  77. Come play to this place and fill the atmosphere.

  78. Your glory card is what our hearts alone to be.

  79. All my come by your praises Lord.

  80. Amen. Lord Long.

  81. For your presence in this place got in the name.

  82. In your name. I want to take this moment to

  83. introduce you to a new song, and it is called More Than Able.

  84. And it comes right out of the Scripture in Ephesians 3 where

  85. it says when we lean in and we plant our roots down deep in

  86. Jesus, that he can do exceedingly, abundantly, more

  87. than we can ask or think. And I think as we're leaning

  88. into this season of difference maker for our church, there's

  89. not more than we could ask because God, he can do above

  90. anything we can think. So let's lean in.

  91. Let's worship Him. So when did I start to forget

  92. all of the great things you did? When did I throw away faith for

  93. the impossible? And how did I start to believe

  94. that you weren't sufficient for me?

  95. Why do I talk myself out of seeing miracles 'cause?

  96. You are more than able 'cause you are more.

  97. Than able. You are more than anymore.

  98. You are more than able and do am I to deny what the Lord can do?

  99. It's easy for you and now I see all that I have.

  100. Oh I've got my confidence back beside put my trust in the one

  101. who still does miracles. You do miracles.

  102. You are more than able. You are more than able.

  103. You are. You are more than able.

  104. Because you are more than able. Who am I to deny what the Lord

  105. can do? Can you imagine with all of the

  106. faith in the room, what the Lord can do, what the Lord can do,

  107. and it's going to happen. Just let the waymaker through.

  108. He's going to move. He's going to move.

  109. Can you imagine with all of the faith in the room, what the Lord

  110. can do, what the Lord can do? It's going to happen.

  111. Just let the waymaker through. He's going to move.

  112. He's going to move. Can you imagine with all of the

  113. faith in the room, what the Lord can do, what the Lord can do?

  114. It's going to happen. Just let the waymaker move.

  115. He's going to move. He's going to move because

  116. anything is possible and anything is possible.

  117. Anything is possible. We remind to deny what the Lord

  118. can do. If anything is possible,

  119. anything is possible, anything is possible to deny what the

  120. Lord can do. Who am I to deny what the Lord

  121. can do? Who am I to deny what the Lord

  122. can do? You are more than anymore.

  123. You are more than able. You are more than able you.

  124. Are more than able. Who am I to deny what the Lord

  125. can do? Who am I, I to deny what the

  126. Lord can do? Who am I to deny what the Lord

  127. can do? The God of the impossible, man,

  128. the God that shows up week in and week out, no matter what

  129. state or what season you're in, man, God is always here.

  130. God is always the God of the possible man.

  131. Let's give I forgot one more time, man.

  132. Love to hear you guys worship. I want you guys to know there

  133. are a ton of new people here today, man.

  134. Thank you guys for choosing to gather with us online in person.

  135. Can we give those guys some love?

  136. Just give them a round of applause, man.

  137. If you guys know this or not, winter's coming.

  138. Did you guys like that for a little little cool?

  139. I'm man I'm not ready for. I told Pastor Sean we're not

  140. ready for yet, but it's on the way.

  141. So hey man, I want you guys to find somebody, greet them, let

  142. them know how glad you are seeing this morning.

  143. Right, you guys can go ahead and grab a seat.

  144. Hey, as you guys are sitting down, I want you guys to know

  145. that I am getting some feedback here.

  146. You guys are getting ready to sit on something awesome.

  147. It's called our connection card. This connection card is an all

  148. play moment. It's for everybody in the house.

  149. So let me tell you a little bit about it.

  150. If you call real life home, we love it when you fill out these

  151. cards. Let us know what's going on in

  152. your life. You put on some prayer requests,

  153. some praises. We love to pray over these week

  154. in week out. Our team really looks forward to

  155. it and they truly excited to see what you guys have going on when

  156. you turn those in. If you guys are new with this,

  157. I'm going to make a promise to you and I'm going to ask

  158. anything else from you this week except one simple thing.

  159. We just love for you to introduce yourself to us.

  160. Let us know who you are, fill out the information to the level

  161. that you're comfortable with. We're not going to show up your

  162. door or anything like that, but we want you to that we care

  163. about you. We'd love to send you more

  164. information about real life this week so you guys have an

  165. opportunity to turn those cards in a little bit later in the

  166. gathering. We do all of this week in and

  167. week out because we say that we are a church on a mission is why

  168. we exist is why we do what we do.

  169. That mission is to see people far from Jesus discovered the

  170. real life of her. They're far from God discovered

  171. the real life of purpose in Jesus.

  172. What that means is this is like when you guys walk through your

  173. daily life. Is everything always perfect?

  174. Is it easy? It's not right.

  175. And I get to talk to people at work just on on the daily

  176. routine and they come in they're like, man, my life is destroyed,

  177. it's broken. What do I do next?

  178. That's why this real life church is here, is to get people

  179. connected to what's next to find their next step, to find that

  180. purpose, to find that mission because you're never going to

  181. find that out in the world, but you're going to find that in

  182. Jesus, in the pleasure and the joy of us.

  183. What we do every week is we can see people walk in here broken

  184. and destroyed and they walk out with hope.

  185. They walk out with the knowledge of that somebody cares about

  186. them, that Jesus loved them enough to die for them.

  187. That's what the gospel is and that's why we're on mission.

  188. And so it really leads in also to what we're in the middle of

  189. this Difference Maker series. And I'm so glad you guys are

  190. here. We kicked it off last week.

  191. And so for the next 5 weeks, we're going to lean into what

  192. really this church has always been about, but we're going to

  193. put an exclamation point on it. So for the last eight years, if

  194. you don't know our story, God has used this body, this

  195. gathering to bring hope and transformation throughout this

  196. community and really across the world.

  197. But God has asked us to step into a season for all of us to

  198. become difference makers. And what that's going to look

  199. like is we're got being called to not create a building, but to

  200. create a movement. And we're hoping that God takes

  201. this tool of a building that we're, we're, we're reaching for

  202. in, in, in building some momentum to, to take that to

  203. change to the next generation. It's what we're believing that

  204. God's going to remove obstacles. We're believing in God to make

  205. the impossible happen. We don't have the answers to

  206. everything, but we're looking to the God that does.

  207. And so we're hoping and we're praying and we're having faith

  208. that God will take every person in this room individually to

  209. become difference makers, to change the next generation, to

  210. see souls transform. So once you guys take this

  211. opportunity, let's give a big, huge, real life welcome and

  212. bring up Pastor Sean as we continue Difference Maker.

  213. Hey, I don't even need that today, Barry.

  214. Oh, man, they, they, they upgraded me, baby.

  215. So it's good. That's right.

  216. I don't know if that's going to work out very well.

  217. So well, man, who's feeling blessed today?

  218. Come on, somebody that song, man, God is able.

  219. Was that good or what? That was just something for your

  220. soul today. It's it's refreshing to remember

  221. what the Lord can do and it's possible to do anything.

  222. And so I'm going to celebrate a few things.

  223. Oh, by the way, if you're like what happened to Pastor Sean?

  224. I fought a bear, I killed a lion.

  225. It got me a little bit. I'm good.

  226. But yeah, three weeks out of surgery from rotator cuff and

  227. it's going really well. Amen.

  228. I'm blessed, so don't worry about me, but just keep praying

  229. it's good. So I got three more weeks in

  230. this bad boy. Hopefully that's it and I'm good

  231. to go. I'll slowly take a journey back.

  232. But today I want to celebrate a few things.

  233. One last week we had five people commit to life, to Jesus, Amen.

  234. That's amazing. That's significant.

  235. It's about why we're doing a building, why we have this

  236. initiative. That's the best kickoff we could

  237. ever have, Amen. Like that's why we're doing it.

  238. The building is a tool, right? It's, it's, it's a, it's a means

  239. to an end the, the mission, the movement.

  240. Like Barry talked about, sometimes you put a building up,

  241. it's like we arrived. It's like we just started Amen.

  242. Like it's about the gospel, it's about souls.

  243. It's not about concrete and steel.

  244. And so we're excited 5 people come to Christ last week.

  245. And I would encourage you guys, I've really what it looks like

  246. today to be an everyday difference maker.

