  1. You know, it's amazing. These last few weeks we've been

  2. talking about heaven, and every time we talk about heaven, it

  3. seems like people come to Jesus. It's pretty amazing actually.

  4. And we talked about you're made for a person and you're made for

  5. a place, and the person is Jesus and the place is heaven, Amen.

  6. You can't have heaven without Jesus.

  7. And some of you guys said yes to Jesus last week, which means you

  8. also have heaven. And so we had four people come

  9. to Christ last Sunday. Amen.

  10. Can you guys go for those guys? Come on, it's amazing.

  11. You know, you don't hear a lot of messages on heaven, a lot of

  12. thoughts on heaven. If you do, it's just kind of in

  13. passing and we kind of make our own theology up and not about

  14. you. These last few weeks, have you

  15. guys been more excited about heaven than ever after hearing

  16. some of the scriptures? Amen you know we're either

  17. heaven found or heaven bound, right?

  18. If you know Jesus, right, We have friends and family and

  19. people in heaven. I think about these messages and

  20. what we learned about this. It should be very exciting, very

  21. appealing. It should just put our faith so

  22. strong. We song sung today like man,

  23. even I have a firm foundation of Christ.

  24. No matter what happens, man, I I know where I'm going.

  25. Amen. I know what it's going to be

  26. like and the goal of this series are not ignorant things of

  27. heaven, but by the end of the series, like no, I know what

  28. exactly it's like as best I can and it is so, so good.

  29. I would encourage you guys. We're doing something very

  30. special this week and this next 10 days we're doing something

  31. called 10 days of heavenly vision and what it is.

  32. We're taking heaven outside of our four walls, taking heaven

  33. online and helping you guys really dive into some different

  34. aspects of putting heaven 1st and different areas.

  35. So having first in your finances, heaven first in your

  36. marriage and just do a little video clip of just sharing what

  37. happens life from scripture encourage you guys and there's a

  38. little devo. So you'll see us on Facebook,

  39. Instagram, all the places. But it's going to be really

  40. encouraging if you read through there and really think about

  41. what how does heaven change my marriage?

  42. And often times thing about marriage or finances or pieces

  43. about marriage specifically, we think about that our life

  44. fulfilled their marriage, but actually it's a picture of

  45. Christ in the church in heaven, Amen.

  46. It's a picture of what God did for us.

  47. And so if we think our life's going to be all perfect on

  48. earth, we might have the wrong vision of our marriage because

  49. actually pictures grace, forgiveness, mercy, and your

  50. marriage is actually a picture of heaven on earth of eternity

  51. for people who don't know Jesus, Amen.

  52. So it's a totally different way of seeing things.

  53. So I want to encourage you guys, you know, on social media, if

  54. you, if you're comfortable and love you guys, like, share and

  55. comment, Amen. Like, share and comment because

  56. this can be amazing. I just know as people hear about

  57. heaven, they're going to find Jesus.

  58. They're searching people who are lost.

  59. They have no idea what this is true like.

  60. And so today we're going to dive in to a really, I mean, it's

  61. going to go, but we're answer some questions you guys asked

  62. last week and then we're talking about what do we know about

  63. heaven, about our lives now? It's to be very, very practical.

  64. So I just want to dive in. I'm going to answer a question I

  65. had four people asked me this last Sunday and throughout the

  66. week, what happens to our bodies if they're not still in a casket

  67. and buried there? We talk about glorified bodies

  68. taught First Thessalonians chapter 4, and how we're raised

    1 Thessalonians 4 chapter mention

  69. in Christ. And we talk about the casket

  70. facing east and our feet facing east and our face faces east so

  71. that we raise up and we see Jesus as he raised from the

  72. grave. And then of course, the question

  73. is like, what happens if we don't have an actual body in the

  74. tomb? And what's really cool about

  75. this question? You're actually not the first

  76. people to ask this question. It's actually pretty cool.

  77. It's found in First Corinthians 15.

  78. It says this and this is between 35 and 38.

  79. It's all together, it says, but someone will ask how are the

  80. dead raised? Sounds familiar.

  81. It says with what kind of body will they come?

  82. That's pretty amazing. Amen.

  83. I get some reassurance knowing that I'm asking the same

  84. question that people are asking for all time that 2000 years ago

  85. somebody asked this question, what kind of body will we have?

  86. How in the world is this going to work out?

  87. And I find some some actual peace and recognition that I'm

  88. not the one struggling with that.

  89. Amen. Like what exactly is going to

  90. happen? Says this.

  91. What you sow does not come to life unless it what dies?

  92. The seed, in order seed to bear fruit must die.

  93. Listen to this. When you sow, you do not plant

  94. the body that will be, but just a seed.

  95. So, so your body. You probably never heard before,

  96. your body being buried, cremated, whatever is just a

  97. seed being planted. That's pretty good news.

  98. Amen. If you stare into a casket or

  99. hold an urn, this is the best news you could ever hear that

  100. this is not the end. And when you're going to be

  101. raised to life, look what it says.

  102. So it'll be with the resurrection of the dead just

  103. says Jesus resurrected will resurrect.

  104. It says the body that is sown is what perishable, It's material

  105. and it says it is raised. How imperishable, dude, this is

  106. exciting. It raised, it raised eternal.

  107. It is so natural body is raised a spiritual body.

  108. I'm so thankful we don't resurrect the way we went out.

  109. We don't resurrect the diabetes and dementia, Amen.

  110. You don't you don't resurrect with disease and brokenness.

  111. You know, you're coming back to the full faculty as God has

  112. actually made you to be, Amen. This is great news because

  113. you're thinking, well, what happens if you're cremated?

  114. It's like what happens if you have dementia?

  115. Like are you coming back the way you left?

  116. No, you're coming back spiritual, Amen.

  117. Immaterial all together, imperishable.

  118. You know, you might think about this.

  119. What Paul's really saying is you're not coming back as a as a

  120. reassembled corpse of yourself. You're not coming back as just

  121. some modulated, upgraded version.

  122. You're coming back to a brand new glorified body in Christ,

  123. transformed and glorified by him.

  124. You know, some people get really wound up, like, man, we know

  125. what these bodies are going to look like.

  126. Oh, man. And you know, we don't know

  127. exactly, but we do know. We recognize Jesus, OK?

  128. Like he had a body. Wasn't like, what's that?

  129. Is that a human, you know, that sometimes disguise itself?

  130. They saw Elijah, they saw Moses on our transfiguration.

  131. So we know what a body likes. You know what a body's like,

  132. Amen. You've had one your entire life,

  133. Amen. You kind of know.

  134. And so the Bible doesn't go to Scripture like we we, we just

  135. assume like, yes, we're going to recognize these people.

  136. You can see that in Scripture. You might think the question,

  137. does dust really limit God? Well, Adam was created from from

  138. dust. You know the Bible says you die

  139. from dust to dust, we return back to dust.

  140. No matter how you get to dust, you're turning back to dust.

  141. But this is what it says in Philippians 3.

  142. We eagerly await a Savior who by the power that enabled him to

  143. bring everything in his control, will transform our what lowly

  144. bodies? Is that the best definition of

  145. being a human or what are lowly bodies like when I want to show

  146. up, it can't show up, you know, I can't hold the weight, I can't

  147. have the stamina. I can't go for days on end.

