  1. Here I am, Here I. AM.

  2. You can have it all. You can have it all.

  3. Here I am, here I am. And you can have it all.

  4. You can have it all. Man, can we give it up for God

  5. this morning man, that simple act of saying, yes, Lord, I'm

  6. available man, we're here to give it all but has to start

  7. with our hearts and who we are before God because that's what

  8. he's really trying to capture man.

  9. He wants us to live on mission for him.

  10. So man, let's give it for God one more time.

  11. Can we man, love hearing you guys worship Hey, we have a ton

  12. of new people with us. They with this in person, can we

  13. show those people some love man? Thank you guys.

  14. If you're new with this, thank you for joining with us to

  15. worship at this gathering. Hey man, it has been so awesome.

  16. If you guys have been here for the last several months, you can

  17. just see and and feel a sense of of the spirit moving.

  18. And can I get you let you guys know something awesome.

  19. There have been 39 people commit their lives to Christ in the

  20. last three months. Isn't that awesome, man?

  21. It's why we do what we do. And so having said that, we're

  22. going to do something we've never done at this coming time

  23. of the season, we are going to do baptism on December the 28th

  24. at 10:00 in our year end social. This is a time we've never done

  25. baptism, but man, we feel that God's calling us and we want you

  26. guys to take that next step of faith because really that's what

  27. baptism is. And so if you've committed your

  28. life to Christ the last several months, your next step is

  29. baptism and baptism and we'll let you guys know more about it.

  30. But baptism is a sign, is a of a change in your life.

  31. You pass from death to life, doesn't have any salvation, but

  32. it's a public proclamation of what God's doing in your life

  33. and the story that God's writing in you.

  34. And we want to celebrate with you.

  35. So get signed up and we can't wait to celebrate with your

  36. story on December the 28th. And we do every last thing,

  37. including baptism because we are a church on a mission.

  38. And that mission is to see people farm for God, discover

  39. their real life and their purpose in Jesus.

  40. And all that means is this is that man, Satan wrecks people's

  41. lives. And we know that God repairs

  42. him. God restores him, and he needs a

  43. community to do that in or he chooses to use the community to

  44. do that in. And that's why we're here.

  45. We get to see people come in, come in broken and destroyed,

  46. and not know what to do next and walk out completely different

  47. people with a family, with a purpose, with their God and

  48. Jesus in their hearts. And so it is so cool to see that

  49. week in and week out. And that's why we exist.

  50. So we're so glad that you're here with us today.

  51. We're in the we're in the the home stretch of what has been

  52. the most powerful series that we've ever done here in real

  53. life. It's called difference maker.

  54. For the last eight years that we've existed, God has used this

  55. community, this gathering to bring hope and transformation to

  56. so many people's lives. But God doesn't call us to the

  57. status quo, does he? Church?

  58. And he calls us to do something bigger and better and to lean

  59. into what he's got for us since the next season.

  60. And so that's what we've been talking about the last several

  61. weeks about not a building initiative, but a building a

  62. movement. And so today we're going to step

  63. into this last week of difference maker.

  64. And I want you guys to really lean in.

  65. And I want you guys to think of yourself as personally being

  66. involved because that is the truth.

  67. Every last person. I don't care what seat you're

  68. sitting in, have the role to make a difference where you're

  69. at and wherever you go. And so today we are going to

  70. lean into that. And so I can't wait to see what

  71. God does with your lives and your generosity and your

  72. sacrifice to change to the next generation, to bring a hope and

  73. transformation. So take this opportunity, put

  74. your hands together as Pastor Sean comes up for Difference

  75. Maker. Good morning, guys.

  76. Welcome to Commitment Sunday. I thought it would be.

  77. It's going to be good. This is like a holy moment in

  78. our church. And by the time today's over,

  79. you're going to feel it and you're going to experience man,

  80. we're doing something so big together for God to step out of

  81. faith. Before we jump in, couple

  82. things. Want to celebrate number one,

  83. last week, 15 kids, nine families dedicated to the Lord,

  84. Amen. Give it up big for those

  85. families. Super exciting.

  86. Last week was amazing. We had 306 people in person,

  87. which is a really, really amazing number for us.

  88. But if you think about over last year, that's actually 34% higher

  89. than the same Sunday last year, which is significant.

  90. Amen. But what's really cool is we had

  91. six people that raised their hand and said yes to Jesus last

  92. Sunday. So give it for those people.

  93. It's fun just being a part, a little small part of the story

  94. that God is writing. And the way this happens is by

  95. you guys investing and going out with the gospel, just

  96. encouraging people, meeting people they're AT.

  97. And sometimes it's a small act that makes a big difference.

  98. And I want to share a story and it's a story of Toby.

  99. I don't know if Toby is in here. If you're in here, Toby.

  100. No, no, didn't make it to the first yet.

  101. OK, well, Toby came out yesterday to our real life men's

  102. ministry, which was one that's one year anniversary of real

  103. life men's, by the way, which is really, really cool.

  104. And yeah, give it up for that. That's fantastic.

  105. It's cool getting just guys together for Jesus, man, that

  106. power. But I met Toby yesterday.

  107. He shared how he came to real life and he said he saw one of

  108. those yard signs and he was on a walk.

  109. And I was like, man, that's really cool.

  110. So I started talking a little more and he's telling me how he

  111. got on the walk and he's trying out different churches.

  112. And, you know, you kind of felt like, man, you know, I just got

  113. to find something that God leads me to.

  114. And he just saw the yard sign. He took a picture of the QR,

  115. went to the website. Man, it felt good.

  116. And yesterday he sat at a table and he was sitting with Drew.

  117. And I don't know what Drew said to him, but he's probably trying

  118. to figure out which yard sign this is.

  119. He's shaking and said, yes. He's like, where's that yard

  120. sign at, man? He's like, I think sunset is

  121. that. Yeah.

  122. And Drew's like, well, I think that's, that's my yard sign.

  123. You're welcome. You know, and it had a great

  124. conversation with Drew and it's just cool I put together.

  125. So afterwards I'm talking a little more and I said I didn't

  126. know the whole story. And he told about Drew and

  127. stuff. And he says really cool cuz I

  128. signed up like man, I want to plan my visit.

  129. And I started texting this lady holiday and we're texting back

  130. and forth and blah, blah, blah. I said, you want me to blow your

  131. mind real quick. Holly's married to Drew and

  132. that's their sign. Is that amazing, Amen.

  133. Just how God does some small act, you just never know.

  134. And so introverts love it. I'll encourage you to grab a

  135. sign like you just don't know. It's scattering out like the

  136. world needs to Jesus, Amen. And we forget as the people of

  137. God like how good we have it, like we have the presence of God

  138. and the Holy Spirit of God. And there's people that are on

  139. the verge of giving up on their life, on their family and just

  140. trying to find the next step. And we just put a sign out is

  141. the simplest thing we could do. But more importantly, we can

  142. just invite them to Jesus, Amen? Like we got to recognize that

  143. people aren't what they seem and we need to help them in their

  144. hurting, in their pain, their loss.

  145. And so we get the opportunity to be a salt and light to a lost

  146. and dying world, Amen. And so this was all difference

  147. makers really about, it's about souls.

  148. It's about making a bigger impact together than any one of

  149. us can do by ourselves. And so we've been in the series.

  150. This is our 6th week and kind of a quick recap through all the

  151. weeks. We start out with a message

  152. called This is the Moment. This is our moment.

  153. And we talked about Joshua and Caleb.

  154. You guys remember them. They want to step into the

  155. promised land and they were the some of the spies and they're

  156. only two full of faith. And they said, yes, we can

  157. because God just took us to the Red Sea.

