What's A Mother Supposed To Do!!

Hey man, what, there's a, I put my finger on

it this morning, but there's a sweet presence

of the Lord in the house today. Hey man, I just

feel the Lord near us today. Hey man, could you

just take a moment and just, in your own way,

lift a hand, close your eyes, however, just honor

the Lord. Recognize Him in His house today, would

you? Just take a minute in your own way. You

know what he means to you. And you just recognize

him. Lord, I recognize your presence in this

house today. Such a sweet, sweet presence here

today, Lord. Your anointing is in this house.

We love you and we thank you today, Lord, so,

so much for your goodness. So much for your nearness

today. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. As

it is my custom, I've made it so over the years.

In pastoring, you realize some days are lighter,

some days are heavier, some days are hard, some

days are easy for people to be at church and

in church. And for several today, I'm sure today...

is a hard and difficult day for you. So first

of all, let me just honor you by getting up,

getting ready, getting out, and getting to the

house of the Lord today. I know it took great

effort. It took some resolve and strength for

you to do that simply because of what today is.

And so I thank you for being in the house of

the Lord here on Mother's Day. And with that,

I want to honor you if your mother has already

deceased and already gone on, no longer with

you. I want to honor you today. We want to show

you how much we respect you and know that each

of us will stand in that place one day. If the

Lord tarries at some point, we will all... be

feeling the emotions that you're battling today.

But I want to honor you as you're here this morning.

And yesterday I read something that just really

struck my heart, so I sent the word out. And

you'll notice these white roses. A white rose

is for each of you if your mother is deceased.

When you leave today, just make your way forward

and take one of these with you. That's one way

we want to honor you. But also you'll see a candle.

That's the front. No, it's a candle of honor.

I want a light today, this white candle. I read

something yesterday that stirred my heart. And

in doing so, I began to think about the light

of motherhood. And whether they're present or

not, the light still burns. It still burns. It

doesn't go out. And so for you today, I just

want to let that light represent. We're going

to light. Sister Erica, if you don't mind, light

this candle. And as she gets this lit. What I

want you to do is if your mother is deceased,

I want you to stand and let us honor you with

a moment of silence. If you don't feel comfortable

standing, you just remain seated. And we're going

to honor you with a moment of silence in this

house today. And we're going to pray the Lord

touch you and bless you and comfort you today,

of all days today. So if you would, if you...

I don't mind if your mother's deceased. Would

you stand and let us honor you today? Thank you

so much. I know it's hard. I know it's hard.

Let's bow our heads together this morning in

this moment of silence. And while you silently

wait a moment, whisper a prayer. Father God,

for each one who's feeling this absence in their

heart today, I pray your comfort, your peace

that passes all understanding overwhelm them

this morning. And Lord, as this candle of representation

of the light that's standing all across this

room, the light of motherhood, Lord, we know

that you are the light of the world and we are

in this world because of your abundant grace.

Lord, we've all been brought into this world

through labor and pain and sorrow. So let this

light burn ever so brightly as we honor those

here today pushing their way through this day.

I pray your grace and your peace and let joy

find its way to their heart today as they remember

a flicker of the light of their mother. In Christ's

name, in the church's name. Amen. You can be

seated. I originally had planned to go ahead

and do the drawing for those baskets, the flowers,

but we'll do that right before we dismiss this

morning. I just kind of feel like we need to

move on ahead and do what little I'm going to

do today. I don't want to keep you long. I really

mean that sincerely this morning. So if you'll

pray for me, we'll be expedient today. But I

do feel like the Lord has given me something

to share with you. Amen? Proverbs chapter 1.

Proverbs 1 · chapter mention

The book of wisdom, if you would. Instruction

for daily living. Verse 8 reads, My son, hear

the instruction of thy father and forsake not

the law of thy mother. For they shall be an ornament

of grace under thy head and chains about thy

neck. I want to preach to you on a thought. What's

a mother supposed to do? What's a mother supposed

to do? Father, I love you and thank you for your

abundant grace as we approach your throne one

more time. Lord, help me this morning be expedient,

Lord. Speak what would glorify you and lift up

the assembly today to encourage. Lord, I'll praise

you for it in Christ's name. Amen and amen. The

psalmist said in 30 and verse 5, The last portion

of that verse, he says, weeping may endure for

a night, but joy comes in the morning. There

was a mother putting her little four -year -old

son to bed the night before his birthday. And

she asked him how old he would be when he woke

up in the morning. And he said, a handful. When

I read that, I thought, hmm. A handful. Some

of you may be in here. We're mainly directing

this toward mothers and to be mothers and the

role of motherhood and womanhood this morning,

but it'll apply to all of us because sometimes

life does feel like it's a handful, whether you're

a mother or a father or just getting out of the

bed. Sometimes life feels like it's a handful.