  247. You know, we, we hear these stories like these five people

  248. come to Christ. Let me just tell you a little

  249. bit about how this, this usually happens.

  250. It's, it's actually not a very complicated formula.

  251. It's us going out and sharing the good news of Jesus and the

  252. conversations around us. And it doesn't mean we're just

  253. like preachers, like here's the gospel, but you weave the gospel

  254. in the conversations and you see people hurting, you see people

  255. in need, you see people broken, and you step in.

  256. That's a holy moment, Amen. That's a spiritual moment.

  257. And there's some people at our church that like have spiritual

  258. eyes to see like you just walk around.

  259. It's not like I go to church on Sunday like I am the church and

  260. I just see what God's doing all the time.

  261. I sense of spirit, I sense what the enemy is up to and I'm just

  262. going to step on in. And what those ladies in our

  263. church is Christy Hardy. She just has a spiritual sense

  264. on her. She's invited so many people

  265. who's been invited by Christy. Just show of hands.

  266. Like, I mean, there's a lot of you guys, right?

  267. I mean, a lot of people just know Christy, if you don't know

  268. where she runs her kids, she's married to Barry, you know,

  269. sorry, but she was out about 3 weeks ago, maybe a month ago,

  270. and she ran some people she knew.

  271. And one of his name was Perla and she divided Perla to church

  272. with her family and didn't know what God's going to do.

  273. She shows up the next week and that was a week Logan was

  274. preaching, not Logie, all right, but he said he can do a good

  275. Logie, he's good at that. Just don't do something.

  276. And that Logan's preaching and guess what?

  277. Perla and her sister, her family came to Christ.

  278. Amen. Just because everyday roommaker

  279. just somebody saw somebody and said man that God can make a

  280. difference your life. It was just like come out to

  281. real life like how you doing spiritual what's going on your

  282. life. Hey, you know what's made a

  283. difference in my life? It is Jesus.

  284. Can you just come with me? I'll save you a seat like I'll

  285. sit with you. Just just come on out and see

  286. what God can do. She comes to Christ last week.

  287. You know what they did They're so excited about Jesus.

  288. They invited somebody with them. Amen.

  289. Like this is how the gospel goes.

  290. It's just relationship circles. And so sometimes you

  291. overcomplicate this for like other spiritual, like spiritual.

  292. I don't even call that like your, your spiritual pedestals.

  293. There's spiritual practitioners, there's spiritual privilege.

  294. No Amen. You have the same Holy Spirit as

  295. everybody else does. The the ground of the cross is

  296. equal by the way it's level and the power of God lives in you.

  297. I will encourage you to when you're like living on mission,

  298. please don't say you're not qualified or you're not good

  299. enough or you don't have don't know enough.

  300. Can I tell you you you know enough?

  301. Like just tell people what you do know.

  302. Amen. Like you don't tell what you

  303. don't know. And then you Start learning.

  304. So if you know like A to G, tell them about everything in front

  305. of it, right? Don't worry about Z or like

  306. bury, like triple Z like the dudes you know, watching all

  307. these things, right? Like you don't have to tell

  308. people what you don't know, but I encourage you to go out and

  309. share and see what God can do. That's just a little story,

  310. right? Everyday dress Baker, you can

  311. make a difference to all this. Last week, those yard signs were

  312. like flying off the shelf. They were going.

  313. I talked about how many people come to church because they saw

  314. a sign and I really wasn't planning on it.

  315. And then all of a sudden people were taking signs.

  316. That's an introverted dream. Amen.

  317. I mean, you don't have to do nothing.

  318. You just like, hey, I put it out and guess what?

  319. You got one more MO left in this season, brother.

  320. Boom, 8 months of being a witness, six months of being a

  321. witness. Just stick it down in the yard,

  322. right And all of a sudden you're proclaiming just the good news

  323. of Jesus and there's a place of hope and people come because

  324. that Amen. So there's some signs out there

  325. for you. Take more than one right, put

  326. them out, give some friends. Somebody actually left one last

  327. week and you know, like you're always wondering like does

  328. somebody taking on tear down or is this supposed to be here?

  329. Well, they weren't taking it just got left out.

  330. So I brought it home and a God's great sovereignty.

  331. There's a man came house yesterday and said I meant to

  332. grab a sign last Sunday. I said, well, did God set you up

  333. for a reason? It's here in my garage.

  334. Here's your sign, right? So, yeah, we went on a walk,

  335. five mile walk last night and guess what?

  336. That sign was in the yard on sunrise.

  337. Come on somebody, right? And that's just a little

  338. everyday difference maker. I want to encourage you guys as

  339. well. There's a, a lady that goes to

  340. our church, loves our church, loves Jesus and took everyday

  341. difference maker, not just here, but across the world.

  342. And she's been in Thailand just over three months and just got

  343. back this this last week. She was really tired, but we're

  344. going to stop her. And you, you know her.

  345. She comes here if you don't know her, but her name's Rochelle

  346. Morlock. And if she's watching online,

  347. I'll just come to the second. But if you give up for Rochelle,

  348. Amen, let me know. Your lover, turn the gospel out.

  349. Every difference maker across the world.

  350. And I'm a big fan. And that the gospel is not just

  351. for here, it's for all places. And when you read the Great

  352. Commission, it's not, it's not either or you can't be like,

  353. well, I just don't do missions or like I'm the way out of

  354. missions. I believe it's both ends.

  355. I believe the light shines bright here and we take it

  356. somewhere else as well. And so I believe you support

  357. local and you support across the world that we stay and we go, we

  358. pray. Some of you're supposed to go,

  359. some of you're called to go. Amen, Amen.

  360. You better keep your hands open. You got if you tell me no, I'm

  361. like, God's been working on you, right?

  362. Like this is so we play a part of the story.

  363. And so everyday difference makers, man.

  364. And one of those ways to do that is through fasting.

  365. And you guys have been fasting. How many guys have been fasting

  366. last couple weeks? You've tried at least once

  367. you've been doing it show of hands.

  368. I mean, that is significant. Can you guys give it up for

  369. everybody's fasting of the day, by the way?

  370. I mean, that's a weird thing like, but this should be normal.

  371. There should be normal language in the Christian world and a

  372. church is that people prayer fast for the will of God and the

  373. things of God and it makes an amazing difference.

  374. And sometimes you forget like the power of fasting.

  375. So I'm going to keep just kind of plug in this a little bit and

  376. just pushing a little bit. There's a story of a lady in the

  377. Bible named Hadessa. Has anybody heard of Hadessa?

  378. My guess is you all have heard of her at some level, but you

  379. don't know her Jewish name. I was kind of said Yep, on that

  380. was kind of me in a little bit. She has a Persian name.

  381. Maybe help out a little bit. Esther.

  382. Her name's Esther. And I always think it's

  383. interesting like we that the Bible kept like their slave name

  384. or like, you know, Shadrach, Meshach and Benigo that that's

  385. not their real names, right? Like they've been renamed by the

  386. culture they're in. And so Esther's story is quite

  387. amazing. I'm not going to give it

  388. justice, just saying because I don't have a ton of time to walk

  389. through the story, but I would encourage you to read it.

  390. It'll take you about 30 minutes. So if you find Psalms back up,

  391. go through Job, go back Esther's story.

  392. It's 10 chapters and it's very, very powerful.

  393. It's let me give you like the big context and the power of

  394. prayer and fasting. So Esther, she's a young teenage

  395. girl, OK? She's not some mature person.

  396. She doesn't have all put together, but she has great

  397. faith. She's part of the remnant that

  398. came down from Babylon captivity.

  399. Her her cousin Mordecai came with her end up adopting her.

  400. And so she's just in this Kingdom of Persian.

  401. The Kingdom of Persia is massive.

  402. It goes from Egypt, Turkey, all the way east, all the way

  403. through India. You're talking a huge amount one

  404. of the one of the greats, you know, like you have the, the

  405. Greek Empire, the Roman Empire, the Persian empires, one of

  406. those empires and the the king Zarxies, his wife did not obey

  407. him, which I didn't blame her because he's asking for some

  408. pretty inappropriate things. And she says no.

  409. And he basically talks to his counsel and they say, Hey, let's

  410. just there's a law that she can't even talk to you unless

  411. you unless you actually invite her to come in.