  158. He didn't bring us this far to quit on us.

  159. So let's go in. And of course they didn't.

  160. But eventually they did. And God honored their

  161. faithfulness and just the how how we should have bold faith

  162. like them. And I don't remember that story

  163. because it's come full circle later day.

  164. Then we stepped into a message called Everyday difference

  165. makers. That was maybe 1 of the

  166. favorites, right? Just one small act of faith can

  167. change the community and change people.

  168. Talk about Rahab, we talked about Andrew, invited Simon to

  169. to meet Jesus. We shared stories in our church.

  170. I think we've even talked about some signs and how people came

  171. to our churches from a sign and made a difference.

  172. We talked about message the third week called Motivated by

  173. Faith. We talked about David and how he

  174. was counting on his own ability. He counted the sin census of all

  175. his people. So I'm going to try to slide

  176. that around, you hear me? Like blow into the mic.

  177. It's great. But he had this sin census.

  178. He was kind of his own ability instead of counting on God's

  179. power and God's ability and he humbled himself.

  180. He was broken when the Angel came down.

  181. He humbled himself and he bought that threshing floor of Verona.

  182. He said this is going to be the holy holies.

  183. This is the presence of God. I no longer counted myself, but

  184. I'm going to count on God himself.

  185. The 4th week about ready fire, aim man this that.

  186. We're not always going to be ready, but we should always be

  187. willing. And how Abraham was called to a

  188. place he didn't know, but he stepped out on faith.

  189. And we talked about Joshua again, where he stepped out to

  190. cross the Jordan and how people have to go first, be willing to

  191. get their feet wet, Amen. Somebody has to step.

  192. And that's what today's going to turn into.

  193. Last week, we had a just amazing day, just story after story

  194. after story after story of their forever.

  195. Like, you know, you think about a building, we get fixated on

  196. where and how much and when and all the details and all these

  197. little things. But ultimately, the building's a

  198. tool and we should be fixated on souls.

  199. Amen. She fixated on what God can do

  200. through a space fixated on our community, on a lost and dying

  201. world. And you guys heard those stories

  202. in the morning and we had no thing in the evening heard even

  203. more stories. But this there forever.

  204. And I'll say before we jump in today, thank you guys who have

  205. been fasting it it it is totally behind the scenes.

  206. But I believe the power God has unleashed through that.

  207. And so for some of you guys have been faithful to do that and he

  208. made a commitment to the Lord and I pray that God's been

  209. speaking through through that. There's always a purpose of

  210. fasting. We talk about Jehoshaphat and he

  211. fasted that they're they would be rescued from their enemy and

  212. everyone was killed as they praised God give thanks to the

  213. Lord for his love endures forever.

  214. And the enemy slaughtered each other right And they just took

  215. the plunder like that's what they fast for Esther, she fasted

  216. for freedom that they'd Edith would go away and they'd be

  217. saved. I was reminded of Isaiah.

  218. They fasted and they took what they were going to give to the

  219. poor or for themselves, and they gave it to the poor and they

  220. fast on purpose. And I've been fasting with Diane

  221. for the last few weeks, like intentionally fasting, which it,

  222. it, it really, honestly, I think Diane likes to eat in the

  223. morning. And I'm like, I could eat like

  224. at 5:00 at night. So I was like, I could do this

  225. forever, you know, And Diane's like, I'm going to die, you

  226. know. So I think next time she's like,

  227. we're going to go noon to midnight.

  228. So anyway, we've been fascinated.

  229. We've been asking God like, do a move, like help us find that

  230. space, Lord, let's move together as one.

  231. Like, let's just be the church that's just so bold, that's so

  232. courageous, that can accomplish great things that only you can

  233. do. We're just asking you, Lord, to

  234. make a move. And this we've been asking the

  235. Lord for the last few weeks. And so it's really that

  236. question, Lord, what would you have me to do?

  237. And so I'll lead you to church. What does it look like to step

  238. out in the faith together? Like how do we do this?

  239. Like what does it look like for us as one big body of Christ to

  240. step with a move of faith? And so we're going to look

  241. through Scripture. It's going to be in First

    1 Chronicles 28 chapter mention

  242. Chronicles chapter 28. It says this King David rose to

  243. his feet and said, you have to keep in mind he had all these

  244. leaders around him, all of his around him.

  245. He said, listen to me, my fellow Israelites, my people.

  246. I had it in my what? What's it say?

  247. He had in his heart like he had a dream, like he had a vision,

  248. like he had a godly burning desire to accomplish something

  249. great for God. And he said, I want to build a

  250. house as a place of what? What's it say?

  251. Yeah, I want to build a house for the Ark of the Covenant as a

  252. place of rest. Like he, he wanted a permanent

  253. place. Like he wanted a permanent home

  254. instead of going to the tent. He wanted a place where the

  255. glory of God could go out to all humanity.

  256. And so I want to build a house, a place to rest for the Ark of

  257. the Covenant. Remember the Ark of the

  258. Covenant? We talked about this quite a

  259. bit. It's it's this, it's this the

  260. ark inside of it has the 10 commandments.

  261. It has the staff of Moses and it has the man of bread in a jar.

  262. And it's God's presence and it represents God's power and God's

  263. provision. And on top of those angels and

  264. they face each other. And then the leader of Israel

  265. would go in front of this mercy seat is what they called it.

  266. And they hear from God. But this is the place where God

  267. would speak to them. And even David said for the

  268. footstool of our God, like I want to build a place of rest,

  269. the Ark of Covenant of the Lord for a footstool of our God.

  270. I think that's just so special because it's like the place

  271. where God is stepping into humanity.

  272. Like this is where the presence of God was and the power of God

  273. was. And God spoke to the leadership

  274. and he want to make it accessible for every single

  275. person that God could step in to our world.

  276. And you find that all throughout the Old Testament that the

  277. centerpiece of what was to follow God was the Holy of

  278. holies, where the Ark of the Covenant was at.

  279. And that is everything revolved around it.

  280. And so he says this about he was so passionate about it.

  281. He said, I made what very end of the verse.

  282. I made plans to what to build it.

  283. He he made plans. He, he, he stayed up at night

  284. like he'd even shared this vision with anybody else.

  285. He literally was wrestling with God and the Holy Spirit.

  286. And he, he made plans like he had desire and passion and he

  287. put pen to paper or pen to parchment or whatever, right?

  288. And he drew up this vision of what God had for God's presence

  289. to be permanently accessible to all humanity.

  290. And the reason I'm so passionate about it because Saul, his

  291. predecessor, was actually killed for not going into God's

  292. presence and David had neglected it for 30 years.

  293. He he got comfortable. He wasn't at God's mercy seats

  294. out of brokenness and humility. He was no longer content with a

  295. tent Amen. He was no longer like this is

  296. it? This is as good as it gets.

  297. I've got my awesome house. I got my dream.

  298. I got all these things. He looked out and said, Lord,

  299. I've totally missed it. There's something far better for

  300. my life. There's something greater that I

  301. should, I don't know, Like if the word sacrifice is the right

  302. word, it should just be called an honor to give to God.

  303. Like it's no longer a sacrifice. Because I'm so humbled, Lord,

  304. that you just use anything of mine and he just humbles himself

  305. and he lays it down for God, no longer content with the ark of

  306. the covenant is just floating in a tent around.

  307. And he wanted to God's presence. He wanted to elevate his power

  308. and his provision to a lost and dying world.