And when life becomes a handful, sometimes you

wonder, now what am I supposed to do? What am

I going to do now? What's next? I can only imagine

the nights that Sister Kathy put our three to

bed when they'd finally wind down. And I'm so

thankful today that my entire posterity is in

the house this morning. All, yeah. Got the whole

bunch here today. So I've often wondered, especially

dealing with what she had to deal with, ADHD,

wide open, smart mouth teenage daughters, and

on and on it goes. And so I've thought many times,

she's had to have thought that because I wasn't

necessarily the same temperament I am now then.

I have learned to be very domestic. It took her

years to train me. I'm not the most domestic

type, you know what I'm saying? So I've wondered

at times what goes through a mother's mind when

it's been a long, hard day. Maybe a public job,

maybe a career and child raising and husband

rearing and housekeeping and all of that, right?

Have you ever thought to yourself, now what am

I supposed to do? Life can seem very overwhelming.

It can catch up to you very quickly. A mother

who had a dozen children was asked one time,

did she have a favorite? Which one did she love

the most? And her answer was, the one that is

sick until it gets well. And the one that is

gone until they're back home. That's the one

she loves the most. Amen. You can't divvy up

a mother's love. Now a father's love, ours is

a little different. We pick favorites. I knew

that was coming. I knew that was coming. We have

favorites. Normally it's the one that tends to

be the most like us. It was true in our home.

A father only becomes concerned when a child

breaks a bone or is really bleeding bad. But

a mother's heart is injured when the knee is

skint or over the tiniest of boo -boos. So when

life is all in an uproar, when we're upside down,

not really knowing what to do, when the weeping

has endured through the night, and we're waiting

and longing for the dawning, for the joy to come

in the morning, what are you supposed to do?

There are many, many examples throughout Scripture

that give us great insight from the sense of

motherhood and... just from the heart of womanhood

on how we are to react and respond, from various

encounters throughout Scripture that God has

shown up and proven himself mighty and strong.

There's every example possible, every example

possible, from fostering children to being step

-parents, even to the point where you think of

one who maybe have... Maybe you're here, you've

been adopted. Maybe you don't know and have never

discovered and never found out, but the wondering

is always there who your biological parents were

and what they were and how they are. You begin

to think sometimes, how could this happen? How

could this be? Do you know that there's actually

a woman in the Bible who actually gave up a child?

Her name is Yoshabed, and her son's name was

Moses. She actually gave him up. She wove a basket,

put him in a basket, and set him out on the Nile

River. It wasn't from not loving that child,

but it was from loving him. Now, there's so many

different degrees of love that I know it baffles

our mind. And I know we've all seen the portrayals,

and we've seen... every kind of movie that could

be written about all kinds of things and how

it works out in the long run, the whys, the ifs,

and the shouldas. But the Bible is very clear

on all these aspects of motherhood. You think

about Yoshabed who sent him out and sent him

away, but then you think about the foster mother

who picked him up and how all of it seemingly,

not seemingly, it was in the plan of God. and

in the will of God. God moves in the mightiest

of ways. And when you're scratching your head,

when you finally got them laid down, Gerald used

to not go to sleep in the bed. He would actually,

like the energized bunny, it was wherever he

unwound, you picked him up and put him in the

bed. Wouldn't go around a couch, he'd go over

a couch. And you wonder, what am I supposed to

do now when there's a little bit of peace and

quiet? What do I do when situations arise and

things change and culture has its way and we're

left with the aftermath of life? What do we do

while we are dealing with life? The Scripture,

again, I say, gives all manner of example. There's

even examples of single mothers in the Scripture,

widowed mothers. Raising children. One of those

is found in 2 Kings 4. There's this widow who

comes to the prophet. She's in a dilemma there.

The creditors are about to come and take her

sons and put them to work in order to pay off

the debt that she owed. And when you don't know

what to do and when you're thinking, what am

I supposed to do now? She winds up. At the feet

of the prophet. She winds herself down to the

place where the voice and the word of God is

to be heard. It's God's representation. The man

that God is touching to speak through. She makes

her way to the prophet. She puts her case before

him. And then he asks her this question. What

is it that you have in your house? And I love

this widow woman's answer. She said nothing.

