I thought you had to preach a funeral there for a second.
-
I'll do for free though, Barry. It's all good, my friend. 5
-
bucks. I like that.
-
I just got to know, guys, do you believe in miracles?
-
I mean, come on, somebody, right?
-
I mean, holy smokes, I go back and forth like just the emotions
-
are insane this week. And I just listened to the
-
worship team. Just tears in my eyes for God's
-
grace and his power and provision.
-
And we're going to walk through just miracles a day.
-
And I want to start just recently, Easter Sunday.
-
I mean, there were so many miracles on Easter Sunday.
-
This is incredible. And you cannot get past this.
-
Come on, somebody. We had eight people start a
-
relationship with Jesus on Easter Sunday right here at Real
-
Life Church. Come on, dude.
-
I can't think of a better way to end a series in heaven than
-
actually people getting there. Amen.
-
I mean This is why we exist. I mean, there are souls that
-
need Jesus and you can't have Jesus by heaven have not Jesus,
-
right? And to actually put their faith
-
and trust in Christ and it never gets old to me.
-
So I've never forgotten what it's like to actually be that
-
person that sat in that seat and heard the gospel the first time
-
and just breaks my heart. There was so many people need
-
Christ, but man so thankful that God is using our church Amen.
-
We had five people commit recommit their life to Jesus and
-
I mean that's incredible as well.
-
I mean you have people are like recognizing I'm living my own
-
path. I'm living less than God's best.
-
I'm wrapped up in a false identity or false way of life
-
and I'm just going all into Jesus like a surrender moment.
-
Absolutely amazing Amen. So you have 13 people that came
-
on Sunday that said I'm drastically changing my through
-
the power of Christ. So I'll go to God Amen.
-
It's just can't give it up. Man, just can't, cannot get past
-
that. Just some highlights.
-
It's, it's just incredible. We had over 50 connection cards
-
which represent over 100 people that are new to our church so we
-
could connect with follow up, love on, share the gospel, cheer
-
them on. We had 13 people baptized, Amen.
-
Amazing. I know you guys are back today.
-
See a lot of you guys and some of the people that came out.
-
Man, it was amazing to, to talk to people.
-
By the way, I was praying for her family.
-
You guys been praying for, for Heather and their family.
-
Well, guess who came out Easter Sunday?
-
Heather and her family. Amen.
-
So answer the prayer, right? And I mean, so many stories, but
-
people came in that were coming out of some church, heard in
-
different situations and literally in tears because of
-
how welcomed and loved they felt last week.
-
I mean, amazing. Like they just felt it from you
-
guys. You guys became like the, the
-
whole hospitality welcoming team and they could just feel it.
-
And there's cultures and churches, you know, you can feel
-
like, you know, the weight or like the weight lifted off and
-
just to see that it's like, it's just all glory to God.
-
But it's because God's using you guys's grace and your, your,
-
your ability to love people. So it's cool to see that.
-
And then we had families. There's a whole Rd. that came
-
out or two. There's a family of 23 people
-
cheering something on getting baptized.
-
And the feedback was, but we absolutely loved it and they
-
were excited to be preached from the Bible.
-
And I thought, man, that's kind of sad, you know what I'm
-
saying? Like what church you've been
-
going to brother? Like what else are they sharing?
-
You know, but I was like, we'll take it, man.
-
I just thank you Jesus right from the word, Amen.
-
And there's families that came out last week that hadn't been
-
in years and that came out to your Sunday.
-
I just want to say thank you guys for, for inviting, but also
-
for caring people here to real life church, caring people to
-
Jesus. We talked about that, that that
-
paralyzed man that the four friends brought and you guys did
-
it. Amen.
-
I mean, you think about this. We had 13 people playing your
-
visit that showed up and walked around everything.
-
We had a record Sunday attendance.
-
We we have never been in the six hundreds and last week we were
-
in the seven hundreds. This is like, thank you, Jesus.
-
Like we're skipping. And it's been that way all year.
-
Honestly, it's been really amazing.
-
Like if you look at last year to year, like week to week, it's
-
been up 15 or 20%. Easter was up 23% over last
-
Easter. And that's all glory to God.
-
Amen. So there's just miracles.
-
I mean, just you guys and God doing it.
-
You know, we're just trying to stay all the way and say God
-
just move and just keep preaching the word and be
-
faithful to what he's doing. So I also want to celebrate a
-
few things this last Saturday, I guess that's yesterday.
-
It's been a long week. Yesterday, wow, feels like I
-
liked him ago. We had real life men, did an
-
amazing job serving our city so well.
-
We had about 30 guys come out to the Hope Center in the morning
-
and I'll show some of these pictures.
-
We broke into groups and went out.
-
This is the group that went to Hard In Hand.
-
There's some new guys have been coming out here as well.
-
Next picture. They did some shelving in the
-
the basement, some different things in the building.
-
Hard hands, an amazing ministry in the city.
-
Just giving back and caring for people.
-
Give it up for them. By the way, come on, somebody,
-
and there'll be more opportunities with them.
-
Got a great chance to meet some of the guys I didn't know there.
-
They've some new leaders and stuff and they have opportunity
-
there to serve. And so we'll send people.
-
Amen. And he's like, you guys got some
-
trades. I'm like, yeah, a little bit.
