Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the program. We are your host
-
Jose and myself Matthew. Today we are going to do a little bit of
-
an in depth of Bible study with things that you know really everything about,
-
but it takes further study because you have to look for these events to be
-
referenced somewhere else in the New Testament for you to figure out where their origin
-
is coming from, because it turns it into this random event into a prophetic
-
event that was scheduled to happen at some point in time. So with that
-
in mind, I think I'm going to lead us out in prayer and Jose
-
shall finish this time. So let's go to the Lord in prayer. You're
-
heavenly Father, thank you so much for the opportunity you've given to Jose and
-
I to edify your children. And thank you so much for the children of
-
the Promise. Thank you so much for choosing them. Thank you so much
-
for drawing them to your son. For your son, the Lord Jesus Christ
-
is faithful and he has saved them. And thank you so much for calling
-
them according to your purpose. So thank you so much for this marvelous opportunity
-
for Jose and I to identify your children. And I pray that you you
-
use this program, whether here live or in the archive, whether video or
-
audio, please use it to touch their hearts in a way that only you
-
can do. So, as you are he who sitteth upon the throne.
-
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen and Amen
-
Amen. All right, ladies and gentlemists, let's just talk about this the
-
topic at hand. You know, Jose, everybody knows about the Voice from
-
Heaven, right, Yes. I mean you can basically get in any church
-
or any Sunday school class and say, hey, somebody, raise your hand
-
and tell me about when the voice came from heaven. And sometimes they won't
-
know both times, if they're not really familiar with the Bible, they don't
-
realize that happened twice. But everybody knows that there was a time when God
-
spoke from heaven and announced that, Hey, Jesus's got the sun. He
-
doesn't anounce it. Yes, and you know, but if you get somebody
-
that's that's at least familiar with the Biblical text back, you know, front
-
to back, they know these two instances about the baptism and the transfiguration,
-
two really big events, two really big events. So most of them will
-
know that story. However, when they get to the reference in second Peter,
-
it kind of goes right over their head, right, because like,
-
you know, why are we redoing this? This is just rehashing old information.
-
It's just a side no right right, But boy, it's that side
-
note. It takes you right to the source. So you know, when
-
you were growing up, what did you learn about this voice from heaven?
-
What was told you this something special? Was it? Was it part of
-
the Bible prophecy? What were you talking about? This voice from heaven?
-
So obviously we see it when when Jesus starts his ministry, when he's baptized
-
by John the Baptists, and as he's coming out, the Holy Spirit descends
-
on him from heaven, and then you have God speaking that voice saying,
-
this is my son in whom I am well pleased, right um. And
-
so when I was younger, I don't know, I mean, and I
-
hate saying this, Matthew, but it's almost like that voice for secondary in
-
my thinking, because all I thought about was the Holy Spirit, that dove
-
descending. You had all these pictures in the church. And so that's what
-
I saw, and that's what my mind heard when I when I when when
-
I read through that in the Gospels or when it was read in church.
-
Um. And so this even kind of came up, um. You know,
-
a couple of weeks ago where I had someone questioned me about, you
-
know, whether Jesus in Egypt until he was thirty two years old before he
-
started his ministry and he went to Tibet and India and all these kind of
-
kind of legends that pop around how Jesus got his spiritual powers right, And
-
I had to point to them, you know, I said, first of
-
all, where where the Bible says when he actually came back into Judea,
-
right right right after Herod the Great was dead, they came back. Okay,
-
so he's not thirty two. And then he gets his powers from the
-
Holy Spirit. Okay, that says it right here after his baptized boom,
-
then his ministry starts. Okay, not only is he, uh, you
-
know, the son of God, but hey, he's got the Holy Spirit
-
now, so he's able to to do all do the work of God and
-
do all these great things that help him people and you know, leading everyone
-
to his father. So again that's what we see because it's the Holy Spirit
-
that's actually you know, acting on earth and actually enabling him to perform these
-
miracles and to you know, um, do these great things to start his
-
church. And so unless you know that that saying that God says it's prophetic,
-
you kind of skip over at Matthew, it's obviously God's speaking should be
-
like God was to you know, speak from the heaven right now, would
-
you know, probably knock us dead because because we wouldn't be able to handle
-
it. But I don't know why. It kind of takes takes a back
-
seat to what to what the Holy Spirit comes down and does. But if
-
you know where it is prophetically, then you know how how important it was
-
for God to do that. How it was actually an important step in Jesus
-
beginning. Um kind of like when God spoke everything to exist sense okay,
-
when when he did creation, none of that would have happened unless He would
-
have given the command. And it's the same thing with Jesus and his ministry.
-
He wouldn't have started unless God told him Okay, now you can start,
-
because he's been he's been you know, toiling around as a carpenter's son
-
for thirty years, you know, kind of putting up with that, uh,
-
that lowliness, studying, being obedient, knowing that his time would come.