First of all, she said, there's nothing in the

house, but there's bound to be something. Don't

overlook. Never despise small things because

God is great, and things become great when God

gets in it. There's nothing there, and it's like

it's an afterthought. She thought, well, there

is a little cruise of oil in there. I do have

a little oil left over. And then God begins to

get into the situation. Well, here's what you're

supposed to do. You're supposed to go home, and

you're supposed to borrow every pot. in the community

that anybody will lend you. If it'll hold liquid,

I want you to get it. I want you to get in the

house with it, and I want you to close the door,

and then I want you to begin to pour and pour

and pour, and you pour till you run out of pots

because here's the guarantee, little is much

when God is in it and when God begin to anoint

the pouring up because it was a faith initiative.

Listen, when you don't know what else to do,

believe God. When you don't know what else to

do, else to do? Obey God. And she got that answer.

I want you to get in the house. It's never nothing.

You've always got something. Hallelujah. It may

seem insignificant. And what are you supposed

to do? You're supposed to respond and react by

faith whenever you hear a word from the Lord.

Take it. Get in the house. Borrow everything

you can borrow and begin to pour. And when you're

done pouring, sell everything that you need to

sell and live off the profit. Live off the rest.

Why? Because God will not forsake you. Listen,

they say, you may be a single mom in the house

today, but if you're going to trust God, you're

going to obey God. It may be nothing to you,

but little is much when God is in it. And when

God takes over, he'll multiply whatever you need,

and the smallest amount will go the furthest,

and it'll blow your mind. When you're looking

at the checkbook, and you're looking at the balance,

or you're looking at your phone balance, and

you don't know what you're going to do now, I'll

tell you what to do. You just keep on trusting

God. They endure for the night. Nowhere does

it ever say you won't weep. Nowhere does the

Bible ever say you won't have trouble. Nowhere

does it ever tell you that when you ask God into

your life and accept Christ to be your Lord and

Savior, you're never going to have another problem.

Matter of fact, the guarantee is just the opposite.

Amen. Because in this life you shall have trouble

and you shall have tribulation. But you've got

something because the Lord said be of good cheer.

Amen. Because he has overcome. the world. Amen.

Even though trouble and trial come your way,

even though weeping does endure through the night,

joy is coming. It'll sunshine one day. When you

wake up and it's raining, just keep on trusting

God. The sun is going to shine. Why? Because

it's a promise from God. Amen. Weeping may endure

through the night, but joy cometh in the morning.

And if you'll read earlier, it talks about the

favor of God and being over the life and the

blessed life. What are you supposed to do? You

keep on trusting God. When you don't see any

other way, you just keep trusting God and letting

God have his way in your life. Little is much

when God is in it. I think Abraham Lincoln said

it well. He said, no one who's poor, no one is

poor who has a godly mother. No one is poor who

has a godly mother. That's a pretty good quote

if I've ever heard one. No one is poor who has

a godly mother. Why? The old songwriter said,

rich in faith and hope and love beyond compare,

more than my share. Amen? Because of the love

of God. I believe God actually honors the heart

and the prayers of mamas when he don't listen

to us daddies. Why? Because mama's praying over

the boo -boo. Dad, we don't even intervene until

bones sticking out through skin or stitches are

required. And it really depends on how big and

wide and deep the cut is before we even start

to pray. Well, they'll take care of that. That'd

be all right. That was our motto growing up.

It ain't bleeding that bad. You'll be okay. Go

on. A little as much when God is in it. And the

second thing you might need to understand is

you need to trust God in every situation. You

need to trust God in every situation because

as I've said, Scripture covers almost every situation

of life. For us fathers, Scripture covers it.

Mom, if you need a promise from the Lord, get

in His Word. If you need help from the Lord,

get in His Word because you're not alone. You're

not the only one that's standing where you're

standing today. Somebody else has been there.

Someone else has already endured the endurance

race of what you're having to deal with and what

you're going through, and God has already given

an answer of what you're supposed to do. So you

trust God. If you were to go back and do a little

bit of questioning, Sarah would tell you that

nothing is too hard for the Lord. If you remember

the story of Sarah, she was barren, and that

was a shame of her day and her culture not to

be able to bring four children. into the world,

and it went on, and then all of a sudden, she's

eavesdropping on a conversation, and she hears

her husband receive a word from the Lord, the

promise that she's going to have a child, and

he's going to be a father, and she begins to

snicker and laugh behind the tent door because

she knew her age, and she knew she was past and

beyond. She's not a young girl anymore. Come

on, somebody. She's done past the age of childbearing,

and she actually even laughed more for Abraham.