-
A little bit. Yeah, we can might do that, you
-
know, next picture. So here, here's another crew
-
going out. Man, I love look at Rick.
-
Rick's the guy in all black. Come on, somebody.
-
If you need somebody to take somebody out, you know you're
-
going to go to war. That's your man, dude.
-
High and tight. He's got the hat on, but high
-
and tight. Marine, Come on.
-
Semper Fi. He's right.
-
He's back there. It's real crazy.
-
Look at you, man. You're like, we're like, man, we
-
serve. Just love it.
-
All right, next picture. Look at these guys.
-
So, yeah, there's two different crews here.
-
We show up to a house and I'm not going to name who it was,
-
but it's Patty Dizzell, and this is her floor mat.
-
Check this out. Turn around.
-
Unless you bring brought wine. Come on somebody.
-
So I walked in. I was like, hey, I brought the
-
wine. Come on in, pastor.
-
Oh, it's like that's great. That's the best floor mat.
-
She's probably embarrassed I put on there, but all right, next.
-
So there's all sorts of stuff the guys did.
-
I mean, and you may think, oh, that's just small, just that
-
dude. It means the world, the people
-
you're serving. There are people that we serve
-
that just going through health stuff, family stuff, you know,
-
somebody might want to call. I know we have old school terms
-
shut insurance like they can't make it out.
-
And so I said, who can we serve? Well, let's serve people in our
-
community. Give them back and people in our
-
church that made you a hand up. And the guys did fantastic.
-
And I only give a big shout out to the guys came out.
-
But also I don't know. There he is Scott Jermaine.
-
This was his heart, his passion led the way put together.
-
So give it up for the the bald, the beautiful right here.
-
Scott Jermaine. Yeah, fantastic team.
-
So all glory to God, Amen. And those are miracles in the
-
making, right. And then you you might have
-
heard about the Belden Cinema 8 May heard a little bit about
-
that. Oh man, that was it is like been
-
flying a kite in the hurricane of God's goods and grace.
-
I mean, I've never been so extended.
-
Like what is happening? You know, I'm usually I'm like
-
the excel guy, you know, I'm usually like, let's have this
-
planned out. And it has been moving so
-
quickly. But between like conversations
-
and contract, we're talking like 12 days.
-
Like it is insane. Like how God is sets up, we'll
-
talk about it, but I don't go back all the way to how this
-
started, right? Like because I think God
-
doesn't. I think God trying to bless
-
everybody, but I think the ones who can take opportunity, the
-
ones are ready for it. The ones are looking for it.
-
We talk about this lot, right? Seeing what everybody sees and
-
do what no one does, like being prepared.
-
Well, we've been preparing for a season and I'll go back like in
-
time just a little bit to last would have been I believe it
-
have been October and we launched a little series called
-
Difference Maker and right before that series, we actually
-
did a series. You guys remember the first
-
series was on that good, huh? I'll give you a hint, Mark 928.
-
You'll remember when I say this. And when he, Jesus had come into
-
the house, his disciples asked him probably, why could we not
-
cast it out talking about a demon?
-
And he said that then this kind can come out by nothing but
-
prayer. And you guys remember that
-
series we did, We did a whole like section of time where every
-
week we're like, man, we're going to prayer and fast and
-
we're going to prayer and fast. And that led the way.
-
And it is just only certain things that happen through
-
prayer and fasting. So if you talk about a miracle
-
that happens, miracles are always preceded by prayer and
-
fasting. Like every revival, every
-
awakening, everything of God's move always comes because
-
somebody's on their knees and it's somebody starving to death
-
for God's glory. Somebody wants God more than
-
anything else. And we, we, we, I don't know if
-
you remember that, but that glory to God, Amen.
-
Like there's something for your soul that can only happen to
-
parent fasting, that there, there's identity there there's a
-
confidence that there, there's a boldness.
-
We are outside of our league because of Jesus, Amen?
-
But why not, right? Does he not own everything, does
-
not control everything? Like we, we need him.
-
We just need our ability and my talent and my whatever is he, he
-
needs. We just need to rely on him and
-
his strength and his power. And that's what fasting and
-
prayer does. And so does something your soul
-
does something to your family. We talked about that, but we
-
talked about it does something for our church.
-
And it's only through prayer and fasting that revival happens,
-
that God's power is there. And we pray for this
-
specifically, we prayed that God would give us divine
-
appointments and would give us divine favor.
-
You guys were praying for that. God did it.
-
Amen. He did it like there, there's no
-
way that this deal comes together because we had some
-
kind of math and it just was like going to work it.
-
It happened because God moved in somebody's heart and God moved
-
somebody else's heart. And then this person was
-
generous and this person brought connection and this person
-
helped out and all of a sudden there's something happening
-
that's only because Jesus can do it.
-
Amen. Like, I feel like what is
-
happening right now, God is showing off because he's the
-
only person that could ever get the glory for what has just
-
happened. There's nobody else.
-
Like he can't be like, man, that that that board, that staff team
-
or this like, dude, it's only Jesus.
-
Amen. And so I think there's something
-
a little different today. I can feel it.
-
I can feel the connection, the energy.
-
I mean, there's pep in the step put even putting the stairs on
-
that Barry almost died on. You know, people were excited,
-
you know, Whoo, yeah, man. And I started thinking as like,
-
you know, in, in some ways, like we've been counting, like how
-
far we've gone, like this is, I don't know.