  412. And so he casts her outtakes away her power.

  413. And so we need to find a new queen.

  414. And Long story short, to bring up Esther and God appoints her.

  415. Now Esther's a Jew, but nobody knows she's Jewish.

  416. She's hid it. And so there's this man named

  417. Haman. Somebody say Haman, we're going

  418. to hate on this guy day, OK, because he hated the Jews.

  419. He was upset. Mordecai wouldn't respect him.

  420. He wouldn't bow down. And so he said, hey, Mordecai,

  421. I'm not going to just kill you. I'm going to kill every Jew in

  422. the Persian Empire. We're talking about hundreds and

  423. hundreds and hundreds of thousands of Jewish people.

  424. They're going to be killed. And So what happens is this gets

  425. spread out to all the the the area.

  426. There's the edict that's put out.

  427. The Haman had talked to king and to make an edict kill everybody.

  428. And he did something very special.

  429. He cast lots to pick the day of which he'd kill him.

  430. It's what that means is they have these stones or these

  431. sticks and they kind of throw them out kind of like you play

  432. dice. And then whatever number it was,

  433. I was like, OK, that's the day we're going to do it.

  434. And so they cast lots to pick the day.

  435. An actual day like this is the edit goes out to 127

  436. territories, and that day you're going to eradicate and

  437. distinguish every Jewish person in our Kingdom.

  438. That's pretty crazy to think about.

  439. And so Mordecai hears this. And at this point, the nation is

  440. already fascinating. The people are hearing this.

  441. They're carrying their clothes and sackcloth and ashes.

  442. They're mourning and they're fascinating for how to make a

  443. move. Mordecai calls that or calls up.

  444. He didn't call her up, right? Oh, Esther, maybe he did that,

  445. right? But he gets a hold of Esther and

  446. he tells her about the plot. And he says she goes, well, I'll

  447. talk to the king. I'm going to be killed because

  448. against the law. And he said, well, maybe you put

  449. in this position for just a time as this, right?

  450. Like maybe God put you here on purpose.

  451. And so she replies to him her plan, and she asked me something

  452. very special. She asked me to fast.

  453. So you can find this in Esther chapter 4 verse 16, she said

    Esther 4:16

  454. this. Go gather together all the Jews

  455. who are in Sousa, which Sousa is the base of the place where the

  456. king is ruling from, and fast for me.

  457. And look at how long the fast is.

  458. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day.

  459. That's a fast. Amen.

  460. I mean that ain't like the 12 hour window of not eating.

  461. We're talking about full on God. I need you or a backs against

  462. the wall more than any of this food in this water.

  463. I need you to make a move. I need you to deliver us.

  464. I'm trusting you and they're begging for God to make a move

  465. and praying for her for a divine favor with the king says I my

  466. attendance will fast as you do, which is a great leadership

  467. principle by the way. And when this is done, I will go

  468. to the king even though is against the law.

  469. And if I perish, come on somebody, I perish.

  470. Like if I'm going out, I'm going out, but I'm going to go out.

  471. But the way that I believe God has called me to go out.

  472. And so God answers the prayer. There's actually something very

  473. special happens. There's a dream, or it's not a

  474. dream, but he keeps the king awake.

  475. He can't sleep and sort of starts reading the Chronicles of

  476. Anals, which is history book. And he finds out that Mordecai

  477. has actually saved his life. The Mordecai found some spies

  478. and he got them eliminated. And so he starts to honor

  479. Mordecai and ticks off Haman. And it's all the backdrop of how

  480. Esther meets with Haman privately or his Arxes.

  481. And he and he, she tells them, hey, this is the man that set

  482. the plot up that's even going to kill me.

  483. I'm a Jewish person. And so she gives goes out the

  484. next day, the third day, and she stands in front of the king is

  485. what it says in chapter 5, verse one.

  486. On the third day, Esther put on her roller robes and stood in

  487. the inner court of the palace. That's a huge act of faith, by

  488. the way, like you're going to go somewhere where the last person

  489. was cast out and you're most likely going to be killed.

  490. As she steps into this inner court and in front of the King's

  491. hall. And the king was sitting on the

  492. roll throne in the hall facing the entrance.

  493. And when she saw the Queen Esther stay in the court, he was

  494. what what's to say? Yeah, He was pleased with her

  495. and held out his her and the golden scepter that was in his

  496. hand, which was inviting her in. And the the the favor of the

  497. king was amazing. King's archies told her, I'll

  498. give you whatever you want, up to half the Kingdom.

  499. That's a good day. Amen.

  500. That's exactly what they've been praying for, God's favor.

  501. And she goes, I don't want the Kingdom.

  502. Matter of fact, I wouldn't even question this.

  503. You've made us slaves, but they're going to kill us.

  504. And who's in charge of this? And she pointed out Heyman and

  505. get and guess who got killed that day?

  506. Heyman. And then Mordecai got promoted

  507. to the second in charge of the entire Kingdom.

  508. And then out of that, they warned the Jews of the fight.

  509. The Jews fight back. All of Heyman's kids get killed

  510. and Mordecai steps in the place of prominence.

  511. You had no idea that fasting could do that, Amen, That that

  512. fasting could change A nation like this is a a teenage girl

  513. that changed. That's an everyday difference

  514. maker, by the way, Amen. Like, like she had no idea that

  515. that little step of faith, like just walking into a hall and

  516. going against the government, that would never happen.

  517. Amen. Right.

  518. Like that, that we would break some rules for Jesus would be in

  519. the will of God and be used to save kingdoms.

  520. I want to encourage you when you fast, it can change your

  521. marriage, it can change the city, it can change this church,

  522. it can change your family. And in this case, it actually

  523. changed a nation. And so I'm encourage you guys to

  524. faster in the season we talk about building or have this

  525. initial campaign to raise money, this initiative so we can say

  526. yes to a space because we're asking for divine favor.

  527. Amen. We're asking for boldness.

  528. We're asking to be in the right rooms, but I don't want you to

  529. miss this. It's all about everyday people,

  530. every one of us stepping into our call and asking Jesus, what

  531. would you have me do today? Not just showing up on Sunday.

  532. You know, I know a lot of churches and they have great

  533. buildings, but sometimes those buildings are empty.

  534. You ever been in the church? There's an empty building.

  535. I mean, you ever worked somewhere?

  536. I mean, I used to work at a church and it's like, man, this

  537. place could see the 800. You know, that's like, I wish I

  538. could take the pews out because we're running too, right?

  539. I mean, and and there's a lot of big buildings that doesn't have

  540. healthy ministry. And the the point is this, if we

  541. build a monument and we get back and we go, man, look what we

  542. did. Whoo, those are the glory days.

  543. Like don't waste our time, Amen? Like, like it's a movement and

  544. the building is a tool. It's it's a means.

  545. It's not, it's not really the vision like the that's part of

  546. the vision to get to where we're going, but the vision is souls,

  547. Amen? The division to see souls

  548. change. And I've been crowned to God

  549. asking God to give us 10s of thousands of souls, not

  550. hundreds, not thousands, 10s of thousands.

  551. Like why not us? Like why not in our generation

  552. that we'd be a force for the Kingdom of God because we were

  553. everyday difference makers for him.

  554. It's really about stories, right?

  555. Like we talked about the stories earlier of Perla and, and people

  556. going out and just signs these little things.

  557. That's what the church is made of, Amen.

  558. And we can do that. We'll qualify to do that.

  559. And so I believe there's been 10s of thousands of stories as a

  560. result of the space that we're going to that God's going to

  561. bring us to. But I want to share with you one

  562. of these stories that's already happened that is so powerful.

  563. And this is one of so many stories, right?

  564. We talk about 500 people come to Christ so far.

  565. This is one of those stories. So lean in and listen and ask

  566. yourself how, what's the everyday difference makers that

  567. made this story possible? Because you're going to see them

  568. in the story. So this is it.

  569. Check it out. I am this and this is my story

  570. before real life, before coming to Christ at all.

  571. I battled depression since I was a kid, full of anxiety, no self

  572. worth, spent years trying to find myself and figure out who I

  573. was and as I got older I turned to drugs obviously just made

  574. everything worse. Nothing ever worked.

  575. Coming back to a point of even being suicidal when I finally

  576. had my breakthrough at a concert.