  148. Like the body is just broken, this lowly body.

  149. So there will be like who? His glorious body will be like

  150. Jesus body, Amen. We saw the resurrected Christ.

  151. He's needs no repair. He's not recycled, He's

  152. transformed. You might ask the question, what

  153. happens if your body's destroyed?

  154. So in John 219 says this Jesus answered them.

  155. This is Jesus talking. He says destroy this temple.

  156. He was talking by himself. He destroyed my body and I'll

  157. raise it up again in three days. But the temple he had spoken of

  158. was his. What?

  159. No matter what they did physically to Jesus, he was

  160. going to resurrect perfectly. Amen.

  161. And his death was brutal, absolutely brutal.

  162. Well, there's nothing left. You know, if you want those like

  163. found destination people like you sicko freaks that watch that

  164. stuff. OK, somebody said it's good,

  165. there's nothing left. Like you're completely

  166. vaporized, right? And you see this, you've seen it

  167. all throughout history, different places, right?

  168. Like this is what it says. Revelation 2013, The sea gave up

  169. the dead that were in it. Isn't it crazy to think about?

  170. Like if you put a bite in the sea, they, they ain't nothing

  171. left, man. I mean, there's fish food,

  172. you're destroyed, you're gone. It is.

  173. It's just nothing there. But God actually takes a body

  174. out of the sea. Is that good news?

  175. Amen. I mean, no matter what, like

  176. scattered ashes are not a problem, Amen, not a problem for

  177. God. And you think about these Saints

  178. that people have been killed in the faith, right?

  179. There's a guy named Polycarp. He's one of the like premier,

  180. like just the one of the biggest disciples that John, the

  181. disciple that Jesus loved made his Polycarp and he wouldn't

  182. recount his faith and they burn him to the stake.

  183. It's an incredible story. He actually wouldn't burn.

  184. They're trying to burn him. He won't burn and history

  185. records him just crying out in prayer.

  186. It's like 4 paragraphs of prayer.

  187. He's just crying out in prayer and they have to get a sword out

  188. and actually Pierce him to kill him.

  189. And then they burn his body. It's amazing.

  190. And to think that his body is not going to be in heaven, it's

  191. kind of crazy to me. Amen.

  192. You think of like William Tyndall who took the Bible and

  193. translated English so he could have it.

  194. And the religious people are so offended that the common person

  195. could have the Bible that they burned when he turned out the

  196. stake. To think he's not going to be in

  197. heaven with the glorified body is absolutely crazy to me.

  198. Amen. So bodies, even though we're not

  199. recovered or cremated, it, it doesn't matter.

  200. They're not a problem for God. It's location, condition or all

  201. irrelevant in the resurrection power of God.

  202. Amen. So this is a little bit of good

  203. news. So that was that was a freebie

  204. that just you just motivated me with that one because like I

  205. just got to the Bible doesn't want to be ignorant, Amen.

  206. Because you got this fear like, oh man, what holding on to if

  207. you know what happens, like you are no longer going to hold on

  208. to Earth. Amen.

  209. You're like, I'm just passing through.

  210. I'm going to make my difference. But I know where my eternity is

  211. set. And you're going to see it

  212. today. We're going through some

  213. scriptures. What is heaven actually like for

  214. us? When you take your last breath,

  215. what exactly happens And what what state am I in?

  216. All these questions? We're going to learn through two

  217. places. 1 is going to be the rich man Lazarus.

  218. We'll be in Luke 16 and we're going to read through this

  219. story. So it's verse 19 through 31.

  220. And this is about ourselves to take our last breath.

  221. Check this out. It says this.

  222. Verse 19, Luke 1619, you've fallen.

  223. It says there's a rich man who is dressed in purple and fine

  224. linen and lived in luxury every day.

  225. Sounds like the American dream. Amen.

  226. This is what I want, luxury. Purple's expensive, fine linen

  227. expensive, and this man was very wealthy.

  228. Verse 20, at his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus.

  229. First thing you got to notice is he was laid.

  230. He didn't walk there. Somebody set him outside the

  231. rich man's house and said, man, this guy could potentially take

  232. care of him. He says covered in sores and

  233. what longing to eat, what fell? I don't know why my mind for the

  234. longest time I thought he actually did eat.

  235. But this is says he longed to eat.

  236. When you study this, he's actually longed for food.

  237. But the rich man doesn't even give him the scraps from his

  238. table. He longed to have just what fell

  239. from the plate. If you scrape your plate next to

  240. me, I'd be so happy. It says from the rich man's

  241. table. It says even the dogs came and

  242. licked his sores. So here's Lazarus.

  243. He's destitute, he's sick, he's starving to death.

  244. And you have a rich man who's calloused.

  245. He's in proximity, but doesn't help.

  246. He he has the ability to care, but lacks compassion.

  247. And see this contrast between a rich man and the beggar who

  248. actually has a name named Lazarus, verse 22.

  249. The time came when the beggar, what he died, and the angels

  250. carried him to Abraham's side. Now later you're going to see

  251. the rich man dies and he's buried.

  252. But this man was not buried because he had the money to be

  253. buried. And he dies most likely laying

  254. right outside the rich man's gate waiting to be fed.

  255. This is where he dies, and it's so amazing to me because you

  256. contrast to your stories. He dies, the same thing was

  257. bodied and buried. And what happens?

  258. The angels pick up his soul and they bring it to heaven.

  259. It's pretty cool. It's pretty cool.

  260. And I'm not saying this is a a theology across all people, all

  261. times, but this might be the greatest picture you have of

  262. what actually happens to your soul the moment you take your

  263. last breath as if you know Jesus, angels come and they take

  264. your soul and spirit directly to heaven.

  265. Is that good? Amen.

  266. It's pretty good to think about. Like the rich man, he, he didn't

  267. have this happen at all. Now I want to stop here and says

  268. Abraham's side. If if you got your KJV or I

  269. don't know what it says in KJV, but it may say Abraham's bosom.

  270. Now this is a little confusing because you're like, what in the

  271. world is Abraham's side? And so the Old Testament,

  272. there's not like an exhaustive teaching on heaven and hell.

  273. Like it's not as clear as New Testament.

  274. Now they, they, you're going to see Abraham's side would talk

  275. about the place of comfort and then you're going to see later

  276. we'll talk about Hades, which we have place of torment.

  277. It's an Old Testament. They believe there's two sides

  278. to eternity. They didn't really know all the

  279. details, but you see it here. You have a place of eternal

  280. torment, a place of agony, a place called hell.

  281. And then you place of comfort, which is called Abraham's side

  282. of the righteous dead. You have the unrighteous dead

  283. and the righteous dead. Now there's debate if the people

  284. in Abraham's bosom or Abraham's side, when Jesus dies, that he

  285. actually goes into captivity, steals the keys of death, hell

  286. and the grave. You'll see that in Revelation,

  287. and then goes into Abraham's side of the holding place and

  288. leads captivity captive and brings them into the present

  289. heaven. Do I blow your mind right now?

  290. OK, there's debate on that. It doesn't really matter either

  291. way. They're in the present heaven

  292. now. Amen.

  293. So whether everybody besides the present heaven then, or they're

  294. issued in by Jesus in the present heaven, now that's where

  295. they are. And so this is the context of

  296. the story. So the rich man also died.