-
You've been tracking how many steps we've been doing.
-
You're OK. Yeah, it's over 400, right?
-
Like, so like we've pulled up every two trailers for over 400
-
plus times. And I today I walked up and I
-
thought this may be the beginning of the end of pulling
-
up a trailer. Is that crazy to think about?
-
Like you can like start counting down.
-
I'm like, oh, dude. And I'm back here in the worst
-
being started. And it kind of hit me and I'm
-
like, man, I just can't believe it.
-
You know, I'm just like absolute shock, like crying back here,
-
just like, dude, I'm, I'm lost, you know, like I, I honestly
-
don't know. I'm so unprepared today for what
-
God's doing. And, and I think it's just
-
amazing. Amen.
-
Just to be a part of the story. And so we've been praying, you
-
know, and we prayed for this. We prayed to secure our first
-
permanent space, secure our first permanent space.
-
And there's been a lot of different ideas.
-
And I've honestly, I've looked at probably every space in town.
-
I've done a lot of been a lot of things and seen a lot of things.
-
I've looked at every space. If you were to take a map and
-
you're like laid out on the floor and you said, Lord, if
-
there's any building we could have, you'd ask God for a
-
building. You would have asked God for the
-
Belden SIM 8. Like there is no other space
-
that is a better space. I mean, it's set up for
-
assembly. It's an icon in the city.
-
And God in his grace and mercy, through divine favor and
-
gracious of people, has allowed us the opportunity to step into
-
that space. It's insane.
-
I mean, God, glory to God, Amen. And so if you're here today and
-
you're like, what is this guy talking about?
-
Because maybe one person. Is there anybody who did not
-
know that this has happened yet? Dude, right there.
-
Come on. Yes, Julian's like this, like
-
the mom, the only one. Well, I was going to replay the
-
video if you missed it. So this is for Julian.
-
So check it out. Give it up for.
-
Julian Real Life Church and I'm so excited and humbled that I
-
can officially announce that we're under contract with Belden
-
Cinema 8 Mitchell Theatre right behind me.
-
How incredible. This place is an answer to
-
prayer. I've literally been praying for
-
this space that our church could be in it since 2016.
-
If you're back, if you're on our team, back.
-
Over my shoulder. At the Hope Center and you guys
-
been praying and fasting. We sat in the room and we said,
-
hey, one day man, you guys are going to plant seeds and God's
-
going to move. Well, this is what God is
-
growing. How absolutely amazing this is
-
25,000 square feet. It's got 8 theaters.
-
This place to do ministry and expand and just be a light not
-
just to our community but around the world.
-
You might ask why Mitchell Theatre and this place really
-
dropped in our lap. We saw this theater post out
-
that they were closing down in August and then moving on from
-
some development in town. We thought, man, let's just
-
reach out and see what God may do.
-
And by their graciousness and God's grace through Brian
-
Mitchell and Willie, their team, they want to give us back to
-
some of the community that's giving back, that's serving,
-
that's making a difference, and can be a light and difference
-
maker for years and decades to come.
-
And so God just made a move and we're so grateful for these
-
guys. I want to give a shout to
-
Willie, man. He's been praying for God to use
-
this theater as they were moving out.
-
And it's really answer their prayer for him.
-
It's also prayer for answer prayer for us.
-
And so we're super excited for what God's going to do.
-
You might ask what's next? One, I would say celebrate,
-
thank God's on the move. This is like a Red Sea crossing
-
for us. I would just say celebrate
-
taking the moment. This is going to be historic for
-
life, for a church and really for the King of God moving
-
forward. Two, I would say pray there is
-
still hurls across. You've got inspections and due
-
diligence. Pray for divine favor.
-
We got architects, designers, engineers, you know, GC Subs,
-
all the things, a lot of extra work and energy on the team and
-
just pray for wisdom, divine favor, strength and just clarity
-
and direction as we design and lead in this space.
-
And then last thing I'd say is to be giving be a part of what
-
God is doing here. I know you guys made all
-
difference as difference makers and we stepped.
-
Out by faith. So we can change there forever
-
and this place is going to change a lot of there forevers.
-
You can imagine initially goes out.
-
And so if you're a difference maker, I'll say thank you.
-
If you've not yet stepped in, there'll be a link in this video
-
below the video and you can begin to give and just cheer on
-
the things of God and sow some seeds literally at the ground
-
floor for God to move. And we're getting more clear on
-
this on Sunday. I feel like I'm a just caught up
-
with a a kite and a hurricane of grace.
-
I mean, it's it's incredible guys doing.
-
And so we're going to mind hard round this.
-
This moves so fast. That's so cool, and we're going
-
to be at Kentucky Trail at 91040.
-
Five and just leaning in and celebrating big what God is
-
doing Legit legit. That's the first time I've seen
-
the video. So nice job, Julian.
-
That's that's the project, man. It's just God's goodness.
-
Amen. I mean, I, I'm still just in
-
shock just even seeing it and it's quite just a blessing what
-
God's going to do. So what that looks like right
-
now, we are in the process of inspections.
-
Due diligence gives us the ability we we need to or want
-
to, we can walk away from the deal.
-
There is zero part of me that thinks that's a good idea, but
-
we're looking at, you know, obviously parking lot HVAC, roof
-
infrastructure, that kind of stuff.
