that aren't there and we can sit there and be upset or

  782. blame or make excuses or we can say, okay?

  783. And replace my understanding of how I do Life by my heavenly

  784. father and not just by my Earthly father and that that

  785. shoots that's foundational like you're going to give something

  786. to somebody. You have to have it first and

  787. You're not hard work as a man on the inside.

  788. Say. I'm loved it.

  789. So I can love. That's big most guys.

  790. They will never say, they'll feel they feel abandoned.

  791. They feel her. Feel let down to do, major up.

  792. I'm not good enough. They're fighting to prove

  793. themselves and all you do is look up.

  794. So heavenly father and say, okay, yes, Jesus, yes, God,

  795. you've done it all for me and now I am free.

  796. I am, I'm confident. I'm bold.

  797. I'm or God calls it. Be, I can give that away to my

  798. spouse but if you don't have that, you can't give it and it

  799. will become Um, destructive. So I see that quite often,

  800. right? I can forgive because Christ

  801. forgave me, I still Choose, You may make mistakes because Christ

  802. chose me and that is foundational.

  803. And that just kind of like coming to end of yourself is

  804. like the beginning of coming to God, right?

  805. In your relationship is going to show all those cracks and you

  806. may have thought you had together.

  807. You may not recognize that was a problem, right?

  808. That, that wound is been there and so that's one of it and I

  809. think another thing that guys will start with husband's is

  810. being a spiritual leader in the home.

  811. See a lot of mom. And women really just bringing

  812. their families to church, you know, lead the way spiritually,

  813. and I'm like God bless the women right?

  814. Come on, right? But as men like we're called to

  815. be that for our family were called to be the spiritual

  816. leader so we got to get up. And hey, come on guys.

  817. Let's follow Christ and be a model of prayer, right?

  818. Don't expect anybody else to be any better or healthier than you

  819. are. As a man.

  820. And so you just say hey I'm on a field full prayer before prayer

  821. I want to be family word of God. I'm in the word of God.

  822. I want family to forgive, I forgive my family do this, I do

  823. that. And so you change your culture

  824. and you change your family's culture and it's really fun to

  825. watch as God gets ahold of men and in changes their hearts how

  826. the whole family starts to change because what guys doing

  827. them. So, do you think you guys for

  828. your wisdom on those really cool to hear both your perspectives?

  829. Well, this is the last question and this is again back to the

  830. all skate. This is for both of you, the

  831. very last one, you guys are about 15 years into marriage,

  832. right? So, I love all this is worded.

  833. It says, if you are to make it another 50s, ha ha.

  834. Let's change that to when people when you make it another, 15

  835. years Ambien, how do you plan to keep your relationship fresh?

  836. I mean, where do you go from here?

  837. We've kind of talked about how you've done it in the past but

  838. like, where does this next chapter go?

  839. How do you keep a candle burning and not just coexist float or

  840. grow apart? I can say, the first thing would

  841. be to keep it real. So, real intimacy, real

  842. relationships come. I'm out of vulnerability and so

  843. being able to you know, bear myself and my dreams and my

  844. desires and all those things to Sean is going to help us to move

  845. forward as we continue to grow in each other.

  846. The second one is to keep laughing.

  847. I think are there was something besides God our relationship to

  848. be founded on. I'd probably be humor and there

  849. is a just a lot of moments where you get to have, like a full-on

  850. belly laugh, and that is something that really what it

  851. teaches you is not to take yourself, too, seriously to have

  852. a short memory Three of your failures to be able to laugh

  853. when things don't go the way you thought they were going to.

  854. And just say, you know what, well, that tomorrow is another

  855. day. We get to move forward from

  856. that. Yeah, thing that just didn't go

  857. the way it was, but that being, you know, quick to be a solution

  858. quick to offer help laughing through that time and then keep

  859. dreaming, I think it's something that's really big.

  860. If you're talking about the freshness of your relationship,

  861. like I think in God's word, it always says that God is.

  862. He's doing a new thing, he's making a new song.

  863. He's and I think inside of our relationships, we get to model

  864. God in that way. Way and God will give us new

  865. things or that you know that we hadn't thought of or maybe he's

  866. speaking something to him that we can champion and celebrate

  867. together. And so when you let each other

  868. enter into your dreams in that way, and those god-given dreams

  869. and things, he's called you to like something really cool

  870. happens that he God is in it. Don't get a dream separately

  871. from Sean. Now, we're together, we're one

  872. flesh. And so, letting opening that up

  873. to him and letting him being able to open that up to me, is

  874. just so key to keeping him fresh, keeping you keep

  875. laughing, keep laughing. Yeah, Dad, I love to travel.