  577. All the sudden in the middle of of this concert, I had the most

  578. powerful, I don't know, goosebumps all over my entire

  579. body and that moment I had actually heard God, he just said

  580. come to me. It was a couple months after

  581. that is when I hit one of my lowest lows.

  582. Finally decided to push the pride aside and go with what God

  583. was telling me and find him. I reached out to Kyle spread and

  584. came to real life church. The start of my transformation

  585. where the real difference in my life began.

  586. My daughter Luciana had been asking me to go to youth group.

  587. They eventually obviously took her.

  588. It was a worship night when we like the first night that I took

  589. her that I stuck around just to just to see how, you know, this

  590. whole youth thing was going and how my daughter would do in it.

  591. And as everybody is and going around the room praying, I just

  592. I completely broke down into tears and couldn't help but feel

  593. God's spirit just heavy on me. After that night, I couldn't

  594. help but to come back and there was a joke that was made that

  595. maybe I could step in and leave with Kyle.

  596. I contacted Sean and I said, you know, that this was brought up.

  597. You know, I was like, can we maybe talk about that, because

  598. something that I want to do is help people and I feel like I

  599. could, you know, help these kids.

  600. After that, Sean said, you know, man, you got to meet me really

  601. got to know Christ before you do this.

  602. So let, let let's let's meet up. We met at Panera Bread.

  603. There I was, Sean had me praying in public and Panera declaring

  604. that I had given my life to Jesus Christ and he was my

  605. savior and I had believed everything that he had done for

  606. me. And the story kind of goes from

  607. there, you know, going into and becoming the accused leader and

  608. everything, the faith spreading through my family.

  609. I don't know, every time that I was coming to church it was like

  610. he was speaking directly to me most times.

  611. All the love and acceptance I had felt from everybody in the

  612. church and does everything about it.

  613. Finally find that person and me that I had tried to find for so

  614. many years. Being able to express my

  615. happiness and but but finally express true happiness and in a

  616. real way as kind of a roller toaster, but not really like a

  617. downward roller toaster. There was no more depression, no

  618. more feeling of being lonely as like a weight lifted off of me

  619. like I could I could finally breathe.

  620. I can find solace knowing that God is with me and I can turn to

  621. him. I'm a completely different

  622. person from just over a year ago.

  623. I would have never gotten to experience any of this had I not

  624. found my salvation. I got baptized 2 months or so

  625. after I found my salvation, but not only did I get baptized, my

  626. wife and my daughter got baptized along with me.

  627. I can't thank God enough, and I can't thank this church enough

  628. for having us all feel so loved and accepted.

  629. It's changed all of our lives so much.

  630. Just a couple months ago my 7 year old got baptized as well.

  631. If you've never seen or heard a 7 year old and come up with her

  632. own prayer and it's one of the cutest things ever.

  633. I believe that it's important for us as a church to be

  634. difference makers and step out and try to find a permanent

  635. space for us because they can allow us to bring more people

  636. in. And have that many more people

  637. come to Christ and more lost souls just like me to find their

  638. salvation. If somebody like me can find

  639. Jesus here, then imagine the thousands more that could in our

  640. first permanent home. And I'm proof that this is a

  641. place where prodigals can come home.

  642. For them. That story is so many levels of

  643. go God, so many levels of redemption and just coming off

  644. all the things and you know what, it's fun.

  645. It's good to play part of the story, a small part of the

  646. story. Amen.

  647. Like you did you guys see this? This isn't just a story of how

  648. God can make a difference in Lucas's life, although that is

  649. the primary story. Like that's the banner.

  650. Like thank you, Jesus, what you did, but behind the story,

  651. there's a lot of small stories. Did you guys pick up on the

  652. small stories that he he was hurting and he called his friend

  653. Kyle. Kyle and Mandy had been praying

  654. for Lucas and inviting him to go to church for over 15 years.

  655. Like they never gave up on their high school buddies, ran

  656. together, all those different things.

  657. And Kyle and Mandy were broken for him.

  658. And so when he got into a spot where he needed God and he need

  659. to find an answer, who do you call the everyday difference

  660. maker in his life? Amen.

  661. The one that truly cared that like never gave up was always

  662. there, always encouraging. And because that he invited him

  663. out to to to the youth group. But you notice who invited him,

  664. his daughter. Remember that his daughters beg

  665. him to come to youth. By the way, didn't know Jesus

  666. yet, but invited his her dad to come out to youth and come and

  667. he shows up and you see the difference that happened.

  668. There was a group of people that have this thing called a youth

  669. team, Amen, that actually have a youth group and these people

  670. come there and and their own time and energy and it's it's

  671. effort and they set up like we set up here, not to this extent,

  672. but they set up and they pray for those kids and they have fun

  673. with those kids. I've I've broken my body for

  674. teenagers in the past, right, I've had broken ankles.

  675. I have a skull fracture. Great story, by the way.

  676. We'll go there one day from playing dodgeball with

  677. teenagers, right, and I'm just telling you like if something

  678. special, just the power God being released because people in

  679. praying and caring and leading and the whole team just weekly

  680. just grind out for Jesus trying to show these young people faith

  681. in Christ. Amen.

  682. I mean, that's one little story right behind the scenes.

  683. Like no, they get credit, they get credit How how about he's

  684. back in this worship night. Do you hear him say that he was

  685. in this worship night? That's a God moment.

  686. We've done that one time, one time like and we were back in

  687. this conference room and I believe Don was playing acoustic

  688. guitar. The lights are out and the

  689. member of the Holy Spirit in that space I'd have by people to

  690. pray and many leaders prayed. I don't think there was a maybe

  691. there's one teenager. I don't think there's any

  692. teenagers that prayed that night.

  693. Maybe there's one, but there was leaders that prayed and one of

  694. those leaders, I'll never forget it.

  695. He actually just walked in. I'm so glad that God brought you

  696. in last, last second. It's Brett White back here and

  697. for the first time I feel right. That was the first time you've

  698. ever prayed out loud publicly. That right Amen and you had

  699. known that the prayer he was praying would be a breakthrough

  700. moment for Lucas praying over what God could do in this

  701. generation because you can see the hope of the future in this

  702. room and how desperate they need God himself and not the world

  703. that's pulling in all this stuff and Lucas be actually begin to

  704. cry in that space and he'd been to shed tears and he kind of

  705. moved his daughter kind of off his lap and his tears are

  706. dripping down his face onto me. Don't when people know he's

  707. crying. He took him months and months

  708. and months before he told me the story.

  709. And then he wants to serve at youth ministry before he knows

  710. Jesus. Come on, somebody.

  711. That's amazing. It was like, OK, God, you're

  712. obviously moving. Let's go to Panera because

  713. that's, that's what we need, right?

  714. And we just sat down and talked through a story and all the

  715. things like many of you, there's just stories.

  716. I mean, conversations like, hey, man, I grew up with this and

  717. this and this and I just don't, I don't know, man, my dad, like,

  718. I don't know if I can really trust, you know, God because

  719. man, my family was so broken and all of a sudden like God just

  720. shows him and he comes to Christ.

  721. Do you see the difference makers behind the story?

  722. Like I'm just thankful to play a part of the story.

  723. It's the most fun when you're part of the God's work is

  724. getting a front row seat to the things of God.

  725. There's just something special about seeing the stories and

  726. knowing the people and the people have been invited, how

  727. things are working and just be able to share the a little piece

  728. and then seeing their life changed.

  729. And that's the stories we're looking for.

  730. Amen. That's the stories we know God

  731. will write. Lucas is a story of a prodigal

  732. that came home and we believe our city is full of prodigals.

  733. We we've prayed for our city before we launched the church in

  734. this city. Like we want to be a movement of

  735. God in our city and around the world.

  736. We believe this is the next step to do that.

  737. But I want to encourage you guys in in the in the Bible, there is

  738. and this is going to be kind of like skipping a rock.

  739. OK, so it's going to be a little different type of message, but I

  740. was going to encourage you guys of the everyday difference

  741. makers you see in Scripture. It's just the ones we kind of

  742. skip by. You may go, I don't know who

  743. that is or maybe I forgot about that story, but just a small

  744. acts and how they make big extraordinary differences

  745. because sometimes we think there's this pedigree they must

  746. have or some of this education level or a stage in a

  747. microphone. Christianity really doesn't need

  748. a stage in a microphone. Amen.