  297. Was what buried? No, no mention of angels.

  298. No, no mention of going to heaven.

  299. It says in Hades, which is no word for hell.

  300. You see, the Hades Shoal and Gehenna are three words used in

  301. the Bible for hell. Where he was what in torment.

  302. He looked up and he saw Abraham afar off with Lazarus by his

  303. side. So Lazarus has company and this

  304. man probably doesn't have anybody.

  305. Verse 24 So he called to him father Abraham in amazing says

  306. father Ham, he knew him father. So this man must be Jewish at

  307. least recognize who he is. He says that in your lifetime,

  308. sorry, have pity on me, have compassion and send Lazarus to

  309. dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue because

  310. I'm in agony in this fire. This is like the greatest wake

  311. up call verse in all scripture. Like this is one of those verses

  312. that should never settle well with you.

  313. It's just not you go there and you're like, oh, Lord, help me

  314. to tell as many people that came about Jesus, thank you for life.

  315. Thank you for what you've done. Got to understand there's sin,

  316. there's punishment of sin, but Lord, I want to see people come

  317. to Christ, Amen. You see this virtually.

  318. Wow. And you might question God's

  319. goodness, but if you know God's number one attribute is

  320. holiness, it's righteousness, Amen.

  321. And love falls under that. And so it's amazing how God has

  322. these eternal places, but this Scripture, it just it gets you

  323. motivated. Verse 25 says, but Abraham

  324. replied son, so he's probably Jewish.

  325. Remember that in your lifetime you received good things while

  326. Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you

  327. are in agony. You see the paradox?

  328. First I'll be last, last I'll be first.

  329. The things are like your faith actually should have some works,

  330. Amen? Like if the rich man truly knew

  331. God, he should have fed the poor person, not because you're

  332. trying to earn God, because he had God's love to share, Amen.

  333. He should have had some works and some change in his life, but

  334. he didn't. And besides, all this between us

  335. is a great chasm has been set in place that those who want to go

  336. from here cannot or anyone can cross over there to us.

  337. It's pretty amazing to me that like what happens on this earth

  338. and our physical life now actually effects all of

  339. eternity. And pretty, pretty amazing.

  340. Like you get this time to make a decision of what you believe

  341. about faith and whether you spend eternity in heaven or

  342. hell. Verse 27 The answer then I beg

  343. you father, if I can't go send Lazarus to my family 55 brothers

  344. and let him warn them so they will not also come to this place

  345. to torment. Verse 29 Abraham replied they

  346. have Moses and the prophets time of the Bible so, so let them let

  347. them listen to them. Verse 30 he said no father,

  348. ahem. He said, but if someone from the

  349. dead goes to them, they will repent.

  350. And he said to him, if they do not listen to Moses and the

  351. prophets, they will not be convinced even of someone what

  352. rises from the dead. Kind of a nod to Jesus, Amen.

  353. If they're not going to listen to Moses, the prophets, they're

  354. not even going to listen to Jesus.

  355. If you're not going to look at Scripture and put your heart on

  356. God, you might not even follow Jesus.

  357. No one from the dead can go back and be more convincing than the

  358. Bible itself. Amen.

  359. This is a way he's saying they have a witness in the witnesses

  360. Scripture. Now here's the thing.

  361. Some people are going to argue this entire parable is 100%

  362. figure of language. Some some people preach that.

  363. Some people maybe even believe that.

  364. Now to me, I look at this, there's way too much detail.

  365. It's so concise and so precise of what heaven and hell it looks

  366. like. That would make no sense that

  367. this is a totally made-up figure of speech.

  368. One of the things you see in this parable that's really

  369. interesting, of all the parables you just give over 40 parables

  370. is the only time he actually uses someone's name.

  371. He uses the name Lazarus. Why would Jesus use the name

  372. Lazarus? It actually wouldn't make very

  373. much sense because it's actually kind of confusing because

  374. already Lazarus in the Bible is a good friend of Jesus.

  375. He's the one already raised from the dead.

  376. So very confusing. And so you look at this story.

  377. I don't think it's 100% figurative language.

  378. I don't think it's a made-up story.

  379. I think it's a real man with a real name, with a real heaven

  380. and a real hell and a real place.

  381. Amen. So we see in the scripture.

  382. So let's go look through some of these components of the story.

  383. When Lazarus died, the angels carried him to paradise.

  384. Rich man went to torment. Lazarus is with Abraham.

  385. And you see that right there in the scripture.

  386. We read that earlier. But the rich man, you don't see

  387. anybody mentioned with him a place of loneliness, of

  388. isolation. Both the rich man and Abraham

  389. look at us. They reasoned and communicated.

  390. They had their full faculties, didn't slip into some like

  391. disembodied member and we all became 1 like, you know, power,

  392. force and whatever people think, right?

  393. They maintained the distinct identities from Earth.

  394. That's good news, Amen. Like when we die, it's just a

  395. continuation of our life on earth, our personality, our

  396. heart, we're all, we are the same person.

  397. Amen. Like we slip into eternity is

  398. like I went in and I'm just recreated, reformed,

  399. reincarnated to something else. Like we kept our the continuity

  400. was direct from earth to heaven and our after lives even into

  401. hell. So some insights.

  402. You see them in physical forms. That's pretty interesting.

  403. There's a tongue, the finger there, There was water.

  404. Some apparently there's water at least.

  405. There's a tempter trying to find water in heaven.

  406. There's a finger on him. There's a tongue on the rich

  407. man. The the rich man remembers and

  408. possibly sees his brothers. That's pretty interesting to

  409. think about it, isn't it? Like like like in hell according

  410. to scripture. There's this pain of regret and

  411. sorrow for what is and what it should be.

  412. And you remember these things be haunted by that would be

  413. impossible to imagine. They possibly see his brothers.

  414. The thing about you actually have deep concern for the

  415. welfare of those on earth is actually amazing to think about.

  416. You still care about what is happening in this world.

  417. That's pretty interesting, isn't it?

  418. It's a new thought for many people.

  419. The bottom line this whole parable is this is that Jesus

  420. truly intended us to believe there is a real heaven and a

  421. real hell with a real earth that we're on today with real bodies

  422. that actually end up in real places.

  423. Amen. Sometimes you're like, oh, it's

  424. just all good. It's a big part like we don't

  425. fully grasp. So this is kind of the backdrop.

  426. So we have this story, but there's even the better story we

  427. find in Revelation chapter 6 and we're going to dive through this

    Revelation 6 chapter mention

  428. Revelation chapter 6, verse 9. It says when he opened the what?

    Revelation 6:9

  429. The 5th seal. This is interesting.

  430. These seals are actually judgments.

  431. OK, so if you read part, you read through the scripture of

  432. the seals. It's it's kind of fun.

  433. I mean, tell Jackson, what's this seal like all you're going

  434. to see it, God's going to move his power and presence.

  435. He's going to let humanity kind of be on their own.

  436. He's going to just let humanity be at their worst, which is

  437. terrible. There's a thing in the Bible

  438. called common grace. The Holy Spirit's the restrainer

  439. is the name of the Holy Spirit and he restrains sin.

  440. But as he seals are open. So think of like a.

  441. A signet ring and you go back to three Musketeers, you know, and

  442. only Jesus can open the seals, right?

  443. And so Jesus opened the seals and each seals a different, the

  444. first four are different horses, OK?