  876. I'm not much of a traveler but she drags you along, you know, a

  877. couple months ago. She's like, hey, when we get to

  878. Kenya I'm like, what when we going to Kenny?

  879. Again, you know, just it's on our hearts on my heart.

  880. You know? I think I like to question their

  881. like if at some level because you're not really guaranteed 15

  882. years, you know? And by God's grace, like I see a

  883. lot of guys just get become about themselves, they just make

  884. it about them. So selfish, just think I'm over

  885. it and they walk away and somebody's not willing to do

  886. this. And I see a lot of ministry

  887. couples. I think we saw a stat there.

  888. They said there's like 40 percent of marriages like her

  889. fault part in the ministry. I mean, just, there's just so

  890. many traps, you know, there's so many quicksands for everybody.

  891. And so, I like the Riff and then it had a, I always try to keep

  892. in perspective that my time is a gift, right?

  893. And so, like, I might not be here tomorrow, you know, I mean,

  894. so, Even if it ends like okay death, do us part right it.

  895. So, I'm looking, like, kids, you Undead, give it all today, you

  896. know, guess if I'm not there because I'm not guaranteed of

  897. anything. It's so I just kind of try to

  898. keep that like number your days perspective especially in your

  899. marriage like not going to bed upset right now the sun go down

  900. on your wrath and not to if you don't say something then you

  901. chose to forgive it. The my opinion, if you're going

  902. to go to bed on, be better than you have to create, you have to

  903. forgive and move on. That's, that's a choice, you

  904. make. And so just like, Starting to

  905. clean slate every day. I think really helps.

  906. You know what's it matter to you?

  907. Is it worth it? I also think about, like, are

  908. you going to lose all this, you know?

  909. So like if I'm gonna do something dumb or start pursuing

  910. a direction, or look at something, or just not care.

  911. Did you, did you weigh that out in your mind before you started

  912. that? So I just start, moving away

  913. from things that are destructive to my life.

  914. So I'm not going to find habits or hobbies that take me away

  915. from her all the time. So I don't have a guys night

  916. like, I love you all, you know. Just just on me.

  917. So I might I'm super valuables on this bill and family night,

  918. you know. So we do family move and I and

  919. we do all the stuff and I just can't spoil the kids to you know

  920. and but also think the day like if you're going to make it the

  921. 15 years and we're God's going to call you to go the question

  922. it wasn't for me. Like how do you keep it fresh?

  923. I think the question would be, how do you keep it fruitful?

  924. You know like fresh kind of goes away, you know, you get enough,

  925. you know, laps around the track you know you don't have all the

  926. feelings all the time. You know, all these things but

  927. it isn't fruitful, right? And we like fruitful come.

  928. All. Somebody be fruitful and

  929. multiply right. You won't have both.

  930. Right? Depends.

  931. But I think fruitful for like, is a proof for kids.

  932. It, are we together producing the things of God?

  933. I'll are we together? Make an impact?

  934. Our community. We make an impact in our family

  935. are we are we together on Mission and we're producing

  936. things that grow its a four dozen you plant it and grows on

  937. its own. So are we like Sending vessel.

  938. So the day like I'm less concerned about like a fad or a

  939. feeling, as you know, those are going to come and go and he

  940. loved all the feelings, right? And you do things for that.

  941. And I talked about some stuff you can spice it up, right?

  942. But the daily, something that sustains its fruit and they were

  943. major buyer fruit. You know, we're measuring stuff

  944. that survives the fire being burned and what the works of God

  945. were so the day. Like that's that's we're

  946. fighting for, you know, to be fruit berries for the cause of

  947. Christ. And so I think just sitting on

  948. that is way. Has way more longevity.

  949. They were God wants us to be than just chasing the feeling.

  950. So. Well, as we wrap up here, I just

  951. want to say to Sean and Diane and I think you guys would Echo

  952. be in this. Just thank you guys for your

  953. leadership and just leading this church.

  954. Well, I know we appreciate you guys being an open book.

  955. I can't imagine, you know like just kind of, you know, the

  956. butterflies but I just get to ask the questions.

  957. I just gives you the messenger, you know, but you guys are so

  958. glad you didn't pick any crazy questions.

  959. Drew. I do not like they're also

  960. people It's either swipe a couple of them were either fight

  961. against myself to do that Shawn, but I do keep it, you know, a

  962. little mature. Thanks for down yourself,

  963. through this one time. No, but no seriously you guys,

  964. you guys leave this church. Well, and I just love knowing

  965. that when or if things get hard like, you know, my own

  966. relationship. I've got you guys on speed dial.

  967. You guys model that you guys model for us how to communicate

  968. with our spouses you guys model for us.

  969. Just seeking him first, and knowing that that's the anchor

  970. that in the foundation that any relationship will be built upon.

  971. So I know, I appreciate it. I know I'm echoing.

  972. What? They're thinking right now as

  973. well. And just again, just we

  974. appreciate everything. You guys have done this morning.