  749. Like it does really well without it too.

  750. Like this can be mistaken for a church.

  751. So we call it a gathering because you guys gather together

  752. and then we scatter out. It's a 24/7 mission.

  753. Amen, Amen. Like most guys like just want to

  754. like have a great Sunday. It's like, no, I want to honor

  755. God all days of my life and receive ourselves be redemption

  756. to the world, salt and light, giving answers to those who are

  757. broken all throughout the week. We come back here to get

  758. encouraged, refreshed and sent out.

  759. So let me give you some examples in the Bible.

  760. How about this? This isn't John 6 and there's

  761. not on the Scripture of this, but just know they're at this is

  762. the boy with a sack lunch everyday difference maker.

  763. Remember there's 5000 people. It's not it's just the men, OK.

  764. And and Jesus is telling the disciples like how we get some

  765. you need some food, how we going to do it?

  766. And this little boy gives 5 fish and two loaves.

  767. You guys know that story. You know, it's one of the only

  768. stories miracles of Jesus that's recorded all four gospels.

  769. That's how powerful it was. But what made it so powerful?

  770. It's because the 12 disciples lacked the faith that God could

  771. do the miracle and we just sang a song that God is able.

  772. Do you guys believe that today? Like he can do the miracle and

  773. this little boy full of faith says here, you can do it.

  774. And he did everything. He says all I got Lord, but you

  775. can do more with than I can. And God multiplied it and broke

  776. it. Do you remember the end of the

  777. story? What happened?

  778. He sent out the 12 to pick up the baskets.

  779. That was the point of story. He's like, look, boys, I did it.

  780. You're going to pick up every one of those last piece of bread

  781. and you're going to carry it to the next city and don't forget

  782. it. His act of faith, Amen.

  783. He's teaching them that's significant.

  784. God can do extraordinary things when we open our hands to him.

  785. You know, you don't have to have a lot to be generous, Amen.

  786. You don't have to have $1,000,000 in the account.

  787. You don't have to. All things work together.

  788. Like it's just open your hands to what you have to God.

  789. That's what God can do. Think of a man named Andrew.

  790. Andrew is 1, is one of the disciples, right?

  791. But his story started out, he was a follower, John the Baptist

  792. and John the Baptist, he was a forerunner.

  793. He kind of proclaimed The Who Jesus was.

  794. And he just disappeared into the limelight.

  795. He went into obscurity. And I do think there's a point

  796. in your Christian life where you have to be OK with and believe

  797. deeply. It's OK to slip in, slip into

  798. his obscurity because the story was never about you.

  799. It was about Jesus. So it doesn't mean my name in

  800. lights or real life name in lights.

  801. There's not going to be no name in the church names in heaven,

  802. by the way, but it's the name of Jesus, Amen.

  803. Just step back and say, OK, and this is what John the Baptist

  804. did so well. And he pointed out and they

  805. said, oh, there's followers of Jesus.

  806. He goes, that's good because I'm not even worthy of laces,

  807. sandals. And the first thing that John

  808. the Baptist said about Jesus was behold, the Lamb of God.

  809. The Lamb of God, like Jesus was born to die.

  810. And John the Baptist knew it. He said, you need to follow him.

  811. And so Andrew started stalking him with this other disciple,

  812. which we know now is the one writing John.

  813. So John himself and Andrew stalking him.

  814. Emma's household days, kind of weird introduction.

  815. Like, what are you guys doing? And he hangs out juice all day.

  816. And the first thing Andrew does know, he does come.

  817. You guys know? Where's Andrew go?

  818. Somebody say it. Yeah.

  819. Went to his brother Peter. First thing Andrew does, he's

  820. all day with Jesus and he gets done with Jesus and he runs back

  821. home and says he's Simon, Simon, Simon.

  822. We found the one been looking for this Messiah.

  823. I met him today. You need to come with me.

  824. And then Peter goes to Jesus. I said Peter, Simon goes to

  825. Jesus and the first thing that Jesus does is so significant is

  826. he looks at Simon and he says you are no longer to be called

  827. Simon, but your name would be Peter.

  828. Because on this rock, I'm going to build my church.

  829. That's the first moment ever. Being Jesus, He gave him a new

  830. name, a new identity, a new purpose, a new calling.

  831. He knew exactly what was up for. And Peter would go on to be the

  832. one that preached on Pentecost, go on the one that plant the

  833. churches in Rome and be a force for the power of God in the New

  834. Testament. It's amazing, Amen.

  835. But if it wasn't for Andrew, there'd be no Peter.

  836. If there wasn't for somebody that just had a just a curiosity

  837. enough to follow somebody and a bold faith of a simple invite,

  838. we can do that. Amen.

  839. You think about the Samaritan woman at the well, right?

  840. This this probably a prostitute or been through this crazy

  841. stories of being married, you know, and at least five other

  842. men in her life, right. And Jesus sits down and he's the

  843. first one to ever tell him that tell anybody in the world that

  844. he was the Messiah. You're talking to him and he

  845. says, I'm going to give you living water.

  846. And she tells her everything she's done and give us living

  847. water. She recognized what Jesus is,

  848. and she runs from that well to her city and she says, guys,

  849. I've got to introduce you to somebody that told me that

  850. everything I've ever done in my life, this is the Messiah.

  851. We can do that, Amen. You don't have to have a degree

  852. or any theology to know that Jesus changed your life.

  853. Matter of fact, I think the best story is the one that you tell

  854. about how your life's been changed.

  855. People need more like Christianese, Amen.

  856. They didn't know that God made a difference in your life and he

  857. saved you and he changed you and you worship him.

  858. And so she goes back and she convinces these people the least

  859. likely person by the way, in the city that you would listen to.

  860. It'd be like a homeless person coming up to you and saying you

  861. got to go check this guy out. You'd be like kind of time for

  862. that, right? Like you're this the outcast.

  863. And she convinces the city to go find Jesus and says many came to

  864. faith, Amen. And everyday difference maker

  865. like don't make don't act like you're not qualified.

  866. You are qualified by Christ, by the Holy Spirit, Amen.

  867. Like there's not these different levels, like you're saved or not

  868. saved, you're holy or unholy. Like Jesus made you holy through

  869. his Spirit. And there's no small spirit.

  870. You don't get a little tight to the Spirit and then you start

  871. doing better with your life and he upgrades the Spirit of God,

  872. Amen. You don't earn your way to God.

  873. Like that's religion. It's two things that will pull

  874. you away from God. It's rebellion and religion.

  875. And I can preach another message on that tomorrow if you want me

  876. to. But OK, come back, Brett, I love

  877. you. How about Rahab?

  878. We, we mentioned on the huddler, this lady Rahab, she's a

  879. prostitute. She's in a foreign country.

  880. These spies come in, she hides them in the roof.

  881. When they come in and take over the nation, she puts a a cloth

  882. out the window and it protects her.

  883. And just by faith, she protects these spies and she's a

  884. prostitute. You know, she end up in the

  885. lineage of Jesus. Do you guys know that she was,

  886. she, she was in lineage of David and through the lineage of

  887. David, like we're talking lineage.

  888. I'm like, mom, you know, father, son, father, son, right?

  889. If you go to Matthew, she's, she's in the lineage of Jesus, a

  890. prostitute, Amen. And, and her act of faith was

  891. I'm going to hide you so you don't get killed from the people

  892. coming after you. That was an act of faith.

  893. By the way, most people don't know this, but she's actually

  894. listed in, in Hebrews 11. Do you know what the Hebrews 11

  895. is? It's the Hall of Fame, baby.

  896. That's the Hall of Fame. That's the Hall of Fame of

  897. faith. Like the world wasn't worthy of

  898. these people. And Rahab is listed everyday

  899. difference makers. Amen.

  900. Like we all could have done that.

  901. OK, how about Jokabed? Anybody heard of Jokabed?

  902. By the way, most of us have probably never heard this name.

  903. This is like one of the most obscure people in the Bible, but

  904. a great act of faith. This is Moses's mom, Jokabed.

  905. She looked at her son. There was a law from the

  906. Egyptians that every person that that was a was a Jew, that the

  907. boys should all be killed, thrown into the Nile River.