-
And so when when God basically kicks that start gun off, then then
-
he starts and then and then he begins to gather his disciples, and then
-
he begins to go throughout and try to to go first to the Jews and
-
then spread that gospel to the gentile. So it's it's it's critical, but
-
I think that that prophetic understanding is going to help cement how critical it is.
-
Matthew. Wow, you you said a lot there, um and I
-
appreciate everything you said right from the beginning, because when you get these visualizations,
-
especially as a young child in Sunday school class, that's what you remember.
-
You remember the visualization, You remember the dove. That's the importance part.
-
And of course it triggers remembrances in me because I know that Greek word
-
it's erkle May. Once the father connected with the son because the Holy Spirit
-
erical May in Greek, descended upon him. It made this real, live
-
connection between the light switch and the light bulb. You know, that's when
-
the light comes on. Is that's when he was energized. So I appreciate
-
that you said that in that way, that yeah, when you when you
-
visualize it, you just kind of, I know, the voice is really
-
unimportant. It's the dove that's important. And it's amazing that that you make
-
that connection there and it makes it reconfigures my whole thought process. I'm amazed
-
that you've remembered that as a child, that you know that's the cool part
-
where you know, the dove comes down. Let's talk about the other time
-
in the transfiguration. What's the important part. I mean, nobody mentions the
-
voice. They mentioned the cool stuff. They mentioned who Yeah, Moses and
-
Elijah. Right, yes, you see the visualization. He's not only transfigured,
-
but instead of of seeing the Holy Spirit, you get to see Moses
-
and Elijah, And hey, how cool is that? And it's like the
-
voice is put back in the corner. And now that I say that,
-
this reference in second Peter, it really is the corner, isn't it.
-
God has kind of pushed it back into the corner. So only if you're
-
seeking it, only if you're chasing after the importance of this event. Do
-
you realize in the Greek that hey, God's saying that a whole lot more
-
than you think he is, and he's doing things in Greek that you're just
-
not going to believe it until you see it. And you can't do this
-
in English. Man, I'm so sorry to say that, but you can't
-
do this in English. And if you're going to study it in the Greek,
-
Jose, you and I both know you're not going to go to Second
-
Peter to study it in Greek. You're going to go to the baptism.
-
Let's read the Baptism. Let's start tearing this all apart in Greek. Right,
-
But guess what this is true, Jose. Under normal circumstances, if
-
you and I was going to do a scholarly research of the Voice from Heaven,
-
we'd go to the Baptism, we'd go to Transfiguration. We'd never go
-
to Second Peter, would we, right right, we would never look at
-
that in Greek. There's no reason too. It's just a footnote. So
-
it really does take you by surprise when you do see it. When,
-
for let us say, for other reasons, you're looking at Second Peter and
-
take no, you know, no doubt about it. Second Peter is full
-
of controversy, right, yes, I mean it is talks about angels,
-
it talks about this, it talks about that. So really, in this
-
reference here inside the controversy of Second Peter, that's that's nothing. It's nothing.
-
So I'm gonna read this and in English, and we're gonna do sixteen,
-
seventeen and eighteen of Second Peter, chapter one. And take note,
-
ladies and gentlemen, this has literally been pushed back in the corner because,
-
like I said, a scholar, if he was going to study the Voice
-
from Heaven, you wouldn't do it here. This is just a footnote reference
-
referring you back to the actual text. Right. Well, the problem is
-
when you look at this in Greek, the texting question is not in Matthew,
-
it's not in Mark, it's not in Luker's not in job. It's
-
actually another place. But anyway, I get really excited about God's words.
-
So let's just read this here New American Standard Bible, the ninety five update,
-
as is the mainstay of this ministry, For we did not follow cleverly
-
devised tales. When we've made known to you the hour and the umming of
-
our Lord Jesus Christ. But we were eyewitnesses of his majesty, for when
-
he received honor and glory from God the Father, such an utterance as this
-
was made to him by the majestic glory. This is my beloved son,
-
with who I'm well pleased, And we ourselves heard disutterance made from heaven when
-
we were with him on the Holy Mountain. You think, on the surface,
-
you're not going to learn anything here, because this is just it's just
-
referring to something else. I mean, if you're gonna learn anything, you're
-
gonna have to go to the baptism, right, or you're gonna have to
-
go to the transfiguration right right. I mean, there is the off chance
-
that you know you're setting everything you're saying, Well, it's not the only
-
time God speaks from heaven, right, because what about when this voice came
-
from heaven in the Book of Daniel. What about John chapter twelve, verse
-
twenty eight. And you know a lot of people make reference of this starting
-
in verse twenty seven. Now, my soul has become troubled, and what
-
shall I say, Father saved me from this hour. But for this purpose
-
I came this hour. Father glorify your name. Then a voice came out
-
of heaven. I have both glorified it, and I will glorify it again.