  309. So he made plans. And it's really unique.

  310. And I caught this last week in a prayer actually, because Barry

  311. Barry was praying and I, I listened to this prayer and I

  312. thought it was really good. He just made this point as he

  313. prayed. But it's unique because in the

  314. Old Testament, when Moses built a Tabernacle in Exodus 32, God

  315. told Moses like everything. Like, he gave him a blueprint,

  316. like make it this long, this high, it should look exactly

  317. like this. He gave them all the details of

  318. what to do. But when the temple was built,

  319. God's not go to David and say, here's the blueprint of the

  320. temple. He didn't give him a plan.

  321. He didn't give him all the pieces and how this should work.

  322. What God did is he was waiting for a man no different than any

  323. of us to have the boldness and the courage and the faith to

  324. dream of what that would look like.

  325. And then the Holy Spirit says met with David and he designed

  326. and made plans for the temple. That's pretty amazing.

  327. Amen. That the God was like waiting to

  328. get more worship because it's one thing for God to do it, but

  329. it's another thing for us to say, God, you can do it.

  330. And he's waiting for us like step into this vision and to

  331. give God more glory and more devotion from his people.

  332. And David, when he made plans, he made extravagant plans.

  333. We are not making these plants. He lined the House of the temple

  334. with gold. You didn't walk in and there was

  335. wood. You don't use no pine.

  336. Come on, somebody. Right.

  337. I mean, he took what was built and then he covered it with gold

  338. and silver. It just like the vision he had

  339. was so grand. They called it a palatial

  340. structure. Like, I've never met somebody

  341. that had that kind of vision. I've seen a lot of vision, but

  342. that is a whole nother level, the architecture and the

  343. details. Have you ever seen it or thought

  344. about? What he did is absolutely

  345. amazing and he gave him a desire.

  346. Now I'll tell you behind the scenes, we've been making plans,

  347. Amen. We've been dreaming.

  348. We we, we know like, hey, we're not going to be portable

  349. forever. We've been sitting in board

  350. meetings and leadership meetings.

  351. I said, Lord, what would it look like for us to have a permanent

  352. space? And there's lots of factors,

  353. right? You can look at costs and this

  354. and that, but it's like, what could we do?

  355. And so we started dreaming and started looking at different

  356. designs and we sat at the Hope Center with our board and we

  357. flipped through like, what could look like this and how could

  358. look like that? And we came up just the

  359. different drawings and ideas, none of which we know the Lord,

  360. like that's what the Lord's going to give us, but just to

  361. dream, right? And so I'll just throw up like

  362. this is something we looked at as a board.

  363. I don't know, eight months ago more we said this would be cool.

  364. Now we have no idea. Like if that's it, we know this

  365. isn't the picture, right? So don't take a picture and fall

  366. in love with it. Amen.

  367. But we just started looking like, man, they could seat those

  368. people. And this, oh man, last week we

  369. were at church Four Corners. We had this advance commitment

  370. night. We took some of our leaders, our

  371. staff, our elders, our team board members, and we just got

  372. together and said let's go 1st. And it was amazing because we

  373. met in a permanent home at a different church, right?

  374. And I don't know about you, but eight years in, we've gotten

  375. really comfortable and portable. We got real comfortable.

  376. Like you come in, you got your seat.

  377. I noticed you guys sit in the same seats, by the way.

  378. Hey, man, you could be a missionary in your own church.

  379. You just go front to back and you can hang out with the

  380. visitors, right? Or the church heathens.

  381. I'm just kidding. We love you Baptist, right?

  382. Or you can move seats. You can meet some neighbors,

  383. right? You can hang with people.

  384. But we just get really in a routine and we get kind of used

  385. to like, oh, that is pipe and drape.

  386. And it was great last week. We had child dedication.

  387. Maybe it's right here. Yep.

  388. Maybe it's here. Oh, this is it.

  389. This is it, right here. I was literally with a mom.

  390. She was carrying her, her daughter right here.

  391. This is it. Oh, yeah.

  392. And we had came over to pray over her.

  393. And this is literally what she said.

  394. Is this stage in the collapse. Lord bless you and keep you.

  395. May his face shine upon you. And you know, anyway, we get

  396. really comfortable with that, don't we?

  397. Like the bands, Like just don't step on that part of the stage.

  398. You know, we get like how it is, you know, and you kind of get

  399. used to like the dysfunction. Like they put stuff in the

  400. closet and, you know, it's just not what God's calls to do.

  401. Amen. But it's really cool at church

  402. Four Corners because I was just watching the team and, and you

  403. can just look, it was like this. It was like, wow, this is pretty

  404. cool, man. Like you just see it in their

  405. eyes. Like they're picking things up.

  406. They're kind of opening doors. They're just watching.

  407. And it's just you can see like the lights flick on like, OK,

  408. we've been missing a lot. Like we got, we got used to like

  409. the tent, like we got used to the rickety put it together.

  410. Like it's just comfortable now it's it's convenient, like, and

  411. if you're not set up and tearing down, like it's real convenient,

  412. you know? But has the Lord called us to

  413. more like, are we going to be status quo or we're going to

  414. say, Lord, we want to be a permanent place for God's glory

  415. to go out into not just our community, but around the world.

  416. And that's the decision that we get to make today together.

  417. Because here's what's really cool about David's vision.

  418. It's way bigger than himself. And David was extremely wealthy

  419. and his vision, he could not fund his own vision.

  420. And so for us, it's for the people that aren't here yet.

  421. It's it's for a world that needs Jesus.

  422. We don't have to over complicate this, Amen.

  423. I think just all step out on face together.

  424. Like if one of us is like, ah, it's cool, I'll see what they

  425. do. I think we've, we've missed it.

  426. Like I think it's going to take all of us to step into what

  427. God's asking us to do. And I think God just sees our

  428. faith and he just opens opportunity like whatever is

  429. going to happen is not from us. Like I'm just going to tell you

  430. straight up it, it cannot be and should not be from us.

  431. It's from the Lord, Amen. We just we're giving to Lord,

  432. we're trusting Lord. I want you to see how David

  433. shared his vision and really his plan to fund the vision.

  434. And so in First Chronicles 29 two, he says this with all my

  435. resources I have provided for the temple of my God, and this

  436. is what we provided. This is like from, you know, the

  437. business or from collection from other wars he's won, right?

  438. He said gold for gold works, silver for silver, bronze for

  439. bronze, iron for iron, wood for wood as well as Onyx for

  440. settings, turquoise stones of various colors, all kinds of

  441. fine stone, marble and all these and what?

  442. Yeah, large quantities. Like he just took out the

  443. business, you know, like I'm just going to give that in large

  444. quantities. Besides, in my devotion to the

  445. temple of my God, I now give my, what's it say?

  446. His what? His personal treasures.

  447. They do something very special as a man and woman of God, when

  448. you get personal, well, it's not like, oh, I'll just take from

  449. here or like I'll watch them else do it.

  450. But David is going to give out of his own personal wealth and

  451. he gives gold and he gives silver for the temple of God.

  452. He says over and above everything I've provided for the

  453. simple, I've already given out of the business, I'm just going

  454. to give out of myself. And he says there's 3000 towns

  455. of gold, gold from Ophir. Now, the Ophir was like the

  456. finest gold of the day. This is like the the nicest gold

  457. you could ever find in the ancient history.

  458. He says also 7000 talents of refined silver.

  459. This isn't just like lame silver.

  460. This is the best silver, right? Like you don't be purified.

  461. It's already purified. He didn't give his leftovers.

  462. Amen. He gave his very finest things

  463. for the temple. It says for the overland

  464. overlaying of the walls. Now I don't have that kind of

  465. vision. Hey, man, he's going to overlay

  466. the walls with gold and silver. It's amazing of the building for

  467. the gold work and the silver work and for all the work to be

  468. done by the Craftsman. You think about this, David went

  469. first, Amen. Like David had the vision, David

  470. heard from God, David drove the plans and he's been behind the

  471. scenes going, Lord, how can we do this?