  908. And she goes, there's something different about my boy, which we

  909. all should have as parents, Amen.

  910. And she took Moses and she put them in a Reed basket and put

  911. them in these on the Nile River. And Pharaoh's daughter found

  912. Moses and a God's sovereignty. Mariam Jochabed's sister was

  913. watching and just line it up. We're like hey, this baby, I'm

  914. this lady that can nurse him and guess who nursed Moses joke Abed

  915. his very mom nursed him after he she saved his life and of course

  916. Moses we don't know Moses should probably get well know Moses,

  917. but got the 10 commandments like rescued the people from Egyptian

  918. slavery like chose not to follow the wealth of all of Egypt.

  919. He was second in command, but instead she was a suffer with

  920. his people. And you'd go on to write the

  921. first five books of the Bible. Without his mom, there's no

  922. Moses, Amen. But we can have that everyday

  923. faith, right? Like the Jogabed type of faith.

  924. How about the friends that laid down, lowered down, the

  925. paralyzed man through the roof? By the way, one of my favorite

  926. stories ever in the Bible because I had friends that

  927. brought me to Jesus, right? Somebody cared enough about me

  928. spiritually to invite me to church and to say no, You got to

  929. go, man. You got to go.

  930. And these men, they picked up this mat.

  931. This man was paralyzed. You couldn't walk.

  932. And he just, they carried it. I don't know if the guy wanted

  933. to go or not. Amen.

  934. He didn't have a choice. You're going to get to Jesus.

  935. And the crowds are so big they couldn't get to see him.

  936. He was inside this house and said, do we got an idea?

  937. Let's just go up on the roof as against the side of the hill.

  938. We're going up on the roof and we're going to just breakthrough

  939. the roof. So as Jesus preaching, the roof

  940. starts coming and caving in and Jesus like, all right, let's see

  941. it. And it'll lower this man down in

  942. front of Jesus. And Jesus says because of your

  943. faith, these friends, your sins are forgiven.

  944. And these people get mad at him. They're religious people.

  945. And they said, who are you to forgive sins?

  946. And he goes, well, what's easier to forgive sins or say take up

  947. your mat and walk? And that dude stood up, was

  948. healed, rolled his mat up and walked out the front door.

  949. Amen. That's the power, everyday

  950. difference maker. Just great friends.

  951. You need to have friends, by the way, like that.

  952. And you need to be one of those friends, like we have some in

  953. our life that needs Jesus, right?

  954. Like, and we pray for them, we care for them and there's divine

  955. appointments and divine opportunities.

  956. And we say, you know what, I'm going to get you to the feet of

  957. Christ if we just get you in the presence of God.

  958. It's just simple. That's what we do.

  959. How about Philip on the Ethiopian official, the

  960. Ethiopian, the, the man from Ethiopia, right?

  961. He's in this chariot and he just left this big feast and he, he's

  962. on the way home. He pulled over and the Spirit of

  963. God, he goes to Philip, it says run up to the chariot and he

  964. runs the chariot and this man's reading Isaiah 54 and he's like,

  965. there's a like a sheep led to the slaughter.

  966. And Philip goes, you know what you're reading?

  967. He goes, I have no idea. Everyone felt like that when you

  968. read the Bible, right? I have no idea what I just read.

  969. It's like it's easy to do because there's so much there's

  970. so many different stories and way God's been working and he

  971. goes, I just need to know. And so he explains to him that

  972. that's the sheep is Jesus, right?

  973. Behold, the Lamb of God. This is Jesus who dies for our

  974. sins. He took our iniquity of us all.

  975. He was bruised for our sins. He was raised alive again.

  976. He preached the Gospel and it's this Ethiopian man comes to

  977. Christ. And what's amazing about the

  978. story is he's probably the first convert that is going to Africa,

  979. Amen. You think about one conversation

  980. has the potential and did change a continent, one conversation,

  981. Amen. And so you're like, oh, I'm just

  982. telling somebody Jesus. You have no idea who you're

  983. telling about Jesus. You have no idea.

  984. There's a church, There's a Macedonian church.

  985. It's in 2nd Corinthians 8, it's in the Romans, it's in Acts as

  986. well. This masculine church.

  987. It is something very special. You may not know the story.

  988. It's a very small, obscure story, but it's very powerful.

  989. They gave an offering and took up money for the church in

  990. Jerusalem. That was that was in a famine,

  991. that was in a plague and they were suffering.

  992. And this is a Gentile church, isn't it?

  993. No Jewish people at all. And they were poor.

  994. They were, they were a broke group of people.

  995. And the Bible says they gave out of what they had and beyond

  996. their ability. And they said, don't give.

  997. And they said, we have a desire to give to the church in

  998. Jerusalem. Don't rob us from that blessing.

  999. We're going to do it. And so Paul was so moved by

1000. their generosity that he wrote to the Church of Corinth and

1001. told them, Hey, look, if you are willing, will you have the same

1002. amount of desire as these guys? Because it's not about the

  1003. amount. It's it's a it's about the

1004. desire. And he even says the equality of

1005. the gift, like if they're willing to give in their poor

1006. and their brokenness, would you be willing to give in your

1007. excess, in your wealth? And he says, this is this.

1008. I'll just have to read part of it.

1009. I just got to do it. He says this and I, I didn't put

1010. on the screen and saw our guys in the back.

1011. But it says in verse 842, it says for if the willingness is

1012. there talking to Church of Corinth, the gift is acceptable

1013. according to what one has not according to what 1 does not

1014. have. That's good theology can talk to

  1015. a lot of people. It's like, well, I just don't

1016. have enough or, and I wish I could because you know, it's

1017. like you're not called to give what you don't have, Amen.

1018. And these this this this poor like strapped church gives these

1019. credibly generous gift. And then God and Paul, like

1020. teaching these people about God's will is telling these

1021. other people, Hey, look, if your desire matches the desire, but

1022. then I'm good, Amen. That'd be pretty amazing.

1023. Like, so if you don't have a lot in the church, guess what?

1024. You can set the example. If you don't, if you don't have

1025. anything in your name, you'd be like, hey, I gave $10, set the

1026. example. I've been talking to teenagers

1027. like, hey, man, you got a lot, right?

1028. If you only have $100 bank account to give 10, that's

  1029. generous. Amen.

1030. And these people gave out their excess.

1031. And I'm telling you, man, God just shows up.

1032. There's been two times in my life where I've given the last

1033. dollar I've ever had and I gave it to church.

1034. And God has always shown up. I've never missed a meal.

1035. Come on somebody, I've never missed a meal.

1036. And God has always been so faithful.

1037. And I think it's one of those times like, if you don't have a

1038. lot, man, just give open your hands.

1039. What do you have? And say, Lord, can you multiply

1040. this, use this hand to him and then we can brag on your story,

1041. say, see what God's doing here. Will you guys step into the same

1042. level of generosity and faith? Paul said the goal is equality.

1043. As is written, the one who has gathered much did not have too

1044. much and the one who has gathered little did not have too

1045. little. Like we all were together on

  1046. this. Amen.

1047. And so, you know, you look at the commitment card and you're

1048. like, man, there's a lot of big numbers on here, right?

1049. I'm just down there, the down to low.

1050. I don't know if my number is even on the card.

1051. It's so small. Like go God, be generous at what

1052. level you could be generous, like have an act of faith

1053. wherever that act of faith is now for some of your numbers on

1054. the card, for some of your numbers not on the card the

1055. other way. I'm just being real.

1056. Like I didn't put a line above that, but you could say no, I

1057. could do that because it'd take more than we're even asking for

1058. it to do all the grasping we're trusting God to do.

1059. But the commitment card, we're not going to collect it right

1060. now, obviously, So please don't like fill it out to freak out.

1061. But down the road on the on the series, last thing I want to

1062. tell you about you guys ever heard of Billy Graham Little bit

1063. just a small guy, right? Thank God for Billy Graham, by

1064. the way. Thank God that somebody actually

1065. finished the race strong. A lot of gays get that last lap

1066. and sometimes they're like actually dead and then they

  1067. still fall. It's crazy.

1068. Billy Graham finished the race strong.

1069. But here's a story that you may not know about Billy Graham.

  1070. Billy Graham is South Carolina's 15 or 16 years old, 1938.

  1071. He's a teenager and he there's a guy that's going to come in

1072. town, circuit, ride and preach in his name, Mordecai Ham.