  975. So can we give it up for Sean and Diane for Jake and Jesus

  976. being real with us man. Thank you guys.

  977. I tell you, man. One of the Highlights today,

  978. Sean talked about early, you know, during the dedication, you

  979. know, just really at the heart of every answer.

  980. Whether it was said or not, is all of this works because the

  981. Lord was in it, right? And just this idea that as for

  982. me and my house, we will serve the Lord and we got to see these

  983. families. Make that decision today with

  984. their kids up here, just declaring putting that I love

  985. this imagery. So I'm going to I've been saying

  986. it all morning, I keep saying it putting that stake in the

  987. ground. Right.

  988. Even without putting at stake in the ground for your family.

  989. And just saying, you know, we might have been doing other

  990. things before today, but as of this moment, lead my house.

  991. We're going to serve the Lord, my marriage, our marriage.

  992. We're going to serve the Lord together.

  993. We're going to be on Mission together and I just, man, I know

  994. there's so many stories in this room and there's so many seasons

  995. that people are going through. And we've spent a lot of time.

  996. On marriages and all that good stuff.

  997. But me and I'm telling you, there's something for you,

  998. whatever season you're in, you might be young and never married

  999. and that's way off in the future to smartest thing, you'll do,

1000. you'll never regret taking notes.

1001. Now, you'll never regret coming up with a game plan.

1002. Now you'll never regret looking back that you decided to get

1003. your relationship rock-solid with the god that loves you.

1004. Heaven and be confident in yourself before you're ready to

1005. pour out into someone else. You'll never regret that and I

1006. hope you hear that today. And there's there's other people

1007. to there's people that they're walking through a season of

1008. singleness and he didn't want to do you know what I mean?

  1009. I'm sorry, Emma. I'm saying I don't mean to

1010. Bubble up here, but they're walking through a season that

1011. they never thought they'd be in, it's not fair, right?

1012. It just, it feels that way. And God, I hope that you're

1013. just, you're taking notes and you're just, you know, taking a

1014. season to heal and just getting ready for what God has next kind

1015. of say to you. God's not done with that story,

1016. yet, it's not done. God's got something for you.

1017. You're not broken, you're not. What's in the past is in the

1018. past. Me and God has got something for

1019. you today. And I just want you to know that

1020. just like we lifted up these families.

1021. We lift you up today. We're behind, you were for you.

  1022. God's got something for you. I don't, I can't tell you how

1023. long, the season last sir or anything like that, but you

1024. don't have to be a perfect picture as Godly marriage to be

1025. loved by God. I hope you leave here.

1026. Knowing Man, I just I want to just take a moment and I want

1027. every I and every eye to close every head bowed and we're just

1028. going to go before God today and just I just want to lift you

1029. guys up everyone in this room. I just want to say, father God,

1030. thank you for this morning and thank you for again just for

1031. Shawna Diane just opening up and God just how much you've bless

1032. their marriage and that you've just empowered them to be an

1033. open book. You you've put relationships,

1034. you've put people's hearts, you put people's Souls on their

1035. hearts and he brought them together.

1036. God and it and all those years ago that that decision to launch

1037. a new church to take that step of faith has led to this moment.

1038. We're so many Souls, mine included, Holly's included, we

1039. just you led us here. And God hear you're a fighting

1040. Us in the fire. You're growing Us in this

1041. season, God and just just can't wait to see what happens next.

1042. Is we just continue to reach his community, but we also know

1043. that, as we're reaching out, we have to reach and God, just

1044. thank you for the challenge today for the wisdom and just

1045. help us not to just say. Oh man, that was cute.

1046. That was cool to hear their story and all that stuff, help

1047. us to find. The nuggets of wisdom in there

1048. and help us to do something about it.

1049. God, that's the hardest step. It's so easy to nod and just be

1050. like, yeah, man, that's a good word, Sean yeah, man died.

1051. And that was, that was so so smart, and it's so hard to do

1052. it. Got so I pray, you'll give us

1053. the courage today that you'll give us the boldness to do that.

1054. God, there's there's relationships in this room,

1055. there's relationships online. That are rocky that things

1056. haven't communication. Has it been strong?

1057. We talked about that stubbornness that eats us up as

1058. guys we don't show our emotions, we don't communicate.

1059. And we've been, there's people have been paddling God, I pray,

1060. you will soften Hearts today. I pray that you will just be

1061. able to let us look at our spouse.

1062. Look at our partner and open up in a way that we haven't before

1063. or that we have it in a really long time.

1064. God, I lift up anyone in this room for any reason that's

1065. walking through a season of singleness.