-
But thank you, Jesus. I mean, what an amazing time it
-
is like I just thought, man, I told Holly the team I was like,
-
man, I've I've yet to be the season of ministry where it has
-
been so much like out ahead of us and God is doing so many
-
incredible things. It is just a special time.
-
I just thank God for it. And so I've been dreaming about
-
this space. Like I've been just thinking
-
like, you know, God, what can we do in this space?
-
And so let me cast a little little vision that's on my
-
heart. I'm not I'm not saying this is
-
going to be turnkey. We're walking in.
-
Amen, God can make another miracles.
-
Amen. But but, but I'm just saying,
-
let me, let me just like tell you what I'm seeing.
-
So some of y'all are going to go to the movies tonight.
-
I'm going to see what you're thinking on this, but I'm
-
thinking of walking in and that first theorem left, big theater
-
like worship center, next theater, worship center
-
expansion, right, Put 2 together as one.
-
I'm thinking the right theater, like man, let's turn into the
-
big hub. We hang.
-
That's the hang right. We do a little coffee shop up
-
front, up front, you know where the concessions are.
-
We do kids ministry in the second, third theater.
-
Like we got room to go up. It's tall as this building, you
-
know, if we got to go to 2nd floor down the road, right?
-
But I'm thinking walk into the hub and there's a community
-
space, right? Like there's so many people in
-
the community are dying for an event space, place to put
-
tables, chairs, like APA, I'm talking about all sorts of
-
stuff. But you could use that.
-
Community becomes part of the building, make that available to
-
them. Now I'm going to dream a little
-
bigger. Now we're like put an entrance
-
on a side by PetSmart, do some stuff outside for fun, bring
-
some food trucks in, have some some community life people come
-
in, hang out, that kind of thing.
-
Kids space. This is way big.
-
If someone wants to write the check for this would be amazing.
-
Amen. But I'm like, all right, put
-
some glass on the side of the theater.
-
We're going to walk into big kids entrance.
-
And then the glass, you can see this awesome like tunnel town
-
kind of world where it's like, that's going to be really fun.
-
If I can get a part of that. So kids may play a part of what
-
God's doing and then kids come in and go life changing spaces
-
and rooms. We have an amazing kids team
-
that love Jesus and kids love Jesus.
-
By the way, I will tell you on Easter Sunday, we found out that
-
this building, it's not maxing out at this space, it's actually
-
the kids space. Just want you to know, there
-
were sixty kids in the second hour elementary class in a
-
library that's portable. Come on, somebody so great
-
problem to have parking. We had three deep cars up in the
-
grass. I didn't know we had to help
-
people how to park. But if you were one of those
-
people, like they'd park back-to-back to back and people
-
are trying to find a way out of this place.
-
So essentially all I'm saying is we can't do three anymore
-
without doing more spaces. So we had to be 4 on Easter to
-
be in this building. So it just it's just crazy, like
-
what a whirlwind of issues to have.
-
But look at that space and like, well, how can we do ministers
-
really, really well here? And one of the options that has
-
really been on the table behind the scenes, it's not in the
-
contract. So I'm just going to put us out
-
to pray for it. But the ability to actually
-
leave some space there for some theaters and it's been behind
-
the scenes and been conversation.
-
Why don't you pray for that? Because that'd be an amazing
-
deal for us to invite the community in to play part of
-
that story. And they could come in and
-
enjoy, you know, you can leave church and be like, Hey, I'm
-
going to catch a movie, right? But be a great way to to serve
-
the community. But it'd have to work out like
-
got asked to do some divine favor appointments on that.
-
There's chairs, there's projectors, there's all sorts of
-
stuff that happens on that. But we're just asking God to
-
move. Amen.
-
I mean, we had nothing to do with this.
-
I mean, you back up two weeks ago, we're like, get ready for
-
Easter. And now it's like 2 different
-
worlds. So I'll just be praying for
-
that. Be praying for, you know, God to
-
give us asphalt that price. Come on, somebody pray for to
-
ask for a gift for free. We'll pay for a price up again,
-
but just for miracles right Divine favorite divine
-
appointments to move the needle and I just know got to do some
-
very special stuff in this space and I can see life change happen
-
there. I can see community life happen
-
there. I can see young people being
-
sent from there. It's really cool behind the
-
scenes, not about the space. We we're literally at the same
-
time the same time this is happening.
-
We're talking to ministries in Thailand about to bring the
-
gospel to different villages and meeting with people in Cairo in
-
Lebanon to take ministries there and do underground church there.
-
We've we have real connections that we were out there last
-
year. And I'm like, Laura, this is so
-
amazing. What if this building was the
-
beginning of like a movement that went across the world?
-
Like what if we like trained gay men?
-
Dude, give it up for that, right?
-
Like it's cool reaching our community, but how can we use
-
this to like church planting residency through our church,
-
Like having space for that, having office space.
-
I mean, it's just, it's just absolutely amazing.
-
And how incredible that you could walk in like 2 minutes
-
from the Hope Center next door to the movie theater.
-
Amen. And so I will say, thank God,
-
it's just been so good. We, we walked through a series,
-
our first difference Maker series and we went through
-
numbers 13. I was to remind you guys of what
-
we asked God for and it was that moment where they go into the
-
promised land. And it was really one of those
-
moments where they, it was like a holy moment, right?