-
And of course next verse mentions an angel. Right, so you might
-
even jump into this and start studying this. But jose, you know what's
-
your thoughts about these three verses in second Peter and what lies beneath the surface?
-
So here it's it's not even a reference. I mean, obviously it
-
is what we're going to dig into that. But on his on the surface,
-
it's not like normal um calls to Jesus's um um to his his second
-
coming is not it's not the normal way that they would say the Jeus is
-
God because this is what this prophet said, and so that's why Jesus fulfilled
-
it. So that's why he is God. Right, that's how normally we
-
see in the Gospel a lot of times when we'll see that this one is
-
there saying God himself, We heard God himself from heaven saying this is his
-
son. That's why we know he is the Messiah, he is the Christ.
-
He is the one that God has annointed as is king. And that's
-
why, um, the rest of our testimony is true. We're not.
-
We're not making stuff up. We're not. Um. You know, this
-
wasn't things that we're tying together, scriptures that were tying together to to make
-
it look like like, you know, Jesus rose from the dead and ascended
-
into heaven. No, this directly from God the Father. He is the
-
one that you know. There's no denying it, Matthew. I mean,
-
I don't know how else to say it. Um. It's like it's like
-
you could I could look up all the the law books to figure out,
-
you know what, what what weight that if what I'm doing is right or
-
not. Or I could have a judge himself speaking from the bed saying yes,
-
you're allowed to do that, and that that's what we're getting here.
-
God himself said this is my son. Um. You know everything that you've
-
been that he's been teaching you and telling you, and you've been reading the
-
Old Testament, Yes it's true. And here I'm just putting my stamper approval
-
on it. Um. So that's what I'm getting from those set of versus
-
Matthew. Again, this is like like an authoritative voice that's that's saying this,
-
this is true, This is it absolutely, Um, you're right.
-
It's in these three verse as you get you. Yeah. It's kind of
-
like the port the court proceedings that is the Book of Hebrews. It gets
-
the same field. This is a legal statement, and it's very worthy,
-
it's very exact. You can't debate this. There's no gray area in these
-
three verses. As their jose, no, no, it's no debate.
-
We heard that. We're not talking about second half it. They were there,
-
right, Peter was physically there, and not only was there, there
-
was other people with him. And he's saying, no, no, no,
-
this is beyond contestation. We heard the voice from heaven. So this
-
puts it in a whole different light. And when you tear this apart in
-
the Greek, you come across this magnificent word here. Let's try this in
-
the KJV, and the KJV it says, m yeah, well it's it's
-
wordy in itself. It says a voice to him from the excellent glory.
-
Is that two words? No, it's not two words. It's not excellent
-
glory. I don't know why you would translate this. Let's try the New
-
American Standard Bible says majestic glory. Still it's not. That's not what's going
-
on in here. I mean, majestic is a way to translate this word,
-
but that's not what you would do. I mean this is a a
-
closed double compound word in Greek megaloprepez. That's what it is. Now,
-
the problem is, is it even if you reach out and grab this in
-
English, you're going to run into major problems because if you go to online
-
resources lists, say, for instance, blue Letter Bible, you have the
-
choice to switch over and check this in the actual Greek in the Septuigion.
-
The problem is is it tells you there's only one other instance of this in
-
the Bible, God's Holy Word, that other instance being in Deuteronomy, chapter
-
thirty three, verse twenty six. But I assure you I don't need Blue
-
Letter Bible to tell you this word is eleven times in God's Word in the
-
Old Testament. It's ten times, not one. Now, of course Jose
-
can verify this because he can look at it and he'll tell you, Matthew,
-
why is it being omitted from resources like Blue Letter Bible. Well,
-
because here what you call get one sixty nine, that's an adjective. Let's
-
go over to a Deuteronomy, chapter thirty one, verse twenty six. Guess
-
what are thirty one sixty nine? There the Greek that's an adjective. So
-
what's the problem. Well, when we go to the instance of this in
-
Psalms twenty nine, Ladies and gentlemen, the reason why this isn't keyed the
-
strongs is because this is a noun. When I say that to people through
-
like so, so you mean there is no Greek number here because the Greek
-
number is always separated. There's gonna be one Greek word that's a verb,
-
and if it's in another instant it's it's an adjective. It'll have a different
-
strongs number that's right in the strongs used and a noun. This is not
-
found in the New Testament because it's not in the New Testament. There is
-
no Greek number for it in the septuagin. But when you open your eyes
-
and you don't need online resources, you can actually read the text, you're
-
like, boom, I know what that is, and this is something else.