  445. Feels like a White Horse, a red horse, a Black Horse and a pale

  446. horse. And they're all different

  447. judgments that are happening on the earth.

  448. Most of it is God just letting humans become humans.

  449. And he's taking away his presence.

  450. And this 5th seal happens and this is what it says.

  451. He says the salt under the altar, the souls of those had

  452. been slain. So these are the martyrs we

  453. talked about last week, because the word of God and the

  454. testimony they had maintained says they called out in a loud

  455. voice. This is a quote, How long

  456. sovereign Lord, holy and true. So you solve the attributes

  457. until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our

  458. blood. Then each of them was given a

  459. white robe and they were told to wait a little longer until the

  460. full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and

  461. sisters, are killed just as they had.

  462. Now this is amazing scripture. There is 3 verses, and we're

  463. going to dive through these 3 verses.

  464. I just want to see how much you can learn about heaven in just

  465. these 3 verses. Now, I've been reading a book by

  466. Randy Alcorn called Heaven. So I'm going to take his

  467. thoughts from this because there's no reason to add to

  468. something already great. Amen.

  469. And I'm just going to read through this and I want you to

  470. see how exciting it is of heaven for us today.

  471. So look at this. So #1 when these people died on

  472. earth, they were relocated to heaven.

  473. Good news, Amen. A lot of the world tell you

  474. like, we don't know where we go. We, we just float around.

  475. We cease to exist. We go into oblivion.

  476. Like there's no idea. You'll never know.

  477. We slip back into the primordial sludge.

  478. We, we just all these things. But here you see exactly these

  479. martyrs that were killed. We talked about last week.

  480. We talked about Abel being killed and being moved straight

  481. to heaven. Maybe the angels picked them up

  482. like Lazarus and brought them straight to heaven.

  483. Verse 2 it says the OR verse 2 second point, verse 2.

  484. I'm sorry, I'm the pastor. Come on, somebody.

  485. It's always a verse. These people in heaven were the

  486. same ones killed for Christ on earth.

  487. So here's amazing. It demonstrates direct

  488. continuity between our identity and earth and our identity in

  489. heaven. You don't cease to exist.

  490. Amen. It's like you are Sean and now

  491. you're Sean and I had the same. I had to say memories.

  492. It's actually, I would argue a perfect memory because you

  493. actually have to go to a judgement in front of it's

  494. called the judgement of works. It's not getting into heaven,

  495. but based on your works, you get, you basically get blessings

  496. of God, you get crowns, you get jewels, you get inheritance of

  497. God based on your works. Well, you have to be able to

  498. judge your works. You have to have perfect memory

  499. of the works you had, Amen. Like you had dementia in your

  500. last part of your life. How would you know, right?

  501. How do you hold account? You have to be able to judge

  502. your works. And so you have perfect memory

  503. of your life. You remember back to your

  504. family, friends, the things that happened.

  505. These martyrs had personal history that extends directly

  506. back to lives on earth. How long will you wait to cast

  507. judgement on the sins and the brokenness of humanity, those

  508. that had taken their lives? So those in present heaven are

  509. not different people. They're the same people just

  510. relocated. The Bible says in Hebrews 12/23

  511. righteous men made perfect. I love the fact that we're just

  512. relocated. Amen.

  513. I love they're not recreated or re transformed and we kind of

  514. slip into some people think you'd get your Angel wings.

  515. You see those videos, you get your Angel wings.

  516. You had no Angel wings. I hate to disappoint.

  517. Amen. You ain't even flowing around.

  518. You're getting your Angel wings. You know, why would you want to

  519. do that anyway? That'd be weird, wouldn't it?

  520. Like I was human, but now I'm an Angel.

  521. This is dumb. Just gonna say it.

  522. This makes no sense. Like just make it whatever you

  523. want up to feel good, OK? People in heaven will be

  524. remembered for lives on earth. So, so think about this.

  525. Other people knew them by their reputation and testimony of what

  526. they live like on earth. Makes you wonder what people are

  527. going to think of us, right? Look as they were known and

  528. identified as the one slain because the testimony they had

  529. maintained. So like, what?

  530. What in the world are they going to know you by in heaven?

  531. Oh, you're the one, you're that guy.

  532. You brought heaven to earth, which is the prayer by way,

  533. right? For your will be done as in

  534. heaven on heaven as on heaven on earth as in heaven, Amen.

  535. And so like you're known by your walk with God now at least you

  536. can be, which is absolutely amazing.

  537. It just reminds you we should be really bold, Amen.

  538. Like Christians like this. I love Jesus.

  539. Does that. Does that bother people?

  540. I don't, I don't know. Maybe it does, maybe it should.

  541. I don't know. But the bottom line is we have

  542. the greatest news ever given, Amen.

  543. And we know our eternity and what we do now matters more than

  544. really ever because it sets the pace for eternity.

  545. There's no thought. They called out, which is pretty

  546. amazing, which means they have the ability to express

  547. themselves audibly. They have vocal cords, Amen.

  548. They can speak. That's good news.

  549. Some of you thought to go to heaven.

  550. He was like, we just, we're just like a little drone.

  551. No, you can actually say things and have opinions.

  552. Isn't that amazing to think about?

  553. I'm not going to say you keep fighting with your spouse, but

  554. there won't be a spouse there. Just Jesus, come on, they will

  555. be in heaven. You won't be married.

  556. Let me qualify that a little bit.

  557. They won't be there. That was a little strong.

  558. That was a little strong. Julian Dobry's like I told you

  559. so I did. I made that up.

  560. I'm sorry, but they express themselves oddly.

  561. So it would suggest that Vilcourts, we talk about them

  562. being physical on a physical earth.

  563. We talk about the new heaven, new earth, when the new heaven,

  564. earth created that actually heaven comes down to earth, the

  565. city of Jerusalem and heaven and earth are actually one that's

  566. pretty amazing to think about. If you put in our time period,

  567. Heaven and earth are on right here together now.

  568. Like your eternity doesn't start when you die, your eternity

  569. start when you're born and you just made decisions to follow

  570. Jesus and the eternity is set and you're promised through the

  571. Holy Spirit that he sealed you. The Holy Spirit promise you're

  572. going to go to heaven, but you're already eternal, Amen,

  573. Amen. So when you're living your life,

  574. you're not looking at like, oh, what's my how much money can I

  575. make? What kind of manshine can I live

  576. in? How many fathers going to have,

  577. you know, all these things We try settle all the temporary

  578. goals that's on earth. I'm not saying you shouldn't

  579. have some goals, Amen, but you better not lose them to distract

  580. by where you're really going because you're just a sis in the

  581. heaven and you're a sojourned on earth.

  582. You're just passing through, Amen?

  583. Like we need to be more bold and step out because we know exactly

  584. where we spend eternity. So they raise their voices,

  585. which indicates they're rational.

  586. The people are commutative, they have emotion, and based on what

  587. they said, they even have very passionate emotion, Amen.

  588. Do do you guys like having passionate emotion?

  589. I mean, some of y'all do, right? Some of y'all watched the Bills

  590. and the Broncos last night and had some passionate emotion.

  591. That was not the response I was thinking.

  592. I'm still bitter from the 90s. So it's all right, right?

  593. It's all good. But passionate, right?

  594. Passionate beings, just like we are on earth.

  595. I mean, I just love the fact we have passion.

  596. Look at this, we crowd out a loud voice, not loud voices,

  597. there was just one voice. We're like unified together.