1073. Mordecai Ham is a fiery, fundamental Baptist preacher.

1074. Like he's fire and brimstone kind of guy.

1075. Billy Graham is like, I'm not an interested man.

1076. Like, I don't want to go. And his teenage friends are

1077. like, no man, you got to go. You got to hear this guy.

1078. You got to hear this guy. You know how teenagers are.

1079. They drag people with them, right?

1080. And so these teenagers, by the way, about to change the world,

1081. they, they dragged Billy Graham to this crusade.

1082. It's called the Sawdust Crusade. And they bring him to this tent.

1083. And the tent is packed full of people because teenagers are

  1084. what? Late?

  1085. They're late. Who knows?

1086. Billy Graham was late to church. Come on, somebody, right?

1087. And he was late. And so it was packed out.

1088. And so they walk out. They're like, there's no room.

1089. And so this group of teenagers are leaving, and there's two

1090. ushers that chase down this group of people.

1091. They say, hey, man, we'll make some room for you guys.

1092. We'll make some room. Come back, we'll get you.

1093. Come on, come on, come on, come on.

1094. And they get these teenagers, and they stuck them in the choir

1095. loft in the tent. That means they're probably

1096. behind the Mordecai hand, right? And this dude's preaching.

1097. And Billy Graham did not come to Christ the first night of that

1098. revival, but he came back and he came to Christ.

1099. Do you know that Billy Graham preached in person, not as ISM

1100. number online to 100 and 525,000,000 people.

  1101. That's a force of God. It's amazing if 3 million people

1102. came to Christ. Now think about this story and I

1103. think about everyday difference makers.

1104. Everybody knows Billy Graham, but they don't even know the

1105. names of the two ushers. Those guys made an impact for

  1106. eternity. Amen.

1107. Those teenagers made an impact for eternity, an everyday

1108. difference maker just by inviting somebody, bringing

1109. somebody open the door, chasing. No, no, we got room for you,

  1110. man. Take my seat.

1111. You've been to church. That's been that.

1112. That's my seat. Get out.

1113. You've been that church. I've not been to that church.

1114. You know, you just look around. You're like, why is everybody

1115. staring at me? Am I miss the wrong place?

1116. I've been, I've been to churches as a pastor.

1117. We're not a single person that said hi to me.

1118. I was asking questions like, what do you guys stand for?

1119. What are you guys doing? Where's the bathroom if you know

1120. somebody's new when they ask where the bathroom is, it's your

1121. first sign. I'm not a single person gave me

1122. the time of day. I really didn't even care.

1123. I was like why am I even here but thank God for the people

  1124. that do care. Amen.

1125. They see what spiritual lies and like no, come on in.

1126. Hey, how are you doing? Hey, what's your story?

1127. Hey, what God bring you here? What'd you came today for all

1128. these things, right and just love on them and hear them out

1129. and just kindly point them to Jesus.

1130. That's all it takes. Now think about these ushers and

1131. they're probably older than these teenagers, right?

1132. And they must have for surely passed away some point before

  1133. today. It's been a long time, 1938.

1134. And I just think about them being in heaven and probably the

1135. next sixty, 8090 years, 3 million people walk in the gates

1136. of heaven and they're there to usher them in.

1137. And they say thank you. You don't know who I am, but if

1138. it wasn't for you, I would not know Jesus today.

1139. Can you imagine having 300 handshakes in heaven by opening

1140. a door? By being faithful to small

  1141. stuff? That's amazing.

1142. Amen. You've never heard of the Feast

1143. of Purim? The feast of Purim?

1144. Most people never heard of it unless you're Jewish.

1145. The word the word purr or poor. It actually means a lot when we

1146. talk about casting lots. Remember harem?

1147. The guy who hated the Jews cast lots.

1148. Well, this feast is actually a slap in the face to everything

1149. that harem was trying to accomplish.

1150. And this man harem, he cast lots, which was basically

1151. saying, oh, this is the day they're going to die.

1152. And what what man thought? Well, by chance, this is just

1153. the way it's going to go. But God was in control.

1154. And so Mordecai, he did claimed, he claimed there'd be a feast

1155. that take place called the Feast of Forum that would take place

1156. on the very day that harem tried to kill every single Jew.

1157. And that feast started in 473 BC.

1158. Do you know the Jewish people still have that feast today that

1159. they actually read the story of Esther?

1160. And every time they say the word harem, they start stomping their

1161. feet screaming Boo. That's pretty fun.

1162. And for 2500 years, just shy about seven years or so they've

1163. been having this feast. Isn't that amazing to think

1164. about? Do do do you think that Esther

1165. at all had any idea that for 2500 years?

1166. What has been happening for a millennia?

1167. Is anything last of the millennia or two or two and a

1168. half a little girl's faith to stand up to a king and say, can

1169. you save my people? It's been celebrated for 2500

  1170. years. Everyday difference makers.

1171. And we can be that for our generation.

1172. Amen. It ain't rocket science.

1173. We don't have to make it super crazy.

1174. Just very simply share Jesus. There's people outside these

1175. doors. Walmart and Target need Jesus.

1176. Amen. And you sit down at coffee shops

1177. and you're on the phone and you got an interruption and there's

1178. things that happen. That's called ministry.

1179. And those people, if we could just slow down a little bit and

1180. just get our eyes off of ourselves and on to a lost and

1181. dying world, we will not have just a building, We will have a

1182. building full of ministry and life.

1183. But if we get our eyes off of the of the mission and we go, we

1184. got this amazing look what God did, and it's a past tense look

1185. at the glory days of God. We build a monument, we'll have

1186. an empty building that the city came and sell.

1187. It's the truth. And so the strength of the

1188. building is a strength of its ministry and a strength of its

1189. people. And so the call today is that we

1190. don't just think about building a building because that's not

1191. the call is that we would actually live on mission and

1192. that we would fill a building with the work and the wonder and

1193. the worship of God because we go out.

1194. Can you guys do that take that challenge Who this week can you

1195. be an everyday you're a difference maker for I've got

1196. family members that know Christ. I've got neighbors new Christ.

1197. I've got people that I can share with.

1198. And if you can see what spiritual eyes this week.

1199. If you look at people and see a sign on their head says bound

1200. for hell, you have a great start of being a difference maker.

1201. There was a man, he was a, he was an evangelist in England and

1202. he was a great evangelist. People asked him, well, how you

1203. be, how you so successful, How do you do this?

1204. And he took him to the window and he said, tell me what you

1205. see. And they said, oh, I see cars

1206. and I see businesses and I see this down the other.

1207. He said, I see souls, I see souls.

1208. And that's the difference. It's souls, not concrete and

1209. steel. It's not accolade, it's not your

1210. job, it's not building wealth. It's souls.

1211. Amen. And if you could just walk out

1212. this week and just see every day a soul that needs something, a

1213. soul you can measure to, a soul you can pray for.

1214. You can start wearing those shirts that kind of get people

1215. to ask questions. Like I'm not a fan like Rick

1216. wore the other day. Like you could just kind of live

1217. out a mission, like your social media.

1218. What a great place to start living on mission.

1219. Some of you guys are missing. I'll be real honest to you, some

1220. of you guys, more about your opinions than about souls, about

1221. saying stuff that doesn't even help anybody, especially

1222. yourself. You can just like minister, like

1223. digital platforms, like use the things of that God's put in

1224. front of us to make a difference in this generation.

1225. And you never know how God's going to use that.

1226. You could be that person that does something for somebody and

1227. you never meet him again and you get to heaven.

1228. You're like, brother, I had no idea that you got 3 million

1229. people that come to Christ because I just showed up to hold

  1230. a door. That's what I'm asking for.

1231. Amen. Play part of the story.

1232. So Father, come before you. God just help us be everyday

1233. difference makers. I mean, the house would say, you

1234. know what the Spirit of God speaking to me like I'd be more

1235. bold. I'd have more faith.

1236. At least you trust the Lord in the small stuff.

1237. I want to be an everyday difference maker, but that's you

1238. just put your hand high this place.

1239. So let the Lord know that's you, God speaking to you.

1240. Come on, Lord, thank you so much for speaking to these people.

1241. They got help us to remember that we're qualified at the

1242. cross. God, we're not behind that.