-
When you realize it's something else, you begin to look at these other
-
instances and you realize that this is pretty well common knowledge. Because I hate
-
to tell you that many people sing this in hymns. Many churches have this
-
in hymns. That Psalm twenty nine is about the baptism. Yeah, look
-
it up on YouTube. Look up Psalm twenty nine and baptism, and you'll
-
see all kinds of hymns about it. So it's back here in the eccleasiest
-
subconscious it is there. But ladies and gentlemen, you need to know this
-
is pure prophecy. That's what's going on here. This voice from heaven was
-
prophesied. And not only that. When you tear apart Psalm twenty nine you
-
realize, oh my goodness, In a series of three or four verses,
-
it's making mention of both instances. One is about his baptism and the other
-
the transfiguration is a declaration to the Cedars of Lebanon. And if you don't
-
know this, you need to look it up. Even the mightiest Syrian false
-
prophet is declared to be a Cedar of Lebanon. Yes, yes, God
-
does say that, Yes he does realize that the Cedars of Lebanon, just
-
like the Bulls of Bashan, is an overt reference to the Angelic. Yes
-
it is, Yes, it is any rabbinical scholar will tell you this.
-
So with that in mind, once you take a look at Psalm twenty nine
-
in the Subteligence, Well, for one, let me ask Jose this.
-
So you've obviously read this in the Greek and the Hebrew, and boy,
-
they're they're they're really different in their delivery, aren't they say? Yes,
-
m absolutely, what's your thoughts on what's in our bibles? What what's your
-
thoughts on the Hebrew version. So again, unless you're realizing that that,
-
first of all, that this is prophecy. Too many people read the psalms
-
and consider them just you know, Um, God, are David praising God?
-
You know, David glorifying God. But the psalms are highly prophetic,
-
either of the whole Bible, but especially the Salt. And if you don't
-
realize this is prophecy, and you don't realize that God in this Psalm is
-
proclaiming stuff to the angelic realm for what he plans on doing through his son,
-
Um, you miss a lot of it, Matthew, you miss a
-
lot of it. There's there's certain things you pick up because we hear the
-
wilderness. Um. You see the word dear in the here. Okay,
-
so um, you know that's that brings to mind, you know that getting
-
your hinds feet that there's there's certain words in here that that if you're just
-
a regular Bible reader, will kind of key in and you'll know that.
-
Okay, maybe God's also talking about other things here, but when you realize
-
that from the from the start, he's telling how He's going to set up
-
um his kingdom, his son's kingdom, from the top to the bottom.
-
He lays it all out here in this palm. Matthew, you know,
-
I'm sorry, I'm gonna jump all over that. I'm gonna jump all over
-
it because well because I can, because you know, ladies, gentlemen,
-
you need to know this up front. So I'm twenty nine. You just
-
need the very first verse because what you see in the New American Standard Bible
-
says sons of the Mighty. No, no, I know what that says.
-
That says bunny. That's right, ladies and gentlemen's sons el he what
-
you would call, of course, other translations if you just look at the
-
base word there, it's of course Alakin, everybody's gonna get quiet on me.
-
What what what? What are you trying to say, well, ladies
-
and gentlemen, this is bunny. It has a suffix yawd. Okay,
-
I don't I don't think I know. I can go get a masoretic manuscript.
-
Look at it. That sons plural. That next is alith lamed your
-
men, that sons of God. Yes, yes, okay. Remember in
-
Hebrew has several different ways to spell that phrase. But that's what this is
-
saying here. The problem is when you do switch it over to the sebdulgent,
-
you're ran into something that is exclusive to this verse. Okay, Now,
-
look, all of you are just going to have to trust me.
-
You're gonna have to trust me that if I was able to peer into the
-
Greek and see that Megaloprepez is actually in Psalm twenty nine, you're just gonna
-
have to take faith with me that this is the only instance of this in
-
the Greek. This says sons of the Lord. You know, you know,
-
heurials Lord. That's Gent sixty two. What comes after is sons that's
-
G fifty two O seven. That's never anywhere else in the Bible. I
-
don't think I know I'm qualified to tell you that to your face. So
-
when we switch it over to like the Thompson's translation, what does it say.
-
That's a translation that's readily available. It says, ye, children of
-
God. And once again I appreciate that. I do appreciate that the mainstay
-
of this ministry for the Septuligiant is the n ET s Now, I strongly
-
suggest everybody get a copy. I have a copy right there on my bookshelf,
-
the New English translation of the Septuagint. That's what I'm going to be
-
reading for. It puts it in this way. It says, bring to
-
the Lord, Oh, divine sons, And this really is the real way
-
it should be phrased, Oh, divine sons, bring to the Lord Glory
-
for his name. Now, the problem with this is is how the verse
-
ends. And take note the Thompson translation says in his holy court. Let's
-
read this verse two out of the out of the Thompson translation, offered to
-
the Lord Glory to his name, worship the Lord in his holy court.
-
So I'm not going to elaborate too much onto that, but you do need
-
to realize and understand this. So this is what the megalop repas means.
-
Jose isn't this verse, saying that that this voice is not just coming from
-
any place in heaven. All right, This isn't the chair of them,
-
right, This isn't the choir in heaven. This voice is coming from where.