  472. Lord, I'm going to trust you with this.

  473. And he stepped out on faith 1st. And if you think about this, I

  474. did the math on the number, like what he actually gave towards

  475. the temple, and it's just shy of $14 billion towards the temple.

  476. Now, if Envy has $14 billion, today's the day.

  477. But it's really not about the money.

  478. Like David doesn't say it so you can match his wealth.

  479. He says it so you can see his sacrifice because David took it

  480. personal. David took it personal what God

  481. was calling him to do and he invites everybody else to take

  482. it personal with him. He says now and ask this

  483. question, who is willing to what consecrate themselves to the

  484. Lord today? And when you say consecrate

  485. yourself to the Lord, that means to give yourself fully to the

  486. Lord. If you said you'd consecrate

  487. yourself to the Lord and you gave half of of yourself that,

  488. that's not what that means. It, it doesn't mean like, I'm

  489. going to sit back and I'm going to see what everybody else is

  490. going to do and then we maybe get there.

  491. It doesn't mean like, well, I'm going to hold on to this and

  492. then somebody else can make up for that.

  493. It means, Lord, what what would look like for us to fully give

  494. ourselves to this divine purpose?

  495. And that's what David's asking all of all of his leaders and

  496. all of Israel. Will you fully concert yourself

  497. to Lord in faith, not to match the gift, but to match the

  498. faith? And David took this bold step of

  499. faith. Why did he ask all these people

  500. to give? It's because even David is

  501. wealth and everything he had with $14 billion, he still

  502. couldn't reach the vision and the desire that God had for the

  503. temple. It was outside of his own

  504. ability. Amen.

  505. That's where it takes faith. He asked them to go together.

  506. And I would say for us as well, the vision is way outside of my

  507. reach, but it's not outside of ours.

  508. Amen. It's outside of mine.

  509. It's way beyond my ability, but it's not outside of the ability

  510. of God. And God uses all of us and all

  511. of us is what the big key point is.

  512. It's not that we match gifts, it's that we match faith.

  513. And so I'm inspired by this. I've read this passage and I'm

  514. like, OK, Lord, like, well, I'm the David in the story, right?

  515. Like I'm called to go first. I'm called to sacrifice, I'm

  516. called to lead. And so at the risk of making it

  517. really awkward for, for a church, and I don't know if

  518. there's a good thing or a bad thing, but I'm going to go with

  519. it. I'm going to tell you my number.

  520. But the reason I'm telling my number is not.

  521. So you go look, look at Sean. And for somebody to go, man,

  522. that's big and somebody to go, that's it.

  523. That's not the point of the number.

  524. Amen. The, the point of the number is

  525. to recognize this number is a sacrificial number.

  526. Like when this will change, like our lives, this will change what

  527. we can't afford, what we don't buy, what we do buy, it'll be

  528. the largest check by far. We write every single month it

  529. it will change. They'll delay things in our

  530. life. They'll be avenues we can't go

  531. down for a season because we're trusting God.

  532. And so by faith, like we started out with our card and of course

  533. we're like David, we've known about this for quite a while and

  534. we've been praying on our card and we started out at 50,000.

  535. It's OK that, that, that's a that's excel sheet number for

  536. us, right? Like that's, that's the stretch,

  537. but we can do it. And we're like, well, maybe we

  538. can get 75, you know, like 75 that that that could happen.

  539. Like that take some acts of God that we can get there.

  540. And we finally settled on right after Halloween, we settled on

  541. $100,000 and we said, Lord, we're going to commit this.

  542. Now. I don't know how exactly.

  543. Like if you said, Sean, how's that going to happen?

  544. I could tell you like about how 2/3 maybe happen, but I know

  545. what God's going to provide because I've been here before

  546. like this in the first time that I've gone all in on Jesus and

  547. seen him take care of it. And when I look at the future of

  548. what God's going to do, I mean, maybe I'm a spiritual gold

  549. digger, but I'm going to look back and be like I sowed some

  550. major seed in that. Like I saw what God did.

  551. Like the glory of God that goes out through our church from here

  552. on. There'll be some part of it that

  553. I can go. Thank you, Jesus, I got to play

  554. just a small part of the story. Amen.

  555. Now when I say the number, whatever number you give is the

  556. number between you and the Lord. Amen.

  557. But here's what you do. I'm going to match.

  558. I don't want you to match my number.

  559. I want you to match my faith. I want you to match my faith.

  560. I want you to look at me and say if you know what I made of this

  561. church, some of y'all know because you're on the board,

  562. right? I mean, you're like, dude,

  563. that's a big number for somebody.

  564. That's a stretch. And I don't want you to think

  565. like that Macedonian church that just ground the everything they

  566. could and then it exceeded with their own ability.

  567. And then Paul took their number and took it to court.

  568. They said, listen, guys, there's these gentiles.

  569. They're not even from the Jewish custom at all.

  570. Don't know anything about this. And they went all in and they

  571. went beyond they even really do match their faith.

  572. There's a man last Thursday. I was so moved by him.

  573. His name is Johnny. He's a he's just playing to the

  574. church him and his buddy and recovery church independence.

  575. They deal with 12 step program tie tie to Jesus.

  576. This is just, they're trying to take addicts and help them find

  577. God and it's amazing. And they're like just, I mean,

  578. everything you don't say at church, you should say at

  579. church. They say it's all salty.

  580. It's not polished. It's just what it is.

  581. I'm like, dude, this is so awesome.

  582. You know, any committed to give to this church planting group in

  583. Kansas City called New Thing, which is very significant.

  584. We give as our church to them. And I know behind the scenes how

  585. many churches really give and there's probably about six that

  586. give the new thing in Kansas City.

  587. And for him to step up doesn't literally just start a church

  588. two months ago and they committed 50 bucks a month.

  589. Well, you know what? That's 50 bucks a month that

  590. there's other mega churches that aren't committing anything.

  591. And he stepped out and he's like, I'm giving him 50.

  592. And he's like, and he asked him, why are you doing that?

  593. He goes, well, because when somebody helps you out, don't

  594. you do like, you know, believe in it and go, There's just like

  595. not even a question that he would just go.

  596. And I told the guys on Thursday, I said, listen, we don't need to

  597. match his gift. We need to match his faith,

  598. Amen, Because he believes in what God can do through this

  599. group. And if you've been fed by that

  600. or fed by our church or made an impact like you've, you've

  601. experienced God through a church, you just kind of feed

  602. the thing that feeds you, Amen. Like you said, God, what can you

  603. do? And it is a step of faith for

  604. yourself personally as well to see what the Lord can do.

  605. And so just think about like what it looked like to our Lord,

  606. what you have. And I believe the goal today is

  607. 100% participation. It's not the it's not the amount

  608. because we're all going to different amounts, right?

  609. And some of you are going to be that spot.

  610. And I'm that spot too. I wish I could do more.

  611. I mean, honestly, if I could write a bigger number, I'd write

  612. a bigger number. Like I just want to do it as I

  613. could afford the whole thing I'd do right now, I would just do

  614. it. But it's bigger than any one

  615. person. Amen.

  616. So I'm just asking you guys humbly locking arms to the Lord

  617. and matching the faith and sowing some seeds for eternity.

  618. This will happen when David presented this to them, they

  619. said then the leaders of the families is verse 6 and the

  620. office of the tribes of Israel, the commanders of thousands,

  621. commanders of hundreds officials in charge of the King's work.