  598. They're individuals that are speaking as one.

  599. So any case, heaven is a place of unity and shared perspective.

  600. It's pretty amazing that we together are watching the

  601. injustice of earth. These martyrs, at least they're

  602. seeing what's happening. They're crying out how long Lord

  603. will we have to wait? So the martyrs are conscious,

  604. rational, aware of each other, which is good news.

  605. And the situation on earth. Can Can you imagine your loved

  606. one in heaven knowing what's happening on earth?

  607. Like we, we think about Jesus and like, oh, Jesus knows

  608. everything. But what about the Saints in the

  609. forests? Like, what if they actually know

  610. what you're struggling with? Will they actually know what

  611. your habits are? Will they actually know the

  612. conversations and the demons and the temptations and the road you

  613. choose? Will they actually know that

  614. about your life? Would that change how you live?

  615. My hair stands up. I think about it because these

  616. guys know what's happening on earth.

  617. They ask God to intervene. Thank you, Jesus.

  618. Amen. You're going to pray more in

  619. heaven than you pray on earth. I guarantee it.

  620. And they ask God to intervene on earth to act on their behalf.

  621. How long until you judge the habits of the earth and avenge

  622. our blood? I love to have full access to

  623. Jesus. Amen.

  624. I love to ask Jesus questions. They have an audience with God

  625. and they also to ask the question would mean you have to

  626. have the ability to learn. You know so many people teach

  627. this when you get to heaven. He's going to play keys in

  628. heaven. This is way better in horrible

  629. church, but you think about heaven that you have the

  630. abilities to discover the ability to learn.

  631. They suddenly people think you get downloaded everything like

  632. you die. We won't know until we get to

  633. heaven. You still might not know when

  634. you get to heaven right, because there's still things to

  635. discover. There's things to learn.

  636. I'm thinking about people go ahead of me and they there

  637. whatever place that are in the on the the new earth that would

  638. be there right or present heaven.

  639. They're going to walk around the corner and go what's around

  640. here? What's this taste like?

  641. There's food, there's eating, there's trees, there's camels

  642. that have you solved that in Isaiah chapter 60, who now you

    Isaiah 60 chapter mention

  643. know for sure there's camels in heaven.

  644. I said it Amen. We know at least there's camels,

  645. right and we go around. We're like man, what's we have

  646. ability to go. I can learn something.

  647. I have adventure still. Amen.

  648. I started thinking like, brother, I'm probably not

  649. getting a chance. I'm much too old to have no lung

  650. capacity. My wife would kill me to climb

  651. Mount Everest. But I'm telling you, man, since

  652. the new Earth is actually our earth resurrected, we'll get

  653. into this next week. I'm going to climb Everest in

  654. heaven. Come on, somebody imperishable.

  655. I'm going to bury my to pull me down, but I'm not going to die.

  656. Hey, man, no deal. Bile, oxygen.

  657. We're going for it, baby. Just a different perspective,

  658. right, of how real heaven is now.

  659. I've lost my place. I don't know where I'm at.

  660. So they desire understanding and pursue justice and truth.

  661. They, they, they finally are fighting for the right things.

  662. Sometimes we fight for the wrong things on earth.

  663. You know, you get so bitter at people, so mad at stuff and you

  664. get to heaven and like, all makes sense.

  665. You're like, dude, I'm going to fight for things of God.

  666. What was I thinking building my life on myself?

  667. That's the rock. Amen.

  668. And we built our lives sometimes on same because it's so in front

  669. of us. Just makes so much sense.

  670. People in the present heaven know what's happened on earth.

  671. The martyrs know enough to realize that those who killed

  672. them are not yet being judged. They know it's not happened yet.

  673. They understand there's time. Heaven dwellers have a deep

  674. concern for justice in retribution.

  675. When you go to heaven, we won't adopt A passive disinterest,

  676. disinterest and what happens on earth.

  677. On the contrary, our concern will be more passionate and our

  678. thirst for justice even greater. It's pretty amazing.

  679. Amen. Like you thought, you go up

  680. there and be like, oh, we're going to have fun.

  681. It's going to go great, there's a present heaven and your tears

  682. are not wiped away until the new heaven, new earth.

  683. And so the present heaven is about God's patience as he's

  684. patiently waiting for all people to come to repentance to him.

  685. Amen. That's the only reason we're

  686. here, and that's the only reason that's the present heaven, is

  687. that the present heaven is still cheering on things of earth for

  688. people to come to Christ. Neither God nor we will be

  689. satisfied until his enemies are judged, our buys are raised, and

  690. sin and Satan are defeated. Earth are restored and Christ is

  691. exalted over all. This is what you're going to be

  692. praying for when you die. This is going to be on your

  693. heart when you die. Justice for God to do what He's

  694. called to do. The martyrs clearly remember

  695. their lives on earth. They even remember that they

  696. were murdered. That's pretty crazy thing about

  697. it, isn't it? Like you, you die in your faith

  698. and you, the angels take you to eternity and you're like, Lord,

  699. go get them, Amen. It's amazing because there's so

  700. much things on earth that don't like the system's broken, right?

  701. There's injustice, there's pain, there's lost, and we can lose

  702. faith in all of humanity and God.

  703. But God has a final word, Amen. There's murders unsolved,

  704. there's injustice all the time. There's corruption and greed.

  705. Everything's twisted. It's about power and money and

  706. eternity. All gets straightened up by God

  707. and we remember. Think about this, If you didn't

  708. have memory, how could you give true worship?

  709. Let the redeemed of the Saints say so.

  710. Amen. If you don't remember your

  711. redemption and the pain and the cost, how can you give true

  712. worship to God? And so in heaven we see it

  713. perfectly. We understand with God's

  714. patience and his timing and the injustice and the affliction,

  715. and we're crying out and give worship to God for all eternity

  716. for the for his mercy and grace that He's given us.

  717. This is pretty cool. The martyrs in heaven pray for

  718. judgment on the persecutors who are still working hurt on

  719. others, and they're acting in solidarity with and in effect

  720. interceding for the suffering Saints on earth.

  721. This suggests that the Saints in heaven are both seeing and

  722. praying for the Saints on earth. These martyrs prayed how long

  723. and they're praying for justice on earth to think about this

  724. that a loved one has passed before somebody in Jesus and it

  725. really all time. All the Saints are looking at us

  726. and they're praying for us. Does that blow your mind or what

  727. to think about Paul and Moses and grandma, uncle, friends,

  728. brother, dad, spouse and heaven know Jesus and they're looking

  729. to you and they're saying go get them boy, God, use them, protect

  730. them, get some justice, bring some righteousness.

  731. Can you can you can you just imagine this and we're the ones

  732. sad at the funeral gun, don't you think?

  733. And you're like, brother, they, they are more alive than ever

  734. and they want something from your life.

  735. They never quit on you. They know exactly what's

  736. happening. Will this change every funeral

  737. in history, Amen. Got to get aware of what God is

  738. really doing. The Saints are praying for us.

  739. Amen. That's an Amen.

  740. Amen. Amen.

  741. Because you're because you're like one with the Saints.

  742. It's not you by yourself in your bedroom or nobody understands

  743. you. Nobody can figure it out.

  744. Oh, it's so hard. Oh, man.

  745. Tipped over the scale. I can't figure out what to do.

  746. I can't make decisions. All these things like, dude,

  747. heaven has a plan and they're praying for you.