1066. Because of their youth because of reasons beyond their control,

1067. God poor it to them. Let them feel your presence this

1068. morning in this week not alone there loved by you strengthen

1069. them. Refine them in this season we

1070. just pray whatever their next step in the journey is God, but

1071. they'll be so in tune with you. it doesn't matter because

1072. they're who they are their fullness, their Oneness is found

1073. God, we just, we pray for broken hearts this morning and we pray

1074. for broken families and we just we pray for miracles.

1075. We pray for change. Really at the end of it.

1076. God, we pray that your will be done.

1077. And we pray that we'll have the strength to just remember that

1078. everything that's happened. It's because you got you were

1079. in. So if you're here, keeping your

1080. eyes closed, your head bowed. If if you're ready to put that

1081. stake in the ground today and say I'm ready to have that

1082. conversation, I'm ready to open up the lines of communication

1083. things have been tough but I'm ready to get back on the right

1084. track. I'm ready to get myself right

1085. with God as I prepare. My heart for this.

1086. Next relationship is next. It is, I strengthen my marriage

1087. as I commit to, to walking and leading with my walking with and

1088. leading my family in the season. God, I just pray that everyone

1089. in this room, who wants to do that, but you'll just raise your

1090. hand and just boldly declare, we're not looking at you.

1091. No one's going to see but God, We're proud of you.

1092. God, I just pray over these families who are these people

1093. and that you will just be with that.

1094. And the next thing I want to get to you though is maybe before

1095. you do any of this stuff, we've been talking about.

1096. Maybe you don't have that relationship with Jesus yet.

1097. Maybe you've heard the story, you have some kind of concept of

1098. who he is and and what he's done, but you're not there yet.

1099. Kind of say that like the words of that song he is for you

1100. today. He loves you and he wants a

1101. relationship with you. He sent his son, Jesus to die on

1102. the cross and to rise again, he conquered death.

1103. So we don't have to so we can be with him forever and and if it's

1104. time for you, before any of this other stuff, just to put that

1105. stake. The ground and say, you know,

1106. I'm not leaving this room the way that I came in.

1107. I'm not leaving this room apart from you, any longer God, if

1108. you're ready to do that, I just want you to raise your hand and

1109. just let him know that you're ready to do that today.

1110. Get every eyes closed. Every heads bowed.

1111. I want you to pray a prayer with me, if that's you now online or

1112. here the room, and it's not the prayer that saves you.

1113. It's just, it's just that next Step 4, but I want you to pray

1114. with me and just say, dear Jesus.

1115. I'm sorry. Sorry, it took me so long to get

1116. here. Sorry for my sin, forgive me of

1117. my sin, I Repent of everything that I've done.

1118. That's led up to now. God and I leave that in the past

1119. and I knowingly walk towards you and into your Open Arms.

1120. I know you love me. God.

1121. I know you sent your son Jesus. I know he died for me.

1122. He rose again. And I know that I live with him.

1123. I give my life to you. I'm married.

1124. I get my marriage to you if I have kids, I give my kids to

1125. you, my family just old me's done.

1126. It hasn't gotten me very far. I'm ready to put it all in with

1127. you, God and I'm ready to leave here changed.

1128. I love you, God and I just thank you for your forgiveness in

1129. Jesus name. Alright guys, well, let's give

1130. it a big for anybody who made that decision today.

1131. Let's welcome him into the fold. Awesome.

1132. Minute, the statue today in today's the day, you chose God

1133. first because he's pursuing, you can we delay?

1134. You know that we're all in for you is the reason we show up

1135. here every week because we're looking for people that are

1136. making decisions because we know God's pursuing people.

1137. So, if that's you today, I've got a couple great next steps.

1138. First one is let us know about your decision by texting RL.

1143. about you. God cares about you.

1145. the worst, The center, there's a red bag, grab one of those

  1146. inside. There's a Bible, what a great

1147. way. What a great Next Step.

1148. Just to get started off on the right foot.

1149. We want you to have that, there's other great resource

1150. resources in there, so grab those on your way out.

1151. Yeah, we were so excited for you.

1152. I love how Pastor is Sean and Diane talked about choosing

1153. today to serve the Lord, putting God first.

1154. Well, that's in your marriage, your kids, your relationships

1155. marriages, just anything and everything.

1156. So for you guys, I've got a couple great next steps for you

1157. as well. Maybe guys, put something on

1158. your heart today. Maybe you've been looking for

1159. And maybe realize the one and you want to know a little more

1160. about it. So I want you to know there's a

1169. up, you won't be alone. It would be a great time.

1170. Come hang out with this. Number two is this, if you've

1171. committed your life, Life to Christ.

1172. Since the last time we did baptism, we were going to have a

1173. very special Easter Sunday on April.

1174. The 9th. We would love for you to be a

1175. part of it. Baptism is the next step.

1176. If you give me your your life to Christ, it is simply just

1177. telling the world to that weird Edison were alive to God and we

1178. want everybody to know it. In fact, it's really, it's one