  622. It says gave how willingly they're just moved like if David

  623. is going to give 14 billion and he's passionate about the Lord's

  624. in this come behind it. And they just went and says they

  625. gave toward the work of the temple of God 5000 talents of

  626. and 10,000 talents or thousand darkest of gold, 10,000 talents

  627. of silver, 18,000 talents of bronze, 100,000 talents of iron.

  628. And anyone had precious stones just gave them to the treasure

  629. of the temple of the Lord in a custody of Jahil the the

  630. Gershonite. I mean, it's going to take all

  631. of us, Amen. And his people just gave what

  632. they had. Like you can't give what you

  633. don't have, Amen. Like no one's asking, like to

  634. like just go some crazy thing that make no sense.

  635. But like, look and say, Lord of my honoring youth, What, what,

  636. what I've got the vision is inside our reach.

  637. If we all move together as one, there's something special.

  638. I was reminded of this week as well, that when when you give to

  639. God, it shifts your heart. And it was best said this way.

  640. If you want to be close to God, then start with your giving

  641. because where you're giving is and your treasure is then your

  642. heart is also. It will just be there.

  643. Like I don't know if you've like invested in something or someone

  644. or something, or maybe it's a stock.

  645. All of a sudden you have a lot of interest in it.

  646. All of a sudden you start really tracking Bitcoin or way Amazon

  647. or whatever you're in, right, Berkshire Hathaway and them

  648. selling all these pieces as he retires, right?

  649. You're like, what's going on with this?

  650. And when you give to the Lord, your heart just next to the

  651. Lord. And I want you to just

  652. understand how significant it was because last Sunday night we

  653. had a group went together. I'm going to show a highlight

  654. video here in a second and was really cool because at the end

  655. of the day, we all met up, had a social and hung out and the

  656. energy and the momentum and the heart was like, we just

  657. relaunched our church and God's going to do something so

  658. significant. I'm so excited to play a part of

  659. it. There's no doubt their heart was

  660. like right there with the Lord. So I want you to check out this

  661. video and just see the heartbeat of our people that night from

  662. basically nothing. And you saw the story of how

  663. church reporters has blessed us and they just did this stuff out

  664. of nowhere. Somebody that's kind of been

  665. here for the whole time. Like what's your thoughts and

  666. feelings for tonight? We're trying to accomplish with

  667. the building it. Was kind of just a moment for me

  668. and God to kind of like reflect on like what I've seen real life

  669. start as to where we are now. Not a moment just between me and

  670. God to really just give it to the Lord.

  671. I gave a number even bigger than I was like expecting to, but it

  672. was kind of just like this moment where it's like God,

  673. you're going to use it. The four corners Church of the

  674. corners jump in on that with their own like December thing

  675. that they're doing for the next two years.

  676. That was even even cooler because it was like people that

  677. are just coming alongside us watching what we're doing and

  678. they were like push us and they're we're sitting on their.

  679. Shoulders it's our baby what they did 2. .5% of all giving

  680. for this December and next December is going to our

  681. Difference Maker initiative. And that's huge.

  682. That is huge. That is, you got to figure what

  683. they're it's. It is a generous act.

  684. Yeah, for them to do that in December, which is the largest

  685. month of giving in any church, is beyond generous.

  686. I watched earlier you getting emotional like, what's up?

  687. What's what was God showing you? I just keep saying like today

  688. has just been so overwhelming to be here from the beginning till

  689. now. God has been so good to us.

  690. We came to real life out of a season of her and I was almost

  691. saying no, like I didn't give up on God.

  692. I really had given up on people. And so to see that the way that

  693. it's made a difference in our lives and to see just how's just

  694. the impact that God is going to use and make through our church,

  695. just saying yes and being obedient and not even knowing

  696. how we're going to get $1.9 million, but believing and

  697. trusting in God. Basically tonight you played a

  698. huge part of it. Run the whole event behind the

  699. scenes. What do you got to show you like

  700. with Faith tonight? It's really funny because when

  701. this whole like conversation just initially started, I had a

  702. really big number that God had given me and Jared was not on

  703. board with said number, and tonight we actually came right

  704. at that number. How encouraging is it?

  705. Just have everybody together. Oh, I think it's awesome,

  706. especially the leadership because we got, we need to lead

  707. out to show the people what to do to see for this group of

  708. people in the heart of the people.

  709. So tonight's post tonight, Vince Kittman, I obviously lean this

  710. for a long time. See what God's going to do.

  711. What did God say to you tonight? Like what?

  712. What do you show you? To be uncomfortable, to step out

  713. and to actually change the number that we came in with, We

  714. made that change. So we had that moment where we

  715. already had a number and God was like, Nope, that's not big

  716. enough. So that was huge.

  717. That's amazing. So what?

  718. What did God say to you in that moment?

  719. I felt like God was saying you can do better than that.

  720. Wow. It brought it all home to me.

  721. It made it feel special. It made it feel like this isn't

  722. just us being a part of giving to our church, but it's a part

  723. of the big capital city church and like what we're really in.

  724. Pulling you back to the fact that it's not just real life

  725. that's making something happen right now.

  726. It's the it's the universal church as a whole.

  727. And we're like really going in with our brothers and sisters in

  728. Christ that want to see us succeed.

  729. Because I know that it's all for the the forevers of the people

  730. in our city that we're trying to affect.

  731. Just seeing the passion from you and others willing to give love

  732. what they actually could. Yeah.

  733. And that's very encouraging. God, it can leave you more than

  734. what we ever imagined. We've been talking about a

  735. building, we've been looking, we've been exploring on the

  736. board and I'm excited. I mean, just coming into this

  737. space tonight as a real estate agent too, I'm like, I'm ready

  738. to make some some sweet offers and since the right space.

  739. So if you say something to a generation or a group, people

  740. are like, kind of struggling to step out on faith.

  741. Like what would you encourage him?

  742. Live on the unexpected. Like don't always just be so

  743. focused on what you expect to be coming the next paycheck, But

  744. like what is God expecting and how is he expecting to move?

  745. Take that leap of faith. God's going to honor it.

  746. Whatever number you have on like your heart, like that's your God

  747. number. It's not your particular like AU

  748. number. It's it's your God number.

  749. And that's the uncomfortable number.

  750. So step out and faith on it. Think about where where you

  751. could end up and think about the church that the building, the

  752. people that you could impact. Just finding that, you know,

  753. money under the couch and the couch cushions, cutting that

  754. coffee out, the little things that you could do to try to make

  755. an impact so that we can have a permanent space to affect the

  756. community. You can come in with a number,

  757. but really just let God move in and move your heart and give you

  758. that number. And I really just think it's

  759. trust him. He's going to provide for you.

  760. So go big. I'd always just say go big or go

  761. home baby. Yeah.

  762. Cool, Amen. Go God.

  763. It was it's fun just hearing the stories.

  764. Like I was surprised, like how much power and unity just in the

  765. conversation I had and how many people said I came with a

  766. number, but the Lord showed me a different number.

  767. And so I just crossed that out and said I'm I'm going to try

  768. something different. Like I'm going to step out on

  769. faith. And it's amazing.

  770. Like this is the response they had here in the Bible.

  771. In verse 9 says the people rejoice at the willing response

  772. to their leaders, for they'd given freely and wholeheartedly

  773. to the Lord, Amen. And then David the king also

  774. rejoiced greatly. It makes me excited that our

  775. Staffs behind it, our elders behind it, our boards behind it,

  776. our leaders behind it, Amen. Like they're all behind it.