-
It, it's a moment like that sets up.
-
We're going to stay in the woods for 40 years ago in and they,
-
they, this is kind of a once in duration moment.
-
We talked about you guys remember that and they sent the
-
spies in, they sent all 12 in and, and they, they're like,
-
this is flowing milk and honey. It's beautiful, it's amazing.
-
And then two of them are like, we should do it.
-
And 10, we're like, we're afraid.
-
And this is what we talked about.
-
If you remember back in #13 it says they, this is the spies.
-
They get Moses account. We went into land in which you
-
sent us. It does flow with milk and
-
honey. It said here, here is its fruit.
-
But the people who live there, they're powerful.
-
The cities are fortified, they're very large.
-
And we're, we even saw this sense of Anarch there, that
-
Amalekites live in the give and Hittites and Jebusites.
-
Amorites live in the Hill Country and the canines live
-
near the sea and along the Jordan.
-
And they were paralyzed with fear.
-
And we talked about what it takes to have faith.
-
And for most people, vision and faith ends at the first obstacle
-
or opposition. Most dreams die in the safety of
-
our minds. The dreams just end because it
-
got hard. It got difficult.
-
People didn't believe in it. Didn't they recognize some
-
people didn't believe in our dream on social media.
-
Anybody see that? Dude?
-
Thank you, Jesus. Amen.
-
I mean, I don't know. I'm not perturbed.
-
I'm tickled to death. I think it's amazing.
-
Like, I mean, you are saying it, right?
-
Like, man, you might, you remember Pirates of the
-
Caribbean, You're the worst pirate ever heard of.
-
It's like, but you have heard of me, Amen.
-
I mean, you know what? If people have critical opinion,
-
hey man, we're praying for them. We've outlasted critics.
-
It don't bother me. I didn't even read it.
-
Honestly. It's like Lord just use it
-
because somebody says something and then somebody else reads it
-
and he goes, I didn't know about that.
-
There's a church coming in and God will use it.
-
Amen. Like I don't it doesn't bother
-
me at all. I'm tickled to death.
-
I think it's amazing. But this is what happens.
-
There's there's people that are just seeing fear and seeing
-
obstacles. And then Joshua and Caleb will
-
step in Numbers 1330. It says, and Caleb signs the
-
people for Moses and said, what should we we should go up and
-
take possession land for we can what we can what it's on the
-
screen. I don't think it is.
-
You guys didn't memorize Numbers 1330 for we can what?
-
Help me out? We can certainly do it right.
-
And if God's in it, then what can stop it?
-
And that's what they're saying. Like we saw God part the Red
-
Sea. I mean, if this is the
-
opportunity puts in front of us, like, who can really say no?
-
Like, why not go? And they had they had this the
-
vision to see past the obstacles and the the faith to see past
-
the problems. Yeah, there's going to be
-
obstacles. Amen.
-
And and, and, and sadly, like in my world, in my level of
-
leadership, most people around me, they see a little too small,
-
just real honest with you. Like it's just what it is.
-
Like there's just not a lot of great men and women of faith
-
that see beyond the problems that exist.
-
But I'm just choosing to. Amen.
-
I just choose to see a little further.
-
I'm not saying I have the best faith in the world, but just a
-
little further to what God can actually do through a space like
-
this. Some people saw giants, other
-
people saw God's promises. It's pretty interesting.
-
Like we talked about how this worked out, like we had
-
personally thought the deal was the virtual theater are been
-
bought by Petra. Like we're like, oh, it's gone,
-
you know, but we're like, well, maybe we have a chance to to
-
rent it out, you know, and maybe down the road that he comes to
-
us or something. It became very apparent through
-
social media that was not the case.
-
And so we saw what everybody else saw.
-
There's a theater that's closing down.
-
There's an opportunity in front of us and we did what no one
-
else won't do. And we just reached out.
-
Amen, just reached out and said, is there an opportunity?
-
And it just started coming together.
-
I mean, it's just there's a little bit of wisdom of like
-
we've been preparing, we've been looking, We we saw everybody
-
else was kind of looking around and we saw and said, God maybe
-
just use this and God moved in people's hearts and put this
-
together. Amen.
-
So it's just this is kind of a Kayla and Joshua type of faith,
-
right? They believed like we could have
-
a new home there. Like we put our family there,
-
like this place is fruit and honey.
-
Like there's potential, there's new life on the promised land.
-
Like they saw that and like we're willing to go and we
-
recognize when we did this message that and you may know
-
this, but they're the only two people ever to make it from that
-
generation into the promised land, Amen.
-
So for us today, this is like a once in duration type of moment,
-
Amen. I mean, it really is like you're
-
going to look at the back in time, like remember we used to
-
be at that school. Do you remember that?
-
Were you from those days? Right, That was me here.
-
Put the popping print, you know, like you're going to, you know,
-
we're doing the building. I'll be getting more and more
-
less hair. We see every time I see pastors
-
and building initiatives, I'm like, you'll be on the building,
-
man, I can tell, right? It's just good, though.
-
I mean, this is good, but by faith, like it's a one
-
generation type moment. We, we committed to this.
-
We decide not to be people who sell it for the wilderness.
-
You guys remember that we're we're not going to be in the
-
wilderness. We've been doing portable for
-
almost 9 years. Oh, by the way, I forgot to say
-
this. So the contract, you probably
-
know when does that actually happen?