  748. You're not alone. Amen.

  749. Those in heaven see God's attributes.

  750. We saw that earlier, right? The sovereign Lord, holy and

  751. true. That's pretty cool.

  752. What we see face to face, the actual attributes of God that

  753. the key thing of heaven is actually the presence of Jesus.

  754. We're in his presence. We are distinct individuals.

  755. We're all given individual robes by that last week.

  756. I love there were not one merged just uniqueness.

  757. You know, they all slip into this energy field at the

  758. forehead. Like, I love that.

  759. We're unique individuals, Amen. We continue on the martyrs wear

  760. right rubs which suggest a physical form.

  761. We talk about last. We've got disembodied spirits.

  762. It does something, put a robe on.

  763. God answers questions. That's pretty good right?

  764. Now we ask questions and we have to search Scripture and Holy

  765. Spirit gives confirmation, all these things.

  766. But in heaven, you're like Jesus, how long He's like, wait,

  767. OK, that's amazing. Amen.

  768. Like we can have our questions answered.

  769. He's like, oh, what what are you doing right now?

  770. Hey, we're waiting until the last person is martyred for

  771. their faith. Then I'm going back down there.

  772. OK, We're praying for that. That's pretty cool.

  773. Amen. So you just know, like when

  774. people are killed for faith, it's just maybe the last one,

  775. maybe the last one, because you know, we're just going to go out

  776. like a ball of fire, right? Because we're going to people

  777. like Polycarp are going to be like, Hey, renounce Jesus.

  778. You're like, I'm not you ever read the book?

  779. She said, yes, the story. I called on high school and the

  780. guy put the gun to her head and said, do you believe in Jesus?

  781. You know, tell people you don't he's I believe in Jesus.

  782. And she said, yes, I do. And they shot her back in the

  783. head could have been the last one right like that, that that's

  784. what how it goes. So when you get persecuted, like

  785. you might be that last martyr. That'd be cool.

  786. They took Mike home. We're going like I'm just

  787. saying, you know, we get so just disrupted by this world.

  788. God's promises to fulfill the martyr's request.

  789. He says he actually says I'll wait a little longer.

  790. Those in present have been living into anticipation of a

  791. future filament of God's promises.

  792. Still sometimes you think, oh, the work is done though the work

  793. is not done, guys still in working redemption.

  794. And this is amazing because if you think about, you wait a

  795. little longer, think about this, there's time in the present

  796. heaven. The White Rd. martyrs asked God

  797. a time dependent question, How long Sovereign Lord?

  798. And the answer was that time is passing and they're eager for

  799. the coming day of the Lord's judgement.

  800. God answers they must wait a little longer until certain

  801. events to inspire on earth and waiting requires the passing of

  802. time. How did you guys do?

  803. There was actually time in heaven.

  804. Y'all thought like we're just going to not know anything.

  805. So this every time you read the scripture, you start seeing

  806. more. It's material, it's physical,

  807. there's time, matter and space and Jesus comes into our world

  808. of his creation and dwells with us.

  809. Amen. We're not slipping into some

  810. other world that we don't we're not familiar with at all.

  811. And I'll argue next week, I'll show you that actually we just

  812. return to the present earth, but it's resurrected.

  813. That'll blow your mind. Maybe blow my mind.

  814. I'll be the only person. It'll be great.

  815. The people of God in heaven have a strong familiar or family

  816. connection with those on earth who are called their fellow

  817. servants and brothers. It's pretty cool thing about the

  818. Saints in heaven are calling us brothers and sisters in Christ.

  819. Isn't that amazing? Like we're all one even though

  820. we're not in the same place. There's not a wall that

  821. separates the body of Christ or one family with those who've

  822. gone ahead of us. And after we go to heaven, we'll

  823. still be one family with those still on earth.

  824. We don't cease to be connected to each other.

  825. Amen. The body of Christ all united.

  826. Even though we're still in heaven and earth right now,

  827. we're all as one. Last thing is, this is pretty

  828. cool. God knows down to the last

  829. detail of all that's happening and will happen on earth,

  830. including every drop of blood that is shed and every bit of

  831. suffering undergone by His children.

  832. There are thousands, perhaps 10s of thousands who will die for

  833. Christ every single year. And God knows each and every one

  834. of their names and every story of each of them is exactly how

  835. many martyrs they will be. He's prepared to return and set

  836. up his Kingdom when the final martyr dies.

  837. It's pretty incredible, Amen. Sometimes they God just absent,

  838. like you spin a top and he just let things go and like, hey,

  839. here's evolution and just happened.

  840. We don't need God anymore, so we're just left to ourselves.

  841. There could not be farther from the truth.

  842. Amen. And He knows exactly every

  843. detail, every injustice, every pain.

  844. And so in your life, if it doesn't look the way you think

  845. it should be and you've been mistreated or abused or taken

  846. advantage over or under corruption or all these

  847. different situations you get to that bother us, guess what?

  848. God knows, and God knows the whole story.

  849. And His justice is firm, His right on his strong, and He'll

  850. do exactly what He needs to do Amen.

  851. I think is this time period we have this little dash of life

  852. between the dates like we need to get really emboldened for

  853. Christ, like we need to take the world by storm, Amen.

  854. Like we need to lift up our banner.

  855. We need to share Jesus and share heaven, but don't be worried

  856. about trying to fit into this world.

  857. Now this is only three verses the Bible, Amen, 3 verses, Amen.

  858. Gave you 3 pretty good three. Now if you look at this, you can

  859. say, well that's just true. The martyrs that are in heaven,

  860. but it would make no sense. This would not be true for every

  861. single person in heaven. This is the only argument you

  862. could ever make. I want to say this also on earth

  863. now, we were unaware of the things happening in heaven.

  864. But those people in heaven, the Saints before us, they are not

  865. unaware of what's happening on earth.

  866. They know exactly what's happening.

  867. We question, we doubt, we worry, We're looking through the Bible.

  868. We're trying to figure things out.

  869. We're trying to figure God's will.

  870. And you get to heaven, all of a sudden unite as one of these

  871. Saints of old. You're crying out to God.

  872. How long? Lord, we're waiting for this

  873. justice to happen. We know you work in redemption.

  874. I see that, but we see the things happen on earth.

  875. Can you imagine your family and friends and you stand at a

  876. casket? You're like, oh, they're

  877. watching me right now. Just I know you're watching that

  878. great comfort to know they're watching feels pretty good.

  879. I'll tell you what looks like last April, Easter, my daughter

  880. want to get baptized. Emory and I, I see her in the

  881. front and it's, it's kind of chaotic as a pastor when you're

  882. having Sundays in general, but just big Sundays.

  883. And so Dine's on stage, she's singing, I'm next to the

  884. baptistery getting ready. Emery's stand next to me.

  885. She's six years old. And I'm going to climb in and

  886. leave her by herself because I've got to go in and, and start

  887. yapping. Come on, somebody start telling

  888. everybody about all this stuff. And so she's by herself and she

  889. gets really, really nervous because mommy's on stage and

  890. daddy's in this big pool of water and there's nobody with

  891. her and she gets really nervous and she doesn't get baptized.

  892. I totally sat the way men like it was a real deal like this.

  893. OK, no big deal. Like I didn't know she wouldn't

  894. get baptized until she didn't go in the pool.