  777. They want to see God do something very special.

  778. And this is a very special night of moving by faith.

  779. And so this what happened down the road when they actually

  780. built the temple. This is really cool.

  781. So you got to Fast forward like David, he's going to pass away.

  782. He's going to hand the man thought to Solomon to build the

  783. temple. And they do build it.

  784. And this is what it says when they opened it in Second

  785. Chronicles 7 verse one, it says when Solomon finished praying,

  786. it's like the dedication of the temple.

  787. It says fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt

  788. offering and the sacrifices and the what held me out.

  789. The glory Lord filled the temple.

  790. Is that a holy moment? That's one of those moments

  791. you're like, I'm so glad I sowed some seeds for the glory of the

  792. Lord and his presence to come fill this place.

  793. I'm just going to tell you like those guys that like didn't that

  794. might be a bummer. You look at that moment like I

  795. wish I would have pirate probably the story.

  796. I do believe there's going to be a time in real life's life like

  797. where God puts us in the building and you're going to go

  798. thank you Jesus. That played a part of the story

  799. that I sowed seeds in the impact, not just in my life, but

  800. in generations and people to come that the glory of the Lord

  801. can go out through our church to a lost and dying world.

  802. Amen. That's division.

  803. That's what that's what I see. That's why I believe.

  804. And it's like a proud moment, you know, like go God and like

  805. every person that gets saved from that time on and every

  806. person getting baptized and every person that has a marriage

  807. is healed or comes off drugs or the light goes out as we send

  808. people to get scattered out. Every yard sign and somebody

  809. comes in and just hears about Jesus.

  810. By the way, I saw Toby come in at the end.

  811. He, he made it. Toby, give it up for Toby.

  812. By the way, we told your story. You have to go back and watch it

  813. a little bit. Thank you, Jesus, for a sign.

  814. Amen. But that's just the small part

  815. we get to play today. And it is so amazing to do it

  816. together because now all of a sudden there's expectation that

  817. God can and will move, and He does.

  818. And so then I'm actually doing something very special.

  819. I'm actually doing something that's physical but represents

  820. something spiritual. On your chair.

  821. There's a commitment card and I just want to kind of walk

  822. through it because it can be a little confusing.

  823. OK, so just let me go through it one more time.

  824. Make sure you understand it. On the back of the card is

  825. different types of gifts that we believe that we'll need to reach

  826. our one point million dollar goal over 2 years.

  827. Now remember the first 900,000 is really our budget.

  828. The second part, that million will go to that space.

  829. OK, so you can look at that chart and you know, like me and

  830. Diane, we started a number and we're like, Lord, what about the

  831. next level? What about the next level?

  832. And say what would look like potentially, Lord, for me to

  833. step in a different number Now on the inside, OK, so you won't

  834. pay attention to this a little bit.

  835. OK, please fill all the way out. It will really be helpful.

  836. But on the top, this is like your first box is your annual

  837. giving. OK.

  838. So whatever number you normally give in the course of a year,

  839. that's your number and hopefully you know that number has been

  840. given, you're right. But fill that number in and that

  841. next line is expanded giving. So that expansion is really what

  842. will go towards our first permanent home.

  843. That that first number is really just our normal ministry fund.

  844. But that second number is like that's the number that's above

  845. and beyond that's going to help us get in that space.

  846. That's really the number that you're going towards that

  847. million, if that makes sense. And then if you multiply by two,

  848. you can add them together, multiply 2, you get that box

  849. down there. So I'll see your phone's out on

  850. that one, right? And then this next line is a

  851. line that if you have the ability to not we all can,

  852. that's OK. But stored resources, you might

  853. have the ability to have stock, you might have requirement

  854. distributions. We can take stock.

  855. By the way, we're connected to the different opportunities

  856. through overflow to manage stock or sell and put it in their own

  857. stuff. You might have savings, It might

  858. be some kind of CD you, you might be thinking through like,

  859. OK, two years of tax returns. I usually hopefully, Lord Jesus,

  860. right, I get that. You might have an investment,

  861. you might have an inheritance, you might have an asset, you

  862. might have something that's been sitting around collecting dust.

  863. You're like, I can leverage this for a Lord.

  864. You, you might have land, you might have a second home, you

  865. might have a, a fun toy. You're like, man, it's kind of

  866. run its course. Like I can, I can find ways,

  867. Lord, or you're asking me to do that.

  868. And I think that's where it gets a little fun.

  869. If you have that ability that that's kind of fun.

  870. So I encourage you to think of that and whatever it is, just

  871. fill it in and the ad in together.

  872. That's how you come up with the yellow box.

  873. So that's that two year commitment.

  874. And that we'll start on the 14th of December is when we'll start

  875. like giving towards that and be a part of that.

  876. But today it's like, Lord, what you have me to do.

  877. So what you do is just kind of converse with your spouse, like

  878. pray together, look at it, ask yourself, Lord, is this the

  879. number? Is this my number, your number?

  880. And for some of you to be honest, you might have already

  881. filled a card in you. I already came in with a number.

  882. And the Lord may say, you know what?

  883. I've heard the vision, I see the passion, I know what Sean's

  884. doing. Like my number needs to be

  885. changed. Baby.

  886. Lord, just speaking to you. So we're going to take like 4 or

  887. 5 minutes. We're just going to play up here

  888. the the music and really pray, think through it.

  889. And I'll give you some next steps here in a second.

  890. Amen. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

  891. Hope the Lord spoke a clear number for you guys.

  892. This can be the act of faith. We do things as a family and

  893. this is one of those family moments, right?

  894. Like we do something bigger than ourselves.

  895. This who the Lord can do so invite you guys to stand to your

  896. feet. I'm going to pray in a second.

  897. The band's going to just play through Parva song.

  898. And when I'm finished praying, I invite you guys to come up and

  899. just as an act of commitment and consecration, just take your

  900. car, just come up the aisles and just drop your card in the

  901. basket and say, Lord, I consecrate this to you, I trust

  902. you. And then we'll head back to our

  903. seats. We're going to pray.

  904. I have a couple of elders come up.

  905. We're going to worship and just consecrate ourselves to the

  906. Lord. So probably God to come before

  907. you. God, we thank you that what we

  908. have God is not ours, but it's yours.

  909. Thank God we see souls today, and God we give our best.

  910. We give a number. God, you've given to us.

  911. God, we trust it to you. God, we thank you for providing

  912. for us. Now we ask you to do it again.

  913. God, what you've done for Moses and Joshua and David and

  914. Solomon, that you do it again for us.

  915. God, you bring us to a place. God, we can have a greater

  916. gathering and greater scattering, greater worship.

  917. So God we trust you. God, we consecrate this to you.

  918. Praise in Jesus name. The church said Amen, God lead

  919. you. Guys, you do something big.

  920. Amen. Thank you guys for all playing a

  921. part of that. I'm going to invite up a couple

  922. of our elders, invite up Scott Kuyat and very Hardy to pray

  923. over our commitment cards today and just trust the Lord with

  924. this. So, Scott, if you lead us out,

  925. Barry's looking for his mic. Dear Lord, you are an awesome

  926. God. Lord Father, you give us so many

  927. blessings. Lord, Father, you, you bless us

  928. with the ability to gather together.

  929. Lord, Father, you bless us with with the community that we have.

  930. Lord, you've blessed us with your son, Jesus Christ.

  931. Father, I thank you for all these things.

  932. Lord Father, I just pray that that we can bless you in a

  933. manner that that we can't even fathom what that is right now.

  934. Lord, Father, I just, I just know that your, your blessing is

  935. on this, on this gathering, on this.

  936. Group Lord, Father, I just pray that we would use your treasures

  937. for your Kingdom Lord and build all those around us.