-
This is coming from his court. This is coming from from the courtroom
-
in heaven. Yes, that's where Megalope repairs is. That's where it is.
-
No matter how you use that Greek word, that's its origin. That's
-
where it's coming from. So once you let that cout out of the bag
-
and you realize, oh, this is coming from God's heavenly court, now
-
something else is at play. Now it serves a purpose. Now when you
-
continue reading from verse two, you realize that this voice is serving a purpose.
-
It's making a proclamation. You would call this a divine proclamation. Right,
-
getting back to how you originally started this out, this is a judge
-
telling you from the bench, Jose, this is what the law says,
-
right right. That was the perfect way to put it, you know.
-
That's why I was so amazed how you opened the program. Both elements you
-
put right in there right up front. First off, everybody that does the
-
visualization with the spirit coming down, you know in that school and mogus and
-
Lida. That's cool, But what really was important thing was a divine proclamation
-
from the judge himself. Because at the end of the day, Uh,
-
it really don't matter what the law says, does it, Jose No,
-
because the judge he can proclaim whatever he whatever he decides to do with you.
-
That's going to happen, right right yep. So I'm amazed that you
-
put those two elements right up front. So well, Matthew, we know
-
this because if if we were holding to the law, we'd all be guilty
-
and we'd have no chance. But because God's the judge and his mercy,
-
he accepts the sacrifices as of his son for our sins. That's that's that's
-
the only reason that we even have a chance, Matthew, Because if we
-
haven't by the letter of the law, we're cooked. We're done. Yes,
-
we're done, because we would get our just desserts. Amen. Thank
-
God that he is a lie. Amen. Amen. Thank God that the
-
law is what he says it is, that's the law. I mean,
-
yes, we have this great big wow. I mean, saying the Bible
-
is complicated is an gross understatement. That's a gross understatement. It is,
-
it's it's it's wonderful, it's it's beyond you and I jose. I mean,
-
if we put both our heads together, we're not gonna come up with
-
the fraction of the data that it contains. And that's just the truth.
-
So you know, what's your thoughts about the Greek? And should we read
-
the septuligent version before we go too much further? Yeah, we can do
-
that. Why don't you go ahead and read it? Is that one that
-
document you sent me, is that the ants version, Matthew, it is.
-
I failed to identify it, but yes, that's that's what I have
-
in the document. All right, then I'll read that one. So Psalm
-
twenty nine, which is in the Greek Psalm twenty eight, but in the
-
Hebrews the one we're normally familiar with, Psalm twenty nine from the Ants,
-
a psalm pertaining to David. Bring to the Lord, O Divine's sons,
-
bring to the Lord glory and honor. Bring to the Lord glory for his
-
name, due obeissence to the Lord in his holy court. The Lord's voice
-
is over the waters. The God of Glory thundered the Lord over many waters.
-
The Lord's voice and strength. The lord's voice in magnificence. The Lord's
-
voice as he crushes cedars. And the Lord will crush the cedars of Lebanon,
-
and he will pulverize them, as the bull ca the Lebanon. And
-
he that is beloved is like a son of unicorns. The Lord's voice as
-
he divides flames of fire. The Lord will shake the wilderness of Cadess.
-
The Lord's voice as he prepares dear, and he will uncover for us.
-
And in his shrine every last one speaks of glory. The Lord will settle
-
the flood. The Lord will sit as king forever. The Lord will give
-
strength to his people. The Lord will bless his people with peace. Oh
-
I can say to that is amen? Amen. Seems like he repeated that
-
word the Lord's voice over and over in this, Saul Matthew, it must
-
be pretty important. Well, I could say other things about this. Uh,
-
I could say other things about this psalm Um. Besides that, that
-
immediately lets you know that not only did did he repeat, um, the
-
voice, the voice, the voice, the voice. Um, you know
-
there's other things at how can I say that? Um? There's other things
-
that play here? Um? So yes, I absolutely agree with you.
-
He wants you to see his voice, and he wants you to see that
-
he personally from his bench, because I think for the Restless Program I was
-
going to refer it to. I mean, the judge don't have a seat,
-
right, Jose, that's the bench. You approached the bench a man,
-
Yes, yes, an go ahead, I'm saying amen, yep.
-
Um. So you know, with that in mind, whatever's coming from the
-
bench is obviously important. And you know, wow, there's so much that
-
I could talk about the verses just right now, but it's enough to say
-
that that we should be able to see this that. Um, it's extremely
-
prophetic that he uses his voice over the waters. Um. Also, the
-
god of glory thundered, Why is that important? Why I need to fill
-
in the blanks here because I already mentioned this once, this reference from John
-
chapter twelve. Uh, and I need to jump over there because I you
-
know, I don't need to miss this anyway. Uh, Father, glorify
-
your name. Then a voice came out of heaven. I have both glorified
-
it, and I will glorify it again. So the crowd of people who
-
stood by heard it were saying that it had thundered. Okay, So the
-
people that was there that heard this voice, they said it sounded like it
-
thundered. Others were saying, an angel is spoken to him. Jesus answered
-
and said, this voice has not come for my sake, but for your
-
sakes. Now, now take note, you better tie this two together.