-
So and it'll be cut back, but they're going to keep the movies
-
open through through the summer. We got big blockbuster hits and
-
stuff. August comes, they're going to
-
start winding down late August. I'm not sure the date they're
-
actually closing, but our paperwork closes on the 15th of
-
September, 2 days before our 9th birthday.
-
Is that credible? And I wish you would have looked
-
at that, because I've been. Like let's just move it to the
-
17th. Brother, you know what I mean?
-
But God is good. So nine years like in the
-
wilderness and we're like, maybe we can, maybe we're not doing 9
-
more like God will make a way. God will make an opportunity.
-
We're like, we're not going to be a status quo.
-
We're not going to be apathetic. Like we're going to move
-
forward. And I don't know about you, but
-
like I'm ready for a miracle. Like, and not just like in a
-
building, because the building is a building.
-
I'm ready for the miracle to happen in people's lives.
-
Like I'm ready for people to come to Christ.
-
Like I'm so ready for people to be sent out from our church.
-
You don't even understand like the need for the gospel to be
-
going across the world like you, you don't even see it yet.
-
And there's just so much opportunity for us to make an
-
impact here. So make an impact there.
-
And then your family and friends can know Christ and we can
-
disciple them and grow them and send them out in gospel
-
planting. Like who cares what they do?
-
I mean, there's some of you guys here today.
-
I see you that are like, dude, I'm just hungry for the gospel.
-
Send me, use me. Like come, come, come under the
-
tree for a while and then like be sent out or how we're going
-
to do it, right? Like, who cares?
-
We don't own anything, Amen. If today's not proof that we own
-
nothing, I don't know what is. And so we just kind of say just
-
Jesus, right? And for some of you today in the
-
room, like you've been able to look for a miracle, like you may
-
be looking for a church, you're looking for God, you're looking
-
for the right place, you're looking for freedom.
-
You found it. Jesus just did it in a very well
-
what real way, and he'll do it for you, Amen.
-
And so we're going to do something special.
-
We're going to have a invitation and we're going to do, we're
-
going to have an altar call here in a minute and we're going to
-
have some songs we're going to worship.
-
And and I think giving back to Jesus of what he's done and just
-
lifting up praise. So if you can't just pray,
-
people say, Father God, just thank you so much.
-
God, we are so grateful God for what you're doing.
-
God, we don't deserve anything. We don't deserve any of the
-
glory. God, it's only you.
-
God, you've made a way. You've moved in people's hearts.
-
So we are grateful for every person who has said yes along
-
the way. We stand on the shoulders of the
-
school district and behind the scenes for custodial and all
-
these people who've just paved the way.
-
But God, you open a new door in a new season, God, and we trust
-
that you're going to provide for it.
-
And so, God, we give you gratitude.
-
I'll pray for one group of people in the house.
-
That's those of you that you know you need to say yes to
-
Jesus. Those of you who walked in today
-
not knowing who we are or anything about real life.
-
And you're starting to recognize like there's a God universe that
-
is a miraculous God that can do great things that can cross the
-
Red Sea and can provide spaces that we don't deserve, but God
-
can do it. And that same Jesus came and
-
down across from your sins, the Bible says if you call on him,
-
he'll save you and make you new and he'll change your sin,
-
exchange for all his righteousness and make you
-
whole. And so today, if you need Jesus,
-
the Bible says the day is today a salvation.
-
If you call on the Jesus, you'll be saved, forgiven and made new.
-
And so if you need Christ today, let me be looking around.
-
Just raise your hand high in this place.
-
I mean, I need Jesus today like I need a miracle to have my own
-
life. I give the gospel to go out.
-
This is what this church is all about.
-
If that's you, I'll pray for you.
-
Just just pray to God yourself and the prayer is not saved.
-
You appear to me to say, Father God, thanks so much for loving
-
me not to send Jesus when I was at my worst.
-
God, you've bent your best, you've seen me, you know me, you
-
love me, you know every sin, every wrong thought, but you
-
choose me and you die on the cross for me, God.
-
So I surrender my life. God is no longer about Sean.
-
It's only about me. God, it's all about you and your
-
glory. And so God lift you up to him.
-
Pray in Jesus name, Amen. Come on, church, give it up,
-
baby, for God's glory day. Amen.
-
If you guys could do something, stand to your feet real quick.
-
We're going to worship and I want to encourage you guys.
-
How do you respond to a miracle? And you see this all throughout
-
the Bible. Singing is a response to a
-
miracle. They cross the Red Sea and you
-
got Moses and Miriam. They sing with loud voices.
-
Matter of fact, they wrote some Psalms in the psalms from the
-
cross in the Red Sea. They wrote it down in Psalm form
-
for us to have today. They had some dancing.
-
Amen, Miriam. She got out the tambourine and
-
danced for the Lord. And may bring your tambourine
-
today. Come on somebody.
-
We've had some tambourines, you know.
-
Now David, he danced for the Lord.
-
I don't recommend getting naked the day, but he did shout.
-
Shouting. I mean the walls of Jericho fell
-
and they they shouted praise. We can hear some shouting today.
-
Man be excited. They laid the temple foundation
-
to Ezra and they shouted, they they gave generosity.
-
It wasn't just emotional. They they sacrificed when they
-
opened the temple. They sacrificed.