She did herself. He's old, too. How's this going

to happen? And she kept it going, and she kept

it in her heart. And a few years go by, 10 years

go by, and still nothing. But then we get a reassurance

of the promise. 15 more years goes by, and then

all of a sudden, she's singing lullabies in the

tent one night. Why? Because God is able to take

care of any and every situation in your life.

Nothing is impossible with God. What am I supposed

to do now? This situation's impossible. Pastor,

what am I supposed to do? He won't this or they

can't that. What am I supposed to do? You just

keep on trusting God because nothing is impossible

to those who believe. Why? Because nothing is

too hard for the Lord. And when you begin to

read the Bible, is he still able to do the things

that we read? Those are just fables. Those are

just stories. No, these are eyewitness accounts

to the glory and the power of God. I just wonder,

is anybody in the house? house had an impossible

situation and you prayed and God heard and God

answered. Lift your hand up. It was impossible.

Look around you. It's not impossible because

nothing is too hard. For what am I supposed to

do? You keep on trusting God in the middle of

the impossibilities. Hagar, a woman who was taken,

a woman out of her own will who had no choice,

brings a child into this world. And when it comes

time for the child to be blessed, she gets driven

out of something that was not even her choice,

a situation she didn't even require or request

in her life. And now her and her son is driven

out and put in the wilderness, and he's about

to die from heat stroke and thirst and starvation,

and she cannot bear watching her own child die.

She puts him under a shade, and she walks a distance

away, and she begins to cry. And talk to the

Lord. And the Lord heard her. Oh, it's there

where we see the name Jehovah -Rohi, which means

God sees. What am I supposed to do now? You may

be crying off somewhere over something you can't

do anything about, a situation that you did not

elicit in your life. It come on you. Oh, not

because you requested it, because the world and

the enemy of your soul has saw fit to come against

you. But know this, God sees you. He's watching

after you. He sees your tears, and he spoke in

her situation, and not only did he speak, but

he made her a promise, my God, concerning her

son. What am I supposed to do? Sometimes all

you can do is cry, but God sees every tear, mama.

God sees every tear. Nothing will drive you to

deeper tears and greater depths of sorrow and

sobbing. Than your children. I just pray I hadn't

caused mine too much pain and grief. Hopefully

there's been some joyful moments. Amen. I still

think she loved me more than she did the other

three. The reason I think that is because she

punished me more. You know, the father loveth

the son that he chasteneth. Mama really loved

me. She did. I just hope I didn't cause her too

much sorrow in my earlier years. I think I've

made up for that in the last 30, hopefully. You

just got to keep on trusting God. You know what

Rahab would tell you? You know Rahab the harlot,

right? The harlot who spared and hid the 12 spies

of the Israelites when they went in to spy out

the land. They're in Jericho. She hides them.

Here's what Rahab would tell you to do. Your

past doesn't define your future. God will still

use you. Let me tell you, you cannot allow the

enemy to define your present by your past. God

knows what you were. He's the one that come after

you and found you. And he know exactly where

you were at. Rahab, the harlot who hid the spies,

do you realize she is in the lineage of the Son

of God? Do you realize you can trace? Why? Because

God will still use you. God will use you. He'll

save you. He'll pick you up. So, therefore, do

not allow your past to dominate your present.

God knows what you were when he found you and

the reason that you come to him. What do I do

now? You don't go back the way that he brought

you from. You keep walking away from it in the

fullness of hope. You lift up your head in the

respect that God has given you because of his

grace that is abundant. in and over your life.

That's what you're supposed to do. Keep on going.

You remember Hannah, the story of Hannah. Hannah

would tell you God still answers prayer. What

are you supposed to do? Keep on praying. Keep

on praying. Our invitation is to pray and to

cease not. I've had people ask the question,

well, what do you do when you pray for people

and they don't get healed or this don't happen?

I said, well, the healing part's not my responsibility.

That one's not on me. Mine is to pray. Mine,

your responsibility is to keep on praying. Amen?

I've said it this way, and I'll say it this way

again. If you don't have anything else to pray

for, pray for me. I need the prayer, and you

need the practice. So just keep on practicing

prayer. Hannah would tell you, God answers prayer.