1243. We don't have to be on a pedestal.

1244. God, you've given us enough to share God, it's not it's not a

1245. comparison game. And so Lord, help us to show one

1246. other person another beggar where the food is that help our

1247. our our building initiative not to be about a building, but

1248. about souls about people. Remind us God, as we go out this

1249. week, we have the power, the greatest power given the gospel

1250. to save in the name of Jesus, the greatest name ever given

1251. every that every person's knee shall bow in heaven on earth,

1252. every single person that we have the power in the name of Jesus.

1253. Help us to believe what we're saying today that you were able

1254. to do miracles. God used us to do a miracle and

1255. sometimes it's holding the door and sometimes being bold in our

1256. faith. God show us today what's one

1257. person that we can, that we can be a difference maker for God.

1258. Help our church not to just put up steel, but to see souls

1259. changed, transformed like Lucas and that we could multiply that

1260. that we could exponentially see more people come to Christ, grow

1261. in their faith and sent out. That's the heart of this church.

1262. So thank you, Lord, we're begging God, we're asking you

1263. help us to continue to fast and pray and seek you, God, for our

1264. nation, for our church, for our families.

1265. God, we trust you. I'll pray for one more group of

1266. people in the house. That's those of you that say,

1267. you know what I need. Jesus, you talk about this lamb

1268. that came to die. I see the faith in this church.

1269. I may be invited. You might be that person that's

1270. been welcomed here today and you're wondering what's this all

1271. about? You've heard these stories of

  1272. deliverance. You're wondering, man, I did.

1273. I need that in my life. I need deliverance in my life.

1274. I heard Lucas's story. I can relate to the depression,

1275. to the story, to the brokenness. I'm the person that's been

  1276. running. I'm the prodigal.

1277. Here's where you know that that God loves you.

1278. He loved you enough to have somebody invite you here today.

1279. He loved you enough to send his one only son to Donna Cross for

1280. your sins. And it was your sins that put

1281. him on the cross as well. They died for you because he

1282. loved you and he wants your relationship with you.

1283. And the Bible says if you call on Jesus under his name because

1284. he died for your sins and exchanged all of your wrongs for

1285. all his rights, they will come into your life.

1286. The Holy Spirit will be in your life in this moment and save you

1287. from your sin and make your right with God.

1288. You can be one of those people that are delivered from your

  1289. sin. You're made new, you're made

1290. righteous, you're made whole. And you have the greatest story

1291. to ever share, the story of the gospel, the story of God's work

1292. in your life. And today, if you need Jesus, if

1293. you need forgiveness, you need the hope that even Billy Graham

1294. had to step into. You can have it today.

  1295. It's a free gift. And so that's you.

1296. You say you need to say yes to Jesus without him to be looking

1297. around. Just put your hand high in his

1298. place and say, I messed me. I need to say yes to Jesus

1299. today. The relationship of Christ

1300. today. Come on, see your hand.

1301. And Bill said he say yes to Jesus.

1302. This is your hand and your hand and your hand and your hand.

1303. Kind of like a revival going on today.

1304. So thank you, Lord, if that's you and you need Jesus, I'm just

1305. going to invite you to pray this prayer.

1306. The prayer does not save you, but it is your heart towards

1307. Christ. It is your humility and your

1308. obedience. And so they say, Father God,

1309. thank you so much for sending Jesus to dine across for my

1310. sins, to love me enough to come to this world, to to the worst

1311. neighborhood in the universe that love me and dine across

1312. through my sins. God know my sins put you there,

1313. but thank you Lord for loving me myself before you.

1314. God I I I'm not anybody special, but today I know I'm your son,

1315. I'm your daughter. I've been changed and God's you

1316. that gets the glories of God. Use my life God to be a

1317. difference maker. God that you've you've given me

1318. a new testimony today, a new name today a new purpose today,

1319. just like I went from Simon Witt to Peter.

1320. God give me a new name today. Remind me of my call where I'm

1321. I'm going and I'm yours God. Thank you for loving me God.

1322. I pray this in Jesus name. The church said Amen come on, go

1323. God today, Amen, Amen come on. That was I could have.

1324. Kept going just story after. Story of just ordinary people

1325. and how God does extraordinary things through that.

1326. And some of you today, a lot of you today recognized maybe some

1327. of the ordinary things that led you here today to meet Jesus.

1328. And if that's you and you raised your hand and you prayed your

1329. that prayer this morning to commit your life to Jesus, we

1330. are so excited for you. I mean, we want to come beside

1331. you and read source you and help you as you're starting your

1332. journey with Jesus. If you would just grab that

1333. connection card that's on your seat.

1334. You can fill out the information in the top section, but make

1335. sure and check that box that says I committed my life to

1336. Jesus. And you can drop that in the

1337. giving buckets as I pass here in just a few minutes.

1338. But just by doing that allows us to get you a couple of

1339. resources. The first one is a free book

1340. we'll drop in the mail to get to you.

1341. It's a short read. It's called begin, but it truly

1342. is a really good resource for you as you are taking the steps

1343. with Jesus this week. Also, if you prayed the prayer,

1344. raise your hand here at Kentucky Trail as you exit the worship

1345. center right before the doors to your left is a table with some

1346. red bags. Please, please grab one of those

1347. inside as a free Bible for you. There's a a letter from Sean

1348. with some resources that we know will just be a blessing to you

1349. this week. And hey, if you are newer with

1350. us here at real Life church, thank you so much for being here

1351. today and just choosing to spend your morning here with us, man.

1352. We don't want anything from you except just introduce yourself

1353. to us. And you can do that by grabbing

1354. that same connection card. Fill out your information there

1355. and check first time here. You can actually take that to

1356. the new here booth as you leave today outside the worship center

1357. doors. Just to your right is a new here

1358. booth. You can turn that in there.

1359. Someone will be there love to chat with you and just get you a

1360. free gift. Just our way of saying thank you

1361. so much for being here this morning and we'd love to see you

1362. back next week as well. Man.

1363. Week 2 of this message series, man, it's just got my brain

1364. going, but just reminders that you can be a difference maker.

1365. You can be an everyday difference maker through your

1366. faith and just sharing with other people how Jesus changed

1367. your life and man, through your generosity and just saying God,

1368. what do you have for me in this series?

1369. What are you asking me to do? What step of bold faith are you

1370. asking me through that to change hundreds, thousands of lives

1371. through this next chapter at Real Life Church.

1372. And we believe the best truly is yet to come.

1373. Sean had mentioned we had five people except Jesus last week.

1374. We had almost 500 this year. Maybe we're believing for

1375. thousands of people to come to know Jesus through this next

1376. chapter at Real Life Church. And you got the Difference Maker

1377. booklet, which you can look through that, answer some

1378. questions in there, take message notes in there through this

1379. series. But you also got a commitment

1380. card. And we're not like Sean said,

1381. we're not filling that out today.

1382. We're not collecting those until later in this series.

1383. But now is the time to take the card and to pray over it, to

1384. fast over it, to ask God, what part are you asking me to play?

1385. What step of bold faith are you asking me to take to be a part

1386. of this initiative? And often times, like Sean said

1387. to me, we just feel like I just don't have enough.

1388. I don't know what part I can play in this, but I was reminded

1389. as he was saying that of the new song that we sang today where it

1390. says who am I to deny what God can do?

1391. And that is so true. Who am I to deny what God can do

1392. through me saying yes and taking an act of bold faith through

1393. what He's asking me to do and what part he has for me to play?

1394. Who are we to deny what God can do through that?

1395. And so take that card and pray over it and fast over that.

1396. God, what do you have for me in this chapter at Real Life

1397. Church? Hey, if you call Real Life

1398. Church home, there are a lot of ways that you can give here.

1402. the back. You can drop cash or check in if

1403. that's more convenient for you. And hey, if you or your family

1405. clothing, shelter as the buckets pass here in just a minute,

1406. please reach in there. Just grab out any loose cash

1407. that you see. We really do want to help you

1408. this week in your time of need. Man, what an.

1409. Awesome time just to celebrate the fact that God uses the.

1410. Common God uses the ordinary God uses the broken man.

1411. I see across this room. I see a room full of difference

1412. makers. So can we get it for God one