  895. I was like, OK, what happened? And she just wanted mom next to

  896. her. Amen.

  897. Like just Jesus where she's at, even write it out.

  898. My mom, mom, mom and Emery together in Thailand, right with

  899. some other they're going to go. But she said this, she said

  900. later. So Fast forward not much 6-8

  901. weeks not that far. She wanted there's a there's a

  902. great man of God named Bill that taught in elementary class and

  903. she wanted Bill to see her get baptized and she was really

  904. disappointed when he passed away that she wouldn't that he

  905. wouldn't get to see her get baptized.

  906. Although Bill going out with the blazing glory like he is, he

  907. taught the kids over and over again.

  908. Now he had no idea he was dying, but he taught the kids all the

  909. time. Don't worry about me because now

  910. I died. I'm going to jump into a big

  911. pool of chocolate pudding and I'll be swimming around.

  912. I mean, he he had this vision of heaven, man.

  913. And it was like the greatest place.

  914. So he's brought down the kids. It's even this amazing place.

  915. Don't worry about me. And so we're like, how we can

  916. tell the kids Bill passed away. So he pulled the kids aside on a

  917. Sunday morning and they said, hey, you know, Bill teaches.

  918. He passed away. And the first day of the mouth

  919. was, oh, man, he's swimming in the chocolate pudding pool.

  920. They were so excited for Bill, right?

  921. I mean, only Bill can line up an applause on the way out the door

  922. for heaven. Most people are like, oh, so

  923. sorry to hear that. Bless you, brother.

  924. Oh, he's swimming in chocolate pudding like Bill.

  925. But you know, he's watching, right?

  926. He's up there like this. He's got that face, right?

  927. You know what I'm talking about. So Emery, she gets gets to the

  928. end of the year, we baptized, but she want to do it in

  929. September. And then she's like, hey,

  930. because the way it worked out in the 20, the 28th, it was like a

  931. social right. So like dying could be down and

  932. out on stage doing all these things and mom's in with her.

  933. And so she's like, oh, I'll get baptized.

  934. So he gets baptized and I pull her side.

  935. I say, you know what, you're really cool in Marine.

  936. You probably don't know this yet.

  937. I'm going to let you know that even though you didn't have Bill

  938. physically here to watch you get baptized, Bill's in heaven and

  939. today he actually watched you get baptized.

  940. Is that cool? That's cool.

  941. That's the glory of God. Amen.

  942. If you start thinking about eternity now in terms of life

  943. and death, but life and life like it starts now and lasts

  944. forever, and you start living in heaven now and you have been

  945. bound. And one day you're going to

  946. heaven found and you start chaining yourself to the thing

  947. in the next World and you bring it to this world.

  948. And you stop acting like this all matters and start focusing

  949. on people and souls and stop looking down and start looking

  950. up. I promise you your world's going

  951. to be totally different and you're going to bring people

  952. with you. Amen.

  953. That was the series is all about.

  954. You'd be so moved by heaven that it changed the way you walk on

  955. earth. The death is an enemy that's

  956. defeated by God, and we continue on.

  957. The same personality, the same every the same, the same

  958. identity, different body. Hallelujah.

  959. Praise God, the same passion for Jesus, the same promise of God.

  960. It's still all true and all there.

  961. And we have to change our lives now for eternity.

  962. Come on, brother. How many guys learned something

  963. today? Show of hands, you guys learn

  964. someday. This is amazing.

  965. It's all there in the Bible and the world needs.

  966. I would encourage you this week, 10 days heavenly vision, heaven

  967. first. Let's give the world heaven.

  968. Give them heaven. Amen.

  969. Give them heaven. And amazing how you live.

  970. It may be the greatest picture of heaven somebody ever have.

  971. And we can teach them to show them by our attitude and our

  972. faith. They wake up.

  973. We're not like, oh man, there's less life ahead of me.

  974. You know what? There's eternity ahead of me,

  975. brother. So the worst you do, you should

  976. kill me now and I go, but the worst you do is I live till 99

  977. or 105, right? That's the worst that happens.

  978. So I'll encourage you guys, be bold in your faith and share

  979. Jesus and don't be afraid of what happens in this world.

  980. So Father, come before you. God, we thank you so much for

  981. eternity. God, we thank you for the Saints

  982. that are watching oh so curiously every Sunday.

  983. What's happening in the church, Bodies are being together.

  984. God, thank you for those who are gone before us, God, that

  985. they're praying for us so we have a glimpse into eternal

  986. premier scripture. I pray you embolden our faith.

  987. You give us knowledge and God over all today you just fill our

  988. hearts with eternity. You set our mind and our faith.

  989. God, we would not question or worry or be full anxiety or

  990. fear, but we know exactly where we're going.

  991. Embolden us, God, to share your gospel and to tell the world

  992. that heaven is watching. I'll pray for one group of

  993. people in the house. That's those you'd say you know

  994. what, today I need heaven. It'd be a bummer to hear all

  995. these messages on heaven and actually not go there.

  996. So I would encourage you today there's only one way to heaven.

  997. It's through the name of Jesus. Else there's no other name under

  998. heaven which men are saved by the name of Jesus.

  999. He's the way truth and life. No man come to the Father but

1000. through him that if you're going to go to the Father comes with

1001. the Son. The only way to heaven is

1002. through Jesus. It's what do you believe about

1003. Jesus? Do you believe that died on the

1004. cross for your sins and made away he took all of your wrongs,

1005. changed all his rights. What will you do with Jesus

1006. since day if you need Jesus and you call to Christ when you have

1007. Jesus, you also get heaven. It's a package deal.

1008. And so if you need Christ today, you need to extend your life and

  1009. you've met you're a Sinner needed Savior.

1010. If that's you, we just raise your hand high this place I need

1011. Jesus today. I need heaven today.

1012. I must see your hand must leave heaven and see your hand see

1013. your hand, your hand. It's amazing to talk about

  1014. heaven. It's so good.

1015. Amen. And for those of you who need

1016. having the day, this prayer I'm gonna lead you through does not

1017. save you, but just your heart towards him.

1018. Heart of humility, heart of servanthood, heart of obedience.

1019. Just crowd to God to say this. Thank you Father, for making a

1020. way for me to go to heaven through your son, Jesus.

1021. God, I'm a Sinner and need of a savior.

1022. I'm a broken vessel. God, I've built my life on sand

1023. and it's been shaken before but today I build my life on Jesus.

1024. I'll call to you as my Lord and Savior.

1025. God changed my life. God give me heaven.

1026. God give me your spirit. God forgive me.

1027. I trust you. You died for my sins.

1028. I prayed in Jesus name and the church said Amen and heaven is

  1029. cheering right now. Amen.

1030. Come on. Man, what a word today.

1031. I, I think I say this every week, but my mind just blown man

1032. today, just even thinking about what got to me in the message is

1033. just that how aware heaven is of what's going on here on earth

1034. and that they are actually praying for us.

1035. Man, that just so good. I mean, some of you recognize

1036. today that the heaven is real, that Jesus is looking for you,

1037. that he's searching for you and you found him today.

1038. He found you. You ultimately found heaven this

1039. morning. And if that's you and you raised

1040. your hand and you prayed that prayer this morning.

1041. I mean, we are so excited for you as you are walking out this

1042. journey with Jesus and we would love to know that decision just

1043. to help you on your walk with him.