  938. I thank you for all you do for us Lord, to Jesus name.

  939. Fathers, I come before you and as we come before you as a

  940. gathering, as a family, as a consecrated group of believers.

  941. God, I'm humbled just to be with men and women that have so much

  942. faith and God in this moment. I'm just going to take the

  943. opportunity to E2 of the of the great men that Sean has

  944. referenced today and God in David's prayer, I want to echo

  945. the fact that he came before and the congregation came before you

  946. and they recognized who you are. God, you're the creator, you're

  947. the author and the finisher of our faith and everything that

  948. flows through our hands is ultimately from you.

  949. And in that moment that David prayed that prayer, he

  950. recognized that the second thing that he recognized and that he

  951. loved was the willingness and the joyfulness of your of your

  952. people to come forward and to and to live on mission and to do

  953. what their leaders had put in their heart just to please you

  954. and to seek a desire to, to live before you.

  955. And so God, I echo that today. God, the families, the

  956. individuals that have walked forward today and made a

  957. commitment to you. God, just thank you for their

  958. heart. God, thank you for their love.

  959. Thank you for their for their story that you've that you've

  960. planted and God, I pray that in this moment of commitment that

  961. their story is to make your story famous.

  962. Amen. And God, my second echo is from

  963. Solomon. And and as Sean was reading that

  964. and talking about the fire coming down, I know this, you

  965. always do a movement that is has already started, but there's a

  966. moment of not yet. And I see that today.

  967. It's good God. Sean read that that the the the

  968. story of of the fire coming down the the presence filling the

  969. temple. I do look forward to that

  970. moment. I honestly do that whatever you

  971. give us, whatever's in your hands to do and that moment will

  972. be 1 of celebration. Then we're sitting in an

  973. anticipation of that. But the difference that I see

  974. today between US and Solomon is that your presence already here.

  975. The fire of the Holy Spirit is in each believer's heart.

  976. And God, as I see that ignited and that fan flamed God, I can't

  977. wait to see the people in this gathering influence the circles

  978. wherever they're at. And this, this, this small

  979. actual gratitude that they're giving back to you just

  980. radically changes their faith and how they live and how they

  981. love you and how they love people.

  982. So God, we give the day-to-day to you.

  983. Stay through the heart of your people.

  984. God, thank you for your faithfulness.

  985. Thank you for everything you've done for us in this moment.

  986. And we pray this all in Jesus name, Amen.

  987. Amen. Amen.

  988. This is an act of worship, Amen. It's an act of worship and now

  989. we get to worship together and with our voices and just declare

  990. God is good and just sing praises to him so he's more than

  991. able. Amen.

  992. Are more than able you are. More than able, you are.

  993. You are. You are More than able.

  994. You are more than able. Who am I to deny what the Lord

  995. can do? So I've come a long way.

  996. I've seen how you work. There's so much goodness and

  997. grace, much more than I deserve because I know who I am and I

  998. can't stay where I'm at. And we've come this far by our

  999. faith and I just can't turn by. He's not done.

1000. You're not with me yet. Come on, he's not done with me

1001. yet. There's so much more to the

1002. story. You're not done with me yet.

1003. You're not done with me yet. You're not done with me yet.

1004. There's so much more to the story if you're not done with me

1005. yet. You're not done with me yet.

1006. What church? You're not done with me yet.

1007. There's so much more to the story if you're not done with.

1008. Me. Remind to deny what the Lord can

1009. do. God is more than able.

1010. God is more than able. Yes he is.

1011. Yes he is. God is more than able.

1012. God is more than able. Who am I to deny what the Lord

1013. can do? Who am I to deny what the Lord

1014. can do? Who am I to deny what the Lord

1015. can do? We commit to you today.

1016. Use these gifts, God, not just for us, but for their future,

1017. for the city, for your glory. And who am I to deny what the

1018. Lord can do? Amen, Amen.

1019. Just Galloway and let God do something amazing.

1020. And this whole series has been built on faith.

1021. And I started out this year with a verse that God just, I mean,

1022. just gave to me, give the seasons like I'm not enough.

1023. And God, where you at? And Lord, what can we do?

1024. And there's a lot of stretching in the season.

1025. And I thought of Moses, and he gave these words to Joshua.

1026. And then David, 600 years later, is wrestling.

1027. Lord, what would you have me to do?

1028. And he didn't have the ability to build the temple, but he

1029. passed on this same Scripture to his son Solomon.

1030. And he said this in First Chronicles 2820.

1031. He said David also said to Solomon, his son, be strong and

1032. courageous and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged.

1033. Amen. Let me praise courage what the

1034. Lord you're going to do for the Lord God.

1035. My God is with you. He will not fail you or forsake

1036. you until all the work of the service and temple of the Lord

1037. is finished. Have some faith, Amen.

1038. You have some boldness. Every season, every day, like

1039. months, Lord, make me bold, make me very courageous, like we're

1040. not hiding, we're going. Amen.

1041. So Father, come before you. God, thank you so much that your

1042. promises always come true just for Moses and for Joshua.

1043. It was on David's heart for Solomon.

1044. God, we, we pray this over our church today.

1045. We pray for boldness for every person who's given and taking a

  1046. step of faith. Good.

1047. Let's not be discouraged or afraid as you step into the

1048. future and the unknown for the next two years that we trust

1049. you, Lord, you're faithful. You'll never leave us or forsake

1050. us. God, you're with us.

1051. And so God, we declare it to you.

1052. God with open hands and open hearts, we trust you.

1053. And maybe today is your day. Like we've been talking about

1054. building a building, but you recognize that these guys are a

1055. little crazy about this. Like they're really excited

1056. about this space. And you're recognizing that we

1057. are worshiping a living God. And today our gifts are living

1058. proof that Jesus has changed our lives.

1059. And maybe today you recognize the fact that there is someone

1060. that's so much greater than yourself.

1061. And today I want to tell you his name is Jesus, Amen.

1062. That He loves you enough to die on a cross of your sins 2000

1063. years ago. And he has changed our life

1064. enough that we're going to lay our life down for Jesus in honor

  1065. of him. Why?

1066. Because Jesus paid every one of our sins, everyone in the wrongs

1067. in that cross and give us every one of his rights.

1068. And so today, if you need Jesus, you're the reason that we are

1069. having today. You're the reason we want to

1070. build a space. You're the reason for Jesus

1071. coming. And so if you need Christ today

1072. without me looking around, if you say yes to a risen Savior

1073. who died on the cross for his sins and humble yourself and

1074. say, I believe Jesus is Lord, he is God.

1075. He's worthy of my life. Want to lay it down today and

1076. call on Jesus? That's you.

1077. Just lift your hand high in this place and say I need Jesus today

1078. all across this gathering, you say yes to Christ.

1079. You want to see your hands say yes to Jesus.

1080. The Bible says when you call on God, he'll forgive you every

1081. sin. You have a new family.

1082. You're part of the family God be a son of God, a daughter of God,

1083. son of the King, doubt of the King, the damage to leave

1084. through a prayer. The prayer is not save you, but

1085. your heart towards him. That humble heart you saw of

1086. David. Just crowd, crowd to Jesus.

1087. Say thank you Jesus that you love me enough got to bring me

1088. to this place today. Not an accident that I can see

1089. your glory through these people and recognize that you are God

1090. and so thank you for down across my sins God I give you glory for

1091. who you are God surrender my life to you and I pray this in

1092. Jesus name. The church said Amen.

1093. Give some glory to God today Amen.

1094. You guys may be seated. Man, what just just an amazing

1095. Sunday to come together. Man, just a reminder to take

1096. just a bold step of faith together and the unity that

1097. there is in that man. It's just so encouraging to do

1098. that with you all today. And some of you took a bold step

1099. today and maybe that bold step was a step of saving faith for

1100. you and you raised your hand, you prayed that prayer and

1101. committed your life to Jesus today.