No matter what others see, no matter what their

perspective of your situation is, that does not

matter. It matters what God sees and what God

does. He will still, Ruth. She'd tell you it's

not over until God says it's over. What am I

supposed to do? You just keep going. Keep on

going. What am I supposed to do? She receives

the release from her mother -in -law. You can

go back home. You're released. You are a widow.

I'm so old now. You'd be my age by the time I

got a son old enough for you. Mary, so you just

go on home. But Ruth would tell you this, make

your stance with God. She said, no, can't do

that, Naomi. I'm going where you're going. Your

home's going to be my home. And let me just go

one step further. Your God is going to be my

God. And where they bury you, that's where they're

going to bury me. I'm putting my hope and my

confidence and my trust in God. What are you

supposed to do when you don't know what to do?

You put your trust in God because God, believe

it or not, is still in control. Esther, if she

had any advice, wouldn't ask what were you supposed

to do. She'd say, keep trusting God. He'll show

up right on time. He won't be late. I'm glad

he doesn't tell time the way I tell time. He's

on time. In our culture, early is on time, on

time is late. But God is just on time. He shows

up when you need him. And if anybody knew it.

Esther would have that testimony. God showed

up right on time. That woman in Matthew with

the issue of blood, she would tell you, if you

don't know what else to do, if you're broke,

you're busted, you spent everything you had to

try to get better, do better, and be better,

and it's still worse. She'd tell you, if you'll

show up, you'll show out. What are you supposed

to do? Keep showing up. Showing up where? Showing

up at prayer time. Showing up at worship time.

Showing up at church time. Showing up where you're

going to meet and encounter God. Keep showing

up. That's what you do. I've spent all. She had

nothing left. Not a thing, not a cent to her

name, but she said, if I can just touch the hem

of his garment, if I can just touch him, if I

can just get close enough. I know I'll be made

whole. I know it. You need to get that resolve

in your heart today. What do you do? You keep

showing up. Because I assure you, if you show

up, he'll show out. It'll be miraculous, and

you won't even realize the miracle has taken

place until you look back and say, huh, I don't

know how I made it. You made it because the hand

of God is on your life, over your life, in your

life. Aren't you glad that the hand of God removes

you from your past and he puts you in a present

and he provides you with a future hope that goes

beyond your own imagination? God never fails.

He'll never forsake you. He'll never leave you.

He'll never let you down. Well, you don't know

where I'm at. What am I supposed to do here?

You just keep. You just keep moving. There's

a story. It's called The Shunammite Woman. The

prophet of God would go by on his way to minister,

and he'd be going by, and they provided a place

for him to stay. They built a little side room

for the man of God. When he'd come through, he

could stay. You do remember it. He walked most

everywhere he went. So they fixed up a room for

the man of God to come by, and when he was there

to stay, when he's going back and forth to worship

or whatever the business of the prophet was,

the prophet noticed there was something missing.

It's a wonderful encounter. It tells you how

the heart, It tells you how deeply the heart

can feel. This woman acknowledged the power of

God on this man's life. And one day he approaches

her about what was absent. He noticed he didn't

trip over toys. There was no crying and screaming

and squealing and laughter going on. She didn't

have any children. So he approaches her and begins

to give her a word. Begin to speak a promise

over her. I'm going to just show you the depth

of a mother's heart right here. And that exchange

between this barren woman and the prophet. I'm

going to paraphrase it for you. Be like me and

you having a conversation. When he said that

to her, she said, preacher, don't you be messing

with me. Don't mess with my mind. Preacher, don't

mess with my heart. That's not funny. That's

not a subject that I care to. Joke about. Hello?

It's very serious to me because no one knows

how desperately. So don't you mess with me. Wow.

A prophet of God. Whom the power of God had used

to perform miracles. Signs and wonders. And she

says to him, don't mess with me. Don't play with

my heart. Don't play with my emotions. But he

reaffirmed her. When the time is fulfilled, when

it all comes, the cycle of life comes around,

you'll have a child. Sure enough, he comes back

through. She's got the son that he promised.

Just to prove to you that bad things happen to

good people. And even though God's in something.

Are you with me now? I'm about finished. I'm

going to quit with this. He's out in the field

working with his father. Huh? Ain't that what

we do? We'll either send them, and if they can't

walk, we'll carry them. Go see your mother. That's

what we do. So he picks the boy up, takes him

to his mama. Mama don't know what to do. She

lays him on the anointed bed. There's something

about putting your youngins on the anointing.