-
This is coming from the bench, Jose, is coming from the bench.
-
Thirty one. Now, judgment is upon this world. Now the ruler of
-
this world will be asked out, and I, if I am lifted up
-
from the earth, will draw all men to myself. So enough about that.
-
I just wanted to fill in the blanks for Wyatt said, why the
-
God of Glory thundered? So he's telling you multiple things is going to happen
-
here, and one of them. Verse three is obviously talking about the baptism
-
Jose, Right, Yes it is. It's obviously talking about the baptism.
-
Now, had you ever heard this before? I mean, you obviously went
-
through Sunday School, You obviously went through many sermons. Had you ever heard
-
anybody linked these two events together? No, Matthew, never does that bother
-
you? Yes it does, because, like I said, if if,
-
if I would have known that this song was in reverence to the baptism,
-
then it would have first of all cemented cemented that the importance of the voice
-
of God's voice in both the baptism story and the Tennis figuration story. But
-
it also would have made me to study on when God speaks and what he's
-
what it means, and what he's saying when he speaks from the bench.
-
Right. Um, that's that's that's what's coming to mind right now. Um.
-
He didn't just you know, happen to look when look one day and
-
see his son being baptized and say, okay, oh look at that.
-
That's great. Yeah, he's my son. He's been sitting there waiting for
-
that to happen, and then when it did, then he proclaimed, it's
-
pretty it's pretty amazing. It is pretty amazing. Explicitly when you it's confusing
-
because ladies, gentlemen, look up the him the Lord will bless his people.
-
Let me say it again, look up the name of this hymn,
-
The Lord will bless his people. Because guess what, every instant of it,
-
whenever you you find us him it oldly declares, this is Psalm twenty
-
nine. I mean, I'm looking at a generic search I did using Google.
-
Right here the baptism of the Lord Psalm twenty nine, The Lord will
-
bless his people. Everybody knows it. If everybody knows it, why is
-
it this pointed out when everybody knows it's a matter of public knowledge. The
-
hymn the Lord will bless his people is from Psalm twenty nine. Yes it
-
is, Yes it is. Look it up. So it's kind of it
-
is bothering when you know that that a preacher can't say that he don't know
-
this. Jose right, Your Sunday school teacher cannot say they don't know it.
-
Yes, yes, it's it's a matter of public knowledge. A Psalm
-
twenty nine is about the baptism of Jesus. That is yea, it is.
-
They figured this out some way, jose right, right. And when
-
you realize the information lying in this chapter, it's enough to rattle your cage.
-
This has got something to do with the judge making a proclamation, and
-
he is obviously making this proclamation not just to the sons of men, not
-
just to the angels. Matter of fact, not just to the seraphim.
-
I mean the seraphim are in earshot right of God. So are the chair
-
them there within earshot. But no, No, the Lord God when he
-
makes this declaration and from Megaloprepez, he's telling creation. That's the cockroaches,
-
that's the cherubim, that's the lions, tigers and bears. This edict is
-
coming from the bench and everybody else that's not behind the bench. They're the
-
ones that's being proclaimed to Lottie Dotty everybody. When you realize that, you
-
know, it kind of rattles your cage. So so what's your your thoughts
-
on some of the phrases that you locked into. Yeah, I think that's
-
and that's important, Matthew, I don't. I don't think that's unless you
-
unless you know Psalm twenty nine, and unless you remember it when you're reading
-
the baptism story. I think for me, that's that's what was missing,
-
is he's not just proclaiming it to the people that are there witnessing the baptism.
-
He's proclaiming it to all of creation, to the heavenly realm, the
-
earthly realm, everybody. Um, it's this is him physically saying how he's
-
going to set up his kingdom. He's gonna set up his king as his
-
son, as King forever, right. That's what it says in verse ten
-
um, and and all the previous verses is just how he's going to set
-
that up, what he's going to do to the angelic realm, what he's
-
going to do to the to to creation itself. You know, it says
-
prepared, deer uncovered forrests Um. You know he's he's not just he's kind
-
of kind of setting out an order of operations like in the military. This
-
is what this is what we're gonna do. This is how the steps that
-
we're going to proceed. And it begins right there with the baptism, Matthew.