1044. So if you would grab that connection card that's at your

1045. seat, you can fill out the information there in that top

1046. section. Just make sure and check that

1047. box that says I committed my life to Jesus.

1048. And you can drop that in the giving buckets as they pass here

1049. in just a few minutes. And just by doing that allows us

1050. to get you some resources this week.

1051. The first one is a free book. It's called begin.

1052. It's a short little book, but man, it is powerful.

1053. It truly is packed with a lot of good things.

1054. We'll help you know and follow Jesus this week.

1055. As you're walking that out and as you leave the worship center,

1056. there is a table with some red bags.

1057. Please grab one of those as well.

1058. There's a free Bible in there and a few other resources as

1059. well. That truly will be just a

1060. blessing to you. We would love to get to that to

1061. you this week. And hey, if you are newer in the

1062. house with us today, if this is your first time here, thank you

1063. so much for coming. We're so glad that you came

1064. today. I know that you heard something

1065. from God this morning. And so we're so glad that you're

1066. here. We really don't want anything

1067. from you today except just to introduce yourself to us.

1068. You can do that simply by grabbing that same connection

1069. card. Fill out your information there

1070. and check first time here on that as well.

1071. You can drop that in the giving buckets too.

1072. Or also as you exit the worship center, just to your right,

1073. there is a new here booth as well.

1074. Somebody would be out there would love to take that card

1075. from you, introduce them themselves to you and get you a

1076. free gift as well. And we would just love to see

1077. you back here with us next week as well.

1078. Man, talking about this Heaven series, it has been so cool just

1079. to hear all the questions that come out of this from all of you

1080. guys. And just to see people leaning

1081. in, grabbing their Bible, like, man, I got to go home and check

1082. this out. It's been so cool, man.

1083. Sean shared that four people accepted Jesus last year or last

1084. year, last week, and we've had nine people so far in 2026 start

1085. a relationship with Jesus, which is so awesome.

1086. I mean, when you think about it, truly the best part of church is

1087. the people. I mean, it's the people who know

1088. you, who support you, who show up with you, who walk with you.

  1089. That's truly what it's all about.

1090. And what's really cool if you think about the relationships

1091. that you have here on earth, the relationships with the people

1092. you have here in the church, those who know Christ, I mean,

1093. those aren't just relationships for right now, but those truly

1094. are heavenly relationships. Those are relationships for

1095. eternity. Man, that fires me up to know

1096. that and to get behind that. And so man, don't wait to make

1097. some heavenly relationships and relationships and friendships

1098. that last into eternity. And we have some ways for you to

1099. do that. And that's through life groups.

1100. They really are a place where you can intentionally grow and

1101. deepen your faith, where you can make some heavenly

1102. relationships. And what's cool, this semester

1103. we're doing something new as well.

1104. That's the way life groups. So if you're intentionally

1105. looking to grow deeper in your faith to, to grow deeper in your

1106. walk with God, we used to have some just amazing leaders who

1107. are ready who are excited to walk with you to help you grow

1108. in your faith. So whether you're new, maybe

1109. you're just feeling disconnected in this season, or hey, maybe

1110. you're just looking to do something more to dive in a

1111. little deeper. We have a group for you and they

1112. are going to launch in person Sunday, February 1st, but they

1113. are live for signups right now. So you can scan that QR code,

1114. It'll take you over to our website.

1115. Also out in the hub, you can check out our life groups wall.

1116. You'll see all of our life groups there as well.

1117. I mean, this is my encouragement.

1118. Don't wait, don't wait to make some heavenly relationships,

1119. some friendship to help you know God even deeper this spring.

1120. I'm talking about the people, man.

1121. Yeah. The best part of church has

1122. always been the people. And for those of us who are here

1123. and who know Jesus, man, that is exciting.

1124. That is exciting. That pumps me up.

1125. But think about the the community we're in, the city

1126. we're in, the world, the other people that need to know Jesus.

1127. They need the good news of what we have.

1128. And so we would love for you guys just to partner with us.

1129. Together. We can see more souls saved and

1130. sent out to know Jesus. We would love for you to partner

1131. with us to see more people know Jesus.

1132. And so if you call real life home, there are a lot of ways

1133. that you can do that. You can scan that QR code that's

1134. going to be up on the screen there.

1135. You can also head on over to our website,

1136. reallifechurchkc.com/give. The giving buckets are going to

1137. pass here as well. You can drop cash or check in

  1138. there. Also.

1139. There's a giving box in the back.

1140. You can drop cash or check in that as well if that is more

1141. convenient for you. And as always, as these buckets

1142. pass here in just a minute, if you or your family find yourself

1143. in any kind of immediate need today, maybe it's food or

1144. clothing or shelter as they pass, please reach in and grab

1145. any loose cash that you see. We really do want to bless you

1146. and help you this week. Let's pray, Father, thank you

1147. God, just for how good you are. And God, I just pray that you

1148. would help us to have eternity in my Father, to focus on things

  1149. above, on heavenly relationships.

1150. Father, I'm bringing more people in to know you so that they can

1151. too know about heaven and that you are for them.

1152. So God, I just pray you bless what's given today.

1153. God, would you use it? Would you multiply it to see

1154. more people come to know you? God, we love you, we praise you.

1155. It's in your holy name that we pray.

  1156. Amen. Amen.

1157. What a what a morning, right? What a sermon.

1158. I have a challenge for you guys. Now's the part where we actually

1159. go out and apply everything we've been talking about.

1160. And now is the part where we really think, how can I make

1161. this more than just a cool message that I heard on Sunday?

1162. You could really start to think about what you're going to do

1163. with this. And that's why I'd encourage you

1164. to follow along with us on the social media campaign, the

1165. social media campaign, 10 Days of Heaven.

1166. And through this campaign, we're going to be looking about how we

1167. can actually integrate this thinking of heaven into our

1168. lives. You're going to be challenged to

1169. to look. When your marriage doesn't feel

1170. as as strong as it should, look to heaven.

1171. When your kids aren't listening to the degree you think they

1172. should be listening, look to heaven.

1173. When your family feels like it's just falling apart, look to

1174. heaven. This idea that that heaven is a

1175. response to our earthly struggles is deeply biblical in

1176. my opinion. I'm getting ready after church

1177. today. I'm having a Bible study with

1178. some of my friends and one of my friends chose Ecclesiastes to go

1179. through. And in Ecclesiastes you see this

1180. mode that one of the most vulnerable and honest struggles

1181. of somebody just talking and working his way through the

1182. issues of earth. But the only hope in my opinion

1183. that we need is found in Ecclesiastes 3, where it says

1184. that in the hearts of man God has placed eternity.

1185. And when you understand, you understand the gospel.

1186. And when you understand the gospel, the good news gets a lot

1187. better. So I'd encourage you all to tell

1188. everyone about this. Follow along on the social media

1189. campaign, follow us on on Instagram, Facebook, at Real

1190. Life Church KC Follow along with us and tell somebody about

1191. heaven and give them the gospel to its fullest extent.

1192. If you need somebody to talk to, we're going to have somebody

1193. down here with you to pray. Otherwise, I'll let you all get

1194. here next week at 9:00 or 10:45. And remember, whoever finds

1195. Jesus discovers real life and purpose.

1196. See you guys next week.