But things got worse. And he stops breathing.

What are you supposed to do when you don't know

what to do? Keep on trusting? Do we trust now?

Well, she'd already said, don't mess with me,

man of God. Don't fool, don't, it's my heart.

She says, honey, get the donkey ready. Get me

one of the young men. I'm going to find that

preacher. He says, well, honey. It's not the

Sabbath. It's not the new moon. Where are you

going to find him? He don't have a cell. You

can't text him on the backside of the desert.

I'll find him, and I'm coming back. He coming

with me. Those of you who know the story, you

know she finally gets near him. Not even there

yet. The servant of the prophet said, hey, that

looks like that. That looks like that Shunammite

woman coming over the hill. That's who it was.

And before she gets there, the greeting goes

out. Is it well with thine husband? The only

reason you run in the preacher downs, you got

problems. Is it well with thine husband? It is

well. I can't hardly talk about this story. That

tears me up. Is it well with thee? It is well.

Is it well with thy son? Listen to the change.

It shall be well. When I get there, it shall

be well. No concession there. No give up. It's

going to be all right. Oh, I need to tell somebody,

it's going to be all right. What do you do when

you don't know what to do? What are you supposed

to do? You keep confessing your faith. You keep

standing firmly on the promise of God. It shall

be well. Why? Because it's not on you. What am

I supposed to do? Stand with me. I quit. What

are you supposed to do? Lord, I love you today.

When we don't know what to do. When we don't

know what to do. There are those in this room

that do not know what to do. What are they supposed

to do with what they're looking at? What are

they supposed to do when the children act like

heathens? What are they supposed to do? What

are we supposed to do, God, when they won't do

what we've taught them to do? What are we supposed

to do when we've raised them according to your

word in the way that they should go? I know the

way's there, but they're not in it. What are

we supposed to do? We keep trusting. You keep

praying. That's what you do. Because it's not

on you. When you're exhausted, physically, emotionally,

spiritually, financially, in any way, emotionally.

Some of you are just here by the grace of God

because you don't know what you're supposed to

do. If your trust is in God, let God take control.

Join that Shunammite woman and say, it shall

be well. It shall be well. The end of that story

is powerful. The prophet goes with her, finds

the boy on his bed, shuts the door, stretches

out on him, breathes life into him, and brings

the boy and hands him to his mama. Look here,

there's some things that you can't control, mama.

Dad, there's some things we can't control. You

can't control the decisions they make when they

become accountable for themselves. Oh, I know

we'd like to just take a stick and make it right.

But no, they are now accountable before a holy

and righteous God by whom they will stand in

front. So what am I supposed to do, preacher?

You keep on praying. You keep speaking your faith

over the promise. It shall be well. We've covered

about every aspect of motherhood in whichever

role that you may be playing. There's more to

motherhood than giving birth. Father, I love

you over this house, I pray. No greater joy for

a mother today than a lost child. One in sin

to give their heart back to the Lord today. If

you're here and you aren't serving Jesus as Lord,

you're just doing whatever. The Lord knows and

the Lord sees everything. Oh, it may be a secret

to others, but it's not a secret to the Lord.

He sees. Remember, Hagar, Jehovah -Rohi, the

God who sees, he sees. If you want to accept

Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior today and

repent of your sin, And believe on him as your

Lord. No greater joy in a mama's heart than that.

Heads bowed all across the house. If anybody

needs the Lord, raise your hand up. I want to

accept Christ today, Pastor. I want to accept

him in my heart and in my life. For every woman

that's... functioning in the role of motherhood,

I want you to just lift your hands up. I'm going

to pray over you today, every single one of you.

Father, we love you today. All across this room,

all across this room today, we pray this morning

for mothers and motherhood. Because I know in

their mind and their heart, they've posed the

question, what am I supposed to do? I don't know

what to do. So I trust in you, Lord. I'm going

to keep praying. I'm going to keep asking God

to move and deliver. I'm going to keep pouring

out. Because it's you, God, that supplies all

of our need. I ask, Lord, that you would encourage

them here today. Give strength, Lord. Give strength

this morning for the weary and for the tired,

for the exhausted and for the frustrated, for

the bewildered. I ask, Lord, that you just touch

and move in hearts and lives. In Jesus' name.

And everybody say it. Amen and amen. Give the

Lord a good hand clap.