-
Um. What what hit me though, is verse seven, Um,
-
because it talks about the Lord's voice dividing the flames of fire and the Lord
-
shaking the wilderness of cadess Um the flames of fire, Matthew. When I
-
hear that, I hear Kara's rebellion because of the whole thing with the censors
-
and all and all that happened. That that that Moses instructed Kara and his
-
crew to do and left it up to judge, to God to judge who
-
he was going to pick. Um. So yeah, we can sit here
-
and clap and cheer when when God's telling the angels he's gonna put him down,
-
and he's gonna set others set up, you know, his his son,
-
and and and the rod of iron for his son. But boy,
-
that right there, dividing the flames of fire, that's that's talking to us,
-
Matthew, warning us about Kara's rebellion when we're in the wilderness. I
-
absolutely agree. And you know verse six is chilling. What does that mean
-
when he says and he will overise them, right? I mean, I
-
mean it's one thing to have somebody here on earth say that you know they're
-
going to pulverize you. When this statement is made from the bench, right,
-
you should have everybody worried because that shaking associated with kas rebellion is one
-
of the only two times that God's work says that, you know, the
-
ground opens up right right, and that's not good that that that's not a
-
good thing to have happened here. But he's saying that after this, so
-
after this event, by mentioning Kadesh, it also does something to me because
-
I know what happened there. There was the beginning of the wilderness Wars.
-
Numbers like what are you talking about Mathew. Well, well, I know
-
the Bible, Okay, that's what I know. And you have to understand
-
that when the twelve witnesses came back, ten of them said, you know,
-
oh no, we can't do it. We can't do it. So
-
God says, okay, so you're gonna wander out here for forty years.
-
And then everybody changed, Oh okay, well we'll go ahead and take it.
-
Of course, Moses says, you're all idiots. God just said from
-
the bench. Now you're all going to die in the wilderness over the course
-
of forty years. And they're like, no, no, we'll go ahead
-
and take it. So what they do they try to invade the Promised Land,
-
right, And so when you know the baby were history, you read
-
verse seven. No, that's a lie. That didn't happen. God didn't.
-
They didn't win at Kidad. That's not what happened. They lost.
-
So if you don't know everything that's going on here, if God would have
-
done that from this place, then they would have entered the Promised Land without
-
the forty years, right, Jose, Right, So this is obviously a
-
future event because the Bible doesn't lie. So that should tell you that versus
-
nine and ten is post is after this event that oover rises, it says,
-
this voice crushes, it divides. After this event we have some Jose,
-
how do you uncover a forest? Exactly? How do you do that?
-
I mean, because I know you just chop off up all the all
-
the tops, Matthew and expose everything to to the light. You know.
-
It immediately reminds me of the geological anomaly, because I geology, Okay,
-
I know the truth. And they're saying that these layers of sediment are trillions
-
of years, right, But then you have trees that are petrified growing right
-
up through trillions of years. Now, ladies and gentlemen, the trees are
-
the proof and the putting of the flood those SIPs, right, So that's
-
immediate what it brings to mind. If you mean, if you under I
-
mean, if you I'm not gonna spend too much time on that. One
-
thing is for sure, Jose, Yep, that that word and the King
-
James says discover at the forest. That that gives a more clear meaning of
-
what he's saying there, Like what you're saying uncovering, uncovering I'm thinking you
-
know you're gonna expose us underneath the forest. But when the us James Us
-
is the word discover, discover the forest. That means there's a forest that's
-
hidden. I'm gonna show everybody, you know, where it's at when he's
-
when he's done, and that, like I said, that phraseology, once
-
you realize it, it's kind of worrying because you realize that we're going someplace
-
and it's farther than Kansas, and it's definitely over the rainbow wherever we're going.
-
I hope I said that in a way that everybody would understand it.
-
It's unsettling what he uses here, because ladies and gentlemen. I was,
-
hey, are you taking a look at a Greek at the Greek of what
-
this says? What the word for uncover? There is ladies and gentlemen.
-
That's g six O one, ladies and gentlemen. That's apocalypse. Yes it
-
is, Yes it is. It's apocalypse. Now how do you how do
-
you apocalyse a forest? And I'm not going to spend too much time there
-
because we've already uncovered a nightmare. I mean, Lady Jim, we're going
-
someplace special. Especially when you look into the phraseology of this and let me
-
do this. I'm just gonna have to do this or everybody knows what I'm
-
talking about. The cedars of Lebanon. Okay, we'll do this from the
-
KJV. All right, Ezeka, chapter thirty one, verse three, Yes,
-
okay, before I read it, Yes this is true, Ye,
-
yes, it is true. Behold the Assyrian was a cedar in Lebanon,
-
with fair branches, with a shadowing shroud and high stature, and his top
-
was among the fifth bowls. Now, unfortunately it talks about the water here
-
too. The waters made him great, the deep set up on high?