-
They did offerings. When the Ark of the Covenant
-
came back, David gave offerings. Just paving the way.
-
I mean just worship. Giving is worship.
-
They testified. This is pretty good.
-
A lot of guys did this already. Psalm 6616.
-
Come and hear what the what the Lord has done, like you're
-
sharing the miracle. I mean, it's just amazing.
-
Like you'll go out this week and then you hear about what's
-
happening. You hear what God did.
-
That's worship. Amen.
-
Use it for God's joy. And there was weeping.
-
I had a few guys that texted me pictures.
-
I mean, I am crying right now. Just so humbled and so, so
-
grateful. Some of you guys already went
-
out in front of the theater and prayed and said, Lord, you know,
-
God, thank you God, use this place.
-
And so I want to do is I just want to, I don't want to be like
-
the the 9 lepers don't come back.
-
You know what I mean? I don't, I don't got to the
-
miracle. And we're like, oh, cool.
-
Like we got to go back to Lord, Amen.
-
And so these, these altars are open and we're the one that
-
comes back and just says, thank you, Jesus, whatever way,
-
whatever style, however you're going to do it.
-
But we're going to sing a couple songs.
-
But I want you to do it with a heart full of gratitude for two
-
full songs. He deserves our whole life to
-
worship Jesus, Amen. And so this song is going to
-
play and we're going to roll. So thank you, Jesus.
-
Amen. Sean said the altars are open.
-
If you want to pray, if you want to lift up your hands, you want
-
to sing, you want to kneel, grab a friend.
-
We're just going to praise God for what he's done.
-
You're good and I'm Wednesday. You're strong and I'm Wednesday.
-
You're constant. I witnessed it and I'm confident
-
that I'll see it again and again.
-
You love and I witnessed it. You heal and I witnessed it.
-
You save and I witnessed it and I'm confident that I'll see it
-
again and again. You're good and I witnessed it.
-
You're strong and I witnessed it.
-
You're constant. I witnessed it.
-
And I'm confident that I'll see it again and again.
-
And you love it. I'll witness day.
-
You heal it. I'll witness day.
-
You said it. I'll witness day.
-
And I'm comforted I'll see it again.
-
Witness your faithfulness. I've seen you breathe life
-
within. So while pour out my place
-
against your worthy got your worthy of all of it.
-
Your promises never fail. I've got stories I'll let you
-
tell someone. Pour out my I praise again.
-
You're worthy. Gosh, you're worthy of all of
-
it. To the broken of Witness Day.
-
To the hurry of Witness Day, the lost.
-
I will win this day. And I'll tell them this.
-
I'll tell them what I will. There's to my family of Witness
-
Day, to the city on Wilder's Day, to the nations on Wilder's
-
Day, and I'll tell the Mass, I'll tell the world, our God, we
-
give you the praise in this place.
-
God, our praise is. Just giving you your breath.
-
Back. We have so little to offer you,
-
God, but our lives, our praise, our trust in you, God, we offer
-
that to you today. God, you're on the move and we
-
trust you. And let today be a stake in the
-
ground of your faithfulness. God that will remember, give you
-
all the glory. Lift him up because I witnessed
-
your faithfulness. I've seen you breathe life
-
within. So I pour him out praise again,
-
'cause you're worthy, God, you're worthy of all of it.
-
Your promises never fail. I've got stories I live to tell.
-
So I pour out my praise again, 'cause you're worthy, God.
-
You're worthy of all of it. Because Christ is my firm
-
foundation, the lock on which I stand and everything around me
-
is shaking. I've never been more glad that I
-
put my face everything Jesus because he's never let me down.
-
He's faithful through generations, so why would he
-
fail now? He won't.
-
He won't. I still got joy in chaos.
-
I've got peace that makes no sense.
-
So I won't be going under. I'm not helped by my own
-
strength that I build my life on Jesus 'cause He's never let me
-
down. He's faithful in every season,
-
so why would he fail now? He won't, He won't.
-
He won't fail. He won't fail.
-
He won't. No, no, no, no.
-
He won't fail. He won't fail.
-
He won't fail. I lift him up.
-
Christ is my firm foundation, a rock on which I stand with
-
everything around me shaking. I've never been born bad that I
-
put my day in Jesus. This.
-
He's never let me down. He's stable through generations,
-
so I would need them now. He won't.
-
He won't. He won't me.
-
He won't me. Blue, But my house was built on
-
you. And I will say with you, and I'm
-
gonna make it. Blue.
-
But my house was built on you. I'm safe with you and I'm going
-
to make it through. Rain came with bloom.
-
My house was built on you and I'm safe with you.
-
And I'm going to make it through.
-
Yeah, I'm gone. I'm gonna make it through.
-
Stop standing strong on you. Yeah, I'm gonna make it through.
-
As my house is built on you. Christ is my firm foundation,
-
The Rock. On which I stand when everything
-
around me is shaking. I've never in my life when I put
-
my bath in Jesus, he's never let me down and stable through
-
generations. So why would he fail now?
-
He won, He won. He won, man.
-
He won't be. He won't.
-
He won't. He won't.
-
He won't. No, he won't.
-
Come on man, I could have. That's right.
-
All glory to God. Man is so good.
-
Man, I could have stayed in that moment felt like for hours just
-
worshipping all that God has done.