1102. If that is you, we are so, so excited for you as you take this

1103. journey with Jesus. We've got a couple things for

1104. you. If you would just let us know

1105. you made that decision. You can do that by by grabbing

1106. that card that is on your seat, fill out your information there

1107. and check that box that says I committed my life to Jesus and

1108. you can drop that in the giving buckets as they pass here in

1109. just a few minutes. I just by doing that allows us

1110. to get you a free book in the mail tomorrow.

1111. You'll have it by midweek that you can dive into that.

1112. It's called begin. It's a great resource for you as

1113. you're taking this journey with Jesus and also as you exit

1114. today. There is a table with some red

1115. bags. Please feel free to grab one of

1116. those. There's a Bible in there for

1117. you. We would love to get to you and

1118. if you are newer with us, if this is your first time here at

1119. Real Life Church, thank you so much for spending your morning

1120. right here with us. We love that you were here.

1121. We would love for you as well just to introduce yourself to

1122. us. You can do that just by grabbing

1123. that same card for all your information there.

1124. If you want to drop it at the New Here booth as you exit the

1125. worship center just to your right, you could turn it in

1126. there. We have some smiling faces there

1127. that would love to get you a free gift as well.

1128. Just our way of saying thank you so much for being here and we

1129. would love to see you next week right back here to worship with

1130. us and to hear from God together.

1131. And hey, what just a shot in the arm today was just to be able to

1132. come together and and commit to be difference makers together.

1133. And I want to let you know too, we will be collecting commitment

1134. cards for the next few Sundays. And then I want you to mark this

1135. day down. It is Sunday, December 14th.

1136. It's a Sunday you're not going to want to miss.

  1137. That's a Sunday. We're going to celebrate all

1138. that God has done through our commitments to be difference

1139. makers and that's on Celebration Sunday.

1140. So that is Sunday, December 14th that that's a big Sunday.

1141. This is the Sunday that we get to give our first gifts to

1142. difference maker. And so on that Sunday, we're

1143. asking that you would bring your stored resources gift if at all

1144. possible on that Sunday to celebrate all that God has done

1145. to give first on that Sunday through that.

1146. And stored resources looks like a lot of things.

1147. I know Sean mentioned a few of them.

1148. Maybe it's property or inheritance or stocks.

1149. We have that ability through Owner Advised Fund.

1150. Drew and I were looking around like we got this old van sitting

  1151. around. It's not worth a lot, but it's

1152. worth something. Let's sell it.

1153. So maybe you have something like that, some stuff sitting around

1154. that you just want to get rid of.

1155. You can give that too. But really we're mimicking what

1156. the early church did in the first days of the church, what

1157. they did. So check this out.

1158. It's in Acts 244 through 45. All the believers were together

1159. and had everything in common. They sold property and

1160. possessions to give to anyone who had need.

1161. And that is what we're doing on Sunday, December 14th, coming

1162. together to give that stored resources gift together.

1163. And I don't know if you felt it in the room today, but that

1164. feeling of just unity coming together.

1165. I was getting the goosebumps on my arm again today, just like I

1166. did at Advanced Commitment night.

1167. That feeling that you're feeling is because your heart is close

1168. to God. And when you write a number down

1169. on the card, when you pray together over that card, when

1170. you walk forward and turn the card in, your heart is following

1171. your treasure and it draws you closer to Him.

1172. And so that's what it's all about to be difference makers

1173. together, to draw near to Him and to do that.

1174. And so once again, mark your calendars down for December

1175. 14th. Just be thinking about that, be

1176. praying about that, to give those first gifts on that

1177. Sunday. We can't wait to do that

1178. together with you guys. Hey, I'm going to pray real

1179. quick and then I'm going to pass it over to Diane.

1180. God, we just love you. Father, we thank you for your

1181. goodness to us, God, your faithfulness to us.

1182. Father, I just pray God just blessings over us today.

1183. Father, as we make these commitments, God, just to be

1184. difference makers together to draw closer to you through this,

1185. God, I know that you'll bless us.

1186. Father, we are just so expectant for all that you're going to do

1187. through this. God, we love you, we praise you,

1188. we give everything back to you. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

1189. Yeshers are going to go ahead and pass those buckets.

1190. Amen. What a blessed day we have had

1191. here in the house together. Yeah, give God a hand.

1192. It's so cool to put feet to the movement of what God is doing.

1193. And I'm so expectant for what he is going to continue to do

1194. through each of us. I have just a few things I want

1195. you guys to be aware of so you can come together with all of

1196. us. And the first one is this next

1197. Sunday as we lean into Thanksgiving season, we are

1198. going to take communion together as a church.

1199. So mark your calendar next Sunday.

1200. Come with a heart prepared to worship, a heart prepared to

1201. just be grateful for all that God has done, and we will share

1202. the Lord's Supper together. The second is this.

1203. I want you to mark your calendars for real life

1204. Christmas Eve gatherings on December 24th, this 2:00 PM and

1205. a 4:00 PM gathering option. We're going to have two options

1206. that day for you to come and worship and we get to celebrate

1207. Christmas together on Christmas Eve.

1208. You're not going to want to miss it.

1209. It's such a wonderful time to be together as a family and invite

1210. out some family and friends who may also want to come and

1211. experience just the goodness of Jesus in this season.

1212. And next is this. So next week we're starting A2

1213. week series called Grateful, leaning into this Thanksgiving

1214. season just with gratitude for what God has done for us.

1215. And I know that living a life full of gratitude can truly

1216. change your heart, change your mind, change your perspective.

1217. And so you're not going to want to miss these next two weeks as

1218. we lean into grateful. And the last thing I want to

1219. share with you is this. I want to end with a Psalm that

1220. David actually wrote for the music director, which Sean and I

1221. got a chuckle about this morning in our roles.

1222. But he wrote this for the music director, for the people of God

1223. to sing before they went out to accomplish great things for the

1224. Lord. And so this was their assignment

1225. when they went out. And it's in Psalm 20.

1226. It says, may the Lord answer you when you're in distress.

1227. May the name of the God of Jacob protect you.

1228. May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support

1229. from Zion. May he remember all your

1230. sacrifices and accept your burnt offerings.

1231. May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your

1232. plans succeed. And may we shout for joy over

1233. your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God.

1234. May the Lord grant all your requests.

1235. Now this I know. The Lord gives victory to his

1236. anointed. He answers him from heavenly

1237. sanctuary with the victorious power of his right hand.

1238. And some trust in Chariots and some in horses, but we trust in

1239. the name of the Lord our God. They are brought to their knees

1240. and fall, but we rise up and stand firm.

1241. Lord, give victory to the King and answer us when we call.

1242. Amen. What a call to victory, a call

1243. to the battle. And when God answers this Psalm

1244. 21 right after is a song of victory that we get to see.

1245. There's so much faith in these back-to-back Psalms saying I

1246. know God will do it. And when he does, we get to give

1247. him all the praise and the victory.

1248. What a day. So if you need prayer for any

1249. reason, we'll have someone down here to pray with you.

1250. We would love to see you next Sunday at 9:00 or 10:45.

1251. And remember this, whoever finds Jesus, Nope.

1252. Whoever discovers Jesus finds real life and purpose.

1253. I've been here a long time. I don't even know the words.

1254. Guys, have a great day. This is the end of this podcast.