-
How did the deep set him up on high? So this is obviously referring
-
here in Psalm chapter twenty nine. It is obviously referring to the angels being
-
cast down, and we absolutely know that events in revelation, right, Jose,
-
right, yes, that is what happens. Now this reference here,
-
that that's in verse ten. You know the Lord said his king at the
-
flood. What does the Thompson say here? The Lord will cause that which
-
was alluged to be inhabited? Okay? What okay? Okay, Jose,
-
why don't you give me verse ten again? Out of the nts the Lord
-
will settle the flood. The Lord will sit as king forever. So obviously
-
everybody realizes that, Hey, maybe Jose and I should take a look at
-
the Greek and when you switch it over here to the Greek for this verse,
-
well, for one, I see one word here that's not been keyed
-
to strong. That should get everybody's attention. Unfortunately, we're at the top
-
of the hour and it's time for us to lay these things to rest.
-
But take note, of course, God is going to sit as king,
-
because we know what the psalms. Other psalms states very plainly, where the
-
water is going to be laid up. Jose and I have told you this
-
repeatedly. That's exactly what God's going to do. This is exactly what Psalm
-
thirty three says. I'll read it again. You need to digest this.
-
This is true Psalm thirty three, verse seven. He gathers the waters of
-
the sea together as a heap. He lays up the deeps in store houses.
-
Jose, what does that mean? There's no way around what he's saying,
-
Lady Stune, because the storehouses of the deepest only elsewhere mentioned in the
-
flood. Yes it is, Yes, it is yes, it is.
-
Well, I could say so much, I've said so little. I've literally
-
said so little. It's amazing how every time after Jose and I get off
-
air, I say that man, I didn't get a chance to share anything.
-
But anyway, Jose, what's your closing comments here? You know,
-
say what God puts on your heart. This is your last chance to to
-
edify God's children with this topic. So what's your closing comments? So,
-
Matthew just just on the importance of actually at least looking at the original languages,
-
because again, we were talking about this uncovering of forests, and if
-
you just read it, even flipping through the various translations, it'll make it
-
sound like like you're just you're discovering the forest. It'll make it sound like
-
the forests are laid bare. There's different ways it's translated. But when you
-
look at the Greek word, Matthew, like you said, it's apocalypsos,
-
and it takes you right if you just do a simple search on that word.
-
You know, the first one I hit on first Peter one thirteen and
-
it says the revelation of Jesus crisis that same word. So that's what this
-
is. Talking about the Revelation, you know, that famous book that everyone
-
likes to read. And um, so you just can't you just can't deny
-
that this is all prophetic. M And for myself, that's how I read
-
the Bible, and that's what helped me understand what God's talking about, because
-
because God's giving us a ton of information in every single line of the Bible.
-
And unless there's a way to structure it, unless there's a way to
-
add that to your database, it's just you're just you're you're not going to
-
know where to put it, Matthew. And so it's going to get put
-
in the corner, like we start at the beginning, right that voice,
-
I don't know what to do with it. So I'm gonna put it in
-
the corner. Now. Thankfully, God's rewarded our faithfulness. Um. And
-
now he's showing, he's showing that He's pulling it out of the corner and
-
say here, here's how it's important, Jose. Now you need to share
-
this. Now you need to show people how prophetic what happened in the transfiguration,
-
how prophetic what happened in the baptism of Jesus Christ was. And you
-
know, we're hoping that this edifices the ecclesia. We're hoping that the strengthens
-
people's faith because they're gonna have to endure what song twenty nine is talking about.
-
Matthew. This is going to come to pass and it's going to shake
-
the heavens and the earth, and we're gonna have to endure it. And
-
the only way you can is if you have the faith that strengthened with the
-
word. So that I think those are my final final words, Matthew.
-
That's how important it is to read your Bible again, Matthew. It's the
-
voice, right, we get the Holy Spirit and it helps it helps us,
-
you know, do good things here on earth. That helps us bless
-
people, it helps us not sin. But boy, that voice that he's
-
written down, that's uh, you can't do anything with that. In Matthew,
-
it is life, amen, you know you can't say it's living.
-
Of course, that's a problem with this garbage language we have of English.
-
It'd be so much better to be able to word this in Spanish because Spanish
-
has feminine masculine, it has the plurals and as you know, so it'd
-
be so much easier. But the only way I can say it is God's
-
word is life. I mean, it is living. It it does make
-
to live. But the only way we can say it in this tongue is
-
it is life. It is life. So all right, jose M,
-
pray us out of here. Please do you have any Father, I thank
-
you for bringing me and my brother together to study your psalms, to study
-
your gospels, have to study your whole word. Lord. There are not
-
words enough that I could express to how important it is in my life,
-
how much of a light it has been to my life. And I only
-
ask that you allow me to share that light with everyone else. Lord,
-
Too many times, as Christians, as believers, we struggle with how to
-
share your word, how to share your son with others. We let too
-
many obstacles get in the way. So Lord, I asked that these programs
-
are a way for my light to shine and for your word to spread not
-
only through the ecclesia, but through the whole world. And I ask all
-
this in the name of your son, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
-
Amen, Amen and Amen. Good Next time, ladies and gentlemen,
-
God bless, God speed.