-
I mean, what a reminder today that miracles still happen and
-
we're witnessing that. And it has just been so amazing.
-
And why don't you guys go ahead and take a seat.
-
I mean, some of you for the first time today recognize the
-
miracle of Jesus in your life and you prayed that prayer and
-
you raised your hand and you accepted Jesus today.
-
And if that is you, we are so excited for you.
-
We would love just to walk alongside you to resource you as
-
you take the step with Jesus. You can let us know that
-
decision. We'd love to help you.
-
You can grab that connection card that's on your seats, fill
-
out your information there and check that box that says I've
-
committed my life to Jesus. And you can drop that in the
-
giving buckets as they pass here in just a few minutes.
-
By doing that, we'll drop you a free book in the mail this week.
-
It's a short but powerful pact, a book that will help you in
-
your journey. Also, before you leave today,
-
grab a red bag. There's a table right before you
-
exit the worship center and side is a free Bible and just a few
-
other resources for you. We would love just to walk
-
alongside you in this journey. And I want to talk to those of
-
you who are newer with Real Life Church.
-
Maybe this is your first time here with us at Real Life
-
Church, or maybe it's just the first time in a long time.
-
And we are so excited that you're here.
-
We welcome you here. So glad that you chose to spend
-
your morning right here with us. And we really don't want
-
anything from you this this morning except for this.
-
We'd love just to simply know that you were here for you to
-
introduce yourself to us. And you can do that by grabbing
-
that same connection card. And you can fill that out, fill
-
out your information there. You can check first time here on
-
that card as well. You can take it on out to the
-
new here booth when you exit the worship center, there's somebody
-
there that would love to just greet you.
-
Or you can also drop it in the giving buckets as well.
-
And we would love to see you back right here with us again
-
next Sunday, man. Shawn had talked about one of
-
the ways that we can celebrate this is through generosity.
-
Because what better time than right now to celebrate all that
-
God is doing. After 8 1/2 years of being
-
portable, God truly opened a door.
-
And that's not normal. What just happened for our
-
church, It's not normal. It's truly a miracle and all
-
that God has doing for us. And when I think about that,
-
every dollar we give towards this truly is a seed.
-
And it's a seed being sown not just into a building, but a seed
-
being sown into the community and the lives that need to know
-
the hope and power and freedom that is only found in Jesus.
-
And what an opportunity and a time to do that.
-
Man. In December, just a few short
-
months ago, we started giving towards our difference maker
-
initiative to be able to say yes when an opportunity came for us
-
to find our first permanent home.
-
And we filled out commitment cards and we started giving to
-
that. Really a difference maker is
-
this. It's somebody who gives
-
generously by faith for their forever.
-
I mean, what an opportunity we have right now to be difference
-
makers, to sow seeds not just for people who are here now, but
-
for people who haven't even come through the doors, who don't
-
know the hope of Jesus. We have an opportunity to do
-
that. So I want to invite you to be a
-
difference maker. If you feel called to do that,
-
there are commitment cards on your seat.
-
You can fill those out. Just committing to give above
-
and beyond. If that is where God is moving
-
in your life, we would love for you to do that.
-
Be a difference maker with us. If you call real life home,
-
there are a lot of ways that you can give here.
-
You can check out the screen there.
-
There you can scan that QR. You can head to our website, you
-
can text to give. You can drop cash or check in
-
the giving buckets. They're going to pass here in
-
just a couple of minutes. There's also a giving box right
-
in the back. You can drop cash or check in
-
there as well. And as always, if you or your
-
family find yourself in any kind of need this week, food,
-
clothing, shelter, really whatever that looks like as
-
these buckets pass, please reach in, grab any loose cash that you
-
see just so that we can be a blessing to you, a resource this
-
week, to you and your family. And I'm going to invite Logan
-
Hardy up here to this stage to lead us out this morning.
-
Oh man, I don't know about you guys, but this has just been
-
such a good morning. Out of all the words that come
-
to mind, grateful is the first one.
-
And here's another thing I'm grateful for.
-
I am grateful for anybody that's in here that is newer or new ish
-
that came out to check us again after Easter.
-
So if that's you, everybody just give it up for these people.
-
In the same vein, I'm talking again to you that are in here
-
that are newer next week. We have such an awesome
-
opportunity for you to get connected a little bit deeper
-
with our church. It's something that we call the
-
welcome party. Like I said, it's going to be
-
next week in between the gatherings.
-
That'll be 10:20 to 10:50. I think it's going to be 30
-
minutes. And if you are newer, this is
-
your opportunity to get to know the leadership here a little bit
-
better. It's to get plugged in and make
-
some new meaningful friendships within the church.
-
It's going to be your best opportunity to hear a little bit
-
more what real life is about, what we strive for and how you
-
can get plugged in here and maximize your talents to serve
-
and what opportunities might be before you to get to know God
-
deeper. So if that's you, you're in here
-
and you're newer, I would love to see you next week at our
-
welcome party. And I have one other
-
announcement equally as important in the Hub.
-
When you go out there, when you leave, we have doughnuts.
-
So keep the celebration going. Get a doughnut and just
-
celebrate everything that God did here over this past week.
-
If you need prayer or something to talk to, have somebody down
-
here for you. And otherwise, I'll see you guys
-
all next week. 9 and 10:45 I remember whoever finds Jesus
-
discovers real life and purpose. See you guys next week.
